- 0:49And I'm going to talk to you about after right now, before we

- 0:55else to take the Autism test? Please, put in a comment down
- 0:58below and let's have the conversation with you every to
- 1:00respond to every single comment. So yeah, please do that.
- 1:03You're awesome. Okay.
- 1:04I want if you'll follow me on Instagram and Twitter please do
- 1:06so, I actually have extra content on there to soup it up,
- 1:10right then. So this is how you check for an
- 1:12Autism Spectrum test. So, Basically, there are
- 1:15different quotients for different types of things that
- 1:18happen in neurologically in your brain.
- 1:20So, autism is a neurodevelopmental neurological
- 1:22condition that impacts the, communicative part of the brain
- 1:25called the Triad of impairment. And this comes down to things
- 1:28like social interaction and knowing kind of complex written
- 1:33and verbal instruction. And trying to follow instruction
- 1:36and guided instruction, all those things are very confusing
- 1:39because it's a communicative issue, is a communication
- 1:41disorder and it hits people that it can also leave A lot of
- 1:44people, if selective mutism and nonverbal as well.
- 1:48Because a lot of autistic people are non-verbal, meaning they
- 1:51cannot speak and they cannot have a vocabulary as Grand as
- 1:54mine and I might, it's not very hard ground.
- 1:56Actually, to be honest with you, I watch a lot of movies and
- 1:58that's pretty much how I got my vocabulary.
- 2:00Yeah, big thumbs up. If anybody else got their
- 2:02vocabulary for the movie. Love you.
- 2:04So knowing if you're on the awesome second it can be quite
- 2:07difficult. If you haven't got access to a,
- 2:10you know, you don't want to kind of, let me put this way.
- 2:12You'd want to go out shell out for a private diagnosis or If
- 2:14you're in America, you don't claim with your insurance and
- 2:16get all this, you know, money paid out to test something and
- 2:20then it come back - because you have no indication that you were
- 2:23going to be on the autism spectrum.
- 2:24We just did it. You don't have waste money is
- 2:25what I'm trying to say or waste anybody's time, including your
- 2:27own. So, there are ways you can do
- 2:29this at home to make sure you can kind of have a good general
- 2:32idea. If you're on the autism spectrum
- 2:34and where to go from there. So, this is, my advice, there is
- 2:37something called an e, q-- test, which I will leave a link for in
- 2:41the description below where you can get the actual test.
- 2:43So you can See for yourself and what happens is this, you
- 2:46basically go online and the IQ test consists of a stands for
- 2:50awesome. So it's an awesome quote to test
- 2:51kind of like an IQ test for autism.
- 2:53Only not intelligence. Just autism characteristics.
- 2:56And there is about I'd say there's a fart between 30 and 50
- 2:59questions and those questions stem from anything from.
- 3:04I mean, like, do you like going out, or do you like going to
- 3:06library, you know, do you do you enjoy hanging out with friends
- 3:09or you prefer to watch like a documentary kind of questions
- 3:12that really make you think about You and your personality and
- 3:15your personal traits. Now, I did this test and I can't
- 3:18remember the score I got on it, but it was the first step I use
- 3:21to actually, actually go on and forward for an awesome selection
- 3:25test. Now, I'm going to explain this
- 3:26is the one I'm going to explain about the bottom test online.
- 3:29Then explain how you take that test and then you apply that to
- 3:31a real life situation, to go to the doctors and whatever and how
- 3:33you get an official diagnosis, because I'm going to take you to
- 3:35the whole process. So the online test consists of
- 3:39all these questions and then you fill out this, a kind of like
- 3:41this question. I think it's got like that radio
- 3:43button thing like, you know, you Click whichever one applies to
- 3:45you and I end of it, gives you a calculated score.
- 3:48Now the calculated score is somewhere between a some like 29
- 3:52and 49 is going to be like the range where you can see.
- 3:56If you're in that range of tells you if it's moderate to severe
- 3:59autism spectrum, potentially, it doesn't say like for, you know,
- 4:02it can't tell you if it's direct because they're not, it's not on
- 4:04a crane, the claim. Doctor, there's not accredited
- 4:07by by any medical association. It's just an online kind of form
- 4:11that you use, but it's a good indication to give you Some kind
- 4:14of pointer if you are on the Spectrum and we're about, you
- 4:17actually fit on that Spectrum. So I highly recommend checking
- 4:20out that one first and then seeing if you're on the
- 4:22Spectrum, now, what do you do once you get this, see, it says
- 4:25that you are moderately on the Spectrum and you want to, you
- 4:28know, investigate further. Well, I'm glad you asked, so you
- 4:31take the a cuter score and then what you do is you find your
- 4:34family friends or your old girlfriend, or boyfriend, or
- 4:37whatever. And you have them write down a
- 4:38list of all your quirks and characteristics and different
- 4:41things that they might find a slightly different to the
- 4:43average neurotypical person. Even now you take that test and
- 4:47your trait and you phone your doctor, or you go to see your
- 4:49doctor say, hey, can I have a referral to an Autism Specialist
- 4:53or an Autism assessment now? Your doctor should have it UK.
- 4:57They may interview you and ask you little questions on why you
- 4:59think, so. And you can also present those
- 5:01findings and those papers to them, they made this qualifying
- 5:04the online tests because it's just an online test is not
- 5:06credited by any medical association.
- 5:08Yada yada what I was telling you earlier, but still it's a good
- 5:11indicator and it's a good way for them to, you know, you've
- 5:13still done Still told you something now, they should, they
- 5:17will arrange for you to see somebody of, to get an Autism
- 5:20Spectrum, kind of testing or a, an assessment.
- 5:23And the assessment usually is in three parts.
- 5:26I may be too passive. Think mine was two or three
- 5:28parts and typically what people go for now, when you are
- 5:32presenting yourself to the people, it's kind of like a
- 5:35formal interview. They're going to ask you in a
- 5:36few questions and ask you to fill out other forms.
- 5:39One of those forms. On one's question is, isn't it?
- 5:41Cute s. Now, there's is accredited by an
- 5:44Vishal body and and it will be officially accredited by medical
- 5:47associations. But in terms of the one you
- 5:50have, it's worth hanging them that as an evidential document
- 5:53before going there, because it just helps speed up the process
- 5:55because it could take a while for the process, all that data.
- 5:58And then have some kind of some kind of diagnostic criteria for
- 6:01you to then have going forward. You know it's nicer to have It
- 6:06sped up a little bit because you don't have anything like days
- 6:08and days and then on this so doing that doing that test and
- 6:11then they will compile all the What they do is they usually
- 6:15compiling evidence and write up a report and in that report is
- 6:18your Diagnostic and report that you can keep and hold and hang
- 6:21onto for well, you know, the rest of your life or whatever it
- 6:23is you're doing and that is how you get your diagnostic, you
- 6:28know, papers and stuff like that.
- 6:29And it may take a year waiting list to get onto a home to an
- 6:34assessment, but it's well worth the wait.
- 6:35Now, a lot of people will ask a question.
- 6:37Okay, so I did the IQ test that says, I'm on the Spectrum, but
- 6:39do I really need an official diagnosis?
- 6:41And the simple answer to me to you is Yes, from me to you is.
- 6:45Yes, and it's simply this an Autism diagnosis will help you
- 6:49access support and help if you need it.
- 6:52Because without it, you won't be able to access those support.
- 6:54So say you need, you know, counseling therapy,
- 6:56Psychotherapy, you might need emotional therapy, might need
- 7:00like counseling every week, but you can't access those because
- 7:04they're only for people on the autism spectrum and how do you
- 7:06prove you have it? Well, you have a diagnosis.
- 7:08So in those respect, I would say, yeah.
- 7:10You definitely need a diagnosis to access support, but also on
- 7:13the flip side, a lot of people Don't like to be defined by
- 7:15labels and don't really feel like they need any extra support
- 7:19in their life, which is absolutely fine.
- 7:20And if you want to just know that you're on the Spectrum
- 7:22without actually an official diagnosis, that's also awesome
- 7:25too. Because we're on the video we
- 7:27all need to do what's best for us.
- 7:28And we need to do is best for our livelihood in our life.
- 7:31So you do what is best for you. And this is just my advice for
- 7:34me, you know, like this is just how I did it and this is just my
- 7:36advice on it to make sure that I'm helping you the best.
