Fatima Shrine Reborn After Tornado | Dayton News
After a devastating tornado tore through Russell’s Point, the beloved Our Lady of Fatima shrine has risen again—this time stronger, community-designed, and symbolizing resilience. Built over a year with input from residents across the state, the new shrine was ceremonially lifted into place on July 13th. Sculptor Mike Major hopes it inspires renewal as neighbors rally to rebuild. The public dedication kicks off August 14th at 5:30 PM, followed by the annual Catholic mass the next day.
