Deuteronomy 14–15 teaches that the people of God are called to live differently because they belong to Him. These chapters show that holiness is not only seen in worship, but also in daily conduct, stewardship, generosity, and the way we treat the poor, the needy, and those under obligation. God’s people are to be set apart in character and open handed in compassion.
