- 1:02Speaker 2: Trust me, trust me, menafoon.
- 1:04Speaker 3: We're really talking about important stuff there, So I apologize.
- 1:07Speaker 2: But you got to hear a good song for a
- 1:08Speaker 2: little bit longer. I don't remember who sings it.
- 1:14Speaker 4: The yeah yeah yeah every time.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Yeah, and then we say that every time she tells
- 1:19Speaker 3: them he will love the name of that.
- 1:23Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 1:24Speaker 3: I mean that's a little too violent for me. No, No,
- 1:26Speaker 3: it's just violent enough. Actually, got chilled, just got chill,
- 1:33Speaker 3: your head rolling off thinking about other people's heads, rolling heads.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Will roll this Sundever, you don't ever like y'all, don't
- 1:39Speaker 2: ever just like.
- 1:41Speaker 3: You know one time, be like, man, I wish I
- 1:44Speaker 3: could just spear that person right in the chest, have
- 1:47Speaker 3: murderous thoughts. No, I said, spear like you're like tackle
- 1:52Speaker 3: like I mean a lot you played softball at a
- 1:55Speaker 3: high level. You know what I mean, Like man, like
- 1:58Speaker 3: I wish.
- 1:58Speaker 5: I could just always wanted to hurt somebody with this
- 2:01Speaker 5: person just truck a catcher sliding in something.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Like the Goldberg spear, Yes, like after you talk about yes,
- 2:10Speaker 3: but like I won't like instead of like Goldberg would
- 2:12Speaker 3: put his head to the side, like I want the
- 2:14Speaker 3: crown of my forehead like right there in the start.
- 2:17Speaker 6: Yeah, when you first said it, we had just talked
- 2:19Speaker 6: about heads were on the decapitation. Then you said you
- 2:23Speaker 6: wanted to spear somebody in the chest. I thought you
- 2:25Speaker 6: meant like with the actual spirit. No, that's on me. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:29Speaker 6: I mean with the actual spirit. No, I've never thought
- 2:31Speaker 6: about that. Yeah, like tackling somebody like Goldberg.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Absolutely, Yeah.
- 2:35Speaker 3: I wouldn't cradle their head either. No, I ain't doing that.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I want the head to hit first. Dabbo low Clemson.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Wait, who did you yell at in the in his
- 2:49Speaker 2: uh Tylor Tylor from spartan Burg Tyler?
- 2:56Speaker 7: He still is Tyler? Pretty sure he won out the
- 3:00Speaker 7: rest of that season after the.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Tyler's one iss aft.
- 3:08Speaker 3: When it comes to a little decapitation, just a little bit,
- 3:11Speaker 3: not a lot, I agree, just a little decapitation, all
- 3:14Speaker 3: the still watching him, still deep into the rewatch of
- 3:17Speaker 3: Game of Thrones.
- 3:19Speaker 6: They don't really care about children's feelings in that show. No,
- 3:26Speaker 6: we're past drop off. We can talk about this now
- 3:29Speaker 6: eight oh four. Oh yeah, it's already dropped off.
- 3:31Speaker 3: No, it's not one of those shows where it's like, yeah,
- 3:34Speaker 3: you know that character is going to stay alive because
- 3:37Speaker 3: he's a certain age.
- 3:38Speaker 2: No, yeah, you can't. Can't trust that. I can't trust that.
- 3:43Speaker 3: You can't trust the OTB Top twenty five though, and
- 3:47Speaker 3: right now we are going to get the fourth ranked team.
- 3:50Speaker 3: But let me tell you how we got there. Fund's
- 3:52Speaker 3: favorite because he wants a graphic. There's no graphic. We
- 3:54Speaker 3: got to do this. We gotta work it is Boise
- 3:56Speaker 3: stated twenty five, Memphis at twenty four, Baylor at three,
- 4:00Speaker 3: Georgia Tech at twenty two, Tennessee at twenty one, Iowa
- 4:03Speaker 3: State at twenty, Texas eighty four at nineteen, Indiana at eighteen,
- 4:07Speaker 3: Ole Miss at seventeen, Florida at sixteen, Texas Tech at fifteen,
- 4:10Speaker 3: SMU at fourteen, Arizona State at thirteen, Alabama at twelve,
- 4:14Speaker 3: Miami at eleven, Illinois at ten Texas at nine, Oregon
- 4:17Speaker 3: at eight, Notre Dame at seven, Georgia at six, South
- 4:21Speaker 3: Carolina at number five, and the number four team in
- 4:25Speaker 3: the OTB Top twenty five.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Taytay, Yeah, going again because somebody on Monday screwed up
- 4:33Speaker 7: the order. It's not important. We're not gonna name names.
- 4:35Speaker 7: But uh yeah, here we are with the fourth team
- 4:38Speaker 7: in the country. We are going with the Penn State
- 4:41Speaker 7: Nitney Lyons. They were going to be on number fourteam
- 4:45Speaker 7: in the country. The white out, that is not a
- 4:48Speaker 7: white out.
- 4:50Speaker 8: We're good.
- 4:51Speaker 7: Look we got Tree Dolor coming back at quarterback. Now
- 4:55Speaker 7: everyone's going to say the same thing. Hey, there was
- 4:57Speaker 7: a playoff game where he didn't complete a pass through
- 4:59Speaker 7: receive and I've heard the pushback. Okay, well that's not
- 5:02Speaker 7: gonna happen again this year. I still have major question
- 5:05Speaker 7: marks on who they have a receiver. They brought in
- 5:07Speaker 7: a few transfers, they get a couple guys coming back,
- 5:10Speaker 7: like Khalil Dinkins, but you lose Tyler Warren. That was
- 5:13Speaker 7: your key piece in the passing game on the offense
- 5:16Speaker 7: a year ago. Now you still have the best running
- 5:18Speaker 7: back duo in the entire country. Nick Singleton K Tron Allen.
- 5:23Speaker 7: They're going to be the focal point of your offense
- 5:25Speaker 7: once again. Five starters back on defense, but five offensive
- 5:30Speaker 7: linemen with starting experience returning for this team, So that
- 5:34Speaker 7: good running back duo they're gonna be running behind a
- 5:36Speaker 7: heck of an offensive line. Drew Aller could do just enough.
- 5:40Speaker 7: This team is right where you want them to be. Also,
- 5:43Speaker 7: when you look at their schedule plays out well for
- 5:45Speaker 7: the most part. Three layups out the Gate, Nevada, Florida International,
- 5:50Speaker 7: and Villanova.
- 5:51Speaker 2: All those games are at home.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Now you do play number seven Oregon, but we talked
- 5:55Speaker 7: about them a couple of weeks ago. There's some question
- 5:58Speaker 7: marks on that program on the offensive side of the ball,
- 6:00Speaker 7: and you get them in Happy Valley, your first road
- 6:04Speaker 7: game against the UCLA Penn State are probably going to
- 6:06Speaker 7: be favored in that.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Then you go to Northwestern.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Iowa, you go to Ohio State, but you don't have
- 6:12Speaker 7: to win that game if you're undefeated when you get there.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Then just one more ranked opponent, number twenty Indiana that
- 6:19Speaker 7: you also get at home close out the season, Michigan
- 6:22Speaker 7: State and Nebraska Rutgers. So only three ranked teams right now,
- 6:26Speaker 7: on Penn State schedule, two of which are at home,
- 6:29Speaker 7: so by and large, not a terrible schedule for the
- 6:32Speaker 7: Nidney Lions.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I got them at number four.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Yeah, y'all were so worried about the SEC and how
- 6:36Speaker 3: many conference games they played, and you played nine and
- 6:40Speaker 3: they played eight, but they also played eight with having
- 6:43Speaker 3: to play a Power four opponent in the non con
- 6:46Speaker 3: and so it brought that total to nine games. Now
- 6:48Speaker 3: they're going to play nine and also have that game
- 6:50Speaker 3: when Penn State. Your non con schedule is Nevada FIU
- 6:56Speaker 3: and Villa Nova. And we ain't talking about on the hardwood.
- 6:59Speaker 3: We're talkingalking about on the grid iron. Okay, what is
- 7:03Speaker 3: the that's the softest, Saul. If I'm, oh my gosh,
- 7:07Speaker 3: if I'm a Penn State fan, I'm not paying a
- 7:11Speaker 3: dollar to go to Nevada f i U or Villa Nova.
- 7:15Speaker 8: And then they got where they play against Oregon.
- 7:18Speaker 7: At home for the FIU game, you would have to
- 7:20Speaker 7: pay eleven dollars, because that's that's eleven dollars.
- 7:25Speaker 2: To think about it. I think there's a lot of
- 7:27Speaker 2: people out there that would love that schedule. Oh my god, schedule.
- 7:32Speaker 8: There's some people in this building.
- 7:33Speaker 3: They're like, that's what I want, that's what we want,
- 7:35Speaker 3: That's exactly what we want.
- 7:37Speaker 2: God, villain Nova.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'd rather jump in a tank full of hammerhead sharks.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Gross, you see LA that schedule in l A.
- 7:48Speaker 8: Rather get in the cage with Mike the Tiger than
- 7:50Speaker 8: play that schedule.
- 7:51Speaker 2: That's gross. That's soft. It's speared randomly by a stranger.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Yeah, probably me with CT So I apologize, But my god,
- 8:01Speaker 3: what emotion does any of.
- 8:02Speaker 6: That create based on that alone? Border There's no way
- 8:06Speaker 6: they win a big game, no shot. They want to
- 8:09Speaker 6: be like that.
- 8:10Speaker 2: They prove it, they prove it. Can you beat Indiana?
- 8:13Speaker 2: That's all you gotta do?
- 8:14Speaker 8: Well, you can lose.
- 8:16Speaker 2: You're gonna lose the playoffs. They're going to lose in
- 8:17Speaker 2: the playoffs. If I'm saying to get in, you could
- 8:19Speaker 2: lose to Oregon anyways, meets the road, they're toast.
- 8:23Speaker 3: I mean, how are you how are you going to
- 8:24Speaker 3: be ready for Oregon when you've got Nevada, f i
- 8:27Speaker 3: U and Villanova.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Well f IU is very hydrated, so they're going to
- 8:32Speaker 6: present a challenge, especially in the fourth quarter, and their
- 8:35Speaker 6: calves aren't cramping right.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Uh, let's see tea palace out to buy you four chat.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Didn't know Villanova had a football team. They're FCS team
- 8:44Speaker 3: like that. Yeah, we're not talking about Josh Hart and
- 8:49Speaker 3: Brunson on the court.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'm about the football team.
- 8:52Speaker 7: And we always talk about the three game stretch for
- 8:55Speaker 7: every team, like they kind of doesn't have one. I mean,
- 8:58Speaker 7: I guess if you want to go Iowa, Ohio State, Indiana.
- 9:02Speaker 7: But again, Jake, they got a bye week between Iowa
- 9:05Speaker 7: and Ohio State, so they got a bye week before
- 9:07Speaker 7: Oregon and a bye week.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Before Ohio State.
- 9:10Speaker 7: Like soft, you're at Iowa, but then bye week at
- 9:15Speaker 7: Ohio State at home against Indiana. It's not your toughest
- 9:18Speaker 7: three game stretch. I mean, two ranked opponents, but you
- 9:22Speaker 7: have a bye week in between. They don't really have
- 9:24Speaker 7: a tough three game stretch.
- 9:25Speaker 6: That team does not walk onto an airplane till October
- 9:28Speaker 6: third for the October fourth football game.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a long flight.
- 9:33Speaker 6: How about that we have to go to Los angele As, California.
- 9:38Speaker 3: That team is also in Los Angeles, as coach Foster
- 9:42Speaker 3: would tell us, the.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Other one them, there's two of them in Los Angeles.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Did we watch his press conference this year. I did.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I heard he totally redeemed him. Yeah, he actually did.
- 9:51Speaker 8: Well.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, should we play it word for word? No, we
- 9:53Speaker 2: should not.
- 9:55Speaker 8: We should not.
- 9:56Speaker 3: So we've only got three teams left to rank in
- 9:58Speaker 3: the OTB Top twenty five.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Flynn is going to give you number three.
- 10:03Speaker 3: I'm going to give you number two, and Elandra is
- 10:06Speaker 3: going to give you number one.
- 10:07Speaker 8: So tomorrow Flynn gives you three.
- 10:10Speaker 3: On Friday, we'll both give two and also number one
- 10:16Speaker 3: teams in the basic Official College Football Poll.
- 10:21Speaker 4: And Michigan isn't on the list yet.
- 10:23Speaker 2: So Michigan. Yeah, word that a Laundre just mentioned yet.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Yeah, Michigan there.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah for coming Bryce Underwood season. Baby. Yeah. Connor Stallions
- 10:33Speaker 2: has been training up some folks. You could ban.
- 10:37Speaker 7: Portnoy from Ohio State, but you can't ban him from
- 10:39Speaker 7: the o t be Top twenty five.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Maybe, Oh yeah, I still him.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Portannoy tooking it like that video you sent my god five.
- 10:48Speaker 8: I was so with you, Laudre.
- 10:50Speaker 3: You're like, I saw five minutes too, and I wasn't
- 10:52Speaker 3: going to I'm sorry that until Flynn said something about
- 10:56Speaker 3: big Bob, Big tim Bob, that's my guy.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Like I con't even scrub through it to try to
- 11:00Speaker 5: find Bobby half in.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And stopped, so he ended up taking a shot at him,
- 11:05Speaker 2: but he ended up did saying.
- 11:06Speaker 3: He was right, yeah, but the shot he's like, and
- 11:09Speaker 3: then you got Bobby Carpenter and he's like going on,
- 11:11Speaker 3: like obviously knows who he is, and he's like, oh,
- 11:14Speaker 3: I think he played like linebacker there or something I
- 11:16Speaker 3: don't know.
- 11:17Speaker 8: And then he goes on he's like.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Uh, Bobby is Bobby, right, Bobby whatever, and then he
- 11:22Speaker 3: keeps going on. It's like you've said it right twice
- 11:24Speaker 3: and then he calls him Robbie Carpenter and he's like, oh,
- 11:27Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I mean like Bobby. It was like, oh
- 11:29Speaker 3: my gosh, this is the bit you're going with. It's like,
- 11:33Speaker 3: you know exactly who Bobby is. Bobby played for the Patriots,
- 11:36Speaker 3: that's your favorite team.
- 11:39Speaker 2: It was a first round pick from the team that
- 11:41Speaker 2: you hate the most.
- 11:42Speaker 6: I think, you know how, I actually don't mind that
- 11:44Speaker 6: banner between teams like that between like play.
- 11:48Speaker 8: The delivery's got to be much better.
- 11:49Speaker 6: Yeah. So yeah, that was the big news of Ohio Sate.
- 11:53Speaker 6: Trying to say yesterday, I think the A D came
- 11:56Speaker 6: out and publicly said we did not be in him
- 11:58Speaker 6: and Fortnoy had take to the take to the video,
- 12:02Speaker 6: the selfie video and besides the calling out Bobby Carbon
- 12:06Speaker 6: and part I thought, you know, I usually like most
- 12:08Speaker 6: of the stuff for Portnoyd.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Does you can't call out big tim Bob, that's our guy.
- 12:12Speaker 8: But outside of that, I like the video fold you
- 12:15Speaker 8: know me, I can't.
- 12:18Speaker 2: But he did say Ohio State did not or did
- 12:21Speaker 2: indeed ban him and his show from coming up there
- 12:25Speaker 2: despite what the ad said, which is pretty soft. That's
- 12:33Speaker 2: objectively speaking like.
- 12:34Speaker 3: You as a as a gritty guy, sounds like his
- 12:37Speaker 3: side over Bobby's.
- 12:40Speaker 2: It feels like here he did say Bobby was right.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Yeah, and he took a shot his podcast though. Yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 6: but any any press is good for ass. It's probably
- 12:46Speaker 6: good for his podcast, probably right. You think about He's
- 12:49Speaker 6: got millions and millions and millions Bobby followers and views.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Bobby might actually be on the show with me later today.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I can't wait to ask him about Bob.
- 12:55Speaker 6: There's no way Bobby's mad about it, because he's like, yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 6: millions of people now know of my podcast. So if
- 13:03Speaker 6: there wasn't people listening now they are. Does he have
- 13:05Speaker 6: a podcast or is he just on that media here?
- 13:08Speaker 3: He has one, Yeah, with Anthony Schlegel, who also played
- 13:10Speaker 3: linebacker for those Ohio States.
- 13:11Speaker 6: That was the best thing that could happen for him.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but still like you think you just said it
- 13:17Speaker 2: to Bobby in person. No, but I'm pretty sure they
- 13:21Speaker 2: probably like each other in person. You think.
- 13:26Speaker 6: Let's see what callt him Robbie. That's that's what you
- 13:31Speaker 6: do when you talk trash of somebody mispronounced their name.
- 13:33Speaker 6: It's disrespectful. It's great, Okay, all right, Matt mock See
- 13:39Speaker 6: I get it all the time.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Phase me. That's what I call arch Manning. Arch Manning.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Well you do. It's fun.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Taking Portnoy's side. That's weird flex all right. Campus t fretto.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Glad to have them on the team. Over forty four
- 13:55Speaker 3: thousand members across Baton Rouge, New Orleans and the Port City.

- 14:34Speaker 8: Stay locked in here to one oh four.
- 14:35Speaker 2: To five ESPN Bettery, Doctor dens.
- 14:40Speaker 3: The perfect time to go for doses anytime, but certainly
- 14:43Speaker 3: one of the peak times is the fall. As we
- 14:46Speaker 3: get set to enter football season. Does it feel like
- 14:48Speaker 3: the fall outside? No, it doesn't. But that's even more
- 14:51Speaker 3: of a reason to have a nice cold dose Sekis
- 14:53Speaker 3: in your hands. So when you're getting the tailgate ready,
- 14:55Speaker 3: when you're putting the tent in the truck, when you're
- 14:57Speaker 3: putting the TV the generator, makes sure that you include
- 15:01Speaker 3: that ice chest full of ice cold dose Sekis. We've looked,
- 15:05Speaker 3: We've said it all the time like it is the
- 15:06Speaker 3: perfect beer for every situation. Even when you get released
- 15:10Speaker 3: from the NFL and you're in the airport, Elite do
- 15:13Speaker 3: Skis beer. So there's never a bad time to go
- 15:16Speaker 3: for dose. You should go for dose, drink responsibly, do skis.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's uh, it's Wednesday, hump day. Hump day.
- 15:23Speaker 6: Beers are delicious. Get you over the hump of the
- 15:25Speaker 6: week a little bit. We're about to start to tell
- 15:27Speaker 6: gate man, we got game one. Get fired up, get ready,
- 15:30Speaker 6: we got the pre You're gonna have the pregame party
- 15:32Speaker 6: at your house. You're gonna be tailgating after game whatever.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Make sure if you drink beer, it's going to be
- 15:37Speaker 6: a do saki. He's at ice cold delicious lagger dose skies.
- 15:45Speaker 2: There you see that, mommy, he is unacceptable.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Balls sling locked in on LSU Football twenty four to seven.

- 15:59Speaker 4: Let me one of them.
- 16:00Speaker 3: I'm even here on.
- 16:01Speaker 2: The double Vision.
- 16:02Speaker 9: I was seeing us on a walk this game with
- 16:05Speaker 9: you know very well, watch gone, I am walking.
- 16:13Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Welcome back here O TV one four five, ESPN ban Rouge.
- 16:18Speaker 8: Always a pleasure to welcome on. Our next guess is
- 16:20Speaker 8: our guy doctor.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Steven after it, who joins us now to break down
- 16:24Speaker 3: all the injuries going on across the grid iron. Also
- 16:27Speaker 3: just talk about some things that are, well, they're gonna
- 16:29Speaker 3: pop up in the future. They are going to happen.
- 16:31Speaker 3: They we don't like that they're going to happen, but
- 16:33Speaker 3: it's in absolutes. That's just the way that it is.
- 16:35Speaker 8: DOC.
- 16:36Speaker 3: How we doing doing good? How about y'all doing fantastic?
- 16:39Speaker 3: I'm sure this is you know, Wednesday before high school,
- 16:43Speaker 3: college and kind of everything gets started, maybe the last
- 16:46Speaker 3: time that you get to take a actual deep breath
- 16:48Speaker 3: before maybe January.
- 16:51Speaker 8: Yeah, it's honest, it's about to get a real busy
- 16:53Speaker 8: moving forward. Oh yeah, your job.
- 16:56Speaker 6: Yeah, you're gonna get pretty busy. I mean, it's a
- 17:00Speaker 6: sports so whether it's serious or not. I mean, there's
- 17:02Speaker 6: gonna be some shoulders, there's gonna be some ankles, some knees.
- 17:05Speaker 6: There's gonna be something that you're gonna be pushing and
- 17:07Speaker 6: pulling on.
- 17:08Speaker 8: Oh, for sure, for sure.
- 17:09Speaker 2: What's the most common camp injury?
- 17:12Speaker 8: I mean, sawt tissue, tissue, hamstring.
- 17:14Speaker 10: If I had to probably pick one, it's just I
- 17:15Speaker 10: feel like every year we know we're gonna have some
- 17:17Speaker 10: ham strings, you get some calve strains, back issues, but
- 17:20Speaker 10: definitely the soft tissue, the strains, the sprains, all that stuff.
- 17:22Speaker 3: North Turner once told me I wasn't fast enough to
- 17:24Speaker 3: pull my hamstring?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Is that true?
- 17:26Speaker 8: It's usually a fast person injury. It is.
- 17:31Speaker 2: All right, now that was a truth. Did you ever
- 17:33Speaker 2: have a hamstring injury?
- 17:34Speaker 3: Well, that's what I saying. Like, I like my fast guy,
- 17:36Speaker 3: my my rookie year. I was running like a little
- 17:39Speaker 3: skinny post out of a plane, f out of the slot.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I remember that kind of grabbing and it's like, you know,
- 17:43Speaker 3: I kind of got felt like I got shot in
- 17:44Speaker 3: the hamstring and I remember grabbing it. And Nor was like, haster,
- 17:47Speaker 3: come on, you not fast enough to pull your hamstring
- 17:50Speaker 3: off the field.
- 17:51Speaker 2: And I'm like you, sir, rookie, I don't know.
- 17:53Speaker 8: That's usually where we see it. I will say there
- 17:55Speaker 8: are exceptions there.
- 17:56Speaker 2: But I mean I'll talk about that with the Saints
- 17:58Speaker 2: all time.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Like Rashid Shahid, like he is a true elite speed guy,
- 18:02Speaker 3: like one of the fastest guys in the NFL, and
- 18:05Speaker 3: it feels like, man, it always pops up for him.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It's like hamstring or that soft tissue that you're talking about,
- 18:10Speaker 3: because it's almost like the human body is not supposed
- 18:12Speaker 3: to be that fast.
- 18:14Speaker 8: I think that's it.
- 18:14Speaker 10: I mean, I mean there are things that I think
- 18:16Speaker 10: we talked about it some last week, how some of
- 18:18Speaker 10: these injuries like Achilles, these guys are bigger and faster,
- 18:20Speaker 10: and again, as he comes down to like I said
- 18:22Speaker 10: last week, there's a lot of physics, and you put
- 18:24Speaker 10: so much force on a structure, eventually it might give.
- 18:28Speaker 6: All right, dos, So we were trying to discuss, like
- 18:32Speaker 6: I think you heard us talk after you left last week,
- 18:34Speaker 6: we started talking about like the biologic like injections. So
- 18:37Speaker 6: we started talking like PRP stem cells, and I want
- 18:41Speaker 6: to kind of like educate our listeners and our viewers
- 18:45Speaker 6: right now a little bit about what all that means,
- 18:46Speaker 6: Like tell us give us just like a brief breakdown
- 18:49Speaker 6: of PRP injections and then stem cell injection. What the
- 18:53Speaker 6: like the real difference between the two is, Yeah, it's
- 18:56Speaker 6: you know, it's a really big topic.
- 18:58Speaker 10: I think you know, if you listen on the radio,
- 18:59Speaker 10: if you don't podcast, if you watch TV, you're gonna
- 19:01Speaker 10: hear something about it. If you're looking into sports medicine
- 19:04Speaker 10: and all the things we're doing. Is something that's really
- 19:06Speaker 10: really grown a lot, especially if you like this past
- 19:08Speaker 10: five to ten years and there's a lot of information,
- 19:10Speaker 10: and like everything, there's some good information bad information, you know,
- 19:13Speaker 10: when we're talking about any of these injections, there what
- 19:15Speaker 10: are kind of referred to as biologic injections or sometimes
- 19:18Speaker 10: regenerative medicine. And at the end of the day, though,
- 19:20Speaker 10: really what we're trying to do is upregulate your body's
- 19:23Speaker 10: own ability to heal and recover. And there's a lot
- 19:25Speaker 10: of debate onto where these are appicle when do we
- 19:28Speaker 10: use them. I do feel like we're getting a lot
- 19:29Speaker 10: better at kind of understanding that, but there's still a
- 19:32Speaker 10: lot of data lacking, just to be fair. PRP is
- 19:35Speaker 10: probably the one that's the most common. It stands for
- 19:36Speaker 10: plate the rich plasma. It's an injection that's really been
- 19:39Speaker 10: around almost twenty years and in far as far as
- 19:42Speaker 10: muscar skeletal medicine, give or take a little bit, but
- 19:44Speaker 10: it really is kind of kind of found a place
- 19:46Speaker 10: here these past several years. Like I was saying, but
- 19:48Speaker 10: we literally just draw your own blood, we spin it down,
- 19:50Speaker 10: we take a portion of the blood that's got some platelets,
- 19:52Speaker 10: and we inject that. And the way I talk about
- 19:55Speaker 10: PRP is if you think about a platelet it's like
- 19:57Speaker 10: the body's first responder. Yeah, so you have an platelets respond,
- 20:02Speaker 10: but sometimes if you have an injury, especially a kind
- 20:04Speaker 10: of a chronic lingering injury, the body sort of slows
- 20:06Speaker 10: down that recovery process.
- 20:08Speaker 8: So we kind of just try to upregulate it.
- 20:09Speaker 10: We inject that into the area of the injury, and
- 20:12Speaker 10: then that kind of works to help stimulate healing and
- 20:14Speaker 10: recovery in that area. Stem cells whole nother direction stem cells.
- 20:21Speaker 10: The principle is the same. You know, what I talked
- 20:23Speaker 10: about a lot of my patients is you have basically
- 20:26Speaker 10: a balance in the body between antabolic and catabolic.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:29Speaker 10: So antabolic is the healing recovery and catabolic is the
- 20:32Speaker 10: breaking down of tissue, and you need both of those things.
- 20:35Speaker 10: But with stem cells, there's some information where we're saying, hey,
- 20:38Speaker 10: you know, we're gonna inject these stem cells. They're going
- 20:40Speaker 10: to go grow your new tissue, and not exactly accurate.
- 20:42Speaker 10: We can do that in a lab, but if I'm
- 20:44Speaker 10: injecting into your body, that's not exactly what's happening, which
- 20:46Speaker 10: is probably a good thing too, because you know, if
- 20:48Speaker 10: we inject it into your knee, how do I know
- 20:50Speaker 10: what that's going to turn into if so, the original
- 20:53Speaker 10: idea kind of scared a lot of people. But the
- 20:55Speaker 10: reality is, just like the PRP, what the stem cell
- 20:58Speaker 10: does is it releases a lot of these different you know,
- 21:00Speaker 10: growth stimulating hormones, peptides, natural anti inflammatory sided kinds, all
- 21:04Speaker 10: these different biologic things that help your body heal and recover.
- 21:07Speaker 10: That's really where they work, you know, and they've proven
- 21:10Speaker 10: me pretty powerful. Now there's a lot of debate. When
- 21:12Speaker 10: can you use them, how can use them? What's approved
- 21:13Speaker 10: in the United States. There's a lot of different topics there.
- 21:16Speaker 10: How do you get them? Are they your stem cells
- 21:18Speaker 10: or they donor stim cells? And you can really open
- 21:20Speaker 10: a can of worms when you start going down that.
- 21:22Speaker 10: But it is something in sports medicine that's being used
- 21:24Speaker 10: more and more. It's just again finding the right place,
- 21:27Speaker 10: what can we do here and all of that.
- 21:29Speaker 3: And PRP can be obviously that's a quicker process than
- 21:32Speaker 3: stem cell. I mean you mentioned like PRP like that's
- 21:35Speaker 3: kind of that that can be done in a pretty
- 21:37Speaker 3: timely manner.
- 21:38Speaker 10: Right, So, so with the PRP injection, you know you
- 21:40Speaker 10: can do that. You know we can do it in
- 21:42Speaker 10: the clinic.
- 21:42Speaker 8: You can do it.
- 21:43Speaker 10: You know that the facilities, you know, the training rooms
- 21:45Speaker 10: and places like that. You know, we're very fortunate, you
- 21:49Speaker 10: know with the things we do here with LSU, with
- 21:51Speaker 10: the things that we do with some of our athletes
- 21:52Speaker 10: that come.
- 21:52Speaker 2: To see us.
- 21:53Speaker 8: We have a lot of great resources.
- 21:55Speaker 10: I know, for those of y'all seeing the facility, I
- 21:57Speaker 10: know y'all been out there, how much amazing seeing things
- 22:01Speaker 10: we were able to do out there, and some of
- 22:02Speaker 10: them are we can do some of these injections. We're lucky.
- 22:05Speaker 10: We have great partnerships with some of our community partners.
- 22:07Speaker 10: You know, our lay of the Lake has been good
- 22:09Speaker 10: with donating a lot of money, resources and things like that.
- 22:11Speaker 10: You know, they're their partnership with l s U that
- 22:13Speaker 10: allows us to probably do a lot of things that
- 22:15Speaker 10: we wouldn't be able to do uh in other settings.
- 22:18Speaker 10: And you know, the guys don't have to leave the facility,
- 22:20Speaker 10: so we can do it there. With the stem cell
- 22:22Speaker 10: products kind of I know y'all talked about.
- 22:24Speaker 8: Some of your experiences.
- 22:25Speaker 10: If you're using your own, it's it's either going in
- 22:27Speaker 10: and taking a little fat, taking a little bone marrow bone. Mary,
- 22:29Speaker 10: you got a drill into the hips so that's definitely
- 22:31Speaker 10: a more invasive procedure. Drill into my hip bone please, Yeah,
- 22:38Speaker 10: and that that you know, so that does have a
- 22:39Speaker 10: little more downtime. There are you know, ways you can
- 22:42Speaker 10: use amniotic source products as well, though, and that's something
- 22:44Speaker 10: that you know, it's not as an FDA approved treatment,
- 22:47Speaker 10: so I think it's important people understand that, but it
- 22:48Speaker 10: is something that is done.
- 22:49Speaker 8: It is done here in the United States.
- 22:51Speaker 10: It's just you know, you have to kind of enter
- 22:53Speaker 10: into everything and those products they're frozen, so that's a
- 22:55Speaker 10: little bit more quick.
- 22:56Speaker 8: Of a process. So that is something that has sometimes
- 22:58Speaker 8: done as well.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It's explained that type of price it amniotic, right.
- 23:01Speaker 10: Right, So that so I think it's important to separate
- 23:03Speaker 10: what's the difference between amniotic and embryonic. Embryonic is when
- 23:06Speaker 10: it's taken from fetal tissues that will involves some type
- 23:09Speaker 10: of an abortion that is not done in the United States,
- 23:11Speaker 10: that is not legal, that one is not done. But
- 23:13Speaker 10: amniotic means at the time of a C section, they're
- 23:15Speaker 10: going to take some of the either umbilical or amniotic tissue,
- 23:18Speaker 10: they're able to concentrate that down and then they freeze it,
- 23:21Speaker 10: you know, using some you know, sub freezer negative eighty degrees,
- 23:24Speaker 10: and then those products are sometimes used. Now again they're
- 23:26Speaker 10: going to stimulate healing and recovery, they're not going to
- 23:28Speaker 10: grow new tissue, and I do think it's.
- 23:30Speaker 8: Important to have that separation.
- 23:32Speaker 10: But it is a process that that it can also
- 23:34Speaker 10: be pretty quick because you're not having to go in
- 23:36Speaker 10: and drill a hole in the hip or do anything else,
- 23:38Speaker 10: so you can do those injections. There's a lot of
- 23:41Speaker 10: other products out there. There's a product called exosomes there.
- 23:43Speaker 10: It's even a more refined version. And like I said,
- 23:45Speaker 10: I don't want to go too far down the rabbit hole.
- 23:47Speaker 10: It's I guess sit here and literally talk about this
- 23:49Speaker 10: for hours. It's something that's really really interesting that I
- 23:51Speaker 10: personally have a passion for something.
- 23:52Speaker 8: That we do a lot of. But there are you know,
- 23:55Speaker 8: there are issues there and we have to address those
- 23:58Speaker 8: as well.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Do you remember do you remember the first injury that
- 24:02Speaker 3: really kind of started us having you on hanging with hester.
- 24:07Speaker 3: It was in vogue and now I just don't hear
- 24:09Speaker 3: about it at all.
- 24:10Speaker 10: See was it the I know we talked about some
- 24:11Speaker 10: planner fascist stuff and about high ankles.
- 24:14Speaker 2: It was the tightrope the tightrope You're right, that's right.
- 24:17Speaker 8: It was because Tua Tongue about Loa.
- 24:18Speaker 3: I was twenty nineteen and he had the tightrope surgery
- 24:22Speaker 3: and they were going to play against LSU, and then
- 24:24Speaker 3: like it became something whereas like you saw it, you know,
- 24:27Speaker 3: just felt like every week it was like somebody major
- 24:29Speaker 3: was having the tightrope proceed Like where's that at right now?
- 24:32Speaker 3: Is that something you'll still see? Is it as common
- 24:35Speaker 3: or was that just something we never heard before? So
- 24:37Speaker 3: it kind of you know, blew up on the scene
- 24:39Speaker 3: because it was a star player, and then it felt
- 24:41Speaker 3: like everybody was getting it.
- 24:42Speaker 10: Yeah, I think, honestly, I think probably the latter it
- 24:45Speaker 10: is still something we do. I will say, maybe a
- 24:47Speaker 10: little bit less in vogue, you know, I think taking
- 24:51Speaker 10: a step back, you know, the question is do you
- 24:54Speaker 10: have to have the procedure?
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:55Speaker 8: And then why are we doing it?
- 24:56Speaker 10: Because sometimes in that scenario it was clearly something where
- 25:00Speaker 10: look like we're trying to get somebody back quicker, and
- 25:01Speaker 10: that's not necessarily a bad thing if it's safe.
- 25:03Speaker 8: You know, obviously, our goal is always get you.
- 25:05Speaker 10: On the field as quickly as possible, but obviously safety first,
- 25:08Speaker 10: you know, we don't want to put somebody harm's way,
- 25:09Speaker 10: and I think that was some of the concerns people
- 25:11Speaker 10: had early on, you know, the average person. There are
- 25:14Speaker 10: scenarios where the tightrope is definitely an applicable procedure if
- 25:17Speaker 10: it's a really, really bad ankle injury. But a lot
- 25:19Speaker 10: of times it's just you know, hey, let's boot you up,
- 25:20Speaker 10: let's do some rehab, let's give it time, and this
- 25:22Speaker 10: would heal. You know, if I had that same injury
- 25:24Speaker 10: that too had, I probably would not have a tightrope done. Yeah,
- 25:26Speaker 10: I'm not trying to go out and run you know,
- 25:28Speaker 10: next week, right, So it is still something we do,
- 25:31Speaker 10: I think, you know, we're kind of trying to really
- 25:32Speaker 10: refine when and where we do it. You know, maybe
- 25:35Speaker 10: at some point we were a little too aggressive. In
- 25:36Speaker 10: the sports medicine world, it's hard to say I don't
- 25:38Speaker 10: fault in anything that was done.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Like does it okay offensive linemen?
- 25:42Speaker 8: Speed guy? Skill guy?
- 25:44Speaker 3: Like does it matter like position wise? Because like is
- 25:48Speaker 3: it more torque because this guy is a bigger guy?
- 25:50Speaker 3: Like what like when you've seen it work and you've
- 25:52Speaker 3: seen it actually helped the athletes, like, does it matter
- 25:55Speaker 3: size wise and position?
- 25:56Speaker 2: Not?
- 25:57Speaker 10: Not really, not really, I think I think it really
- 25:59Speaker 10: comes down to, honestly, the biggest thing and the most
- 26:01Speaker 10: important thing is your physical exam. I can remember a
- 26:03Speaker 10: scenario where we were evaluating two players that played the
- 26:06Speaker 10: same position, bigger guys, uh, you know, front seven guys. Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 10: and the evaluation was very different, even though they had
- 26:12Speaker 10: a very similar MURA. We had one guy who literally
- 26:14Speaker 10: could not raise up onto his foot, He could not
- 26:16Speaker 10: raise up onto his toes, like for several days after
- 26:19Speaker 10: the injury.
- 26:20Speaker 8: The other athlete could.
- 26:21Speaker 10: And just something as significant as can I raise up
- 26:24Speaker 10: on my toes might be where we make that separation.
- 26:26Speaker 10: But we've we've seen the surgery and quarterbacks obviously, wide receivers,
- 26:30Speaker 10: deepensive lineman, offensive lineman, and and again the bigger the individual,
- 26:34Speaker 10: you know, maybe a little bit slower recovery. Sometimes you
- 26:36Speaker 10: put more force on it, but realistically it's mostly your
- 26:39Speaker 10: physical exam.
- 26:41Speaker 2: TALC.
- 26:41Speaker 6: We go back a little bit. I want to I
- 26:43Speaker 6: want to go back to the stem cell stuck. We
- 26:45Speaker 6: got a good question here in the chat that I
- 26:47Speaker 6: thought you talked about a lot of the stem cells
- 26:50Speaker 6: that comes from the like the umbilical of a C
- 26:52Speaker 6: section after after their child is born, Like when they
- 26:56Speaker 6: freeze that tissue, does any of the tissue matter? Is
- 26:59Speaker 6: that the freezing process destroy anything for the transportation?
- 27:03Speaker 8: It probably does. It probably does.
- 27:04Speaker 10: And and and again, like I mentioned earlier, these cells,
- 27:08Speaker 10: at least what we're doing in the human body, they're
- 27:10Speaker 10: not growing anything new directly, and some of that may
- 27:13Speaker 10: be because.
- 27:13Speaker 8: The frozen process.
- 27:14Speaker 10: But then on the other hand, like I said, I
- 27:16Speaker 10: actually think that's a good thing. I would be very
- 27:18Speaker 10: uncomfortable injecting some sell into your knee, not knowing what's
- 27:21Speaker 10: gonna do we micro hair in your knee. So I
- 27:23Speaker 10: think I think the idea, you know, I remember somebody
- 27:25Speaker 10: told me went, oh, yeah, they know what to do
- 27:27Speaker 10: and they know where to go. And I thought that
- 27:28Speaker 10: was a really bad explanation at the time, and it
- 27:30Speaker 10: turns out that was not accurate. Now, in the beginning,
- 27:32Speaker 10: we thought maybe that was what was happening. So, yes,
- 27:34Speaker 10: you do have some damage the tissue for sure, But again,
- 27:36Speaker 10: a lot of these these growth mediators are they do survive,
- 27:39Speaker 10: and they've done a lot of testing in the both
- 27:40Speaker 10: in the lab and animal models and even human models.
- 27:43Speaker 10: Where they've shown they can do some pretty cool things.
- 27:45Speaker 10: They can definitely help the body healing.
- 27:47Speaker 6: And like a very explain it to me, like I'm
- 27:49Speaker 6: a child, What is a shoe themselves? What is a
- 27:53Speaker 6: stem cell?
- 27:54Speaker 10: So stem cells are and there's some different types of
- 27:57Speaker 10: sin cells. You have your flury, potent, multipotent, and all
- 27:59Speaker 10: these different things that you'll hear, but basically it's the
- 28:02Speaker 10: cell that's the building block of everything. So when we
- 28:04Speaker 10: start off as just a group of cells, basically we
- 28:07Speaker 10: are a group of stem cells, and then those stem
- 28:09Speaker 10: cells can differentiate into other cells. So our skin cells
- 28:12Speaker 10: are our gut tissue, our muscle tissue, our bone tissue
- 28:16Speaker 10: all started off at stem cells, and if you go
- 28:18Speaker 10: back far enough during the developmental phase, they were all
- 28:21Speaker 10: the same type of stem cell. And then those stem
- 28:23Speaker 10: cells differentiate into what you see in your body now,
- 28:26Speaker 10: the skin, the muscle, the bone. So all it is
- 28:29Speaker 10: is a cell that can turn into anything, and that's
- 28:31Speaker 10: why the potential there is so awesome. You have the
- 28:33Speaker 10: cell that you can maybe grow new tissue with and
- 28:35Speaker 10: that's you know, one area that a lot of us thing,
- 28:37Speaker 10: maybe medicine is going Maybe one day we'll be able
- 28:39Speaker 10: to grow you a new meniscus in a jar and
- 28:41Speaker 10: then put.
- 28:41Speaker 8: It in your knee when you need it and things
- 28:43Speaker 8: like that.
- 28:43Speaker 10: Let me Yeah, and again we're not there, and I
- 28:46Speaker 10: think that's something that I think I'd love to see,
- 28:48Speaker 10: but we may never get there. You know, we're still
- 28:50Speaker 10: figuring all this stuff out, just to be very fair,
- 28:52Speaker 10: but you know, the potentials are there, and there have
- 28:55Speaker 10: been some scenarios where they have used them and been
- 28:57Speaker 10: able to do some pretty cool stuff.
- 28:59Speaker 2: All right, before we let you go Dtor afterwards.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I know you obviously can't talk specific players, but BK
- 29:04Speaker 3: did say everybody available ready to go. That that sounds
- 29:09Speaker 3: like that's good news. So it feels like not going,
- 29:12Speaker 3: not going? What a very healthy training camp?
- 29:14Speaker 10: Yeah, you know, and again I never want to do
- 29:16Speaker 10: se thing. I guess we're through training camp now, so
- 29:17Speaker 10: we can say the training camp was very healthy.
- 29:20Speaker 8: To make sure that we say we are now in
- 29:21Speaker 8: any camp. Yes, we are now in our in season preparations.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Uh.
- 29:25Speaker 10: And there's always things like we were talking about there,
- 29:26Speaker 10: there's gonna be some stuff and and unfortunately some years
- 29:29Speaker 10: more than others, and some your significant injuries.
- 29:31Speaker 8: Uh, I will say the staff that we have.
- 29:32Speaker 10: Now, they've done a really good job of kind of
- 29:34Speaker 10: monitoring the temperature of the team. They really do a
- 29:37Speaker 10: good job commune with the training staff and the medical
- 29:39Speaker 10: staff and and just making sure that we're not doing
- 29:42Speaker 10: too much. And I will say they're they're very on
- 29:44Speaker 10: on the pulse of that issue. So they've done a
- 29:46Speaker 10: really good job with it. But we're still gonna see
- 29:48Speaker 10: stuff here and there, and that's just part of it.
- 29:50Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:50Speaker 3: There he is, doctor Stephen, Thatdridge good enough to join
- 29:53Speaker 3: us here on OTB. Doc, We appreciate your time as always,

- 30:10Speaker 3: four five ESPN BET.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Route off the bench.
- 30:14Speaker 2: All right?
- 30:15Speaker 3: Go to Russellpools dot com. That is the website for
- 30:18Speaker 3: Russell Pool Company. And when you go to the website,
- 30:20Speaker 3: you'll see right there on the homepage you can check
- 30:22Speaker 3: out a gallery of work things they can do for you.
- 30:24Speaker 2: But one of the cool things if you go to
- 30:26Speaker 2: the website.
- 30:26Speaker 3: You see it continuing to change, you'll not see the
- 30:29Speaker 3: same two pools. Okay, they can customize it to whatever
- 30:32Speaker 3: your dream pool is two two five nine two four

- 30:41Speaker 2: What about a grotto?
- 30:43Speaker 3: Uh yeah, they can do that, easy river if you
- 30:45Speaker 3: want one. It feels like maybe that's part of your
- 30:48Speaker 3: idea that you want in your backyard because you know what, Matt,
- 30:51Speaker 3: you might dream in cartoons, but that's your dream. That
- 30:53Speaker 3: is your dream pool there. So go to Russellpools dot com.

- 31:29Speaker 9: I'm holding on your gutments and feet off the ground.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Locked in on ULSU football twenty four to seven. You're
- 31:37Speaker 1: listening to off the bench, but you.
- 31:39Speaker 9: Just can't make you soon you tell me that your
- 31:46Speaker 9: need evin you go and come me down wit you
- 31:53Speaker 9: tell me that you're sorry. Didn't think an I let
- 31:57Speaker 9: you get to.
- 31:57Speaker 2: The hook, please do. Let's play the whole thing. Kind
- 32:07Speaker 2: of a banger, uh, kind of forgot about one. Republics
- 32:18Speaker 2: all right?
- 32:18Speaker 8: Would you rather Wednesday.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Won and over Republic after this week?
- 32:23Speaker 4: I like it?
- 32:24Speaker 2: Boom, suck it, Clemson going down. You're gonna fall down
- 32:32Speaker 2: that hill, Dabbo face plant, torn a c l.
- 32:39Speaker 4: The heat, it was the heat of the moment came out.
- 32:44Speaker 6: I want to step on their throat. Dabo is gonna
- 32:49Speaker 6: need themselves Andrew falls down that hill.
- 32:55Speaker 8: Would you rather.
- 32:58Speaker 3: In the background it would you rather sit in baton
- 33:02Speaker 3: rouge traffic on Nicholson after an LSU game, or get
- 33:06Speaker 3: stuck on it in over the basin at rush hour
- 33:11Speaker 3: chaff fly of basin, by the way, in case you
- 33:13Speaker 3: didn't know, Chols chaff fly basin.
- 33:16Speaker 2: If you're stuck there, it is misery.
- 33:18Speaker 3: It is one of the worst things that can happen
- 33:20Speaker 3: to you, because there's nowhere to go. If I'm stuck
- 33:23Speaker 3: on Nicholson, you know what, Sometimes I'm gonna pull off
- 33:25Speaker 3: to the shoulder right here, and I'm just you can
- 33:27Speaker 3: do a gas station.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah, something real quick.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I can pull into the Matherns parking lot. You know,
- 33:33Speaker 3: maybe Windy's is open or something. Chaff fly basin, you
- 33:38Speaker 3: stuck bo.
- 33:39Speaker 2: At least you're close to home. You can feel it
- 33:42Speaker 2: since home, since home. If you get mad enough, you're like,
- 33:45Speaker 2: you know what, I'm walking.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Yeah, I've certainly done that before. You're like, man, once
- 33:50Speaker 6: I get past ben Her, it's clear.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I h twenty nineteen, just did the post game,
- 34:01Speaker 3: and I forget what the situation was, but I got
- 34:05Speaker 3: dropped off at the game. Did the game, blah blah blah,
- 34:08Speaker 3: And we looked very close to the stadium and they
- 34:10Speaker 3: wouldn't allow Katie to get to me.
- 34:13Speaker 8: They just like wouldn't do it. I couldn't get there.
- 34:16Speaker 3: And it was like the first time they'd ever shut
- 34:17Speaker 3: off this way to get to the stadium atter of
- 34:19Speaker 3: the game because something something right. And so I'm like,
- 34:22Speaker 3: I'm walking, I live, i live, like two and a
- 34:24Speaker 3: half miles, three miles, I'm walking right, the cars zooming
- 34:28Speaker 3: past me whatever, and one zoom passed. Man, It's like,
- 34:32Speaker 3: hes the hell you doing? I look back and it
- 34:35Speaker 3: was Clyde Edwards Layer.
- 34:37Speaker 2: It's like, man, get in the car. What are you doing.
- 34:38Speaker 8: I was like, I'm walking home.
- 34:40Speaker 2: You mean, tired of sitting here and tired of waiting.
- 34:43Speaker 3: I mean I was like, sweat, just pouring sweat, just
- 34:46Speaker 3: that madly I'm walking.
- 34:48Speaker 8: So I don't, no, well I did.
- 34:51Speaker 3: I was like, absolutely, I would not advise trying to
- 34:55Speaker 3: walk in the heat after working the game all day,
- 34:58Speaker 3: even if you are second.
- 34:59Speaker 6: Traffic champing the the chat here, I said, who's stuck
- 35:03Speaker 6: on the base for ten hours?
- 35:04Speaker 2: Oh my god. Also when I'm on a.
- 35:06Speaker 6: Bridge, like the intrusive thoughts take ever, sometimes I'm like,
- 35:09Speaker 6: you know, man made this, God didn't make those.
- 35:11Speaker 2: This could collapse at any moment. I think that every
- 35:13Speaker 2: time I go to port Allen, every time, at least
- 35:17Speaker 2: I ten bridge is pretty good. Yeah, never think that
- 35:20Speaker 2: when I'm on the ten bridge. All right? Would you rather?
- 35:26Speaker 6: Would you rather be born and live your life one
- 35:30Speaker 6: hundred years in the past or one hundred years in
- 35:33Speaker 6: the future past you don't have the knowledge you don't
- 35:36Speaker 6: have Like, you can't you can't be like Biff from
- 35:38Speaker 6: Back to the Future, like Gambers, Yeah, you can't.
- 35:41Speaker 2: You can't do that.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Okay, So would I rather live Let's say in nineteen prohibition.
- 35:47Speaker 4: I'm gonna be okay, I don't know.
- 35:49Speaker 2: Man, Oh wait a minute, Like you wouldn't want to
- 35:51Speaker 2: do that. You'd be you'd be fighting age.
- 35:54Speaker 8: Yeah, but that's when that's what forty forty is fighting age.
- 36:00Speaker 2: No, you'd be born in nineteen twenty five.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Oh sure, I'm not a forty I'm not a forty
- 36:08Speaker 3: year old at this point. I'm born in nineteen twelve.
- 36:10Speaker 3: So I'm in World War two. Yeah, you're in fight nature.
- 36:14Speaker 6: Oh no, man, I mean one hundred years in the future,
- 36:16Speaker 6: he could be like turn fighting them robics.
- 36:18Speaker 3: I mean, everybody used to like dress up and you know,
- 36:22Speaker 3: styling and profile and every day. It's the grittiest. I
- 36:28Speaker 3: think it was the grittiest generation, the greatest. I don't
- 36:32Speaker 3: really think it's a question, well it's the greatest. I
- 36:34Speaker 3: think it's the grittiest too. I'm going back. I'm not
- 36:38Speaker 3: going the future. I don't know what that looks like.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I know what the past looks like, and it's gritty,
- 36:44Speaker 3: So give me the past.
- 36:46Speaker 7: I always say future, but yeah, I'm going past, Like,
- 36:48Speaker 7: I don't want to know what the future looks like
- 36:50Speaker 7: one hundred years from now.
- 36:51Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I just have a just respect for
- 36:56Speaker 6: some good old fashioned ass kicking patriot.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Let's go back.
- 37:05Speaker 5: I'm gonna go back to the past because for some reason,
- 37:09Speaker 5: the future just seems very.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Dystopian and bleak to me, and a lot more depressing.
- 37:16Speaker 5: That's how I see it, whereas like in the past,
- 37:19Speaker 5: we were very optimistic about things. Also, nineteen twenty five
- 37:23Speaker 5: art Deco, Gatsby.
- 37:25Speaker 4: All of that. Speaky blinders, speaky blinders.
- 37:28Speaker 6: Yeah, but in fairness, most people never like see that
- 37:32Speaker 6: art because they didn't have any way to see it.
- 37:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but maybe I did.
- 37:38Speaker 2: We don't know, it's right.
- 37:42Speaker 6: Yeah, the future seems scary. I think I kind of
- 37:45Speaker 6: get depressed when I think about the movie Wally.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's what I imagine.
- 37:53Speaker 6: Just sitting there watching screens the whole time. Yea, somewhere
- 37:56Speaker 6: in outer space, no.
- 37:58Speaker 8: Bo, give me a little.
- 38:01Speaker 2: I gotta feel a paper boy hat, some suspenders.
- 38:04Speaker 6: No people, you're gonna feeling. People in one hundred years
- 38:06Speaker 6: aren't gonna be quite as gritty.
- 38:09Speaker 8: Not now.
- 38:11Speaker 2: They for sure aren't gonna be like right now. That's
- 38:14Speaker 2: where you have to protect Mike Alstott at all costs.
- 38:16Speaker 2: We would dominate people in one hundred years for sure.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Dominate him right now? Yeah, in their faces? Yeah, like Clemson.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Yeah all right, Elandra, would you rather have your life
- 38:29Speaker 5: narrated by Morgan Freeman or Samuel L.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Jackson? I feel like my vibe is more Samuel.
- 38:37Speaker 8: Yes, Samuel Morgan.
- 38:38Speaker 2: So I mean that's that's a good one.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, Morgan elite, maybe the goat of narration.
- 38:47Speaker 2: But the intrigue of having Samuel L.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Jackson go off script m probably is gonna be worth it.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I'm going to Samuel Man can drop an F word
- 39:00Speaker 2: better than anybody.
- 39:01Speaker 3: It's it's a talent. It's a talent and if you
- 39:04Speaker 3: if you force it, if you force a bit just
- 39:08Speaker 3: doesn't hit the same night when it just rolls off
- 39:10Speaker 3: the tongue in the right way, in the right manner,
- 39:13Speaker 3: the right presentation. He's got it at an elite level, yeah, Samuel, Yeah,
- 39:19Speaker 3: he'd be, he'd be funnier.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he'd be. I mean that that'd be the like
- 39:22Speaker 2: the birth grade. But like he's more unexpected. Pretty good
- 39:25Speaker 2: with him. I know, I know what I'm gidding with
- 39:26Speaker 2: Morgan Freeman, and it's great.
- 39:28Speaker 3: But yeah, not that it's it's est here, but the
- 39:31Speaker 3: unexpected It's like you know when you're watching the game
- 39:34Speaker 3: show with someone with Wayne Brady.
- 39:37Speaker 2: When you get whose line is it? No, that's a
- 39:40Speaker 2: good one.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Well where they're dressed up and stuff, Yeah.
- 39:43Speaker 3: And you get to choose, right something, do you want
- 39:45Speaker 3: this boat over here to the left or do you
- 39:48Speaker 3: want the mystery box? It could be a boat, but
- 39:50Speaker 3: it could be anything. That's from Family Guy. What's Wayne
- 39:54Speaker 3: Brady's show?
- 39:56Speaker 6: I don't really remember them, but that scene is specifically
- 39:59Speaker 6: from Family Guy.
- 39:59Speaker 4: That's make it.
- 40:00Speaker 8: Let's make a deal. There we go.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like, oh, man, Samuel l could be he
- 40:05Speaker 3: could be a boat, but he also could be a
- 40:07Speaker 3: yacht go there, so kind of.
- 40:10Speaker 6: Yeah, it's it's from Family Got Peter Guys like you
- 40:12Speaker 6: want the mystery box or a boat? And Peter Griffin's like,
- 40:15Speaker 6: I'll take the mystery box. It could be a boat.
- 40:22Speaker 8: Uh, going the lines?
- 40:23Speaker 2: All right? All right?
- 40:25Speaker 7: With a labor day coming up, everybody's last beach of
- 40:29Speaker 7: lake trips coming up?
- 40:30Speaker 2: Would you rather learn how to surf or water ski?
- 40:36Speaker 4: Water seems so much more fun to me.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Water skiing is it's easy to accessible, like wagboarding is
- 40:46Speaker 3: harder than skiing.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Where are you gonna go surfing.
- 40:49Speaker 7: I think sing though, just because like it looks cool,
- 40:52Speaker 7: Like you see there's a dude driving, Like there's six waves.
- 40:55Speaker 6: You look way cooler. It's kind of like, well, it's
- 40:58Speaker 6: not like that at all, but like opportunity. I went
- 41:01Speaker 6: in for the first time a couple of years ago.
- 41:02Speaker 6: I never did it when I was in my playing years.
- 41:04Speaker 6: I didn't want to like rip my money off, like
- 41:08Speaker 6: training camp. I don't want to rip my leg off,
- 41:11Speaker 6: and it's like, do you want a snowboard or do
- 41:13Speaker 6: you want to ski? Snowboarding looks way cooler, but I
- 41:16Speaker 6: knew it was Skiing was a passive path of least resistance.
- 41:19Speaker 6: I could get on the skis and go down a
- 41:21Speaker 6: hill quicker. You wouldn't take as much training. And I
- 41:24Speaker 6: don't do it very often.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Like when you're gonna surf, you're gonna go to Hawaii
- 41:29Speaker 2: and California, then nobody can go.
- 41:32Speaker 3: You can go in the Carolinas too, bo, nobody's going there, bro.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Do you even shred the arms?
- 41:38Speaker 2: Portugal?
- 41:38Speaker 6: Hey, we were at uh my brother in law got
- 41:41Speaker 6: married in Portugal a couple of years ago, and I
- 41:46Speaker 6: just Portugal. It's pretty not that expensive place to go fantastic.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Uh So there's this place it's called Nazar. I think
- 41:53Speaker 6: it's the biggest surf waves in the whole entire world.
- 41:56Speaker 2: I know you're talking about. So we went there and
- 41:57Speaker 2: like saw these waves and it was like terrifying.
- 42:00Speaker 6: But he would he was getting like jet ski jet
- 42:03Speaker 6: ski out.
- 42:04Speaker 2: That's what I say. I felt like a less number
- 42:07Speaker 2: of people know how to serve. How probably picked that one?
- 42:09Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, when you're gonna do it, though, shread the door.
- 42:13Speaker 6: Almost keep doing this. Almost got decapitated surfing. The one
- 42:16Speaker 6: time I went surfing, I was in Hawaii. Lot did
- 42:19Speaker 6: the capitation talk today. I was in Hawaii. My buddy
- 42:23Speaker 6: was in the Pro Bowl. We went there, went to
- 42:24Speaker 6: support him for a couple of days. Invited us out there.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I mean, we knew it, wouldn't you. So I went
- 42:29Speaker 2: to the Pro Bowl, no point at there. Clock went
- 42:32Speaker 2: to the Pro Bowl and I went surfing.
- 42:34Speaker 6: We're like they were in surf lessons and they were like,
- 42:36Speaker 6: do you want to are you a beginner? Have you
- 42:37Speaker 6: ever done it? And because you go to like this
- 42:39Speaker 6: kiddie pool and we're like, no, we we've served before.
- 42:41Speaker 2: Let's go it.
- 42:42Speaker 6: Take us out to this whitle area and uh, I
- 42:44Speaker 6: fall off my surfboard and the wave threw the surfboard
- 42:47Speaker 6: right over my head. But I'd seen a video like
- 42:49Speaker 6: a year before of a guy getting hit in the
- 42:51Speaker 6: head of the surfboard. Yeah, I saw that video play
- 42:53Speaker 6: out of my head and I ducked. As soon as
- 42:55Speaker 6: I ducked surfboard right over my head. We almost didn't
- 42:59Speaker 6: have matrix the.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Capitation.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Talk more of that coming up here on OTV. Off
