- 0:12Speaker 3: This is two broad chicks to show that shares life
- 0:14Speaker 3: less and tips to help make you rich in life
- 0:17Speaker 3: and welcome back and welcome to the show back, Hello
- 0:22Speaker 3: for having me. Oh my god, I'm so excited. I'm
- 0:25Speaker 3: ready to like do a full life rebrand. It's going
- 0:28Speaker 3: to be me at like one am with an led
- 0:31Speaker 3: light mask on, being like.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Come to get out with like a green juice.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Yeah, now that's crazy. It will still be a glass
- 0:38Speaker 4: of given you.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It'll be a cokes here with a fuck ton of
- 0:42Speaker 3: ice in it and like a vod capasita RIGATONI.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Yeah, that's my plan tonight. And I'm going to watch
- 0:47Speaker 4: Just Think Your Loves and Mormon Wives Reunion.
- 0:50Speaker 2: It's important that's all part of the rebrand because something
- 0:53Speaker 2: should remain consistent exactly. Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But yeah, in today's episode, We've got you on because
- 0:58Speaker 1: it's the perfect time of year we were saying to have.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You on because we're going to be talking how to.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Set your goals and create habits that actually stick in
- 1:06Speaker 1: twenty twenty.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Six, I'm like starting early on it.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, because that's what we often say, and
- 1:12Speaker 1: I'm sure you feel the same, that you don't have
- 1:13Speaker 1: to wait until the first of January to start creating
- 1:16Speaker 1: those habits that you want.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I think that's the cheat code is to start before
- 1:20Speaker 5: the new year, like you have a little like ramp up,
- 1:22Speaker 5: do you know what I mean? It's a little practice
- 1:24Speaker 5: run and sometimes, like we know that study suggests it
- 1:28Speaker 5: takes on average sixty six days. Imagine if we started
- 1:30Speaker 5: in like November or like you know, early December, we've
- 1:33Speaker 5: come from end of gym, halfway through instilling a brand
- 1:37Speaker 5: new thing into our lifestyle.
- 1:39Speaker 4: That what do I want to do for sixty six days?
- 1:42Speaker 2: I need to figure it out. By the end of
- 1:45Speaker 2: the episode, we'll know.
- 1:46Speaker 1: But before we get into it, we like to start
- 1:48Speaker 1: with a life lesson of the week.
- 1:49Speaker 2: So would you like to kick this off?
- 1:51Speaker 1: I do.
- 1:52Speaker 5: It's a good one. It's a really good one. And
- 1:54Speaker 5: it's to do with my phone. Oh, I bought a brick.
- 2:00Speaker 5: If you the brick? Yes, yes, yes, I have no
- 2:02Speaker 5: affiliation with the brand, but is the the best product
- 2:05Speaker 5: I have purchased all year. It's literally just a little
- 2:08Speaker 5: square device like a brick. And it's a magnet and
- 2:11Speaker 5: you stick it wherever you want. I put mine in
- 2:13Speaker 5: my fridge and basically you tap it like you would
- 2:17Speaker 5: like a pay pass thing. It blocks you out of
- 2:21Speaker 5: any social media app, basically any app on your phone.
- 2:24Speaker 5: It blocks all notifications. And the only way to override
- 2:27Speaker 5: that is to go over to the brick and untap yourself,
- 2:30Speaker 5: like tap it again and physically. Yes. Yeah, so it's
- 2:34Speaker 5: like an intentional, deliberate choice to unblock yourself from social media.
- 2:40Speaker 5: So I used to have all that, like the Opal
- 2:41Speaker 5: app and whatever, but I would always override it. Yes,
- 2:44Speaker 5: I would always really dismiss, Yes, dismiss. When you decide
- 2:48Speaker 5: to make the decision to unbrick yourself, you have to
- 2:50Speaker 5: get up, walk over to wherever you have placed it,
- 2:54Speaker 5: and they recommend you place it in a really inconvenient place.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Ah.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Some people keep it in their car.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Some people keep it ah ah yeah that's brutal, yeah
- 3:02Speaker 3: going outside.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Fuck. So I has ded occasion to the course.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 5: So I have been like bricking myself or blocking myself
- 3:10Speaker 5: from distracting apps for like sixteen to twenty hours a day.
- 3:15Speaker 5: I just post, you know, unbreak myself for half an
- 3:19Speaker 5: hour and then break myself again and get back to
- 3:22Speaker 5: real life. My mental health has truly never been better.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Okay, I feel like I really need to do this.
- 3:28Speaker 5: I've had it for about a week, week and a half.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Okay, how long did you start with?
- 3:33Speaker 2: Did you were you?
- 3:34Speaker 4: Did you raw dog it to twenty hours?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:36Speaker 5: I did. I got to live in the afternoon one afternoon,
- 3:39Speaker 5: and I.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Really myselfy better than everyone else.
- 3:43Speaker 5: So I bricked it like seven thirty that the night
- 3:45Speaker 5: I got it.
- 3:46Speaker 4: That is my favorite.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I bricked it. I've bricked it. That's how I say.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I shit myself and I'm like scared being like fucking
- 3:56Speaker 3: bricked it.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Yeah, so I break myself at seven thirty, got up
- 4:00Speaker 5: in the morning, checked my phone like by default, nothing
- 4:04Speaker 5: no Slack, no email, no Instagram, no TikTok nothing.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Wow.
- 4:09Speaker 5: All I have, like unbricked is my family group chat. Okay,
- 4:13Speaker 5: it was just wholesome messages from my family. I got up,
- 4:16Speaker 5: went for a morning walk, did a gym session, came
- 4:19Speaker 5: back still nothing uninterrupted morning routine.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Oh my god, I'm like kind of getting even anxious.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Picked up my phone by default, and I was like, oh,
- 4:27Speaker 5: there's nothing there there's nothing, there's on there, no unbreaked.
- 4:29Speaker 5: At nine point thirty, started work and then I flicked
- 4:32Speaker 5: over to work mode and all the notifications came back
- 4:34Speaker 5: in and I was like, what the fuck? And the
- 4:35Speaker 5: next day I'll break myself and unbricked the same hours
- 4:38Speaker 5: wild And what I love most about it is you
- 4:40Speaker 5: can actually set different themes if you will. So there's
- 4:43Speaker 5: one I've set for a nighttime routine where it blocks everything,
- 4:46Speaker 5: and then there's also another like theme that I've set
- 4:49Speaker 5: called work mode and it allows only work related apps
- 4:52Speaker 5: to come through. It's changing my life. Yes, it was
- 4:55Speaker 5: like one hundred dollars. Okay, that's that was Yeah, And
- 4:58Speaker 5: I think if you buy two three, it's like discounted
- 5:02Speaker 5: to add more. But the phone should be a tool.
- 5:05Speaker 5: It's like, I'm so dependent on this. It has changed
- 5:08Speaker 5: my life. And what I've really noticed and the life
- 5:11Speaker 5: lesson here is the phone. This year has been my
- 5:15Speaker 5: biggest routine breaker and momentum killer.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Mmmm.
- 5:19Speaker 2: I agree.
- 5:19Speaker 4: I've had a bad year with my phone.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 2: The screen time is the screen time is.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Cool.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It's really bad.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Okay, what's your life lesson? Sow?
- 5:28Speaker 1: My life lesson of the week is actually inspired by
- 5:31Speaker 1: the latest episode of The Kardashians. This week's episode was
- 5:34Speaker 1: all about Kim's trial after she was robbed in Paris,
- 5:39Speaker 1: like almost ten years ago. It was wild and I
- 5:41Speaker 1: couldn't believe that it's taken almost ten years for her
- 5:44Speaker 1: to finally like confront these people in court and for
- 5:47Speaker 1: them to go to prison and whatnot. But it was
- 5:50Speaker 1: really incredible. And obviously, you know, people have a lot
- 5:53Speaker 1: to say about the Kardashians and Kim Kardashian. She's definitely
- 5:57Speaker 1: not perfect. But there was one scene in it that
- 5:59Speaker 1: people have probably seen on socials and whatnot, because I
- 6:02Speaker 1: think it was used in some of the trailers and
- 6:04Speaker 1: stuff to promote the episode. But when she showed up
- 6:07Speaker 1: in court, she wore a shit ton of diamonds, I
- 6:11Speaker 1: including a recreation of the diamond ring that they stole.
- 6:16Speaker 2: And I think when I.
- 6:17Speaker 1: First saw that, I kind of was like, oh, like,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I don't know if I would have done that, and
- 6:22Speaker 1: like Chris Jenner also was like, do we think this
- 6:24Speaker 1: is a good idea?
- 6:25Speaker 4: And the prosecutor also told her not to do that.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yeah, Like they were being like, don't do that, it's disrespectful,
- 6:31Speaker 1: And I just really admired her for being like, no,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm going to show up as me and I'm not
- 6:37Speaker 1: going to let you take away a part of me again,
- 6:42Speaker 1: Like why do I have to show up and show
- 6:45Speaker 1: respect to these people who disrespected me? And you know,
- 6:50Speaker 1: obviously not all of us are showing up to a
- 6:53Speaker 1: court case that's going to be splashed over the worldwide
- 6:55Speaker 1: news every single day. But I do think that there
- 6:58Speaker 1: are some things that you know, you'll be like, oh, well,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'll tone myself down because I don't want to be disrespectful,
- 7:04Speaker 1: or I won't wear this because I don't want to
- 7:05Speaker 1: upset someone, or I won't you know, cut bangs because
- 7:08Speaker 1: my boyfriend won't like it. And I just thought that
- 7:11Speaker 1: if in that moment she could do that and be like, no,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I want to show up as myself, it's like a
- 7:16Speaker 1: good reminder for everybody to do that.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, thanks, Kimmy so good.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I saw that, Cliff, and I was also like, she.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Also looked, yeah, amazing.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Okay, my life lesson of the week is does the
- 7:30Speaker 4: perfect toast exist?
- 7:32Speaker 2: Oh?
- 7:33Speaker 4: I have a photo and I want us all to vote.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Okay, okay for me, I'm going to pass the phone
- 7:40Speaker 3: around actually, you guys start beck, you start six. That
- 7:44Speaker 3: was so straightaway, and you looked at me like, obviously
- 7:46Speaker 3: it's sick.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I okay, wow, okay, mine is two?
- 7:57Speaker 5: What what is it?
- 7:59Speaker 2: I like? Really cooked almost burnt ots?
- 8:04Speaker 4: Okay, I I think I'm either three or six.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Six is perfect.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I want it to be soft on the middle, like bread,
- 8:14Speaker 3: but a little crisped on the outside.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah that's not I don't like it like that, but
- 8:20Speaker 2: I understand. But the two tastes tastes burnt. I like it.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I like the smoky kind of flavor. I like that
- 8:28Speaker 1: it's crunchy. Can I be controversial yet brave?
- 8:32Speaker 4: I can sometimes fuck with the nine too.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Ghost toast kind of.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Depends on the topping as well, what you're spreading.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Yeah, I fuck with the nine sometimes.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Is that the one that's barely cool? It's toasted?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Nah, that's basically stale bread like bread like that has
- 8:47Speaker 1: the texture of stale bread.
- 8:49Speaker 4: What's your nightmare toast on this one?
- 8:51Speaker 2: Or don't wait? What is that?
- 8:53Speaker 1: Nine?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Sorry? Nine?
- 8:55Speaker 1: A little bit of butter and jam on, But I
- 8:58Speaker 1: don't fuck with jammy one might one and four a
- 9:02Speaker 1: my nightmare toast?
- 9:03Speaker 5: Burn edges?
- 9:05Speaker 2: I like four as well. Here. If it doesn't come
- 9:08Speaker 2: out like that, I put it in for a bit longer.
- 9:11Speaker 1: This is good because if I ever burn my toast,
- 9:12Speaker 1: then you can just That's exactly what my boyfriend says.
- 9:15Speaker 2: If you so. Is Chris also a six.
- 9:19Speaker 5: No, he's like.
- 9:20Speaker 1: More in the middle, Like he's just like a whatever
- 9:22Speaker 1: sits exactly in the middle of that.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I don't think the perfect toast exists exactly. I think
- 9:26Speaker 2: that proved.
- 9:27Speaker 4: Yeah, does the perfect toast exist?
- 9:29Speaker 3: Have your stay in the comments let us know. Yeah,
- 9:32Speaker 3: we'll post it on in Stadiram and TikTok. So you
- 9:34Speaker 3: guys can give us your thoat fight.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It out all right, Shall we get into the episode? Now,
- 9:39Speaker 1: let's do the damn Okay, twenty twenty six is coming.
- 9:43Speaker 1: We're getting a head start.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I really really like your approach to, you know, kind
- 9:48Speaker 3: of self betterment because it's not about doing a complete
- 9:52Speaker 3: overhaul of like your personality or your habit and like
- 9:56Speaker 3: basically waking up being like, Okay, I'm gonna be this
- 9:59Speaker 3: fit spoke queen that like seven hundred liters of water
- 10:01Speaker 3: a day, works out three times and like never uses
- 10:03Speaker 3: their phone. It's about like the one percent better. So
- 10:07Speaker 3: what are the habits that will make you one percent
- 10:09Speaker 3: better every day? And how do you work to implement them?
- 10:14Speaker 5: So I think it depends on the kind of person
- 10:17Speaker 5: that you are and what it is you're working towards.
- 10:19Speaker 5: So I would argue that my one percent better habits
- 10:21Speaker 5: are completely different to an athlete or a student. So
- 10:25Speaker 5: I would get very clear first and foremost, who do
- 10:28Speaker 5: I want to be or embody in twenty twenty six
- 10:31Speaker 5: and what am I working towards in twenty twenty six?
- 10:33Speaker 5: And then from there I typically choose like three to
- 10:36Speaker 5: find one percent better habits. And what I mean by
- 10:38Speaker 5: that is like your feel good fundamentals, So like, what
- 10:41Speaker 5: are the things if I did every single day non negotiable,
- 10:46Speaker 5: would make me just one percent better in terms of
- 10:49Speaker 5: the way that I feel, or one percent closer to
- 10:52Speaker 5: what it is that I'm working towards.
- 10:54Speaker 4: What's an example of like a one percent habit?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Because obviously I think we can get this thing in
- 10:59Speaker 3: our heads where it's like you think it's one percent,
- 11:01Speaker 3: but really you're going for like forty percent and it's
- 11:04Speaker 3: like it's too much.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Again, it's subjective. I would say yea for myself if
- 11:09Speaker 5: I don't hydrate about the day, I feel discussing, I
- 11:13Speaker 5: have headaches, I am sluggish, I'm not working at my best.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Ability movement in the morning no negotiable for me. If
- 11:20Speaker 5: I don't, I'm grumpy, I don't want to work. It
- 11:22Speaker 5: impacts everything else. So if you can think about your
- 11:24Speaker 5: day to day, what are some things that if you
- 11:27Speaker 5: showed up in every single day? They could be as
- 11:29Speaker 5: simple as anything. It could be making your bed, It
- 11:31Speaker 5: could be getting some sun. It could be connecting with
- 11:33Speaker 5: someone before you start your work or whatever. Like, what
- 11:36Speaker 5: is something that fills up your carp but makes you
- 11:38Speaker 5: also feel like your very best. So I would choose
- 11:42Speaker 5: anywhere between you know, three to five of those, and
- 11:45Speaker 5: then start tracking them in a habit tracker. I believe
- 11:48Speaker 5: habit tracking four five years ago change my life. I
- 11:51Speaker 5: built a brand around it. Get yourself a habit tracker. Literally,
- 11:54Speaker 5: go to pinterests as free ones on Pinterest, print it off,
- 11:57Speaker 5: stick it on your wall, put in your feel good fundamentals,
- 11:59Speaker 5: and trial it for the first couple of weeks of January.
- 12:03Speaker 5: That is, in my opinion, the easiest way to start
- 12:06Speaker 5: building a new habit into your lifestyle.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I agree I like the one percent idea because as well,
- 12:11Speaker 3: it is maybe like just having one extra glass of
- 12:15Speaker 3: water normally wood or like you said, just making your bed.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Making a bed in the morning scratches a part of
- 12:21Speaker 3: my brain that is so disgustingly satisfying. It's amazing. And
- 12:26Speaker 3: when I don't make it, I feel like shit.
- 12:30Speaker 4: But do you know what the best part is when
- 12:32Speaker 4: my boyfriend makes it.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, Like if i've like run, if I've
- 12:36Speaker 3: left before he has and I come.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Home and the bed's been made, I'm like, Yes, who's getting.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Kidding me about me? I'm kidding Hi, mum, that's a joke.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I've never seen a penis in my life.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Okay, you also developed.
- 12:58Speaker 3: A theory which which I want to get into because
- 13:01Speaker 3: that blew up content wise for you as well.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Which collapse for you.
- 13:07Speaker 4: But it's the future you theory? What is the future
- 13:11Speaker 4: you theory?
- 13:11Speaker 5: Okay? So the future You theory was actually inspired by
- 13:14Speaker 5: book I was reading at the time called TENX Is
- 13:16Speaker 5: Easier Than two X, and basically the author talks about
- 13:19Speaker 5: how if you want to tenx your life completely overhaul
- 13:21Speaker 5: your life, you have to make sure that everything in
- 13:24Speaker 5: it around it the way that you think, the way
- 13:26Speaker 5: that you speak, what you eat, who you hang around
- 13:28Speaker 5: has to reflect that ten X version. So I loved
- 13:32Speaker 5: that concept. It was a little bit all or nothing though,
- 13:34Speaker 5: in my opinion. So I was like, how can I
- 13:36Speaker 5: mestion mold this to suit where I'm at in my
- 13:39Speaker 5: life in the season I'm in. And I thought, Okay,
- 13:42Speaker 5: I'm actively always almost always chipping away at building my
- 13:47Speaker 5: future self. How can I start living in accordance to her?
- 13:51Speaker 5: So if I think of like the biggest best version
- 13:53Speaker 5: of future Beck, how does she move, how does she dress?
- 13:57Speaker 5: Who does she hang around? Like everything? How can I
- 14:00Speaker 5: start making every decision with her in mind? You know,
- 14:04Speaker 5: I did a complete audit of who am I hanging around?
- 14:07Speaker 5: What am I? You know, my healthy habits at the moment?
- 14:09Speaker 5: How do I show up in my daily routines?
- 14:11Speaker 1: Like?
- 14:12Speaker 5: It was a huge moment for me to kind of
- 14:13Speaker 5: dissect everything I was doing. And it was as simple
- 14:16Speaker 5: as asking myself, is this in alignment with future you? No?
- 14:20Speaker 5: It actually goodbye, no longer allowed in my life for
- 14:25Speaker 5: my next season. And if it does reflect future me,
- 14:28Speaker 5: we continue that and or we elevate that.
- 14:31Speaker 4: So it's like basically building like the Sims character.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Exactly want to be. That's exactly it. Yeah, and it's
- 14:37Speaker 5: like making that conscious decision as frequently as you can
- 14:40Speaker 5: throughout your day to flick over to that future your mindset, Like,
- 14:44Speaker 5: is this decision I'm about to make, whether it's a
- 14:46Speaker 5: work decision or saying yes to this opportunity? 're going
- 14:49Speaker 5: to hang out with those people? Is this in alignment
- 14:51Speaker 5: with the person I'm actually wanting to be?
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:54Speaker 5: Yes, or no?
- 14:55Speaker 1: Because I think a lot of us have this idea
- 14:57Speaker 1: that the future version of us will be, you know,
- 15:00Speaker 1: magically just is completely different person.
- 15:02Speaker 4: And they'll just exist. Yeah, got a no effort.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's like you need to make steps and
- 15:08Speaker 1: actually action those things to become that person. With that
- 15:12Speaker 1: in mind, what are three things that the chicks can
- 15:16Speaker 1: do to set themselves up for success before twenty twenty six?
- 15:20Speaker 5: Okay, first thing I would do, and this is I
- 15:23Speaker 5: love this stuff type a girly I love it. Let's
- 15:26Speaker 5: ordit how twenty twenty five went. And it doesn't have
- 15:28Speaker 5: to be a ridiculous, crazy spreadsheet and all this data.
- 15:31Speaker 5: It can be as simple as what actually felt really
- 15:34Speaker 5: good in twenty twenty five, What didn't? What come long,
- 15:37Speaker 5: dear hair?
- 15:39Speaker 2: There was a shit? Yeah? So is it kind of
- 15:41Speaker 2: like split it up in just rose cons column?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Like what did I enjoy in twenty twenty five?
- 15:46Speaker 2: And what can I give them? What do I want
- 15:49Speaker 2: to leave? Swipe right and swipe left.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Exactly what are we bringing into twenty twenty six? Who
- 15:54Speaker 5: drained me? What drained me? What did I say yes
- 15:56Speaker 5: to when I really wanted to say no? Like, let's
- 15:59Speaker 5: just have a little think about what worked what did not.
- 16:02Speaker 5: The next thing obviously set your twenty twenty six goals,
- 16:06Speaker 5: which I love. I set anywhere between one to three
- 16:09Speaker 5: personal goals and then professional goals what's good? Yeah, And
- 16:13Speaker 5: then I do like a twelve week plan kind of
- 16:17Speaker 5: approach where I will do like ninety day sprints and
- 16:21Speaker 5: I've rint some repeat to the year's end. So I
- 16:24Speaker 5: will actually do an action plan for the quarter. So
- 16:27Speaker 5: based on this goal, this overarching goal for twenty twenty six,
- 16:30Speaker 5: what is required of me?
- 16:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:32Speaker 5: Every quarter and then rinse and.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Repeat, builds up yep, yeah, yeah, I like that. We
- 16:37Speaker 3: do similar thing.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Kind of like reverse engineering the big goal into bite
- 16:41Speaker 5: sized pieces and then what's required of me? On a
- 16:44Speaker 5: daily basis, weekly, monthly, and then at the end of
- 16:47Speaker 5: that quarter I will audit, reflect, review, rinse, and repeat
- 16:51Speaker 5: until year's end.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I love that.
- 16:53Speaker 4: And what's the third thing you can do before the
- 16:55Speaker 4: end of the year.
- 16:56Speaker 5: Create a vision board?
- 16:58Speaker 2: I love my favorite part, but.
- 17:00Speaker 5: I have I have a little bit of like a
- 17:03Speaker 5: not a cheat code, but my suggestion for twenty twenty six.
- 17:06Speaker 5: I used to fill my vision board full of tangible
- 17:10Speaker 5: material things the car, the business class, flight seat, whatever.
- 17:15Speaker 5: What I did really well last year I'm rinsing and
- 17:17Speaker 5: repeating for this year is I'm inserting images that reflect
- 17:21Speaker 5: the person I want to be, the person I need
- 17:24Speaker 5: to embody so that I can then get the car,
- 17:28Speaker 5: the business you know. So, like there was a lot
- 17:31Speaker 5: of quotes and words and images on my vision board
- 17:35Speaker 5: last year and which I'm going to do this year
- 17:37Speaker 5: that represent things like discipline and confidence and being you know,
- 17:41Speaker 5: a calculated risk taker, and like, you know, words and
- 17:44Speaker 5: quotes that reflect that, because when I look at that,
- 17:47Speaker 5: then I'm like, that's exactly who I need to be
- 17:50Speaker 5: in order to get all the other tangible stuff that
- 17:52Speaker 5: is scattered around here. So do a beautiful blend of
- 17:55Speaker 5: both if you can.
- 17:56Speaker 3: I love that we did like a vision board, not
- 18:00Speaker 3: this year, last year, right, and I didn't do one
- 18:04Speaker 3: this year and I felt that, but yeah I did.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah I did.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I walked into the head of Disney and I said,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I want to make history.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Sorry, sorry vocal stim.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Like, I feel like the year that we did
- 18:27Speaker 1: the vision board, I was able to then use it
- 18:31Speaker 1: as like a thing to be like, well, look at
- 18:35Speaker 1: all the things that I did achieve, right, and it
- 18:38Speaker 1: kind of holds you accountable.
- 18:39Speaker 2: To be able to look back.
- 18:41Speaker 4: And realize like, okay, cool, I had like get a
- 18:44Speaker 4: new car on there, or I had gone a holiday,
- 18:46Speaker 4: or I had all these all these things on there
- 18:49Speaker 4: that I'm like, holy shit, all of those happened.
- 18:52Speaker 1: And like whether or not it's because the vision board
- 18:55Speaker 1: was there and subconciously reminding me, or whether it was
- 18:58Speaker 1: just like working hard or whatever. That is to be
- 19:01Speaker 1: able to have that visually there, to be able to
- 19:02Speaker 1: look at it and be like, wow, I did the
- 19:05Speaker 1: things I wanted to do, and having that visual like
- 19:08Speaker 1: stimulant to be able to recognize that I regret not
- 19:13Speaker 1: making one this year.
- 19:14Speaker 4: So exactly twenty twenty six.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I'm absolutely making a vision board because I think that's
- 19:20Speaker 3: a good thing to reference. Is like doing it one
- 19:23Speaker 3: year and then not doing it and the difference.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Did I feel a difference?
- 19:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I love it?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, case study.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah literally, because I think a lot of us look
- 19:32Speaker 1: at them as tools for motivation, which of course they are,
- 19:36Speaker 1: but also they can be a tool for gratitude too.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's where I felt it, because like, yeah, I
- 19:41Speaker 4: didn't like wake up every day and fucking kiss my
- 19:44Speaker 4: vision board.
- 19:45Speaker 2: But you didn't.
- 19:47Speaker 1: You did?
- 19:48Speaker 4: Was it the photo of me?
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:50Speaker 4: But yeah, like it was a really good tool to
- 19:52Speaker 4: be able to look back on my achievements for the year.
- 19:56Speaker 4: That's what I really enjoyed from it.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Yeah, So like yeah, and it was crazy how many
- 20:00Speaker 3: el was like whoa like all the things.
- 20:03Speaker 2: I was like, magic witch.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yeah, let's talk self sabotage.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Sabotage?
- 20:10Speaker 3: How do we self sabotage our new year goals or
- 20:13Speaker 3: our future?
- 20:13Speaker 2: You not as like a how do we do it?
- 20:17Speaker 4: Is that?
- 20:17Speaker 3: How do we avoid it? How do we avoid self sabotaging?
- 20:20Speaker 3: We know how I can go for that episode?
- 20:24Speaker 4: You don't even that one back where we got that one?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Okay, I think this is this is personal experience with
- 20:33Speaker 5: my goals where I have either set goals that are
- 20:38Speaker 5: so completely unrealistic to the human that I am like,
- 20:41Speaker 5: you're almost setting yourself up to fail. So something I
- 20:45Speaker 5: saw a lot of this year was, and myself included,
- 20:48Speaker 5: every man and his dog got into running, which I love.
- 20:51Speaker 5: But you hear a lot of stories of people saying
- 20:53Speaker 5: I fucking hate running. I've never run before in my
- 20:56Speaker 5: entire life, but I want to run a marathon by February,
- 20:59Speaker 5: and it's generary. So I feel like a lot of
- 21:01Speaker 5: us we have this idea in our brain, but then
- 21:03Speaker 5: we also have an environment that is the complete opposite
- 21:07Speaker 5: or a lifestyle that is a complete opposite. So while
- 21:11Speaker 5: I love being Delulu, I think it's also very important
- 21:14Speaker 5: when it comes to goals that we set goals that
- 21:16Speaker 5: are realistic to either what we have right now or
- 21:19Speaker 5: what we know we will be so certain we can build,
- 21:22Speaker 5: because I feel like we're setting ourselves up a failure
- 21:24Speaker 5: failure otherwise. And the other thing I feel is a
- 21:28Speaker 5: lot of people set goals and then forget about the environment.
- 21:32Speaker 5: So how can you ensure that your environment reflects what
- 21:37Speaker 5: it is that you're working towards. So habit tracking, have
- 21:40Speaker 5: you got apps to hold your hand through that accountability?
- 21:43Speaker 5: Can you get yourself a brick? If you know? One
- 21:44Speaker 5: of your goals for yeah, bricks, get a broock for
- 21:47Speaker 5: twenty twenty six is to be more intentional? Okay, so
- 21:49Speaker 5: what's your environment? Like, what's your screen time?
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:52Speaker 5: What apps are we using? What products or tools can
- 21:55Speaker 5: we insert into our environment to ensure that we are
- 21:58Speaker 5: holding ourselves accountable and you know, meeting ourselves halfway through
- 22:02Speaker 5: those goals? So two parted to that. One make sure
- 22:05Speaker 5: your goals are somewhat realistic to either the lack that
- 22:09Speaker 5: you have right now or one that you know you
- 22:10Speaker 5: can absolutely work towards. And two make sure that you
- 22:15Speaker 5: audit your environment is the environment I show up in
- 22:18Speaker 5: my digital, my physical, my emotional, reflective, Yeah, supportive.
- 22:22Speaker 4: I also think as well. I think it's really important
- 22:26Speaker 4: to make your goals like do you care about it?
- 22:30Speaker 4: Like do you even care about it?
- 22:32Speaker 1: And also like make them fun, Like I feel like
- 22:36Speaker 1: we do miss this element that like you know, yes,
- 22:40Speaker 1: there's really important goals around health and money and fitness,
- 22:43Speaker 1: but I don't think we focus enough on goals that
- 22:45Speaker 1: are like just genuinely fun, Like how am I gonna
- 22:49Speaker 1: enjoy more time with friends? Or like how am I
- 22:53Speaker 1: going to feel like my most like whimsical light self,
- 22:56Speaker 1: Like what are the ways that I'm gonna enjoy my
- 22:58Speaker 1: goals rather than these feeling like a punishment rather than
- 23:02Speaker 1: than being like negative goals, like making them positive and
- 23:05Speaker 1: fun hate the whole thing and being like, you know, well,
- 23:09Speaker 1: how can we create goals that are leaning into the
- 23:12Speaker 1: things that we're good at and the things that we want?
- 23:14Speaker 2: Yeah, completely changing.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Yourself and kind of like what you were saying on
- 23:17Speaker 3: the running thing, like with the internet, fabulous place, but
- 23:22Speaker 3: we can sometimes absorb agreed other people's goals and like
- 23:26Speaker 3: trending goals lack with the running thing, and it's like.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Included became a runner for like three months. I still
- 23:33Speaker 4: love a run, but like, definitely I'm not as like
- 23:36Speaker 4: running as I used to be.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Having goals that like you actually give a.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Shit about rather than absorbing what you think your goals
- 23:45Speaker 3: are supposed to be is also a good way that
- 23:48Speaker 3: you're probably going to stick to it because you'll look.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Forward to it. Yeah, yeah, I agree, Yeah, we need
- 23:53Speaker 2: more fun goals, more fun goals.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Okay, I really want to ask about this because Sala's
- 23:59Speaker 3: probably one of the.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Most morning challenged. I'm gonna say people I have ever met.
- 24:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's hard for you, and it's okay. I don't.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I just don't like waking up, and I never have,
- 24:15Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like I never have.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I don't think I.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Have like a bad morning routine per se, but I
- 24:22Speaker 1: just hate waking up. And it's never no matter what
- 24:26Speaker 1: I do, it's never easier. It doesn't matter how much
- 24:28Speaker 1: sleep I get. You know what time I go to bed.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Howepy girl.
- 24:33Speaker 1: So you did a whole content series on how to
- 24:36Speaker 1: become a morning person?
- 24:38Speaker 2: How do we do this? First of all, bricked get
- 24:42Speaker 2: bricked up?
- 24:43Speaker 3: I love that, Like bricks can be like a joke
- 24:45Speaker 3: to like getting hard.
- 24:47Speaker 2: That's what I saying.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Getting bricked and then like bricking it is like shit,
- 24:52Speaker 3: like you're shitting it, like you're like fuck, the opportunities
- 24:54Speaker 3: are endless here getting bricks.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I love it.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Morning routine horny for goals, that's the title of the episode.
- 25:04Speaker 5: If you don't want to be a morning girly, we
- 25:07Speaker 5: don't have to be a morning girly. I think that's
- 25:10Speaker 5: and really relating back to what you said, Like, sometimes
- 25:12Speaker 5: we absorb what people are doing, like our favorite influenzo
- 25:16Speaker 5: or our favorite fitspo or whatever, like oh, they're a
- 25:18Speaker 5: morning girly or they're a marathon runner. Let me do that. Yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 5: it doesn't actually have to be that way. However, if
- 25:23Speaker 5: you want to be an early bird, a morning girly,
- 25:26Speaker 5: per se, I always recommend trying to make your morning
- 25:30Speaker 5: routine as fun as you possibly can, something that you
- 25:34Speaker 5: look forward to. So tying it back to my feel
- 25:37Speaker 5: good fundamentals, I insert all my feel good fundamentals first
- 25:42Speaker 5: thing in the morning. So I wake up, I go
- 25:45Speaker 5: down to the beach, and I like connect with my
- 25:47Speaker 5: husband and my puppies. We go for a walk. That's
- 25:49Speaker 5: a huge feel good fundamental for me.
- 25:50Speaker 4: Come can I come for your feel good fundamentals?
- 25:52Speaker 5: Please do.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I'm gonna be at the beach that heavac.
- 25:56Speaker 5: I'm here, Puffy go for a big walk, like four k,
- 26:02Speaker 5: five k walk by the beach, Like I look forward
- 26:04Speaker 5: to that every single day. Like the moment I wake up,
- 26:07Speaker 5: I'm like, I'm so excited for this.
- 26:08Speaker 1: More.
- 26:08Speaker 5: What times do you wake up at the moment it's
- 26:10Speaker 5: around four No, it's like the alarm goes off and
- 26:15Speaker 5: then like, I'll get up.
- 26:17Speaker 2: What time do you go to bed?
- 26:18Speaker 5: Eight o'clock? And this is look back just a grandma, Sorry,
- 26:25Speaker 5: this is my god. This is also part of the
- 26:27Speaker 5: morning routine. Okay, what time do you guys go to bed?
- 26:29Speaker 5: This is like like.
- 26:30Speaker 2: A leven I go to better like midnight consistently. Sorry,
- 26:34Speaker 2: I'm still before.
- 26:36Speaker 5: I am like I love that.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:39Speaker 5: Yeah, when I sleep past six o'clock, I'm like, oh.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yeah, good body, your body clock would just be day.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yep. So the alarm goes off at four
- 26:49Speaker 5: and then we get up around you know, four fifteen
- 26:51Speaker 5: down by the beach at summrise.
- 26:53Speaker 4: How beautiful I wish.
- 26:55Speaker 5: I was like, it's honestly my favorite part of every
- 26:58Speaker 5: single day. And I think that is the key. Just
- 27:00Speaker 5: showing up consistently is I mean, that's why you.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Can wake up early, because you're like, I want to
- 27:04Speaker 4: go do this thing.
- 27:05Speaker 5: I'm exactactly, and then I've condensed all my feel good
- 27:08Speaker 5: fundamental habits, my one percent habits. First thing in the morning,
- 27:11Speaker 5: I am so fucking excited to get home, eat breakfast,
- 27:14Speaker 5: and start work. I'm like, I'm ready for the day.
- 27:17Speaker 5: I am happy, I'm fueled, I'm caffeinated, I've spent time
- 27:20Speaker 5: with my husband and my puppies by the beach, Like,
- 27:22Speaker 5: how can you not know?
- 27:23Speaker 2: It's very grounding.
- 27:24Speaker 3: It's very like not letting a three pm marketing email
- 27:28Speaker 3: stress me out you've done your thing that kind of
- 27:31Speaker 3: grounds you, and being like, Okay, this is what I'm
- 27:33Speaker 3: living for. I don't live to have like a KPI
- 27:38Speaker 3: set for like twenty percent audience growth or what like,
- 27:41Speaker 3: you know.
- 27:41Speaker 2: What I mean?
- 27:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:43Speaker 5: And then another thing, also, I've been bricked.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Rick's bricked.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Yeah, no one's bothering me. Yeah, no, slack channel nothing.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Do you sleep with your phone in your room?
- 27:54Speaker 5: I do?
- 27:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I do, but it's bricked.
- 27:56Speaker 5: It's bricked.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Okay, it's brick.
- 28:00Speaker 4: I'm buying. I'm gonna be breacked up after this.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I'm breaked up right now. I'm kidding.
- 28:05Speaker 5: My only other tip as well with morning routines is
- 28:07Speaker 5: I also feel, especially when you're first getting into wanting
- 28:10Speaker 5: to get up early earlier. Sorry, it's like starting the
- 28:13Speaker 5: night before, So it's like, how can you remove that
- 28:17Speaker 5: friction when you wake up and like, oh fuck, I
- 28:19Speaker 5: haven't got any clothes, picked up my walk. Oh where
- 28:21Speaker 5: are my sneakers?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Fuck?
- 28:22Speaker 5: I just won't go. Yeah, So I'll set up my
- 28:24Speaker 5: active wear and my sneakers the night before, and then
- 28:27Speaker 5: I'll obviously be in bed, like eight o'clock, eighteen thirty.
- 28:30Speaker 5: What time did you fall asleep? I fall asleep quite quickly.
- 28:34Speaker 5: Maybe nine wow? Nine thirty No, probably not even nine thirty.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I was gonna say that probably wouldn't even be
- 28:41Speaker 2: enough sleep. Wow.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Sometimes God to spare that like one am. Yeah, not
- 28:46Speaker 1: laying there with like existential dread.
- 28:48Speaker 2: That's just man. Okay.
- 28:52Speaker 4: I want to get into our next topic because twenty
- 28:55Speaker 4: twenty six is the year of the Sunday game plan.
- 28:59Speaker 4: It is slut for this love a Sunday.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Game plan and Sunday scaries it out. Sunday game plan
- 29:05Speaker 3: is in. So again, you recently did content around this,
- 29:09Speaker 3: tell us what's the Sunday game plan.
- 29:12Speaker 5: The Sunday game plan is basically your little action plan
- 29:16Speaker 5: or your to do list that you are going to
- 29:18Speaker 5: tick off and complete every Sunday that is going to
- 29:22Speaker 5: set you up for the week ahead or even just Monday. Again,
- 29:26Speaker 5: this is going to be really dependent on who you are,
- 29:28Speaker 5: what you do for work, whether you're a mom, business,
- 29:30Speaker 5: own or whatever. It's going to be dependent. But what
- 29:33Speaker 5: are the things that you can do on a Sunday
- 29:36Speaker 5: that come Monday you're like, fuck, I'm ready for the week.
- 29:38Speaker 5: I don't even have to worry about it. So I
- 29:41Speaker 5: used to before I implemented like a Sunday game plan,
- 29:43Speaker 5: I would wake up on a Monday and be like, oh,
- 29:46Speaker 5: what have I got coming out this week? Holifark like
- 29:48Speaker 5: we're having a meeting, like let me just double check,
- 29:50Speaker 5: and it would just be I'd be scrambling Monday morning.
- 29:52Speaker 5: So every Sunday I food prep. I don't meal prep.
- 29:54Speaker 5: I food prep so I chop up on my veggies
- 29:56Speaker 5: and my meat. And I hate meal prepping. I can't
- 29:58Speaker 5: eat like food write the same meal, so do that.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Look at my calendar what's coming up Monday and the
- 30:04Speaker 5: rest of the week. Then I write Mondays to do list.
- 30:06Speaker 5: I don't have to worry about it. I can come
- 30:08Speaker 5: straight into my office on Monday morning. I know exactly
- 30:11Speaker 5: what to do. It is time blocked, it is chunked,
- 30:13Speaker 5: it is ready to go. I will do a house reset,
- 30:17Speaker 5: not a ridiculous one. Just wash the sheets, change the
- 30:19Speaker 5: bed sheets, whatever that makes me feel really really good. Yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 5: and just like little odd jobs around the home, predominantly
- 30:27Speaker 5: that come Monday, I've walked downstairs to a clean kitchen,
- 30:31Speaker 5: my to do list is done, the house smells nice,
- 30:34Speaker 5: fresh laundry.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I feel like I'm in a dream scale that it's
- 30:38Speaker 3: the best feelingly.
- 30:39Speaker 5: And do you know what, though a lot of people
- 30:41Speaker 5: like your Sunday game plan may be doing absolutely fucking nothing.
- 30:44Speaker 5: I got a lot of comments on that video saying
- 30:47Speaker 5: my Sunday is to just do absolutely nothing and rest
- 30:50Speaker 5: like that is my game plan. That is perfectly fine too.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Do you know what? You can also have the best
- 30:55Speaker 2: of both worlds.
- 30:56Speaker 3: And I am reaching the final form of becoming my
- 30:58Speaker 3: mother because you you know how like on a Saturday morning,
- 31:01Speaker 3: your mum would wake up and you would hear her
- 31:02Speaker 3: banging around downstairs and he'd be like, and you'd be like,
- 31:05Speaker 3: stay in bed, stay in bed, otherwise she's going to
- 31:07Speaker 3: make me do the Saturday clean right. These chores, right,
- 31:11Speaker 3: It's always crazy to me when I meet someone and
- 31:12Speaker 3: they're like, what.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Do you mean chores? And they didn't have chores growing up, Like,
- 31:16Speaker 4: what do you mean your chores? And clean the bathroom?
- 31:18Speaker 3: Wash your house crazy to me, each their own lovely
- 31:22Speaker 3: for them, but yeah, the Saturday clean.
- 31:24Speaker 4: And you can hear Mom banging around down there. You
- 31:26Speaker 4: can smell the jif in the jif.
- 31:30Speaker 3: She's rocking and rolling, and she'd be like, go to
- 31:31Speaker 3: your chores and be like, I'll do them. It's Saturday,
- 31:33Speaker 3: Like i'll do them when I like, i'll do them today.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I'll do them in the afternoon. Procrastinate a queen. And
- 31:39Speaker 4: Mom would always be like, no, because you get them
- 31:41Speaker 4: done now and then you can enjoy your afternoon and
- 31:44Speaker 4: you get to enjoy it in a clean house. And
- 31:46Speaker 4: I'll be like you just I prefer to do reaching
- 31:49Speaker 4: my final form. I'm like, if doing everything in the
- 31:52Speaker 4: morning to then be able to sit down and click
- 31:57Speaker 4: play on the TV and look at your space that
- 32:00Speaker 4: is so clean, if I could bottle that and sell
- 32:04Speaker 4: it a millionaire, like it's the best feeling in the world.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Well, that's kind of what the Sunday game plan is, right,
- 32:12Speaker 1: because then you're doing all of that sort of like
- 32:14Speaker 1: annoying admin, getting it out of the way on a
- 32:17Speaker 1: Sunday so that you can set yourself up and enjoy
- 32:20Speaker 1: your week.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I also think you can adapt that to whatever suits
- 32:24Speaker 4: your like schedule absolutely, So for example, I love doing
- 32:28Speaker 4: that on a Friday afternoon.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, I just realized how like I'm hot
- 32:33Speaker 3: I am now like being like I love cleaning my
- 32:35Speaker 3: apartment on a Friday night.
- 32:36Speaker 2: What the fuck happens?
- 32:38Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's thirty.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Yeah, we used to have fake tan sheets and now
- 32:44Speaker 3: I'm cleaning Jesus Christ, that's how, you know. But I
- 32:48Speaker 3: love like a Friday afternoon at like four o'clock doing
- 32:53Speaker 3: the apartment clean and then like having the everything shower,
- 32:58Speaker 3: ordering the ubrees, and then sitting down to watch my teley.
- 33:03Speaker 3: It's honestly so good. And then Saturday morning you wake
- 33:05Speaker 3: up and it's all clean and you don't have to
- 33:07Speaker 3: do chores on the weekend.
- 33:08Speaker 4: So yeah, it's.
- 33:09Speaker 5: Literally like really dependent on your schedule. I know a
- 33:11Speaker 5: lot of people who also have like a midwek reset
- 33:13Speaker 5: as well. Yeah, they get it done in a week.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I think I need both need like the beginning and
- 33:19Speaker 1: then middle and like different things.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Yes, because you're a clean freak, I can't.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Deal with the clutter. You said that you're type A.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Have you always been really good at like habit tracking
- 33:32Speaker 1: and really organized, or is this something that you have
- 33:35Speaker 1: like built upon us, you've grown up and realized what
- 33:37Speaker 1: works for you.
- 33:37Speaker 5: No, I've always been like that. Yeah, I've always been
- 33:41Speaker 5: a little bit weird. Weird, like with like to do
- 33:47Speaker 5: lists and ticking things.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Off and like once you get a hit of the
- 33:50Speaker 3: super gene, you're like, oh, that's good.
- 33:52Speaker 2: It's like Bruce and Funny Nemo. Yeah it smells.
- 33:55Speaker 4: That's like when you like tick off something, You're like.
- 33:58Speaker 2: That's good. Yeah that's me. Yeah.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Yeah, Bruce in finding Nemo is me after I complete
- 34:06Speaker 4: the task.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I can really resonate with that. Yeah.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:10Speaker 1: To wrap up the episode, we always ask our guess
- 34:13Speaker 1: what their biggest life lesson was, but I would love
- 34:15Speaker 1: to know for you.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Has there been a quote.
- 34:19Speaker 3: A learning or a life lesson that completely altered your
- 34:22Speaker 3: brain chemistry this year?
- 34:25Speaker 5: Yes, it was a recent one. It was when I
- 34:29Speaker 5: this was like literally two weeks ago. I had a
- 34:32Speaker 5: really big opportunity arise, a little bit scary, a little
- 34:36Speaker 5: bit of a risk, if you will, And I was
- 34:38Speaker 5: saying to Zach, Oh my god, my Husband'szach, what if
- 34:40Speaker 5: this doesn't work out? Like this is a huge investment
- 34:43Speaker 5: of my time and money and what have you. And
- 34:45Speaker 5: he looked at me and he said, Rebecca, fortune favors
- 34:50Speaker 5: the brave. So he said, if you are going to
- 34:54Speaker 5: get whatever it is that you want in this life,
- 34:57Speaker 5: because you are brave enough and you know, fearless enough
- 35:01Speaker 5: to go after what you want, the opportunity, the success,
- 35:04Speaker 5: the abundance of freedom, everything is going to favor you
- 35:08Speaker 5: taking this risk. And I was like, I'm going to
- 35:11Speaker 5: implement that whenever I think about, you know, guest speaking
- 35:14Speaker 5: or taking a big opportunity or taking on a big project.
- 35:18Speaker 5: Fortune favors of brave.
- 35:19Speaker 4: I love that and it's a classic for a reason.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but it's a good.
- 35:25Speaker 5: I had never heard it before and I really, oh
- 35:28Speaker 5: my god, I love that in my life.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 35:31Speaker 5: I was like, I need to implement this or remember
- 35:34Speaker 5: this whenever I get a little bit scared or risk
- 35:37Speaker 5: comes about, and I'm like, oh, well, the payoff fortunes
- 35:39Speaker 5: is going to favor you.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Yes, And it might not do it straight away, but
- 35:43Speaker 4: it will in the end.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, absolutely always. Oh my gosh, Well, thank you
- 35:47Speaker 1: so much for coming on the show. I know that
- 35:50Speaker 1: we both feel incredibly motivated now and I'm sure the
- 35:52Speaker 1: chicks do as well. But where can the chicks find
- 35:55Speaker 1: you and learn more about you and what you do?
- 35:56Speaker 2: Uh?
- 35:57Speaker 5: Just Bex Stewart on Instagram and TikTok.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Amazing show notes, Thank you so much and also be
