- 0:07Now broadcasting from the Next Gen. conservative studio in
- 0:12sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics,
- 0:16current events and pop culture. This is the Whitfield Report
- 0:21with Sam Whitfield. You know, I know I've said it
- 0:31before, but we love you Rumble. But seriously, at at this point,
- 0:41you guys really do need to fix your stream keysteps.
- 0:45Yo shit. But.
- 0:48But I've been making this complaint for like 2 years now
- 0:51and I'm a fucking subscriber Rumble.
- 0:55I would stream more on your fucking platform myself.
- 0:58If you just didn't make me have to get a new stream key every
- 1:02like you do 2 streams in the same day, well you need 2 stream
- 1:05keys brother hell. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08It's a pain in an extra 30 seconds of bullshit that I don't
- 1:11need to do. Only fans does.
- 1:14This chick does this. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:18We yeah, Streamy used to do it. Yeah, we we were, we were just
- 1:23talking like. The other thing too is like, you
- 1:27know, I I did stream, I did stream the presidential debate
- 1:34on one of my YouTube channels. That isn't banned.
- 1:37And I haven't used YouTube. And I I, you know, I know
- 1:41everyone complaints about YouTube, but I mean like them,
- 1:45love them or hate them, that YouTube studio, man, there
- 1:51really is nothing else like it. Just.
- 1:55You know, yeah, it yeah, it has its bugs too on occasion.
- 1:59But you know, for the most part, they have it.
- 2:02They have it down pat. It's really.
- 2:07Say what you want about Twitch, their dashboard, they're fucking
- 2:10perfect. Everything I need right there,
- 2:12Connect to games 'cause there's game.
- 2:14That's the thing that sucks. If you're a game streamer, there
- 2:17is games that connect to your Twitch chat that you can't
- 2:20connect to any other fucking chat.
- 2:21It'd be fun to play like. Hand of Fate to or some of these
- 2:26ones where where if you have people in chat they get to vote
- 2:29on fucking you over, but like you can only do that on Twitch
- 2:33and ain't nobody watching me gonna watch on Twitch.
- 2:36Right and. I can stream on Twitch, but I
- 2:39have to censor myself so fucking much.
- 2:42It's not you can say fucking all you want.
- 2:45I'd have to remove all my flags though.
- 2:50Yeah, I mean we, I mean we we could stream on YouTube.
- 2:53We just, you know, we might have to tone back some of the stuff
- 2:57that we say and you know. And we don't have to.
- 3:03We don't have. We don't have to.
- 3:05Get us a just get us a fucking stream key.
- 3:09It's permanent or it's not permanent.
- 3:11Just like one stream key Rumble 1.
- 3:13Just we want one. I know you know it.
- 3:16I've seen y'all talking in some discord about it.
- 3:19You need to do it. You're the only streaming
- 3:21platform that doesn't do that. The only one.
- 3:24What? Yeah, Like like at like, at this
- 3:28point, too. Like Rumble, like, I I rumble
- 3:30like talking like, like, they just acquired Colin, which is
- 3:36like a podcast platform. That's cool.
- 3:41Like. Wonderful.
- 3:42Fix your basic functionality first.
- 3:44Yeah, like I don't need. I don't need a podcasting
- 3:49platform like a lot of people already use Spotify, like
- 3:56streaming is your primary thing. And also like just basic video
- 4:01uploads like I want to be able to do tag.
- 4:03Video uploading is fine, I've never had a problem with that.
- 4:08The back end. The back end on Rumble looks
- 4:11like it's from 2003, just generally.
- 4:15It's gotten a little better over the two years that I've like,
- 4:19I'm paying you money, guys, You should maybe listen to me at the
- 4:21very least. I don't know.
- 4:24That's why I don't stream on your platform as much as as much
- 4:28as I might, maybe would otherwise.
- 4:29It's just such an annoying little thing.
- 4:32Yeah. And plus sometimes Dave says the
- 4:34N word and I can't stream on here.
- 4:39Well, I mean that that is one thing is I do pay.
- 4:42I do actually pay for Odyssey. The problem with Odyssey is like
- 4:47even as a even as like a paying, you know, member of Odyssey,
- 4:52like Odyssey has been so buggy like and laggy as flags.
- 4:58Target audience. It's target audience.
- 5:00It seems like they they've all fallen in a niche Kick is like
- 5:04the edgy game streamer site, right?
- 5:06As opposed to Twitch. Rumble is the politics, you
- 5:10know, conservative politics site, whether that be videos or
- 5:13whatever else. Yes, they have other things
- 5:14here, but that's primarily why people come to Rumble.
- 5:18And Odyssey is nerd shit. Like if you're looking for,
- 5:21like, good videos on hacking, if you're looking for good videos
- 5:25about Linux and distribution, if you're looking for you're
- 5:29looking for astrophysicists. If you're looking for anything
- 5:33really, fucking nerdy. Odyssey might be the best spot
- 5:37on the Internet for all that, but the bugs in the fucking
- 5:41software, because of it being blockchain based there, there
- 5:44are some issues with that. However, I'm going to I was just
- 5:48talking to you. I have an idea that I mean, and
- 5:51if nobody comes, that's great, but my idea is I'm going to do a
- 5:54show like I did in 2007 for cryptic radio in the modern day.
- 6:00So we're going to, I'm going to go with my full DJ voice on for
- 6:04it. We're going to fight.
- 6:06I'm going to get hype. We're going to play music, A lot
- 6:11of it. I can get permission for knowing
- 6:14a lot of these artists if I tell them what I'm doing and me and
- 6:17I'm going to try and get some to call in and and chat with me.
- 6:22But basically we're going to, we're going to do an old school
- 6:25Internet radio piracy style, a show where we play the music,
- 6:31talk about spooky stories and and and.
- 6:35You know, the my interactions with people in underground rap
- 6:38music and it's going to be audio only because that's how we used
- 6:43to do this. Yeah.
- 6:45We'll be straight. There will be something on the
- 6:47screen, but it's not going to matter.
- 6:50So yeah, Max Sand returns to his former show, The Midnight Hours.
- 6:58Halloween Edition. And I will be playing the
- 7:01wickedest, most vile, violent, obscene music.
- 7:07Rap, rock, you name it. Country.
- 7:10All of it. The most disturbing, sick,
- 7:13wicked music you can think of for about two hours.
- 7:17As for Halloween. And talk about spooky stories
- 7:20and shit. If anybody's interested in that,
- 7:22it'll be a lot of fun. If not, I'm going to still do it
- 7:25and have fun. Crypto returns for one night
- 7:29only. In 2023.
- 7:32That. I'm going to have to do it
- 7:34myself since the Cryptic guys are all gone.
- 7:38I'm the last man sticking up for Cryptic, but that's OK 'cause I
- 7:41was the one that came up with our catch phrase.
- 7:43I was the one that did all the bumpers.
- 7:45I was I did everything for Cryptic.
- 7:48I was Cryptic radio. So I feel entitled to bring
- 7:51Cryptic Radio back for one night only and it will be on Odyssey
- 7:55because I have a low chance of getting thrown off.
- 7:59Yeah, I mean. YouTube doesn't care.
- 8:01If I ask artists that I know personally and get written
- 8:04permission from them to play their music, which I can totally
- 8:07do, YouTube doesn't care. They'll still copy claim it.
- 8:11Yeah, even. Yeah, they'll copy claim it.
- 8:15And even once you have and even once you appeal it and say no
- 8:19the the artist literally gave me permission, they'll still
- 8:24they'll still bonk bonk you for it.
- 8:27I know from. Old school style.
- 8:35We never give a fuck about getting the fucking right
- 8:37saying. Half the time people were asking
- 8:38me to play their music anyway. I get all these underground
- 8:41artists like hey you do underground uncensored music.
- 8:45We make that kind of music. If you play it, people who
- 8:48already like that kind of music might know we exist.
- 8:51So most of the shit I played I absolutely had permission for.
- 8:54I even got some pre release shit from like Psychopathic Records
- 8:58and ICP and they would let me do a pre release party where I got
- 9:02to play the whole album. Before it came out.
- 9:05So everybody got to listen to it one time on the radio and then
- 9:08or the Internet radio and then the fucking record would come
- 9:11out. That's actually good promo
- 9:13because people don't just listen to a record one time.
- 9:16You know what I'm saying? And so.
- 9:18If I. Hear the whole thing and they
- 9:19know that it's dope and it usually was at that time.
- 9:23I will say that psychopathic. And I see PS that quality of
- 9:27music has kind of gone very downhill.
- 9:32But back then it wasn't. Or maybe I'm just old, but I
- 9:36don't think that's it. Because their records aren't
- 9:38selling the way they used to. Nobody's is.
- 9:42But they're also not as high up on, like Spotify charts as I
- 9:45thought they might be. Compared to.
- 9:47Other artists in the same kind of space.
- 9:51No, that's that's definitely the case.
- 9:54And Speaking of going back to your roots, I kind of went back
- 9:58to. My roots a bit this week.
- 10:03So Israel, for those you know, it's been in the news.
- 10:08A lot of people have been talking about it.
- 10:11Earlier this week, as some of you might have seen on Spotify.
- 10:16I did do an interview with my friend Itena Hecht.
- 10:22Who isn't it? Who is an American Israeli
- 10:28citizen? I've known her for about 6
- 10:33years. Pretty good interview, albeit a
- 10:37bit short, but you know, honestly that was kind of her
- 10:44preference to have it be a bit shorter.
- 10:49I've gotten some feedback on the podcast, as I said at the
- 10:53beginning of the episode, because I I did a disclaimer.
- 10:58Yes, I know there are audio issues with that podcast I I
- 11:04didn't post, I didn't actually post the episode until 10:30 at
- 11:09night. The reason being is when when
- 11:12recorded the episode, her Internet connection was kind of
- 11:17cutting in and out a bit and I guess we we ended up chalking
- 11:25that up to the fact that, you know.
- 11:28She's in Israel. Like she literally is not
- 11:32directly in a war zone. She's actually in one of the
- 11:35safer parts of Israel, but still the country is at war and so.
- 11:40It's not a giant country either. It's so it's not like she's a
- 11:43million miles away. Yeah, and and also she.
- 11:48She doesn't have a, she doesn't have like a good setup like you
- 11:52know Max, I do. She was literally when I talked
- 11:55her, she was using her phone for you know for Skyping in you
- 12:05know. And we we didn't.
- 12:07We, you know, we had a pretty good interview.
- 12:10And you know, one of the reasons why I wanted to have her on was
- 12:15because. Right.
- 12:18We we keep hearing from all these experts on both sides in
- 12:23the Middle East and. Or people who act like experts.
- 12:28Well yeah that that that actually Max tends to be more of
- 12:33the more of the case as we hear as we hear from some people who
- 12:38for those of you who are listening heavy air quotes are
- 12:42experts quote UN quote and. You know, look, I I've actually
- 12:51been thinking about this a lot lately.
- 12:53Today I try not to get too much on my soapbox here, but I I
- 12:59would like to think that one of the things I try and do here on
- 13:03the show that I've always tried to do is have meaningful
- 13:08conversations. And I think it is.
- 13:11Meaningful to a civilian in a war zone, who, as far as I can
- 13:15tell. Doesn't have, you know, foreign
- 13:20policy expertise on every angle of the situation.
- 13:23She's just there. That's what came across to me.
- 13:25Listening to it, I I don't know. Right.
- 13:28And that I think. Is a needed perspective that you
- 13:31don't see a lot of. Yeah, I mean she, you know,
- 13:34like. Obviously, obviously everybody
- 13:36has an idea of what's going on, but she doesn't know every in
- 13:40and out of the last 60 years of fucking.
- 13:43You know what I mean? Foreign policy between the
- 13:45Palestinians and and the Israeli, like, she's just there,
- 13:49man, right. She knows.
- 13:52She knows there was a terror attack.
- 13:53She doesn't know every little detail, cause none of us do
- 13:57'cause we're not there. And she's just telling you from
- 13:59a civilian on the ground how it's affected her life.
- 14:01And I think that's an important fucking interview.
- 14:04So. You for bringing it to us.
- 14:06And so yeah and that and that was my that was my whole point
- 14:10and and the the reason I'm kind of.
- 14:12The reason I kind of bring this up is because I got criticism
- 14:17because, oh, she didn't talk about this, that or the other
- 14:21thing. And it's like, well, no, she
- 14:23wasn't. About what she knows about.
- 14:25Yeah, she and. And by the way, she also says
- 14:28that she isn't, you know, an expert.
- 14:34You know all that other shit. Like if you want those autistic
- 14:37details, you can find them all. She's going to tell you what she
- 14:40knows. Where she's at, where she's
- 14:43coming from. You know, she and for the things
- 14:46that she did speak and for the things that she was able to
- 14:49speak on, she actually did say, look, go to my sub stack here
- 14:54are my, you know here are my sources that I'm using for you
- 14:59know you know. As far as I understood it
- 15:04politically wasn't her whole like.
- 15:07Issue. She's like a one issue type
- 15:09person. It was abortion that she was
- 15:10talking about, mostly correct. Well.
- 15:14Pro-life was a very big issue for her, I should say.
- 15:17I don't know if it was her. One issue, but it certainly was
- 15:20something that she's very big on.
- 15:22Yeah, she so, so kind of just for further background, so I
- 15:27met, I met her. She's also, she's also very pro,
- 15:32you know, she is a dual citizen, so she's still.
- 15:36Does vote. She's very she's very pro Trump
- 15:41and that's how I that's how I first met her was back in the
- 15:47day we met in like a we actually met in the Owen Benjamin like
- 15:52Facebook group before Owen Benjamin went like full crazy
- 15:57because he was kind of in you know mainstream conservative
- 16:04circles. I'm.
- 16:06I met, I met Etana because she, you know, she's a Big Ben
- 16:09Shapiro fan. And.
- 16:12The fact that I interviewed Ben, she wanted to kind of talk to me
- 16:16and you know, so like I've gotten to know her over the
- 16:20course of six years. Like for one of the things that
- 16:23she this, this kind of good just goes to show how crazy I didn't
- 16:29realize how long I had really known her.
- 16:31But just to give you guys some perspective.
- 16:46Well I just want to point out while you're while you're doing
- 16:49that we'd be open to having a civilian in Palestine come in
- 16:54and talk as well and and we wouldn't expect them to know the
- 16:59insurance and outs and every detail of anything either.
- 17:04That's just, not. Feasible.
- 17:06OK, yeah. As I was saying, when I first
- 17:09met her, she had, she had small children and now her kids are
- 17:18like teenagers now. And that's, you know, it's kind
- 17:26of like that's kind of mind blowing to think that I like,
- 17:30I've known her for that long. Like I've seen you.
- 17:33Know. You know, and and like that's
- 17:36the other thing too is like, you know, we were talking like we
- 17:40were, we were talking at like the fear point element.
- 17:43And like, you know, just so that, like other people know,
- 17:47like even a lot of the Israeli citizens, like, tell their kids,
- 17:51you know, don't go on, don't go on social media, you know, or
- 17:55like they don't even pay attention.
- 17:56To the The hardcore violence that's being so casually strewn
- 18:00across social media, I. People don't seem to understand
- 18:05that viewing images like that do have detrimental effects on
- 18:08mental health of most human beings.
- 18:10Unless you're a psycho, unless you're an actual psychopath,
- 18:14looking at that stuff is not good for your mindset at all.
- 18:18This is why I I I told you before with the show.
- 18:22I was like, I've been not paying attention because everybody's
- 18:24being doomer and war and death. And.
- 18:28Destruction. I'm from the streets and because
- 18:32of that. Like I have I guess a much more
- 18:36grounded connection to the people around me in my local
- 18:40area than some kind of abstract concept across Now talking to
- 18:45like you did, talking to a civilian caught in in a in a in
- 18:49a war zone is is that's something that appeals to
- 18:52somebody like me because I relate to that from that ground
- 18:56level what I want to relate to. Is all the people at the top of
- 18:59Hamas and all the people at the top of Israel who think that
- 19:01killing each other is fine? Now I understand that they both
- 19:04both can make a case to you and explain to you why they do what
- 19:08they do and why it's right. Both.
- 19:11Sides can do that. That doesn't mean that either
- 19:14one is morally justified or not. I'm not making a moral
- 19:17judgement. I'm saying that if you talk to
- 19:18Hamas, they'll be like, Oh yes, we're doing it because of this,
- 19:22that and the other thing. That they have done to us over
- 19:24the years. Likewise, if you talk to Israel,
- 19:26you'd be like, oh, but look at all these terrorist attacks that
- 19:28they've committed. They both have justification to
- 19:31themselves. Nobody is the villain in their
- 19:33own story. Hamas does not consider
- 19:35themselves the bad guys, no matter how much everybody else
- 19:38might. Al Qaeda bin Laden never
- 19:43considered themselves the bad guys and and it.
- 19:45You have to understand that. But from where I'm sitting,
- 19:49there are a lot of homeless people near me.
- 19:52There's veterans who can't get housing.
- 19:55There's immigrants coming in that don't speak a lick of
- 19:57fucking English and they're coming in illegally and they're
- 20:00just dropping them off. There's a crime, you know, gun
- 20:04crime. I I might have talked about this
- 20:06on the show, but I I I was a a witness too.
- 20:10And and in a way a victim of a fucking gun crime Not that long
- 20:13ago some guy. Directly across the street from
- 20:16my house. And this is a good neighborhood
- 20:18by the way. This is a really good
- 20:19neighborhood in a good city that doesn't have anything like this
- 20:21happen. Ever.
- 20:22A guy opened fire while my wife, son, and mother-in-law were in
- 20:26the car leaving to go vote in the fucking mayoral election.
- 20:30This guy across the street opened fire at a random car shot
- 20:337 times. Right about 100 feet from where
- 20:36I'm sitting right now. Well.
- 20:40I don't actually like, I don't actually care to to send our
- 20:44blood and treasure to Israel when I have a fucking war zone
- 20:48outside my front door sometimes. I've never experienced that in
- 20:52my whole life and I'm from the fucking streets.
- 20:54I'm not from a nice neighborhood like this.
- 20:57I'm from places where people would shoot on occasion.
- 21:00But it was never so fucking casual and blatant right in
- 21:03front of my fucking 6 year old child and his mother.
- 21:08Right. Who were then worried that they
- 21:09were gonna get shot, obviously. Yeah, nothing crazy but but but
- 21:14I have to care about some conflict that's a couple fucking
- 21:17generations old, at least from a fucking place that I'll never go
- 21:21to. More that has no impact on my
- 21:24life whatsoever. Yeah, more.
- 21:27Well, I mean more like I feel bad for the victims of the
- 21:32violence. I really, really do.
- 21:35But we're we're victims of violence.
- 21:38We're victims of the fucking fentanyl getting pushed onto our
- 21:41streets that are killing people. We're victims of this inflation
- 21:45driving it. So you did like the same amount
- 21:47of money you're making because your wages probably haven't gone
- 21:49up very much. Doesn't buy you fucking shit
- 21:52anymore. Right.
- 21:55No, exactly that. That's what that's what we're
- 21:58doing. That's what normal people are
- 22:00more concerned about. I'm sorry about like the mess
- 22:03that's going on over there. It's horrible, all those
- 22:06children. It's terrible.
- 22:08But we got our own fucking problems.
- 22:10It it's also though and this is you know this is kind of the
- 22:15title because I really haven't been paying much attention.
- 22:17It's just gonna inflate more to send you all some money so that
- 22:21we're even poorer. How does that even make sense?
- 22:27Well, I don't have the money to send anymore.
- 22:31I haven't been paying much. I haven't been paying that much
- 22:34attention to this, to this, to this, this week either, Mac.
- 22:38But the only thing I saw was Joe Biden said he wanted to send
- 22:41money to both sides. Good idea.
- 22:45Yeah, I great idea. Let's fund their fucking
- 22:47bloodshed against each other, you fucking moron.
- 22:52But that's what he wants, right? Yeah, you know who's benefiting
- 22:55off all of this. Let's let's just stop with the
- 22:57bullshit. Who's benefiting?
- 22:58Raytheon stock through the fucking roof.
- 23:00I wonder why all the fucking defense contractors stocks are
- 23:03through the fucking roof. I wonder fucking why?
- 23:07Well, and then good for them, It's good for business.
- 23:11Well, and then also, this is one of the things that children are
- 23:15feeding them. Literally.
- 23:18This is one of the things I wanted to talk about and I'm
- 23:21even kind of a little upset with Tucker on, you know on this I I
- 23:24generally tend to like Tucker, but everyone in the news media
- 23:28like. And including some of the
- 23:31independent political commentators all they can talk
- 23:34of is World War three is is pending.
- 23:40I I swear some of them actually get like aroused by like this is
- 23:48the idea of literal like fear port.
- 23:50I I swear that like some of these people get aroused, it has
- 23:55the same. Of the They've done this.
- 23:59It has the same effect. Fear porn, and actually what I
- 24:02call bad cop porn, both stimulate the same part of your
- 24:06brain as regular pornography. It's the it's the it's the
- 24:11disgust sector but it but it's it's your, you know, basic
- 24:16revolt at things but it's also like your basic like addiction
- 24:19to things. It's like the center that
- 24:21controls both, right? And they're all lit up when you
- 24:24see this fucking the the the war porn, the dead baby pictures and
- 24:28stuff. Just like when you see a cop
- 24:30shooting somebody unjustly and just like when you see a girl
- 24:33getting fucked, the same thing in your brain lights up for all
- 24:37three. And they know that.
- 24:39You don't know that. They know that and they are
- 24:43happy to fucking light that part of your brain up to further
- 24:46their agenda and put money in their pocket.
- 24:49And and Tucker and Tucker Carlson.
- 24:52Had on Colonel Douglas McGregor who again I generally like, but
- 25:00but their entire conversation I didn't.
- 25:03I didn't watch very much of it, but but generally the
- 25:07conversation from what I did read Max just to save you some
- 25:11time is Tucker was like, well, what do you think will happen if
- 25:16the US if this does turn into World War 3?
- 25:19And McGregor's is like, well, this could happen or this will
- 25:24probably happen. OK, I'm sorry, but like I don't
- 25:29want could or probably like even if you're well educated on this,
- 25:34even if you can kind of war game, it's not I.
- 25:38Here's the thing. I don't want to wear a World War
- 25:41Three until World War Three is an actual well.
- 25:47But let me let me put it to you a different way.
- 25:49What he's doing there is weighing how many human lives
- 25:56American lives are acceptable to throw away.
- 26:00That's what he's doing. How many?
- 26:03How many guys? Now, I don't know.
- 26:06We do have a bit of an older audience, so this might be true.
- 26:10How many people do you personally know that are active
- 26:13duty, military or have been in the recent past?
- 26:16Ask yourself that. I I know, I know at least like 5
- 26:20or 10 personally that that I went to high school with or like
- 26:25everybody. Everybody over the age of 30 has
- 26:27at least one right that is served while while they've been
- 26:31grown up or whatever. So like, take those guys and say
- 26:37one out of every five is going to die.
- 26:42Is that and? And then they determine these
- 26:44generals and stuff. Well, that's an acceptable loss.
- 26:47Well, no, none of them are an acceptable loss to me.
- 26:49None of them are an acceptable loss to their mom and dad.
- 26:52None of them are an acceptable loss to their community, their
- 26:54brothers, their sisters, their friends.
- 26:56They're not. One is an acceptable loss.
- 27:00Not to me. Not to me either.
- 27:03The other thing too is after the and.
- 27:07I and I had brought this up even before before Max came onto the
- 27:11show. After the whole clusterfuck of
- 27:15the Afghanistan plot, which had, which happened, by the way,
- 27:20right after Biden got into office, right?
- 27:25I'm not like, I don't think people understand.
- 27:31I'm still not convinced that Biden has just shit together or
- 27:38anyone in this administration has their shit together.
- 27:41To make A to make a military operation, you know.
- 27:45Aren't you glad the grown-ups are back in charge?
- 27:48Oh, yeah. Oh yeah.
- 27:49I'm, I'm, I'm really, I'm really fucking relieved.
- 27:53Max. I don't know if you can hear the
- 27:55starting fucking wars everywhere.
- 27:57Just like, you know that's what grown-ups do, right?
- 28:00Fuck you, man. It it's like this whole fucking
- 28:03shit. Like American soldiers don't
- 28:05need to die for some foreign conflict.
- 28:08That really has nothing to do with us.
- 28:09We made that mistake in Iraq. That had nothing to fucking do
- 28:13with us. Was Saddam a good guy?
- 28:15No. He was a piece of shit.
- 28:17But it really wasn't our fucking war.
- 28:19And if you want to talk about, oh, it's related to 911.
- 28:22He hated, hated Saddam Hussein. Hated Osama bin Laden.
- 28:27He wrote letters talking about how big of a piece of shit he
- 28:30thought Osama bin Laden was. Why, you might ask?
- 28:33Because Osama bin Laden with his extremism, because you got to
- 28:37remember the Baathist party weren't the best Muslims, OK?
- 28:41They weren't like staunch fucking Muslims.
- 28:44So his in in, in Saddam's mind, this extremist, you know,
- 28:48militant Muslim is causing him problems and would eventually be
- 28:52the reason that America came to take him out.
- 28:54And guess what? He was right.
- 28:56So he didn't like fucking Osama and he had nothing to do with
- 28:59goddamn 911. And they still haven't found
- 29:01those pesky weapons of mass destruction that were so real.
- 29:05Let's just not do that again. Let's just not.
- 29:09Let's just look, the entirety of Gaza, the Gaza Strip, contained.
- 29:14Not anymore because they've evacuated, but contained about 2
- 29:17million people. Now.
- 29:20Have you listened to the Palestinian side of the
- 29:23argument? Very few of them are actually
- 29:25Hamas sympathizers as supporters.
- 29:29The stats don't back that up because they they they'll re
- 29:33elect Hamas in every election. So the majority does like Hamas.
- 29:38You could argue that they don't vote for Hamas, they might get
- 29:40killed and maybe that's the case.
- 29:42I don't fucking know. I won't pretend to know.
- 29:44What I do know is that the common narrative is it's only a
- 29:49small part of the Palestinian population that's a part of this
- 29:52that's actually actively engaged in terrorist or sympathetic to
- 29:56it. And there's 2 million people.
- 30:00That means there's probably only a couple 10,000 people that are
- 30:03actual. Hamas, Israel can handle it.
- 30:08Sorry they can. I know they can because of how
- 30:11much money we've given them without any question and if you
- 30:14question it your name. I once I once got told by
- 30:18libertarians that I was the biggest anti Semite in the world
- 30:21because I made the case that we should cut foreign aid.
- 30:24Everywhere. Libertarians, libertarians were
- 30:27telling me that that was an anti-Semitic position because
- 30:30one of those places is Israel. Oh, so it's we, you know, it's
- 30:34not racist to say don't give money to Africa.
- 30:36It's not racist to say don't give money to Malaysia, only
- 30:39Israel. Do they have a problem with?
- 30:42And I'm like, no, I think we shouldn't be giving money to
- 30:45anybody because we don't have it.
- 30:47We're broke. That's why inflation's a
- 30:50problem. See, when inflation wasn't a
- 30:52problem, it's because we did have surplus money to fucking
- 30:55throw it. Stupid fucking projects.
- 30:57But guess what? When you don't have that money
- 30:59to throw it stupid projects, all you do is further and further
- 31:02the fucking inflation rate, which has gone up again.
- 31:05I know they just sent out a thing about all the welfare
- 31:08recipients getting cost of living adjustment increases.
- 31:11I've seen a lot of it. And the the rate that they're
- 31:15citing it as is like is like 7 or 8%.
- 31:18That probably means it's like 20%.
- 31:22If you look at the COLA, If you look at the COLA adjustments
- 31:25each year for people get, the COLA adjustments are for people
- 31:28that I get Social Security medic, not Medicare or Medicaid,
- 31:31but like Social Security, disability, welfare, right.
- 31:36They get a cost of living adjustment because the fucking
- 31:38inflation rate. But whatever the government
- 31:41says, the fucking rate is that they do for that.
- 31:43And they said it. I think it was 7.2 in the I saw
- 31:46somebody screen capped it on Facebook randomly 7.2 that's
- 31:53what the government says the inflation rate is.
- 31:55Officially. It's probably three times that
- 31:58for sure. So even even they know we don't
- 32:01have fucking money. But there was Joe Biden
- 32:04specifically said he's going to send $100 million, a $100
- 32:07million to fucking Palestine, the Palestine, and then and then
- 32:13a billion dollars to fucking Israel.
- 32:15Why are we going to find fund both sides of this fucking war?
- 32:19What purpose does that serve except to make Raytheon richer?
- 32:24They're already rich as fuck. Exactly.
- 32:27More tip. Buy defense fucking stocks.
- 32:31Buy defense contractor stocks. If you're a stock guy, buy them
- 32:34now. You're already getting ripped
- 32:36off if you buy in now, but they're going to go up as this
- 32:39fucking shit hypes up and then sell when they peek out.
- 32:42Because when they're no World War 3 happens, they're going to
- 32:44drop right the fuck back down. Oh Oh yeah.
- 32:49This is not by the way, this is just my take.
- 32:55Well, Morpheus says. That's a lot of the reason why
- 33:00I'm against the US being the word police.
- 33:03We have fucking problems here. Yeah.
- 33:06Yeah, exactly. You know, we start hearing and
- 33:10done bits about how hard it was for you to get a fucking
- 33:12replacement wheelchair. Like, do we need to open up 3
- 33:16theaters of War? What the fuck?
- 33:20Yeah. Well and, well, not and like and
- 33:22like I said, I mean here here's the thing if if Trump were, if
- 33:27Trump were still in office, a this wouldn't be.
- 33:32By the way, I I Do you want to talk about an expert in the
- 33:36Middle East? I actually did listen to Jared
- 33:41Kushner's interview with Alex Friedman.
- 33:44It is worth listening to if you get the opportunity.
- 33:49It's three hours, but at least the first hour for sure is worth
- 33:57listening to. Trump.
- 33:59What? Welcome.
- 34:00I hate him, even though even the liberals are.
- 34:02Even the more moderate liberals are starting to.
- 34:06Big knows now. When it came to military shit,
- 34:08Trump knew what he their only hope at this point, their only
- 34:12hope, the Democrats for 2024, is to literally put him in jail and
- 34:16take him off the ballot. They have no other hope.
- 34:19He's going to win. And if they do that, no one's
- 34:24going to trust the election system ever again.
- 34:26It's already on shaky ground, which yes, they are.
- 34:29They are rightly concerned about that.
- 34:32But they're not concerned enough to stop the bullshit
- 34:34interference in the election that they're engaged in, right?
- 34:37They're concerned that people aren't going to believe in
- 34:40democracy or whatever anymore, but they're not concerned enough
- 34:43to stop smashing it. Yeah, when it whenever they say
- 34:49they're concerned about democracy, I.
- 34:55I really that like OK, so this is another thing that Itana
- 34:59brought up in her that she did bring up and this part got cut
- 35:05out kind of in the interview. But she did bring up a good
- 35:08point, which is that the the the American left here is really
- 35:15concerned about anti-Semitism when it comes to like, Oh yeah,
- 35:21Oh yeah, they they cared a lot about racism until the fucking
- 35:25Israel thing kicked off. And then they all of a sudden
- 35:27put on fucking swastika uniforms.
- 35:31Yeah. Well, well, exactly.
- 35:33All of a sudden they hate Jews. But if you paid attention,
- 35:37that's not new. It's been there under the
- 35:40surface for a very long time. No it's it's not it's not new at
- 35:44all I I've known this Mac Max knows this like I guess the one
- 35:48good thing is like now like more like this is the other thing is
- 35:55like I I do kind of get a little surprised because like more
- 35:59normie people I guess have realized it Like I've I've
- 36:03literally gotten some some texts that are like wow I had no idea
- 36:07that like that like the. Like the left was actually, you
- 36:11know, like anti semi. And I'm like here I am being
- 36:17like you didn't know that. Like I've known that for the
- 36:20past like 10 years. You know it's it's kind of like
- 36:26they've had a troubled relationship with this for a
- 36:28very long time. For example, you know
- 36:32conspiracies aside that there's a whole bunch regarding it on
- 36:37the record. The official story of Robert
- 36:40Kennedy's assassination, it was by Sirhan Sirhan who wrote a
- 36:45letter explaining his actions that said that it was for the
- 36:49the Palestinian Liberation Organization, the PLO.
- 36:53So this is this has been a problem with the the anti Israel
- 36:57left has been a thorn in the side of the mainstream left.
- 37:03But for the longest time the mainstream left had kind of been
- 37:06reining in their their extremists to some degree until
- 37:10the last like 3 elections. All of a sudden extremists run
- 37:14the party so now there's nobody stopping this.
- 37:17It used to be a dirty little secret that yes, some groups on
- 37:21the left, not only don't you know, not only hate Israel to
- 37:24this extent, but will literally murder a presidential candidate,
- 37:29the brother of the president, over it, right?
- 37:33They don't want you to know that.
- 37:35That's part of the left. Just like they don't want to
- 37:36talk about the Weather Underground.
- 37:39Obama was a fucking part of that.
- 37:42That's your group. Like it or not, the Weather
- 37:44Underground is a fucking terror group.
- 37:46They bombed people. I've.
- 37:49I've known that since I was like. 1314 and everyone, most
- 37:54people don't see us in mainstream media.
- 37:56Like if you're if you're the rare duck that listens to like
- 37:59Rush as a kid, you know you might know some of this shit.
- 38:03But like the average person, especially in my age, they they
- 38:05got their news on the world from Jon Stewart for like 10 years.
- 38:09Right. So they got that sparky center
- 38:13left take on everything right? It is.
- 38:17It is why a lot of them are on the left now.
- 38:21Well it it is kind of it is kind of like crazy though to like I I
- 38:25don't know if you so there's this comedian named Michael like
- 38:32Rappaport who's who like is peak Trump derangement syndrome like
- 38:38he he poses peak cringe. To be fair, he was like before
- 38:42Trump. He was pretty cringe.
- 38:44He yeah, he's always been pink. He did a, He did a.
- 38:48He did a a I'm not even joking you.
- 38:50He did a diss rap about Ashton Kutcher.
- 38:54This is real. You can look that up.
- 38:56Mike Rapaport diss rap. Ashton Kutcher.
- 38:59It's from like 2008 and it's the worst fucking music video you'll
- 39:02ever see in your life. Go ahead.
- 39:04I just had to throw that out there.
- 39:05No he this this week, though I almost sent A-Team actor.
- 39:10I couldn't believe what I was. And seeing like he he did, he
- 39:15did this video that that like talk like how how like bad
- 39:21Hamas, like everything I've been like everything I've been saying
- 39:27for like the past like decade about Hamas and just radical
- 39:30Islam in general. He literally just said in this
- 39:35video, like, I don't know, two or three days ago.
- 39:40And so the that's the interesting thing, isn't it,
- 39:44that the Jews who are on the left have been kind of just left
- 39:48hanging by the rest of the left? Well, like, I hate to say this,
- 39:54like, I'm not saying that he's Red Pill.
- 39:56I'm not saying that he's like all of a sudden red pill.
- 39:58But I will say this like if if this is what Red Pill, if this
- 40:03is what finally like Red pills? More Jews to like Trump, I
- 40:09guess. Away from the left that actively
- 40:15hates them. And now they're finally seeing
- 40:17it right in their faces, like in New York.
- 40:21Like yeah, like like yeah sure we can we can all agree that
- 40:27like the five that like the .5 like percent of like neo Nazis
- 40:32here in the country are like are bad.
- 40:34Like, yeah, but like, now there's actual anti-Semitism is
- 40:38like. Blatant, right?
- 40:41I read an article just today. A guy in LA, you know, I'm a
- 40:46meth head of some variety. Drug drug.
- 40:48Oh right. But he fucking broke into some
- 40:51Jewish family's house and he was waving a knife around saying he
- 40:54was going to kill them because they're Israeli, which they
- 40:56aren't. You know they aren't.
- 40:59They're just fucking some Jews that live outside fucking LA,
- 41:03you know, in a middle class neighborhood.
- 41:06I hate to laugh, 'cause it's not funny, right?
- 41:09It's not funny. These people are terrorized.
- 41:13But but it is what it is. I mean, I have to, I have to
- 41:17point out, 'cause it does seem like you, you and some fans here
- 41:20of the AEW channel, Did you, did you notice their blatant
- 41:24anti-Semitic storyline? Yeah, yeah, can't say that was a
- 41:32bad look, bro. For those that are unaware,
- 41:36they're champion on all elite wrestling, which is this small
- 41:40competitor to WWE. It's like TNA Impact used to be,
- 41:46they have like 700,000 people that watch their Pro.
- 41:48Actually, TNA Impact used to get over a million.
- 41:51So it's smaller than TI know that AW fans like to be like,
- 41:54it's like WC. No, it's smaller than TNA
- 41:57Impact. At its peak, actually,
- 41:59regardless the people that like that thing, that's the kind of
- 42:02thing they like and they watch it.
- 42:04Their champion is named Maxwell Jacob Friedman, a Jewish guy
- 42:08from Long Island and he tells stories about being a Jew.
- 42:11And one of the stories he's told on multiple occasions is that in
- 42:15high school a lot of the bigger football players would throw
- 42:19quarters at him and say pick him up Jew boy.
- 42:22This is a story he's told on the air as like his evil because
- 42:26he's a he's he was a heel. I guess he's a baby face now.
- 42:28Whatever bad guy, good guy, whatever.
- 42:30He was a bad guy and so that was his evil origin story.
- 42:34Like the world was picking on me and anti-Semitic and so now I'm
- 42:37an asshole. Flash forward to last two weeks
- 42:41ago. Sorry.
- 42:42Two weeks ago, an opponent for his title of whose name I am
- 42:47unaware. Apparently he was some Japanese
- 42:51Dressler. He looked like a white guy to
- 42:52me. But whatever comes out with A
- 42:55roll of quarters and written on, Knock Maxwell out with the
- 43:01quarters. Right in quarters is the name
- 43:07Friedman, which is like bro, you might as well.
- 43:13Have written Jew boy on it, you fucking idiots, how they put
- 43:17this out on the air the same week all this Israel's whatever
- 43:21you think about it, whatever you think about it, they had to know
- 43:24somebody was going to get pissed off about this.
- 43:27There's no way they didn't know. The thing about tell Miss Vince
- 43:32McMahon saying the N word not going to lie.
- 43:36Yeah, no. Well, the thing out, the thing
- 43:39out like AW is. Like I really.
- 43:44You want to like speed, I know. I I Well, the thing it is, is
- 43:50like from a from a mark as a guy who studied marketing in college
- 43:54I really can't defend them these days much because they've made
- 43:59so many like bad. Just like, even if you're not a
- 44:02wrestling fan like, But this one transcended wrestling for a
- 44:06moment. No, no.
- 44:07Yeah. No, that's when they go, man.
- 44:10So that's they got they got articles written in like New
- 44:13York Magazine and all these fucking publications like what
- 44:16the fuck AW that. That's that's what I'm saying is
- 44:20like is just from like a sheer marketing perspective like
- 44:24they've made they've made so many fuck ups because Tony Khan
- 44:28Khan is like is horrible at marketing.
- 44:31If I were to take a guess as to what happened, WWE has a lot of
- 44:36Jews in their higher ups, OK? So they would have never put a
- 44:39storyline like that on there. And in fact a fun story.
- 44:43One time it was pitched to Vince McMahon to have a certain
- 44:47wrestler who was like big and German and blonde is
- 44:50Heidenreich. I believe his name was.
- 44:53It was pitched in a meeting to Vince.
- 44:55We should have him come back as a Frozen Nazi and then and then
- 45:02have Paul Heyman manage him. Paul Heyman is very fucking
- 45:05Jewish if. You didn't.
- 45:06Oh, that, that. Well, that.
- 45:08That just sounds Jewish. Paul Heyman Yeah yeah, so Paul
- 45:13Heyman managing a frozen in time Nazi was this was this guy's
- 45:17pitch and apparently Vince McMahon stood up, didn't say a
- 45:21word, left the meeting and then called that guy later that night
- 45:24to say he was fired. So no, this wouldn't have made
- 45:28it on WWE television because somebody would have been like,
- 45:32bro, no, we can't do that. But AAW, there's nobody to tell
- 45:37this. Tony Kahn is the guy running the
- 45:39whole thing. There's nobody telling him no
- 45:42for anything. And I've I've, I've made a lot
- 45:46of poignant comments about them cutting on on camera, like they
- 45:49actually cut their face right where you can see it.
- 45:51That's like a huge turn off to me.
- 45:54And wrestling like that's like, hey, look at us, we're fake.
- 45:57We're fake guys. We're real fake.
- 45:59That's not fun to watch. For me, that is a minor concern.
- 46:02That's a wrestling fan concern. OK, they've had.
- 46:07They fired CM Punk because of a backstage fight.
- 46:09He's probably one of the most over guys in the wrestling
- 46:12industry ever. Sure, whatever.
- 46:14That's a wrestling thing. The anti-Semitic storyline,
- 46:19wrestling fans are going to be the least, you know, upset about
- 46:22it. They're actually not going to
- 46:23care. They're used to edgy storylines
- 46:25of some description, but yeah, getting all that bad press about
- 46:30it and then I guess they this week what they did is they had
- 46:33MJF go to a conference on anti-Semitism.
- 46:38I feel like it would have probably been smarter to send
- 46:41the guy that did the thing, you know what I mean?
- 46:44MJF probably knows about it being a Jewish guy.
- 46:48Yeah. And so they were just trying to
- 46:50promote this conference or whatever, I don't know.
- 46:53This this whole thing feels like a feels like a feels like a
- 46:57curbed. Your enthusiasm.
- 46:58Yeah. Skit.
- 47:00Like they keep trying to fix it and making it worse.
- 47:03Yeah. Like, yeah.
- 47:05Yeah, it's it's it's totally curbed.
- 47:07Yeah, so. And then and then if they come
- 47:11out and, like, apologize and say, oh, we didn't mean to
- 47:14offend the Jewish people, then they're going to have a bunch of
- 47:15people like oh. What about the post dance?
- 47:19It's a no win situation. Why would you jump into that
- 47:22mess at all with your stupid wrestler wrestle show you know
- 47:26well? And if you ever ask yourself,
- 47:30well, you know, where could I look to some inspiration for if
- 47:33I should do this kind of thing or not?
- 47:35Ask yourself this. Has the crazy motherfucker known
- 47:38as Vince McMahon allowed that on his television 'cause he's
- 47:41allowed necrophilia, racism, Fucking he's allowed a lot of
- 47:45fucking shit. So if it wouldn't be allowed on
- 47:47his television, you shouldn't put it on television.
- 47:50He threw a guy in a wheelchair down a flight of fucking stairs
- 47:55and that was hilarious. That that one legged guy.
- 47:59Yeah, that was that was that was hilarious and and very much
- 48:04allowed by the way. But yeah, like, that's my point.
- 48:09Is he allowed that and a bunch of other shit.
- 48:12But the Yeah, but the when you know Roddy Piper and blackface
- 48:17fucking Vince said the N word in front of Booker T like you
- 48:21literal necrophilia Triple H dressed up as Kane fucking a
- 48:25puppet that's supposed to be a dead body.
- 48:26This has happened on WWE television.
- 48:29Midian once fucked the Thanksgiving Turkey that
- 48:31everybody ate. This happened on WWE television,
- 48:35so if WWE wouldn't air the thing, probably a bad idea.
- 48:41Tony Khan, I know he listens to this show, so he's definitely
- 48:44going to get this message. Well, I mean we we probably get
- 48:49more views than AW does at this point.
- 48:53Oh my God, they brought They brought Edge from WWE huge star
- 48:57who had been retired for seven years and then came back and
- 49:00they couldn't even crack fucking 600,000 viewers.
- 49:04Yeah, Oof, oof. That's because on the other
- 49:08channel they had John Cena and the Undertaker.
- 49:12It's hard to compete. You don't have names, and
- 49:15getting getting attention by edgy storylines is a dangerous
- 49:20game because if you get away with it, maybe you get a hot
- 49:23angle out of it. And if you don't, then you have
- 49:25the ADL saying you need to censor your television or
- 49:28whatever speaking. Of.
- 49:32Speaking of you know, shit that backfired on went sideways.
- 49:36This doesn't necessarily have to do with wrestling, but thank
- 49:39God. Did you got Did you so OK, so
- 49:45Spider Man for the I was you want to ask you how you liked
- 49:49Gay Spider Man 2? OK, so I actually have AI
- 49:54actually have a video. Coming out on it.
- 49:57That will probably be at this point coming out on Friday.
- 50:00I was going to try and release it today, but I just got busy
- 50:04with they went all in on some gay content and it was funny
- 50:09because if you if you play the Middle Eastern copy, it's all
- 50:12not there. That, that that's that's exactly
- 50:15what I that that's exactly what I was going to comment on not
- 50:19just that but like. Well, yeah, that's the that's
- 50:24the version that I think everybody wants.
- 50:27That's. Like the?
- 50:28Whole not. Drill.
- 50:29Not just not just that, but now that's OK.
- 50:34By the time it comes to PC when I can play it, there'll be a mod
- 50:38that fixes it. But it won't be on Nexus Mods.
- 50:43But fuck Nexus Mods. But now the the the Latin.
- 50:48The Latin community is pissed off, too.
- 50:52Especially here in Florida, like I have, I actually have Latino
- 50:56friends who texted me and we're like, bro, what the fuck is this
- 51:03Latin X shit? Because because they're they're
- 51:09they're trying to push that now. And I was saying this like, no.
- 51:14See, it's pronounced Latinx, which makes it even worse.
- 51:19I guess if it wasn't bad enough, it's Latinx.
- 51:23That's how you're supposed to say it.
- 51:26That sounds a lot less than Latino, by the way.
- 51:29And by the way, women will even say let their Latino in some
- 51:34cases because just because the language itself is gendered
- 51:38doesn't mean that they are always going to use the
- 51:40appropriate gender at all times to refer to themselves or a
- 51:44physical object. I don't know.
- 51:46People who don't understand that there's gendered language in
- 51:49other languages just don't understand any other languages
- 51:52and should probably just shut the fuck up.
- 51:55No. What?
- 51:56What's? What's Because Because in
- 51:58Spanish the store has a gender, the road has a gender, the car
- 52:06has a gender. You're God.
- 52:11So even if you put the X, even if you did latinx, it doesn't
- 52:15matter because the language itself still.
- 52:18Oh or ah for fucking everything. Trying to explain this gender
- 52:25neutral language to my Cuban neighbor is the most hilarious
- 52:32thing I feel. I feel bad for I nobody who in
- 52:36Spanish as their first language will ever understand it.
- 52:39The only people who fucking do it are people that they were
- 52:42raised in America. English is their first language.
- 52:45And I I and I and I feel bad because like my neighbor was
- 52:49like my neighbor who is from Cuba.
- 52:52Like he he he speaks English pretty well but like Spanish is
- 52:56still his first like language. He he was he was like OK so like
- 53:01help me to understand help me to understand.
- 53:05And I just told him at one point.
- 53:06I'm like. And I'm like, I I can't because
- 53:10it's like, I don't, I think it's stupid too.
- 53:13Yeah. And then they're like, oh, oh,
- 53:16people are normal. Yeah, I got, I got like
- 53:20neighbors that they say the same kind of shit.
- 53:22They're like, I don't get any of this shit.
- 53:25And when I say, yeah, me either, man, they're like, OK, good,
- 53:28yeah. Well, well.
- 53:30Well so it's it's so not only not only and again like I'm
- 53:34trying I'll I'll get into spoilers to stuff in the video.
- 53:38But another thing that they've done is so like Max, I'll give
- 53:42you credit on two things is like I I am a fan of Miles Morales in
- 53:48the same way that you are because when they don't
- 53:51tokenize, oh, did they tokenize miles?
- 53:55Yep, they I knew it. I knew it, but did they jokanize
- 54:00him as black or Hispanic 'cause? He's well, they did both.
- 54:05But like here's the other thing too is like OK, so Miles like is
- 54:10like Puerto Rican and so in the first game they have like in the
- 54:16first game and in the Miles Morales game they have the
- 54:20Puerto Rican flag. But they virtue signaled so, so
- 54:26hard in in this one. Someone forgot their flags, and
- 54:31so they gave. They gave him the They gave him
- 54:34the Cuban flag. They gave him the Cuban flag in
- 54:38his apartment. He's from New York, not Miami.
- 54:43What the fuck? How do you not know?
- 54:46A fucking Hispanic from fucking New York is more likely Puerto
- 54:50Rican than anything else. Because these because these
- 54:55fuckers that make the game are all from fucking California.
- 54:59They also like you don't have just just just for, you know,
- 55:03anybody that's not on the East. Coast and it's it's literally
- 55:06the East Coast. We have two kinds of Latinos
- 55:08here. Only two.
- 55:10OK, there's more coming in because they're spreading all
- 55:13out over the country. But for my entire life, it's
- 55:16been the case that we have Puerto Ricans.
- 55:20And if you go far enough South Cubans, that's the East Coast.
- 55:25We don't really have Guatemalans.
- 55:27We don't have Haitian, like those are the two kind.
- 55:31And we certainly don't have Mexicans, cause Mexicans don't
- 55:34need to come nearly this far to find fucking work when they come
- 55:37into the country. So yeah, if they're from the
- 55:41East Coast, I guess they that's what they thought.
- 55:43They're West Coast people and they're like, well, he's a East
- 55:46Coast Latino. Let's give him the Cuban flag.
- 55:48It's like, bitch, he's Puerto Rican.
- 55:49He's always been Puerto Rican. He's from New York City.
- 55:53His dad's black, but his dad's also a cop.
- 55:56His only connection to like to, like, street culture is his
- 56:00uncle, who gets killed much in an Uncle Ben type scenario.
- 56:04Oh. Oh yeah.
- 56:06And and by and by the way, they they they like, they somehow,
- 56:10like, brought Aaron. They somehow brought Uncle Aaron
- 56:13back from the dead and like never explained.
- 56:16Like, like, like literally, they don't.
- 56:20I, I, when I went, went back to like the Miles Morales game to
- 56:23like see if if they like explained it like Nope, he just
- 56:27survived somehow and like yeah, that that's a that's a thing.
- 56:34Now I explained something though.
- 56:35I was at the store the other day and I was wearing, I got a Venom
- 56:40shirt, right? And I was, I wasn't thinking
- 56:42much of it. And the guy at the cashier said,
- 56:44oh, have you played Spider Man 2 yet?
- 56:46And I was like, Oh no, we got an Xbox.
- 56:48I'll play it on PC in a couple years.
- 56:50And he's like, oh, you probably won't want to.
- 56:54And I looked at him and I was like, well, Spider Man was a
- 56:56good game. And then I went home and I was
- 56:58like, I know it's full of gay shit.
- 57:01That's got to be it. Look the I will say this like
- 57:07the main story. So like the main story campaign
- 57:10is like. So here's the hilarious thing.
- 57:13Hold on, I I need to hear an as fucking a pronoun style rant
- 57:18about it, though, because if there's anything a little bit
- 57:21woke in it, you can't defend it, right?
- 57:25Well, the. In pronouns.
- 57:29The only thing that I even like would even notice in Starfield?
- 57:33Spider Man's like here. Here's all the trans flags and
- 57:37everybody's going to give it a pass.
- 57:38Because Sony. So I see how it is.
- 57:42So here's OK Can can we just go into Can we just go into spoiler
- 57:47territory at this point? If you Yeah, you're going to
- 57:50play the game. If you if you haven't played the
- 57:52game. If you if you don't play the
- 57:54game yet and you want to click off at this point, just know it
- 58:00all. Gay shit.
- 58:01And if you and if you don't fucking care, you know, stay
- 58:05tuned. But but Long story short, so the
- 58:09game is hilarious because it's woke.
- 58:11But yet also like, not awoke too, because they do stuff that
- 58:16contradicts itself. So essentially at the end of
- 58:21Spider Man 1 it's revealed and kind of like a post credits
- 58:26scene that like that Harry Osborne has been like stuck in
- 58:30Norman Osborne's like House Lab for like a couple of years and
- 58:35he and literally like like. Norman and I think this is
- 58:40pretty much like Canon the in the comics, right Like the
- 58:43Osbournes, like suffer from like ALS or like something like that
- 58:48and so long shorts were like Norman like finds a symbiote and
- 58:56basically like sticks his sticks hair like in a tank in like.
- 59:03The the symbio like basically cures him of like cancer or like
- 59:08keeps in remission or some shit like that.
- 59:11So the game starts off with like Harry's all of the sudden like
- 59:16back like his cancer's in remission and he's feeling
- 59:19great. He's like got some like device
- 59:23that like keeps the symbio in check.
- 59:28At one point, like Craven comes to town and basically like.
- 59:32Kills Peter and the symbiote like chooses Peter and like
- 59:37revives Peter and that's how Peter gets the black suit.
- 59:43There's this whole, like, there's this whole plot within
- 59:47the story that like basically like like Harry's kind of like a
- 59:52green New Deal deals type of guy and he and Peter start like this
- 59:57Green Movement organization. To like heal the plant and what
- 1:00:04not. The thing that is though is like
- 1:00:06eventually Peter gets rid of the black suit because it like rubs
- 1:00:10him so he gets rid of the black suit with the help of Miles.
- 1:00:14The black suit goes back to hair.
- 1:00:17He become hair becomes venom. And essentially, like this is
- 1:00:22the hilarious thing is like like basically like Venom is an eco
- 1:00:32terrorist who like wants to wants to turn the entirety of
- 1:00:39the world into symbiotes to like save the planet.
- 1:00:43So that so like, in a weird way, like insomniac, like is actually
- 1:00:51saying that, like that, like radical.
- 1:00:53Like Greenism is. No, no, it's it's.
- 1:01:01Keep keep going it it's it's hilarious because it because it
- 1:01:04like contradicts itself. Like green is bad and
- 1:01:09ecoterrorism is bad because ecoterrorism equals venom.
- 1:01:14But yeah, and like in all the side missions, like, that's what
- 1:01:19really goes woke. Because like the side missions
- 1:01:25is basically like what Miles has to do.
- 1:01:27So it's all like Miles, like has to help, like his classmates ask
- 1:01:34like someone out to prop or something like that.
- 1:01:37And there's all this like gay Latinx stuff and whatnot.
- 1:01:43So yeah, that's pretty much the game in a in a nutshell,
- 1:01:50essentially. What have I been playing?
- 1:01:53Not that, I'll say that. I've been playing my wife
- 1:01:59actually on the Steam deck beat the game The Quarry, which is
- 1:02:03like a horror game. She had a lot of fun with that.
- 1:02:05Oh, oh, I heard. Yeah, I heard.
- 1:02:08That's pretty good. I played a little Metal hell
- 1:02:11singer. It is a rhythm based, metal
- 1:02:14based shooting game is a lot of fun.
- 1:02:17You got to shoot along with the beat and they have like a lot of
- 1:02:20famous metal musicians on the soundtrack and if you keep a
- 1:02:23combo going. Like the as you level up your
- 1:02:27combo, the song gets more layers and so like the top layer is the
- 1:02:31vocals. So you start out with just the
- 1:02:33drums, you know, doom, doom, doom, and then you kill a couple
- 1:02:36enemies and then it's like the drums in the bass, like.
- 1:02:39Doom. Doom.
- 1:02:39Doom. Doom.
- 1:02:40Doom. And you still got a state of the
- 1:02:41beat. It's pretty good.
- 1:02:43So it's like Guitar Hero, but with like, guns and shit,
- 1:02:47basically. Something like that, yeah.
- 1:02:50You just shoot to the beat. There's a couple games like that
- 1:02:53that I like. What the fuck is the other one?
- 1:02:57PPM Bullets Per Minute is another good rhythm based
- 1:03:00shooter. I I I want to play that game
- 1:03:05just based off the title Bullets Per Minute.
- 1:03:08Holy shit. Yeah, it's it's pretty good and
- 1:03:11it's like it's like themed with like a like Norse mythology
- 1:03:17combined with sci-fi. It's got this really weird
- 1:03:20aesthetic and the music is fucking fantastic.
- 1:03:23But yeah, Metal Helsinger is just like a fancier version of
- 1:03:26that. I've been playing V Rising,
- 1:03:30which is a a vampire game, where it's a survival game and there's
- 1:03:35bosses and you beat them up, you build a castle and at daytime,
- 1:03:39if you go in the sunlight you'll die.
- 1:03:41So you have to like hop from shadow to shadow.
- 1:03:44I I've still been playing oh Disco Elysium.
- 1:03:54Yeah, yeah. Oh, and my wife started,
- 1:03:57obviously. She finished the quarry in like
- 1:04:00a day, 'cause it's only like 8 hours long.
- 1:04:03She started a cyberpunk on the steam deck, which runs great by
- 1:04:06the way. Yeah, that's, you know, that's
- 1:04:14I'm glad, I I hope. I hope she enjoys it so.
- 1:04:18Well, she's not usually into shooter type games, but she is
- 1:04:22really into story and I was like look, you'll like it, you know,
- 1:04:28Morphe Morpheus says fucking pronouns.
- 1:04:32And then he also says I fucking love V Rising.
- 1:04:37Yeah V Rising. Is sick, yeah.
- 1:04:40It's like the one survival game that, like, I don't get bored of
- 1:04:43because there's a goal and the goal is like.
- 1:04:46Like there's a there's a tree of like bosses and you pick the
- 1:04:50next one up the tree as you get better gear and you get it shows
- 1:04:55you like a line to where they're located and then you go fight
- 1:04:58them and each boss is different and then they unlock new shit
- 1:05:01you can build at your castle to like upgrade your shit and it's
- 1:05:05this perfect loop and they're not even it's it's still early
- 1:05:08access. They're not even like done with
- 1:05:09the game yet. It's only got like half the
- 1:05:12content, but it's fucking fantastic, yeah.
- 1:05:15You know what I'm really looking forward to?
- 1:05:18I I I'd love to get a whole fucking crew for this.
- 1:05:21Lord of the Rings minds of Moria.
- 1:05:25Let me hit you with this pitch, Sam.
- 1:05:28Imagine a survival game like the Conan game they had.
- 1:05:33Ark, Survival, Rust, stuff like that.
- 1:05:36Or Valheim. I don't know if you know
- 1:05:38Valheim. Yep.
- 1:05:40Haven't haven't played in Ryan in a while, but yeah.
- 1:05:43Imagine imagine one of those games, but it's set in the minds
- 1:05:49of Maurya, in in Lord of the Rings, and you're the dwarves
- 1:05:53taking back their homeland and so you're building your dwarven
- 1:05:57underground bunker. But it's a survival game.
- 1:06:03Dwarf survival. I'm sold 100%.
- 1:06:08There's not enough Dwarf games, in fact.
- 1:06:12There are. My brothers, there aren't
- 1:06:14enough. There aren't enough dwarves in
- 1:06:16media in general, especially since Peter Dinklage now says
- 1:06:20that like it's able as to cast dwarves.
- 1:06:24Yeah, but that hasn't affected video games cause like they're
- 1:06:27still Deep Rock Galactic which is like space mining dwarves
- 1:06:31which. Is like.
- 1:06:32Dwarf Fortress has been more popular than fucking ever, and
- 1:06:36so the idea of making a survival game where you're a bunch of
- 1:06:38dwarves building an underground dwarven fucking city.
- 1:06:43Baller, I'm down. I'm getting that.
- 1:06:46Nobody's. Talking.
- 1:06:47About it. Everybody's talking about all
- 1:06:48the big AAA titles. That's my shit right there.
- 1:06:52And I've watched enough video of a pre release now.
- 1:06:56It's basically like a simple Dark Souls combat and building
- 1:07:01big dwarf structures and mining. Yeah, I I don't know if I'll get
- 1:07:07it in on pre-order, but I I did watch more footage of the of of
- 1:07:12RoboCop and that and that does look really, really good.
- 1:07:21They only put the demo out on the Steam Necks Fest on Steam,
- 1:07:25but I'm pretty sure that they are coming with a demo to
- 1:07:28consoles very soon. I just recommend play it,
- 1:07:31because watch that game in particular is one of those games
- 1:07:34that it. It doesn't do it justice to just
- 1:07:37watch, because I was walking through that first level of
- 1:07:41RoboCop all slow like RoboCop Walks.
- 1:07:44By the way, I found that there is a Sprint button, but like,
- 1:07:48you're RoboCop who's going to use the fucking Sprint button,
- 1:07:51right? You're going to go and just
- 1:07:53blasting motherfuckers that they should feel so goddamn visceral.
- 1:07:59It's one of I I think the closest I can say is the feeling
- 1:08:02I got playing Soldier of Fortune, the Original 1, back in
- 1:08:06like 2000, where it's like, holy shit, those bullets hit a
- 1:08:12motherfucker, yeah. It's not like a red mist blood
- 1:08:18spray, but it's also their head. You're going kaboom and then you
- 1:08:21can find brains. If you if you go looking around
- 1:08:24the room, you can find brain stuck to the walls and shit.
- 1:08:26It's fucking. It's pretty metal.
- 1:08:29It's it's about as violent and crazy as a RoboCop game should
- 1:08:33be. That that's that's awesome.
- 1:08:39It cuts off when you get to the more role-playing gamey parts of
- 1:08:42the demo, so I can't say how good that really is, but that
- 1:08:46first level it puts you through felt like fucking RoboCop to me.
- 1:08:51That that's what that's what we're like about.
- 1:08:54RoboCop one, to be specific. That's what.
- 1:08:57That's what really matters. Supposedly they're making or no,
- 1:09:03they actually are making a Blade Runner game now.
- 1:09:08An indie studio is. That's.
- 1:09:10A tall order considering the last Blade Runner game, which
- 1:09:14you can now get on GOG. For a while it was lost, but
- 1:09:18it's one of the best games ever made.
- 1:09:20Yeah, I know. I've I've watched, I've watched
- 1:09:22videos of it. Supposedly, supposedly, this is
- 1:09:26going to be more like this is going to be more like cyberpunk.
- 1:09:33An action RPG and Blade Runner I'm kind of all set with.
- 1:09:36It just sounds like a cyberpunk is popular, so let's let's do
- 1:09:40something similar. Well, it.
- 1:09:43Should be good, but I'm going to hold my hopes to very low.
- 1:09:47Yeah, I. Mean I'm too plumped with
- 1:09:52fucking games coming out. I also was playing.
- 1:09:56Like a dragon Inchin, which is like the Yakuza games.
- 1:10:01But yeah, place in the fucking samurai period is pretty fun.
- 1:10:05I'm still meaning to finish the Quake to remaster and then do
- 1:10:08the extra fucking campaign they added on to it Like Forza just
- 1:10:12came out. I haven't even had a chance to
- 1:10:15play Forza at all yet. Would you?
- 1:10:20Would you play a I I did read that some indie game developer I
- 1:10:26guess got the rights for like a Dirty Harry game.
- 1:10:30I I as much as I love that movie and as much as I love Clint
- 1:10:34Eastwood, I'm not sure if I would play it.
- 1:10:37It just seems like it. It would be a cash grab as long
- 1:10:40as the the. I mean, the John Wick game, I
- 1:10:44don't know if you've played that.
- 1:10:46Yeah, is basically a puzzle game.
- 1:10:51So I mean. It depends.
- 1:10:54Like any license or whatever, I don't really care.
- 1:10:56Like, licenses don't get me anymore because like, I'm an
- 1:10:59indie game guy and some of the best indie games are completely
- 1:11:03original. Dave the Diver is just Dave the
- 1:11:06Diver. And if you haven't played that
- 1:11:08game, play that fucking game. It's fantastic.
- 1:11:11Didn't need to be part of a franchise for me to like it.
- 1:11:14If your game's good, it's good, you know?
- 1:11:16Yeah, that that's how. Well, that's that's how I feel
- 1:11:19like. I do feel like if they wanted to
- 1:11:22make a, if they wanted to make a gritty detective game like set
- 1:11:26in the 70s, they could do that and just create their own
- 1:11:29characters. Now they don't necessarily need
- 1:11:32like the The Dirty Harry well. Like in film, you can look at it
- 1:11:36like this is like the Joker was heavily inspired by Taxi Driver,
- 1:11:40but it's not the same film. Well, right.
- 1:11:44And it's not the same characters and really it's only
- 1:11:47tangentially even related to the the DC Joker.
- 1:11:52You can get something completely unique and different and I think
- 1:11:55that's the only thing people that's the only way you're going
- 1:11:58to stand out anymore. A lot of a lot of indie studios
- 1:12:01are are pulling some heavyweight lately with with I was playing
- 1:12:05another one, it's not indie, it's like AA, but if you're a
- 1:12:08Warhammer guy, fucking Chaos Gate, Demon Hunters.
- 1:12:13Are you playing the Gray Knights, hunting down fucking
- 1:12:15demons? It's fucking great.
- 1:12:17It's like an X com style game. There's just too much.
- 1:12:21I can't, I can't keep up with these AAA games cause half of
- 1:12:26them are shit. I still haven't finished
- 1:12:28Starfield. I don't, I don't really think
- 1:12:30I'm gonna. It's just it it it there's a lot
- 1:12:35of in in big games, there's a lot of like grinding to pad out
- 1:12:40the time that you're playing the game.
- 1:12:43Yeah, well, that that's that's one of the things is like
- 1:12:49they're kind of like 2, so they're kind of two sides to,
- 1:12:55you know, getting there. There are those gamers that
- 1:12:58complain that games aren't long enough or the games are too
- 1:13:04long, right? Both sides hate.
- 1:13:07Both sides hate padding. When you're just like perfect
- 1:13:13example Lord of the Rings, Shadow of War, the second of the
- 1:13:19Shadow of Mordor games, when you get to the final act, it's just
- 1:13:24like, hey, do the same thing you've been doing.
- 1:13:27Procedurally generated, controlling keeps attacking orcs
- 1:13:31for like another 10 hours and then you get to the final fight
- 1:13:35for no other reason than just to add 10 hours to the game.
- 1:13:39Honestly, that's why. That's why I never finished like
- 1:13:42Hogwarts Legacy is because like, yeah, the the the game, the game
- 1:13:49was fun in the beginning and like it it.
- 1:13:52The thing with Hogwarts legacy is that game was fun because
- 1:13:55like you know, the Troons were like upset about it.
- 1:13:58So you know. Like, I think for Harry Potter
- 1:14:02fans, it's a game that they've wanted for a long time, so they
- 1:14:05just don't care, you know? But if you're not, it seems like
- 1:14:09it could be a fun game. But yeah, I have heard a
- 1:14:12complaint about at some point you start having to do tedious
- 1:14:16tasks and it's just like Starfield does that fucking most
- 1:14:21of these. Triple cyberpunk does this to
- 1:14:23some extent, yeah. I mean, yes, cyberpunk does.
- 1:14:31I I would. I would argue though that like
- 1:14:34Cyberpunk's main campaign is actually relatively short.
- 1:14:38In fact, like almost like one of the clients.
- 1:14:42They want you not even heading out to all the side quests, they
- 1:14:45want you heading out to the collectibles and every other
- 1:14:48thing that they all do. This padding shit completely
- 1:14:52unnecessary and people just skip it.
- 1:14:55I guess it's there for people who like it, but the problem has
- 1:14:58become that they're more making it mandatory now.
- 1:15:01Right your your point. You can just play the main
- 1:15:03campaign of Cyberpunk and ignore all the fucking side content.
- 1:15:06And it's probably only like 12 hours long, right?
- 1:15:09Yeah. But the fact of the matter is,
- 1:15:12is they put all sorts of dev time into all that other fucking
- 1:15:15shit. You know what I mean?
- 1:15:17And it's there. And some of it's better than
- 1:15:20others, You know. Side quests are generally a step
- 1:15:22above all the romance options that aren't Pan Am are bad.
- 1:15:30Right. Or if they're not Pan Am.
- 1:15:33It's bad. Judy would be fine, except you
- 1:15:35have to be a lesbian with her. You can't.
- 1:15:39Dude, like hitting on me randomly when I was just being
- 1:15:43his bro was a bit jarring. Yeah, yeah 'cause I did nothing
- 1:15:51to make him like I I couldn't even understand if the dude's
- 1:15:54gay. But I did nothing that would
- 1:15:55have made him think that I was into him.
- 1:15:57I just helped him find his like. Nephew or whatever, yeah.
- 1:16:02Like, hey, want to make out and I'm like you fuck you.
- 1:16:08And then there's the training that you can romance.
- 1:16:10I actually made the training feel really bad, 'cause if
- 1:16:14anybody hasn't played the story with the tranny is they're doing
- 1:16:17races and they convince you that they want to win the races
- 1:16:20'cause their ex-husband from before they were a tranny when
- 1:16:24they were both dudes died. And the other Another racer
- 1:16:28killed him. And so then the trainee says to
- 1:16:30you, we need to do this race so that we can kill him.
- 1:16:34And so I'm like, OK, so we're not going to go try and win the
- 1:16:37race. And the trainee's like, yeah,
- 1:16:38we're not going to try. So I follow the guy, we go off
- 1:16:42the racetrack, we lose the fucking race, the dude crashes,
- 1:16:46I get out the car with the fucking trainee.
- 1:16:48What does the trainee turn and say, OK, you finish him off?
- 1:16:52Nah, bitch. We're here 'cause you.
- 1:16:55Wanted to kill this guy. So fucking do it.
- 1:16:58No, I no, I I I did. I did the exact same thing, man.
- 1:17:02And. Then they hate you forever.
- 1:17:04Yeah, and I want. You.
- 1:17:07I don't know. Training or not, You could have
- 1:17:10taken the training part out of that fucking story.
- 1:17:12I would have reacted the same way.
- 1:17:14You wanted to kill this guy. Don't tell me to fucking kill
- 1:17:17this guy. He ain't done nothing to me.
- 1:17:19Yeah. No, I I.
- 1:17:25So even cyberpunk falls short on writing, in my opinion.
- 1:17:28Sometimes. Like some of it's like, oh God,
- 1:17:31well, I mean, I OK, so what's all, what's all be, what's all
- 1:17:35be honest because I get people who cope about this.
- 1:17:38The big the big draw for people for cyberpunk was that Keanu
- 1:17:44Reeves was starring in it. And and and anyone who's like
- 1:17:49no, that's not true. It wasn't for me, but I was
- 1:17:53excited before they announced that because I was a Tabor Top
- 1:17:56role-playing gamer and I played Cyberpunk and they made The
- 1:17:59Witcher. And the Witcher is also good.
- 1:18:01So I figured so. But then adding Keanu Reeves
- 1:18:04didn't hurt my opinion of the game.
- 1:18:06No, no. And and by the way I I'm a you
- 1:18:09know I'm a Keanu Reeves fan. So you know.
- 1:18:12But I am being, but I think we can also be honest and say like
- 1:18:16for most normies you know like he was kind of he was the draw
- 1:18:24to to the game for like a lot of people he did a he did he did a
- 1:18:30really good good job. But yeah, I mean, I even feel
- 1:18:33like with some of his like Johnny's side, side content was
- 1:18:39probably the most interesting of.
- 1:18:42Because he's the most interesting character in all of
- 1:18:44cyberpunk. And that's why, if you were
- 1:18:47going to get Keanu Reeves in any cyberpunk game.
- 1:18:51He's the character you have to it has to be Johnny Silver Hand,
- 1:18:55yeah. That you couldn't have made him
- 1:18:57anybody else. But the fun thing about that, I
- 1:18:59think probably for Keanu is it's the most Dick headed character
- 1:19:03he's ever played. It's also.
- 1:19:06Always plays the nice guy, you know what I mean?
- 1:19:09But Johnny Silver Hand is not a nice guy.
- 1:19:11He's an asshole, right? No, it's It's also at least as
- 1:19:16far as as far as his like, adult work goes.
- 1:19:23It's also, if I'm not mistaken, one of the one of his roles
- 1:19:27where he's like actually like had the most dialogue.
- 1:19:30Because in the Matrix, in the Matrix and in John Wick, he
- 1:19:35mostly like does mine a dialogue and then it's mostly action.
- 1:19:40But in Cyberpunk, he does tend to like talk in a moment.
- 1:19:45He's not involved in any action, realistically, except that one
- 1:19:49mission you play through. No, no, not really.
- 1:19:54Because he's in your head. He can't be you're you do all
- 1:19:57the action. So they had to have something
- 1:19:58for him. And yeah, they did a good job
- 1:20:00with it. I'm going to say though, it's as
- 1:20:04as RPG writing goes, it's it's no Kingdom Come Deliverance.
- 1:20:09It's not even close. Kingdom Come Deliverance is
- 1:20:12still the best written RPG there is, except maybe Planescape
- 1:20:15Torment. If you don't know what those
- 1:20:17are, you're missing out. It's not even Star Wars Knights.
- 1:20:21The old The Old Republic, right? You know.
- 1:20:26It's good for what it is. He nails the, you know, Johnny
- 1:20:29Silver hand role. It's fun.
- 1:20:32I I've liked the game. I think people hated the game
- 1:20:34for very little reason. I waited a year to play it
- 1:20:37though, so to be fair, yes. So I waited like a year and a
- 1:20:42half to to play it. So by the time by the time I
- 1:20:46played it, it was, it was pretty much bug fixed for the most
- 1:20:50part, yeah. I'm gonna tell you, October last
- 1:20:58year it was when I last played it based on these achievements.
- 1:21:04Yeah, and that that's also why I don't really pre-order games
- 1:21:10that much in In War Two is just because of bug fixes.
- 1:21:15Well, that and like as APC gamer, we've been trained at
- 1:21:19Steam sales. Wait for your fucking Steam
- 1:21:21sale. Now that's kind of common for
- 1:21:23console players too. I've noticed on the Xbox, and I
- 1:21:26know it's similar on PS5, that there's a lot more sales on
- 1:21:30digital games than they used to have in like the previous
- 1:21:33generations because they finally figured out that's good for
- 1:21:36business. Yeah, no, I when I when I got
- 1:21:39my. Three own games is bad for their
- 1:21:42business, right? So.
- 1:21:44For anybody that's wondering why they're leaning into digital
- 1:21:47media, it's because pre owned games are bad for their
- 1:21:50business. Yeah I know.
- 1:21:51I well I I know that you and Morpheus saw my tweet where like
- 1:21:57where the where the PlayStation Store they were selling The
- 1:22:01Witcher 3 for like 50 bucks and you know, I know, I know, even I
- 1:22:06know that that game has been out for a couple years.
- 1:22:08So I'm like I'm not the. Average price I see on the game,
- 1:22:11the Game of the Year edition on PC whenever there's a sale is
- 1:22:14like 5 bucks. That's the that's the only
- 1:22:16reason I mention it, because it's like a $5 game.
- 1:22:19Fifty. Yeah, no, 50 would be a bit
- 1:22:21much. It would.
- 1:22:22I think it was like, I think it was 25I I got it.
- 1:22:28I got on, I got on Amazon Prime from like 25 bucks used.
- 1:22:34Yeah, yeah. You got the disc version?
- 1:22:36Yeah, I actually got the disc version for Xbox as well, 'cause
- 1:22:40it's a good one to have. Although I hide the disc because
- 1:22:42there's too much sex and nudity. My kid can't play The Witcher,
- 1:22:46yeah. Violence is like, whatever, I'm
- 1:22:49not so big on the violent stuff in video game for kids.
- 1:22:52He mostly doesn't play violent games anyway.
- 1:22:54He plays Lego. Yeah, but straight up the sex
- 1:22:57scenes and the Witchers. Too much.
- 1:22:59And like there's one right away. Well, yeah.
- 1:23:03He's seven. You know what I mean?
- 1:23:06Yeah, I well, I mean, you know, you're always you're you're
- 1:23:11responsible, you know as far as parents go, I know that so.
- 1:23:17Yeah, that's the only game inappropriate game on Xbox I
- 1:23:21even own. I don't buy games I consider
- 1:23:24inappropriate, but I was like, I kind of want to have Witcher 3
- 1:23:28and 4K. Yeah.
- 1:23:30I don't. I don't.
- 1:23:32Yeah, I don't. I don't blame you for that.
- 1:23:35So. Yeah, video games.
- 1:23:39Far more interesting than the Israel Palestine conflict.
- 1:23:43Oh Oh yeah, that that is, that is the that is, that is.
- 1:23:45The other thing is over the, you know, so over the weekend I was
- 1:23:49basically just like, you know, I was hardcore gaming and people
- 1:23:54and people were like, how can you game and watch movies at a
- 1:23:59time like this? And I'm just like and and when
- 1:24:03I'm and like when I'm doing it dramatically, like that's how I
- 1:24:07pictured, that's how I pictured people like saying it and I'm
- 1:24:12just like because. Because it's always a time like
- 1:24:15this to somebody. Exactly.
- 1:24:18And because that's always what I've done.
- 1:24:21I always in. I always watch movies on Friday
- 1:24:25night. I'm not, I'm not going to, I'm
- 1:24:27not going to sit and cower in my bedroom because World War Three
- 1:24:32might be on the horizon. Well.
- 1:24:34And you still like if you're if you're, This is why these
- 1:24:37Internet guys with no other life, they're like that.
- 1:24:39But if you have a real life, like you're out there at your
- 1:24:42fucking job, you're taking care of your kids.
- 1:24:45You're fucking taking care of your health, right?
- 1:24:48Who has enough time in the day to sit there and fret about
- 1:24:52everything? I don't know.
- 1:24:53It's certainly no one. I know it's.
- 1:24:56Sorry online behavior. It's yeah.
- 1:24:59It's not even, it's not even that, though.
- 1:25:01It's it's it's actually more it's it's actually more
- 1:25:05exhausting to fret out this stuff than just to like be busy
- 1:25:11and like work and like work on stuff, you know?
- 1:25:16Well, you're not changing what's going on no matter what you do.
- 1:25:21That's the other thing too, is it is.
- 1:25:23It's like it's it's out of, it's out of our hands mostly.
- 1:25:29It's it's like I was saying at the beginning, like the reason
- 1:25:32why, you know, I interviewed my friend in Israel is because
- 1:25:36like, that is something that I could do.
- 1:25:40And like, yeah, it doesn't, it doesn't make an impact, you
- 1:25:44know, like globally, you know, But, like, but like, I got a
- 1:25:47bunch of messages from people like being like, wow, I really
- 1:25:51like that you had someone who had, you know, who was actually
- 1:25:54over there. Thank you for, for that.
- 1:25:58You know, like, yeah, that like that might.
- 1:26:00Contradict what we're saying because we're talking to a
- 1:26:02regular person, right? You know, from their
- 1:26:06perspective. And that's, that's who I really
- 1:26:09care about. And and the people on the news
- 1:26:12media don't, and the people in politics don't.
- 1:26:15And you know, it's it's really tough to, for me anyway, to
- 1:26:21pretend like I'm a part of that cycle and it's just fine.
- 1:26:25It's, I mean the other thing too is, you know, we we talk about,
- 1:26:30like, I've noticed that there is like a grifting component to all
- 1:26:34that too because you know, like now you know, Full disclosure,
- 1:26:40like I do believe in, you know, being prepared for like natural
- 1:26:45disasters and you know, shit. So I'm not mocking the prep or
- 1:26:52community per SE because I'm an evil scout.
- 1:26:55Be be prepared as our mock. You mean real who are actually
- 1:26:59doing prep rather than ones talking about what they should
- 1:27:02do online and never doing any of it?
- 1:27:04Yeah, those people. Yeah, those those people who are
- 1:27:09now selling fucking food kits, you know, because, like, because
- 1:27:15the global war might be, you know, cutting or always in in
- 1:27:23their heads. Yeah, and that food kit is gonna
- 1:27:28rot in your fucking basement. That's what's going to happen to
- 1:27:33it by by that. So it sits there in a in a
- 1:27:37bucket in your basement for all fucking eternity.
- 1:27:41So it's the same thing as you buying that fucking treadmill
- 1:27:43that you don't use motherfucker. Yeah.
- 1:27:48You know and it's like and it's like yeah I I like like that
- 1:27:52that was that was one of that was one of the things I mean I I
- 1:27:56you know I'm sorry but I can't raise this bring bring to this
- 1:27:59up that that was that was one of the things that Mersch was like
- 1:28:03making funny for was he's like you have the small show and you
- 1:28:07make no no money you're really bad at making money on your
- 1:28:11show. Well, motherfucker, you've been
- 1:28:14reduced to watching fucking cat videos on your.
- 1:28:18We are bad because we're bad. We're bad at begging.
- 1:28:22That's what it is. You know, like we have this
- 1:28:25thing called dignity. If somebody wants to support the
- 1:28:29show, they they like the the links are fucking there for
- 1:28:33that. But more than that, I would say
- 1:28:36don't. Don't even just buy Sam's book.
- 1:28:38That's what we've been Hawking all along.
- 1:28:40It it's. Awesome.
- 1:28:41And he ain't getting. Rich off of it.
- 1:28:43It's just the point of if you want to help out that's the way
- 1:28:46to do it. I mean, I've, I mean look I've I
- 1:28:50will say like I've I paid for you know, like I you know I paid
- 1:28:57for Spider Man and Phantom Liberty from the book sales.
- 1:29:03I also, I also helped to pay for the web domain for like my
- 1:29:10actual like blog website for the year from some of the royalties
- 1:29:14too. So like yeah it does like I'm
- 1:29:16not getting rich off of it but yeah like it does.
- 1:29:20It has. It helps and it doesn't.
- 1:29:22It's not us begging, because that that is how you become a
- 1:29:26fucking complete goon. With your with a with a literal
- 1:29:30collection, play it out. Or like you guys going to donate
- 1:29:33so that I can pay my rent this month, Go get welfare.
- 1:29:40There's more fucking Honestly, there is more dignity in some of
- 1:29:44these guys just going and taking welfare and stop streaming the
- 1:29:47way they do than what they're doing.
- 1:29:51It's it. And they don't even understand
- 1:29:53how fucking I look. Worse than a guy like Mersch or
- 1:29:57that steel toe. Than I do with the guy outside
- 1:30:00Walmart with a collection plate saying he's homeless.
- 1:30:04That guy. It's.
- 1:30:07I have more respect for that guy.
- 1:30:08I I don't even know like who the.
- 1:30:11I don't even know who the podcast was.
- 1:30:14But like my friend Eric Bishop, who you know I had on the show
- 1:30:20just like a week ago. He said that he wanted he he
- 1:30:23said that he went on like a like a live stream podcast and the I
- 1:30:29guess the host was interviewing them.
- 1:30:31And he said it was pretty jarring because like every few
- 1:30:35minutes he was Eric was being asked a question and the host
- 1:30:41would be like hold on, hold on. And then it would do like we
- 1:30:44have a $50 super chat from XYZ. Like I do hate that too when
- 1:30:51like when you have a guest and then the house interrupts the
- 1:30:55guest to like do a super chat like.
- 1:30:59Well, we like, whether super or regular, we always get to chat,
- 1:31:04but like in time, you know? You're not I.
- 1:31:07Mean for the privilege to interrupt what we're fucking
- 1:31:09talking about. You're paying, essentially, for
- 1:31:12the privilege of us reading your shit.
- 1:31:13But we read your shit for free most of the time anyway, right?
- 1:31:17But what? But what I'm saying now is like
- 1:31:19that that does tend to be a trend though where like where
- 1:31:21like streamer, where like streamers do interrupt
- 1:31:24everything to kind of, you know, to read super jets.
- 1:31:32Well, I mean, that's why Jim made a point to he just does his
- 1:31:35at the end for like an hour. He gets a lot of them, but yeah.
- 1:31:41He could just say no. He could just not have done any
- 1:31:44of that. But he was like, oh, OK, hey,
- 1:31:46I'm going to do super chats now. If you don't care about that,
- 1:31:50you can tune out. That was a smart way to do it.
- 1:31:52I mean, I mean that's that's how I that's how I would do it if we
- 1:31:56got more super chats which we, you know, we have.
- 1:32:01And I we just don't push that at all.
- 1:32:03It's just the thing that's there, you know, and and and
- 1:32:07these beggars like the ones that.
- 1:32:10You know what Reading the Super chats and interrupting the show
- 1:32:12is like A mild annoyance, but stopping the show to beg the
- 1:32:16audience is, to me, the worst offense.
- 1:32:21But that, again, my bad friend, is in traditional radio.
- 1:32:24If you did that on traditional radio, they have a blacklist for
- 1:32:27that. So if you got on as a DJ on a
- 1:32:30radio station and you solicited donations from the audience, you
- 1:32:34would never work in terrestrial radio again.
- 1:32:37They would all know no. This guy's not allowed on the
- 1:32:41air because we don't want beggars, right?
- 1:32:45Right. No that, that that is.
- 1:32:46Actually, Radio DJs want to make extra money.
- 1:32:49If they're popular, they got to do shit like write books, do
- 1:32:53comedy shows, fucking find another fucking thing for you to
- 1:32:57do to make money because you can't just beg your fucking
- 1:33:00listeners. But the Internet broke the
- 1:33:03fucking game. Now you can just beg your
- 1:33:04listeners and look at how lazy the people that do that are.
- 1:33:09And and all those same people are the ones that, like, make
- 1:33:12fun of NPR too. And it's like, at least at least
- 1:33:16NPR it's not. Hey, I need you to pay to fix my
- 1:33:20BMW. It's this is how the station is
- 1:33:23funded. So we do an ad break every
- 1:33:27fucking 45 minutes and say, hey, this whole station will no
- 1:33:31longer exist if we don't get funding.
- 1:33:35That's a little different. Then like Steel Toe saying I'm
- 1:33:38going to be broken homeless if you don't send me $150.00 right
- 1:33:42now. Good.
- 1:33:45Be broken homeless then. If you think people are supposed
- 1:33:49to care, you're stupid. No one cares.
- 1:33:54And if you're if you provide a show entertaining enough that
- 1:33:57somebody's going to throw some money at you, that's fucking
- 1:33:59great. But the entitlement doesn't hold
- 1:34:03up very well for very long. Yeah.
- 1:34:05And I mean, and look people people do throwing our.
- 1:34:08Goals and shit when whenever people do throw me donations, I
- 1:34:12I I appreciate it. But I don't.
- 1:34:15I don't expect it either. Well, and we don't sit there and
- 1:34:19take 10 minutes to the show to say, oh, you know, you ain't
- 1:34:21going to do the donations because they support it's it's
- 1:34:23literally we we do it a lot quicker.
- 1:34:25Yeah. You want to help buy Sam's book?
- 1:34:28Yeah. Description Yeah, I mean, I I do
- 1:34:31have, I do have donation links in the description as well.
- 1:34:36You know, this, this past week, I like I said I.
- 1:34:40But we don't have to spend a lot of time talking about it.
- 1:34:42There has been plenty of people that have fucking send in super
- 1:34:44chats and whatnot, right? Just because we're not like,
- 1:34:49hey, you're going to send in the Super chats.
- 1:34:51People just do it if they want to fucking do it.
- 1:34:53That's how it should be. That's what the system's.
- 1:34:55For. It's not for please, please send
- 1:34:59me super chats right now. We need to make $150.00 guys
- 1:35:03right now. By the end of the show or I'm
- 1:35:05going to be homeless. You walk.
- 1:35:08You then be homeless. You want to know I I actually
- 1:35:13have to give myself credit for this though so I guess James
- 1:35:19Bond is maybe going to go woke like when so So what I what I
- 1:35:31did was was so there's this website called bounding.
- 1:35:35Bond, James Bond. So.
- 1:35:39There's there's this website called Bounding into Comics
- 1:35:44which was like reporting on this and so I quote tweeted them and
- 1:35:48and said OK, rather than complaining out like James Bond
- 1:35:53going awoke, I actually wrote a book and you can buy here and
- 1:35:58they actually tweeted me. So that's how that's that's how
- 1:36:04you market. Instead of complaining at
- 1:36:06Wokeism, make something that's and that's not woke and promote
- 1:36:11that. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:36:16Yeah at some point you know I'll I'll fucking put a book out as
- 1:36:20well. I think that's a good policy at
- 1:36:22some point. We've been meaning to do this
- 1:36:24for quite a while ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:36:25At some point merchandise is coming the designs we've we've
- 1:36:31flown some designs out there but we haven't gotten anything
- 1:36:36sufficient yet. But yeah we're getting we'll
- 1:36:38sell shit you like you. The thing is, is the best way to
- 1:36:41do it is if you're if you're supporting the Sam Whitfield.
- 1:36:46Show then you're going to get something in return for your
- 1:36:48fucking money. Yeah.
- 1:36:51Oh, oh, I do want to. Show itself because that's
- 1:36:54that's a cop out. I do want to, I do want to
- 1:36:58address this real quick more, Morpheus says so.
- 1:37:02So that's why Steel Toe Top stopped covering DSP.
- 1:37:06Aaron has become DSP now. Well, honestly, more like Aaron
- 1:37:15hangs out with DSP and and merch now they all they all hang.
- 1:37:19They all hang out together in the same circle.
- 1:37:21It's the merch effect. Yeah.
- 1:37:22He's a part of the merch effect. Literally.
- 1:37:26Yeah. Aaron has stopped covering DSP
- 1:37:28because he's hanging out with DSP.
- 1:37:31So yeah, that. Why?
- 1:37:33People knew him before. I only saw Paul Atovel's thing
- 1:37:36about him, and it was the most embarrassing thing I've seen DSP
- 1:37:40beg for donations, and that's pretty bad.
- 1:37:43But these people had a collection plate, Aaron Aaron,
- 1:37:48much like merch was from what I understand at least was also
- 1:37:52like one of was one of the O and a hang hangers on ONS too.
- 1:37:57Well, I know he, he had a radio show for a short period of time
- 1:38:00on a small station, I think in Kansas, and he got fired.
- 1:38:06For being too edgy or whatever. He was a morning zoo guy.
- 1:38:08I was making fun of morning zoo guys just last week, right?
- 1:38:14Yeah, that that, that, that actually got that actually got
- 1:38:17clipped. That actually got clipped from
- 1:38:21one of my one of my aisle friends.
- 1:38:23Clipped. That and it's and it's
- 1:38:26hilarious. You should you should show me
- 1:38:27because I I. The The toilet flush thinks too
- 1:38:31much, but the fucking morning zoo shit, that's what he was.
- 1:38:34He was a morning zoo show, decided to move over to the
- 1:38:37Internet, and then again, like nobody ever he, he must not have
- 1:38:42worked in the radio industry very long because he think I've
- 1:38:48heard him say now that he thinks he going to get back on to the
- 1:38:52terrestrial radio at some point in the future.
- 1:38:56I'm here to tell you, Sir, that's not going to happen.
- 1:38:59Because you beg, No one will hire you.
- 1:39:03You're a beggar. Not.
- 1:39:07I mean, Clear Channel owns every goddamn radio station.
- 1:39:10And I promise you they will not hire you.
- 1:39:13Promise you that they won't hire me.
- 1:39:15I'm not a beggar. I have a foul mouth.
- 1:39:18I'm on a different. I'm on a different list, yeah,
- 1:39:22they they probably, they probably won't hire me either,
- 1:39:26so. Well, yeah, but like.
- 1:39:29Generally, if you have experience as a DJ, it's easy to
- 1:39:32get work as at at a different station.
- 1:39:34But if you're a beggar or a foul mouth, look, I paid my FCC
- 1:39:39fines, all right? I think I should have a clean
- 1:39:43slate. How how much are those by, by
- 1:39:47the way? Like, I know, I know that Howard
- 1:39:49Shore, like, has based some like, absurd.
- 1:39:52Well, his was in the six figures, but they're very rough.
- 1:39:59They're very rough, OK? I put it that way.
- 1:40:03Like I know Howard Stern and I was on at 3:00 in the morning,
- 1:40:06so I wasn't no figures, but it was 5 figures.
- 1:40:10Yeah. Yeah, five figures for saying
- 1:40:13fuck. I paid it, I paid it.
- 1:40:19Don't say fuck on the. Radio.
- 1:40:21I learned my lesson, but it doesn't matter.
- 1:40:26Yeah, I quit in glorious fashion.
- 1:40:28That probably doesn't help. But I I'm not a beggar, right?
- 1:40:32So maybe I have a better chance. If I ever wanted to you know
- 1:40:37that that's the that's the whole thing is like, it just yeah,
- 1:40:43like, yeah, like people people are like, oh, oh, you don't make
- 1:40:48any more and you don't make any money on the show.
- 1:40:51No, we actually do. We don't beg.
- 1:40:54Begging for money is not the same thing as making money on
- 1:40:57this. Show and also being like being
- 1:41:01very open about begging for money is a tell.
- 1:41:05Just so you know, we don't do that.
- 1:41:07People who do do that. That's kind of a tell.
- 1:41:10A tell as to what? Well, maybe that they don't.
- 1:41:13Maybe they're not in a very financially stable place, Put it
- 1:41:17that way. We have no such problem here.
- 1:41:22And you know, this is a show we like.
- 1:41:24Sam's been doing this show fucking rain or shine for what,
- 1:41:2715 years? Yeah, yeah, I mean I I've been
- 1:41:31doing and that's the other thing too is like podcasting as a
- 1:41:37format did not start out as like E begging thing.
- 1:41:40It was a honestly like, it was a big nerd hobby when it first
- 1:41:45like. When it first you know like like
- 1:41:51I was around when I when when a bunch of like comic book
- 1:41:56podcasts were like starting out like I'll tell you.
- 1:42:00I'll tell you what people did did use of like the the guy who
- 1:42:05the guy who ran the the local comic shop near me had a podcast
- 1:42:08and he wouldn't use it to like say like.
- 1:42:12Hey, we're going to hey, we're going to talk about comics.
- 1:42:15But also, folks, we have specials on.
- 1:42:19Yeah, yeah. Next week we're going to have so
- 1:42:21and so in store doing a signing and also all these issues of
- 1:42:25whatever, whatever are on sale. Yeah, that's brilliant.
- 1:42:28Yeah, yeah, yeah. And like, that's how that's how,
- 1:42:31like comic book podcasting, like even before the MCU, you know,
- 1:42:37Or any of the comic or even of many of the big superhero movies
- 1:42:40became like a thing that that's what comic book podcasts for the
- 1:42:44most part, initially were were. Internet radio was on a
- 1:42:48different tip, but there was a similar problem is that it was
- 1:42:51kind of a nerdy thing. And so the the problem that we
- 1:42:56started to solve from like when we built cryptic radio, which
- 1:43:00was one of the first to do what it did was how are we going to
- 1:43:05get non nerds to click on this? And the answer was to make it as
- 1:43:10simple as fucking possible. And So what we did is we built a
- 1:43:13player right into the website. So all you had to do was go to
- 1:43:16crypticradio.com and then the the show's playing.
- 1:43:20Whatever's live on the air right now is just playing in the back.
- 1:43:23And then there was a link that you could play it in a Winamp or
- 1:43:26something so you didn't have to keep the window open.
- 1:43:29Winamp for all you young whippersnappers, is like iTunes
- 1:43:34for old people. I had a Winamp.
- 1:43:40Yeah, Winamp. I mean, Winamp really whips the
- 1:43:42Llama's ass, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:43:44I I also had a Acrobat. I actually talked at this.
- 1:43:49I had a Winamp on my PSP on my PlayStation Portable.
- 1:43:53Yeah. Winamp was a trustworthy fucking
- 1:43:55media player. And So what you could do with
- 1:43:57Winamp was this thing called Shout Casting, which is how he
- 1:44:00ran the whole fucking thing. Yep, and Shout Cast connected to
- 1:44:04We use the ICE Cast program. And so you could broadcast your
- 1:44:08audio from your computer over through Winamp.
- 1:44:12So we just built a Winamp player right into the website.
- 1:44:15So because like, our main group wasn't nerds.
- 1:44:19Our main groups were people who are aware of the Internet and
- 1:44:22into the hardcore rap music, underground horror shit, right?
- 1:44:29So it's not exactly the nerdiest people in the world, for the
- 1:44:33most part. And so we had to just be like,
- 1:44:36OK, just come to crypticradio.com and it'll
- 1:44:39automatically play. And so we used to have a lot of
- 1:44:41fucking listeners. Once we figured that out, 'cause
- 1:44:43we were the only ones doing it. What?
- 1:44:46What at what I did? Then it was just a matter of
- 1:44:49trading Flyers around at fucking like concerts.
- 1:44:54We just made-up Flyers and we'd have DJs like 'cause it was an
- 1:44:57Internet thing, All the DJs were located all over the country, so
- 1:45:01like. If there's a show up in Boston,
- 1:45:03I was going to be there anyway. I'm dropping fucking cryptic
- 1:45:07radio Flyers left and right, handing them to whoever.
- 1:45:10And it worked, because the peak of peak broadcast of my show
- 1:45:15back then again, the midnight hour was 17,000 live listeners.
- 1:45:24Yeah, you know, get the fucking message out there and make it
- 1:45:28simple and it what it was. These people listen to this kind
- 1:45:32of underground music anyway, and it's just a radio station,
- 1:45:35uncensored, playing it 24 hours a day.
- 1:45:38So once they found it, they were like, yeah, it is cool.
- 1:45:41And they could put it on the old iPods used to support it too.
- 1:45:44Yeah, like real old iPods. Yeah.
- 1:45:48No, when I when I when I first started.
- 1:45:52I mean, I I used shuttlecast too.
- 1:45:54But the other thing was I I so initially like for podcasting
- 1:46:03there was Lipson and that was kind of it as far as like
- 1:46:06hosting went. But what I did was Google had
- 1:46:12this product called Feedburner and there was a there was
- 1:46:17actually a way where you could like where you could like use
- 1:46:21the Internet Archive and then you could also use Feedburner to
- 1:46:26like Jared like a podcast hosting a thing for free
- 1:46:32basically. And so I would basically like
- 1:46:36use Winamp to like do the live stream, but I would also be like
- 1:46:40recording it. And then I I would basically
- 1:46:43just like upload my show to like a private like Internet archive
- 1:46:47page and feed that into the feed Burner thing and then send that
- 1:46:53to iTunes. So it was kind of like it.
- 1:46:58It was a jarring, you know, I mean, it looks like a 90s
- 1:47:02website, but you know, it worked.
- 1:47:05And you know, that was how a lot of people did free podcast
- 1:47:11hosting back in the day since, yeah.
- 1:47:14See we we had paid for the bandwidth and everything for the
- 1:47:18site, but like we didn't. I recorded a lot of my shows,
- 1:47:23but they're long since lost. We don't have any archive.
- 1:47:26That's the sad part. Cryptic radio is just gone, just
- 1:47:29gone. And it was.
- 1:47:30It was a period of time. What happened actually is like
- 1:47:34the the code and stuff that we used for the website got bought
- 1:47:37out by Psychopathic Records and was later used to create what
- 1:47:41they called hatchet radio, which I did work for at a first short
- 1:47:45period of time. But it was too.
- 1:47:48It was too restrictive for me. Because for the same reason,
- 1:47:52radio was too restrictive for me.
- 1:47:53But in their case, like you can swear, you can pretty much say
- 1:47:56whatever you want, but what you couldn't do was what I used to
- 1:48:00do on Cryptic, which was listen to people that they have no
- 1:48:03contract with or anything because I would have anybody
- 1:48:06just could send me a song and I'll play right.
- 1:48:09And they didn't let me do that at Hatchet Radio because they
- 1:48:12were essentially part of the record label.
- 1:48:16So they wanted to promote their own artists?
- 1:48:19Yeah, no, almost all my show, all, almost all my shows from
- 1:48:24what of the withhold analysis from like 2008 to 2011 are gone
- 1:48:30because you know the files and the website just.
- 1:48:35And I did bring it back. I I couldn't call it cryptic
- 1:48:38because the guy cryptic that started it.
- 1:48:41That's why it was cryptic. Radio fucking owned it.
- 1:48:45But I came back and and me and a few friends in like 2008 or 9.
- 1:48:49Did SSR which was so sick. Radio and and we did the same
- 1:48:57kind of thing for a while. Obviously by that point though
- 1:48:59people were watching YouTube or just listening to music on
- 1:49:03iTunes or Spotify. So not as popular and I don't
- 1:49:07expect it to be popular, but God damn it I'm gonna do it for my
- 1:49:10own enjoyment this Halloween. The midnight hour Hollow fucking
- 1:49:15wicked stream with the most brutal ruthless.
- 1:49:19Thick and twisted fucking music known to man.
- 1:49:23That's Devil's Night, by the way.
- 1:49:25Devil's Night, October 30th. I also used to use blog talk
- 1:49:30radio, and then I used. I was part of like a podcast
- 1:49:35network on Spreaker when that was a thing.
- 1:49:41And then? I got into this kind of shit
- 1:49:45because there was an open Google Hangout that I joined in trying
- 1:49:48to call somebody the F slur. And I just been arguing with
- 1:49:52people about politics ever since I I'm I miss.
- 1:49:57I miss Google, I miss Google Hangouts.
- 1:50:01I miss Google Hangouts on Air. That was a lot of fun.
- 1:50:06Like Stream Yards is a not worthy successor to it either.
- 1:50:11It used to be people would have these open Google Hangouts and
- 1:50:14you can find hours and hours of being schmooly trolling
- 1:50:18motherfuckers in open Google Hangouts.
- 1:50:20Now you'll have to find these random ass 8 hour streams, you
- 1:50:25know, with five fucking viewers to find it.
- 1:50:28But if you do find it, we're really funny.
- 1:50:31I think on my main I think on my Sam Whitfield YouTube channel
- 1:50:36you can still find some Google Hangouts.
- 1:50:40I'm a bit Shaft because when we lost when we lost the Whitfield
- 1:50:45Report channel, we also lost a lot of the Google Hangout
- 1:50:50streams that unfortunately weren't or may fortunately
- 1:50:55depending on how you look at it, didn't get uploaded to Rumble
- 1:51:02because we made just edgy jokes for the sake of being edgy on
- 1:51:11some of those. But yeah, good times.
- 1:51:16See, See, folks talking at Old Internet Raider.
- 1:51:18Way more fun than talking at World War Three, huh?
- 1:51:23Anything is more fun than that. Well, except maybe getting raped
- 1:51:29in the butt. That's probably not.
- 1:51:32I'd probably rather talk about World War Three than get raped
- 1:51:35in the butt. Well, I mean the the military,
- 1:51:41the military industry complex wants to rape us in the butt
- 1:51:44collectively by forcing us into the into this, you know, war.
- 1:51:51So. I just wish they would at least
- 1:51:53kiss me first, yeah. Or at least because I like to
- 1:51:58get kissed. When I'm getting fucked.
- 1:52:02Or or, you know, Or if you're going to treat us like whores,
- 1:52:05just, you know, always pay us first.
- 1:52:09So but keep. It on the fucking dresser,
- 1:52:12motherfucker, yeah. Yeah, it's pretty.
- 1:52:16It's pretty wild out there. Keep your fucking heads down
- 1:52:20boys. Do do your thing.
- 1:52:22Don't worry about all this fucking shit.
- 1:52:25Yeah, if they if they institute a draft, I have it on good
- 1:52:29authority that they don't allow racists in the military.
- 1:52:32So you might just want to use the N word.
- 1:52:36Oh boy. That's that Max's advice on how
- 1:52:40to get out of the draft is publicly say the N word.
- 1:52:46Well, I mean I'm I'm. I'm already set that like people
- 1:52:50people feel sorry for me because I'm in a wheelchair.
- 1:52:53But it's like this is one of the advantages to being like
- 1:52:56crippled is like. Yeah, that's some bullshit.
- 1:53:02That's some we need to get Sam drafted, boys.
- 1:53:06He's going to get out of this shit.
- 1:53:10We need to, we need to do something here.
- 1:53:12We need to make him in his fucking wheelchair into a tank.
- 1:53:17So that so then my SO, then my fantasy of becoming the Punisher
- 1:53:21can become true. True then, basically.
- 1:53:25Well, you'd be like half a punisher.
- 1:53:27Well, yeah, I'd be like I I'd actually be like a Cyborg
- 1:53:32punisher, maybe. Oh.
- 1:53:34That that'd be pretty cool. So yeah, let's get him some
- 1:53:38like, tank tread fucking wheelchairs.
- 1:53:40Do them out in the desert with an AK47 and a fucking turbine
- 1:53:44on. That is that is my that is my
- 1:53:46that is my other complaint about cyberpunk.
- 1:53:50Why are there fucking wheelchairs in like?
- 1:53:56I guess if you're poor and you can't afford like.
- 1:54:01Like cybernetics, but like, yeah, if you're if you're in, if
- 1:54:09you're in like like I can't remember who, I can't remember
- 1:54:12which gang it is in Cypunk 2077. But there is one gang in like
- 1:54:16one of the one of the capos or something is in like a
- 1:54:20wheelchair and it's like, dude, you probably have the you
- 1:54:23probably have the eddies to get like Cybernetics or some shit
- 1:54:27like that. Like why?
- 1:54:29Yeah, I mean. See, I have perfectly working
- 1:54:33legs and the first thing I was like is, oh, can I get legs that
- 1:54:37double jump though? Yeah.
- 1:54:41That'd be pretty cool. Why?
- 1:54:43Why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't?
- 1:54:44Why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't you get Gorilla
- 1:54:47Grill Arms? Seriously now I was like, wait,
- 1:54:51I can get Gorilla arm? Let's fucking go.
- 1:54:55I I'm kind of I'm kind of afraid what to know what Morpheus is
- 1:55:01you know Chromebil would be like if he if he could actually get
- 1:55:05one because. Morphe Morpheus says no draft
- 1:55:09for me either bitches And he's also said I'll be the other half
- 1:55:13of The Punisher. He he Morpheus would probably be
- 1:55:18like, would probably be like, oh who's?
- 1:55:20Guys you guys are going to form the cripple Voltron all.
- 1:55:26Of a sudden you both roll up and your wheelchair start folding
- 1:55:29out into fucking robots and shit.
- 1:55:32Apex, one of the one of the guys that Apex and I used to hang out
- 1:55:37with, used to call me Cripple Tron, actually.
- 1:55:43So so yeah, I I I propose we bring that back for and make
- 1:55:51Cripple Tron a thing. That's right.
- 1:55:56Well, you'll be like the crippled Megazord now.
- 1:55:58You're going to fucking merge together your wheelchairs and
- 1:56:01going to be a giant walking. You guys will just be the legs.
- 1:56:05We we need like four more cripples to make this happen.
- 1:56:08We and and and imagine that like, I can just imagine, like
- 1:56:16the crippled town would be probably more equipped to deal
- 1:56:19with like, you know, insurgents than the military.
- 1:56:24That's right. But you know what?
- 1:56:24They're not equipped to deal with stairs.
- 1:56:27Stairs. Yeah, you got me.
- 1:56:35They're like, we're going to save the country.
- 1:56:37The fuck stairs? Why does it?
- 1:56:43Always have to. Be stairs that that that would
- 1:56:47that would always be the problem with.
- 1:56:49That would also be the problem with like sending us to the
- 1:56:51Middle East too is like, it's like expecting us to like fight
- 1:56:55in like ancient ass, like, you know, like like Middle Eastern.
- 1:57:02Those houses don't look very wheelchair accessible.
- 1:57:06No, not at all. You're.
- 1:57:09Going to have you fucking sweeping house to house and
- 1:57:11you're like, I can't even get in the fucking.
- 1:57:13Door. Oh no, no, not not even that.
- 1:57:18But like, but you don't think of it like there's sand everywhere.
- 1:57:21And like honestly, like wheelchair wheelchairs don't do
- 1:57:25good and like heavy duty sand. So like, it's like my wheelchair
- 1:57:29would just be getting cotton sand.
- 1:57:31Traps. That's why.
- 1:57:32Were you going to get a wheelchair with treads?
- 1:57:34You know, yeah, they they actually do make like
- 1:57:39wheelchairs with, like, tank treads that, like, wounded
- 1:57:42veterans can use to hunt. But they're like, they're like
- 1:57:46super expensive too. But wounded, Those wounded
- 1:57:50veterans that you know, so many are homeless.
- 1:57:54But no, let's send more money to Palestine, yeah.
- 1:58:00Like, let's make some more wounded veterans, some more
- 1:58:04wounded warriors, 'cause we can't take care of them once we
- 1:58:07got. So why not?
- 1:58:09Yeah, yeah, let's let's just let's just further burden the VA
- 1:58:14which like, yeah, like OK, granted I can't realize.
- 1:58:18Unbroken. Yeah.
- 1:58:20Yeah. I do realize, like there are
- 1:58:22bureaucratic issues with the VA 2.
- 1:58:25Like, I will grant, I will grant people that.
- 1:58:27But there is also the problem that like the system is just so
- 1:58:31overtaxed too that it's like it's it's hard so.
- 1:58:41Yeah, no. No, we don't.
- 1:58:43We don't need money for taking care of our own people.
- 1:58:45We got to take care of people halfway across the world, some
- 1:58:49of whom might be terrorists. It's fine.
- 1:58:51We'll take care of them too. But just not our own fucking
- 1:58:54wounded warriors that, like I personally know several who are
- 1:58:58or have been homeless. Oh, me.
- 1:59:00Me too. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:59:05Yeah, Uncle Sam cares about them.
- 1:59:06I don't care about what Uncle Sam, you know, wants to get into
- 1:59:09a war about. Take care of those guys.
- 1:59:14Take care of the starving children we've got.
- 1:59:16Take care of the crime problem. Take care of literally anything
- 1:59:19in this country. Bring back some manufacturing
- 1:59:24jobs we could use jobs. Bring inflation down.
- 1:59:27How about gas prices you want to do something about?
- 1:59:29Nah, Nah, Let's just send money to fucking Israel and Palestine.
- 1:59:34Wow, it's it's almost like you actually literally do care care
- 1:59:38about. Like putting America first, Max.
- 1:59:41Imagine the Imagine that America First is like an actual action.
- 1:59:47Yeah. So.
- 1:59:49Yeah, yeah, it's. I know it's weird.
- 1:59:52It's this weird old mentality. Nobody has any more.
- 1:59:56Make it may not make America. I don't think it would work
- 2:00:02quite as well. Morpheus, by the way, said he in
- 2:00:05in the the crippled Voltron. He's he's the arms 'cause he's
- 2:00:09the jacked ass arms jacked as fuck arm.
- 2:00:11Sorry. Based.
- 2:00:14Yeah. I think, I think, I think Mesa
- 2:00:20would be a good slogan. Make America Sane Again.
- 2:00:25How about just how about Just like America Again, we need to
- 2:00:30make just America again? Yeah, like, can we have that?
- 2:00:36Is that too much 'cause we don't have it anymore?
- 2:00:41Yeah, it is. It is.
- 2:00:43It is. It's it's too.
- 2:00:45That's too much, you know? What do you want?
- 2:00:48You want. You want the You want the
- 2:00:50American dream. Not even the dream.
- 2:00:52Don't need the dream. Don't need the dream.
- 2:00:54Just America again the way it was about 10 years ago.
- 2:01:00See a lot of people say further back than that, but a lot of
- 2:01:03people are fucking short sighted.
- 2:01:04Nah, 10 years ago is fine. Yeah, no, 1010 years ago, 10
- 2:01:10years ago. Always fine weight of things
- 2:01:13then. Except for the war, you know.
- 2:01:16Yeah, at least. At least everybody was pro
- 2:01:19American troops or whatever. Now everybody shits on them,
- 2:01:22too. Shit on everybody.
- 2:01:24Everybody hates everybody. Nobody's a part of any fucking
- 2:01:28larger, greater thing than themselves.
- 2:01:29Nobody can fucking think past their fucking the nose on their
- 2:01:33face. And This is why I'm outside.
- 2:01:36And This is why I'm being dad and This is why I'm not paying
- 2:01:39attention to all this stupid bullshit.
- 2:01:43Except enough to fucking point out how stupid the bullshit is.
- 2:01:47This is, this is also, ironically, why the show where
- 2:01:51you talk about. You know, going camping where
- 2:01:54we're both talking about what we did on 4th of July is one of the
- 2:01:57highest rated shows that we've done this year.
- 2:02:03Yeah, no, I'm. I'm not kidding either.
- 2:02:08Yeah, yeah, I I'm not surprised by that at all.
- 2:02:11You know, we we talking talking about the same shit.
- 2:02:15I mean every everybody covering politics is always on the same
- 2:02:18fucking two or three topics anyway.
- 2:02:20We just just magnified it. It to to quote, to quote, to
- 2:02:28quote as it's boring. It's so fucking boring, which is
- 2:02:37how I feel about like this. Last year it was pick the side
- 2:02:41of Ukraine and Russia, now it's pick your Palestine or Israel.
- 2:02:45What side are we going to get forced to pick from next?
- 2:02:47Who knows, ladies and gentlemen, but I guarantee there will be
- 2:02:50one. There always is, and it and it's
- 2:02:56boring. So I find a lot more fun in like
- 2:03:02taking my kid down to the park, then watching some Jack off.
- 2:03:06Tell me about the his political opinions.
- 2:03:12And if you're watching these Jack offs talk about our
- 2:03:15political opinions, well, that's different because you have good
- 2:03:17taste. Talk about all the other Jack
- 2:03:19offs. I I will, I will say even when
- 2:03:25I'm ripping on the whole idea of like what we're doing here, I
- 2:03:30still say, you know, this is the, this is the spot though
- 2:03:32this is different. Well, I mean it.
- 2:03:37It actually is. Because, like, we can at least
- 2:03:40admit that it's all, you know, BS kind of.
- 2:03:46I mean, we could not. What we could do is we could
- 2:03:50totally just take a side and chill and beg for donations and
- 2:03:55probably do a lot better. Yeah, but then we'd also feel
- 2:04:02like total piece of pieces of shit for well, well, I wouldn't,
- 2:04:07because I have no problem like lying like that.
- 2:04:12Because people, if people believed me, it would be very
- 2:04:14funny. I mean, I wouldn't feel bad at
- 2:04:18all. I mean, like, I could have sold
- 2:04:22out in like, what? Gone on the Never Trump Train.
- 2:04:28That would have 'cause like endeavor for you for about two
- 2:04:31months though. Yeah, I I, hey, I I would have
- 2:04:35made, I would have made, I would have made at least 60 K during
- 2:04:41those two months. Fair enough.
- 2:04:46You know, yeah, I act like I would sell out and I'm literally
- 2:04:49a guy that's like quit multiple fucking positions over not
- 2:04:53wanting to sell out. So.
- 2:04:56No, I mean, I, I, I, I will say one thing for the, you know, for
- 2:05:01a kind of like the fear mongers is all these like conspiracy
- 2:05:07theories at World War Three that like, honestly, I will say this.
- 2:05:13They do make great premises to like, write fiction around.
- 2:05:20Because yeah, I would love like I I always thought like the
- 2:05:23greatest universe you could create would be 1, where all of
- 2:05:27the conspiracy theories are true at once, even the ones that
- 2:05:31contradict each other. That that's that's actually
- 2:05:36that's actually kind of been one I one of my problems to be
- 2:05:40honest in in like writing. My series is like, I actually,
- 2:05:44like tried to integrate some of these conspiracy theories into
- 2:05:49the plot and some of them just don't work because they
- 2:05:53contradict each other. Yeah, no, I just wanna.
- 2:05:58I just wanna create a world. It's like it's like yours or
- 2:06:01it's a James Bond type world and but but one conspiracy theory is
- 2:06:06true and that it's that the Earth is flat and your your job.
- 2:06:11You work for the secret organization that's charged with
- 2:06:14making sure nobody knows that the earth is fucking flat.
- 2:06:18I feel like that would be a good premise for Common.
- 2:06:22I I I feel like. I feel like a premise where like
- 2:06:26we never went to the moon and the moon landing was fake.
- 2:06:29Like, no, it's even better than that because they tried to go to
- 2:06:33the moon and the first rocket they shot hit the Dome.
- 2:06:37That's the premise of my universe.
- 2:06:39The first rocket they shot hit the fucking Dome.
- 2:06:41And they were like, wait a minute, but they couldn't tell
- 2:06:44everybody. So that's when it's the moon
- 2:06:47landing, because they couldn't actually get there.
- 2:06:50Yeah, yeah, yeah. We had we, you know, and we
- 2:06:54totally like had CGI and like advanced computer special
- 2:06:59effects in the 1960s. Yes.
- 2:07:02Yeah, yeah, obviously. Even even though, even though
- 2:07:07like computers were like, you know, the size.
- 2:07:10Like what did you do? Hold on though, Think about this
- 2:07:14realistically for a second. What would you do if you had
- 2:07:17promised everybody you're going to get to the moon?
- 2:07:19You're the fucking head guy at NASA, right?
- 2:07:22And the first rocket hit the fucking Dome and blows up.
- 2:07:25What would you fucking do? You probably faked the moon
- 2:07:27landing too, 'cause otherwise your funding's about to get cut
- 2:07:30once everybody realizes that the the whole point of NASA is to
- 2:07:34launch rockets into space, and we can't do that.
- 2:07:38So they had to make it, you see? Fair enough.
- 2:07:43But but then, like how? Oh my God, what was the old one
- 2:07:48they had? What's his face directed?
- 2:07:54Yeah, yeah, like this. This.
- 2:07:57The 2001 Space Odyssey guy. Yeah, I know, I know.
- 2:08:01Cooperate. They had cooperates directed on
- 2:08:04a sound stage in fucking Las Vegas.
- 2:08:06Yeah. Yeah, but see, in in this
- 2:08:11universe, that's all true. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:08:17I'm telling you it'd make a good premise because, like, think
- 2:08:20about all the fucking stupid, like, spy type bullshit that
- 2:08:24would come of trying to hide that information from the
- 2:08:26general public and pretend like we went to the moon and all
- 2:08:31that. That could create a great story.
- 2:08:34It it could, or a bad one. Depends on who's writing it.
- 2:08:42Yeah, it could. It could either be really good
- 2:08:44or really bad. Yeah, hopefully not Johnny Fox
- 2:08:48bad though, because that's not even really bad.
- 2:08:51It's just like unreadable. Well, well, that's like a that's
- 2:08:56like a pretty low. That's like a pretty low bar,
- 2:09:00though. It is.
- 2:09:05Like, I feel like I'm actually out to, like, try to oh, I
- 2:09:10called Johnny out on the show last week.
- 2:09:12Let me see, did he delete his channel yet?
- 2:09:14Because usually that's how he does it.
- 2:09:17Hold on, let me see Johnny Fox. But he had.
- 2:09:21He was up to, like, yeah, 22K subscribers.
- 2:09:27Yeah, yeah. He's gotten like 5000 fucking
- 2:09:30views on one of his videos. Wow, Johnny, he can't delete
- 2:09:34now. Oh, doesn't that suck?
- 2:09:37Oh, oh, he's in a position where he can't delete to run away from
- 2:09:41me. Oh, it's not good.
- 2:09:43Oh, what's he going to do? How does he get 5000 views?
- 2:09:50But I I capped at 800 and bots no he bots.
- 2:09:54Oh yeah, he he bots and he buys Facebook ads for his shit.
- 2:10:00Which is why, like, his content is really, really dumb for
- 2:10:03anybody. Like, if you don't believe me,
- 2:10:05look up the Johnny Fox Show on YouTube and just watch any one
- 2:10:09of his videos and tell me the guy's not, like, dumb.
- 2:10:12Like, actually stupid, but because he's advertising on
- 2:10:16Facebook, you see what I mean? He picks up a lot of dumb
- 2:10:24Facebook users because who uses Facebook in 2023?
- 2:10:30It's all, yeah, it's all boomers.
- 2:10:31He's talking to boomers and they think he's really funny because
- 2:10:34he says fart sometimes. Yeah.
- 2:10:39Well, like, you know, I'll admit, like in my, like, I had a
- 2:10:42bunch of boomers who were like saying, like, in my early days
- 2:10:46were like you could be in the next Rush Limbaugh, you know, or
- 2:10:49something like that. Because I don't know, you'd have
- 2:10:52to gain quite a bit of weight. That's that's very true.
- 2:10:56And I would also have to start smoking a lot more cigars.
- 2:11:01Yeah, get hooked on pain pills. Switch to vaping like you got a
- 2:11:06long way to be rushed. Come on now.
- 2:11:09I I have to get married and divorced.
- 2:11:11Like, what was it four times or three times?
- 2:11:20Yeah. But Boomers, like Boomers is a
- 2:11:24low bar to impress them. So I'm not surprised that he
- 2:11:27would pick up a bunch of Boomers and then he's got the bots.
- 2:11:31Yeah, but either way, his channel's too big down to run
- 2:11:35away from me. Usually what I said last week,
- 2:11:37he'd have deleted his whole channel.
- 2:11:38Now that I've confirmed that he ain't going anywhere, 'cause he
- 2:11:42doesn't want to give up. His successful channel 22000
- 2:11:45subscribers is not particularly successful on YouTube, but
- 2:11:49whatever, he can't run away from it.
- 2:11:53So I'm gonna have to bring the fight, have his discord.
- 2:11:57I should just put his Discord up on Twitter and see who wants to
- 2:12:01join. Well, I mean it.
- 2:12:04I mean, if it's I can't but. Well, I mean if it's if it's if
- 2:12:08it's an open discord, like fair game, right?
- 2:12:13He'll ban you. But yeah, it is open to join.
- 2:12:17He's just like super paranoid of me coming in and if I come in he
- 2:12:20gets me. I gets pretty quickly.
- 2:12:24Granted, I don't pretend to be anybody but who I am.
- 2:12:29I probably could just like be like Johnny Fox Fan 22 or
- 2:12:34something and he'd fucking not know.
- 2:12:37But like, I that's not how I operate.
- 2:12:39I like people to know that I'm fucking with him.
- 2:12:43Yeah, I know. Bit of a code of honor for me.
- 2:12:47Yeah, yeah, that's. That's.
- 2:12:48The thing is, is when you're fucking with people, you, you
- 2:12:51tell people. So which I would think you would
- 2:12:56think that that would like be enough to stop them.
- 2:13:00You'd be wrong. It it, it's the it's the
- 2:13:03Internet. People are dumb here, that's for
- 2:13:09sure. Everything's guilt by
- 2:13:12association, right? Yep.
- 2:13:16I'm getting asked today. I'm getting asked.
- 2:13:18I'm not going to delve into, like, who or what was discussed,
- 2:13:20but I'm getting asked today. Oh, Sam likes so and so on
- 2:13:24Twitter. Like, yeah, Sam likes everybody.
- 2:13:29He's good at promotion. He befriends everybody.
- 2:13:33I mean there are there are some people like there are some
- 2:13:37people like like who I, you know who I generally like don't fall.
- 2:13:42But like if you if you retweet like enough my enough, my stuff
- 2:13:46and like kind of seem normal ish.
- 2:13:51Yeah, I'm. I'll probably follow you or
- 2:13:53something like that for and that's you know, like that's not
- 2:13:57a confirmation of their fucking moral character on your end.
- 2:14:00You're just like, oh, this guy retweets my shit and he doesn't
- 2:14:03seem like a fucking freak. You would.
- 2:14:05You would really ask me if I if I knew who.
- 2:14:08You know I won't. I won't.
- 2:14:09I can't even remember who it was now.
- 2:14:12But like, you asked me who like a certain someone was because
- 2:14:15you got asked about them. And I'm like who?
- 2:14:18Like I had to look him up to like.
- 2:14:21Like me too. Yeah, I got asked.
- 2:14:24I was like, I don't know who the fuck that is.
- 2:14:26Oh well, Sam follows him. I was like, that doesn't mean he
- 2:14:28knows who the fuck it is either. That that tends that tends to be
- 2:14:33the case with not just me, but with a lot of people saying, you
- 2:14:38know, like like, yeah, you don't vet everybody you follow.
- 2:14:42And so imagine being the guy that says that if you follow
- 2:14:46somebody on Twitter, to follow somebody else that does a bad
- 2:14:50thing makes you that same bad thing.
- 2:14:52Like that would be a pretty stupid position.
- 2:14:54Not to say any names or anything, but that would be a
- 2:14:56pretty stupid position to take, wouldn't it?
- 2:14:59That that that logic is so retarded too, because like I
- 2:15:06mean I know it's I know it's an old degrees to separation from.
- 2:15:09Somebody. Yeah, that.
- 2:15:12No, that's exactly what I was going to say.
- 2:15:14The. Like, have people not heard of
- 2:15:16the Six Degrees of separation? You know, thing?
- 2:15:20Like, I know it's cliche, but it's true.
- 2:15:23Yeah. Well, and people do it for like
- 2:15:25celebrities. Like it was always Kevin Bacon
- 2:15:27was the big one or whatever. But like, the idea is that you
- 2:15:32can go through the connections of people you know to people
- 2:15:35that they know, to people that they know, and connect yourself
- 2:15:38to people that you would never fucking expect.
- 2:15:41And it usually takes no more than six degrees to get back.
- 2:15:45So by that logic, everybody is guilty of every bad thing that's
- 2:15:48ever happened in the world, all the time.
- 2:15:49And we're all guilty. And that's a stupid position to
- 2:15:53take. Not saying any clock names.
- 2:15:57Sorry, I had a little clock in my throat there.
- 2:16:01Yeah, yeah. Sorry.
- 2:16:03Frog in my throat. Frog in my throat.
- 2:16:06Oh, we got anything else? We didn't have much and we go 2
- 2:16:10hours. Oh, here, here's here's one
- 2:16:13thing I will say is, you know, if if you find the fact I talk,
- 2:16:19you know, politics boring, that's fine.
- 2:16:25You know, don't TuneIn. Don't tune into the show then.
- 2:16:30And if I find that you, for example, I don't know, talk
- 2:16:33about one particular guy on the Internet.
- 2:16:37That's all your show is about. I find that boring.
- 2:16:41Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's pretty boring.
- 2:16:44Especially. Could you imagine if you
- 2:16:47dedicated your whole show to somebody and then they started
- 2:16:50doing all the things like to better themselves, like losing
- 2:16:54weight and like, not saying as many stupid things and not being
- 2:16:58an alcoholic. And your whole job is to make
- 2:17:00fun of how he's a fat alcoholic and he's suddenly not doing the
- 2:17:04thing anymore. That must really suck.
- 2:17:07It's almost like you're you had a one note fucking joke and it's
- 2:17:13run out. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:17:16You know, not, not not anybody in particular.
- 2:17:19Yeah, yeah. No.
- 2:17:21Well also though like imagine trying to like explain something
- 2:17:26like that to like a normal person and it's just it's my job
- 2:17:33is my job is is that I do nothing but harass one
- 2:17:38particular person on the Internet every day.
- 2:17:41Who's so niche in my new IT it it doesn't make most people
- 2:17:47aren't gonna think highly of that person, I'll tell you that.
- 2:17:50Yeah, well, like at least with me, like, you know, and I say,
- 2:17:54oh, I talk, you know, politics. And like, like people generally
- 2:17:58understand that even if they don't agree with me.
- 2:18:01Like but like even like you know like even like Mr. Medic or
- 2:18:06someone who is like. You know, relatively known
- 2:18:09online, most people are still like, who's that what?
- 2:18:18Yeah. So about this fucking shit and
- 2:18:25don't really care about it, but if if you were to say like the
- 2:18:29other thing, this isn't either one of our career, so you won't
- 2:18:33get asked that it was like, what do you do for a living?
- 2:18:35Isn't going to be podcasting. It's going to be other things.
- 2:18:40In his case it is. And so it's like, oh, what do
- 2:18:43you podcast about? Some fat drunk guy?
- 2:18:48Yeah. People are going to think you're
- 2:18:49weird. Yeah, for sure.
- 2:18:51That 'cause that is weird. That is weird.
- 2:18:54Like he he streams every day. I'm sorry, this this non nobody
- 2:18:59in particular streams every day about the same guy, you know?
- 2:19:04Yeah, you'd figure a guy like that really has no place to call
- 2:19:09anybody boring. But who?
- 2:19:10Who? Who am I to know?
- 2:19:12Well, they can't be boring because they make money at it
- 2:19:18and we don't, I guess. I guess that's, I guess that's
- 2:19:23like, see, what I'm figuring out is like, that's the new, that's
- 2:19:26the new standard. If you make money at it, you're
- 2:19:31not boring. Well, here's a counter.
- 2:19:36Maybe we're boring, OK, but we don't have Kiwi Farms thread
- 2:19:40making fun of us. EW, good point.
- 2:19:46And also, we have a lot of fun, and it seems like a lot of those
- 2:19:49kind of people don't have a lot of fun because they're always
- 2:19:51angry, you know, and yelling and and flipping out on other.
- 2:19:56We sit here and laugh and talk about video games and don't
- 2:19:58really pay attention to any of that shit.
- 2:20:01I feel like I don't know. I'd rather be boring.
- 2:20:05Silly me, I'd rather that be boring than have a fucking
- 2:20:08collection plate. Please, audience, please give us
- 2:20:12money. I I'd I'd rather be.
- 2:20:16I'd rather be boring than be stressed out about randos making
- 2:20:20fun of me on the on the Internet.
- 2:20:23I'd rather be boring than be forced to beg because my bills
- 2:20:27are coming due and I have no other stream of income.
- 2:20:33Much rather be boring. Touché, 'cause I'm boring, but I
- 2:20:37pay my bills, You see, it's I'm boring.
- 2:20:41I'm boring, but I got like VR headsets.
- 2:20:44I'm boring, but we, you know, like I'm boring, but we're
- 2:20:47fucking not poor. I I'm, I'm boring.
- 2:20:50But you know, I actually like, have friends who, like, I
- 2:20:55connect with in real life. And no way.
- 2:21:00There's no such thing as real life, friends.
- 2:21:04Like I go like I and and like and like actually been going
- 2:21:11out. Like, I actually have met some
- 2:21:13Internet friends in real life and like, but I've known them
- 2:21:19forever too. And that's I'm boring.
- 2:21:25But my wife is from the same town as me.
- 2:21:28I didn't have to mail order shit, not to anybody in pretend.
- 2:21:35I'm just saying there are certain people that, you know,
- 2:21:38bring in a life from kind of far away that maybe has a different
- 2:21:43ethnic background as them, you know what I mean?
- 2:21:45And I never had to do anything like that.
- 2:21:48Yeah, yeah. Well, you know, that's because
- 2:21:51I'm boring though. Yeah, that's The funny thing is
- 2:21:55like, if you look at like Cog's life story and my life story, I
- 2:21:59win in terms of not being boring because his life story is that
- 2:22:04he's poor and he streams and argues with Ethan, Ralph all
- 2:22:07day. You want a life fucking story
- 2:22:09that's entertaining? Let me tell you about the
- 2:22:12fucking time I met this celebrity.
- 2:22:13Let me tell you about the time I had this crazy experience.
- 2:22:16Let me tell you about the time somebody put a gun in my mouth.
- 2:22:18Let me tell you about the time when you know what I mean.
- 2:22:20Like when I went to this crazy party, Let me tell you about the
- 2:22:23time I got in a fight, right? I I I have a lot of not Internet
- 2:22:27stuff that's actually entertaining to listen to.
- 2:22:31Go off, Queen. I could Ethan Ralph on a show
- 2:22:35all day. Wow.
- 2:22:36The other thing too is I could. I could also.
- 2:22:39Like, I could also name drop actual celebrities I've met.
- 2:22:44Even outside politics. Yeah, same, same, but I have to
- 2:22:48like. The other thing is I'm limited
- 2:22:50on a lot of them because of NDA's and shit.
- 2:22:53Well, yeah, there's that also, though, like also though I just.
- 2:23:00I don't. And any celebrity that I've
- 2:23:02named, it's because I can. But there are some that I can't.
- 2:23:07Well, also though too, like there are some, like celebrities
- 2:23:12are actual people too. And like they tend to get
- 2:23:17annoyed. They like, obviously I'm not
- 2:23:20gonna, I'm not gonna name drop it like I actually, I actually
- 2:23:24didn't meet someone who actually was like wow, you actually like
- 2:23:27asked me like a question about me.
- 2:23:30And not that, like you know, the thing that I'm known for and I
- 2:23:34and I really appreciate that, it's it's interesting because
- 2:23:36like when you're on kind of an inside like that and make no
- 2:23:40mistake, I'm not saying I was a big shot.
- 2:23:42I was a go bot. My job was to basically fucking
- 2:23:46hound dog the fuck out of celebrities.
- 2:23:47If you don't know what that means.
- 2:23:48Kiss. Kiss their ass.
- 2:23:50Yeah, right. My job was to fucking.
- 2:23:54When the car comes, my job is to step in the back seat so the
- 2:23:57celebrity can have the front. My job is to fucking walk in
- 2:24:00front of him so if anybody's throwing shit, I'm going to get
- 2:24:03hit with it. My job is run to the fucking car
- 2:24:05and get my cell phone because I forgot it.
- 2:24:07My job is that I'm that guy. I'm not trying to say I'm a big
- 2:24:11shutter important, just just to clarify.
- 2:24:14You're the you're the Gopher, pretty much, yeah.
- 2:24:17Gobots. That's like a industry term.
- 2:24:19Gobots. Because go get this, go get
- 2:24:21that. Or.
- 2:24:23But it's more than just a Gopher, cause a Gopher might get
- 2:24:25you coffee. That's part of the job.
- 2:24:28But a Gopher isn't there to take a bullet for you.
- 2:24:30You know what I mean? So we're Gobots anyway, That was
- 2:24:34fine by me. I had no problem with that.
- 2:24:36But The thing is, is when you hang out with the celebrities
- 2:24:39day in and day out, you're working this show.
- 2:24:41Now you're in charge of this guy, 'cause there'd be a
- 2:24:44different guy all the time, a different celebrity all the
- 2:24:46time. And you're supposed to take them
- 2:24:48out on the town, hang out with their entourage and and blend
- 2:24:51in, right? They Everybody who does this
- 2:24:59kind of job knows celebrities are people.
- 2:25:02But it is weird talking to the general public because they
- 2:25:05don't, they don't look at it the same way.
- 2:25:08Yeah, you know, but it but it is.
- 2:25:11It's like for me, none of this was a big deal.
- 2:25:13But I do, you know, I'm fucking not autistic enough to fucking
- 2:25:16not realize that They don't make good stories, they make great
- 2:25:19stories, You know what I mean? But I never considered that a
- 2:25:23big deal for most of my interactions with celebrities,
- 2:25:26cause most of them were fucking boring.
- 2:25:29Hey, what's up? Nice to meet you.
- 2:25:31Hey, can you go get me a coffee? That's not a story I tell.
- 2:25:35Right? Let me think.
- 2:25:37How many people did that exact thing?
- 2:25:38Like, fucking most of them. It was like, hey, can you grab
- 2:25:43me a coffee? Hey, could you go roll up the
- 2:25:46windows in my fucking car? Whatever, right.
- 2:25:48Just stupid shit. I, Rose, don't make good
- 2:25:51stories. Yeah, I mean, I know, I know a
- 2:25:56guy who claims these that he once smoked like cigarettes with
- 2:26:01Keanu Reeves once. I've certainly smoked cigarettes
- 2:26:06with and given cigarettes to a lot of famous people.
- 2:26:10I'm sure that was the one go bot that smoked right?
- 2:26:13And they see me up on my smoke break and they'd be like, hey,
- 2:26:16can I bum one? I've I've given cigarettes to
- 2:26:20some people I could name. I've that a lot of people I
- 2:26:23couldn't. But of course they don't
- 2:26:24Remember Me. I'm just the guy that gave me a
- 2:26:27cigarette, right? Right.
- 2:26:30They they've probably got thousands of that.
- 2:26:35So it helps to keep that in your mind.
- 2:26:40Like just 'cause I'm hanging out with famous people, I'm not, and
- 2:26:44nobody knows who I am and nobody actually cares about my story.
- 2:26:49Like, they they care about like a story is entertaining, so to
- 2:26:52speak, but they don't really care, 'cause it didn't happen to
- 2:26:55them. They didn't mean to fuck a
- 2:26:57person. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:26:59And that and that's and that's the other reason why I don't
- 2:27:02name drop. You know to some people take
- 2:27:06that shit serious. They're like, I need to meet
- 2:27:08such and such. I was like, I don't know, I've
- 2:27:11probably met such and such. I've certainly if such and such
- 2:27:14is in the music industry, the gods are pretty good.
- 2:27:18Yeah. Anyway, though, you've got your
- 2:27:24Halloween show, you know, I I guess we'll have more details on
- 2:27:31all of them. I'll definitely retweet it.
- 2:27:35Well, I'm going to put together a flyer, but the details are
- 2:27:38such. I'm going to play some fucking
- 2:27:40old wicked underground horror rap, some crazy metal and punk
- 2:27:44shit. Just the most wicked, violent,
- 2:27:48obscene, absurd fucking music I can fucking get my hands on.
- 2:27:52And if anybody knows where to find all that shit, it's me.
- 2:27:56That's like my style. Bass and we're just going to
- 2:28:01talk spooky stories. I have some spooky stories too.
- 2:28:04I grew up in historic fucking southern Massachusetts.
- 2:28:08There are stories about the towns I grew up in.
- 2:28:11I've had some spooky as shit myself.
- 2:28:14Although I'm a skeptic. I can certainly explain some of
- 2:28:16that and will on the show because it's for Halloween.
- 2:28:20But mostly we're just going to kick it old school style.
- 2:28:23Wicked fresh flavor for all the people down to hear some fresh
- 2:28:302000 mid 2000s fucking radio goodness uncensored with the
- 2:28:35most vile fucking music you could imagine.
- 2:28:39Nice. Yeah.
- 2:28:41Pussies. Get the fuck out.
- 2:28:43This is a wicked shit for the wickedness of the wicked.
- 2:28:49Awesome, but all I have to promo other than the show is bought by
- 2:28:57book finishing the second one. And yeah, buy 2.
- 2:29:03Buy 2, Give one to somebody. Buy 5 There you go.
- 2:29:09Buy Five Buy 5000. Yeah, but there's no upper limit
- 2:29:17to this. We could just.
- 2:29:17Keep going if you, I mean if you're if, here's the thing, if
- 2:29:23you're in any bookstore and you want me to do like a signing.
- 2:29:28Buy a bunch of copies and you know, fly me out to wherever and
- 2:29:33I'll I'll, I'll do a signing. Meet a real cripple.
- 2:29:42Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because there are there are
- 2:29:45enough cripples in Florida, so today only meet a cripple.
- 2:29:55Meet a cripple and buy his book. So, alrighty.
- 2:30:00Well, this has been fun, folks. We'll see you next time on the
- 2:30:05show. Until then, Halloween.
- 2:30:08Night. Go do something and you know,
- 2:30:14keep your head down boys. Oh wait, no, it's the first so
- 2:30:18it will be after Halloween. Oh.
- 2:30:21Oh, oh. See you in.
- 2:30:23See you in November then, folks. God damn, I was going to wear
- 2:30:28face paint for Halloween. I I could have sworn Halloween
- 2:30:32was a Wednesday. That's my fault.
- 2:30:36I should have worn face paint tonight.
- 2:30:38Well, think. Well, thank God you didn't wear
- 2:30:41black face, because then we really would be cancelled.
- 2:30:46That's what I'm doing next year. Oh shit, So wear.
- 2:30:50Black. Yeah, well, yo-yo yo-yo yo-yo
- 2:30:52yo. MC Max is in in the house.
- 2:31:00That's going to get clipped for sure.
- 2:31:04Bass clip it. Toilet flush.
- 2:31:13I need that as a sound bite. That's why I was like, send me
- 2:31:16that clip. Toilet flush.
- 2:31:18I'm put on my soundboard. Every time we talk about Marsh,
- 2:31:21I'm toilet. Flush.
