Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome to the Rogue Recap. Hot takes, cold facts, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: zero respect for the official narrative. Sit back, roll your eyes,
- 0:10Speaker 1: and let's recap rogue style.
- 0:30Speaker 2: What's up, guys, and welcome to the Rogue Recap and
- 0:33Speaker 2: this edition of Soundbites with my dear friend Eric Eggers,
- 0:36Speaker 2: who is currently taking a moment from the high life
- 0:40Speaker 2: to join me because he's actually away again. As you know,
- 0:44Speaker 2: these savant elite educators often do they take these luxurious
- 0:49Speaker 2: lavage breaks in the summer. I don't know, you know,
- 0:52Speaker 2: I work in politics. We don't get breaks. Oh wait,
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Unless I was a senator, then I would
- 0:55Speaker 2: get like three hundred days. So I've clearly picked the
- 0:57Speaker 2: wrong profession. But mister Eggers, how are you?
- 1:00Speaker 3: I'm actually not trying to be an elitist American. I'm
- 1:02Speaker 3: just trying to be a blue collar European because apparently
- 1:04Speaker 3: they get eight weeks the twelve weeks of vacation every
- 1:08Speaker 3: year and they can just go on these walkabouts or
- 1:10Speaker 3: whatever you like to call them. But no, it's it's hey, listen,
- 1:13Speaker 3: just because it's the summertime, the news doesn't stop. As
- 1:17Speaker 3: the number of clips we're going to play today. It's
- 1:19Speaker 3: been the wild this week. I know you and I
- 1:21Speaker 3: both kind of freaked out about everything that happened to
- 1:22Speaker 3: Lindsey Graham and all the different angles sit there and
- 1:26Speaker 3: the Mitch McConnell pictures and it's just it's a wild,
- 1:29Speaker 3: wild time in the news.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It is and best comeback ever because manner you right,
- 1:34Speaker 2: the Europeans, they get it right. They take off the
- 1:36Speaker 2: whole month of August, which those of you who have
- 1:40Speaker 2: ever traveled abroad and you've made the mistake as a
- 1:42Speaker 2: dumbass American and you get there, like, where's all the people, bro,
- 1:46Speaker 2: And they're like, yeah, we left. Sorry.
- 1:48Speaker 3: So just to be clear, all the World Cup tourists
- 1:50Speaker 3: in the country this month are just pregaming for their August.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 2: So funny.
- 1:57Speaker 3: And you wonder why socialism has the appeal that it does.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, no kidding, I'm like, I guess that's what happens
- 2:01Speaker 2: when you have terrible hospitals and nowhere to go. You're
- 2:03Speaker 2: just like, I'm going to live, you know, life to
- 2:05Speaker 2: the fullest carpet dim because you know what, I'm gonna
- 2:07Speaker 2: die real soon and they're not being able to save
- 2:09Speaker 2: me because they spend all the money on vacation. So
- 2:12Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell speaking of which, yes, what a crock of shit.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Oh my god. This is one of those moments when
- 2:19Speaker 2: I saw that post and I was like, first of all,
- 2:22Speaker 2: who puts you in Gingham?
- 2:23Speaker 5: Mitch?
- 2:23Speaker 2: Who did this to you? It's just long? I mean,
- 2:26Speaker 2: Elaine must really hate you, you know. And so then
- 2:30Speaker 2: you know, everybody does what everybody does now because and
- 2:32Speaker 2: I was just talking to you about this off camera,
- 2:34Speaker 2: but you see something and then you run it through
- 2:37Speaker 2: the AI detector because you're like, no, this can't be real,
- 2:39Speaker 2: can't be real. And of course his came back can't
- 2:42Speaker 2: be real.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Now.
- 2:42Speaker 2: What's interesting about that is that photos from twenty twenty three.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So I'm wondering if the whole photo from twenty twenty
- 2:51Speaker 2: three is also a lie because that was also from
- 2:55Speaker 2: a rehab stint that he had. So I was like, huh, anyways,
- 3:00Speaker 2: but all the other stuff in the photo was fake,
- 3:03Speaker 2: So that would the AI part.
- 3:05Speaker 6: I think.
- 3:05Speaker 3: So I actually think I went the other way on it.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I think everyone thinks that they put out that fake
- 3:09Speaker 3: photo to show that Mitch McConnell was like alive, and well,
- 3:13Speaker 3: I actually think they put it out to make it
- 3:14Speaker 3: look like Elaine Shaw was hanging out with Americans instead
- 3:16Speaker 3: of Chinese, like she's liked, no, I'm I'm here with
- 3:19Speaker 3: my husband, not doing anything crazy over in China.
- 3:22Speaker 6: Come on, talk it on.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So there's this girl. I'm sure you've seen her too,
- 3:27Speaker 2: Desiree Townsend. She's like the lone reporter covering Mitch McConnell.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Have you seen this girl? No, I actually have a
- 3:35Speaker 2: cut of her. I might show it to you. She's fantastic.
- 3:38Speaker 2: She's like outside of the hospital where Mitch currently is
- 3:42Speaker 2: and she's like, yeah, day thirty two of covering Mitch. Interesting. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 2: so no pneumonia, no severe illness, no broken bones, but
- 3:53Speaker 2: we haven't seen him and he's on a floor of
- 3:56Speaker 2: this hospital that only has sixteen beds. So it's like, okay,
- 4:02Speaker 2: that sounds very covert and slightly intense, like maybe we
- 4:07Speaker 2: need a lot of space for a lot of machines,
- 4:09Speaker 2: so we don't have space for beds. I don't know,
- 4:11Speaker 2: you know, asking for a friend. But there's no audio
- 4:15Speaker 2: of him. There's like every like Scott Jennings when he
- 4:18Speaker 2: released that post. I like Scott, I don't know, I
- 4:23Speaker 2: was like bro what do they have pictures of you?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Like what happened? Like everybody knows you're lying, Like because
- 4:30Speaker 2: we're normal and he seems so normal, And I was like,
- 4:33Speaker 2: what going on?
- 4:35Speaker 6: I just talked to miss McConnell.
- 4:36Speaker 3: He just finished up his P ninety X workout and
- 4:39Speaker 3: he was getting ready. The problem is, like we did
- 4:42Speaker 3: this before, not too long ago with Joe Biden, right,
- 4:45Speaker 3: I mean, like, so we've been here, and I do
- 4:47Speaker 3: think it's just in a series of the last six
- 4:50Speaker 3: years between COVID and the election and then Joe Biden,
- 4:54Speaker 3: like we have been routinely lied to by the people
- 4:57Speaker 3: who should tell us the truth. So you can't blame
- 5:00Speaker 3: people for being skeptical and you know, whatever's true, Like
- 5:02Speaker 3: I mean, everything about Lindsay Graham's heart condition, all that
- 5:04Speaker 3: stuff might be absolutely true, but it doesn't mean that
- 5:08Speaker 3: people are going to have questions, especially with the circumstances
- 5:11Speaker 3: of you know, coming back from Ukraine and the drones
- 5:14Speaker 3: and he's the last video apparently he's in is saying
- 5:16Speaker 3: like this drone is going to go to Russia, and
- 5:18Speaker 3: you know Russia doesn't take that stuff.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Lane down. It's just a lot there.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Well, not to mention the fact, you know, I'm not
- 5:24Speaker 2: going to speak ill of the dead. And I happened
- 5:26Speaker 2: to be affiliated with a lot of people who like
- 5:28Speaker 2: Lindsay Graham. But I had a lot of questions about
- 5:33Speaker 2: Lindsay Graham's choices on mostly international matters, and one of
- 5:38Speaker 2: them was the frequency at which he was with Zelensky,
- 5:43Speaker 2: how often he was visiting Ukraine, how readily he voted
- 5:48Speaker 2: for more funding to unmonitored monies to Ukraine. I'm like, hmm,
- 5:53Speaker 2: it seems weird too, dude.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Hey, by the way, Mitch McConnell too right. I mean,
- 5:56Speaker 3: remember remember it was like the government shutdown was going on,
- 6:00Speaker 3: and Mitch McConnell and I think Lindsay Graham, They're like, listen,
- 6:02Speaker 3: the number one priority for Republican primary voters is Ukraine
- 6:05Speaker 3: fund crank. That's very clear to us. I'm like, what
- 6:08Speaker 3: it's like, who are you talking to now? It's just
- 6:10Speaker 3: it's really it's really interesting and good for that reporter
- 6:14Speaker 3: who's hanging out around Mitch McConnell's a hospital.
- 6:16Speaker 6: You know, that's a it's a line.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Your reporters have stopped being curious, right, And I read
- 6:21Speaker 3: this interview about this guy did an autobiography on Obama
- 6:25Speaker 3: or biography on Obama, and his thing was like, here's you.
- 6:28Speaker 3: You have a guy, it's about Joe. Biden's got these
- 6:30Speaker 3: like weird, you know, weak mental faculties. And you've got
- 6:32Speaker 3: to sit at former President of United States living in Washington,
- 6:35Speaker 3: d C. Where were the reporters who should have been
- 6:37Speaker 3: camped outside his house in Georgetown to watch who's going
- 6:41Speaker 3: who's not going. I mean, that's what reporters used to do.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Well remember to that point, and it's an excellent one.
- 6:48Speaker 2: There were a few reporters that went to the White
- 6:50Speaker 2: House wanted to get the White House logs. I think
- 6:52Speaker 2: it was just before we were about to get the
- 6:55Speaker 2: break on the classified documents in the residence in Delaware,
- 6:59Speaker 2: and so we were trying to find out who had
- 7:01Speaker 2: been at the White House. Now, this happened twice during
- 7:03Speaker 2: the Biden administration. Once was when they couldn't figure out
- 7:06Speaker 2: whose cocaine it was and the second one. The second
- 7:10Speaker 2: one was who was going in and out to meet
- 7:13Speaker 2: Joe Biden because they were trying to figure out who
- 7:15Speaker 2: the big guy was. Right, obviously we all know who
- 7:17Speaker 2: the big guy was. There is no mystery the whole idea.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Like I said the other day, and I've been saying
- 7:22Speaker 2: this more frequently now that I am a common sense advocate.
- 7:25Speaker 2: People are like, oh, you're a conspiracy theorist. We have
- 7:28Speaker 2: no proof of that. I'm like, well, I have eyeballs
- 7:30Speaker 2: and i have ears, and so it's a super cool.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I'm using my two of my five senses. I'm putting
- 7:36Speaker 2: them to work, and they're they're doing a great job.
- 7:38Speaker 2: They are.
- 7:38Speaker 3: You're what we like to call a forty percent utilizer,
- 7:41Speaker 3: So great job on that. You know, maybe should start
- 7:45Speaker 3: licking the news. Then I think you're a little bit concerned,
- 7:49Speaker 3: maybe too much, but.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Sure, let me show you this girl. We'll just play.
- 7:53Speaker 2: I actually use this in a show I did the
- 7:54Speaker 2: other day. But I love her again. Her name's Desiree Townsend.
- 7:58Speaker 2: She is in front of the hospital currently that holding
- 8:02Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell, and she's got so much snark in SaaS.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I just love it.
- 8:09Speaker 7: Desre talented here again outside of George Washington University in Washington,
- 8:12Speaker 7: d C. For the medical mystery that is Mitch McConnell.
- 8:16Speaker 7: Today marks day thirty two of Senator McConnell's hospitalization for
- 8:19Speaker 7: what his office is officially described as a fall in
- 8:21Speaker 7: a mild pneumonia, making his nearly five week hospital say
- 8:25Speaker 7: increasingly unusual an issue by his office. Mcconnald is currently
- 8:30Speaker 7: in rehabilitation. Likely in the hospital is a cute rehabilitation unit,
- 8:34Speaker 7: a sixteen bed facility on the fourth floor here. According
- 8:38Speaker 7: to George Washington University Hospital, it provides twenty four hour
- 8:41Speaker 7: rehabilitative nursing care for patients to require at least two
- 8:45Speaker 7: types of therapy following conditions such as a brain injury,
- 8:48Speaker 7: multiple trauma, stroke, or neurological disorders. Based on the official
- 8:53Speaker 7: description of his condition, a fall with no reported broken bones, fractures,
- 8:58Speaker 7: or concussion followed by mild pneumonia, a hospitalization approaching five weeks,
- 9:03Speaker 7: along with an extended stay in the acute rehabilitation unit
- 9:07Speaker 7: does not align with his publicly stated current condition.
- 9:10Speaker 6: So what is going on here?
- 9:11Speaker 7: Perhaps Mitch McConnell does not want to return home to
- 9:14Speaker 7: his DC home until his wife, Elane Child finishes installing
- 9:17Speaker 7: the new floors, or possibly could it be GW is
- 9:20Speaker 7: overbilling Medicare. Maybe just maybe someone is actually lying about
- 9:26Speaker 7: what happened to Senator McConnell.
- 9:29Speaker 6: That's amazing. I love her.
- 9:32Speaker 2: She's out there every day, God bless her. And I
- 9:35Speaker 2: just think she is such a bawler. Absolutely no, like
- 9:40Speaker 2: no's given right.
- 9:41Speaker 3: She's just like and it's again like using your common sense. Okay,
- 9:45Speaker 3: so he's got this medical condition. They're saying it was
- 9:47Speaker 3: related to mild ammonia in a fall. Meanwhile, like we've
- 9:50Speaker 3: seen him freeze on multiple occasions. Now, it's it's just bad, right.
- 9:54Speaker 3: And I do think that the sad part of it
- 9:56Speaker 3: is like if they think they can get away with
- 9:58Speaker 3: it because they have gotten away with it before, like
- 10:00Speaker 3: and there's relatively no consequences after the fact, I mean,
- 10:03Speaker 3: and they should think that Yeah, yeah, no, I.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Know and so and I think another part of it
- 10:08Speaker 2: is and this is me going, this is me going
- 10:10Speaker 2: on conspiracy lane, everybody. I've got a little got a
- 10:12Speaker 2: little condo there. I'm just letting you know. You know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: there is some speculation about who's doing all the voting
- 10:18Speaker 2: for him. It's not him, So is it that staffer
- 10:21Speaker 2: that we know is not on our side of the aisle?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Is this part of the John Thune, let's keep the
- 10:26Speaker 2: pro form of voting gone let's keep the Save Act
- 10:29Speaker 2: far far away, because he's got one point six million
- 10:32Speaker 2: dollars coming in from cheap labor lobbyists. You know, there's
- 10:36Speaker 2: so much here. And the problem is, and I say
- 10:39Speaker 2: this all the time, as do you, the average American
- 10:42Speaker 2: has no idea that this is happening, like none, So
- 10:46Speaker 2: they can't follow it, they can't get pissed off about it.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And we're having how many hearings this week? Right? We've
- 10:51Speaker 2: got Amy Cony, Barrett, Elena Kagan, Kevin Worsh, Todd Blanche
- 10:57Speaker 2: I'm like, could anybody else testify on the hell this week?
- 11:01Speaker 8: Right?
- 11:02Speaker 2: It's it's a lot. I mean, it's a lot for me.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Oh and by the way, we're going to bomb me
- 11:06Speaker 2: Ron the first three nights of the week. Oh and
- 11:09Speaker 2: the President is doing a national address today. Today's Thursday
- 11:13Speaker 2: for those of you listening.
- 11:14Speaker 6: So none of these yah, so one of the hundred people.
- 11:17Speaker 3: And by the way, like when you've only got a
- 11:18Speaker 3: three vote majority, no, it's it's like it matters. It's
- 11:21Speaker 3: a real thing, right, It's a real thing. There's a
- 11:23Speaker 3: lot happening in the world. We need the people who
- 11:25Speaker 3: we've elected to be there, just be honest, and again
- 11:27Speaker 3: he's got till, I believe August third to say he's
- 11:32Speaker 3: not going to live out the remainder of his term
- 11:34Speaker 3: or serve out the remain of his term for them
- 11:36Speaker 3: to have a special election.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And guess what August requires, you know what August third is.
- 11:41Speaker 2: August third is the last day that we can pass
- 11:44Speaker 2: the Save Act to be within the ninety day rule
- 11:48Speaker 2: of changing any voter rules or compromising anything to do
- 11:51Speaker 2: with voter role integrity prior to a general election. Just saying,
- 11:57Speaker 2: you know, just again using these senses, We'll just look.
- 12:02Speaker 6: At your star charts over here, Linda, I don't even
- 12:04Speaker 6: know the.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Baby Jesus was like eyes ears, use them go, you
- 12:08Speaker 2: know on you. So anyways, speaking of common sense, Mary
- 12:12Speaker 2: Miller of Illinois, who I think is terrific. She's really
- 12:15Speaker 2: she's kind of funny and dry, and she's definitely somebody
- 12:18Speaker 2: who like kind of low on the radar, and then
- 12:20Speaker 2: she pops up with like some snarky comments, which she
- 12:22Speaker 2: did this week. They were questioning, uh, this DEI stuff
- 12:27Speaker 2: that's coming up throughout universities, and she's got literally the
- 12:32Speaker 2: two deans from the medical schools of UCLA and UCSF.
- 12:37Speaker 2: So these are Ivy League institutions, right, okay, and they're
- 12:42Speaker 2: supposed to put out the best of the best. And
- 12:44Speaker 2: she's having these conversations very seriously with them, and they
- 12:47Speaker 2: are answering her with the most absurd responses. I mean,
- 12:51Speaker 2: I've heard some things. This is really it's it's actually
- 12:55Speaker 2: painful to listen to them attempt to not answer with science.
- 13:01Speaker 3: As doctors well, and because they have because there are
- 13:04Speaker 3: like medical officials with the university, So there's like a
- 13:06Speaker 3: certain you know, there's magic thinking. They have to adhere
- 13:09Speaker 3: to you or at least not overtly contradict and that's
- 13:12Speaker 3: I think the dance you see them having right now.
- 13:14Speaker 6: It's great.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yes, So we're gonna play two clips. Here is number one.
- 13:21Speaker 8: Doctor Haygood.
- 13:23Speaker 2: You see.
- 13:24Speaker 8: You see SF's classroom guide titled Framework for Gender and
- 13:29Speaker 8: Sex Concepts and Teaching Advice us against using the term
- 13:34Speaker 8: pregnant women. Instead, it says to use pregnant people who
- 13:39Speaker 8: are pregnant people compared to pregnant women's curious.
- 13:43Speaker 5: So that is part of a curriculum to help our
- 13:46Speaker 5: students who are facing a wide diversity of patients. Of course,
- 13:51Speaker 5: the vast majority of pregnancies are in women, and I
- 13:55Speaker 5: have absolutely.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Wait, what problem with using the words?
- 13:57Speaker 2: You know?
- 13:58Speaker 5: Women use itself?
- 13:59Speaker 8: A non biological woman had a baby?
- 14:04Speaker 5: A transgender person can?
- 14:06Speaker 8: That's not a biological woman? Has a non biological woman
- 14:10Speaker 8: ever had a baby? Iterate?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Ridiculous?
- 14:14Speaker 5: We take care of transgena doctor like.
- 14:16Speaker 3: The vast majority of people become pregnant women, vast majority,
- 14:21Speaker 3: almost all of them, almost all of them.
- 14:23Speaker 2: So now that was u CSF. Let's go over to UCLA.
- 14:29Speaker 8: Can someone have a uterus but not be a woman,
- 14:32Speaker 8: because it seems like your school is promoting that ridiculous idea.
- 14:37Speaker 9: I think again, as doctor Hogood has described, we're greeting
- 14:43Speaker 9: transgender people, but we're doing that in compliance with state
- 14:48Speaker 9: and federal law.
- 14:49Speaker 8: And you just teach biology, Yes we do. I'm going
- 14:53Speaker 8: to ask you again, can someone have a uterus and
- 14:55Speaker 8: not be a woman? Just say yes or no?
- 14:59Speaker 10: Can they.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Again?
- 15:01Speaker 5: I read it?
- 15:06Speaker 2: This man, this is a learned man. This is you
- 15:09Speaker 2: have dr in front of your name. You've spent countless
- 15:12Speaker 2: hours reading books about the body and physiology and biology,
- 15:18Speaker 2: and you can't say yes, uteruses come in women. End
- 15:24Speaker 2: of sentence, full full.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Stop at least he could have done with the other
- 15:27Speaker 3: guy did the vast majority of people with women in
- 15:32Speaker 3: my experience, I just can't.
- 15:34Speaker 2: And God bless her. She's like, this is ridiculous, please stop,
- 15:37Speaker 2: and that's here's the other thing, right, and then I'll
- 15:40Speaker 2: get off my my. I hate trans soapbox, this idea
- 15:44Speaker 2: that we all had to subscribe to, the lunacy that
- 15:48Speaker 2: is transgenderism. I'm out, like, go, do you you want
- 15:53Speaker 2: to chop off your penis, split the banana, put boobs
- 15:56Speaker 2: on your chest, take your boobs off. You can do
- 15:58Speaker 2: all good for you. Do it at eighteen, live the
- 16:01Speaker 2: rest of your life on SSRIs as well as hormones
- 16:05Speaker 2: and other you know, inducing drugs to make you what
- 16:07Speaker 2: you think you are, and good luck with your life.
- 16:11Speaker 2: But not everybody around you, Like did you see the
- 16:14Speaker 2: woman who got sanctioned. She's a gynecologist and a trans
- 16:18Speaker 2: woman shows up with a dick and he's like, I
- 16:22Speaker 2: need to be examined, and she's like, I can't exam
- 16:25Speaker 2: you don't have a vagina, Like this just is this
- 16:30Speaker 2: is a real conversation.
- 16:31Speaker 3: And he went, Chick fil A doesn't serve steak and
- 16:34Speaker 3: I don't actually treat this particular.
- 16:39Speaker 6: I mean, it's insane anatomy.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I have to find that story for next week.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But I read it. I actually read it about a
- 16:44Speaker 2: month ago, and I was like, I can't even imagine.
- 16:47Speaker 2: You see this person come in. They obviously have some
- 16:49Speaker 2: masculine features you don't want to judge. You tell them
- 16:52Speaker 2: to disrobe and put on the medical gown and they,
- 16:54Speaker 2: you know, spread their legs and you're like, oh, yeah,
- 16:58Speaker 2: I can't examine that in the way you would like
- 17:01Speaker 2: me to. And good luck, sir, ma'am. Good luck person,
- 17:05Speaker 2: got nothing for you. So, speaking of what is a woman,
- 17:08Speaker 2: my favorite congressman right now, Brandon Gill had a lovely
- 17:12Speaker 2: exchange with Ayana Presley, who I despise as much as
- 17:17Speaker 2: you can despise one person, her and her husband and
- 17:20Speaker 2: their race baiting lib tardation constant I have special interest,
- 17:26Speaker 2: special funding. He just got another grant or some other
- 17:31Speaker 2: contract I think it was with the state of Massachusetts,
- 17:34Speaker 2: and he just keeps getting these amazing contracts and bids
- 17:37Speaker 2: that no one else in his entire industry is able
- 17:39Speaker 2: to get, and no one can figure out why it's impressive.
- 17:42Speaker 6: But she'd lovely He's got a network of support.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It's incredible. People love him. Yeah, not me, but other people.
- 17:50Speaker 2: So this is Brandon gil putting her on the spot.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It's priceless.
- 17:57Speaker 8: And that is why I've introduced legislation to add that
- 17:59Speaker 8: you write amendment as the twenty eighth Amendment, enshrining it
- 18:02Speaker 8: as a.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Law of this land.
- 18:03Speaker 10: I'd be happy to look at your Equal Rights Amendment
- 18:06Speaker 10: and read through it.
- 18:07Speaker 6: I guess my biggest question was does it define what
- 18:09Speaker 6: a woman as We'll take a look at it.
- 18:17Speaker 10: Was hoping for some analytical clarity, but thank you, we'll
- 18:21Speaker 10: take a look at.
- 18:22Speaker 2: I mean, I'm like, is Kaitanji around? We should ask her?
- 18:26Speaker 2: She has the best answer for this question. Let's ask her.
- 18:30Speaker 3: You know, I don't think I don't get time in
- 18:32Speaker 3: the show to hear Katanji's answer to that. Dude, it's
- 18:34Speaker 3: going to let take up the next twenty five minutes.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Did you did we talk about that where they did
- 18:39Speaker 2: that compilation of time? Oh yeah, so she talks more.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, all the other justices combined.
- 18:48Speaker 6: She got something to say.
- 18:50Speaker 8: I did not know.
- 18:51Speaker 2: I did not know that she could beat Kamala Harris.
- 18:54Speaker 2: But indeed she's making some salad. She's at it. She's like, Yep,
- 18:57Speaker 2: you're welcome. It's a real thing.
- 18:59Speaker 3: And what's funny is like the Democrats, and I know
- 19:02Speaker 3: you've got other clips to get to, but if you
- 19:03Speaker 3: wanted to go to the James o'keef thing, so like
- 19:05Speaker 3: Democrats will show up for this, right, Like Democrats will
- 19:08Speaker 3: show up to like introduce this kind of legislation to
- 19:11Speaker 3: kind of champion the sacred cows. But when it comes
- 19:15Speaker 3: down just like stuff that's like saving people money or
- 19:17Speaker 3: actually enforcing the laws, as other independent journalists have like
- 19:21Speaker 3: then stepped into the void to try to do.
- 19:23Speaker 6: Democrats can't be father about very good sad.
- 19:28Speaker 2: See, So if you're listening and you're not watching, we
- 19:33Speaker 2: just showed a hearing room on Capitol Hill where James
- 19:38Speaker 2: O'Keeffe and Nick Shirley were testifying and explaining to the
- 19:44Speaker 2: representatives that were there about the fraud that's happening across
- 19:48Speaker 2: the nation and not just Mark at nineteen twenty three, okay,
- 19:55Speaker 2: and not just you know, medicaid frauder Medicare fraud. You know,
- 19:58Speaker 2: James O'Keefe is doing some really deep dives into election integrity.
- 20:03Speaker 2: People going to skid Row getting homeless people to sign ballots.
- 20:07Speaker 2: He's traveled the whole country chasing down these ballot people
- 20:11Speaker 2: that go and just have an entire household where they're
- 20:14Speaker 2: saying one hundred people live there. Nobody lives there. It's
- 20:17Speaker 2: a condemned location, like it's insane, or they show up
- 20:20Speaker 2: and the people that live there are like, who's using
- 20:22Speaker 2: my address? Who's using it? Is crazy? And not one
- 20:26Speaker 2: Democrat came to hear not one.
- 20:29Speaker 6: That's it's part of it.
- 20:30Speaker 3: It's it's part of a much larger story, which is
- 20:32Speaker 3: I mean, it's kind of wild, and I know it's like, uh,
- 20:35Speaker 3: you know, we'll get into like this the Tim Waltz
- 20:37Speaker 3: story later, but it's the Democrats don't just like not
- 20:41Speaker 3: and it's just objectively right, like this is not like, oh,
- 20:44Speaker 3: lives are bad, but seriously, like Republicans are attempting to Hey,
- 20:47Speaker 3: we're gonna have hearings, we're gonna try to enforce the law,
- 20:50Speaker 3: and it shouldn't be a partisan thing. Is like like
- 20:53Speaker 3: fraud is a crime, right, Like we should all be
- 20:55Speaker 3: in favor of enforcing the law. But instead Democrats seem
- 20:59Speaker 3: to not just not be interested in helping enforce the
- 21:02Speaker 3: law that you saw a no Attorney general show up
- 21:04Speaker 3: when they had the Anti Fraud Task Force with you know,
- 21:07Speaker 3: Vice President Vance the other day. Like they oftentimes go
- 21:11Speaker 3: the opposite way, they like actively impede the effort to
- 21:14Speaker 3: stop these investigations. So, I mean it doesn't shock me
- 21:17Speaker 3: sadly that no Democrats showed up to this hearing with
- 21:19Speaker 3: James with Keith Nick Suley, because like, what would they say, right,
- 21:23Speaker 3: it's not good politics, I guess, to come out in
- 21:25Speaker 3: favor of anything that exposes the fraud because they oftentimes
- 21:30Speaker 3: are being practiced by their voters.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Not to mention the fact that they're not just not
- 21:37Speaker 2: showing up, they're actively stopping it. I mean they are
- 21:40Speaker 2: passing legislation with Nick Shirley's name in it that says
- 21:44Speaker 2: stop Nick Shirley. There's a four year old kid with
- 21:48Speaker 2: an Osmo camera, like.
- 21:50Speaker 6: And they know.
- 21:51Speaker 3: So that was in California, right there was like the
- 21:52Speaker 3: whole state Nick sure or they got what got dubbed
- 21:55Speaker 3: to stop Nick Surely act.
- 21:56Speaker 6: But it's actually worse than that.
- 21:57Speaker 3: We talked about this in a podcast I did with
- 22:00Speaker 3: Peter Schweitzer. But it's like the frame he just actually
- 22:03Speaker 3: got beat in a primary by one of those New
- 22:05Speaker 3: York Democrats socialist candidates. But there was legislation that was
- 22:08Speaker 3: sponsored by the first ever former illegal immigrants to be
- 22:11Speaker 3: elected to Congress, Espala, and he would have actually stopped
- 22:14Speaker 3: these federal agencies from being able to purchase the data
- 22:18Speaker 3: to be able to look and do like the analysis
- 22:20Speaker 3: to be identified the people who are committing and practicing
- 22:22Speaker 3: the fraud. So it is like it's not just at
- 22:24Speaker 3: the state level's at the federal level too.
- 22:26Speaker 6: And that's what I'm saying. It's crazy. It's crazy that
- 22:28Speaker 6: they like actively impede in the efforts.
- 22:30Speaker 2: But like Rob Bonta, who's the age out there, you
- 22:33Speaker 2: would think he'd be like, oh my gosh, this guy
- 22:35Speaker 2: is incredible. He's going to save my state millions of dollars,
- 22:38Speaker 2: And instead he's infuriated.
- 22:40Speaker 6: He's going to cost me millions of votes, is what
- 22:43Speaker 6: he's going to do.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And I'm like, wait what. But I think
- 22:46Speaker 2: it's even more sinister than that. I really do think,
- 22:49Speaker 2: because this is this is again going back to my
- 22:52Speaker 2: condo on conspiracy Lane. I don't think they need the votes, right,
- 22:55Speaker 2: They're going to get the vote six way to Sunday.
- 22:57Speaker 2: They have so many different methods by which to rig
- 23:01Speaker 2: and to steal and to navigate elections in order to
- 23:06Speaker 2: get the outcome they so desire. Hence the need for
- 23:08Speaker 2: you know, thirty seven weeks to tally the votes. It's
- 23:11Speaker 2: you know, utter nonsense. So I actually don't think it
- 23:14Speaker 2: has as much to do with the voters as it
- 23:16Speaker 2: does the money. And I think they're on the take.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I think that they've got some sort of you know,
- 23:21Speaker 2: plan worked out where it's like, look, i'll look the
- 23:23Speaker 2: other way. I'll make this work for you. I'll show
- 23:25Speaker 2: you that you get these millions of dollars. But you
- 23:27Speaker 2: know there's a big just so you know, and I'm
- 23:30Speaker 2: gonna want a little you know. That's what I think
- 23:32Speaker 2: it is, you know, all day, every day, but in
- 23:35Speaker 2: any event to that point of election integrity. Joe Rogan
- 23:39Speaker 2: had on the vice president and he's asking him, and
- 23:43Speaker 2: Joe Rogan is. The thing I like about Joe Rogan
- 23:46Speaker 2: is is he is very matter of fact. Like I
- 23:48Speaker 2: can't lock in for three hours pretty much for anything,
- 23:51Speaker 2: because I just don't have that kind of time. If
- 23:52Speaker 2: it's not work, I'm not doing three hours. But this
- 23:55Speaker 2: was a great interview. What did you think of it?
- 23:58Speaker 2: I know you're our election integer, the expert.
- 24:00Speaker 3: No, I was just laughing about you know you and
- 24:03Speaker 3: having to work for three hours at the time, Like listen,
- 24:05Speaker 3: I understand the struggle is real. It's yeah. No, I
- 24:10Speaker 3: think the JD. Vance is interesting. I think he actually,
- 24:13Speaker 3: I actually think he is authentic, even though he comes
- 24:16Speaker 3: off sometimes as not that.
- 24:18Speaker 6: I do think that.
- 24:20Speaker 3: And Joe Rogan, you know, God bless him, like for
- 24:22Speaker 3: providing a forum for people like that to be able
- 24:24Speaker 3: to just get into this stuff. And I think he doesn't.
- 24:27Speaker 3: He doesn't just do like loaded stuff, right. I do
- 24:29Speaker 3: think he's going to like ask challenging questions and you know,
- 24:32Speaker 3: kind of have like an intellectually honest debate, which just
- 24:36Speaker 3: makes like conversations like this about election integrity so refreshing.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And I do think we're evolving as a country as
- 24:42Speaker 3: in terms of our ability to have a real conversation
- 24:45Speaker 3: and so it's very important to talk about it in
- 24:47Speaker 3: the right way. And I think Jad Advance did a
- 24:48Speaker 3: good job of talking about it here.
- 24:50Speaker 2: I agree.
- 24:51Speaker 3: I think they cheat.
- 24:53Speaker 11: I think they've been done it forever, and I don't
- 24:54Speaker 11: think there's any other reason why you would have no
- 24:57Speaker 11: voter ID.
- 24:58Speaker 6: And they try to say, oh, it's racist to have
- 25:00Speaker 6: voter ID, Like, what are you talking about? Do you
- 25:03Speaker 6: think other races are incapable of going to the d
- 25:06Speaker 6: m V.
- 25:07Speaker 10: That's insane, It's that's it's actually super racist, that's really right.
- 25:12Speaker 10: The implication of their argument is literally like blacks and
- 25:15Speaker 10: Hispanics cannot go to the DMV to get an ID.
- 25:17Speaker 10: By the way, if you look at the polling, black
- 25:19Speaker 10: Americans are as pro voter ID. Even though the most
- 25:22Speaker 10: Black Americans vote Democrat, there's still pro voter ID as
- 25:25Speaker 10: much as white Americans is.
- 25:27Speaker 8: Most Americans are voterized I except for operatives.
- 25:32Speaker 2: So to that point, there's there's another class of people
- 25:35Speaker 2: that he left out there, and that's this stupid women's vote.
- 25:39Speaker 2: People like, oh my god, they want to take away
- 25:42Speaker 2: our vote because we get married and we can't change
- 25:44Speaker 2: our idea. I'm like, I'm sorry, are we in the
- 25:46Speaker 2: seventeen hundreds? Have we all just gone back as what
- 25:50Speaker 2: the hell are you talking about?
- 25:51Speaker 6: Wait, we waited for the letter to arrive via.
- 25:53Speaker 2: I mean really, I'm like, I don't I don't actually understand.
- 25:57Speaker 2: And it's it's infuriating to see you, like when I
- 26:00Speaker 2: saw Meryl Stream come out.
- 26:03Speaker 6: And and by the way, I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 26:05Speaker 2: No no, please, well.
- 26:07Speaker 3: I was just gonna say, like and by the way,
- 26:08Speaker 3: it's like the whole like Nate Bargazi's got like this
- 26:11Speaker 3: hilarious thing about like how is like Nate versus Nathan
- 26:14Speaker 3: or whatever, and like the Delta's like, I don't know
- 26:16Speaker 3: what we're gonna do about this.
- 26:17Speaker 6: It's like I think, I think, I think we can
- 26:18Speaker 6: get past this.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Like if the idea doesn't match up, they will still
- 26:21Speaker 3: let you cast a provisional ballot. Like no, one's not
- 26:23Speaker 3: casting a ballot because the name on your ID doesn't
- 26:26Speaker 3: match like the name on the voter registration. There's a
- 26:29Speaker 3: number like in fact, like in Los Angeles, they just had.
- 26:33Speaker 3: The reason why it takes them so long to count
- 26:35Speaker 3: these ballots is not just because of the late arriving uh,
- 26:38Speaker 3: like you have this extended window, but because of all
- 26:41Speaker 3: the signature verification that's required to go out and thing
- 26:43Speaker 3: called curing the ballots. So they literally go out and
- 26:46Speaker 3: track people down and make sure that the signatures will
- 26:49Speaker 3: match up. If they get flagged on the front end,
- 26:51Speaker 3: so of course there will be mechanisms for people to
- 26:54Speaker 3: get their vote to count in those instances.
- 26:57Speaker 6: It's ridiculous.
- 26:58Speaker 2: It is ridiculous, and I think it's also it's one
- 27:01Speaker 2: of those moments where I always say, like, okay, so
- 27:04Speaker 2: let me get this straight. We're flying people to Mars,
- 27:08Speaker 2: we create an AI and we have self driving cars,
- 27:13Speaker 2: but getting ID with a new name on it bridge
- 27:17Speaker 2: too far. Bro, That's where you cross the line. I'm like,
- 27:20Speaker 2: all right, not to mention the fact, and you and
- 27:22Speaker 2: I have discussed this. The Save Act bill is thirty pages,
- 27:27Speaker 2: thirty two pages. This is not a deep read. It's
- 27:32Speaker 2: you can get through it, do ten pages a day.
- 27:34Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not a Tolstoy or Charles Bon's guys.
- 27:36Speaker 2: We got not warm piece. Guys like, yeah, we can,
- 27:39Speaker 2: we can do it, you know what I mean. And
- 27:40Speaker 2: this is the stuff where I'm like, okay, it's it's
- 27:44Speaker 2: so infuriating that you'll say to somebody why do you
- 27:48Speaker 2: think that? Or where does that come from? Or have
- 27:50Speaker 2: you read and they freak out. Whenever anybody freaks out,
- 27:55Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, so what you're saying is you're unable
- 27:57Speaker 2: to have an intelligent conversation. You need to blow up
- 28:00Speaker 2: up because that's your defensive mechanism to what's actually happening here,
- 28:03Speaker 2: as opposed to saying, you know, I didn't read it.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I have no idea what it says. All right, well,
- 28:08Speaker 2: so read it and then let's talk, because I.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Think you would have to go or even just like
- 28:11Speaker 3: I had yet to invest the forty five seconds required
- 28:13Speaker 3: to think about how how appropriate or inappropriate would be
- 28:16Speaker 3: actually require someone to have an ID to vote.
- 28:19Speaker 2: No, it's and the same people that don't want the
- 28:21Speaker 2: ID for you to vote will not let you into
- 28:24Speaker 2: their event unless you have ID. So can we just
- 28:28Speaker 2: please for a minute anyways? All right, So Mike Lee,
- 28:33Speaker 2: who's been the stalwart of this thing, so we've got
- 28:36Speaker 2: just to be clear, we've got Tuberville Mike Lee. Jim Banks,
- 28:41Speaker 2: Senator Cruz says that he is behind the Save Act,
- 28:44Speaker 2: although quietly, which I find troubling.
- 28:49Speaker 3: No, I think he said recently he's like, I'm willing
- 28:51Speaker 3: to do anything it takes to pass it.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Okay, Ted, we'll see.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Okay, Well, Ted, you've been super quiet, so you know
- 28:56Speaker 2: how about that? So we've got Ted and then we've
- 28:59Speaker 2: got but you know, John Kennedy, who's alignce hack of shit.
- 29:03Speaker 2: He likes to pretend like he cares, but he does,
- 29:05Speaker 2: and he's using that Oxford educated Southern twang to make
- 29:09Speaker 2: you feel like he cares. But behind closed doors he's like,
- 29:11Speaker 2: you better not vote for that shit. All right, we'll
- 29:13Speaker 2: take your committee assignment. That's what's really going on. But
- 29:16Speaker 2: Mike Lee comes out I think it was last night
- 29:19Speaker 2: this clip is from and he's talking about the parliamentarian.
- 29:23Speaker 2: So the new angle has been this parliamentarian, which we've
- 29:27Speaker 2: talked about, was appointed by Harry Reid who is a
- 29:29Speaker 2: raging lunatic Liberal but kept through Biden and McCullough and
- 29:34Speaker 2: is buddy buddy buddy with John fun anything to add
- 29:40Speaker 2: to that, I felt like, you.
- 29:40Speaker 6: Well, well, I just did.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I think that's actually what we lose with Mitch McConnell
- 29:45Speaker 3: and Lindsey Graham is you lose people who understand like
- 29:49Speaker 3: all the urricane rules and how to actually get stuff
- 29:52Speaker 3: done or keep stuff from being done in the Senate,
- 29:55Speaker 3: and they don't think people appreciate how complex it is.
- 29:58Speaker 3: But the parliamentary it is absolutely that's the guy, right.
- 30:02Speaker 2: So and here's the problem with her. She is not
- 30:06Speaker 2: somebody who likes Trump. She is not somebody who's just
- 30:09Speaker 2: being objective, and people are saying we have to honor
- 30:13Speaker 2: what she has to say. Mike Lee had this to
- 30:15Speaker 2: say about the part, and this is Mike Lee. He's
- 30:18Speaker 2: the most respectful person. I mean, honestly, it's shocking.
- 30:24Speaker 4: In the coming days, there may be a fair amount
- 30:25Speaker 4: of conversation about budget reconciliation and about what can happen
- 30:30Speaker 4: on budget reconciliation as far as getting significant parts of
- 30:34Speaker 4: the Save America Act, or at least some of the
- 30:36Speaker 4: benefits of the Save America Act pass through budget reconciliation,
- 30:40Speaker 4: which allows us to do it fifty one votes without
- 30:42Speaker 4: a sixty vote closure vote. One of the arguments you're
- 30:47Speaker 4: going to hear over and over again is we've got
- 30:50Speaker 4: to protect the parliamentarian. The parliamentarian's rulings have to be
- 30:53Speaker 4: sacrif saying they can't be overturned. Nobody's calling for the
- 30:58Speaker 4: parliamentarian's rulings to be overturned. Why Because the parliamentarian doesn't rule.
- 31:03Speaker 4: She lacks that power. Only the presiding officer rules. The
- 31:09Speaker 4: parliamentarian merely offers advice the presiding officer whether that's the
- 31:13Speaker 4: Vice President of the United States, the President pro tem
- 31:16Speaker 4: or the acting President pro temp, meaning a senator from
- 31:19Speaker 4: the majority party who is assigned at regular intervals to
- 31:25Speaker 4: fill in in the absence of the Vice President. It's
- 31:27Speaker 4: the presiding Officer who makes the ruling. It's then up
- 31:31Speaker 4: to the Senate to either sustain or overturn that ruling.
- 31:35Speaker 4: In most contexts, it takes a simple majority vote to
- 31:38Speaker 4: overturn the ruling of the chair. In budget reconciliation, it
- 31:42Speaker 4: takes sixty votes, so the math changes. But regardless, look,
- 31:47Speaker 4: there is nothing sacred about the rule of the Senate Parliamentary.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Nobody elected the Senate parliamentarian. The Senate parliamentarian occupies no
- 31:56Speaker 4: constitutional post in our system of government. So don't believe
- 32:01Speaker 4: those who say that you've got to protect the parliamentary
- 32:04Speaker 4: and at all costs. It's not her vote that matters.
- 32:06Speaker 4: She doesn't have a vote. It's the ruling of the
- 32:09Speaker 4: presenting officer that matters.
- 32:12Speaker 2: He is, in my opinion, such a valuable asset to
- 32:17Speaker 2: the United States. He is so well read, so incredibly informed,
- 32:21Speaker 2: and actually one of the people who does understand the
- 32:24Speaker 2: arcane rules of the Senate and the legislative body that
- 32:27Speaker 2: it is.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Ironically, it's the Senate parliamentary who's been keeping miss mcconon
- 32:31Speaker 3: on the hospital too. She has yet to get him
- 32:33Speaker 3: in the green light to say now we can get
- 32:34Speaker 3: off the tubes and come back to work. No, it's
- 32:36Speaker 3: she's got a lot of power, as it turns out. No,
- 32:39Speaker 3: he's you love him.
- 32:40Speaker 6: I know that he is.
- 32:41Speaker 3: He is an ally and I think he's a true teller,
- 32:44Speaker 3: and he is unafraid to say things that other people
- 32:47Speaker 3: seem unwilling to say. And I do think that that's
- 32:50Speaker 3: his important voice in the conversation we need to be
- 32:53Speaker 3: having right.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And I will tell you I had an interview with
- 32:56Speaker 2: Clint Brown. I don't know if I told you about this,
- 32:58Speaker 2: but Clint Brown the former executive director of the Senate
- 33:02Speaker 2: Steering Commission, and he's worked with all of these people,
- 33:05Speaker 2: and I did. I did an interview with him a
- 33:07Speaker 2: couple of weeks ago, and I asked him, I'm like,
- 33:11Speaker 2: is it true that we can't do this or we
- 33:13Speaker 2: can't do that? And he went step by step through
- 33:16Speaker 2: why we could do all of the various things to
- 33:19Speaker 2: bring the Save Act forward, how we could nuke the
- 33:21Speaker 2: filibuster what we needed to do that and one of
- 33:24Speaker 2: the things that we talked about that I thought was
- 33:25Speaker 2: really interesting, and I don't know that we would ever
- 33:27Speaker 2: do it, but I feel like if we're going to
- 33:29Speaker 2: now's the time is the Vice President is allowed to
- 33:32Speaker 2: come into the Senate, rule over the Senate and call
- 33:36Speaker 2: someone other than the majority leader to open the session
- 33:40Speaker 2: right at which time they could bring the Save America
- 33:44Speaker 2: Act to the floor for a debate and a talking filibuster.
- 33:49Speaker 2: If that happened, it would be the exact same process
- 33:53Speaker 2: that happened with the nineteen sixty four Civil Rights Act
- 33:56Speaker 2: and the process of going through that when it was
- 33:59Speaker 2: debatedmocrats didn't want it, and then they had to express
- 34:04Speaker 2: why they didn't want it, and the more they talked
- 34:07Speaker 2: and the longer they went and the worse they sounded,
- 34:10Speaker 2: they started to dial that back until the point that
- 34:12Speaker 2: they were able to pass it. It would be the
- 34:14Speaker 2: same exact thing here. Then we'll get to see all
- 34:18Speaker 2: of the rhinos who aren't supporting right now the same
- 34:22Speaker 2: of America Act, because they're going to have to come
- 34:24Speaker 2: up to the Dais and make their point. Are you
- 34:26Speaker 2: against her? Are you four? Which one is it? And why?
- 34:30Speaker 10: So?
- 34:30Speaker 2: I'm thinking we're definitely going to get our votes because
- 34:34Speaker 2: none of these spineless, feckless wonders have the balls to
- 34:38Speaker 2: get up there and tell you to your face, oh sorry,
- 34:40Speaker 2: I've been stabbing in the back. But now because the
- 34:43Speaker 2: microphones here in the cameras here, I'm going to tell them,
- 34:45Speaker 2: you know, yep, gonna pass the say Aact. Suddenly we're
- 34:48Speaker 2: going to have those votes. Now, what do you think
- 34:50Speaker 2: about that?
- 34:51Speaker 3: I think it's brilliant. I guess I'm skeptical because I
- 34:54Speaker 3: feel like, look at they really wanted to do it.
- 34:56Speaker 3: I mean, the rules and the mechanisms exist, and that
- 34:59Speaker 3: so that you just laid out one pathway to do it.
- 35:01Speaker 3: I think I've said before on this show, but in
- 35:04Speaker 3: talks to some of the people I've speaking with, you
- 35:06Speaker 3: could amend the real ID Act that's already on the
- 35:08Speaker 3: books to just require you have to show a real
- 35:10Speaker 3: ID for federal elections, and that would essentially accomplish the
- 35:13Speaker 3: same thing, require an ID. So, I mean the mechanisms exist, right,
- 35:17Speaker 3: It's kind of like Donald Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship.
- 35:21Speaker 3: That may not be the right way to do it legally,
- 35:23Speaker 3: but like, there's probably ways to accomplish the same goal
- 35:26Speaker 3: when it comes to crime voter ID there's multiple pathways.
- 35:29Speaker 3: So the issue to me is less logistical and it's
- 35:31Speaker 3: more ideological.
- 35:33Speaker 6: Clearly there are.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Republicans in charge in this country who don't want to
- 35:36Speaker 3: happen for whatever reason. That is the bigger That is
- 35:39Speaker 3: the bigger issue than like we have yet to find
- 35:40Speaker 3: the practical pathway.
- 35:42Speaker 6: To make it happen.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Well, I tell you what we're going to be looking
- 35:44Speaker 2: over the next two weeks, because that's all we have
- 35:46Speaker 2: left now, because these are together, you.
- 35:48Speaker 6: Said August third, August I was taken.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Because November third is our general election, so can't wait
- 35:53Speaker 2: to see. All right, We've got a few more clips
- 35:56Speaker 2: before we end the show. One very sad clip for
- 35:59Speaker 2: the those of you remember this case. There was an
- 36:02Speaker 2: Indian national who was here illegally and he crashed into
- 36:08Speaker 2: very very slow moving traffic with an illegal CDL license
- 36:12Speaker 2: that was given him by the state not out of
- 36:14Speaker 2: the then California and killed three people on the spot.
- 36:18Speaker 2: And for those three lives that he took, he is
- 36:21Speaker 2: receiving wait for it, four years and eight months. This
- 36:26Speaker 2: is a quick recap of that incident.
- 36:30Speaker 12: Now take a look at This is exclusive dash cam
- 36:33Speaker 12: video that is now the subject of several law enforcement investigations,
- 36:37Speaker 12: shows the moment a red Semi truck plowed into a
- 36:41Speaker 12: number of vehicles on the west Dound ten Freeway in
- 36:43Speaker 12: Ontario just after one pm yesterday. The CHP told the
- 36:47Speaker 12: La Times the driver of this big rig is a
- 36:50Speaker 12: twenty one year old man who is now under arrest
- 36:53Speaker 12: on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs. A
- 36:56Speaker 12: total of four semis were involved in also four passenger vehicles,
- 37:00Speaker 12: one of them exploding in flames. Three people were killed
- 37:03Speaker 12: and four others were taken to local hospitals. This horrific
- 37:07Speaker 12: crash happened just east of the fifteenth Threeway and shut
- 37:11Speaker 12: down all westbound lanes for more than twelve hours.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Thousands of drivers.
- 37:15Speaker 12: Were tracked the gridlock just as the evening commute was
- 37:17Speaker 12: getting underway. It also happened near the Ontario Airport. To
- 37:21Speaker 12: the crash likely delay people that were trying to get
- 37:24Speaker 12: to their life.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I mean that for those of you that are listening
- 37:28Speaker 2: and not watching, when you see that truck plow into
- 37:32Speaker 2: these cars that are literally sitting still when they say
- 37:36Speaker 2: slow moving, I think that they mean like crawling, like
- 37:39Speaker 2: they're not moving and then this rig just comes from
- 37:43Speaker 2: nowhere and crashes. These people did not have a moment,
- 37:48Speaker 2: They didn't have a second to react. They were literally
- 37:51Speaker 2: dead on impact.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Yeah, if you kill somebody, let alone three people for
- 37:57Speaker 3: driving on the influence. No, And like the video just
- 38:00Speaker 3: shows you how like harbor Thicke it is. It wasn't
- 38:02Speaker 3: one of those things where I mean, unfortunately, I've had
- 38:04Speaker 3: a number of instances of the legal immigrants to other
- 38:06Speaker 3: people who have been involved in fatalities. You have to wonder,
- 38:12Speaker 3: you know, I'm reminded of in Minnesota they met they
- 38:16Speaker 3: passed the law said that you have to take the
- 38:19Speaker 3: race of the criminal into account when it comes to sentencing.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Like that's like like their post George Floyd, where like
- 38:26Speaker 3: forget about what the laws is, it's like what race
- 38:28Speaker 3: is this person and are they like overrepresented in the
- 38:31Speaker 3: legal system, et cetera.
- 38:32Speaker 6: And you kind of just have to wonder.
- 38:34Speaker 3: It's a bizarre, but it matters because like if this
- 38:37Speaker 3: person was not an illegal immigrant, would they be getting
- 38:40Speaker 3: the same sentence or were they be getting a harsher sentence?
- 38:43Speaker 3: And I would just say, I know, people, I'm aware
- 38:45Speaker 3: of cases where you have fewer fatalities but a different
- 38:49Speaker 3: race of offender who got a much harsher sentence.
- 38:53Speaker 2: Well, they actually put a side by side of this
- 38:56Speaker 2: when this news was released, because he was just sentenced
- 38:58Speaker 2: yesterday and it was so sad. They had a young
- 39:01Speaker 2: white woman who is a pro life protester, right, So
- 39:05Speaker 2: she goes to various clinics and she tries to talk
- 39:08Speaker 2: to people before they go in and just say, hey,
- 39:10Speaker 2: there's another way you don't have to kill your baby.
- 39:13Speaker 8: Right.
- 39:13Speaker 2: She's currently in prison for protesting at abortion clinics for
- 39:18Speaker 2: four years and nine months.
- 39:20Speaker 3: What they call it the Face Act violations, right, Yeah,
- 39:22Speaker 3: so that's insane.
- 39:23Speaker 2: The Face Act violation garnered her the same amount of
- 39:27Speaker 2: time as an American white woman, as an Indian national
- 39:32Speaker 2: under the influence of drugs in a nation that he's
- 39:35Speaker 2: not support. He's here illegally from Biden, taking drugs and
- 39:39Speaker 2: has now murdered three and injured four. Oh and he
- 39:42Speaker 2: shut down the road for twelve hours.
- 39:44Speaker 3: So do twelve hour I mean that's a tragedy, like
- 39:47Speaker 3: the three people have died obviously, is like a tragedy
- 39:49Speaker 3: beyond anything else.
- 39:50Speaker 6: But I cannot imagine being stuck on the road for
- 39:52Speaker 6: twelve hours.
- 39:53Speaker 2: And you're stuck, You're in a horrible accident scene.
- 39:56Speaker 6: I can't move, can't move as what if you're on.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Your way to the hospital with your pregnant wife or
- 40:01Speaker 2: somebody's having a heart attack. How many other you know
- 40:04Speaker 2: that ripple effect?
- 40:05Speaker 3: I'd also say it lines up with the other clip
- 40:07Speaker 3: we have, which is is Tim Waltz and him and
- 40:10Speaker 3: Keith Ellison and Minnesota, right, so same, Speaking of Minnesota,
- 40:14Speaker 3: they're hardening a Vietnamese or yet national who was convicted
- 40:20Speaker 3: of theorially raping a child starting in the fourth grade,
- 40:26Speaker 3: and you know Marko Rubia and the donal Trup administration
- 40:28Speaker 3: of Lens eventually deported him. But it's almost like they
- 40:32Speaker 3: took this step to pardon this guy, I think because
- 40:34Speaker 3: they're trying to keep him from being deported.
- 40:37Speaker 2: No, they one were. They literally said, oh, hey, you're
- 40:40Speaker 2: the guy who rapes ten year olds, right cool, Yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 2: we're going to pardon you and you can stay here.
- 40:45Speaker 2: And as if it could not get worse, Tim Walls
- 40:49Speaker 2: made it worse. He came out and said this after
- 40:54Speaker 2: he this national was removed by Marco Rubio and you
- 40:59Speaker 2: know President Trump, where Marco Ruby was like, I don't
- 41:02Speaker 2: actually understand why we need to keep a child rapist
- 41:05Speaker 2: in our country. He's here illegally. This is enough impetus
- 41:08Speaker 2: to kick him out. Have a nice day.
- 41:09Speaker 6: See you right? Yeah, this isn't hard. But here's his answer.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Not yeah, here's his answer.
- 41:15Speaker 6: Did that make us any safer?
- 41:18Speaker 2: Did that make the children that are left behind any
- 41:20Speaker 2: more stable?
- 41:21Speaker 8: Did it improve the idea that.
- 41:26Speaker 6: We can't all be judged by our worst day? And
- 41:28Speaker 6: I want to be very clear, these are horrific crimes.
- 41:31Speaker 6: They often are.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Our worst day.
- 41:36Speaker 6: It was a number of days, at several days.
- 41:40Speaker 3: And believe it or not, there are people who believe
- 41:42Speaker 3: deporting a child's sex offender does make the area that
- 41:45Speaker 3: he's been deported from safer. That's not necessarily controversial opinion.
- 41:50Speaker 2: But again it goes back to this conversation with these
- 41:53Speaker 2: liberals who are saying things like you can't call them
- 41:55Speaker 2: a pedophile, you have to call them minor attracted persons.
- 41:59Speaker 2: What is happening? No, No, it's just pedophile. It's you know,
- 42:03Speaker 2: if I see you and you're like I can't even imagine.
- 42:06Speaker 6: No, wait, I know this one. No, that's a pedophile.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Yeah, ding ding ding. So now, in the complete antithesis
- 42:14Speaker 2: to this, we have the Polish president, who I kind
- 42:17Speaker 2: of love, and he's a real hardline conservative, and someone
- 42:21Speaker 2: is asking him about people that would come into Poland illegally,
- 42:25Speaker 2: and he's at this event where he's celebrating and promoting
- 42:29Speaker 2: the remigration effort for all of Europe, and this is
- 42:33Speaker 2: the question he's asked. In his answer, it's pretty great.
- 42:37Speaker 11: So it's sometimes Ki, you're here, Parsi, savior of Act
- 42:41Speaker 11: for remigration.
- 42:42Speaker 6: Why do you support formigration though?
- 42:43Speaker 11: Because I want my future daughter to be alive, not
- 42:46Speaker 11: ray and Kal is that it out is a good
- 42:49Speaker 11: reason important.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Put In is quite a protected country from immigration.
- 42:53Speaker 11: I mean quiet, it's zero. We don't have illegal migrants.
- 42:57Speaker 11: It's not quite protective. We did not let them in
- 43:00Speaker 11: and zero zero.
- 43:02Speaker 6: It's because you're afraid of what you're.
- 43:03Speaker 2: We're not afraid.
- 43:04Speaker 6: We're smart, we are brave men.
- 43:06Speaker 8: Look at me.
- 43:07Speaker 11: I'm not afraid of anything. We are brave, we are strong,
- 43:10Speaker 11: we are not political correct, we don't give a shit.
- 43:13Speaker 11: We take care of our families.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Some parliamentaries of the European Parliament.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Are afraid of to like support the immigration. No, they
- 43:21Speaker 6: are greedy. They are looking for cheap labor.
- 43:23Speaker 11: That's what happened when Al America started this madness. This
- 43:26Speaker 11: is why they paid the price now because of the greed.
- 43:30Speaker 6: They are greedy.
- 43:31Speaker 11: They don't care about future generations. They're thinking about themselves,
- 43:35Speaker 11: about today. It doesn't matter what's gonna happen in ten,
- 43:37Speaker 11: twenty or thirty years. They don't care.
- 43:39Speaker 10: We do.
- 43:40Speaker 11: That is the main difference. Their civilization and our civilization
- 43:44Speaker 11: is completely different. We are thinking about future generations. Can
- 43:47Speaker 11: you see the difference. We are patrios. They are headonists.
- 43:51Speaker 11: That's the difference.
- 43:52Speaker 8: Thank you very much.
- 43:53Speaker 6: Cheer Cheer.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Kitchen. I clip of the day. Like that guy is
- 44:01Speaker 2: such a baller. I love him. He when he said
- 44:05Speaker 2: he goes because I don't want him to rape my
- 44:07Speaker 2: future daughter. How about that? Is that good enough for you?
- 44:09Speaker 3: And by the way, like shades of what Donald Trump
- 44:12Speaker 3: said in twenty fifteen when he comes down the Golden
- 44:14Speaker 3: escalator and he said, you know, they're not sending their
- 44:17Speaker 3: best people.
- 44:17Speaker 6: They're sending rapists. They're sending these people.
- 44:19Speaker 3: I mean literally that, and then the media in America
- 44:22Speaker 3: goes crazy about it, and that's like what launched the
- 44:24Speaker 3: next decade of Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 44:26Speaker 6: So that for that guy for giving zero fs.
- 44:30Speaker 2: Yeah no, not only giving zero f's but speaking our
- 44:33Speaker 2: language and our curse words, well done. I appreciate it.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I recognize you, sir, and thank you very much. So
- 44:39Speaker 2: all right, well, I was on the Save Act. Next
- 44:41Speaker 2: week when we do our show, we'll have one week
- 44:43Speaker 2: left for these idiots to screw it up. I can't
- 44:45Speaker 2: wait to see what President Trump does tonight in the speech.
- 44:49Speaker 2: I think I hear it's like mind blowing what's about
- 44:54Speaker 2: to happen and what he's going to release.
- 44:57Speaker 6: I may or may not have had a little bit
- 44:59Speaker 6: of a.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I'm marginally aware of some stuff, so I think, yeah, yeah,
- 45:04Speaker 3: stay tuned.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Is it like, where is it on the scale of
- 45:08Speaker 2: oh shit?
- 45:09Speaker 3: I think it's a I think it's to your point.
- 45:11Speaker 3: I think it's more like, hey, here's some data and
- 45:13Speaker 3: we're going to use to justify what we think, like
- 45:16Speaker 3: how we can get there without you know, kind of
- 45:19Speaker 3: having to come up with the filipbuster and that kind
- 45:21Speaker 3: of stuff. Right, So I think it's more like things
- 45:24Speaker 3: are much worse than you believe, and because they're much
- 45:27Speaker 3: worse than they're going to qualify in a certain category,
- 45:30Speaker 3: which allows us to do certain things.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Fantastic. Okay, On that note, ladies and gentlemen, you heard
- 45:35Speaker 2: it first from our expert elitist, Eric Eggers, currently vacationing
- 45:39Speaker 2: like a proper euro We will see him next week,
- 45:42Speaker 2: hopefully back in his home studio. I am Lynna McLaughlin.
- 45:45Speaker 2: He is Eric Eggers at Eric Underscore, Eggers at Lindamick
- 45:49Speaker 2: at Roague Recap recap dot com. This is soundbites and
- 45:52Speaker 2: we'll see you next week
