- Josh DeMage: Welcome back to Triple Office Sports Talk. I'm Josh. It's Bryson Roy over there somewhere. NFL Week one is back. College football. Baseball's in. We're in the full swing. it's as busy of a schedule as we're gonna have in the podcast world again. We're gonna jump right into it. I'm gonna rip through the scores of week one and then we can talk about some of the games. first off, Wednesday night, Super Bowl, former Super Bowl champions hoping at home. Seattle plays the Patriots in a rematch of the Super Bowl. Ugly game. Darnold out. It's what? Second, third play. doesn't come back. Brice: That's why. Josh DeMage: Seahawks come back and win 13-10. then the next day in Australia, the Rams play the Niners, and the Niners really beats shit out of the entire night. 27-7. Then we take it to Sunday in the noonslate. Lions at home going to overtime. They do sneak out with a win over the Saints 31-30. Bengals 33 over the Buccaneers 27. the Ravens go into Indy and run all over the Colts. 41-23. Henry has three touchdowns. The Jaguars just dismantle the Browns 34-10. Jets go into Tennessee and get a win 23-10. Bills, Texans, one of the better games of the week. back and forth. Bills squeak it out 36-31. Steelers take care of the fourth string quarterback, Falcons, 20-13. Bears put up ungodly offensive numbers in a shootout 59 to 37 in Carolina. Minnesota beats Green Bay with a fourth quarter frenzy of points. 39-22. Raiders take care of the Dolphins 27-13. Kirko James. Chargers, stunner of the week, right here. Chargers just look awful. They lose twenty six to fourteen to Arizona. Eagles win a close one against the Commanders. I told you it's always close with those two teams. I don't know why. then Sunday night football. Giants really the score's closer than what the game really was. The Giants win at home twenty eight to twenty. And then last night, Monday night, the Chiefs play the Broncos, and it really wasn't close either. It was Kenneth Walker show. thirty one to ten, Chiefs win. before we jump into our games of what we want, I'm gonna go over the picture quick. You guys both tied third and second, nine and seven. we missed a lot of the same games. We all missed four of the same games, other than that it was sprinkled in. I lied five. You're a lot right, you're right, I missed it. Five. And that was the only five I lost. You guys both had two sprinkled in somewhere else. You guys are nine and seven and I go eleven and five and obviously that's our record for NFL so far 'cause it's week one. all right, games. I don't either one of you want to go first and talk about a certain game. Roy: I don't really have a game. My thing is look at the scores. def there was no defense all fucking weekend. I don't know if it's because of the way they do train the in the new way they're doing training camp. They're just not letting they're not letting them hit. They're not they're they're not playing much. But I mean it was offense, offense, offense all all weekend. You didn't see much defense if it it was a lot of turnovers. in the few games I got to watch. but the de there was no defense anywhere up and down the the league and so it it just it it just I just surpr surprised. Some teams that you know that traditionally have good defenses, like Houston, like the even the Broncos, couldn't stop anybody and so it just it just it just surprises me, shocked me about how little of defense there was for the for the first weekend. And it set a record, I think is what I read at for an opening weekend most most touchdowns s most points in a scored in a an N F L weekend or whatever for for for a Brice: Well, and in an NFO game, the the Bears Panthers game was the most points ever scored in the first first game of the year. Yeah. Roy: Yeah, but I think for the whole weekend I think it it was the most Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: points of of the whole squ the whole weekend by i by all the games combined. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Bryce, you got anything? Brice: I'm not gonna harp on how much I hate overseas games too much. It's ridiculous. I mean, there's plenty of studies showing like even just traveling, New England playing like the Chargers. New England is statistically gonna play worse because they're in a three hour time zone and they're three hours ahead of what they're actually playing. Whenever they're starting at seven, it's ten o'clock for them. They won't get over 'til it's one AM for them. Now you're sending them sixteen hour flight. It's noon for them or whatever, but it's like I It's just ridiculous. You got a forty year old quarterback getting off a sixteen hour flight and then playing like dog shit. So one thing I wanna say is that I wouldn't count the Rams out. I know they look terrible. I still think they're gonna be one of the best teams in the league. I just Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: don't think that you can take a week one in another country around the world as that's how this team's gonna play. I think next week they'll come out and probably put up forty points. That offense will be clicking. Roy: Did you s did you see that they landed twenty six hours before they played the game? I mean who I mean the Forty Niners at least were there for a couple of days. Josh DeMage: Yeah, that was Brice: Yeah. They thought it was gonna be smart. Josh DeMage: they were there for like seven days. They were there for like week. Yeah. Well it it was too drastic. Yeah. Brice: we yeah. Roy: The seven days. Yeah. And then the the Rams show up twenty six hours before the game time. Josh DeMage: It was too it was so drastic both ways. Like it was either gonna whoever won, it was gonna be look like a genius. Like if the Rams would have won that game a Roy: Well, 'cause the ra the r the r 'cause according to the Rams they sent some some study guy over and did a study Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: for him that said this this was the best Brice: Yeah. Roy: way. Well that guy should Josh DeMage: Well, if the Rams would have won this game, everyone would have been like, Well, why'd the forty niners go a week early and just stay there when they could have just flown in a couple hours, you know. So it I I agree though, I think, you know, forty eight hours is little ridiculous, but you know, two or three days, sure. But like I a week, I mean I I don't know. I mean I don't have a whole lot. I mean, I look at some games like the Lions. I didn't think the Lions looked great. I mean the Saints to me are really bad. And they r I mean they had beat. They went for two. You know, they sh this game could have went overtime. Jets impressed me a little bit. I I I'm not I don't think a whole lot of the Titans either, but still, I mean they they pretty much dominate the game for the most part, both sides. so I was impressed by that. Mm, Chargers again, week one. You know, I I'm not saying the Chargers are gonna have a bad season. Could the Chargers make the playoffs? Yes. But man, Roy: Mike McDaniels did not look called a good game at all. Josh DeMage: yeah, they just did not look good. And both the primetime games late, Sunday and Monday. I didn't think the Cowboys defense looked good. And not being biased, maybe the first game I've ever watched where a team got two possessions in the second half and scored touchdowns on both of them and lost. Kind of a wild Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: like you don't see that very often. But that should tell you how good the Giants nah I shouldn't say game plan, but like execution was. Brice: I love the way they play football. They do what they want to do the whole game and control the pace of the game the entire time. Josh DeMage: Yeah. and then, you know, the other, the Monday night game. Again, week one rust. Like again, I agree with you, Roy. I think it's because of the way they practice now. Defenses just they're not ready. They just weren't. Because they're not hitting. They just don't want the injuries. I get that point of view, but like, yeah, it shows. Man, did that Broncos offense look horrific. Again, are they gonna be better next week? I'm sure. But good lord, d Roy: Lot of drop passes. But Nick's didn't look good either. Josh DeMage: And Bo Nicks, I have all the confidence world, he'll bounce back. Horrific game. Just he played horrific. but again, it's week one. It's not time to panic in it in any way, you know. but the team of the week for me, I'll just say this. Thought the Bengals looked really good. That defense has always been their problem. They can always score. Created turnovers. Again, the Bucs play a little bit of a, you know, riskier offense, I'll call it with Baker. But man, that if that Bengals defense can play defense. gonna be a tough team to beat. and obviously the Bears. 'cause we all talked about how Carolina is at least a good defensive team. I mean they just got throttled at all times. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: it was really the run game, even when with Williams running, just ran down the throats all night. But yeah, other than that, I don't have a whole lot. Yeah. I think that's it for NFL. Roy: Picks. Picks for next week. Josh DeMage: Yep. week two picks. I did not do that. I did not think about that. I have things here. I Brice: I'll fill it as we go. Josh DeMage: Okay. Yeah, I'll r I'll go. Thursday night football. The Lions will go to Roy: Yeah. Josh DeMage: the new Buffalo Bill Stadium, the opener of the stadium. Now they played preseason in there, but still. I'm excited. I'm I'm Brice: I didn't they had. Josh DeMage: cu I'm excited to see the stadium. Roy: Yep, we went by there when we went in New York. It was actually pretty cool. Josh DeMage: Yeah, I've heard it's r you know, it's supposed to be gorgeous. I'll go first. I'm gonna take the Bills. I I think the Lions could win this game. This is a very awesome game to get early in the season. and it's not cold yet. I think that plays in the fact that the or helps the Lions because you know, I don't think they play well outdoors for the most part. But they just did they didn't look great week one and Bills looked like they were firing all cylinders offensively. I'll take the Bills. Brice: I would've taken the Bills too though. I thought the Lions defense didn't look very good at all. I mean, most teams didn't, but the Lions especially and the Bills I think Josh Allen's gonna put up a lot of points against them. Roy: i b Josh Allen's he's just so good. you got the Bills. And DJ Moore looked really, really good with with Josh Allen. Josh DeMage: Next one takes us to the noon slate. only Thursday, just kinda kinda on normal schedule for this week. Bengals will go to Houston. Ooh, that's also a really good game. Roy, I'll let you go first on that one. Roy: b I'm gonna take let's see, hold on. Houston's clear down there. Josh DeMage: Bengals at Texans. Roy: Ooh. Houston two and a half. I am going to take Gosh man. That's a tough one. I'm gonna take t the Texans in this one. Josh DeMage: Mm. Brice. Brice: I'm actually gonna take the Bengals. I I do think that the Texans are a good team. I don't think their defense played very good against Josh Allen. Again Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: it's Josh Allen, but the Bengals I would say all around have a better offense than the Bills do. Josh DeMage: Yeah. This one's a coin flip for me. I'll take the Texans based off I hope I think d D'Amico Rhines is a better coach than the Bengals coach, and I expect him to have that defense ready to play a little bit better. I'll take the Texans at home. next one. Packers go to the Jets. I'll take the Packers, even though I didn't think they looked very good. I think they're better than the Jets. Brice: Yeah. Roy: Packers. Josh DeMage: Next one, Saints at Ravens. I'll go first again. I don't think this one should be close, so I'll take the Ravens. Brice: Yep. Roy: Ravens. Josh DeMage: Next one, Eagles, Titans. I'll go first again, I'll take the Eagles. Roy: Well there's some bad matchups. Eagles. Josh DeMage: Well, the first Brice: Yeah, there is. Josh DeMage: two were really good. Yeah, we got some stinkers here. Brice: I agree. Josh DeMage: next one. This one's back to being a good one. Vikings will go to Chicago to play the Bears. Bryce, I'll let you go first. Brice: I am taking my bears. I think our offense is gonna be unstoppable. Josh DeMage: I'll go next. I I'm worried about the quarterback situation, even though I'll tell you what, Justin Jefferson played so good last week against the Packers. I just don't trust the quarterback situation right now. I'll take the Bears. Roy: I that Viking defense. I'm gonna take the Vikings. I thought they ran the ball well. They put up some points. And Carson Wentz didn't Josh DeMage: Next one. Yeah, I thought the Vikings looked really good, even with Roy: actually look too bad. Brice: I mean Josh DeMage: He did not Brice: yeah, the Packers I think they more blew that game than the Vikings won it. That's like their six three loss now. Josh DeMage: I agree. Well, it was like a snowball. Roy: I agree, but I thought that Minnesota actually moved the ball decently. Josh DeMage: Yeah. I mean Justin Jefferson was out there making some great catches. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: next one, Browns go to the Bucks. I don't think this close. I'll take the Bucs. Next one, Steelers go to the Patriots. Ooh, I think that one could be a good game. Bryce, I'll let you go first on this one. Okay, go ahead, Roy. Roy: I say p I'm taking pats. Josh DeMage: Yeah, I'm gonna take the upset, I'm gonna take the Steelers on the Road. Brice: I actually am as well. I don't think this I don't think the Steelers look very good and I think or the Patriots look very good and I think they're gonna have a lot of issues with that Steelers defense. Josh DeMage: One thing I do think this the p will help the Patriots is they played so early in the week on Wednesday, they had a lot of time to prep prepare for this game. but still I'll take Next one Panthers go to the Falcons. I'll go first on this one. I'm gonna take the Panthers on the road to beat the Falcons. Brice: I'm in agreement with you actually. I I took the Falcons last week and their offense played well, but I think the Panthers defense will slow down a little bit and the Panthers actually looked pretty good on offense even though the Bears were giving up everything. T or Bryce Young actually looked like calm this year and was making some good plays. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Starting to get some weapons w there. He's always never had Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: anything. Roy: Yeah, I'll go Panthers too. I d I think Falcons got kinda lucky with Cooper Rush as their quarterback. Josh DeMage: Cowboys legend. next one. Raiders go to LA to play the Chargers. I'll I expect the Chargers to bounce back in a little bit. I'll take the Chargers. Brice: I agree, but I I do think this game could be fun. Josh DeMage: Even though the I tell you what, I don't think the Raiders looked as Roy: I agree. Josh DeMage: bad as people thought. Ash and Genty played really well. Man, Brice: Yeah, you've got. Josh DeMage: he was good, but. Roy: I'll go t I'll go chargers too. Brice: I'm going Chargers but I think this game could be close. I I don't like the the coaching setup on the Chargers. I don't think J Harbaugh McDaniel go well together. It's two completely different styles of offense. And they don't have the O line to run what Mike McDaniel wants or John Harbaugh wants. Josh DeMage: Next one. This wasn't a good one. This one was a banger of a game last year. Hopefully it's just as good. Jaguars go to Denver. Play the Broncos. I'll go first on this one. Tell you what, the Jags looked real good last week. I know they played the Browns. I understand. Broncos looked real bad. I gotta envision the Broncos and Sean Payton are just gonna hound it. I'm gonna take the Broncos at home. Brice: I'm going with Denver too. I think they're gonna have a huge bounce back game, you're gonna see that defense play very well. Roy: I agree. I I think the Jags are good but I th and it'll be close but I think Denver's gonna take it. Josh DeMage: Yeah. next one, Commanders go to Dallas, play the Cowboys. I'll go first. Expect the Cowboys defense to bounce back a little bit and I still am underwhelmed with the Commanders offense. I'll take the Cowboys. Brice: I agree, the Cowboys they were missing so many easy shots there at the beginning of the game li last week in the first half. I think if they connect on a few of those like pickings, drops and stuff, then they probably win that game. Josh DeMage: next one, Dolphins go to the Niners. I'll take the Niners. Roy: Niners. Josh DeMage: And then Seahawks go to the Cardinals. I just cannot take the Seahawks or the Cardinals over the Seahawks, even without Sam Darnold. I'll take the Seahawks. Roy: Seahawks. Brice: Who was it? Josh DeMage: Seahawks and Cardinals. Brice: I'll take the Seahawks. Josh DeMage: Alright, to Sunday night football. Ooh, another primetime game for these guys. Colts go to Kansas City, play the Chiefs. I'll be honest, I thought the Chiefs looked excellent last night. Excellent. Mahomes didn't play his greatest, but man, that run game was good and that defense was good. I'll take the Chiefs. Roy: I agree, I was surprised how good they were, so I'll take the Chiefs. Brice: let me see. I don't know who I'm gonna take in this one. Who I'll take the cheese. Josh DeMage: And then lastly, another two teams that have both played primetime games. Giants go to LA for Monday night football to play the Rams. I will go first on this one. I expect Matthew Stafford to lock back in after a pretty terrible week out in Australia. And I thought the Giants offense played really well against Dallas. I still think their secondary is horrific. I expect the Rams to throw it all over on them, and I expect the Rams to win this one, even without Miles Garrett. Aaron Donald debut again, I expect. Brice: Yeah, I I think the Rams will Roy: Good, bro. Brice: win as well. I think you're seeing a huge bounce back game and they're gonna put up a lot of points even though I love this Giants this Giants team might be my new like Buccaneers team for the past few years. I'm gonna be picking them a lot. Roy: gonna go Giants. I think they've got a team that's got gonna disrupt some teams. I I think they got they're gonna be hot here early. So I'm gonna take the Giants. Josh DeMage: Okay. And then I think that's it. On to college football. Ooh, baby. Good lord. Brice: That's good. Roy: All right. College football, what a week what a weekend. I don't know if you got to watch some some big time games. some highlights of the games. Ohio State, Texas. I don't know if you guys got to see that game. You you Buckeye fans, Brice: That's the only game I watched. Josh DeMage: Golly. Roy: sorry. You lose twenty four twenty three on a l giving a touchdown with twenty four seconds left. What would you hey question for you guys about this game. I don't know if you guys got to watch it. Brice: That's the only game I watched Roy: You're Brice: this week. Roy: Alright, so you're up. Alright. You were up what twenty three seventeen going in going down and they're driving. Do you give a touchdown so you have some time left? Or do you do what Ryan Day did? And try to and try to keep him from scoring. Josh DeMage: The way Ohio State's defense has been the last few years, I understand why, but I mean yeah. Roy: But your offense I mean is supposed to I mean with Jeremiah Smith and everything, you had chance that Brice: Yeah, but they got shut out for like the whole fourth quarter, didn't they? Roy: Well, they moved the ball, they just missed a field goal, they just I mean there was some Brice: Yeah. Roy: t they they couldn't run the ball. That was their problem. But if you they could p they could pass the ball. I don't know, that was just my question. Brice: I never any sport, in my opinion, you play to win and like I'm gonna trust my defense in that situation like Ryan Day did. I just don't I just don't I don't know. It's a tough call, but I don't think there's any way that you expect to drive down the field in a minute and score a touchdown to tie a game. Yeah. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Well, and I maybe Roy: Well you only need a field goal to win, that's why Josh DeMage: play that kicker stuff played into that thought. You know what I mean? You know, he's already missed one. Roy: So I would I would have done it. I would have probably let him score. All right. So some upsets. Oregon getting beat by Oklahoma State 39 31. LSU just whips the crap out of Louisiana State 45 14. Michigan after a week one surprise. Looked actually look good. Beat Oklahoma 17 10. defense looked really good. Josh DeMage: They did. I was impressed with the defense. Yeah, Roy: Alabama, Josh DeMage: that was Roy: who had some troubles with Kentucky for most of the game, but then ended up winning 45-17 to a big fourth quarter. Tennessee won 45-24 against Georgia Tech, which was closer than what you think. Iowa squeaks out. A 16-13 win against Iowa State. That's a typical Iowa State-Iowa game. my god, that game is always Josh DeMage: I was gonna say that's what they do. That's a that's a that's like a ten point win for most teams, so Roy: I know that is like ridiculous. Every game is like that between us two. let's see. other games. Mississippi State. Duke beats Illinois. Illinois's defense. They gotta figure something out. Josh DeMage: No, they're horrific. Roy: just that didn't look very good. Some of our pick games. Let me get to that. we all miss Texas State be got beat by U UTSA. I got Texas, you guys had Ohio State. we all had Wake Forest. Mississippi State. Josh and I had, you had Minnesota, Bra Bryce, you lost that. I had North Texas, you guys had Un L V. North Texas won pretty handily. We all had Army. Army bar was down big and then came back, but they lost. Brice: Weren't they a crazy favorite too? Roy: they were. They were supposed to. No, they seven point favorites and lost. Miss Memphis got beat by Boise State. Josh and I had Ms. Boise State. Air Force. They were supposed to win or they were de they they had they had the they didn't even come close. And they came they came back but got beat. And then we all had Tennessee. We all had Illinois and we lost. You guys had Oklahoma. I had Michigan, I won. So pick wise, I finished seven and four this week. Josh, you finished four and seven. And then Bryce, sorry man, you went two and nine in that. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: I'm gonna be honest. I think two and nine might be the worst score w any of us have had in four years of doing any sport. Like I I can we've been five hundred, you know, four and seven. Brice: I was thinking the same thing. But Roy: It was But hey, I will get I bet th the the games I'm picking right now, it's and even this week, they're one and a half point favorites, they're three and a half point f I'm they're close games. I'm not going with these big wide margins. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Still two and nine, I don't know if any of us have ever done that, so that's yeah, that's Brice: Well, Roy: I'm gonna go with the top Brice: I'm the guy who didn't have to eat thirty six waffles last year, so I'm coming back. Josh DeMage: That's very true. Roy: Yeah, true. All right, so I'm gonna go to top twelve right now. We got Texas now number one, Georgia two. They're looking really good. Notre Dame three, Indiana four, Miami five, Ohio State falls to six, LSU seven, Mississippi eight, Texas AM nine, Alabama ten, BYU eleven, and USC is twelve, Tennessee is fifteen, and Michigan is nineteen. You guys got anything for about college football before we do the picks? Josh DeMage: No I'll tell you what though I know Texas beat Ohio State. Texas needed that win so bad. Roy: hell yeah they did. Josh DeMage: If Texas would have lost that game, I tell you what, their season might have been over, basically. Not over, but going into SEC play with a loss, you know, you're probably gonna lose one in the SEC for sure. Maybe a second one. Again, I don't know Texas's schedule. I don't know if they play Georgia. I don't know if they play, you know, some of those schools, but. Just the flip to now have no losses going through and of a beating a team like that, that's that can just s I mean, it's a total flip of a season. So good for Texas. I mean good for them to get the win. So Roy: Yeah, the only the only thing I gotta say I mean Texas, I agree. Oregon, the team I thought was gonna win the Big Ten. I thought they were a final four team. I mean they're you know, the Dante Moore Josh DeMage: Yep. Roy: looked like a first round draft pick. Josh DeMage: He would have been the number two overall pick to the Jets if he declared and he said no. And he is a borderline third round pick right now. Roy: last year. And he is he is terrible this year. They're l and they spent twenty eight million dollars on transfers this last year. And they do Josh DeMage: You know Roy: not look they look terrible. I mean their offensive Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: line looks terrible. Their defensive, I mean they can't stop anybody. and they're and Dante Josh DeMage: Yeah. It Roy: Moore is missing receivers. I just can't believe it. It's just it's shocking. And they may pick I mean Josh DeMage: Yeah. It blows my mind. Roy: They may they may ch it may get pick it up, Dan Lanning may get things going. I mean he's Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: got two new new coordinators. Both his coordinators got new jobs. He's got a new offense and defense coordinator. Maybe that's what it is. But Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: man, man, I did not see that coming whatsoever. Josh DeMage: I'll tell you what though, to to decline to go the draft as a lock to go number two overall, I mean, I'm gonna be honest. Gotta be the stupidest thing I've ever heard, ever. I mean, Roy: Yep. I agree. Josh DeMage: okay, even if you truly thought, you know what, I'm not gonna go because I'm gonna go number one next year, what the hell does that make money difference? Or p you know. I just don't Brice: And this is a big class still. Like this is a good class. Josh DeMage: get it. I I just don't get it. Roy: Yeah. I don't it's yeah, he's I don't know. Yeah and Josh DeMage: I mean I know that he makes money in college, but like Yeah, I don't All right, let's go to our picks. Roy: Yeah. Nope. Alright. Any other anything else? Alright, first game Josh DeMage: hold on, hold on. Before we go, since those were our college football picks and our record, on overall for college football, Roy leads at twenty and eight. I'm three games back, 17 and 11, and Bryce is two games back of me, five of Roy, 15 and 13. So our overall football score, week zero, week one, week two, and week one of NFL, comes as, which this is the real tally. Roy in first place. He is 29 and 15. One game back is me. 28 and 16. And I'm gonna go off first place, because for our bet, it only matters if you come in first. Rice is five games back, twenty-four and twenty college football. I mean, just put an axe in you for you know this. But yep. so that's our I wanna go over our total Roy: Yeah. Josh DeMage: scores before we move on. So go alright. Roy: Well we and we got a lot of football left. That's the bad Josh DeMage: yeah. Roy: thing. my god. This is early. Alright. So we we're at week three. Josh DeMage: That that's not a bad thing to have a lot of football left. Roy: no, I can't wait. So alright, week three. This is kind of a down week, but I made these are all the games. I think they're all besides our three teams that we we have. I think every one of these are three and a half or better less, okay? So the first game is North Carolina versus Clemson. Josh DeMage: I'll go first. I'm gonna take Roy: And what's the line? Josh DeMage: I'm gonna take Clemson at home. Clemson is three and a half point favorites at home. Roy: And three point half favorite home. Brice: I will take Clemson as well. UNC quarterbacks have done me wrong in the past. Roy: They didn't look too bad last week. UNC didn't look that bad. Josh DeMage: Just take Bill. Roy: I I'm gonna take Dabo over Bill. I'm gonna take Clemson. I can't Josh DeMage: no Roy: take Bill. Bill is not a college football coach. He just Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: isn't. Alright. Next one. Brice: Dang college girls though. Josh DeMage: Yep. Roy: Well she's jazz. Colorado versus Northwestern. Josh DeMage: Colorado probably Roy: I think this Josh DeMage: plays northwestern. Roy: Yeah. Brice: I don't even need a line. Give me Northwestern. I don't know if you guys saw the hype up speech Josh DeMage: See, I think the opposite. Brice: that Colorado had some WMBA player or something give. I don't think I'll ever pick them if you have them on here. Josh DeMage: Where's Colorado? I got it. Brice: That got me fired up to call out a Roy: Fine. Josh DeMage: Northw really? Northwestern is three and a half point favorites at home. Roy: It's It's in their new stadium, isn't it? Josh DeMage: Is it open? Roy: I think it this is their first game h at their new stadium. Josh DeMage: I did not know that. I might watch I might turn that on just to see no, I won't I write, I'm not in town this way. Roy: I am gonna go Josh DeMage: No it is not. Roy: Where's it at? Josh DeMage: It's at the field they've been playing at. Roy: Okay. I am going to go Colorado. They're two and right? And Northwestern's two and Brice: You gotta go watch that hype up speech, right? Josh DeMage: Northwestern University's new Ryan Field will open Friday, October second, twenty twenty six. So it's gonna open this year, just not this game. Roy: Couldn't remember when it was. Josh DeMage: US if Colorado was undefeated. Colorado Roy: Well I'm looking right now 'cause you're Josh DeMage: is two and with wins over Georgia Tech and Weber State. Roy: I'm gonna take a look Josh DeMage: I am also gonna take Colorado on the road to win. Roy: Taking Colorado. Brice: You guys must have not watched that pump up speech. Roy: I did not, so Brice: It's bad. Josh, you saw it, didn't you? Josh. Roy: Alright I did not. Alright, next one Virginia Tech versus Maryland. Josh DeMage: Virginia Tech I love Virginia Tech's entrance. My favorite in college football. Roy: Virginia Tech is minus three. Josh DeMage: Who do they play in? Brice: Maryland. Roy: Maryland. I'm gonna take Virginia Tech. Josh DeMage: it's right here. Yeah, I'm taking Virginia Tech as well. Virginia Tech is three in a three point favorites. Roy: Next one, Wyoming versus Central Michigan. Josh DeMage: Wyoming at central Michigan. Central Michigan is one and a half point favorites. Brice: Give me central. Roy: Give me central. Josh DeMage: Give me Wyoming. Brice: Next game is SMU Roy: All right. Brice: versus L S U or Louisie Louisville. Josh DeMage: What's the game? Roy: What SMU versus Louisville. I think it's SMU one and a half, right? Josh DeMage: SMU number sixteen team of the country at number twenty three Louisville. Louisville is one and a half point favorites. I will go first on go. Roy: Gimme L go ahead. Josh DeMage: I will take SMU on the road. Roy: I'm taking Louisville. I think Louisville looks pretty good. Brice: I'm thinking not a bit. Next game is Florida versus Auburn. Roy: Hey, change mind, Bryce, to Louisville. You me as SMU. Brice: shit, my man. Josh DeMage: Florida and Roy: Florida versus Auburn, yeah. Josh DeMage: is it at Auburn? Brice: Yeah. Roy: yeah. Josh DeMage: Florida at Auburn, Florida is two and a half point favorites. Brice: I will take the Gators. Josh DeMage: Really? Who'd you take Bryce? Brice: Florida. Roy: gonna take who you take him, Josh? Josh DeMage: Yeah. I'm taking Florida. Roy: I'm going Auburn. I'm going the Tigers. Brice: Man, I hope we get some games back on Roy this week. Roy: You only got what, two different of me? Josh DeMage: I feel like you guys have had a lot of the same. Roy: And then Brice: Next game is LSU versus Ole Miss. Josh DeMage: one that's a ballgame. Wow. At Ole Miss, man. Roy: Lane Kiffin back with his old team. That old miss, man. my god, this is I mean, the prime game. I can't I I hope they throw shit at him. That'd be the whole the most the the best thing ever if they throw shit at him. Josh DeMage: God, that's gonna be their Super Bowl for Old Miss. I hate games like that because I just know they're gonna play better Roy: Lot of emotion. Josh DeMage: than they are because it's their Super Bowl. Like if Old Miss Brice: Give me all that. Josh DeMage: could win one game all year and lose everyone, this is the one they wanna win. It's their Super Bowl. Brice: Give me old Roy: I Brice: mess. Roy: I I agree with you, Bryce. I'm going old miss. At home, I think I think they'll do it. Trinidad Chambliss ch will be Tr Chambless Trinidad will just freaking go on b blistic. Josh DeMage: Give me Lane Kiffin to wax old miss and make the right decision. I'm Roy: my gosh. Josh DeMage: taking L S U. Brice: Then the next game is Tennessee versus Kennesaw State. Josh DeMage: Tennessee. Roy: Tennessee. Brice: Yep. Then Illinois versus is that Southern Illinois? Josh DeMage: Yep. Roy: Yep. Josh DeMage: S I U C Roy: Illinois. Brice: I will take Illinois as well. And then Michigan versus UTEP. Josh DeMage: I'll take Michigan. Roy: Michigan. Brice: Two. Roy: Alright. We got Josh DeMage: Right. Roy: we only have what? one Two, three, four different games. Bryce, you and I only have one two different. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: And Josh, you and I have two different Brice: Sounds I'm getting too bad. Josh DeMage: Only two? Roy: We have Ye Josh DeMage: No, we have like five. Roy: No we don't. We have Josh DeMage: LSU, Florida, SMU, Wyoming, those ones. One, two, three, we have four different. Roy: Wyoming four different. I'm looking at you and Bryce. So you and Bryce have four different. And I have four we have four. You have three different, I have four different. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: Me and Bryce have one, two, three, four. Yeah, me and Bryce have four. I have the most different of you guys. You I felt like you guys Roy: So yeah. Josh DeMage: were pretty close. Well, how many do you guys have different? One? Two. Roy: So we have two. Josh DeMage: Yeah, you guys were really close. I'm the one that's much different. Roy: so we can pick up a lot of just put put Josh out of his misery early. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: Or I can just put you guys to bed. Roy: Yeah, you don't sh you know shit about football. Alright, Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: that's college football. Loving it. On to baseball. Josh DeMage: On to baseball. We are going to go over baseball today. Teams have started to clinch since we last done. The first team to clinch in. Actually, I don't know what the first team was. I'm just going to clinch. I know the American League. I don't know about the National Brice: I think the brewers were Josh DeMage: League. Roy: Yeah. Josh DeMage: Brewers have clinched. Again, only playoffs. No team has clinched a division yet. Brewers have clinched playoffs. The Dodgers have clinched playoffs. There's the only two teams in the National Brice: Brewers Cliff Division. Josh DeMage: League. What's that? Brice: Brewer's Clint's division. They're ten up. Josh DeMage: I know, but I think there's 11 games left, so I think that's technically why. On my yeah, mine just has an X, and that's only playoffs. I mean, Brice: okay. Josh DeMage: yeah, they're going to win. Rays have clinched playoff spot, and the Yankees have clinched playing spots. Only four teams. I'm gonna go over the standings real quick. Rays lead the American League East 91-59. Four games back is the New York Yankees, 87 and 63. Boston, nine back of the Rays. Excuse me, eighty-two and sixty-eight. Toronto, one I'm gonna go to the wild card for these two team for the rest. Toronto, seventy-five and seventy-six, they're one game out of a wild card, and the Orioles are seventy-three and seventy eight, they're three games out of the wild card. The White Sox, who are watching their lead slip away, are seventy seven and seventy three. They still lead the division. The Cleveland Guardians are 76 and 75. They're one and a half back after hitting a walk-off in the bottom of the ninth against White Sox tonight. Detroit, 71 and 79. They are six games out of the wild card. Twins, 70 and 80, 7 games out of the wild card. By the way, the twins bought. Just remember that. And then the Twins, or the Royals, 66 and 84, they're out. Out west, Astros 75 and 75, they lead the division. The Rangers, 74 and 76, they're one game back of the division, one and a half game back of the wild card. Mariners, 70 and 81, they're five and a half back, six out of the wild card. And the Athletics and Angels are way out of it. The National League. The Braves, 88 and 63, they're four and a half games over the Phillies. Roy: Hey, hold on, hold on. How many games did you say the Braves were gonna win this year? Josh DeMage: I lost the bet. It's it was eighty seven. Roy: And would you you said under eighty seven, right? Josh DeMage: I said under eighty seven. Yep. Brice: Well they're about to win right now too, so Roy: Well they're over eighty eight, so Josh DeMage: Well, I mean, I'm just saying if they didn't win fucking twenty of their first twenty two, they wouldn't have done Roy: Ha ha ha. Josh DeMage: it. Just had a Hawks, crazy hot start. they've not been good the last three months, really. Phillies, four and a half back of the Braves, one game into the wild card, eighty three and sixty seven, Marlins, nationals, and Mets are all out of it. Not gonna go over them. Central Brewers best record in the sport 93 and 57. Cubs will clinch the spot probably tonight or tomorrow. 84 and 67. They're they're out of the division, the other nine and a half back. They're in the wild card by one and a half games. pirates, cardinals, and reds, all out of it. Out west, Dodgers, 92 and 59. Pod Grays, 82 and 68. Division's over. This haven't clinched yet. They are in the wild card as the last wild card team. And the Arizona Diamondbacks are 80 and 71. Man, have they been good the last two months of the season? They are 12 games back to the division, but they're two and a half back of the wild card. So that's it. So we're gonna jump into the wild card stuff real quick. Out in the American League, the Yankee and the Red Sox will be the two wildcard teams. They're gonna play each other. Winner's gonna play the race. That is basically locked in stone. unless something happens the last week of the season. The Guardians hold the last AL wildcard spot with a chance to switch with the White Sox. They could. Toronto's a game and a half back. The Rangers are two games back, and Baltimore's three and a half. I don't think any other team has a shot. Next team is Detroit with five. I just get yeah, I just don't it would Roy: Ten games left, no. That'd be too tough. Josh DeMage: it would have to take perfect perfection and another team to play so and a bunch of teams to play to have. Roy: You gotta jump too many teams. Josh DeMage: Yeah. So I would say it's between the Guardians slash White Sox, whoever doesn't win the division. I would say the White Sox are probably gonna hold on, though. Guardians, Jays, Rangers, Orioles. So I'm gonna stop there. What do you guys think will happen about? With that this last wild card spot for the American League. Brice: I don't think the White Sox are gonna make the playoffs. Josh DeMage: You don't think the White Sox are gonna make the playoffs? Okay. Roy: So you think they're gonna lose and Cleveland will get in and then one of these other teams will get into it? Brice: Yep, and then Blue Jays will get in as well. Roy: I could see that. Cleveland's been on a tear. I just wish I knew it I was gonna say who I wish I knew who they had left to play. Josh DeMage: The White Sox have, I want to look at their schedule. I'll tell you. They've got one more against the Guardians. It's the rubber match. They won the first game against the Guardians. They lost tonight. Then they play four games. I need to see if this is home or away. They have a four game set at home against the Tigers. Three games in Kansas City, and then three games at home against the Rockies. I don't see a world where they don't get in. Brice: Yeah, that that's a terrible schedule. Roy: So I will say they'll get in then. Brice: Yeah, probably. Josh DeMage: I personally think they're gonna win the division because Cleveland, Brice: Yeah. Roy: Cleveland has the A's, Boston at Boston and and and at Royals. Josh DeMage: they have A's Red Sox Royals. I mean, it's not the the hardest schedule either. I still I I like the White Sox chances to win the division. I do think personally Cleveland will be the last wildcard team. I think it sticks how it is. Toronto to me has it real chance as well 'cause they're only a game and a half back. Roy: Well, Toronto and Baltimore play each other in a three game series at the end, so and so is it No. They're pl they're playing Detroit. Brice: They're playing right now, aren't they? Josh DeMage: Yeah. No, the the right now the Jay or the Jays are playing the Tigers. They've got three in tr three in Texas, who is also a wild card team. Roy: Yeah, so they're you're gonna that's gonna bounce one of those two teams out and then Josh DeMage: Three in Baltimore, another wild card team, even though I think they have a harder Roy: What I'm saying. Josh DeMage: chance, but still in it. And then three at home against the Reds. Roy: So I th I think you're gonna see White Sox win the division, Cleveland's last team, just because how those it's gonna play out with their with Josh DeMage: Yeah. Roy: who they're playing. So Josh DeMage: Yeah, and n neither of those teams, the w the Blue Jays, the Rangers, or the Orioles, are really playing super well. Five and five for the Jays in their last ten, five and five for Texas, and four and six for the Orioles. So it's not like one of those teams is, you know, nine and one and they're red hot going in. So I do. I think Cleveland could Cleveland take the division over Chicago, sure. But I still think Chicago would find their way in, personally. And then let's go to the National League. So we got the Brewers, the Dodgers, and the Braves. And I think that's how it's gonna stick division winner-wise. Brice: Yeah, I agree. Josh DeMage: The Cubs are definitely I mean they're only a game and a half above the Phillies. So Cubs, Phillies, and Padres. And it's really only between the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks are two and a half. Next one's Cardinals at seven and a half, and they're not getting in. So it's really Cubs, Phillies, Padres, Brice: I think Josh DeMage: D-backs. And the D back's gotta make up two and a half. Brice: I think yeah pretty long. Josh DeMage: The D back's schedule, they Roy: They pl they finished the season playing the Padres. Josh DeMage: They yeah, it's true. They do. They have a three game set. They've got two against the Marlins. They're playing right now. They just started and then one tomorrow. Then they play at home against the Yankees three game set. Then they're on the road, three in Colorado, and then three in San Diego. And boy, that could come out to be a basically a playoff series if it's close enough. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: we'll see. Roy: I'm gonna s I'm gonna say you're gonna end up with probably San Diego or probably San Diego. Josh DeMage: I I agree. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: Okay, but the Cubs, Phillies, and Padres are all a game and a half within each other. So the Padres could realistically be the number one wild card team. how do you think that order will go? Right now, the Cubs are a game and a half. Roy: Well, I was looking at their schedule. They have the easiest schedule, the three. The Cubs. Philly's got Josh DeMage: The Cubs? Okay. Brice: Yeah. Yeah, I think. Roy: Philly's got tough s so I I think it'll end that way. Cubs, Philly's, San Diego. Josh DeMage: So in that world, Brice: I agree. Josh DeMage: the Cubs would play the Phillies in the first round in Chicago in a three game set. First one to two. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: San Diego would then go to Atlanta and play. So but it's again, and the number one seed has not been locked in either. So it d we don't know if the Cubs or Phillies, if that's the matchup that we get as the one and two seed in any or any order, would at this point go to Milwaukee to play. Bryce, as a Cubs fan, can I ask you, if you're the number one wild card team and it doesn't matter who you play, let's just say the Phillies and you win, would you rather go to Milwaukee or go to LA? Brice: LA. It's not even close. Yeah, not even close. I think we match Josh DeMage: Really? Mm, okay. Have you guys Brice: up with the Dodgers really well. We beat the Dodgers Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: every series we played against them the last three years. The Milwaukee would they just they have some type of witchcraft and they will win a game four to three without a single home run and six singles. It's just how they play. Josh DeMage: Yeah, I'll tell you what though. I I and I do agree, you're right. You know, you guys have played the Dodgers well over the years. I will give you that. But man, Tyreek Scuble, I don't think, has given up a run in about thirty innings in the last time last couple starts with the Dodgers. Brice: Except when he played us. Josh DeMage: He's pitching so well. Snell I mean they w they're all coming back healthy. I mean, it's what the Dodgers do. They're all getting ready to start playing again. Brice: Yeah, they just cheat by putting all of their best starters on the I L all season. Josh DeMage: Yeah. I agree. but Snell's back, Glasnow's back into the pen, so it's a tough matchup. I mean, any time when Tyreek Scuble is gonna pitch game one and you know, five or whatever, I mean those are that's gonna be two games that are tough to win. Roy, let's take it I'll take it over to you. I don't think the Yankees are gonna get the division. I don't Tampa's just playing too well. doesn't the Yankees are playing well. I I'll give that. They're playing good baseball right now, but they're just not play Tampa just I don't know what Tampa does. Tampa has the worst barrel rate in baseball and they're the numb like number two team in baseball. But we're gonna play Boston and we're gonna play at home, just like we did last year. It's gonna be the same three game set. Do you think we match up well against them? Do you think we're playing well enough to beat them? What do you what are your thoughts? Roy: I like just like our pitching staff. I mean w s you know, with our with Cam and I still trust Cole even though he kinda gives up some home runs here this year. I I'll I pr I trust our starters. I'm not a b I don't think our bullpen. I think we batch up better Boston than we have in the past, pitching wise. and and j and we're starting to hit the ball. We're starting kinda getting a groove, so I'm actually not Josh DeMage: Yeah. Yeah. yeah. Yeah, we we're playing some of our better baseball right now than we have been. So I like that. Boston it's just it's one of those where that's Boston's World Series. And I get it's the playoffs, everyone's trying to win. Like I'm not saying that, but like it just is. That's their world series. I like Schlitler against them. I don't love Freed. Boston hits lefties pretty well, even though they seem left-handed dominant. But they also, Boston has one of their better players on the I. L right now. I assume he's back before the playoffs. But whenever you're out and basically until the playoff, it always scares me. Like, are they really going to be locked in yet? And that's Sedan Rafaela, their center fielder. He he's out. He's got to be coming back soon, but still. But they got Roman Anthony back. I mean, it would be a really Roy: Yeah. Josh DeMage: good series, probably. And then the winner would go to Tampa and I just don't think we match up to Tampa very well, so I don't see us moving on beyond that. But Roy: See I f I feel better about playing Tampa. I don't fe I do. Josh DeMage: I don't. They we just Roy: I mean Tampa I I know we just we struggle them, but I just Tampa always struggles in the playoffs and I just feel like we can we can get them. Josh DeMage: Yeah, we just don't Tampa's got two or three pitchers in the starting rotation that like historically we don't hit. Roy: It'll come down to bullpen with them. It'll come down who ca who's got the bet who can bullpen. 'Cause it'll be I Josh DeMage: And their bullpen's way better than ours. Roy: know, so it we're gonna have to hit some. So that's what's gonna I think Josh DeMage: Yeah. Right. Roy: it that'll be a good series actually. Josh DeMage: Gotta get to Boston first. But yeah, I mean, Yankees are locked in. They're gonna play Boston. Unless we sweep Tampa in the four-game set that, you know, and they lose a couple, but it's just not gonna happen. I just know it. fun fact. I have turned on three Tampa Bay Rays games in the last month while they're tied in the bottom of the ninth while they're in Tampa. I have watched Junior Camonero hit three walk-off solo shots in all three games in the bottom of the ninth. I can't you can't make it up. I turn it on to hope it gets to the tenth and Cameron Arrow hits a walk off home run. Three times in the last month. It's unbelievable. but yeah. I'm excited. I think the American League is wide open. I mean, we're seeing, you know, yes, Cleveland we've seen o there, Yankees we've seen there, but the White Sox are a team we haven't seen much in the playoffs. This is a different Astros team than we've seen in the playoffs. And Tampa hasn't been there in a few years. So that one looks a little different. National League it's really the same. five or six teams we've seen the last three or four years, it feels like. but Brice: It's always the time next to the partner is. Roy: Yeah. Josh DeMage: we say this every year. The Brewers look very good. But do they have enough to get through October? They haven't. They've never had enough. Brice: I talked to Zach about it the other day. They're they are built for the regular season. They are not Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: built for the playoffs. They don't hit the home run ball. They have great Josh DeMage: Yeah. Brice: pitching and they play small ball, but they don't hit the home run ball and you have to hit home runs in the playoffs in my opinion. Pitcher's leases are too short. Roy: They're the n that's the Tampa Bay Rays, exactly the same way, so Josh DeMage: Yep. Yep. I like the Dodgers chances. They're getting they're healthy. You know, their pitching has come alive here late. You know, it always does. I really like the Cubs chances. Their starting pitching's been solid since the break. Yeah, Brice: Bullpen's just been so bad. Josh DeMage: I mean that that that is worrisome. but P. Curl Armstrong is the best hitter on the planet right now, other than Junior Cameronero when I watch him. I mean That's what you need in the playoffs. You need that hot hitter. Yeah. So, but Brice: I mean, we have the best offense in the league. It's not even close. Our run differential's insane. Josh DeMage: the one team, and they they just they haven't hit all year, really, it feels like. But God, I would not want to play him in a playoff series. Thank God I'm not gonna have to unless it's a World Series, is a San Diego Padres. That bullpen is disgusting. Disgusting. I would there's no chance I would want to play a three-game set against the Padres. None. Personally, if it's Padres and Braves. Hod Rays have a very real shot at winning that. I mean they're winners of eight straight. I'm just telling you. That's the hottest team coming in, it looks like. Them are the Rays. Rays are winners of four straight with devil magic they do. but other than that, yeah, I don't have anything else for baseball. You guys? All right. I think that takes us to miscellaneous. Brice: Yeah. Roy: I don't have anything. Josh DeMage: I also don't have a game. Brice: I have the same game as last week and I Josh DeMage: That's cool. Brice: three moments again. I have two that are I would say are pretty hard. I don't know if you'll even get You've definitely heard of them, but I don't know if it'll guess them. One's I would say is pretty easy Josh DeMage: Okay Roy, you wanna do the one that does the talking? Roy: Alright, so we so we're trying to figure out what moment and what sport, right first? Josh DeMage: Yep. Roy: What is it an NFL moment? Brice: It is. Roy: Has it happened in the last fifteen years? Brice: Yes. Josh DeMage: Playoff moment. Brice: No. Josh DeMage: No. Is you said no? Sorry. Roy: Or is the team have to do with the AFC? Brice: yes. Josh DeMage: AFC North. Brice: have to look one sec. Actually I think they're NFC. Sorry. Roy: To NFC. Brice: Yeah, their their standings. Pretty sure they're NFC. Yeah, they are. Josh DeMage: Okay, NFC. okay NFC North. Roy: So they never see no. Brice: It is not the NFC North. Josh DeMage: West. Roy: And see w west. Yeah, so near. Brice: No. Josh DeMage: South. Okay, NFC Roy: South. So Brice: No. Josh DeMage: East, so it's a okay. Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: I should be able to get it last fifteen years, NFC. does it have to do with the New York football giants? Brice: It does. Josh DeMage: Was it the Odell Beckham catch? Brice: It is the Odell Beckham Catch. Josh DeMage: Yeah, you would Roy: I was gonna say the Tyreek or Josh DeMage: have put that on your fucking bitch. Roy: whatever's his name, Super Bowl catch. Josh DeMage: I was just talking to Natalie about this catch. Is it is it the most overrated play in NFL history? Brice: It is the greatest catch of all time. Josh DeMage: Okay, well you've never seen Justin Jefferson's catch? Ooh, what what was that? Brice: I have and that one I that's the most that might be the most overrated play of all time. It was held up by Josh DeMage: No. Actually you know what might be the greatest catch of all time? Brice: the defender the whole way down. Josh DeMage: Julian Edelman's in the Super Bowl on the twenty eight to three comeback. That one that Roy: Julia that one was prob Brice: I agree, that one's a big one. Josh DeMage: one was impressive. Where he fucking lost it and then put it hands back on it. That was a good one. All Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: right. Next one. NFL moment. Brice: So that it is. Josh DeMage: AFC. Brice: no. Josh DeMage: NFC South. Roy: Yeah. Brice: No. Roy: North. Josh DeMage: West. Okay, north. West. Brice: No. Yes. Josh DeMage: NFC West. did I ask if it's been a playoff moment? I did not. Brice: Yeah. Roy: Yeah. Brice: Let's see. It would have been a playoff moment, yes. Josh DeMage: NFC West playoff moment. Roy: Let's play off moment. Geez. Josh DeMage: Rams, Niners, Cardinals, Seahawks. Did we ask if it's been in the last fifteen years? Roy: No. Josh DeMage: Last fifteen years. Brice: Yes. Josh DeMage: And we should be able to get it. Roy: So since twenty ten playoff moment. Josh DeMage: Does this have to do with the C L C Hawks? Brice: Yes, it does. Josh DeMage: I know what it is, Roy. Brice: You already know what it is. Josh DeMage: I think so. Unless I'm mistaken but I'm almost s I just don't know if it was a playoff game. I think it was, but I don't know I guess Seattle has a bunch of playoff moments though, so I guess I shouldn't Brice: Yeah. Roy: I was the only Josh DeMage: say that. Roy: one I could think of is the interception. New England. Josh DeMage: that Well, did you say it was a playoff moment? yeah, you said yes. Roy: That's Super Bowl moment. Brice: It is a file moment. Josh DeMage: You're right, I guess it could be that one. okay, we'll let Royce pick first. Hit Super Bowl pick. Brice: No. Josh DeMage: Okay, I'm gonna go next. Beast Quake Brice: It is the beast quake. Yeah. Josh DeMage: Yeah, that that was the first one I thought of. Even though you know, after Roy said that, I don't know why I didn't think of like some of those moments before that, but I didn't. Roy: Yeah. Brice: I'm I didn't think you guys would get that one that quick. Do you know what the beast quake is, Roy? Roy: Yeah. Josh DeMage: you have to play it. You have to play it right now. Brice: He ran it for sixty yards. I bet I could find it really quick actually. Yeah. Josh DeMage: Just yeah, just find it on YouTube or something. I cannot believe you've never I mean you've seen it, you just don't know. Roy: I've probably seen it and I didn't know it was probably known it was n called bee beef's cake. Brice: The fans got so loud that the stadium recorded a earthquake. Josh DeMage: Like real like scientist like this is hundred percent Brice: Yeah. Josh DeMage: true. Yeah, play that second one. There you go. gosh, we're gonna get copyrighted. Brice: We're giving out free ads right now. This is bullshit. Josh DeMage: Holy cow, get these ads off my screen. Brice: We should be getting paid for this. Josh DeMage: So look at the score, look at the pla you know, playoff moment, you know, big drive. Get off me, brother! Roy: I do remember this run, Josh DeMage: Hey, that was almost a Bronco right there. Brice: That is the bees quake. Roy: I do remember that. Josh DeMage: Yeah. Al I mean that's a that stiff arm there is electric. Brice: Yeah. Their seismic machine recorded an actual earthquake because the fans Josh DeMage: Yep. Brice: were so loud. Josh DeMage: All right. Last one. Brice: This is the hardest one I've done yet. Josh DeMage: Okay, I like it. MLB moment. Brice: Yes. Josh DeMage: I knew it. Roy: last ten years or Josh DeMage: National League. Roy: fifteen years. Josh DeMage: Okay. Brice: It was not in the last fifteen years. Josh DeMage: Yeah, that makes it harder. National League. Brice: no. Roy: American league and like Josh DeMage: American League East. Brice: No. Josh DeMage: American League West. Brice: no. Josh DeMage: American League Central. Roy: Central then. Brice: Yes. Roy: not in the last fifteen years, America League Central. Josh DeMage: Does this have to do with the Kansas City Royals? Brice: No. Josh DeMage: Damn. Well, my guess is gone. Roy: Does it have to do with the Cleveland Guardians? Brice: Technically n you're wrong. Yes. Josh DeMage: Okay, so the Cleveland Indians Roy: Cleveland Indians. Josh DeMage: are a bunch of racist people. Roy: Alright. And the Indians. Josh DeMage: Moment with the Indians. Roy: Longer than fifteen years. Josh DeMage: Mm. God, I tell you what, I do not know anything but the Cleveland Indians we pre Roy: I mean I I mean I know a I know a bunch of them. Brice: I don't know if you guys will get this one. This is a tough one. Roy: was this a playoff moment? Brice: I don't think so. Pretty sure it wasn't. Roy: Damn it. I was hop I was hoping I was hoping it was a Java Chamberlain's Josh DeMage: I mean, who the hell cares about the Indians regular season twenty years ago? Brice: yeah. Roy: mosquito thing. You supply have no idea what talking Josh DeMage: I I know what you're talking about. Roy: Price has no idea I'm talking Josh DeMage: Mm.
