FDA Issues Class One Recall for Frozen Blueberries | Annapolis News
FDA just upgraded a frozen blueberry recall to the highest risk level — Class One — due to possible E. coli O145 contamination. Twelve people across Florida and Georgia have gotten sick, four hospitalized, with no deaths yet reported. The recall now covers all lots of GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries and some Mixed Berries sold at Publix in eight states. If you have these berries, throw them out or return them for a refund — symptoms include severe stomach pain and bloody diarrhea. Don’t risk it.
