A Reflection For Coming Back From The Abyss
Sometimes we find ourselves in situations that feel beyond hope.
But the psalmist reminds us that God “redeems our lives from the Pit, and crowns us with steadfast love.”
— from Psalm 103:4
Our fault, their fault, nobody’s fault—there is no one beyond God’s love. And there is no situation beyond redemption.
God forgives. God heals. God redeems.
We are never without hope—for ourselves, for each other, or for this world.
Amen.
