- 0:00Speaker 1: I was going on as Romeo, what did we get
- 0:01Speaker 1: into today? We've got to do a few things. We
- 0:03Speaker 1: talked about this homeless person asked me for money, but
- 0:06Speaker 1: they were walking around with more money than I had.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Getting kids free haircuts. We're gonna do that as well.
- 0:12Speaker 2: And then of.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Course we talked about haircuts. Just how much do you
- 0:15Speaker 1: spend today?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Yesterday? Last night?
- 0:18Speaker 1: I was I was hungry, and I didn't really have
- 0:22Speaker 1: any food in the house, and I wasn't going to
- 0:24Speaker 1: go go out and buy something. So I thought, you
- 0:27Speaker 1: know what, when I was a kid, when we were kids,
- 0:30Speaker 1: I had some tortillas, some flower tortillas, and it was
- 0:34Speaker 1: just the old school mission flower tortillas.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I had some.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Ham, and I mean I could have made a ham sandwich.
- 0:40Speaker 1: But I thought, when I was a kid, what we
- 0:43Speaker 1: used to do as kids is we would take a
- 0:44Speaker 1: flower tortilla. We would take a piece of kirkland Ham,
- 0:49Speaker 1: you know the costco ham, and we would put a
- 0:52Speaker 1: Craft single in it, and or two because the Kirkland
- 0:58Speaker 1: Ham's pretty big. And we take coupanies of ham, take
- 1:01Speaker 1: couplies of Craft singles, throw it in a tortilla, toss
- 1:04Speaker 1: it in the microwave for thirty seconds or whatever it was,
- 1:07Speaker 1: twenty five seconds, however long it takes to heat everything.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Up, roll it up, and we'd eat it.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I don't know why we did that as kids, but
- 1:16Speaker 1: because maybe that's because what we always had in the
- 1:18Speaker 1: house or our friends always had in the house. So
- 1:22Speaker 1: can I just tell you how horrible that is? Oh
- 1:24Speaker 1: my god, I took one bite and threw it away
- 1:27Speaker 1: and I didn't eat. So I'm gonna have to eat
- 1:29Speaker 1: today when I leave the when I leave the studio.
- 1:33Speaker 2: But we used to love that as kids, do you?
- 1:37Speaker 1: I mean, just some of the things we ate when
- 1:39Speaker 1: we were young and we loved is absolutely insane. Would
- 1:46Speaker 1: you eat it today? Do you still eat? I mean,
- 1:48Speaker 1: think about back in the day what you ate as
- 1:50Speaker 1: a kid, you know, and what you eat today? And
- 1:55Speaker 1: would you go back or do you still eat the
- 1:57Speaker 1: things that you weigh as a kid. But Ham and
- 1:59Speaker 1: she in a flour tortilla was nasty? You know what
- 2:02Speaker 1: else we used to do before I knew how to
- 2:05Speaker 1: really make a grilled cheese sandwich and it was real,
- 2:08Speaker 1: we used to just take toast and craft seaingles and
- 2:13Speaker 1: once it popped out, the toaster you catch it while
- 2:16Speaker 1: it was hot, throw that cheese in that bread, and
- 2:18Speaker 1: that was our sandwich. That was our grilled cheese.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Gosh, I'm trying to think of all the other silly things.
- 2:26Speaker 2: I remember.
- 2:27Speaker 1: When I was in high school, we used to have
- 2:30Speaker 1: an off campus lunch and we would go eat nachos.
- 2:34Speaker 1: We would go to seven eleven because that was the
- 2:36Speaker 1: closest place we can make it too on our bikes
- 2:40Speaker 1: and get back in time for lunch with seven eleven
- 2:43Speaker 1: and we eat those nachos and that cheese with that
- 2:45Speaker 1: chili which I don't even know if it was real
- 2:47Speaker 1: chili or real cheese, but I ain't gonna lie. I
- 2:49Speaker 1: would never eat that again. The chips were staled. And
- 2:52Speaker 1: I nothing against seven to eleven. I still like their slurpies,
- 2:55Speaker 1: but man, it was not good. So what did you
- 3:01Speaker 1: eat as a kid, man? And would you eat it today?
- 3:04Speaker 2: Telling you?
- 3:04Speaker 1: Last night, I ate something that I hadn't eaten since
- 3:06Speaker 1: I was a kid. That was a tortilla with Ham
- 3:09Speaker 1: kirkling Ham and craft singles, sticking the microwave for a
- 3:13Speaker 1: couple of minutes and yeah, or a couple of seconds,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and oh it was so bad. I don't know how
- 3:18Speaker 1: I eat it as a kid. Good morning, how what's
- 3:20Speaker 1: going on?
- 3:21Speaker 3: Come on to room?
- 3:22Speaker 4: I mean up, I know subject.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I'm just calling because I was hearing your story about
- 3:26Speaker 5: your ham for tilla microwave situation.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, hold up, all right, So I grew up for
- 3:32Speaker 2: to bo.
- 3:33Speaker 5: I don't know my two biggest meals when I when
- 3:36Speaker 5: I was a kid. I don't know if you ever
- 3:37Speaker 5: had just a straight plane loafer loaf of bread, wrong,
- 3:42Speaker 5: just straight wrong loaf of bread and just gust it
- 3:45Speaker 5: and uh cyrum, no gusting and thrum, making me like
- 3:50Speaker 5: three sandwich of the little glass of milk. Amazed everyone
- 3:55Speaker 5: id I tore it to him out there. I went ahead, dude,
- 3:57Speaker 5: that thing was amazing. I kind of trying it again.
- 4:00Speaker 5: We'll not reach me, but a couple of years back
- 4:01Speaker 5: because I used to love it. Yeah, man, how about
- 4:04Speaker 5: you that.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I'm like, what the heck?
- 4:09Speaker 4: And then I was I used to do you get
- 4:11Speaker 4: your tills. It's funny that you said that totilla was
- 4:13Speaker 4: because I used to get tortillas put cheese. Because I
- 4:16Speaker 4: was the keeper study you can buy right to and WEENI,
- 4:19Speaker 4: so I would get tortillas put a bunch of cheese
- 4:22Speaker 4: and uh in a tortilla with the weenie.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Yeah, oh my god, there's that.
- 4:28Speaker 1: We live.
- 4:28Speaker 5: I lived off those.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Try Why don't you try that tonight for dinner. See
- 4:33Speaker 2: what happens.
- 4:35Speaker 5: After?
- 4:35Speaker 3: I tried to service.
- 4:36Speaker 4: But I know it's gonna do the same.
- 4:37Speaker 2: But was I thinking, yeah, it's awful, all right, man,
- 4:44Speaker 2: all right? Seven and seven?
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just uh nasty stuff we ate when you
- 4:49Speaker 1: were uh he never eat it again, man, I remember
- 4:53Speaker 1: we used to eat We take plain rice, plain white rice,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and we just put a cam a horn chili on
- 5:00Speaker 1: it with some crackers, with some saltines. Yeah, we ate
- 5:04Speaker 1: some ridiculous dishes when we were kids, man, or when
- 5:08Speaker 1: we were younger, or when we were poor.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Talk about some of the things you ate as a
- 5:13Speaker 2: child that.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Or maybe when you were poor. And man, boy, you
- 5:18Speaker 1: don't want to do that again?
- 5:19Speaker 3: Right?
- 5:20Speaker 2: And what were you even thinking? Yo?
- 5:21Speaker 3: Rome?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Let's see here? What did you send me here?
- 5:26Speaker 1: I remember when I would sleep over my cousin's house,
- 5:30Speaker 1: he would make some sandwiches of spam.
- 5:33Speaker 2: I tried making them a couple of years ago.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I don't know what I was thinking. Spam is a
- 5:36Speaker 1: nasty Rome spam is horribly nasty. Although I never liked
- 5:45Speaker 1: spam as a kid, and I still don't like it today.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But I do have to say this, I wasn't just
- 5:53Speaker 1: wing it. And they made some spam sliders on these
- 5:55Speaker 1: King rolls, and I don't know why they were good.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I don't remember spam I'm tasting like that, but they
- 6:01Speaker 1: were good. But I never liked spam either. Good morning,
- 6:05Speaker 1: out what's going.
- 6:06Speaker 6: On, Romeo?
- 6:06Speaker 7: There's three things I distinctively remember them trying to feed
- 6:09Speaker 7: me that I never could.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Take a liking to. Okay.
- 6:13Speaker 5: The first was beef strovanol.
- 6:15Speaker 7: I don't even know if that's a real thing.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It's a real thing, beef strovanill.
- 6:19Speaker 8: I never could like it.
- 6:20Speaker 7: Don't like it, tell this day.
- 6:21Speaker 3: The other thing was pork and beans.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I hate porking bean.
- 6:28Speaker 6: I would sit there with a miserable face and try
- 6:31Speaker 6: to finish these porking beans and never could do it.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 6:36Speaker 7: The third one, my grandpa used say, there's two kind
- 6:38Speaker 7: of people.
- 6:38Speaker 3: People that like miracle whip and people that don't like
- 6:41Speaker 3: miracle whip.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I never get used to miracle whip.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Never. I can't eat to tell this day.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I never had. I don't Yeah, I don't think
- 6:49Speaker 2: I've ever had miracle with honestly.
- 6:51Speaker 3: There's two people.
- 6:51Speaker 7: Some people like it, but I'm not ready to day.
- 6:54Speaker 2: All right, I didn't even know if I like miracle
- 6:58Speaker 2: or not. I've never had it. I've never been a
- 7:00Speaker 2: mannaise personnel. All right. So what did you eat as
- 7:03Speaker 2: a kid?
- 7:03Speaker 3: Man?
- 7:04Speaker 2: That's just nasty, all right, it's just not good, you know,
- 7:07Speaker 2: eat as a kid? Already?
- 7:08Speaker 1: Four two five four seven to seven room. As a kid,
- 7:12Speaker 1: we would always eat peanut butter with Caro Carlo syrup.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It was good as a kid, but as an adult
- 7:19Speaker 1: that would be a no. I remember we used to
- 7:23Speaker 1: eat now that i'm thinking about it, when we're kids,
- 7:27Speaker 1: we used to eat uh saltine crackers with butter wicher.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Just yeah, I don't know why anybody would eat that.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Already four two five four seven to seven As a kid.
- 7:41Speaker 2: What did you guys eat? What was? What was just?
- 7:44Speaker 2: Or maybe when you were poor?
- 7:47Speaker 1: And now you would never eat it because it's just
- 7:49Speaker 1: not as good.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Good morning, Romeo.
- 7:52Speaker 1: When no bread in the house, peanut butter and jelly
- 7:55Speaker 1: on a flower tortilla, Oh that sounds awful.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Does not sound good, all right.
- 8:01Speaker 1: So as a kid man, we ate some things that
- 8:04Speaker 1: we would never eat today, right alrighty four two, five, four,
- 8:07Speaker 1: seven to seven?
- 8:07Speaker 2: Going now, what's going on?
- 8:09Speaker 3: Romeo?
- 8:09Speaker 7: Rob here?
- 8:10Speaker 9: Hey?
- 8:10Speaker 8: Rob?
- 8:11Speaker 2: What up?
- 8:12Speaker 3: What's up?
- 8:13Speaker 8: Man?
- 8:13Speaker 10: Hey?
- 8:13Speaker 7: As a youngster, I used to sit around and watch
- 8:16Speaker 7: my dad and uncles get drunk, right, and then after
- 8:20Speaker 7: they started drinking a little bit, they go get some
- 8:21Speaker 7: flour tortilla. There's some hot dugs and warm it up
- 8:24Speaker 7: on the stove without a pan over the fire, right,
- 8:27Speaker 7: And when it got hot, they put the cheese and
- 8:29Speaker 7: barbecue and they call it a winyl. Until this day
- 8:32Speaker 7: I catch myself making.
- 8:33Speaker 2: These you know, wait, wait what just regular sliced cheese?
- 8:37Speaker 7: Yes, sir, you put a craft singles on there, rolled
- 8:40Speaker 7: a enium on it, then you put the barbecue sauce
- 8:42Speaker 7: on top of it, and then you just rolled up
- 8:44Speaker 7: and eat it. There's a Winyl's calling them? My dad
- 8:47Speaker 7: n he's called them back in the day.
- 8:48Speaker 2: That sounds nasty.
- 8:50Speaker 7: Its actually it sounds nasty, but it's pretty good. I
- 8:52Speaker 7: still eat them to the day, Bro, I can put.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Down at least for them, right, I mean I get
- 8:59Speaker 1: a lie I used to well, I'll tell you guys
- 9:02Speaker 1: a story.
- 9:05Speaker 2: So when I was in college, I live with my grandfather.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Now, my grandfather was an attorney and he was a
- 9:12Speaker 1: very He was pretty successful.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But my grandfather was also.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Socialite in his town that he lived in, so he
- 9:21Speaker 1: was out every day eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When
- 9:24Speaker 1: I moved in with him, he told me, look, he goes,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I will feed you breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But that
- 9:30Speaker 1: means you got to go hang out with me and
- 9:32Speaker 1: my friends because we go out to eat every day.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And oh, they were so boring.
- 9:36Speaker 1: He goes, But I will always leave a package of
- 9:38Speaker 1: hot dogs in refrigerator for you. So if I wanted
- 9:44Speaker 1: to eat, and because I had no money I was
- 9:46Speaker 1: in college, I was poor. If I wanted to eat,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I always had Oscar Meyer hot dogs in the fridge.
- 9:52Speaker 1: So that always had something that was his plan for me.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So we would so hot dogs, you guys. I would
- 9:58Speaker 1: never roll it up into a tortilla. But I did
- 10:00Speaker 1: put Craft singles in there, Kraft singles on a hot dog.
- 10:03Speaker 1: But did do that already four two, five, four seven seven.
- 10:07Speaker 2: So, like I said, what did you guys eat?
- 10:08Speaker 3: Man?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Maybe you were young and dumb, I mean, I can't
- 10:11Speaker 1: believe Rob still eats hot dogs and a tortilla with
- 10:14Speaker 1: cheese and barbecue sauce. That sounds nasty. But what did
- 10:18Speaker 1: you eat already? Four two five, four ars seven to seven,
- 10:21Speaker 1: whether you were poor, you know, whether you were just
- 10:23Speaker 1: young and kids have no sense of no culinary sense,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I mean, what was it?
- 10:31Speaker 6: So my parents always had eggs and hot dogs in
- 10:37Speaker 6: the fridge, so I will just chop them up, you
- 10:39Speaker 6: nix them up, and then I had that meal right there,
- 10:43Speaker 6: scrambled eggs.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And hot dogs. Oh that sounds terrible.
- 10:48Speaker 6: Oh it's still good to me to this day. But
- 10:51Speaker 6: there's days when there's days when I run out of
- 10:54Speaker 6: hot dogs. They have to let experiment a little bit, right, Okay,
- 10:57Speaker 6: so excuse me. I had the hot dogs one out
- 11:00Speaker 6: of eighth. I had to hunk up and then I'll
- 11:02Speaker 6: pull something like tomato sauce on top of it. That
- 11:06Speaker 6: good anyone to meat. And then and then on top
- 11:12Speaker 6: of that, if everything's gone, all I have is is
- 11:15Speaker 6: that I'll get I'll yeah, then I'll ve butter on
- 11:24Speaker 6: top of it, roll it up, eat and things like that.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, alright, man, thanks for calling fo tortilla
- 11:33Speaker 1: with butters is pretty common.
- 11:35Speaker 2: That's not weird. I remember I used to eat.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I couldn't afford meat, so when I was in school,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I couldn't afford meat, so I would just buy the
- 11:43Speaker 1: candory fried beans and make bean tacos. I don't think
- 11:47Speaker 1: that's weird or strange. So that's probably still good. Maybe
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'll try that tonight and see if that's still good
- 11:51Speaker 1: already four two five, four seven seven would you sent
- 11:55Speaker 1: me here?
- 11:56Speaker 2: Man Rome. I used to get a.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Flower tortilla, get the peanut butter smear all across the
- 12:01Speaker 1: tortilla warming up in the stove. As a kid, I
- 12:04Speaker 1: used to thought that was amazing. Now I don't even
- 12:07Speaker 1: bother trying yo row, Mom will hook it up with
- 12:12Speaker 1: spam tacos. Oh, I just can't with spam spam tacos.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I just don't know about that.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I just I was never a fan of spam, and
- 12:23Speaker 1: I don't I was never a fan of it. Never
- 12:26Speaker 1: a fan of it, Hey roam. When my son was younger,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I would make him a sandwich. He would always take
- 12:31Speaker 1: out the meat. He would just wanted mayonnaise and bread sandwiches.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Everything he eats now, he asks for light mao mayonnaise
- 12:39Speaker 1: and bread as the poor man's sandwich right there. So
- 12:44Speaker 1: this happened to me this morning, and I just I
- 12:47Speaker 1: don't know what to think about it. I don't There's
- 12:51Speaker 1: two things that happened to me.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I get up a three, all right.
- 12:55Speaker 1: So I'll stop and get gas on the way into
- 12:58Speaker 1: the studio if I need to, or a cup of
- 13:00Speaker 1: coffee or whatever.
- 13:01Speaker 2: But I always go to a gas station. This happened
- 13:04Speaker 2: to me twice.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Okay, the first time it happened to me, uh was
- 13:10Speaker 1: about three little after three am. A homeless guy walks
- 13:14Speaker 1: up to me and asks me if I have changed
- 13:16Speaker 1: for a hundred. I don't even have a hundred. How
- 13:20Speaker 1: am I gonna have change for a hundred?
- 13:23Speaker 2: Right now?
- 13:25Speaker 1: I get that that's not that big of a no.
- 13:27Speaker 1: But this morning, three am, I'm at the gas station.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Homeless lady walks up to me and asks me if
- 13:35Speaker 1: I have any change? Three am. This is where it
- 13:40Speaker 1: gets interesting. Not only did she have tattoos on her
- 13:47Speaker 1: arms and they looked pretty impressive. And anybody that knows
- 13:52Speaker 1: tattoos are not cheap, tattoos are very expensive, especially good ones.
- 13:57Speaker 1: So she had tatted up arms going, Okay, I can't
- 14:01Speaker 1: afford to get tattoos like that. She had an iPhone,
- 14:04Speaker 1: a newer iPhone than I had, and she had AirPods in.
- 14:10Speaker 2: I can't afford. I don't have AirPods.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I can't afford AirPods, and she's asking me for money.
- 14:17Speaker 1: She literally had things that I can't afford, and she's
- 14:22Speaker 1: asking me for money.
- 14:25Speaker 2: How do you trust.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Who's homeless and who needs what and who's taking advantage?
- 14:30Speaker 1: I don't know, but she's up at three am, so
- 14:34Speaker 1: I maybe she wasn't homeless. Maybe I have no idea,
- 14:39Speaker 1: but I don't even know. That's where I've kind of
- 14:41Speaker 1: gotten to the point where now I can't give anybody
- 14:43Speaker 1: money because I just don't know already four.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Two four or seven to seven.
- 14:49Speaker 1: So it was crazy how this homeless girl walks up
- 14:53Speaker 1: this morning, three am, I'm at the gas station, walks
- 14:55Speaker 1: up to me and asks for money. Yet she has AirPods,
- 14:59Speaker 1: she has tattoos, and she has an iPhone. That's nor
- 15:01Speaker 1: of mind, all things that I can't afford, right, And
- 15:05Speaker 1: I know you guys are saying, well, the tattoo tattoos
- 15:07Speaker 1: are expensive if you get tat tattoos are expensive, you guys,
- 15:11Speaker 1: Just so you know. And I was thinking, Oh my god,
- 15:14Speaker 1: what the hell's going on here?
- 15:16Speaker 4: Already?
- 15:16Speaker 1: Four two five four or seven to seven. Hey, Rome,
- 15:21Speaker 1: let me tell you a story. Back when the twenty
- 15:23Speaker 1: four Hour Fitness was located on Rosedale Highway, the homeless
- 15:28Speaker 1: people would stand on that corner when you'd get off
- 15:31Speaker 1: the freeway.
- 15:33Speaker 2: So I gave a guy some money he was standing there.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Later that evening, I was at the twenty four hour
- 15:39Speaker 1: Fitness room and this guy was on the treadmill next
- 15:42Speaker 1: to me. It had to be the same guy. I
- 15:45Speaker 1: couldn't believe it. Well, I'm gonna tell you a story
- 15:54Speaker 1: about homelessness. When I was younger, we had my grandfather
- 16:03Speaker 1: was a lawyer and he had friends, lawyer friends that
- 16:07Speaker 1: lived in Santa Cruz. One of his lawyer friends, Santa
- 16:12Speaker 1: Cruz has a back in the day and I haven't
- 16:14Speaker 1: been to.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Santa Cruz in a long time.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So it had a beautiful, thriving boardwalk, video games, carnival games.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Roller coaster, all of it.
- 16:26Speaker 1: And his lawyer friend would go dress up like a
- 16:31Speaker 1: homeless guy on the weekends Friday, Saturday sunder for the
- 16:35Speaker 1: tourists and sit on the boardwater and he said his home,
- 16:38Speaker 1: his lawyer friend would make easily one either one thousand
- 16:44Speaker 1: to three thousand dollars a weekend during tourist season, just
- 16:49Speaker 1: sitting there collecting home money as a homeless guy.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You know, I'm sure there's a lot of legitimacy, a
- 17:00Speaker 1: lot of legitimate homeless people. But my god, how do
- 17:04Speaker 1: you tell the scammers? Hey, Rome, that one hundred dollar
- 17:08Speaker 1: bill was counterfeit? The homeless guy was scamming you, Oh,
- 17:11Speaker 1: the guy who tried to get me changed from it.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You know a lot of these homeless people get financial
- 17:15Speaker 1: money assistance, but they prefer to be homeless because of
- 17:19Speaker 1: mental issues. I know a few, and they're just chemically imbalanced.
- 17:23Speaker 1: It's kind of sad. Well, okay, I yeah, I mean sure,
- 17:28Speaker 1: that's why I've heard that as also.
- 17:30Speaker 2: By the way, but.
- 17:36Speaker 1: If you got more, if you're if you if you
- 17:38Speaker 1: look more expensive than I do, how am I supposed
- 17:41Speaker 1: to give you money?
- 17:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:44Speaker 1: All right, let's say four two, five, four, seven, seven,
- 17:50Speaker 1: good morning to Rome. I won a backpack yesterday in
- 17:52Speaker 1: the five o'clock hour. Randy took my first and last name,
- 17:55Speaker 1: but to get my phone number. We got distracted telling
- 17:59Speaker 1: me what I needed to do. Just show up or
- 18:01Speaker 1: will they need.
- 18:02Speaker 2: To call me? Yeah? Let me see you won last?
- 18:06Speaker 2: You said you won last yesterday? Uh? Where is it
- 18:13Speaker 2: was yesterday? This day was Monday? Today's on Tuesday. Yeah,
- 18:17Speaker 2: it's only Tuesday today. What is that? I don't need
- 18:21Speaker 2: to read all that info.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Let's see here, Randy, Randy, Randy, five o'clock.
- 18:27Speaker 6: You said you won?
- 18:30Speaker 2: Yeah you did win?
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah you won?
- 18:33Speaker 2: Or are you good?
- 18:34Speaker 3: You good?
- 18:35Speaker 1: It says, Uh, we got distracted telling me what I
- 18:39Speaker 1: needed to do. I just show up or will they
- 18:43Speaker 1: need to call me? I mean I think they'll call
- 18:44Speaker 1: you as well. But yeah, you won, your in You're good?
- 18:50Speaker 1: You just have to Uh you can show up bout
- 18:53Speaker 1: eight clock over reading cinemas check you in or you
- 18:57Speaker 1: I think they'll call you as well if I if
- 19:01Speaker 1: I'm correct?
- 19:02Speaker 2: Oh man, I just looked at everything I got to
- 19:04Speaker 2: give away today.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Damn, I don't even have time to talk about nothing already.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Four two, five, four, seven to seven, Hey room, let.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Me tell you about a homeless situation that happened to
- 19:16Speaker 1: me one time I was at the ATM.
- 19:20Speaker 2: It was about five in.
- 19:21Speaker 1: The morning, and there was a guy sitting a couple
- 19:27Speaker 1: store fronts down from me with a dog and he
- 19:31Speaker 1: was just sitting there. The dog kind of growled and
- 19:34Speaker 1: run and barked at me, and the dude sternly warned
- 19:39Speaker 1: him not to do that. I thought that was so
- 19:43Speaker 1: well done, Rome, I took an extra twenty out and
- 19:45Speaker 1: just gave it to him for that reason alone. Yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I mean, he didn't try to. He was very, you know,
- 19:52Speaker 1: very respectful to the dog. Sounds like it would need
- 19:54Speaker 1: to be done.
- 19:56Speaker 2: That's good. Well, everybody, I think everybody picks and chooses.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I have a friend, she says.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I say, why do you decide to give somebody a
- 20:03Speaker 1: homeless person money or not? She just says, I get
- 20:06Speaker 1: a feeling when I see them, and you know, so, yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 1: all right, hey, Rome, Hey, you ever heard of the
- 20:14Speaker 1: scam where you pull up to the gas station and
- 20:17Speaker 1: there's a man or a woman that goes up to
- 20:19Speaker 1: you and tells you that they lost a phone or
- 20:22Speaker 1: wallet and they need gas and they're willing to sell
- 20:26Speaker 1: you jewelry worth a certain amount when reality it's worth
- 20:29Speaker 1: a few bucks.
- 20:31Speaker 2: No, but I've had a guy do that before. It wasn't.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I can't remember where it was.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I was not at a gas station, but a guy
- 20:39Speaker 1: did roll up on me and try to sell me
- 20:41Speaker 1: some gold chains one time.
- 20:44Speaker 2: And good morning Rome man.
- 20:46Speaker 1: There was a shooter last night at the boardwalk in
- 20:49Speaker 1: Santa Cruz. I was at the bar across the street
- 20:52Speaker 1: and I heard the bartender say that that doesn't look good,
- 20:55Speaker 1: turned around and saw people running away from the boardwalk.
- 20:58Speaker 2: It was crazy a series. Wow, that's insane. Rome just
- 21:06Speaker 2: put one of the Raider songs on. Oh it's not
- 21:09Speaker 2: time for football yet. It's not a raidersong time yet.
- 21:13Speaker 1: From the just Wing at studios, you know, Rome Friday
- 21:16Speaker 1: had a dude claim that he was homeless, came up
- 21:20Speaker 1: to me and asked me for money. I sat in
- 21:24Speaker 1: my vehicle and watched him for a minute, and the
- 21:26Speaker 1: dude drove an expedition. I mean, homeless can mean you
- 21:31Speaker 1: live in your car, right, so we can't really argue
- 21:34Speaker 1: with that point. But yeah, it's tough. I mean, it's
- 21:38Speaker 1: just tough to see. It's tough. It's tough to know
- 21:41Speaker 1: nowadays who's scamming you and who's not. I mean the
- 21:44Speaker 1: ones that I can't figure out or the or when
- 21:46Speaker 1: you're at the gas station on let's say, like you're
- 21:49Speaker 1: not even at a gas station near the freeway. You're
- 21:52Speaker 1: at a gas station at like Ashen somewhere or in
- 21:56Speaker 1: the middle of town. And somebody says, oh, man, we're
- 21:59Speaker 1: coming back from Fresno. We're just trying to get home
- 22:01Speaker 1: to La. Or we're coming from LA we're just trying
- 22:03Speaker 1: to get back to Fresno. And you're like, we need
- 22:06Speaker 1: gas money brewing of gas. I'm thinking, well, if you
- 22:10Speaker 1: going from Fresnoe to LA, shouldn't you be out of
- 22:13Speaker 1: gas at a gas station near the freeway on the
- 22:17Speaker 1: ninety nine somewhere, not next to my house over here
- 22:20Speaker 1: in the middle of town. I mean, that just don't
- 22:24Speaker 1: make no sense. Rome. I thought that event was from
- 22:27Speaker 1: ten to noon, but eight we'll do yeah, no, no, no,
- 22:31Speaker 1: the backpack for everybody that's want a backpack, we're doing
- 22:34Speaker 1: it from nine to noon. Okay, you guys get to
- 22:38Speaker 1: watch a movie as well, so there's a lot. Make
- 22:40Speaker 1: sure you pay attention to that. I would show up
- 22:41Speaker 1: early though, just to you know, just to check in. Hey, Rom,
- 22:47Speaker 1: I lost the call. My husband want.

- 23:20Speaker 3: be out this showing it. You just want to no petition,
- 23:23Speaker 3: Send me some money. Get a hold of my wife, Romeo,
- 23:25Speaker 3: and you know we don't keep puting up the nine

- 24:10Speaker 2: I can't believe they got my boy Angel.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Oh, oh, man, Angel was Uh oh, he's such a

- 24:20Speaker 7: If the crime does not fit, you must have.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Angel free, That's what I'm hollering. But they get him

- 26:13Speaker 2: thing you do is might drink too.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Many of them juice pockets juice boxes, and I pass
- 26:18Speaker 1: out in public.

- 26:50Speaker 1: if I could dunk a basketball, get out of here, stupid,
- 26:55Speaker 1: stupid Lou. See how glu clueless Lou. He called up
- 26:59Speaker 1: to ask you ever got locked up hypothetically? What?

- 27:49Speaker 1: Gilly will tell you, Chili, Gilly would tell you Sea

- 28:14Speaker 2: beat boxes.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Come on, man, he might be child support. I think
- 28:21Speaker 1: if Lou ever went in uh went to jail, would
- 28:25Speaker 1: probably be drunken in public because of those those juice
- 28:29Speaker 1: boxes he drinks.

- 33:53Speaker 1: the kids. The first ninety four kids are gonna get
- 33:55Speaker 1: free haircuts at Get Faded Barbara and Beauty College, fourth year. Oh.
- 34:08Speaker 1: You know what, I will say this though, that I
- 34:12Speaker 1: gotta say this with as much as these uh, these
- 34:16Speaker 1: people are paying for haircuts nowadays, man, they need to
- 34:19Speaker 1: go get a degree there.
- 34:21Speaker 9: Right, I agree, I agree. I don't know what. I
- 34:26Speaker 9: remember when I started cutting hair it was six dollars.
- 34:29Speaker 9: This is a very very long time ago six bucks,
- 34:32Speaker 9: six dollars, and now they're twenty five plus. So yeah, same.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Job, same job.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Well what there's a cost to it though, you got
- 34:41Speaker 1: products and stuff like what is a barber?
- 34:43Speaker 2: We're gonna talk about this. See, we're gonna get to
- 34:44Speaker 2: the bottom of it today, all.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Right, So just sy you guys know, tomorrow morning we're
- 34:47Speaker 1: gonna be hanging out and get fitted. Barber and Beauty College,
- 34:50Speaker 1: twenty five hundred Newstein Road.
- 34:52Speaker 2: I think it's sweet. Two O three two O three
- 34:54Speaker 2: two three, doesn't matter.
- 34:55Speaker 1: You'll see the big sign with all the haircutters in it,
- 34:58Speaker 1: and we will tomorrow is we're gonna get your kids
- 35:01Speaker 1: ready for school. We got Get Faded Barber and Beauty
- 35:05Speaker 1: College here, Alma and Mike.
- 35:11Speaker 2: You guys, couldn't hear that name is Mike? Yeah.
- 35:18Speaker 1: So the first ninety four kids twenty five hundred news sign.
- 35:21Speaker 1: The first ninety four kids are going to go ahead
- 35:23Speaker 1: and get a free haircut, yes they are. After that,
- 35:27Speaker 1: it's going to be like what six bucks, ten bucks
- 35:29Speaker 1: after that, after ninety four, ten dollars, ten dollars after that.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Okay, So.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I want to talk about what you guys do there,
- 35:38Speaker 1: because now that I'm looking at how much people pay
- 35:40Speaker 1: for haircuts, they pay for their nails. Do you guys
- 35:45Speaker 1: do estheticians stuff, do esthetician stuff? Tell everybody what you
- 35:50Speaker 1: offer at Get Faded Barber and Beauty Colors.
- 35:53Speaker 9: Well, for the public, we do offer just about anything.
- 35:56Speaker 9: So for the aestheticians, we do a lot of modalities.
- 35:59Speaker 9: That's like micro dummer brasions. You have high frequency. You
- 36:03Speaker 9: have the Galvanic machine. Nobody knows about the galvan machine.
- 36:06Speaker 9: That's second was galvanic, Oh.
- 36:09Speaker 2: My god, galvanic qushing what is that as people.
- 36:11Speaker 9: That are older, we have our little wrinkles and it's
- 36:14Speaker 9: just it's an amazing machine that it's going to just
- 36:17Speaker 9: revitalize our skin. And really, yeah, okay okay, machines one
- 36:22Speaker 9: of my favorites.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And so what do you teach people?
- 36:26Speaker 9: So we teach them all. We teach the students to be.
- 36:30Speaker 9: What we do at the school is we make it
- 36:32Speaker 9: more of a professional environment so they are actually doing
- 36:35Speaker 9: everything that they should be doing at their job is
- 36:38Speaker 9: not just a school. So I treat my school as
- 36:41Speaker 9: the real job.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Okay, okay, Oh yeah, that's awesome. That's the way it
- 36:45Speaker 1: should be. And does it?
- 36:48Speaker 3: Uh?
- 36:49Speaker 2: When do when do classes start? If I was?
- 36:51Speaker 1: The reason I say that is because we have obviously
- 36:53Speaker 1: a lot of kids graduated this year, and not all
- 36:57Speaker 1: of them know what they're going to get into at
- 36:59Speaker 1: this point still, so they might be looking for a profession.
- 37:02Speaker 2: And like I said, man, the money that looks like
- 37:04Speaker 2: some of these people.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Are making by doing those things, I don't know why
- 37:07Speaker 1: somebody wouldn't do that if they didn't really have a plan.
- 37:11Speaker 9: Right now, you know what I say it all the time.
- 37:15Speaker 9: College isn't for everybody.
- 37:16Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 37:17Speaker 9: It really isn't. And being in a trade, I've been
- 37:20Speaker 9: doing this for a long time, a long time, and
- 37:23Speaker 9: I've always been able to provide for my family him too,
- 37:27Speaker 9: but I was able to provide.
- 37:29Speaker 2: You know, you're so serious all the time. Damn, Mike smile.
- 37:37Speaker 1: He really is standing over like what you're about to say? Yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 1: so you're absolutely right. Tuesday, Every Tuesday.
- 37:45Speaker 2: That's he just wanted to answer the question every Tuesday.
- 37:54Speaker 2: So what is how does somebody get started? They're just
- 37:56Speaker 2: coming on Tuesday.
- 37:56Speaker 9: Give you a call, hose that work, so they would
- 37:58Speaker 9: come in prior to the Tuesday that they and start
- 38:01Speaker 9: and they'll bring in. They need a high school diploma
- 38:04Speaker 9: or anything that's equivalent High schoo diploma, ged, social Security
- 38:10Speaker 9: or item number and drivers are a California ID.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, California though why because California you get a
- 38:20Speaker 1: certified in California. You have to get certified in each state,
- 38:22Speaker 1: right correct? Okay, So that's all they need to do.
- 38:25Speaker 2: That's all they need to do.
- 38:26Speaker 9: Oh well, they need their down payment of course.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Okay, Well I what yeah, everything calls money everything welcome to.
- 38:34Speaker 9: Well, no, that that gives them their equipment it doesn't
- 38:35Speaker 9: move into our pocket. It gives them all their equipment.
- 38:37Speaker 9: That way, if they decide they don't want to do it,
- 38:39Speaker 9: we don't lose and they don't lose.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Oh, I see what you're saying when you talk about equipment,
- 38:43Speaker 1: Like obviously I don't know what my barber uses, but
- 38:47Speaker 1: you'd say a barber needs certain equipment, esthetician, nails, they
- 38:51Speaker 1: all need different types of equipment correct or all of
- 38:56Speaker 1: How do I say this without I hope none of
- 38:58Speaker 1: your students are listening without Are all the tuitions the
- 39:02Speaker 1: same and the programs is the same length of time?
- 39:05Speaker 9: No, So you have the barbering and the cosmos are
- 39:08Speaker 9: now a thousand hours thanks to the state. And then
- 39:11Speaker 9: you have your estheticians are six hundred and your nail
- 39:14Speaker 9: techs are four hundred. You have the hairstyling that's brand new,
- 39:17Speaker 9: that's six hundred hours.
- 39:19Speaker 2: What is hairstyling?
- 39:20Speaker 9: They get to do updues. They get to do braiding.
- 39:22Speaker 9: So the people that are braiding, oh okay, you know
- 39:24Speaker 9: the state wants to come in and get their money.
- 39:26Speaker 9: So now they have to be certified to be Yeah,
- 39:30Speaker 9: in order to braid, you have to be certified or
- 39:32Speaker 9: licensed down.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Damn states like the Gestapo. They're gonna get their cut
- 39:36Speaker 1: no matter what.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Oh yoully, damn what do they call they call us?
- 39:40Speaker 9: So they called Get Faded Barber and Beauty College sixt six
- 39:42Speaker 9: twenty three five A two four five, and you would
- 39:45Speaker 9: be talking to miss Iris. She's going to handles all
- 39:47Speaker 9: in the office.
- 39:48Speaker 1: All right, all right, So tomorrow morning we are going
- 39:51Speaker 1: to be a Get Faded Barber and Beauty College. It's
- 39:54Speaker 1: twenty five hundred Newstein Road, Sweet two oh three. Almah
- 39:57Speaker 1: and Micro here they are the owners and just an
- 40:00Speaker 1: amazing couple who like to do.
- 40:02Speaker 2: What's best for the community.
- 40:04Speaker 1: So we're gonna give away haircuts the first ninety four
- 40:07Speaker 1: kids that show up free haircuts, and then yeah, between
- 40:11Speaker 1: seven and ten, So make sure you show up. Now, guys,
- 40:14Speaker 1: let's talk about what Almah forgot to talk about. Her
- 40:18Speaker 1: husband had to let her know. See that's why we
- 40:20Speaker 1: say you got to have a man right behind you.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Look at no, I just get it.
- 40:25Speaker 9: I'm not gonna lie. I will not I never knock
- 40:28Speaker 9: my husband down.
- 40:29Speaker 2: He's an amazing man.
- 40:30Speaker 9: Yes, he will put me in my place.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Well, he just reminded you you forgot about nail techs.
- 40:36Speaker 2: You can't forget about Now what does the nail tech even?
- 40:39Speaker 9: Do they do manicure, pedicures and set of nails?
- 40:42Speaker 1: You know how expensive it is to get a manicure
- 40:45Speaker 1: pedicure in a set.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Of nails right now?
- 40:47Speaker 9: Not at our place?
- 40:47Speaker 2: Come on, well, yeah, let's talk about that real quick.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Not only do you train people to do these different things,
- 40:53Speaker 1: you also welcome customers, of course. And I when I
- 40:59Speaker 1: was in college, I was really really broke, and I
- 41:01Speaker 1: would go to the barber college to get a haircut
- 41:04Speaker 1: because they were less way less expensive. And obviously people
- 41:10Speaker 1: get weary about that, maybe because they're training. But you
- 41:13Speaker 1: you don't just throw the newest person in there to
- 41:16Speaker 1: do somebody's nails, right.
- 41:17Speaker 9: Oh, yes we do.
- 41:20Speaker 2: That's how they learn. Oh that's awesome, that is amazing.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So you guys are open for business also for customers,
- 41:33Speaker 1: I mean, and it looks like, I mean it could
- 41:35Speaker 1: get pricey, especially you got I mean, if you have
- 41:38Speaker 1: three little girls right now, they won all go get
- 41:40Speaker 1: their nails done with mom.
- 41:43Speaker 9: Well, when I go, or when I used to go
- 41:46Speaker 9: to get mine and my girl's nails done, it's easily.
- 41:50Speaker 9: And I go to the cheap sid because I'm a
- 41:52Speaker 9: little on the proud side. So I do like sixty
- 41:55Speaker 9: dollars a person. Uh huh, that's the minimum. Sixty want
- 41:59Speaker 9: to do all that sh stuff to their nails, you're looking.
- 42:01Speaker 9: My daughter goes to one of our old students that
- 42:05Speaker 9: I think she lives in Moscow, and she pays easily
- 42:08Speaker 9: one hundred and twenty dollars every time she visits them.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Now, when you just talk about nails, you guys do
- 42:14Speaker 1: There's like nine hundred things they do with nails nowadays,
- 42:17Speaker 1: isn't there.
- 42:17Speaker 9: Yeah, they have a lot of like jel egx just yeah,
- 42:23Speaker 9: building jail, all types of craziness. Yeah, not to mention,
- 42:28Speaker 9: I won't mention any names. But I have somebody that
- 42:30Speaker 9: comes in and.
- 42:31Speaker 10: She has.
- 42:33Speaker 9: Like added it's crazy. She has like fingers that are
- 42:39Speaker 9: looking to each other.
- 42:40Speaker 2: We have like I don't know, what do you do that?
- 42:42Speaker 10: There?
- 42:43Speaker 9: They do do that there. I've just never seen it.
- 42:47Speaker 9: I don't understand how they can work with like stuff
- 42:50Speaker 9: on their nails, not just like but like she has
- 42:53Speaker 9: like hellow kiddies and dinosaurs and just but they love it.
- 42:57Speaker 2: And I'm gonna have to google that.
- 42:59Speaker 9: Yeah, it looks like clago.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Really, I'm just gonna tell you, guys, since you're not
- 43:03Speaker 1: sitting in there with me, the funniest thing ever is
- 43:07Speaker 1: we're talking about nails and esthetician stuff and skin, and
- 43:11Speaker 1: Mike's over.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Here and he knows it all, like he knows it all.
- 43:15Speaker 2: And you know, how.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Does this big old dude know everything about nails right now?
- 43:22Speaker 2: Security?
- 43:26Speaker 1: Oh that's so great anyway, So hold on a second.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Tomorrow we're gonna do free haircuts. Ninety four kids first,
- 43:35Speaker 1: ninety four kids that show up seven and ten between
- 43:38Speaker 1: seven am and ten am. I'll be out there hanging out.
- 43:40Speaker 1: We're gonna be no, it's a twenty two right now,
- 43:42Speaker 1: live from the Justiniia Studios. I'm on micro here. They

- 43:55Speaker 1: get into the business, they can absolutely get you sort
- 43:58Speaker 1: of what you gotta be state CERTI of Yeah.
- 44:00Speaker 9: We certify you and we send you to the board.
- 44:03Speaker 2: What what does the board do?
- 44:05Speaker 9: You got to take a simple test. It's a rat test.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Yeah, is it hard?
- 44:10Speaker 9: None of you listen to what I'm telling you, so.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Real quick, let's just go through all the things that
- 44:17Speaker 1: you teach people how to do and get certified for.
- 44:20Speaker 9: So we do offer the barbering course. It's a thousand topology,
- 44:24Speaker 9: which is also a thousand hours.
- 44:26Speaker 2: What's cosmetology for females?
- 44:29Speaker 9: So usually like the bleaching, the coloring, actually a lot
- 44:33Speaker 9: to do it all, okay, okay, and then we do
- 44:36Speaker 9: the nail text. Far I forget the nail text. That's
- 44:39Speaker 9: six hundred hours. We do hairstyling six hundred hours, and
- 44:43Speaker 9: the estheticians are four hundred hours.
- 44:45Speaker 1: When you say hours, what does that mean you have
- 44:47Speaker 1: to spend that many hours doing it, practicing it or.
- 44:50Speaker 9: Well that's the whole clocking in and out. So we
- 44:53Speaker 9: can hit those four hundred hours either studying or doing
- 44:56Speaker 9: it on a person. Then you get certified by us.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Now get fitted, barb and be The college is a

- 50:20Speaker 1: doing what I do.
- 50:21Speaker 2: And now, will I make a song? I have no idea.
- 50:25Speaker 1: We'll see what happens when it gets time, when it

- 51:46Speaker 2: make those raider songs.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Go get make some Margarita's and start singing already four two, four,
- 51:52Speaker 1: seven to seven eight. You haven't chea spin when you
- 51:55Speaker 1: do the Raiders song get drunk with beat boxes? So
- 51:58Speaker 1: how the song goes? Yeah, I'm not drinking a beat box.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I might as well drink a drink of caprice.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Son.
- 52:04Speaker 1: If I'm going to drink beat I drink real alcohol. Okay,
- 52:07Speaker 1: other than the beer I drink. I drink real alcohol already?

- 53:14Speaker 2: Ay schooling to go to school for. Do you know.
- 53:18Speaker 8: I'm saying, I'm sorry, what was that?
- 53:20Speaker 2: What's he going to go to school for? Do you
- 53:21Speaker 2: already know?
- 53:23Speaker 8: He wants to be a mechanic?
- 53:27Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Oh that's awesome.
- 53:30Speaker 8: They also them for the nucleus weapons program too, but
- 53:33Speaker 8: I'm not sure he might be doing different stuff.
- 53:36Speaker 2: But gotcha.
- 53:38Speaker 8: He decided against it because you don't want to. He
- 53:41Speaker 8: don't want to be overhas on a ship for like
- 53:43Speaker 8: five years?
- 53:44Speaker 2: Oh got you? Got you? Gotcha?
- 53:46Speaker 10: Oh?
- 53:46Speaker 2: Well good, I'm sure he'll do great.
- 53:49Speaker 8: Yeah. So he's saying goodbye to his friends and stuff.
- 53:55Speaker 8: We've been doing that, like off and on and getting stuff.
- 53:58Speaker 8: You know.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure, I'm sure he'll do a great job.
- 54:02Speaker 2: You know, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
- 54:04Speaker 2: He'll do a great job.
- 54:05Speaker 8: Yeah, all right, cool? For five years, he says he's
- 54:08Speaker 8: going to be in for twenty twenty years.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Okay, so let me tell you this just so I
- 54:14Speaker 1: want you to be clear. Now my friends who a
- 54:16Speaker 1: friend of mine's son just went in last year, and
- 54:21Speaker 1: you tell him to watch out for the girls that
- 54:25Speaker 1: try to chase Well, no, I guess there's women that
- 54:29Speaker 1: live around these places where they boot camp and stuff
- 54:32Speaker 1: like that, where they will try to catch a man
- 54:34Speaker 1: because they got so tell him to be careful.
- 54:37Speaker 8: Okay, Well, my son, he's he's not really into doing that.
- 54:42Speaker 8: He's going to be more focused on his work.
- 54:44Speaker 2: That's what they all say.
- 54:45Speaker 8: I tell him, because some of the guys will probably
- 54:48Speaker 8: warn him to the Marines and other second, he was,
- 54:52Speaker 8: you know, hiking up right there, off offered Harrold Highway
- 54:55Speaker 8: and stuff like that. So he's a.
- 54:59Speaker 2: All right, well just tell him stuff.
- 55:01Speaker 8: He's got a friend in the Air Force right now,
- 55:03Speaker 8: you all right?
- 55:05Speaker 2: All right, Well, thanks for Colin. I appreciate it. All right, Leslie,
- 55:10Speaker 2: have a good one, all right.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Buddy of mine told me that his son went
- 55:15Speaker 1: to boot camp for Air Force last year year before maybe,
- 55:18Speaker 1: and he was saying that I didn't uh, I think
- 55:21Speaker 1: this is funny. So a buddy of mine that I
- 55:27Speaker 1: grew up with, I went to high school with, went
- 55:29Speaker 1: to college with. He sent me a photo yesterday. It
- 55:34Speaker 1: was an old school photo of when we were younger,
- 55:36Speaker 1: you know, when we were in college, and he goes, man, dude,
- 55:39Speaker 1: remember when we looked like this? I was like, yeah,
- 55:44Speaker 1: we were in college, bro, we didn't. We couldn't afford
- 55:46Speaker 1: to eat. We couldn't, you know we And it cracked
- 55:49Speaker 1: me up because he was like, man, I wish we
- 55:51Speaker 1: could go back to looking like that. I said, you
- 55:53Speaker 1: can get you some glp ones or get you ozembic
- 55:55Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 55:56Speaker 2: You can do.
- 55:58Speaker 1: And what was fun about it, though, was he sent
- 56:01Speaker 1: it out during a group text of all my college
- 56:05Speaker 1: buddies that we went to. Yeah, all my college buddies,
- 56:09Speaker 1: and then all these fools started sending photos of what
- 56:12Speaker 1: they used to look like back in the day.
- 56:19Speaker 2: I just thought it was kind of funny, like, do
- 56:20Speaker 2: you remember when you were good looking? Do you remember
- 56:22Speaker 2: when you were hot?
- 56:23Speaker 1: I mean, you're probably still good looking, right some of you.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I don't know if you're still hot or not. I
- 56:28Speaker 1: don't know if you still got a great body.
- 56:29Speaker 2: I mean, but do you remember that?
- 56:34Speaker 1: And the reason I say that because it's funny because
- 56:37Speaker 1: you have all these people apparently everybody's on the shot
- 56:40Speaker 1: from what I understand, everybody in Bakersfield's on the shot,
- 56:44Speaker 1: and so they're living now vicariously through what they used
- 56:48Speaker 1: to look like because now they're all skinny again. I mean, unfortunately,
- 56:52Speaker 1: you still don't look like you used to when you
- 56:54Speaker 1: were in the best shape.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Of your life. But I just these fools, they're all
- 57:00Speaker 2: they were all on this group text I'm on just
- 57:02Speaker 2: talking about man, Remember when we used to look like this?
- 57:04Speaker 1: Remember how hot this was and this look and that look,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and it was just it just cracked me in.
- 57:09Speaker 2: Do you guys do that? Do you guys sit there.
- 57:12Speaker 1: And live vicariously through what you used to look like
- 57:16Speaker 1: and talk about it? Cause I will tell you this,
- 57:19Speaker 1: there is nothing much funnier than seeing somebody that uh,
- 57:25Speaker 1: you know, used to used to be hot and still
- 57:30Speaker 1: acts like.
- 57:30Speaker 2: They are when they're not. It's kind of funny, all right,
- 57:34Speaker 2: A fourteen, five, four or seven seven? You guys remember
- 57:36Speaker 2: when you were hot? Maybe you still are. I don't know.
- 57:40Speaker 2: Would you send me hey roam?
- 57:43Speaker 1: It was the song that you just played called rubber
- 57:45Speaker 1: Bands or something like that. You're the one that said
- 57:49Speaker 1: someone said it was generated by AI. I don't know
- 57:51Speaker 1: if it is or not. Oh, I see what you're saying.
- 57:53Speaker 1: It's weird sounding, but catch you troop tune. Yeah, you're right,
- 57:56Speaker 1: I see what you were talking about the Raider song.
- 57:58Speaker 2: Back. If I do a Raider song, I should use
- 58:00Speaker 2: that song. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Oh my bad, I didn't understand what you were saying.
- 58:04Speaker 1: But yeah, you're right, you're right. M Yeah, you're right.
- 58:08Speaker 1: That's a crazy song. Yeah, somebody told me it was
- 58:09Speaker 1: a I think Jay Reid told me it was AI
- 58:11Speaker 1: or he thought it was AI or something. The guy's
- 58:13Speaker 1: coming out with the whole album apparently. I kind of
- 58:16Speaker 1: like that song.
- 58:16Speaker 2: It is cutchy. Well, let me look into it, let
- 58:18Speaker 2: me see what they got going on.
- 58:20Speaker 1: All right, already four two five, four seven to seven Yo, Roam.
- 58:24Speaker 1: You were just talking about the weight loss shot. Yeah,
- 58:29Speaker 1: I know a few girls that are on it at work.
- 58:32Speaker 1: And let me tell you this, Rom, just because you're
- 58:34Speaker 1: skinny doesn't mean you're attractive. I think some of these
- 58:37Speaker 1: women need to understand that. I get that everybody that
- 58:43Speaker 1: nobody wants to be overweight, but just because you're skinny
- 58:47Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're hot.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Just let him know, Rome.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Well, okay, I'll let them know this guy says, just
- 58:54Speaker 1: because you're skinny doesn't mean you're hot.
- 58:56Speaker 2: Okay, all right, what have we got going on here? Hey?
- 59:02Speaker 1: Room, the shot is a cheat code rome. They want
- 59:06Speaker 1: to look good but want the easy way.
- 59:08Speaker 2: I mean, okay, who doesn't. I'm just who doesn't? Who cares?
- 59:13Speaker 1: I I don't care if it's a cheat code or not.
- 59:18Speaker 1: If you want to be on that shot, be on
- 59:20Speaker 1: that shot, do whatever you gotta do, right. But okay,
- 59:24Speaker 1: but the problem is you still don't look like you
- 59:26Speaker 1: used to. There's a lot of you out there that
- 59:28Speaker 1: used to be in shape because you had muscle tone,
- 59:31Speaker 1: and then you get the shot.
- 59:32Speaker 2: It don't give you muscle tone. It just makes you skinny.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Hey, rom, I'm the plug for a zempic. I get
- 59:40Speaker 1: a lot of it for free. Tell everyone to uh
- 59:44Speaker 1: something my line. I'll hook it up half cash only.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Oh I get in my line. I'll half cash.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Okay, you're the ozempic hookup.
- 59:54Speaker 2: All right? Hey, hey, all right, that's fine. Look man,
- 59:57Speaker 2: I don't have a problem with it. I don't care.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: If you want to take that shot and it makes
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you feel better about yourself and you lose weight and whatever.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: That's fine with me. I don't give a damn.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: But then again, I don't care if you get fake
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: boobs or fake butts or light bolsa, I don't care.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Do whatever you gotta do, man, do whatever makes you
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: feel fine. I'm not a hater like that. You know,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: a lot of you guys are haters, you know. But
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: everybody remembers when they look good, you know, when they
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: used to look.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Good, el natural. But hey, if you got to do
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: whatever you gotta do to get back to that place
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: and do it all right.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I just think it's funny because yesterday all my boys
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: were online Army, not on line, but they were on
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a group text talking about how good they looked twenty
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: years ago, you know, showing pictures of each other.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, people.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Love to reminiss I mean, how many of you are
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: still holding onto those jeans that you don't fit in
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: anymore thinking you're going to get back into them? You know?
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: Cardos up?
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: What's up?
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Man?
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: They really want to lose weight?
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Tell us to go outside and stand out there for
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: like eight hours a day.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: But did he don't burn a lot of that.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I've lost like fifteen pounds, man, just this summer, all right,
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: I'll let him know. All right, just get the shot.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: If you want to lose weight, but you're too lazy
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: to work out, or it's too difficult for you to
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: work out, just get the shot. Get it done.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: You know, everybody's on it anyways, pretty soon, if if
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: it hasn't already happened by now.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: It's so common to just get the shot. It doesn't
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: matter anymore if you get.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: It or not. Everybody everybody's doing it, you might as
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: well do it too, you know, Throw me all.
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: The morning, every morning, morning
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: One
