- 0:31Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I'm doing all right, Mark? How about you?
- 0:36Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm good. Hey. You must have encountered Jesse
- 0:40Speaker 2: Jackson the number of times through the years got.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Them an once on the Factor, but I ran into
- 0:47Speaker 1: them a whole bunch of times, and I had mixed
- 0:53Speaker 1: feelings about Reverend Jackson, So you've got to admire his
- 0:59Speaker 1: commit into his people. You know, I travel with Martin
- 1:04Speaker 1: Luther King. Was there any assassination? And I do The
- 1:09Speaker 1: history of mister Jackson was I think a positive for
- 1:18Speaker 1: the country. But as an older guy, he veered into
- 1:22Speaker 1: victimization as Sharpton does. And you know the high profile
- 1:27Speaker 1: black people who are trying to get changed, better change
- 1:31Speaker 1: for African Americans, and this is Black History Month in February,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and victimization trying to persuade younger Blacks that the deck
- 1:43Speaker 1: is stacked and they'll never get egal treatment. I don't
- 1:47Speaker 1: subscribe to that at all. I think it's a destructive thing.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So that was my mixed feeling about Jackson. He did
- 1:55Speaker 1: go into that area, and I thought that he was
- 2:03Speaker 1: wrong for doing that.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you kind of have to do that if your
- 2:07Speaker 2: game is battling racism, if you eliminate it, you put
- 2:11Speaker 2: yourself out of work. So he doesn't have to kind
- 2:13Speaker 2: of keep the thing going a little.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Well, his fortune printed today, I don't know if it's true.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's four million dollars. That's not a lot of money
- 2:22Speaker 1: for an eighty five year old who is that high
- 2:24Speaker 1: profile and could charge a substantial fee for speaking engagements
- 2:30Speaker 1: and things like that. So it wasn't like Sharpton, who's
- 2:35Speaker 1: a money guy. I don't think Jackson was in it
- 2:39Speaker 1: for the money, but he said he was in it
- 2:42Speaker 1: for the agulation. And when you do the victim thing,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you get a lot more applause than when you do Look,
- 2:51Speaker 1: we know we've gotten hoes here in African Americans have
- 2:55Speaker 1: a legacy that they have to overcome slavery and all that.
- 3:00Speaker 1: But there is opportunity and you should go out and
- 3:04Speaker 1: try to seize it. That's not a big applause line.
- 3:09Speaker 1: While the hey, you're getting screwed, you'll always get screwed,
- 3:13Speaker 1: so let's get angry, that's so much a bigger applause
- 3:17Speaker 1: line in some precincts.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, speaking of getting angry, these Democrats today, Bill Maher
- 3:23Speaker 2: made this point Friday night. It's like a game with him,
- 3:26Speaker 2: like a childish game. They just want to get angry.
- 3:29Speaker 2: They want to get themselves riled up. It's emotional, it's childish.
- 3:33Speaker 2: It's got them cha champing the most crazy stuff. They
- 3:36Speaker 2: want to convince themselves their social justice warriors. How do
- 3:40Speaker 2: you ever cure a thing like that?
- 3:43Speaker 1: Well, the only thing the Democrats really have now is emotion.
- 3:49Speaker 1: So they're on the wrong side of pretty much every issue.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Look at the the IDs to vote, yeah, I mean
- 3:55Speaker 1: opposed is seventy five twenty five that American people bold
- 4:00Speaker 1: believe it's raisonabold to produce an ID before you catch
- 4:03Speaker 1: a ballot. Or the Democratic parties on the twenty five
- 4:06Speaker 1: percent band. And when you look at the states run
- 4:11Speaker 1: by Democrats, California, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, they're all fiscal disasters,
- 4:17Speaker 1: every one of them, all going down the drain financially.
- 4:22Speaker 1: So what do they have. They don't have anything but emotion,
- 4:26Speaker 1: and the emotion is Trump sedevil. Anybody supports them as
- 4:30Speaker 1: you know, demons, and they'll pound that and pound that
- 4:33Speaker 1: and pound that, because if they didn't do that, then
- 4:38Speaker 1: what do they have to sell? Global warming? He goes
- 4:42Speaker 1: that is that what you got? It's not going to work.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Hey, I'm watching at Munich conference and I'm watching AOC
- 4:50Speaker 2: give the dumbest answer on Taiwan. And I'm thinking, if
- 4:53Speaker 2: you're China and you're watching this, you're now going to
- 4:55Speaker 2: want to do everything you can. You're going to want
- 4:57Speaker 2: to get AOC elected because she's so weak.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Uh.
- 5:00Speaker 2: You think that's one reason that Chinese are funding all
- 5:02Speaker 2: these crazies here?
- 5:07Speaker 1: I would say, no, I know that Chinese pretty well. Uh.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And the money coming out of Shanghai into the United
- 5:14Speaker 1: States is designed to cause mayhem. They don't really care
- 5:18Speaker 1: is in charge. They want to break the society down
- 5:23Speaker 1: and create strife. That's the Chinese strategies, you know, get
- 5:28Speaker 1: them from within, and that's why this big money is
- 5:32Speaker 1: coming now. As far as Congress Cosso Cortez is concerned,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I went to Boston, you where she attended as well.
- 5:41Speaker 1: You can coast through that place. I'm sorry to you.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I know a lot of people. I enjoyed it. I
- 5:48Speaker 1: got a master's degree in broadcast journalism, and I was
- 5:51Speaker 1: on the newspaper and Bu offered me a lot of opportunity,
- 5:55Speaker 1: which I seized. But as far as academics is concerned,
- 5:59Speaker 1: this is not mit. Yeah, okay, So I don't expect
- 6:05Speaker 1: anything from her at all. I don't. I know, she
- 6:09Speaker 1: doesn't know history or geography or geopolitics, and I know
- 6:13Speaker 1: she doesn't understand even what socialism is. Jesus socialist. She
- 6:19Speaker 1: doesn't even know what it is. And and so if
- 6:23Speaker 1: people are going to vote for her, you are voting
- 6:25Speaker 1: for a vapid person as far as knowledge is.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Concerned, Yeah, vapid is being generous. I think I think
- 6:37Speaker 2: it's even worse than that.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I mean, just really well, you know me, I'm a
- 6:40Speaker 1: kind condession of dying.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Hey, you were at the super Bowl a week and
- 6:45Speaker 2: a half later. Looking back, on this, this whole Bad Bunny,
- 6:48Speaker 2: all this stuff. What do you think is the final fallout?
- 6:53Speaker 2: You know, there's always the saying, go woke, go broke.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Is the NFL going to do better next year or
- 6:58Speaker 2: worse because of this?
- 7:00Speaker 1: Well, we broke the story and it didn't get a
- 7:02Speaker 1: lot of pickup. I was very surprised. It's going to
- 7:05Speaker 1: get a lot more pickup. The reason that the Devius
- 7:09Speaker 1: Rabbit was on the stage was money. So Apple, which
- 7:14Speaker 1: controls the downloads of his music, contributed I don't know exactly,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but it's between fifty and one hundred million dollars to
- 7:24Speaker 1: the NFL this season alone. They paid the entire freight
- 7:29Speaker 1: for the halftime show Apple did, and in returning, Apple
- 7:33Speaker 1: said to the National Football League, you got to put
- 7:36Speaker 1: our guy Bad Bunny in the halftime show, and if
- 7:40Speaker 1: you do, we'll buy all this advertising and we'll finance
- 7:43Speaker 1: the halftime show. And so they made a deal. It
- 7:46Speaker 1: was all about money, wasn't about culture, wasn't about jay Z,
- 7:49Speaker 1: it wasn't about Rock Nation. It was all about cold
- 7:53Speaker 1: hard cash. And it's paid off for Apple because worldwide
- 7:59Speaker 1: the Apple music has surged, particularly Bad Bunny, which always
- 8:03Speaker 1: happens when you have a forum like that. So I
- 8:06Speaker 1: broke the story and I expected people to pick it up,
- 8:09Speaker 1: but nobody did because that's not as sexy is in
- 8:13Speaker 1: his journalistic parlance, as you know, a culture war over
- 8:17Speaker 1: bad bunny and what is bad bunny saying? And why
- 8:20Speaker 1: is he grabbing his crotch? And you know, I told
- 8:23Speaker 1: bad bunnies people, there are a powder for that. You know,
- 8:26Speaker 1: if you want to lessen that, you can. There's a
- 8:30Speaker 1: whole bunch of product for that. But that's a much
- 8:34Speaker 1: bigger draw, the culture war than the financial thing.
- 8:39Speaker 2: That's fascinating stuff. Now you can learn things like that
- 8:41Speaker 2: if you go to Bill O'Reilly dot com where you
- 8:44Speaker 2: can get his column and a message of the day,
- 8:46Speaker 2: the TV show billoreilly dot com and Bill O'Reilly. I
- 8:49Speaker 2: love that YouTube channel. Great stuff there.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and now we're gonna go with Hillary Clinton. Easy target,
- 8:56Speaker 1: I know, I know, but her reaction to being challenged
- 9:03Speaker 1: by the chech foreign minister about her Trump hatred was
- 9:09Speaker 1: fascinating on a lot of different levels. So I'm dropping that.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I would say about six o'clock tonight on its YouTube
- 9:18Speaker 1: dot com slash Bill O'Reilly is free it's free channel.
