De Pere’s Historic Bank Gets National Recognition | Green Bay News

De Pere’s State Bank just earned historic glory—officially listed on the National Register for its stunning Beaux Arts design, the only one of its kind in town and just two left in Brown County. Built in 1877, it got a lavish 1904 makeover by local architect Henry Foeller, featuring limestone, granite columns, mosaic floors, and an original vault—all preserved to this day. The Wisconsin Historical Society announced the honor on August 14th, celebrating a century of craftsmanship and architectural legacy that still stands tall.
