- 1:35Speaker 2: Oh no.
- 1:36Speaker 1: And I don't know if it's just because uh already

- 2:06Speaker 1: that is the plan here on The Woody Show. Bless
- 2:09Speaker 1: you you Sorry, bless you. Papa John's they're gonna close
- 2:13Speaker 1: about three hundred stores by the end of next year.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Oh no, that yeah, Like that's That's been a story
- 2:20Speaker 1: that keeps popping up this week, and I was like, Okay.
- 2:23Speaker 5: The only thing I loved about those types of places
- 2:25Speaker 5: is the smell when you walk in, but I haven't
- 2:26Speaker 5: been to one in so long.
- 2:27Speaker 1: The only thing I really like about Papa John's that
- 2:29Speaker 1: garlic sauce.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Yeah, the cheese bread with the garlic sauce on it.
- 2:34Speaker 6: That was pretty much all I ever ordered from them,
- 2:36Speaker 6: and it was like five bucks.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Yeah, but the crust is not my jam over there.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I've never I've never got why people when you order
- 2:45Speaker 1: pizza order breadsticks. I don't get it. Yeah, I've never
- 2:49Speaker 1: got you. It's mega redundant with that order, like when
- 2:53Speaker 1: you get pasta. Okay, so I mean, I know it's
- 2:56Speaker 1: still carbs, but there's the the pizza that. That's what
- 3:00Speaker 1: the breadsticks are. It's the crust that. That's not true though,
- 3:03Speaker 1: like the garlic.
- 3:04Speaker 7: A garlic breadstick is much softer, thicker, and fluffier than
- 3:08Speaker 7: they crust up a pizza.
- 3:09Speaker 1: The ones you get from like Papa John's Pizza Hut
- 3:12Speaker 1: or whatever it is. Their pizza dough. They bake it
- 3:14Speaker 1: and then they use the pizza slicer thing like the
- 3:17Speaker 1: half moon looking things. Yeah, and they make strips out
- 3:19Speaker 1: of it and they dump some cheese on it and
- 3:20Speaker 1: maybe send you a little thing. It is qualitatively different.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And by the way, when you send out those things,
- 3:25Speaker 1: why do they send out the marin aero sauce right
- 3:27Speaker 1: out of the refrigerator?
- 3:29Speaker 6: Oh yeah, war lay a little bit warm?
- 3:36Speaker 1: Oh sea bass? By the way, yeah, uh, this is
- 3:39Speaker 1: from science, and you do like signs you're a man
- 3:40Speaker 1: of science. Everyone should be. Being nice to your co
- 3:43Speaker 1: workers makes you happier. Well, that's that's the general being
- 3:46Speaker 1: nice everybody makes you happier. Studies show that greeting co
- 3:50Speaker 1: workers with a cheerful good morning, cheerful good morning has
- 3:53Speaker 1: a hugely uplifting effect on an office environment.
- 3:56Speaker 5: Let's put Sammy on that list.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Even it's even more potive when managers take a morning
- 4:02Speaker 1: tour to acknowledge their employees first thing.
- 4:05Speaker 4: Yeah in the morning.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah, where's the tours?
- 4:07Speaker 5: Management? Walking around in circles? Hi, everybody?
- 4:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I was recently seeing this interview. It says, if
- 4:13Speaker 6: you're super smart, you shouldn't be a dick because it
- 4:17Speaker 6: will just make you even more powerful, the lord over everybody.
- 4:21Speaker 1: You should not be a dick.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Yeah, you shouldn't be a dick. Well, because then I'll
- 4:24Speaker 6: get more people to follow what you say. Well, that's
- 4:27Speaker 6: literally true.
- 4:29Speaker 1: They said that.
- 4:30Speaker 6: But if you're like a smart person in general, it's
- 4:33Speaker 6: like a superpower, and then it makes you even more powerful.
- 4:36Speaker 4: If you're smart, you should know better.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Are there any studies out there that say you should
- 4:39Speaker 5: be a dick?
- 4:42Speaker 3: I feel like I've gotten better at saying good morning.
- 4:46Speaker 4: I get the cold shoulder, Sammy, but I'm okay with it.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You are the two that I say.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Good morning to.
- 4:52Speaker 8: I feel like, are you guys serious?
- 4:57Speaker 4: I'm okay with it. I don't say it to anybody menace.
- 4:59Speaker 3: I say good morning to you.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I would say about eighty percent of the time,
- 5:03Speaker 6: what do you want to work in?
- 5:04Speaker 1: I don't like, by the way, I don't expect the
- 5:06Speaker 1: good mornings from anybody.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Because, like you know, yeah, I don't say it.
- 5:09Speaker 1: It's fine. We spend plenty of time chatting it up.
- 5:11Speaker 1: It's not like I only see you in passing. Yeah
- 5:13Speaker 1: right now people go oh, hey, good morning, Oh how
- 5:15Speaker 1: you doing in the group? Good morning, which you also
- 5:17Speaker 1: hate is just a yeah, that's all I do. Yeah, yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 1: that's all good. We saw each other five minutes ago
- 5:22Speaker 1: and we will see good morning in Morgan every morning.
- 5:25Speaker 3: You do you check on me? Thank you.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's a Woodie show that well. Today March sixth, it's
- 5:33Speaker 1: a National Oreo Day. It's good National white chocolate cheesecake day,
- 5:40Speaker 1: white chocolate amount of fan.
- 5:41Speaker 4: I don't get it.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I used to like it.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Now just take the cheesecake.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Oh, thank you. It's a no homework day, which my
- 5:47Speaker 1: kids will tell me is every day, right, you have
- 5:49Speaker 1: any homework time? No? I did study? Hall did? Yeah? Okay.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Then two weeks later, why don't we have some missing
- 5:55Speaker 1: assignments that we're getting notifications about. Oh, I don't know. Oh,
- 5:59Speaker 1: they just haven't up. Yeah. Have you heard that one guy? Yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 1: I think there's everything at twenty days a month off.
- 6:05Speaker 1: They do, they get it, They get a lot, they
- 6:06Speaker 1: get a lot. Today's National Dentist Day, National Frozen Food Day,
- 6:12Speaker 1: and today is National Employee Appreciation Day. I wonder what
- 6:17Speaker 1: the company has planned today. Oh, I'm going to have
- 6:20Speaker 1: stacks of money. I wonder how that's going to go today. Yeah,
- 6:27Speaker 1: all right, Well one of the big entertainment stories. And
- 6:29Speaker 1: I know Gina has been keeping I don't know did
- 6:34Speaker 1: we did we have any other kind of like wed
- 6:37Speaker 1: this could have played out like eventually this is going
- 6:38Speaker 1: to happen any surprise. It's Britney Spears. Yeah, the dy
- 6:43Speaker 1: she got a d She got.
- 6:44Speaker 9: A d U I as we all know, Wednesday night
- 6:46Speaker 9: in Ventura County, California, and according to the law enforcement,
- 6:49Speaker 9: she was arrested by the CHP, the California High Patrol
- 6:52Speaker 9: around nine thirty and it was later released but she
- 6:55Speaker 9: was immediately taken the hospital for to get her BAC
- 7:00Speaker 9: her blood alcohol level. She told people she was at
- 7:03Speaker 9: point six, but I don't think that that's the way
- 7:06Speaker 9: it went down. And then immediately after she took all
- 7:09Speaker 9: of her social media down, so good luck finding those
- 7:12Speaker 9: sweet night dancing videos.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Like, she's probably not a good drive. I wouldn't imagine
- 7:17Speaker 1: she'd be a good driver. So bright she could be
- 7:19Speaker 1: negative point six.
- 7:20Speaker 6: They're still going to rush for du When they did
- 7:21Speaker 6: that Free Britney documentary. Part of the documentary was the
- 7:25Speaker 6: big thing where they weren't allowing her to drive, and
- 7:29Speaker 6: they go, okay, we'll allow you to drive. So they
- 7:31Speaker 6: took her as like some random like open.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Parking lot, you're teaching your kids how to drive home.
- 7:37Speaker 6: In the middle of the night, Like yeah, in the
- 7:38Speaker 6: middle of nowhere, just so she could drive her car.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Well, she's got so many strikes against her. Number one,
- 7:42Speaker 1: she's nuts. Number two well this was she was under
- 7:45Speaker 1: the influence. But like the number two a or driving
- 7:48Speaker 1: as female, right, I mean, we get you. We were
- 7:50Speaker 1: talking about that. We're making a joke about there was
- 7:53Speaker 1: something where they had stats on this where uh, women
- 7:57Speaker 1: who were pregnant and like rates of accidents or tickets,
- 8:01Speaker 1: moving violations and things like that. I remember we said
- 8:03Speaker 1: if they were pregnant with a boy, there was no difference.
- 8:06Speaker 1: But when they were pregnant with a girl, there were
- 8:09Speaker 1: more accidents. There were more like so yeah, because they
- 8:11Speaker 1: were bad driving for two And somebody left usaid after
- 8:15Speaker 1: hours voice after we had that conversation. Somebody left us
- 8:17Speaker 1: after hours voicemail about that about being pregnant with girls.
- 8:22Speaker 2: So I don't know his truth.
- 8:23Speaker 9: But I was pregnant with twins while I was driving.
- 8:27Speaker 2: My perception change and yep, got in a car accident.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, so weird.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Three women in the car, so dangerous.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So dangerous.
- 8:41Speaker 4: We do need drivers.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I mean, how does it end for Britney Spears?
- 8:44Speaker 10: Though?
- 8:44Speaker 1: Does she? Does she live to a ripe old age
- 8:46Speaker 1: of whatever? I'm just asking, how, like, how do we
- 8:50Speaker 1: think they're bringing back the nuthouse? Is that a fact
- 8:54Speaker 1: around the table? I think they should with her.
- 8:57Speaker 6: It's just like I feel, you know, I don't know
- 9:00Speaker 6: if she did drugs ever, but well she was.
- 9:02Speaker 1: On a lot of drugs. They had her medicare.
- 9:07Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just like your brain like becomes chemically imbalanced
- 9:10Speaker 6: and you're just fried and some people just can't come
- 9:13Speaker 6: back from that.
- 9:14Speaker 9: Here's the thing I always think about, like, you know,
- 9:15Speaker 9: good for you girl, do whatever you want.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 9:18Speaker 9: And you know I say that, but then I look
- 9:20Speaker 9: at like the knife dancing, like, oh my god, she
- 9:23Speaker 9: has full grown sons, like humiliating for them.
- 9:27Speaker 4: It really does bother me.
- 9:29Speaker 8: But people are allowed to be crazy just because we
- 9:32Speaker 8: know her, and everyone's like save her, control her.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Do all these things. It's like, well if she goes
- 9:36Speaker 4: to jail, why she goes to jail.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I should not be allowed to be crazy because they
- 9:40Speaker 1: put you in the nuthouse. And that's what we're advocating for.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Let's bring that back. He'd be safe.
- 9:45Speaker 5: You might like it there, Greg Gory, what you got, well,
- 9:48Speaker 5: you might think this is Ahso I'm going to ask Morgan,
- 9:50Speaker 5: do you know who Valerie Bertinelli is?
- 9:55Speaker 1: There are people my age who have no idea who
- 9:57Speaker 1: I knows. I've been famous our entire life. She was
- 10:01Speaker 1: married to Eddie van Halen.
- 10:02Speaker 4: She was on one day at a time.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I've heard of van Halen.
- 10:05Speaker 1: One day at a time was with my that was
- 10:07Speaker 1: my parents. I don't disagree, but to say that people
- 10:10Speaker 1: our age don't know who that is. You might have
- 10:12Speaker 1: heard the name of You might have heard the name,
- 10:14Speaker 1: but that I don't think like it's just like an
- 10:16Speaker 1: automatic that people just automatic know who that is or
- 10:19Speaker 1: can picture you know why? I know she was on
- 10:21Speaker 1: TV and she was married to Edie Van Halen.
- 10:24Speaker 5: So anyway, she she's got this book out called Getting Naked,
- 10:29Speaker 5: and so she's doing the interview rounds and she says
- 10:31Speaker 5: what we've been saying, that it's nobody's business if anybody
- 10:35Speaker 5: takes weight loss meds, and she said, anything somebody else
- 10:39Speaker 5: does that doesn't affect your life, leave them alone.
- 10:41Speaker 9: Yeah, but she was the spokesperson for weight loss, well
- 10:44Speaker 9: weight loss she's talking about like GLP one and stuff
- 10:48Speaker 9: like that.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Now, she also says she wants to get a necklift,
- 10:52Speaker 5: but she's too afraid because she had her breast implants
- 10:56Speaker 5: removed and got an infection in complications, so she scared,
- 11:00Speaker 5: but eventually does want.
- 11:01Speaker 1: To do it because she didn't go to Columbia and.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Exactly Valerie to go to Columbia. And then she also
- 11:07Speaker 5: says she did try botox, but only once. She didn't
- 11:10Speaker 5: like the way it made her eyebrows look, so she
- 11:12Speaker 5: just grew her bangs out to hide her forehead.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I get that sometimes that it does mess up the brows.
- 11:16Speaker 5: But her whole point is whatever people want to do
- 11:19Speaker 5: that they think makes them look better, none of your business.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And do it until you go overboard and you start
- 11:25Speaker 1: looking clownish or caricature.
- 11:29Speaker 5: There was like, I think you get to a point
- 11:31Speaker 5: where it starts to look normal and then it starts
- 11:33Speaker 5: to look good, like it starts weird.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I think you want to believe it and then it
- 11:38Speaker 1: looks actually good. How Simon Cowell doing, Greg all the
- 11:45Speaker 1: people that we've heard about here recently, Yeah, they look weird.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I mean it's fine if that's what they want. It's fine. Men,
- 11:53Speaker 1: it's what you got. All right.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Well, I will bring up something kind of old timy
- 11:56Speaker 6: because it kind of relays, well, it kind of relates
- 11:59Speaker 6: to you.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Ask Morgan if she knows, she.
- 12:03Speaker 6: Will know nothing about this. It just relates to something
- 12:05Speaker 6: that we talked about. This the only reason I'm bringing
- 12:07Speaker 6: it up. Okay, So you know the band Nelson Nope, nope,
- 12:12Speaker 6: maybe let me let me.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Let me play hit?
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah, all right. So they had a big song, Yeah
- 12:18Speaker 1: they had They had a couple of songs, like one
- 12:20Speaker 1: was called After the Rain, not a big one. The
- 12:23Speaker 1: big one was Love and Affection. Yeah, that was their
- 12:28Speaker 1: biggest song. This is their biggest song.
- 12:30Speaker 4: Yeah, it's something I reas think of after the Rain.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I'm sure I've heard it before.
- 12:34Speaker 1: But it's not like you had.
- 12:36Speaker 4: No idea Morgan Nelson fan.
- 12:39Speaker 6: Well, the reason I bring him up is because we're
- 12:40Speaker 6: recently talking about like, if you die and you have
- 12:44Speaker 6: a lot of debt, who does that go to?
- 12:46Speaker 8: Like?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Who who takes care of that? Well?
- 12:49Speaker 6: I didn't even know that Nelson was part of a
- 12:51Speaker 6: like super famous family and they were part I had
- 12:54Speaker 6: no idea me neither me neither. But you remember remember
- 12:59Speaker 6: the event of Ozzy and Harriet from the nineteen fifties
- 13:02Speaker 6: and sixties.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Love I My dad loved Wways.
- 13:08Speaker 6: So they're part of some super famous family. Their grandparents
- 13:11Speaker 6: owned this super famous TV show. They owned all the
- 13:13Speaker 6: rights to it, and then their their grandfather died in
- 13:18Speaker 6: nineteen seventy five, and then their father took it over
- 13:22Speaker 6: and he died in nineteen eighty five in a plane crash. Right, Okay,
- 13:26Speaker 6: so this is right when they're all like taking off
- 13:29Speaker 6: their teenagers all this kind of stuff. So to hold
- 13:33Speaker 6: on to all the rights to all these TV shows
- 13:35Speaker 6: and all the music, they started going to debt. They
- 13:39Speaker 6: took on the debt themselves as teenagers because they didn't
- 13:43Speaker 6: want quote dishonnorable bankruptcy because the family name, because they
- 13:49Speaker 6: come from a famous family, they didn't want the name
- 13:52Speaker 6: to be tarnished in bankruptcy. So as teenagers, as they
- 13:55Speaker 6: were becoming famous in this band, they took on all
- 13:58Speaker 6: the debt to pay it off. So they did it
- 14:00Speaker 6: all like on the under.
- 14:02Speaker 1: So the public wouldn't be like so the public.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Wouldn't know Nelson, the super famous nineteen fifties Nelson family
- 14:08Speaker 6: wouldn't be tarnished.
- 14:10Speaker 1: So they know of their family history. Morgan, I know now,
- 14:13Speaker 1: I know how you feel when we talk about it.
- 14:15Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 14:16Speaker 9: You've never heard of Ricky Nelson or Ozzie and Harriet Harriet.
- 14:20Speaker 4: I know that, har but couldn't tell you that My
- 14:23Speaker 4: parents were super into that.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they're gonna be in the marshes of rock
- 14:26Speaker 1: Crews coming up. I pulled up a hook of after
- 14:30Speaker 1: the races. This is one. I think it's the bigger.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Love and Affection was wasigulous. Yeah, I loving Affection. Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you guys, they're both big singles. But Love
- 14:41Speaker 1: and affection was slightly big. Yeah, I don't know. And
- 14:44Speaker 1: they or are they twins? I wasn't sure. Yeah, that
- 14:48Speaker 1: was their thing. It's the show. How about. I tried
- 14:55Speaker 1: my best to find some celebrity stuff with people that
- 14:59Speaker 1: you might have heard of.
- 15:00Speaker 5: Good.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, I'm listening Tate McCrae. Yes, so there's
- 15:04Speaker 1: been the whole thing. So Jack Hughes, who is the
- 15:06Speaker 1: big like star of the Olympics for the men's hockey team. Yeah, right,
- 15:10Speaker 1: so he is with Tate McCray. Now, my wife hates
- 15:13Speaker 1: Tate McCray, love her so much, just thinks that she's
- 15:16Speaker 1: trashing on talented, completely fabricated, and you know, there's a
- 15:21Speaker 1: lot of Britney Spears comparison. So she does a lot
- 15:23Speaker 1: of stripper dancing. Yes, yeah, it's like she was like,
- 15:26Speaker 1: what it's all about. Yeah, he's basically a stripper. I
- 15:29Speaker 1: don't don't know really anything about her, like if she's well,
- 15:32Speaker 1: you know, like Brittany in other ways, or like the music.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I have no idea since.
- 15:36Speaker 6: The beginning though, that she has become like on the
- 15:38Speaker 6: scene of pop music. She has always put it out
- 15:41Speaker 6: there that she's a major hockey fan. Okay, well, there
- 15:43Speaker 6: are all the music videos, everything. And Jack's a young guy,
- 15:46Speaker 6: young dude. He's a superstar, great player for the New
- 15:49Speaker 6: Jersey Devils, Olympic champion and the hero of the Olympics.
- 15:53Speaker 6: All right, Greg, your favorite Billy Porter?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Oh god, do you know who? That is? Very annoying.
- 15:59Speaker 5: He's an actor and he's super very Is.
- 16:03Speaker 3: He the black gay guy that always dresses in.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Super two for two Morgan knowing who the hell this is? Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 1: he sucks. He claims that he was dead for three
- 16:12Speaker 1: days during a battle with sepsis. Yes, yeah, so what

- 18:06Speaker 1: great movie. You've probably never seen it, or you've probably
- 18:09Speaker 1: heard of it, but.

- 22:44Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Let's see what's happening in the world
- 22:47Speaker 1: gena gravity trending news headlines.
- 22:49Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 22:49Speaker 9: Well, President Trump is done with Department of Homeland Security
- 22:53Speaker 9: Secretary Christy Nome. In a statement on social media, he
- 22:56Speaker 9: thanked her for her work, so she'll be moving on
- 22:58Speaker 9: to a new position called the Special Envoy for the
- 23:01Speaker 9: Shield of the America's Choice. That's right, which is a
- 23:08Speaker 9: new security initiative they're being in that they're announcing.
- 23:11Speaker 6: I had this weird feeling from the beginning, like once
- 23:13Speaker 6: she started putting putting herself in all the commercials and
- 23:16Speaker 6: stuff like that, I go, oh, this chick is out
- 23:18Speaker 6: because you can.
- 23:20Speaker 1: You can't be the star. You know, there's only one star.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Yeah No, that's a really good point.
- 23:24Speaker 1: That's Donald Trump right there.
- 23:25Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 9: Well, she took the firing and stride. She thanked Trump
- 23:28Speaker 9: for everything. However, some people happy to see her go.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Democratic leaders all over the country celebrated the firing, especially
- 23:34Speaker 9: after the recent controversy in Minnesota.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I wonder what the like the severance package of big
- 23:40Speaker 1: for a job like that.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Do you get what if you're going right.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Down shifting jobs right, you don't get new title. This
- 23:47Speaker 1: is true. It's not corporate America. It's different.
- 23:51Speaker 9: And Trump has appointed some because oh, yeah, you have
- 23:54Speaker 9: to get on cobra.
- 23:57Speaker 1: You ever have to do so for those who insanely
- 24:00Speaker 1: who have been lucky enough to never have to experience this.
- 24:02Speaker 1: So when you lose a job and you had benefits
- 24:06Speaker 1: like medical benefits through your through your job, they they
- 24:10Speaker 1: don't continue. But there's a program called Cobra. It's like
- 24:13Speaker 1: a carryover program that's supposed to bridge between you losing
- 24:17Speaker 1: your benefits with your current job. They're paid, you know,
- 24:19Speaker 1: well people are paying into like a portion comes out
- 24:23Speaker 1: of your check, but you're not paying the whole thing.
- 24:25Speaker 1: The company pays a good portion of it too. But
- 24:27Speaker 1: when you're on Cobra, you're responsible for the entire nut.
- 24:31Speaker 1: But you get to continue your health coverage. I don't
- 24:34Speaker 1: remember the monthly price, but it was like a yeah, family,
- 24:39Speaker 1: I had family coverage, so it was even more than that.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Oh that's fun. So you don't have a job and
- 24:43Speaker 1: then break Yeah, so Cobra is supposed to bridge until
- 24:47Speaker 1: you get to your new job, and typically new jobs
- 24:50Speaker 1: have like a thirty or sixty day old uh you
- 24:53Speaker 1: know window from when you start to where your benefits
- 24:56Speaker 1: kick in. So it's supposed to cover that time. But
- 24:59Speaker 1: it's a painting, it's mega expensive.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Do you have to pay her? Can you just be like, no,
- 25:04Speaker 3: you don't have to do it? Okay?
- 25:05Speaker 9: But also you just you just tapped into something I
- 25:08Speaker 9: never thought about. I never really thought about why it
- 25:10Speaker 9: was called cobra and you just said it's a carry over.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Bedfish or carryover benefit.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Now we're getting somewhere with white.
- 25:21Speaker 1: Venus.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Yes, exactly.
- 25:22Speaker 1: They strangle, they suck away your life.
- 25:26Speaker 9: Well, I'm sure we're going to be hearing more about
- 25:28Speaker 9: this on True Crime podcast, so I will keep you
- 25:30Speaker 9: posted on that. Three women in two separate areas of
- 25:33Speaker 9: Utah have been found dead, and it seems like all
- 25:35Speaker 9: three were killed by the same person. So two of
- 25:38Speaker 9: the women were found dead on a hiking trail and
- 25:40Speaker 9: the third was found dead in a house. The suspect
- 25:43Speaker 9: was tracked down in Colorado, and this is where a
- 25:45Speaker 9: story gets super weird. Okay, so the alleged killer wasn't
- 25:49Speaker 9: from anywhere near the area. And had come all the
- 25:51Speaker 9: way from Iowa. He was driving in Utah, he hid
- 25:54Speaker 9: an elk before selling his truck to the Toe company
- 25:57Speaker 9: and staying in a hotel for a few days. From there,
- 25:59Speaker 9: he killed the one woman at her house, spent the
- 26:02Speaker 9: night in her back shed, and then stole her car
- 26:04Speaker 9: in the morning. After a while, he wanted to switch
- 26:06Speaker 9: the cars, obviously, and that's when he spotted the other
- 26:09Speaker 9: two women getting out of their car. That's when he
- 26:11Speaker 9: killed them and stole their car. And cops asked him
- 26:15Speaker 9: why he did it, and this psycho.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Running from something.
- 26:17Speaker 4: All he said was he had like doing it. It
- 26:19Speaker 4: just had to be done.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Just so you guys know, I didn't enjoy it. Yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: it had to be done.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Some things just have to be done.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Like I won't go to prison if I don't like
- 26:29Speaker 5: doing it.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Right here, COBRA stands for Consolidated on the Bus Budget
- 26:34Speaker 1: Reconciliation Act of nineteen eighty five.
- 26:36Speaker 3: The other one sounded.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Her benefits right away.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It's something ale, your ale exactly, relocation something I don't
- 26:48Speaker 1: I don't even know.
- 26:49Speaker 4: I don't understand.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Cosolidated on the Bus Budget Reconciliation Act of nineteen eighty
- 26:54Speaker 1: five my head. Yeah, it allows employees and their families
- 26:57Speaker 1: to temporarily continue employer sponsored health coverage. It's not the
- 27:00Speaker 1: sponsored health cover because they don't pay into it. Now.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I had to do the Cobra thing because the last
- 27:05Speaker 1: time I needed it was when you know, I got
- 27:07Speaker 1: fired from our station in San Francisco and my wife
- 27:11Speaker 1: was seven months pregnant. Oh my god, this was not
- 27:14Speaker 1: the time to not have you have the insurance. I
- 27:17Speaker 1: want to say. It was close to two thousand bucks
- 27:19Speaker 1: per month. Yes, I can see that easily. Yeah, and
- 27:22Speaker 1: this was two thousand and nine. I can't even imagine
- 27:24Speaker 1: what it is now.
- 27:25Speaker 4: A five dollars maybe, yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 5: When I got fired from that station, I had worked
- 27:28Speaker 5: there fourteen years. My severance package was six thousand dollars,
- 27:33Speaker 5: so it covered COBRA for a few months.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Nice damn Well.
- 27:38Speaker 9: Back in twenty twenty four, scientists discovered an asteroid floating
- 27:41Speaker 9: out there in space and they thought it could be
- 27:43Speaker 9: headed straight for the Moon. At the time, I know
- 27:46Speaker 9: this seems low, but anything over zero is not good
- 27:48Speaker 9: at the time.
- 27:49Speaker 1: So when you were talking about minutes, there was like
- 27:50Speaker 1: some no, there was one that was coming towards Earth.
- 27:53Speaker 1: That was like oddly shaped the UF.
- 27:56Speaker 9: Well, this one had a four point three percent chance
- 27:59Speaker 9: of a direct hits.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Yeah, right, But the new info says that the Moon's
- 28:03Speaker 4: going to be spared.
- 28:04Speaker 9: The asteroid is about two hundred feet across, and now
- 28:07Speaker 9: it's expected to miss the Moon by over thirteen thousand
- 28:09Speaker 9: miles when it gets there in twenty thirty two. And luckily,
- 28:13Speaker 9: scientists have officially ruled out the chance of the asteroid
- 28:16Speaker 9: having any impact with Earth when it passes by. So
- 28:20Speaker 9: we'll just wait for next to the next one.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Even thirteen thousand miles sounds close right in space.
- 28:25Speaker 9: Two hundred miles nothing so. United Airlines finally introduced a
- 28:31Speaker 9: rule that should change flying for the better for everybody.
- 28:34Speaker 4: They're now making it.
- 28:35Speaker 9: Very clear that passengers who refuse to wear headphones while
- 28:38Speaker 9: using their electronic devices.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I saw this, I thought that was already a rule,
- 28:42Speaker 1: not in any plane. I would go on, Wow, they're
- 28:44Speaker 1: extra saying it's a rule, right, But I thought it
- 28:46Speaker 1: was already ruling it that you were supposed to have.
- 28:49Speaker 9: It's a courtesy. But now you could literally get banned
- 28:52Speaker 9: all together.
- 28:53Speaker 1: A rule just out in the world too.
- 28:55Speaker 4: That would be amazing. I hate when they do that.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 8: I was on a plane where a guy was listening
- 28:59Speaker 8: to was phone just out loud watching videos YouTube, and
- 29:02Speaker 8: the flight attendant went up to him multiple times and
- 29:04Speaker 8: said you have to either turn the volume off or
- 29:06Speaker 8: put headphones on, and he just didn't listen.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I will take a video like a TV show,
- 29:11Speaker 1: a movie or anything like that over someone's music. Number one. Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 1: and the worst because this is the usually the main
- 29:19Speaker 1: offender when people are doing this on planes. They've given
- 29:21Speaker 1: the tablet or whatever to their kids, and their kids
- 29:23Speaker 1: watching it. It's usually a little ass kid exactly.
- 29:32Speaker 4: That is accurate.
- 29:34Speaker 1: You have no self awareness.
- 29:36Speaker 4: None, zero.
- 29:38Speaker 11: Well.
- 29:38Speaker 9: United confirmed the rule change in a statement, saying they've
- 29:41Speaker 9: always asked passengers you use headphones, but now quote with
- 29:44Speaker 9: the expansion of starlink, it seems like a good time
- 29:47Speaker 9: to make it even clearer by adding the rule to
- 29:49Speaker 9: the contract.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah. United added starlink to all their planes. Yeah that's so,
- 29:54Speaker 1: which is dope. You know, streaming speeds it's really great.
- 29:58Speaker 1: But yeah, when they did that, they had to update
- 30:00Speaker 1: the language and a lot of their policy stuff. So, like,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I guess this is a good time to officially add
- 30:04Speaker 1: this in good.
- 30:05Speaker 4: But don't worry if you forget your headphones.
- 30:07Speaker 9: There's still no excuse because they'll give you those old
- 30:09Speaker 9: free ones if you ask for them. And the nice
- 30:11Speaker 9: people over at Wendy's have a new job opening and
- 30:14Speaker 9: this is like for real, so listen up. They're looking
- 30:16Speaker 9: for a chief Tasting Officer and it pays one hundred
- 30:19Speaker 9: thousand dollars a year. Okay, Morgan, listen. It'll involve taste
- 30:24Speaker 9: testing food, creating content and maybe even appearing in some ads.
- 30:28Speaker 9: As for the qualifications, this is a big one. All
- 30:31Speaker 9: you need is a human mouth, a pulse, and some opinions.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're also looking for someone, I think, to
- 30:36Speaker 1: do blogs and social media and things.
- 30:39Speaker 3: So you have to have and eat that kind of food.
- 30:41Speaker 1: You have to have a knowledge of eat kind of food. Okay,
- 30:44Speaker 1: I don't eat that.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Okay, well you must be.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Out except the chili in the cinnamon ring.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Maybe they check your final and not some sense into you.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Hopefully well.
- 30:54Speaker 9: Applicants have to upload to upload a video explaining them bite.
- 30:57Speaker 9: I think they're the right fit for the job, and
- 30:59Speaker 9: they get bonus points for including Wendy's branding.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Of course, that sounded like when people go, I don't
- 31:04Speaker 1: watch television listen to radio like that. That that statement,
- 31:10Speaker 1: that comment came across that way.
- 31:12Speaker 3: I don't have the money to cheat and take a shot,
- 31:14Speaker 3: so I have to do it the hard way.
- 31:20Speaker 1: It's extremely affordable, that's what they say. That's why we
- 31:23Speaker 1: have the obesity epidemic, because that's what people go with
- 31:27Speaker 1: when they don't have I know, look how much you're
- 31:29Speaker 1: spending on food.
- 31:30Speaker 9: But remember Morgan. Morgan's an athlete. I saw her eat
- 31:33Speaker 9: a bowl of like bloated chia seeds. So she's on
- 31:37Speaker 9: like a very specific dive.
- 31:38Speaker 5: That was one of the grossest things I've ever seen anybody.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Fish Greek yogurt.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It looks like it looks it looks like a bunch
- 31:46Speaker 1: of eggs at a cockroach lay. Eggs are right too,
- 31:51Speaker 1: by the way, I don't even know if cock cockroaches
- 31:53Speaker 1: have have eggs. Looks like.
- 32:00Speaker 6: She's eating like those people that work at the pop stations, you.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Know, Yeah, yeah, exactly right, like like a top forty.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Because I care about my body, God forbid.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 32:11Speaker 9: Well, finally, speaking of caring about your body, the girls
- 32:14Speaker 9: Scout Troop from New Jersey is getting in big trouble
- 32:17Speaker 9: after they made a lot of money setting up shop
- 32:19Speaker 9: in front of a weed dispenser.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Oh that's weird. Oh sual story. Yeah, this happens every year.
- 32:25Speaker 9: Every year and they they do gangbusters on these.
- 32:29Speaker 4: They had their shooters permission. It was a great fit.
- 32:31Speaker 9: The troop ended up selling all their cookies and they
- 32:34Speaker 9: couldn't even keep up with all the demand, like they
- 32:36Speaker 9: they couldn't keep up with people perfectly walking out and
- 32:39Speaker 9: getting the you know dosey does.
- 32:41Speaker 4: That's the good news. The bad news is that the
- 32:43Speaker 4: muckety muck's over at the Girl Scouts. They're not happy
- 32:46Speaker 4: with the way the money was made.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 32:48Speaker 9: Yeah, the troop was scheduled to sell in front of
- 32:50Speaker 9: the weed shop again, but apparently they were told to
- 32:52Speaker 9: stop it.
- 32:53Speaker 1: But the weed shop's legal and they.
- 32:55Speaker 9: Loved the partnership. The weed shop owner says that having
- 32:58Speaker 9: the girls outside was quote all about community. They didn't
- 33:01Speaker 9: want to get anyone in trouble. A bunch of news outlets.
- 33:04Speaker 9: They've reached out to the Girl Scouts of the higher ups,
- 33:06Speaker 9: but no comments so far.
- 33:08Speaker 3: It's legal, and there was a story, and you're trying
- 33:11Speaker 3: to raise business women. They were doing business.
- 33:15Speaker 1: There was a story and it happens every once in
- 33:17Speaker 1: a while. One again more recently, where there was like
- 33:19Speaker 1: a little league or something football team, the kids sports
- 33:22Speaker 1: something and they needed something done for The field was
- 33:25Speaker 1: in bad shape in this particular town, in the neighborhood.
- 33:29Speaker 1: So for the kids. Uh, they were trying to raise
- 33:32Speaker 1: money to get the field fixed up, maybe get a
- 33:34Speaker 1: new scoreboard, things like that. So in step to local business,
- 33:37Speaker 1: they pony up all the money for it. And they went, no, no,
- 33:41Speaker 1: thank you, we don't accept. So are you about the
- 33:44Speaker 1: kids or not? That business was a strip club. It's
- 33:47Speaker 1: a legal business.
- 33:49Speaker 4: It's a good way to do it too.
- 33:50Speaker 1: But I'm saying like, and I don't even think it
- 33:52Speaker 1: was about having their name on it. They they didn't
- 33:55Speaker 1: even want to accept the money from the business because
- 33:59Speaker 1: it's a strip hypocrit Like, it's a legal business. Guarantee
- 34:02Speaker 1: you there's some behind that board. You know, haters gonna hate.
- 34:06Speaker 5: I get the tie in with the dispensary, but it's
- 34:08Speaker 5: not like you go into the dispensary to buy your
- 34:10Speaker 5: weed and walk out mega high.
- 34:12Speaker 1: But you know, you know you're gonna want those cookies.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Yeah later. Smart Also means not even a dispensary. I
- 34:18Speaker 1: feel that way when the girls are set up outside
- 34:20Speaker 1: the grocery store, I can't avoid them. I'll make the
- 34:23Speaker 1: argument as well.
- 34:23Speaker 6: If you look up the Girl Scouts address, it's for
- 34:26Speaker 6: twenty so you know, think about that.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Think about that. Well, if you look up the address
- 34:32Speaker 1: for the headquarters for the Okay.
- 34:34Speaker 4: There are twenty Girls Scout Boulevard.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Which are like, that's saying, what do you for twenty No?
- 34:42Speaker 1: I understand that. Is that really a girl the Girl
- 34:45Speaker 1: Scouts head quarters head quarters for twenty Yeah, I think
- 34:49Speaker 1: you're so we know what they about. Yeah, we'd be knowing,
- 34:52Speaker 1: we'd be knowing.
- 34:53Speaker 4: No secret National headquarters.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah, National Headquarters address.
- 34:58Speaker 9: Quarters twenty twenty something for twenty fifth Avenue.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Yep. Nice, Yeah, there it is.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 35:07Speaker 1: One to below one Morgan got it.
- 35:10Speaker 4: It's going on.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I think everybody bought a couple of people. We're gonna
- 35:15Speaker 1: take a quick break. We got some more Woodies show
- 35:18Speaker 1: coming up for your next hang on. Ok Okay, okay,
- 35:27Speaker 1: I think I know what that is.
- 35:28Speaker 11: Yeah, this is the Woody Show.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I saw something where they did some research Harvard Medical School, Greg. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: they know a couple of things. Yeah, And they found
- 35:38Speaker 1: a link between big music release days and a spike
- 35:41Speaker 1: in deadly car accidents. What yeah, because people were bumping
- 35:45Speaker 1: that music. Yeah. So it was data from this study,
- 35:49Speaker 1: the Fatality database, and they matched up with Spotify's charts,
- 35:54Speaker 1: and they they tracked the ten most streamed albums between
- 35:58Speaker 1: twenty seventeen and twenty twenty two. So on the day
- 36:02Speaker 1: the days of those albums drop, So Taylor Swift or
- 36:04Speaker 1: Drake something like that, streaming activity jump by nearly forty percent,
- 36:08Speaker 1: Traffic deaths climbed by fifteen percent. Yeah. Yeah, people are
- 36:16Speaker 1: just too damn excited.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Oh.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Also another detail they said that stood out, the jump
- 36:21Speaker 1: in fatalities was more pronounced in cars that had Apple
- 36:24Speaker 1: car Play, suggesting that in car phone mirroring tech makes
- 36:29Speaker 1: drivers more likely to mess with their playlists while they're
- 36:31Speaker 1: on the move.
- 36:32Speaker 6: That I see, Yeah, and I love Apple car Play.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 4: Same.
- 36:39Speaker 5: They also say there's more crashes after we change the
- 36:42Speaker 5: clocks because we're that pathetic.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Which, by the way, that's that's that's happening.
- 36:46Speaker 4: That I don't know what Sunday, you know what I forgot.
- 36:50Speaker 8: How I didn't believe it but the clocks changed and
- 36:53Speaker 8: I was listening to the radio and it was like,
- 36:55Speaker 8: there's more car accidents when the clocks changed.
- 36:57Speaker 3: And then thirty seconds later I got in a car. Crap, Yes,
- 37:01Speaker 3: what was it your fault?
- 37:03Speaker 8: There was like a five car pile up, and then
- 37:06Speaker 8: the car before me stopped just short of it, and
- 37:08Speaker 8: then I hit the car in front of me.
- 37:09Speaker 3: So it was a separate accident.
- 37:11Speaker 1: But so here's something else, because the research also shows
- 37:13Speaker 1: that drivers listening to music with over one hundred and
- 37:15Speaker 1: twenty beats per minute make sudden lean changes more than
- 37:19Speaker 1: other drivers. They also speed more. That makes sense, so
- 37:24Speaker 1: this is also what they did. They looked at Spotify's
- 37:26Speaker 1: one hundred most streamed songs, scoring them for BPM, energy, danceability, volume,
- 37:31Speaker 1: spoken content, and lyrics. And these are the songs most
- 37:36Speaker 1: likely to get you pulled over for speeding.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Okay, okay, ready, all right.
- 37:41Speaker 1: So number number one on their list is EMI Lose Yourself.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Yeah that makes me an aggressive driver? Yes, this is
- 37:52Speaker 1: This is number one.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Makes you a little overconfident, This can.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Get you pulled over speeding. The other one what really?
- 38:00Speaker 7: Really?
- 38:01Speaker 1: Yeah, this is number two on the list. It's a
- 38:04Speaker 1: very soccer model I'm not getting Yeah, yeah, what.
- 38:08Speaker 3: Do you late to soccer practice?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Like a minivan? Badass?
- 38:12Speaker 2: All right?
- 38:12Speaker 1: The next one here is uh, Yes, I've always hated
- 38:18Speaker 1: this song.
- 38:19Speaker 6: I think it's just the beat because it's the speed
- 38:22Speaker 6: of the song makes you want to speed.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I can see that. Yeah, I agree with that one. Yes.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Number four is du a lipa nice. Yeah, I feel like.
- 38:38Speaker 9: Feel like it's just the kind of song it is
- 38:41Speaker 9: like you turn its way up and you're not paying attention.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah, this I disagree with it. I like it. We
- 38:46Speaker 1: would make me drive.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Slower, yeah, slower? Yeah, I just think it make you
- 38:50Speaker 4: more distracted.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Just cruise, you know, yeah, you just be feeling the vibe. Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Number five, The song fifth most likely to get you
- 38:58Speaker 1: pulled over for speeding is.
- 39:01Speaker 9: Confessis like Sammy Yingers.
- 39:10Speaker 4: I would so get pulled over to the.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Song someone who hears the report and causes her to crash.
- 39:16Speaker 1: This is Sean Mendez.
- 39:20Speaker 9: I like this, but it wouldn't be like, yeah, let's
- 39:23Speaker 9: open the bitch up on the road, like yeah, it's.
- 39:27Speaker 1: It's it's funny. What passes this quote? Rock? Now too?
- 39:30Speaker 1: You know, it's like this is even rock.
- 39:32Speaker 4: I couldn't even tell you who.
- 39:33Speaker 1: So this is supposed to be like, you know, badasspeeding song. Yeah,
- 39:37Speaker 1: I don't know. Number six on the list is.
- 39:45Speaker 4: Song this is like for kindergarteners to learn the days
- 39:49Speaker 4: of the week.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Yeah, this is like Near and Far Street, right, this
- 39:57Speaker 1: is uh Jung's Cook the hell that is so Joan
- 40:04Speaker 1: Number seven?
- 40:07Speaker 3: This makes more sense to me.
- 40:08Speaker 4: This I understand.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and where's the Rabbit?
- 40:11Speaker 1: Like Travis Scott remix called goose Bumps.
- 40:18Speaker 4: I could see this effecting driving.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I get every time I've not heard this one.
- 40:25Speaker 3: This is such a day.
- 40:27Speaker 6: Yeah, like Morgan SMAs original terrible.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, all right, Uh let's see number eight. Yes,
- 40:40Speaker 1: really there's another one. I'm kind of a break on
- 40:42Speaker 1: this one. This is more like a slow down. Yeah,
- 40:45Speaker 1: it's yeah the song.
- 40:50Speaker 5: I love the song, but it's I think it kind
- 40:52Speaker 5: of makes me sad.
- 40:56Speaker 1: It says on the text this list is pissing me off.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I could see it making me eat and just pure frustration.
- 41:01Speaker 4: I get that.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah, let's see number nine. It's another eminem song. Y. Yeah,
- 41:13Speaker 1: I'm not speeding to this one. Years ago somebody said
- 41:19Speaker 1: Jung Cook is from BT s Oh there you go cool.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Number ten is another one from Imagine Dragons. Oh yeah,
- 41:33Speaker 1: this is like.
- 41:33Speaker 4: To do a leap one. You just turn it up
- 41:34Speaker 4: and you're distracted. You're not going to fact, I.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Don't turn this up. I turn this off. Yeah yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 1: I just turned this up. The song will be better
- 41:43Speaker 1: for Yeah.
- 41:46Speaker 9: Why why doesn't Oklahoma? Why doesn't Why don't the Thunder
- 41:50Speaker 9: use this for their I've always wondered that.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Email them.
- 41:54Speaker 4: I'm sure they've heard of it.
- 41:56Speaker 1: It's a question that's a question for them.
- 41:57Speaker 5: There's only one outside factor that really affected my driving
- 42:01Speaker 5: for a period of my life, and that was when
- 42:03Speaker 5: I was addicted to Grand Theft Auto. I would play
- 42:05Speaker 5: it for hours and hours and hours and hours, and
- 42:08Speaker 5: then I would go home, and it really skewed my
- 42:11Speaker 5: sense of reality. I thought like I could crash right
- 42:14Speaker 5: through this thing, or oh I missed my exit. I
- 42:16Speaker 5: can just go over the overpass and happy.
- 42:18Speaker 4: To hear someone admit that, because everyone's like there's no correlation.
- 42:22Speaker 5: That's the one thing, the one outside factor that fully
- 42:25Speaker 5: affected me.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Interestingly, did you ever play and then go immediately drive?
- 42:29Speaker 3: It'll be like, oh, this is real life.
- 42:30Speaker 5: I need to because I didn't have the game. My
- 42:32Speaker 5: friend had it lived about I don't know, half an
- 42:34Speaker 5: hour away, play for hours, get in the car and have.
- 42:37Speaker 1: You felt Yeah, dude, somebody just texted over about this one.
- 42:41Speaker 1: This one could do the trick.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Give me.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Now we're talking.
- 42:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought there was gonna be a lot more
- 42:47Speaker 4: metal on that list.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Metallica Fuel Yeah, tell ye. Oh, by the way, I'm
- 42:52Speaker 1: gonna go see uh Metallica sphere. That's gonna be my first.
- 42:57Speaker 1: They're doing a residency. I'm sure you've heard about it
- 43:00Speaker 1: on play Yeah, yeah, talk about bp MS. Yeah, not
- 43:03Speaker 1: till knock October though, Oh damn it, don't you mean October? Yeah?
- 43:09Speaker 1: Rocked over anyway. I don't get excited about many concerts.
- 43:13Speaker 1: This this one will be cool. Yes, that's that's a
- 43:15Speaker 1: good one. Good. Oh, here's there's another one on the
- 43:19Speaker 1: On the text they say that the other one does
- 43:22Speaker 1: it for them? Is Metallica? Remember this song I Disappear?
- 43:26Speaker 1: It was on the Mission Impossible? Hell yeah you remember
- 43:31Speaker 1: this song?
- 43:31Speaker 9: Right?
- 43:31Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 43:32Speaker 1: Oh for sure?
- 43:33Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah?
- 43:35Speaker 1: How was Metallican? None of us? They maybe you want
- 43:36Speaker 1: to snort coke off of a hooker's ass. It's the
- 43:38Speaker 1: six sixth one agreed. Yeah, my favorite part is coming
- 43:44Speaker 1: up there we go ready four Greg, I'm ready? Yes
- 43:51Speaker 1: see they do the facts phils. Yeah how six to
- 44:01Speaker 1: six says that was a gay speeding lish Yeah exactly.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 1: That makes me want to speed over my boyfriend's house
- 44:09Speaker 1: and put his nethers in my mouth. Suit. That's a
- 44:19Speaker 1: good song, right there, I don't here here you are? Yeah?
- 44:21Speaker 1: All right, anyway, well we'll take a quick break and
- 44:24Speaker 1: we'll have some more woody show next.
- 44:26Speaker 7: Hang on.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's other. D oh there's another great song from
- 44:36Speaker 1: Metallica through the Never I know the title, yeah it was.
- 44:41Speaker 1: It was track seven on the Black album m Yeah,
- 44:45Speaker 1: so good, what Love Go? So here you go Grey
- 44:55Speaker 1: what It's what we've been waiting for. Really, This forty
- 44:59Speaker 1: five old dude, he's been doing testosterone replacement therapy for
- 45:03Speaker 1: several years. He noticed that his balls were getting smaller
- 45:08Speaker 1: and smaller as a side effect of the therapy, and
- 45:14Speaker 1: he was self conscious about it, and he decided to
- 45:17Speaker 1: do something about it. He went in for a procedure
- 45:20Speaker 1: called scrophill It's a non surgical procedure where they inject
- 45:26Speaker 1: this like acid filler stuff into your bag to make
- 45:30Speaker 1: it look fuller, larger and heavier.
- 45:34Speaker 9: You know, I'm always complaining, like your balls larger and heavier.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Note he got this done in a medspa.
- 45:42Speaker 5: They do all signs of injectables.
- 45:45Speaker 1: He got his girth fill for his penis while he
- 45:47Speaker 1: was there. Hey, while you're down there. And a lot
- 45:50Speaker 1: of dudes have been lining up to get both filler
- 45:53Speaker 1: injections done, and most of them say it's not painful
- 45:55Speaker 1: because they use a numbing agent and some anesthetic and
- 45:58Speaker 1: stuff like that. But I don't. You're wondering how much
- 46:02Speaker 1: how much most first time patients need between ten and
- 46:06Speaker 1: fifteen syringes worth the fillero and the first ten syringes
- 46:11Speaker 1: will cost you about seven five hundred bucks each. Additional
- 46:15Speaker 1: syringe costs an extra six hundred bucks. The results they
- 46:18Speaker 1: say could last for about two to three years, but
- 46:21Speaker 1: a reup on the filler is recommended every twelve to
- 46:23Speaker 1: eighteen months. Oh my god, do it. So you got
- 46:26Speaker 1: to have a decent job just to pay for your
- 46:29Speaker 1: scroll fill.
- 46:30Speaker 9: It's worth it, dude, may be a grower and a shower.
- 46:33Speaker 1: You like a blind person not having the stick. I
- 46:35Speaker 1: mean like you need it. You need it. It's a necessity.
- 46:39Speaker 5: I wonder if those penile injectibles actually work, like the
- 46:43Speaker 5: scrot them thing. I'm with Gina, like who ever complained like, yeah,
- 46:48Speaker 5: your scrotum doesn't look full in it?
- 46:50Speaker 7: Right?
- 46:50Speaker 1: So hey, honey, I have to read you this this email.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta find it. But this guy was
- 46:56Speaker 1: gay dude was saying we have it all wrong about
- 46:57Speaker 1: balls and that gay dudes love balls and they're like
- 47:01Speaker 1: doing things with balls, and he goes and they notice
- 47:05Speaker 1: the look and like he goes, there's some like basically
- 47:07Speaker 1: hot balls, Like yeah, like like like depending on like
- 47:11Speaker 1: how low they hang or like.
- 47:12Speaker 4: How whatever elephant skin.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Yeah, the proportion you know, to the rest of what's
- 47:17Speaker 1: going on there, Like you could have like a nice
- 47:20Speaker 1: set of balls, or you could have like something, you know,
- 47:23Speaker 1: extra fugly. Yeah, they're old man hanging down whatever. Yeah. Yeah,
- 47:28Speaker 1: yeah exactly. Then I think we all agree on that. Yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 1: So Greg, I mean, do you do you notice a
- 47:32Speaker 1: set of balls, like, oh, wow, there's a nice balls
- 47:34Speaker 1: as a gay man, That's what he was arguing.
- 47:37Speaker 5: No, but there's one are you blind? One thing that
- 47:40Speaker 5: you noticed well that you noticed that I noticed, Like
- 47:43Speaker 5: sometimes you notice if they're incredibly small, and they're not proportional.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Okay, well that's what he was saying.
- 47:48Speaker 9: But the proportional Okay, that's so funny because when you
- 47:50Speaker 9: look at all those old timey statues from you know,
- 47:53Speaker 9: however thousands of years ago, big giant because that and
- 47:57Speaker 9: like teeny tiny little peckers, because that was the look
- 48:00Speaker 9: like they it was equated with intelligence.
- 48:03Speaker 1: They wanted big balls, small wiener and very groomed statues,
- 48:07Speaker 1: like you give me tiny balls all day. If I
- 48:11Speaker 1: have a giant log that bigger. Yeah, so what I'm
- 48:15Speaker 1: saying you could remove them for a giant cool.
- 48:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree, but it's a trend of the times.
- 48:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and you got to do it every year and
- 48:25Speaker 1: a half. Ladies, like when the guy's pants come off,
- 48:27Speaker 1: do you take a look and go, wow, nice balls
- 48:29Speaker 1: or they?
- 48:31Speaker 3: I mean you notice if they are gross and hanging
- 48:33Speaker 3: down too far on your dates.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Because you want the older guys which there hanging out
- 48:40Speaker 1: on the ground.
- 48:47Speaker 2: I think this is.
- 48:52Speaker 1: So John Tapper, you know John.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Rescue.
- 48:58Speaker 1: So he's got the opinion on what happened to people
- 49:02Speaker 1: going out and drinking. Oh, because you keep hearing man
- 49:05Speaker 1: the numbers, they're just getting crushed. He says, everything is down,
- 49:08Speaker 1: beer consumption, wine, seltz or spirits, all of it down.
- 49:12Speaker 1: It's a billion dollars. Yeah, and you know these people
- 49:14Speaker 1: are running these businesses and stuff and like, damn, what happened? Yeah,
- 49:18Speaker 1: what the hell happened? He said it was during the pandemic.
- 49:22Speaker 1: It was the training ground for people who just got
- 49:27Speaker 1: acclimated to making drinks at home for themselves or maybe
- 49:30Speaker 1: having just a couple people come over and they're like,
- 49:32Speaker 1: this ain't so bad.
- 49:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I get you, it's cheaper.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I kind of like it. Yeah, you don't have to
- 49:37Speaker 1: go anywhere and just maybe just go over to like
- 49:39Speaker 1: someone's house. So they said that was kind of you know,
- 49:43Speaker 1: they noticed I guess, you know, looking at all the numbers,
- 49:46Speaker 1: and he works with a bunch of different bars and
- 49:47Speaker 1: stuff like That's that. That's really where it never came
- 49:51Speaker 1: back after COVID. It was already going down before COVID,
- 49:54Speaker 1: but he said it really took a hit. It never
- 49:56Speaker 1: rebounded obviously after that.
- 49:58Speaker 7: Well, he's not addressing those just drinking in general is down.
- 50:01Speaker 7: It's not like everybody's having home cocktail parties all the time,
- 50:04Speaker 7: but the people. But as far as the bar business
- 50:07Speaker 7: right going.
- 50:07Speaker 4: They didn't just stop drinking they're just drinking at home, Yes, but.
- 50:10Speaker 1: They did though they also they also cut down on drinking.
- 50:13Speaker 1: Drinking itself was down. Friday is still the favorite day
- 50:16Speaker 1: to have a drink. Turns out a lot of people
- 50:19Speaker 1: don't even want to have at a bar restaurant. Thirty
- 50:21Speaker 1: two percent now prefer at home happy hour.
- 50:24Speaker 5: But even pre pandemic, I always thought in movies and
- 50:26Speaker 5: TV shows, you see the guy who's in a bad
- 50:28Speaker 5: mood go to the bar order a shot, and I think,
- 50:30Speaker 5: just do that at home.
- 50:33Speaker 1: What are you doing? I want to go random people.
- 50:37Speaker 7: Well, the other thing from like TV and movies is
- 50:39Speaker 7: like the guy with like the unemployed guy would be
- 50:40Speaker 7: at the bar every day exactly.
- 50:47Speaker 1: This forty year old mom in Utah, she's in trouble
- 50:50Speaker 1: after she tried to be the life of the party.
- 50:52Speaker 1: She was hosting a party and as the hostess, she
- 50:55Speaker 1: wanted to make sure that everyone had a good time,
- 50:57Speaker 1: so she handed out alcohol. Come on, was it was
- 51:00Speaker 1: a kid's birthday partyers, So the police got a call
- 51:05Speaker 1: about the alcohol after a parent of one of those
- 51:07Speaker 1: kids got picked up and noticed that their kid was
- 51:09Speaker 1: drunk read the booth. So the cops show up at
- 51:13Speaker 1: the house and they were immediately greeted by a miner
- 51:15Speaker 1: who was struggling just to get off the floor. Six
- 51:20Speaker 1: of the kids there at the house were drunk, one
- 51:22Speaker 1: of them passed out on the floor with the bottle.
- 51:26Speaker 1: The mom was arrested and uh, yeah, it's it's stuff
- 51:29Speaker 1: like providing alcohol to minors, child abuse, greg aggravated child abuse.
- 51:34Speaker 4: How old were the kids?
- 51:36Speaker 1: It didn't it just said miners. My wife and I
- 51:43Speaker 1: have decided that we are not going to be that
- 51:45Speaker 1: house where it's oh, just give me your keys, you know,
- 51:48Speaker 1: with the friends coming over, Oh just hand me your kids.
- 51:53Speaker 1: We have some neighbors across the street. She's a therapist,
- 51:55Speaker 1: he's a lawyer, and they both know people from their
- 51:59Speaker 1: respective uh professions who have dealt with that. And it's
- 52:03Speaker 1: a nightmare. Oh for sure, it's a nightmare because people
- 52:08Speaker 1: or people still leave the house and like one kid
- 52:11Speaker 1: left the house where they collected everybody's keys and just
- 52:13Speaker 1: let them drink there ended up getting hit in the
- 52:15Speaker 1: middle of the street because they were walking.
- 52:17Speaker 4: So it's not just about driving, right.
- 52:19Speaker 1: So it's not just the driving. You need to worry
- 52:21Speaker 1: about you. You got to like lock them down. They
- 52:22Speaker 1: can't leave the house. And if they do, and you
- 52:24Speaker 1: were there and you were aware that they were, you know,
- 52:27Speaker 1: you were contributing to that. You're so screwed.
- 52:30Speaker 9: Now, when did you start having if you did, which
- 52:32Speaker 9: I'm assuming you did, start having these talks because I
- 52:35Speaker 9: got a ten year old and I've already been like
- 52:37Speaker 9: when you're older and all, blah blah blah blah blah,
- 52:39Speaker 9: I will be the no questions asked, I'm coming to
- 52:41Speaker 9: get you parent. You know, like if you if your
- 52:44Speaker 9: drunk friends try to get you in a car with them,
- 52:46Speaker 9: you call me, no questions asked, I'm coming to get you.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Yeah. They know a lot about that. And what's interesting
- 52:51Speaker 1: is that they they're they're super aware of vaping. Yeah,
- 52:55Speaker 1: and not just like right like your flawn vape so good.
- 53:00Speaker 1: I highly recommend stuff. And so they're they're really good.
- 53:05Speaker 1: They're very turned off. But you can tell because like
- 53:07Speaker 1: we don't initiate that conversation. They they this kid was
- 53:10Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah, and who Yeah, oh they know
- 53:14Speaker 1: they do. They do know people. But at the same time,
- 53:17Speaker 1: it's not appealing to them, and I understand it because
- 53:20Speaker 1: when I was their age, like, it didn't seem appealing
- 53:22Speaker 1: to me either, Like that smoking I tried. I tried smoking,
- 53:27Speaker 1: I'm saying, but like the drinking, the actual drugs, like
- 53:30Speaker 1: that stuff did not seem appealing to me at all.
- 53:32Speaker 1: In fact, I told you, I was worried that in
- 53:35Speaker 1: my mind, that whole don't say, you know, just say no,
- 53:38Speaker 1: don't do drugs thing they say. It didn't work. It
- 53:40Speaker 1: worked for me hooked. No. I was convinced that if
- 53:44Speaker 1: you tried cocaine you died, your heart would explode. I
- 53:50Speaker 1: thought that you missed about thirty years. I know, yeah,
- 53:54Speaker 1: there's that, and then you know, this is your brain
- 53:56Speaker 1: on drugs, your frying your brain Like that worked.
- 53:59Speaker 9: It worked for me pretty hard with the hard drugs.
- 54:01Speaker 9: But you felt that way about.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Weed all of it. Because the other part was is
- 54:05Speaker 1: that I was you know, by the time I was
- 54:08Speaker 1: like a senior in high school, I was full time
- 54:09Speaker 1: on the on the radio. I had a job doing
- 54:12Speaker 1: what I wanted to do, and people are getting busted
- 54:15Speaker 1: for that stuff, and I'm like, that's not how I
- 54:17Speaker 1: was going to lose my job.
- 54:18Speaker 4: You already had like your career. I had nothing going on.
- 54:21Speaker 2: I was.
- 54:23Speaker 10: Well.
- 54:23Speaker 1: I say, like I told you, I wish I would
- 54:25Speaker 1: have gone to college just for the social aspect of it.
- 54:28Speaker 4: Awesome, for the.
- 54:29Speaker 1: You know, the partying and the indiscriminate sex and get
- 54:33Speaker 1: high and skipping class. Yeah, I was like the hardcore drugs.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I was afraid. I was afraid that I would die
- 54:40Speaker 1: and then weed. I was afraid I would get arrested. Yeah,
- 54:43Speaker 1: that's the thing. I really did anything, dude. I have
- 54:45Speaker 1: a goal to never get arrested. That's my goal. Goal, right,
- 54:48Speaker 1: I think it.
- 54:50Speaker 5: Right, It's attainable, and as far as Gina goes, I
- 54:54Speaker 5: have a hard time believing that. Fast forward a few years.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Your kid calls you and says, I'm with a bunch
- 54:59Speaker 5: of friend I'm an hour away from home. They want
- 55:01Speaker 5: me to get into a car. They're all drunk. You're
- 55:04Speaker 5: going to pick them up and not ask one question.
- 55:08Speaker 1: She would be that way. I think you would be
- 55:10Speaker 1: that way. One question. You know who her steps on.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I don't think would ever call in a million years
- 55:15Speaker 1: her husband. Oh yeah, he's kind of a helicopter.
- 55:18Speaker 4: He'd get a phone.
- 55:19Speaker 1: True, I would.
- 55:20Speaker 4: I would pick up that kid in a heartbeat.
- 55:22Speaker 3: Questions you just don't get in quote unquote trouble.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Well, but that's the thing, it's like, what questions do
- 55:26Speaker 4: I have? I know why I'm coming to get you.
- 55:28Speaker 4: I know what's going on over there.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Yeah, like I get it.
- 55:31Speaker 6: I would pick him up, but I would just be like,
- 55:33Speaker 6: what are you You have.
- 55:35Speaker 1: To have the conversation, Like you're not going to be
- 55:38Speaker 1: necessarily in trouble because you did the right thing. You
- 55:40Speaker 1: called me, But we're going to have a conversation.
- 55:41Speaker 4: But you but you don't lead with that or they
- 55:43Speaker 4: won't call you.
- 55:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:45Speaker 1: So this guy, he was visiting Vegas. He was staying
- 55:47Speaker 1: at the super classy three star Flamingo Hotel and Casino.
- 55:52Speaker 4: I love that place, is nice, you do.
- 55:55Speaker 1: It's got an actual Flamingo habitat there, and I know
- 55:59Speaker 1: this dude had been drinking all night and around five
- 56:01Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning he got into the habitat. He
- 56:04Speaker 1: grabbed one of the birds, his flamingo named Peachy, and
- 56:08Speaker 1: took off with the bird back to his room. There's
- 56:13Speaker 1: a bunch of pictures of him on the internet running
- 56:15Speaker 1: down the hall with the bird. So police recall the
- 56:18Speaker 1: arrest of the guy the casino is definitely pressing charges.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Now here's the other thing. The judge set the bail
- 56:24Speaker 1: at twelve thousand dollars and this guy he was visiting
- 56:27Speaker 1: from Canada and they made him surrender his passports. Now
- 56:30Speaker 1: he's stuck in Vegas. No way of making it back
- 56:33Speaker 1: to Canada. According to the article, I'm sure there's a
- 56:36Speaker 1: way to do it, but it's going to be a pain.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Hand with this bird, he was just being dropping.
- 56:42Speaker 7: I mean, hello, this is what the hangovers all about, is,
- 56:45Speaker 7: you know, animals and drunken chances.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I think I think the flamingo was injured, not killed,
- 56:52Speaker 1: because they did find a feather with some blood on it.
- 56:56Speaker 4: Now we got to put this guy down.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's over for him. This chicken Pennsylvania, she's
- 57:01Speaker 1: a school bus driver. She accidentally crashed the bus full
- 57:04Speaker 1: of kids into a snow bank. According to the report,
- 57:07Speaker 1: she was swerving through traffic the entire time, almost hit
- 57:10Speaker 1: some other cars several different occasions on that and after
- 57:13Speaker 1: all the kids were safe and accounted for, the police
- 57:15Speaker 1: they searched the bus. They found an open bottle of vodka,
- 57:19Speaker 1: two smaller empty bottles. Man turn in up nice. So
- 57:23Speaker 1: the cops. They gave her a breathalyzer and she was
- 57:25Speaker 1: four times the legal limit. I'm not missing work for years.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I'm going so not only hit with the dui, but
- 57:36Speaker 1: also fifty four counts of endangering the welfare of children
- 57:40Speaker 1: because there were a.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Hell of kids on the bus, that many of them
- 57:44Speaker 3: on a bus.
- 57:45Speaker 1: Yeah, are you kidding? Yeah, so because on the school
- 57:53Speaker 1: bus there's multiple Yeah, short, I'm familiar.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Tired.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe maybe you did the short bus. So yeah,
- 58:04Speaker 1: on the school bus, you know how many roads there
- 58:06Speaker 1: are on the one side, and these are kids, these
- 58:08Speaker 1: aren't adults. Right on the right side, it's a three seat,
- 58:12Speaker 1: and on the on the others, like if you're facing
- 58:14Speaker 1: towards the back of the bus, on the right sides
- 58:16Speaker 1: the three seaters and then on the other sides the
- 58:19Speaker 1: two kids in that seat. Also not x number of rows,
- 58:22Speaker 1: that's fifty four conservative. The ass of the bus hangs
- 58:26Speaker 1: out out way for wheels, the tires. Yeah, that's why
- 58:30Speaker 1: we like to sit back. There was bouncy. Yeah, also
- 58:34Speaker 1: like to used to flip off the drivers that were
- 58:35Speaker 1: behind it. Well, the cool kids stat back there. Yeah, yeah,
- 58:39Speaker 1: we always have like the back two rows ye and
- 58:42Speaker 1: we would rotate. Get to the back, Yeah, we would
- 58:44Speaker 1: rotate who got to sit in the very back because
- 58:45Speaker 1: you had the windows then you but you were also
- 58:48Speaker 1: that if you were in those seats, you were tasked
- 58:50Speaker 1: with flipping off Yeah. Yeah, flipping off the cars that
- 58:55Speaker 1: were behind you. Somebody, especially cops.
- 58:58Speaker 6: Them the rules the t bone are us on the
- 59:00Speaker 6: way to school, so we got to go to school late.
- 59:07Speaker 7: We're gonna gazin tight to say anything.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Yeah, actually somebody somebody did say after hours voiceming hold
- 59:17Speaker 1: on all.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Right, First off, Woody, just like your bidet, you need
- 59:22Speaker 2: to go ahead and use the squatty potty so you
- 59:26Speaker 2: can stop knocking and try it. I got to the day,
- 59:29Speaker 2: uh squatty potty combo. Just just just go ahead and
- 59:31Speaker 2: do it.
- 59:32Speaker 1: And get it over with.
- 59:32Speaker 2: You've got something to talk about on the show.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Well, then I eat my red beans and rice and
- 59:37Speaker 1: zatan whatever.
- 59:39Speaker 2: The second, I have an unpopular opinion. I'm not sure
- 59:42Speaker 2: how the general public feels about this, but if you sneeze,
- 59:46Speaker 2: you should be the one saying, excuse me, why do
- 59:50Speaker 2: I have to say blessing? Why am I blessing you
- 59:54Speaker 2: when you're the one splaying your mouth miss if if
- 59:58Speaker 2: I sees you know, even regardless of what I covered
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: my mouth or not, I'm always troubling my mouth because
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: I'm not trifling. But you trouble your mouth, it doesn't matter.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I always say, excuse me, excuse me for you know,
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: for spraying my mouth missed or or releasing my mouth
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: missed everywhere.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Right, And that's that.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: And lastly, you didn't really lose nobody with whoever that
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: was calling in talking about being offended by the black
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: card segment y'all had or whatever. Every First of all,
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: I would pro I would gladly speak up for the
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: black community and say that we are extremely annoyed when
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: white people like to be offended on behalf of us,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: as if we cannot be offended or matter of fact,
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: what did they get dropped off from Mars or something
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: like we when we offended? You hear it coming around?
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: You know, you know what it is? What it is, man,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: So whatever that it was a waste of time. You
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: guys didn't even need to even use that, but you
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: know it is what it is, Uh, menace bond what
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: to do? Everybody else?
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: Well, I I do believe that's like that is the
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: most offensive thing that white people do is speak on
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: behalf of other cultures, like other cultures are not strong
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: enough to speak on their on behalf of.
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: One of the most egregious ones that ever was when
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: Mawana first came out and all the kids wanted to
- 1:01:28Speaker 9: wear it like the mo Wana costumes with Halloween, and
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: white people got to take it off the shelves for
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: a cultural appropriation.
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: Just can't have nice things. We're going past the main
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: point here. Let's let's what's important. But that's what I
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: thought were he hates kind of like any kind of
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: other greeting or what like when you don't you doesn't
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: want you to say bless you, God, bless you.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Let's it's salia.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: It's it's superstitious and based on nothing, and it doesn't it's.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: You are trying to They do it to be polite.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: That's like a commanders thing.
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: It's from the bubonic player.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: But I do I do believe what he said. I
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: do believe what he said that that's the way it
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: should be. Like I can say it. Yeah, like if
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I fart, I'll go excuse me. Nobody goes bless you.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yeah, you go oh sorry
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: if you belch, oh sorry, excuse me, like nobody goes,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: oh God bless you when when you rip a belch
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: or something. So that does make sense.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Let's change that is.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: You know, it wouldn't be a Friday if we didn't
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: have some Friday failed story. And my problem this week, guys,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: what I have so many that there's no way I
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: can even get to all of them without this just
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: being ridiculously over the top long round of the fail story.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: So I'm I'm picking my fame, my absolute favorite. Yeah,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Friday fail stories here alright, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: it is time for the Friday foul start. I think
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: the fact you have the perfect plan, the plan that
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: can never go wrong. But then somewhere along the line
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: it went from being a great idea to one big
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: stake in Mega uber Ultra. It was it was it
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: started nice. Really, it wasn't jarring to get into it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: It was it was nice, smooth. I don't think it'll
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: get I thought that was pretty good.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Well, Sea Bass mentioned this one earlier in the week,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: and I do have a Oh here we go, that's
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: why where's my where's mcclayp where's my clip?
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: So, uh, some new license plates in Pennsylvania. They've been
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: causing people to get these toll bills sent to them
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: for charges that don't belong to them because the new
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: plates they have slashes through zeros so they don't get
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: confused with the letter. Oh but but now the zeros
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: look like eights to these automated plate readers that they
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: have set up everywhere. So this this is someone from
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: the Pennsylvania Turn Turnpike Commission that were on the news
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: talking about this.
- 1:05:02Speaker 12: There are some confusions between the numbers zero and the
- 1:05:06Speaker 12: number eight. This is an issue that not only impacting
- 1:05:09Speaker 12: us to the tolling industry, but also agencies that use
- 1:05:12Speaker 12: license plate recognition software in other ways. It's not a
- 1:05:15Speaker 12: snap of the finger and it's fixed, unfortunately, it's something
- 1:05:18Speaker 12: that machine learning. That's something it's gonna have to learn
- 1:05:21Speaker 12: and recognize over time.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Uh huh so new what Yeah, there's there's no because
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: that's not the that's not how it works. It just
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Oh you can as easily as you turn it on. Yeah,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: you could turn it off until you figure out the
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: software and get it to work properly. In the meantime,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: what they're doing is they're going to continue to send
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: these out. Hope people aren't paying attention to go, oh,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I'm must and they're just going to write the check
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: or just pay it, and they'll have money coming in
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: for stuff that never even happened.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: That's like some mom that's.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's what's gonna happen, all right. This one's
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: from New York. This dude he was selling drugs while
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: he was at work. Yeah, he was busted selling adderall
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: sometimes right out of his vehicle. Now, a couple of things.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: This guy was a police officer. In the car that
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: he was selling the adderall out of it was a
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: department issued police cruiser.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: Way easier to find that guy.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: They initially thought it was like a one time thing.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Turns out, no, you had done this numerous times. Long
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: story short, he's no longer a police officer, and he
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: was a DARE instructor, which is that program that works
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: to keep kids off drugs and.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, sales hustle, rip the plug.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Forty different charges for that guy. This is one from
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Florida where another police officers in the news and he
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: himself is in some trouble. He clocked in over two
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: hundred hours of fake overtime just to go see his girlfriend.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: So he's been an officer for over eleven years, and
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: accordings to the reports, he would just casually clock in
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: for work and when he went over to her house,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: you know, just hang out and he's he's on the clock,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: on the clock. Police records showed that he clocked in
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: those two hundred hours just over the span of three months,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: earning him a total of fourteen thousand dollars in unearned
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: pay mistake. Now, for his troubles, he was arrested, charged
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: with three third degree felonies, all which could earn him
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: a max of fifteen years in prison. Now, the kicker,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: his girlfriend was his boss.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: Oh this keeps getting She definitely signed.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: They got greedy, They done that.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: She actually had nothing to do with it. Officials say
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: that she should have followed protocol and disclosed the relationship. However,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: to their knowledge and everything they see, she really did
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: have no idea that he was clocking in for overtime.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: And because she didn't sign off on his time, she
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I guess somebody else did that. Yeah, but yeah, he sailed. Yeah,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: he was putting at work.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, yeah, you know, if you
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: wanted to, he would.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Ladies, the admissions department at BYU made a huge mistakes
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: and welcome letters out to nine different students, and the
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: problem is that all nine of those students were rejected
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: and they got the letters accidentally. Yeah, students disappointed, the parents,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: they're pissed and all this backlash. The school made everything
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: right and they said the nine students who receive the
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: acceptance letters would be allowed to enroll if they choose to.
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: There's nine kids.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Now you have to have these underachievers. Yeah, let's see
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: how much I got time for one more? All right? See,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: let me pick a good one. Oh, this is good.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: So this is from across the pond, you guys, so
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: you know it's even cool. Dude in England, he was
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: pulled over by the police. They noted that his driving
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: was rubbish and they noticed that he had a defective
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: brake light. So they walk up to the car and
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: as soon as he rolled the window down, they'd immediately
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: just got a nose full of weed. They gave him
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: a drug test and guess what what he was high.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Now here's the thing about this story. The dude was
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: in the middle of his driver's test. So there's the
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: driving instructor in the car with him. Yeah. Now, obviously
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: he failed the test, so no license for you. No
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: word on what the instructor had to say, but I
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: guess the instructor was not high.
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: He had no idea he got hot box. He was
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: definitely high.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: The student driver was arrested, charged with drugged driving. Yep,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: call it now, dude, did you get pulled over during
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: your driver's test?
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: Do you take your own car to the driving test?
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh so he probably just got high before and
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: then went yeah.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: You like you didn't have to use your own car.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: No, I never had to take a drive like a
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: physical driving test that really had to do a written one.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: How is that possible? Because that was the rule back.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: In Texas in the day. They changed it I think
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: a few years after.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I really, yeah, I didn't have to do too much.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: It was kind of like a closed course kind of thing. Oh,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: we did it just out in public, same taught.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: So my dad just signed off on ours. How old
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: were you when you got your license? Sixteen? Like oh wow, okay, yeah, so.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: We had to go to like a police barracks. This
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: is in Pittsburgh, d I did the written did that,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: and then you go outside and like wait in line,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: and then you're turning and you get in the car,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: your car, and then it was like I had to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: go down this little hill, but it's all like this
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: this back area. Yeah, and it was like a like
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: some couple like turning like around bend and stuff. And
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: then and then you had to pull into a parking spot,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: back out of a parking spot, and then parallel park,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: and then you had to do a three point turn
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: like god, you know, turn the left back up and
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: then go back the other way down the street. And
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: then that was it.
- 1:10:33Speaker 9: Now obvious I could see you being really good at that, obviously,
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: but kids who should not be driving, that would be
- 1:10:38Speaker 9: the easiest thing to pass a.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: Closed court like.
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: In the real world. Yea, exactly the DMV. Yeah, you
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: met at the DMV. But this will make you feel good, Greg.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: So now I know all these people who have gone
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: on to work for the airlines, you know, as I've
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: been doing this like fighting a fight school stuff, And
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: it turns out that people who the first time they
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: ever fly like a Boeing seven thirty seven is when
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: they have a plane full of passengers. Oh yeah, like really,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the entire time learning how to fly that plane all
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: in simulators, didn't need to hear that.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: The very first time is with passengers.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, now they're not the captain of that flight,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: like they're working with somebody who's done ability of these.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: But your first time actually flying that plane, like the
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: actual plane is when you're on the job and you
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: got a plane full of pasts.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: They ever announced that, like, hey, congratulate captain.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Get on his first actual landing.
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: You get off the plane. Yeah.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Yeah, And we were recently talking it's just too expensive.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: It's too expensive to like just have these things flying
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: around the training carbon.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Empty plane Nathan Filder did.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: Yeah, But we were talking about driver's tests recently, and
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: I remember at the first time I did the driving test,
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: I failed because I sped because I didn't want the
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: guy to think I was a door.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: That's right, right more. What he shows next name backing
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: him in Soco Sports with the gee Jeff course Yo,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Happy Friday, Jeff Chi, what's up, Happy Friday? What do
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: you show?
- 1:12:13Speaker 13: Let's ahead start with our Lakers. They were down early
- 1:12:16Speaker 13: but came all the way back in the second half,
- 1:12:18Speaker 13: but unfortunately lost to the Nuggets.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Won twenty one thirteen.
- 1:12:21Speaker 13: Lebron made history again though last nighters with that Donkey
- 1:12:28Speaker 13: tied Kareem for the all time NBA field goal record,
- 1:12:31Speaker 13: then he broke it a few plays later. Lakers and
- 1:12:34Speaker 13: Pacers tonight at seven thirty at Crypto, then the Knicks
- 1:12:37Speaker 13: at Crypto on Sunday. By the way, Lucas complaining continues.
- 1:12:41Speaker 13: He got another tech last night, one more and he's suspended.
- 1:12:45Speaker 13: Moving on to the Clippers there in San Antonio tonight
- 1:12:48Speaker 13: in Memphis tomorrow. World Baseball Classic. Otani was at it again.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Oani, it is good.
- 1:12:59Speaker 13: Japan beat Chinese Taipei thirteen to nothing. Today in the
- 1:13:03Speaker 13: WBC USA versus Brazil, and Mexico versus Great Britain. NHL
- 1:13:08Speaker 13: Kings beat the Islanders last night five to one.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Canadians and Kings Maniana.
- 1:13:12Speaker 13: Then Ducks Montreal tonight in Orange County, then Ducks and
- 1:13:15Speaker 13: Blues on Sunday. MLS tomorrow LAFC at home versus Dallas,
- 1:13:20Speaker 13: and the Galaxy are on the road in Colorado. Also tomorrow,
- 1:13:24Speaker 13: UFC three twenty six Holloway versus alived at two. By
- 1:13:28Speaker 13: the way, Congratulations, to Morgan on booking your first fight
- 1:13:31Speaker 13: which you knocked that be out, all right and husband
- 1:13:33Speaker 13: at least this morning Woodie Show. Cal State Bakersfield's assistant
- 1:13:37Speaker 13: basketball coach Kevin Mays was busted for moonlighting as a
- 1:13:41Speaker 13: pimp across four states. He's now being held without bond
- 1:13:45Speaker 13: for charges of pimping, possession of weed, meth, guns, and
- 1:13:50Speaker 13: possession of child pornography. Crazy story. And I hope you
- 1:13:53Speaker 13: rotten jail, dude. I'm jeffg.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: And that's your so col sports Hyrea is Jeff Juju.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: The Wooden Show.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: There's a text that came in Good Morning Friends. Here
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: is my unpopular, controversial opinion. People on death row should
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: be used for testing instead of animals. They're gonna die anyway, Mosborne.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Use them for something good, to contribute to society. It's
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: not controversial. That's a great idea. I love that.
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: It's an interesting take.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: It'll never happen. Unfortunately, no one's going to volunteer for that.
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: I don't know, do something for your sins if it
- 1:14:31Speaker 7: was something where like you know, like I'm like not
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: like something that's gonna.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Hurt you, I know, but I like makeup. But again,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: people who are on death row did really heinous things.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: So I'm more for the idea that they have no
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: say in it and they just get that they know
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: that there's gonna be tested on. That's great Fourth Amendment.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I love that. Uh here's what we're talking about, taking
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: your driver's test. This one said. When I took my
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: driver's test, the highway patrolman had me parallel park behind
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: it car on the side of the road. He was
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: looking down, so I just pulled over and stopped behind it.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: He looked up and said all right, and then continued
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: on the test. Never had the parallel park.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: That's the kind of instructure I want.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Way to do it. Sound sounds good. Oh hey. Cursive
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: handwriting is making a comeback. More states are requiring that
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: kids learn it in school again.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: I tried it the other day because I hadn't done
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: it in a thousand years. I think I forgot.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: New Jersey and Pennsylvania are the latest to bring it back.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: I've got a workbook you can use. I might need
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: that when you write.
- 1:15:31Speaker 9: When you write as an adult, isn't it a combo
- 1:15:34Speaker 9: of print in cursive totals?
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: Never mind?
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Mine, I print and then my signature obviously is my
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: signature is a scribble, but it's it's in the style
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: of curse.
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: But when you're.
- 1:15:47Speaker 9: Writing really fast, you don't do a combo of both together.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: When I'm writing really fast, it's just chicken scratch because
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: I'm Sometimes i'll abbreviate because it's just something that I need.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Making a note for myself. Someone's telling me something I'm
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: surprised by that, I'll make an abbreviation because.
- 1:16:03Speaker 5: If I write notes to myself and misspell or have
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: to cross to, I'll just start over.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Are you seriously? Yeah, I'm saying saying, just a note
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: that I'm jotting down, Like if on the phone with
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: somebody and they go, oh, here, I can give it.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Oh hey, yeah, hold on one second. I'll just grab
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: a scrap of something right on in the back of
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: an envelope and i'm I'm I'm writing I'm making so
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: I at least understand what it is the I'm When
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: I get off the phone, I can stop, look out
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: and go all right, I got it now, I know it.
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: Do you ever forget what you meant?
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, I'll make a note for something that like
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: somebody said, oh, hey, we should do a segment X
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Y Z, and I make a quick note totally what
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: was this again? Sometimes i'll bring it up, Hey, what
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: were we talking about?
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: Can't help you?
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: Yeah, I've rewritten notes that are slopping.
- 1:16:46Speaker 6: See if I still remember how to do it, I'll yeah.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: That's nice. It from here, I can't see from here.
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: How long did you guys even do cursive for?
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I didn't have to do it in high school.
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: I think there was only like a three year period
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: of fourth to sixth grade.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it probably ended right around like junior high.
- 1:17:05Speaker 8: Okay, because I remember it being like, oh, you're gonna
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: need this in high school and college, and we needed
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: to do one sentence on the SATs.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: But I never did cursive in high school, you know what?
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I do remember having to write certain reports English agents
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: something like that. Yeah, I remember having to do that
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: in in cursive English. Any live English test I think
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: was in cursive and go through high school.
- 1:17:27Speaker 9: I'm shocked to hear like if we write thank you
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: notes and stuff or like, you know that that's always incursive.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I just do all calfs oh, Greg to your point, Yeah,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: if I'm writing a note to somebody, yes, like in
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: a card i'm writing something and I mess up one
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: little thing, I'll go rebuy the card. Wow, I've done that. Yeah.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Like if it's my mom's birthday card, and I'm.
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: Like, I have like an actual calendar at home, like
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: in the kitchen to you know, don't forget to do
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: this or doctor's appointment. And if I make something sloppy,
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: I'm so pissed because I can't rip out the whole page.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: So the note, like my mom's birthday card, I only
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: have so much space. I go, okay, I know how
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: much space I have to work with. What I'll do
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: is I'll work the thought out on my phone. I'll
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: type it out and I go Okay. That way I
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: can look out and go, this is what I'm writing,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: And that way I have less chance of jacking it
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: out and having to go buy a new car.
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: I did it too, but I write it out on
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: a test piece of paper.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: I always write the same thing. Have a cool summary.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Show Where's there's Morgan? Ever? Come back in? Got questions
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: about her fight? Oh? I have an observation about her
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: fight too? Okay, well here she comes, hold on here
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: she is? Yeah, So the name stuck now because it's
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: on the poster, right, Morgan Victory. Yeah, she needed like
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: a name and we were going to try to brainstorm
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: one out for but then they went they released the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: poster and it says Morgan Victory cook.
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: I like it, but why?
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: But why?
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: Well, my middle name's Victorious. So I've all and I
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: created my first Twitter account whenever that was back in
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: the day. It's like, what can I think of? And
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: that's what I thought of?
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: So yeah, all right, so where do we stand now?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Like where I thinks do you have any more details
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: about the like the timing of it, Like when's the
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: press conference?
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: Press conference is going to be like the week before
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: I believe it's not the same week of the fuck isn't.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like, yeah, you got to hype it up
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: because you're.
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: Doing yeah like is usually say I do that on zoom.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: And then the other question people are wondering, like where
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: do they go for the pay per view, Like how
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: do they see that?
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's I'm going to have links that you
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: can buy from. Don't buy them yet because I actually
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: get a portion of the sales that I zoom, right,
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: so whenever they send me that link, you.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Know, Okay, So yours a specific link right that way
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: it gets credited to you.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: To me, Yeah, don't do it yet, but I'll let
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: you know. I'll have links. I think we're on the street.
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: It's like thirty bucks or something. Okay, not too much,
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: but you know a lot considering watching. And I did
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: find out too, and I'm it is what it is,
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: but I'm not happy about it. The fight itself is
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: three rounds, which is so short for boxing, and one
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: and a half minutes each round.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: It is so quick.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: This bitch is scared. Man.
- 1:20:12Speaker 6: What it is?
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: I don't know if that's what it is, but I
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: know she gets.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: To determine how long the rounds are, how many rounds
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: there are.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: I don't think she does.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Okay, so why so it's always that's just part of
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the trash talk. I get it now. I'm sorry, but
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: it's it's part of a boxing.
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: I'm happy it's no head gear. But yeah, three three.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Rounds, so that's, by the way, that's consistent for amateurs.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess, soutes, that's correct.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: How's your endurance?
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Crazy?
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Good?
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Is it?
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: My spar We do three minute rounds and we do
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: about eight to.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Ten Okay, here's the other question based I'm okay, So
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I'm glad this came up because somebody said, I'm a
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: little concerned just because all the videos they've seen of you,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: and they're they're very much in the boxing this person.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: They see a lot of you sparring and stuff, but
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: not any kind of like actual like where you're putting contact,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: like a lot of like force behind your punches, and
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: then that could lead to some type of gassing out,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: you know, type of thing that could affect your endurance
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: because the training you're doing is like you're you're you're sparring.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Right, But I'm also not posting everything I'm doing.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: You know, they talk about preseason football games, right, like
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: nobody's going You don't really get a taste of true
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: NFL speed until you're in a regular season game kind
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: of thing.
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: That's exactly why I want to fight someone.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Yeah right, yeah, yeah, okay, But.
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I will say, in terms of what
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: I post online, that is like ten percent of what
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: I actually do, so I wouldn't base it on them.
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: Let's not forget the last Tyson fight. He posts these
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: four second videos of him just wailing on his trainer,
- 1:21:40Speaker 7: and he gets to the ring and he's done.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Now at your gym where you train, do you have
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: one of those like arcade style things where you punch
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: the thing and give you a score of how hard
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: how hard you hit?
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: There's a speed bag, but not talking about right.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Yeah, the run from across the room and then just
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: give it everything they have. That's just it.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: They're really popular right now.
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: I all times of Yeah, they're totally for our kids.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Do you know how to do the speed bag?
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not super good at it. I can do it,
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: you know, I have some but I can't do it
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: super super fast.
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: I will say this about the speedbag, and I've had
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: boxing coaches admit this. To me, it is the most
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: worthless thing because it's that's not a little that's not
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: a boxing movement, but you know box like, that's not
- 1:22:25Speaker 7: your rhythm in boxing.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: True.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: I mean maybe it's good if you're going to be
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: a drummer, keep a rhythm.
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: I think it's really good for is like a little
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: bit of shoulder endurance, keeping your arms up.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: But you can do that in a thousand Now shorts
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: like what's the get up on the so my.
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: Fight kid is ordered. They're making it right now. It's
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: going to be black and gold. I have the whole
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: robe and everything too, So it's going to be a
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: sports brawl. Show is going to be all over it.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: And then it's gonna be like a skirt type short cute. Yeah,
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: boxing going people they do that.
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: Yeah, guys likes it.
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: Problem some cuteness a skirt with a little like shorts.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Army.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Okay, I thought I was being supportive. I think you
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: were going for cute. I thought you were looking for
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: intimidating and like.
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: Oh my god, girl, are intimidated to say, it's gonna
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: be flattering on my legs. That's that's the idea there. Okay,
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: shorts with like gladiators. It's a boxing style. I don't know.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: You're just gonna train every single day.
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: I've been training every single day for a year and
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: a half now, So.
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: Yes, okay, cool, Well talk about your Can we talk
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: about your opponent for a second.
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: I was expecting it because this is you know, this
- 1:23:34Speaker 7: is ZEUS network adjacent to be just some like club rat.
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: The check that she's fighting legitimate, like she's not a
- 1:23:41Speaker 7: pro by any means, but she knows what she's doing. Yeah,
- 1:23:43Speaker 7: this is a fitness trainer martial arts.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: But she's like a trainer train I will fight anyone.
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: I'm not scared of anyone. She can be picky about.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: Oh she looks easy. I'll take this fight cool, anyone
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: can get it. I'm not intimidated by her at all.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: Let me just say she has exquisite boobs.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: She's very pretty.
- 1:24:04Speaker 4: She is hit her in the boob.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Punch in the boobs.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: I mean, I don't think you're supposed to aim for that,
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: but if it hits there, yes, you're not supposed to
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: go blow the belly button.
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: I know you're not to blow the belts if I
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: understand that for boxing. I'm thinking for women's boxing though,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: because you're you're allowed to like punch anybody in the torso.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: Like a regular boxing miss and hit you.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: But I'm saying I didn't know if there was a
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: rule when it came to women's boxing, like where you
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: can't you know, punch them in the.
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: Can No, but you do wear a breastplate, so I'm
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: gonna have to wear that.
- 1:24:35Speaker 9: Morgan, if you're being a real entrepreneur, are you going
- 1:24:38Speaker 9: to sell the socks and underwear you wear in the
- 1:24:40Speaker 9: fight for like a thousand dollars, sure can't inquiring minds
- 1:24:44Speaker 9: on the text.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: One funny this is at a casino. We would like
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: to know hurrahs.
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: Everyone knows you want to bet. There's always ways a
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: bet on things.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Now there's also a consideration reconsideration happening. Greg is
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: reconsidering his not going.
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: I'm wrestling with it, Morgan. I don't want to hurt
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: your feelings. You know how I feel about flying, but
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: I want to be there for you. And I'm just agonizing, Greg.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Do you fly for things? I mean, when I have to.
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: Here's the thing, Greg, it's not like and I'm being honest,
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: it's not going to hurt my feelings because I get
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: it's anxious for you.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: You're going to look like a jerk. But I would.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: I would make more money if you bought a pay
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: per viewing.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: Which I will I will do. Okay, what if it's settled? Okay, Well,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: if Greg doesn't go to the fight, he's got a
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: host a viewing party.
- 1:25:39Speaker 9: So that everybody's got to pay their own ticket, because
- 1:25:42Speaker 9: then she's because.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: If bars are able to show paper, there's.
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: Got to be something higher price than Yeah, there's got
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: to be.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Some type of thing that you can do, like if
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: you wanted to have like a viewing party. I guess
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: so to watch the fight.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: With this, it's so ratchet and goofy.
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: How long is the whole night? Like how many whites
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: are there?
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: God? With boxing stuff, it goes on and they're known
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: to not run on time. I think it starts at
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: seven maybe to midnight. But also because now I'm following
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: like the whole promotion on Instagram, they are doing like
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: wrap acts in between each one and they are like
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: SoundCloud wrappers.
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: There's an application to be a musical artist on this thing.
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: Fill that out.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I've been taking applications for ring girls.
- 1:26:28Speaker 9: So.
- 1:26:30Speaker 11: We got to do that.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: So I have a feeling it's gonna be. It's gonna
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: drag out for okay, but I also probably be the
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: first fight.
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: I was gonna say, your first or second or.
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: Oh we gotta be first, I assume for debut, right, Uh,
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: so I'll be done and then enjoy all the performances.
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: Go into hurrahs.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Yeah, off the hurrahs, go play some slots and have
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: some drinks.
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: When it comes to non boxing training, are you additionally
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: doing stuff like running and wait, yeah.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I run on the rocky.
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: Oh guys, protein is crazy, Like Tyler's annoyed. He probably
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: hears me talking to chat GBT like I've had one
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: hundred grams of protein today. What can I have now?
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: All that's safe, you know, blah blah blah, And then
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: I lift three days a week.
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: So damn because I remember when you and Mennace went
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: to the park and you had to outrun him and
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: you barely moved and.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Her it's because she ran straight to it. Now compared
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: to that time.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: Do that? I don't know because I don't run like
- 1:27:24Speaker 3: I don't practice getting away from people in that Morgan.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: When you do the way in don't talk mad craps
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: or make yourself be a little timid, she'll think you're
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: going to be an easy fight. Play with her mind, no,
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: because the.
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: Way you get more fights is you go entertaining, and.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: I can't imagine more be like.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: Oh no, that's not how you promote fights. We told
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: her that what she should do during the fight is
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: anytime she does get like hit or whatever, she should
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: do a morgasmy second rounds. You got to get to work.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: I mean, there's no string around the play room.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: Gloves, so we'll see.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Well, we'll keep you updated as things unfold and developed.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: With Morgan's first official sanctioned fight, you guys, very exciting.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: The poster says, it's not sanctioned, it's it's for entertainment
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: purposes only.
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: I that's that's that's good though, because that that's a
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: lot of paperwork deal with. Okay, well, your first official fight.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, all right, first official fight. Either way,
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: I can't believe that. We'll take a break. We're gonna
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: come back. We've got the d uy q. If you

- 1:29:10Speaker 7: from a nap would know, But are they so drunk
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: that they won't know the answer? And so then you guess, well,
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: you guess I'm the person or whether they know the answer,
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: And if you do that correctly two times out of three.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: You win.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: Let's say hi to Ben, Hey, Ben, Ben, Hey, Hey,

- 1:34:04Speaker 1: two for the d U I Q.
- 1:34:06Speaker 7: A bibliophile is someone who really loves.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: What menace the Bible, the Bible. I mean, it's a

- 1:34:40Speaker 5: I thought you guys are guessing something like science or
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: something like.
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: That, because at first I heard bibliography. That's the one
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: that popped in my mind. That's not a wild guest,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: that's an educated guest.
- 1:34:49Speaker 8: I first thought book because I thought bibliography.
- 1:34:51Speaker 4: But then you guys were like, oh, it's all right,
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: in the name. It's right there, So I switched it

- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Biography, all right? Question number two d uy q. Now,
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: Ben guessed that Jeffrey would not get this one. In fact,
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: it was an emphatic hell no. So if that's the case,
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: he will be the winner here on the d uy Q.
- 1:35:09Speaker 7: A bibliophile is someone who really loves what books.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: I love books. Call me anything, any question that you
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: have for books? I love him.
- 1:35:20Speaker 5: Wow, dude, you just got served, dramatic.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Ben, Wow. Okay, all Ben. This is why we have
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: a third question here in the round of the duy q.
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: This is make or break. Here we go.
- 1:35:36Speaker 11: What was the name of Ebone's a Scrooge's former partner? Oh?
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: Yes, for Sammy, are you right?

- 1:35:44Speaker 1: No, for Menace, No, for Jeffrey.
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: I'm not sold on Sammy.
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: What as much Christmas crap as she does, does she?
- 1:35:52Speaker 4: Yeah? This isn't like Hallmark Christmas.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: The News School.
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: I'm just really today, I'm going triple no. What Yeah?
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: I am?
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: I don't know how you in what world do you
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: think Sammy doesn't know this?
- 1:36:04Speaker 7: Because she's she's not into Like, she's not a hardcore
- 1:36:07Speaker 7: Christmas person. She's a hard she is, she's a hardcore
- 1:36:10Speaker 7: modern Christmas.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: Drift. Christmas. I'll say yes for Sammy, No for Menace,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: No for Jeffrey. You say triple no, Greg Gory.
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: Going triple no, triple no, going quadruple if I can't
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: wait Menace and Sammy?
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: Does Jeffery get it? Right? No? No?
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: No?
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: Ben?
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Make or break? What do you say? Ah? Man?
- 1:36:32Speaker 6: I mean seriously, Like, the first question is Christmas related?
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: He doesn't get it. The second one is about books,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: and then this is a book? Yeah, book and Christmas?
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: What was this one of these questions done back in December?
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: Uh, I'm gonna say no.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and actually yes, I'm looking ut when Sea Bass
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: got these clear December.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: Tenth makes sense?
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, so that does make sense. I thought that
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: was kind of went ran too. That's a good that's
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: a good observation because Christmas isn't an all time things, right, Okay,
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: all right? So Ben, you're saying no, no Question number
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: three d u i Q. What was the name of
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: ebenez a Scrooge's former partner? All right? Menace? Dorothy Dorothy?
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: Like that incorrect?
- 1:37:19Speaker 6: It was the real guest I was gonna put Scrooge,
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: Scrooge Ella or something like that.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: All right, Sammy, it would be tiny Tim's dad. No, okay,
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: don't know. Do you guys know it? What's Tiny Tim's
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: dad's name?
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: I know, I don't.
- 1:37:33Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: Bob cratch it, but he worked for Ebenezer Scrooge. Ebenezer
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: Scrooge was in business with Jacob Marley. Is the first
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: ghost you with the bonnet head? Usual? Screw wasn't Was
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: it called Scrooge and Marley? Wasn't it like Marley and Scrooge?
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: Like that was the name of their their their counting
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: house or whatever the hell? It was right that it was.
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: Have you seen Screwge.
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: Was talking about like knocking the boots and stuff? All right,
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: I didn't mean a woman, but thought it was a woman,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: all right. Question number three d u i Q.
- 1:38:11Speaker 11: What was the name of Ebone's and Scroogees former partner?
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: It was? It was not Tiny Tim, it was.
- 1:38:20Speaker 10: Well, well he was like it was a jangle guy
- 1:38:23Speaker 10: that had all his chains.
- 1:38:25Speaker 11: What's his name?
- 1:38:26Speaker 10: Yeah, Timmy, it was like Tim TIMI yeah, Ben Pull.

- 1:38:58Speaker 1: Hang on one second, we'll get all of your information. Damn, Sammy,
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: I know, I thought for sure I would have put
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: big money on that.
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: I've only seen it like a couple of times, clearly.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: Yeah, like the Buppets, and there's Disney version. There's the
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: Mickey version.
- 1:39:12Speaker 4: Saw the Jim Carrey version. Yeah, there's a Jim Carrey version.
- 1:39:16Speaker 7: It was like three D modeled something others The WOODI Show.
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: A little follow up after the d U i Q.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: Teachers are sounding the alarm about a growing classroom problem,
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: kids who say school doesn't matter because they plan to
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: be an influencer. Okay, about to say computer, Yeah, what's
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: the point of school? Don't need it. I'm going to
- 1:39:47Speaker 1: be an influencer. So the teachers they're struggling just to
- 1:39:52Speaker 1: keep these kids engaged, you know, because many of these
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: kids they just believe they don't need traditional academics because
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: they expect to make money online.
- 1:40:00Speaker 6: Sorry, influencer dreams. But there's like these AI influencers that look.
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: I just saw an ad for some app that you
- 1:40:11Speaker 1: can just take a picture. I could take a picture
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: of this desk bell that sits here and say this
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: is my new product. To borrow from the McDonald's CEO,
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: this is my new product, and I would like a
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: high energy, cinematic, theatrical style commercial for this new desk
- 1:40:31Speaker 1: bell that I'm offering. And within a couple of minutes
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: it puts together this crazy something that would have taken
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: a month or more. Yeah, and a whole team. And
- 1:40:45Speaker 1: the person who's in it is that they're not real.
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: It's just an AI generated Oh and by the way,
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: they can do versions that look like a real person
- 1:40:52Speaker 1: just in their apartment look at using your bell. Well, yeah,
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: that's that's that's what this thing is. That's what it
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: was doing.
- 1:40:57Speaker 9: And look, there are apps that you take a picture
- 1:40:58Speaker 9: of yourself and suddenly you're presenting it.
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: Can I be thinner and hotter? Sure? Okay, cool a
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: little more. Yeah. So people go, oh, I'm sorry, I'm
- 1:41:08Speaker 1: not going to support but you are are, and you
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: probably have no idea that you are.
- 1:41:12Speaker 6: Now. Now the kids should be learning how to use
- 1:41:16Speaker 6: the programs to make that kind of coding.
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: That's what they should be focused on. Anyway. Some students
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: who are already failing told this one teacher their plan
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: is to become YouTubers or make money on Instagram because
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: you quote don't need to do boring stuff. Even younger
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: students are echoing the same mindset, thinking they will just
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: play roadblocks or upload videos and earn cash. That way easy.
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: It's very easy because a I can't play video games
- 1:41:41Speaker 1: for The article points out influencer culture is undermining motivation
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: and making students question the value of education. Now, on
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: the other side, you've got people saying that this isn't
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: a big deal. It's fine for kids to dream big
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: as long as they have realistic backup plans.
- 1:41:55Speaker 4: But this isn't dreaming big. This is dreaming as small
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: as possible.
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: No, it's dreaming big because they see people who are
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: influencers of you know. They they make all this money,
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: they have all this cool stuff to get to just
- 1:42:04Speaker 1: do fun stuff. I get that. That's that's the swinging big,
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: Like that's what you want.
- 1:42:09Speaker 11: I get it.
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: It's just that dreaming big.
- 1:42:10Speaker 9: It's like I want to sit on my couch all
- 1:42:13Speaker 9: day and get paid for it.
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: No, they're not saying so on their couch. They're saying
- 1:42:17Speaker 1: they want to do the fun stuff. These influence They
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: see these influencers out there doing going doing goofy, stars
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: doing Goofy.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: I have to watch it in my house.
- 1:42:25Speaker 9: It's all like dudes on there like, okay, chat now
- 1:42:28Speaker 9: we're gonna build this minecraft thing.
- 1:42:30Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, I mean it's okay. Yeah, like you said,
- 1:42:32Speaker 6: it's okay to go after that kind of stuff, but
- 1:42:35Speaker 6: have a backup. Yeah, eventually it burns out. You eventually
- 1:42:39Speaker 6: have to pay bills.
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: Like, that's fine, figure out, but maybe get like a
- 1:42:42Speaker 1: business degree, or take classes in the AI stuff, or
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: take classes of you know, for something that you would
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: be able to a marketable skill.
- 1:42:50Speaker 7: I can tell you someone who has done this in
- 1:42:52Speaker 7: real life. It's it's the only fans model, not model model,
- 1:42:56Speaker 7: but only fans model. The top only the top half
- 1:43:00Speaker 7: a percent make any money doing this stuff.
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: Yeah, the market is saturated. The kind of the kind
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: of money that you think that you want to have
- 1:43:07Speaker 1: for your life. You can make some money, you can
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: have to make some money. Yeah, yeah, side hustle, right
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: if you're all hot and naked, all right, you can't
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: help any of the bills.
- 1:43:17Speaker 11: Insensitivity training for a politically very world.
