- 0:15Years have come and gone, but some September
- 0:18mornings still feel like dawn. When the sky turned
- 0:22dark and the whole world cried and heroes ran
- 0:25toward danger while we ran to hide. Through the
- 0:28smoke and the flames, through the dust and the
- 0:31tears, they carried strangers out and carried
- 0:33memories through the years. And the names we
- 0:37speak still echo in the air. For every life that
- 0:40was lost, we remember we care. The lives that
- 0:48we lost and the lives they left. From the towers
- 0:52to the Pentagon. To a Pennsylvania field where
- 0:56heroes carried on. Firefighters, police, and
- 1:00the brave EMS. Soldiers who answered America's
- 1:04call to defend. Families who carried the weight
- 1:08of those years. 25 years and we still remember.
- 1:18Mothers who waited, fathers who prayed, children
- 1:21who wondered why their daddy never came home
- 1:24that day. There were husbands and wives who learned
- 1:27to be strong, carrying an empty chair as the
- 1:30years moved along. In New York City, stood beneath
- 1:34a cloud of gray, but somehow found the strength
- 1:37to face another day. A city wounded, but refusing
- 1:42to fall. One heartbeat, one nation, standing
- 1:45together through it all. We'll be right back.
- 2:44We'll be right back. But courage answered when
- 3:06terror came by. Let's roll became more than words
- 3:10that day. It became a promise that freedom would
- 3:16stay. Then came the challenges beneath foreign
- 3:21skies where young men and women answered America's
- 3:25cries across Afghanistan, Iraq and lands far
- 3:29away. They carried the burden that. That day
- 3:33some came home wounded, some never returned.
- 3:37Their families carried the sorrow. Their brothers
- 3:40remembered from firefighters, helmets to soldiers,
- 3:44stars. Freedom was defended by heroes near and
- 3:48far. 25 years, but we won't forget the lives
- 3:54they gave and the lives they left from the towers
- 3:58to the Pentagon. a Pennsylvania field where heroes
