- 0:31SPEAKER_03: Um my co-host is in New Jersey right now.
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: So, Joey, you just got me, babe.
- 0:36SPEAKER_03: Are you okay with that?
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: I'm glad.
- 0:38SPEAKER_03: Fabulous, because I'm your favorite anyway.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: So I have a special guest.
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: Oh my God, that's right.
- 0:45SPEAKER_03: I have a special guest that dates back to how old was I in fifth grade?
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: 12?
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: How old are you now?
- 0:52SPEAKER_02: 45.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: Do the math.
- 0:57SPEAKER_03: You're Asian.
- 0:59SPEAKER_03: Korean.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: Something.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: Korean.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: My math scores were terrible.
- 1:04SPEAKER_03: Mine were too.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: Um you were very young.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: You were in fifth grade.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: When you tried out for suburban.
- 1:11SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:12SPEAKER_03: Basketball.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: You made the team.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: And the fact that when we had the uniforms all set up and all that stuff, all laid out, you picked my number.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: So I was automatically.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: And not to mention you were our best set shooter.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Oh, thanks, Joey.
- 1:30SPEAKER_01: My three guard.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're the you're the shooter.
- 1:33SPEAKER_03: Which is so wild.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: So you coached me with Aaron.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 1:38SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: That's so weird.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: So fifth and sixth grade, right?
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: It wasn't Frankie LaCapra.
- 1:43SPEAKER_03: I thought so.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Oh no, well, it was Aaron.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Aaron first.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: And I think uh your latter years was Frank LaCapra.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: Which is so wild.
- 1:51SPEAKER_03: So you coached me, then I didn't see you.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: Then I went off to college, came back, and then you were managing Lombardi's.
- 2:01SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 2:02SPEAKER_03: It's like, Joe, will you get me a job?
- 2:04SPEAKER_03: I want to bartend so bad.
- 2:06SPEAKER_03: And you threw me right behind there.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: And I remember uh you were saying that I have no experience bartenders.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: I said, you don't need it because you have the personality being in the bar.
- 2:15SPEAKER_03: You're the only one that believed in me, buddy.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: And then uh also um the fact that whatever you said, oh, we need to hire this person, that person, this person, it was automatic.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Because if it was the same personality, same um uh demeanor as you in the bar industry or restaurant industry, it was perfect.
- 2:36SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 2:36SPEAKER_03: And you had the A squad in Lombardi.
- 2:40SPEAKER_03: The best.
- 2:40SPEAKER_03: The best.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: Me, Diana, Jen, Tara, Amber, Tina, D like.
- 2:46SPEAKER_03: That was the honestly the best crew ever.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: It was.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: It was.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: And I and I think uh uh I'll definitely have to appreciate that.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: Because remember uh back uh back in those days, uh, you know, we used to have to kick people out.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, yeah.
- 2:59SPEAKER_03: Oh, that was so much.
- 3:00SPEAKER_03: It was the best years.
- 3:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah and then I people don't even understand this.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: But after our shift, the only thing that was open was titillations.
- 3:10SPEAKER_03: So like people at like as I got older, when people were like, oh, strip club.
- 3:15SPEAKER_03: I'm like, oh my God, we used to frequent there.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: Like that was a spot you went.
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: And it's so much fun there.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: That definitely opened my eyes with you girls.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: We were on the swing.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: You guys were on on the behind a bar on the stage on the stripper swings.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: So much fun.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: In New York City.
- 3:32SPEAKER_03: Oh my God, that's right.
- 3:32SPEAKER_03: We used to go to Little Italy.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we had the best times.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: Like, honestly, I can't even.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: That's the problem, is you and Al set the bar for employers.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: I just assumed like I I will not work for anyone unless they're as cool.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Like it because it didn't feel like I went to work and I had these mean bosses.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: Like you guys were so cool.
- 3:54SPEAKER_03: I respected the shit out of you guys, worked my butt off, and then we went and partied.
- 3:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:58SPEAKER_03: But it never affected our job.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: We had the best uh time together.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, crew was the best, and Al obviously was a big part of that because he hired all the people.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:08SPEAKER_03: And uh, that was so much fun.
- 4:10SPEAKER_03: We got in trouble.
- 4:11SPEAKER_03: We got in a lot of trouble those years.
- 4:13SPEAKER_03: Um, okay, so after Lombardi's, I moved to Arizona, and then how many years after?
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Well, Michael was a big one.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: When Michael was born, I came out.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Okay, so that was 14 years ago.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Three houses ago, I think.
- 4:26SPEAKER_03: 13 years ago, yeah.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: I think you were living in uh in the same complex with Eileen.
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: The first house when Michael was born, right?
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: By Workimias.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: Like that's Bellamonte.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: I don't recall.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I was around there.
- 4:40SPEAKER_03: Okay, so you came out.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: You loved it, obviously.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: Had you been in Arizona before?
- 4:44SPEAKER_03: Did you come visit Ray Reed?
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: Not Ray Reed, but uh Anthony Fasano.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Fiesta Bowl.
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: So 2006, they were that was when it was over at Glendale.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: I mean not Glendale, I'm sorry.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: Uh ASU.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: ASU first.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: They moved to Fiesta Bowl from there to Glendale.
- 5:05SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: So you came out then.
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: And then what made you decide Arizona?
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: Because it was either Arizona, because your parents, oh, go back.
- 5:15SPEAKER_03: COVID.
- 5:16SPEAKER_03: COVID hit.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: Well working for the C.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: I remember uh coming out here to visit you guys prior, and then our um idiot governor at the time decided either fire uh or he implemented the uh COVID vaccine mandate.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: So quite a few of us was like, you're gonna fire us or make us quit or retire early or retire over a vaccine mandate.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: And COVID turned out to be a farce.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And I don't know Yeah.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: The sheep followed.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: And unfortunately the sheep the retard sheep followed that mandate and uh so that divided obviously a lot of people.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Especially in in Democrat states or counties or whatnot.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: So uh I said, you know, I'm not dealing with this, so I just threw in my papers and I said, I'm done.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: And I knew I was coming out here because from the previous times I was out here.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: It was so fun.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: And you had like an instant family here because you had your Jersey people here.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: Us, Lisa.
- 6:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:25SPEAKER_03: Then you met Kimmy, Alex, like the whole thing.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: And the fact that we're all from Jersey.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:30SPEAKER_03: It just makes it so much better and just more I don't know, it was very comfortable.
- 6:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: Totally easy to just what word am I looking for?
- 6:41SPEAKER_03: Not fit in.
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: I want to say fit in, but that sounds like acclimate, great word.
- 6:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:45SPEAKER_03: It was easy to acclimate when you had your crew here.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Because it was like Because we were all on the same wavelength, same you know, same uh type of personality, same uh jargon.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Because obviously we're a little bit crude.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: I don't want to piss off any of your peeps, but we're a little step ahead of the people out here.
- 7:03SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 7:03SPEAKER_03: From the East Coast, yes.
- 7:05SPEAKER_03: It's great.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Street Smart, common sense, yes, we're fast.
- 7:08SPEAKER_01: Well, common sense is gone, obviously.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: Common sense is gone.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: Ever since, you know, this whole political climate and the whole COVID nonsense.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 7:17SPEAKER_03: But now you're here to stay.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: So here's what um what I originally wanted you on.
- 7:23SPEAKER_03: I really thought of having you come on.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: Because obviously, anyone that knows Johan on social media knows that you don't give a shit what you say, that how you feel politically.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Politically incorrect, blunt indirect.
- 7:41SPEAKER_03: Very much so.
- 7:42SPEAKER_03: And you don't care.
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: And you've gotten put in Facebook jail how many times?
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: Uh I've started, I've opened up five new accounts.
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: I'm up to five.
- 7:53SPEAKER_03: Can you do that?
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: Well, this fifth one, though, is now is just people that I personally know or they're friends with.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: It's so funny.
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: Like uh all these people that are that drop me as a friend, and then I get a re-request from them.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: I'm like, wait a second, I thought I thought we were friends already.
- 8:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: We were friends first.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: They couldn't deal with your political darkness.
- 8:15SPEAKER_03: You well, here's the thing, Joe.
- 8:17SPEAKER_03: You are saying a lot of things that people want to say, but they absolutely will not.
- 8:22SPEAKER_03: Like I I could have opinions, but then I'm like, ugh.
- 8:27SPEAKER_03: I think too much of I'm gonna offend that person.
- 8:30SPEAKER_03: I like that person, but they think that way.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: Like, I I'm too scared to just I don't like any criticism put out.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: Like when someone makes a comment about a post that's negative, even if they're a complete stranger, I'll be hurt for like at least 24 hours.
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: So I can't imagine if I put a political view out, what kind of hate I would get.
- 8:51SPEAKER_03: Do you care if you're not sure?
- 8:52SPEAKER_03: Unfortunately, these days, yeah.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Well, it it doesn't bother me because I'm keeping it real.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: I'm being honest, blunt, direct, and not politically correct.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: So the one downfall that we have, and I've said it since Obama got elected, political correctness is the downfall of the country.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Why are we worried about dumb like, you know, people rail against the one percent wealthy about taxes and all that stuff, but people don't understand.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: All right, the wealthy or the one percent, they pay a lot more than the regular person.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: Middle class, lower class, their percentage is high because they're making a lot more money.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: How do that other side of the party not understand that?
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: So if we're making if we're making fifty thousand and they're making over a million, and our percentage is one percent and they're one percent, who's paying more?
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: The wealthy.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: So they they that mentality is just mind-boggling.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: And it's just nonsensical.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: I and uh the common sense is gone.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: And going back to the whole thing with Obama, he brought in political correctness.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: And people, if they want to debate me, that's fine.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: But it's very simple.
- 10:07SPEAKER_01: The Occupy movement, Black Lives Matter, uh, the war on pigs, uh, what was the other thing that started under him?
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: This all started under him, and people want to blame it on Trump.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: And you know, like I know we wanted to talk about the whole Trump situation.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Like, I wasn't a fan of his.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: It was the first election I sat out.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: I didn't vote in 2016.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: I was a tet I was a Ted Cruz supporter.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: I sat up.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: Obviously, I didn't want Hillary, but the sheep wanted her.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And then you go back to the whole situation where everything every president or c candidate said before Trump, Trump's actually doing.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: You know, like the whole Iran thing or uh immigr illegal immigration, the borders, this and that.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Everyone said stuff that they they want to stop it, but never did it.
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: Trump's doing it and they're mad at him.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: Why is that?
- 11:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: Don't you think though, I mean I've I mean growing up with different presidents and any anytime anyone would bring up politics prior to COVID, I was clueless.
- 11:18SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I have no idea.
- 11:19SPEAKER_03: I don't even understand what's going on.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: I just remember any time news came on that was political, it just looked like a bunch of really old white men that were really old and they were talking in like a l almost like a language that I didn't understand.
- 11:36SPEAKER_03: And it just seemed very above just I had no clue what was going on.
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: So I kind of just, you know what I mean?
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: I just didn't pay attention and just, you know, went on my life and really just if anything was big that happened, I would, you know, I I I knew what was going on.
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: But for the most part, you put on CNN or whatever, like I didn't understand what was going on.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: And I feel like it wasn't until COVID, or maybe it was just social media taking a big stance that just the media and social media uh obviously attributed to the to the downfall of you know, like um the division in the country.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: There's no question about that because what Trump's doing now, he's saying the exact same thing as previous presidents before.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: The same whether you're Republican or Democrat.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: The same exact things.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: And why is he getting vilified?
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:29SPEAKER_03: But I think it goes back, I just think it's we have everyone has so much access.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: Like social media.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: 15, 17, 20, even 30.
- 12:39SPEAKER_03: I was not like if social media wasn't around, like I didn't know anything.
- 12:45SPEAKER_03: It was wasn't unless you put the TV on, right, on channel three or five as a kid was a news on that you could find out.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: And again, I didn't understand what was being said.
- 12:56SPEAKER_03: Or if I opened a newspaper, which I never opened a newspaper, but now eyes are on social media from my daughter's age of nine, probably younger, all the way up.
- 13:06SPEAKER_03: We are fed all this stuff.
- 13:08SPEAKER_03: And it's hard not to stop you right there.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: Because until it happens to you, then you'll probably be more concerned or want to follow it.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: What if you're not going to be able to like uh in terms of let's say uh like 9-11.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: God forbid if you had a family member that I mean, I I knew two good friends that passed away during 9-11.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: So with the whole uh uh uh with George Bush, he went after uh uh who was it, Iraq, right?
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: So the whole deal with that if you had a family member that passed away or died from the bombing of 9-11, you'll be more affected politically than the uh uh than a family member person that wasn't affected at all.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: So that's a perfect um way to uh look at the whole political spectrum of what's going on instead of just reading the newspaper.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: You read the newspaper, if you had you know if you didn't have a family member affected or a friend, yeah, close friend, yeah, you wouldn't think twice.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: Of course not.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: If you had a friend or family member affected, I think it brings you to a different uh level of uh seeing w what actually happened.
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: It might it might uh entice you to be more active in terms of the whole political spectrum or whatever's going on in the world.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: So with this whole Iran situation, every president, candidate, Democrat has said that Iran Iran is the worst.
- 14:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: And then Trump's actually doing something about it, and he's being vilified as the warmonger, right uh uh uh the bad person.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: You know, when when you have the other side supporting terrorists or sympathizing, but your own side said the same thing.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: That the the uh you know we need to deal with the situation.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: He's actually doing it.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: No one has done it before him.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: Was it 47 years or something like that?
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: Goes back to Jimmy Carter days.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, with so that when you look at history, all of a sudden history doesn't exist anymore.
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: It's changed.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's wild.
- 15:33SPEAKER_01: And you're gonna blame Trump over it?
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 15:37SPEAKER_03: Special thank you to Justin Liszt from State Farm.
- 15:40SPEAKER_03: Justin is our sponsor here at Local Legends with Jess and Jay.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: His mission is simple.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: He treats customers like family, provides real solutions, ensures every client feels confident, supported, and genuinely cared for.
- 15:53SPEAKER_03: That level of intention and service is exactly why he's considered one of our favorite local legends here in Arizona.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: We're grateful for the support and proud to highlight Justin and his team for truly making a difference in our community.
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: I just think again, I just go back to the social media, like it, I just never have seen or felt so much a div as you know, a divide as as there is right now.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: And it's like again, even thinking about having someone you on, and then someone completely on the left side sit together.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: Anyone that I brought that up to, they're like, you're nuts.
- 16:31SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, why?
- 16:32SPEAKER_03: I kind of want to see.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: But the thing is, I have great uh friends on the other side.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: But we're in the middle.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 16:40SPEAKER_01: Moderates, not the hard right, hard left.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: So you don't consider yourself hard right?
- 16:44SPEAKER_01: Definitely not hard right.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, I I believe in uh, you know, I'm pro-choice.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, same.
- 16:48SPEAKER_01: And all that stuff.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: And obviously, uh when it comes to the health of the women or the or the baby or all that stuff.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm on that side.
- 16:55SPEAKER_01: But we need to go back to that.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: And the last time that happened was Clinton, President Clinton.
- 17:00SPEAKER_01: And he was the first Democrat president I voted for, his re-election.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: Everything was going well.
- 17:06SPEAKER_01: We were all in the middle.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: After that, so even back with Clinton, all of a sudden what he s uh feels now about Trump.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: Wait a second, when you were president, you agreed with him.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:17SPEAKER_03: So why do you think people are so hateful?
- 17:21SPEAKER_03: Or is it is it is it real, or is it just is it just glorified on social media?
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: Like is it is it's not a good idea.
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: No, it's it's the it's um, you know, uh um the one thing about Trump I'm very happy with.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Um like I said, I wasn't a fan in the beginning.
- 17:38SPEAKER_01: I didn't vote for him.
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: I did vote for his uh the next term, 2020, and his uh and then, you know, his re-election, and then I voted for him the uh the this last cycle.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: What it is about Trump is people have a hard time of I mean he says things the wrong way.
- 18:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah he's not presidential, right?
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: But the thing is, maybe it was time for uh uh someone like that as our president.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like a reality star.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: Well, whatever it was, but the thing is, all the stuff that they're accusing him now, prior to him being president or being elected back in 2016, where were those accusations prior?
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: Racist, misogynist, uh whatever, you know, like uh like what he got indicted on in New York with all those taxes, something paperwork, bank bank work.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: And all the bank executives said that that's that that's not a crime.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: He beat the system in terms of whatever, following the law, but they wanted to get him for it.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:48SPEAKER_01: So the whole Trump factor is prior to him running for president, they could have gotten him on that very same stuff prior.
- 18:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Where was it?
- 18:58SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: It's wild.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: So just think if it just do your research.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: He does stuff uh behind the scenes that no one knows about.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: And they're all positive, but why wasn't it, you know, uh uh viewed or why wasn't a media showing it?
- 19:12SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: It it just it's mind-boggling.
- 19:15SPEAKER_03: Now, what are your thoughts um on the whole California shenanigans right now, right?
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: It's like 2020 all over again.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: Like, what do you think is going on in California?
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: Like, what are people like it is such a beautiful state we didn't go back to COVID?
- 19:30SPEAKER_03: And it's so destroyed with just right?
- 19:34SPEAKER_03: It's just homelessness, crime, mental illness.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Like, what is going on?
- 19:39SPEAKER_01: What party is in control of California?
- 19:41SPEAKER_03: Well, is but is that it?
- 19:43SPEAKER_03: Is that what's going on?
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: Like, so look at all look at all across the country, all the shithole cities.
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: Um But why?
- 19:52SPEAKER_03: What do they get?
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: Like, why would someone with a ton of money, like in a political power stance, want that to be on their streets?
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: Like, why is is that just control?
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I I I don't understand why that's a left thing, that California Well, the whole left thing is um uh the entitlement programs and like catering to the you know, like uh you know how they rail against the 1% wealthy.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Why are we catering to the 1% nonsense?
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 20:24SPEAKER_01: You you're gonna make that a big deal over, you know, the 1% wealthy.
- 20:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, so hypocrisy comes into play.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: So you're taking money from that, you know, you're railing against the 1% wealthy, but it's taking campaign donations from the same very people.
- 20:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: So you uh what you said before, white male and um whatever the situation that's going on in Maine.
- 20:47SPEAKER_01: Nazi tattoo, uh, the same things that they accuse Trump of, this guy that's running in Maine for Senate.
- 20:56SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: He's doing the same exact thing, but they said, Oh, Trump was different, this guy's different, so we're gonna we're still gonna support this guy.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: They're doing the same thing supposedly doing the same thing.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: I mean, if you owned USA Miss U uh what is it, Miss USA or Mrs.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: whatever the beauty patch.
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: Universe or Miss USA, yeah.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: You might be a misogynist, you might be doing stuff.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: But you owned it, you know?
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: But not too many things came out of that whole situation.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: So the media obviously uh comes into play and people people are sheep.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Retar retard sheep.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 21:36SPEAKER_03: So what do you think happens after Trump who gets in?
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Well, now if you're a Republican, forget it.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: They're associating the Republican Party with uh Donald Trump.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: You remember actually this is even better.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: I always thought of this.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: Trump should switch parties and be a Democrat again.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: Remember, you remember he was a Democrat before.
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: He should switch back to the Democrat Party and see what they say.
- 22:03SPEAKER_03: You know what's why why is there parties?
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: Like, why are you why do we have to label ourselves?
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: Like there's no way it's historical, yeah.
- 22:11SPEAKER_03: I guess, but it's old.
- 22:12SPEAKER_03: It's old.
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: It's old, it's dated.
- 22:15SPEAKER_03: Like, why do you have to I there's no way that these Democrats believe everything Democratic, and there's no way that all Republicans were.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: They place their principles is the best way to say it.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: They used to be whatever, but the thing is historically speaking, they they want to erase history and just make things up as they go or change history.
- 22:39SPEAKER_03: And change it.
- 22:40SPEAKER_03: I think change is necessary.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: Change is fine, but the thing is, you know, like when you want to try to change the constitution that's been working for how many years now?
- 22:47SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: It's been working, right?
- 22:50SPEAKER_01: And they want to change it because of Trump.
- 22:52SPEAKER_01: Come on.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: So now any Republican after that, forget it.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: They're done.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: Uh it doesn't matter if the fact that you're affiliated with the Republican Party.
- 23:01SPEAKER_01: In fact, 2016, I switched to independent.
- 23:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, like I like I said, that was the first presidential election I sat out.
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: Now, if I get a real far lefty in here, will you debate?
- 23:16SPEAKER_01: I've of course I will.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: Do you think it'll get heated?
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: It won't get heated because um whatever lefty you get, they won't answer the question.
- 23:26SPEAKER_03: See, that's what I'm really interested in.
- 23:27SPEAKER_01: Especially based on facts.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: Like if you ask a factual question to me.
- 23:31SPEAKER_03: Give me a factual question.
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: Like that I can ask you and someone completely left.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Can men give babies?
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: No.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: They will say what they say.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: You don't see what's going on?
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: No.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: What's going on?
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: Men are allowed to play in girls uh ladies' sports or boys can play in girl sports and all of that.
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: And then now that whole mentality is men can birth babies.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: They put it in you to birth a baby for the women.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Wait, can they put it in a male?
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: Is that a dumb question?
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: In the ass?
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: No, can't they can they can they put it?
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: In their mouth or their ass?
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 24:07SPEAKER_03: No, in your in your stomach.
- 24:09SPEAKER_01: In their ears?
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: No.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: How many more holes do men have?
- 24:15SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, duh.
- 24:16SPEAKER_03: Oh, it has to be in the ass.
- 24:18SPEAKER_03: Belly button?
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: And and birth a child?
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: Can a man carry a baby?
- 24:23SPEAKER_02: No.
- 24:23SPEAKER_02: Are they trying to?
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: Alright, let's go.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: Can we watch Twins?
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Remember that movie?
- 24:33SPEAKER_02: Great movie.
- 24:33SPEAKER_02: Dandy DeVito?
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: And Arnold.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: Arnold.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
- 24:37SPEAKER_02: Don't they have a baby?
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: No.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: That's the mental that people on the left.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: That's the mentality that men can have babies.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: No way.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: Alright.
- 24:49SPEAKER_03: I gotta get a little lefty in here.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: So you have to open up the newspaper again and look at those stories.
- 24:54SPEAKER_03: But are they real?
- 24:55SPEAKER_03: Are those sources real?
- 24:57SPEAKER_03: Like I don't even know what to believe.
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Do your research.
- 25:02SPEAKER_03: But what am I re where are my sources that are whatever social media tells you.
- 25:07SPEAKER_03: Do the opposite.
- 25:08SPEAKER_03: Just the opposite.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: That's what Trump should do.
- 25:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: If the Democrats hate it, he should do it, and then the Democrats are gonna be able to do it.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: I like the idea of him going switching parties to go on the Democratic side and see what people say.
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: That's the one thing I've always said.
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: I think you should send him a message.
- 25:25SPEAKER_01: He should go back to his original party and see what they say.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: And then let's see how they react.
- 25:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:30SPEAKER_03: I just don't think they like him.
- 25:32SPEAKER_03: I just think he comes out.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: Trump is taboo.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: Um I think he's hysterical.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: Besides that, but the thing is, he's actually the one thing about him, he's actually doing stuff or um what he campaigned on, he's actually doing.
- 25:48SPEAKER_01: That's why I grew to love him.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: I like I said, I sat out, I didn't vote for him.
- 25:53SPEAKER_03: He has something to prove.
- 25:54SPEAKER_03: Like if you weren't that he's a good thing.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: He said this way before he even ran for president.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Remember, like him and Oprah were best of friends, and now they and Oprah hates him.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: Interesting.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: Think about that.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: I'm getting a left hand here.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: Jesse Jackson.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: He passed away, unfortunately.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: Trump endorsed him for president.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: But people don't know that.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: He was a Democrat.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: He gave him uh his own office base.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: I think it was a Rainbow Coalition.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: They loved each other.
- 26:28SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden when he ran for president, he was hated.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: Come on, think about that.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: Alright, next episode, I'm gonna have someone on here and we're debating.
- 26:38SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna make it a real debate and I'll come up with great questions.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: You'll be the You'll probably be uh obviously you'll be the best You can't call the person retard.
- 26:49SPEAKER_03: Even though you shouldn't be offended by it, I know.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: Hangover.
- 26:54SPEAKER_03: That's the best scene.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: We gotta put that clip in.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do it.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: Well, Joey, I love you.
- 27:00SPEAKER_03: Our time here is is over.
- 27:01SPEAKER_03: But until next time, we're debating.
- 27:03SPEAKER_03: We're gonna have a debate.
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: I'm in this is gonna be good.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: Uh we'll refrain from using retard.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: Um but yeah, thank you for being my guest.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: You're a local you're a local legend in Jersey.
- 27:15SPEAKER_03: Like I got East Coast, and you're now a local legend here in Arizona.
- 27:18SPEAKER_03: So thank you.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: I think it's because of you.
- 27:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, thanks.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: All right, until next time.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: Ta ta.
