Transcript
- 0:01We see many examples through time of individuals who began a
- 0:05spiritual quest with good intention and would later come
- 0:10to grief, as they got caught up in the snares of what SRI
- 0:14aurobindo calls the intermediate Zone.
- 0:18When we leave behind the Safety and Security of the external
- 0:22Consciousness and it's grounded physical reality and enter into
- 0:28a world filled with vital forces, pressures, inner
- 0:32thoughts and drives, it becomes difficult to sort out.
- 0:36What is actually taking place. The Seeker is allured by the
- 0:41exposure to new powers and forces and may likely have
- 0:45various hidden desires and ambitions.
- 0:48Raised up in fulfilled. If he does not move Beyond this
- 0:52stage, it can be devoured by forces far more powerful than he
- 0:57understands that have their own motivation and which feed on the
- 1:03emotions and experiences of the individual who comes under their
- 1:07control. The intermediate zone is a world
- 1:11of Shifting forces, Illusions pressures, and drives vital
- 1:16enticements and hidden motives that can impact the unsuspecting
- 1:21Seeker, who believes he is making spiritual progress.
- 1:26When in fact, he is being guided or controlled by beings.
- 1:30Native to other Realms. There are cases of possession
- 1:36such as the force that took over and eventually destroy.
- 1:39Roy Dolph Hitler. Who which appeared to be a
- 1:42power-hungry Madness. There are also cases of
- 1:47individuals experiencing rapacious sexual appetites or
- 1:52who have a drive to control the lives of others.
- 1:55Such as we saw with Jim Jones and his Jonestown cult and mass
- 2:00suicide that he initiated among his devotees.
- 2:05The protection as one passes through, this is own, I can come
- 2:10in the form of purification techniques such as the yamas and
- 2:14niyamas has set forth as preliminary practices in Raja
- 2:18yoga. And through transition to the
- 2:21soul Centre, the psychic being which is naturally connected to
- 2:26the Divine and not the ego personality.
- 2:31SRI aurobindo writes, quote. I mean by the intermediate Zone
- 2:36that when the Sadiq gets beyond the barriers of his own
- 2:40embodied, personal mind, he enters into a wide range of
- 2:44experiences which are not the limited solid physical truth of
- 2:48things and not yet. Either the spiritual truth of
- 2:53things it is a Zone a formations mental, vital subtle, physical,
- 3:00and whatever. One forms or is formed by the
- 3:03The forces of these worlds, in US becomes for the Sadiq for a
- 3:08Time, the truth, unless he is guided and listens to his guide
- 3:15afterwards. If he gets through, he discovers
- 3:18what it was and passes on into the subtle truth of things, it
- 3:24is a border land where all the worlds, meet mental, vital
- 3:28subtle, physical pseudo spiritual but there is no order
- 3:32or firm foothold. Hold a passage between the
- 3:36physical and the true spiritual realms.
- 3:41Anyone passing the border of ordinary Consciousness can enter
- 3:44into this intermediate Zone? If he does not take care to
- 3:49enter into the psychic in itself, there is no harm in
- 3:53passing through. Provided one.
- 3:56Does not stop there but ego sex ambition, Etc.
- 4:03If they get exaggerated, can easily lead to a dangerous
- 4:08downfall. And quote, reference SRI
