Transcript
- 0:06Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling. Welcome back, darlings.
- 0:20It's me Amy Phillips, your bitch wife, right here on a Thursday aka
- 0:26Peel behind the Curtain. It's actually Tuesday that I'm recording this because right now
- 0:31I am in Michigan and I'm sure real time, hopefully my flight got there.
- 0:35Joining me today, Deanna Chang. How are you, Deanna? Amy
- 0:39Phillips, I'm here. I'm happy. I'm excited to talk to you.
- 0:44Oh, I'm so excited too. We're doing the Bachelorette today and you are
- 0:48right up on that microphone. We did some audio adjustments before we began.
- 0:51Deanna was like, what can I do to make this better? And I
- 0:54said, just ride that microphone, honey, and don't And I mean that
- 0:58in the most Luanne and Sonya kind of way that I could possibly say it.
- 1:02And so here you are up on that mic My lips are on the
- 1:07foam Experior. You have the proper term for it, because you are a
- 1:11sound goddess, like Amy knows her goddamn sound information. She was like,
- 1:18oh, put the schumagga waga back on and do this or that, and
- 1:23so my lips are on this shebang yeah on the pop screen, which I
- 1:29believe me, I did not direct her to do that. She's doing that
- 1:32on her very own. I just said, just get close to it.
- 1:34She's chosen to literally eat the mic. And so darlings, just know,
- 1:40you know that's what That's what it is. Today we are doing Bachelorette.
- 1:44As I mentioned, I should be in Michigan as of right now and tomorrow
- 1:49Friday. Podcast that will be airing is a special podcast with your bish Therapist
- 1:57and it will be covering Kathy, Kim and Kyle, the sisterhood that we
- 2:01are all very much intrigued by. We do a very quite the deep dive.
- 2:07Well I should say she did the deep dive. I was just along
- 2:09for the ride. But what an amazing and interesting conversation that we had.
- 2:15I mean, it is worth listening. And if you are not subscribed to
- 2:20my Patreon, that is an example about what you get on my Patreon and
- 2:23other things. So patreon dot com backslash Drama Darling. And then on Monday,
- 2:30because I will be in the air flying back to Los Angeles, the
- 2:35show that's gonna air. Then I have the stew crew on you guys,
- 2:38have heard me talk about the Stue crew. It's a gaggle of flight attendants
- 2:42that have been listening to me four years who have been so supportive. Well,
- 2:45I finally wrangled them together. I got four flight attendants on the line
- 2:51with me and I interviewed the heck out of him and was like, tell
- 2:55me everything, good, bad, ugly. You know, there are a
- 2:58lot of things that they can't say, but they said a lot. And
- 3:02here's to tell you how serious we are about this. There's anonymity there,
- 3:07like names, faces, airline redacted. Okay, so it's a great episode.
- 3:14I will not be posting the video on Patreon because you cannot see their
- 3:16faces. And it's great. It's great. We get a lot of tips
- 3:21and tricks. And on that note, I woke up this morning to an
- 3:25email saying, like time to check in right, And then a couple emails
- 3:30later, I get one that says, hey, check out your upgraded seat
- 3:37and I said, come again, sure enough, And this has never happened
- 3:43to me, but I'm upgraded to Comfort plus. Yay, thank you,
- 3:49Dan, Yay, come on, thank you, thank you. I know
- 3:54it's it's an emotional day for me. I've never gotten this before, and
- 3:59I didn't even you know, it's in my settings, like always consider me,
- 4:02you know, when you're consider me when you're upgrading, if there is
- 4:04tough space for me, like consider your bitch wife. And they did,
- 4:11they did, and I woke up to just the news I wasn't I didn't
- 4:14even know I was in the running. I don't even know it was that
- 4:15close. And I just want to thank Delta. I want to thank all
- 4:19my medallion points. I want to thank all my flights back and forth in
- 4:21New York City. Gosh, this is good stuff. Wow. And I
- 4:28really look forward to you. I know, I know because I when I'm
- 4:30flying by myself, I don't need comfort Plus. I never upgrade to it
- 4:35because I can save the money. Now, when Brett is flying with me,
- 4:40because he's a giant, he refuses to do anything other than comfort plus
- 4:45and always coming from LA the flights are very long, so he's a little
- 4:47diva and refuses to fly economy. So I have to, you know,
- 4:54bend to his as a good wife does. Kidding Now, I'm like,
- 4:59well that's fine, I'll all fly comfort with you whatever. But like when
- 5:01I'm on my own, I'm not gonna be putting that coin out, so
- 5:05sure enough, you know, there there we have it. And I don't
- 5:09know if it's And let me tell you, I don't think it's the STU
- 5:12crew because I don't think they They didn't even know I was flying, and
- 5:15they certainly didn't know where I was going or when, so I can't give
- 5:17them any credit. Plus, who knows that they even work for the airline
- 5:20that I'm flying on? So many wow a questions? That's I mean,
- 5:26I feel like the stew crew may have put out a word at large,
- 5:30because I do think all of these flight attendant people have like some kind of
- 5:34connection going, and I think they might have been like flag the name Amy
- 5:40Phillips, like we gotta we gotta elevate her, but on these flights,
- 5:46we gotta give her some light. Now come us, Can you walk me
- 5:50through? Is that legs or is that room around the left legs hips?
- 5:56And buddy Buddy bunny, Yeah, you all listen to is Candy's songs and
- 6:00comfort plus and you got a hiss? I mean, no, what do
- 6:06you what are you asking me? If it's not business class? It's not
- 6:10you know, it's just a little more comfortable than economy. It's less comfortable
- 6:15than business class or first And yeah, I mean it's in the name comfort
- 6:21plus like you are. No, they're not over it, over delivering in
- 6:27the name, but they're they're letting you know, guess what, You're gonna
- 6:30be more comfortable, right, And then plus you get more attention in terms
- 6:34of like I want to say, drinks, maybe you get one more service,
- 6:41or you get something something along the lines of being taken care of,
- 6:44whether it's beverage or otherwise service. So the plus is something I'm not certain
- 6:49about, but I know there's a plus or will be revealed, like you'll
- 6:54be able to come back with like plus details like it's like the bed bath
- 6:59and beyond. You know, sometimes you don't know what the beyond's gonna be.
- 7:02You don't and so the plus they're closed there plus very very unfortunately.
- 7:09Yeah, yeah, but yes, I will come back with the plus.
- 7:12Deanna, Oh, I forgot one of my ring lights isn't on. Oh,
- 7:15darlings, I need my lighting. Where's my lighting? Oh my gosh,
- 7:20here it is. Here's my lighting. I feel so much better.
- 7:25Okay, well enough about that, Deanna Chang. We have some dish to
- 7:30serve up to day dish. Forgive me if this feels late to you,
- 7:35but it's a Tuesday for me, so it's you know, some of this
- 7:40news needs to come out now, but you're getting it on Thursday, So
- 7:43I apologize if it's late. But anyway, as you know, the Bravo
- 7:47Con ticket sales began last week for just a short amount of time for those
- 7:53three day passes. Now, if you're a Bravo insider, and the only
- 7:57way to do that is just to basically go to Bravo website and sign up
- 8:01and give them your email. That's all. You're not doing any You're not
- 8:03like sign up for Genshaw's you know telemarketing scheme. Don't worry about it.
- 8:09Also, this is not a hashtag add I don't gain anything for I don't
- 8:11care. Anyway, you get you know, insider information, and so one
- 8:16of which is like last week, you would have gotten an email that says,
- 8:20hey, Ravo insiders, you get a pre sale. You get to
- 8:24like you get to buy your tickets on pre sale before the tickets actually go
- 8:28on sale. So that was a benefit. Now I got something that says
- 8:31that one day tickets will go on sale on seven twenty eight, which I
- 8:35believe is this Friday, meaning tomorrow, and another special offer for insiders will
- 8:41hit your inbox on Thursday, which is today, So insiders, check your
- 8:43inbox. I don't know what that surprise is, but those of you who
- 8:48got the three day passes, congratulations. I understand it was a mad rush
- 8:54and it sold out like you know, hotcakes. I don't. I don't
- 9:00have a reference. I'm I was born in nineteen forty. But so yeah,
- 9:07you know, it's sold out like within thirty seconds. And I know
- 9:09several people who didn't get tickets. I didn't even try. I don't know.
- 9:13I'm just going on a wing in a prayer. You are not locking
- 9:18in your tickets? Amy, do they give it to you? I mean,
- 9:22how does it work? So right now? So I'm definitely going to
- 9:30Bravo Kanda do my cabaret, which details to come, details to follow.
- 9:35I just need to iron out some other details and let you guys know what's
- 9:41going on with that in terms of like ticket sales and stuff. But I
- 9:43do have a theater and I'm planning on doing my cabaret me on Thursday,
- 9:50Friday and Saturday night. Wow. Wow. Yeah, it's going to be
- 9:56very exciting. I just need to get those ticket sales up. But keep
- 10:00that in the back of your mind if you want to come see this,
- 10:03you know, just insanely bonkers show and it's fun because it's at night.
- 10:09So if you're not doing the add ons, like it'll be at nine.
- 10:11I believe it's at nine or ten. I need to figure it out because
- 10:13some of it I didn't want to like have a conflict with the watch What
- 10:16Happens Lives and stuff. So I just need to work out the time.
- 10:20But anyway, that being said, I will be there for that. I
- 10:26have pitched doing a cooking panel with chef Stewart Okeefe and I'm hoping that we
- 10:33get to do that because if we do do that, then we do have
- 10:37an all day pass the day that we do the panel. Okay, that
- 10:41being said, so what I might do is at least like get a one
- 10:45I might just buy a one day pass for like the Friday or something like
- 10:48that, because Bravo needs to just get you together, like I don't want
- 10:54you buying any so, you know, and I don't know if I'll be
- 10:56hosting any other panels because sometimes they don't you know, they're working out so
- 11:01many of the bigger picture things that they you know, they can't worry about
- 11:05the smaller things until later. And they know they've got a bevy of people
- 11:09that they can pull from, so there will be no lack of panelists two,
- 11:13I mean people who can host their panels. So that being said,
- 11:16I can't wait on the security of them. You know, taking care of
- 11:22me. Need to take care of myself is essentially That's what I've learned.
- 11:28Mel Robbins said it. You know, no one is coming to save you.
- 11:33I need to take care of myself, and that is a big lesson
- 11:37that we should all learn. No one's coming beside you. So but I
- 11:41do think that Darlings need to get it together and book their Cabareami's tickets so
- 11:48that that's locked and loaded, so we know we can move and shake.
- 11:52Yeah, absolutely, but they're not on sale yet so that's why they can't
- 11:56really, But we're working on it. No, we're real close. We're
- 11:58real close. This is exciting. It's so exciting. I'm just excited to
- 12:05like, I will be there no matter what. And but I think now
- 12:09that we've talked through it, I think I've got my plan. I'm gonna
- 12:11just get a one day pass. What are you gonna do? I am
- 12:16very intimidated by cons of any kind. So you're not going, And I
- 12:20understand, I respect. This is the only one, I think because it's
- 12:26here. It's not in New York, you know here meaning Vegas. Right,
- 12:31it's so close, it's right, It's like you don't have to go
- 12:33all the way over that. Yeah, totally, you could drive there,
- 12:37like I could drive there. I could get there, so you know,
- 12:43it's not off the table completely. I just also feel that I get overwhelmed
- 12:50by that many people and so I just don't know me like I would like
- 12:54someone, just like I would like someone to get get it sorted for me.
- 13:00But as you said, that ain't gonna happen. No, I guess
- 13:03No. I'd like to be whisked in and out and told what to do
- 13:09and where to go. And I know, and that's it, that's what
- 13:11because a con is overwhelming. It is. But we're not real housewife,
- 13:16we're not bravolebrities, so we won't get whisked in and wisked out under you
- 13:20know, understood, So I need to figure out. I mean, if
- 13:26you're not getting wisked in and wist out. I'm sure. I mean,
- 13:28I know, what's that. Nary a person has been like hey, but
- 13:33I I well, let's it's hypothetical. You know. Let me say this.
- 13:37It was different the last time that I did it. I'm not saying
- 13:41that I haven't been wisked in and wisked out because the last two times that
- 13:46I've done it, I have hosted a couple of panels. I have had
- 13:50the you know, the the all access like you know that happened, but
- 13:54it wasn't for it wasn't because I I mean, I'll say this, I
- 14:01just got pretty lucky towards the end, you know what I'm saying, like,
- 14:03okay, and I was really gambling with it all working out, which
- 14:09it did, and I just don't want to have to gamble like that anymore.
- 14:13It's too stressful. But last year, you know, we Stuart and
- 14:18I got we were blessed. We were hashtag so blessed by the Bravo con
- 14:24gods that we did our panel, our cooking panel, and we had a
- 14:31Kiosk. They allowed us to have a booth to sell our cook It,
- 14:33Spill It, Throw It. The Not So Real Housewives Pardy Cookbook, and
- 14:39so for that reason, we were in and out. We were all over
- 14:43that con like white on rice like it was there was no way you could
- 14:46look and not see us. We were every ware Like wow, it was
- 14:54it was insane. It was so much fun. It was so great.
- 14:56It was one of the greatest times of my life. That being said,
- 14:58don't no if we're going to even get a booth, because it's different this
- 15:01year, you know, like our book came out around that time, so
- 15:03I'm not sure, Like who knows, you know, they've done the cooking
- 15:07panel, who knows that they're gonna want to do it again? I don't
- 15:09know. I don't know if I'll host an Orange County panel. I am
- 15:13focused on the Cabarami and if anything else comes about, I will be just
- 15:18delighted to jump right in and just put my little Bravo had in the ring.
- 15:24But in the meantime, I think I'll get a I'll get a pass
- 15:26or two, you know, by by myself a ticket, just to be
- 15:30on the safe side, just so I can get in love it. Now
- 15:33that you've you're going to be post having experienced comfort plus, so you'll be
- 15:41different, you know what I mean, this time around, you are going
- 15:46to be a little bit different than you were today, really, you know,
- 15:50So yeah, I agree. Yeah, I think if anything, the
- 15:54flight will give me more perspective. You know, I'll be more resolute in
- 15:58my decisions, and I'll circle back with you. I'll circle back with you
- 16:03for sure. Well, so that about Bravo con and then what else do
- 16:11we have in the news? Oh? Yes, so this is very wild.
- 16:17You're gonna appreciate this. Heather and Terry dubro have bought a Beverly Hills
- 16:22estate for sixteen million dollars. Et has the story. Heather and Terry have
- 16:30closed a deal to purchase the late filmmaker Dino Delarentis's nine thousand square foot Beverly
- 16:37Hills mansion, which sits on eight point two acres. Now, if you
- 16:45are aware of who Dino Delurentis is, are you? He's a filmmaker,
- 16:49He's an Italian. Well, I gotta let me Dino. Okay, I
- 16:55have to google him again because I did not know who he was. Can
- 17:00him up? King Kong nineteen seventy six, Flash Gordon nineteen eighty, Conan
- 17:07the Barbarian. I mean, I'm just rating three credits right there, and
- 17:11there's way more to be said. Also, this is gonna blow your mind,
- 17:17but yeah, it is true. Giata d Laurentis. This is her
- 17:23grandfather. Yeah, huh yeay, Nepo baby alert. I know, yes,
- 17:37it's one of uh yeah, it's one of his grandkids. So honestly,
- 17:41I was shocked to see this, and you know what, it does
- 17:44kind of make sense. You're like, oh, interesting, it's awesome as
- 17:48she is. As awesome as she is, you're kind of like noted,
- 17:52you know what I mean? Uh huh, I mean I have received the
- 17:56information and I've put it in the file adept. Yeah, we've all,
- 18:03yeah, exactly. Anyway, so this this home that they purchased. This
- 18:07is the latest addition to their real state portfolio, after purchasing a Robert to
- 18:11Roberto Cavali designed penthouse in Century City, which we all know about. By
- 18:17the way, both of these well, so this actual listing was sold to
- 18:22them by guess who, Josh Altman from Million Dollars Listing Los Angeles. Definitely
- 18:30going to be on the next season. Cannot wait. I mean, this
- 18:33is some serious history right here. By the way, this house was up
- 18:38for sale. Oh my gosh, they got such a steal on it.
- 18:41I'm serious. It was up for thirty seven point five million dollars and they
- 18:45got it for sixteen point one. That is an insane price, well below
- 18:52the asking price. So I am fascinated to hear what happened here, and
- 18:56I hope this is on a million dollar that's a shocking drop. I mean,
- 19:04it's either that the person felt, you know, the history of the
- 19:11you know, sometimes the seller just has an overblown understanding of the market and
- 19:18wants to list it and won't budge, you know, on this crazy price.
- 19:22But that is so shocking that you know that sticker price cut in half
- 19:30or more. That's really confusing. I really am not sure what happened.
- 19:34I am also intrigued with this story. And when they were asked about a
- 19:41comment if they bought it, and Heather said, yes, we did.
- 19:45It's so exciting. And then she says, we try to buy five or
- 19:49six properties all over Cabo, Newport Beach, Beverly Hills, Palm Springs,
- 19:55and the universe landed us here at the most iconic Hollywood a STA. Now,
- 20:00in my opinion, this should get Heather on the Real Housewives of Beverly
- 20:07Hills. If for nothing else, this house alone, that's your ticket in.
- 20:11You don't need anything else. This house is its own character, and
- 20:15we want characters, want character. Her neighbors are going to be Lebron,
- 20:25James Drake, Chrissy Teagan and John Legend and uh. Before de Laurentes owned
- 20:33the property, it belonged to millionaire restaurant tour Steve Crane, one time husband
- 20:38of Hollywood icon Lana Turner. I mean there's just history here, history thoughts,
- 20:47Diana Shang, do we want her? You know, I go through
- 20:52a lot with Heather emotionally, personally, I go through a lot. So
- 20:59it does feel like Ocie at this moment in time is on her a for
- 21:04reasons that are like not great, Like it doesn't feel warranted to me right
- 21:11now, I to I agree they are really hard on her this season.
- 21:18Yeah, yeah, Like is it tone deaf to in the same sentence,
- 21:26you know, the shoveling shit thing she can't not that's Heather that you know
- 21:32she can't see that that is offensive on some level because she's Heather, right,
- 21:41But I actually am kind of enjoying her this season. The season before
- 21:45when she was like bringing people around to property and showing off so much her.
- 21:51I think that was her first season back, if I'm not mistaken.
- 21:53Yeah, I was like, I can't and I won't. But this season
- 21:57I'm enjoying her. Yeah. But if OC runs her out, which I'm
- 22:02thinking they possibly could, because there's no safe landing spot for her right now,
- 22:08maybe maybe Beverly Hills could use a bump. It's like, how would
- 22:14she be as a big fish with the other big fish? You know?
- 22:18Yeah, I like it. I say, popper right in there? Who
- 22:22the hell cares at this point? I mean, what else is going on
- 22:26in Beverly Hills anyway? Like, yeah, we might as well, see
- 22:30just throw her in there, just throw her in there, like, let's
- 22:33mix it up. Taylor is now she was on Beverly Hills, she is
- 22:38now on Orange County. The universe will balance itself out by putting Orange County
- 22:42onto Beverly Hills. And that's that's great. You make an excellent point.
- 22:48We do need a balance. Yeah, and I like her on OC.
- 22:52Taylor. I think it works. I do too. I do too,
- 22:55I do too, I do too. Great. Okay, I'm glad we
- 22:57agree on that. Okay, what else is in the dish today. Well
- 23:06let's see here. Oh yeah, Kyle, speaking of Beverly Hills. Kyle
- 23:10Richards was on an Amazon Live and she actually decided to speak out to some
- 23:18of these rumors about her not wearing her wedding ring and what a place to
- 23:22do it an Amazon Live. But anyway, she didn't. It's just so
- 23:26random. But she's always on an Amazon Live these days. It's like,
- 23:33you know, the new Install Live is the Amazon Live is the new Install
- 23:36Life? Is that what I'm trying to say. I believe it. I
- 23:38believe it at least for Kyle. Okay, And it's wild, these Amazon
- 23:42Lives because I've I don't know if I've ever actually watched one. I'm trying
- 23:47to think if I have, if I've maybe seen some clips from one.
- 23:51But yeah, I think I've seen a clip from like La La or maybe
- 23:55Madison from you know, you know, I saw it from Madison from Southern
- 23:59Charm when she was like, yeah, I don't care about anybody. That
- 24:02last boyfriend who cares like it was something about what Austin or she dragged him
- 24:07on Amazon Live whatever. But the point is is that Kyle was basically saying
- 24:15oh yeah, I'll speak to you know, this whole marriage thing about me
- 24:18and Mauricio, me and Mo and the wedding ring thing. She's like,
- 24:22it's so ridiculas Mea was like, oh I did was I just don't wear
- 24:26my wedding rink because I'm working out, I'm lifting weights, I'm lifting weights.
- 24:29I'm just being honest. And my god, the one day that port
- 24:32took Portie at school and she wanted to get donuts and like coffee for our
- 24:34ta jars and then actually, you know, Pop Bronte shown up and they
- 24:37were like snapped pictures and they're like, don't ring. And I'm like,
- 24:41yeah, we all know that. I never I never question if a person
- 24:48isn't wearing their wedding ring, Oh my god, they're getting divorced, there's
- 24:52marital troubles, you know, Like I never think that. If anything,
- 24:56I'm like, she probably you know, she's been getting fit. Maybe the
- 24:59wedding rings like too big, it's gonna fall off, or like she doesn't
- 25:02feel like wearing it. It's hot out, like I don't know, But
- 25:04that was never the biggest question. What I want to know is why does
- 25:07she have matching tattoos? With this Morgan the country singer, that's what we
- 25:11want to know. Who cares about the wedding ring? But she did allude
- 25:15to the fact that on the uh she said that on She's like, you'll
- 25:18have to watch this season because you know, I don't want to say too
- 25:22much, but like you'll see. And I thought, well, this is
- 25:25interesting because you know it's being plugged. The show's being plugged on Amazon Live.
- 25:29And it's just like all feels like so much of augh the momentum is
- 25:33very much a setup, and I hate it because I really believe Kyle,
- 25:37Like I believe Kyle. I believe in Kyle. I am a Kyle stan
- 25:44But I don't care about the rings. The ring don't mean a thing,
- 25:47you know, like it's it's it's more about like, just don't say anything
- 25:52at all, because if you're gonna address just one thing, you might as
- 25:56well address all of it, because it's not just about that that was one
- 25:59part of this story that people were making ridiculous assumptions about, and those weren't
- 26:04the big things. So anyway, I digress to say, it's like making
- 26:08news, which is silly, and I'm I'm you know, perpetuating it.
- 26:14Which I hate. But what am I going to do well with Kyle?
- 26:18I think, you know, we have We know that she does some producing
- 26:22in the show, like she'll move story along, but we don't really see
- 26:26her doing that off screen, and so yeah, it feels sweaty, and
- 26:32we don't want her to be sweaty. Yeah, there's something something's a miss.
- 26:38You know, it's your day a miss. And I don't like that
- 26:44feeling. I don't like it when it's coming from our Kyle. And I
- 26:48stand by the fact that like, yeah, I'm looking at you, Maurcio,
- 26:52you know, yeah, we gotta you know, I'm looking out for
- 26:55our girl, Kyle. You know, I don't know what you got going
- 26:57on there, but you Le's the one. Kyle's the one that we have
- 27:02our back for. Oh okay, well, I think that's the end of
- 27:06our dish. It's time to talk about the Bachelorette. Dahada ahmada to the
- 27:11Bachelorette. Major haaba dah thank you, Deanna, Thank you, Danna.
- 27:21New Orleans. We're in New Orleans. I don't know how they got there.
- 27:23I can't even remember where they were before. They were in the mountain
- 27:26somewhere. I don't know, like a week goes by, Yeah, Washington,
- 27:30a week goes by. I feel like I'm one of the Bachelor's.
- 27:33I'm like, oh, I'm holding on to where we had a month ago.
- 27:36I'm like, that's what it feels like to me. Now you guys
- 27:38are now in New Orleans, and I'm so used to seeing the progression of
- 27:45the housewives packing for a trip, talking about the trip, getting ready for
- 27:49the trip, worrying about what's gonna happen on the trip, and then the
- 27:52next and then like the travel to the trip, the arrival to the trip,
- 27:56that picking the rooms on the trip, and on the bachelorette. It's
- 27:59like, well, we're in New Orleans and now we're on the street and
- 28:02U and the first date will begin. You know. It's just like it's
- 28:06so different. Well, there's a couple things happening, Amy, and I'd
- 28:11love to talk about them, and just in terms of the nuts and bolts
- 28:14and the patriarchy and the man keeping us down. Okay, oh wow,
- 28:18yeah, let's get into it. Oh my gosh, deanah amazing truth major
- 28:26hbba dah, major hobba dah. A couple things. First of all,
- 28:30live and Breathe for Charity period dot. End of story, period dot period
- 28:37dot. Charities show has been on and I think you probably watch not in
- 28:44real time, right you're watching You're watching a lot of stuff. Okay,
- 28:48So I tend to watch this in real time okay. And they had it
- 28:53on at nine PM, which is too late, and we were not happy
- 28:59about it. A Bachelor Nation so last night, Yeah, so this week's
- 29:04episode was finally on at eight pm? No way? Are you serious?
- 29:10Yes? So great? It happy, is great, but like, why
- 29:15make us go through all those nine pms? You know Charity is trying to
- 29:18get Like, why why did you do that to us? Because I know
- 29:21that probably had to affect how many people watched, et cetera. Are you
- 29:26telling me that The Bachelor is on at eight and the Bachelorette is on at
- 29:30nine? Everything is always on at eight except for this particular season with Charity,
- 29:37and they pushed us to nine. Oh wow, rude, wow,
- 29:42rude? What the hell else is on on a Monday night on ABC?
- 29:48Unclear? But I know we were put to the to the real They put
- 29:52the screws to us and made us like hop on at nine. So there
- 29:55was that we got to eight. Thank you this how she always should have
- 29:59been? Another thing that happened this week that we did not have this.
- 30:03This is episode five, Yes for five up until this episode one, two,
- 30:11three four, no little cutie emoji of Charity with the hashtag bachelorette on
- 30:22Twitter, you're saying yes until last night, we're running around without that cute
- 30:29little emoji. And you can't tell me that it's because people are on summer
- 30:33break. I won't hear that. Not no, no, and has nothing
- 30:38to do with the writer's strike or the actors strike. No, It's like,
- 30:47you know she's out there, we are watching and we are seeing feeling.
- 30:52We don't like it. Give Charity her goddamn little roses. Give her
- 30:56her roses. Literally, I didn't know that they had like a little emoji
- 31:02for them. They do that now? Wow. See Twitter such a trash
- 31:06place that I don't really go there anymore, but I do love to do
- 31:10a good Twitter scroll every once in a while. But I did not know
- 31:11about the upgraded emoji. Very cool. Okay, there there is an actual
- 31:17name for what that is, and I don't have it at the top of
- 31:21a bit moji. No, it's specific to that hashtag. It's like,
- 31:26oh, got you. It's specific and I want to find it out for
- 31:30you and I will, but it's yeah, it's and it you know shows
- 31:33get it? Holler back Bachelor Nation. Yeah, okay. A couple other
- 31:41things that the man is trying to keep us down on, and the episodes
- 31:45are cut down, so you're feeling right now of like wait, what just
- 31:48happened? Like how am I not knowing? We're in New Orleans? And
- 31:52like what where did all of the men go? You know, all of
- 31:56that. It just feels like, wait, hometowns are next week? What's
- 32:00going on? They cut her down, They cut down her season, so
- 32:04it's not actually low we're not getting okay, that makes sense, okay,
- 32:10And they never let her leave the United States of America and we're out of
- 32:15COVID, so like that's annoying to me. And I also feel like the
- 32:20work that she's doing, the heart that she's giving to this season, and
- 32:27the guys as well, you know, I think they're all yeah, they
- 32:30are too. These guys feel like it seems like they're on jury duty and
- 32:36like the most important case, the way that they're acting like they're sequestered.
- 32:40They haven't seen the light of day. I mean, it is really intense,
- 32:46and I'm starting to feel that it's making me. It's giving me very
- 32:50weird, panicky feelings. Like when Tanner's like, Oh, I'm gonna be
- 32:54a hopefully making it to hometowns so I can get my first one on one,
- 32:59I'm like, what, what actual is going on on this show?
- 33:06How has that not happened? Are they you're saying it's a trim down season?
- 33:09Are they trimming down the amount of dates she's allowed to have? Because
- 33:13that's what it feels like, Like, how this is happening? I think
- 33:16they are. I think she got a truncated season. Yeah, like Aaron
- 33:22b and I was and I was like, oh my god, this is
- 33:24exactly what Amy's been saying since the beginning. He said four weeks feels like
- 33:31six months, and I was like, that is Amy math in terms of
- 33:37what we've been It is these poor men, I mean, and I don't
- 33:43know, like, is she going on vacations on her own like which I
- 33:46hope, but I mean these guys, I it's a desert out there and
- 33:52they are thirsty. Oh my gosh. Not to say that, like she
- 34:00hasn't made the right decisions. But you know you're gonna, Deanna, when
- 34:07you hear what I have to say, you're gonna be like genuinely scared right
- 34:12now. Genuinely You're not gonna be scared as much as you are going to
- 34:16be like I told you so, because we're jumping right to the end,
- 34:22which is we'll work our way back. We'll work our way back. But
- 34:31Charity sent Tanner home okay, and his exit interview and his walk away,
- 34:39I was like, this was a mistake. We didn't get to know who
- 34:45he was and he has some promise and I overlooked it. I feel responsible.
- 34:51I want to come to the table and own it. I want to
- 34:53come to the table and apologize to you, Deanna, for one, because
- 34:57you called it. You were like, give him a chance. You basically
- 35:00almost threw a cold cup of water in my face and said, stop this
- 35:04nonsense. You know, stop this. You tried to shake me and you
- 35:08said, give him a chance. What did he ever do? And I
- 35:12said, it's not what he did, it's what he hasn't done. And
- 35:15I stand corrected because I saw more heart in that Tanner in that excit interview
- 35:22than I have in Xavier. This whole time. Yeah, and yeah,
- 35:28Exavier's got it. I've got the hots for him too. Okay, we've
- 35:31all got the hots for Xavier and Cherry. He's got it going on for
- 35:36him and we can see it clear obviously. But where's the heart. It's
- 35:40on dinner. It's on dinner, and there it goes. And yeah,
- 35:46did I did I chalk him up as just a regular guy next door?
- 35:51Is the mortgage broker? Yeah? I did. I said, what does
- 35:53a mortgage broker have to offer the bachelorette? Shame on, h I've got
- 36:01New Orleans egg on my face. I've got bignets all over my face,
- 36:09and I apologize to you in Riddled with Amy. Okay, I jotted down
- 36:22several different times in this episode. Am I feeling Tanner? I think I
- 36:27am. I like Tanner. I want to keep Tanner Tanner Tanner Tanner.
- 36:32As I'm watching, I go, Tanner seems like an actual adult. Tanner's
- 36:37not a child like I was. Tannered up. I even said, Tanner's
- 36:43giving me John Janssen vibes be good or bad. But I was getting some
- 36:47from from a Shannon's boyfriend from Orange County. That's okay, But for a
- 36:53second, he was, and then he moved out of it. Okay,
- 36:58lamb, was that a slam or? Were you giving him a compliment with
- 37:01that? At the and the moment, I was giving a compliment because look,
- 37:05you know, John Jansen's got his own boat slip right outside of his
- 37:07is his house, his his apartment house townhouse that we thought some people Emily
- 37:13thought was a house boat. But that digressed. Okay, But yeah I
- 37:16did for a second think, hey, maybe he's got a little grit to
- 37:20him. It's more than that, it's better than that. Yeah, So
- 37:23carry on, Tanner Tanner, Tannerner Tanner. He was dancing on that chopping
- 37:30block this whole episode. Dancing on top of that chopping block. Oh my
- 37:35god, I mean tango, you name it. This poor guy was.
- 37:40But the problem that I think you identified early on and I had to align
- 37:45with this this episode is that he isn't doing enough and I don't and I
- 37:54think for a television show, right in real life, yes, talk to
- 38:01me, yep, yep. No, he's he's right on track, but
- 38:07waiting, holding back, waiting for his moments, waiting, being polite,
- 38:15which is a nice quality, but it doesn't work on this program. And
- 38:22so as much as I we were able to be like, this guy's actually
- 38:29in it for real and real connected and he's an adult. Yep, he
- 38:35did it like Sean, we'll come back to no. And you know,
- 38:40he just didn't do enough for charity to get lit up. I know,
- 38:47I know he was. He was sitting there waiting to be seen and he
- 38:53was never seen and and that's all we want. And he could have he
- 38:59could have shown up. He would have shown up because you got to show
- 39:04up on the Bachelorette, and he never got the opportunity to show up.
- 39:10And so he showed out. He was shown out. He was shown right
- 39:15on out. She actually said, can I show you out? Show you
- 39:21out? You didn't show up, so now I show you out. And
- 39:24that's how it goes. But my god, his parting words to say,
- 39:31that girl deserves the world. Man, she's special. Deanna is fanning herself.
- 39:39You know what he said, He got a little choked up. He
- 39:42said she felt the way I felt. That's why it's really hard. Yeah,
- 39:49And her argument was right, you know, it doesn't make sense.
- 39:53We can't go to your hometown and they'll be like, so, what's your
- 39:58story of romance. We there yet, this is it. We're going to
- 40:01figure that out here mom and dad and uncle cousin. We're actually going to
- 40:08see if we're in the mood for each other right here with you all.
- 40:13Like that is weird and it's too late, you know, too little,
- 40:16too late, because once you get the family involved, you can't see the
- 40:21forest through the trees. That's gonna get weird. Yeah, you can't add
- 40:25it in there. So that she was boys, she can really cry.
- 40:29Those tears come down hard rain, hardest rain of all in those coming attractions
- 40:37for next week. I'm like, she's flooded. We're Oh. I know,
- 40:40I love it. I wish I could cry that hard. I mean,
- 40:44I can cry that hard, but it's just it's such a it's like
- 40:46a Tanner cry, you know what I mean. It's like right and then
- 40:50not too many wetness, Like the wetness doesn't come out as much. I
- 40:53don't know it says about me. I'm dead side. But anyway, so
- 40:59it was oken soaking what well. I just think that we should work our
- 41:07way backwards now that we're like already in it. But let's go back.
- 41:14I want to talk about I want to talk about I want to talk about
- 41:19Sean. Okay, he's so full of shit, full of shit Sean.
- 41:24Wow, No, thank you, I actually had you. You. You've
- 41:30given me a new perspective on some of the characters, the contestants, the
- 41:35characters, the characters, characters, long characters where I get I've gotten lost
- 41:44a few times and believing that they're legit. Well, you like to think
- 41:49the best of people, and I typically do too, but you really do
- 41:52give people the benefit of the doubt, which is a great trait. But
- 41:57I had to give it my head with him, Like I think Amy is
- 42:01going to say that he is doing it all for the show and he doesn't
- 42:05care a lick about charity. Yep, he's vye to be the next Bachelor.
- 42:10He put his head down in the confessional and was like, show me
- 42:15those tears. Tanner wasn't afraid to keep his head up in his parting confessional.
- 42:23You put your head down and you gave us a fake, fake or
- 42:30he's a fake. He's a freaking faker, lia face and he wants Bachelor
- 42:35and he's not gonna get it because we're not falling for that banana and the
- 42:37tailor. Why not any bachelor buddy, get out of here. You don't
- 42:42care about you like that. No, that's where his head's at. He
- 42:45is so oh one hundred percent. Why do you think that he went to
- 42:51that room. He was like, I'm I'm not I can't take her home,
- 42:54like I'm not actually in love with her. I can't go this far
- 43:00in order to secure my place on in Bachelor Nation and go to to be
- 43:04the Bachelor that would be the best case scenario, or at least to go
- 43:07to Paradise. I need to dip out, and I need to dip out
- 43:12now, and that's what I need to do, you know. So yeah,
- 43:17he had to go. He's like, you know, there's always a
- 43:20scene where somebody goes to their hotel room, and I'm thinking, why are
- 43:24they leaving this for the end? I mean, Tanner as a scener in
- 43:29four weeks, maybe he should have popped by a room at one point,
- 43:31you know. Wow, And there goes Tanner being polite, you know what
- 43:36I mean. So he goes to the room and he's like, oh,
- 43:43you know, my confidence in us was really has it wavered? And like
- 43:46I just can't believe that, you know, you know, we I even
- 43:50had a one on one. It was like really tough for you to like
- 43:53put that rose down and like didn't go on my chest. I was like,
- 43:57get the fuck out here, you And then she's like, yeah,
- 44:02because to make a decision would be premature and be a disservice to me and
- 44:06you. And he's like, but like I wanted to bring you home to
- 44:09my family feeling really good, and like basically now I just would rather go
- 44:15home instead of going through that whole process, and like it's kind of a
- 44:16pain in the ass because I just really would rather either be bachelor or beyond
- 44:21bachelor in paradise and and Shar's like, looking at it all, there are
- 44:29connections that are stronger. And then he's like, well, and his his
- 44:32argument was very compelling for a second, like m hm, but it was
- 44:38just enough to lay it on to where we could be, you know,
- 44:42drawn in enough to believe him, Like I don't want you to give up
- 44:45on our one on one time. I'm like, one on one, baby,
- 44:51you are far beyond our one on one. Like that that ship is
- 44:57you were you were on your two on one, And that's that's the song
- 45:00and the short of it. The two on one kills me, it's such
- 45:05a kiss of depth, like you get that two on one O, the
- 45:07vibe everyone's gone. And the funny thing is is that like historically speaking,
- 45:13and I will say, you know, it's kind of weird that they didn't
- 45:17put Aaron and Branden should have been on the two and two on one historically,
- 45:22Like it's so weird, But I guess because Aaron good point, good
- 45:28point, they never Yeah, they didn't have an early two on one that
- 45:30is weird where they like do a whole date in the woods and all that
- 45:34shit. Yeah, and you want the two on one to be adversarial,
- 45:37you know, you want the So this was such a Yeah, this was
- 45:44a very calm and like pretty anticlactic two on Yeah, I did you know?
- 45:50Uh So Sean is just like yeah, I thought he was. It
- 45:54was kind of funny to see Charity have to like really get his mind right
- 46:01around, like no, you're out of here, buddy, right. She's
- 46:07like yeah, with that said, like, it was kind of funny that
- 46:13she couldn't just do it that day, and she's like she just keeps kind
- 46:15of skating out of making decisions, which is making me laugh. She's like,
- 46:20I have this rose, I need more time, Like I had this,
- 46:23I need more time, and it's like, what is going to go
- 46:27down? I mean it's only a couple hours away. You're like one costume
- 46:30change away from making this decision, So like, just do it now.
- 46:32Meanwhile, on the Shawn and Tanner too on one in that riverboat, swamp
- 46:37gator cruise, crawdaddy lunch situation, I love that. Tanner's like I just
- 46:43keep showing up every six to eight weeks. And then he's like Sean is
- 46:50definitely more vocal. He's you know, he's a confident guy. He's an
- 46:52attractive guy. He's a you know I love I love Sean. You know,
- 46:57he's athletic, he's smart, he's courageous, and you know, I
- 47:01love them. I love him like a brother. If I were to,
- 47:05you know, pick a brother of my own, it would be it's like,
- 47:07stop talking about Sean. He's like, I have no choice. I
- 47:12don't know Charity. I have to talk about someone that I care about because
- 47:15I have never seen charity. And and then like Tanner is just like,
- 47:22oh, it's just and then Tanner, I don't know how he got away
- 47:24from that crawdaddy lunch to where uh, Sean and Charity were able to kiss
- 47:31like how they like, hey, Tanner, what's that over there? And
- 47:35then they made out like I don't know how I missed that. My head
- 47:37must have been down, but I don't know how they got like a moment
- 47:40by the river and Tanner didn't. He took it. He's like, I'll
- 47:45give you guys a moment. I'll give you guys a moment. Sean just
- 47:50went and took that goddamn moment. Oh, I took it. He took
- 47:53the moment to go into her hotel room like he is taking kiss moments okay,
- 47:59and Tanner is trying to be taking taking a knee it is. He's
- 48:07like, I'm a nice my mom raised me a certain kind of way,
- 48:09and I'm gonna be polite, you know. And then I'm a I mean
- 48:16I have written down. At some point middle of the episode, I said,
- 48:21Tanner has to do all caps something, you know. I just like
- 48:24jump in with the gators, I mean, any thing, any old thing.
- 48:31When Charity and Tanner had their moment on that two on one and he's
- 48:36telling his story about his past relationship, I was like, Babe, everybody
- 48:40already said their stories and that's happened about four weeks ago, and episode two,
- 48:46nobody cares about your past relationship and how your ex ghosted you. Also
- 48:52pretty weird. That was a little red flag. No, I was so
- 48:59caught up and what you're talking about, like this is not the this this
- 49:02time has passed, like we are no longer here. So it felt so
- 49:09jarring to hear his first like connection. It's best than it happened. It's
- 49:16like babies first steps, and we're like the babies are in like fifth grade
- 49:22right now, and you're just taking your first steps. Yeah, it was
- 49:27hard. It was hard, and it did illuminate like how much Tanner hasn't
- 49:34had I know, yeah yeah, and he's just like, well, uh
- 49:38Max ghosted me and you're just beautiful. I'm just happy happy I met you.
- 49:43It's like, okay, you gotta give more. Let's just skip past
- 49:46that part. If anything, that was the nail in the cough, the
- 49:50nail in your coffin. Really, you know, she's probably like, yeah,
- 49:53you guys were together for four years and then she left town and never
- 49:57to be heard from again. Are you gonna be weird? Like? What
- 50:01is going on? Do we need a citizen's arrest here. What do we
- 50:06need to do? Poor Charity all good. She's like in the middle of
- 50:09like, you know, a riverboat swamp area, and she's like, I'm
- 50:14getting a stress rash because I don't know what to do. And I was
- 50:16like, you don't know what to do. Throw these fools to the gators,
- 50:21both of them at that point. At that point, I was like,
- 50:22Tanner bye, but I'm like, there's nothing. The fact that she
- 50:28was like, I'm not going to hand out a rose and she needs more
- 50:30time. I'm thinking, send these fools back home, send them pack in,
- 50:35send them pack in. I was just I couldn't believe it. I
- 50:38just I just couldn't believe it. Yeah, Aaron B when they were back
- 50:45at the guy's hotel, at the hotel or whatever, and they get the
- 50:46group date card and they're just so waiting, and Aaron Be's like, I'm
- 50:50holding on to something I had with her from four weeks ago, and I
- 50:53was like, was it really that long ago? Like you had mentioned?
- 50:57And then Dwton gets the date card and Aaron Be is so passed, but
- 51:00I'm like, there's still one more date left, I think at that point,
- 51:06but maybe not. And then they ended up, and so after the
- 51:09marathon date, was there another date after that? No, there was the
- 51:14Joey date at the at the top, because there were when we went into
- 51:17this, it was like six guys remaining pivot a week for hometowns, four
- 51:22dates planned in this city. So we had Joey, we had oh,
- 51:28we had the two on one two on one, we had the marathon with
- 51:31Dotton, and then yeah, so there should have been one more date.
- 51:37So I'm very confused. Yeah, again, they cut her ass down.
- 51:44Well, they forgot continuitywise, because they literally said at the top of the
- 51:47show four dates planned in the city. So that's some bullshit. I mean,
- 51:53she did do I don't know if they were like she did do some
- 51:58sort of round robin of just like checking in with guys in their hotel rooms
- 52:01at the end. Yeah, yeah, shocking got up to it. You're
- 52:06right. It was a round robin of Tanner being like it's crazy that her
- 52:10first one on one will be hometowns, and Aaron B's like hometowns, no
- 52:15problemo, and then Xavier's like, our chemistry is crazy. So it was
- 52:21like that's all we got, and then yeah, so but Joey got a
- 52:25rose, Aaron b got a rose, and then Xavier finally got a rose
- 52:30at the end. But this is wild because he decides to really lay it
- 52:37on, which was shocking to all of us, saying like, committing to
- 52:39one person forever scares me. And she's like, what it was like?
- 52:45Cartoon? Her Head's like, I mean it was you know. They're up
- 52:49close in her face and she's like and he's like, well, something I've
- 52:54never done before and I want to do it once. And is the question
- 52:57is you know? I question if it's with you? That is the wrong
- 53:00thing to say. He says, I don't know what that one thing is
- 53:06to fall in love? Can I see wrong things to say? Right before
- 53:12hometowns for one hundred, He's like, do I think I can get there?
- 53:15Yes? But if you're the one, I don't want to pass you
- 53:19up. Oh thanks, thanks for doing me any favor, do me favor?
- 53:22Yeah? Yeah, And she kept him, but I understand because she
- 53:24does have chemistry with him and not with Tanner, so at least they have
- 53:28something to go home too. But this, this situation's going to explode,
- 53:32the Xavier situation, It's going to explode. Yeah, because he said I'm
- 53:37not ready for this, and I think it was giving Brandon vibes to me.
- 53:42And I think this is, you know, charity is her real sticking
- 53:46point. This is her tragic flaw is that someone says something plainly and she
- 53:52waits to hear the thing that sounds good, right, you know, and
- 53:59then she goes with that, Oh, you're so right. That's tough.
- 54:07Well, before we wrap up, let's just talk about Joey's date. I
- 54:09mean, it's just so not it's just so boring, like there's like nothing
- 54:14to say. I'm sorry, I know you can't jolly. I mean,
- 54:19now, did let me ask you something? At me? Let me ask
- 54:21you a question here? Does Jolley's to give you anything? The way he
- 54:28looks at her? Do you get any jols off of that at all?
- 54:34No, because it's too much. It seems like not something's off about it.
- 54:40I don't know. I'm sorry I did, and yeah, go ahead,
- 54:45okay, I just want to say up close and with the eye contact
- 54:49and stuff like that, great that you do it. It just seems a
- 54:51little off to me far away when he's like walking down the hall towards the
- 54:54camera, I'm like, hey, hey, girl, like he looks hot,
- 55:00and I like imagine him like on the tennis court, and would I
- 55:01be attracted. I'd be like, Oh, there's that hot tennis instructor,
- 55:04you know. But that's where it ends. Sorry, okay, And that's
- 55:09fine. His eye contact was getting me. I was feeling it. I
- 55:15also thought, I've been kind of fascinated that she hasn't is a couple of
- 55:21things I think are really interesting about race this season. Oh, yes,
- 55:24that's right. That is Actually it wasn't boring. That's a very important part
- 55:29that happened during their date. Well that was like part two of their date,
- 55:32you know, but I think you're thinking of part one where they are
- 55:35so I didn't even understand what was happening. That guy like heard a couple
- 55:37of things and wrote them a story. I didn't know what was going on.
- 55:40That was odd. Yeah, but part two of their date, I
- 55:45thought, you know, I've been interested in how she how and if she
- 55:49was going to ever mention race, because to this point she's she hasn't.
- 55:54And also what's been kind of interesting is that I haven't felt any any sort
- 56:01of race conflicts within the guys, and I think in the past we've had
- 56:08that a little bit, so that's been really nice. And then I've also
- 56:14loved that we have three black front runners. Is incredible, you know,
- 56:20that's a first. I completely agree, and and really great options of all
- 56:27the I mean, they're all we've had other than I think Sean from this
- 56:30last season. They're all great options. Absolutely, it's gonna be heartbreaking,
- 56:38to be honest, I this part is easy for me as you know,
- 56:45a shadow of the Bachelorette, because I'm like, dug Sean by Tanner,
- 56:50bye, like it's your time is coming. Let's maybe get get a little
- 56:54busy before you go. But like other than that, right, But you
- 57:00know, but what was wild is that I would have liked her to have
- 57:02asked that same question that she asked Joey, which is, how do you
- 57:06feel about being in an interracial relationship? If she would have said the same
- 57:09to Sean and Tanner, because you know, maybe she did, and again,
- 57:15cut, cut, cut, But all we got was like, you
- 57:21know, really just boring conversation with Sean and Tanner at that point. And
- 57:27so but I did I don't. Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 57:30No, I'm That's That's pretty much all I was going to say. This
- 57:32is the difference between I like that she went deeper with Joey. I would
- 57:37have liked this if we could have seen the conversation with the other two as
- 57:39well. I don't think she had it with them, and I could be
- 57:45wrong, but because I don't think it was going that far, so I
- 57:49think she waited to She was like, not going to mess with that question
- 57:53until it was real. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Well that
- 57:58means I did like Joey's answers because I found them to be authentic. He
- 58:05wasn't like, I will be know, you know, there won't be any
- 58:08issues. I will be great with everything. He said, like, I
- 58:13don't think I'll really understand what it's like to be because I've never dated a
- 58:17woman of color before, what that's going to be like until I'm in it,
- 58:22and I think an end, I'm going to be open and you know,
- 58:25supportive and all that. But I thought that was a real answer,
- 58:29and a somewhat risky answer in some ways because the truth of it is he
- 58:35it's the truth, you know, and that could maybe be unnerving for charity.
- 58:42But I thought she loved the answer, and I thought it was a
- 58:45really good one, especially considering her past with her ex, and I'm assuming
- 58:51that he was white because she says that he had a lack of awareness and
- 58:55that those things that she was bringing up, like that she would recognize when
- 59:00they were out and about he wouldn't, wouldn't acknowledge them, didn't matter,
- 59:05tried to brush them off, and that showed a lot of ignorance, and
- 59:07I can imagine that would be a real foreign in the side of any relationship.
- 59:12So for her to ask Joey these things and for him to answer in
- 59:15that way, I thought was a real positive thing. But also again,
- 59:21like you said, it's a little scary, you know, because he's saying,
- 59:23like, I don't really know until we're in that situation. So until
- 59:27they're in that situation, she won't really know, you know, as well
- 59:30for him, so time will tell. And I agree, and I think
- 59:36that the thing that was kind of also great was that he said he wanted
- 59:39to have kids and that would be a part. So he included that it
- 59:45won't just be the two of them that he would be having, you know,
- 59:51biracial children, and that would also be something he was you know,
- 1:00:00learning about him being open to and that he would be probably protective of and
- 1:00:06aware of and being making sure that he would learn everything that he would need
- 1:00:10to know. And I think you're right by him. See this was and
- 1:00:16I do believe that was very genuine. So for him to include like the
- 1:00:21vision of them having a family together was really quite beautiful. So you know,
- 1:00:27I gotta tell you, I Joey won me over. I didn't see
- 1:00:30it until now. I didn't see it until now, but he won me
- 1:00:31over in that conversation and I appreciate that. So, you know, I
- 1:00:36would say he's a good front runner, but Dawton is still I'm the one
- 1:00:40for me, for her and Aaron B. You know, we've lost a
- 1:00:45little touch. You know, we're a little out of touch with him right
- 1:00:46now. So that's tough. So hopefully we can you know, gain some
- 1:00:52more ground there. I've called seen on Xavier like we're not going any Yeah,
- 1:00:57we're not going further, but I'm very curious to see it's gonna happen
- 1:01:00here. This is it's a great it's a great show. And she's very
- 1:01:05emotional. She's really into a lot of guys. Yes, she's in and
- 1:01:09that is so huge for what I think. I think it's why I'm enjoying
- 1:01:14it because it's maybe a little lighter on drama because the guys are normal to
- 1:01:20some extent, and and she's deeply normal, Like she's a very normal person.
- 1:01:28She's not a drama queen on any level. She's not, you know,
- 1:01:32like I find her super authentic. So, I mean, the nonsense
- 1:01:40is really not there, which can be fun to watch, but the heart
- 1:01:45is and I'm I'm very much into it. The thing that's interesting about Zotten
- 1:01:51first of all, live and breathe for him beyond what's even possible, Like
- 1:01:57I'm, I mean, he's so adorable ball they are so cute together,
- 1:02:00it's insane. If she lets him go, I will be mad at her
- 1:02:06for the rest of my life. Or the opposite where he doesn't come correct,
- 1:02:10you know, Oh yeah, then he's going to be in major trouble.
- 1:02:14He'll be. But he also got Amy two one on ones, which
- 1:02:22to you know that is Wowie is Zalie. Yeah, it is Wowie Zalie
- 1:02:34boy. Yeah, I mean Sigin Siel delivered. I mean an Aaron Is.
- 1:02:43He's coming off a little dry to me these days. No, but
- 1:02:45we're yeah, we just we've lost touch with him. Who is he like,
- 1:02:50I don't know. Remember, I know this is tough. This is
- 1:02:53what's tough about the Bachelor, Bachelor at Nation situation. I mean, all
- 1:03:00right, I mean I did I did hear one bachelorette give another the new
- 1:03:04bachelorette advice once upon a time, No idea who the people were, but
- 1:03:07she was like, you get your the one that you think is going the
- 1:03:12distance, you pay them, no mind, you got that right, Yes,
- 1:03:16you're right. I think it was on this season. Wasn't it that
- 1:03:22the bachelorette said this to her? Maybe I said it again. It wasn't
- 1:03:27It was like a while ago that I heard that. It could have been
- 1:03:30somebody could have reiterated it. Maybe Jojo said the same thing. I don't
- 1:03:32know. I don't recall that pops up everywhere saying it right. Yeah,
- 1:03:37it is great advice, you know, but but to that point, we
- 1:03:42don't know Aaron b. I know they had a cute first date. I
- 1:03:45know you and I said it's a wrap after their first date. But God
- 1:03:49helped me if I could remember. I know they were at the Hollywood side,
- 1:03:52they were at the Hollywood sign. They were in a car. I
- 1:03:53know, I mean, say love you know. Yeah, you're only as
- 1:04:00good as the last look you put down the runway, according to Project Runway.
- 1:04:06So look, Dotton is uh he's got some hot looks right now and
- 1:04:11that's what we're that's what we're flying for. Well. Uh that's a wrap
- 1:04:16on the Bachelorette. Wow we did, Diana, Yeah, we really did.
- 1:04:20I'm really excited. Uh, this is darlings. Please weigh in.

- 1:05:13ready. But oh and please tell people what a sub stack is, because
- 1:05:17that's part of being less old is to be told what a substack is.
- 1:05:23Yeah, that's definitely going to be our first post is what is a substack?
- 1:05:29I barely know, but it's essentially a newsletter, but you can.
- 1:05:33We're also going to add video podcast elements and interviews and things like that,
- 1:05:40and we're gonna figure out what are the youths up to, you know,
- 1:05:45what are they saying, what are they doing? And who are they and
- 1:05:48who are we in relation to them and all that kind of fun stuff which
- 1:05:54we had so much fun doing back in the day, and we were like,
- 1:05:56it's time. We are older and we need to be less so we're
- 1:06:00gonna knock that out. So I am so here for that and I will
- 1:06:05be the first to jump on over there. So congratulations, congratulations. Yeah.
