- 5:17[SPEAKER_19]: That was quick.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_19]: We really already decided, but I don't even know who it is, anybody know who it is?
- 5:22[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_20]: I hope it's a lawyer who needs a little extra money of Jesus or something like that.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_20]: And once you get down on all those land deals that go on out there, we'll see.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_20]: We will see it.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_20]: And if they're not from the Kagwin Road or the Faisant Road, I don't want anything to do with them.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_20]: 755 1240 is the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on a hotline today show of shows hey you know i bought one of those you know i thought we had those robot lawnmowers here from the good folks at sellie sales and service and governor where they are great folks got all sorts of stuff and i just robot lawnmowers this is a husk of iron i bought one of them yeah it was a great deal it was from the north country saves auction
- 6:10[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if I'll use it or flip it or run, I'll do, but it was such a good price I couldn't turn it down.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_20]: So if you've ever wanted one of those, great opportunity.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_20]: 755, well, 40 is the phone number if you're, is that proper for him to buy one?
- 6:33[SPEAKER_20]: Is that legal?
- 6:33[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, that's what somebody will be out there saying on the
- 6:37[SPEAKER_20]: on the blog tonight you know that blog i've got it's kind of interesting i should just get it call up the comment section here the way i let people beat the hell out of me it's just great of me it's great uh... let's see uh... who's one the guy who always says he doesn't believe on name sources rarely has a name source i would be me
- 7:08[SPEAKER_20]: don't I guess gas at the new stewards is three sixty seven today the one across the old jail I'm just putting that out there I have nothing I don't use gas I gain nothing from saying that
- 7:28[SPEAKER_20]: Now I wrote a piece on my blog this morning about Mitch McConnell, I was kind of mocking how some of these members of Congress are all claiming they talked to him.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_20]: So some guy who doesn't have a sense of humor doesn't appreciate my dry sense of humor.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_20]: You talking to Mitch, he's every bit believable, he's talking to the other imaginary people.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, come on, man.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_20]: I'll tell you, a lot of these people are just out of this world.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, let's see, then you get these comments from a guy named StuGE.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, let's see.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, lots of different things.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_20]: They're not too many insults today.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_20]: It's hard to put any stock in one like yourself who can't spell it.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, let's see.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_20]: Nope.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_20]: Not too much else, sir.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_20]: People are pretty light on me today.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_20]: A lot of times they really hurl the insults.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_20]: And a lot of them might, I clear them for publication because these poor people, they have nothing else in life.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, I told him, I sure you did.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_20]: 7-5-5, 12-40, the phone number.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_20]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of show, it's today.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_20]: And we'll talk about whatever.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_20]: A is a guy pulled from the black river this morning.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_20]: I guess he's okay, good for him.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_20]: To vehicle accident on Carfine Street, oh!
- 9:00[SPEAKER_20]: Town Council gets a new member, no who'd they get?
- 9:04[SPEAKER_20]: Michael Colello, no who's he?
- 9:06[SPEAKER_20]: You see the guy you're owns the Watt Bottle Water Company?
- 9:13[SPEAKER_20]: He said he'd been eyeing the position for a while according to Channel 7, well if you're eyeing it sir, run for it.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_19]: I'd rather be appointed it's easier.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_20]: Let's see, I don't know the man.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_20]: Of course Jim writes a new town supervisor, he got appointed too.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_20]: All those times Jim had to run for election and finally discovered the easy way, well he discovered that would die, just get yourself appointed.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_20]: Yep.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_20]: Um, a Bob Slyard resigned.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_20]: I guess Mike Perkins resigned.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_20]: He wants to focus on his career at Bob Johnson.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_20]: I'll tell you, you know, despite what they say about Mike, he's a smart guy.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_20]: He really is.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_20]: And being in politics doesn't help with car dealership.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_20]: That's something that affects all we say.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_20]: Stay away from politics.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_20]: Sell cars.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_20]: So he's going to do that.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_20]: So they need another town board member.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_20]: There's a spot for a duff out there.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_20]: I think so, pretty soon that whole town board will just be appointed.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_20]: They don't even need elections anymore in the town of water town.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, democracy.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_20]: It's like up in Maine.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_20]: What do you got primaries for?
- 10:37[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I hope.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_20]: Well, force that guy out threatened to prosecute him on some years old
- 10:46[SPEAKER_20]: We'll put who we want in there.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, someone who will be pleasing the truck shumer and that crowd.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_20]: We'll see about that.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_20]: Seven, five, five, 12, 40 of the phone number if it'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_19]: Uh, what else are you going on?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_20]: What's about it?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_19]: That's about it.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_20]: So you got another townboard position.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, you know, I think Dough could run for town board out there, he's still got a house up here.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_20]: You know, it'd have to be there all the time.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_20]: Didn't we have an assembly met up in this area with Span's most of the year in Florida?
- 11:31[SPEAKER_20]: Nice guy, but that's what goes on.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_20]: because you can get away with, and any of you got Mitch McConnell, former Senate Majority Leader, Senator from Kentucky, in the hospital, and I hope he gets better, and I'm not reveling in his illness.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_20]: A lot of people on the cable nets are making fun of him, I guess.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, but look back, he had remembered poor Diane Feinstein.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, Strom Thurmond.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, how about that congressman from New Jersey you just checked out nobody knew where he was and They got his petition stone for him got him on the ballot.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_20]: That was running for another term nobody knows where he was Oh, he said he was depressed.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_20]: Mm, aren't we all It what point and his incapacity mean you shouldn't be in there.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_20]: Obviously with Joe Biden they didn't care Some people don't like Trump either Yeah, I get that
- 12:29[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, and what about Eugene Carroll?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, wait a minute.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_20]: You have to say that if you're a Democrat and any discussion of Trump, but, um, I don't know.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_20]: I really, I don't know what you do about Mitch McConnell.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_20]: Here's the problem for you non-political science majors.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_20]: Um, his term is done at the end of the year, so he's done.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_20]: But if he resigned now, Governor Bashir, who's a Democrat in Kentucky, would get to a point someone for the remaining months of the term.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_20]: Well, we don't want that if you're Republican.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_20]: So instead, you keep this guy, we don't even know if he's alive.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_20]: But you keep him on whatever to make sure he finishes out the term.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_20]: And you wonder why younger people who do vote aren't interested in
- 13:22[SPEAKER_20]: like a Susan Collins, I just want to run one more sick to a term.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_20]: No.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_20]: That poor Platner, now he is smart enough to not sign the declaration right away.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_20]: He's going to wait a Monday.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_20]: He says, what he should do on Monday and say, no.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_20]: I won the primary was 72%.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_20]: I'm the candidate.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_20]: The voters can decide if my background makes, you know, that's the way it works.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_20]: You don't like the background of the person, you say, well, he banged too many people or he did this or that or if you want to vote against him for that, but the people of me knew all of that before they nominated him in a primary and they weren't too concerned with it.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_20]: They may not have been comfortable with all of it as some of us aren't, but they gave
- 14:18[SPEAKER_20]: by the Democratic Party.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_20]: And don't believe the media could say we're in on this too.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_20]: They were all, when's he gonna get out?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_20]: When's he gonna get out?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_20]: When's he gonna get out?
- 14:26[SPEAKER_20]: They always do that.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know, Jake Tapper, you set this scam up.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_20]: You tell us.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_20]: So they undoubtedly threatened them saying, well, these women, you know, they can file a complaint and you'll have to go through indictments and you might not go to prison, but you'll have a lot of inconvenient.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_20]: And that's how they pushed them out.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_20]: It isn't about, oh, he did it because there was anything new.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_20]: All of that stuff was out there.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_20]: So you should follow that Platner case.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_20]: You Democrats, and say that next time you're shortling about, or democracy, we got our blessed democracy.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, you people don't want democracy.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_20]: That's going to be picked in a back room.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_20]: I somebody.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_20]: Exactly.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_20]: seven five five twelve I mean we don't have a lot of democracy in this country now but what little we have the democrats certainly don't would rather have it decided to rather me or it's always well he's not qualified to be a lot i love when people say that he's not qualified well if you got a pulse and you're the records that age are qualified and it's up to the voters to decide beyond that people don't get that
- 15:39[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, that's why these appointed forms of government with all these city managers is not a good idea, because they're able to use that excuse well, you're not qualified Mr. Mayor, you know, we're like, um, let the voters decide if they put somebody in who isn't they don't like well, some states have recalled all that, but that's the way it is, maybe take your vote a little more seriously next time.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_20]: Now, I get these people on my wife's, oh, that means you're in favor of rape, wait a minute.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_20]: This platinum guy, there was no investigation or a complaint of rape.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_20]: There was no indictment of charge of rape.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_20]: There was no trial or conviction.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_20]: You know, can you just say somebody's guilty of rape, murder, bank robbery, and it doesn't matter?
- 16:31[SPEAKER_20]: At some point, it's got a matter.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_20]: Jake Tapper and, you know,
- 16:39[SPEAKER_20]: He may be bullish and is behavior.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_20]: He already said that.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_20]: We knew that.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_20]: People may knew it.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_20]: Now, he's a foaming he as far as being an ob oyster guy and all that.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_20]: There's a lot of things about him that you can criticize, but criticize them in the context of the voters and let the voters decide.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_20]: What a novel concept that is.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_20]: Not some democratic
- 17:09[SPEAKER_20]: That's my opinion on it.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_20]: Now most of you haven't followed that situation.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_20]: So you don't want to talk about it.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_20]: Let's see, okay, I'm going to hit my robotic lawnmower.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I'm not going to open the box.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_20]: I'm going to, I'm going to resell it now.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_20]: It's a good thing.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_20]: Somebody who, you know, wants something like, if it depends on the line you got, if you got a big wide open space lawn,
- 17:37[SPEAKER_20]: That'd be good because they go back and forth and all that.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_20]: Once with hills and bumps and, you know, that's a little more problematic.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_20]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to be on the hotline today.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_20]: Okay, somebody texted in the latest woman in this Platner case, said on TV to Jake Tapper, that he raped me, why isn't he charged?
- 18:07[SPEAKER_20]: a police agency, or a grand jury, or a Harvard structured, or a D.A.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_20]: as to charge you.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_20]: Just because someone says you guilty of something doesn't mean it's true, even if you tell us a Jake Tapper.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_20]: So, and I don't like to have to defend this guy.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_20]: I don't like as far as Marxist opinions, but I'll tell ya, you struck a chord with voters, they liked them.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_20]: And now, he's been bullied out of the race by Democrats.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_20]: And he didn't leave just because, oh, my god, this woman said something nasty because women had so same women had talked to the New York Times prior, all of that was out there.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_20]: And he did it because they threatened to mine the scenes with criminal prosecution.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_20]: He didn't want to have to go through that.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_20]: That's how the legal system works.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_20]: they get you in some kind of quicksand situation and eventually you say, oh, I just let me go home.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_20]: Just let me go home.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_20]: I'll pay whatever it takes.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_20]: I'll give you whatever money you want lawyers and whatever, just let me go.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_20]: That's how the legal system works.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_20]: And that's what they did to poor old ground platinum.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_20]: I don't think the Nazi tattoo is a factor.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_20]: What he said
- 19:34[SPEAKER_20]: all of a sudden, uh, hurt your signalers didn't like and all of that.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_20]: If these people feel that way about him, assaulting them, fine.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_20]: Go to the police, sign out a, you know, a statement and see what they do.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_20]: Mm-hmm.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_20]: Well, kind of interesting.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_20]: I think it's an interesting case, but I don't think it is up here.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_20]: Now, what's going on in our local politics?
- 20:03[SPEAKER_20]: This race, I live in the 24th congressional district, because I live here in the city.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_20]: Body attendees, my member of Congress.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_20]: This Alisa Elman, who's running against, I even know who the hell she is.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_20]: I see her picture on Fox News is one of these left-wing radicals who won primaries, and that's great.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_20]: She won that primary without even coming to water town.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_20]: And I'm not saying we're anything great here at the hotline.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_20]: because a lot of you look at me with contempt.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_20]: But if you're running for office, why wouldn't you go to every media market and at least acquaint yourself with the influences of sorts?
- 20:45[SPEAKER_20]: Never.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_20]: Never came in and said, hey, I want to talk to you about my can.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_20]: Never did anything.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know who she is.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_20]: So, yes, what are you going to do about that race?
- 20:56[SPEAKER_20]: I'm going to do anything.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_20]: You're running for office.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_20]: You call me.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_20]: You want to be on the air.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_20]: You can sit here.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_20]: You're more than welcome.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_20]: But if you do lazy stupid to do that, that's your problem.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_20]: All righty.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_20]: Now, the 21st district, that's interesting.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_20]: I don't, you know, the Republicans.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, my God.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_20]: They screwed it up.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_20]: When Stufonic was going to be UN ambassador, they screwed that up for her because they couldn't have a viable candidate.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, to run in a special election, they wanted to run some apple knacker from scary county or something like that, and wasn't gonna win.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_20]: And then, what else did they do?
- 21:44[SPEAKER_20]: Now they're sitting there, there are some in some counties, one county in particular, Clinton county, whether Republican hierarchy, saying, well, let's just, we'll sync this guy this year, this guy in Centino,
- 21:56[SPEAKER_20]: And then we'll come back in two years and win it with a, you know, Bob Smollon type or something.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_20]: Are you crazy?
- 22:03[SPEAKER_20]: That's a craziest idea I've heard, but I heard it from reliable sources.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_20]: So I don't know what's going on here in Jefferson County with the Koonocracy, I don't know if they're and we have a land or what they are, but it's going to be a tough race for, I think, Constantine O'Conan went.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_20]: But what he's got to do is not get into fights with these local yokeals we public in poobas, and he can't be try to be Trump all the kind being assaulting to people.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_20]: Just get out there at the county fairs, the parades, and that make it so people like you if they like you little vote for you.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_20]: I'm no Roger Stone or anything.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_20]: I'm not all that smart.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_20]: But I do know people got to like it.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_20]: That's what's stuff out when she ran in 2014, she went everywhere, met everybody, local officials, local people, everybody, and people liked her.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_20]: Not everybody liked her, but a lot of people.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_20]: These dolds in up-and-clinton County were plaid spurgues.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_20]: Remember a couple of years ago, they all went out and there was a Betty little in that crowd.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_20]: They went out and endorsed Tedra Cobb for Congress.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_20]: What kind of Republicans are those?
- 23:20[SPEAKER_20]: but they take the pension checks and 30 public and party out for him.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, yeah, so I don't know what's going on.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_20]: But I think Constantine knows got an edge.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_20]: Really depends on his own behavior, because he's got people who've got to like him.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_20]: It's going to be a tough year.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_20]: You've got to really dim bulb at the top of the ticket in Bruce Blakeman.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, that's going nowhere.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_20]: They got a good attorney general candidate, but they got the race hustler to streams running so you can't win that race and Go ahead and send the tape to run okay So it's a tough race for the sticker be all, but I think he can win it You tell me if you have any feeling a lot of people don't have any feelings on it, maybe you don't Other tax coming in
- 24:18[SPEAKER_20]: Well, what was this?
- 24:19[SPEAKER_20]: I got something from Bob Shore, remember Bob, you ran for, you know, nice guy, hell of a nice guy.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_20]: Prince of a man.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_20]: He said, you said someone in a business wouldn't be in politics because of the business.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_20]: Well, I'm saying it's difficult because you have to take sides.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_20]: And like if you're a card dealer and you got a bunch of Kamala signs out in front, you got to say, well, how many sales are I going to lose?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_20]: Some people don't care.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_20]: you know, but some people do, um, this, uh, Bob was on the same.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_20]: My dad, I was sure he's, yeah, station on L'Arrestry, said he'd been asked for years to run or wouldn't because of this, yeah, station, yeah.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_20]: You know, I would still buy gas from him if you said you were supporting Kamala Harris, but, I don't know.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_20]: concerning a new member of the town board, outer-eye street, he's acceptable, he's a buddy of London.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_20]: So that's all it matters.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_20]: He got to be, you're in there to facilitate the deals.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_20]: You've got to grease the skids for all these developers and everything.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_20]: A link to the show is being sent to the AG's office.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_19]: Great.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_20]: I'd love for a big test to come after me.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_20]: I told you, I thought she was good.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_20]: You know, like most of us in that age group, sometimes some photos look pretty good.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_20]: She's, she can be quite fetching, but I think she's a race-hossler.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_19]: There's no doubt about it.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_20]: Um, hmm, what else have we got?
- 26:03[SPEAKER_20]: Somebody texted in, I see water lines in the city of starting to crumble.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I got my city tax bill today.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_20]: So I get two tax bills.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_20]: One for the hill.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_20]: Five tenies made, yeah, it's my secret property.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_20]: $12.40 for that, I pay it, but my tax bill for the bar parcel and pearls for you.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_20]: Holy cow, that's getting bigger and bigger.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_20]: I would remember when it was approaching a thousand, now it's way over.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, it's getting way forward from these guys.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know, I'm here.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_20]: I hate to say it, but it's getting to the point you got to wonder that everything you're charging you.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe you know, maybe it doesn't matter to you.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_20]: But I just look at myself and I'm I live on Pearl Street by God of all places.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_20]: And look at these people who live in a swanky neighborhoods.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_20]: That was your school tax.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_20]: And then your county tax.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_20]: I don't even know what that money goes towards.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_20]: County taxes go to pay welfare and Medicaid.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_20]: School taxes go to pay for the superintendents new you kind.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_20]: So we all know where those go, but still, there is a point where you say, how much more this can you afford?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_20]: And I know there's some people out there saying, well, if you can't afford to get out of town, move out of state or something.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_20]: I've heard that before.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_20]: Now, I like where I live.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_20]: I like where I do, but it's Jesus.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_20]: It's getting expensive.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_20]: All righty, 755, 1240, the phone number back with more at a moment.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_02]: The news in talk authority, WATM-1240.

- 30:16[SPEAKER_07]: Others apparently declare war on their customers.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_08]: At badwebsite.com, we believe websites should take as long as possible to load.

- 30:51[SPEAKER_08]: We believe customers should have to work hard for basic information.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_08]: And finally, we suspect your competitors sincerely appreciate all of this.

- 31:21[SPEAKER_20]: The news in talk of thirties, you know, I was thinking I was reading over the poopsheet on this husk of era, auto mower model 310, I just bought from Sandy out at the front desk as part of the North Country saves auction.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_20]: Come some sunny sales and service on US 11 and governor work.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_20]: I'm sure the mayor up there knows where that is.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_20]: And but it's a robotic lawnmower designed for small to medium size lawn up to 0.25 acres a thousand square meters.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_20]: It's efficient for real battery powered capable of handling up to slopes up to 40 percent.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_20]: And I don't really have much to mow or do much mowing in.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_20]: But I was thinking maybe this would be a great thing, sending my brother for his birthday which is coming up on the 24th of this month.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_20]: He lives in a kind of a nice subdivision, and he got H-O-A there, I don't know what their feelings are on robotic lawnmowers, they probably got.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_20]: Probably has to go through some panel or something of community influencers and leaders.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I think I'm sure the folks at UPS could send that down there.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_20]: I got it a really good price here.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_20]: I wouldn't buy something like this, but I got it at a very good price.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_20]: So I don't know, I might see if somebody wants it a bit, but maybe I'll send it to him for his birthday.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_20]: Is that a good birthday present?
- 32:45[SPEAKER_20]: I know he has some law and service coming in, but he likes gadgets.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_20]: I can't tell you all of the ones he has,
- 32:57[SPEAKER_20]: So, why wouldn't you want to have a robotic bundle?
- 33:02[SPEAKER_20]: Just a thought, but after you knew you're on the air.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_21]: He's probably, if he hasn't made your way, they probably more is one for him.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, probably, but, you know.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, and just so you know, those, the mowers are great.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_21]: My daughters got one, but you got no other program.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_20]: That's where I run into trouble.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_21]: It's set it all up for us.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_03]: Uh-oh.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_21]: Sweet.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_21]: There's, uh, yeah.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_21]: There's a little piece.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, there's instructions.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_21]: You can try to follow on button.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_21]: It's not as easy as you think it is.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_21]: But once you get it set up, it does its own thing.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_20]: You know.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_20]: I don't really have any lawn though.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_21]: Well, why do you buy it then?
- 33:49[SPEAKER_20]: Because it was such a good deal.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_21]: There you go.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_20]: I like you, how much long you have done in Florida?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_21]: I don't have to more, they take care of that.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_20]: Hmm, okay.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_21]: They take care of it.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_21]: It's cleanly entryways a mall.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_21]: They do other landscaping.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_20]: Wow.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_21]: It's a building maintenance.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_20]: A lot of those HOAs are kind of tough.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_20]: We don't have HOAs in water town.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_21]: I know my wife was on the board.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_21]: I told her, you know, don't risk your, you know,
- 34:22[SPEAKER_21]: You know, you were mentioned by name.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_21]: I wouldn't take that.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_21]: Are you kidding me?
- 34:26[SPEAKER_21]: You think it's all to that?
- 34:27[SPEAKER_20]: Well, you know, they want to regulate not just the color of your house, but everything, you know, Oh, can you put up a flagpole?
- 34:33[SPEAKER_20]: Can you put a, can you put a Trump sign in your lawn?
- 34:36[SPEAKER_21]: I remember Yeah, but condos, if you're living in a condo, it doesn't make any difference.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, the outside is from the outside.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_21]: And everybody holds on what they want.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_21]: So, of course, nobody agrees on it.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_20]: Right, but some of it's kind of, uh, and then you get snitches, you know, that try to
- 34:52[SPEAKER_20]: say, well, he did this to his house next to you.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, you got this.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_21]: You're going to always going to have those.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, yeah.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, yeah.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_21]: But you get them anyway.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_21]: You get them whether you have a H. Oh, yeah.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_20]: Maybe I will send this thing.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_21]: They don't like you,
- 35:22[SPEAKER_21]: open christmas day my god i know um... yeah i guess but as far as the uh... the time board i wouldn't get bought on that what about this calama guy is he uh... i don't know yeah he owns the dunking doughnuts on here some what he's connected then yeah he's got the uh... french eyes or something and he had the water report uh... the water business uh...
- 35:49[SPEAKER_20]: They are going to waste their money.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_20]: You guys aren't going to waste your money on that water district.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_20]: Are you out of the tier?
- 35:56[SPEAKER_21]: Well, I think they voted that down anyway.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_21]: They should have picked that up.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_20]: I wouldn't buy that.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_20]: Why?
- 36:02[SPEAKER_21]: No, why would you?
- 36:03[SPEAKER_21]: I know exactly.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_20]: You're buying into a liability.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, it's, you know.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_21]: I haven't been involved in years.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_21]: I mean, it's just, you know.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah, $100 for my one month water bill.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_21]: So the town's hasn't ever since Ralph was there, you know Anyway, well, we got it.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_21]: We got the big fire department.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_21]: We got all that kind of stuff now.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_20]: We got paid to out paid for her department guys Wow, you got you don't call them fire queens, do you?
- 36:39[SPEAKER_20]: No, okay Yeah, there's people in the city
- 36:48[SPEAKER_21]: Well, you gotta have my mean, it's, you know, people don't want to volunteer for anything anymore.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_20]: There's no, even if I was, even if I was 20 years younger than more fit, I don't want to get it in the middle of the night, put turn out gear on and go, you know, inhale a bunch of smoke or anything like that.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_20]: I just don't want to do it.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_20]: I'm glad we got people who do and I don't mind paying them.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_21]: Right, but the problem is now, he's,
- 37:13[SPEAKER_21]: A lot of these guys have fallen in terror, which is regular guys, and then all of a sudden they told them they had to do this, they had to do that, they had to buy this, they had to buy that.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_20]: Right, so it's up instead of local government running around bragging about, we got no town tax, you know, and all these other stupid things they say, I am, you know, put something together that provides the services that people want.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_20]: I mean, you want services.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_20]: You don't necessarily have to have them teen pools or anything like that, but, um, no.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_21]: But the thing is, you know, when I got thinking about that and you know, you're talking about the pools and stuff in a wiretomb, but, you know, I mean, I drive the streets, I know what they're like.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_21]: But if you're taking all the money that you are, all your income that you've got coming in, you're spending it on social programs and, and homeless shelters, of course you're not going to have money to, for black-top to redo the streets and stuff, you can have a fire department.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_20]: If you had back all the money, you're wasted on that building out there that we all knew was never going to be built.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, you know, you know, dummy.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_21]: Yeah.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_21]: Okay, no.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_21]: So anyway, no, I just, I'll just, I'll just, then enjoy my semi-retirement.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_20]: Okay.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_20]: Sounds good.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_20]: All right.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_20]: Thank you.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_20]: Bye now.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_20]: It's the tough.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_20]: Sometimes for the resident, but up here for the summer,

- 43:16[SPEAKER_20]: whatever 755-1240 the phone number if it'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today and we'll talk about whatever you want within the balance of good taste and we don't want to get outside those bounds and I go from there junk off of here look at news junky see what see what's in the news is that's important
- 43:45[SPEAKER_20]: It was a curious article in the morning's Times.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_20]: Yesterday there was a front page of all the full story about you know, Roxy Hotel is going to open and cave Vincent.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, great sounds great, everything.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_20]: And today there was the exact same story except they say the restaurant bar are going to open because they haven't got a liquor license.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_20]: To get them as free publicity above the fold is great, but
- 44:12[SPEAKER_20]: You don't want to put the carton front of the horse there.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_20]: Don't be telling people you're going to be open and doing all this for French Festival.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know what the deal is.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_20]: It's been 40 plus years since I had to reply for a record license.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_20]: I don't think I'd wider now.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_20]: I think it's gotten too complicated too many nonsense things in there.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_20]: Little rules and this and that.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_20]: Um...
- 44:36[SPEAKER_20]: So...
- 44:38[SPEAKER_20]: we don't know what the situation we don't I guess there was something on channel seven i guess Jeff Cole told everybody how to get through the uh... the obstacles to go to the french rest of all the detours and all that's nice of mr. Cole but surprised who's like a chamber commerce moment ding ding ding ding ding it's friday you got this big weekend you've got whatever audience we have
- 45:06[SPEAKER_20]: whether it's five people or five hundred or five thousand who knows.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_20]: And just for dialin' ten numbers, you can be on the air and talk to all those people and say, well, here's a situation with this road, but the never seen people except in this area who get on a chamber of commerce or something like that and are like the dimmest volumes around.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_20]: There's people who listen, there's people who listen to Glenn, there's people who listen to the nice lady on Walland Street, and there's people who listen to everybody.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_20]: You know, take the free stuff first.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_20]: So I don't know.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_20]: I assume there's a French festival this weekend.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_19]: I think best deal days coming up.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_20]: I saw something on the news, National News about a best-heeled-day celebration in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_20]: I know more about what's going on in Milwaukee than I do what's happening outside of root 12E and yeah, we have these chambers of commerce and all these special people who run these state agencies and T.I.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_20]: commissions and all these other things that they
- 46:28[SPEAKER_20]: You use all media and all mechanisms, particularly the free ones first, and then you negotiate with those people if you have to do pay debts.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, crazy.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know if there's a french fries to both, if there's anyone out there who's French or anything else, call us.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_20]: We'll be glad to mention it.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_20]: And if there's special accommodation, you have to make to get because of a culvert being out, then we'll be glad to tell people about it.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_20]: Oh, 6.0 wants to know, am I open on Bastille today?
- 47:00[SPEAKER_20]: That's the 14th, I think it is.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_20]: Yes, I am.
- 47:02[SPEAKER_20]: Yes, I am.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_20]: In honor of the French.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_20]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_22]: Good afternoon, man.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_22]: You're happy Friday.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_22]: Another beautiful summer day for the North Country.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_20]: Beautiful, I am.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_22]: Yes, you'll be a hot one at that French festival.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_22]: But I'm sure they'll figure it out.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_22]: They'll be out there with all of it.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_22]: It's really cool.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_22]: I've been to it probably 20 times at least.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_22]: But, uh,
- 47:24[SPEAKER_22]: The thing is, I had a, I had a, I don't know, mailbox a week or something ago, it came from sky great.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_22]: Someone was Mr. Great, flowers, and it gave us casual stuff, like it didn't say anything about detours or what not, you know, it's like this is going on, there's fireworks here, and this is that fourth July week.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I don't know, what's going on?
- 47:48[SPEAKER_20]: You know, nobody told me nobody dropped off a flyer.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_20]: Nobody said can I come in and talk about it?
- 47:53[SPEAKER_20]: Nobody calls and said hey, we got this going on.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_22]: I should have come in and talked to you about it.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_20]: Well, maybe you should have what's your what's your role in it.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_22]: Nothing.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_22]: I'm just saying I got it on my mailbox, but it gives me a stuff that's nice thing around the North country that are.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_22]: available to do this summer.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_22]: I'm not lucky.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_20]: I mean we've got your T.I.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_20]: commissions or your I love New York bodies or Jefferson County.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, whatever.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_22]: Well, yeah, I get what's one of them things and it shows you a picture to add around next in the fall or something.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, that's just for you.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, yeah.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_22]: What's what are they going to do?
- 48:27[SPEAKER_22]: We're talking about congressmen and now that guy the Democrats pushed out that mean guy, which I didn't like him anyway.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_22]: Not only
- 48:39[SPEAKER_22]: thought she's going to get d and i and i'm not sure and what you're saying about mental economy might better that maybe she's here for losing the seat or you get some one of them weirdos in there and then they start casting the wrong way i don't think she's two or three from the screwy up i don't think she's moving it can talk to you to run for my kind of seat but i do i don't know i think she's laying low
- 49:05[SPEAKER_20]: figure and there's nothing good that comes out of this election uh... and uh... laylow's got a good to get to be a man no i don't think she wanted that's up that's a national yeah i know that's all worthless position that all you do is all she'd have is a tough confirmation proceeding uh...
- 49:27[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah, but she's good at arguing with these guys especially them got them ones with that stuff on her head that and bezel common knowing his dollars.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_20]: Right.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, yeah, she'll give it right to him.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_22]: But he was elected to be ambassador.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know how he.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_20]: She got, there's no doubt about it.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_20]: She got robbed.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_20]: And you know who was it?
- 49:50[SPEAKER_20]: All of the, you know, the uh,
- 49:54[SPEAKER_20]: North country Republican team, they're all these county chairs and committee people couldn't come up with a candidate, they should have ran Liz Joy, they wanted to run this page guy, it was like a bump on a log from somewhere we never heard of, and so the White House pulled the nomination because they couldn't afford to lose the majority.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_20]: It was crazy.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_20]: And so that's that.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_20]: I mean,
- 50:19[SPEAKER_20]: I would just call it she got a raw deal on that and you know I'm I'm the one person me and Russ and McDougall There are the three people the holy Trinity of North Country political thought We're the ones who can honestly say, you know whether some of them screwed or not or that type of stuff because the rest of them are really Really not the sharpest knives in the drawer Correct, no, I think that
- 50:45[SPEAKER_22]: remote control.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_22]: Do you have a remote control vacuum cleaner just wanted to say because I heard you talk.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_20]: No, I don't and I know I have a cleaner.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, it's not a remote control, but it kind of like exposed to vacuum you living room by it.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I know what they are, yeah.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_20]: No, I don't have one.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_22]: I think it's kind of a need idea if it works.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know if it's done.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_22]: I think I'm going to send this over.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_20]: I think I'm going to send this remote to this robotic lawnmower to my brother.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_20]: If he likes stupid stuff like that, you know.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_22]: All right, cool, my little cry is best if you got an idea.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, it was an hell of a deal, yeah.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_22]: So now I love the show and I hope you have a great weekend and everything else.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_22]: They're going to fireworks down the franchise and everything.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_22]: Well, I hope they do and I hope that road's jacked up, but still still at the end.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_22]: You don't know where you should go on the field.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_20]: Drive for some out and look for the Millen's Bay Road.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_20]: It's just past the big bridge.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_20]: Millen's Bay.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_20]: Take that.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_20]: It's about five, six miles.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_20]: And you keep going straight across through 12.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_20]: You know, come to the Jerry's Tiki bar.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_20]: And I'm telling you, that is the best place on the St. Lawrence.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_20]: It is, you've got a beautiful indoor bar, you've got a beautiful outdoor teaky bar and tables and everything to whatever you would like to do.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_20]: Some people don't like to sit outside, some people do.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_20]: So that's where I would go if I was going somewhere.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_22]: I'm talking over nothing.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_22]: My brother plays there sometimes.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_20]: But on the other hand, if you're there, then you can drive up route 12 and get
- 52:29[SPEAKER_22]: Or if you're like, well, you gotta go first thing like Saturday because they're running on them home made their what do you call them if you're one of those well to do Clares in that on the croissants that front stop boys, but they went when they they have cases in case of them They are delicious So down about two three hours all well, or you could if you're one of those rich lady dogs on the river you're gonna go with everybody boat That's nice too
- 52:59[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know how the costumers they got a costumers right there at Katelyn's until the was a fairie you could drive it there it's no fairie no more that guy died yeah of course the clothes of fairie yeah they're trying to get it reopened but I guess not it's uh I don't know I see you out of smoking around but if you're going up there anyway you take the fairie I don't know why you know why can't we have
- 53:24[SPEAKER_20]: like over in Canada, I know they had a lot of government over there, but I think the province runs the ferry from Kingston to Wolf Island.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_19]: Well, let New York State run this thing, you know?
- 53:34[SPEAKER_20]: They spend enough money on nonsense.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_20]: Let them run the ferry, that way it's run, it's safe, it's everything else.
- 53:40[SPEAKER_20]: You haven't got to worry about whether some guy is sick or whatever.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_20]: And it gets done.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_20]: I just...
- 53:47[SPEAKER_20]: I don't know.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_22]: Hey, now it's not even open so now anybody can't use it.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_22]: I didn't even know that because I haven't tried to use it And yeah, it's probably before a COVID mayor, but yeah, all right listen.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_20]: I got a call.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_20]: I got a run.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_22]: Bye.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_20]: Bye.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_20]: Bye.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_20]: Good afternoon around the air.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_19]: Hi, Jeff.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_19]: I'm one of the residents of Pauling Street I don't know if you saw the news article or not about the water But you know, I understand the way things go in the city and the finances of getting things fixed like that But what I'm calling for today is
- 54:18[SPEAKER_19]: I can't, I can't just fathom or imagine the comment that one of the councilman made, he's the doctor, I believe it's him.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_19]: He said, it really doesn't affect that many people so paraphrasing.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_19]: We're not going to worry too much about it because it's not affecting very many people.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_19]: So here's a councilman saying, if water's contaminated, but it's only a
- 54:46[SPEAKER_20]: I know he's a water wants to spend 60-70 million on the water plants as we got to have it, you know.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_19]: Like what's, if it's one person being affected with their health, it doesn't matter if it's 50 or 0 or 1, it's affecting a human being's health, who's a member of the city that pays taxes and their waters affected.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_19]: So to make a comment by that, you got to wonder about who are these people that are
- 55:15[SPEAKER_19]: on our council that would say something is ridiculous as that.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_19]: We're not going to worry too much about it because it's not affecting that many people.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_19]: It doesn't matter how many people it affects.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_19]: So I guess, you know, right.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_19]: We got to really look at the people we're voting in because to make a statement like that.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_19]: It's just unbelievable that a professional man would make a statement like it's not affecting enough people to make a difference.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_20]: Okay, that's it.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_20]: I have to run for a second, but I appreciate your call.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_20]: Thanks.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_20]: Bye now.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_20]: Bye.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_20]: Back with more in a moment.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_03]: 3-1-5-7-8-2-9-1-29-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9
