Ep.218 – Slop Cinema, Netflix & Letterboxd, and the Emmy Nominations
After a week off we are back with a new episode for our dear listeners.
This week, we're talking about Moana, Masters of the Universe, Supergirl, and a lot of other films that just seem to be phoned in, and as a result do not seem to connect with the audience.
Also, a few large companies are discussing the purchase of our beloved Letterboxd. What would it mean for the platform if it's bought by the likes of Netflix or Sony?
And, as happens every year, the Emmy nominations were announced, and Josh and Willis, honestly, don't have that many thoughts.
