Reds Injury Update: Toglia Out, Johnson Up | Cincinnati Reds News
The Reds take another hit as Michael Toglia goes on the injured list with a dislocated shoulder, retroactive to August 22 — just days after Spencer Steer was ruled out for the season. Though the injury looked severe and raised fears of long-term damage, Toglia says he’s pain-free now and optimistic about recovery. To fill his role, the team has called up versatile infielder/outfielder Ivan Johnson, who brings speed and positional flexibility — perfect for pinch-running or emergency coverage.
