- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to game debut.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Patrick Claybahn back here with Greg Roseendal and Cynthia Freeland.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Week fifteen is here.
- 0:17Speaker 3: We had a great slate last week, Greg, we got
- 0:20Speaker 3: a great slate.
- 0:20Speaker 4: This week we do.
- 0:21Speaker 5: This is officially the Stretch Up Stretch. We're branding it.
- 0:24Speaker 5: No more bye weeks, no teams with different records, and
- 0:28Speaker 5: especially this week, like a lot of the top teams
- 0:30Speaker 5: playing each other.
- 0:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, we have so many division rivals playing
- 0:33Speaker 6: even in the early window on Sunday, there's three pivotal
- 0:35Speaker 6: matchups for seating, playoff, all of the things, first order
- 0:39Speaker 6: playoff things.
- 0:40Speaker 7: It's awesome.
- 0:41Speaker 3: We love the division rivalries, but can we spread them
- 0:45Speaker 3: out a little bit. It's kind of jam packed towards
- 0:47Speaker 3: the end of the season. If I'm talking to you
- 0:48Speaker 3: schedule makers who I know are watching us intently right now,
- 0:52Speaker 3: speaking of you know, schedules and games and all that.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I was able to extend the lead somehow in.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Our Pigs contest, Goingrea eight and six, three games ahead
- 1:01Speaker 3: of Cynthia. But Cynthia Freeland is inevitable and Greg Rosendal
- 1:05Speaker 3: is decided to climb up the rankings.
- 1:08Speaker 4: No, not this year.
- 1:09Speaker 2: They're of the crown, reluctantly, none of our arching yet.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Falla's talk some ball here.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Back in Week five, the upstart Patriots, at the time
- 1:17Speaker 3: sitting at two and two, met up with the four
- 1:19Speaker 3: and zero juggernaut Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football, tied
- 1:22Speaker 3: at twenty with the round two minutes remaining, Drake May
- 1:25Speaker 3: led the Patriots right down the field of connect with
- 1:27Speaker 3: Stefan Digs for twelve yards, then Kishon Booty for another
- 1:31Speaker 3: nineteen or the first down A few plays later, andres
- 1:34Speaker 3: borgallis now the fifty two yard game winner to stun
- 1:37Speaker 3: all of those folks in Buffalo who have been plotting
- 1:40Speaker 3: revenge all season long. It's worth mentioning that Sean McDermott
- 1:45Speaker 3: squad did have three turnovers, a couple of them really
- 1:47Speaker 3: rough in that Week five loss, and Sunday we get
- 1:50Speaker 3: that rematch.
- 1:50Speaker 2: New England eleven and two can clinch the AFC.
- 1:53Speaker 3: East with a win. Buffalo currently the sixth seed. Do
- 1:55Speaker 3: the Patriots sweep the season series against the Bills.
- 1:59Speaker 7: They do.
- 2:00Speaker 6: I have a one point win for New England twenty
- 2:02Speaker 6: six to twenty five. I'm looking at this matchup and
- 2:05Speaker 6: by the way, I have the Bills ending up in
- 2:07Speaker 6: the five sets, so all is not lost because they'll
- 2:10Speaker 6: probably get to play the Steelers anyways, it doesn't really
- 2:12Speaker 6: matter about that necessarily. But what does matter in this matchup, Well,
- 2:16Speaker 6: it's Drake May of course.
- 2:18Speaker 7: Obviously.
- 2:18Speaker 6: When you look at the deep passing situation, you're like, oh,
- 2:21Speaker 6: I remember Christian Benford.
- 2:23Speaker 7: He has two scores.
- 2:25Speaker 6: And two games now and the lowest passer rating allowed
- 2:27Speaker 6: in coverage and like a really long time. And I'm like, yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 6: But there are other parts to that defense to target.
- 2:33Speaker 6: And if you're looking at the deep pass where Drake
- 2:36Speaker 6: May has been incredibly efficient, like over a one and
- 2:39Speaker 6: a quarter epa per deep pass attempt, which is a massive,
- 2:43Speaker 6: massive number, that is where they can succeed, just maybe.
- 2:47Speaker 7: Not into the coverage of Christian Benford.
- 2:49Speaker 6: So the deep pass and a kind of sneaky stat
- 2:52Speaker 6: where Buffalo allows those deep passes to connect, that is
- 2:55Speaker 6: the difference maker.
- 2:56Speaker 7: There's volatility in this game.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Volatility means fun for fans, but meaning there could be
- 3:01Speaker 6: turnovers too.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I've also got a slim Patriots, but a two point
- 3:04Speaker 3: win twenty six to twenty four, because we saw it
- 3:07Speaker 3: in the highlights that something was talking about.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But this deep passing game.
- 3:10Speaker 3: The Patriots have guys who made plays on those balls
- 3:13Speaker 3: thrown in every direction by drag may not just deep.
- 3:16Speaker 2: The Buffalo Bills could use some help.
- 3:18Speaker 3: In that capacity if you want to talk about Bills
- 3:21Speaker 3: receivers with less than a yard of separation making plays
- 3:24Speaker 3: on the ball. The leading guys Josh Palmer this season
- 3:28Speaker 3: with three OO elsewhere the team, and I know Khalilsa
- 3:32Speaker 3: here had a great one on what was the quite
- 3:34Speaker 3: essential Josh Allen play where he ran around, made a
- 3:36Speaker 3: bunch of guys miss, and then fired a ball into
- 3:38Speaker 3: a holeless size of a football. The rest of the
- 3:42Speaker 3: team hasn't really done that, and I think it's relying
- 3:44Speaker 3: on Josh Allen obviously a little too much.
- 3:46Speaker 2: It's going to be too much again on Sunday.
- 3:48Speaker 5: How dare you question the rest of the Buffalo Bills.
- 3:51Speaker 4: This is a.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Championship team year after year in the afcast. They took
- 3:55Speaker 5: that title from the Patriots, and they're going to try
- 3:58Speaker 5: to take it back. Yes, I'm picking the Bills I'm
- 4:00Speaker 5: going against my Patriots. We're just gregging it up here
- 4:03Speaker 5: in week Fife because of this man, Josh Allen. You
- 4:06Speaker 5: say he doesn't have any weapons. Well, first of all,
- 4:08Speaker 5: khaliols Sekire is awesome, Dalton Kincaid is back. It's a
- 4:12Speaker 5: great three tight end group. It's a great offensive line
- 4:16Speaker 5: going up against a defensive line that's a little banged up,
- 4:19Speaker 5: possibly without Harold Landry, definitely without Milton Williams. And the
- 4:24Speaker 5: number one thing is the success rate on Josh Allen
- 4:27Speaker 5: runs in the month of December is one billion percent.
- 4:31Speaker 5: I just think this is a guy who when he
- 4:33Speaker 5: plays his best, he tends to go on a streak
- 4:36Speaker 5: of playing his best and that was one of the
- 4:37Speaker 5: best Josh Allen games of all time last week. I
- 4:40Speaker 5: think he carries himself in the Spills team to a
- 4:42Speaker 5: win and they just split. That's what happens among good
- 4:44Speaker 5: two teams.
- 4:45Speaker 4: They split.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Well.
- 4:46Speaker 3: The Patriots currently the number two seed in the AFC.
- 4:48Speaker 3: They're looking up at the Denver Broncos who won ten straight,
- 4:51Speaker 3: but they've got a match up with the feisty Packers
- 4:53Speaker 3: team on Sunday.
- 4:55Speaker 2: They get motion to the tight end of the line,
- 4:57Speaker 2: take the swift, big legging. Let Williams looking flints.
- 5:04Speaker 4: A late being in oception bodka shot.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Next, sim Panter is your dagger, Henna.
- 5:12Speaker 7: Lambeau leaf to the south ten zone.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Stands twenty two seconds to go. Then the Packers tmhung on.
- 5:20Speaker 3: The Packers playing the top spot in NFC North with
- 5:23Speaker 3: their win over the Bears. They're heading to Denver to
- 5:25Speaker 3: take on the AFC's one seed, the Broncos.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It's a heavyweight fight. But who's standing at the end
- 5:30Speaker 2: of it, Cynthia.
- 5:31Speaker 6: So you're saying that the Broncos are not favored at home,
- 5:35Speaker 6: I am saying that, yes, interesting, my model doesn't agree.
- 5:38Speaker 6: I have Denver winning this one twenty one to twenty.
- 5:41Speaker 6: I know that there's a lot of great things I
- 5:43Speaker 6: could say about the Denver defense, and I think I've
- 5:45Speaker 6: said like a lot of them throughout the course of
- 5:46Speaker 6: the season.
- 5:47Speaker 7: But I want to talk about RJ. Harvey because this O.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Line combined with a dynamic rookie and how he stepped
- 5:53Speaker 6: up in JK. Dobbins's behest after he got injured has
- 5:56Speaker 6: been really interesting. We know that there are a lot
- 5:58Speaker 6: of shorter passes. I'm pretty sure someone else is going
- 6:01Speaker 6: to talk about that.
- 6:02Speaker 7: But the way RJ.
- 6:03Speaker 6: Harvey has take get a hold of this offense and
- 6:05Speaker 6: being able to help this quarterback escape sacked. We know
- 6:09Speaker 6: Sean Payton does not like his quarterback to be sacked.
- 6:11Speaker 6: I don't know if you've heard that anywhere before, but
- 6:13Speaker 6: you know he said it over and over and over again.
- 6:15Speaker 7: But it's true. And part of that is getting RJ.
- 6:17Speaker 6: Harvey into the spots to succeed, to get them those
- 6:20Speaker 6: first and four. It doesn't need to look great, No,
- 6:21Speaker 6: Jeff Hafley defenses don't give up las of but four
- 6:24Speaker 6: yards on first down. That is sexy right there, and
- 6:27Speaker 6: it also leads them to win.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, we just have to I have the beholder because
- 6:31Speaker 3: you know it can be sexy.
- 6:32Speaker 7: I think it's great.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It'd be fun. Two great defenses. I think it's a
- 6:36Speaker 3: bit of a rock fight. I'm gonna take the twenty
- 6:38Speaker 3: twenty five Broncos in a rock fight. Every single time
- 6:41Speaker 3: a one point Broncos win, because yeah, Sean Payton doesn't
- 6:44Speaker 3: like his quarterback does not. One thing that you can
- 6:47Speaker 3: do is get the ball out of his hands. Very tough,
- 6:49Speaker 3: and the screen game. The only player with more screen
- 6:52Speaker 3: completions in the league this year than bow Knicks is
- 6:55Speaker 3: Patrick Mahomes. He's got four hundred and eleven yards on
- 6:58Speaker 3: screens this season, and they can work them to slow
- 7:00Speaker 3: down that pass rush on their way to a one
- 7:03Speaker 3: point win and take this win stread to eleven games.
- 7:07Speaker 4: So you're gonna give me the favorite.
- 7:09Speaker 5: You're gonna give me Jordan Love, one of the best
- 7:12Speaker 5: quarterbacks in the league against bo Nicks.
- 7:14Speaker 4: It's just Greg number two.
- 7:16Speaker 7: There we go, both time game favorites.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Let's do it.
- 7:19Speaker 5: This Packers seem is one of the best in the
- 7:21Speaker 5: entire NFL right now. I'm putting them right there with
- 7:23Speaker 5: the Rams and the Seahawks. I don't think the top
- 7:25Speaker 5: of the AFC, which includes the Broncos, is in the
- 7:28Speaker 5: same category as the top of the NFC. And it's
- 7:31Speaker 5: partly because of this guy, Kristin Watson. I don't know
- 7:34Speaker 5: what he did after that ACL surgery, but he came
- 7:36Speaker 5: back as explosive, maybe even more explosive, certainly more productive.
- 7:41Speaker 5: He's got seven touchdowns, He's got as many deep catches
- 7:45Speaker 5: as anyone in the NFL since he returned, tied with
- 7:49Speaker 5: CD Lamb.
- 7:50Speaker 4: And I think this is a defense.
- 7:52Speaker 5: They can take advantage of everyone not named Patrick Sirtan,
- 7:55Speaker 5: and that's you Riley Moss. So Christian Watson on Riley Moss,
- 7:58Speaker 5: I think the Packers get the wins, but he's not
- 8:03Speaker 5: Patrick Sirtanus to getting targeted catches.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Another target from Greg Rosenthal. Here the Packers and Broncos
- 8:09Speaker 3: have some history. Denver beat Green Bay way back.
- 8:11Speaker 2: What's that long ago Super Bowl thirty two? You know
- 8:13Speaker 2: who els has some beef. Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Here's the quarterback comparison since twenty twenty one in terms
- 8:20Speaker 3: of the winning lost head to head in favor of
- 8:23Speaker 3: Jared Goff, the at points per game in favor of
- 8:25Speaker 3: Matthew Stafford, Passing yards going Stafford's way.
- 8:28Speaker 2: But the lasting memory I'll have.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Is you're good enough for Detroit Jared from his head
- 8:33Speaker 3: coach Dan Campbell. As we look back, Stafford didn't get
- 8:38Speaker 3: the win in the Super Bowl in his first year
- 8:39Speaker 3: with the Rams.
- 8:40Speaker 2: So there's that.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Sunday we get part four of the Golf Stafford Trade Bowl.
- 8:44Speaker 3: The Lions need a win to stay in the playoff hunt.
- 8:46Speaker 3: The Rams can clinch a postseason berth with a win.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Do they get it great they do because the Rams
- 8:52Speaker 5: lost the last two times these two teams wait because
- 8:55Speaker 5: the whole team wasn't as good. But now Matthew Stafford
- 8:59Speaker 5: is not the whole thing. It's also about the defense
- 9:01Speaker 5: and the pass rush. Especially think back to week one
- 9:05Speaker 5: of a couple of years ago when they last played.
- 9:07Speaker 5: We didn't even know how good Jared Versus was gonna
- 9:09Speaker 5: be or Braydon Fist. You're looking at Byron Young, who
- 9:12Speaker 5: is having a breakout season as a totally complete pass
- 9:15Speaker 5: rusher and run stopper. You have Kobe Turner up front,
- 9:18Speaker 5: so we know that Jared Goff does not like pressure
- 9:21Speaker 5: what quarterback does, and ultimately I expect that Jared Goff
- 9:26Speaker 5: will be under a lot more pressure on Sunday than
- 9:29Speaker 5: Matthew Stafford because these two teams are not even even
- 9:32Speaker 5: if the quarterbacks were, the Rams pass rush gets home.
- 9:36Speaker 6: I agree with you on the winner. I think your
- 9:38Speaker 6: margin's a little too big. I have a three point win,
- 9:40Speaker 6: twenty seven to twenty four. I mean, let's just make
- 9:42Speaker 6: it two points. After seeing that horrible music video, we're
- 9:45Speaker 6: better than just good enough for Detroit.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Jared Goff my god.
- 9:49Speaker 6: Anyways, I want to talk about Blake Korham, although I'm
- 9:53Speaker 6: now angry about the Jared Goff slander. If all of
- 9:56Speaker 6: the directional schools of Michigan can chant your name, you
- 9:58Speaker 6: are good enough for the whole state of Michigan and
- 10:00Speaker 6: probably the whole country. Anyways, we're not gonna talk about anymore.
- 10:03Speaker 6: We're talking about bla who comes from the University of Michigan.
- 10:06Speaker 7: Great week for them.
- 10:06Speaker 6: By the way, But ultimately, Blake Cooram is a new
- 10:09Speaker 6: wrinkle and fold in this offense that perhaps is one
- 10:13Speaker 6: of the things that they don't know so much about
- 10:15Speaker 6: each other. Blake korm is extremely explosive. They found really
- 10:18Speaker 6: interesting ways to use him. There's a lot of familiarity
- 10:21Speaker 6: between these two teams, considering they don't play very often.
- 10:24Speaker 6: But Blakekoram could have a nice upside to a run
- 10:27Speaker 6: defense that has been very, very stingy. This could be
- 10:30Speaker 6: one thing where they find just those wrinkles unfolds and
- 10:33Speaker 6: figure out just a new way to get a first down.
- 10:35Speaker 3: And now we have an interesting opportunity for Lions fans
- 10:38Speaker 3: to take a picture of the screen, because I'm also
- 10:40Speaker 3: taking the rams and meme us away. I don't want
- 10:43Speaker 3: to in this memes Cynthia in the picture because that's gonna.
- 10:45Speaker 5: That's that's more likely to have a picture taken.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what I got a one point win.
- 10:52Speaker 7: No, I don't want to be a part of.
- 10:53Speaker 3: The Yes Walker it is pukin Akola is the reason
- 10:57Speaker 3: that I am taking the Los Angeles rems.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Have you've seen what I know?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Jamior Gibbs has been lighting the league on fire, especially
- 11:02Speaker 3: a game against the Giants up Pooka these nast few weeks.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Has been catching everything. You have that great one hander
- 11:08Speaker 3: in Charlotte with the Rams lost, but that's gonna be
- 11:11Speaker 3: the lasting memory of that game for me.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Two touchdowns against the Cardinals.
- 11:14Speaker 3: He averages one hundred and eight yards a game in
- 11:17Speaker 3: his career against the Lions in his career. Kind of
- 11:20Speaker 3: coinciding with the lines being good. Kirby has banged up
- 11:23Speaker 3: no more branch the rest of the year in the secondary.
- 11:27Speaker 3: So yeah, it's Ramley across the.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Board for us. It's tough for who's eaten good?
- 11:31Speaker 3: Presented by Applebee's Cynthia, which quarterback in the game is
- 11:35Speaker 3: more likely to throw for over two sixty jg or
- 11:38Speaker 3: Matthew Staff.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Your probable MVP. Matthew Stafford is the answer to this one.
- 11:44Speaker 6: You've talked about it. There's no Brian Branch problem. Terry
- 11:48Speaker 6: on Arnold, where are you? You just had surgery today?
- 11:50Speaker 6: Hope went a little buddy, but not on the field.
- 11:53Speaker 6: This is not great. You know, we saw a lot
- 11:55Speaker 6: of DPI like there's just it's just not a good
- 11:58Speaker 6: situation for the legion of whom it's going to be
- 12:01Speaker 6: a big advantage for Poka Nakua and all the past
- 12:04Speaker 6: catchers for Matthew Stafford.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Time for Seas this season presented by Caesar Sportsbook, as
- 12:09Speaker 3: we look at the first touchdown score odds between the
- 12:12Speaker 3: Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. Somehow Dereck Henry ahead of
- 12:16Speaker 3: Jamar Chase in this one, as Chase Brown, Mark Andrews,
- 12:20Speaker 3: and Zay Flowers round out that top group of players.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Let's discuss this matchup if more.
- 12:26Speaker 3: The Bengals took it to the Ravens on Thanksgiving, winning
- 12:28Speaker 3: thirty two to fourteen. The Ravens can stop turning the
- 12:31Speaker 3: ball over and Joe Burrow's return was great. I think
- 12:34Speaker 3: the Ravens win it this time around a score of
- 12:36Speaker 3: twenty nine to twenty eight. Not having a pass rush
- 12:39Speaker 3: is a definite issue against Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
- 12:42Speaker 3: But Lamar Jackson appears to be moving a bit better,
- 12:46Speaker 3: so we can add some points. How do they do
- 12:48Speaker 3: that with the issues they've had upfront? They could just
- 12:51Speaker 3: run play action. He's completed eighty point three percent of
- 12:55Speaker 3: his passes while the Ravens were running play action.
- 12:57Speaker 2: It seems like some of the.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Guys upfront might better be better at pass blocking when
- 13:01Speaker 3: they're pretending to run block. He's only trailer Sam Donald
- 13:05Speaker 3: and yards per attempt when they run play action. I'm
- 13:07Speaker 3: just perhaps on wishcasting a particular direction that they could
- 13:10Speaker 3: go to win this game.
- 13:11Speaker 2: But I do have them winning it by one point.
- 13:14Speaker 5: I have the Ravens winning by three points, and I
- 13:17Speaker 5: think it's going to be a score fest. I don't
- 13:19Speaker 5: feel good about either one of these teams right now.
- 13:21Speaker 5: I think Joe Burrow is going to play well in
- 13:23Speaker 5: this game, because when you watch what he did last
- 13:25Speaker 5: week in the Snow, he was disappointed because of how
- 13:28Speaker 5: it ended with a couple of turnovers. Ones on a
- 13:30Speaker 5: tip pass one is just a ridiculous play by Christian Bedford.
- 13:33Speaker 5: But he was playing incredible football. I can't tell you
- 13:37Speaker 5: how many highly difficult throw and catch us. Yeah, that
- 13:41Speaker 5: throw to Chase Brown was incredible, and his receivers are
- 13:43Speaker 5: coming through for him.
- 13:44Speaker 4: It's like they're playing even better. We don't know about T.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Higgins's status in this game, but the vibes are down
- 13:50Speaker 5: horrendous in Baltimore, and I just don't feel good about
- 13:53Speaker 5: either of these teams. But I do feel good just
- 13:54Speaker 5: about points. I don't trust ultimately in the defenses. I
- 13:57Speaker 5: trust more in the quarterback. So I think lots of points,
- 14:00Speaker 5: and ultimately I think these two teams deserve to split.
- 14:03Speaker 4: So the ultimate Baltimore gets the win.
- 14:05Speaker 6: I agree with you on points, but way do you
- 14:07Speaker 6: see how unsure I am about points. I have Baltimore
- 14:10Speaker 6: winning by two, maybe the most annoying one anyways, but
- 14:13Speaker 6: that's the most annoying score. But Derrick Henry is the
- 14:16Speaker 6: difference maker. I was a round surprise Chase Brown wasn't
- 14:19Speaker 6: the highest first touchdown score odds. That was interesting to me.
- 14:22Speaker 6: But Derrick Henry on outside run, specifically against this defense.
- 14:26Speaker 6: This is where this defense has been extremely vulnerable week
- 14:31Speaker 6: in and week out. I'm not saying there's a lot
- 14:33Speaker 6: of bright spots in the Bengals defense. I'm not saying
- 14:35Speaker 6: you can't pass on them. I'm saying do the thing
- 14:38Speaker 6: where you're not going to turn the ball over.
- 14:39Speaker 7: You know what that is? Twenty two end zone. Just
- 14:41Speaker 7: have him run.
- 14:42Speaker 6: So I'm looking at Derrick Henry in this situation and
- 14:45Speaker 6: I'm saying, I do understand why he had the highest
- 14:47Speaker 6: odds for the first touchdown. I think it's Chase Brown,
- 14:49Speaker 6: but I think he gets a second touchdown.
- 14:51Speaker 3: How about that Steelers handed the Ravens last week a
- 14:55Speaker 3: big loss to claim the top spot in the AFC North.
- 14:57Speaker 3: They're playing host to the Dolphins on Monday night. The
- 14:59Speaker 3: Fins have won four in a row. They technically still
- 15:02Speaker 3: have a shot at the playoffs. Who wins this game
- 15:05Speaker 3: as the Fins try to sneak their way in.
- 15:07Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that they do actually end up winning,
- 15:10Speaker 6: just by one point. Twenty two to twenty one is
- 15:14Speaker 6: where the model nets out because Devon E.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Chan is likely, you know, healthy enough to.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Be able to be his effective and efficient self. The
- 15:22Speaker 6: offense has weird metrics. Jalen Model has been good, but
- 15:26Speaker 6: Devon A Chan he has been the rudder.
- 15:29Speaker 7: He has been the.
- 15:29Speaker 6: Reason that this team is navigating these waters of wins
- 15:34Speaker 6: when it started off looking pretty terribly. When you look
- 15:36Speaker 6: at his ability to accelerate, what's the balls in his hands?
- 15:38Speaker 6: When you look at his fatigue even in the cold,
- 15:41Speaker 6: you know, you look and start to see those it
- 15:42Speaker 6: doesn't matter Devon a chan for a million to the moon.
- 15:45Speaker 6: That's the difference maker for me in this one.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't made an even bigger difference because I've
- 15:49Speaker 3: got a bigger.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Fins win twenty three to eighteen.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Because I'm looking back at Aaron Rodgers completing all these
- 15:54Speaker 3: deep passes, three of them with twenty or more are yards.
- 15:56Speaker 2: He was oh for November throwing the.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Ball deep none zero in the entire month until they
- 16:03Speaker 3: played the Baltimore Ravens. Now, it's a defense that has
- 16:05Speaker 3: a bit of a better pass rush, but Finn Flitz
- 16:07Speaker 3: at a higher rate. They generally have a higher pressure
- 16:10Speaker 3: percentage other than Baltimore, And so the Rogers revival was
- 16:15Speaker 3: discount double checking, and folks would think about it was
- 16:18Speaker 3: because the ad campaign ended, No, because he didn't have
- 16:21Speaker 3: any rushing touchdowns.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Its back in twenty twenty two.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I think the Finns get enough pressure to get a
- 16:27Speaker 3: win here and inside track for the Baltimore Ravens in
- 16:29Speaker 3: a big game for them.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Great.
- 16:30Speaker 5: Wow, such a doubter, such a hater of an all
- 16:33Speaker 5: time great like Aaron Rodgers. I believe the Steelers are
- 16:36Speaker 5: gonna win this game strongly, twenty three to twenty two.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Give it to me. It's a field goal.
- 16:42Speaker 7: That's three.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Now, that's three for three.
- 16:44Speaker 5: They're all favored. What I started the week down nine,
- 16:48Speaker 5: make it six. Steelers aren't gonna let Miami get back
- 16:52Speaker 5: into the playoff run.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Why?
- 16:54Speaker 5: Because Aaron Rodgers is coming off his best game since
- 16:57Speaker 5: he was a member of the Green Bay Packers.
- 16:58Speaker 4: I don't think that's even a question.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Yeah, no, maybe even better than any game in twenty
- 17:02Speaker 5: twenty two.
- 17:03Speaker 4: He was awesome last week.
- 17:05Speaker 5: There's something about this Dolphins four game winning streak that
- 17:07Speaker 5: I just it's two blots in the.
- 17:11Speaker 7: Division the Jets last week.
- 17:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm stupid.
- 17:14Speaker 5: Uh, it's two blots in the division and then two
- 17:17Speaker 5: games against bad teams that came down to the final player.
- 17:19Speaker 5: I don't know what Mike Tomlin is doing. He's just
- 17:21Speaker 5: got voodoo. But Aaron Rodgers coming off his best game.
- 17:24Speaker 5: They find a way to get a win.
- 17:26Speaker 2: That's a great club.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Hurts in the shotgun. A touchdown would win it for
- 17:32Speaker 4: the Eagles.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Kerts pulls it Broze intercepted game over. Intercepted Game over
- 17:41Speaker 1: dayon Henley Game Over.
- 17:44Speaker 4: The fourth interception Tony Jefferson.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Unbelievable ump does it? The bowl always finds Tony Jefferson.
- 17:54Speaker 1: It was tipped to him.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Unbelievable way to end this game.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Times for the Reid presented by Microsoft Microsoft Copolo AI
- 18:04Speaker 3: CampaignOn for NFL Game Day and every Day.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Lots of star players on both sides.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Of the ball, and a rematch between two teams we
- 18:11Speaker 3: saw week one in Brazil. Justin Herbert's legs helped get
- 18:14Speaker 3: the better of KC in the first game. A couple
- 18:16Speaker 3: of potential Hall of famers on the defensive side of
- 18:19Speaker 3: the ball, highlighted by Cope Pilot in a huge game
- 18:22Speaker 3: in the AFC West. We'll dive more into this Chargers
- 18:26Speaker 3: Chiefs matchup. A must win for KC, whose playoff dreams
- 18:30Speaker 3: are on life support. Do Herbal and the Bolts deliver
- 18:33Speaker 3: the knockout blow to KC.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Cynthia Nope, Oh.
- 18:36Speaker 6: I you know I feel great about this again. Twenty
- 18:39Speaker 6: four to nineteen Kansas City. I would love to know
- 18:41Speaker 6: my record without Kansas City in it this year. You
- 18:45Speaker 6: need to help me out here, Chiefs. The model loves you,
- 18:49Speaker 6: The model says that your metrics are good.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Doesn't lev you back.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Nope, I'm getting no love, absolutely none. But their defense
- 18:55Speaker 6: has been when I go back and look through, like
- 18:57Speaker 6: what's gone wrong. We know about the offense, got it,
- 19:00Speaker 6: we know about the oline, got it, But inconsistencies on
- 19:03Speaker 6: the defense are.
- 19:04Speaker 7: Really what is hammering me this year.
- 19:07Speaker 6: We saw about I don't know twelve total minutes in
- 19:10Speaker 6: the second half of last week where the defense looked
- 19:11Speaker 6: like the defense that we thought and now Trent McDuffie
- 19:14Speaker 6: then gets hurt Retrow so I have them winning. I'm
- 19:19Speaker 6: going to see their defense hopefully play the way that
- 19:22Speaker 6: we imagined. But I will say it does help that
- 19:24Speaker 6: the Eagles got after Justin Herbert on sixty eight percent
- 19:27Speaker 6: of his dropbacks last week. Meeting pressure could happen, That's
- 19:30Speaker 6: how they would have.
- 19:30Speaker 4: To do it.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I can guarantee you're not going to pick up a
- 19:32Speaker 3: game on me here because I'm also taking this and
- 19:35Speaker 3: I want to get there.
- 19:35Speaker 7: She makes me feel better.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, give some people some insight into this pick, because
- 19:39Speaker 3: coming into our meeting today, I had the Chargers winning
- 19:42Speaker 3: this game. I was listedly going, why don't you go
- 19:44Speaker 3: ahead and look at the video Khalil Mack who had
- 19:46Speaker 3: eight pressures in the season opener. But then I thought
- 19:48Speaker 3: about how constricted the Chargers pass game looked against the Eagles.
- 19:52Speaker 2: How Herbo had that giant padded glove. It's on the road,
- 19:56Speaker 2: it's cold.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Eventually Casey is going to actually catch the ball.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I'll take the Chiefs set home here.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Rick, hate that you did that.
- 20:05Speaker 5: You know you're winning this picks competition. Patrick, in large
- 20:09Speaker 5: part because of all the hate in your heart for
- 20:10Speaker 5: this Chiefs team and picking against them all year.
- 20:12Speaker 6: You picked up a game on it right when we
- 20:14Speaker 6: both picked that, we picked you saying you've.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Been picking against them all year. Now you give up
- 20:18Speaker 4: against the Chargers.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I'm just picking better than Greg.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Well that's true, like nine games better both of them,
- 20:25Speaker 5: but it's only gonna be five games better because this
- 20:27Speaker 5: is my fourth.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Just Greg, let's go Chargers win this game.
- 20:31Speaker 5: Let's go back to week one, because sometimes the narrative,
- 20:36Speaker 5: the vibes just the tone for the season is set
- 20:40Speaker 5: early on, and the tone was set that this is
- 20:42Speaker 5: not going to be your normal chief season. That the Chargers,
- 20:45Speaker 5: who's always getting beaten down by this team in the
- 20:48Speaker 5: biggest of spots, actually came through in the fourth quarter.
- 20:51Speaker 5: And that's what kind of team they've been all season.
- 20:53Speaker 5: Both sides of the ball. Chargers defense is playing really
- 20:56Speaker 5: well right now. So it's not just the Chargers offensive
- 20:59Speaker 5: line that could struggle, it's the Chiefs offensive line. And
- 21:02Speaker 5: I think the Chargers defense will be swarm in this game.
- 21:04Speaker 5: And I know Herbert was attacked and brutalized against the Eagles.
- 21:09Speaker 5: The Chiefs don't have that kind of defense. I really
- 21:10Speaker 5: do think Chargers win this game. I love them to
- 21:13Speaker 5: cover that five and a half too.
- 21:15Speaker 2: We just want you to be okay.
- 21:16Speaker 7: I know it's.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Stop proticking the ball with it.
- 21:20Speaker 3: The Chargers of the Chiefs expected to be one of
- 21:22Speaker 3: the lowest scoring games of the week, according to Caesars.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Let's take a look at the other ones.
- 21:27Speaker 3: The Raiders and the Eagles at thirty eight and a half, Browns,
- 21:29Speaker 3: Bears at thirty nine, Panthers and Saints getting forty and
- 21:33Speaker 3: a half points.
- 21:33Speaker 2: These the rest of the expected low scoring games.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Let's get to the two minute drill presented by the
- 21:38Speaker 3: Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card as weenis a quick
- 21:41Speaker 3: picks here.
- 21:42Speaker 2: On game debut the Raiders of the Eagles.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Maybe Raiders fans will provide Birds fans with some perspectives.
- 21:47Speaker 2: As Phillies dropped three straight. There's no way it goes
- 21:50Speaker 2: to four.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Rightw There is no way. In fact, I think everyone's
- 21:53Speaker 5: going to be partying. I have the score thirty seven
- 21:55Speaker 5: to twelve. Canny Pickett revenge game. Give me a break.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Going back to Philadelphia, let's talk about the defense for Philadelphia.
- 22:02Speaker 5: It's at that game pretty crazy to say the safety
- 22:06Speaker 5: Cooper Dezene was as electric as any player on the field.
- 22:10Speaker 5: But getting to watch the live all twenty two up
- 22:13Speaker 5: in section I think it was three twenty five or something.
- 22:16Speaker 5: This guy is like he moves in a way that
- 22:19Speaker 5: I've almost never seen a safety movie.
- 22:21Speaker 4: He's one of the best young safeties.
- 22:22Speaker 5: I've ever seen, and he's paired with one of the
- 22:24Speaker 5: best cornerbacks in the league, Quinion Mitchell.
- 22:26Speaker 4: What a duo the Eagles has.
- 22:27Speaker 6: I liked his celebration the thumbs down. The thumbs down
- 22:31Speaker 6: was honestly probably my favorite.
- 22:33Speaker 3: You have to have a signature celebration in the league
- 22:35Speaker 3: at this point, let's go to the Commanders and Giants.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Jane Daniels unfortunately out for Washington. Marcus Morooda will start
- 22:41Speaker 3: and I will roll solo here with the Washington Commanders.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I've got them winning. I've got way too many one
- 22:45Speaker 3: point games here this week to nineteen. I think Marcus
- 22:48Speaker 3: Mariota has played well. I think he's played well enough
- 22:51Speaker 3: this season to beat a team like the Giants. And
- 22:52Speaker 3: the Giants have been grinding all week, making sure to
- 22:55Speaker 3: let everyone know that one day Brian Cox got upset
- 22:58Speaker 3: about seating arrangements on the plane and nothing else. The
- 23:01Speaker 3: source provided all kinds of context about seating all the plane,
- 23:05Speaker 3: but no other details about any other potential issues with
- 23:08Speaker 3: Brian Cox and the Giants. And so that has made
- 23:12Speaker 3: me decide that I'm going to pick the Losington Commanders
- 23:14Speaker 3: a week after they cant beat thirty one to nothing,
- 23:17Speaker 3: because first there's something going on, something going on in
- 23:23Speaker 3: East Brothers. But Jackard, Yeah, the Panthers and the Saints
- 23:26Speaker 3: in New Orleans, Carolina coming off there by can still
- 23:29Speaker 3: win the NFC South. Does Dave Canalasis team take care
- 23:31Speaker 3: of business or.
- 23:32Speaker 7: Something they do. I have a four point win, poor
- 23:35Speaker 7: Carolina twenty four to twenty.
- 23:37Speaker 6: I just want to give a little love to brace
- 23:39Speaker 6: Young because last year was weird.
- 23:42Speaker 7: This year they've come so far.
- 23:44Speaker 6: It is week fifteen and we are talking about them
- 23:47Speaker 6: potentially being able to win the division.
- 23:49Speaker 7: So Brace Young, congratulations. It's mental fortitude.
- 23:53Speaker 6: It's a lot of taking crap from people on TV
- 23:57Speaker 6: who talk about nonsense like us, and you know what,
- 24:01Speaker 6: he has risen above it. So I'm just pretty impressed
- 24:04Speaker 6: to see what I'm seeing from him and Tidero McMillan
- 24:07Speaker 6: of course like all of these pieces, but I don't know.
- 24:09Speaker 6: I just feel like Brayce Young people last year are like,
- 24:11Speaker 6: I don't know if he's good or not, but you
- 24:12Speaker 6: know what turns.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Out, It's done all of it with a big smile
- 24:16Speaker 2: on his face. As well. The Bears and Browns.
- 24:18Speaker 3: At Soldier Field, it's supposedly ten degrees of this game,
- 24:21Speaker 3: the Chicago bounce backround.
- 24:22Speaker 5: I do think they bounce back. I think they have
- 24:24Speaker 5: the ground game to get it done against this good
- 24:26Speaker 5: Brown defense. But Shader Sanders is who I'm watching in
- 24:29Speaker 5: this game, he's really played well for a Day three pick,
- 24:33Speaker 5: and I think this next month against good competition like
- 24:36Speaker 5: the Bear is going to be interesting. If he plays
- 24:39Speaker 5: the way he has so far, I think he's going
- 24:41Speaker 5: to get another year to potentially be their starting quarterback
- 24:45Speaker 5: while they try to improve the rest of the roster.
- 24:47Speaker 5: So it is very valuable to have a cost controlled
- 24:51Speaker 5: quarterback that maybe he's a bridge quarterback, maybe he's the future,
- 24:54Speaker 5: maybe he's just right at that level, like like a
- 24:57Speaker 5: Derek Carr Teddy Bridgewater type. That would be a major
- 25:00Speaker 5: fine for a late round pick. So let's see if
- 25:02Speaker 5: he continues his development against the Bears. Fourth and goal
- 25:06Speaker 5: from the two, Hawkinson emotion to the right, McCarthy back
- 25:09Speaker 5: to pass, basketball right hot TJ.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Bounce us off coming to touchdown.
- 25:17Speaker 6: J J.
- 25:18Speaker 7: Hawkinson with a tough guy touchdown and the Vikings lead
- 25:23Speaker 7: thirty zero.
- 25:26Speaker 3: It's signed for once ahead present of my credit one Bank.
- 25:29Speaker 3: JJ McCarthy threw three touchdowns and a shutout win against
- 25:32Speaker 3: the Commanders last week. Now the Vikings going to Dallas
- 25:34Speaker 3: for some Sunday night football. The Cowboys remain in the
- 25:38Speaker 3: playoff hunt, albeit very slim hopes but they are in there, Cynthia,
- 25:42Speaker 3: do they get a win that they need?
- 25:43Speaker 7: They do get the win that they need.
- 25:45Speaker 6: Twenty eight to twenty one is what I have in
- 25:47Speaker 6: this one, because we know Brian Flores, He's gonna blitz
- 25:51Speaker 6: spoiler alert, and you know what happens when you blitz
- 25:53Speaker 6: Dak Prescott. Bad things se your defense, connecting with receivers.
- 25:57Speaker 7: You know, you even get a little Javonte Williams action
- 25:59Speaker 7: in here.
- 25:59Speaker 6: If you're a fantasy manager looking to win your playoff game,
- 26:03Speaker 6: think you can fully play.
- 26:05Speaker 7: Javonte Williams as well.
- 26:06Speaker 6: But when I'm looking at Dak Prescott's ability to not
- 26:09Speaker 6: just navigate but dice up any sort of blitz you
- 26:11Speaker 6: want to give him, and we're talking all of the
- 26:13Speaker 6: different types of blitzes, you just don't want to do
- 26:15Speaker 6: it to him. And I don't think they have another
- 26:17Speaker 6: trick in their book to generate pressure against Prescott other
- 26:21Speaker 6: than blitzing, which is clearly what they do.
- 26:23Speaker 3: There was a particular trick that the Cowboys had in
- 26:26Speaker 3: the books to generate pressure.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Goes back in week eleven. They went up.
- 26:30Speaker 3: To the Jets and they ate Williams, and that helps
- 26:33Speaker 3: generating pressure especially where they need to against jaj McCarthy
- 26:36Speaker 3: up the middle. I have got the Cowboys winning this
- 26:38Speaker 3: twenty six to eighteen because Quinn Williams in the first
- 26:43Speaker 3: few weeks weeks one through eight, he didn't have any
- 26:47Speaker 3: games where he generated five or more pressures.
- 26:49Speaker 2: He's done that in every single game that he has
- 26:52Speaker 2: had a star on his helmet.
- 26:53Speaker 3: He's been a star for the Dallas Cowboys, and I
- 26:55Speaker 3: think he powers them to a.
- 26:56Speaker 5: Winning a great I agree. I think it'll be closer
- 26:59Speaker 5: than the number. So I have the vikings competing in
- 27:02Speaker 5: this game. He's a talented roster and I think you saw
- 27:04Speaker 5: that last week. And ultimately JJ McCarthy played his best
- 27:09Speaker 5: game of the season a week ago. So let's just
- 27:11Speaker 5: hope for better things for a young quarterback who had
- 27:14Speaker 5: a couple of nice throws on these deep outs. He
- 27:17Speaker 5: had that fourth down play to Hockinson.
- 27:19Speaker 4: It wasn't a.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Lot of like second third reads, but they simplified the offense.
- 27:24Speaker 4: According to Kevin O'Connor.
- 27:25Speaker 5: O'Connell and like, maybe they should have done that sooner
- 27:28Speaker 5: because all that matters is being effective.
- 27:31Speaker 4: You don't have to have.
- 27:31Speaker 5: All like of your fancy stuff where you're expecting him
- 27:34Speaker 5: to be Kirk Cousins.
- 27:35Speaker 7: I think that's the lying liar who lie thinks. I mean,
- 27:37Speaker 7: what are you supposed to say?
- 27:38Speaker 6: We just did the same thing and got a different result.
- 27:40Speaker 6: Like people were like, well, how does that work? We
- 27:43Speaker 6: made it work complex, Like, I think that's just a
- 27:45Speaker 6: coach some coach speak for you. You know, we simplified, We
- 27:48Speaker 6: went back to basics. You know, we just did football things.
- 27:51Speaker 6: He made a football he's a football guy. He's got
- 27:53Speaker 6: a football heart. He's a football guy.
- 27:55Speaker 5: Whatever it is, nine is making it happen.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Yeah, get back.
- 28:00Speaker 1: On.
- 28:00Speaker 3: The Cowboys need a win to stay in the playoff picture.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Let's take a look at all the team currently on
- 28:04Speaker 3: the fringe when it comes to the postseason.
- 28:07Speaker 2: There's a few of them.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Because as lot's back at the bottom of the AFC,
- 28:12Speaker 3: you've got three six and seven teams. The Cowboys tie
- 28:15Speaker 3: with the Packers and made things chaotic down there's the
- 28:18Speaker 3: bottom of the NFC, but those teams have hope as well.
- 28:21Speaker 2: So it's time for the playoff push. Let's discuss some
- 28:23Speaker 2: of these.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Fringe teams, whether or not we think they're gonna be
- 28:27Speaker 3: playing ball in the postseason.
- 28:28Speaker 2: We've got the assistance of the foam fingers with that.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Will start with my beloved Baltimore Ravens. Right now. They
- 28:33Speaker 2: are on the outs. They've got the number nine seed.
- 28:35Speaker 3: They've got games with the Bengals, the Patriots, the Packers,
- 28:38Speaker 3: and the Steelers coming up.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Cynthia not feeling it. Greg wasn't either.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I talked him into it because I've got the Baltimore
- 28:45Speaker 3: Ravens going into the playoffs. Who want to know what
- 28:46Speaker 3: the path is? They get to win this week, a
- 28:48Speaker 3: Steelers lost this week, or a loss against the Lions. Essentially,
- 28:53Speaker 3: what the Ravens are going to do is win one game,
- 28:56Speaker 3: beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, and have the Steelers lose one
- 28:59Speaker 3: of those games and they get in.
- 29:00Speaker 4: And why do I.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Think they'll beat the Steelers Because in some universes they
- 29:05Speaker 3: did beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, Like this could have been
- 29:07Speaker 3: a touchdown, There could have been a field goal instead
- 29:09Speaker 3: of a touchdown. I think Ravens are a better team
- 29:13Speaker 3: than the Steelers. What about the Kansas City Chiefs. Though
- 29:15Speaker 3: they've made the playoff ten years in a row, they're
- 29:18Speaker 3: six and seven.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Do they make the postseason? Great?
- 29:21Speaker 5: If you had asked this even a week ago, I
- 29:22Speaker 5: might have said yes, but we got to say no
- 29:24Speaker 5: at some point. Let's give up the ghosts. How many
- 29:26Speaker 5: different Uh, the Chiefs are finally done. Games are gonna
- 29:29Speaker 5: need to have till we believe it. The offense just
- 29:31Speaker 5: hasn't been the same, and I know some of the
- 29:34Speaker 5: underlying numbers are solid, but late and close they have
- 29:39Speaker 5: not been great. And Patrick Mahomes, who I think was
- 29:41Speaker 5: playing outstanding football in the first half of the season,
- 29:44Speaker 5: hasn't played as well recently. His completion percentage over expected
- 29:49Speaker 5: is twenty seven in the NFL. I think that's a
- 29:52Speaker 5: receiver in an offensive stat too, where the guys aren't
- 29:55Speaker 5: necessary in the place that he expects. It's a lot
- 29:58Speaker 5: of drops and it's just an offense that can't get
- 30:02Speaker 5: it going. And they have a very tough schedule down
- 30:04Speaker 5: the stretch with Chargers and Broncos coming up.
- 30:07Speaker 3: All right, last one, the Lions would miss the playoffs
- 30:09Speaker 3: if they started today. They've got games with the Rams, Steelers,
- 30:12Speaker 3: Vikings and Bears coming up.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Will the Lions fond away inside?
- 30:16Speaker 6: I think we are seeing Game two seventy two will
- 30:19Speaker 6: be the Lions and Bears and it's going to be
- 30:21Speaker 6: a doozy for everyone involved. I'm looking at this team
- 30:25Speaker 6: and I'm saying, Jamiir Gibbs, thank goodness, you're as good
- 30:29Speaker 6: as you are. Jamiir Gibbs. Maybe you are the best
- 30:32Speaker 6: running back this season. Jamir Gibbs number zero. That's my
- 30:36Speaker 6: only problem with him is I don't know if it's
- 30:38Speaker 6: a number or not. I have a lot of conflicting
- 30:40Speaker 6: thoughts on that.
- 30:40Speaker 7: I don't care. I'm not conflicted about how.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Well he's been playing and that ability to run and
- 30:44Speaker 6: navigate any sort of defensive woes that could happen, any
- 30:47Speaker 6: sort of offensive line woes. You said it before, Jared
- 30:50Speaker 6: Goff doesn't like pressure. No quarterback does, but Jared Goff
- 30:53Speaker 6: especially doesn't like pressure and outside.
- 30:55Speaker 7: Because they'd have to go out.
- 30:56Speaker 6: So anyways, long story short, I do think that the
- 30:59Speaker 6: Lions get in by the tiniest of margins, and I'm
- 31:02Speaker 6: gonna have a.
- 31:02Speaker 7: Heart attack for the next month.
- 31:03Speaker 5: So some of my favorite hobbies literary fiction.
- 31:07Speaker 4: Love that.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Yes, I'm searching for my tortoise in the backyard.
- 31:10Speaker 4: Love that. Also, China to.
- 31:12Speaker 7: Be able to find that tortoise quickly.
- 31:14Speaker 5: It's not easy. She digs a whole It's a whole thing.
- 31:17Speaker 4: What Yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 5: The third hobby is figuring out what the Sunday Night
- 31:21Speaker 5: Week eighteen game.
- 31:22Speaker 7: Is gonna be every year seventy two.
- 31:25Speaker 5: I do think it's gonna be Lions Nags.
- 31:27Speaker 6: Game two is seventy two, and I'm gonna be a
- 31:28Speaker 6: wreck under some covers watching.
- 31:31Speaker 7: With just my little eyes peeking out like this. It's
- 31:33Speaker 7: gonna tear.
- 31:34Speaker 5: It's gonna be a playing game. Winnard goes in. It's
- 31:37Speaker 5: like an early playoff game. I'm keeping an eye on
- 31:39Speaker 5: forty nine ers Seahawks.
- 31:41Speaker 2: That could no, it's it's Dan Campbell, It's the Lions
- 31:44Speaker 2: once again.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Folks coming up, Philip Rivers Folks has ten kids, is
- 31:47Speaker 3: a literal grandfather. His oldest child, Holly is is older
- 31:51Speaker 3: than Riley Leonard. He hasn't played since twenty twenty. Philip
- 31:54Speaker 3: has and he's forty four years old. The veteran gunslinger.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Can he be the savior for the Indianapolis Colts? Are
- 32:00Speaker 3: thoughts coming up next?
- 32:12Speaker 7: Hey, Greg, you killing play with eleven? Greg, don't dance
- 32:15Speaker 7: with him? Running over then keep your body in there.
- 32:17Speaker 7: You weren't even.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Close to making that point.
- 32:19Speaker 7: We'll stop him twice. That gum it, hey poach kick
- 32:22Speaker 7: right around you.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Not nine hi?
- 32:23Speaker 7: Hey, oh honey, oh what.
- 32:28Speaker 5: O that baby?
- 32:30Speaker 2: Oh lee?
- 32:31Speaker 4: Uh oh?
- 32:31Speaker 7: Suit?
- 32:32Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, suit do you Aggervaci stue out of me?
- 32:36Speaker 7: Sheesh, That's what I'm talking about.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Heck you whoa, It's out for the field.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Good Story of the Week presented by Geico. After a
- 32:46Speaker 3: rough story when Daniel Jones went to IR ending his season,
- 32:49Speaker 3: the Colts got Philip Rivers off the couchable, off the
- 32:52Speaker 3: coaching sideline to come out of retirement. The team signed
- 32:54Speaker 3: the forty four year old former Colts quarterback to the
- 32:57Speaker 3: practice squad on Tuesday. He last played back in twenty twenty,
- 33:02Speaker 3: where he led the Colts to eleven wins and a
- 33:04Speaker 3: spot in the playoffs. Rivers and eight time Pro bowler,
- 33:07Speaker 3: recently became a grandfather and good play. The Colts have
- 33:13Speaker 3: the Seahawks on Sunday at eight and five, Indies sitting
- 33:16Speaker 3: just outside the wild card in the AFC. Could Philip
- 33:19Speaker 3: Rivers saved the season and get a dub for Indie grad.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Yes not this week, but yes in future weeks. And
- 33:25Speaker 5: by the way, he has a chance to play Philip
- 33:27Speaker 5: Rivers playing this game. There's no way they're bringing in
- 33:30Speaker 5: Philip Rivers. And let's throw it all the way back
- 33:32Speaker 5: to twenty sixteen. I have the Seahawks winning, but the
- 33:35Speaker 5: Rivers gets.
- 33:36Speaker 2: The stund definition.
- 33:39Speaker 5: It's an SD. This is Christmas Eve, two thousand and six.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Rivers goes into Seattle. It's actually his first season as
- 33:48Speaker 5: a starter, and he lights up the scoreboard. To Vincent Jackson,
- 33:52Speaker 5: if it was a badass Chargers team, he was good
- 33:55Speaker 5: from the jump his first season as a starter. He
- 33:58Speaker 5: was one of the best starters in the league, and
- 33:59Speaker 5: he stayed that his whole career.
- 34:01Speaker 4: So yes, he's playing in this game.
- 34:03Speaker 5: You think Brett rip gonna get Hall of Fame consideration
- 34:06Speaker 5: someday or Riley Leonard, please, you might as well be
- 34:09Speaker 5: Riley Leonard's grandfather, Like it's not happening.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Rivers is gonna save this season.
- 34:12Speaker 6: Okay, So, first of all, forty four is a young grandfather, Like,
- 34:16Speaker 6: can we just all agree on this. Tom Brady played
- 34:18Speaker 6: older than Philip Rivers, so it's fun to say, like
- 34:21Speaker 6: the old head thing, but like it's whatever. Seattle wins
- 34:24Speaker 6: this game. Two scores twenty eight to fourteen. Love Philip Rivers,
- 34:27Speaker 6: but you're telling me all this chemistry comes back and
- 34:31Speaker 6: I don't know from a Tuesday to a Sunday.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Okay, you know it's the offense.
- 34:36Speaker 7: Nick even Warre.
- 34:36Speaker 6: You think this guy who's gonna win the Defensive Rookie
- 34:39Speaker 6: of the Year, you think.
- 34:40Speaker 7: He gives one crap about Philip Rivers. Maybe the trash talking,
- 34:45Speaker 7: maybe that part, but no, I'm looking at it. Nick.
- 34:47Speaker 6: I just really wanted to point out that Nicki iman
- 34:48Speaker 6: Ware should be your defensive Rookie of the Year. And
- 34:50Speaker 6: I think it's gonna show its selpier in this game
- 34:53Speaker 6: and how well the Seahawks defense is able to navigate
- 34:56Speaker 6: this change like it's fun. I love the story, don't
- 34:59Speaker 6: get me wrong, But I also don't want to see
- 35:00Speaker 6: him get hurt, like I don't like you if you
- 35:03Speaker 6: haven't played in five years like you're on the that
- 35:05Speaker 6: just I don't know. More injuries, please, I'm done with
- 35:08Speaker 6: the injury.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Peel Rivers, who famously played in an AFC Championship game
- 35:11Speaker 3: with the touring ACL I've done to that Seahawks win
- 35:15Speaker 3: now twenty eight to seventeen. It's not the Rivers of
- 35:17Speaker 3: it all again, Like Cynthia and Greg. I hope he's okay.
- 35:20Speaker 3: He has gone up against the defense. Do just featured
- 35:22Speaker 3: Nicky Man worry also Leonard Williams and I know the
- 35:25Speaker 3: defensive lineman. Everybody wants to know the sack number. He
- 35:28Speaker 3: does have seven sacks this season. But the interior has
- 35:30Speaker 3: been so good. Opposing running backs have had three yards
- 35:34Speaker 3: after contact per carry.
- 35:35Speaker 2: It's the eighth lowest mark in the league.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Out they're only missing tackles on twenty point two percent
- 35:41Speaker 3: of the rushing attempts this season. So back to back
- 35:44Speaker 3: weeks where Jonathan Taylor is gonna need to carry the team.
- 35:47Speaker 3: I guess the defense is very good at stopping the run.
- 35:50Speaker 3: I think the Colt slide continues. Yeah, Tom for quick
- 35:54Speaker 3: picks here on game debuts Cardinals and Texans down in Houston.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Houston's won four straight, including last week on the road
- 36:00Speaker 3: in KC.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Did they make it five.
- 36:04Speaker 6: Twenty seven to fourteen? My models pretty conservative at thirteen
- 36:06Speaker 6: point win. That's a that's a big number in this matchup.
- 36:10Speaker 6: I mean, when I'm looking at the opportunity here to
- 36:13Speaker 6: see the passing game improved. So what I've seen is
- 36:16Speaker 6: if you want to look at Nico Collins and say,
- 36:18Speaker 6: I don't know what kind of year he's had. Okay, cool,
- 36:20Speaker 6: Look at the numbers, six hundred and forty five yards
- 36:23Speaker 6: on deep a downfield passing attempts. He's third in the
- 36:26Speaker 6: NFL in that Mark Jackson Smith and.
- 36:28Speaker 7: Jiglo leads it, but third. That's really good.
- 36:30Speaker 6: And quietly on those ten plus air yarders, he's been
- 36:33Speaker 6: really masterable.
- 36:34Speaker 7: I think this is the game where we start to
- 36:35Speaker 7: see that edge up.
- 36:36Speaker 6: And up and up, propelling the Texans to win the division.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Love it all right?
- 36:42Speaker 3: Winning the division A team down in Doomble would like
- 36:45Speaker 3: to try to say, that's about that. Jacksonville's one four straight, Greg,
- 36:48Speaker 3: You enjoy picking the Jets here in twenty twenty five.
- 36:51Speaker 5: The Jets not this much, okay, And that's why I'm
- 36:54Speaker 5: trailing in the pace because of the Jets.
- 36:56Speaker 6: Your your's a Jet, You're a Juggernaut. The Jets of
- 36:59Speaker 6: the Chiefs have done me dirty. The Jets have done
- 37:01Speaker 6: you dirty.
- 37:01Speaker 2: One of those things, not like the over the Jets.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Yeah, he's done in the entire you know, Tri state
- 37:06Speaker 5: area dirty for a decade. You know who isn't doing
- 37:10Speaker 5: anyone dirty? It's Brian Thomas Jr. You might think that
- 37:12Speaker 5: Jacobe Myers was the biggest acquisition of the season for
- 37:16Speaker 5: the Jaguars. That's wrong, because the Jaguars last week acquired
- 37:19Speaker 5: twenty twenty four Brian Thomas Jor.
- 37:22Speaker 4: He looked like his own self.
- 37:23Speaker 5: He was awesome a week ago, and that's going to
- 37:25Speaker 5: be huge for them down the stretch.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Let's go to the Titans and the Niners San fran
- 37:28Speaker 3: coming off the bye week Tennessee thresh off of a
- 37:30Speaker 3: win where none of us picked them, by the way,
- 37:33Speaker 3: their second hand win of the year.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I like the Niners though.
- 37:35Speaker 7: He's starting to get the start. I love it, starting
- 37:38Speaker 7: to pick it up.
- 37:39Speaker 2: We love it.
- 37:39Speaker 3: It's honestly, you know, congratulations the Tights. My score is
- 37:42Speaker 3: closer than y'all's, maybe reflecting some latent belief in cam
- 37:46Speaker 3: warden company with the real belief as in Christian McCaffery.
- 37:49Speaker 3: You want to compare receiving just receiving seasons, you have
- 37:52Speaker 3: to go back to two thousand and two too, or
- 37:55Speaker 3: ninety four and ninety five. Jerry Rice eighty five receptions
- 37:59Speaker 3: through thirteen games. That's what he's doing just as a receiver.
- 38:03Speaker 3: I know, I joke about out the MVP conversation, but no,
- 38:06Speaker 3: this is what else does he need to do?
- 38:09Speaker 2: The whole team was hurt.
- 38:09Speaker 7: And he's carrying him on their back literally when.
- 38:12Speaker 2: We come back.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Greg's seven week player prop hot streak camp a halt
- 38:16Speaker 3: due to injury last Sunday. But like a wise philosopher
- 38:20Speaker 3: and the band Semi Sonic once said, every new beginning
- 38:24Speaker 3: comes from.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Some other people. Get our favorite prop bets were coming
- 38:28Speaker 2: up next on campaign.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Look forward to prop bets some of for writing this
- 38:39Speaker 3: down as we get to our favorite prop predictions for
- 38:42Speaker 3: week fifteen, Greg, we need you to heat back up again,
- 38:45Speaker 3: start us.
- 38:46Speaker 5: Out, and I feel great about my guy, Woody Marx
- 38:48Speaker 5: going back to the well in a matchup where this
- 38:50Speaker 5: Cardinals defense, especially on the.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Ground, has been awful lately.
- 38:54Speaker 5: The Texans running game getting better, Woody Marks getting most
- 38:57Speaker 5: of the carries with Nick Chubb banged up, so look
- 38:59Speaker 5: for him to go over seventy five and a half
- 39:01Speaker 5: and I'm giving you a bonus write this down. I'm
- 39:03Speaker 5: gonna get it right. Forty nine ers over twenty nine
- 39:06Speaker 5: and a half. This officially counts I'm going two and out.
- 39:09Speaker 5: Oh ontay nine ers team total over twenty nine and
- 39:11Speaker 5: a half.
- 39:11Speaker 7: Okay, well, Patrick Mahomes hasn't been so ragement while his
- 39:14Speaker 7: team hasn't, But Patrick has.
- 39:16Speaker 6: I think he's going to rush for at least twenty
- 39:18Speaker 6: two yards against the Charges on Sunday.
- 39:20Speaker 7: The Charges are vulnerable on the ground.
- 39:21Speaker 6: Patrick Mahomes in must win situations, he uses his legs.
- 39:25Speaker 7: I'm not worried about the injury.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I am going to the New York Giants.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Well, their opponent this week, Terry McLaurin going over fifty
- 39:32Speaker 3: nine and a half receiving yards because once again.
- 39:35Speaker 2: The sources and East Brother are talking about seating charts
- 39:39Speaker 2: and no other context.
- 39:40Speaker 3: That's leading me to pick against them, and Terry McLaurin
- 39:43Speaker 3: to have over fifty nine because besides all that.
- 39:46Speaker 2: He's a good football team.
- 39:47Speaker 7: Well, WHICHUL we switch to our seating chart? What do
- 39:49Speaker 7: you think? Yes, we switched next time. Then that's how
- 39:51Speaker 7: you know things are.
- 39:52Speaker 5: I will not be back this next week unless I
- 39:54Speaker 5: can be over there and show off my sneakers.
- 39:56Speaker 2: It's all that, nothing else. Thanks for watching game debut.
- 39:59Speaker 3: We'll see you back here next week, probably sitting in
- 40:01Speaker 3: the same places.
