- 2:26Speaker 2: state softball tournament at Little Creek Park. It will resume tomorrow.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Of course state baseball tournament shaping up. And how about
- 2:33Speaker 2: that Mountaineer baseball team. More on all that coming up
- 2:36Speaker 2: a little bit later on. But I want to welcome
- 2:37Speaker 2: to the show now Andrew Donaldson. He's summed from me
- 2:40Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago, a couple of times when
- 2:42Speaker 2: I was on vacation. You can also read his commentaries
- 2:44Speaker 2: in West Virginia. Watch back. We're going to talk about
- 2:46Speaker 2: one of those recent commentaries, so recent that I think
- 2:49Speaker 2: it dropped today. It's called over paying for the status
- 2:52Speaker 2: quo in West Virginia's primary election. Andrew, good morning and
- 2:55Speaker 2: welcome to the show.
- 2:57Speaker 4: It's a thrill to be here. You do that so
- 2:59Speaker 4: much better than I did it, so it was great
- 3:01Speaker 4: to send into your learning trade, my friend. Thank you, sir,
- 3:03Speaker 4: good to be here.
- 3:04Speaker 5: All right.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I appreciate that. So why do you say, why do
- 3:08Speaker 2: you call it in this column which you can read
- 3:10Speaker 2: in West Virginia watch over Paying for the status quo
- 3:13Speaker 2: in West Virginia's primary elections.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Well, I think it was just a good idea to
- 3:17Speaker 4: step back from it because we all talked about how
- 3:19Speaker 4: much money was being spent on this primary and to
- 3:22Speaker 4: sit back and go, okay, Well, normally, if you spend
- 3:24Speaker 4: a lot of money on something, you want to see
- 3:26Speaker 4: what you get for either in purchase or returning investment,
- 3:28Speaker 4: or what kind of a conversion rate if you're in
- 3:30Speaker 4: the business world. And five million dollars for a very
- 3:34Speaker 4: marginal change in the legislature seems like a lot of
- 3:37Speaker 4: money for not a lot of output. And sometimes we
- 3:40Speaker 4: get lost in the buzzwords and the coverage and we
- 3:42Speaker 4: just talk about the ends and the ouse and the
- 3:43Speaker 4: horse races and all that and go, wait a minute.
- 3:46Speaker 4: This is a lot of money for not a lot
- 3:48Speaker 4: of product to show for it, And it looks like
- 3:50Speaker 4: the next election will be more money and maybe not
- 3:52Speaker 4: as much to show for. Maybe we should just talk
- 3:54Speaker 4: about why all that money isn't actually moving the electorate
- 3:58Speaker 4: that all that money is telling us is so important
- 4:01Speaker 4: to get involved in everything. It just seems like there's
- 4:03Speaker 4: a disconnector we should probably talk about.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Secretary of State's office. Andrews says, only about twenty one
- 4:09Speaker 2: percent of us twenty one percent showed up to vote.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Yeah, and if you think about it and you look
- 4:15Speaker 4: at the numbers, that's probably the floor of people who
- 4:17Speaker 4: are going to vote no matter what. Are pretty close
- 4:20Speaker 4: to it. When you look statistically across West Virginia, it
- 4:22Speaker 4: does bump up and down a little bit. And there
- 4:25Speaker 4: wasn't a big top line race. There wasn't, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 4: the governor's race, the Senate race really wasn't in doubt.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Things like this, So there's reasons for that. But this
- 4:32Speaker 4: is probably about the floor of people that's going to
- 4:34Speaker 4: vote no matter what. So then you got asked like, okay,
- 4:36Speaker 4: everybody's got mailboxes full of things telling us this is
- 4:39Speaker 4: the latest, most important election of our lifetime and people
- 4:42Speaker 4: aren't buying what's being sold to them in the ad
- 4:44Speaker 4: and then the mailers and not showing up at the polls.
- 4:47Speaker 4: That's a disconnect that needs to be discussed because that's
- 4:49Speaker 4: not good for anybody. That's not good for the system,
- 4:50Speaker 4: it's not good for the state. Voters need to be engaged.
- 4:53Speaker 4: So if they're not engaged, we should talk about that.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Why do I mean nobody really thought and again we're
- 4:58Speaker 2: talking with Andrew Donaldson that the turnout was going to
- 5:01Speaker 2: be that great anyway, Most people thought it would be
- 5:04Speaker 2: somewhere between fifty to I'm sorry, fifteen to twenty five
- 5:07Speaker 2: percent is right in the middle there at about twenty one.
- 5:11Speaker 2: What can be done to encourage more people to want
- 5:15Speaker 2: to take part in the system and to vote.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Well, it sounds like over simplification, but you've got to
- 5:20Speaker 4: get involved in things that will get people out to
- 5:22Speaker 4: the polls, to engage, and you've got to let them
- 5:24Speaker 4: think that what they're voting on matters. So if we're
- 5:27Speaker 4: just going to have an election that's pretty much over
- 5:29Speaker 4: what shade of red and what faction people are going
- 5:32Speaker 4: to be involved in, which is what a lot of
- 5:33Speaker 4: the coverage, fairly or unfairly, of this primary was about
- 5:37Speaker 4: a lot of people that are worried about their schools
- 5:38Speaker 4: and worried about their roads, and worried about their water quality,
- 5:41Speaker 4: and worry about their quality of life, and worried about
- 5:43Speaker 4: whether their kids are going to go out of state
- 5:44Speaker 4: or stay in state, and all those things we're always
- 5:46Speaker 4: talking about, and worried about the demographic changes. That's probably
- 5:50Speaker 4: not going to register with those folks really well. And
- 5:52Speaker 4: then you get the ugly mudslinging we see. You see
- 5:54Speaker 4: the advertising that gets very very negative, that turns off
- 5:57Speaker 4: the normies, whatever a normy is anymore, that isn't all
- 6:00Speaker 4: that up with politics because they just go well a
- 6:02Speaker 4: poks on all these people houses. I don't want to
- 6:03Speaker 4: deal with any of this. I don't want it on
- 6:05Speaker 4: my TV, I don't want it in my mailbox. You
- 6:07Speaker 4: can see where the voter turned out. Again, you should vote,
- 6:10Speaker 4: it's your duty to vote, it's your privilege to vote.
- 6:12Speaker 4: You should always vote. But you can also understand and say, yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 4: these people need to vote, but you can kind of
- 6:17Speaker 4: see where they're coming from, where they're a little disconnected
- 6:19Speaker 4: from the process, and your.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Talking to people or whatever engaging with your readers, and you,
- 6:25Speaker 2: of course have a big online following as well. Did
- 6:27Speaker 2: you hear anybody say anything about the primary being closed
- 6:31Speaker 2: as a factor as to whether they or not they
- 6:33Speaker 2: were going to vote. I mean, I'm a registered independent.
- 6:35Speaker 2: I went to the polls. I voted for nonpartisan races.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Some people friends of mine opted to stay home. What
- 6:42Speaker 2: have you heard about that?
- 6:44Speaker 4: I think this is conjecture, but I think you saw
- 6:46Speaker 4: that in the Supreme Court race, which was the one
- 6:48Speaker 4: nonpartisan vote, people came. I think that race was where
- 6:51Speaker 4: some people showed their displeasure and the voting came out.
- 6:54Speaker 4: We also have some interesting stats on this because I
- 6:57Speaker 4: hear people say that I'm like you, you can chisel
- 6:59Speaker 4: independent on my voter car. It's never going to change
- 7:00Speaker 4: ag in for the rest of my life. But you
- 7:03Speaker 4: hear from people and they're like, well, why are we
- 7:05Speaker 4: doing that? Because yes, the Republican Party has grown in
- 7:07Speaker 4: the voter registration has flipped and Republicans have grown, but
- 7:12Speaker 4: the number of independence is also growing almost twelve thousand
- 7:15Speaker 4: over the same period, so the independent group is actually
- 7:17Speaker 4: getting bigger also, So to just turn those people out
- 7:21Speaker 4: and I understand the argument. This is not a right
- 7:23Speaker 4: or wrong thing. It's just to how do you want
- 7:24Speaker 4: to run your party? He we just only want Republicans
- 7:26Speaker 4: in close primary. Okay, that's fine, but understand you're also
- 7:30Speaker 4: turning off independence. And right now that's not a big
- 7:32Speaker 4: deal of supermajority. But down the road, five, ten, fifteen
- 7:35Speaker 4: years independence that might be able to do a coalition
- 7:38Speaker 4: with the Democrats and disaffected Republicans based on cycle to
- 7:41Speaker 4: cycle stuff. Now you've got a coalition that can maybe
- 7:43Speaker 4: give you trouble down the line. It's just something the
- 7:45Speaker 4: Republican Party might want to think about talking.
- 7:47Speaker 2: To Andrew Donaldson. Do want to remind you that the
- 7:49Speaker 2: state's biggest online auction is going on this week at
- 7:53Speaker 2: wv bargains dot com. Bet one hundreds of items, many
- 7:55Speaker 2: as much as fifty percent off and more at all
- 7:57Speaker 2: ends at five o'clock Friday, wv bargains dot com. You
- 8:01Speaker 2: point out in your column five million dollars in less
- 8:04Speaker 2: than ten weeks, mostly from ten or so groups. Now
- 8:09Speaker 2: let that sink in for a moment. Five million or
- 8:11Speaker 2: so dollars in less than ten weeks or so, and
- 8:15Speaker 2: mostly from ten or ten or so groups.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Yeah, and really about five of those was something, you know,
- 8:21Speaker 4: eighty eighty five percent of that. She could tighten it
- 8:23Speaker 4: down even further than that. But when you have some
- 8:26Speaker 4: let's just call them what they were. You had some
- 8:27Speaker 4: grudge matches, right, You had some people that had personality
- 8:30Speaker 4: on top of the politics involved. You had some big
- 8:33Speaker 4: name stuff where a lot of money. You know, when
- 8:35Speaker 4: you start having six seven hundred thousand dollars legislative races,
- 8:39Speaker 4: that's pretty high popping for folks. So it's more than
- 8:42Speaker 4: just the politics. It's also what we talk about that
- 8:44Speaker 4: money funnel then we go. It's also a lot of Look,
- 8:46Speaker 4: everybody in the elected office has ego. You can't get
- 8:48Speaker 4: in there if you don't. So there's some of that.
- 8:50Speaker 4: But when you sit back and look at and just
- 8:52Speaker 4: think about it's like, Okay, well, the last governor's race
- 8:54Speaker 4: was you know, twenty million dollars. In the last legislative
- 8:57Speaker 4: primary was a couple of millions. So are we going
- 8:59Speaker 4: to see a thirty five to forty million dollar governor
- 9:02Speaker 4: race if Governor Morrisey gets a premary in the GOP primary?
- 9:05Speaker 4: Are we going to see Senate and House races get
- 9:08Speaker 4: more and more expensive, and I think the resounding answer
- 9:10Speaker 4: is yes, because this money machine for politics, it's got
- 9:13Speaker 4: to spend money somewhere to justify its own existence. I'm
- 9:16Speaker 4: afraid this is the new normal and we're going to
- 9:17Speaker 4: see more and more of this.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I want to switch gears Andrew for a moment, go
- 9:21Speaker 2: National for a moment. I want to talk about the
- 9:23Speaker 2: America two fifty concert or lack of concert, Martina McBride,
- 9:27Speaker 2: Morris Day, and the time the Commodore's Brett Michaels all
- 9:32Speaker 2: dropping out. Now the President says that he will be
- 9:36Speaker 2: the main events. What do you make of this?
- 9:39Speaker 4: He'll probably draw a crowd. I was upset about the
- 9:41Speaker 4: Morse Day one because I love me some Morse Day
- 9:42Speaker 4: in the time. You know, squawk, you know that's that's
- 9:45Speaker 4: an age reference. Nobody will get that. Look it up good.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I got it because I was there for Jungle Love.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Jungle Love came out when I was in like junior high.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And the fact that I just said junior high should
- 9:54Speaker 2: tell you something.
- 9:55Speaker 4: So there you go, Wow, yeah that was a banger
- 9:57Speaker 4: slaps or whatever the kid's calling in and they but yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 4: it's amazing because and again we got to start with this.
- 10:02Speaker 4: There's two different groups. There's the bi partisan Commission that
- 10:07Speaker 4: was done years ago to set up that big S
- 10:09Speaker 4: word that kids from somewhere's on logan like I shouldn't
- 10:11Speaker 4: be trying to say on radio, and I'm not even
- 10:12Speaker 4: going to try it. But the two fifty Celebration of
- 10:14Speaker 4: semi singinnial whatever. The America two fifty is that group
- 10:19Speaker 4: that's the official government group. The Freedom two fifty is
- 10:22Speaker 4: what President Trump has put on top of that in
- 10:25Speaker 4: conjunction with that, and has used a lot of his
- 10:27Speaker 4: own people and a lot of his own stuff in
- 10:29Speaker 4: the UFC fight and this and a lot of that's
- 10:31Speaker 4: going in under that. So it's two different things going
- 10:33Speaker 4: on at the same time. So it's important to differentiate
- 10:36Speaker 4: those two things. But yeah, this is a mess. And
- 10:38Speaker 4: I actually try and called around a little bit on this.
- 10:41Speaker 4: So the people that were running the concerts, the politics
- 10:44Speaker 4: is going to be put on this, But the people
- 10:45Speaker 4: that were setting this concert up kind of co opt
- 10:47Speaker 4: to a concert package that was already toring around And
- 10:49Speaker 4: you could probably speak to that better than I can.
- 10:51Speaker 4: How those things get set up. There's just some good
- 10:54Speaker 4: old fashioning competence on how that concert got set up,
- 10:56Speaker 4: and then you put the politics on top of it.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Everybody hadn't easy out to get out of it. So
- 11:00Speaker 4: those are two things going on at the same time.
- 11:02Speaker 4: But it is a mess, and it's one of those
- 11:04Speaker 4: things where most normal people will still celebrate the two
- 11:07Speaker 4: hundred and fiftieth, they'll be very excited of it. The
- 11:09Speaker 4: political people will make political hay out of it. But
- 11:12Speaker 4: it is a shame that we can't just do this
- 11:14Speaker 4: without a little bit of working together on it. Because
- 11:17Speaker 4: I'm hearing a lot of star spangled you know, wordedge,
- 11:20Speaker 4: I'm seeing a whole lot of osay, can you see
- 11:22Speaker 4: what I want to put on my CV and show
- 11:24Speaker 4: that I was in charge of it and this is
- 11:25Speaker 4: all about me, That's what I'm seeing. It's amazing because
- 11:27Speaker 4: you see that on national level, and now we're seeing
- 11:29Speaker 4: it on state level, almost an exact parallel of it.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, we have two different things. Well, actually
- 11:35Speaker 2: we don't have two. Let me back that up. There
- 11:37Speaker 2: are going to be two things going on at the
- 11:38Speaker 2: same time in the city of Charleston as part of Americas.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But I mean, you know, the country only turns two
- 11:43Speaker 2: fifty one time, you know, so why not. For her part,
- 11:46Speaker 2: Martina McBride called the whole thing a quote non partisan
- 11:50Speaker 2: event originally that turned out to be very misleading end quote.
- 11:54Speaker 2: So I mean, what do you what do you make
- 11:56Speaker 2: of her statement? Because she's not somebody in her career
- 11:58Speaker 2: and she's been Martina, it's been around for well over
- 12:01Speaker 2: thirty years now. She's not somebody in her career that's
- 12:04Speaker 2: been known for a whole lot of controversy.
- 12:07Speaker 4: No, she's not. And you have people like Brett Michaels,
- 12:09Speaker 4: who's been very friendly to the president, very publicly. It's
- 12:11Speaker 4: not like he's anti Trump or anything. He's done events before.
- 12:14Speaker 4: And you have other artists as well. I think a
- 12:17Speaker 4: lot of them just didn't want to get caught and
- 12:18Speaker 4: mess of it, and rightly so. And again the promoters
- 12:21Speaker 4: that put together the concerts specifically, there's just some good
- 12:23Speaker 4: old fashioning confidence and how they set this up to
- 12:25Speaker 4: start with. So it was one of those things whe
- 12:27Speaker 4: were like, a heck, we're not going to fool with this.
- 12:29Speaker 4: But it is telling and it's a shame that people
- 12:30Speaker 4: are thinking, like the two point fifty, when you start
- 12:33Speaker 4: branding it for your own purposes, you're going to get
- 12:36Speaker 4: that pushback. If somebody doesn't like you personally, they're not
- 12:38Speaker 4: going to want to deal with it. And it really
- 12:39Speaker 4: should be about the whole country.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Andrew Donaldson, you can read this stuff in West Virginia Watch.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Where else can people learn more about you and about
- 12:47Speaker 2: your stuff? Because you're all over social media? And so
- 12:49Speaker 2: I said, you do commentaries for West Virginia Watch. Tell
- 12:52Speaker 2: people where they can find your stuff.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Yeah, West Virginia Watches. I love the opportunity to talk
- 12:57Speaker 4: about what I love the most, my home state of
- 12:59Speaker 4: West Virginia. So it's great right there. I'm on the

- 17:13Speaker 2: you doing, my friend, Welcome to the show.
- 17:15Speaker 11: I'm doing fun. Thank you very much. David.
- 17:18Speaker 2: How are things in California?
- 17:20Speaker 4: Sir?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Daniel.
- 17:21Speaker 11: Oh, it's beautiful. It's wonderful out here. I did you
- 17:26Speaker 11: see my video?
- 17:28Speaker 2: No, I did not see your video. You said you're
- 17:29Speaker 2: going to tag me in one? Did I did not
- 17:31Speaker 2: see it.
- 17:32Speaker 11: It's on It's on Facebook. And I did a video
- 17:37Speaker 11: in my apartment. And I'm out here about ten days
- 17:41Speaker 11: a month, and I really enjoy it. A lot of
- 17:46Speaker 11: people from Charleston if they have, you know, other places
- 17:51Speaker 11: they go, they usually go south and I choose to
- 17:54Speaker 11: go west. So I like it out here, and I
- 18:00Speaker 11: have some friends out here, and gets nice. Hey, by
- 18:04Speaker 11: the way, is the guy that was on before me? Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 11: he's really good.
- 18:08Speaker 1: He's very good.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Andrew Donaldson. Yeah, he's very good, very very talented,
- 18:11Speaker 2: and he's writing now for West Virginia Watch. But he's
- 18:14Speaker 2: also a good follow on x and social media and
- 18:17Speaker 2: got his own media company, Andrews. Andrew's very good. He
- 18:20Speaker 2: got to sub for me a couple of times when
- 18:21Speaker 2: I was on vacation. We'll trying to have him on
- 18:23Speaker 2: the show more often, but not on Mondays though, because
- 18:25Speaker 2: that's your slot.
- 18:26Speaker 11: Hey, let me ask your question. Okay, have you had
- 18:30Speaker 11: the Republican candidate for a mayor on there yet.
- 18:34Speaker 4: I have not.
- 18:34Speaker 2: No, he's not asked, but whenever he asks, he's more
- 18:38Speaker 2: than more than welcome to come on. Actually, Maddie, go ahead.
- 18:43Speaker 11: I don't need I don't even know his name.
- 18:47Speaker 2: It's a Brian Hunt.
- 18:52Speaker 11: I think, well he needs to rageous profile a little bit.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I mean, well, I mean, it's even let's keep in
- 19:00Speaker 2: mind it's just June first. I mean, you know that
- 19:03Speaker 2: back in the old days, they used to say that
- 19:05Speaker 2: campaigns don't even get going to Labor Day. Now I
- 19:07Speaker 2: know that's not the way it is now, but I'm
- 19:09Speaker 2: just saying.
- 19:11Speaker 11: Now, I want to when I were in I well,
- 19:16Speaker 11: of course we had our election in May. Then I
- 19:20Speaker 11: started in August and didn't stop until it was time
- 19:26Speaker 11: to vote, and that's why I won.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, well, I mean, and now, I mean
- 19:33Speaker 2: you're continually running maybe not so much for mayor, but
- 19:36Speaker 2: I mean in uh, in these house seats, especially uh
- 19:39Speaker 2: that they're every two years. I mean, that's you're you're
- 19:42Speaker 2: you're continually in an election cycle. But to answer your question,
- 19:45Speaker 2: I have not had the gentleman on. I met him
- 19:47Speaker 2: a couple of months ago. He was in the studio here.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I'd be more than happy, and I will definitely have
- 19:52Speaker 2: him on maybe whenever he wants. All he's gonna do,
- 19:55Speaker 2: uh is reach out to me. Speaking of may orl stuff,
- 19:58Speaker 2: I want to ask you a question. More, more and
- 20:00Speaker 2: more cities in West Virginia are starting to have their elections,
- 20:05Speaker 2: municipal elections to go along with the county elections. Do
- 20:09Speaker 2: you have a you have a thought on it? And
- 20:11Speaker 2: being the same day.
- 20:13Speaker 11: We started, Oh did you start?
- 20:15Speaker 2: Charleston started it?
- 20:17Speaker 11: Yeah, Charleston started it. You mean in November?
- 20:22Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:24Speaker 11: Yeah. We used to have artist in May. But the
- 20:26Speaker 11: problem was in May we ran into the at school,
- 20:31Speaker 11: we ran into the West test Oh okay, all right,
- 20:34Speaker 11: So we just decided to save a quarter million dollars.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Well that's I was gonna say. People don't understand how
- 20:39Speaker 2: expensive elections are. And I have always been a big
- 20:43Speaker 2: proponent of trying to combine things, you know, when you can.
- 20:46Speaker 2: But I will say when it comes to things like
- 20:48Speaker 2: bonds and levees that some communities and some cities have
- 20:51Speaker 2: sometimes I know one county in particular that that wanted
- 20:56Speaker 2: It's not kanaw uh, but one county that I dealt with.
- 20:59Speaker 2: What I was doing work with the Secretary of State's office,
- 21:01Speaker 2: they had their Emergency Services levy, and they had it
- 21:04Speaker 2: on a random Saturday in February because statistically it had
- 21:09Speaker 2: been shown that that was the snowiest day of the year,
- 21:12Speaker 2: because they didn't want turnout. And I had more than
- 21:15Speaker 2: one person told me that.
- 21:17Speaker 11: We did that when the bomb or levee failed, they
- 21:22Speaker 11: would have it on some obscure day and and have
- 21:26Speaker 11: a eight percent turnout, and the right people would go
- 21:31Speaker 11: to polls and they would pass.
- 21:33Speaker 2: When Danny I was talking to Andrew earlier, and I
- 21:36Speaker 2: brought up this whole thing with these all these performers
- 21:38Speaker 2: backing out of what the president had planned. And there's
- 21:42Speaker 2: still going to be things going on. Don't get me wrong,
- 21:44Speaker 2: but a lot of these performers met Martine McBride, Brett
- 21:46Speaker 2: Michael's poison, several others are backing out of this thing.
- 21:50Speaker 2: And now the President says that, well, he's just gonna,
- 21:52Speaker 2: I guess, give it himself. He said on social media
- 21:56Speaker 2: something to the effect of I have bigger and I'm
- 21:58Speaker 2: very much paraphrasing, I have bigger numbers than Elvis did
- 22:03Speaker 2: during his heyday.
- 22:06Speaker 11: Well he did the biggest, the happiest I've been in
- 22:14Speaker 11: a long time. They're going to take his name off
- 22:16Speaker 11: at Kennedy Center. He he has the Marine Corps band,
- 22:23Speaker 11: you know, the President's band, which is the Marine Corps band.
- 22:27Speaker 11: He can always grab trace adtions. There are other musicians
- 22:33Speaker 11: he could grab if he wants to. But he wants
- 22:35Speaker 11: to make everything about himself, and I think that's I
- 22:39Speaker 11: think that's very sad.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Somebody had brought that up to me. Somebody said about
- 22:43Speaker 2: those performers, saying that, you know, his normal group of
- 22:46Speaker 2: people like Lee Greenwood for example, you know, as a
- 22:48Speaker 2: Ben or Kid Rock or somebody, or some of the
- 22:50Speaker 2: people that performed at the at the the alternate Super
- 22:54Speaker 2: Bowl halftime shows, some of those people. I agree with you.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I don't think it was ever. I think it was
- 23:00Speaker 2: I think he's getting what he wants is he wants
- 23:01Speaker 2: the spotlight on himself. That's that's just me.
- 23:04Speaker 11: Yeah. And by the way, if you go to YouTube,
- 23:06Speaker 11: you're going to watch a duet between Elbots and Martinez
- 23:11Speaker 11: McBride and it is really good.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, so you mentioned the Kennedy Center. His name's
- 23:17Speaker 2: not going to be on that, it looks like, and
- 23:18Speaker 2: he's not going to fight it. He said, this is
- 23:20Speaker 2: Congress's problem. Now, many people didn't know there was a
- 23:23Speaker 2: problem to begin with. But are you surprised by him
- 23:25Speaker 2: not fighting harder for that?
- 23:29Speaker 11: I'm glad he's not. I mean, look, David Indefference. I mean,
- 23:35Speaker 11: I don't want to upset the mega crowd out there,
- 23:38Speaker 11: but he's a draft dodger. President Kennedy was a war hero.
- 23:43Speaker 11: And even though we were Nixon people, you know my family,
- 23:48Speaker 11: we were Republicans. I liked President Kennedy. And I'll tell
- 23:54Speaker 11: you a funny story because they were so parties and
- 23:58Speaker 11: my parents were so artisan. I asked my mother, I said,
- 24:02Speaker 11: what would you do if President Kennedy pulled up the
- 24:05Speaker 11: driveway out there and walked in knock on the door.
- 24:08Speaker 11: And she said, well, I didn't bite him in for
- 24:11Speaker 11: a drink. No, I really I love President Kennedy. I
- 24:19Speaker 11: didn't care for Bobby one bit, but I like President Kennedy.
- 24:24Speaker 2: How do you feel about it? How'd you feel about
- 24:25Speaker 2: Ted Kennedy?
- 24:28Speaker 11: I didn't, I mean I didn't. I didn't want I mean,
- 24:33Speaker 11: and him and Chris Dodd Sandwich and that waitress and
- 24:37Speaker 11: I just you know, orn Hatch pulled him aside on
- 24:43Speaker 11: the Senate floor because Teddy Kimsey had a really bad
- 24:46Speaker 11: drinking problem and he pulled him aside and Orange Hatch,
- 24:51Speaker 11: you remember him, a very dignified man from Utah. He
- 24:57Speaker 11: told me, he said, it's about time you grew up
- 25:00Speaker 11: like that. And uh I think that that helped. I
- 25:04Speaker 11: think that helped change Teddy Kennedy. John McCain and Nelson
- 25:10Speaker 11: and uh Jay Rockefeller both told me the same thing
- 25:14Speaker 11: about Teddy Kennedy. He was the best legislator they ever saw.
- 25:19Speaker 11: And uh Jay said, when you look around on the
- 25:26Speaker 11: Senate floor, Teddy was always back there with the Republicans
- 25:31Speaker 11: trying to work, trying to work something out. And so
- 25:35Speaker 11: you asked me, how maybe I maybe I.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Did, Like I was gonna say, what a novel concept
- 25:40Speaker 2: that is, is that one party person from from from
- 25:42Speaker 2: the opposing party sits down and tries to talk to somebody.
- 25:45Speaker 2: What a novel concept.
- 25:46Speaker 11: Now, what he did to what he did to Robert
- 25:51Speaker 11: Boroke was unspeakable, And I mean you had to see
- 25:57Speaker 11: the Senate s feats to know what I'm talking about,
- 26:00Speaker 11: and it was it was totally unnecessary and totally untrue
- 26:05Speaker 11: and just untowards but in the end he won because
- 26:10Speaker 11: work class.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking to Danny Jones. The Dave Island Show

- 26:30Speaker 2: because what you don't know can't hurt. You've got a
- 26:32Speaker 2: text for you. This is Danny being in California. Did
- 26:34Speaker 2: you happen to see the unbelievable knife any comeback rally
- 26:38Speaker 2: to get the Mountaineers to win they desperately needed over
- 26:40Speaker 2: Kentucky last night. Are there any West Virginia fans there?
- 26:45Speaker 2: And the text refers to it as crack of Fornia. No,
- 26:49Speaker 2: there's no WU fans there.
- 26:52Speaker 11: And when you watch that video, it's only four and
- 26:55Speaker 11: a half minutes on Facebook. David, I deal with that?
- 26:59Speaker 11: Is you about California and the homeless encampments that are
- 27:04Speaker 11: in San Francisco and Los Angeles. I'm down here in
- 27:08Speaker 11: Orange County and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's
- 27:12Speaker 11: I mean, it's beautiful down here, and it's nice. And
- 27:15Speaker 11: I live in a complex with ten thousand other people
- 27:21Speaker 11: and six thousand homes and I love it out here.
- 27:26Speaker 11: And like I say, I own this place and I
- 27:30Speaker 11: come here about every you know, ten days a month.
- 27:35Speaker 2: What's the overall when you meet people for the first time, Danny,
- 27:39Speaker 2: and you tell them that you're from West Virginia, what's
- 27:41Speaker 2: the overall impression or do they have an impression of
- 27:43Speaker 2: West Virginia at all?
- 27:45Speaker 11: Oh? They tell me they've been to Richmond.
- 27:47Speaker 2: That's what I was going to say. Is it somewhere
- 27:48Speaker 2: near they had a cousin that lived in Roanoke or
- 27:50Speaker 2: something like that?
- 27:51Speaker 11: Right? Yeah, no, But but see, I'm believe it or not, David,
- 27:56Speaker 11: I'm kind of known out here. I mean I have
- 27:59Speaker 11: not not walking down the street, but I have a
- 28:03Speaker 11: circle of friends that I'll be with. I'm with every
- 28:06Speaker 11: day and these are very close friends. And I had
- 28:13Speaker 11: with one hundred and fifty of them on Saturday, and
- 28:18Speaker 11: I celebrated thirty two years of sobriety.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I saw that I posted about that. Congratulations on that, sir.
- 28:24Speaker 11: Yeah, and so I have a lot of friends out here,
- 28:29Speaker 11: And I don't mean I'm known, like I walk down
- 28:32Speaker 11: the street and I'm known, but I'm known with my friends.
- 28:36Speaker 11: So I have people I can hang around with out
- 28:38Speaker 11: here if I want to. But being out here at
- 28:42Speaker 11: this complex I'm in, there's a lot to do out
- 28:45Speaker 11: here too.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I would imagine that when they ask you what you did,
- 28:51Speaker 2: and you tell them all the things that you did, said,
- 28:54Speaker 2: I was a multiple term mayor of the capital city
- 28:56Speaker 2: in West Virginia, legislator, owned restaurants, I was an actor,
- 29:01Speaker 2: even throwing you are a grave digger, I would say,
- 29:03Speaker 2: you've got a pretty interesting past for those people.
- 29:06Speaker 11: Now, what happened? What I didn't bring on any of
- 29:09Speaker 11: that up until things happened that put me in the
- 29:15Speaker 11: national spotlight, like the flood or the chemical.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Skill yeah, the water crisis. Yeah.
- 29:25Speaker 11: And then I made national news and people said, what
- 29:28Speaker 11: you know because I didn't. I didn't. I never bought
- 29:33Speaker 11: that up. I would tell people I worked in city government,
- 29:37Speaker 11: in the administrative side. And now my best friends, my
- 29:42Speaker 11: closest friends out here is a public information officer for
- 29:46Speaker 11: the Long Beach Fire Departments, and and I just you know,
- 29:54Speaker 11: I just really really like it. It's just it's really nice
- 29:58Speaker 11: and and I look forward to seeing these people. We
- 30:03Speaker 11: all gather on Saturdays. I'll see a bunch of them
- 30:06Speaker 11: today at noon. So it's pretty nice.
- 30:10Speaker 2: When are you coming back.
- 30:12Speaker 11: I'll be back next Sunday. I want to tell you that,
- 30:16Speaker 11: since we were talking about Kennedy, just came up. My father
- 30:20Speaker 11: hated the old man, hated him, said him a crook,
- 30:26Speaker 11: the bootlegger, and just hated him. But I never heard
- 30:34Speaker 11: him say even though we were for Nixon, now, I
- 30:38Speaker 11: never heard him say one bad word about President Kennedy
- 30:42Speaker 11: or my mother for that matter.
- 30:43Speaker 2: All right, well you all want to invite President Kennedy
- 30:46Speaker 2: into the House for a drink?
- 30:47Speaker 7: Right?
- 30:48Speaker 11: That would have been that would have been sung.
- 30:51Speaker 2: A great story. All right, Danny, we'll let you go,
- 30:54Speaker 2: let you get back to your California dreaming out there,
- 30:57Speaker 2: and we'll have you in studio back with us. I
- 30:58Speaker 2: guess next week. Man, thanks a lot, Thank you, Danny Jones.

- 36:48Speaker 2: Bruce McGrew will join us, and Jamon Schmidt from Goodwill
- 36:51Speaker 2: will be on the show tomorrow. That voice you heard
- 36:53Speaker 2: earlier as Charleston maryor Amy Shoulder, good, how you doing.
- 36:55Speaker 13: I'm wonderful.
- 36:56Speaker 5: It was a great it was a great game, super
- 36:59Speaker 5: super ex so I think the crowd was absolutely amazing
- 37:02Speaker 5: and so looking forward to seeing that. And actually I
- 37:05Speaker 5: heard when I was coming in, I heard somebody talk
- 37:08Speaker 5: about the DOOP and bringing it back, and I I
- 37:11Speaker 5: just as a reminder, and I went back to make
- 37:14Speaker 5: sure I still had it in.
- 37:15Speaker 13: My emails, and I do.
- 37:16Speaker 5: On April eighteenth, twenty twenty three, we begged the organizers
- 37:24Speaker 5: to continue with DUOP and had the money prepared and
- 37:28Speaker 5: found out on the news they were canceling, and so
- 37:30Speaker 5: whoever texted in that they'd like to bring back the DUOP,
- 37:34Speaker 5: I never wanted it to go. I can send you
- 37:37Speaker 5: the email from twenty twenty three April eighteenth, to be exact,
- 37:42Speaker 5: and we'll we'll get the funding and we'll bring it back.
- 37:45Speaker 13: Just call me let me know what.
- 37:48Speaker 8: That made.
- 37:49Speaker 5: I think it was just an easy narrative to say
- 37:51Speaker 5: she didn't like it, she didn't want it, and that's
- 37:53Speaker 5: just simply false.
- 37:54Speaker 13: It's absolutely false.
- 37:56Speaker 5: And so anybody that I've talked to individually, I have
- 37:59Speaker 5: told and we really haven't made it a big deal
- 38:02Speaker 5: because those in the know no. But I'm happy to
- 38:05Speaker 5: share this email and certainly happy to share any conversation
- 38:08Speaker 5: with anybody who wants to talk about bringing a do
- 38:11Speaker 5: up or bringing another car show, because I thought it
- 38:13Speaker 5: was absolutely fabulous, it was a great time. It was
- 38:16Speaker 5: a great you know, great location for sure, and certainly
- 38:20Speaker 5: as we revitalize this riverfront, I think that you know,
- 38:24Speaker 5: in the years to come, it would make an even
- 38:25Speaker 5: better location and certainly something that we're looking forward to
- 38:30Speaker 5: to doing.
- 38:31Speaker 11: Well.
- 38:31Speaker 2: There you have it, Yeah, bring it back, bring it back.
- 38:34Speaker 13: Yeah, we're ready for it.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Well, but the problem the thing about those events like
- 38:37Speaker 2: that is it takes a whole lot of volunteers.
- 38:39Speaker 13: Yeah, and that was the that was the thing. It was.
- 38:42Speaker 5: We lost our volunteers, we lost our other sponsorship money,
- 38:45Speaker 5: not our money. As a matter of fact, we increased
- 38:48Speaker 5: the financial contribution substantially when I became mayor, and so
- 38:53Speaker 5: because I saw what it what it did, and what
- 38:57Speaker 5: it did for the city and the energy that brought,
- 39:00Speaker 5: and so we would we would love to have it back.
- 39:02Speaker 5: So call me three oh four, three four eight eight
- 39:04Speaker 5: one seven four, get.
- 39:06Speaker 2: A question or commented or the concern for the mayor.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Now you can put it out here. There was some
- 39:10Speaker 2: social media chatter about about the pool.
- 39:13Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you know, so infrastructure certainly, and if anybody,
- 39:18Speaker 5: if anybody owns a pool, or has a pool, or
- 39:21Speaker 5: maintains a pool, you know that it is a big undertaking,
- 39:25Speaker 5: and so uh Cato has needed some repair work for
- 39:29Speaker 5: a really long period of time. Cities all across the
- 39:32Speaker 5: state and the country are finding it very difficult to
- 39:35Speaker 5: find you know, parts and chemicals, and so Cato is
- 39:40Speaker 5: something that we have gone after because it's a really
- 39:43Speaker 5: large pool and it is millions of dollars to fix,
- 39:47Speaker 5: and so we have gone after grants and funding for
- 39:52Speaker 5: that pool in particular, But right now we just don't
- 39:55Speaker 5: feel it is safe to open. Tina are are com
- 40:00Speaker 5: folks put out a release I think a week before
- 40:03Speaker 5: last two weeks ago or so.
- 40:05Speaker 13: Letting folks know.
- 40:06Speaker 5: And what we did and what we'll continue to do
- 40:09Speaker 5: is do shuttles to other pools for kiddos or families
- 40:13Speaker 5: who may want to go to another pool. And certainly,
- 40:18Speaker 5: and then the other thing is this, and I saw
- 40:20Speaker 5: a couple of other cities pop this up as well.
- 40:22Speaker 5: We're getting back to full steam on lifeguards, but lifeguards
- 40:26Speaker 5: are really difficult to find right now, and so we're
- 40:30Speaker 5: having a little bit of a challenge with that, but
- 40:32Speaker 5: hopefully that'll be remedied here before too long. I will
- 40:36Speaker 5: say that when I became mayor, we allowed all kids
- 40:39Speaker 5: to swim for free, because we know that in the summertime,
- 40:43Speaker 5: and as a mom of two, I always like to
- 40:45Speaker 5: say I'm a mayor, but I'm a mom first. You
- 40:48Speaker 5: need to kids, get the kids moving, not just their
- 40:51Speaker 5: brains but their bodies, and swimming is just one.
- 40:55Speaker 13: Good way to do that.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Put down the phones.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Yeah, Lee, he's my goodness gracious right, But you know
- 41:00Speaker 5: this week if you had your phone in your hand
- 41:03Speaker 5: this weekend, something was wrong because festival was incredibly successful.
- 41:09Speaker 5: I mean, Zach and the team, and it's it's a team,
- 41:13Speaker 5: that's for sure, just like the regatta, just like Live
- 41:15Speaker 5: on the Levee. These are team sports here, certainly in
- 41:19Speaker 5: the world of events. And so it was float like
- 41:22Speaker 5: a buffalo and then the rumble on Friday night for
- 41:25Speaker 5: Live on the Levee, it was just it was packed.
- 41:28Speaker 5: It was wonderful, the Stern Wheel, the River Queen that
- 41:34Speaker 5: came in to do, Bob Thompson and the salsa night
- 41:37Speaker 5: and it just was just what you remember festival being.
- 41:44Speaker 5: And you know they've gone through some transition periods, Dave,
- 41:46Speaker 5: but it is. It was a beautiful weekend. Mother nature
- 41:50Speaker 5: was so kind to us.
- 41:52Speaker 2: It was a beautiful week I mean just so kind
- 41:54Speaker 2: to us.
- 41:54Speaker 5: I don't give a shout out, you know, not not always,
- 41:57Speaker 5: but sometimes I take different routes every day. But this
- 42:00Speaker 5: this morning, I was on the boulevard and I ran
- 42:01Speaker 5: a couple miles and the trash that was already picked
- 42:05Speaker 5: up and ready to go from late Saturday and Sunday.
- 42:08Speaker 5: So shout out to our Streets Department, our refuse department,
- 42:12Speaker 5: our Park and Rex Department. They do an amazing, amazing job.
- 42:16Speaker 5: We give a lot of props to our police and fire,
- 42:18Speaker 5: as we should, but these guys are working really late
- 42:21Speaker 5: at night and really early in the morning and doing
- 42:23Speaker 5: a lot of the heavy lifting for these events. You know,
- 42:27Speaker 5: more to come, obviously, we have a big USA Cycling
- 42:32Speaker 5: meeting coming up this week to talk about those final
- 42:35Speaker 5: little details, of course, and we're so excited to welcome
- 42:38Speaker 5: back USA Cycling. It is you know, it transforms the
- 42:43Speaker 5: downtown area. Businesses look forward to it. We certainly look
- 42:46Speaker 5: forward to it. I know the racers look forward to it.
- 42:49Speaker 5: We've already seen folks who are already running the routes,
- 42:53Speaker 5: I say running cycling the routes, cycling the routes because
- 42:55Speaker 5: you can you can tell, you can tell some of
- 42:58Speaker 5: these Olympic athletes they you see on our roads. And
- 43:01Speaker 5: so the walkthroughs continue and we're really excited about welcoming
- 43:07Speaker 5: them in as we prepare for more events in the city.
- 43:10Speaker 5: As we always like to say in our office, this
- 43:12Speaker 5: is when you've got to really start stretching and really
- 43:14Speaker 5: start training, because now until September it is full steam ahead.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Text. I know everyone's ready for regatta. And there's one
- 43:22Speaker 2: thing I would love to see comeback, any possibility of
- 43:25Speaker 2: bringing back the old hot air balloon racing.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, Morgantown did a really good job doing
- 43:31Speaker 5: their Certainly we can talk about it, you know, but
- 43:35Speaker 5: I will say this, it's also capacity to what are
- 43:38Speaker 5: the events. You know, we always like to say we're
- 43:41Speaker 5: the fun people, but you know, tourism is business. It's
- 43:45Speaker 5: you know, it looks like we're the fun people, we're
- 43:47Speaker 5: the money people. We're the business people. And so Secretary
- 43:50Speaker 5: Ruby are Secretary of Tourism for the State of West Virginia.
- 43:53Speaker 13: Will tell you that as well. It's a money venture.
- 43:56Speaker 5: And so we have to make sure that if we're
- 43:58Speaker 5: going to put on events like that, we have the sponsors,
- 44:01Speaker 5: Do we have the capacity from a staffing issue to
- 44:04Speaker 5: do those types of things. And when I said earlier.
- 44:08Speaker 13: I'd love to see the deal, I love love for.
- 44:10Speaker 5: It to come back. We also have to talk about
- 44:12Speaker 5: staffing and volunteers and how that works. And you know,
- 44:16Speaker 5: just like USA Cycling, just like Festival, just like Regatta. Yes,
- 44:20Speaker 5: it takes a lot of team members from our city,
- 44:23Speaker 5: but it also takes community members as well for them
- 44:26Speaker 5: to step up and give us just a couple of
- 44:29Speaker 5: hours of their time. And the good good thing about
- 44:32Speaker 5: this community, Dave, and I know you know it as
- 44:34Speaker 5: well as anyone.
- 44:36Speaker 13: People like to do it.
- 44:37Speaker 5: People like to come back and do these things, and
- 44:39Speaker 5: we're so appreciative because it directly benefits our businesses and
- 44:45Speaker 5: the quality of life we you know, we go round
- 44:48Speaker 5: to Robin's Barn all the time with recruiters, hospitals that
- 44:52Speaker 5: are bringing folks in. That's what they're interested in seeing
- 44:55Speaker 5: is the quality of life and not just the events.
- 44:58Speaker 5: The capital investments that we've made as well, so their
- 45:01Speaker 5: kids when they go to the Big Lee ball fields,
- 45:04Speaker 5: they got turf fields for the little guys and little
- 45:07Speaker 5: girls who are out there.
- 45:09Speaker 13: Plan on Saturdays.

- 46:58Speaker 2: Charleston Mayor Amy Schuler, goodwe one is here, Texas. The
- 47:01Speaker 2: state has been working on a bunch of state roads
- 47:03Speaker 2: within the city, but it isn't normal asphalt. Can you
- 47:06Speaker 2: tell us what is being done?
- 47:08Speaker 13: It's the state is doing well.
- 47:10Speaker 2: The state has been working out a bunch of state
- 47:12Speaker 2: roads within the city, but it isn't normal asphalt. Can
- 47:16Speaker 2: you tell us what is being done.
- 47:18Speaker 5: No, I can't speak to that. I can find out
- 47:20Speaker 5: for you. Right there you go and you can call
- 47:22Speaker 5: me three or four three four eight eight one seven four.
- 47:24Speaker 5: You will see as I did this morning on my
- 47:27Speaker 5: way here, just a couple of quick, you know, cold
- 47:29Speaker 5: patching jobs along the way. And of course we're having
- 47:32Speaker 5: a massive, massive, more money than ever before in a
- 47:36Speaker 5: calendar year put into paving projects here in the City
- 47:40Speaker 5: of Charleston. Is something that I asked city Council to
- 47:43Speaker 5: allow us to do, and they concurred to say, we
- 47:46Speaker 5: need we need more, we need more investment in that.
- 47:50Speaker 13: And then one thing I did want to mention that
- 47:52Speaker 13: you know, you see.
- 47:53Speaker 5: Paving projects, but a lot of the infrastructure projects that
- 47:56Speaker 5: you see sometimes in the City of Charleston, you just
- 47:59Speaker 5: don't see. For instance, we just did a new underlay
- 48:04Speaker 5: of the docks. If you're at Belive on the levee,
- 48:07Speaker 5: if you are on Festival on Sunday, you saw and
- 48:11Speaker 5: on Saturday you saw all of.
- 48:12Speaker 13: The boats that were docked there.
- 48:14Speaker 5: But we did a lot of repair work to the
- 48:17Speaker 5: underlying of the boat dock just because it needs refreshed again.
- 48:22Speaker 5: You know, it's you know, several hundred thousand dollars to
- 48:25Speaker 5: do that. It's important. It's important for our our boaters,
- 48:30Speaker 5: our visitors, police and fire who were down there as well.
- 48:34Speaker 5: But I'm not sure that anyone saw that happen. Sands
- 48:38Speaker 5: our city manager who kept going down every day to
- 48:41Speaker 5: take pictures and send back to our team saying they're
- 48:44Speaker 5: making progress, They're making progress. So just just want to
- 48:48Speaker 5: let you know that those are those are some of
- 48:50Speaker 5: the things that are that are that are happening. And
- 48:52Speaker 5: then of course you know all of the other infrastructure
- 48:55Speaker 5: projects that we're working on, including a.
- 48:57Speaker 13: At all of our eight firehouses. We are at fire
- 49:01Speaker 13: station number five.
- 49:02Speaker 5: We started at number we did two, we did four,
- 49:08Speaker 5: we're at five right now working on station one. All
- 49:12Speaker 5: of our firehouses, I shouldn't say all five of our
- 49:15Speaker 5: firehouses are currently being worked on millions of dollars of repair.
- 49:19Speaker 13: Is something that we committed to do.
- 49:23Speaker 5: Many years ago, and so it's a huge infrastructure project
- 49:28Speaker 5: because our firefighters and our ems workers deserve a good
- 49:31Speaker 5: place to live because they live their day and I
- 49:34Speaker 5: also wanted to make mention of our public safety building
- 49:37Speaker 5: as well.

- 49:43Speaker 13: they could come.
- 49:44Speaker 5: About right quick, but when you do big projects like this,
- 49:47Speaker 5: it takes a it takes a long period of time.
- 49:49Speaker 5: But it's stuff that's happening in the background. I always
- 49:52Speaker 5: just want to let people know that while the events
- 49:55Speaker 5: are exciting and the music is exciting, we are always
- 50:00Speaker 5: top of mind that infrastructure, infrastructure investments, park and recreation,
- 50:06Speaker 5: our roads, our bridges, those are things that we also
- 50:10Speaker 5: have on the front burner at all times.
- 50:13Speaker 2: I mentioned earlier that I had Dylan Hackworth on the
- 50:16Speaker 2: show as a young man. Who he and his h

- 50:46Speaker 13: Oh yeah, yeah, we don't own it. We don't own it.
- 50:51Speaker 13: We don't I know who.
