Basallo’s Clutch Moment Lights Up Orioles | Baltimore Orioles News
Samuel Basallo, the 21-year-old Orioles’ breakout star signed to a massive eight-year deal, delivered when it mattered most—hitting his first career pinch-hit home run in a dramatic extra-innings win over the Rays. Coming off the injured list after a shoulder issue, Basallo crushed a 400-foot two-run blast in the eighth to tie the game, setting the stage for Dylan Beavers’ walk-off hit in the 10th. The Orioles’ defense also shined with key plays from Tyler ONeill and Rico Garcia, helping secure an 8-of-9 win streak against their rivals. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow…
