- 0:59Speaker 3: Juicy Scoop.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to Juicy Scoop. Well, I have a
- 1:04Speaker 2: very juicy, great guest, friend of mine, Jax Taylor, restaurateur.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Well, yes, but you weren't at my grand opening this weekend.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Well, I was at a wedding this weekend, but I
- 1:16Speaker 2: went to Jax's. Restaurant, which is right on Ventura Boulevard.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Great location.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Beautiful.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I talked about it because we saw the villain show,
- 1:25Speaker 2: which premiered, which we're going to get into that. But
- 1:29Speaker 2: right when you sat down, you were talking about hockey.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:33Speaker 2: And I said, oh, have you heard of the team
- 1:37Speaker 2: called the Bruins?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Nonchalantly. Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 2: So my cousin is Charlie McAvoy.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And that's okay. For those of you who don't know
- 1:44Speaker 1: who hockey players, that's like saying, do you know who
- 1:46Speaker 1: Wayne Gretzky is? Like he's really, really good. So she
- 1:49Speaker 1: just nonchalantly came over. By the way, do you know
- 1:52Speaker 1: who this is? Most people wouldn't know that don't know
- 1:53Speaker 1: the game, but if you know the game, everybody knows
- 1:55Speaker 1: who Charlie McAvoy is. So the relation is.
- 2:00Speaker 2: My dad and little Charlie, the players, grandmother were brother
- 2:06Speaker 2: and sister.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:07Speaker 2: So big Charlie, who is his dad, we were first cousins.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:12Speaker 2: And our families did a lot together and always talked.
- 2:16Speaker 2: My dad and the grandma were really, really close. Sister, brother, sister, very,
- 2:20Speaker 2: very close. But they grew up on the East Coast.
- 2:23Speaker 2: So like I would get the scoop that he was
- 2:26Speaker 2: taking his son to do hockey, like really young. Like
- 2:30Speaker 2: we'd see all the photos and even, and the girls
- 2:32Speaker 2: played too. And I would be like, wow, you know,
- 2:35Speaker 2: because growing up here, I didn't know anybody that played hockey. Anyway,
- 2:38Speaker 2: so all those times that big Charlie took little Charlie,
- 2:42Speaker 2: it all paid off because he's super successful and he
- 2:45Speaker 2: just got married.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And he just got, yeah. Yeah. And so they're great. Wow,
- 2:47Speaker 1: that's amazing.
- 2:48Speaker 2: But so, listen, I'll reach out.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Please, I would love a jersey for my bar. Yes. Because,
- 2:54Speaker 1: like I said, I collect hockey jerseys with signatures and stuff. So, man,
- 2:57Speaker 1: if you can make that happen.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I think I can make it happen.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Okay, that would be awesome. I think I can make
- 3:01Speaker 1: it happen. That would be awesome.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And then, of course, if they come out here and
- 3:04Speaker 2: play again, maybe we can.
- 3:05Speaker 1: All go together. Oh, that would be great.
- 3:07Speaker 2: So that would be fun because we've gone to a
- 3:08Speaker 2: couple games. But on a sad note, we just want
- 3:12Speaker 2: to cover– Very shocking news. Matthew Perry of Friends passed away.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And basically what the reports are is he played pickleball.
- 3:22Speaker 2: As we know, he wrote a book. He was a
- 3:24Speaker 2: recovered addict of prescription drugs. Vicodin was really his thing.
- 3:29Speaker 2: And he sent his assistant off to go pick up
- 3:32Speaker 2: a new iPhone and some glasses. And when the assistant
- 3:35Speaker 2: came back, you know, he was in the jacuzzi, unresponsive.
- 3:39Speaker 3: So.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 3:41Speaker 2: I mean, from what it sounds, there was one prescription
- 3:43Speaker 2: drug he was on that I think was like for
- 3:45Speaker 2: a heart condition. So I think what probably happened is
- 3:48Speaker 2: I think he probably suffered a heart attack and that
- 3:50Speaker 2: is why you don't go in pools and jacuzzis alone.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Though I know a lot of people going on jacuzzi
- 3:55Speaker 2: alone because you live by yourself.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I mean, it's already good just to be in a
- 3:57Speaker 1: jacuzzi alone because it's so hot and it's not really good.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Your insides are cooking.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So like, let that kind of be a lesson too,
- 4:03Speaker 2: like not to do that, but really, really sad. You know,
- 4:07Speaker 2: we all loved Friends and your show, Vanderpump Rules, is
- 4:12Speaker 2: like a modern day realistic version of Friends. And I
- 4:14Speaker 2: think that's why it's had such a big resurgence with
- 4:17Speaker 2: Gen Z. They all started watching it when we could
- 4:20Speaker 2: start streaming it. Really sad and I, I mean, but
- 4:24Speaker 2: I'm like happy that they had that reunion like a
- 4:26Speaker 2: year ago.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Even when I watched that reunion, he seemed like he
- 4:28Speaker 1: was really in a dark place. I mean, he just
- 4:30Speaker 1: seemed really sad. Yeah. You know, it just seemed, he's
- 4:32Speaker 1: almost seems like nobody cared about him. You know what
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm saying? He's like, no one's going to care if
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'm here or not. Like he just, and then when
- 4:37Speaker 1: they said we all keep in touch and then he goes, well,
- 4:39Speaker 1: no one calls me. Did you remember that? Yes.
- 4:41Speaker 2: But he did say Jennifer Aniston always did.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Oh, he did. Okay.
- 4:44Speaker 2: And, and then, then the book came out after that. Okay.
- 4:47Speaker 2: So then I think he was like on a better
- 4:50Speaker 2: path of like, you know, acknowledging it. And I don't
- 4:53Speaker 2: know if you know that Keith Morrison is a stepdad
- 4:56Speaker 2: from Dateline.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah.
- 4:57Speaker 2: He's been a stepdad.
- 4:58Speaker 1: What did he say?
- 4:59Speaker 2: I mean, they just showed a photo of them like
- 5:01Speaker 2: going to the house that you can't even imagine, like
- 5:03Speaker 2: with the mom and everything, what that must be like.
- 5:05Speaker 2: So very, very sad news, but.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You never know what people are going through too. And like,
- 5:10Speaker 1: it seemed like in all his interviews, I've been kind
- 5:12Speaker 1: of watching online and stuff. You just see how sad
- 5:14Speaker 1: he was and just seem like, Nobody was going to
- 5:16Speaker 1: care if I die. I didn't think I was going
- 5:17Speaker 1: to be shocked when I die.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he did say a lot of things like that.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And I did think in that reunion, and I talked
- 5:25Speaker 2: about it too, because, you know, and I said he
- 5:26Speaker 2: seemed like bitter.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 2: He kind of seemed bitter. And I think he had
- 5:31Speaker 2: in the book, he was really honest about a lot
- 5:34Speaker 2: of his insecurities, even though he was like so naturally
- 5:36Speaker 2: talented comedically, you know, when you think about like the show,
- 5:41Speaker 2: I mean, they all were so funny in their, in their,
- 5:44Speaker 2: They all were great, all six of them.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Why the show was so successful? Because everybody was good
- 5:48Speaker 1: on it.
- 5:49Speaker 2: But he went on to have some more movies and success.
- 5:53Speaker 2: But then I think that waned off because he started
- 5:55Speaker 2: having the prescription addiction to the Vicodin. So anyway, very,
- 6:02Speaker 2: very sad. Love to all of his friends and family,
- 6:05Speaker 2: which he had a lot.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Okay, now.
- 6:08Speaker 2: This just broke this morning. So I'm going to tell
- 6:10Speaker 2: you all about it because I read it. Not to
- 6:12Speaker 2: sound like Sutton from Beverly Hills, but I do read big,
- 6:15Speaker 2: long articles. This is a big, long article from the
- 6:19Speaker 2: Vanity Fair inside the Real Housewives Reckoning that's rocking Bravo.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And so this is, so to fill you in.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Bethany Frankel has been talking about this reality reckoning. And
- 6:32Speaker 2: a lot of people think that this, because of her
- 6:35Speaker 2: talking about reality reckoning on her podcast and on her
- 6:38Speaker 2: social media, you know, how screwed up everything is over
- 6:41Speaker 2: at Bravo now that she's no longer part of it,
- 6:44Speaker 2: that somehow the article was starting to be written because
- 6:48Speaker 2: of her. The inside scoop I got is that this
- 6:50Speaker 2: article has been in the works for a really long time.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And she found out about it in which then she
- 6:56Speaker 2: hopped onto it. So I don't know which came first,
- 6:57Speaker 2: the chicken or the egg.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Is she bitter at the network for letting her go
- 7:01Speaker 1: or did she leave on her own? Or why is
- 7:04Speaker 1: she doing this?
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think in a nutshell, this is it. I think
- 7:08Speaker 2: that somewhere in the last six months or last five, three, four,
- 7:13Speaker 2: I don't know, a few months, She kind of realized
- 7:15Speaker 2: that Bravo and her are done with each other.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And then she was like, I'm fucking burning the bridge. Like,
- 7:23Speaker 2: if I am no longer going to be part of
- 7:25Speaker 2: this machine, as she says, I'm going to break down
- 7:28Speaker 2: the machine. And I'm going to fucking destroy. I want
- 7:31Speaker 2: to go down in history as like, remember when Bravo
- 7:34Speaker 2: was happening in 2023? Well, now it's not. I honestly think.
- 7:39Speaker 2: And in doing it, she's doing it in like a
- 7:41Speaker 2: righteous way. Like these people are being taken advantage. Let's
- 7:44Speaker 2: do a, let's join SAG after. Let's make sure we
- 7:47Speaker 2: have a union. They are being forced to drink. They're
- 7:51Speaker 2: forced to do this and that.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Meanwhile, like, you know. No one's putting a gun to
- 7:55Speaker 1: our head. Okay. So I don't know why she's saying
- 7:58Speaker 1: things like this. She also has a gazillion dollars in
- 8:00Speaker 1: the bank. Okay. So she doesn't care if she burns bridges.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Where all of us, this is our job. This is
- 8:05Speaker 1: our home. And you're just bashing our network. Like I said,
- 8:08Speaker 1: no one's making us do this. This is, you know,
- 8:10Speaker 1: this is a privilege, not a right. So I, I
- 8:13Speaker 1: don't agree with, and also using Raquel as like a pawn.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Raquel is very fragile. Okay. She's in a fragile state.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You're using somebody who just went through one of the
- 8:22Speaker 1: biggest reality catastrophes known to man. And you're kind of
- 8:25Speaker 1: using her as a, as a pawn. And I just
- 8:27Speaker 1: don't think that's right, personally. I don't know what you think.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Well, I do think that. And I, you know, as
- 8:32Speaker 2: far as someone who followed it all, you know, I'm
- 8:35Speaker 2: a fan of the shows. I talk about the shows.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I know a lot of you.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Are you a fan of Bethany?
- 8:41Speaker 2: No, I'm not a fan of Bethany.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I'm not.
- 8:43Speaker 2: I mean, I think she's very hypocritical and I think
- 8:46Speaker 2: she's very easy to see through.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 2: However, As someone who's watched the shows for all the times,
- 8:51Speaker 2: I've certainly enjoyed her. I definitely think she makes great TV.
- 8:53Speaker 2: And she knows she does.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And she says it.
- 8:55Speaker 2: And one of the things she says right at the
- 8:57Speaker 2: top of the article, it says, everybody wants the bag
- 9:01Speaker 2: of shit to not be on them at all times,
- 9:03Speaker 2: Frankel told Vanity Fair. So then she goes, in July,
- 9:08Speaker 2: she called for her former reality TV peers to unionize
- 9:11Speaker 2: and directed them to legal resources. She describes some of
- 9:14Speaker 2: these castmates and crew as, quote, people I never would
- 9:17Speaker 2: have given the time of day, who I judged through
- 9:20Speaker 2: a toxic process and who may not have a past
- 9:23Speaker 2: I normally respect, but who have been tossed away after
- 9:27Speaker 2: being used like trash. It's kill or be killed. She
- 9:30Speaker 2: has all these questions. I mean, she has all these
- 9:32Speaker 2: analogies where she's like, reality show is a game. And,
- 9:35Speaker 2: you know, if I'm the quarterback and you don't catch
- 9:37Speaker 2: the ball and like, it's just... Anyway, so she talks
- 9:40Speaker 2: about it like that. So.
- 9:43Speaker 2: So yeah, I think that now that she's done with
- 9:45Speaker 2: it and she realizes that all, she was pitching a
- 9:48Speaker 2: bunch of shows prior to the reality reckoning.
- 9:52Speaker 1: With Bravo or any network? To Bravo. Okay.
- 9:54Speaker 2: My understanding.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And it didn't work out.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Okay. So now she's there.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Clay, the plate is clean. There's nothing like you're telling
- 10:02Speaker 2: me you had something in production called, you know, the
- 10:06Speaker 2: real housewives of Connecticut and you were going to be
- 10:08Speaker 2: the producer of it, which is, I believe one of
- 10:09Speaker 2: the things she was pitching. Cause she has a home
- 10:11Speaker 2: in Connecticut. If that was in production and being filmed
- 10:14Speaker 2: right now, do you think that she would be giving
- 10:16Speaker 2: these quotes?
- 10:18Speaker 1: No, no. And I honestly didn't allow, I didn't know.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I didn't think Bravo Talent were allowed to be producers.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Is that?
- 10:24Speaker 2: Well, I think, I think she was no longer on
- 10:27Speaker 2: the shows.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:28Speaker 2: And then she had her, she was putting her own
- 10:31Speaker 2: shows together. There was another one with these women in
- 10:33Speaker 2: Miami that she was going to do like a mommy
- 10:37Speaker 2: girl show in Miami with this woman who has come
- 10:40Speaker 2: out and said how screw, how awful the contract was. Right.
- 10:44Speaker 2: That she was putting forth. Bethany was as a producer
- 10:47Speaker 2: and now she's saying how awful these contracts are from
- 10:50Speaker 2: Bravo yet she was attempting to be the Andy Cohen
- 10:53Speaker 2: at one point when all those shows didn't go and
- 10:56Speaker 2: she's just like the rest of us with a podcast
- 10:59Speaker 2: talking about it guess what Andy's evil producers are manipulative
- 11:05Speaker 2: and they're forcing people to drink and act like assholes
- 11:09Speaker 2: on camera.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I mean I hate that she's just throwing everybody in
- 11:11Speaker 1: the lump with this maybe she on her show they
- 11:13Speaker 1: were doing that but like Yes, of course they supply alcohol.
- 11:17Speaker 1: But like I said, I just don't understand like throwing
- 11:19Speaker 1: everybody under the bus like this and then just kind
- 11:21Speaker 1: of saying, well, this is how it is and this
- 11:22Speaker 1: is how it is. I'm very happy in my world
- 11:25Speaker 1: and I'm not currently on the network. And yeah, they
- 11:29Speaker 1: could have done certain people wrong on our show. But
- 11:31Speaker 1: like I said, we all want to be part of it.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Like we all like it. We all enjoy it. Like
- 11:35Speaker 1: no one's putting a gun to our head. So it's
- 11:37Speaker 1: like I just don't understand. I don't understand that. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: think it sounds like she's bitter to me. It sounds
- 11:41Speaker 1: like she's bitter to me. It sounds like they're not
- 11:43Speaker 1: giving her what she wants and she has money in
- 11:44Speaker 1: the bank so she can go after them and don't
- 11:47Speaker 1: have to worry about it. So where other people in
- 11:49Speaker 1: reality don't really have the luxury of going after them
- 11:53Speaker 1: because they just can't afford it.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I mean, sometimes being super righteous and saying whatever the
- 11:57Speaker 2: fuck you want, that is a luxury.
- 11:59Speaker 1: That is a luxury. That is a luxury. I mean,
- 12:01Speaker 1: it's nice to be able to do that and that's
- 12:03Speaker 1: great for her, but I don't think she should lump
- 12:04Speaker 1: everybody in and saying, oh, they do this on all shows.
- 12:07Speaker 1: It sounds like she's saying it's all shows. She needs
- 12:09Speaker 1: to not say that. Like, that's not true.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I'm just reading. I don't know what
- 12:13Speaker 2: she's saying about that.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Is it the network in general she's going after? NBC?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Or is she going after Bravo specifically? Or is she
- 12:18Speaker 1: going after.
- 12:19Speaker 2: She basically has put together or talked to some attorneys,
- 12:24Speaker 2: but she has not filed a lawsuit herself or it's
- 12:27Speaker 2: Bethany Frankel versus whatever. She's kind of putting it out
- 12:30Speaker 2: there PR wise and encouraging former reality stars to contact
- 12:35Speaker 2: attorneys to put forth lawsuits. That's my understanding.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Good luck going up against NBC. They got lawyers on
- 12:42Speaker 1: lawyers on lawyers on lawyers. I don't care how much
- 12:44Speaker 1: money you have. Good luck.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Well, Leah McSweeney has filed a lawsuit. Do you remember her?
- 12:50Speaker 2: She was on Real Housewives of New York, I think
- 12:52Speaker 2: only two or three seasons. And she was kind of
- 12:53Speaker 2: the younger girl that joined. And according to this article,
- 12:58Speaker 2: she was sober for nine years. But as she was
- 13:01Speaker 2: going through the interview process, she admits herself that she
- 13:04Speaker 2: told him, hey, I'm able to drink now. I'm like, okay,
- 13:07Speaker 2: do whatever you want. So- Then when she starts filming,
- 13:10Speaker 2: she gets so drunk and she says, well, right before
- 13:14Speaker 2: this really drunk moment, a producer said, this shit's boring.
- 13:17Speaker 2: We got to like up it up. And then she
- 13:21Speaker 2: allegedly then, well, not allegedly, then she gets very drunk
- 13:24Speaker 2: because we see it. And she's naked with just a
- 13:26Speaker 2: g-string on and she takes a tiki torch at Ramona
- 13:30Speaker 2: Hampton's house and throws it in the water. And it's
- 13:32Speaker 2: an iconic moment that people talk about.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:35Speaker 2: So then they're like, okay, then The next season she
- 13:38Speaker 2: gets sober and she says, while I was sober, my
- 13:43Speaker 2: grandmother was in hospice. And I said, I don't know
- 13:47Speaker 2: if I should go to this Hamptons thing because my
- 13:49Speaker 2: grandmother's really sick. And the producer said, you can stay
- 13:53Speaker 2: with your grandmother or you can come. And as soon
- 13:55Speaker 2: as you want to leave, we'll arrange for you to leave.
- 13:57Speaker 1: It's up to you.
- 13:58Speaker 2: So then she says, I went, but I felt like,
- 14:03Speaker 2: even though they said that I didn't have to go,
- 14:04Speaker 2: I felt like I should go. And then Heather Gay
- 14:08Speaker 2: has said, who's on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,
- 14:11Speaker 2: at one point, she's like, even if I was in
- 14:13Speaker 2: that position, I'd probably go to please my employers. Well,
- 14:19Speaker 2: I think anybody with any job I worked on Chelsea.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Look at athletes. Look at a pitcher who breaks his arm.
- 14:26Speaker 1: He wants to get his ass back in because he's
- 14:28Speaker 1: going to lose his job out to somebody else. Look at,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I mean, there wasn't even a Friday reference. Remember when
- 14:32Speaker 1: Rachel had her baby, she wanted to come back to
- 14:35Speaker 1: work faster because she was going to lose her job
- 14:36Speaker 1: to the good looking guy. Remember? That would happen in
- 14:38Speaker 1: any job. That's going to happen to you. You can't
- 14:40Speaker 1: just pigeonhole it to reality TV. Listen, I know. Every job.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's a competitive world. That's the world we live in.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It's competitive.
- 14:47Speaker 2: So my dad died. He died on a Friday. And
- 14:52Speaker 2: that morning I said, hey, I'm not coming in. My
- 14:54Speaker 2: dad has died.
- 14:55Speaker 1: He was in hospice.
- 14:56Speaker 2: I worked on a TV show, Chelsea Lely. Everyone was
- 14:59Speaker 2: very nice about it. And I said, but we're not
- 15:03Speaker 2: going to have, he got cremated. If you cremate someone,
- 15:06Speaker 2: it takes longer. So you have a funeral or whatever
- 15:10Speaker 2: a little bit later. So I'm like, they're like, take
- 15:13Speaker 2: as much time as you want. I go, well, actually
- 15:14Speaker 2: I'm going to come in on Monday because when the
- 15:16Speaker 2: funeral happens two weeks from now, I don't want to,
- 15:21Speaker 2: it's going to be on a Tuesday or whatever it was,
- 15:22Speaker 2: and I want to take the rest of the week
- 15:24Speaker 2: off then.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 15:25Speaker 2: And they're like, okay. But then even, so I go
- 15:28Speaker 2: on Tuesday for the funeral, which is all here in LA.
- 15:31Speaker 2: And then on Wednesday, I did get a message from
- 15:34Speaker 2: the producer, not being mean, just saying, Are you coming
- 15:37Speaker 2: in today? And it put a panic in me. Like
- 15:40Speaker 2: I was with my sister and I'm like, oh, fuck,
- 15:42Speaker 2: what do I write? And then I was like, I
- 15:44Speaker 2: don't know if I thought I made it clear to you.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Like I need to be with my mom and we're
- 15:48Speaker 2: like getting, we're working with the other siblings to get
- 15:51Speaker 2: rid of some stuff. And like, and then she was like, okay, fine.
- 15:54Speaker 2: But I'm like, that's every job.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that's every job. That's every job.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So, so it's like, I mean, you know, and then they,
- 16:02Speaker 2: them saying like, yeah, do you don't want to be?
- 16:04Speaker 2: So that's one part of it that, that, that she
- 16:07Speaker 2: says about it. And that, um, and then she went
- 16:10Speaker 2: on ultimate girls trip and they said, she said, Andy said, Hey,
- 16:16Speaker 2: you know, go on ultimate girls trip, you know, because
- 16:18Speaker 2: eventually we think we want to get you back on
- 16:20Speaker 2: the real housewives legacy, which was going to be all
- 16:22Speaker 2: the old geez, whatever.
- 16:24Speaker 1: And so she's okay.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Well, she goes there. And then she says, one of
- 16:27Speaker 2: the girls is like, so you really don't drink now?
- 16:29Speaker 2: And she goes, no. So she thinks that's bad that
- 16:32Speaker 2: someone even asked her. And then she said to the producers,
- 16:34Speaker 2: did you have that girl ask me? And they're like, no,
- 16:37Speaker 2: she just asked. Like, this is what people are trying
- 16:40Speaker 2: to figure out since you were sober, then you weren't.
- 16:42Speaker 2: A lot of people feel like, well, I can now, whatever.
- 16:45Speaker 2: That's their prerogative. Then she gets really sick and she
- 16:48Speaker 2: was sick the whole trip and she wasn't really fun.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It wasn't her fault, but she was sick. So she, anyway,
- 16:53Speaker 2: so now they don't want her on anything anymore. So
- 16:56Speaker 2: now she has nothing to lose. So she, her lawsuit
- 17:01Speaker 2: is under the Americans Disability Act. She's suing them, I guess,
- 17:07Speaker 2: because her disability would be.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Alcoholism.
- 17:12Speaker 2: And somehow they didn't.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Work with her.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I'm not laughing at it.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm just laughing at the situation. I'm not poking fun
- 17:16Speaker 1: at it. I just think it's, I think it's just silly.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I think this is, I mean, people, I don't know.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I mean, Lala's been sober for five years.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 1: And- She, you know. They talk about alcohol.
- 17:28Speaker 2: She talks about it all the time. She's very proud
- 17:30Speaker 2: of it.
- 17:30Speaker 1: She comes over to my house all the time. Everyone's drinking.
- 17:31Speaker 1: She don't say anything. They talk about it on film
- 17:33Speaker 1: all the time.
- 17:34Speaker 2: And if it was a problem for her, you know,
- 17:37Speaker 2: then she wouldn't be on the show.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, she would eliminate herself from the area. But she
- 17:41Speaker 1: has no problem with it. Although, again, to each his own.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Everyone's different, I guess. But, yeah. First of all, you're
- 17:48Speaker 1: putting yourself in a show that's just, you know, it's
- 17:52Speaker 1: going to be there. It's around. It's like, you know
- 17:54Speaker 1: what I'm saying? It's like. Why would you put yourself
- 17:57Speaker 1: in a situation if you're uncomfortable drinking when a show
- 17:59Speaker 1: is primarily the girls going out to dinner and going
- 18:02Speaker 1: to bars and they're drinking? If you know that's going
- 18:04Speaker 1: to happen, why would you put yourself in that situation?
- 18:06Speaker 1: And if you don't like it? then you should escort
- 18:08Speaker 1: yourself out. So you can't have your cake and eat
- 18:09Speaker 1: it too. I'm sorry, you can't.
- 18:10Speaker 2: And then, so she said, well, for ultimate girls trip,
- 18:13Speaker 2: they were like, come on, it's 2.50.
- 18:14Speaker 1: What do you think you're going to do on a
- 18:15Speaker 1: girls trip? Sit around and twiddle your thumbs and do
- 18:18Speaker 1: each other's hair?
- 18:18Speaker 2: I have to say this, the Thailand trip that they
- 18:20Speaker 2: went on was not that good. It was kind of boring.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Now there was another girls trip that was at Dorinda's house.
- 18:27Speaker 2: That was, I believe, the second one. So there was
- 18:30Speaker 2: one that they did like in the Bahamas or something.
- 18:33Speaker 2: And then the second one was Dorinda's, which was pretty fun.
- 18:37Speaker 2: And Brandi Glanville was there, and she likes to booze
- 18:39Speaker 2: it up. And they had this guy who was an
- 18:42Speaker 2: actor who then, I guess, got to be on the
- 18:44Speaker 2: show as the butler. And just now he has filed
- 18:47Speaker 2: a lawsuit saying he was sexually harassed. because Phaedra smacked
- 18:52Speaker 2: his butt one night.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, this is reality TV. Not everyone's just nitpicking.
- 18:57Speaker 1: What do you want? All these shows are going to
- 18:59Speaker 1: get canceled if you can't have anything fun. Don't you
- 19:01Speaker 1: think that's the point.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Though, of Bethany's reckoning? Eventually, it's like, you know what?
- 19:08Speaker 2: You ruined it. Now nobody gets.
- 19:09Speaker 1: To have any fun. Basically, you're ruining it for everybody.
- 19:11Speaker 2: You're ruining it for everybody. We're no longer going to
- 19:13Speaker 2: make this a TV entertainment thing anymore. It's going to
- 19:16Speaker 2: be two drink maximum a night. And, you know, you're
- 19:20Speaker 2: going to have to, we're going to have breathalyzers every
- 19:23Speaker 2: three hours. And if anybody's over a 0.08, then you're
- 19:26Speaker 2: going to go and have a snack. And like, what
- 19:29Speaker 2: the fuck is this?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Ward and June Cleaver. That's what they want. They want
- 19:32Speaker 1: to leave it to Beaver. Like, what do you want?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Nobody's going to watch boring TV. People want chaos, destruction.
- 19:38Speaker 1: You know, that's why villains, that's what they want. Yeah.
- 19:40Speaker 1: You know, nobody's tuning in to sit around and talk about. Okay.
- 19:43Speaker 2: So then it gets into Ramona.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Christmas shopping has already started in our house. My dog.
- 19:50Speaker 4: is so organized, already planning Christmas gifts from Macaulay. Hair
- 19:54Speaker 4: care for her aunt and a fab fragrance for her bestie.
- 19:57Speaker 4: But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm
- 19:59Speaker 4: an early bird, buying one present a week from now
- 20:01Speaker 4: till Christmas, which makes budgeting less stressful. I can buy
- 20:04Speaker 4: in-store or online from Macaulay.ie for home delivery or free
- 20:09Speaker 4: click and collect.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So easy.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Gifts they'll cherish at prices you'll love.
- 20:16Speaker 3: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:19Speaker 3: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:22Speaker 3: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:27Speaker 3: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 20:33Speaker 1: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 20:36Speaker 1: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:38Speaker 1: what would you do if it was given back?
- 20:41Speaker 3: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 20:44Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 20:46Speaker 1: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 20:47Speaker 1: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 20:50Speaker 1: started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 20:53Speaker 3: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 20:57Speaker 3: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 21:02Speaker 1: every day was.
- 21:02Speaker 2: You're worth the work.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 21:06Speaker 1: use your voice even if it shakes.
- 21:08Speaker 3: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:22Speaker 2: You know, I love me some Ramona. When Ramona was
- 21:24Speaker 2: on the show.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I love me some Ramona.
- 21:26Speaker 2: The last season was with Ebony. They brought on Ebony K. Williams,
- 21:31Speaker 2: who's an attorney, much younger. I don't think she was 40.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Really pretty woman. And, you know, it was at a
- 21:39Speaker 2: volatile time in social media. history with talking about Black
- 21:46Speaker 2: Lives Matter, all that, COVID. It was just a lot.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It was not a fun time for the world. So anyway,
- 21:53Speaker 2: she's on. And in the article, they're talking about this
- 21:58Speaker 2: season's singer also allegedly told a Black woman staffer, quote,
- 22:01Speaker 2: there's so many of you guys here now, please don't
- 22:03Speaker 2: change your hair. I'm not going to be able to
- 22:05Speaker 2: remember anybody's names. She said, look, this is something commonly
- 22:10Speaker 2: I do. I mix up people's names. This was not
- 22:13Speaker 2: a racial thing about black women's hair is what Ramona
- 22:16Speaker 2: has said. Singer said this is the kind of thing
- 22:19Speaker 2: she commonly did. It was strictly a commentary on my
- 22:22Speaker 2: inability to remember names. As an example, just last week,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I saw a photo with me and Travis Kelsey.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Ramona said this.
- 22:29Speaker 2: From 2016 on Watch What Happens Live. And I thought
- 22:32Speaker 2: he was Jax Taylor.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I mean, should I take that as a compliment? I mean.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Should I?
- 22:39Speaker 2: I don't think you should take it not as a compliment.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I think it is very much a Ramona thing.
- 22:43Speaker 1: It is a Ramona thing. I mean, she's 63.
- 22:46Speaker 2: She's sharp and she's funny. Yes.
- 22:48Speaker 1: But that is who she is. That's who she is.
- 22:50Speaker 2: It doesn't mean she's a bad person in my opinion.
- 22:52Speaker 3: No.
- 22:52Speaker 1: But yeah.
- 22:53Speaker 2: You know, some people are not good with names, not good.
- 22:56Speaker 2: And they're like, you know, like even when I first
- 22:58Speaker 2: met her, I was at a Jill Zarin thing and
- 22:59Speaker 2: she heard my name and she's like, who is Heather?
- 23:02Speaker 2: And I'm like, I'm Heather.
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm big fan. I met you.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I've had her on the show.
- 23:06Speaker 1: That's how she talks. And she was nice.
- 23:09Speaker 2: She was nice.
- 23:10Speaker 1: She shoots first, sass later. That's the kind of person
- 23:12Speaker 1: she is.
- 23:13Speaker 2: And then, you know, and then what's the problem is,
- 23:16Speaker 2: so they have a talk on the phone before Ebony
- 23:20Speaker 2: comes on to like openly talk about... you know, black
- 23:25Speaker 2: and white people hanging out together. I don't know how
- 23:27Speaker 2: to even say it because anything I say is going
- 23:29Speaker 2: to be seen as bad too. But anyway, so she
- 23:32Speaker 2: asked a question about it, Ramona, on the call and
- 23:37Speaker 2: they're like, well, that's like offensive or whatever. And she's like,
- 23:41Speaker 2: oh no, it was about, they said, and please don't
- 23:43Speaker 2: ever talk about, um, somehow it came up about black children,
- 23:48Speaker 2: there being a lack of father figures in black children's lives. Okay.
- 23:52Speaker 2: And she's like, well, I just thought a statistic on that.
- 23:56Speaker 2: And that is true. And they're like, well, don't ever
- 23:58Speaker 2: say that. And she goes, okay, but I thought this
- 24:00Speaker 2: was where I could ask a question. I thought this
- 24:03Speaker 2: was the open, anything is free time because I am
- 24:07Speaker 2: who I am. And I, so I should never mention
- 24:09Speaker 2: this statistic. No, you should not, you know?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I'm almost feeling like if, if, If I was Ramona's
- 24:16Speaker 2: friend back in the day, I would be like, honestly,
- 24:19Speaker 2: you need like a coach.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 24:20Speaker 2: You need like a coach to get you up on everything. Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Not to call anyone angry, not to, these are microaggressions.
- 24:27Speaker 2: This is the things to be sensitive about.
- 24:29Speaker 1: In her defense though, you have to understand it's very tough.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Every week it's changing on what we can say and
- 24:35Speaker 1: what we can't say. You have to agree with that.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Yes.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Every week. Now, one week it could be not
- 24:39Speaker 1: okay to talk about this. And the following week it's like, okay,
- 24:41Speaker 1: the world said it's okay to talk about that. And
- 24:43Speaker 1: then we're not allowed to talk about this. I feel
- 24:44Speaker 1: like there should be a book that comes out every
- 24:46Speaker 1: week on what we're allowed to talk about, what we're not.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Because it's confusing for the people.
- 24:51Speaker 3: It is.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Because you don't know.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Well, it's like in the 90s, it was... to African-American.
- 25:00Speaker 2: And then I remember working on- But we're not.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Even talking about race anymore. We're talking about literally everything.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Like a word, but I- Everything. Medications, people's mental health.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Whether the sky is blue or black or green or whatever.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I mean, you literally have to sit there and be
- 25:14Speaker 1: very careful about everything you say or it could be
- 25:17Speaker 1: misconstrued and you get in trouble.
- 25:18Speaker 5: Right.
- 25:19Speaker 2: But I remember working on, I worked on the Wayans
- 25:21Speaker 2: Brothers with the Wayans Brothers on several projects. And I
- 25:24Speaker 2: remember I said- I said African-American. They go, please don't
- 25:29Speaker 2: say that. And I go, oh. And they go, we
- 25:32Speaker 2: prefer black. And I go, you do? And they're like, yeah,
- 25:34Speaker 2: because we're black. Not all of us are from Africa.
- 25:36Speaker 1: And I was like, oh.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Well, then who started that? So then post-2020, I had
- 25:42Speaker 2: a black.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Person on the show. And I go, who started that?
- 25:44Speaker 2: And then he goes, oh, this white people did. And
- 25:47Speaker 2: then I looked it up, and no, they didn't. And
- 25:49Speaker 2: I was like, okay, so... I'm like, I just think,
- 25:52Speaker 2: especially take someone who's older and really been around, you know,
- 25:56Speaker 2: so she, anyway, and people don't like me defending her,
- 25:59Speaker 2: but I'm not, anyways, this is the story. So then
- 26:02Speaker 2: she goes on to say, they're really kind of going
- 26:05Speaker 2: after her. And then this is where she gets in trouble.
- 26:08Speaker 2: So she has this scene with Williams and she thinks
- 26:12Speaker 2: it goes great. But afterwards, the producer stays with her.
- 26:16Speaker 2: And Singer told Edmondson that her, this is the, Edmondson
- 26:20Speaker 2: was the producer, right? that her interaction with Ebony Williams
- 26:23Speaker 2: reminded her of when, now she's denying this conversation, but
- 26:28Speaker 2: of when a Jewish colleague used a Catholic slur with
- 26:31Speaker 2: her when she was a young woman and called her
- 26:34Speaker 2: a shiksa. Now, a shiksa is like my sister's a shiksa,
- 26:39Speaker 2: meaning she's married a Jewish guy, but she's not blonde, blue-eyed, whatever.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I've never known it to be a negative thing. We
- 26:47Speaker 2: always thought it was kind of like flattering and fun, okay,
- 26:50Speaker 2: but whatever.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 26:52Speaker 2: So she tried to say that. And then the woman goes,
- 26:55Speaker 2: I've never heard of that term. What does that mean?
- 26:57Speaker 2: And then Ramona says, it's like if someone called you
- 27:00Speaker 2: the N word. And just her saying that, then this
- 27:06Speaker 2: investigation went down.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 27:09Speaker 2: And so then she said, well, I never said the
- 27:11Speaker 2: actual word. I was trying to explain what it was,
- 27:16Speaker 2: you know.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That it could be derogatory.
- 27:18Speaker 2: And they're like, So, and her attorney said, she's never
- 27:21Speaker 2: said it. And they did a full investigation and nobody
- 27:23Speaker 2: ever said she said it. And, but then the producer
- 27:27Speaker 2: was like, I was shaking. And so, you know, that's
- 27:30Speaker 2: everyone's own perspective because it wasn't on camera.
- 27:33Speaker 1: So none of this was on camera.
- 27:34Speaker 2: So there's no way to say, but then they decided
- 27:38Speaker 2: not to have at all the reunion. It was the
- 27:40Speaker 2: first time in Real Housewife history. They did not have
- 27:43Speaker 2: reunion that season. They just were like, fuck this shit.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Because of the situation? Because they said, you know what,
- 27:47Speaker 1: it's just not.
- 27:48Speaker 2: They're just like, it's just too.
- 27:49Speaker 1: It's too much.
- 27:50Speaker 2: It's too, they're all fucking landmines.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Like everyone from the Bravo exec to the producer to
- 27:57Speaker 2: Ramona to Ebony could step in a landmine.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 28:01Speaker 2: That is just taking away from the fact that the
- 28:03Speaker 2: show is supposed to be an escape.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 28:05Speaker 2: It's supposed to be fun. I know.
- 28:07Speaker 1: And that's what we thought reality TV is.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:08Speaker 1: People go to work, right? They want to come home.
- 28:10Speaker 1: They want to turn their brains off and they want
- 28:12Speaker 1: to watch trashy. degenerate train wreck TV. And then they
- 28:15Speaker 1: realize what, okay, my life really isn't that bad. I
- 28:17Speaker 1: could be these idiots on TV. Like that's what reality
- 28:20Speaker 1: TV is. It's supposed to be like, okay. And, and relatable.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Like, so whether you can relate to a bunch of
- 28:24Speaker 2: women or a bunch of young people working together or
- 28:27Speaker 2: raising their young kids or what you go to where
- 28:30Speaker 2: you are like, oh my God, my friends, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 2: like what I love.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I might as well be an actor and get scripts then.
- 28:35Speaker 1: We might as well just go that way because that's
- 28:36Speaker 1: where it's heading.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I mean, because when I was, you know, in college
- 28:40Speaker 2: and stuff, I always was like, I mean, we didn't really,
- 28:43Speaker 2: reality show, um, the first season of MTV's real world
- 28:48Speaker 2: did not come out until my first year out of college.
- 28:51Speaker 2: And I, and it was Venice. No, New York was first,
- 28:54Speaker 2: then Venice. And I was like, yeah, that was Venice.
- 28:57Speaker 2: And I was like, Oh my God, I love this.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I can't turn away.
- 29:02Speaker 2: I feel like I'm in it. And I'm like, what I, but.
- 29:05Speaker 1: It was raw. It was like, they were dealing with,
- 29:08Speaker 1: you know, uh, I think they had the first, uh,
- 29:11Speaker 1: I had to think of a gay man who had
- 29:12Speaker 1: AIDS on. What was his, Pedro? I can't remember. Pedro.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Pedro Zamora or something. And he passed away. But it
- 29:17Speaker 1: was dealing with stuff like that, relationships, gay, straight, different races.
- 29:22Speaker 1: And I remember running home from school because I was
- 29:23Speaker 1: in high school, I'd throw my backpack down and watch MTV,
- 29:26Speaker 1: it'd be TRL, and then right into real world. And
- 29:28Speaker 1: we're like, whoa, this is just so cool. And I
- 29:30Speaker 1: remember wanting to be on it so bad. I was
- 29:32Speaker 1: in college, like trying to write essays.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I wrote a letter too.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Oh my God. Weren't you just wanting to be part
- 29:36Speaker 1: of that?
- 29:36Speaker 2: I think I wrote a letter, but never figured out
- 29:37Speaker 2: where to send it.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I didn't know where to send it. Yeah, yeah.
- 29:40Speaker 1: was in college during English class. I remember to a
- 29:42Speaker 1: T writing it as I was supposed to be listening
- 29:43Speaker 1: to my essay, but then I couldn't figure out where
- 29:45Speaker 1: to send it in those days. We didn't know. So,
- 29:47Speaker 1: but anyway, that's so funny.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but I remember like the funnest times in college
- 29:51Speaker 2: or whatever, post-college, is I'd be like, God, I wish,
- 29:54Speaker 2: I would literally say this. I wish there were cameras
- 29:56Speaker 2: right now because the funniest thing is the morning after recap.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And when you guys would go on trips or be
- 30:02Speaker 2: hung over or talk about what happened the night before
- 30:04Speaker 2: and you guys are all getting coffee, you come over
- 30:07Speaker 2: to the apartment with the two giant burritos and like,
- 30:09Speaker 2: let's fucking talk it out. That is what I think
- 30:11Speaker 2: people like love. Whether it's a girl's trip and you're like,
- 30:15Speaker 2: Two girls are walking on the beach talking about what
- 30:17Speaker 2: the fuck is her problem.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. I don't think the husband's that great.
- 30:21Speaker 1: That is true.
- 30:22Speaker 2: That is what people say and we get to see it.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We recap our drunkenness.
- 30:26Speaker 2: That's what we're in it for. We're not here to
- 30:30Speaker 2: hope that people's lives get destroyed. We just want to
- 30:32Speaker 2: see them. And so the people on the Bravo side
- 30:35Speaker 2: are like, look, we don't tell anyone to drink. We
- 30:38Speaker 2: stock the fridge and everything, but- If there's to live
- 30:42Speaker 2: their authentic life. So if they're going to have some
- 30:44Speaker 2: drinks when they're on Mexico with their friends.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Right. On a vacation. Right.
- 30:48Speaker 2: At a Mexican restaurant.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:50Speaker 2: In real life, when the cameras are there, that's what
- 30:54Speaker 2: they should do as well.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 30:55Speaker 1: I mean, if you have a good time without alcohol,
- 30:57Speaker 1: then more power to you.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 1: It's there if you want it. Right.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 31:01Speaker 1: You're not supposed to gamble either. You're not supposed to,
- 31:03Speaker 1: you know. smoke cigarettes either. You're not supposed to do
- 31:05Speaker 1: a lot of things, but it's there. Yeah. If you want,
- 31:07Speaker 1: no one's forcing you, but it is there. Right. Okay.
- 31:10Speaker 1: So it's teach his own. You have to be strong
- 31:12Speaker 1: enough or disciplined enough to not do it if you
- 31:13Speaker 1: don't like it and you can't drink and then you
- 31:16Speaker 1: get yourself in trouble and then go ahead. Well, it's
- 31:17Speaker 1: Bravo or NBC's fault. No, it's not their fault. Well,
- 31:20Speaker 1: it's your fault for being irresponsible. You should be smart
- 31:23Speaker 1: enough by this point being on a reality show. to
- 31:25Speaker 1: entertain without needing alcohol. Me, on the other hand, I
- 31:28Speaker 1: need alcohol. I need alcohol. And I love Bravo and NBC4.
- 31:32Speaker 1: So I'm always like, yes, bring it on. Right. Yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 1: I don't care. I'd be drinking.
- 31:37Speaker 2: So Bethany says, and then we'll wrap this up. Bethany says,
- 31:41Speaker 2: I was a part of it. I wanted to be
- 31:43Speaker 2: Andy's favorite. I love that I was Andy's favorite. I
- 31:45Speaker 2: love that I was able to make good television and
- 31:47Speaker 2: produce it at the same time.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I love the producers.
- 31:49Speaker 2: I knew I was the best.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Sounds like me. That sounds like me to a T.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I was in the machine. I was the machine. I
- 31:57Speaker 2: created the machine.
- 31:59Speaker 1: That is me to a T.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Her new mission to remake the medium that made her,
- 32:03Speaker 2: Frankel says, it's my penance. Presented with the idea that
- 32:08Speaker 2: she might participate in Frankel's organizing, Williams, Ebony Williams said,
- 32:12Speaker 2: fuck Bethany, Frankel. You think I'm going to let some
- 32:15Speaker 2: white girl speak for me with my experience with a
- 32:19Speaker 2: multi-billion dollar machine?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Dollar corporation, meaning like she's.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Good on her own.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Right, she is. That's why she can do this.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Ebony has her own show now. She's like a judge
- 32:27Speaker 2: on a show. I don't think she ever has to
- 32:29Speaker 2: come back to it. But I think she participated in
- 32:33Speaker 2: this article because she wasn't thrilled because they said, we
- 32:36Speaker 2: want you, Ebony.
- 32:37Speaker 1: We chose you.
- 32:41Speaker 2: You're the black girl we want, you're doing great. And
- 32:44Speaker 2: then like halfway through the season, they're like, okay, the
- 32:47Speaker 2: show is supposed to be fun. So she was kind
- 32:50Speaker 2: of like, so I, and then of course she wasn't
- 32:52Speaker 2: asked back. So I think she's kind of like a
- 32:54Speaker 2: little bit like that and she doesn't need them, but she's,
- 32:57Speaker 2: you know, bright and has her own thing going. So anyway,
- 33:01Speaker 2: that is the scoop with this article and everyone was
- 33:04Speaker 2: shaking in their boots. And it's honestly, we already had
- 33:08Speaker 2: heard all about.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Did they say anything else about anybody from Vanderpump?
- 33:11Speaker 2: Oh, just about Raquel, that Raquel, that these were the
- 33:15Speaker 2: mean things that were said about her.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I don't think it's fair they took advantage. I'm not
- 33:18Speaker 1: on Raquel's side at all, but I'm also playing it
- 33:21Speaker 1: from the other side. I just don't think that was
- 33:23Speaker 1: right for Bethany. She was doing it for clicks. Let's
- 33:24Speaker 1: be honest. That's why she was doing this. So to
- 33:27Speaker 1: just reach out to Raquel when she's in such a
- 33:29Speaker 1: fragile state, and I don't know if she was in
- 33:31Speaker 1: a home or seeking help or not, but reaching out
- 33:33Speaker 1: to her after such a crazy, crazy Last season of
- 33:37Speaker 1: Vanderpump and then kind of almost preying on her a
- 33:39Speaker 1: little bit and kind of poking her a little bit
- 33:41Speaker 1: when she's trying to figure herself out and realizing what
- 33:44Speaker 1: did I just get into? She's kind of prodding her.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I just don't think that was right. I don't think
- 33:48Speaker 1: that was right for her to do. And I think
- 33:49Speaker 1: that may have hurt Raquel's chances of ever wanting to
- 33:51Speaker 1: come back on reality TV again too. Yeah. I don't
- 33:55Speaker 1: think she was in a mental state to make these
- 33:57Speaker 1: kind of decisions and talk about stuff like this. I
- 34:00Speaker 1: don't know who Raquel's people are. I don't know who's
- 34:02Speaker 1: guiding her, but she should have never done that.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Well, I think once Raquel decided, I'm not coming back
- 34:07Speaker 2: to the show.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Who decided that? She decided that? Her parents decided that?
- 34:10Speaker 1: Everything I heard is... The network decided that?
- 34:14Speaker 2: The rumors I heard is that she... was considering it,
- 34:19Speaker 2: considering it, but wanted the same amount of money that Ariana.
- 34:24Speaker 1: And Tom were making, Tom Sandoval.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And because it's based on seniority, how much money you make,
- 34:30Speaker 2: they were like, no, you're due to come back as
- 34:33Speaker 2: season whatever. This is what you're going to get. And
- 34:36Speaker 2: then more and more time was passing and they were
- 34:39Speaker 2: already starting to film. And then I think she just
- 34:42Speaker 2: sort of was like, I'm going to cut my losses.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I'm not going to do it. And, um, And then
- 34:47Speaker 2: somehow Bethany and her mother, her mother was a fan
- 34:51Speaker 2: of Bethany, they got into it. I have no doubt
- 34:53Speaker 2: that she did get some money from Bethany. In my opinion,
- 34:56Speaker 2: I have no doubt she did. Right. But I don't
- 34:58Speaker 2: think it's anything that was worth it.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:01Speaker 2: What she should have done, and I still think she could,
- 35:05Speaker 2: is because I don't think she was ready to do
- 35:07Speaker 2: this interview. I don't think she was completely, like her
- 35:11Speaker 2: perspective at four months is going to be completely different
- 35:15Speaker 2: than what it's going to be at at 14 months.
- 35:17Speaker 2: And I think she needed a longer time. And then,
- 35:20Speaker 2: and she still could do this, and then just really
- 35:24Speaker 2: fucking write the book. And I mean, write the book
- 35:27Speaker 2: and write like, I almost thought we were gonna get
- 35:29Speaker 2: caught this time. I felt disgusted. But then I had
- 35:33Speaker 2: this conversation, the cameras were there. Like if we could
- 35:36Speaker 2: get everything that really happened from her perspective, but not today,
- 35:39Speaker 2: like a.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Year from now. I think she was just so blinded
- 35:42Speaker 1: by the light, you know, like I said, kind of
- 35:43Speaker 1: like the song. I think because that's what makes it
- 35:45Speaker 1: different because everybody on the show has cheated. Everybody has
- 35:48Speaker 1: except I think for Katie. But so I just think
- 35:51Speaker 1: the reason it was different is because she saw this
- 35:53Speaker 1: as a game and I think she saw what was
- 35:54Speaker 1: going on and she thought, okay, I think she kind
- 35:56Speaker 1: of just rode the storm. And I think Tom Sandoval
- 35:59Speaker 1: kind of just almost, I don't want to say manipulated
- 36:01Speaker 1: the situation, but kind of coached her along the way
- 36:04Speaker 1: and told her what to do and what not to do.
- 36:05Speaker 1: And I think she was so in deep by then
- 36:07Speaker 1: and she was just so infatuated with Tom at the time.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I think she just kind of went along with whatever
- 36:11Speaker 1: he said. Because he was looked at as like, okay–
- 36:14Speaker 1: He's at the top. He knows what he's doing. So
- 36:16Speaker 1: as long as he says what's going on, we'll just
- 36:18Speaker 1: keep going with this.
- 36:19Speaker 2: The part that I really felt for her was when
- 36:21Speaker 2: she did like an interview after- He showed up at my.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Bar this weekend, by the way.
- 36:24Speaker 4: What?
- 36:24Speaker 1: He showed up at my bar this weekend. Shocked. He
- 36:26Speaker 1: showed up at my Halloween thing this weekend. Rolled in
- 36:29Speaker 1: as Ken from Barbie.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Wait, I want to hear all about them, but I
- 36:33Speaker 2: just want to say really quick, just before I forget,
- 36:36Speaker 2: onto what you were saying, the part that I really
- 36:39Speaker 2: felt for her, and I think people saw a clear
- 36:41Speaker 2: picture of the manipulation of what happened was when she
- 36:46Speaker 2: did some interview like that was featured after the reunion
- 36:49Speaker 2: or maybe it was the same day or whatever. And
- 36:53Speaker 2: where her story was like slipping up.
- 36:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 36:56Speaker 2: And she kind of panics and it was like, this
- 36:59Speaker 2: is the story I'm.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Supposed to tell. Yes.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I was told to say this story.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of people are telling her
- 37:05Speaker 1: to do stuff.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And if he gets mad at me, then I have
- 37:07Speaker 2: nobody because now I have no friends and the show. And,
- 37:11Speaker 2: you know, now of course they're not together.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 37:13Speaker 2: And that's why now she's coming forward. That's why I'm like,
- 37:16Speaker 2: I still think, you know, I just don't think she
- 37:20Speaker 2: was remorseful enough.
- 37:21Speaker 4: No.
- 37:21Speaker 2: When she did Bethany's. And so it was not good
- 37:24Speaker 2: for Beth. It was not good for her to do Bethany's.
- 37:26Speaker 2: It did not help her cause. No. Go away.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Go away for a while.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I still think come back when you really have that perspective.
- 37:32Speaker 1: And then.
- 37:33Speaker 2: and then capitalize off of it by really giving us
- 37:37Speaker 2: the juicy, juicy, like start taking notes about the first
- 37:41Speaker 2: time this, he said this to me, we were upstairs
- 37:46Speaker 2: and Ariana was making a salad downstairs. And he said like,
- 37:49Speaker 2: that is what we want to know what goes through
- 37:52Speaker 2: a long-term cheater's mind.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:56Speaker 2: That's not a one night stand. Like what is it
- 37:59Speaker 2: when it's like, and you're friends with someone.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I think that's why it was so bigger because.
- 38:02Speaker 2: It was going on so long.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Like you said, everybody's done like a one night stand
- 38:06Speaker 1: or kind of a, you know. It was a double life.
- 38:09Speaker 1: It was a double life.
- 38:10Speaker 2: It wasn't a one night stand. It was a double life.
- 38:12Speaker 1: I just can't get over how he did it for
- 38:13Speaker 1: so long. How they got away with it for so long.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Because I'm trying, I'm not saying that, you know, he's
- 38:17Speaker 1: not a very smart cheater. Like he's very blatant about it.
- 38:20Speaker 1: It was very obvious. If you go look back now
- 38:23Speaker 1: and be like, It's clear as day there was something
- 38:25Speaker 1: going on here. If you go back and watch other episodes.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Throughout relationships. Like grabbing your ass and doing little things
- 38:29Speaker 1: behind the scenes and stuff like that. And just doing
- 38:31Speaker 1: the innuendos and staying over at the house and going
- 38:34Speaker 1: out late night dancing. I don't know about you, but
- 38:36Speaker 1: would you let your significant other do any of these things,
- 38:38Speaker 1: even though it's her friend? I don't know. Maybe Ariana's
- 38:41Speaker 1: just very trustful and she's like, you know, I have
- 38:43Speaker 1: no reason not to trust Tom. But I think it's
- 38:45Speaker 1: because he just was so, they were all so blinded
- 38:47Speaker 1: by it. Like they're all just like, oh, nothing's going
- 38:49Speaker 1: on and nothing's going on. I don't know.
- 38:51Speaker 2: So Peter just got a thing on his text. Huh?
- 38:54Speaker 2: Peter just got a text that he shared with both
- 38:57Speaker 2: of us.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And just random number pops up. Hey, want to get
- 39:02Speaker 2: coffee and golf today?
- 39:04Speaker 1: So he's like, who's this? He's a big golfer. And like,
- 39:07Speaker 1: usually they're not asking to get coffee.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:09Speaker 2: The guys, you know, it's like, hey, knucklehead, dah, dah, dah, whatever. Okay.
- 39:13Speaker 1: And then- He's like, who is this? And she's like,
- 39:16Speaker 1: don't you remember me?
- 39:17Speaker 2: And it's this beautiful young Asian girl like in front
- 39:20Speaker 2: of a painting. And it's these random things. It's the
- 39:25Speaker 2: same people that are tricking the Gen Z boys with
- 39:27Speaker 2: send me nudes. You know about that? Where these girls
- 39:31Speaker 2: will start writing these young boys and they're like, it's
- 39:35Speaker 2: all a scam. They're all like Nigerian people or whatever.
- 39:38Speaker 2: And then they go, who is this? Oh, we met, da, da, da.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Here's a photo of me. So now they start talking
- 39:44Speaker 2: to a cute girl.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 39:45Speaker 2: And she sends them nudes. And then the young boy
- 39:48Speaker 2: sends him nudes. And then they go, well, now give
- 39:50Speaker 2: me $ 600. And the boy only has $ 300. And he's
- 39:54Speaker 2: too scared to tell his parents that he sent a nude.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:57Speaker 2: And they have like, there's cases where these boys have
- 39:59Speaker 2: like ended their lives.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 40:01Speaker 2: So it's like, so I get emails from these girls too.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Random scam, like, hey, want to hang out?
- 40:08Speaker 1: Like they think I'm a dude or something. I'm like,
- 40:10Speaker 1: it is so.
- 40:11Speaker 2: And then to be a reality person and have some
- 40:15Speaker 2: of these people maybe pose and try to DM certain
- 40:19Speaker 2: people and then they screen grab those DMs to try
- 40:22Speaker 2: to incriminate them. So on top of you doing the show,
- 40:25Speaker 2: you have this whole other world where these quote unquote fans, trolls, haters, whatever,
- 40:31Speaker 2: are like trying to get any kind of info to
- 40:35Speaker 2: make you look bad.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Right.
- 40:36Speaker 2: It's really scary. But wait, I want to hear about
- 40:39Speaker 2: the Halloween party.
- 40:40Speaker 1: So the Halloween, my grand opening was this Saturday. It
- 40:42Speaker 1: was absolutely amazing. I was in Hawaii. I'm sorry, Hawaii.
- 40:45Speaker 1: You were at my villain's party.
- 40:46Speaker 2: No, but I was in Las Vegas at a fabulous, fabulous.
- 40:50Speaker 1: Wedding at the Wynn. Was it beautiful? It was incredible.
- 40:54Speaker 1: 30-person band. Oh, wow.
- 40:55Speaker 2: It was ridiculous.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Are you going for BravoCon, by the way? Yes.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Well, I have a show there on Saturday, a sold-out
- 41:01Speaker 2: show at the Venetian.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I will be there. Brittany and I will be there
- 41:04Speaker 1: during BravoCon, but not at BravoCon. We are doing an
- 41:07Speaker 1: appearance at the Venetian.
- 41:08Speaker 3: What?
- 41:09Speaker 2: I'm at the Venetian.
- 41:09Speaker 1: What day are you at the Venetian? The Saturday. Same here.
- 41:12Speaker 2: What time?
- 41:12Speaker 1: Just come to the restaurant. I'll get you all the information.
- 41:14Speaker 1: That's going to come out today. I'll get you all that.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I don't have the name of the restaurant.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Okay.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Then maybe you can pop by or I can pop
- 41:20Speaker 2: by after. Yeah.
- 41:21Speaker 1: Yeah. For sure. I don't think technically we're not allowed
- 41:23Speaker 1: to leave Venetian. You know how the rules are in Vegas.
- 41:26Speaker 2: They're very strict with certain things. Well, I'm at Venetian too.
- 41:29Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 41:29Speaker 1: If they're paying you, then you're not allowed to go
- 41:30Speaker 1: to different properties. So we're going to the restaurant and
- 41:34Speaker 1: then we're going to the Venetians night spot after. So,
- 41:36Speaker 1: but we're property of Venetian for that day. So technically
- 41:38Speaker 1: we're not allowed to do anything Bravo.
- 41:39Speaker 2: We are hanging out the Venetian together. Yes. I love
- 41:42Speaker 2: the Venetian.
- 41:42Speaker 1: I think Lala and Irma are going too with us.
- 41:44Speaker 2: I love the Venetian. I've done my show there. I
- 41:46Speaker 2: think this is like the seventh, sixth or seventh time
- 41:48Speaker 2: I've been there. So the show's been sold out forever.
- 41:51Speaker 2: They just put me up on the thing. Just as
- 41:53Speaker 2: I was leaving the wedding, we go by the Venetian.
- 41:55Speaker 2: I go, oh, I hope this screen shows my.
- 41:57Speaker 1: And it did.
- 41:58Speaker 2: And I was able to grab it. Oh, nice.
- 41:59Speaker 1: And it sold out.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Oh, nice.
- 42:01Speaker 1: That's awesome. Isn't it seeing your thing sold out?
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yeah. It's so fun.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I mean, and then.
- 42:04Speaker 2: So if I go to anything at Bravo, it might
- 42:07Speaker 2: be Saturday afternoon or... Or it might be Sunday night.
- 42:10Speaker 2: But like, you know, at the actual Bravo.
- 42:11Speaker 1: We'll go to dinner and we will come to your
- 42:13Speaker 1: show or something like that. Yeah, yeah. That would be great. Awesome. So, okay.
- 42:16Speaker 2: So you had your grand opening and people wore Halloween costumes.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Yes, it was. We did our grand opening. We've been
- 42:21Speaker 1: open now for a couple of weeks, but we did
- 42:22Speaker 1: a couple of soft openings, obviously, to train the staff,
- 42:24Speaker 1: kind of get the menu going, get people just acquainted
- 42:26Speaker 1: with the whole property. But Saturday was our grand, grand opening.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I just can't get over how fast we got this
- 42:31Speaker 1: place open. It was so fast for certain reasons that
- 42:33Speaker 1: I cannot say. We had to open really quick. You
- 42:35Speaker 1: all soon find out. But Halloween was just a huge success.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Everybody I invited showed up. It was just such a
- 42:43Speaker 1: fun night.
- 42:44Speaker 2: I wish I had your photo because you guys went
- 42:45Speaker 2: as Jessica Rabbit, but when she's the detective.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Right. She's the detective. And you're the rabbit. And I
- 42:51Speaker 1: did the modern version of Roger Rabbit. Okay. Very cute.
- 42:54Speaker 1: But yeah. And then Tom Sandoval rolled in, literally, no
- 42:59Speaker 1: pun intended, rolled in on roller skates. And I was
- 43:03Speaker 1: kind of like- Who did he come with? He came
- 43:04Speaker 1: with shorts.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:05Speaker 1: He came with Schwartz. They were at their bar. And
- 43:08Speaker 1: I said, guys, Tom Schwartz, come on over. And I
- 43:11Speaker 1: didn't know he was bringing Tom Sandoval. And I was
- 43:13Speaker 1: kind of in shock when he rolled in and I'm
- 43:15Speaker 1: looking at everybody and I'm like, I didn't know what
- 43:18Speaker 1: to say. I have no problems with Tom Sandoval anymore.
- 43:20Speaker 1: What's water under the bridge. I don't like to hold grudges.
- 43:23Speaker 1: What he did was wrong, obviously, but I think he's
- 43:24Speaker 1: paid the price. I think. He's moved on. I think
- 43:27Speaker 1: everybody's moved on. I think we need to kind of
- 43:28Speaker 1: just sweep this under the rug now. I think it's
- 43:30Speaker 1: just let it go. So I kind of was okay
- 43:33Speaker 1: with it. I think there were some people there that
- 43:34Speaker 1: weren't okay with it, but he wasn't there very long.
- 43:36Speaker 1: He came towards the end of the night.
- 43:37Speaker 2: And stayed on roller skates the whole time.
- 43:39Speaker 3: Real committed.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Stayed on roller skates, in character, committed the whole time.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 43:43Speaker 1: You know, I don't think he had a drink. He
- 43:45Speaker 1: asked for, I go, do you want a cocktail? He said,
- 43:46Speaker 1: he said. He goes, I'll have a Red Bull.
- 43:48Speaker 2: I think he said in one of his interviews that
- 43:50Speaker 2: he's been sober since this incident. Since the finding out.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Is sober no tobacco? as well, and is it, when
- 43:58Speaker 1: someone says sober, does that mean?
- 44:00Speaker 2: I think he says I haven't drank.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Okay, so that means, but you can have coffee, Red Bull, cigarettes,
- 44:05Speaker 1: that's okay.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Well, coffee and Red Bull, I mean, unless you're like
- 44:07Speaker 2: a Mormon and you can't have caffeine.
- 44:08Speaker 1: Right, okay, I don't know. It's different things for different people.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Well, I think, I mean, I think a lot of people,
- 44:13Speaker 2: you know, vape.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Vaping.
- 44:14Speaker 2: But the vaping is not with pot, right?
- 44:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:18Speaker 2: That's just the tobacco, whatever the vape stuff is.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 44:22Speaker 2: And then some people smoke pot, but then I think
- 44:24Speaker 2: they would not say sober. Then they would just say,
- 44:26Speaker 2: I don't drink anymore. It doesn't agree with me. Right, right.
- 44:29Speaker 1: I think it's good for him.
- 44:30Speaker 2: It doesn't mean they might not enjoy a mushroom or whatever,
- 44:32Speaker 2: but he's not drinking.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I know he's not drinking. Right, right. And he wasn't.
- 44:35Speaker 1: He did not drink there. You know, like I said,
- 44:38Speaker 1: it seems like he was having a decent time. I
- 44:40Speaker 1: think he was trying to stay on his roller skates
- 44:42Speaker 1: the whole time. But yeah, I was really shocked. Bottom
- 44:44Speaker 1: line is I was kind of shocked that he showed up.
- 44:46Speaker 1: I was okay with it, but I was just shocked.
- 44:48Speaker 1: It's kind of ballsy since Ariana's brother was there. I
- 44:50Speaker 1: was kind of like– and I called Jeremy the next day.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm really close to Ariana's brother. And Ariana was supposed
- 44:55Speaker 1: to come but she was in rehearsal for Dancing with Stars.
- 44:57Speaker 1: And I go, hey, listen, I just want you to
- 45:00Speaker 1: know I did invite him personally and I hope you're
- 45:01Speaker 1: not mad at me. He's like, no, he wasn't there
- 45:03Speaker 1: that long. It didn't bother me. So it was an
- 45:05Speaker 1: interesting night. It was a lot of fun though. Like
- 45:07Speaker 1: I said, it was just– it was everything that I
- 45:09Speaker 1: wanted it to be and we're just so excited, Brittany
- 45:11Speaker 1: and I.
- 45:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:12Speaker 1: So you had the DJ.
- 45:13Speaker 2: So what, so like you walk in, what I love,
- 45:16Speaker 2: it's like all the TV is like to watch games
- 45:18Speaker 2: and stuff. Yeah. And there's a bar there. It's the
- 45:20Speaker 2: best of both worlds.
- 45:20Speaker 1: So you got a little bit. Yeah, there's a bar
- 45:21Speaker 1: there and there's.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Like a more casual vibe there.
- 45:24Speaker 1: It's got, if you want the lounge, you want to
- 45:25Speaker 1: be bougie and go have cocktails with your girls, you
- 45:27Speaker 1: can go do that. Or if you want to come outside,
- 45:28Speaker 1: there's a beer garden. Yeah. It's like I said, we
- 45:31Speaker 1: got it up really, really quick. Obviously we're still moving
- 45:33Speaker 1: things around and changing things, but we had to get
- 45:35Speaker 1: up really quick for certain reasons. But.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Well, I got some of the food and I thought
- 45:38Speaker 2: it was very good.
- 45:39Speaker 1: It's good, right? The food is delicious.
- 45:40Speaker 2: I had the truffle fries. So good. Right?
- 45:42Speaker 1: I mean, you can't go wrong with truffle fries.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I had a barbecue chicken pizza.
- 45:44Speaker 1: That's delicious. Really good. The mussels are really good. The
- 45:47Speaker 1: clams are really good. Nice. The pastas are amazing. The flatbreads.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Brittany's beer cheese is finally there. Oh, yes. Mamaw's beer
- 45:53Speaker 1: cheese is there. We are going to start selling it
- 45:55Speaker 1: this week. So now you can postmate it and get it.
- 45:57Speaker 1: This week, we're just trying to figure all that, but.
- 45:58Speaker 2: We're finally- That's a good Thanksgiving.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Thanksgiving, you get that warm pretzel with the beer cheese
- 46:04Speaker 1: and you're watching football and you got a beer. I mean,
- 46:06Speaker 1: it's just, is there anything better? It's just, it's just great.
- 46:09Speaker 1: So yeah, so this weekend went off. It went off perfectly.
- 46:12Speaker 1: I was really, really excited. Good.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Good.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Okay, let's, did you hear about Dorit and PK?
- 46:19Speaker 1: No.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered this Wednesday. And it
- 46:23Speaker 2: was a juicy one. Okay. Because as you know, Kyle
- 46:29Speaker 2: and Mauricio, Mauricio's on Dancing with the Stars going up
- 46:32Speaker 2: against your girl Ariana.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Yeah. By the way, can we just say how good
- 46:35Speaker 1: Ariana is doing? She glides on that floor.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not surprised that she would do this well.
- 46:41Speaker 2: But I'm not surprised she would do this well, because
- 46:42Speaker 2: I felt like she was going to have talent for it.
- 46:46Speaker 2: But she's not like a professional dancer.
- 46:48Speaker 1: No, but she looks like it. Yeah, she really does.
- 46:50Speaker 2: She's doing so well.
- 46:51Speaker 1: I mean, I was just, I talked to her boyfriend
- 46:52Speaker 1: a lot.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I guess you should be committed.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Like, so, yeah. And she is. I mean, she says
- 46:55Speaker 1: it's a lot of work. It is a lot of work.
- 46:57Speaker 1: And I was talking to her ex-boyfriend. I'm like, God,
- 46:59Speaker 1: she is just so, I go, I don't take this wrong.
- 47:01Speaker 1: No disrespect, but she's so elegant and beautiful on that floor.
- 47:04Speaker 1: She just It's like she should be a, I don't know,
- 47:06Speaker 1: a dancer. Maybe she should quit reality and be on
- 47:08Speaker 1: this Dancing with the Stars. I mean, how many people
- 47:09Speaker 1: are left?
- 47:10Speaker 2: She's probably going to.
- 47:11Speaker 1: How many people are left? I haven't, I only, I
- 47:13Speaker 1: watch it the next.
- 47:13Speaker 2: Day just to see how she's doing. And yet I
- 47:14Speaker 2: watch and then everyone posts the stuff.
- 47:16Speaker 1: So. I don't have the patience.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Well, first let me just skip over to Mariso. So Mariso,
- 47:20Speaker 2: this is Mariso's partner.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Is that Lady Gaga?
- 47:23Speaker 5: No.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Oh. No, that's his partner.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Oh.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Emma Slater. What do you mean his partner? His partner?
- 47:27Speaker 1: His partner?
- 47:28Speaker 2: Dancing. No, dancing.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Sorry. Okay.
- 47:31Speaker 2: But there is rumors that they are dating.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Because paparazzi caught them at dinner and walking across the
- 47:38Speaker 2: street holding hands.
- 47:39Speaker 1: No. Yes. So then they did a video. Okay.
- 47:43Speaker 2: And they said, nothing's going on between us.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Okay.
- 47:49Speaker 2: But we were just recapping the night or whatever, the
- 47:52Speaker 2: dance that we practiced. And in recapping, and I just
- 47:56Speaker 2: grabbed her hand.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Do you think Brittany would be mad at me if
- 47:58Speaker 1: I was on Dancing Stars and I grabbed the dancer's hand?
- 48:01Speaker 1: Not on the show. This is after the show. So
- 48:03Speaker 1: you're just recapping. You're punching out, right? You're not working anymore.
- 48:06Speaker 1: You're not an actor. So now you're at night having dinner. Well,
- 48:08Speaker 1: first of all, I'd be mad at you. Would you be? Okay. Okay.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Let's flip the switch here. Would you be mad at
- 48:13Speaker 1: your husband if he was on and he's going, hey, honey,
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'm going to go to dinner. where after Dancing with
- 48:17Speaker 1: the Stars, the cast is going to go out. And meanwhile,
- 48:19Speaker 1: they're crossing, she's holding hands. I would be a little.
- 48:21Speaker 2: First of all, you know, we... I'd kill for you.
- 48:24Speaker 2: We do hold hands, but only kind of like when
- 48:27Speaker 2: we're like walking to the casino, going to dinner, going
- 48:30Speaker 2: to stuff, then we will hold hands.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's not allowed to hold hands with anybody else.
- 48:33Speaker 1: No way.
- 48:33Speaker 2: So I'm like, what do you... Like, I almost think
- 48:35Speaker 2: that's like That's like really intimate. That's really showing like.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Holding hands is intimate.
- 48:39Speaker 2: And like, you know, even those little body language things
- 48:42Speaker 2: that people do being overly.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Especially when you're in the limelight, you're a public figure. Okay.
- 48:47Speaker 1: It's not like you're just random people that are doing it, whatever.
- 48:50Speaker 1: You're in the public eye. You know, people are watching
- 48:52Speaker 1: unless you want people to see this.
- 48:54Speaker 2: So Kyle, then they said Kyle removed all of her
- 48:58Speaker 2: support of him on her. Instagram I feel like this
- 49:02Speaker 2: is just for show so then she said the one
- 49:04Speaker 2: thing that bothered me on Watch Robbins Live is she's
- 49:06Speaker 2: like because you know people have speculated whether she's having
- 49:10Speaker 2: a romantic relationship with this lesbian country.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Singer named Morgan Wade saw that video and.
- 49:15Speaker 2: She said I've been very close to all my girlfriends
- 49:18Speaker 2: I really think it's just that Morgan has tattoos but
- 49:22Speaker 2: I'm like but also she's a lesbian right and then
- 49:24Speaker 2: someone's like is she out I'm like I don't know
- 49:25Speaker 2: but I know her former girlfriend has spoken about being
- 49:27Speaker 2: her former girlfriend so whatever she's been with women and
- 49:31Speaker 2: um I'm like, but you are dressing like her and
- 49:36Speaker 2: you guys are hanging out all the time, but you're
- 49:37Speaker 2: also doing a documentary on Better Life. And then you
- 49:40Speaker 2: also did a music video where you're like eating fruit
- 49:43Speaker 2: with her in a bathtub together.
- 49:44Speaker 1: It was a sexual video. Very sexual.
- 49:46Speaker 2: And they're like, oh, we're just having fun with it.
- 49:48Speaker 2: And she said that she was the one that initiated
- 49:51Speaker 2: the separation. They live in the same house.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Okay. Which I can understand. So they're separated.
- 49:55Speaker 2: She gave him the master. She gave him the master.
- 49:59Speaker 1: That's gotta be awkward. No. Are they just still friends?
- 50:00Speaker 1: They're still platonic, right? Cause they have family.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Now the rumors are that they've been separated for a
- 50:05Speaker 2: while and that they are able to date other people.
- 50:09Speaker 1: So why are they living in the same house? Isn't
- 50:11Speaker 1: that a little bit.
- 50:11Speaker 2: I just think there's just... I think when people are
- 50:15Speaker 2: not ready to end it because they've been married so
- 50:17Speaker 2: long and they kind of maybe don't hate each other.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:21Speaker 2: And it's like... I was talking about this with Luann
- 50:24Speaker 2: on the show.
- 50:25Speaker 1: I had Luann on.
- 50:26Speaker 2: And... I do think there's a lot of people being
- 50:29Speaker 2: married for a long time.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 50:31Speaker 2: I think there's a lot of people throughout history and
- 50:33Speaker 2: even now where you get to a place and you're like,
- 50:36Speaker 2: and you have a certain amount of assets and children
- 50:38Speaker 2: and businesses. Right. And you're like, look, I don't really
- 50:42Speaker 2: want to fuck you anymore, but honestly, I don't care
- 50:44Speaker 2: if you fuck someone else.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:45Speaker 2: We can still hang.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:47Speaker 2: I don't want to split up everything. Right. Maybe we'll
- 50:49Speaker 2: come back together. Go do your thing. I'm going to
- 50:51Speaker 2: do mine. Like I just, I, so I just met
- 50:54Speaker 2: this woman a little while ago and she was doing that. Right.
- 50:57Speaker 2: And now they are back together. They have three kids.
- 51:00Speaker 2: They're very wealthy. She went to the house in LA.
- 51:03Speaker 2: He did his thing in Miami. And now they're like
- 51:05Speaker 2: good again. Nobody wanted to get divorced. No one, they
- 51:08Speaker 2: both knew they weren't going to find better.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Like as a spouse.
- 51:11Speaker 2: He wasn't looking to find a 25 year old and
- 51:14Speaker 2: have to start a whole new baby life at 55.
- 51:16Speaker 2: You know, he was like, I don't want that.
- 51:18Speaker 1: But like- Sometimes a timeout is, for some people, okay,
- 51:22Speaker 1: not for me.
- 51:22Speaker 2: If it could be more- Nor what it is, is
- 51:26Speaker 2: it's fine. But then when you're on a show and
- 51:29Speaker 2: everyone then chimes in, I think it's harder for the
- 51:32Speaker 2: two people that may have had this agreement to stick
- 51:35Speaker 2: with the agreement without getting hurt because you're getting a
- 51:38Speaker 2: million voices in.
- 51:39Speaker 1: And that's what's going on with Tom and Ariana too.
- 51:41Speaker 1: I think that's exactly the same because it just doesn't
- 51:43Speaker 1: make sense financially for them to move out because there's,
- 51:46Speaker 1: They have such an incredible interest rate on that house.
- 51:48Speaker 2: And I just saw an article saying, unfortunately, this is
- 51:50Speaker 2: like the worst time to buy a house.
- 51:52Speaker 1: It's the worst time. It's the worst time. It's better
- 51:54Speaker 1: to rent. So it's better just to rent or just
- 51:55Speaker 1: stay where you are right now and figure it out
- 51:57Speaker 1: because financially.
- 51:57Speaker 2: It just doesn't make sense.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:59Speaker 2: I mean, if they're going to be losing hundreds of
- 52:00Speaker 2: thousands of dollars instead of waiting, you know, until whatever
- 52:04Speaker 2: spring then, and it's okay with them.
- 52:08Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 52:09Speaker 2: It's not our, it's like, that isn't our, I mean,
- 52:11Speaker 2: it is our business because we talk about it, but
- 52:13Speaker 2: it's like, it's not, you know? So anyway, I, we don't,
- 52:16Speaker 2: no one knows if they believe it. As you know,
- 52:18Speaker 2: like dancing, lots of times romances have started between the
- 52:22Speaker 2: Dancing with the Stars partner and they did a very
- 52:25Speaker 2: sexual dance. It was contemporary dancing. And they basically ended
- 52:29Speaker 2: up scissoring. I don't know if that was an ode
- 52:31Speaker 2: to Kyle and Morgan, but it was like she threw
- 52:34Speaker 2: him down and then she laid on top and that's
- 52:36Speaker 2: how they ended.
- 52:37Speaker 1: And it was good.
- 52:38Speaker 2: He's really improved. He was really bad in the beginning.
- 52:40Speaker 2: So he's gotten a lot better.
- 52:41Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Interesting. So he's going for it. Meanwhile, he's had this
- 52:47Speaker 2: awful lawsuit happen for years. This saga over the $ 70
- 52:52Speaker 2: million Malibu real estate. thing and it's been going on
- 52:56Speaker 2: for a really long time and la times wrote this
- 53:00Speaker 2: whole thing basically he sold a house um he had
- 53:03Speaker 2: a listing and then he represented the buyer wait hold
- 53:10Speaker 2: on it's very confusing let me just read it to
- 53:12Speaker 2: you okay basically this.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Is it.
- 53:15Speaker 2: So he's facing a lawsuit related to the sale of
- 53:17Speaker 2: this malibu mansion which was featured on the show they
- 53:19Speaker 2: had like a 20s party there The mansion was initially
- 53:23Speaker 2: owned by this person named Karen. And it was later
- 53:26Speaker 2: sold to the son of the president of some country.
- 53:32Speaker 2: He's like a dictator's son. And he was accused of
- 53:37Speaker 2: purchasing the estate with the proceeds from corrupt practices because
- 53:41Speaker 2: he's the dictator's son. And Mauricio was then selected as
- 53:45Speaker 2: the seller. And he sold the mansion to Mauricio. who
- 53:49Speaker 2: later flipped it for 69 million. So the person is
- 53:54Speaker 2: saying why a year later. So the person is saying,
- 53:57Speaker 2: why was it sold for 33 million? And then a
- 54:01Speaker 2: year later it was fit for 69. Wasn't it maybe
- 54:04Speaker 2: always worth 69 million?
- 54:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 54:06Speaker 2: So was he, was he being completely unbiased because he
- 54:11Speaker 2: was involved in this? Um, uh, So they said he
- 54:16Speaker 2: claimed that Mauricio had not revealed the higher verbal offer
- 54:21Speaker 2: and initiated the lawsuit. So it's a wrongdoing in the sale.
- 54:25Speaker 2: They're suing him for a wrongdoing and that she's suing
- 54:30Speaker 2: for lost funds.
- 54:31Speaker 1: So what's going to happen? Is he just drowning in
- 54:33Speaker 1: lawyer fees?
- 54:34Speaker 2: I probably did not completely say this correctly. It's just confusing. Basically,
- 54:40Speaker 2: his credibility as a ethical realtor is what is the
- 54:46Speaker 2: real question here.
- 54:47Speaker 1: I guess the real question is, does he need to
- 54:48Speaker 1: be on House of Villains next season?
- 54:51Speaker 2: Let's talk about House of Villains for a minute.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Does he need to be on House of Villains?
- 54:55Speaker 2: I mean.
- 54:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 54:55Speaker 2: This stuff is, you know, this is why I was
- 54:59Speaker 2: a realtor for many years and you always, you know,
- 55:01Speaker 2: you make more money if you have both ends, meaning
- 55:03Speaker 2: I had the listing and I brought the buyer. But
- 55:06Speaker 2: it always was a slippery slope where someone could then
- 55:09Speaker 2: later say, how do I know that someone else couldn't
- 55:12Speaker 2: have paid more?
- 55:13Speaker 1: Right.
- 55:14Speaker 2: So honestly, when I'd have that situation, I would bring
- 55:17Speaker 2: in another realtor from my company and I'd be like,
- 55:21Speaker 2: I want you to work with so-and-so so there can
- 55:24Speaker 2: be equal negotiation. I'm going to negotiate for my seller
- 55:27Speaker 2: and I want you to have this person so you
- 55:29Speaker 2: feel that you've been represented right. Okay. And then between
- 55:33Speaker 2: the realtors, you worked out something so there's a little
- 55:35Speaker 2: bit of savings or whatever.
- 55:36Speaker 1: That makes sense.
- 55:39Speaker 2: But then in the olden days, it would work out
- 55:41Speaker 2: because you would tell the person- If I have both ends,
- 55:45Speaker 2: you only have to pay me 4%.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Because I'm going to make so much more money because
- 55:49Speaker 2: I have both ends.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:50Speaker 2: But then there's always that thought that the seller's like,
- 55:54Speaker 2: or the buyer is like, I think you worked harder
- 55:56Speaker 2: for the seller than me. So that is why, and
- 55:59Speaker 2: that is kind of the way I understand this somewhat
- 56:01Speaker 2: worked out, is he sort of was involved with both ends.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 56:05Speaker 2: And that is where it gets.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Gets tricky.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Gets tricky. So he still could win.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Right.
- 56:10Speaker 2: You know, because it's not, what he did was not
- 56:13Speaker 2: like necessarily illegal, but it's like, it's just kind of
- 56:17Speaker 2: shady with a dictator's son and this kind of amount
- 56:21Speaker 2: of money. And then a year later, it's like twice
- 56:23Speaker 2: the price and that's all this.
- 56:26Speaker 1: But I mean- It's all a little bit hearsay-ish.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Because like, how do you control that?
- 56:33Speaker 2: I mean, it's millions and millions of dollars. But so
- 56:35Speaker 2: he's dealing with that. Meanwhile, Dorit and PK, it was
- 56:40Speaker 2: announced during the airing of the episode that they have
- 56:44Speaker 2: been living separately. The news came out that they were married,
- 56:49Speaker 2: that they were living separately. She said on the show
- 56:52Speaker 2: that they've been struggling since the break-in. Ever since her
- 56:56Speaker 2: house has been broken into, she struggled with PTSD. And
- 56:59Speaker 2: then she got robbed again when she.
- 57:03Speaker 2: A couple months later over Christmas, she got like $ 10, 000
- 57:06Speaker 2: from the bank, put it in her purse to probably
- 57:08Speaker 2: tip people or whatever, buy Christmas presents. And she left
- 57:11Speaker 2: it in a shopping cart.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Do you get $ 10, 000 out and put it in your
- 57:14Speaker 1: purse for Christmas presents? I don't. I mean, is rich
- 57:17Speaker 1: people problems?
- 57:18Speaker 2: I do grab, you know, we do do the cash thing,
- 57:22Speaker 2: you know, during the holidays to give like more to
- 57:25Speaker 2: the people that are, you know.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess you're right. I guess I grew up differently.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I don't just go to, I'm going to grab 10
- 57:30Speaker 1: grand real quick for Christmas gifts.
- 57:32Speaker 2: So she turned around and her purse was gone.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Wow. And do they think it's the same person?
- 57:37Speaker 2: No, they don't know if it's the same person, but
- 57:39Speaker 2: they checked the security and they said you were being
- 57:41Speaker 2: followed by three men. So then that put her in
- 57:44Speaker 2: a tailspin and she felt like he was in England
- 57:46Speaker 2: all the time and he was not supportive. So she
- 57:48Speaker 2: says that on the show and then, but they spring
- 57:51Speaker 2: it on Teddy and Kyle during Watch What Happens Live
- 57:54Speaker 2: and with a caller. And they're like, how do you
- 57:57Speaker 2: feel about them being separated? And they're like, What do
- 57:59Speaker 2: you mean? That's out? They're like, yeah, the news just
- 58:02Speaker 2: dropped now. So if you're not, I mean, if we're
- 58:06Speaker 2: supposed to believe that like Bravo didn't know that this
- 58:09Speaker 2: news was eminent and said drop it on Wednesday or
- 58:14Speaker 2: the people thought drop it on Wednesday and then we're
- 58:15Speaker 2: going to have them, it be sprung on Kyle and Dorit,
- 58:18Speaker 2: who clearly knew that they were separating. They since went
- 58:22Speaker 2: to dinner and said, they said, oh, the report was
- 58:25Speaker 2: that he's been living in like some Beverly Hills hotel.
- 58:28Speaker 2: They went out to dinner this weekend and acted all
- 58:30Speaker 2: lovey-dovey and said, we're not separated. But that we just
- 58:34Speaker 2: have had a tough few years. Years is kind of
- 58:38Speaker 2: a lot.
- 58:38Speaker 1: That's a long time. Yeah. I mean, I don't know
- 58:40Speaker 1: if I could take it for that long.
- 58:41Speaker 2: And that, sources say, she has said, I'm just not
- 58:44Speaker 2: like in love with him anymore.
- 58:46Speaker 1: She's just in love with the money.
- 58:47Speaker 2: Also, they said he's 56. I'm shocked that he's only 56.
- 58:49Speaker 2: I just thought he was older. That's kind of a
- 58:53Speaker 2: bitchy thing to say. Well, he looks okay there.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Yeah, he looks all right. Let's get into Housewives.
- 58:58Speaker 2: I'm kind of surprised because they were like really interested. Okay,
- 59:00Speaker 2: what do you think about, tell me what you think
- 59:02Speaker 2: about Housewives.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Tell me. Housewives, I'm not, I mean, I watch a
- 59:05Speaker 1: little bit of it. I mean, I'm not like, I
- 59:07Speaker 1: don't get too invested because then I start watching it,
- 59:09Speaker 1: then I get hooked. But I don't get really invested
- 59:11Speaker 1: in too much of it anymore. Unless it involves Lisa
- 59:15Speaker 1: or rumors about Lisa, then I'll get in. Lisa Vanderpump.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Lisa Vanderpump. But I don't really get invested in too much.
- 59:20Speaker 2: What can you share with us about your future in
- 59:23Speaker 2: reality TV? So you're on The Villains.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Yes. So House of Villains. Obviously, I got voted off
- 59:27Speaker 1: last week. But I can tell you this.
- 59:30Speaker 2: How did you feel?
- 59:31Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I was okay. You know? I was
- 59:35Speaker 1: fine with it. It doesn't matter if I'm there for
- 59:36Speaker 1: one day or 30 days. I got paid.
- 59:39Speaker 2: You get the same amount unless you win, right? Yeah.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Unless you win. So it didn't matter.
- 59:43Speaker 2: And then you win, you get a 200,000 bonus.
- 59:45Speaker 1: You know, I was kind of a little bit bummed
- 59:47Speaker 1: and I was like a little hurt. Obviously, I don't
- 59:48Speaker 1: know if you saw in New York and like made
- 59:50Speaker 1: me cry and I've never in my life. I mean,
- 59:51Speaker 1: she literally called me a demon. I don't know if
- 59:53Speaker 1: you saw that episode. She called me a demon and
- 59:55Speaker 1: I'm like, I was so taken back. I haven't even
- 59:57Speaker 1: had called that by my ex-girlfriends. Like a demon? I'm like,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: You don't even know me that well. How are you
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: calling me a demon? And then I was like, I
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: took a little bit of offense to it. And then
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I kind of did my research on her a little bit.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, that's kind of her shtick. She goes
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: after everybody, this girl. And I just, I was just
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: taken back by it. And I was like, I was hurt.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: But then NBC kind of got a hold of me. Like, okay,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you can kind of tease the fact that you're coming
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: back to the show. I think maybe somewhere down the line,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: they kind of were like, maybe we shouldn't have got
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: rid of him so fast. You know, I had so
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: many people reach out.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Where was the house located?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: She's in Sherman Oaks. And how many days were you there?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: And it was like an old, I felt like we
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: were in, what's the movie?
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: I know, it didn't look that great.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: No, it was like an old, almost like an old
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: Middle Eastern mansion. Yeah, Tuscan. With statues everywhere. It was
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: like used for reality shows, basically.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Okay, they always go to there.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: It was a crazy house, cameras 24-7, no doors on. anything.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: It was just, and I had roommates. I had Omarosa
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: as one roommate and I had Enfisa from 90 Day
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Fiance as my other roommate. I am a loud sleeper.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I kind of took myself out of that situation real
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: quick because I was just like, I feel bad for
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: these girls. I'm a married man. I'm like, you know what?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I'm going to go downstairs and sleep on the couch.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: I know I snore. I drive my wife crazy with it.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: I'm going to save myself the headache and possible early
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: elimination by just going down there and let these women
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: have Their room. Okay. But I love Omarosa. She's awesome. Again,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: when a lot of these people were on the show,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't watch. A lot of them
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: were on reality TV when I was younger. Yeah. And
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I really wasn't watching much TV back then. So I
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: kind of did my research. We got our phones from
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: 12 o'clock at night till whenever we woke up in
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: the morning, which is usually around seven or eight. So
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that's when everybody got their phones for take care of emails, whatever,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: because everybody's in reality TV. Everybody has projects. So they
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: allow us to have our phones. I didn't know who
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: anybody was. So I'm at night researching everybody, who New
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: York is, what made everybody a villain? Because I didn't know.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I didn't know what made New York a villain or
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Omarosa or Anfisa or Tanisha or whatever. So I'm researching.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, oh, oh. So that's how I did
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: my research. But that's also how people did their research
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: on me. So they would come out and I kind
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: of got looked at. I had a conversation, which they...
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I don't think they edited it wrong. It made me
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: look out to be really conceited and cocky. So I
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: had a conversation I woke up one morning with the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: guy named Shake who was on Love is Blind, I think. Anyway,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: he's come down. He's kind of like the new guy
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: on the show. I consider him to be like that
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: guy that kind of won a show to be on
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: with a bunch of celebrities. I don't like him at all.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Didn't like him. He did not belong there. He was
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: not a legend. He's not an icon. He seems like
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: a guy who won a prize to be on a
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: show with a bunch of celebrities. That's basically what I
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: think of that guy. Anyway- So I sat down. I
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: sat down with him. He's kind of like, how do
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you monetize this? I just got on a show. I
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: want to get brand deals. I want to keep this going.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: I want to make money. So I kind of was
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: giving him my playbook a little bit. And it came
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: off as where I was kind of bragging a little bit.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: And I wasn't trying to brag at all. I was
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: trying to give them my playbook. I'm like, if it
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: was me on the other side, I'd be like, wow,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: thank you so much for this free information.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Wait, is that the headline that I've read about, about
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: how much you made and how much Brittany made?
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: And I was, I didn't like, I kind of forgot
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: that the cameras were there and I was kind of
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: just saying, listen, man, this is how you can do it.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Now I've been on the show for a decade, right?
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: It just didn't just happen for me overnight. We had
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to build this, this, empire that we have. We had
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: to build these deals and all this, but this is
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: how you do it. You find, you know, a good manager,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: you know, you outreach to these brands. I was just
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: trying to give him my, my playbook. So he didn't
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: make any mistakes. Cause I was just thought, okay, he's
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: a nice guy. Again, we're in the house of villains.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I just, I should have known he was going to
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: use it against me. And he did, but it's no
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: secret to know what anybody makes nowadays. If you want
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: to Google anybody, you can see what their net worth is.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: So I wasn't trying to brag by any means, but
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: I know it came off that way, but I was
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: just trying to be like a nice guy to trying
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: to help him out. And sure enough, I caught him
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: talking about me upstairs about, oh, he doesn't need this.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: He doesn't need that. I'm like, you're damn right I do.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: It's expensive as hell to live in California.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: So he then used it like, you don't need the
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: 200 grand, so let's get rid of him.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: All he does is talk about his beautiful wife. I'm like,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: you're putting me down by talking about my beautiful wife.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: You're an idiot. You're a complete idiot. So that kind
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: of shot me in the foot right there. And You know,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: it was just, I was in a house. I've never
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: been on a show either, a contestant type show. I'm
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: on a docuseries.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Right, where you can't go home.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Where you can't go home.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: So how many nights were you there?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I was there, I think five nights. And then, like
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I said, I'm allowed to say it. The network called
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: and said, you can say it. I do come back.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: So wait, five nights that you slept on a couch?
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I did, I did.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: How uncomfortable?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: It was okay. I wasn't, like I said, I'm a
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: very easygoing guy. I don't, it wasn't, I don't complain.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I just felt bad for these girls.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: I'm all about my sleep, so yeah.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Oh, I am too. I am too. But I was
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: just like, you know what? I don't want these girls
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: to be mad at me. I'm in a house with
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: absolute legends, icon reality stars, Tanisha, Omarosa. I love New York.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: They are such powerful, strong women and they can kill
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you with words. They are so good. Like I was,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I made really good friends with Johnny Bananas, who's on MTV. Right.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: And him and I were just kind of like, we
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: were just sitting around. I'm like, I do not want
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: to go to war against these women. They are so good.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I'm a very stock fighter. I'm like, well, F you
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and this and that. I'm very stock. These girls are like,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I'll take your firstborn. I will feed them to the wolves.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Like they are just, we'll go after you. And like,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I mean, she called me a demon. I was just
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: kind of like in tears. I was like, oh my God,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I've said three words to you. How do you, how
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: am I a demon? She's like, I know you, you
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: have a black heart. Black hearts. I was just like,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: And then, like I said, I got into my head
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: about it. And then at the premiere party, we had
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the premiere party at Isabelle, And I came up to her.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: I go, did I do something wrong? She's like, no, honey,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: that's just my thing. That's who I am. That's how
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: people know me. I go after people and I go
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: after their character. I don't know you from Adam. You
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: seem like a lovely person, but this part of the game.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: And I'm like, you know what? You're right. I was
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: out of my element. I didn't do my research. I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: didn't do my homework. You girls are just so amazing
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: at what you do. I did not belong there. And
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: that's kind of where it ended.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Well, the show's doing well.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: So it'll definitely come back.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, it's really helping the network. I know
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: the network seems like they were in a little bit
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: of trouble. So They were using the show as kind
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: of like a springboard back. So I hope it does
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: really well. Like I said, I was so fortunate that
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: NBC and E! reached out to me and said, hey, Jax,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: would you be interested in this? Because this is coming
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: out of COVID. And I was just kind of starting
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to get my life back together again. And this is
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: the first project that I did. And it was a
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: lot of fun. It was a lot of fun.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: And can you talk about any other stuff that you're doing?
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I can't yet.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I can't. I want to. And I think it's one
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: of those things that I think it's out there.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: But I just can't.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: It is kind of out there, so I don't want
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: to say anything. I know.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: I can't really talk about it. They're just kind of
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: weirded out about it and saying anything. Well, good.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: Let's not get you in trouble.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I don't want to get in trouble. But I think
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: everybody can guess what's going on.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: So this weekend, I turned on Bravo.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: And they were doing Vanderpump Rules like the first season,
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: like a Friday morning, I think.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Episode one. They started from the beginning.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: I mean, it was- Oh, because- I don't know. It
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: just sometimes starts that way.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Why? Well, because they just got done- Do they have
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: a premiere date? No, they haven't had a new premiere date,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: but I'm assuming it's coming up or it's coming soon.
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: I don't know. They don't give us the dates for
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: any of this stuff. But my question is- But I'm
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: assuming it's soon. That's why they're starting.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: I mean, you don't look that different. A lot of
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: the girls look very different, like the makeup and stuff.
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: She just still looks just as young, but like she
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: looks much prettier now because she's got like better style
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: and everything. She has like these like paint, like these eyelashes,
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: like she just.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: The glitter, she was all about the sparkles.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Yeah, the outfits were like dorky. So, but then of
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: course you're with Stassi in it and everything and like
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: at your apartments and- Do you ever, like, if you're
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: just flicking around and you see, like, old ones, is
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: it fun to watch?
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Is it hard to watch?
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: I can't imagine if all of a sudden I could
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: see myself with, like, a former boyfriend, like, walking around
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: in 1992. Like, what would that be like?
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: It's so funny. Brittany and I literally just watched our
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: wedding episode last week. We had a little fun together.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: It was, let's say, home and have a couple cocktails.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: And then we were playing some card games. And we're like,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: let's watch our wedding. And we just watched our wedding.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: And then we started diving to some other episodes. We
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: got a little bit of courage.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: You just went on the peacock and went off.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: And we just went on the peacock. Yeah, just kind
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: of started watching, scrolling through things. And it was interesting. No,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: we can laugh at it now. I mean, we've come
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: a long way. Yeah. You know, if you can't laugh
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: at this by this point, I think we've gone a
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: lot through a lot harder things.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: No, I think you could laugh at it. I just
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: wonder if it's like, like, I wonder if for some
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: people it's really fun.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I don't remember much of it anymore, to be honest.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: I don't even remember my life before my son. I
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: don't remember my life even before Brittany and I met
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: like it's, it was just so long ago. And I think,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you know, these are just relationships that you go through that,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: you know, and fortunately for most of them, I've remained
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: friends with everybody and we can look past and we
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: can laugh and be like, oh, that was just a
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: part of our lives. I really didn't burn too many bridges. So,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: and I repaired the ones that I did burn. So yeah,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I can look back now and laugh at it. I'm like,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: it was, it was a lot of fun. It was
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: a part of my life. You know, I don't really
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: have too many regrets in it, but yeah, we can
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: look back now for the most part.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, Brittany's been watching House of Villains and she's
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: loving it. She loves it. She thinks it's hilarious. She goes,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I can't believe how much you didn't talk because I
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: was so intimidated on that show and I didn't say
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: much because I was so scared. I mean, like I said,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: these people were so scary and I mean it in
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: a good way. They're just so good. I felt like
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I took a master class in reality.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Do you have any suggestions of people that would do
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: well for second season?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: I think Tom Sandoval would do really well on that.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: I think he would do.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: What happened with him on the... The Special Forces or whatever.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Is he still on it?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Is that airing? I don't know.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: No, it is airing.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't watch it. It looks like
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: they go after him quite a bit from the highlights.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: I mean, I saw him like kind of crying about it.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: When is he not crying?
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: Well, he's crying saying that people made $ 200, 000 on merch
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: off of it. That's the number that he threw out
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: because I think that's the number that Lala said she
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: made off of the Daryl sweatshirts.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I think there's a lot more than that.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: There is a lot more than that. But I just,
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: I think that's the number that got thrown around because
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: it was like, he basically said it was a down
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: payment and then people did the math on the house
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: and did the down payment.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: And that's what I owe my mom right now. So
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: that could have helped. Right, exactly.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: But I mean, you know, I think his shows do well.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: People go to the shows.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Do they? I don't follow. Do they go? Do they
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: go to see it? Do they go because they're entertained?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Do they go just to see what's going on?
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: I think the same reason Before the scandal, I think
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: people went the same reason they go to Luann.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: They're fans of the show. So from what I see,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: he Venmo's everybody that goes to the band like $ 1, 000.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: So that's got to be stressful. So he's got to
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: pay all these people. How does a nine-person band, okay?
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: You're a garage band at the end of the day. Yeah.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: You got to have the gear people setting all that, hotels, food,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: just everything else. And then make a profit on top
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: of that. They can't be getting paid that much. You can't.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: That's the thing. I want to know what the breakdown is.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: If we can find out what the breakdown is of
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: these concerts that he has, because it costs a lot
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: of money to do these. I know from even just
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: doing Listen to Stassi when she does her tours and
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: all these podcast tours, there's not a lot of margin there.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: you know, by the time you pay everybody out. So
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I'm just curious, is it more about just doing the
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: band because you enjoy it or is there money to
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: be made in something like this? Because like I said,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you're not, you're not a big band. You're not Foo Fighters, okay? You're,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Tom Sandoval and the whatever you guys call each other.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: I mean, I think they all, I think they all
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: have a blast doing it. Yeah. I think he loves
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: doing it. Yeah. But no, if you're at, for someone
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: who's traveled, I know how these things work, which is
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: why as a standup, I do do well. Right.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Because it's me and a fucking mic. But you're alone.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: But yourself, you're not paying out.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: And even when I have a couple guests come to
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: either do standup with me or do, like I've got
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: Brandy and Julie being my guests. on the Live Juicy Scoop.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: But yeah, you've got to cover their flight and their
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: hotel and pay them for their appearance, but still, it'll
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: be worth it. But for him, no, I think, hopefully
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: he's not losing money on it because I don't want
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: to see anyone losing money, but I think it's probably
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: breaking even.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Could you imagine paying nine people? See if you had
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: a nine-person band. So you got to pay them all
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: out and their food and their hotels and the guy's gear, flights, travel, gas.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: I just, I'm just in my head. I'm just curious.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: So, I mean, I think he's probably figuring that out
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: next tour.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: Like, how do we do that?
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: You know, even like with Luann, when she first started
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: doing her thing, she had more people on stage with her.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: And then you realize, okay, you know what? How can
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I make it smaller? So he might be like, how
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: many people do I really need to get like the
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: songs done? Yeah. can people you know and see what
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: it's worth it or he might be like all right
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: i did it right i did it and now like
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: what's my next thing because or maybe i'll just do
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: it in la or just do it in irvine yeah
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: you know what i mean if i don't if we
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: don't have to get on a plane that's a big
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: difference right especially if you don't have to pay for
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: a hotel yeah but um you know it's the same
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: thing i think people kind of have fun just going
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: and say i went you know um We're.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Going to be doing live podcasts at Jax's, by the way.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: Perfect.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: We're going to start doing stuff like that. Yeah, you should.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Sunday where we do like Bloody Marys and mimosas and
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: girls can come in and listen to like Sheena and Lala, Brittany,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: or whoever wants to come and do a podcast.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: The Bachelor Girls or whatever. I think it'd be a
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: fun idea. I think we're going to do that. Absolutely.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: You should.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Totally. Um, Bravo is reportingly reported, supposedly it's from Bravo
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Housewives is, um, So this is just rumored.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: This is not officially Bravo.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: But Bravo reportedly considering returns for Vicky, Alexis, and Gretchen.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: So these are all former OC girls.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I was cut out of this picture. I was in
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: this picture as well. When Bravo needs the return of
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: the icons. And I was in it. I have the
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: picture somewhere. And I was at it. Oh, really? And
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: it was us two.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: And they just sliced it together?
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Yeah. What Bravo really needs the return or something like that.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: How do you feel about return people?
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: I love it. I love it, too. I think they
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: need a break. I think it's good for sometimes to
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: cut ties and need a break.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Me, I needed that break. When I left, I needed it.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Like for my mental, you know, well-being.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: But when it happened, were you freaked out and devastated?
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: No, Brittany was. I wasn't. No, I was like I
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: needed the break. She was just kind of like, oh, man,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: you know, like I'm not sure if I'm ready for
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: it to be over yet.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: And how did they tell you? What did they say?
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: We had a conversation with the network, between my team
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: and the network, and kind of discussed where things were going,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: where they were headed. You know, my mind was not
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: in a good place at that time. I was just
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: kind of just beat, defeated mentally, you know. I've taken
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: a beating on that show. I've taken a huge beating
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: and I'm really strong and I have thick skin, but
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I took a beating. So it was okay for me
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: to step away for a little bit, but we left
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: on great terms. I love NBC. I love Bravo.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: So they said it like that. They said, we just
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: want to put you on the pause and like, we'll
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: get back to you.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I wasn't looped in with the Stassi-Kristen thing that had
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: nothing to do with me. Everybody thinks that, but it
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: had nothing to do with me. It just so happens
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: that it happened at all the same time. Got it.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: But no, I kept such a great relationship.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: When that happened, did you get with them? And did
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: anybody like, Was there any weird commiseration or anything that
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: it all happened the same year and also happened at
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: such a, like I said, the same time?
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Well, it was annoying to me because people were saying,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: he got fired, he got fired. First of all, if
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: I did, NBC wouldn't be calling me to do House
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: of Villains. I've done what? Watched Rabbids Live like three
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: times in the last four months. So if I got fired,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't be doing any of this kind of stuff.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: So that's had to be very, very clear. And I'm like,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I was never... It was just a mutual agreement and
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: that's just how it went and it made a lot
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: of sense. It wasn't a goodbye. It was like just
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: we're going to take a pause. And now after two years,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: like I said, House of Villains, NBC has called me up.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Are you ready to come back? And now we're working
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: towards other projects and I'm just super excited. But no,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I have a great relationship with them. They've been so
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: good to me. No ill will. But I love the
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: fact that they're returning because these are icons of– of
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: reality TV, of Bravo, and I think they need to
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: come back.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: And they said, what do you think? I would love
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: for them to all come back.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Absolutely. They were, like I said, that's when I was
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: watching when they were on.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: And Kelly Dodd too, like bring them all back.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: And they all have- Have new stories.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: And they have history with each other that's happened in
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: the last couple of years because of you said this
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: on a podcast and you said that on a podcast.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: So like, where are we? Like, where are we in it?
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: And like, let's have some fun with it.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: And I think it's good not just to do it
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: with OGs. It's good to go with everybody. Kind of
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: let some people sit out, let some stuff brew a
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: little bit, recharge the batteries, then come back later and
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: be like, okay, we have a new outlook. Like me,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: I have a brand new outlook. So I took a
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: piece of humble pie. I needed it. And I just,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: now I look at things a lot differently. I'm now
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: a father. I'm now married. I look at things a
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: lot differently now. And I think it goes the same
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: for everybody. I think you just need to sit out
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: for a little while. whether it's a month, six months,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: whatever it may be. Recharge the batteries, maybe do some
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: other things, podcasts, other shows, talk shows. Then, okay, circle
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: back and be like, okay, I'm ready to come back now.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: I see things differently and I think I'm a good
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: asset to the show. Perfect. I love that. Here's my son.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Look at this shirt. I'm wearing it.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: He turned 21 last night.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I love the hat.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Because there is a story about- You better be at
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: the bar. Yeah. There's a story. This is a picture
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: of this because there's a story about a woman who
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: successfully got kicked out her two 40-year-old sons. Italian mom.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: I saw that.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Wins court case to evict her two adult sons in
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: their 40s. And Drake was here because we celebrated his
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: birthday yesterday. He goes back to ASU tomorrow. And he
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: was helping me get the photos for this. And he goes,
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: there's not a photo of They said, I go, is
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: there one of you and Brandon? Let it just be me.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: But yes. It's like old school. Have you seen that movie?
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Or not old school. Step Brothers. Yes.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: I love it. Well, yeah, it's about a day. But
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: they said, according to CBS News report last month, about
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: 45% of people between the ages of 18 and 29
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: in the U.S. reside at home with their families, the
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: largest number since the 1940s. So then I was like, well, 18,
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: come on. So then Drake looked it up, 25.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Okay, do you understand the climate that we're in right
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: now too?
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Oh, I know.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: So there is nothing. I don't want my kids to
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: ever leave. A, B, nobody can afford it.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: No, and a lot of people can't afford to go
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: to college and live on campus.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: They'll go to the.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: And I will say, one of the great things that
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: California does is they do a really good job at
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: doing the... the community college going into the UCs. If
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: you do that. So more and more people, like when
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: I was going to school, it was a little bit like,
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: it's totally not like that now. It's totally like Drake
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: is visiting his two friends at UCLA and they both
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: did the community college. And now they're juniors at UCLA.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: It makes sense. You save a lot of money. And
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you're still getting the degree.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: And lots of these kids are not ready.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: No, it's the first two years don't matter anyway. But anyway,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I looked it up.
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: It's, Over 25, it's 15%, which is still kind of
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: a lot.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: It is a lot.
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: For over 25, it's kind of a lot.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I think it's going to get worse, to be honest
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: with you.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: The cost of living, like I just went and got
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: two gallons of milk. It was like $ 12. This is insane.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: It's insane. How do these kids, how do they afford
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: to do anything? I don't understand. Now you're coming out
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: of college with debt.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: I don't understand how the kids, and maybe you can
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: answer this, okay? Because when I was young and we
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: were like coming back from Vegas, Peter and I, and
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: I go, you know, I never did the Vegas thing
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: in my 20s.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: I was like, well, how are we gonna afford a
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: hotel room and flights? And we didn't plan it. And
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: I see all these kids that have the three bachelorette
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: weekends for their weddings and then the Coachella. So are
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: they just in credit card debt? Where are they getting
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: their money? Is there just really an element of people
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: that really do come from Generation Wealth that I'm not
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: aware of?
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I'm thinking the same way because now I live in
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: the Valley. I've been here for five years. I go
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: over to the other side and I see how much
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: rent is over there and I see all the people
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: living there and they all look like they're 20 years old.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: Where are they getting their money? I keep asking that
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: to my, these TikTokers, these OnlyFans, people showing their feet
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: on film. I'm like, I go, maybe I need my
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: wife to put her feet on film so we can
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: go to Disney more. I don't know.
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: Only feet.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Only feet or whatever. But where are these kids?
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: How about you just do photos of just your feet
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: at Disneyland?
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: That's just. But right though, when you go to Hollywood,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: you see these kids going out to dinner, right? Yeah.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Mind you, they have to eat. They're not just at
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: a rent. They're food. They're going out to the Pendry
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: and they're going out to the nightclubs. They're spending $ 30
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: on a drink.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: Because.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Where is the money coming from? There can only be
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: so many TikTokers, only so many OnlyFans. Where is it
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: coming from?
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: I need to know too, because when I was young,
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: when I was young and we would go to the nightclubs,
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: like in my early twenties, whatever. And I used to like,
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: you know, be at the bar, somebody buying me a drink.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: I would try to only buy one drink myself and
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: the rest I'd hope to get, you know, we wouldn't
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: have to obviously.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Pay to get in because I was cute enough for that.
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: And then, but I remember looking and always being hungry,
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: also why I probably was thinner, always hungry. And I
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: was like, one day I'll be able to come to
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: a place like this and actually sit and eat. And
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: then I got there, but I would never splurge on it.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: And if we did like a girl's dinner, it was
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: like fucking marmalade.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: It wasn't- Appetizer, I guess I'll share one or something.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't like a big thing. And like, yeah,
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: I really don't know. I think a lot of people-
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: I think a lot of people that are here do
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: get allowance.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: It has to be.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: Adults that have some type of trust that allow something.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: The mom and dads are just feeding them cash.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Or they still get to keep a credit card or
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: maybe they don't have to pay for their car and gas,
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: but they just have to cover like their expenses.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: Like I.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: I look at these kids, I'm like, I can't afford
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: your lifestyle. Like, how are you guys living? Like, it's just,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: it's ridiculous to me. Side note, did you see that
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Will Ferrell went and visited his son at USC?
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I was there that weekend.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: You were there. Now, would you embarrass your son and
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: go party with him? Is he in a fraternity?
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Okay, I have a very good story for you.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: So he's at ASU. He's not a fraternity.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: I did go to his house that he is renting
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: in Phoenix with his friends.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: And I filmed this– I reenacted this scene that Vicki
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: Gunvalson did.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Back in the day.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: She showed up and they really– the producers definitely surprised
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: the kid. Maybe the kid thought he was being filmed,
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: but he didn't know the mom was going to be there.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: And she's like, whew! Anyway, they party all– they're on
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: a football weekend and they put her feet up and
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: she does a beer– Oh my gosh, really? And so anyway,
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: so I joked about that, but his one friend is
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: in a fraternity and they just had a party at
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: their house. And I'm like, oh God, you guys are
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: going to be fucking like kicked out, whatever. So the
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: boy said, I go, oh, too bad you guys don't
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: have a cake. So I can't finish doing this reenactment.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: And the kid goes, we have parents coming this week.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: We have parents coming.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: If you want to come to my fraternity house, you
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: can come, you know? And I'm like, no, that's okay.
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: And I go, Drake, what? He goes, Drake said, I'd
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: be so embarrassed if you were one of those parents
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: that was partying. Because my friend sent me, her daughter
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: goes to U of A, and my friend sent me
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: the barstool video that went viral of some other parents
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: weekend where the dad and the mom, and he's like
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: smacking her ass. And that, no, my kids put up
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: a lot with having me as their mom. And no,
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: like we had a lovely time. A Juicy Scooper got
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: us tickets. We've got to go to a nice... eating,
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: drinking situation before. We had beautiful tickets in the fancy
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: box area.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Oh, nice.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: And they were thrilled. And I kept it together. That
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: is not my goal to humiliate. But yeah, I mean,
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: the kid loved it though. I saw the son being
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: interviewed and he was, that was fine. I think that
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: was really fun. So that's different. Also a dad is
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: different than a mom with boys.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: It's like, you did.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: And, you know, and he's a guy and he's a comedian.
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: It's like, you know, there aren't a lot of, there's,
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: I don't, I have one friend, Tammy Pescatelli, her son's 15,
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: but I don't have any other female comedians who have
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: boys my age that has had to, you know. Yeah.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Do you get along better with other comedians rather than
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: you do with like your other friends? Like, do you just,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: do you gravitate more towards comedians than you do like
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: your normal friends? Like the girls you go out to
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: wine with, do you rather hang out?
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: Does that make sense? I really just enjoy them both.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: I really, I have my, I just. I know comedians
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: love their, they love being around each other.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: I kind of don't have that, thing like I'm going
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: to there is a 60th anniversary of the improv and
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: they invited me I'm going to that I'll be very
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: excited to go to that and but I because of
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: being a mom I never like hung out there every
- 1:23:59Speaker 2: night and stuff because I couldn't really do that and
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: then I have my really good friend's from the Chelsea
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: Lately days. They come on the shows regularly. We go
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: and celebrate and do dinner and we text and like,
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: we're great. Like that's why the episodes with them do
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: so well too. But then I have my friends, like
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: my sorority sisters, they all came out to my house
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: in La Quinta and we had a weekend of the
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: five of us.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Four of us, four of us.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: And it was so fun. And it was exactly the same.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: It was like picking up like it was 1995.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I feel like comedy in the last maybe six months
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: to a year has gotten really big again with the
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: young people. Like the Matt Rife coming out. Oh, yeah,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: he's great. And my favorite, Sebastian Menescalco. Oh, yeah. I
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: love him. Pete Cornelli.
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Well, he's been around forever.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: But I feel like it's just, I don't know if
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: it's because of social media.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Social media is helping a lot.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: But also there are- I went and saw Nate Benescalco.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: Oh, he's great.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Awesome.
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I mean, it's my generation. They can make, they're starting
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: to make fun of the stuff that I, now that
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I deal with. So it's, it's fun, but I feel
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: like comedy has gotten a lot popular.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: I think, I think it does kind of go in
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: waves where it's popping. Like there was a time where
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: there was like a big dip, like at the end
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: of the nineties, where it was just like not happening
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: and comedy clubs are closing and blah, blah, blah. And
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: then it started to pop again in like the 2000s.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: We're hitting my generation now.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: And now it's, yeah. Generations are different now because what
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: kids go through now versus what we went through, you know,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you and I. So, I think maybe that's what it... Maybe.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I don't know. But I just... I love comedy now.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: I've never gotten... I've never been more into comedy than
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: I am right now. Good.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: Great.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: But I've never been like that. Like, I follow all
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: my favorite comedians and they're all so funny and I
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: relate to all of them. I've gotten to the point
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: where I'm like my dad now. I relate to everything
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: now that all these comedians are going through.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: And I think that's great. No, I mean, that's the
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: nicest thing is when people will come up to me
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: after a show and the women will go, I think
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: we're married to the same man.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: Like, I think that's what it is. It's relatable. And
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: that's why comedy really is very subjective.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: So when.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: a man is like, you know, why do people think
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: this girl's funny? That's okay.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: Whatever I'm saying doesn't relate to you. I might not see,
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: think a certain guy is that funny, but you might.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: But the point is, it's subjective. It's, that's why you,
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: there's lots of them and you can enjoy, you can
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: enjoy someone that has a completely different life than you
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: and have, you have nothing in common with them, but
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: the way they tell the story still can be super funny. Right.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: But most people, their favorite comedians are ones that have
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: a similar point of view on life.
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Do you think, is it a lot harder to do
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: comedy now because of the world that we live in,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: the climate that we live in? Is it harder now
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: to do, you know, a show? Do you have to
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: really be careful what you say? Or are we gotten
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: to the point where comedians can kind of, can they
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: say what they want without getting in trouble? Or do
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: they have to navigate around certain topics? Because comedy is
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: supposed to be comedy. You're supposed to be able to
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: make fun of everybody. It's supposed to be lighthearted. And
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: if you don't like it, don't come. Well, okay, so
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle did a show. Yeah.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: And an article. Now, one thing that Dave Chappelle, he
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: started this. And I wish I had the means or
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: the way to do this because I would love to
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: do this. But where you go to his show and
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: they give you a package and they put your phone
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: in it and they seal the package. They hand you
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: the phone. You have possession of your phone. So if
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: it was buzzing... And you have a babysitter and that
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: makes you nervous. You go out and you say, unlock
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: my phone.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: And now you can go talk to the babysitter.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: It's a great thing, but not everybody can afford it.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Not every club can have it.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: The point is so that you're not recording him and
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: that he can work on his act. So when he
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: puts it on Netflix, it's fresh. And also if he
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: does it tomorrow, he doesn't want everybody showing the video
- 1:27:30Speaker 2: of the joke that he did. So there is no
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: video of this, but someone said that he brought up,
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: you know, the problems in the Middle East and this
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: person didn't like what he said. And they said, and
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: all these people got up and left. And that was
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: the articles because someone put that article out. Then people said,
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: I was there. It was one person that was screamed
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: at him. And then he, you know, talked more about
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: it in his ways, very raw about, you know, even
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: this controversial subject. And then they said, when asked for
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: a comment, he just said, I wasn't there.
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: Well, clearly he was there. It was his show.
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: He's just like, I'm not fucking with it. I'm not
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: defending it. I'm not going to talk about it. Don't
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: go to my show. And then it kind of killed
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: the story. And I thought that was good because it's like... Don't, yeah,
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: so to answer your question, yes, a lot of it
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: is the fact that everyone can either film you or
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: report on it. And I've had people report on things
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: that I've said on this show, report, like, you know, bloggers,
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: whatever people say. And it's like a telephone thing. And
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: then someone's like, yeah, I heard that you did this
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: and said this. Totally not true. No evidence of it.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: And then I'm like, but now if I... address this
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: at the top of my show about something that some
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: trolls are saying that I said, then it perpetuates people
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: being like, yes, but. And so it's like you do
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: kind of have to just go.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: This is my show.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: Right, right. And if you don't like it, please listen
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: to another thing or go to another show. Definitely, I
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: always say, if you're easily offended or triggered, a comedy
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: club is not for you.
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: Do you have to have one of those signs when
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: you walk in? We may be talking about this. You
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about when you're filming. I feel
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: like you need a poster that says, we may be
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: talking about this, this, this, and this. If you don't
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: like it yet.
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: There's a great video of Joan Rivers before going on
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: stage where she's like introducing herself and she's behind that
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: and she goes, this, you know, this, or no, I
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: think she had a guy saying all this. This show
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: might talk about blah, blah, blah, all these subjects. And
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: then she like takes over the mic and she's like,
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: so if you don't like it, get the fuck out.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: And then like just goes on.
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: And it's like, I do sometimes think that, There's been
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: times we've talked about it. My husband and I, I'm like,
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: do I have to say things like, I'm not a
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: professional journalist. I am not a doctor. I'm a comedian
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: with an opinion.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: Like, don't get angry if you listen to, you may
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: listen to something and you may not agree with it. Like,
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: it is fine.
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: But, in saying that I'm still very, doing very, very well.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: And if people have dropped off, they no longer, it
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: doesn't show, it doesn't show anything.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: But do you really want those people anyway?
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: There is the, the person that is, their Twitter is
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: blocked by Jax. Yeah. And have you ever met that person?
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: No, I talked to her on social media. I sent
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: her merch. And I think she's funny. Here's the thing.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to go after her. And there's no
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: reason that that's what she wants to do.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: Have you ever unblocked her?
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: I have unblocked her. Okay. I think she's a nice girl.
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: I think she's- Listen, but I just, when people say-
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: When people say, oh my God, Heather deleted a comment
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: or blocked me- Why do I want to be inundated
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: by you saying mean shit about me or my guests? Right. Like, yeah,
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: I will delete a comment.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: I do the same thing.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: I don't need someone to say something for you to
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: wake up and look at the picture of us tomorrow.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: And if I can get to and remove some person
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: with one follower who's saying something nasty about you or me,
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: guess what? I'm fucking deleting it. Yeah, I am blocking it.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: So maybe you won't bother to do another fake person.
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: Exactly. Like you have enough time. Move the fuck on.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: The people that have enough time in their days to
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: go through people that they've never met before.
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: And to go ahead and like start writing negative things.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Like how much time, like this says a lot about
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: who you are as a person. You have that much
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: time in your day. You know, you're not spending with
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: your husband, your family, your kids. Because you probably don't
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: have a family. No, you're sitting behind a keyboard because
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: you're miserable about something in your life. So you're projecting
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: your own insecurities onto other people. Like just goes to
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: show you. Of course I'm going to delete that. I
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: get it all the time. Oh, you delete your negative comments. Yeah,
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: of course I do. I don't want to see that.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Like if you, right.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: If you, if you had a, you know, a bagel
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: place and you had the ability to remove the bad
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Yelp ones that said that the bagel had mold on it,
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: wouldn't you?
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: Yeah. No, I'm going to keep it on there.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: Like, like this is just, the people are just, it
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: just brothels me. And it's just, they just keep finding
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: out with more ways to like go after people. And
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: it's just really just leave people alone. If you don't
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: like it, then don't watch. Don't follow. Like, you know?
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: There's so much. So this weekend is BravoCon. You guys
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: are going to be at the Venetian.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: We'll be at the Venetian. And- Come see us. I
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: will post you on my Instagram.
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: Okay, so just follow him and he'll let you know
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: where he's going to be with Brittany.
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: The baby's not coming, right?
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: No, nope.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: We're going to have the nanny at the house. This
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: is going to be a 24-hour trip for Brittany and I.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: How old is little Cruz? He is two and a half,
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: going on six. He's so cute. Starting school. He's in
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: swim school. Uh, we're keeping them busy. In fact, I'm
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: taking them to Sky Zone right after this. And then
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: we're going to the pumpkin patch. Oh my God. I'm
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: just keeping them busy. It's just fun. It's just fun
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: stuff now. Such a perfect day. I'm at that age
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: where now it's just like, it's fun. I keep taking
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: them and just keeping them busy. I just want to
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: keep them busy. Yeah. And it's fun and I enjoy
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: it and I love them to death. And, uh, people
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: keep asking, is Brittany pregnant and this and that. I let's,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: I'm going to put that clear right now. She is
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: not pregnant. Are we going to plan on having more children? Absolutely.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: But she's not pregnant right now.
- 1:32:40Speaker 2: Well, good that she can have a couple cocktails.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: And Bravo is not making her drink.
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, no. You're doing your own thing. No, she can
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: have her fun.
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: She can have her mommy weekend off.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: And we will see you there. And thank you. And
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: everybody go to Jackson Studio City. It is a really
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: fun place. I suggest.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: It's very laid back. It's very chill. It's not like
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: your other Vanderpumpers. Nothing against them. It's just a little
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: bit bougier.
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: Is the DJ every night?
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: The DJ's on Friday and Saturdays. Okay. Fridays and Saturdays.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: I think it's a very, I love the space where
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: the DJ is.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: And I think it is a perfect place for a
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: birthday party.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Bachelorette party. Whatever.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: A bunch of those. If you want to just have
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: some drinks and some food and seriously, you want to
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: bop to the music and have some fun. It's there,
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: valet parking.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: It's easy.
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: Take an Uber, whatever.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: You can run out different rooms. You can have your
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: corporate parties there. We got a bunch lined up for
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: holiday parties. It's whatever you need. Yeah, whatever you need.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: Like I said, yeah, we are in Studio City. Yeah,
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: Jackson Studio City. Where do you buy that cute hat?
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: That merch, we're still trying to figure out. I'm going
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: through hell right now with merch companies. It's like one
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: after another is just collapsing. We were with Fanjoy, had
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: a falling out with them. Now we're with, I think
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: we're going to a different company, but- I'm working on it.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: I'm working on it. These merch companies are just- Can
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: you buy the merch at the restaurant?
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: You can get it at Jax's right now. The old
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: school way, you have to actually go in and buy.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: We don't have it online yet. It will happen.
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: But it's just a pain in the ass right now.
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: Maybe I'll talk to you about that afterwards. Yes, I will. Okay.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: Because I've got mine. Look.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: So we made this shirt because someone made.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: What company are you with?
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: Look, it's the Lightning Bolt.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: I love it. Oh, my God.
- 1:34:14Speaker 2: And I was saying, I've been wearing your hat so
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: much that I'm like, I hope no one's thinking that
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: it's the lightning bolt like that Raquel is or Shine. Like,
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: what's Heather is obsessed with Jacks.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: But yeah, I love your hat.
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: I'll have to ask you what company you use. Okay, cool.
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Bye.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: Bye.
- 1:34:32Speaker 5: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 1:34:40Speaker 5: before bed. Or two, you know.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: Nobody's watching.
- 1:34:46Speaker 4: You deserve a treat.
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 1:34:53Speaker 5: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
