Transcript
- 0:02S1: A listener production to cuddly boys overloading the bromance quota meter.
- 0:08S2: They're so cute.
- 0:09S1: It's Matt and Alex. All day. Breakfast.
- 0:12S3: Well, yes. Alex Dyson is here. Had a weekend in
- 0:16S3: the sun at the beach in sunny Warrnambool. But I'm
- 0:19S3: hoping that out of the ashes of the cyclone. Alfred,
- 0:25S3: do we have a Matt Okine?
- 0:27S4: Oh, man. I gotta tell you, I. I was not
- 0:31S4: loving the weekend at all. I've got plenty, plenty to
- 0:34S4: update you on, but I think for now, just to
- 0:36S4: begin the show with something a little bit lighter. Let's
- 0:39S4: all give a big shout out to National Meatball Day.
- 0:42S3: Oh well, you'd think we're not talking about weather, but
- 0:45S3: ever since the film cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
- 0:47S3: came out, that is very weather based. No shout outs
- 0:50S3: to anyone celebrating. I think National Meatball day in the States. Matt,
- 0:55S3: you are. You're a big fan of the meatball.
- 0:58S4: I, I don't have enough, to be honest. They. I
- 1:03S4: tried to get Sophia onto it, but she doesn't like it.
- 1:05S4: But then if she has spaghetti with mints, she likes that.
- 1:10S4: And I'm like, kid, it's the same thing. It's just
- 1:13S4: one is just bunched up together, like, come on.
- 1:16S3: Yeah, but you, you do know the same way that
- 1:19S3: brown M&Ms taste worse than the other colors. Um, the
- 1:23S3: color and shape of things, Matt affects the flavor. That's
- 1:27S3: why red cars go faster. It's the UN universal truths
- 1:31S3: of our time.
- 1:32S4: Oh, well. Shout out to everyone enjoying our National Meatball Day.
- 1:36S4: Let's dive into some recaps about the wild weather across
- 1:40S4: the weekend. This is Matt and Alex all day breakfast.
- 1:41S4: Hope you're having a good one.
- 1:42S5: Let's get this show on the road.
- 1:44S6: Let's go. Here we go. Here we go, here we go.
- 1:47S7: Gotta tell you, I was glued to.
- 1:49S3: The algorithm that was showing the sand washing away on
- 1:53S3: the Gold Coast beach. Nice. And. Yeah, just feeling scared
- 1:58S3: for everyone I knew on the Gold Coast, including Annalise's
- 2:00S3: mum and brother living up there. We were getting updates.
- 2:03S3: Matt Okine but you were living it in the. In
- 2:06S3: the heart of Brissy I guess. Saturday. Finally a good
- 2:10S3: excuse not to go look at properties. Um, but tell
- 2:13S3: us how. How did you go?
- 2:16S4: Mate, I did feel sorry for anyone who was planning
- 2:18S4: on buying or selling a house this weekend. I know
- 2:20S4: that there's much more things to, you know, bigger things
- 2:23S4: to worry about.
- 2:24S3: But with the auctions cancelled on Saturday, everything seemed to
- 2:27S3: be shutting. What was going on?
- 2:28S4: I reckon you could have picked up a bargain if
- 2:31S4: you did like it was. It was. Only the bravest.
- 2:35S4: Would have been putting their hand up for that, and
- 2:37S4: then you would have had to deal with the fact
- 2:38S4: that there was a chance that the roof on the
- 2:40S4: house that you just bought was gonna disappear.
- 2:43S3: Yeah. Going, going, gone. When it comes to the roof
- 2:46S3: of the property you're bidding on. Um, so how how
- 2:50S3: fast did the winds get? How much rain was falling
- 2:52S3: on you? How did the family go in these tricky circumstances, Matt?
- 2:55S4: Well, look, it's no secret that Cyclone Alfred was a
- 2:58S4: bit of a one minute man on his first appearance. And,
- 3:02S4: you know, it was a very quick little play with, with,
- 3:07S4: with Brisbane and then and then it was over and
- 3:09S4: everyone sort of thought, oh, is that it? Is that
- 3:11S4: all you got? But I tell you what, he went
- 3:14S4: hard uh, on Sunday like it was pouring for like
- 3:20S4: 12 hours straight. There was water like pouring underneath our house,
- 3:26S4: pouring in from the neighbour's side. Our pool is absolutely
- 3:30S4: disgusting because there's this sort of piece of land that
- 3:33S4: they're building a house on a couple of doors up,
- 3:35S4: and it's just red dirt, and all of that dirt
- 3:39S4: is now at the bottom of our pool there. Like
- 3:42S4: I had the broom out. I was sweeping water away
- 3:45S4: from the from underneath the house. It was it was
- 3:48S4: so stressful, man. Like I because I tell you what,
- 3:51S4: I have lived, I have lived the last 17 years
- 3:55S4: not owning a home and not owning the home that
- 3:57S4: I lived in. And so I've lived in a unit
- 4:00S4: these things have never like it's never affected me.
- 4:03S3: Body corporate. Sort that out.
- 4:05S4: Yeah, exactly. And now it's like I'm the body corporate.
- 4:09S4: It's so stressful. Like suddenly you're realizing how things can
- 4:12S4: just disappear in a second and and. Yeah, so I
- 4:16S4: didn't I didn't enjoy it one bit. We we disconnected
- 4:19S4: all the gas and everything, um, for the last couple
- 4:22S4: of days. So we're only cooking on a barbecue, and
- 4:24S4: that's pretty pointless when there's 60ml of rain tumbling down
- 4:28S4: on you at all times. We've got pots of water
- 4:31S4: on the stove just in case the water cuts out.
- 4:35S4: Belinda's mum in Ballina has been without power for two
- 4:39S4: days a day and a half, so we don't know
- 4:41S4: whether everything in the fridge is going to go. It's
- 4:44S4: like it's it's the uncertainty. Alex Dyson that is the problem.
- 4:48S3: Goodness me. Yeah. So you you didn't lose power in
- 4:52S3: your suburb in in Brissy.
- 4:54S4: No, there's some people did and some people didn't. and
- 4:57S4: that's why we were kind of on edge. We had
- 4:58S4: all this food in the freezer. We're like delegating, okay?
- 5:01S4: If the power goes, we're starting with the homemade sausage rolls.
- 5:05S4: They got frozen a few weeks ago. We're moving on
- 5:08S4: to the spag bol. The mince is going to be
- 5:11S4: the last one to get turned into a burger. We
- 5:13S4: don't know what we're getting, so.
- 5:15S3: Flat and round is okay for mince but spherical like
- 5:19S3: a globe?
- 5:20S4: Yes.
- 5:21S3: That's the Sophia.
- 5:22S4: But um. But no. And also we you know, it
- 5:25S4: was Belinda's birthday on Friday, so we had this, um,
- 5:28S4: dinner planned with, with a couple of friends in the Valley,
- 5:32S4: which was this. I talked about it before on the podcast,
- 5:35S4: but it's like a six seater special little Japanese restaurant,
- 5:38S4: invite only.
- 5:39S3: Yeah, I remember you mentioning that.
- 5:41S4: We made the booking in October, but of course, Saturday
- 5:45S4: night rolls around and they're like, look, we we can
- 5:49S4: be open if you want. And we were like, we
- 5:53S4: are friends live in a flood zone. So they weren't
- 5:56S4: they weren't really amped at the idea of going into
- 5:59S4: dinner while their house could end up, you know, halfway
- 6:02S4: under water. Plus, our babysitter for the night had to
- 6:05S4: drive 40 minutes from the coast coastal area, so she
- 6:09S4: wasn't exactly jumping out of her boots to come and
- 6:13S4: look after Sophia while we're eating is, you know, ten
- 6:16S4: course meal. So we had to cancel it. But the
- 6:18S4: good news is we have a new reservation. Belinda's birthday
- 6:22S4: dinner will now be in August, so that's exciting. We.
- 6:25S4: We've gotten.
- 6:26S3: Well.
- 6:27S4: Just a little six month delay. That's fine.
- 6:29S3: Well, it sounds like I was somewhat similar to the
- 6:32S3: position I found myself in, where a lot of the
- 6:34S3: rumor mill was heating up last week that Prime Minister
- 6:37S3: Anthony Albanese would call the Australian election this weekend to
- 6:42S3: make it an April election with, you know, and it's
- 6:45S3: obviously good looking after the people of Queensland, our fellow Australians,
- 6:48S3: and concentrating on that and not distracting it with, you know,
- 6:50S3: this bloody popularity contest that comes around every three years,
- 6:54S3: going to push that back a bit longer. That means
- 6:56S3: the campaign Meadow keen are rebooking once again the ten
- 7:00S3: course menu.
- 7:00S4: You've got to keep doing it. But do you know
- 7:03S4: what was so annoying to me? Like there's all this
- 7:06S4: discussion about how this cyclone was man made. Was there?
- 7:10S4: And that I think.
- 7:11S3: Like we.
- 7:11S4: We have you not.
- 7:13S3: Go along with different internet forums. Matt Okine when it comes.
- 7:16S4: Have you not heard about this? People people are genuinely
- 7:20S4: on Facebook claiming that this cyclone was man made by
- 7:25S4: the US for some reason, right? But it also goes
- 7:29S4: into cahoots with the idea that the Australian government is
- 7:32S4: using it as a political tactic, and that they were
- 7:36S4: working in the pockets of, of Bom, the Bureau of Meteorology. Right.
- 7:42S3: Oh, boy.
- 7:42S4: How I got to tell you, if you do get in,
- 7:46S4: you know, elected to the seat of Wannon. Can you
- 7:49S4: give us a few months of sunshine, please, if that's
- 7:52S4: the power that you've got as an elected politician in
- 7:56S4: this country?
- 7:57S3: Yeah. Getting the weather machine up and going. We could
- 8:00S3: give the farmers a bit more rain down here if
- 8:02S3: I was doing that one. Goodness. Um. Look.
- 8:05S4: So.
- 8:06S3: Yeah, it's it's a stressful time. People would be stressed
- 8:09S3: in many different ways. And I'm very glad that you
- 8:11S3: are safe and sound. And the family is safe and sound.
- 8:14S3: Matt Okine. A very difficult time for southern Queensland and
- 8:18S3: northern New South Wales people.
- 8:20S4: Yes, yes, we are bone dry, safe and sound. But
- 8:23S4: I want to hear what you got up to over
- 8:26S4: the weekend. So let's dive into it. Hey.
- 8:29S8: La la la la la la la la la la
- 8:32S8: la la la. Yeah.
- 8:34S3: I started a new job on the weekend.
- 8:36S4: No. All right, come on. Let me let me add it.
- 8:40S3: Well, it sort of started with an old job. An
- 8:43S3: old job back in the day of, um, emceeing at
- 8:46S3: music festivals because a ripper music festival here in south
- 8:50S3: west Victoria, the Port Fairy Folk festival. Absolutely iconic weekend
- 8:56S3: every year um, was happening, was lucky enough to go
- 8:59S3: along and got given the task. Matt Okine to introduce
- 9:02S3: the one and only Missy Higgins.
- 9:05S4: Oh my god.
- 9:05S3: Stage.
- 9:07S4: Queen.
- 9:07S3: I know, and it's a second trip to the southwest
- 9:10S3: recently because she popped up with G flip at the
- 9:12S3: triple J one night stand down in Warrnambool last year. Okay,
- 9:16S3: now back in Port Fairy, which was so sick. Um,
- 9:20S3: absolutely smashing it. Can you believe like Sound of White
- 9:23S3: came out 20 years ago?
- 9:25S4: Yeah. Belinda went to the, um, that that the 20
- 9:28S4: year storytelling session of it.
- 9:31S3: Really? How was that?
- 9:32S4: Oh, I loved it. Loved every single second of it.
- 9:34S4: She was talking all about, you know, some of the classics, um,
- 9:37S4: the special two, you know, talking about what that song
- 9:40S4: was about. Uh, yeah. Though there was some really good
- 9:42S4: stories coming out of it. I was very jealous.
- 9:44S3: The brilliant thing about emceeing, and I recommend anyone else
- 9:47S3: go into it, people remember always remember you did a
- 9:51S3: really good job the less that you do, um, the
- 9:55S3: quicker you go from lights going down and Missy Higgins
- 9:59S3: coming on. The better. Oh, he did a great job. Like,
- 10:02S3: I could just walk out and say Missy Higgins and
- 10:05S3: then walk off. And people were like, brilliant.
- 10:07S4: Yeah. No one. No one's there to hear you. They
- 10:09S4: want Missy.
- 10:10S3: Exactly right. So that was wonderful. But I did start
- 10:14S3: a new job as well the next night because finally,
- 10:19S3: after months of getting boxes ticked, photos checked off, bank
- 10:26S3: accounts and things and everything, I did my first ever
- 10:32S3: shift as an Uber driver.
- 10:35S4: Did you really?
- 10:38S3: Yep.
- 10:38S4: Now, is this in response? Is this somewhat of a
- 10:42S4: boycott of the taxis as well? Is this why you
- 10:46S4: did that? Because. No, no, I saw.
- 10:48S3: It is awful.
- 10:50S4: Story. Awful story that came out of Adelaide with a
- 10:53S4: taxi driver and, um, and a Aussie radio host, Ali Clarke,
- 10:58S4: who got some terrible things said to her by her
- 11:01S4: taxi driver because she wanted to go a short fare
- 11:04S4: and he refused. So he was telling her to get
- 11:06S4: out of her car and then telling her it's really,
- 11:09S4: honestly awful stuff. He's since been fired, but I've got
- 11:13S4: to tell you, it keeps happening. I don't know, I
- 11:16S4: don't know how many stories need to keep coming out
- 11:18S4: until the actual industry gets a wake up call.
- 11:22S3: Well, I yeah, I mean, it's quite short trips around Waterville,
- 11:26S3: so I wasn't making absolute bank, but I went down,
- 11:29S3: found my first people, picked them up, go for a
- 11:32S3: bit and then I had to they asked the question,
- 11:35S3: how long have you been doing this? And I'm like, well,
- 11:37S3: I'm going to be honest with you guys. This is
- 11:38S3: my very first one. And they all went, hey, it
- 11:40S3: was like two parents and two kids who were in
- 11:42S3: Warrnambool for a tennis tournament. We had a great chat
- 11:45S3: as we went around, so that was good. I dropped
- 11:46S3: him at the at the wait.
- 11:48S4: Wait wait wait wait wait, why are you doing this?
- 11:51S4: Is this just to meet people?
- 11:53S3: It's two pronged. Um, running as an independent. I mean,
- 11:57S3: it's a it's a 12 month thing I'm doing for $0.
- 12:00S3: You know, because I think it'll be, um, I think
- 12:04S3: it'll be good for the area and the country having
- 12:07S3: independence in parliament. But you do have to a lot
- 12:10S3: of a lot of meat, a lot of people, and
- 12:12S3: spend a lot of time. I'm like, well, maybe I
- 12:13S3: could combine meeting people with, you know, getting six bucks
- 12:18S3: to drop them at the pub. So now I got
- 12:21S3: to tell you and I got to tell you, it
- 12:22S3: is a game changer, man. The amount of people I
- 12:26S3: met are really nice. And particularly, you know, it's usually
- 12:29S3: with these kind of things. It's younger people on the apps.
- 12:32S3: So I met a couple of dudes going somewhere. He's like, oh,
- 12:35S3: can you drop my mate here and then take me
- 12:36S3: to the pub? I can pay you cash afterwards. I'm like, bro,
- 12:38S3: just don't worry about it. I'll just it's on my
- 12:40S3: way home. I'll drop you. He's like, thanks so much, man.
- 12:43S3: And he found out I'm running for Parliament. And it's
- 12:44S3: that thing where, like, I drop him off and he
- 12:46S3: just go into the pub because he's meeting friends, so
- 12:49S3: he'll go like, oh, guess who just dropped me off
- 12:51S3: and tell the friends like.
- 12:52S4: Hey.
- 12:53S3: So dude.
- 12:54S4: This is unbelievable.
- 12:55S3: This is this is my new hobby. And it's like exciting. Like,
- 12:59S3: when the thing goes off, you're like, oh, there's a ride.
- 13:01S3: So I like, press the thing and I go, I
- 13:03S3: go and pick him up, which was great. But, um,
- 13:05S3: I was like, I'll do one more because it was
- 13:08S3: just around Warrnambool. It's like 5 or 6 minutes to
- 13:10S3: go different places. But then there was one person trying
- 13:12S3: to find them, like I called him because I couldn't
- 13:14S3: find where they were, like, oh, we're at the bottle shop.
- 13:16S3: And I went around to the bottle shop and I
- 13:17S3: picked up the two drunkest people in Australia. A daughter
- 13:23S3: and a mum that had been at a hen's party.
- 13:26S3: And the it was the most entertaining. And like, I
- 13:31S3: was like, oh, this could go south because like, oh,
- 13:33S3: we've lost our thing. We had the bottles, it's in
- 13:35S3: the dark. They got the phone cameras on. I was like,
- 13:37S3: can you put on some music? Put on Dom Dolla?
- 13:39S3: And I'm like, I'm like, oh, here we go. And
- 13:42S3: then I go, Hey Siri, play Dom Dolla miracle maker.
- 13:45S3: And they're like, you know, the song? And then they
- 13:47S3: were gone 20 minutes out of town. So I drove
- 13:49S3: him 20 minutes out of town and dropped him off. And, um, yeah,
- 13:53S3: it was just quite an entertaining evening, really.
- 13:57S4: Now, now, just out of interest, how did you how
- 14:00S4: much money did you make?
- 14:02S3: All right. I've done a total of ten trips, and
- 14:04S3: I have made $105.97 in an evening. Ten trips.
- 14:10S4: And when did you finish? When did you wrap up
- 14:12S4: for the night?
- 14:13S3: Um, I got home about 11:15, I think, because after
- 14:15S3: that one I'm like, oh, it could be diminishing returns
- 14:18S3: here because 100 bucks us. I don't know how much
- 14:21S3: a steam clean to get a bit of vomit out
- 14:23S3: of the out of the Uber is. But if all
- 14:27S3: if if I took one more, I'd just lost it all.
- 14:30S4: You you stood on the edge of the WWE rink
- 14:33S4: and took one look and turned around and went back inside.
- 14:36S4: They Undertaker hadn't even come out yet.
- 14:40S3: But it was really, really great. Everyone was really nice.
- 14:43S3: So just keep an eye out for me on the, uh,
- 14:44S3: the roads of Warrnambool. If you need a lift somewhere.
- 14:47S9: Order up.
- 14:54S10: Just how you like it. Perfect.
- 14:58S11: Click click click click click click click.
- 15:03S1: Fish. Click fish.
- 15:04S7: Yes.
- 15:05S3: Producer James back for a little bit of click fish.
- 15:08S3: I mean Matt and I have told us told everyone
- 15:11S3: about our weekends. James. But what did you get up
- 15:14S3: to over the last couple of days?
- 15:16S4: Uh, I've.
- 15:16S12: Got a new hobby in my late 30s. I'm brewing
- 15:20S12: my own kombucha.
- 15:21S4: Oh, wow.
- 15:23S3: On the booch.
- 15:24S12: On the booch.
- 15:25S4: How do you. How do you start, mate?
- 15:26S3: Oh, I've seen someone's kombucha. And the scoby gives me nightmares.
- 15:31S3: That's all I'll.
- 15:32S4: Say.
- 15:33S12: The scoby is funky, I gotta say. Uh, so it's
- 15:37S12: similar to, you know, your sourdough. You have a starter,
- 15:40S12: you buy the Scoby, which is, you know, where all
- 15:42S12: the good bacteria comes from. You chuck that in a
- 15:45S12: big jar.
- 15:46S3: It's like a floppy, white creamy, congealed blob of bacteria
- 15:51S3: that you put in the jar.
- 15:52S12: Yeah.
- 15:53S4: And their hotels, aren't they? You have Scoby hotels a scoby.
- 15:56S4: Sounds like something you need to show your doctor. You
- 15:58S4: know what I mean? It's like you should like. It
- 16:00S4: should be like, hey, bro, you need to get that
- 16:02S4: Scoby checked out. That's not good.
- 16:04S12: Yeah. It's not it's not the nicest thing to look at,
- 16:07S12: I gotta say. And there's a fine line of like,
- 16:10S12: am I doing this right? Or is this growing, like, mold?
- 16:13S12: You know, I'm keeping an eye on it. I'm not
- 16:15S12: too sure, but I've bottled my first batch, so that's
- 16:18S12: in the fridge, ready to go. It's fizzing up, so
- 16:21S12: it's it's good. I think I've had a bit of
- 16:23S12: a taste. I think it's I think it's good for
- 16:25S12: a first batch.
- 16:25S3: And what flavours are you chucking in with the Scoby
- 16:29S3: in the jar?
- 16:30S12: Got a bit of a tropical one to start with.
- 16:33S12: I bought a premade flavour kit so that's all. All good.
- 16:37S12: So yeah, it's kind of a a tropical vibe.
- 16:40S4: Well, I look forward to you. You know, launching your
- 16:44S4: own wellness channel on Instagram. I'm very, very excited.
- 16:48S3: Keep it eye out. Well, alongside that, James, you have
- 16:51S3: been trying to find the worst clickbait article in the
- 16:53S3: week that we dare not click on, but actually kind
- 16:56S3: of attempted to. What did you uncover?
- 16:58S12: Yeah. So this one for this week is man who
- 17:02S12: broke the record for time spent in world's quietest room,
- 17:06S12: reported experiencing several horrifying side effects.
- 17:11S3: I've heard about these quiet rooms, and it does sound
- 17:15S3: a bit scary because it's so quiet in there. Like,
- 17:19S3: you make a noise and you can't hear it because
- 17:20S3: it just goes like the walls dead in it so quick.
- 17:23S3: You've just got the sound of like, your blood going
- 17:26S3: through your head or something. It can send you insane.
- 17:30S3: First of all.
- 17:31S4: I guess pounding.
- 17:32S3: Before we guess what the side effects are. Can you
- 17:35S3: tell us how long he lasted to get that world record? James?
- 17:38S12: Yes. So this guy is Callum McGinley. He's a YouTuber,
- 17:43S12: and the record he set was one hour and 26
- 17:47S12: minutes in the anechoic chamber. The previous record was set
- 17:51S12: in 2019 and that was 67 minutes. So you did
- 17:54S12: a pretty good job.
- 17:55S4: See, this is one of those things that doesn't sound
- 17:57S4: like it would be hard. Like, I truly feel like
- 18:00S4: I could do it. Yeah, but.
- 18:02S3: I've sat through terrible movies that have gone for 90
- 18:06S3: minutes and thought, I need to get out of this
- 18:08S3: so I at least could go 90 minutes. You'd hope.
- 18:11S4: What's his, what's his name and age again? What's his age?
- 18:14S12: Uh, I think he's in his 30s.
- 18:16S4: Okay. 30 year old guy, uh, spends a long time
- 18:19S4: in a silent room. I'm gonna guess the terrifying symptom
- 18:21S4: was he left and decided he didn't want to start
- 18:23S4: a podcast. That that was his the side effect. He
- 18:29S4: was like, silence is actually okay. I don't need to
- 18:32S4: share my opinion.
- 18:33S3: Um, I, I reckon I reckon I'd actually be able
- 18:36S3: to beat this dude because I've had a lot of training,
- 18:38S3: like the amount of medical comedy shows I've sat through.
- 18:42S3: Absolutely dead silence in the room.
- 18:46S4: Just the blood pulsing through your veins. It was horrifying.
- 18:53S3: That's all you could hear? Uh, no. Oh, is it like.
- 18:57S3: Is it painful to hear after, like, your ears adjusting
- 19:00S3: to that sort of thing afterwards?
- 19:02S4: Or does it, like, affect his sense of taste or
- 19:04S4: something weird like that? I don't know. What's the horror?
- 19:06S4: What's the horrifying side effect?
- 19:08S12: So he had a few things that happened to him.
- 19:10S12: You're kind of on the money. He had a burst
- 19:12S12: of extreme tinnitus in both ears, followed quickly by pressure
- 19:18S12: in his head, and had visions of lights flickering around
- 19:22S12: the room. But again, the other big thing he touched on,
- 19:26S12: which I think you're you're right about, is that he
- 19:27S12: said he could hear his own blood running through his body,
- 19:31S12: but at first he actually thought it was the sound
- 19:34S12: of the London Underground because he was in a chamber in,
- 19:37S12: in London. Um, but it was actually the blood rushing
- 19:41S12: through his head.
- 19:42S3: Oh, boy.
- 19:43S4: I mean, all the other symptoms, they're they're similar to
- 19:46S4: what it's like being me at one of my gigs
- 19:48S4: as well. Just blinded by the lights. Sudden, like pressure
- 19:53S4: in the head, like, oh my God, what am I doing?
- 19:56S1: Ah.
- 19:58S4: Um. So yeah. No, we can relate. Um. All right. Well,
- 20:01S4: thank you very much, James. Hopefully he can. The gentleman who,
- 20:06S4: you know, broke that record could, uh, you know, leave
- 20:10S4: the chamber and do the first thing he wanted to
- 20:13S4: do with being able to hear again, which was listening
- 20:15S4: to him. Episode of Matt and Alex all day. Breakfast.
- 20:17S3: Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what happened. So thank you
- 20:19S3: to you, Callum, for listening. And thank you to you,
- 20:22S3: not Callum for listening. I really appreciate you tuning in
- 20:25S3: for another edition of Matt and Alex All Day Breakfast.
- 20:27S3: We've got another big app for you tomorrow, so sit
- 20:30S3: tight and we'll see you then.
- 20:32S4: Bye bye.
- 20:33S1: That's it. The all day breakfast kitchen is closed. Got
- 20:36S1: something to add to the show? Slide into our DMs
