- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's 305, 800 Payne, 305, 800 Payne.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so what is there to talk about?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the trade deadline has come and gone.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_01]: The last time we've talked to you, Chris Greer was in charge.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: He is no longer here.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let me tell you where I think they should go and where they might even go going forward with the structure here.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_01]: I am not going to look up the front office director and just start saying, fire this guy, fire that guy, fire the other guy, I'm not going to do that, okay?
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know a few of those people.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to do that on this show.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I will tell you this.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: They have to streamline leadership on this team.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, the interim GM is Champ Kelly.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Champ Kelly,
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: He has a little bit of a different background than what Chris Greer had, a much different background than what Marvin Allen has.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: But there is redundant leadership right under Marvin Allen on this team.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not going to name names, but I'm saying we're talking two or three levels of redundant leadership.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if I was in charge, if I'm the new general manager, I would keep a champ Kelly type as my assistant general manager, I will keep a director of scouting and fire the rest.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: Which means you would fire about three that are currently employed.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: Three people that are currently employed.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: When you have redundant leadership and I spoke about this on the podcast many, many, many times.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: What you attend to do is create either an echo chamber, which is a bad thing.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: Or worse, you create a debate committee.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I said this on the podcast, if myself, Simon, and Chris were handed the keys to the dolphins, we would run it right into the fucking ground.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay?
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: We would.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: We would just sit around debating players all day and you don't need that in a meaningful franchise.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: You just don't need to have one direction.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I support an analytical type and Alex Haliby type.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody at the head of the organization, one person to do college scouting, one person for pro personnel, and then one head of scouting, and that's it.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, you can have your cap guy, you know, Brandon's sure is not going anywhere.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like his job, he is essential personnel.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: So that's a guy that you do not get rid of.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I would keep Brandon Shore.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I would do as far as the next GM structure.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_01]: Do we know who they're interviewing so far?
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's some rumors, but nothing concrete.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing's come of it so far.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: You could tell that they're probably a little uneasy right now.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: Mike McDaniel revealed that it was champ Kelly himself,
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: that were running the trade deadline.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Are there a lot of different agendas in there?
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Probably, who has the team's best interest at heart in that group of three, probably, brand-end drawer?
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: And there's also reports that, well, when I say reports, it's essentially Florio saying it.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Florio says a champ Kelly has no shot at the job.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: So, that's interesting in and of itself, because is he promised the job under the GM possibly?
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, we don't know.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: I made my feelings known on Twitter.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: I made my feelings known on the podcast.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I don't like the trade.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is the kind of trade that has a reasonable expectation to blow up in your face.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: So, now what do I mean by that?
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: Look, it's entirely possible that he's gonna blow out his knee and you're gonna sit around saying, ah, see?
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: We're right.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_01]: Zandry prone.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: We got a third rompick out of it.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I think more likely than not because the tape is actually showing this going forward.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's gonna come around.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: And not only is he gonna come around, he's gonna make an impact, and not only is he gonna make an impact, he's gonna get himself paid.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think he's gonna play well, he's gonna have good teammates.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Now, trading him to Philadelphia accomplished two things.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, you're helping the Eagles defend their Super Bowl title.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yes, like that's, that's a given, like that's going to happen.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: You're also helping his profile.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to make his debut on Monday Night Football against the Packers next Monday.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_01]: You think that's going to draw a crowd?
- 6:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's going to get some good ratings.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think so.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to play well.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: And not only is he going to play well, I think he's going to play himself into a pretty big contract.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: So for those of you out there, they're saying, ah, you know, who gives a crap?
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: You got a third wrong pick.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: You just resign them in the free and in the off season.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: This is not mad, and that's not the way it works.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: He is going to raise his profile.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to price himself way out of our league.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And he is no longer a Miami Dolphin.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: It will no longer be a Miami Dolphin.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they'll sign them, you know, eight years from now when his career is almost over.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that's gone.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: That ship has sailed.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: You sold it for a late third Ron pick.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: And you picked up most of the freight going forward.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: $5.1 million, the Eagles are just going to pick up 1.5 million of his remaining salary, so he didn't even get the capital either.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: on the podcast I said look it's pretty simple I get I pick up the phone you know it's how he rose when he wants jailing folks understood okay let's make it nice nice and easy
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Give us a third rompick.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we'll give you our worse third rompick.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're going to give us your worse third rompick.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: You're picking up his entire salary.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, you're not.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, tell you what.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'll pick up his entire salary, but you give us the Jets third rompick instead.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, that's not good enough.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, good.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: Then I guess we got nothing to talk about.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: How we?
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's pretty simple.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like we just bent to their will and made it nice and easy for them.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: We punted on jello Phillips.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: We fire sold jello Phillips.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: And again, if you're if you're back into a corner hoping for injury, you're already lost.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of dolphins like doing that like oh you know if he gets injured we're going to look smart on this more likely than that you're not going to look very smart on this at least not this one at least I don't think so they did not trade Bradley Chub they did not trade make a Fitzpatrick they did not trade General Water because he was never available by the way but that's one of those things and look that was media driven the media shot Jalen Water
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: don't believe me, take a little stroll through Twitter, all of these little thief-thens out there in Twitter, giants, you know, even bills, okay, content creators, they just started drumbeat, that drumbeat reaches ESPN, and then ESPN starts accessing questions, and of course the teams are going to be like, my god, there's so much noise, let's do our due diligence on this thing.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: Mind me stuck to their guns and yeah, they needed a first rompick plus and yeah, that's what you need But at some point you have things that are again essential personal like can you get 10 first rompick for Patrick Mahomes of course you can Why would you want them?
- 9:44[SPEAKER_01]: Right That's the case here.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: Can you get a first rompick and maybe a third for Jill and water?
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, of course of course again Why would you want it?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, that was a complete waste of time, similarly with Devon HN.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: But it wasn't a waste of time with make-up for its Patrick.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: And it's my understanding that they did have the framework of a deal with the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys needed the assets elsewhere and used those assets elsewhere.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: So, they couldn't consummate a deal there.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: On Bradley Chub, I'm told, pretty much didn't go anywhere.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: My name is Asking Price.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: was considerably higher than what was considered a legitimate quote unquote legitimate asking price for most in the NFL other than that
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: There's no word on what happened with, uh, with Matthew Tudon, no word on Russell Douglas.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_01]: And that one kind of shocks me because there's a few teams, Green Bay first of all has a history with Russell Douglas, have you watched them play?
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: They need corner back out.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: That would have been one of the teams I would have guaranteed would have called.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, we're gonna go to break, but before we do let me tell you about Factor, it's Fall, which means football, and between going back to school, busy routines and shorter days, finding time to cook can be tough, and that's why I love Factor.

- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let me get to your questions here.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: We should have a few in the...
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: in the chatting, yes, we do.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: I will get to as many as I can, if not all of them.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right, first question.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: Is there anyone who has not been getting snaps or minimal snaps, that you expect to see a significantly increased role over the second half of the season?
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: The reports are that Mike is viewed as safe until at least the end of the season if the team continues to lose, do you think it's likely that Mike gets canned before the end of the season or have they completely hitched their wagon to letting him finish?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: Is there anyone who has been getting steps?
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_01]: Who has not been getting steps?
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Look Choprops has to play more and I don't understand why he's not playing more.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: The defense attack should play more.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: Simple as that.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: Now anybody obscure?
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Trader should play more.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he played well against the Ravens.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: I understand he gave up the big play to Zay Flowers over the top other than that.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he played very very well in that game.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: He deserves a longer look and I understand the warts, you know.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: He's slow.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: so reason he went and what the fifth round so yeah you know he's slow he's not ideal that's he's not the picture of a safety in the NFL like I did especially in the modern NFL the modern NFL
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: You kind of need these guys to have a little giddy up, they have to be fast because they have to be interchangeable to be able to be moved into the nickel roll or when teams go for vert or when teams go empty, they have to be able to flex out to the boundary.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I'll be who of you if you're not slow, man.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like you don't want to be slow That's not ideal, but he can play football So that's a guy I would like to see Play more I'll leave Gordon shook at the ball more.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely Other than that I tied in don't care.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: I wide receiver.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_01]: We saw Todd's Washington.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: He was a disaster
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: I guess the Ravens should you get a little more on you?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, you know, like why do you got to see Cedric Wilson like what's the point?
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: What's the point in seeing Cedric Wilson?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think Malik Washington should get a longer look in bigger roles in the offense Other than that I can't think of anything else and yeah Mike McDaniel should be here to the end of the season It's what they want to do So they want to get a good long look at him for the rest of the season
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, next question at this point of the season and with the way the results have been so far is if fair to say everyone is playing for their job starting job.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, including all the coaches because if Mike McDaniel stays you don't think he's going to be evaluating a lot of these guys under him.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think he will
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: could there be our own version of Black Monday?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, like I can see a situation where Mike McDaniel keeps his job and then shit cans half of his stuff like that's a possibility.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's always a possibility.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: And in my opinion, look, man, unless you're winning Super Bowl at the Super Bowl, unless you're the Kansas City Chiefs, all right?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: And you're competing for Super Bowl's every single year, year-end, and year-out.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: Unless you're doing that, I don't mind each shake up every four or five years.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: And going into your five, yeah, that's something you kind of want to do.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: You want to shake things up just a little bit.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: Even in some of the units that you think might be good.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: So we shall see.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: Next question.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: We will reach a point where players begin to get moved to IR for minor injuries.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: Will we reach a point where players begin to get moved to IR for minor injuries to poach, practice squad players from other teams, and get them into the building head into your offices.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, absolutely.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: There at this point, I'm hitting that now.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the thing.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of stopped myself.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: If they had a coherent structure in the front office, yes, but I don't know what that is.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like we kind of know that it's champ Kelly, it's Mike McDaniel, and Brandon Shore.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: And those guys managed to work together enough to play this game toward the end of the season.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: And usually when you do that is when you hit that ninth loss, you kind of know it's a rap.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: So once you hit the ninth loss, you want to start preparing for the off season and for
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: you want to get a you want to get at least a jump on everybody else so yeah that's something I would expect them to do toward the end of the year especially yeah the last month of the season is when I would expect them to do something like that.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Next question, do the snap counts of veterans we didn't trade like Chubb starting going start going down Crabs pointed out that he has some incentives.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's likely to reach so so that might the Dalton's try to make sure he doesn't hit those specifically For sacks and playing time and if they tried what he have a grievance outside of the quarterbacks what players do you like for the fins in the top five presuming we stay there
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, great question.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: There's one that I think is probably in jeopardy for Bradley Chub.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: Look like the sack one you can't hold them up.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: But keep it from getting the sack and send if he has four he needs six.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, how are you gonna do it?
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: But you can do is that he has a incentive, which is based on 60% snaps, he has to play 60% of the snaps and if he does, he reaches that incentive.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: You could absolutely control that one, and you should control that one for two reasons.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, you need to play chop, rob it some more, and second of all, he's just not good anymore.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, why would you play somebody like that 60% of the snaps?
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's a guy.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Does he have a grievance?
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely not.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: It happens all the time.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: And the NFL teams do it all the time.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: Teams screw their players out of incentive toward the end of the year all the time.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes players get close.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: And the team pays it out.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, you could hold down the snaps incentive.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: The sack one.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see how, you know, unless you're just benching.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: The second part of this question was, outside of the quarterbacks, what players do you like for the fans in the top five, presumably when we stay there?
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, the safety out of Ohio State, down absolutely, and Ruben Bane, defensive end out of the University of Miami.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: Let me tell you, Ruben Bane is creating a new stat for himself, which is the non-called holding penalties.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: I encourage you.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I know it's hard to get all 22.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to get all 22 of a college program.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: Almost impossible in some cases.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: And just put on the, you know, if you have a DVR at home, you know, find the prospects you want to take a good look at, record those games and then just just watch them.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you can watch them with your remote control just fast forward through the commercials and through, you know, when the offense has the ball, just watch the defensive snaps.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: I implore you, watch Ruben Bane Jr. play football.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: He gets held 10, 15 times a game, sometimes 20 times a game, it's borderline comical.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: uh, I would want that on my team.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: I have zero concerns about his size.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: He is an inch shorter.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: My comparable for him, by the way, is Nick Bosa.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like I compare them directly to Nick Bosa.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right down to his pedigree, down here as a high school player.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: Both of them were high school legends.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_01]: One at the time is the quantity of the one at central.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: I will tell you this.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: He is only an inch shorter than Nick Bosa.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: He is about 10 pounds heavier than Nick Bosa.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit more dense while Nick Bosa is more vascular.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I hear everybody say, oh my god, but his arms are short.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_01]: His arms are only a quarter inch shorter than Nick Bosa's.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's who I like.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: Next question, I do like the safety from Ohio State by the way.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's a difference maker.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's a Kalhamaton type.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: And if you had to ask me and not that anybody's asking, although this is a Q&A, if you ask me who is the best defense player in the NFL,
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: Man, it's hard to mention, you know, like I probably give you three, one of them is Kalhamatan of the Baltimore Ravens, because he's a chess piece you could use everywhere.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_01]: You could, you could have them do everything.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is there?
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: They look, he could play linebacker, he could play in the nickel, he could play in the deep third.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he can rush the pastor who's good blitzing, disguising blitzes, he could be a green dot.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is a guy that you can move all over the field.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Would you want something like that?
- 22:50[SPEAKER_01]: Would you use a top five pick on something like that?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: I would.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: Next question, could there be a two-a-in-kind or swap this sausage, all of Jesus Christ?
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: Depending on who the GM is, would Mike McDaniel want a calamary?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think he could run his system.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: There's certain things that he can do, and there's certain throws he can make, that kind of fit the bill for Miami.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's always interesting, right?
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: It is interesting.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Another guy that I mentioned, and I mentioned this in the Discord, again, our Discord is only friends.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: You could go on there, discord.gg forward slash only friends.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: You become a member of their all access for $4.99 a month.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: I guy that I mentioned that could be the next Matthew Stafford.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's Prescott.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now what might we be in on something like that?
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Nah, it's I think it's a team maybe at first a lot You got to deal with Jerry Jones or more importantly Steven Jones, who's actually running that thing and Would they trade deck presscott?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_01]: Probably not
- 23:51[SPEAKER_01]: But where does he fit?
- 23:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think he fits a team that's loaded.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_01]: That has a loaded roster.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_01]: It looks at the quarterback and says, this is a problem.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: If we had a better quarterback, we'd have a shot.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: And that would be the team that would trade for deck.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: Praskot and deck Praskot would pay off.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: We'll pay big, big dividends in my opinion.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's one of the best quarterbacks in football.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: I really do believe so.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: But that's a, that's a dumpster fire over there.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: You like our defense?
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: You don't, right?
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: You think our defense sucks?
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: Somehow the cowboy's defense is worse.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's how bad it is over there.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Their offense was averaging 33 points a game and they're 35 and 1.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, it's bad.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: All right, next question, as we wind down here.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: Do you feel like a new gym can really change the merry-go-round and what are your key wants in the new GM?
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he can, but they're going to have to reorganize the redundant leadership below the general manager.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_01]: And what do I want?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: I want an analytical mind.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: I want a guy who's worked on the contract side of things if he has an extensive agent Rolladex that'd be great if he was a former super agent that would and I know I'm I'm kind of describing my tan and bomb Just don't be my tan and bomb
- 25:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and by the way, Mike's time to mind wasn't ever from the analytical side.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: He was just kind of a he was from the agent side the contract side Somebody in that regard Favorite in the clubhouse haliby of of the Eagles is my favorite in the clubhouse.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: He fits the bill completely So yeah, that's what I would want and that's what I would do
- 25:33[SPEAKER_01]: at what point should we start worrying about and this is going to be the last question as we had out of here for the week.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: At what point should we start worrying that Daniels Jackson and Liam don't come back this season.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I don't think that Liam McIntyre is coming back this season.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_01]: That was a weird and odd Odyssey.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Got paid $3 million disappeared.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_01]: Now, Austin Jackson James Daniels, that's been a huge black mark on their, in one case their career his career his entire career here and another case the start of the other guys career here.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: I've got signed here as the prize free agent in place three snaps like you know get the fuck out of here Like really Austin Jackson.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: I am ready to replace and I think he's a priority.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think I think it's a priority position When the season ends day one after the season ends You should go to a whiteboard and write down right tackle need
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: and is there a way that you could draft a guy and bring back Austin Jackson for a year?
- 26:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, for uh, uh, for, not for continuity's sake, but for, you know, for cap sake for, you know, you made it a commitment to him that is harder to break.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: But drafting a guy and starting Austin Jackson and just looking at Austin Jackson like
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's, I think that's a good situation to be in, to be honest with you.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I am actively seeking to replace Austin Jackson as soon as season it.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't care where he comes back and plays spectacular seven games to end the season.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: We can't be doing this every single year.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: He plays and then boom, he's gone for half a year.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, we can't do that.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: You just can't do that.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: And we can't do that.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_01]: And we got to stop doing that.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's it for me.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's it for this week.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to become a member of this of only friends, you want to ask, you want to ask questions on these shows.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: You want to watch these shows get taped live every single week.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_01]: There's only way you can do that.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: The only way you can do that is by going to Discord and going to our Discord specifically.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_01]: And that's discord.gg
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, sign up on a desktop.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: See you guys next week.
