- 0:13Speaker 1: talking about rid ten team.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We're not talking about last year.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's the one and only dog y'all the glasses as
- 0:18Speaker 1: the big smooth eagle double jibble in your face to
- 0:20Speaker 1: me and in the place to be.
- 0:22Speaker 2: And you're listening to John Jay and Rich. Wake your
- 0:24Speaker 2: ass Hey, Carly, good morning, what's up?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Good morning? I know you guys are talking about things
- 0:30Speaker 3: that you learned embarrassingly late, and I have one.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Okay, what'd you do? What'd you learn?
- 0:34Speaker 1: So?
- 0:35Speaker 3: And it wasn't actually super late in life, but when
- 0:38Speaker 3: I was really young, I asked my mom what God
- 0:41Speaker 3: looked like, and she said something to the effect of
- 0:45Speaker 3: nobody really knows because he's a being. And I heard
- 0:49Speaker 3: bean b E a n.
- 0:52Speaker 2: And so one.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Time, when I was around ten, I drew a picture
- 0:56Speaker 3: of God and it was like Alima Bean sitting a
- 1:00Speaker 3: throne with a crown on. And someone asked me why
- 1:03Speaker 3: that was God, and I had to tell them. So
- 1:06Speaker 3: that's when I realized it there was a difference between
- 1:09Speaker 3: B E A N and B E I N G.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Hello.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Good.
- 1:14Speaker 1: You know you don't know that he doesn't look like
- 1:15Speaker 1: a being might have been inspired.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Actually we don't and I don't know. Maybe he looks
- 1:20Speaker 3: like a pinto bean. But for me it was a
- 1:22Speaker 3: line of bean.
- 1:24Speaker 2: That's a great story. But you learned at ten. You
- 1:26Speaker 2: didn't learn it at thirty.
- 1:28Speaker 3: No, exactly. Well, I mean I'm saying I think I
- 1:30Speaker 3: was ten. Maybe I was twenty just last those years
- 1:36Speaker 3: are so far away from me now that it could
- 1:38Speaker 3: have been twenty.
- 1:39Speaker 1: The bean on the thrones a good image, saith.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Carl so too.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Thanks for listening, Carly, thanks for calling in.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Oh you're welcome.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Love you guys, Love you too. So in my routine
- 1:51Speaker 2: that I have my daily routine, the old morning routine,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I have a very strict ritual. You know. I go
- 1:55Speaker 2: and I do some stretches, I do a little bit
- 1:57Speaker 2: of lifting weights. I do some breathing. I meditated with
- 1:59Speaker 2: this chant, and then I go into my hot tub,
- 2:02Speaker 2: and in my hot tub I kind of pray out
- 2:04Speaker 2: loud and do stuff. Then I get my cold plunge,
- 2:07Speaker 2: and then I come in here and yesterday afternoon, and
- 2:11Speaker 2: this is the first rule problem. But my hot tub
- 2:13Speaker 2: was not hot, and I reached out to Travis, the
- 2:16Speaker 2: pool guy, and I'm like, hey man, hot tub's not hot.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It's only it's eighty six. By the way, eighty six.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's pretty hot, isn't it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: No freaking way, bath water, it's not even bad.
- 2:24Speaker 6: Think about it.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Your body's normal temperature is what ninety eight point seven water?
- 2:30Speaker 5: That's eighty six. It's colder than what your normal body TIMPs.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Right, true logic from the librats tomorrow. You got to
- 2:40Speaker 2: ask what's the normal body temperature? Well, you're right, You're right,
- 2:43Speaker 2: one hundred percent, right house, it was like eighty six.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So this morning I asked the pool guy to fix
- 2:47Speaker 2: it last time and he couldn't. And when I got
- 2:49Speaker 2: in this morning, I was like, it's eighty four. So
- 2:52Speaker 2: I just did my breathing. I just did my breathing,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and then I went strictly into cold plunge. Right, So
- 2:59Speaker 2: I was in the cold plunge for this morning and
- 3:00Speaker 2: I am freezing right now, Like it is just a
- 3:02Speaker 2: whole different ball game. But it's a whole different ballgame
- 3:05Speaker 2: when you don't hot tub before you come like I'm
- 3:07Speaker 2: just cold punch, and it's just so icy cold, like
- 3:10Speaker 2: my fingertips. Everything feels like I've been sitting in snow.
- 3:13Speaker 6: It's also like.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Like, I, okay, so we've been in this studio for
- 3:17Speaker 5: a long time and I've always had to have some
- 3:19Speaker 5: sort of like snow.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Jacket blanket just to stay a little bit warm.
- 3:23Speaker 5: And neither one of you have ever been cold until
- 3:26Speaker 5: you started cold plunging. And that's kind of like my
- 3:28Speaker 5: husband does the same thing. Whenever he cold plunges. He's
- 3:30Speaker 5: like it's kind of cold in the house. Right now,
- 3:32Speaker 5: I'm like, welcome to my life.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Oh my god, this is well. We're gonna say pain.
- 3:36Speaker 4: No, I was gonna say, yeah, like you cold plunge.
- 3:38Speaker 4: But also I feel like you've been getting really cold
- 3:40Speaker 4: in here, like coming to stand by the heater when
- 3:43Speaker 4: you started getting your blood removed, Like isn't that like
- 3:45Speaker 4: low Like could that be like something to do with it?
- 3:48Speaker 4: Because isn't it like if you have poor blood circulation,
- 3:51Speaker 4: you could get colder?
- 3:52Speaker 1: And worth saying that he's having his blood removed for fun,
- 3:54Speaker 1: right right?
- 3:56Speaker 4: I mean.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm not talking about like, yes, lately I been cold,
- 4:00Speaker 2: but today is different. Today is ten times more cold
- 4:03Speaker 2: than normal. You know, when you're out in the snow
- 4:05Speaker 2: and you're skiing, or you're out playing the snow and
- 4:07Speaker 2: your toes get ice, ice, ice, ice ice. That's where
- 4:09Speaker 2: I'm at right now.
- 4:10Speaker 5: That's how I feel every morning in this studio for
- 4:14Speaker 5: the last fifteen years. If you have to hear your hya,
- 4:18Speaker 5: I told I was tell Scott, I'm like, I don't
- 4:19Speaker 5: need a cold punch.
- 4:20Speaker 6: My whole life is a cold punch.
- 4:24Speaker 2: So check this out. So my wife did something nice
- 4:27Speaker 2: for me. She got me a massage yesterday and it
- 4:31Speaker 2: was at one o'clock I think was my massage. And
- 4:33Speaker 2: it was a guy, a guy named Stacy's his name
- 4:36Speaker 2: funny because your wife's names stage. It's a guy named Stacy.
- 4:39Speaker 2: He's been doing massage for thirty two years. Probably the
- 4:41Speaker 2: best massage I've ever had in my entire life. Really yeah,
- 4:45Speaker 2: this guy's unbelievable.
- 4:46Speaker 6: What made it so fantastic?
- 4:48Speaker 2: He just deep hissoe, he just moved differently. And then
- 4:51Speaker 2: I found out I was asking him how he started,
- 4:53Speaker 2: and he learned massage in South Dakota from a small school.
- 4:57Speaker 2: It was a really older, an older woman, and she
- 4:59Speaker 2: was like, you know, like very mister Miyagi, like throw
- 5:03Speaker 2: a coin in the air, two coins in the air,
- 5:05Speaker 2: and you have to grab them, catch him and be
- 5:06Speaker 2: which one's heavier. So you learn touch and you learn all.
- 5:10Speaker 2: He learned all these weird ways to do massage. Then
- 5:12Speaker 2: he went to massage school here and anyway, he's unbelievable.
- 5:14Speaker 2: But the point of what I'm getting at with the
- 5:15Speaker 2: story is that Blake was gone and I had to
- 5:19Speaker 2: meet him at the house and it was a twelve.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I thought the massage was one, but it was a
- 5:22Speaker 2: toll forty five. And I got home in time to
- 5:24Speaker 2: make some eggs, and I see him pull up, and
- 5:26Speaker 2: I got six dogs, and one of my dogs likes
- 5:28Speaker 2: to kill people, so I have to make sure that
- 5:31Speaker 2: dog's not around. So when I see him coming into
- 5:33Speaker 2: the house, I tried to get the dogs to go
- 5:35Speaker 2: into our playrooms. I lock the door, and we had
- 5:40Speaker 2: my son Jake. When I get home, he goes. The
- 5:42Speaker 2: landscapers were at the house, and so we had to
- 5:45Speaker 2: close the doggy door right because if the doggy door's open,
- 5:48Speaker 2: the dog would try to kill the landscaper. So I
- 5:52Speaker 2: tried to get and so Stacy comes in the house
- 5:54Speaker 2: with his massage table and everything, and I'm like, hey,
- 5:56Speaker 2: just go on up to the bedroom and I'll meet
- 5:58Speaker 2: you up there. So he's going up to the stairs
- 6:00Speaker 2: to the bedroom. I'm trying to rally all the dogs
- 6:02Speaker 2: and then I hear him upstairs go I'm like what
- 6:09Speaker 2: and he goes, no, it never mind. I'm like, the
- 6:12Speaker 2: heck scene, let's see what's the yelling for it? Do
- 6:14Speaker 2: you want a sandwich? I got? So I get all
- 6:18Speaker 2: the dogs rallied up. I go upstairs and there is
- 6:21Speaker 2: a like a little carpet little rug like a welcome
- 6:24Speaker 2: map we have before you go in our bedroom. I
- 6:25Speaker 2: never really noticed it before, and it's all pushed to
- 6:27Speaker 2: the side and I go, I'll go, hey, oh what happened?
- 6:30Speaker 2: He goes, well, I walked up and then I saw that.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I go, what is it? And he goes dog poop
- 6:34Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, man, I go because the dog
- 6:37Speaker 2: door was closed, so the dogs had nowhere to go,
- 6:40Speaker 2: so the dog pooped up there and I go, oh, man,
- 6:42Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm glad you didn't step, and he goes, oh,
- 6:44Speaker 2: I did step. And he took off his shoes before
- 6:48Speaker 2: he got in my house. He stepped on it in socks.
- 6:53Speaker 4: That's the worst of the worst, better than the barefoot,
- 6:57Speaker 4: because if his barefoot, it would go.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Socks should never getting back.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I stepped in it barefoot before. I've never stepped in
- 7:03Speaker 2: it in socks before. And I when I'm when I looked,
- 7:05Speaker 2: I was like, I gotta hope it's the little dog.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Open up. I unfold the welcome Matt and it is
- 7:10Speaker 2: a big dog. And I'm like, oh my god, I'm
- 7:12Speaker 2: so And I look at him and he's got one
- 7:14Speaker 2: sock on. So I'm like, oh man, he goes, can
- 7:19Speaker 2: I go into your bathroom and wash off in the sea.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I'm like, oh god, I want to wash it my saint's.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And then I'm like, here, hold on a minute, I go,
- 7:26Speaker 2: can I just give you a pair? So I go,
- 7:27Speaker 2: and I have a pair of socks that I mean,
- 7:29Speaker 2: I have a you know those socks they're all connected
- 7:31Speaker 2: with the brand new they're up. Yeah, I pull off
- 7:32Speaker 2: a pair of these socks. I go here, use these socks.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I'm this, I thirteen, right, I think he's like a seven.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So they look at pantyhose on him. So he puts
- 7:42Speaker 2: the socks on and then we start to do the
- 7:44Speaker 2: massage and he's slipping and sliding everywhere, and I'm like,
- 7:48Speaker 2: he goes, I just go barefoot. I'm like, yeah, sure, man,
- 7:50Speaker 2: sure even go barefoot. It was so embarrassing.
- 7:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So I'm like, how long you do massage? He goes,
- 7:54Speaker 2: thirty two years. I go, any chance you've stepped in
- 7:57Speaker 2: dog poop before? And He's like never, never, I never
- 8:01Speaker 2: want to come back in thirty two years and doing that.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Wow.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So every time I was getting massaged and everyone so
- 8:08Speaker 2: I would just bust out laughing and be embarrassed. I'm
- 8:11Speaker 2: so sorry. I'm so sorry. And he's got too many dogs.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You got too many dogs.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I got too many dogs. It's too many dogs, man.
- 8:18Speaker 2: And there, and I think, I don't know if I
- 8:19Speaker 2: told you guys that the two old ones we got one,
- 8:21Speaker 2: there's like fourteen when this nineteen and I'm expecting them
- 8:24Speaker 2: to pass this year. Oh that's sad, is it?
- 8:27Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 8:31Speaker 2: So Blake, Blake tells me, I just taco lego. We
- 8:34Speaker 2: took them back to the back. Guess what, they're so healthy.
- 8:36Speaker 2: They got another five years.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Like no, no, yeah, they're getting all that good dog
- 8:41Speaker 1: food in that beautiful house. Eating, doing whatever they want,
- 8:46Speaker 1: running free.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Oh man, their life. I just no more. After six dogs.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I told Blake, I'll never ever whenever these dogs move on,
- 8:53Speaker 2: never again, and She's like, I will always have a dog.
- 9:04Speaker 2: The text line you text JJR and whatever you want
- 9:07Speaker 2: to say to us to the number nine six eight
- 9:09Speaker 2: nine three. Here's a text here from five to zero number.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Every time I hear Kyle on war the roses, I'm
- 9:17Speaker 2: always super impressed at her skills to sell the roses.
- 9:20Speaker 2: She would be good at sales too. Love the show
- 9:23Speaker 2: you guys, She's right every time you says like, oh, yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 2: I got it. Of course I'll take those from us, Yes,
- 9:27Speaker 2: of course. Uh Peyton, what's the vibe for horoscopes today?
- 9:31Speaker 4: Well, I'm gonna tell each zodiac sign how you act
- 9:34Speaker 4: when you're just in a mood.
- 9:35Speaker 2: One of those days, Hi, Caitlin, what you're signing? Good morning?
- 9:38Speaker 7: Good morning?
- 9:39Speaker 3: My sign is aries aries.
- 9:41Speaker 4: When you're in a mood, you're just the explosive one.
- 9:43Speaker 4: You're mad and everyone knows it. You do not do
- 9:46Speaker 4: that whole bottling it up thing. Your anger. It gets loud,
- 9:50Speaker 4: immediate and usually includes slamming something down, and the worst
- 9:53Speaker 4: part about all of it though. You aries you're over
- 9:56Speaker 4: it in like five minutes, but everyone else around you
- 9:58Speaker 4: is like traumatized from what they just went.
- 10:01Speaker 1: That is pretty accurate.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Although I've gotten better, my cousin has kind of helped
- 10:06Speaker 4: hold me down a bit.
- 10:07Speaker 7: Hey, good good A great day you too.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Hi, Rachel, what's your son?
- 10:15Speaker 4: Hi? Good morning?
- 10:15Speaker 3: I am a Capricorn.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Okay, Capricorns. When it comes to you being just in
- 10:19Speaker 4: a mood, you're the kind of person that's just all
- 10:22Speaker 4: just work through it. Instead of dealing with your feelings,
- 10:25Speaker 4: you distract yourself with work or errands or literally anything productive.
- 10:29Speaker 4: You'd rather die than let those emotions mess up your routine.
- 10:32Speaker 4: But once that one push it that, once that one
- 10:34Speaker 4: person pushes you too far, it's over for them, you
- 10:37Speaker 4: see red.
- 10:39Speaker 7: Yep, that's true totally.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Bye, Rachel, have a great.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Day, by guys.
- 10:47Speaker 2: What's up?
- 10:48Speaker 7: What's up? Good morning?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Gemini?
- 10:52Speaker 4: All right, Gemini is when you are in a mood,
- 10:54Speaker 4: you are just the passive, aggressive roaster. You say you're fine,
- 10:58Speaker 4: but the sarcasm is through the roof. You start low
- 11:01Speaker 4: key roasting everyone in your path, and people start wondering
- 11:04Speaker 4: if they should be offended. Or scared. You're ranting to
- 11:06Speaker 4: one friend while sending ten tweets about it. Yeah, I
- 11:13Speaker 4: already know. Be careful if you're passing a Gemini, you
- 11:17Speaker 4: might catch a stray.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Hi November, Hi, good morning, No.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Taurus, you guys are this silent treatment expert when you
- 11:31Speaker 4: are in a mood, but you won't say it, like,
- 11:33Speaker 4: you're just going to be extra slow to respond. You're
- 11:36Speaker 4: going to cancel plans and suddenly you become a professional
- 11:39Speaker 4: at ignoring everybody's text. You eventually talk about it, but
- 11:41Speaker 4: only after you've treated yourself to an expensive meal and
- 11:44Speaker 4: taken a nap.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Well, that's true, that's true, Peyton.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I gotta have my nap and I gotta have my meal.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you're good.
- 11:51Speaker 7: You're back to being happy, and then I'm okay, that's
- 11:55Speaker 7: most of us, all right, Hi, Harper him all.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Right, Harper, I got you for Scorpio. So when you're
- 12:08Speaker 4: just in a bad mood, you are the one that's
- 12:11Speaker 4: secretly plotting on everyone, Like no one knows when you're
- 12:14Speaker 4: really mad until it's too late. You keep it all
- 12:16Speaker 4: bottled up. You acting normal and chill and cool, but
- 12:19Speaker 4: deep down, you're already planning your revenge, Harper, and when
- 12:22Speaker 4: you finally snap, good luck to whoever caused it.
- 12:25Speaker 3: That's so true.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Yeah, you Scorpio's your spicy h Harper.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Have a great day you too, Thank you bye, do
- 12:36Speaker 2: you ever?
- 12:36Speaker 4: Libra Libra Kyle, you're the I swear I'm fine liar.
- 12:40Speaker 4: When you're in a mood, you hate confrontation, so you're
- 12:42Speaker 4: gonna say I'm fine while low Keith throwing shade. You'll
- 12:44Speaker 4: start to act extra nice, like too nice, smiling through
- 12:47Speaker 4: the pain, being a little too agreeable. And then you
- 12:49Speaker 4: go and you call your best friend and you rank
- 12:52Speaker 4: to them about how mad you actually are.
- 12:54Speaker 5: It's probably very true.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Richie, my pices, you are the everything is personal one.
- 13:01Speaker 4: When you are upset, it's never just one thing. Suddenly
- 13:03Speaker 4: everything hurts your feelings and you're deep in your main
- 13:06Speaker 4: character moment. You low key want people to notice, but
- 13:08Speaker 4: if they actually start asking what's wrong, you'll say nothing,
- 13:11Speaker 4: and then you'll just go cry about it later.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Hard you deny.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, Leo Leo's. When we are in a mood, Leo's
- 13:19Speaker 4: we are the one where everyone needs to know everything.
- 13:22Speaker 4: We will not suffer in silence. We will text the
- 13:24Speaker 4: group chat, we will post a cryptic instant story and
- 13:27Speaker 4: we will dramatically sigh every five minutes. If nobody asks
- 13:30Speaker 4: a leo, we will bring it up ourselves because our
- 13:32Speaker 4: pain must be acknowledged. And this is so true.
- 13:35Speaker 1: That is.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Everybody's gonna hear me out.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Payton's coming to me with problems before I feel like I
- 13:41Speaker 1: give you the solution. Then I'm like, why did you
- 13:42Speaker 1: tell everybody else about your problem? But we gotta fix
- 13:44Speaker 1: I know.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I love cryptic posts on Twitter and stuff where you
- 13:47Speaker 2: treat you like, oh, what's going on with that? You
- 13:51Speaker 2: know what it's like when it's uh good news, like
- 13:54Speaker 2: when someone will be like big things coming. Yeah, okay.
- 13:59Speaker 4: How about Virgo Virgos, you are the overthinker. When you
- 14:01Speaker 4: are in a mood, you get mad, but instead of
- 14:03Speaker 4: expressing it, you make a mental list of everything that
- 14:06Speaker 4: has ever annoyed you about that person. You replay conversations
- 14:09Speaker 4: word for word, You overanalyze every little thing, and you
- 14:12Speaker 4: consider sending that paragraph text, but instead you just go silent.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Not even if we need to get to your sign there.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I'll post on our website at Johnjenriched dot com. It's
- 14:26Speaker 2: John J.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And rich.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I saw this thing about what's allowed on a plane,
- 14:35Speaker 2: what's not allowed on a plane, and then uh did
- 14:38Speaker 2: it change? Well, somebody was trying to bring well, I
- 14:42Speaker 2: don't want to tell you, well somebody you know what
- 14:43Speaker 2: a botch you ball is.
- 14:45Speaker 6: It's isn't it just like a really heavy little ball?
- 14:49Speaker 2: Yeah? And they weren't allowed to bring it on a.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Plane because it could be a weapon.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Right, So I have a list, a little quiz. I

- 24:16Speaker 1: Explain it like they know nothing, because the moment that
- 24:19Speaker 1: you can teach it, you actually understand it. If you
- 24:22Speaker 1: can't explain it yet, then you don't know it yet.
- 24:24Speaker 1: That is the hack. Learn it like you're going to
- 24:26Speaker 1: teach it to somebody for the first time. Then you
- 24:28Speaker 1: know your material. That hack, and many more can be
