  Revelation 12. A great sign appeared in

  heaven, a woman clothed with a sun, with

  a moon under her feet, and a crown of 12

  stars on her head. She was pregnant and

  cried out in pain as she was about to
• 0:26
  give birth. She gave birth to a son, a
• 0:28
  male child, who will rule all the
• 0:31
  nations with an iron scepter. And her
• 0:33
  child was snatched up to God in his
• 0:36
  throne. Then the dragon was enraged at
• 0:38
  the woman and went off to wage war
• 0:40
  against the rest of her offspring, those
• 0:43
  who keep God's commands and hold fast to
• 0:46
  their testimony about Jesus. I call

  Revelation 12 the spiritual Christmas

  of what the gospels tell us happened on

  earth. A woman is chosen to carry the

  embryo of God until he is birthed on man

  on earth as a man like the rest of us

  looking like all of us. God's entry into

  our world signified the significance he

  places upon human creation. God came to

  earth to save the world, to restore his

  rule, and to reign over all creation.

  those who love him, those who have

  humbled themselves before him, admitting

  their rebellion against him, those who

  believe Jesus is God, the sacrifice for

  the sins of all humanity, and their reel

  and that he rose from the dead to prove

  his sacrifice was accepted and his
• 1:40
  promise of eternal life for all of us

  certain. All who do these things are
• 1:45
  adopted by God as sons and daughters of
• 1:48
  God to live forever in his new kingdom

  upon the new earth when he finally
• 1:53
  returns to live with his creation
• 1:56
  forever. These children of God are
• 1:58
  marked by living as Jesus did. They obey

  Jesus's commands and they testify to his
• 2:04
  life, death, and resurrection to all
• 2:07
  people so that all people might likewise
• 2:09
  repent, believe, and obey Jesus on earth
• 2:13
  as is done in heaven. Are we children of
• 2:16
  God? Are our lives marked by persistent
• 2:19
  effort toward obedience to everything
• 2:22
  Jesus commanded? Are we constantly
• 2:25
  praying for and sharing with people the
• 2:27
  need to repent, believe, and obey Jesus
• 2:30
  as Savior and Lord? If we are, continue
• 2:33
  on, for great is your reward. If not,

  take stock. You have no reason to

  believe you are truly a child of God.

  For you are not living as the Son of

  God, who is perfect in all his ways,

  while preaching for all people to
