- 0:03Speaker 2: Okay, here we go where the.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Plays get broken down and science gets denied to.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Come off the bitch.
- 0:09Speaker 4: Hour two of Off the.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Bench Live from the Raising Knees Studio.
- 0:29Speaker 5: All right, welcome back in I remember two of ot
- 0:31Speaker 5: B here live from SEC Media Days, Tampa, Florida. Jake
- 0:37Speaker 5: and Flynn here, Paul and Landro back in the studio.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Was Paul there? Oh yeah, Tata Ho had a baby.
- 0:45Speaker 4: That's right, Razor. Watch is over.
- 0:48Speaker 5: Just want to in case you weren't listening at the
- 0:50Speaker 5: top of the show, let's go Razor.
- 0:52Speaker 4: Razor is here.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Congrats so the sharps. Yeah, if you are just tuning in.
- 0:56Speaker 2: That is right. Late last night we got the text
- 0:59Speaker 2: that it was actually happening. So it's been nine months
- 1:03Speaker 2: in the making. Bud right here. Then he's here, Razors here,
- 1:07Speaker 2: we got a we got another member of the wolf
- 1:10Speaker 2: pack in the fox hole with us, so very excited.
- 1:15Speaker 4: It's awesome.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Hopefully well Razors howling somewhere.
- 1:18Speaker 5: No doubt he is as soon as like after he
- 1:21Speaker 5: gave his Dak Prescott take and then challenged Stephen A.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Smith to a debate. Ye, then it was a howl.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Then there was a how why haven't we howled it that? Like,
- 1:29Speaker 2: what would you think? What would people around? We don't care, Yeah,
- 1:33Speaker 2: we don't care.
- 1:34Speaker 4: The reason we don't do the yoe's just because there's
- 1:36Speaker 4: like a.
- 1:36Speaker 5: Delay when you're on remote, and like we couldn't do
- 1:39Speaker 5: the waterfall. And it has zero to do with us
- 1:43Speaker 5: caring about people hearing us yo and howl. I can
- 1:45Speaker 5: avoid you that.
- 1:46Speaker 2: I mean what we say yesterday, there's there was there's
- 1:49Speaker 2: hardly a nostril touched in here by oxygen.
- 1:53Speaker 4: On this whole Every breath is straight from the.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Mouth, straight from the mouth, not a nostril has been touched. Baby.
- 2:00Speaker 5: So today the heavy hitter, we talked South Carolina way
- 2:04Speaker 5: more than I thought we would, but we found ourselves
- 2:06Speaker 5: into a conversation. And then again Marler he had to
- 2:10Speaker 5: come sit down and he didn't defend, Like he didn't
- 2:12Speaker 5: do a good job of defending Nick Harbor. He's like, yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 5: he's just got to be a seven hundred yard receiver
- 2:17Speaker 5: and they'll be good. He had seven hundred last year.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yeah. No, he was like, yeah, no, he's our number
- 2:21Speaker 2: one receiver because everybody else on the roster is just terrible. Basically,
- 2:25Speaker 2: what is it?
- 2:25Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a very very bad job by Marlar
- 2:28Speaker 5: trying to defend his South Carolina players. But it is
- 2:31Speaker 5: going to be Auburn, Georgia and Vanderbilt will be the
- 2:33Speaker 5: other teams here.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Let's real quick, Let's go to Vanderbilt.
- 2:37Speaker 5: And I know he's like, wait, why would you go
- 2:39Speaker 5: to Vanderbilt before you went to Georgia, Because like, we
- 2:42Speaker 5: know Georgia, we know Kirby Smart, we know gunn to
- 2:44Speaker 5: Stock then and we'll talk Georgia. They deserve to be
- 2:46Speaker 5: talked about, undoubtedly. But for Vanderbilt it's exciting because Vanderbilt
- 2:50Speaker 5: won ten games last year. Vanderbilt was ten and two
- 2:53Speaker 5: last year, and that's coming off the heels of a
- 2:56Speaker 5: pretty good season the season before.
- 2:58Speaker 2: It wasn't an accident either, no, but they were built
- 3:01Speaker 2: to that good football team.
- 3:02Speaker 5: But now the narrative and the question is going to be,
- 3:06Speaker 5: what are you going to do without Diego Pavia Elis
- 3:09Speaker 5: Stowers is no longer the tied end. They had the
- 3:11Speaker 5: new Mexico State connection, and everybody's gonna be like, what
- 3:14Speaker 5: are you without them? That's going to be interesting to
- 3:17Speaker 5: me now Clark Lee is a smart When Clark Lee
- 3:20Speaker 5: walks into this room, he's going to be the smartest
- 3:22Speaker 5: person in this room. Well, he's going to be the
- 3:24Speaker 5: smartest person in this room, and he's going to have
- 3:28Speaker 5: a plan. He played at Vanderbilt. He knows the challenges
- 3:33Speaker 5: of being a head coach at Vanderbilt, but they've never
- 3:36Speaker 5: had success like this. Last year was their most successful season.
- 3:40Speaker 5: They built onto their stadium. It's awesome. They had actual
- 3:43Speaker 5: Vanderbilt fans there when I covered the game last year.
- 3:46Speaker 5: It wasn't the other teams fans. They've got a lot
- 3:49Speaker 5: of positive momentum. Nashville is growing faster than any city
- 3:53Speaker 5: in our country, and they are trying to hold on
- 3:56Speaker 5: to all of that that.
- 3:57Speaker 4: They can and they're doing a good job right now.
- 4:00Speaker 5: It's going to be a very interesting year because they
- 4:02Speaker 5: have to go prove that they can do it without
- 4:04Speaker 5: Diego Pavia.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and that will that's a big question. That's one
- 4:09Speaker 2: of the to me, that's one of the bigger questions
- 4:11Speaker 2: in the SEC this year. It's because canne Vanderbilt sustain
- 4:15Speaker 2: their relevance because forever Vanderbilt has not been relevant in
- 4:20Speaker 2: the SEC, at least when it comes to football. But
- 4:24Speaker 2: last year it was no mistake. It was no accident
- 4:27Speaker 2: that they that they had the success that they did,
- 4:31Speaker 2: that they were in the conversation for a college football
- 4:34Speaker 2: playoff Vanderbilt. Yeah, last year was a bad year of
- 4:39Speaker 2: RELISUE fans, right, yep. It was not fun. It was depressing.
- 4:43Speaker 2: It was maddening when and I and like, the one
- 4:48Speaker 2: of the bigger angry highlights of the year was my
- 4:53Speaker 2: realization during the LSU Vanderbilt game. I'm watching the game
- 4:59Speaker 2: and and you know, I can accept getting beep yp Vanderbilt.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Maybe if you know, some fluky things happen, if we
- 5:05Speaker 2: got injuries, like a miscall here, bad play call there, whatever.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I'm watching that game and it's midway through the it
- 5:14Speaker 2: might have been midway through the first quarter, I don't know,
- 5:16Speaker 2: but at least in the second quarter, and I'm just
- 5:18Speaker 2: watching the game and I'm like, oh, they're better at
- 5:22Speaker 2: football than we are. And it was a very humbling
- 5:26Speaker 2: experience for me, because that should never be uttered by
- 5:31Speaker 2: an LSU fan, an LSU former player, well whoever, it
- 5:35Speaker 2: should never be better. But I'm watching the game and
- 5:37Speaker 2: I'm like, they're better on the offensive line. They're better
- 5:40Speaker 2: on the defensive line. Their receivers are playing better. Their
- 5:43Speaker 2: quarterbacks certainly playing better. Yeah, their defense has a unit.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Maybe they don't have that one individual player outside of
- 5:50Speaker 2: the quarterback that's like individually better. But they're better at football.
- 5:55Speaker 2: They have better football iq they are coached. They're coaching
- 5:59Speaker 2: is the That was one of the more apparent discrepancies.
- 6:04Speaker 2: But on coaching that I've that I've seen all season
- 6:07Speaker 2: last year, yeah, was their their linemen are working in unison,
- 6:11Speaker 2: their units understand what the person next to them is doing.
- 6:14Speaker 2: They're calling plays that make sense. It was. It was
- 6:17Speaker 2: just an experience that I thought I would never have
- 6:19Speaker 2: to suffer through, but we did. Yep, Vanderbilt was better
- 6:24Speaker 2: at football than we were. Yep.
- 6:25Speaker 4: It was not yeah, you're you're exactly.
- 6:27Speaker 5: It wasn't flukey, it wasn't flea flickers, It wasn't double
- 6:30Speaker 5: reverse passes. No, no, no, no, it was quite the opposite.
- 6:33Speaker 5: They lined up and they beat you in every aspect.
- 6:36Speaker 5: Like you said, the line of scrimmage is where like
- 6:40Speaker 5: it probably hurt the most to see Vanderbilt beat up
- 6:43Speaker 5: l s U.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they're at the skill positions at the
- 6:48Speaker 2: I mean at every at every position. I mean they
- 6:49Speaker 2: were better like the entire and of course the talent
- 6:53Speaker 2: kept us in the game and gave us shots here
- 6:55Speaker 2: and there. But guess what, those coaches at Vanderbilt didn't
- 6:58Speaker 2: go anywhere. They are going to be a very well
- 7:02Speaker 2: coached team. Now are they going to have be able?
- 7:05Speaker 2: They're not gonna be able to place Diego Pavia.
- 7:07Speaker 4: I mean nobody does.
- 7:08Speaker 2: It's college football. You always have these star players that
- 7:10Speaker 2: come and go right because they only have a certain
- 7:12Speaker 2: amount of years. But I believe in their coach, Clark
- 7:17Speaker 2: Lee is an amazing coaches and he's a guy that
- 7:19Speaker 2: people like to play for. And after watching what they
- 7:22Speaker 2: did last year, they couldn't do all of that. They
- 7:24Speaker 2: couldn't get to ten wins with like with just Diego Pavia.
- 7:27Speaker 2: They had to be a sound football team, they had
- 7:30Speaker 2: to be a high football IQ for they had to
- 7:32Speaker 2: be a tough ass football team, and they were all
- 7:35Speaker 2: of those things. So can they repeat that this year? Yes,
- 7:39Speaker 2: well it looked the same as last year. Absolutely not.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Will they get to that same level of wins that
- 7:45Speaker 2: they did last year? No, they won't. I don't believe
- 7:49Speaker 2: they will. And I don't think they'll probably sniff that.
- 7:51Speaker 2: But are they going to be a hard beat every
- 7:53Speaker 2: single week? Yeah, they will be.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Yeah it might not be the ten wins.
- 7:56Speaker 5: But for Vanderbilt, they just have to continue you down
- 8:00Speaker 5: the path of success and what it looks like like.
- 8:02Speaker 5: To Matt's point, he's talking about what it looked like
- 8:04Speaker 5: against LSU. They dominated. It looked like a better football team.
- 8:08Speaker 5: It looked like a team that was more prepared. That's
- 8:11Speaker 5: what they have to do this year. Maybe it's eight wins,
- 8:13Speaker 5: maybe it's nine. Hell, maybe they do surprise some people
- 8:15Speaker 5: and maybe they get to ten. I don't think so.
- 8:18Speaker 5: It would be a lot of uphill battle for them
- 8:21Speaker 5: to do that. And they're probably gonna be starting a
- 8:23Speaker 5: true freshman quarterback now. Tim Beck incredible offensive coordinator. He's
- 8:27Speaker 5: going to have a game plan. But they're gonna be
- 8:29Speaker 5: probably starting a freshman quarterback now. Saying that, we also
- 8:32Speaker 5: have to say they stole that quarterback from Georgia. One
- 8:37Speaker 5: of the best quarterback recruits in the country was committed
- 8:40Speaker 5: to Georgia and Vanderbilt came in in the eleventh hour.
- 8:43Speaker 5: They swooped in and they were able to sign him.
- 8:45Speaker 5: That never happened before that ever.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Ever, that sentence you just said has never ever, anybody's
- 8:51Speaker 2: ever said that.
- 8:52Speaker 5: But Jared Curtis is probably going to be the starting
- 8:55Speaker 5: quarterback there. If it's not, you know, maybe it's not
- 8:58Speaker 5: the first game, maybe you know, I don't know. Maybe
- 9:00Speaker 5: wit Muschamp starts for two three games, I don't know.
- 9:03Speaker 5: And yes that is will Son, maybe he starts for
- 9:06Speaker 5: a handful of games. But at some point Jared Curtis
- 9:08Speaker 5: is going to be the starter. For me for Vanderbilt.
- 9:11Speaker 5: If I'm a Vandy fan, just don't.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Let it fall off the tracks.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Just keep the same momentum, have two big wins that
- 9:17Speaker 5: you were underdogs in, preferably like at home, so that
- 9:20Speaker 5: crowd can experience that. And now we're talking about Vanderbilt
- 9:25Speaker 5: as a real football program and not a oh my god,
- 9:29Speaker 5: did you see what Vanderbilt did this week? And if
- 9:32Speaker 5: they do that this year, then they kind of lose
- 9:34Speaker 5: all of that that we've always said about them.
- 9:36Speaker 2: The worst thing that can happen to Vanderbilt this year
- 9:38Speaker 2: is after the season people are like, man, they were
- 9:41Speaker 2: good in twenty twenty five because of Diego Pavia's because
- 9:44Speaker 2: it's not true right. Yes, he made a lot of
- 9:47Speaker 2: plays and made them better, and he made a lot
- 9:49Speaker 2: of unscheduled plays. But again they were very well coached,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and they were very They were a very sound and
- 9:56Speaker 2: tough football team. The worst thing they can do is
- 9:59Speaker 2: not having signature wins. Is maybe use to adream or
- 10:03Speaker 2: have a multiple close games on teams they should beat.
- 10:06Speaker 2: And yeah it's Vanderbilt, but and they used to have
- 10:10Speaker 2: not many people on their schedule that they quote unquote
- 10:12Speaker 2: should beat, but now they got more. So they need
- 10:17Speaker 2: to keep their momentum if they want and you know,
- 10:20Speaker 2: do you as a traditional SEC fan, do you want
- 10:24Speaker 2: them to see them keep the momentum? Now? You got
- 10:26Speaker 2: to take your clerkly bias out of this. Because of
- 10:29Speaker 2: his fullbacks, because of you fullbacks like to stick together.
- 10:32Speaker 2: We have another stack of fullback.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Cards every how you see this, You see that Mike
- 10:36Speaker 5: Alstott numbered cards, sir, don't be jealous.
- 10:39Speaker 2: How do we feel as traditional SEC fans if how
- 10:43Speaker 2: do we feel a Vanderbilt dot hodge if they do
- 10:46Speaker 2: keep the momentum going? Do we like it? Do we
- 10:50Speaker 2: like a disruption to the I do our struggle?
- 10:53Speaker 4: I do?
- 10:53Speaker 5: And maybe I can't say, Mike Clark Lee bias out
- 10:56Speaker 5: of this. Maybe that is what it is, but they
- 10:58Speaker 5: were so bad for so long.
- 11:00Speaker 4: I don't know. It's kind of cool to see Vanderbilt.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I do, like I always if it's not my team,
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm cheer for. I always cheer for chaos always, I
- 11:08Speaker 2: always cheer for upsets. Blah blah blah. But still, I
- 11:10Speaker 2: don't know. Vanderbilt just seems a little strange to me
- 11:13Speaker 2: to see, as like favorite.
- 11:15Speaker 5: If so, Vanderbilt's got a four week stretch in their schedule.
- 11:20Speaker 5: If they survive this stretch and go even two and two,
- 11:25Speaker 5: I think they honestly have a chance to go nine
- 11:28Speaker 5: to three. So they open up with Austin p and
- 11:32Speaker 5: then they go Delaware, all right fully, expect them obviously
- 11:35Speaker 5: to win those two games. Then they host n C State.
- 11:38Speaker 5: That's a tricky one. I'm not going to pretend to
- 11:40Speaker 5: know a whole lot about NC State, but I'll throw
- 11:42Speaker 5: that one in the four game stretch. So it starts
- 11:45Speaker 5: with NC State at home at Auburn and Jorden Hare
- 11:49Speaker 5: at Georgia and then Ole Miss at home. That to me,
- 11:53Speaker 5: that's their four game stretch where if they go two
- 11:56Speaker 5: and two in those games. You know, if they beat
- 11:59Speaker 5: I mean, you'd like for him to be old mister
- 12:01Speaker 5: Georgia to your point, to have that signature win. But
- 12:04Speaker 5: if they go two and two in that stretch, the
- 12:06Speaker 5: rest of the schedule Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Now I'm not saying they're gonna be favorites.
- 12:13Speaker 5: In all of those games, but the way those are
- 12:14Speaker 5: spread out, like Alabama comes after Mississippi State and then
- 12:19Speaker 5: like for Tennessee, that game is going to be at home.
- 12:21Speaker 5: So like there's some advantages in the back end of
- 12:23Speaker 5: the schedule. They got to navigate that four week stretch.
- 12:26Speaker 5: And again, I think if they go to and two,
- 12:28Speaker 5: then we're talking about potentially a nine and three football team.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Even even with the their momentum last year, do you
- 12:36Speaker 2: think they had a home field advantage.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I mean, that's more than I've ever seen before.
- 12:43Speaker 2: And that's just hype. As those nerds can get right
- 12:45Speaker 2: like that, that type of team.
- 12:47Speaker 4: You would you would be, because I was, you would be.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Shocked at what their stadium looks like. Now too, Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 5: they did it. They did a really nice job.
- 12:55Speaker 2: It was like and I saw the scenes, Like certainly
- 12:57Speaker 2: I saw the video footage.
- 12:58Speaker 4: And I heard they're like we were playing in a
- 13:00Speaker 4: high school game.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Hey, I just want to know, like, because last year
- 13:03Speaker 2: was probably the most hype that fan base has ever been. Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 2: the history of their what do you do? We o five?
- 13:08Speaker 5: I think we went there at five? Right, Yeah, Cutler
- 13:11Speaker 5: was the quarterback. They were not bad in the end zone.
- 13:14Speaker 5: It looked like they went to academy before the game
- 13:16Speaker 5: and bought some tents to put up in the end
- 13:18Speaker 5: zone and some lawn chairs and that was the end
- 13:20Speaker 5: zone truly, Like that's what it felt like. And now
- 13:23Speaker 5: everything closed in. No, it looked really actual fans, but
- 13:26Speaker 5: it's there. But is there really a home field Advan.
- 13:29Speaker 4: I don't know if there's.
- 13:29Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie to you act like there's a
- 13:31Speaker 5: home field advantage like you have in Tiger Stadium or
- 13:34Speaker 5: Jordan here or one of these you know, Neland I'm
- 13:37Speaker 5: not gonna act like that. But imagine never having the
- 13:41Speaker 5: crowd in your home stadium. Oh I can where I
- 13:44Speaker 5: played in the pro ranks. Yeah, oh yeah, we had that.
- 13:47Speaker 5: We had to go silent count our own stadium like that.
- 13:51Speaker 5: This is the first time they don't have to do that.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Like when LSU played there in twenty nineteen. LSU had
- 13:57Speaker 5: the building sixty five thirty five and maybe seventy third, you.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Know what I mean.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Like, so for them it might not be a home
- 14:03Speaker 5: field advantage like we think or how we view it.
- 14:06Speaker 5: But for guys that have been there, and certainly for
- 14:09Speaker 5: Clark Lee, who was there when they were going to
- 14:11Speaker 5: Academy to buy the tents before the game for the
- 14:13Speaker 5: end zone seats, yep, that's a major home field advantage
- 14:16Speaker 5: for him, I would think.
- 14:17Speaker 2: So I would just I would hope for their sake
- 14:19Speaker 2: that if early first half the season it doesn't look
- 14:23Speaker 2: the way it did last year, if they're sliding a
- 14:25Speaker 2: little bit, I hope that they don't lose that just
- 14:27Speaker 2: because their families didn't used to you know, they're not
- 14:29Speaker 2: used to sustaining fandom over a long period of time.
- 14:32Speaker 2: So we'll see. But I I kind of I'm with you,
- 14:36Speaker 2: though I agree with you that I think it'd be
- 14:39Speaker 2: fun to keep them at least relevant in the SEC
- 14:42Speaker 2: instead of it like.
- 14:43Speaker 5: They can take they can take Auburn spot. It's so
- 14:46Speaker 5: cool to get too mad over there. But Auburn's been
- 14:48Speaker 5: say louder, say louder. Aubrin's been really bad? Did they
- 14:52Speaker 5: have won six SEC games the last three years? If
- 14:54Speaker 5: I'm not mistaken, they're gonna get crushed Baylor week one. No,
- 14:58Speaker 5: they don't know about sick them, sick them? Was it
- 15:01Speaker 5: you that are tea Bob? When we watched that video
- 15:03Speaker 5: about the sorority girl girls that.
- 15:05Speaker 2: I saw, y'all showed it to me. Y'all were talking
- 15:07Speaker 2: a lot about it last summer, Okay, showing the show
- 15:12Speaker 2: Chicken Bears. Dude, I'll tell you what, as a kid
- 15:17Speaker 2: that grew up in old Floyd Casey Stadium going to
- 15:19Speaker 2: every single Baylor home game, and he doesn't get the
- 15:22Speaker 2: juicus flowing like putting that on a Paul up. But
- 15:25Speaker 2: like I look back on it, I was like, yeah,
- 15:27Speaker 2: it wasn't a lot of juice.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Oh.
- 15:31Speaker 5: The Kentucky head coach his saying, juiceful is useful, juiceful
- 15:38Speaker 5: is useful, juiceful is useful.
- 15:40Speaker 2: No one's ever said juiceful before or.
- 15:43Speaker 5: How juiceful is I don't know how useful is the
- 15:45Speaker 5: juiceful or something like that.
- 15:47Speaker 2: That was his saying, okay, well that that's an indictment.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Maybe I messed it up, coach.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Yeah, man, come on, bro, juiceful is useful?
- 15:58Speaker 2: Maybe he said that's an organ like crunching people up there.
- 16:02Speaker 4: It feels like Danka has said that a.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Lot of cold press juices up there in Orgon.
- 16:09Speaker 4: What do you gotta get cold press?
- 16:11Speaker 2: It's delicious, but it just seems like there's a cold

- 18:17Speaker 5: Media Days in Tampa. Speaking of Clark, Lee, just had
- 18:21Speaker 5: a chance to sit and talk with him for a
- 18:22Speaker 5: little bit.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I saw you chatting with him and Joel Aheadbutt.
- 18:25Speaker 5: I thought about it. He goes, Hey, remember I'm a
- 18:27Speaker 5: smart fool back. I'm the outlier here.
- 18:29Speaker 2: It's right, chopped people didn't take them one.
- 18:32Speaker 5: But I did get an invite to training camp. You're
- 18:34Speaker 5: gonna come with no it's natural though. You can bring
- 18:38Speaker 5: the family.
- 18:39Speaker 4: It's fun.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Oh we got to do our show, buddy, we can
- 18:41Speaker 5: do it remotely. Where do you are we in batteries
- 18:44Speaker 5: right now?
- 18:44Speaker 2: Why would I go to there? I might not even
- 18:46Speaker 2: go to the LSU practice. Why would I go to
- 18:47Speaker 2: their practice?
- 18:47Speaker 5: Because we're going to Titans practice and then we can
- 18:49Speaker 5: go to the Commodore's practice.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I'll get back to y'all that Oh you
- 18:58Speaker 2: know what there, maybe I'll I'll take you up on
- 19:00Speaker 2: that they're not in my eye team yet.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Okay, see something in it for here?
- 19:04Speaker 2: He is, Yeah, of course.
- 19:06Speaker 4: Why I mean, I just not just hanging in football practice.
- 19:08Speaker 2: With the brow. Why would I leave my family?
- 19:10Speaker 4: I said, you could bring your family. That's I lead
- 19:14Speaker 4: with that.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Look, they start school pretty early these.
- 19:17Speaker 4: Days, do they really do?
- 19:20Speaker 5: I feel like we were let's go to Labor Day,
- 19:22Speaker 5: like we were like a week away from Labor Day
- 19:24Speaker 5: before we started.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and like, and I know everyone's in the same boat,
- 19:27Speaker 2: and things are you know, things things change a lot,
- 19:30Speaker 2: things are different than they used to be. I get it.
- 19:34Speaker 2: But look, maybe not so many days off during the year.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Let's just start at Labor Day and you just go
- 19:38Speaker 2: to school through the year.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Yeah, no summer.
- 19:41Speaker 2: You're saying, no, no, no, no, go to school during
- 19:44Speaker 2: the school year. Maybe not take so many days off
- 19:47Speaker 2: it may, but get the let's get let's get like
- 19:49Speaker 2: three more weeks of summer back in the good old days.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:53Speaker 6: I'm with you, Memorial Labor Day situation, because my work
- 19:59Speaker 6: schedu like I'm I'm working when they go to school
- 20:03Speaker 6: and then I'm working when they get home.
- 20:05Speaker 5: Let's in school. Yeah, So like, yeah, I love the summertime.
- 20:09Speaker 5: It's like the only time I get a chance to
- 20:11Speaker 5: like actually interact with them during the day when the
- 20:13Speaker 5: sun's still out.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and summer is very short right now, and they
- 20:17Speaker 2: go back to school very early. And this is you know,
- 20:19Speaker 2: it's not a complaint, but it is a complaint a
- 20:21Speaker 2: little bit. They do take a lot of time off
- 20:24Speaker 2: terdur in the year, and it's a short summer. So
- 20:26Speaker 2: maybe it's just like, let's skip him a couple extra weeks,
- 20:29Speaker 2: maybe get an extra VAK in there. You know, wouldn't
- 20:32Speaker 2: I wouldn't hate it.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Now, I'm with you.
- 20:33Speaker 2: I think I think most people share that opinion. I do,
- 20:37Speaker 2: at least everybody that I talk to.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's all it matters.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Yeah, you want to know something, So you know, behind us,
- 20:45Speaker 5: I don't even know if our listeners can see it,
- 20:47Speaker 5: but Clark Lee is talking with Cole Kubrick behind us.
- 20:52Speaker 5: You know who got up and it's not part of
- 20:53Speaker 5: the interview. Well, Greg McRoy, who's on Cold Show, okay,
- 21:00Speaker 5: doesn't have the grit to interview Clark.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Le doesn't have the grit, that's true.
- 21:03Speaker 5: I mean not a very gritty face, no baby cakes,
- 21:07Speaker 5: weak chin.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Maybe I'm maybe I don't either. That's fine. I can't
- 21:11Speaker 2: call it out.
- 21:12Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I find it very interesting that he got
- 21:16Speaker 5: up and left when the fullback was coming.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Can handle the heat. If you can't respect though, If
- 21:21Speaker 2: you can't handle heat, you got to get out of
- 21:23Speaker 2: the kitchen.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Well he got out. He's not in the kitchen. It's
- 21:26Speaker 5: just cool by himself.
- 21:27Speaker 2: I'm wondering if I would get up and leave if
- 21:29Speaker 2: he came.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Over here, I would punch you square in the chest
- 21:31Speaker 4: if you did.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Thanks for protecting my face though, moneymaker.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like the chest is more like you know,
- 21:39Speaker 4: I mean it.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yep.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Anybody can punch any boy in the face. But for
- 21:42Speaker 5: hat you in the chest, that feels like you know,
- 21:44Speaker 5: I'm mad.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It's not dead like me? What dead leg was a thing?
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:52Speaker 5: I did app Sure you walk by and you just
- 21:55Speaker 5: hurt hit somebody's heard as good like right in the thigh,
- 21:56Speaker 5: right in the IT man? Yeah, I T band what
- 22:01Speaker 5: I haven't heard the IT band since the training room
- 22:04Speaker 5: in two you're a foam.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Rolling before practice IT band. Get the band. We'll see
- 22:12Speaker 2: if you phone roll your IT band every day, IT
- 22:14Speaker 2: band and caps you feel a lot better. It kind
- 22:18Speaker 2: of works everything. Yeah, loosens everything up because.
- 22:22Speaker 4: You're again, I haven't heard it bands in about twenty years.
- 22:26Speaker 2: There you go, You're welcome it bands.
- 22:29Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 22:29Speaker 5: I made it to forty one without talking it bands.
- 22:33Speaker 5: When you talk Joja talk Georgia, bulldogs.
- 22:36Speaker 2: There a lot of second Adam and the chat you said,
- 22:38Speaker 2: crime me a river. I'm at work year round. Okay,
- 22:41Speaker 2: we're not. Everybody works year round.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Talking about Yeah, I know, we all work your round.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking about kids.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Talking about children at them.
- 22:55Speaker 2: It's for the kids.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Don't talk gunners Stockton, he's here.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Is his hairline here?
- 23:04Speaker 4: Oh that's so rude.
- 23:06Speaker 2: What I got a bad hairline too? Yeah, but you're forty.
- 23:10Speaker 4: One at it. You're forty one. He's like twenty one.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Probably Alen that these ched are like twenty four.
- 23:16Speaker 2: But that's the only reason I'll bring it up is
- 23:18Speaker 2: because he is young.
- 23:20Speaker 4: All right, So sorry, how do I relax?
- 23:24Speaker 2: So just real quick? Too far. That's the thing that
- 23:27Speaker 2: was it. That was the line you drew of all
- 23:29Speaker 2: the things we talked about.
- 23:30Speaker 4: Feel badel.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Get Georgia. You don't need to feel bad for Gunner.
- 23:36Speaker 5: So okay, So Gunner is is from a town of
- 23:40Speaker 5: four hundred.
- 23:40Speaker 4: And fifty people.
- 23:41Speaker 5: Okay, in an interview, he's he's not going to be
- 23:47Speaker 5: very dynamic. He's he's kind of a whisper. When you're
- 23:51Speaker 5: ask him questions, he's kind of hard to hear. There's
- 23:55Speaker 5: just you know, fine, Look, he's he's a football player.
- 23:58Speaker 5: I think his dad might be a coach or something.
- 24:00Speaker 5: And that's just like who he is. Like he drives
- 24:01Speaker 5: like a nineteen eighty seven Chevy Silverado or something like that,
- 24:05Speaker 5: like something of that nature, like.
- 24:07Speaker 4: It's his baby. He loves it. That's just who he is.
- 24:10Speaker 5: So right now, over in the serious XM Room, my
- 24:16Speaker 5: guy Matt McCall is having.
- 24:17Speaker 4: An interview Gunner by himself. It's cross.
- 24:20Speaker 5: It's yeah, that's that's not a twelve.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Minute or that's a that's a three minute.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Oh his cliche at best? At best? Yeah, Hey pretty good, Yeah,
- 24:33Speaker 2: that's pretty good.
- 24:33Speaker 5: Yeah, we worked hard. Yep, you might get the we
- 24:36Speaker 5: worked hard now. But I say all that to say
- 24:40Speaker 5: his teammates love him. Yeah, he looks like a guy
- 24:44Speaker 5: that loves you. Whenever Carson Beg got hurt against Texas,
- 24:50Speaker 5: I've never seen a team so excited to rally around
- 24:53Speaker 5: their backup quarterback. When he went in, it was it
- 24:57Speaker 5: was like Johnathan Moxon was going in the game.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Yeah, like they were fire hired up.
- 25:00Speaker 5: And then I did that Sugar Bowl the next year
- 25:03Speaker 5: the Notre Dame Georgia where he was going to be
- 25:05Speaker 5: the starter, and you would you would say Gunner Stockton
- 25:07Speaker 5: and they would all like all you'd see was teeth
- 25:09Speaker 5: because they were just smiling from ear to ear. So
- 25:12Speaker 5: I don't know what he does there, and he doesn't
- 25:15Speaker 5: do like an interviews. Whatever he does, though, he galvanizes
- 25:20Speaker 5: that team all in the same direction and they love him.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Well. I mean, think back to when you were playing
- 25:27Speaker 2: and you were in college, because I know I could
- 25:31Speaker 2: speak for myself. I was extremely boring when I was
- 25:34Speaker 2: being interviewed.
- 25:35Speaker 4: I don't think i'd want to go back and watch it.
- 25:36Speaker 2: I remember, I feel like we were I remember Lacey
- 25:39Speaker 2: would be like a little bit, but when I was
- 25:40Speaker 2: doing interviews and stuff, she'd be like, can you say
- 25:42Speaker 2: you're so boring? Can you say something on my ephone?
- 25:45Speaker 5: Well?
- 25:45Speaker 4: Thanks, thanks, Lacy.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I'm like, well, yeah I can, but they don't want
- 25:49Speaker 2: me to. I could, but I just want to play
- 25:53Speaker 2: it safe. That's kind of how I didn't want to
- 25:55Speaker 2: like do it. It had worked so hard to get
- 25:57Speaker 2: a job, but I didn't want to like say anything
- 25:59Speaker 2: to blow that, you know what I mean. I don't
- 26:03Speaker 2: know he does. He feels like a guy that is
- 26:06Speaker 2: just very well liked within his team. And he's actually
- 26:13Speaker 2: and I will say, like when he first came in
- 26:15Speaker 2: for the injured Carson Back two seasons ago, he played,
- 26:18Speaker 2: I was like, yes, he is having success, but it's
- 26:21Speaker 2: it looks a little bit like it's by accident a
- 26:23Speaker 2: little bit. Things are happening a little off schedule. His
- 26:26Speaker 2: first read just happens to be open multiple times during
- 26:29Speaker 2: the game that he stepped in, and I was like,
- 26:31Speaker 2: I don't know if this is I don't know if
- 26:36Speaker 2: it's replicable weekend week out the way he was performing
- 26:39Speaker 2: in as a backup, so as a starting quarterback, didn't
- 26:41Speaker 2: know if that success was replicable. And I think during
- 26:44Speaker 2: the first part of the season last year, I don't
- 26:46Speaker 2: think it was. I think he was started still getting
- 26:49Speaker 2: his feet under him, still learning how to play every
- 26:52Speaker 2: single series of every single game, and having to be
- 26:55Speaker 2: go through his reads, play up play a little bit
- 26:57Speaker 2: off schedule. Go through his you know, five step drop
- 26:59Speaker 2: heres one first second, third checkdown type of deal. I
- 27:03Speaker 2: gotta slide the protection here. I can't just rely on
- 27:05Speaker 2: the lineman to pick it up. Yeah, so I think
- 27:08Speaker 2: you learned that. But by the end of the season
- 27:10Speaker 2: he was playing very, very good football.
- 27:13Speaker 5: No, I think he is somebody that's gonna be one
- 27:15Speaker 5: of the better quarterbacks in the SEC. And again I
- 27:18Speaker 5: brought all of that up about his personality and kind
- 27:20Speaker 5: of how quiet it is, and he's not going to
- 27:22Speaker 5: give you a lot in the interview to say. It
- 27:24Speaker 5: is very impressive that he can get his team to
- 27:26Speaker 5: follow him and love him and appreciate him and respect
- 27:29Speaker 5: him as much as he does. But being kind of
- 27:31Speaker 5: a quiet guy, a lot of times quarterbacks have to
- 27:34Speaker 5: have their voice heard the loudest. I'm not saying you're
- 27:36Speaker 5: obnoxious by any means. Well maybe you are, but you
- 27:39Speaker 5: just go out there and like you know, quarterback gets
- 27:42Speaker 5: in front of the room. The quarterback is the only
- 27:44Speaker 5: player on the team that has the ear of the
- 27:46Speaker 5: entire team. The best safety in the country. He could
- 27:49Speaker 5: get up there and then be offensive players that would
- 27:51Speaker 5: be like.
- 27:52Speaker 4: What's he doing? Almo's that guy?
- 27:53Speaker 5: Doing up there, right, quarterback, you get the attention of
- 27:55Speaker 5: the old team. So there's something he does that makes
- 27:59Speaker 5: that team love him and they would follow him into
- 28:01Speaker 5: the gates of hell. I swear to god, I've never
- 28:03Speaker 5: seen anything like it, So I give him a lot
- 28:05Speaker 5: of credit for that.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and to be likable as a quarterback, yeah, you
- 28:09Speaker 2: gotta have the right personality. But there's I played with
- 28:12Speaker 2: a lot of NFL all time greats, and there I
- 28:15Speaker 2: can tell you there's no one way to skin a cat.
- 28:18Speaker 2: There's no one personality that is like, Yep, that's how
- 28:20Speaker 2: the quarterback should be. Yep, that's what a quarterback should do. No,
- 28:23Speaker 2: there's different ways to do it. And I think that
- 28:25Speaker 2: people get caught in that trap, especially as a young player,
- 28:30Speaker 2: young athlete, thinking you have to be one exact way,
- 28:33Speaker 2: like thinking your personality types got it, I got to
- 28:36Speaker 2: do this this way because that's how so and so
- 28:38Speaker 2: did it. Then I look up to that person. Now,
- 28:40Speaker 2: it's good to replicate things that the greats do, but
- 28:43Speaker 2: to be liked you have to be genuine, right, you
- 28:46Speaker 2: have to be a genuine person. And because people whether
- 28:51Speaker 2: they're smart, dumb, whatever it is, they can usually read fake,
- 28:55Speaker 2: fake personality, And my god, have I been around fake
- 28:58Speaker 2: leaders the.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Worst You've been around the And.
- 29:04Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if you're a quiet personality, a loud personality, vocal,
- 29:09Speaker 2: it doesn't matter. If you were you and you play
- 29:12Speaker 2: the quarterbacks position, you're going to be people are going
- 29:15Speaker 2: to respect you.
- 29:16Speaker 5: Yeah right, you're good if you're good, and if everything
- 29:20Speaker 5: you're doing is authentic to your point.
- 29:21Speaker 2: If you're authentic. And and another way reason why they
- 29:24Speaker 2: probably like him is because he was probably balling in practice. True,
- 29:27Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 29:28Speaker 4: It's always fun when the backup quarterback we go out
- 29:30Speaker 4: there and ball and how scout team and so yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Exactly, and how fun is it. I'd like to go
- 29:35Speaker 2: see when he came in which players were they offensive
- 29:38Speaker 2: players or defensive players that were celebrating.
- 29:41Speaker 5: That's such a good point because I do remember some
- 29:43Speaker 5: of the top defensive guys.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Being like towels I jumping down. Why is that?
- 29:48Speaker 2: Because Gunner was playing scout team versus the defense so
- 29:52Speaker 2: close they see him every single day. He was probably
- 29:54Speaker 2: out there talking trash to him. I used to talk
- 29:56Speaker 2: trash on scout team when I got in the game.
- 29:58Speaker 2: The defensive people loved it, So I'd like to go
- 30:01Speaker 2: back and look to see which side is actually.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Cherir fil Yeah, so Georgia will be here on top
- 30:06Speaker 4: of the head.
- 30:07Speaker 5: Gods, you talked so nice about him, and then you
- 30:10Speaker 5: had to This man went after Gunnar Stockton's hairline in
- 30:12Speaker 5: three seconds.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Three seconds, hunt three.
- 30:16Speaker 2: It's the low hanging fruit. Touch.
- 30:21Speaker 4: There's not a lot of fruit up there. Jeez, pezz.

- 35:28Speaker 5: would have priced me on like Actually, I'll take that back.
- 35:32Speaker 4: I take that back.
- 35:32Speaker 5: This man gave me a whole box of my high
- 35:34Speaker 5: for our Baseball World Series thing, right, and we won.
- 35:37Speaker 4: And you know why we won. You know why we
- 35:39Speaker 4: won because of my Because we're hydrated. You know what
- 35:42Speaker 4: time hunt?
- 35:42Speaker 5: We started the championship game in a not well, it
- 35:46Speaker 5: was a nine year attend.
- 35:47Speaker 4: You I don't remember. I think we're nine. You're playing
- 35:49Speaker 4: up ten. You I don't remember.
- 35:50Speaker 5: World Series in Biloxi, Mississippi. First pitch of the championship
- 35:54Speaker 5: game ten to fifteen PM two.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Last pitch.
- 36:01Speaker 4: I think it was like eleven fourteen.
- 36:03Speaker 5: Because there was a Sydney City ordinance because of the
- 36:06Speaker 5: lights couldn't be on past eleven o'clock or something. They
- 36:11Speaker 5: asked them to extend it to eleven fifteen, and they did,
- 36:13Speaker 5: and they were like, hey, this game is gonna get caught,
- 36:16Speaker 5: like the lights are going to go off in this
- 36:17Speaker 5: place at eleven fourteen. They had cops in like the
- 36:20Speaker 5: parking lot waiting. But it's okay. We won Conmits right like,
- 36:25Speaker 5: we were up by pretty good. I felt that if
- 36:27Speaker 5: it had been like a one run game, that had
- 36:28Speaker 5: been tough. So luckily we were at multiple runs, but
- 36:30Speaker 5: we were hydrated.
- 36:31Speaker 4: The reason we won must have been drinking liquid IV.
- 36:34Speaker 4: I'll say it. You don't, I'll say it.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Our guy, Cole Kubrick had Liquid IV over there. Even
- 36:42Speaker 5: hydrat stuff will kill you obviously not. But who's a
- 36:47Speaker 5: salesman who brought my high down here to replace his
- 36:50Speaker 5: liquid IV?
- 36:51Speaker 2: That's right, you did.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Always be closing, always be repping like a billboard. You've
- 36:58Speaker 5: never seen a logo so big as on our heads.
- 37:03Speaker 2: He's very hard sheds.
- 37:07Speaker 5: Dude, Okay, so real quick to finish up our Georgia conversation.
- 37:11Speaker 4: I know we're seeing squirrels here. There's too many people
- 37:13Speaker 4: in here for us not to.
- 37:14Speaker 5: I was walking by and I saw somebody that covers Georgia, know,
- 37:19Speaker 5: Brook Sawston, and he does a great job breaking down
- 37:21Speaker 5: film Like I actually respect his film breakdowns. And you
- 37:23Speaker 5: know that it takes a lot for me to say
- 37:25Speaker 5: that Brook Sawson. He's really good. I think it's like
- 37:29Speaker 5: the film guy or something on social media.
- 37:32Speaker 4: I'll have to check that out.
- 37:33Speaker 5: And I said, hey, tell me, like we just had
- 37:36Speaker 5: a Gunner stocking segment. The guy says like three words
- 37:38Speaker 5: and everybody loves him, and I was like, why he
- 37:41Speaker 5: goes they would die for him?
- 37:44Speaker 4: He said they would die for him. I said, dude,
- 37:47Speaker 4: we just kind of said the same thing.
- 37:48Speaker 5: I was like, we talked about like they'd follow him
- 37:51Speaker 5: into the gates of hell. He goes, no, no, no,
- 37:53Speaker 5: he would sprint past them to the gates and then
- 37:56Speaker 5: they would follow him.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Dude, there's something about the guy. The man said they
- 38:00Speaker 4: would die for him.
- 38:03Speaker 5: That's a pretty strong statement. And I think I like
- 38:07Speaker 5: you a lot. Yeah, you and I had a great
- 38:09Speaker 5: time in college.
- 38:10Speaker 2: You choose your next word wisely, bud to die. That's
- 38:16Speaker 2: that's like, that's forever.
- 38:17Speaker 5: That kind of got I kind of got fired up
- 38:19Speaker 5: when he said it. I'm like, Okay, there's something there.
- 38:21Speaker 5: It's real. We don't know what it is because we
- 38:23Speaker 5: don't see it, but there's something there.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Man said they die.
- 38:26Speaker 2: For himsh yeah, and that is that is obviously a
- 38:33Speaker 2: little hyperbolic a little bit, but it's just kind of
- 38:37Speaker 2: what it like, kind of what we're talking about. Whatever
- 38:42Speaker 2: it is, however you like to explain it, however you
- 38:46Speaker 2: think about it. When you think of a leader, when
- 38:47Speaker 2: you think of a quarterback and that position, he's got
- 38:50Speaker 2: whatever it is. So he's got that it factor when
- 38:53Speaker 2: it comes to at least the leadership, and his play
- 38:56Speaker 2: on the field did back that up a lot last year.
- 38:58Speaker 2: And like, look, I know that George is good and
- 39:01Speaker 2: they got talent, but he can't apologize for the talent
- 39:04Speaker 2: that he's got around them. So I went to Georgia,
- 39:06Speaker 2: but we were talking like the opposite about Lenora Sellers.
- 39:08Speaker 2: He doesn't have that talent. I mean, that's just the
- 39:11Speaker 2: way it is. You chose to go there, right, Yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 2: Gunner has a great opportunity around with a great team
- 39:16Speaker 2: with probably the best coach in college football.
- 39:19Speaker 5: So yeah, sitting here in Tampa, continuing our coverage of
- 39:22Speaker 5: SEC media Days, Brock Vanderslooth just walked by us.
- 39:26Speaker 4: I wonder how he's gonna.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Play this year?
- 39:30Speaker 4: Uh yeah Kentucky.
- 39:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, Londa knows what I'm talking about.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Vanderslooth. You just walked dry Bys.
- 39:39Speaker 2: A lot of squirrels in here. Are you the most
- 39:41Speaker 2: you medicated?
- 39:42Speaker 4: Not as of right now.
- 39:44Speaker 1: No.
- 39:45Speaker 4: I need to be, need to be, definitely need to be.
- 39:50Speaker 5: Didn't say great last night, you know, I woke up
- 39:54Speaker 5: use the restroom, saw my wife at texting me.
- 39:56Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, hey, I didn't talked to you. I
- 39:58Speaker 4: want to have a conversation.
- 39:59Speaker 5: So I had a little converse station with missus, like
- 40:01Speaker 5: in the middle of the night because my in laws
- 40:03Speaker 5: are at my house right now, so you know, they
- 40:04Speaker 5: get she gets a chance to hang out with mom
- 40:07Speaker 5: and dad, which I know she's enjoying, but I was like, couldn't.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Go back to bed after it? Is that is that
- 40:11Speaker 4: what getting old is all about?
- 40:13Speaker 5: Always saying, man, I slept bad last night, having a
- 40:15Speaker 5: pee a lot.
- 40:16Speaker 4: I my wife.
- 40:19Speaker 5: This is this is Tami, Katie wrote me. She goes
- 40:22Speaker 5: and like she's like, basically, well, yeah, I mean you
- 40:24Speaker 5: go over two hours so I figured.
- 40:29Speaker 1: It.
- 40:29Speaker 2: See it at some point.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Oh it's funny because it's true.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 40:35Speaker 4: I'm hydrated, my high, drink my high.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Uh. We had keeping food last night, Oh we did.
- 40:45Speaker 5: We had an interesting I had an interesting dinner last night.
- 40:48Speaker 5: It was it was with the SEC network in US.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Basically I don't a lot.
- 40:57Speaker 4: I don't either. Is good food.
- 40:58Speaker 5: The bread, oh my god, it was incredible. Uh steak
- 41:03Speaker 5: like little skirty steak. Okay, everything else was incredible though.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very good, very much enjoyed it. It's something
- 41:10Speaker 2: you don't get to eat it very often. But it
- 41:11Speaker 2: was kind of right down the right down the way
- 41:13Speaker 2: from us. It was on the water, you know, for
- 41:16Speaker 2: the most part it was. It was a good group there.
- 41:18Speaker 2: You know, some we are a little chatty down to
- 41:19Speaker 2: the end.
- 41:19Speaker 5: But you know, don't show up as the last person
- 41:26Speaker 5: to a meal like that.
- 41:28Speaker 4: You never know who you're gonna sit by.
- 41:29Speaker 5: And we don't know the person by the way, so
- 41:31Speaker 5: we're not like hiding the information.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Yeah, chatty, Chatty, Oh my god. I looked at Matt
- 41:37Speaker 4: one time.
- 41:37Speaker 5: I'm like, I'm just gonna get up and like act
- 41:39Speaker 5: like I'm looking at something over there.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of take this call. Yeah, Katie's call makes it.
- 41:45Speaker 2: You know, she knows it's one every two hours.
- 41:47Speaker 4: Oh my gosh. Great food.
- 41:50Speaker 5: Though everybody else was great, as they always are.
- 41:53Speaker 2: I will say, though, South South Louisiana, we still got it.
- 41:57Speaker 2: We still got to beat. We still got the food beat.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:59Speaker 2: I got like a I can fish sandwich shape. But
- 42:01Speaker 2: it was like it was like I don't know, Yeah,
- 42:04Speaker 2: it was like one of the top Cuban dishes for whatever. Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 5: The chatty guys sitting next to me, I'm like, but
- 42:09Speaker 5: like I'm not getting seafood.
- 42:11Speaker 4: That's like, who're in Florida. I'm like, okay, it's not Louisiana. Chatty. Yeah,

- 44:20Speaker 5: a lot of people that were without power for a
- 44:22Speaker 5: long time, including like the stores that were on the grid. Right,
- 44:25Speaker 5: I mean it's a big time power outage. Guess what
- 44:27Speaker 5: we didn't lose, uh power? That's right power? You know
- 44:31Speaker 5: why because we have the whole home generator. As soon
- 44:34Speaker 5: as power goes out, you don't really hear it. But
- 44:37Speaker 5: I like to say that because it gives me the
- 44:39Speaker 5: like the ultimate peace of mind. That little mmm that
