- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 4: On air, on air, on.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: All right, everybody. Let's gather around on this Mexican Independence Day. Wednesday,
- 0:16Speaker 2: September 16th. Good morning, Ryan Seacrest. This is Tanya. We
- 0:21Speaker 2: got the back room. Ruby's there. Ronnie, not at the
- 0:24Speaker 2: gas station this morning. He is live in the back
- 0:26Speaker 2: room in person. Michaela, almost off the market after my
- 0:30Speaker 2: endorsement to her on Hinge.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Guys are lining up.
- 0:32Speaker 2: And Ronnie, what does it feel like to be hanging
- 0:35Speaker 2: in the back room? Because they talk about stuff behind
- 0:38Speaker 2: our back that we don't always get to hear. Would
- 0:39Speaker 2: you report back to me? Yes.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Well, oh, sorry. I answered too fast. We do talk
- 0:44Speaker 5: about some stuff back here. It's so exciting. It literally
- 0:47Speaker 5: feels like my first day of sophomore year.
- 0:51Speaker 2: And so when the mics go off, what happens?
- 0:55Speaker 5: You know, we kind of just yap and, you know,
- 0:57Speaker 5: they're busy over here. I'm kind of just sitting here posting,
- 1:00Speaker 5: getting my job done. But yeah, we kind of talk
- 1:02Speaker 5: about some gossip happening in the office. Not so much
- 1:06Speaker 5: about you guys, but yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 2: So he will not report back is what he's saying. Okay. Well,
- 1:12Speaker 2: it's good to have you in here. You know, we're
- 1:14Speaker 2: only 100 days from Christmas.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I love that.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Yay.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I know, but we can't skip over Halloween and Thanksgiving, guys.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Don't you worry. November 1st, the tree goes up.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Yeah, we won't. Don't worry about that. Did you decorate?
- 1:28Speaker 2: You said you were going to decorate.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I haven't yet. I'm getting there.
- 1:31Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Little things, but we haven't put up the big skeleton
- 1:34Speaker 1: outside yet. Okay.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Well, go ahead and do it. Cause I mean, I
- 1:38Speaker 2: have like.
- 1:38Speaker 1: My mantles done. Like the, the knickknacky decor is in
- 1:42Speaker 1: the house.
- 1:43Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:43Speaker 1: That's in, but the outside is not decorated yet, which
- 1:45Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 1:46Speaker 2: It is the middle of September, so it's totally fine.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Will you make it a Dodger skeleton like you did
- 1:52Speaker 2: last time?
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:54Speaker 1: It's like tradition.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I'll give you Cissney's address so you can drive by
- 1:57Speaker 2: and check out all this Halloween work. All right. Now,
- 2:00Speaker 2: pay your bills. Next, it is Kiss FM Wednesday morning.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Let's go. Taylor Swift's on Kiss FM Los Angeles. Seacrest here.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Thanks for listening. All right. We need a family meeting.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I need everybody in on this. Okay.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Why?
- 2:14Speaker 1: Is everything okay?
- 2:14Speaker 4: Cissney.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Cissney. Well, it's fine. At least I think it's fine.
- 2:21Speaker 2: But Tanya is doing something in her relationship to her
- 2:26Speaker 2: husband that I'm not so sure is the best thing
- 2:30Speaker 2: to do. And I have a question about the psychology
- 2:32Speaker 2: behind it. But basically, I don't understand you. I'm so
- 2:35Speaker 2: excited for football.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Me too.
- 2:37Speaker 2: And you want to limit the viewing time that your
- 2:40Speaker 2: husband can watch football. And here's the problem. She's taking
- 2:44Speaker 2: it to another level. She's legislating it. Yeah, making a contract.
- 2:47Speaker 2: She's writing a bill. A contract?
- 2:49Speaker 3: Why?
- 2:49Speaker 2: She's making a contract.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Why can't you just get on board with football?
- 2:53Speaker 2: I know, Sisney.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I've tried.
- 2:55Speaker 6: I've tried, but I can't. And I fear that it infiltrates.
- 3:00Speaker 6: It's not just one day a week like it used
- 3:02Speaker 6: to be back in the day. It's now Monday night.
- 3:05Speaker 6: There's Thursday night. There's Saturdays and Sundays. I feel like
- 3:08Speaker 6: it's more days of the week than not.
- 3:11Speaker 2: And.
- 3:13Speaker 6: Robbie, my husband, he plays this fantasy league, and he's
- 3:17Speaker 6: always on his phone watching his players and the scores,
- 3:20Speaker 6: and he's so consumed by it. So I said, you
- 3:22Speaker 6: know what? This season, this football season, I'm going to
- 3:24Speaker 6: give him a football season contract.
- 3:27Speaker 2: That's a bad idea.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I don't know about this either. He laughed.
- 3:31Speaker 6: He thought it was so funny, and he signed it,
- 3:34Speaker 6: and we're good.
- 3:34Speaker 2: What's the contract?
- 3:36Speaker 6: Sunday mornings before games begin, those are my time with him, so...
- 3:41Speaker 6: Morning walk, coffee.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Ryan's falling out of his chair.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Screen-free zone during couple time. No second screens and phones.
- 3:52Speaker 6: Stay face down.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Why? It's so rigid. It's so harsh. I'm trying to
- 3:59Speaker 2: figure out, is it healthy? I don't think it's healthy.
- 4:01Speaker 9: It would be more healthy if you were on board.
- 4:04Speaker 9: Michael and I wake up and we're like, hey, did
- 4:06Speaker 9: you set your lineup?
- 4:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:08Speaker 1: We both enjoy it.
- 4:10Speaker 2: You could enjoy this.
- 4:11Speaker 6: I know.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Your husband likes it.
- 4:13Speaker 6: He does like it, but it's from now until Valentine's Day.
- 4:16Speaker 6: It's too long. So we have to have some boundaries.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Not if you were doing it too. Like you were
- 4:22Speaker 1: in it, watching the games, all the things.
- 4:24Speaker 6: I know, but I can't force myself to like it.
- 4:26Speaker 6: That's the problem.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Is he going to write up a Love Island viewing
- 4:29Speaker 2: contract for you now?
- 4:30Speaker 6: He enjoys Love Island. Thank you very much.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Not every single episode you're lying.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I think he's actually just being nice to you. Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 6: He really thought that the contract was hilarious. He took
- 4:40Speaker 6: it on the chin, and he signed it. Yeah, because
- 4:43Speaker 6: it's bogus. He's not going to follow this. Yeah, and
- 4:48Speaker 6: there's a mourning period, too.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'm just reading the mourning period. In the event of
- 4:52Speaker 2: a loss, a mourning period not to exceed one, parenthetical one, hour.
- 4:57Speaker 6: One hour.
- 4:58Speaker 2: That's it?
- 4:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Okay. I think your contract drafting language needs a little help. Yeah, no,
- 5:04Speaker 2: I'm like married to a lawyer. Following expiration of said hour,
- 5:07Speaker 2: normal conversation functions shall resume. You've become not a wife.
- 5:12Speaker 2: You've become a project manager. This is giving project management.
- 5:16Speaker 6: Every family needs one.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Lay off the boundaries. No, this would make me run
- 5:22Speaker 2: and live alone for the rest of my life.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Which I'm doing now anyway.
- 5:26Speaker 1: It's not giving supportive life.
- 5:29Speaker 2: All right. Anyway, Lions Bills tomorrow night on Prime. Who's excited?
- 5:32Speaker 4: See?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Every night. One to 2.7. It's Kiss FM. Seacrest here.
- 5:36Speaker 2: What would you say your favorite snack is? You know,
- 5:39Speaker 2: snack is my favorite meal. Snacks. Love a snack. So
- 5:42Speaker 2: mine are these little pretzel bites called Quinn's Pretzel Bites
- 5:45Speaker 2: with almond butter in the middle and a drop of
- 5:47Speaker 2: maple syrup. They are so good. I cannot eat just one. Q-U-I-N-N-S.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Pretzel Bites with almond butter. They have a peanut butter one.
- 5:55Speaker 2: It's my go-to.
- 5:57Speaker 10: Snack.
- 5:58Speaker 2: What's your favorite snack?
- 5:59Speaker 9: I wish I could just pinpoint one, but I really don't.
- 6:03Speaker 9: And I kind of just use it as fuel. Like
- 6:05Speaker 9: if I need a snack, it's because I'm hungry and
- 6:06Speaker 9: I'll have a chomp, which is not exciting, but.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I know I love snacks. I can make snacks. My meal.
- 6:13Speaker 2: What's your favorite snack?
- 6:15Speaker 6: Um, so I've been really into olives lately. Like I
- 6:17Speaker 6: can go to town on olive, but I think my
- 6:20Speaker 6: favorite snack of all time is an apple with peanut butter.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That's good. I like that. Any of those nut butters
- 6:25Speaker 2: I like. Jordan in the back room, she brought this
- 6:29Speaker 2: up because I don't know what her favorite snack is,
- 6:32Speaker 2: but you are trying to expand your palate, right? What's
- 6:34Speaker 2: this exercise all about, Jordan?
- 6:35Speaker 7: Yeah, I think it's important to try and tap into
- 6:40Speaker 7: these foods that you grew up not liking. So I'm
- 6:43Speaker 7: trying to do that and grow.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Up a little bit.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Okay, so as you're trying to grow up, what are
- 6:48Speaker 2: the foods you didn't like and how's it going?
- 6:50Speaker 6: Absolutely despised.
- 6:52Speaker 7: Mushrooms tomatoes and arugula oh but now i love mushrooms
- 6:59Speaker 7: i'm okay with arugula if it's mixed with like another
- 7:01Speaker 7: salad and i'm trying on tomatoes i'm really trying.
- 7:05Speaker 2: On tomatoes well i think tomatoes will win you over
- 7:08Speaker 2: they are hard to avoid for the rest of your
- 7:10Speaker 2: life why is it that you just want to grow
- 7:13Speaker 2: up and get past some of these childhood issues is
- 7:15Speaker 2: that what it was Yeah.
- 7:16Speaker 7: And mushrooms and tomatoes were involved in a lot of
- 7:19Speaker 7: my meals growing up, and I always told my mom,
- 7:21Speaker 7: please just take them out for me. So she would separate,
- 7:25Speaker 7: she'd put everybody else's dishes together, but make sure mine
- 7:27Speaker 7: was very specific. I even grew up telling people I
- 7:30Speaker 7: was allergic to tomatoes just so I could.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Avoid putting them in, even though I'd eat pizza.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And pasta and stuff like that. Yeah, well, that doesn't count.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I felt the same way for a long time about meatloaf.
- 7:44Speaker 2: And I felt the same way a long time about
- 7:47Speaker 2: fennel root. And I never wanted any of it. I
- 7:51Speaker 2: don't know why. I did not like meatloaf. I did
- 7:53Speaker 2: not like fennel root. And over time, I played the
- 7:56Speaker 2: same game. I'm going to bite size this up, and
- 7:59Speaker 2: I'm going to grow up, and I'm going to become
- 8:00Speaker 2: an adult, and I'm going to order fennel root, and
- 8:03Speaker 2: I'm going to ask for a slice of meatloaf. I
- 8:04Speaker 2: like the end. I like the heel of the meatloaf.
- 8:06Speaker 2: The inside where it's a little bit crunchy. And I
- 8:08Speaker 2: overcame it. So you too can do the same. Yeah.
- 8:11Speaker 7: Got to really season up the tomatoes, but slowly but surely,
- 8:14Speaker 7: I want to just bite into one, all the textures.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Like an apple.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I'm very excited to be Jordan right now, growing up.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Were you a meatloaf family?
- 8:26Speaker 2: We were growing up, yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 1: We were not. I don't think I've ever even tasted meatloaf.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Let me tell you something about my mom. I love her. Exactly.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I love her. She's great. Cooking was not her strong suit.
- 8:37Speaker 2: That's okay. It was chicken salad. Stuffed shells one night,
- 8:43Speaker 2: you know, like stuff that, and we'd have it every
- 8:46Speaker 2: single day.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Right, it was like a routine, like the routine dishes
- 8:48Speaker 1: that keep rotating.
- 8:49Speaker 6: We'd have the same thing.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yes, exactly. It was all I could do to get
- 8:53Speaker 2: an A on a test to get the reward of
- 8:55Speaker 2: getting two cheese enchiladas at Dos Amigos restaurant. That was
- 8:58Speaker 2: my reward.
- 8:59Speaker 9: I grew up on chicken enchiladas my entire life.
- 9:04Speaker 2: See, I should have exchanged studented with you.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Here's this talkative kid in high school coming over to
- 9:11Speaker 2: exchange student with us. His name is Ryan Seacrest. Anyway,
- 9:16Speaker 2: Seacrest here got a quote of the day. So it
- 9:18Speaker 2: is interesting when you go, when I am at any
- 9:21Speaker 2: place grabbing a bite to eat, at times I will
- 9:24Speaker 2: observe couples behavior because I'm really still taken aback when
- 9:30Speaker 2: two people are together and they're eating something or they're
- 9:34Speaker 2: at a place at a table and they're on their
- 9:35Speaker 2: phones the whole time and they don't even really talk
- 9:38Speaker 2: to each other or friends too. But here are the
- 9:41Speaker 2: top three most annoying things couples do when they eat
- 9:44Speaker 2: out on the top of the list, feeding each other.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I find that annoying. Now, grab a bite of my
- 9:50Speaker 2: thing and you put your fork in the mouth, fine.
- 9:52Speaker 2: But feeding each other in public, it's gross. That tells
- 9:56Speaker 2: me something's wrong with your relationship, actually. Holding hands across
- 10:01Speaker 2: the table. I'm on the fence. I can go both
- 10:04Speaker 2: ways on this. Tanya?
- 10:06Speaker 6: We hold hands across the table.
- 10:08Speaker 1: The whole time?
- 10:08Speaker 6: Well, we prefer to sit on the same side. If
- 10:10Speaker 6: we can't sit on the same side and we sit across,
- 10:12Speaker 6: then we'll hold hands, yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 1: But the whole time?
- 10:14Speaker 6: Not while we're eating, but yeah, before it comes, after
- 10:16Speaker 6: it leaves.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I am not good at holding hands. I'm not a
- 10:23Speaker 2: hand holder guy. I just feel so uncomfortable.
- 10:26Speaker 9: I just feel.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Awkward doing it. And I don't know, do I go
- 10:29Speaker 2: forward or backwards? Am I a front hand guy or
- 10:31Speaker 2: a back hand guy?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 10:33Speaker 6: You can be whatever guy you want.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Do you cup front or cup back? no but you
- 10:36Speaker 2: gotta when you meet somebody and you go for the
- 10:38Speaker 2: first handhold you gotta slide in with the right puzzle
- 10:41Speaker 2: piece because if you have it wrong and it doesn't
- 10:43Speaker 2: jigsaw it's so awkward to fumble into the right grip
- 10:47Speaker 2: so true so that's i've it's actually easier to kiss
- 10:50Speaker 2: than it is to find the right handhold.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I think you gotta go over because i go under.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Yeah i think cisney's right no i've.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Gotten in there and had to adjust it before and
- 10:59Speaker 2: it's like i'm so sorry So I didn't read the
- 11:02Speaker 2: puzzle right. And the last annoying thing couples do, Plank,
- 11:05Speaker 2: puts you under the table. I'm with you. Today's quote,
- 11:08Speaker 2: your future needs you. Your past does not. Get over it.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Move on. This is Kiss.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I like it.
- 11:15Speaker 2: After seven o'clock, we need to talk about something that
- 11:19Speaker 2: I've noticed guys doing in the movies, on TV, and
- 11:24Speaker 2: I just can't do it. And I think it's taken
- 11:27Speaker 2: my marketability down.
- 11:30Speaker 6: How often are you doing this?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Impossible. I'm doing it every day wrong or not the
- 11:36Speaker 2: right way or not the cool way. We'll get into
- 11:37Speaker 2: it after seven to kiss FM. It's just need the headline.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Kiss FM headlines with Sissany.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Well, NBC fours news helicopter crashed in Chatsworth last night
- 11:46Speaker 9: while covering a deadly bus crash, killing three people, including
- 11:50Speaker 9: a local reporter and the pilot. Governor Gavin Newsom signed
- 11:54Speaker 9: a wildfire recovery package aimed at strengthening insurance coverage for
- 11:58Speaker 9: homeowners and improving testing standards.
- 12:01Speaker 2: The U.S.
- 12:02Speaker 9: Confirmed for the first time that it has weapons in space,
- 12:06Speaker 9: weaponizing a frontier long agreed in treaties to be used
- 12:10Speaker 9: only for peaceful purposes. And Universal Studios Hollywood is celebrating
- 12:15Speaker 9: the debut of its new roller coaster, Fast and Furious
- 12:17Speaker 9: Hollywood Drift, which officially opens to the public today.
- 12:21Speaker 2: I'm going to ask you something, and I've been noticing
- 12:24Speaker 2: this for a long time, and I keep trying it,
- 12:26Speaker 2: and I cannot do it comfortably. Let me bring in Ronnie. Ronnie,
- 12:30Speaker 2: you don't wear your shirt much, right?
- 12:33Speaker 5: That's so funny. Well, I do wear shirts. They're just
- 12:36Speaker 5: typically mesh. Or, yeah, sometimes I use them less.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Okay, or crop. So sometimes I can't see them without
- 12:41Speaker 2: my glasses. When you take your shirt off, how do
- 12:46Speaker 2: you do it?
- 12:47Speaker 5: It depends because I don't like to mess up my hair.
- 12:50Speaker 5: So I feel like if you're taking your shirt off
- 12:51Speaker 5: and you're doing the whole messing up your hair, that's
- 12:54Speaker 5: not cute. So I kind of do a thing where
- 12:56Speaker 5: I pull it from the bottom. I'm taking my shirt
- 12:59Speaker 5: off right now. But I pull it from the bottom
- 13:01Speaker 5: and then I'll stretch the neckline.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Collar? Yeah, the neckline. Boom. So it goes over kind
- 13:09Speaker 2: of cute. So I'm watching all these shows and every
- 13:14Speaker 2: time a guy... in the movie or this series I'm
- 13:18Speaker 2: watching takes off his shirt. He does it in such
- 13:20Speaker 2: a cool way where he crisscrosses his arms and he
- 13:23Speaker 2: pulls the shirt over the head and boom, there he
- 13:27Speaker 2: is completely skin right there, new shirt off all skin.
- 13:32Speaker 2: And he, he crisscrosses it off. I keep trying to
- 13:35Speaker 2: do that and I cannot do, I end up making
- 13:38Speaker 2: it the way I do. It looks like I'm taking
- 13:40Speaker 2: a sock off a foot, pulling it over my neck.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I can't get the cool energy.
- 13:45Speaker 2: Guy shirt takeoff move down. How does your husband take
- 13:49Speaker 2: off his shirt? Does he do it like this?
- 13:51Speaker 1: I don't think he does.
- 13:52Speaker 9: No, because they're never inside out. I think he like,
- 13:55Speaker 9: he pulls it over his head first and then just
- 13:56Speaker 9: takes it all off.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I do too, but it does not look hot.
- 14:00Speaker 2: It looks so much hotter.
- 14:01Speaker 6: That's how I take my shirt off is the crisscross.
- 14:05Speaker 2: But it's not easy. If you can do that, then
- 14:07Speaker 2: you have a skill.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Very easy.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I tried to do it. I practiced in the mirror
- 14:10Speaker 2: last night a couple times, and I still haven't been
- 14:12Speaker 2: able to get it.
- 14:12Speaker 6: This is the content you need to film. Why are
- 14:15Speaker 6: you not filming that?
- 14:18Speaker 2: You want me to film practicing the Brad Pitt shirt
- 14:21Speaker 2: take on me? You should watch Nick Jonas take his
- 14:24Speaker 2: shirt off, because he does it right.
- 14:26Speaker 1: What movie?
- 14:27Speaker 2: The latest one? Not Camp Rock. No, it was a
- 14:30Speaker 2: Brad Pitt. It was a Brad Pitt special. I can't remember.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I was old.
- 14:35Speaker 1: What was the one, the ballad song?
- 14:37Speaker 4: Tubbs.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I just ripped mine off like Hulk Hogan does.
- 14:40Speaker 6: He sure does.
- 14:42Speaker 2: That's not hot. It gets expensive, though, because I keep
- 14:44Speaker 2: having to buy shirts. Yeah, it's hotter to crisscross. All right,
- 14:48Speaker 2: I'm going to take, I'll practice a little bit. I
- 14:50Speaker 2: think girls like it, women like it when guys can
- 14:52Speaker 2: do that crisscross sort of pull off the shirt.
- 14:56Speaker 9: I don't know, because then the shirt's inside out and
- 14:57Speaker 9: then you have to put it right side out.
- 15:00Speaker 2: This is the way Glenn Powell would do it.
- 15:02Speaker 9: Yes!
- 15:02Speaker 2: So I'm going to practice. All right. Tanya has a
- 15:06Speaker 2: training report. Go for it.
- 15:07Speaker 6: So Justin and Hailey Bieber, they sat down for a
- 15:09Speaker 6: quick fire interview with W Magazine. And it was supposed
- 15:12Speaker 6: to be just like this cute little get to know
- 15:13Speaker 6: a segment, favorite movie, favorite city, favorite hobby, yada, yada.
- 15:17Speaker 6: But the answers were so flat that people started screenshotting them,
- 15:21Speaker 6: posting them everywhere. People were just basically saying, like, how
- 15:24Speaker 6: boring are they? When they asked Haley her favorite hobby,
- 15:29Speaker 6: she said, I don't have a fun hobby. Then Justin's
- 15:33Speaker 6: favorite movie of all time is The Breakup. Yes, it's
- 15:36Speaker 6: the movie about a couple falling apart. They were also
- 15:40Speaker 6: asked their favorite books to which Justin replied his was
- 15:43Speaker 6: the Bible. And Haley said as a kid, Angelina Ballerina
- 15:47Speaker 6: was her favorite book. So people were just ripping them
- 15:51Speaker 6: apart like for these answers. But like, If somebody asked
- 15:56Speaker 6: me like my favorite book, I don't even know what
- 16:00Speaker 6: I would say because I don't really read books. So
- 16:02Speaker 6: I would just probably say the book that I wrote
- 16:04Speaker 6: or like, you know what I mean? Like I would
- 16:06Speaker 6: have no answer either. And then my biggest pet peeve
- 16:09Speaker 6: is when people say, what's your hobby? Like on dating apps,
- 16:13Speaker 6: I was like the biggest question.
- 16:14Speaker 2: What's your hobby?
- 16:15Speaker 6: Who has a hobby? Like I don't have a hobby.
- 16:17Speaker 6: I wake up, I go to work, I come home,
- 16:19Speaker 6: I have dinner. I watch some fun TV on the
- 16:22Speaker 6: TV and I.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Go to bed.
- 16:25Speaker 2: What do you do for fun?
- 16:26Speaker 6: I hang out with my friends. That's not a hobby.
- 16:29Speaker 1: But a lot of people do have hobbies.
- 16:30Speaker 2: No, you do more things. You do activities.
- 16:32Speaker 6: I work out, but that's not a hobby. My workout
- 16:35Speaker 6: is for my mental, physical health. It's not a hobby.
- 16:40Speaker 6: Do you know what I mean? I get Hailey Bieber saying,
- 16:42Speaker 6: I don't have a fun hobby because I have the
- 16:44Speaker 6: exact same answer.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean... people coming after them. That's crazy. But like,
- 16:49Speaker 2: for example, I think exercise can be a hobby.
- 16:52Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Matter of fact, didn't you recommend this yoga person to me?
- 16:55Speaker 4: Yes.
- 16:56Speaker 6: Do you like him?
- 16:57Speaker 2: Did you send me Tio's name?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Yes.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:01Speaker 2: So she does a lot of yoga. What would you
- 17:05Speaker 2: hold on for a second? I said, I want to
- 17:07Speaker 2: do some yoga. Do you know anybody? She goes, there's
- 17:09Speaker 2: a guy named Tio. So I call Tio Tio and
- 17:13Speaker 2: I meet up and we start to do some yoga.
- 17:16Speaker 2: And Tio and I are talking, I'm not great at
- 17:19Speaker 2: the yoga, but I want to be better at it.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Cause everybody says you got to stretch it out. You
- 17:24Speaker 2: got to make it work, blah, blah.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I feel intimidated when I get in classes too.
- 17:29Speaker 2: This guy says to me, have you ever tried yin yoga? Hmm.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I said, Teal, I don't even know what yin yoga is.
- 17:36Speaker 2: He said, it's basically where you sit on the mat
- 17:39Speaker 2: and you hold a stretch or a pose or whatever
- 17:41Speaker 2: those things are for a long time. And it opens
- 17:43Speaker 2: you up and it cracks your central nervous system. And
- 17:46Speaker 2: all of a sudden, nothing bothers you. Traffic, kids, parents, relationships.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It all rolls off your back. I said, I want
- 17:53Speaker 2: yin yoga, Teal. That's the comp... Calm down. He said,
- 17:57Speaker 2: don't get so excited. That's supposed to be the opposite
- 17:59Speaker 2: of that. So you sit in these painful positions. Then
- 18:03Speaker 2: all of a sudden, nothing bothers you all day. It
- 18:05Speaker 2: is my new hobby.
- 18:07Speaker 6: What is the stretch?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Is it like a butterfly stretch? What are you doing?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Show me something. I do a cricket. I do a cricket.
- 18:14Speaker 2: What's that thing called? A grasshopper. I do a grasshopper.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I do some cats. I do some cows. I do
- 18:19Speaker 2: all the animals that are pets. I do all those things.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I do some frog. I don't say it, but I'm
- 18:25Speaker 2: telling you, this is my new hobby. Yin yoga. Tio,
- 18:29Speaker 2: I meant to tell you.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Thank you for Tio.
- 18:32Speaker 6: Well, to be fair, I did give you two because
- 18:33Speaker 6: I was like, I need to give Ryan options.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Who's the other one?
- 18:36Speaker 6: I gave you Laura. Tio and Laura.
- 18:39Speaker 1: You picked the dude.
- 18:42Speaker 2: No, Tio picked me.
- 18:45Speaker 6: I'm so glad you have a hobby because I don't
- 18:47Speaker 6: have one.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Try some Yin yoga.
- 18:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I should.
- 18:50Speaker 2: That'll make you not care if you have a hobby
- 18:52Speaker 2: or not. That's true. We are going to play How
- 18:56Speaker 2: Long is the Wait for Disneyland tickets now on Kiss FM.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Got a four-pack every hour for Halloween time this time
- 19:02Speaker 2: of year. Brianna in Pasadena, how are you? Good.
- 19:05Speaker 3: How are you?
- 19:05Speaker 2: I'm super good. So a four-pack of Disneyland tickets. Here's
- 19:11Speaker 2: what you're going to play.
- 19:12Speaker 8: Ready?
- 19:12Speaker 2: Here we go. How long is the wait? How long
- 19:16Speaker 2: is the wait? We've analyzed all night last night the
- 19:20Speaker 2: wait time data. Over the last six years at Disneyland,
- 19:23Speaker 2: I'm going to give you an attraction. You tell me
- 19:25Speaker 2: if the wait time on September 16th today is, on average,
- 19:29Speaker 2: longer or shorter than 45 minutes. Are you ready? Yes. Okay,
- 19:35Speaker 2: you've got to get three right before you get three wrong. Okay.
- 19:38Speaker 2: First one. Haunted Mansion. Is it longer or shorter than
- 19:42Speaker 2: 45 minutes today? Average.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Longer, for sure. That's such a popular ride.
- 19:49Speaker 2: 59 minutes and 86. seconds. Yes, it is my favorite ride. Wow.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Tiana's Bayou Adventure, formerly Splash Mountain. Is that longer or
- 20:00Speaker 2: shorter than 45 minutes?
- 20:02Speaker 3: Longer, for sure.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Yes, it's longer. 58 minutes. Wow. A foot away. This
- 20:07Speaker 2: is it. Big Thunder Mountain. Is it longer or shorter
- 20:12Speaker 2: than 45 minutes?
- 20:15Speaker 7: Longer.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's shorter.
- 20:18Speaker 3: 38.12.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Oh, no. Here's another one that's been there for a
- 20:23Speaker 2: long time. Space Mountain. Longer or shorter than 45 minutes
- 20:26Speaker 2: on this date every year?
- 20:32Speaker 3: I'm going to say shorter than 45 minutes.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's longer. Now you're down to one to stay alive.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Okay. On September 16th.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Okay.
- 20:48Speaker 2: On average. Is the Pirates of the Caribbean longer or
- 20:52Speaker 2: shorter than 45 minutes?
- 20:56Speaker 3: I'm going to say shorter. I feel like it's a
- 20:58Speaker 3: quick ride.
- 20:59Speaker 4: It is.
- 21:01Speaker 2: It is shorter.
- 21:03Speaker 6: Congratulations.
- 21:03Speaker 2: You're going to ride a ride. You got the Halloween
- 21:06Speaker 2: time tickets at Disneyland.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Thank you so much. My son's going to be so excited.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Thank you, Brianna, for listening to Kiss Our Family. Love
- 21:14Speaker 2: you for that. On air with Ryan Seacrest. Karina is
- 21:21Speaker 2: on the phone. Hi, Karina. Good morning. How are you doing?
- 21:23Speaker 10: Hi, I'm all right.
- 21:25Speaker 3: How are you?
- 21:27Speaker 2: Well, first of all, go Bruins. Welcome to school. You're
- 21:29Speaker 2: going to school in Westwood?
- 21:31Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm a freshman at UCLA. What's it like to
- 21:36Speaker 10: be a freshman down there today?
- 21:37Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 21:39Speaker 10: My mom has planned our entire day. She wants to
- 21:43Speaker 10: drive me to campus and help me unpack.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cute.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 10: She wants to do everything, meet my roommate, and then
- 21:52Speaker 10: take me out to dinner before she's heading home.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 21:56Speaker 10: I kind of don't want her to do any of it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: But why is that? Do you have a good relationship
- 22:01Speaker 2: with your mom?
- 22:02Speaker 1: It's like a rite of passage. She has to do this.
- 22:05Speaker 10: Yeah, I love my mom, but I want my first
- 22:08Speaker 10: day of college to feel like my first day of college.
- 22:11Speaker 10: Like I want to meet my roommate on my own
- 22:13Speaker 10: and figure out where everything is and maybe go out
- 22:16Speaker 10: with the people on my floor that night, you know?
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I get that.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Look, a lot of parents are going to be doing
- 22:23Speaker 2: the same thing at campus. This is something, as Cisney said,
- 22:28Speaker 2: you got to just let her do it. She's letting
- 22:30Speaker 2: you go. This is a small sacrifice in the long
- 22:34Speaker 2: game here of all the years you're going to be
- 22:36Speaker 2: at school without her. So I think you pick and
- 22:38Speaker 2: choose your battles. That's one of the things you learn
- 22:40Speaker 2: when you become a freshman. You got to pick and
- 22:42Speaker 2: choose your battles. You're on your own now. This is
- 22:44Speaker 2: one I would not fight. I think it's actually great.
- 22:47Speaker 2: It's better because let me tell you this. If you
- 22:49Speaker 2: have the other way around and you had a parent
- 22:51Speaker 2: that didn't want to show up to support you, it
- 22:53Speaker 2: would be worse. This is the, this is the good
- 22:56Speaker 2: end of annoying versus the bad end of annoying. So
- 22:59Speaker 2: let her have her day.
- 23:00Speaker 3: All right.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Okay.
- 23:03Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 10: She can be a lot, but you know, I know
- 23:06Speaker 10: this is a huge moment for her too. So yeah.
- 23:10Speaker 1: No, this is your mom.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And she's offering to take you to dinner. Take her
- 23:15Speaker 2: up on that. Exactly. Life in the real world is expensive, okay?
- 23:19Speaker 4: Okay.
- 23:20Speaker 10: Well, thank you.
- 23:20Speaker 2: All right. I'll let her do it.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Go for it.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you can. I mean, I understand she's
- 23:26Speaker 2: so excited to run away on her own, but you
- 23:29Speaker 2: got to let mom enjoy that last send off.
- 23:32Speaker 9: I still remember my parents moving me into my dorms
- 23:35Speaker 9: at San Diego State and my dad carrying a big,
- 23:39Speaker 9: Box TV up seven flights of stairs because all the
- 23:42Speaker 9: elevators were backed up. And like, you have to have
- 23:44Speaker 9: that memory with your parents.
- 23:46Speaker 2: It was cool.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 23:48Speaker 3: It was.
- 23:48Speaker 2: And that was it. Then they went home.
- 23:50Speaker 1: All the parents are there.
- 23:51Speaker 2: It wasn't that long. It wasn't that big of a deal.
- 23:52Speaker 2: All the parents are there anyway. Seacrest here. All right.
- 23:56Speaker 2: It is, I guess today's the day. It's finally open
- 23:59Speaker 2: at Universal Studios, the Fast and Furious ride. It's called
- 24:02Speaker 2: Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift. And there was a lot
- 24:06Speaker 2: of buildup. The construction, the noise complaints, neighbors were up
- 24:09Speaker 2: in arms, new laws had to be passed, massive sound
- 24:12Speaker 2: barriers installed, and today finally is the day. What a
- 24:15Speaker 2: lot of hoops to go through to open up this
- 24:17Speaker 2: thrill ride.
- 24:18Speaker 9: Exactly, because it's kind of a crazy roller coaster when
- 24:22Speaker 9: you think about it. It hits 72 miles per hour,
- 24:25Speaker 9: first of all, and the track stretches more than 4,100 feet.
- 24:30Speaker 9: So it's even flying over parts of the park and
- 24:32Speaker 9: the escalators between the upper and lower lots.
- 24:35Speaker 1: This roller coaster is massive.
- 24:39Speaker 9: And I think the coolest part, which we can all
- 24:40Speaker 9: agree on, is that the cars are actually rotating 360 as.
- 24:44Speaker 2: You're on the track.
- 24:46Speaker 6: You know, they put the Love Island cast on this
- 24:50Speaker 6: ride at the reunion and showed us like we watched
- 24:53Speaker 6: them ride the ride in the reunion.
- 24:55Speaker 2: It looked really cool.
- 24:56Speaker 1: It looks scary.
- 24:57Speaker 9: I honestly don't know if I like have the guts
- 25:00Speaker 9: to get on this ride.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Do you like, I.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Think this spinning around part, I don't know what you
- 25:06Speaker 2: talk about. 4,100 feet. I was funny. My brain can't calculate.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Is that long? 4,100.
- 25:10Speaker 1: That's a lot of feet.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I don't, I don't, I know a hundred yards. that's
- 25:18Speaker 2: all I know you just gotta tell me how many football.
- 25:20Speaker 9: Fields that's 300 feet so one football okay this is
- 25:23Speaker 9: you're gonna figure it out now a football no listen
- 25:26Speaker 9: a football field is 300 feet okay we're talking about
- 25:31Speaker 9: 4,100 feet that's a lot of football fields if you
- 25:33Speaker 9: connect them all to make.
- 25:34Speaker 2: This roller coaster how many football fields since you opened
- 25:36Speaker 2: up this can of worms is it.
- 25:37Speaker 6: How many football fields so 300 so 4,100 divided by
- 25:40Speaker 6: 300 hold on let's do that oh my gosh well.
- 25:43Speaker 2: You went anyway I'll be over here 13 so it
- 25:46Speaker 2: goes 17 miles per hour That's a lot. The spinning
- 25:50Speaker 2: of the car is what freaks me out.
- 25:52Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:52Speaker 9: It really does because at some point you're actually hanging
- 25:55Speaker 9: off of the track because if the car is sideways
- 25:58Speaker 9: on the track, then your body is not even on
- 26:00Speaker 9: the track and it's spinning 360.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Here's the kind.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Of guy I am. Here's the kind of guy I am.
- 26:06Speaker 2: It's brand new, right?
- 26:08Speaker 6: Yes.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Some of the first riders out there on that thing, right?
- 26:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Oh, I know what you're going to say.
- 26:14Speaker 2: I'm going to be a gentleman. And I am going
- 26:17Speaker 2: to let you and Tanya ride this three or four times.
- 26:20Speaker 1: And you're going to hold our purses.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I'm just going to make sure the thing stays on
- 26:24Speaker 2: the track. And that car spins the right way. And
- 26:28Speaker 2: I will hold your purses. And then I'll go. But please,
- 26:31Speaker 2: be my guest. Be my guest. That's the wrong part.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But you know what I mean.
- 26:34Speaker 1: You go first.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Kiss FM. Got an email from a woman looking for
- 26:38Speaker 2: help for a great cause. I want to share this
- 26:40Speaker 2: with you next. We got this email from a woman
- 26:44Speaker 2: named Tiffany. And let me read it to you. She says,
- 26:47Speaker 2: I volunteer for Operation Help a Hero. And we were
- 26:50Speaker 2: at Camp Pendleton to make bags for 600 troops coming in.
- 26:53Speaker 2: The bags are filled with items like a bath towel, toothpaste, deodorant,
- 26:56Speaker 2: shaving cream, and socks. We ended up running out of
- 26:59Speaker 2: bath towels. We'll be back on September 26th, just around
- 27:02Speaker 2: the corner, to welcome home 1,000 troops. They're coming back,
- 27:05Speaker 2: these troops. They're on their way home, 1,000 of them,
- 27:08Speaker 2: and wanted to see if you had any interest, us,
- 27:10Speaker 2: in donating some bath towels. These men and women come
- 27:13Speaker 2: back in the middle of the night, And they have nothing.
- 27:15Speaker 2: So when we have these bags for them, it really
- 27:18Speaker 2: is a wonderful thing. And they are beyond grateful. Thank you, Tiffany.
- 27:22Speaker 2: So let me grab Tiffany here. Good morning, Tiffany. Thank
- 27:27Speaker 2: you so much for sending your email. And I think
- 27:29Speaker 2: it's wonderful what you're doing. How did you get into
- 27:31Speaker 2: helping out the troops?
- 27:34Speaker 4: Well, my dad was a Marine, so you always find
- 27:37Speaker 4: a cause that's near and dear to your heart. And
- 27:39Speaker 4: so that's how I started volunteering for Operation Help a Hero,
- 27:43Speaker 4: which is quite an amazing organization. If you saw from
- 27:47Speaker 4: my email, they were founded in 2001 from an amazing
- 27:51Speaker 4: woman named Cindy, and she's been welcoming home troops ever since.
- 27:56Speaker 4: So I'm happy to be a part of it.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Well, we thank you for reaching out to us. And
- 28:01Speaker 2: it looks like here from what I read, you need towels.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Yes. So basically, one thing you learn that I did
- 28:09Speaker 4: not know volunteering, which, by the way, this is all
- 28:12Speaker 4: 100 percent volunteer based on profit, which is very unique.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I love.
- 28:15Speaker 4: So every dollar that's donated gets placed right back into
- 28:19Speaker 4: the troops. And these men and women come home in
- 28:24Speaker 4: the middle of the night to their barracks. So they
- 28:27Speaker 4: come home with the clothes on their back and then
- 28:29Speaker 4: their backpack. So we fill these bags. Yeah, I was
- 28:33Speaker 4: unaware as well. And so when they're coming in, they
- 28:35Speaker 4: literally have nothing. And so making these welcome bags that
- 28:39Speaker 4: we put together has a towel, you know, deodorant, shaving cream,
- 28:42Speaker 4: just some of the basics. But that is just a
- 28:46Speaker 4: huge component is that towel. Because what happens when you
- 28:48Speaker 4: come home, right? After a long day, you want to
- 28:50Speaker 4: take a shower, right? Well, they want to do the same,
- 28:53Speaker 4: especially being gone for 10 months, a year plus, whatever
- 28:56Speaker 4: that may be. So yes, towels are in big need
- 29:01Speaker 4: of a donation without a doubt for all these men
- 29:04Speaker 4: and women that really serve for us.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Well, this is definitely something that we should think about
- 29:10Speaker 2: after they are serving for us. My both my father
- 29:13Speaker 2: and my grandfather were in the Army, so I grew
- 29:15Speaker 2: up around a lot of Army as a child. And
- 29:19Speaker 2: how many towels short are you for the 1,000 troops
- 29:22Speaker 2: coming back on the 26th?
- 29:24Speaker 4: Well, we actually have, in the next three months, we
- 29:27Speaker 4: will be welcoming home 3,000 troops. So any little bit helps.
- 29:33Speaker 4: On their website, people can donate. We have an Amazon
- 29:36Speaker 4: wish list, so if they just want to go to
- 29:37Speaker 4: that link and they can get towels, and have it
- 29:40Speaker 4: sent right there to it. So we're just, you know,
- 29:43Speaker 4: starting again at Ground Zero to do what we can
- 29:46Speaker 4: and try to get as many as possible for our troops.
- 29:49Speaker 2: We were prepared to give you a thousand towels, but
- 29:52Speaker 2: I think we should give you three thousand towels if
- 29:53Speaker 2: that's what you need.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Wow. That would be absolutely incredible. Thank you.
- 29:59Speaker 10: Yes.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Sometimes what happens is, you know, we are told, you know,
- 30:03Speaker 4: some coming in and then sometimes more coming through. So, um,
- 30:07Speaker 4: that would be so appreciative. Uh, that would be amazing.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yes, we, uh, what we'll do and I'll make sure
- 30:14Speaker 2: that we follow through with this is however many troops
- 30:17Speaker 2: are coming in, we'll get a towel for each one
- 30:19Speaker 2: of those. And it's the least we can do for
- 30:22Speaker 2: everybody that's out there fighting for our country.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Couldn't agree more. And thank you so much. Very grateful
- 30:26Speaker 4: for your kindness and stepping up for them. Appreciate it.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Know that anyone can go to OperationHelpTheHero.org if they want to,
- 30:34Speaker 4: you know, check out the website and donate as well.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Tiffany. I appreciate you bringing this
- 30:40Speaker 2: to our attention. And I have to just think about
- 30:42Speaker 2: the families, the kids, the moms and dads that are
- 30:45Speaker 2: so excited about their partners, their husbands, their wives, their
- 30:49Speaker 2: moms and dads coming back. It's just got to be
- 30:52Speaker 2: The days between now and then, it's going to be
- 30:54Speaker 2: a long time, but it's going to go fast, and
- 30:56Speaker 2: we want them to have the best reentry possible. So, Tiffany,
- 30:59Speaker 2: hold on one second. We'll make sure we get all
- 31:00Speaker 2: this for you at Kiss FM. Sisney will tell you
- 31:03Speaker 2: what's new this morning. It's OperationHelpAHero.org or at OperationHelpAHero on Instagram.
- 31:11Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest. Kiss FM. I'm going to
- 31:17Speaker 2: get the relationship brain trust over here. Sisney and Tanya
- 31:21Speaker 2: pop into the back room for a second. So all
- 31:24Speaker 2: good news for Michaela once I endorsed her on Hinge.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Look at this. Now she's got another issue, but it's
- 31:28Speaker 2: a good issue. All kinds of traffic wanting to meet
- 31:32Speaker 2: Michaela now. After I said you should meet her, she's
- 31:34Speaker 2: a good human. She's skippity and works for us here
- 31:36Speaker 2: at Kids FM. Testimonial inside Hinge. So your friend met
- 31:42Speaker 2: a guy on the dating app. He liked you first.
- 31:45Speaker 2: It's an embarrassment of riches for you, Michaela. It can't
- 31:48Speaker 2: get any better. But what's your question?
- 31:51Speaker 6: So he liked me and Raya.
- 31:53Speaker 8: We matched. We started talking. But he told me that
- 31:56Speaker 8: he didn't want anything serious. He wanted something casual. And
- 31:59Speaker 8: so I kind of just moved on. I was like,
- 32:01Speaker 8: I'm not into that.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 32:03Speaker 8: My friend showed me a picture of this guy she's
- 32:05Speaker 8: been talking to.
- 32:06Speaker 1: And it's this guy. So now do I... Tell her that,
- 32:09Speaker 1: oh yeah.
- 32:10Speaker 8: We match, but he's not looking for anything. Or do
- 32:12Speaker 8: I just kind of let it be and let her
- 32:14Speaker 8: figure it out?
- 32:15Speaker 2: Do you want to be a friend or not?
- 32:17Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 6: But I feel like she'll feel bad if I say, oh,
- 32:22Speaker 6: he likes me first.
- 32:24Speaker 2: No.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, like how do you say it without sounding arrogant?
- 32:26Speaker 6: No, and also it doesn't matter. It doesn't, just because
- 32:29Speaker 6: you match first doesn't really mean anything. It's just the
- 32:32Speaker 6: way the algorithm. Yeah, just the way the algorithm puts
- 32:34Speaker 6: you guys.
- 32:35Speaker 2: And the guy may not really like you at all.
- 32:37Speaker 2: But he just said, I like you in the dating app.
- 32:40Speaker 2: The thing is, Michaela, I'm trying to see around corners here, okay?
- 32:45Speaker 2: Don't get caught up on the corner. Look around it.
- 32:47Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Because when you look around the corner, let's say they meet.
- 32:49Speaker 2: Let's say they hang out. Let's say he somehow stumbles
- 32:51Speaker 2: upon the fact that you guys were liking or he
- 32:54Speaker 2: was liking you. Now you've got to explain yourself, and
- 32:57Speaker 2: that looks deceitful. True.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Huh?
- 33:01Speaker 1: I get it.
- 33:05Speaker 2: What don't you understand?
- 33:07Speaker 6: He looks deceitful?
- 33:09Speaker 1: She does. Mikayla does.
- 33:10Speaker 2: She looks deceitful. She's running a cover-up. Oh, I see,
- 33:13Speaker 2: I see. Okay, okay. So nip it in the bud sooner.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Okay, I'll tell her.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I'll tell her.
- 33:22Speaker 6: Now Ryan's going to just do all Mikayla's dirty work.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Leave another voicemail.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I got some time in between the commercials here. I'll
- 33:30Speaker 2: call people. 102.7 Kiss FM. Guess what we're almost doing?
- 33:34Speaker 2: We're about to get almost a tattoo of the staff,
- 33:37Speaker 2: a staff tattoo.
- 33:39Speaker 6: No, I love that you said the tattoo that we
- 33:40Speaker 6: might be getting. You said maybe, might, perhaps be getting,
- 33:44Speaker 6: like you keep adding.
- 33:45Speaker 2: No, we, I think at one point we had said,
- 33:49Speaker 2: what a great idea to get a tattoo, all of
- 33:51Speaker 2: us the same thing. And I said, oak tree roots.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be great? Obviously symbolic of strength and longevity.
- 33:58Speaker 2: And you guys didn't love it. So Heather heard all
- 34:03Speaker 2: of that. And Heather designed a really super cool tattoo
- 34:09Speaker 2: for us. Heather is in North Carolina listening, and she
- 34:13Speaker 2: took the time out of her day to basically draw
- 34:17Speaker 2: up what our staff tattoo is probably going to be
- 34:19Speaker 2: when we almost get it. Heather, good morning.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 34:24Speaker 4: I have to confess, though, I cheated a little bit.
- 34:28Speaker 3: I called my dear friend, ChatGPT, for help.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Okay, that's all right. Well, thank you for listening in
- 34:35Speaker 2: North Carolina. How do you listen?
- 34:37Speaker 10: Yes. Well, I caught the clip on Instagram.
- 34:41Speaker 3: So that's where I saw everything.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Good job, Ronnie, posting that stuff up there, getting the gram.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't miss anything with Tanya because I love
- 34:51Speaker 3: her facial expressions. They kill me every single time.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Funny enough, so do we. Yeah, exactly.
- 34:57Speaker 1: That's why she's here.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah, last time I made something for Tanya, it took
- 35:02Speaker 3: me like weeks. I'm the one that actually did her
- 35:04Speaker 3: Dear Mrs. Yadigar book for the Scrubbing In podcast.
- 35:08Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 35:09Speaker 3: That was so beautiful.
- 35:11Speaker 9: That was you?
- 35:13Speaker 10: It was.
- 35:14Speaker 6: Oh, my God. That book made me cry my eyes out.
- 35:18Speaker 6: That was the most beautiful thing ever. Heather, I love you.
- 35:23Speaker 3: I love you right back.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Well, guess what? You can return all the love here
- 35:29Speaker 2: by putting the tattoo on your body that she's designed
- 35:32Speaker 2: for the staff because it's very beautiful.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Do you know what this made me realize? Ryan, your
- 35:36Speaker 6: initials are a combination of mine and Sisney's initials because
- 35:41Speaker 6: you get the R from Rad and the S from Sisney.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I didn't realize that until I looked at this tattoo
- 35:47Speaker 2: sketch that we're going to have soon. Yeah, it's so cool.
- 35:50Speaker 2: So the drawing, Ronnie, can people see this? Can we
- 35:54Speaker 2: post it? Yes, I'll post this. It's actually very cute.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Where are you going to put it?
- 35:59Speaker 5: I'll put it up on Instagram at 1027kissfm.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Okay, so she designed this. What is it? It's an
- 36:07Speaker 2: oak tree. The infinity symbol. It's an evil eye and
- 36:11Speaker 2: our initials, right?
- 36:14Speaker 3: It's everything that you guys were asking for.
- 36:17Speaker 2: It's great.
- 36:17Speaker 9: So the roots of the oak tree turn into the
- 36:21Speaker 9: infinity symbol.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Yes.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Yeah, because we'll be rooted in whatever forever, together forever. Yes.
- 36:29Speaker 2: And then the eye is watching out for evil for us.
- 36:31Speaker 9: Yes.
- 36:32Speaker 2: And then those are our initials inside the roots. It's
- 36:35Speaker 2: actually quite beautiful. Where will we put this? That needs
- 36:37Speaker 2: a lot of real estate. That's a big oak tree.
- 36:39Speaker 1: It is.
- 36:40Speaker 3: It doesn't have to be big.
- 36:42Speaker 2: How am I going to explain? So when my wedding
- 36:46Speaker 2: day is, how am I going to explain T-R-N-S-V on
- 36:50Speaker 2: my ankle? Right? That's going to be a crisis.
- 36:53Speaker 3: I feel like it has to be somewhere where you
- 36:54Speaker 3: can hide it.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Well, that's even worse if it's on the lower part
- 36:58Speaker 2: of my back.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Definitely not your lower back.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Why not?
- 37:03Speaker 1: You don't want it on the lower back.
- 37:06Speaker 2: How do you know what I want on my lower back?
- 37:08Speaker 1: I know what you want and you don't want that.
- 37:10Speaker 1: And the woman that you're going to be with doesn't
- 37:12Speaker 1: want that either.
- 37:13Speaker 10: She's not going.
- 37:14Speaker 2: To be back there. What's she doing back there?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Is she in a bathing suit now?
- 37:20Speaker 2: No, I pull it up. I hike it. She's got
- 37:28Speaker 2: it all wrong. Come around here. Around here.
- 37:32Speaker 1: This is great.
- 37:35Speaker 2: It's going viral. It's all going viral. Thank you very much.
- 37:39Speaker 9: Thank you, Heather.
- 37:39Speaker 2: We appreciate you, Heather. We will let you know once
- 37:42Speaker 2: we've set our appointment to go one night to the
- 37:44Speaker 2: Sunset Strip and maybe put this on our body. All right?
- 37:47Speaker 2: You got it.
- 37:48Speaker 6: Thank you, Heather.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Thank you. I love her. It's very cool. If we
- 37:52Speaker 2: don't get on our bodies, let's at least print it
- 37:54Speaker 2: up and put it on the wall here in the studio.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 37:57Speaker 10: I'm good with that.
- 37:59Speaker 2: That's going to wrap it up for us. Thanks so
- 38:00Speaker 2: much for being here. If you missed anything today, it's
- 38:02Speaker 2: up on our podcast, wherever you get yours, On Air
- 38:04Speaker 2: with Ryan Seacrest. That's what it's called. We're back tomorrow
- 38:08Speaker 2: with Ryan Drozd. This takes you to the next hour
- 38:11Speaker 2: on Kiss FM. Have a good one. Thanks for listening
