Two local legends are being celebrated this fall at History San Jose’s Valley of Heart’s Delight event: Brian Adams, the 68-year-old educator and former TV/radio icon retiring from Bellarmine College Prep, and Erin Salazar, founder of Local Color, who’s helped transform San Jose’s arts scene with murals, studios, and $2.1 million in artist support. Adams will receive a City Council commendation on Aug. 25, while Salazar’s work as a cultural architect earns her the History Maker award.
