- 0:27Hey everybody, good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So the today's question, all the worrying that you've ever done,
- 0:34all of it, when you think back of it, has it ever been worth
- 0:37it? Has the worrying ever really
- 0:39served you? Has it ever given you anything
- 0:41that you could walk away with and say, wow, you know, that was
- 0:44worth all that time I spent worrying.
- 0:47I'm going to go with odds are no, because for my own reality
- 0:51and my own experience, most of the time when I spend time
- 0:55worrying about things, I walk back and say, well, I worried
- 0:59about that for nothing. You know, all that energy, all
- 1:01that time gone, didn't even need to worry about it.
- 1:05And I think that we have become so habitually conditioned to
- 1:10worry about things that we forget regularly.
- 1:14We forget regularly that that worry is supposed to be a short
- 1:19term burst. It's the difference between the
- 1:21sprinter and the marathoner, as I've talked about that before,
- 1:25The sprinter, you know, you can worry about it.
- 1:28You can just be like, OK, yeah, do I need to worry about this?
- 1:30Because the information is supposed to just help you get
- 1:32past anything you need to be concerned with.
- 1:35It's meant to give you information.
- 1:37But when you go into it long term and you really start
- 1:40digging in and you look at, OK, I'm just worrying about this day
- 1:44after day after day after day, all you're doing at that point
- 1:48in time is causing your chemistry and your body to
- 1:51shift. You're attracting your you're,
- 1:55you're forcing your energy to attract something you don't
- 1:57want. So you're end up attracting what
- 1:59you're worrying about. And then you say, oh, see, I
- 2:01knew that would happen. See, I knew it would happen.
- 2:04And we look and say, well, did it happen because it was going
- 2:09to happen? Or did it happen because I was
- 2:11so focused on it? And boy, oh boy, I'll tell you,
- 2:15I I have become more and more convinced over the years that I
- 2:19have been doing this work that it's the latter.
- 2:22It's the fact that we torture ourselves.
- 2:24We attract our own problems. We put our focus on all the
- 2:28things we don't want and we worry about them.
- 2:31And then all of a sudden they show up and then we say up, see,
- 2:35I knew it. Well, I'm going to go with the
- 2:37thought that no, that is not the case.
- 2:41We attract things and we have to take responsibility for it.
- 2:45We have to take responsibility for our emotions, what we talk
- 2:48about, what we put our energy to.
- 2:50And we need to shift away from the things we don't want because
- 2:53we are ultimately causing our own problems.
- 2:56And whether we like it or not, we have to be aware that we are
- 3:01self-contained, self responsible, and we need to own
- 3:04our thoughts, actions, feelings. Everything comes down to us.
- 3:09Every bit of it comes down to us.
- 3:12And regardless of what has been going on in your world, you can
- 3:17shift it by just changing your trajectory, by changing your
- 3:20thoughts and your emotions and being consistent.
- 3:23Moving away from the worry. The more you move away from the
- 3:26worry, the more you will progress in the right direction.
- 3:31Now, will this be instantaneous? Well, it could be.
- 3:33It depends on how strong the emotion to move away from it is.
- 3:36But for most people, it takes practice.
- 3:38And this is something that's the art, the art form of, you know,
- 3:43developing your character towards the things that you
- 3:46want, that positivity, that love, that gratitude, and
- 3:50staying in that state more consistently because the more
- 3:53you stay in it, the safer you are to have it be with you all
- 3:56the time. The more you jump out of it, the
- 3:59more you run the risk of it taking off on you.
- 4:03And there you go. You're right back to where you
- 4:05started. So just some food for thought
- 4:09with this, you might want to start your practice every day of
- 4:13saying to yourself, am I at least a minimum of three times a
- 4:16day? I would even go so far as to
- 4:18tell you to do more. I myself do this hourly, check
- 4:22in with my energy as to where am I right now?
- 4:25Am I on the right path? Did I have a moment where I went
- 4:27offline? Sure, I'm human, I still do
- 4:31that, everybody does. But you know, this is a great
- 4:34thing to remember, just like I always love to use the chickens
- 4:37as an example. They will have a fight among the
- 4:40ladies here because you can't put 39 chickens into one's, you
- 4:45know, farm. I mean, they have plenty of
- 4:47space, but they still have attitude as they free range even
- 4:50that they'll find something, one of them will run over, they'll
- 4:53get in a fight, someone will take something away from
- 4:56somebody and two seconds later they've forgotten it and they're
- 4:58totally fine. And if there's one thing about
- 5:01having a chicken brain that's a a value, it's that they don't
- 5:04remember the crap that happened. They don't they don't hang on to
- 5:08it. They don't, you know, they just
- 5:10don't sit there and have the fear of it.
- 5:12You can probably hear a hawk off in the distance as I'm talking
- 5:16today. And I have lost probably in the
- 5:20time I've had my chickens out here, about four chickens to
- 5:24Hawks. And it was before we realized
- 5:27some of the stuff that was preventing the the chickens from
- 5:32having enough hiding spaces because they free range.
- 5:35It was there were some things that we could do better.
- 5:37I mean, it's going to happen. It's Mother Nature and I
- 5:39recognize that. And they have the best chicken
- 5:41life they can while they have it.
- 5:43But one of the things I so admire about them is the fact
- 5:47that even though they've seen it happen, doesn't stop them from
- 5:50free ranging. As I'm talking to you right now,
- 5:52they are already out and they are digging in the Pines and
- 5:56they are going through all the pine needles and getting bugs.
- 5:59And they have a rooster who's watching over them.
- 6:02And they'll hear it and they'll check, but they don't let it
- 6:05stop them. And they have to have that kind
- 6:08of tenacity. You have to kind of have that
- 6:10make up. So when the worry takes you
- 6:12over, put it in check. Don't let it stop you.
- 6:15Make it give you the information you need, and then move on.
- 6:20I hope you guys have a very blessed day and I will see you
- 6:23tomorrow. And hopefully you have a chicken
- 6:25brain day where you just let it all go.
- 6:28All right, my friends, have a great one.
- 6:29Bye.
