- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Tract Echoes.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Mike McCurray, your host.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for taking you to your time and joining me right here today.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I've got a statement for you.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I've got something that you need to wrap your head around.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it to be true.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: I believe Jesus would agree with me on this one.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: We need more churches.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, all the way back in the 1930s, 1940s,
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: he believed in church planning, and he remained in an incredible and active force for building God's people and churches for over 60 years.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: Today, BTI, the ministry that he founded back in 1938, still believes in building people and helping reach the world through new church plans.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: And we're so thankful that God allows us to help numerous church plants and church planners each year.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_00]: Recently, we actually partnered with a new church plant in New Orleans.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_00]: Tens of thousands have already been confronted with their need for a Savior and an invitation to that new church through this opportunity to co-labor with them.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: Our ability at Bible Tracks Incorporated to create beautiful custom branding, websites, tracks, churches, signs, and much more has been a blessing to many churches worldwide.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And we thank God for His provision in this area, and I want to personally invite you.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: If we can be a help to your ministry in this area of custom design, please don't hesitate to reach out.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: You can contact us, just email us at custom at bibletracksink.org, custom at bibletracksink.org.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: But realize when you support the ministry of bibletracks incorporated, often that helps us print tracks for a new church plan.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: We endeavored to do our tracks free as Lord provides, and we've put out over 600 million gospel tracks free as Lord provides over the last 85 years, but it realized that customized tracks with church information on them, they cost a lot more to produce, not because necessarily they take more in-grain from like that.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's just producing shorter runs of things, doing short runs of tracks, smaller quantities, the price per piece is far more expensive.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: And so most people don't need 100,000 tracks for their church all at one time, and so they order them a thousand, 2500 things like that, and those cost much more, and we're not able to, as of yet, we have not been able to do those for free.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so there's a small cost associated with those, I believe, very reasonable.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: But you support in the Ministry of BioTracks often times whenever possible for church planters, realizing there are so many other expenses that go with starting a church.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_00]: We endeavor to do tracks for them.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: We often will do.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: I can't promise us all the time.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: I wish I could, but we often will do 10,000.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_00]: May sometimes even more.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: tracks completely free, customized with whatever they need, with their brand new church address.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: We've often helped new churches again for free.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not afraid of saying this all over the airways because you may think, oh, all kinds of people are going to come out of the woodwork room, friend.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: If Lord lays on your heart to contact us, maybe your part of a church, but I cannot, unfortunately, always guarantee your promise that we can, that we might be able to help you.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: And we have done so many of them over the last couple of years, thankful to make websites and church logos and the tracks, of course, available.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: We had the opportunity to do some designs and ended up on a church van here recently.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: They were put on there with the branding and all of that on that nice church van.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's a blessed to see work that we have done, helping the cause of
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: of Christ.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I'll tell you, we need more churches.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm thankful for the fact that we get to do just a little bit to help reach the world in this way.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: We don't just print the tracks, we also get to partner with people.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, speaking of partnering with people, we take very seriously the fact that people
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: might give towards the ministry of Bible tracks and corporate.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: There are people across the world that sacrificially invest in what we are doing.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: I want to take a moment to just explain just a little bit about our stance on stewardship.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_00]: The Bible says this Luke 19 verses 10 and 12.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_00]: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: And if you have not been faithful in that which is another man's who shall give you that which is your own.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: These scriptures suggest that when managing money that is not your own, you should exercise the same or even greater care as you would with your own, ensuring honesty and avoiding selfish gain.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: At BTI, we strive to do right with your kind and sacrificial donations, as we work together with you to spread the gospel around the world.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: We believe that stewardship of other people's resources reflects one's character before God.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: One of our dear staff men, he's kind of our operations manager here at BTI, his name's Todd Loughbom, he said this, every donation.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: No matter the amount is handled with accountability, through the eyes of our Lord.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: We have one monthly donor that came to Todd's mind, who asks for prayer.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: In the life of an unsaved loved one.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: Another who asks for prayer and behalf of the children, these requests provide a great perspective on how important it is for BTI to be wise stewards of your donations.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: We cannot thank you enough for partnering with us.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: only eternity will tell how great an impact BTI has had around the world for the cause of Christ.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: We take serious of the fact that you would partner with us.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: We don't take that lightly.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: I want to let you know if you ever have any questions about what we do, how we do it here at BTI.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: You can reach out to me.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: I've had people ask me tough questions before, oftentimes it's because just there is maybe a misunderstanding or miscommunication, but I am not afraid of tough conversations.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't love them.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: They're not my favorite thing in the world.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't go through life looking for tough conversations, but oftentimes hard conversations lead to wonderful results.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: Because we can clear the air, we can make sure everyone's on the same page.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: So if there's something we've done through our gospel tracks, something we've done through our custom designs, through our music production, I'll talk about that just a moment, our gospel films.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you'd like to reach out.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you'd like to ask a question.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_00]: I have an open mailbox policy, I have an open door policy, I want to hear from you, especially those of you that pray for us that listen to this radio broadcast, maybe you invest, I want to hear from you if you ever have a concern, what a fool I would be, as the director of this ministry to think that God could trust me,

- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: At the close of the program, the announce will tell you all the other ways you can get a hold of us as well.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: I do want to mention, as we endeavored to reach the lost, we also want to edify to encourage, save folks, and we recently just put together
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: a wonderful album put out by goodly heritage.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, they recorded here at Paul of Ine Studios.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's titled, this album Be Still.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: Help for the hurting.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's the latest album from Goodly Heritage.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: It came out just in time from Mother's Day.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: So it's fresh off the presses and our purpose from Goodly Heritage and Paul of Ine Studios.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: Our purpose in singing and producing music is to bring glory to God and to edify the saints.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: Part of edifying and building
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: is helping them when they're low.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: This album is a collection of 10 songs, sung with feeling, and then 10s understanding of where our listeners have been, and might be even now.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_00]: This album is very personal to goodly heritage, because of storms, each man, there's nine guys in the group, storms, each man is faced in life and ministry, but the Austin Marriott.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: He happens to be my brother-in-law.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: He's also the studio engineer for Polybene Studios.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: Both Daniel Hudson and I, Austin said, lost our mothers when we would just young men.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: We know it's like to be hurting.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: We experienced first-hand how music can soothe and bring a stillness to the chaos.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_00]: Your hurt may revolve around different circumstances, but this album is still for you.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: And we pray that be still, this album is a blessing that God uses in the lives of thousands of dear people in their time of need.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: You can visit GoodylayHeritage.org, GoodylayHeritage.org to learn more about this album.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: We only have truly in the span of eternity a few moments together when we're on together Bible Tractecos as you listen into this program.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: I want to tell you how much it helps me, how much a blessing it is to me, to know that there are hundreds, really thousands of people out there faithfully listening to this program, not because I need to speak to thousands, but I've heard from so many of you
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: about how what we've talked about on this program has helped you before.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: I want to thank you for your partnership with this ministry, even if, whether you've never given a dime, whether you don't use our gospel tracks.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: If I knew you would listen in, that means much to me.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to end this week at Broadcasts with something that I started putting in our news letter.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how long I'll do this, but I'm blessed to read a good bit.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: I enjoy reading.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I want to mention a quote or two, from some books I would recommend.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_00]: I received the last time I put one of these in our latest newsletter, I received a lot of positive remarks about the list of recommended books I included in.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: So I felt led to include some more in our next newsletter.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of you actually should be receiving our newsletter about today, or maybe you received even last week, depending on how quick the mail came to you.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I have three books, I'm gonna share a quick quote from each of them.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: The first is from Warren Wearsby, the title is on being a servant of God.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: He said this, God is glorified when people see the master and not the minister.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's a thought to chew on for a little while isn't it?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: This next book, from Jim Collins, titled Good To Great, why some companies make the leap and others don't.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the quote, greatness is not a function of circumstance, greatness it turns out, is largely a matter of conscious choice and discipline.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: makes me wonder, am I this little enough to be considered great?
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: Might have some work to do there, huh?
- 12:01[SPEAKER_00]: This last one was written by Patrick Lennsey-One, the book is titled The Ideal Team Player.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: He said this leaders who can identify, hire, and cultivate employees who are humble, hungry, and smart, people smart, will have a serious advantage over those who cannot.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that could apply to pastors as well, may not hire your church members, but you can cultivate God's people and try to build them up in that a fine.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: I want to thank you so much for listening this week.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: My prayer is always, is that you have a great day for God's glory.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: We'll play not talking to you very soon.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: God bless.
- 13:13[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for tuning in to Bible Tract Echoes, the radio ministry of Bible Tracts Incorporated.
