- 0:01Speaker 1: Good morning, good morning, good morning, and welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 0:03Speaker 1: It is time now for Car Talk with Brand Dundas
- 0:06Speaker 1: right here on K one, the one you trust in
- 0:10Speaker 1: a good Thursday morning to all break sunshiny skies. And
- 0:13Speaker 1: that means those.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Cars are g liastening yesterday at the last few couple
- 0:18Speaker 2: of days they've been out at the dealership. Toyota has
- 0:21Speaker 2: this program where they come and clean the panels, the
- 0:25Speaker 2: ACM panels on outside the dealership, so they've been powerwashing
- 0:29Speaker 2: the building, so it's the building is gleaming now too.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And a couple of weeks ago we had we did
- 0:38Speaker 2: a refurbishment of the big Toyota portal on the front
- 0:42Speaker 2: with those so the lights are all good now. We
- 0:44Speaker 2: had last spring we'd had the wind blew out of
- 0:48Speaker 2: a strange direction. It kind of blew the red part
- 0:52Speaker 2: of the logo on the front off. So that was
- 0:54Speaker 2: fixed a few a few weeks before all that. So
- 0:57Speaker 2: we're getting back in shape. It looks like, looks great,
- 1:01Speaker 2: got some lots of have our best inventory really of
- 1:05Speaker 2: the year in a long time, and more and more
- 1:07Speaker 2: coming we're in Toyota than now. In our fifty seventh
- 1:12Speaker 2: anniversary month, which is really exciting at the dealership. We
- 1:16Speaker 2: are celebrating fifty seven years of Toyota in Bartlesville, and
- 1:21Speaker 2: a lot longer than that if you count the Ford years.
- 1:24Speaker 3: But we are proud to be Toyota only now.
- 1:29Speaker 2: It's a little bit simpler for me, a little bit
- 1:32Speaker 2: more manageable, and I love the Toyota partnership with us,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and we're really really doing great this year and proud
- 1:42Speaker 2: to have Kathy's Iervis here with me this morning.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Say Hi, Kathy, how is everyone this morning?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Well, Kathy is for those of you who don't know
- 1:54Speaker 2: with the Bartlesville Civic Ballet these days, you know, I
- 1:57Speaker 2: know you're probably involved in what's another thing, but I
- 2:00Speaker 2: know this time of year is a very big time
- 2:04Speaker 2: of year for the ballet, And I mean, you guys
- 2:10Speaker 2: have programs going on year round.
- 2:12Speaker 4: We do now for sure.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yeah, But the Nutcracker is this thing that's got a
- 2:18Speaker 2: life of its own, and I know that, I know
- 2:22Speaker 2: that you've invested a lot of your personal time in
- 2:24Speaker 2: that through the years, and my family's been involved in it.
- 2:30Speaker 2: My cousin Trash was a dancer for a long time,
- 2:34Speaker 2: and Buddy danced in different roles for a long time.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Specific part of it.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah, that's one of the things that I think is
- 2:42Speaker 3: so cool, is.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Well, that's not really that unusual in nutcrackers around the country, really, right,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I mean.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 2:52Speaker 5: I think the smaller companies like in towns are size
- 2:56Speaker 5: incorporate this.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's what I mean.
- 2:59Speaker 2: They were not totally unique that way, right, longevity of Bartlesville's.
- 3:04Speaker 3: And the and the.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Maybe the ratio of the community dancers versus the professionals,
- 3:14Speaker 2: it might be pretty astounding.
- 3:16Speaker 3: To people with it.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Certainly is I've noticed a lot more attention from the
- 3:23Speaker 5: community in the years that I've been involved, which is.
- 3:26Speaker 4: About forty years I've been involved.
- 3:29Speaker 5: So anyway, my daughter is now the artistic director and
- 3:34Speaker 5: lives in California and comes back once a month. She
- 3:38Speaker 5: teaches the choreography and the girls rehearse the you know,
- 3:43Speaker 5: the teachers rehearse the girls while she's gone, and then
- 3:46Speaker 5: she tweaks.
- 3:47Speaker 4: It when she comes back.
- 3:48Speaker 5: But she's we have grown, oh my goodness, doubled in
- 3:53Speaker 5: size in two years. We have over one hundred students
- 3:57Speaker 5: in her academy. Now we have added a third production
- 4:02Speaker 5: during the year, which is really incredible. So Melissa, Melissa
- 4:06Speaker 5: the artistic director, said, I have to keep these girls
- 4:09Speaker 5: dancing otherwise they don't excel. They need they need to
- 4:14Speaker 5: be constantly performing.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Yeah, they reached the peak level.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Then that's really neat.
- 4:20Speaker 2: And the time it takes to be good at something
- 4:23Speaker 2: like that, and the you know, through the years, there
- 4:25Speaker 2: have been many dancers go on from the program and
- 4:28Speaker 2: to the careers in dance, and careers are college.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Melsa was a ballet major in college and her sister
- 4:35Speaker 5: Dana was as well, and then they've moved on into
- 4:40Speaker 5: as a student counselor now and Melissa moved on to kinesiology,
- 4:44Speaker 5: which is all part of the part of the deal.
- 4:48Speaker 5: So yeah, but we're excited because this is our fiftieth
- 4:52Speaker 5: full length performance of The Nutcracker, and I can't think
- 4:56Speaker 5: of another town that can boast about that it would
- 5:00Speaker 5: be as professional as ours is, and.
- 5:02Speaker 2: It is that, and it is one of those it's
- 5:06Speaker 2: a it goes the fifty years of the full length
- 5:10Speaker 2: ballet and it's probably been pretty consistent the production itself.
- 5:16Speaker 5: It's interesting because it depends, you know, we rely on
- 5:19Speaker 5: high school kids right to be the core of our
- 5:23Speaker 5: ballet company. It depends on the talent we have that year,
- 5:28Speaker 5: how many boys are involved, which there are a lot now,
- 5:32Speaker 5: to see what kind of choreography makes them look the best. Okay,
- 5:37Speaker 5: the artistic director has that flexibility to tweak it so
- 5:42Speaker 5: that according to their abilities and talent and who she
- 5:46Speaker 5: has available for the parts, she can make them look great.
- 5:50Speaker 5: And we have that little bit of flexibility there with
- 5:53Speaker 5: the choreography, so changes a little bit.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I'm sure it does. I'm no expert out. I remember
- 6:00Speaker 3: when my boys were.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Young and they were crawling across the stage at the
- 6:05Speaker 2: beginning and being the mice and doing all that, and
- 6:09Speaker 2: eventually William became a nutcracker.
- 6:11Speaker 4: And it was an excellent nutcracker.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I tried to get him to come this morning, but
- 6:17Speaker 2: he was there was another manager off, so he had
- 6:19Speaker 2: to stay at the dealership that I wanted to bring
- 6:22Speaker 2: a former nutcracker.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Absolutely well, we count on those boys. Yeah, And this
- 6:30Speaker 5: past year we've included a class in our academy that
- 6:34Speaker 5: offers classes for free just to include boys, and we
- 6:39Speaker 5: have about ten now awesome and two older boys that
- 6:43Speaker 5: can do these fantastic parts. I can't wait for the
- 6:46Speaker 5: audience to see Russian and Arabian and doll.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Right they're all young men.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah, awesome, that's that's really good. You know, my guys
- 6:57Speaker 2: weren't so much dancers, so I.
- 6:59Speaker 4: Don't I mean, well, they're performers. Yeah, that's what. That's what.
- 7:04Speaker 4: It takes a lot of acting.
- 7:06Speaker 5: People don't realize with no speaking that you have to
- 7:12Speaker 5: be able to really act and do the pantomime that's
- 7:15Speaker 5: required so that people understand the story not only in movement,
- 7:19Speaker 5: but in facial expressions, your arms, your hands, it all
- 7:24Speaker 5: plays a part in it.
- 7:25Speaker 4: That's really important.
- 7:26Speaker 3: The one year I did it, that was the that
- 7:28Speaker 3: was the challenge.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Well, we're excited when this is a two week marathon
- 7:36Speaker 5: for the ballet. This coming weekend, we have a house
- 7:41Speaker 5: tour that we've had since nineteen seventy nine, and we
- 7:46Speaker 5: have four incredible homes that are fully decorated and shops
- 7:52Speaker 5: and two of them one is our sugar Plum Shop,
- 7:54Speaker 5: which offers nutcrackers and gifts and decorations, and the bake shop.
- 8:03Speaker 5: We have over eighty seven bakers this year, so incredible.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and one hundred and thirteen volunteers.
- 8:09Speaker 3: And I heard you've sold a lot of tickets.
- 8:12Speaker 5: We have sold a lot of tickets and they're still
- 8:14Speaker 5: available until tomorrow at four o'clock pre sale and can
- 8:19Speaker 5: buy them at the door, but it costs you a
- 8:21Speaker 5: little bit more.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Okay, So how do they get those tickets?
- 8:24Speaker 5: They go to Moxie on second Okay, that's where the
- 8:26Speaker 5: tickets are available.
- 8:28Speaker 4: We partner with her and.
- 8:29Speaker 3: When is the winter of the tour?
- 8:31Speaker 5: Dates tour is Tomorrow night from seven to nine thirty
- 8:35Speaker 5: and Saturday ten to four and Sunday is one to four.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So you get to go into these exclusive homes and
- 8:41Speaker 2: they are people Christmas decorated. You can Christmas shop or
- 8:45Speaker 2: get some baked goods.
- 8:47Speaker 5: It's a one stop shop once you get ideas from
- 8:50Speaker 5: going to the homes, I mean decorating ideas or style furnishing.
- 8:56Speaker 5: You know, there's they're all very very different homes. So
- 9:00Speaker 5: there's something for everyone. I think that's some.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Tickets at Moxie yep.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And then here on the twentieth and twenty first it's
- 9:09Speaker 2: not accurate, solf.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Right, And we're excited because in celebration of our fiftieth Nutcracker,
- 9:15Speaker 5: we have invited all of our former company dancers to
- 9:19Speaker 5: come and see where we are at this point.
- 9:22Speaker 4: We have I think.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Eighty alums coming and they're going to have a party
- 9:28Speaker 5: pre a pre party before the performance on Saturday, and
- 9:32Speaker 5: then a kind of a cookie reception on Sunday. But
- 9:36Speaker 5: they're going to be they're going to be on stage
- 9:39Speaker 5: two at the beginning, so we can see who all
- 9:42Speaker 5: was involved in that. We have every generation. I mean,
- 9:46Speaker 5: you can imagine fifty years. Yeah, no, that's some of
- 9:49Speaker 5: them are as old as me.
- 9:52Speaker 3: That's exciting.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great to honor them and their legacy in Bartlesville.
- 9:57Speaker 2: And you know, I it's a it is such a
- 10:01Speaker 2: great program because it does get people to involved and
- 10:06Speaker 2: you know, it's it's an interactive event. It's the end
- 10:09Speaker 2: of these things that that you know, goes back in town.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That we always talk about that on the show about
- 10:16Speaker 2: how rich Bartlesville is in the resources. If people are
- 10:20Speaker 2: interested in things, there's always a place for your interest
- 10:23Speaker 2: to get connected to something that leads to something else
- 10:26Speaker 2: and kind of sparks that that that thing that may
- 10:30Speaker 2: last a lifetime or not or not. You know something
- 10:33Speaker 2: you know, you know, but you learn a lot through
- 10:36Speaker 2: these programs. I know, you know that it's it takes
- 10:40Speaker 2: a lot to put on this kind of event, and
- 10:43Speaker 2: you know it takes volunteers to I mean that's something
- 10:47Speaker 2: that you know. I when my kids were little, I
- 10:50Speaker 2: got to stand behind the stage and when we would
- 10:53Speaker 2: come off, we'd take care of him there for a
- 10:56Speaker 2: little bit. And Kimberly was doing dancing with others. I
- 11:00Speaker 2: didn't I wasn't so much into that, but someone needed
- 11:04Speaker 2: to take care of William and and you know, then
- 11:07Speaker 2: we'd go out in front and watch the rest of
- 11:09Speaker 2: the show. But you know that the whole creation of
- 11:14Speaker 2: the of the sets and the scenes, putting them up,
- 11:18Speaker 2: putting them down.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I know that is even the floor, even the floor.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Yeah, this is an incredible production that goes on every year,
- 11:27Speaker 2: and you have to prepare for for weeks or months.
- 11:31Speaker 4: We start Nutcracker in September.
- 11:35Speaker 5: The fall show that we did was Dracula. We started
- 11:39Speaker 5: that in June. And then of course we're doing Sleeping
- 11:43Speaker 5: Beauty in the spring this year, and we'll start that
- 11:45Speaker 5: in January, and we hire professionals to come in and
- 11:49Speaker 5: do them. The key parts like sugar Plum Fairy for
- 11:53Speaker 5: Nutcracker and the cavalier who X like the the snow
- 12:00Speaker 5: King and Dances with the sugar Plum Fairy. Those two
- 12:04Speaker 5: are coming from the Boston Ballet. Boston Ballet, Yes we
- 12:08Speaker 5: we we are a professional production. It's not a recital.
- 12:13Speaker 5: It's it's up to the next level.
- 12:16Speaker 4: And so.
- 12:18Speaker 5: You know, these girls either they can go on and
- 12:21Speaker 5: dance or they can just like you said, they get
- 12:25Speaker 5: qualities from this discipline.
- 12:28Speaker 4: That they can carry on and the well you've developed.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I mean, it's a it's like a confidence. It's a
- 12:34Speaker 2: teamwork because it's a it's you're not alone. You have
- 12:38Speaker 2: to learn to work with others to perform this this
- 12:41Speaker 2: orchestrated production.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Uh.
- 12:44Speaker 3: And then you're you're you know a little bit.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Of being out there in front of people and being
- 12:50Speaker 2: that that get comfortable with being, you know, doing that
- 12:55Speaker 2: process out there in front of everyone.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Is is it something you know?
- 12:59Speaker 2: You it's a lifelong It is a thing no matter
- 13:03Speaker 2: almost no matter what you do.
- 13:05Speaker 5: And I mean in Melissa's case, it came full circle.
- 13:09Speaker 5: I mean, who would have thought she'd be coming back
- 13:11Speaker 5: here to her hometown and doing what she's doing. But
- 13:16Speaker 5: it was a lifelong just a passion for her to
- 13:21Speaker 5: be involved in dance in some way and she's made it,
- 13:25Speaker 5: made it, made it wonderful for us.
- 13:27Speaker 4: We're excited you have.
- 13:29Speaker 5: The thing about our company is the history, and it
- 13:34Speaker 5: really is important to know our history and what.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Are we talk a little bit about that because we
- 13:41Speaker 2: did kind of start with some individuals.
- 13:44Speaker 5: Yes, it started and we were founded in nineteen seventy
- 13:49Speaker 5: and Charlotte like became our artistic director in nineteen seventy
- 13:56Speaker 5: five and she enlisted the health of Bill Martin, viscount,
- 14:02Speaker 5: who was from Fort Worth, and he presented his own
- 14:07Speaker 5: choreography of the Nutcracker and we used his choreography for
- 14:11Speaker 5: about oh I would say twenty years maybe, And then
- 14:17Speaker 5: Soily and Lao came on board. Soile Arvola and Leohonen
- 14:22Speaker 5: there from Finland originally and had danced in several companies
- 14:27Speaker 5: and they became friends with Charlotte and they have been
- 14:31Speaker 5: a godsend for our company.
- 14:34Speaker 4: Soily is a premiere seamstress.
- 14:37Speaker 5: She learned at the Finish Opera House how to sew
- 14:41Speaker 5: a tutu and she's made all of our tutu's wow
- 14:45Speaker 5: and refurbished them through the years. Still does it and
- 14:50Speaker 5: she quit dancing probably she was sixty years old, and
- 14:55Speaker 5: she's you know, she's still very much involved, has connection
- 15:00Speaker 5: all over the country for securing our guest artists. Melissa
- 15:04Speaker 5: has now become a key player in doing that as well.
- 15:08Speaker 5: She's formed some really good relationships and that's what it takes.
- 15:12Speaker 5: And those professionals that come to our to our town
- 15:17Speaker 5: are dumbfounded with what we have here.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Our Community Center is amazing.
- 15:23Speaker 5: They're I think they're expecting to go into a school gym,
- 15:27Speaker 5: you know, which they've done. But they come to this
- 15:30Speaker 5: incredible place and are treated like.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Kings and queens and big crowds.
- 15:34Speaker 4: And big crowds, and they are available at the box.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Office at the community center or the center now it's called.
- 15:44Speaker 3: But you want to go ahead and get those, I would.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Say yes, if you want a good seat, good seats
- 15:51Speaker 5: are you're going to have to sit back on rows
- 15:55Speaker 5: if you wait too long, that's for sure. But we're
- 15:57Speaker 5: very excited about this year. It's kind of a turning
- 16:00Speaker 5: point for us.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 16:02Speaker 5: We're ready for the next the next few years.
- 16:07Speaker 2: You've got three productions now, and are there any other
- 16:10Speaker 2: plans for things.
- 16:11Speaker 4: To those are forming?
- 16:14Speaker 5: Our Ballet in the Ville fundraiser is going to be
- 16:19Speaker 5: happening in April. We have new chairmen for that. We
- 16:23Speaker 5: kind of put that on the side until we got
- 16:26Speaker 5: re established after COVID really took we took it.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a fun, a fun event and it really
- 16:35Speaker 5: boosts our our budget.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And I'm sure you have another. The home tour is
- 16:43Speaker 2: probably a fund right, it is.
- 16:45Speaker 6: It is.
- 16:45Speaker 4: We do very well with that.
- 16:47Speaker 5: And then plus sponsors like you and everyone else helps,
- 16:52Speaker 5: you know, make the make.
- 16:54Speaker 4: The productions possible.
- 16:55Speaker 5: I mean it's over a fifty thousand dollars investment to
- 16:59Speaker 5: do one production.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Wow, so it's it's a lot.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well it is a great production. It's a it's
- 17:06Speaker 2: a great time of year as we and you know,
- 17:08Speaker 2: it kind of gets everybody firmly in that celebrating Christmas
- 17:12Speaker 2: mood with an incredible story of the party scene and
- 17:17Speaker 2: then the dreams and and how that evolves, and it
- 17:23Speaker 2: is it's one of those things that if you if
- 17:25Speaker 2: you if you remember that from your childhood or from
- 17:28Speaker 2: the past, and you haven't seen it in a while,
- 17:31Speaker 2: or if you've never seen it, it's.
- 17:33Speaker 4: It's worth seeing. It's never quite the same, no.
- 17:37Speaker 2: And it's got you know, the community members in it,
- 17:42Speaker 2: so you'll see you might might see.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Friends or their children in the program.
- 17:47Speaker 2: All the the all the kids are local, all the
- 17:51Speaker 2: party scene dancers are local.
- 17:54Speaker 6: All all.
- 17:56Speaker 4: We have one girl from Tulsa that comes up every day.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Yeah, so it's it's a commitment as a sport would be.
- 18:06Speaker 5: And they give it their time. They these girls dance
- 18:09Speaker 5: almost every day and that's what it takes.
- 18:13Speaker 2: That's awesome. And back to the car business just a
- 18:17Speaker 2: little bit. During our fifty seventh anniversary, if you buy
- 18:20Speaker 2: a car from Dungeons Toyota this month, you can select
- 18:24Speaker 2: a nonprofit to get a gift. We'll make a donation
- 18:28Speaker 2: of fifty dollars and the Civic Ballet would be a
- 18:31Speaker 2: great choice. It would, And so if you're we've had
- 18:36Speaker 2: lots of people in there making that choice.
- 18:39Speaker 3: And once at the end of the month of the.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Charity that gets selected the most will make sure they
- 18:47Speaker 2: get at least a total of twenty five hundred dollars
- 18:49Speaker 2: and then we're going to get Toyota to match that.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And there's a chance for a little.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Bit of my plug in.
- 18:58Speaker 3: That's as a.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It's a coolporate we've done the last few years and
- 19:02Speaker 2: We're really proud to do that, you.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Know, and we we love to support our.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Local community and the great organizations like the Civic Ballet
- 19:10Speaker 2: and and it's kind of a way to help connect
- 19:14Speaker 2: our customers and the employees at the dealership with those
- 19:18Speaker 2: those programs every month and to celebrate that during our
- 19:23Speaker 2: anniversary because I know for my grandmother and grandfather when
- 19:27Speaker 2: they came to town, that was one of their you know,
- 19:30Speaker 2: that was really important to them to be connected to
- 19:33Speaker 2: the community and to support organizations like the ballet.
- 19:37Speaker 4: And that's bartels so unique.
- 19:39Speaker 5: With the arts, I mean they and people don't realize
- 19:43Speaker 5: that they really to make a complete lifestyle, you need
- 19:48Speaker 5: the arts. Oh yeah, I mean you can't just have
- 19:50Speaker 5: sports and it all comes.
- 19:53Speaker 2: You do need it all from the livestock shows to sports,
- 19:57Speaker 2: to the arts to the other programs. You know, whenever
- 20:01Speaker 2: someone's in that it does create this rich fabric of
- 20:04Speaker 2: our community. And you know, that's Bartlesfield special and that
- 20:08Speaker 2: it's had, you know, individuals that were generous enough to
- 20:12Speaker 2: support these organizations through the years, corporations, businesses, individuals that
- 20:17Speaker 2: that made this possible. And it is one of those
- 20:20Speaker 2: things that that I do think is you know, we're
- 20:25Speaker 2: we're small city and but but big and these things
- 20:31Speaker 2: much richer than a lot of places. And that's one
- 20:36Speaker 2: of the unique characteristics of Bartlesville. And it's something to
- 20:39Speaker 2: celebrate for sure. And and you know, I think we
- 20:42Speaker 2: don't want to take it for granted.
- 20:44Speaker 4: That's right.
- 20:45Speaker 3: It's one of those things that.
- 20:46Speaker 4: And everybody needs to pitch in.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:48Speaker 5: No, they can't just be a taker that we need
- 20:52Speaker 5: the giving to it.
- 20:54Speaker 3: And that's harder and harder.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I'm glad to hear you guys are doing well and
- 20:58Speaker 2: have this kind of research and interest after you know,
- 21:01Speaker 2: COVID was hard on all its hard profits and all
- 21:04Speaker 2: the gatherings.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Of people and thinks.
- 21:06Speaker 4: So it's very hard.
- 21:07Speaker 3: This is what the.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Nutcracker and ballet and on the arts is all about,
- 21:11Speaker 2: is getting people together in many cases. And and so
- 21:15Speaker 2: here we go again, and that I mean, we're we're
- 21:20Speaker 2: super excited.
- 21:21Speaker 3: To have it not be Nutcracker time again.
- 21:23Speaker 2: And it'll be one of those things that I know
- 21:28Speaker 2: everybody's filled with anticipation.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I guess, yeah. I think it's.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Become such a holiday tradition.
- 21:35Speaker 5: I mean I have I've talked to friends of mine
- 21:38Speaker 5: they said we never missed the Nutcracker.
- 21:39Speaker 4: It just gets us in the right mood. And having
- 21:42Speaker 4: it just.
- 21:42Speaker 5: A few days before Christmas allows their families to come
- 21:46Speaker 5: and see it, out of town families, and we're really
- 21:50Speaker 5: the timing of it couldn't be better for audience participations especially.
- 21:57Speaker 3: And I will go through the dates on the home
- 21:59Speaker 3: tour first.
- 21:59Speaker 5: That tomorrow tomorrow it starts seven o'clock in the evening.
- 22:04Speaker 5: It's a beautiful time to come see the homes. And
- 22:07Speaker 5: we have one very huge home, the Quinns, and it's
- 22:14Speaker 5: quite the site. The others are just fantastic and goes
- 22:21Speaker 5: from seven to nine thirty.
- 22:23Speaker 4: On Saturday, it's from ten to four.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Is there a rotation or you kind of go where
- 22:27Speaker 3: you go anywhere?
- 22:28Speaker 5: Your ticket is good for the whole weekend. So if
- 22:31Speaker 5: you're only managed two houses tomorrow, you can go back
- 22:34Speaker 5: on Saturday or Sunday.
- 22:36Speaker 3: And you get those tickets at Moxie.
- 22:37Speaker 5: At Moxie, how much are they they're twenty five okay,
- 22:40Speaker 5: twenty five dollars thirty thirty dollars at the door, so
- 22:44Speaker 5: it pays to get seven.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Get them today at Moxie, right, and then the ballet
- 22:51Speaker 2: is on the twentieth and twenty.
- 22:53Speaker 4: First, right at seven thirty on the twentieth.
- 22:56Speaker 5: In the evening on Saturday and Sunday is at two
- 22:59Speaker 5: pmnee awesome.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yeah, And those tickets you get at the center the center,
- 23:07Speaker 2: they range in price been.
- 23:09Speaker 5: Yeah's adults are thirty. I believe you can get a
- 23:12Speaker 5: family bundle. I'm not sure exactly how that works, but
- 23:15Speaker 5: the Community's Community Center knows all.
- 23:18Speaker 3: About that and you can.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you can call the center and ask questions if
- 23:22Speaker 2: you want, or just going down to the bottom them online.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Either way, they are available online as well.
- 23:30Speaker 2: And as I mentioned, we're going to be celebrating for
- 23:32Speaker 2: the rest of the month our fifty seventh anniversary and
- 23:35Speaker 2: Toyota than We've got great incentives and great inventory right
- 23:39Speaker 2: now out at DUNGEUS Toyota. We've got some of the
- 23:43Speaker 2: special ones are low interest rates on the Tundra and Tacoma.
- 23:46Speaker 2: We've got three ninety nine for up to seventy two
- 23:49Speaker 2: months on the Tacoma and two nine nine for up
- 23:51Speaker 2: to seventy two months on the twenty six Tundra. We
- 23:55Speaker 2: do have a lot of twenty twenty six models in.
- 23:57Speaker 2: We got our first of the new designed BZ, which
- 24:01Speaker 2: is the Toyota battery electric vehicle. It was kind of surprise,
- 24:07Speaker 2: but it's sold the first day that it landed. It
- 24:10Speaker 2: has a extended range from the last model, about one
- 24:14Speaker 2: hundred miles more range. It's a great to redesign of
- 24:18Speaker 2: that vehicle. We've got, you know, things like Sequahja on
- 24:24Speaker 2: the ground, Highlander, Grand Highlander available, the Forerunner, the Camray, Corolla.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Just about everything is available or in the pipeline on
- 24:34Speaker 2: the way here, and you know, we just got to
- 24:37Speaker 2: keep We've been really intentional this year about trying to
- 24:41Speaker 2: sell everything on the ground so that we earn more
- 24:44Speaker 2: and that's working. We've got Toyota inventory across our region
- 24:49Speaker 2: turned i think last month at over eighty percent, so
- 24:53Speaker 2: that even at the no matter where you shop, you're
- 24:57Speaker 2: gonna you know, selection is a little tight on Toyot.
- 25:00Speaker 3: But that's a that's a good problem to have.
- 25:02Speaker 2: We have a very high demand vehicle, great great resale
- 25:07Speaker 2: values and a high quality and great reputation for the vehicles,
- 25:11Speaker 2: great safety equipment and other technology in there, and and
- 25:17Speaker 2: it leads to I guess selling them really fast. But
- 25:21Speaker 2: so reach out to our team. They'll help you get
- 25:24Speaker 2: that perfect vehicle for you. We can do dealer swaps
- 25:28Speaker 2: or swap with the allocation up above, and do things
- 25:32Speaker 2: like preferencing and special vehicle order requests if we don't
- 25:37Speaker 2: have what you're looking for on the ground, and our
- 25:40Speaker 2: sales team, our great non commissioned sales team is out
- 25:43Speaker 2: there and we'll help you make that simple.
- 25:46Speaker 3: Our simple price.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Is designed to make the purchase experience really really simple
- 25:52Speaker 2: and the easy non not a big dramatic back and
- 25:56Speaker 2: forth negotiation. We do market based price all our new
- 26:00Speaker 2: and used vehicles. Our team is not paid a commission,
- 26:04Speaker 2: so they're really there to serve you, and we just
- 26:07Speaker 2: keep hearing great things from our customers more and more
- 26:11Speaker 2: that it's their best buying experience they ever had, and that's.
- 26:16Speaker 3: What we're aiming for, is really to.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Give you that service so you want to come back
- 26:22Speaker 2: again and service your vehicle with us. And you know,
- 26:26Speaker 2: that's why we've been doing it for a long time,
- 26:27Speaker 2: and we just hopefully keep getting better and better at that.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The other stuff we're doing is we do need to
- 26:35Speaker 2: buy some vehicles or use garn. Inventory like the new
- 26:38Speaker 2: Toyota just keeps turning really quickly, so if you have
- 26:41Speaker 2: a vehicle to sell, let us know, it's really simple
- 26:44Speaker 2: to do that process.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Either on a website or at the dealership.
- 26:48Speaker 2: You can we use a tool called the Kelly Bluebook
- 26:53Speaker 2: Instant cash Offer where you can go in, put some
- 26:56Speaker 2: information on your vehicle in the system, and get guaranteed
- 27:00Speaker 2: value for that vehicle. A lot of times when we
- 27:02Speaker 2: look at it, we can give you quite a bit
- 27:05Speaker 2: more for the vehicle upon confirmation of the condition of
- 27:10Speaker 2: the vehicle and everything. But it's just a great way
- 27:13Speaker 2: to start so you have an idea of what's up
- 27:15Speaker 2: and that makes it really fast and then simple. As
- 27:18Speaker 2: we say, we have other great tools on our website
- 27:21Speaker 2: that make it possible to go in and and really
- 27:25Speaker 2: kind of work your own deal where you can see
- 27:29Speaker 2: what your payment would be based on your own credit range,
- 27:32Speaker 2: and then play with compare a lease to to a purchase,
- 27:37Speaker 2: look at the cash price, play with the down payment
- 27:40Speaker 2: so you're not sure how much you want to put
- 27:42Speaker 2: down and that how that affects the payment. You can
- 27:45Speaker 2: go right in there do that, add your trade. If
- 27:48Speaker 2: you're you know, if you want to buy it online,
- 27:51Speaker 2: you can purchase now and then it will pretty much
- 27:54Speaker 2: do you do the whole thing, we can deliver the
- 27:57Speaker 2: vehicle to you, and you know, just always working on
- 28:00Speaker 2: trying to make it transparent and simple, fast and fun,
- 28:06Speaker 2: as we say at the dealership. And that's that's our
- 28:11Speaker 2: promise to you. We'll make it the best experience ever.
- 28:13Speaker 2: And again, I hope everybody comes out to the Nutcracker
- 28:17Speaker 2: this year the weekend after this and twentieth and twenty
- 28:22Speaker 2: first and then the house tour this weekend. You know
- 28:25Speaker 2: you're going to have a huge crowd, but so people hope,
- 28:27Speaker 2: So get out.
- 28:28Speaker 4: There and get count on.
- 28:29Speaker 5: And the weather's going to be good, good little chili
- 28:33Speaker 5: on Sunday.
- 28:34Speaker 6: So it's winter, it's all right, we need it's good
- 28:40Speaker 6: to kind of get in the mood and celebrating the
- 28:44Speaker 6: Christmas holiday.
