- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I'm looking for somebody that wants to grow.
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: There's not a single person that I really enjoy being around that is mediocre, right?
- 0:06SPEAKER_01: Like I just want to be around people that want to keep getting better.
- 0:09SPEAKER_01: And it's really clear, usually within the first five minutes, if you fit that model or not.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: If you do, you need to make sure that you make that very clear that you're a growth-minded person.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: You care about tomorrow even more than you care about today.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to another episode of My Dental Playbook.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: I'm your co-host, Gary Bird.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: Along with my friend Dr.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Blake Hamblin, we're going to be diving deep into his office and how he's doubled his collections in just under 12 months.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: We're also going to be talking about his journey to a$10 million practice and what he needs to do to get there.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: You're going to see behind the curtain, and Dr.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Blake is amazing at sharing the hard details that you need to know so you can do the same too.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: If you want to grow, this is the show for you.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned.
- 0:49SPEAKER_00: All right, we are live for another episode.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: And today we're going to be jumping in and talking with Dr.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Blake about hiring associates.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: So he's going through right now, he's growing, he's expanding.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: He just had one of his biggest new patient months ever, and he's looking for more doctors to work with.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: And so we were just talking about okay, what would be really helpful to the audience and to all doctors listening?
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: And today we're going to talk about the cheat sheet for associate interviews.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: So if you're a younger doctor and you're interviewing, this is going to really help you to get a job.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: And if you are hiring, this is going to help you to be able to weed through some of the people that probably aren't going to be great associates.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: And we're going to give you five things today.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Now, before we jump into this, really important, check out our sponsor down below, Cherry.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: If you're not using Cherry, you are missing out.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: They are an absolute game changer.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: You should be presenting Cherry to every single patient.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: We have a whole training on it.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Check them out below.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Also have a discount.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: We really appreciate them sponsoring.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: I use them with all of our clients.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: Dr.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Blake uses them.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: Actually, I think you were the top dentist in Houston for financing, which is awesome.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: That's a big Houston's a huge city.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: So let's jump into these five different things.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: You've been doing a ton of interviews and you were like, Gary, I'm kind of blown away that people don't know this.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: And one thing that you said is all of these things tie into closing treatment too.
- 2:18SPEAKER_00: So if you do these things, like if you if you're like, man, I struggle with presenting and closing treatment, this is the episode to listen to because it's the same playbook that you would use to train somebody to get treatment across the goal line as hiring an associate.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: And the first thing that you said is them showing up with energy.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: And we kind of talked about that.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: It's really, are they enthusiastic about dentistry and the future opportunities of working through for with you?
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Could you tell me a little bit about that?
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: By the way, if you're feeling overwhelmed from all the content that Dr.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: Blake and I put out, don't feel bad.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: It's overwhelming.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Sometimes it's hard to know where to start.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: What we did is we took a 47-page growth playbook for you, all the top resources from all the shows, and we broke them down in order so that way you can go through them one by one and you can actually make an action plan for your practice to grow.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So we included it right down below.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: You can give us it's all we need is your email.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: We'll email it to you, and there's no strings attached, doesn't cost anything, absolutely free.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: And you'll get an email with the 47 steps, and that will help you compartmentalize all the different information that we've been giving you and give you step by step.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Tell me a little bit about that.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: For sure.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's there's kind of two different applicants that I've seen over the past couple weeks of interviewing, and one is the younger doc who um doesn't know what they don't know, and then a little a doc that maybe has been doing it for five plush years, and they ideally would approach with uh the interview with the same energy.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: Um coming in excited about the the new the new um opportunity that's at hand, um, excited to learn how this practice is gonna solve the problems that they're they're either uh trying to avoid or trying to leave, right?
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Um and so coming in with that, and we were talking about I was just like, man, it's just the it factor.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: Like how do you explain the it factor?
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Um but just coming in with that that energy that is curious but also confident.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Like you're coming in and you're like, I want to know more about what's going on, asking really uh great questions, which I I know we'll get to, but um, I want to know what's going on in this practice.
- 4:26SPEAKER_01: How how have you built something that seems so different?
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Uh the reason, like what got us here, you know, the reason we're having this conversation is because, like I said, there's something missing that you see potentially in our practice that we might be able to fill that void.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: And so coming with the excitement of you're gonna solve a problem for me, and vice versa, means a lot.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: And you can feel that.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: We talk to a lot of dentists, like I talked to a lot of dentists online, and I know a lot of them aren't associate, they're owner doctors, so they're wired a little bit different.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: But what I've noticed is dentists a lot of times will tackle opportunities almost like a lawyer and an accountant would, you know, and it's just like sometimes I feel like I'm being interrogated when they want to work with me, and I'm like, okay, like that's one way to tackle it.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: But I I that that is, I think by default, a lot of dentists think that way, um, is that they're like bottom line thinkers and they're like, okay, what you know, what are the risks, what are the rewards?
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: And I and I get that, but but what you're saying is like, man, what are the opportunities here?
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: That's that's the first thing.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: How this looks like an amazing opportunity, and being excited about it, it really comes across versus like, well, do you guys do guarantees?
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: You know, and that's the first thing out of your mouth.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay, that you're not starting off the relationship on the right foot.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: So if you are interviewing, be enthusiastic, be excited.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And that leads into the second thing, ask the right questions.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: So you got a lot of weird questions that were not moving the ball forward in your interviews.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: What kind of questions, like if I was interviewing you and I was the owner doctor, you're the associate, what kind of questions would you ask me?
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I kind of already hit on it, but I think really bringing in this other party to the problems that that you're living in.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: So if if you're currently out of practice, that maybe patient volume is a struggle.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: You know, Dr.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Hamlin, I'm I I'm really wanting to grow clinically and I really want to get better at dentistry, but where I'm currently at, I just I don't see enough patients.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Maybe I see you know three or four a day, and I just can't get better at dentistry doing that.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: Um I don't really have any expectations as far as how many uh or m how many new patients I may see, but what could I expect if I was to come work at your practice as far as patient volume that I might be able to grow clinically and help expand where I'm at clinically to get better at dentistry?
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: Like I've now just let them into all the problems that they could solve.
- 6:56SPEAKER_01: If they're a good leader and they're a good business person, they're gonna jump on that with alacrity.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: They're gonna step right into it, like, oh man, let me tell you, let me tell you what we're gonna be able to do.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: The other thing that I like that you did there is you explained a problem, but you didn't badmouth the last company.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: No matter how bad the last company is, don't badmouth them because that is a red flag to every single owner.
- 7:18SPEAKER_00: Anytime that I interview somebody and they're like, Yeah, the last place I worked at, they were so toxic.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I'm like, uh automatic, no.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Automatic, no, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not gonna be the next person on your toxic list.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: So um, so don't, so you did it.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: What you did there is you said, hey, the last place I'm working at, here's the scenario.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: You didn't bad mouth them, you didn't put them down, you just said, hey, the volume isn't there for me to do what I need to do.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: How are you gonna solve that?
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: And that allows the person that is gonna mentor you, it's gonna work with you, it invites them in.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: And those are the kind of questions that you want to be watching for as an owner is does this person want to do more dentistry, or are they just looking to coast, you know, or just kind of have things handed to them on a silver uh platter?
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: It you don't want that.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: You want somebody who's gonna work, who's excited about the work opportunities, who who wants to really get into a ton of dentistry.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Any other questions that you would be watching for?
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: From the opposite side, as as the one interviewing people, I would just say I'm I'm looking for somebody that wants to grow.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: I there's there's not a single person that I really enjoy being around that is is mediocre, right?
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: Like I I I just want to be around people that want to keep getting better.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: And it's really clear, usually within the first five minutes, if if you fit that model or not.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: And so if you do, you need to make sure that you uh make that very clear that you're a growth-minded person.
- 8:42SPEAKER_01: You care about tomorrow even more than you care about today.
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: You want you want to do whatever it takes to reach the top of the summit.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: And that comes off very clearly if if you um if you if you can use the right verbiage and use the right language to explain the problem you're in, where you want to go, like I just said.
- 9:04SPEAKER_01: It it's very clear the difference between the person that uses as an excuse versus uses that as like a launch pad.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: Okay, so so number one, you're looking for or you want to come across as energetic, enthusiastic about the opportunity.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: Number two, you want to make sure that you're coming in with questions about the opportunity, allowing the leader to solve some of the problems that you're currently facing without bad mouthing the the last circumstance.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: And then number three, you we put here confident, but nothing to prove.
- 9:40SPEAKER_00: Uh, or maybe another way to say that is genuine and honest about your current circumstances.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: For for us, I mean, our whole practice is kind of built around this.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: Um, as we're, you know, even onboarding a new doctor uh the last couple of weeks.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: That's something we talked about today.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: It was, hey, when we're ha when we're doing these exams, don't get so worked up as if you're gonna do something wrong.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Talk to this person like they're your mom.
- 10:06SPEAKER_01: Hey mom, I'm really concerned about this.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: Um I I don't want this turn into something even bigger.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: Let's get this fixed.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Uh don't worry about how how everything can come off.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Sometimes when you go into an interview, you're so nervous and you want to impress them or you you don't care, or or this, that, or the other, you come off all the energy is exposed.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: And so if you can come off as very confident, um, you're not here to prove anything.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: You just want if we're if I'm a good fit for you, then I then I hope you f you accept me.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: And that's the type of energy that makes the world go round.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 10:43SPEAKER_00: And okay, so that's really good.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: So being confident, but nothing to prove.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Um I it's so simple, but it's sometimes hard to do, right?
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Especially when you feel inadequate, when you're worried.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: But one of the ways that like I learned uh when I first got on stage to speak, I was so scared, I was shaking.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Like you could visibly, you could visibly see me shaking.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: And something someone taught me was, Gary, you can take the nerves that you feel and you just tell yourself that you're excited.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: Because it's very uh being nervous and being excited are almost the same thing.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: It's just your body responds a little bit differently to them.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: And so I started to do that and just say it because I get it every single time.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: I'm like, oh man, I'm really nervous.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: And I start like, what am I gonna say?
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: Do I know what I'm gonna say?
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And though this and I just go, hey, I'm not, I'm not nervous, I'm excited.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: How about that?
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: And your body starts to respond in a different way.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Um, and because I know sometimes people show up to interviews and they get nervous, right?
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: And it's like, so you don't get to, you can't be confident when you're nervous.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: It's very, very hard.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: So um, the other thing you can do is just tell everybody, hey, I'm really nervous.
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: Like you're Dr.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: Blank, you are amazing.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: Your practice is amazing.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: This makes me a little bit nervous, but I'm really excited to talk about the opportunity today because I think I could bring some value.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: If you tell the person that you're nervous, your nerves instantly go away.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: And the other person always responds kindly.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: Always.
- 12:04SPEAKER_00: I've never had anybody ever be like, you're nervous, ha ha.
- 12:07SPEAKER_00: They're always like, hey, no, you're gonna do great.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: So those are little tricks to make sure that you can be your normal confident self.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Um, let's talk about number four, looking the part.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: Uh, you had some people show up, probably didn't look the part of like right off the bat, you're like, no, um, this isn't gonna work.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: So, what what are you looking for when someone shows up physically?
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Just play the part.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: It it like we led with a lot of this, is the same thing you would talk about if you're talking about how to increase pay patient presentation.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Uh don't walk in and flip flip-flops in a swimsuit, right?
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: Like, look like a doctor.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: Um, if we're gonna if we're gonna be meeting via Zoom, like throw in a collared shirt if you're a guy, you know, just look like you're interested in the interview, not that you just came back from a run.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: And it just it just again, it's just showing interest.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: Hey, I'm really interested in this conversation.
- 12:59SPEAKER_01: I'm really interested to see where this can go to learn more, to be curious.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, I feel like curiosity is, and we've talked about this, curiosity is a great characteristic of leaders.
- 13:11SPEAKER_01: And I think with inside whether you're an owner of a practice or not, I think doctors are leaders within their practice.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: Whether and and and you have to be.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: Everyone around you is looking to you, even though you're you're thinking, well, I just went to dental school, whatever.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: You don't the uh the the luster of of your degree has kind of worn off.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: But other people look at you and they say, No, you're you're doctor so-and-so.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: So looking up to you.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: And so um I'm looking for curious people because curious people usually want to work to grow and to get better and do all the things that we've talked about.
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: That's so true.
- 13:47SPEAKER_00: I I totally agree with you.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: You know, it's interesting in the marketing world, there's a saying, do you know what you call a marketer in a suit?
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: You're not dealing with the marketer, you're they're dealing with a salesperson.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: So that's like a rule in marketing is that hey, if someone is a true marketer, they're not gonna show up in a shirt and a tie because the marketers don't think that way.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Salespeople do.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: And so, but but on the on the opposite end, like you want somebody in dental, you want like I want somebody showing up with the white coat.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Kind of looks dorky.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: I don't want them doing TikTok dances or being the latest trend.
- 14:25SPEAKER_00: Like that would make me nervous if my doctor knew every trend that's going on on social media.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: You know, you know what I mean?
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: There's like there's certain things that you're looking for, and the same thing with marketing, but it's the opposite, I would say.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: Um, so hopefully that makes sense.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: Um, okay, last thing relatability.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: Figure out how to connect.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: And this is like communication one-on-one, whether it's with a patient, with your boss, with your associate.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: How do you connect with somebody?
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, people want to do business with people they like.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: And so when you can be likable, that goes a long way.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: And when you know that maybe you're a golfer and you know that I like golf, we start talking about golf, all of a sudden we're we're buddies.
- 15:08SPEAKER_01: And there's a lot that goes to that, right?
- 15:11SPEAKER_01: And so um that doesn't mean be disingenuous, that just means find something to connect with.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, I grew up in the Dallas area, and I, you know, I I came to Texas one time and it was fun, but it was really hot.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: You know, whatever.
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: Find something that you can connect with, and people tend to latch on to that and remember.
- 15:29SPEAKER_01: We had a patient today, um, she brought her son in, and um she remembered that we I went to UT Dental School, she's an Aggie.
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: She won this like longhorn at the aquarium or something, and she was like, I thought of you, because I was either gonna burn this or give it to somebody.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Well, thanks for thinking of it.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: And that was just because we connected, and she had asked me what school I went to, and we had talked about schools and blah blah blah.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: And so it that that's just one example, but it goes in interviewing, it goes with meeting other people um at church, it goes anywhere, you know.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: If you can connect with people and get them to like you by just connecting with them and say, hey, we have these things in common.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and people the easiest topic for people to talk about is about themselves.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: And so what you the way that I've learned to like connect with people, because some people are born with it, right?
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: Like some people naturally just connect with people, and people are like, I like that guy, um, or I like that lady.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Um, other people really struggle with it.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: They're like, man, I don't know how to do it.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: So I've I've watched and read about this a lot, and it's it's basically as simple as either one, doing your homework before you go.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: So go look on their social media, like, do they have kids?
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: Do you have kids?
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: Talk about kids or talk about being married, or um, when you walk in the parking lot and you see they have a particular kind of car, if you're into those kind of man, I saw that you that car out there.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: Is that yours?
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: That's a really cool car.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: Um, or walking through and seeing where they went to college, or do you have a golf simulator?
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: Or like those, you just it's it's really connecting with people is being observant and then asking questions about that, because it's so easy for me to ask you a question about dental and you for to answer it.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: Like we even talk about it on the podcast.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: You're like, Gary, if you just ask me the questions, the podcast is easy because it's all about stuff that you already know that you're doing, and it automatically can you automatically connect with it.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: So that is a way that I think that if you struggle with that, just be observant.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Like watch them, do a little bit of do five minutes of homework and then ask them questions and you're gonna instantly connect.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: And it's the same thing with the patients.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: I I know a lot of offices do um, they'll call them like yellow sheets.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: I don't know how you guys do it, but it's like you have a sheet and their record, and it's like the stuff that they that you know about them.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: They have five kids, they like fishing, they they love the cowboys, or they like the Houston Tech, whatever.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: And then when you walk into the room, man, did you see that game?
- 17:58SPEAKER_01: That's a cheat code.
- 17:59SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: That's a cheat code.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: That's a cheat code.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: We just put that in the uh in the little block underneath their uh their chart on their chart, so when you click on it, it's right there.
- 18:08SPEAKER_01: But that that's huge.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: I I totally agree.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: I and it goes back to you said observant, I said curious.
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: I think all of that leads back to leadership.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: And when two people can be trying to lead the conversation in a really kind way, you're not you're you're actually not butting heads.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: You're you're going in the same direction.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: And you're dancing.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: That's right.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: And so that's what you're looking for.
- 18:31SPEAKER_01: If you're an associate, you want to work with another person, um, the owner doc who wants to dance with you, and vice versa.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: And that's really it.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: That's all we're looking for.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: I don't necessarily care if you can prep a great crown.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: I can teach you how to do that.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: Like, that's not the hard part.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: The hard part is can you connect with people?
- 18:52SPEAKER_01: And if you can't do it in the interview, you probably can't do it with the patient, so you're probably not a good fit.
- 18:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's so true.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like in sports where they say, Hey, look, I can teach you all these techniques, but I can't teach you how to run a 40 really fast.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Like, you're either really fast or you're not.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: And then we can work with on all the other stuff.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: You're either really you if you're really strong, then we can work on all the other things.
- 19:13SPEAKER_00: If you can jump really high, you can whatever.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: And then we can work on all the other things.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: So uh the the soft skills is what they call them.
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: And uh you can get better at the soft skills.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: A lot of times people talk about soft skills like it's something that you can't ever do.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: You can get better at it, you just have to work at it.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: And so I I love this.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: This was great.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: Any final thoughts before we part ways with everybody?
- 19:34SPEAKER_01: No, I'm really excited.
- 19:35SPEAKER_01: We're we're still actively interviewing, still actively hiring.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: Um, and so and I don't know honestly when this will stop.
- 19:42SPEAKER_01: I think like in the near future, there may be more locations to come.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: And so we're looking for great people.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: I think if we can find great providers, whether it's in our location or other locations, we can find a home for them and really help support and grow them.
- 19:56SPEAKER_01: So if you're a doctor that feels like you'd resonate with some of the things we talked about, I'd love to connect with you.
- 20:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, you can reach reach out on Facebook, Instagram, whatever.
- 20:05SPEAKER_01: And uh, and even if you're not, you just want help, um, shoot me a text.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: I get or send me a message, I get messages left and right, and I I I love giving back.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: So uh I hope this was helpful and I'm excited for the next one.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: See what he did there, guys?
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: He connected with you, he asked good questions, he presented a problem for you to help come and solve.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Like he literally just ran the playbook on you guys.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you guys caught it or not, but uh he's an expert at it.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much, Dr.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: Blake.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: That was really good, and uh look forward to talking next week.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: You bet.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
