- Michelle: Welcome back to another episode of Reality Hits Matt. I'm your host, Michelle. And I'm Matt. Today we'll be covering season three, episode one of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Moving on to season three. We finally made it. Wow. For anybody that's new here, if you haven't heard us before, Michelle is a big fan of reality TV. She watches a lot of it. I don't watch any of it. And then she tells me about it on this podcast and I react. So that's the premise here. If you're new. I don't watch any of this shit. No, he does not. But every week he does a little recap. This week we don't have a recap because we did the season two recap with my friend Dan. if you didn't listen to that, go back and take a listen. It was a good time. Yeah, check it out. All right. So anything we jump into the episode? Now I'm just trying to in my mind, remember the past two seasons. I think it'll come back to me once you start telling me about it. So it does start with a montage of season two, The Jenna drama that started it all off with Taylor and Dakota. OK. Miranda coming into the group. Right. The Halloween party with Chase drama. Yeah. Jen and Zach. marriage issues. Micaela and Macy having drama with Whitney. Right. CMA drama. ⁓ Taylor's Hole. Yeah. Yeah. Post. Yeah. Nobody liked it. The comment on it. mean, yeah, exactly. No, the girls commented on it. ⁓ The drama with Taylor and a bunch of the other girls. Right. ⁓ Whitney back to mom talk and being voted in. Marciano's affair with Jesse and Demi's fallout with all the other girls. Yeah. So that's overall a quick recap. A very quick recap of season two. All right. The new intro plays and it's fire surrounding all of the girls and then it kind of turns into clouds. So it feels like they're playing the Saints versus Sinners. OK, right. Yeah, they're all kind of either dressed and I believe black and then like white. ⁓ OK. So kind of goes between all of the fire and clouds and all that. This episode is called The Book of Doubt. Book of Doubt. I was wondering if they're going to keep the book names going. ⁓ they keep going. I was going to ask if you didn't tell me. No, no, I just wanted to get through the new stuff of season three. All right. Well, let's hear it. We started Taylor's house and she's feeding ever. Taylor says a lot has happened in the last year and she really just needs to take a step back and focus on her mental health. She decided to go to a therapy retreat for the next two weeks. So Dakota is going to come over and pick up ever ⁓ and they're going to go to church together. Okay. Taylor, but Dakota and ever. Okay. ⁓ Taylor says that there are a couple of mom talk events that are happening while she's gone. So the girls will hopefully be able to survive of weeks without her. But all the girls have been very supportive of her decision to go and ⁓ take of herself. ⁓ We to a Minky Couture influencer event. ⁓ All I know about this event is that Macy was trying her damnedest to get a free couture So they had like, so every time the DJ stopped playing, he would shout out a number and then you had to go run to the spot in the room that had like, or no, the DJ would stop playing and say like, go to a number. And then, so everyone would like pick a number like in the room. Oh, okay. go stand next to that number and then he would like pick a number out of a hat. And if you're standing at that number, you got a bag. Okay. All right. And so Macy and Michaela like all night, they're like in the middle of chatting and then they just like start running. start running. And they're like, oh, gotta go. And Macy says that if there's anything people need to know about her is how competitive she is. Okay. She does end up getting a bag. Oh, good for her. Wow. Yeah, she was really excited about that. They show Macy in an interview chair and she says it's harder to do these interviews as she gets bigger because she's really pregnant at this point. And she says she can barely breathe. She's a little over 20 weeks pregnant at this point. Michaela says that she feels like mom talk is at the absolute lowest right now. She says Taylor and Jen are on a mental health break. And so as she's saying this, they're showing a photo with all of the girls on it. Yeah. And then so they just like make Taylor and Jen like black and white. OK. So they're like, they'll be right back. And then. She announces that Whitney. left mom talk again after season two. OK. And so the photo fades to black. guess during contract negotiations, States that Whitney wanted tickets to the Oscars and a role in another scripted reality TV show in order for her to come back to the show. OK, guess she aimed a little high and they didn't take her out. I guess so. Macy says no one's heard from Whitney in two weeks, so she guesses she's out. Like they didn't really hear from her. OK. So it's not like Whitney reached out, apparently, and said, hey, I'm not coming back because I didn't get what I wanted. She kind of just like ghosted everyone. Right. OK. From the sounds of this. OK. And Michaela says all of her prayers have been answered. Oh my gosh. At this event, Taylor's mom Leanne is there and Demi's relatives walk in. So this is like hodgepodge people. ⁓ Micaela she hasn't heard from Demi since she asked the girls to choose between her and Taylor. And she says she thought Demi would have come back and made up with the girls. But during negotiations, I guess she asked to be paid three times more than the other girls. And when she didn't get that, she officially left mom talk. Okay. And I guess her and Whitney had hanging out and creating content together. Interesting. Okay. ⁓ I mean, you did know that they friends when Demi left, like they were getting close. Yeah. Whitney didn't say anything because she was like Demi is a big girl. She can figure it out on her own. And then during the season two reunion, we did talk about how Whitney kind of. I guess forgot or had amnesia about what Demita to Jesse, because she was like, well, what did she do? Yeah. So like we knew that they were friends, but so I'm not surprised that they are creating content together. but Kayla's upset with the content they're creating because it's about mom talk. OK, what about you creating content about Whitney? Right, right. Stop being a hypocrite. Layla shows up to the event and she says she's sick to her stomach because of the news about Jesse and Marciano. ⁓ OK. And so she hasn't told anyone at this point and she hasn't even confronted Jesse about what she knows. OK. She's thinking that she has to tell Jesse tonight because it's going to come out soon about her affair with Marciano. Marciano's claims that they had an affair together. Okay. Didn't talk about this on the season two recap or was that just Demi? Like not recap, but the reunion. The reunion did talk about it because at that point at the recap, they had already started filming season three. ⁓ so they they started filming season three and then then they filmed the reunion. Yeah. For season two. Yes. Okay. So they just needed a cutoff point somewhere, I guess. I just never stopped. I they rolled in from season two. Like they only had a couple of months off and they rolled right into season three filming. And then they decided we're going to do reunion because of how big it is. OK, so we're like pre reunion right now at this point. the reunion hasn't happened. OK, all right. Sorry, I was a little confused there. Go on. It is confusing. But yeah, they had already started filming. so Layla's thinking that she has to tell Jesse tonight about what she heard, like what Marciano said. Miranda shows up and says, even though she's not in mom talk, the influencer world Utah is very small. So she always finds herself at a lot of some of these events. Right. She said she's still friends with Demi and Whitney, but ever since they left the group, the group does seem calmer and she's starting to think that maybe this is a good place to be. Okay. Layla calls Jessie and tells her that she's going to come out to her car for a second before Jessie comes into the event. So Jessie is the last to show up. So it was like, hey, where are you? She's like, I just pulled in the parking lot. She's like, actually, let me come out to your car so we can talk. Layla confronts Jessie about what Marciano says in the car. And Jessie in an interview says she's so confused and overwhelmed right now because she's been hiding a secret of her affair for a while. Oh, OK. She says it's time for her to own what she did and tell the truth. And she says it's the worst mistake of her life. OK. However, she is not putting two and two together right now that Marciano said that they slept together. So Jesse is referring to the fact that she kissed Marciano and made out with him. OK. But she's adamant that they never had sex like adamant. Right. Right. Which I was like, OK, She seems pretty like honest, like in like forthcoming. So right. Maybe that's the truth. But like, yeah, she's like dead on. Like I did not do that. OK. Jesse does say that her and Jordan have been through a really hard time. And back in December, they did separate, which no one knew about. And that's when she went to L.A. and made out with Marciano. She says this doesn't excuse like the separation does not excuse like what she did. She shouldn't have done it. Yeah. And she says that. She didn't go into hanging out with Marciano thinking that would happen, but they were drinking and she kissed him twice. OK. ⁓ And then she had an emotional affair with him. So I think there was like some texting back and forth and some flirting. ⁓ And I think it was like to fill probably a gap that she was missing from Jordan. Right. Right. She said at that point she was just looking for validation, Jesse says that Jordan does know about the affair and he's known for six months, but they have been keeping it really on the down low because they wanted to handle it privately. Right, okay. She said as soon as she told Jordan, she cut it off immediately and she hasn't talked to Marciano since. And Jesse does say she's not sure why Marciano is now coming out with all of this, but because originally he told Jesse he wouldn't go public with any of it. ⁓ okay, interesting. Layla then says, well, he says you guys had sex ⁓ and catches Jesse off guard. And Jesse says, absolutely not. We did not have sex. And Layla says she doesn't know who to believe at this point. Layla asked Jesse if she'd be willing to talk to Marciano on the phone. So they decide to call him like right then and there. OK, Layla, she's like, well, let's call him. So she like picks up the phone. At first, Marciano's on speaker and he doesn't know that Jesse's in the car. ⁓ So it's just Layla and Marciano and then at some point Jesse does step into this conversation. Okay. So Marciano says he told Layla, Jesse would deny it because Layla's like, hey, she's saying you didn't have sex. He's like, I told you she would do that. And that's her prerogative. And like, I can't change that. At that point, that's when Jesse takes the phone. Once Jesse says, but you know this didn't happen. so he starts backing off a little bit and then he says, well, all I remember is that I took a ⁓ CELIA's, which guess is a ⁓ Cialis, Yeah, Cialis. ⁓ Sorry. know the stuff. ⁓ He says, I remember taking a Seattleist, so I just assumed we did it. And he also claims that he woke up with cum stains in his shorts. So he just like put that together and said like, ⁓ we had sex. Jesse goes, well, that didn't happen. And you know that and Marciano just says, okay. And that call ends. Okay. And Jesse's like. Haven't you ever gotten excited and like just like something happened in your shorts, but you didn't have sex like you don't have to have sex for that to happen. Meanwhile, Macy and Michaela are inside wondering where Jesse and Layla are, and they try calling them. And it's really funny because they're so like distracted by that game. So they're like trying to call and then like it's going to voicemail and they're just like running around and like the voicemail is playing and they're like, where are they? And they're like trying to get this designer back. They cut back to Jessie's in the car and she's saying that's not what happened. I don't know how I need to prove this, but I'll prove it. And Jessie tells Layla that she's going to go so she can talk with Jordan about what's happening. Because at this point, she knows that Marciano was on camera for season two. ⁓ right. Saying we had sex. It's about to like it's about to air. Yeah. Yeah. So she's like, I need to go do damage control because like I to tell Jordan because we weren't telling anyone about. So now this is about to like our families are gonna find out our friends are gonna find out like you know every like our kids like me like you know God forbid someone says something to our kids like you know this like it has a whole family in right So she leaves and gets in the car to call Jordan, okay? So Jessie tells Layla she's gonna go and she thanks Layla for telling her and tells her that she's gonna tell the girls herself. So Layla in an interview says, you know, out of respect for Jessie, I'm not gonna tell the girls. I'll let her tell them in real time. Yeah. If I see that she's not telling them, because like, obviously this is about to drop and like... it's gonna be another thing for mom talk to like work through. She's like, then like, I'll have to have a conversation and be like, I need to tell them that it's happening. But she's like, I'm just gonna let Jesse handle it. Jesse then calls Jordan to tell him about what Marciano said and that it's all coming out. She's like, Marciano told Leila everything and it's all about to come out. Jordan then asks if there's cameras and if she's like still like on camera and she says, yes. And he goes, if you bring the cameras home with you, we're done. Like you're done the show. We're done with the show. Like I can't do this. Like, get the cameras off, but little does he know, like the mic is still on. like The car is driving away, so they took the cameras out, but like they can still hear her. Jesse said she cried herself to sleep last night. So like it goes to the next day. And Jesse said she cried herself to sleep last night and. Then she has to wake up and be a mom and not let her kids know what's going on. So it's just been like a really rough morning. Right. She said her and Jordan went to talk it out last night and they did agree to share the story to get through the best they can. So he is willing to like go on camera and talk about it. tells Jessie that he feels broken and Jessie apologizes. So then she goes upstairs and he's like sitting in bed upset and she comes in and like kneels on the bed. Like she had just dropped her kids off at school and then came home to talk to him. ⁓ So Jordan tells Jesse that he feels broken and Jesse apologizes for doing that to him. Jordan says that he's questioning things and there's parts of him that want to wipe his hands of this because he doesn't know if he can live with the disrespect and the feeling of being emasculated by Jesse. He uses the word emasculated a lot. Yeah. For someone who has been cheated on. And I get the definition of being emasculated. I understand that, but I just think it's a very interesting choice of words to say, you know, like I'm emasculated because of this. Not like I'm heartbroken. I'm devastated. I'm crushed. I, you know, I, I'm confused. There's so many other words repeatedly throughout this episode, he'll use the word emasculated. Okay. And it just goes back to like him wanting to be the man in control. Right. And it's like, I don't know. It was off putting for me. Like you're so focused on your manhood at this point and not about your relationship. That's what it that's what it meant to me. Like you're so focused about being a man and not like what just happened in your relationship. Right. Right. Should we add it to the list of words? Accountability, sisterhood? I think we should. I think we should. It's like Jordan's word like I'm the man. Like I don't want to be emasculated. ⁓ right. Jesse says she has been honest. And if there are more to the story, she would have told him. And Jordan says that he needs to question if she's the type of person he wants to be with. OK, which then gave me Zach vibes about that. Like your morals are fucked up. We go to Jay-Z Styles and Macy and Makayla are getting their hair done and they were supposed to meet Jessie there and they haven't heard from her and they're concerned because that's not typical for her. Like she's always on her phone, like always texting. Layla shows up and in an interview she says she's still getting over what happened with Jessie but she's not gonna tell the girls about Jessie because that's her story to tell. Layla says that she invited Macy, Makayla, Miranda and Jessie to her birthday party. but she also invited Kate, so Chase may be there as well. Let's keep this in mind that Layla said, invited Kate, so Chase might be coming. Michaela says that she won't stay if he's there and Macy thinks that Layla is being duped by Chase, just like Demi and Whitney duped her. And in my head, I'm like, yep, Miranda, who's... his ex-wife is okay with it. Yeah, that's odd. And so apparently we'll get into this a little bit more, but over the hiatus or maybe over season two, Chase has been doing a lot of shitty things online. Okay. So we'll jump into that later. Layla says that Miranda and Kate had both reassured her that Chase has been working on himself and he is also And she goes, and he also has a really cute brother and I really want to get to know him. well, Layla might be giving him a second chance. She also has ulterior motives to this. We go to Jesse's house and Dakota comes over to talk to Jordan. So Jordan had invited Dakota over and Jordan says, like, I'm going to tell Dakota about the Marciano situation, which. Earlier, Jesse in an interview kind of alluded to like, maybe with this coming out, Jordan can like have conversations with family and friends and like have people to lean on through this and he's not working through it alone. So maybe there is a silver lining in this, but now it just feels like Jordan's on like a tell everyone page. don't know. It's different. I guess like with your personal life looming in like the shadows of like about to be released to the public is a different. But my first thought wouldn't be like, let me schedule out appointments with everyone to like start telling them, you know. So Dakota comes over ⁓ and was surprised that Jordan kept it from him for so long. And he says that he can't judge Jesse because he's obviously done some fucked up things. Right. but he feels for both of them and he hopes that they can get through it. Jordan says that he's worried about telling his oldest daughter super emasculating. In my head, why do you have to tell your daughter that your wife cheated on you? How old is the daughter? Not that old. Oh, OK. I don't think like I saw a photo of her even like now, which is a couple of years later and like, I still wouldn't tell her. Yeah. Like she's not on like not online. No. And also like when if she found out when you explain it away, like mommy's on reality TV and like, know, like not not like wish it away, but like, be like, it's maybe it's a little bit more embellished than what it was. Like we worked through it or we're working through it. Like you don't have to go be like. So your mom cheated on me and it's super emasculating to me and this is all about me and I'm telling you, like this guy's nuts. Dakota tells Jordan that at the end of the day, it's between him and Jesse and to not listen to the outside world. So he said, if I can give you one piece of advice, just don't listen to the haters. People are going to tell you what they think. They don't know the full story. It's between you and her. Let you guys deal with it. Even on a friend level, don't like let all the drama with everyone else just focus on you two, which I thought was pretty sound advice. Yeah, no, that's that makes sense. And then Jordan asked Dakota what got him through the toughest time and he said, honestly, praying. got him through a lot. And so I think maybe that's why he's going back to church. So he said, he's like, it's not for everyone, but I pray like all the time. Okay. We go to Arizona and Zach has picked up Jen from therapy. So they're in Arizona for Zach's medical school. So after season two ended with all of her mental health issues, they did decide to move back to Arizona and they're gonna give it a couple of months because Zach has five to six months to decide if he does want to go back to medical school or And Jen's pregnant? Yes. Okay. They are using this time to work through their marriage and focus on the pregnancy and go to therapy. Zach asked Jen how she's feeling about the girls and if she wants to go back into mom talk. And Jen tells him that she's feeling hopeful. Zach hopes that they can all be there for one another at this point. And Jen says she's going to have a lot of tough conversations with the girls in the next few weeks because they're driving back to Utah. And then they'll be deciding if they're going to have the baby in Utah or in Arizona. okay. Zach does not seem thrilled about her decision to be open to go back to MomTalk. ⁓ right. Okay. Then they go to Sonic and they're ordering and Zach's like super, he's just socially awkward. And so they're ordering and then Jen goes, ⁓ can you get ranch? Like a side of ranch? And then so he goes, ⁓ and can I get a ranch? My wife is pregnant, so the cravings are kicking in. And like, Jen's like, for ranch? Like, can't fucking get ranch without being like a weird pregnant lady. I mean, would she order like if she ordered like something with like fries and stuff? Yeah, but like if she just if they were just ordering like milkshakes and I'd be like, OK, that's fucking weird. It was something normal. OK, all right. I don't know what it was, but it was like. something that probably had fries or like maybe like even like even like a corn dog. Like I'd be like, OK, I'm sure that whatever. No, she wasn't like putting it in a milkshake. Yeah, just you never know. Yeah, that is awkward. Then that would be I don't think she would have made a face. But her face is like, OK. Jen, in an interview, says that she's hoping to me and Jesse can apologize to her. But she's stressed because the last time she talked to Jesse, she mentioned something about Jordan having a small wiener. Well, I think they do. Do I think that they owe her an apology? I do. For the Chippendale stuff, I do think that there needs to be a come to Jesus about that. However, I don't think that Jen's actions are totally in the right. So for her to like demand an apology from them. I'm hoping she can also own her own shit, because she also wasn't the best friend she could have been at the time. Yeah, I'm just still kind of mixed up on the whole Jen and Zach thing with like him talking to the girls and then her and him having different stories. Like, it's still like, don't know. I think that's why I'm so confused. I just know that when she went to talk to Jesse about everything, cause she decided I'm just going to talk to Jesse first cause to me it can be like a lot. Yeah. Jessie did have an open to me, like an open, like, you know, like, let's talk it out. Like she had and Jen immediately went into attack mode. Right. Right. Like calling out her on her character, calling her out on like this and like and that's when Jessie's like, OK, let's go character. Like you lie all the fucking time. Right. Right. And so I don't think like Jen handled that well. Like it could have been handled a lot better. Yeah, just like your communication with your husband could have been a lot better. All of this could have been avoided if you knew how to communicate with people. But write. Right. Yeah. So like they told you about the Chippendales, but then you didn't really know what was going to happen. So you didn't tell Zach. And then it came out. It's all like because she didn't communicate with people. Everyone else is confused and it's everyone else's problem. But yeah, it's like a lot of deflection. Like, don't know. So I'm like, you got some shit to own up to. We go to Jessie's house and Micaela and Macy go over. tells them about her marriage and how she's been struggling for years. ⁓ starts crying. She said she didn't know what to do. ⁓ it got back to Jordan, about everything that happened. ⁓ And they separated September. And then that's when she mentioned cheating on Marciano. OK. ⁓ The girls are shock. Macy can't believe what's going on, she says her brain can't process. Michaela says she's never even seen Jesse cry or break down. So she's just trying to be a good friend for her at the moment. But she is speechless. OK. And Jesse says something like, I, know, if you don't want to be my friend anymore, I understand. OK. And the girls are like, no, like, still going to be your friend. You know, we'll hold you accountable for what you did. We're not going to tell you it's right. Right. But we can still be here for you. Like if you're willing to like admit that what you did was wrong, we can work through this. We'll figure it out. Jesse is telling the girls how now he's saying that they had sex together and she says that he passed out on her bed after they did kiss once or twice and he was on drugs. OK, he's claiming that since there are stains in his underwear, he just assumed. And then Jesse says she will not sit back and let him spin that narrative. OK. So it went from like, hey, I cheated on my husband. I kissed him a couple of times. And then they're like, no, we're going to be your friends. We're fine. She was OK, good, because now he's saying that we had sex, but like that didn't happen. Right. And so now they're like, whoa, holy shit, like what is going on? Macy and Nikila leave Jesse's house and they are so confused. Macy says she did hear a rumor that Jesse had cheated in a past relationship. So part of her questions, if this is the whole truth or not. ⁓ OK. Michaela says that she was with Jesse the whole time and Villa and nothing seemed to spark between like Marciano and Jesse, which we kind of talked about a little bit. Kind of alluded that when we went through the Vanderpump Villa. Yeah, like. they didn't really interact at all. She does say that she did leave to get a pretzel or a Diet Coke. Michaela says Jordan can be a dick, but she had no inkling that something was wrong with their marriage. OK. girls are both worried about what this new scandal is going to do to talk. Right. ⁓ They say that they need trust in the group more than ever. And in order to Jesse, they need to know she's telling the truth. ⁓ Michaela says it's making her want to check in on her own relationship because this is safest she's ever felt in a relationship. Weird thing to say to me, I think it was because Macy said like, I'm glad I have like a good marriage. Yeah. And then Nikila says, you know, I feel like I should do like a health check on my relationship. OK. Keep that in mind. it's interesting thing to say. All right. So we go to Salt Lake City and it's Layla's birthday dinner. All the girls from MomTalk. So this is five of them that are active right now. OK. Two on mental health. Two gone, five left. ⁓ It's Miranda, Macy, Layla, Michaela, and Jessie. The girls are having dinner at one restaurant and across the street, their significant others are having drinks and appetizers at another restaurant. Then they're all gonna meet up together for Layla's big party with a bunch of other people later. Macy says that they are going here to celebrate Layla, but there is more mom talk business that needs to be conducted because right after she left Jesse's house, Demi texted her and Michaela so like dot dot dot. Can we talk about it now that you know with like eye emojis? So right after she was saying she was in the car, she just got home from finding out that this rumor was going on about Jesse and Marciano having an affair. Right. Demi texts and says, so can we talk about it? Because now I let you know. Jesse told the girls that right after they left, Jordan caught Brett driving by their house and they show the security cam footage of Brett's car going by. OK. No, that was while they were at her house. OK. So while they were at Jesse's house and they were finding out Brett drives by their house. OK. So they're like freaked out. Like they're like, there's a mole in this group somewhere because no one like to me didn't know we were going over there. Right. They didn't know what we were talking about. Like, how would they know that that's what we're talking about? Right. So who's the mole in this group? There's only five of them sitting at this table. Right. Well, I mean, did Jordan tell Brett? That's what I think. Yeah, that's what I think. He's telling everybody. That's what I think. But they're like, they're looking at Layla and Miranda. Miranda doesn't know what the fuck is going on. She doesn't even know what the story is. Like she's sitting there eating and she's like, her face is like, and in an interview she's like, I don't even know like what they're talking about. I'm so confused right now. And then after so right after the security camera and after to me texted to me I guess started making offensive videos about mom talk. They didn't show them Maybe they showed one but like I wasn't really sure what that was all about. Okay All the girls are very confused about how Brett knew to drive by at that time. Layla is suspiciously quiet throughout all this and Makayla starts questioning Layla. Layla says, you can look through my phone logs if you want. I didn't tell her anything and Layla's like, it's my Like, I don't even know why I'm in the hot seat right now. Right, right. Layla says, if I wanted to spread things around, I would have told Miranda about what's happening. And the other girls turn to Miranda like, ⁓ so you don't know what's happening? Miranda's like, no, I don't. ⁓ And then she looks at Jesse she goes, but you don't have to tell me anything that you're not comfortable with telling me. Like I'm, I'm good with not knowing. Right. And Michaela makes like a weird face like, why would you say that? But it's like, no, like she doesn't need to know the drama. Yeah, I mean, sounds like it's her business. Somebody spilled spilled it. Right. I mean, she'll hear it eventually. But yeah, you don't get it. I don't want to be blamed for telling someone the shit. Right. Miranda tells Jesse that she does not have to say anything if she's not comfortable. And Jesse then just like catches her up on what's going on. And in an interview, Miranda's like, damn, I was not expecting that. does think Jesse is one of the most honest people she's met, based on her, like, but based on her trust issues, she's having some doubts that maybe Jesse's lying. Okay. It goes to the dad talk side where Jordan is talking with Jason Jacob. So Jace. is married to Michaela. OK, Jacob is married to Macy and then Jordan's there. Yeah. OK. It's only the three of them. Jason, Jacob are trying to sympathize with him on the situation, and he tells them that it's emasculating as hell. It's just really fucking focused on that. Yeah. And James faces like. ⁓ Jacob asks if he 100 % trusts Jesse's story and he says, I have doubts. Jordan says, if there's anything in your relationship that needs to be worked on, work on it now. And Jay seems like he has some thoughts. Oh, okay. So it's going both ways there that Mikaela and Jay's marriage might not be in the best place it could be. Right. The girls leave dinner to join the guys and they walk over and at the place in comes Taylor's parents to Laila's birthday party. OK, I guess they were in town for another influencer event, so they stopped in. And at that point, like. Are they, is she an influencer? Like I'm confused why she keeps getting invited to influencer events. Like her daughter's an influencer. Yeah, but like she's trying to be though. I guess so. mean, she. get a lot of work done? Was like trying to look. Yeah. Yeah. so they're there, but everything seems fine. They're hanging out with the girls are kind of like in the background. They're not on TV. Mason, who is Chase's brother, shows up. Okay. Chase and Kate show up and none of the girls are happy about this. Right. so apparently this is what's going on and why the girls are so upset. Chase has a podcast where he likes to talk shit about everyone in Mom Talk. ⁓ he is insulted. That's kind of what we do. No, but like this is like, know them. I know, I'm just kidding. He's talked shit about Jessie and her business. Yeah. I mean, he's talked shit about Taylor and her affair. He said, I just talked shit about reality TV no matter what it is. So yeah. Yeah, exactly. Then he said Macy only has a social media platform because her baby daddy died. And even the guys on the podcast were like, I'm not touching that. Yeah. That's the brakes. And Jessie says she's worried about Chase finding out about everything and exposing it on his podcast for clicks. Oh, OK. So all the girls are just like really like we can't be ourselves around him. yeah, comfortable because, you know, he's just going to take it and like go on his little podcast and like get views from it. And this is like known at this point. Yeah. So why is he there? because Layla wants to bang his brother. She's also, she's also, I guess, best friends with his girlfriend, Kate. Yeah. And they were friends before they started dating. OK, but still, it's just so shitty. It is. is. So Jessie is worried about him finding out. She says, not only that, but if he heard about the lie, he would take that and run with it and make it a bigger deal than it needs to be. ⁓ Leila gets up and gives Chase a big hug, and the girls are so confused. Leila says Chase called her to apologize about the things he said about mom talk. And then I was like, cool, but say that to the other girls, Did you say it to anybody else? Yeah. Leila? Yeah. OK. All right. And then he sits down next to Jordan. He's like, can we talk? And Jordan's like, not right now. Like this, this, this isn't the place to have this conversation. Kate or no, sorry. Kate goes over to Jordan when the other girls go to the bathroom. like Macy and Nikaila get up and they go to the bathroom. They're like pissed off. I think also maybe Jesse goes over to them with the bathroom and then like Layla is talking to people. Kate goes over to Jordan when the girls go to the bathroom and Kate tells Jordan that Chase wants to apologize. And Jordan says that they won't be having that conversation because they have bigger things, like other things going on. it's like Jordan didn't even need say that. He could have just been like. Yeah. And he's like, we have other things I'm dealing with. So like, I'm not having that conversation. And then he asked, like, is everything OK? And he goes, we'll talk later. OK. Who's the biggest now? Like, it's it's all coming from Jordan. Like, he's the problem. Well, he's so emasculated. Should go on that podcast and really get his manhood back. Maybe I'll make you feel better. When the girls come back, Leila goes over to the girls and Macy tells Leila that she's pissed, chases there. Leila says that he called her earlier and Macy says, so who gives a fuck? apparently Leila told the girls he wasn't coming. Um, so even though he had, she had told him before, like he was invited, she had told him that he wasn't coming. And then Layla says, well, then he called me right before this and Macy says, okay, well then why didn't you tell us at dinner that he was coming like before we got here? Yeah. Give her, give him the heads up. And she goes, I didn't think it was going to be a big deal. It's my birthday. And so they're pissed and Macy gets up and leaves. like, Michaela follows her, but Michaela's like, I guess I'm waiting. I don't know if she drove Jessie or she has to bring Jessie. I don't know, but like, Mikaela follows Macy, says bye to her, and then goes back into the party. Macy thinks that Chase is just chasing mom talk for the clout. Right. And so that he can get the views. And it's disrespectful that Layla would allow him to come. Yeah, definitely. At that point, Jesse gets up to go talk to Layla to explain why everyone was upset and was like, well, you know, he did this and this and it's just uncomfortable. Michaela comes back in and says, I guess I'm staying until Jesse leaves. And Jesse says, we don't need to make a big fight at Layla's birthday, especially because of what just happened in her life. So she wanted to try to remedy it. So that's why she goes to talk to Layla. So it's not this big thing. At this point, when Jesse gets up and leaves Jordan to go talk to Layla, Jordan gets mad that he feels like emotionally like, ⁓ he says that he was like emotionally abandoned at the party. Okay. And her choosing to get involved with the fight, she is picking the fight over giving him value. Jordan leaves the party without saying anything to Jesse ⁓ and calls Dakota and Dakota comes to pick him up. ⁓ my gosh. Because you just can't be around it anymore. He says he feels emotionally abandoned by his wife. ⁓ And that's the end of the episode. That's it. OK. Wow. Interesting. Starting off season three strong. Yeah. Jumping right back into the drama. Jumping back in, new key players, Jesse and Jordan. Yeah. At least we're not hearing the Taylor Dakota fight for now. Yeah, that that seems to be. And then, you know, we don't have the Demi drama this episode. That was kind of the really big part of ending season two is all the Demi bullshit. So I mean, you got a little bit of Demi with the text and the Brett drive by. Yeah, but that's nothing. Nothing from Whitney. Yeah, no. Miranda was pretty quiet. Any any preview of next week? I started watching next week's episode, so I don't know where the preview ended and the next episode was. All right. You don't have to tell us about it then. So I like high level. That's all right.
