- 0:00Medical researchers tell us that bacteria that can cause various
- 0:04disease conditions are always present in our environment to
- 0:08some degree, including within our bodies.
- 0:12Yet for the most part, we do not become ill or remain I'll all
- 0:17the time. The bacteria may be in a
- 0:19diffused or weak form, or our various immune system defenses
- 0:25reject their attempt to overpower our system in a way
- 0:28that creates an active illness. In some cases, we may experience
- 0:33a feeling of physical pressure of some sort and then exercise.
- 0:37A mental will create an affirmation of health or seek
- 0:42out some form of external support to avoid or reduce the
- 0:46onset, intensity or length of any illness.
- 0:52In many cases, the subconscient raises a vibrational response to
- 0:56the activity of the agent trying to disrupt or gain control over
- 1:01the physical body and thus opens up a type of correspondence
- 1:06which allows the vibration to take hold and the bacteria
- 1:10thereby to proliferate and increase their intensity.
- 1:15Vibrational patterns at the mental, vital and physical level
- 1:20are likewise always active in the environment.
- 1:24If an individual is receptive to any of these vibrations, they
- 1:28take root in the being at whatever level they are active,
- 1:32whether in the mind, the vital being, or the physical.
- 1:37As we see, in the process of physical illness, it is possible
- 1:41for any part of the being to actively reject vibrations and
- 1:46thereby prevent their taking hold.
- 1:49The various parts of the being are not always in agreement with
- 1:52each other, so the mind may reject something that the vital
- 1:56still desires or the physical craves, and thus part of the
- 2:02being is creating a receptive opening for that vibration, even
- 2:06if another part is clearly against it.
- 2:10It is only after all parts of the being have refused
- 2:13admittance to these vibrations and their influence that the
- 2:17being can be considered totally clear.
- 2:20And even then these universal forces try to reinfect the being
- 2:24at some level and thereby to create a starting point for a
- 2:29full blown expression, Sri Aurobindo notes quote.
- 2:35As for the things in our nature that are thrown away from us by
- 2:38rejection but come back, it depends on where you throw them.
- 2:43Very often there is a sort of procedure about it.
- 2:46The mind rejects its mentalities, the vital, its
- 2:49vitalities, the physical, its physicalities.
- 2:53These usually go back into the corresponding domain of general
- 2:57nature. It all stays at first, when that
- 3:00happens in the environmental consciousness which we carry
- 3:03about with us, by which we communicate with the outside
- 3:07nature, and often it persistently rushes back from
- 3:11there until it is so absolutely rejected or thrown far away, as
- 3:17it were, that it cannot return upon us anymore.
- 3:22But when what the thinking and willing mind rejects is strongly
- 3:25supported by the vital, it leaves the mind indeed, but
- 3:29sinks down into the vital, rages there, and tries to rush up
- 3:34again and reoccupy the mind and compel or capture our mental
- 3:39acceptance. When the higher vital too the
- 3:43heart, or the larger vital dynamis reject it, it sings from
- 3:47there and takes refuge in the lower vital, with its mass of
- 3:51small current movements that make up our daily littleness.
- 3:55When the lower vital too rejects it, it sinks into the physical
- 3:59consciousness and tries to stick by inertia or mechanical
- 4:04repetition, Rejected even. From there it goes into the
- 4:09subconscious and comes up in dreams, in passivity, in
- 4:14extreme. Thomas the inconsiant is the
- 4:18last resort of the ignorance. End Quote.
