- 1:29Dayna Roselli: Dana Roselli and Sean McAllister here.
- 1:32Dayna Roselli: Another week, and it is finally getting hot in Las Vegas.
- 1:37Dayna Roselli: And Sean, usually I love it, but I don't know.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: I'm kind of worried.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: I don't know if I'm prepared for it.
- 1:41Sean McAllister: What do you mean?
- 1:42Sean McAllister: You've been talking for months.
- 1:43Sean McAllister: You're like, oh my gosh, I can't wait till the warm weather's here.
- 1:46Sean McAllister: I can't wait for the pool weather to be here.
- 1:48Dayna Roselli: Oh, the pool weather's been here, though.
- 1:50Dayna Roselli: That's fine.
- 1:50Dayna Roselli: I'm already in the pool.
- 1:51Dayna Roselli: I was swimming all weekend and laying out.
- 1:54Dayna Roselli: So that's fine, but it's beautiful.
- 1:55Sean McAllister: Is it just the 90s and above?
- 1:57Dayna Roselli: It's not even the nine.
- 1:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I guess the 90s I can handle.
- 1:59Dayna Roselli: I'm thinking of the 100s.
- 2:00Sean McAllister: Got it.
- 2:01Dayna Roselli: I'm like, I don't know because it feels hot when it's 90.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: It's already been 90.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, wow, we gotta go another like 10, 20, 20 degrees some days.
- 2:11Dayna Roselli: I don't know if I'm ready for that.
- 2:13Sean McAllister: I mean, it is toasty.
- 2:15Sean McAllister: That sun is intense.
- 2:16Sean McAllister: I you do forget about it.
- 2:17Sean McAllister: You do.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: And you know, it you have to acclimate yourself to the Las Vegas summertime weather.
- 2:23Sean McAllister: And especially someone the other day I was just talking to when they were like, oh my gosh, the the hair dryer effect is gonna start kicking in soon.
- 2:31Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:31Sean McAllister: Like that summer breeze that's just hot.
- 2:35Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:35Sean McAllister: And it feels like there's a big hair dryer blowing in your face.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: That's true.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: And you know, this weekend is gonna be in the 90s, and EDC, the electric daisy carnival, is in town, and that will be really steamy.
- 2:48Dayna Roselli: Good thing is, I mean, they do have some stuff going in the day, though, with like the EDC camp and stuff, but good thing it's 7 p.m.
- 2:54Dayna Roselli: to 5 30 a.m.
- 2:55Sean McAllister: Yeah, and okay, all in the overnight hours.
- 2:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, when that sun goes down, and that does make a difference.
- 3:00Sean McAllister: It makes a huge difference.
- 3:02Sean McAllister: It really does.
- 3:02Sean McAllister: And I we were just out, uh, we went to one of those uh lantern festivals in Mesquite that's right on the Nevada uh Arizona border.
- 3:10Sean McAllister: And driving back home from it, it was nighttime, and we drove by the speedway and saw all of the lights that were set up and all the staging being set up there for EDC.
- 3:21Sean McAllister: They have that camp EDC with all the canopies and everything that were set up out there.
- 3:27Sean McAllister: So they're ready.
- 3:28Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah, it looks really nice.
- 3:30Dayna Roselli: And when I was because we were we're doing a little bit on that in our segment that we do on KCal, and I was reading about it, and I was like, the traffic starts at 2 p.m.
- 3:38Dayna Roselli: So be prepared, even though it starts at seven.
- 3:40Dayna Roselli: So, you know, people start, you know, kind of filing in.
- 3:43Dayna Roselli: So they're like, if you're going to the daytime camp EDC, keep that in mind.
- 3:47Dayna Roselli: And so anyway, it it gets packed up there, hundreds of thousands of people.
- 3:50Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it is popular.
- 3:52Sean McAllister: People from all over the world uh come here to Las Vegas for EDC, one of the biggest uh electronic dance music festivals in North America and even uh in the world.
- 4:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 4:05Sean McAllister: So it is definitely an attraction, and um, so are the outfits that we're going to see uh from guests who are in town for the festival.
- 4:15Sean McAllister: We'll see those all over, all over the strip.
- 4:17Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: And you know, I learned something new when I was reading the website.
- 4:21Dayna Roselli: Um, you can go, you only have to be 18 to go.
- 4:24Dayna Roselli: Uh, and then 21 and over, obviously, to purchase alcohol on site, but I didn't realize that, you know, there was an age limit on it.
- 4:31Dayna Roselli: I didn't know it was 18 and over.
- 4:32Dayna Roselli: So I thought that was interesting.
- 4:34Dayna Roselli: Also, I noticed that uh um Resorts World just put out that the EDC hotel is completely sold out.
- 4:39Dayna Roselli: So they kind of, you know, they theme it up over there for that.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: And it's one of the northern, you know, properties, which is closer to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
- 4:50Sean McAllister: Right.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: So that's where EDC is.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: So anyway, yeah, they're they're sold out.
- 4:54Sean McAllister: So yeah, now have lots of activations over there for the the EDC guests who are staying there on property and who are just gonna pop in to visit.
- 5:03Sean McAllister: So welcome to all the EDC visitors.
- 5:06Sean McAllister: Have a good time and be safe out there.
- 5:09Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and get some pool time in while you're here.
- 5:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I do love the pool, Sean.
- 5:12Dayna Roselli: I went swimming the other day and I was like, people like to go and like lay out and like chill in their chair.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: Not me.
- 5:18Dayna Roselli: I'm in the chair.
- 5:20Dayna Roselli: I am in the water.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: I am under, I am swimming, I am all of it.
- 5:24Dayna Roselli: I just I love the a good, like the first dunk.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 5:30Dayna Roselli: It's the most refreshing thing ever.
- 5:32Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 5:32Dayna Roselli: So anyway, it's gonna be a fun summer here in Las Vegas.
- 5:35Dayna Roselli: Should we talk about some of our text messages we got?
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: Last week, you were talking about uh people bringing their kids to the Las Vegas strip, no big deal, but like having them out and about late night, you know, after the sun goes down and doing cartwheels in the lobby and crossing the street, you know, rolling the carriage and all that.
- 5:57Sean McAllister: Well, and also if you're gonna bring your kids to the strip, like just because you are in Las Vegas doesn't mean that parenting stops.
- 6:04Sean McAllister: Like you still have to parent your children while you're here in Las Vegas, especially at night when it gets packed and it's a more adult vibe.
- 6:13Sean McAllister: And we did get some uh text message responses um from listeners.
- 6:18Sean McAllister: Uh Kevin in South Carolina chimed in for Myrtle Beach.
- 6:22Dayna Roselli: Baby, listen, Myrtle Beach.
- 6:24Dayna Roselli: Oh, I had a couple good spring breaks there.
- 6:27Sean McAllister: I remember being piled in the car driving down to Myrtle Beach.
- 6:31Sean McAllister: That was fun.
- 6:32Sean McAllister: Man, a lot.
- 6:32SPEAKER_05: Oh my god, the stories.
- 6:34Sean McAllister: Uh, but Kevin said he was like, hey, I was listening to the story about that girl doing cartwheels through the Bellagio lobby, and I agree a hundred percent.
- 6:42Sean McAllister: Parents have got to be responsible for their children, and that seems to be a rarity.
- 6:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 6:48Sean McAllister: And it's not a rule.
- 6:50Sean McAllister: Every parent isn't, you know, abandoning their parental duties in Las Vegas, but some are.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 6:58Dayna Roselli: So that's what you know.
- 6:59Dayna Roselli: Kevin agrees.
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: Kevin um also said, hey, he likes the text messaging.
- 7:04Dayna Roselli: Uh, we do too.
- 7:05Dayna Roselli: He says, I love the show.
- 7:06Dayna Roselli: I've been supporting you guys and listening for several years.
- 7:08Dayna Roselli: Hope to run into you one day out in Las Vegas.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: Well, you probably will because we're out and about a lot, right?
- 7:15Dayna Roselli: Um, we also got a message from the first person who text messaged us.
- 7:20Dayna Roselli: We celebrated him last week.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: And now we know it's a him.
- 7:23Dayna Roselli: It's Steve.
- 7:24Dayna Roselli: And um Steve said, thanks for reading my message on the podcast.
- 7:30Dayna Roselli: My wife and I are on our way to Las Vegas right now.
- 7:33Dayna Roselli: So we love that Steve and his wife were coming out.
- 7:36Dayna Roselli: Um, and he loved the Vegas Near Me info.
- 7:40Dayna Roselli: And um he said, you know, he's gonna use it on his trip.
- 7:43Dayna Roselli: And he's here until the 18th.
- 7:44Dayna Roselli: So we hope you're having a good time from Charlotte, North Carolina.
- 7:48Sean McAllister: Also, uh from Newburgh, New York, Sue wrote in, and um, this was kind of back on the kids in in Vegas thing, too.
- 7:57Sean McAllister: She says, I don't understand why you would want to bring your kids to Las Vegas.
- 8:01Sean McAllister: We were at a nights game, and the parents of a 9 to 11-year-old girl were hammered, and the little girl was so embarrassed.
- 8:09Dayna Roselli: Oh, geez, that's awful.
- 8:11Sean McAllister: That's sad.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: I mean, I think kids going to a golden nights game is fine, but when your parents are hammered, yeah, that doesn't, and it's worrisome to the people around you.
- 8:18Dayna Roselli: Like, who's taking care of this child?
- 8:21Sean McAllister: It is.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: Gosh, yeah, be careful, people.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: So, yeah, I mean, I think people are making some good points.
- 8:26Dayna Roselli: It can be really frustrating.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: So we are um glad to see that resonated with some people and you know, get your feedback, and maybe we just, you know, bring the kids to Vegas, but you know, just maybe not out and about at night and maybe not being drunk.
- 8:43Sean McAllister: Maybe keep tabs on them and yourself.
- 8:46Sean McAllister: That's the key.
- 8:46Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's the key right there.
- 8:48Sean McAllister: Uh uh, Matt from Raleigh, North Carolina, also wrote in and said, uh, just wanted to say I love your show and all the latest Vegas news and Vegas topics.
- 8:58Sean McAllister: It's really great hearing from real Vegas veterans.
- 9:02Sean McAllister: We appreciate you listening, Matt and Steve and Sue and Kevin.
- 9:08Sean McAllister: We appreciate the text messages.
- 9:10Sean McAllister: Um, keep them coming in.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, definitely.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: And hey, FYI, Matt's Twitter handle is at VegasFan777.
- 9:19Dayna Roselli: If you want to follow Matt on Twitter.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: Thank you, Matt.
- 9:22Dayna Roselli: Hey, we went to the Power of Love Gala last week.
- 9:26Dayna Roselli: Uh, we were on the red carpet because it's always a star-studded affair.
- 9:30Dayna Roselli: This year they were honoring Blake Shelton.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: He was there with Gwen Stefani.
- 9:34Dayna Roselli: This it raises so much money for the Cleveland Clinic, Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in downtown Las Vegas, a fabulous facility we have here.
- 9:45Dayna Roselli: And it's so important.
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: They, you know, raise money for hopefully to find a cure for Alzheimer's, bring awareness, they support caregivers, dementia, all that.
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: Um, anyway, while we were there, we got to talk with a lot of celebrities.
- 9:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, we did.
- 9:58Sean McAllister: Uh, there were uh uh Housewives from Bravo who are on the carpet, lots of music stars, including Blake Shelton and uh Gwen Stefani, um, and other celebrities who are just there to support and who have personal stories connected with um Alzheimer's and dementia as well.
- 10:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, definitely.
- 10:17Dayna Roselli: And Kristen Chenowith looked so cute, didn't she?
- 10:19Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh, she was adorable.
- 10:21Sean McAllister: She was a stunning and her dress was like this black, sparkly dress that kind of looked tuxedo-ish.
- 10:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, looked like it had little like white flaps along the edge that looked like collars.
- 10:34Dayna Roselli: It was it was a great the style of her dress um is something that I like to wear a lot.
- 10:39Dayna Roselli: And so I was like, oh gosh, where did she get that?
- 10:42Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: So the next day she posted a picture and she put where the dress was was from.
- 10:47Dayna Roselli: She tagged them, and it was actually like more of a uh really formal wedding type.
- 10:52Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 10:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it was like on a like you know, I I'm gonna actually find it right now and share it because I don't want people to go, well, you need to tell us.
- 11:00Dayna Roselli: Um, but it was so cute.
- 11:03Dayna Roselli: And so now I'm all like, I need to find this dress, but I haven't looked yet on um at how much it costs.
- 11:09Dayna Roselli: So that could be a factor in if I get it or not.
- 11:11Sean McAllister: That could, it could very well be.
- 11:12Sean McAllister: It's one thing to know where it comes from, it's a whole other thing to find out if it uh is accommodating your your bank account.
- 11:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it was Lee Petra Grebina.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: I don't know if I'm saying that right, but it says, Welcome to the world of Lee Grebinah, bridal and evening couture.
- 11:29Dayna Roselli: So yeah, interesting.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so I was like, Oh, I found out where it is.
- 11:33Dayna Roselli: So anyway, she looked adorable.
- 11:35Sean McAllister: She did.
- 11:36Sean McAllister: And uh Blake Shelton, as you mentioned, Dana, was the honoree of the night.
- 11:42Sean McAllister: He was being celebrated for um all of the philanthropic work that he has done throughout his career.
- 11:50Sean McAllister: Um, and as we talked to him there on the the carpet, he ended up uh talking about the potential of a Las Vegas residency.
- 11:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it sounded pretty convincing.
- 12:02Dayna Roselli: So let's listen to what he had to say.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: We've been talking about doing a residency for uh actually a few years now, and and and to be honest, I've just kind of pushed it away just because at the time I was still doing two seasons of The Voice a year, every year, and and so now that uh I've got uh some time on my hands, I'm starting to think maybe we'll do it.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: So maybe we'll do it next year.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: I mean, we as I said, that's not like some cryptid, you know, message.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying that we're we're talking about it right now.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know if next year's too soon, but I'd like to do it.
- 12:40Dayna Roselli: I feel like there wasn't even like a doubt in his language there that he wants to do one and will do one.
- 12:46Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 12:47Sean McAllister: I mean, he says there are talks happening and he would love it to happen next year.
- 12:51Sean McAllister: So if he's the one who wants to it to happen next year, he could make it happen.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: Right, exactly.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: You know, the price just needs to be right for everyone, exactly.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: So you never know.
- 13:01Dayna Roselli: But um, you know, and and gosh, country music is so big.
- 13:04Dayna Roselli: We've had so many like residencies lately that are you know based around country music.
- 13:09Dayna Roselli: And I am I like country music, but I'm not a huge, huge fan where I listen to it all the time.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: But you know, it's true.
- 13:15Dayna Roselli: If you go to a good country music show, even if you aren't familiar with it, and I know I bring it up all the time, like Luke Bryan show, you'll become a fan.
- 13:23Sean McAllister: You do.
- 13:24Sean McAllister: And I think the appealing thing to me about country music is that the songs tell such good stories.
- 13:32Dayna Roselli: They do, and simple.
- 13:33Sean McAllister: It's simple stories, it's not I mean the other genres for me, it's hard to follow.
- 13:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 13:40Sean McAllister: What is being it's hard to follow the lyrics.
- 13:44Sean McAllister: Um, I find country music easy to follow, and it's you know, fun songs and great, yeah.
- 13:52Sean McAllister: It is, it's good.
- 13:52Dayna Roselli: And I mean the big thing I think if for for country music artists who play Vegas is you've gotta make it a little bit of a show.
- 13:59SPEAKER_04: You do.
- 13:59Dayna Roselli: You know, that's just the difference.
- 14:00Dayna Roselli: It's just, you know, as long as it doesn't feel like a concert.
- 14:03Dayna Roselli: I know there's some people who like that feel too, but I think for a residency, you know, just gotta do some a couple different things, you know, just do some cool stuff, do something different that you wouldn't do at a concert, and then sold.
- 14:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it'll be successful.
- 14:16Sean McAllister: That's why I like Carrie Underwood's show over at Resorts World, because that is a freaking show.
- 14:22SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 14:23Sean McAllister: That's a production.
- 14:24Sean McAllister: Um, but yeah, it'll be great to see if Blake ends up here with a residency of his own.
- 14:30Sean McAllister: Time will tell, hopefully sooner than later.
- 14:33Sean McAllister: But um, as soon as we get word on that, we'll of course share that with you too.
- 14:38Sean McAllister: And if you'd like to see our other celebrity interviews from the Keep Memory Alive gala, you can go to our Vegas Revealed YouTube channel.
- 14:46Sean McAllister: Uh, our new TV episode that is out this weekend uh is a good chunk is focused on Keep Memory Alive and the interviews that we got over there, including uh some Footloose action.
- 15:02Dayna Roselli: I interviewed Denise Williams all about her song Let's Hear It for the Boy.
- 15:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, an iconic scene in Footloose, which just celebrated 30 years.
- 15:10Dayna Roselli: Uh Kevin Bacon went back and visited the the school that they shot the film in in Utah, you said, right?
- 15:17Dayna Roselli: Utah, yeah.
- 15:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and it was fun.
- 15:19Dayna Roselli: He was it was great.
- 15:20Dayna Roselli: He went and looked, opened up the locker he had and all that.
- 15:23Sean McAllister: Um, so my mother-in-law went to high school at that school.
- 15:28Sean McAllister: Wow.
- 15:28Sean McAllister: And so it's a huge deal up in the Salt Lake area.
- 15:33Sean McAllister: People are like, oh, that's the Footloose School.
- 15:35Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, that's a big deal.
- 15:37Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 15:37Dayna Roselli: What a classic movie.
- 15:39Dayna Roselli: I mean, and Let's Hear It for the Boy was such an iconic moment in the film.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: Um, and Denise Williams was saying, you know, she still gets emotional about it because she didn't know how the song, you know, or where it was gonna be placed in the movie, she was telling us.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: And she was saying, like, the fact that it was, you know, when he teaches Willard to dance and one of the best, like really the best, you know, scenes of the movie.
- 16:03Dayna Roselli: Um, because, you know, now the town's gonna allow everyone to dance and they're gonna have a dance.
- 16:07Dayna Roselli: And and Kevin Bacon, who plays Wren, he's like, you need to learn how to dance, Willard.
- 16:12Dayna Roselli: And he's like, What do you mean?
- 16:13Dayna Roselli: Like, I've never danced.
- 16:14Dayna Roselli: So it's and then Let's Hear for the Boy comes on.
- 16:16Dayna Roselli: It's a great moment.
- 16:17Dayna Roselli: Anyway, Denise Williams lives in Las Vegas.
- 16:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I just love how she lit up when you asked that question.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: Right.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: I mean, she just a switch flipped and she was all about it.
- 16:32Sean McAllister: So go check that out on our Vegas Revealed YouTube.
- 16:35Dayna Roselli: Um, sticking with country music, real quick, quick, wanted to mention because I see Red Rock Resort promoting this uh concert with Dustin Lynch.
- 16:43Dayna Roselli: And I know a lot of people love Dustin.
- 16:45Dayna Roselli: Um, he's a country music superstar.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: He's coming to Las Vegas again for a performance at the Sandbar Stage.
- 16:52Dayna Roselli: That's August 2nd.
- 16:53Dayna Roselli: So it's coming up, not too far from now.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: Um, doors open at 6 p.m.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: That's located poolside at Red Rock, and tickets start at$55.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: So you'll want to get those.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: Um, and they go on sale Friday, May 17th.
- 17:06Dayna Roselli: So if you're listening to this, they go on on a Thursday, they go on sale tomorrow.
- 17:10Dayna Roselli: If you're listening to this anytime after that, they're on sale now.
- 17:13Sean McAllister: Well, speaking of shows, um, there was a show that was announced this week, um, and it got us thinking, what defines a residency in Las Vegas?
- 17:26Sean McAllister: Because the show that announced uh has uh really just a handful of dates.
- 17:33SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 17:34Sean McAllister: And we're like, well, is this really a residency or is this just like that person's popping in that person every time you're free?
- 17:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that person's performing five times over the next two years.
- 17:45Dayna Roselli: Like, yeah, it is odd, right?
- 17:48Dayna Roselli: But it I think we might have discussed this way back in like 2020.
- 17:52SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 17:52Dayna Roselli: But it's worth bringing up again, like, what is a residency, you know?
- 17:56Dayna Roselli: Um, this show's going on um and has three dates in 2024 and two dates in 2025.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: And I was like, is that a residency?
- 18:06Dayna Roselli: Or is it that person performing or doing a show five times, three times in 2024, and two times in 2025.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: I know there's always a chance to extend and stuff like that, but I don't know.
- 18:19Dayna Roselli: I uh just how do you feel?
- 18:20Dayna Roselli: Since we've got the text messages going, by the way, we didn't even explain.
- 18:23Dayna Roselli: You can text message us by going to our show notes.
- 18:25Dayna Roselli: We have a link there that now sends us a text.
- 18:28Dayna Roselli: Um, it doesn't reveal your whole number, your name, or anything, so it's a private.
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: But um, let us know your feelings.
- 18:34Dayna Roselli: I mean, what do you think?
- 18:34Dayna Roselli: I mean, a Las Vegas residency to me is like a continued show um with that's a little bit closer together.
- 18:43Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah, like hey, July, August, well, like weekends with Adele.
- 18:49Sean McAllister: Weekends with Adele, I feel like is a good example.
- 18:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's definitely a residency.
- 18:53Sean McAllister: A full-blown residency.
- 18:55Sean McAllister: I mean, there were shows throughout the year, and it was you know, one, two, three, two shows a weekend.
- 19:02Sean McAllister: Right.
- 19:03Sean McAllister: So I think that counts.
- 19:05Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 19:06Sean McAllister: I think sporadic pop-ins don't necessarily count.
- 19:10Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: Like Duran Duran was here recently, and we didn't call it a residency.
- 19:15Dayna Roselli: They were here before and they're back again.
- 19:17Dayna Roselli: It's not a residency.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: They came in for a show.
- 19:19Sean McAllister: Yeah, I think a recurring engagement is different from a residency.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: I think a recurring engagement is a better way to put it.
- 19:28Dayna Roselli: I like that.
- 19:29Dayna Roselli: I like that.
- 19:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I don't, I don't know.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: But um, I don't know.
- 19:35Dayna Roselli: So it's it's interesting, but I just don't want, I don't want it to be overdone, I guess.
- 19:39Dayna Roselli: I feel like it's such an honor to have a residency, and it's it's doing you're doing it differently if you're doing a residency.
- 19:46Dayna Roselli: You are planted, you have a show that's Las Vegas based, you have an idea of a show you're gonna put on that's gonna be a little bit different if you're out touring.
- 19:56Sean McAllister: For example, Lunel.
- 19:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, the comedian Lunel, she has a residency every Sunday and Monday over at Jimmy Kimmel's comedy club.
- 20:04Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 20:04Sean McAllister: Like that's a a standing thing.
- 20:07Dayna Roselli: Continued, right?
- 20:08Dayna Roselli: And then she'll do, you know, her one-offs in different cities and stuff like that occasionally.
- 20:12Sean McAllister: And um But she doesn't go to Detroit and say, here's my one night residency.
- 20:18Dayna Roselli: Right, yeah.
- 20:18Dayna Roselli: So yeah, I don't know.
- 20:20Dayna Roselli: But I feel like if you get a residency, it's you know, it's something different and and it should be called that, but yeah, a few shows.
- 20:29Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 20:30Dayna Roselli: I feel like there needs to be at least like a couple days in a row or something.
- 20:33Sean McAllister: Yeah, uh the term's being tossed around pretty loosey goosey.
- 20:38Sean McAllister: It really is these days.
- 20:39Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 20:39Dayna Roselli: So anyway, what do you guys think?
- 20:41Dayna Roselli: Uh let us know.
- 20:42Dayna Roselli: You can always text us, it's in our show notes.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: Hey, update, um, because we love to keep you updated on the Rio.
- 20:49Dayna Roselli: Since you guys love the Rio news, they got a new president.
- 20:52Dayna Roselli: The last president that they had, we interviewed the the CEO and and owner of the of the company that owns the Rio.
- 21:01Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 21:02Dayna Roselli: Um, but this is the president of the property, and so um whoever was the president before had to step down.
- 21:08Dayna Roselli: I think there were some medical issues or some health issues, I should say, that they needed to step away.
- 21:14Dayna Roselli: And so they have now um announced a new president, and I love this.
- 21:18Dayna Roselli: It is uh Patrick Miller, and he actually comes from Park MGM and Nomad.
- 21:26Dayna Roselli: So he was like a big part of when the Monte Carlo turned over to the Park MGM, and all I can think of is wow, that was a pretty big transformation because I used to live connected to that because I lived over at Veer, which is right in front of Aria.
- 21:44Dayna Roselli: So I used to walk over to that Monte Carlo and it was not good.
- 21:50SPEAKER_05: Whenever I put that in front of something, you know I wasn't a fan.
- 21:53SPEAKER_05: Well that Monte Carlo.
- 21:55Sean McAllister: And they did over at at Park MGM, they did a great successful.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: Uh brand transition from Monte Carlo to Park MGM.
- 22:04Sean McAllister: It's I mean, it feels even now when you step inside there, it does not feel like an older property.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: No.
- 22:13Dayna Roselli: And they have no smoking, so I wonder if Rio will think about that.
- 22:15Dayna Roselli: I wonder if it's a good idea.
- 22:16Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 22:17Sean McAllister: I mean, I don't know.
- 22:18Sean McAllister: I saw there was something I saw online recently uh asking people what their thoughts are on uh a smoking ban at all casinos and um there were a bunch of polls going around.
- 22:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, there seem to be a a lot of people for it, obviously some against it as well.
- 22:34Sean McAllister: I doubt it will be something that takes hold uh citywide.
- 22:38Sean McAllister: Yeah, but um certainly I think other individual properties uh could catch on to something like that, especially like the Rio, because it's a standalone entity, like the Dreamscape, the company that owns it, doesn't have a ton of other properties.
- 22:53Dayna Roselli: Right, right.
- 22:54Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 22:54Dayna Roselli: So they could just yeah, it doesn't like affect anything else really.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: It's just we decided our property's not gonna have smoking.
- 23:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you know, whatever.
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: But we'll see.
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 23:03Dayna Roselli: Um I don't know if it's the best idea or not.
- 23:05Dayna Roselli: I'm I'm still tossed on the smoking thing, but I think it's cool to have certain properties that don't have smoking.
- 23:10Dayna Roselli: And if people choose to hang out there because that's where they want to go eat and gamble, that's a great option for them.
- 23:15SPEAKER_04: Absolutely.
- 23:16Dayna Roselli: Options are everything, right?
- 23:17SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 23:18Dayna Roselli: Um, so Patrick Miller is the new president over there at the Rio, and he did hold key positions with MGM Resource International, including senior vice president overseeing the hospitality divisions at MGM Grand New York, New York, Excalibur Signature, and the Shadow Creek Golf Course as well.
- 23:35Dayna Roselli: So interesting.
- 23:36Dayna Roselli: He definitely has some experience, so excited to see what he'll do over there.
- 23:40Dayna Roselli: Sean, you know, I get confused on what we've done and where.
- 23:43Dayna Roselli: Did we even ever talk about the cake class we took with Buddy Velaster on the audio podcast?
- 23:47Dayna Roselli: Because I know we talked about it on KCal.
- 23:50Dayna Roselli: I know we did it in the TV show.
- 23:52Sean McAllister: I don't think we've talked about it on the audio podcast, no.
- 23:56Dayna Roselli: We are always like literally staring at our like wall of things that we have stuck up to the wall, our computers and going, wait, what did we talk about?
- 24:05Dayna Roselli: But anyway, we took a cake decorating class with Buddy Velastro, and that was a blast.
- 24:09Dayna Roselli: Buddy um has a restaurant over at the Venetian called Buddy V's.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: He has Carlos Bakery, which is, you know, I don't know what location it is.
- 24:19Dayna Roselli: The third location he's got locations in New Jersey and he's got them all over now.
- 24:23Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 24:24Dayna Roselli: And so people line up for that bakery.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: And it's so good.
- 24:27Dayna Roselli: It is so good.
- 24:28Dayna Roselli: And now we know why.
- 24:29Dayna Roselli: Because we decorated and had to eat some desserts.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: We were forced.
- 24:32Sean McAllister: And got a lot of intel from Buddy in the process.
- 24:34Sean McAllister: We were chatting with him the whole time.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:37Sean McAllister: And and heard how he does all this stuff.
- 24:39Sean McAllister: He's kind of a cake chemist.
- 24:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:42Dayna Roselli: It's really good at what he does.
- 24:44Dayna Roselli: And in the cake class, he had to fix all my roses that I was trying to do.
- 24:49Dayna Roselli: And I was like, wow, buddy, you're really good at this.
- 24:51Dayna Roselli: And he was like, Well, I better be.
- 24:52Dayna Roselli: And I was like, Yeah, I guess good point.
- 24:54Sean McAllister: You don't get a name like Cake Boss by being bad at cake decorating.
- 24:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, he's a reality star.
- 25:00Dayna Roselli: My the girl who does my eyebrows is like, oh my God, I love his show with his family.
- 25:04Dayna Roselli: And, you know, she's Italian and she's like, and I'm like, I need to watch this.
- 25:08Dayna Roselli: She's like, oh, it's so great.
- 25:09Dayna Roselli: Um, so um, and then obviously, you know, like we said, he's got, you know, got the bakery, the restaurants, so he's got all sorts of stuff.
- 25:16Dayna Roselli: He's got cake vending machines.
- 25:18Dayna Roselli: He is so popular.
- 25:19Dayna Roselli: We were there for the 25th anniversary of the Venetian, and it's like we sat there to interview him, but we had to wait for everyone to take their selfies with him.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: We did, everyone was stopping to get a picture with Buddy.
- 25:31Sean McAllister: It was great.
- 25:32Sean McAllister: His popularity is just so widespread.
- 25:36Sean McAllister: I mean, everyone from little kids to like grown men who were coming over, they were like, Buddy, how's it going, man?
- 25:43Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 25:44Sean McAllister: So it is.
- 25:45Sean McAllister: He has such a wide fan base, but it was great to stop.
- 25:50SPEAKER_05: I was just thinking, Elton.
- 25:51SPEAKER_05: Like, what with the name Buddy, right?
- 25:54SPEAKER_05: It's funny because people probably come up to him and like, hey, buddy.
- 25:57Sean McAllister: Hey, buddy.
- 25:59SPEAKER_05: Okay, sorry.
- 26:03SPEAKER_05: And it just like it flows and makes sense.
- 26:06SPEAKER_05: It does.
- 26:07SPEAKER_05: Hey, buddy.
- 26:08Sean McAllister: Hey, buddy.
- 26:08Sean McAllister: What's going on, buddy?
- 26:10Sean McAllister: Uh, but we just had a chance to talk with Buddy.
- 26:12Sean McAllister: He gave us some of his time and it was a great chat.
- 26:15Dayna Roselli: It was.
- 26:15Dayna Roselli: I mean, he um is happy to be at the Venetian and he will continue to be there.
- 26:20Dayna Roselli: And and I said, Sean, grab Buddy and let's talk to him.
- 26:23Dayna Roselli: And you guys had a great chat.
- 26:24Dayna Roselli: Let's roll that.
- 26:26Sean McAllister: Buddy, it's the Venetian's 25th anniversary.
- 26:29Sean McAllister: I know you uh baked quite the celebration cake.
- 26:32Sean McAllister: Tell me about it.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: Well, I gotta tell you, just so proud to be part of the Venetian 25 years, and you know, we've been part of the Venetian family for about 11 years now.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: Um, and sometimes I just pinch myself.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, making that deal with Mr.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: Adelson on a handshake and in a dream, and and what we've been able to accomplish.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: It was just like my honor to give back and make such a fantastic cake.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: So we made this giant elaborate cake, very Venetian-esque in a decor.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Um, and just happy to be here to be part of the festivities.
- 27:07Sean McAllister: And I know you have uh Buddy V's, we're looking at Buddy V's right behind us.
- 27:11Sean McAllister: We have the uh bake shop.
- 27:13Sean McAllister: We call this the Buddy Corner here, you know?
- 27:16Sean McAllister: It's nice how they did that for you, isn't it?
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: Honestly, and um and and and truth be told, like I said, I I told Mr.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Adelson, he said, you know, it's my dream to have a restaurant.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: Because I'm not a I'm not a uh a restaurateur, I'm a baker by trade.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: I go, but uh I love food, uh my family cooks the culinary rock stars of my life from my mom, my aunt, my dad, my wife, my mother-in-law, um, and and I just wanted to bring those flavors to the to a restaurant in a strip.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: And look, when the idea's like done, we're gonna make it happen.
- 27:47Sean McAllister: It was just like that.
- 27:49Sean McAllister: I'm curious, is there a member of your family who's always like pushing in, like, hey, when's the next Vegas trip?
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: My wife loves Vegas.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: Um, but she we love coming to Vegas.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: I honestly, it's not another city like it on a planet.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: It's like a second home for us.
- 28:05SPEAKER_01: Um, it's funny because when when I opened a concept, I moved my in-laws out to help run it.
- 28:12SPEAKER_01: They were supposed to come and get it started for a year.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: They don't want to leave, they won't come home.
- 28:17SPEAKER_01: And then Vegas is their home now, so I'm like, alright, you're gonna come back to Jersey?
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: Like, no, no, we're staying in Vegas, so see, that's what Vegas does.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: It stinks its clubs in the end and you don't leave.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: It really does, but um, I've been coming here for like 11 years.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: I'm here like five, six times a year.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: My staff at Buddy V's and my staff at the bakery have known me since the beginning that we're family.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: Why we're here and why we continue to thrive is because they do what they do every day, and I couldn't be prouder or happier with my staff, and and honestly, just not because it's my place, but they do an amazing job.
- 28:54Sean McAllister: And I know the Venetian has a partnership with uh Formula One for the race coming up again in November.
- 29:00Sean McAllister: Are you gonna be back out here for the race?
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Honestly, last year I wasn't able to make it because I had something important for one of my children, but this year, that are live.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: I'm coming no matter what, because I I'm gonna watch that race from that window right there, buddy bees.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: And I think I'm gonna get the best view in a strip.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 29:21Sean McAllister: And I know you have a cake decorating class that's going on right behind us.
- 29:25Sean McAllister: Um if I go home and decorate a cake tonight, what is your top tip for me?
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: Well, all right.
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: So if you're baking it from from like, you know, box or scratch, that doesn't matter, right?
- 29:38SPEAKER_01: You gotta let the cake cool down.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Now, my kids are guilty of it.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: They want to make a cake, they do a box make a cake at home.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: The thing they dump it, it's hot.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: They don't want to frost it.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: No, you can't frost a cake until it's completely cool.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: I think that's the hardest thing is to get like a square, beautiful iced cake.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: And and and you'll see, because they're gonna be successful here.
- 29:59SPEAKER_01: I mean, it might not look exactly like mine.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: Well, decoration is objective too, isn't it?
- 30:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it's not gonna be like cockeyed or crooked and stuff like that.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: So um, that's the trick.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: The secret sauce.
- 30:10Dayna Roselli: And if you want to see that interview with Buddy Velastro, you can watch that on our YouTube channel.
- 30:16Dayna Roselli: We do that in our TV show this weekend.
- 30:18Dayna Roselli: It should post uh over the weekend, and then you'll be able to watch it there.
- 30:22Sean McAllister: And a quick note about that interview we talk about Buddy's cake vending machines, and there is an important tip that you're going to hear uh in the uh TV episode.
- 30:33Sean McAllister: So be sure to go and check that out before you get a slice of cake out of Buddy V's vending machine.
- 30:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, because I have a feeling a lot of people get that slice of cake at like 2 a.m.
- 30:41Sean McAllister: or they don't follow instructions.
- 30:46Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 30:46Dayna Roselli: Or they might not care at 2 a.m.
- 30:48Sean McAllister: They may not care, but buddy does because he puts his heart and soul into each slice.
- 30:53Dayna Roselli: He sure does.
- 30:54Dayna Roselli: All right, well, speaking of tips, let's do some tips.
- 31:00Sean McAllister: This week in Tips Dana, we have something that is absolutely free, which is free is always good.
- 31:07Sean McAllister: And we have something for sports fans too.
- 31:10Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is a really good tip segment.
- 31:12Dayna Roselli: One of them includes free valet.
- 31:15Dayna Roselli: And I love this.
- 31:15Dayna Roselli: The Fountain Blue is doing uh a special all summer through Labor Day.
- 31:20Dayna Roselli: It's going on right now, and that is free valet on property if you spend money there.
- 31:27Dayna Roselli: And we're talking about like eating at the restaurants, like including Don's Prime, China Club, Washing Potato, La Fontaine for breakfast, lunch, dinner, um, if you enjoy a signature cocktail at one of the bars or lounges, all of you are eligible to validate uh your valet.
- 31:44Dayna Roselli: So that is something that you and I recently talked about.
- 31:47Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 31:48Dayna Roselli: We said if you're going there to spend money, you'd think that you could at least have your parking or valet validated.
- 31:55Dayna Roselli: And that's what they are doing.
- 31:56Dayna Roselli: Also, if you hit up one of the stores, uh Aquamarine, uh the Masoni store, get some treatments at Lapis Spa, if you go to the salon, all that is included in that validation promotion.
- 32:09Sean McAllister: And on top of that, um, we also want to remind you Fountain Blue also offers up to four hours of free self-parking to all of its guests in the resort's garage.
- 32:21Sean McAllister: So there's always four hours of free parking, but now through Labor Day, you can get your valet validated if you're spending money on property, which I think is how everyone should be.
- 32:33Sean McAllister: Um, but bravo, Fountain Blue.
- 32:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's great.
- 32:36Dayna Roselli: We went over to that party recently and I valeted because it included free valet with the invitation, and it was really nice.
- 32:43Dayna Roselli: They're quick over there.
- 32:44Dayna Roselli: You go right in, walk through the doors, and you're there.
- 32:47Dayna Roselli: I don't mind the uh parking garage for certain hotels.
- 32:51Dayna Roselli: I prefer to park in the parking garage.
- 32:53SPEAKER_04: Right, yep.
- 32:54Dayna Roselli: Because it takes long to get your car back and stuff like that.
- 32:56Dayna Roselli: This one you get that link to your phone, and then it's like sitting there for you when you get by the time you get down there.
- 33:01Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 33:02Dayna Roselli: Um, also I have a friend that does not like elevators.
- 33:05Dayna Roselli: So she always makes me drop her at the bottom.
- 33:08Dayna Roselli: Then I've got to drive up and park, go down the elevator, try and find her.
- 33:12Dayna Roselli: So this whole valet thing, it's great.
- 33:17Dayna Roselli: So, and I usually go over there with her because she lives in my building and it's right around the corner.
- 33:21Dayna Roselli: So I'll be like, hey, want to grab dinner or want to grab a coffee?
- 33:23Sean McAllister: It's your neighborhood casino.
- 33:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I'm like, oh, that I gotta drop you at the thing.
- 33:27Dayna Roselli: So now I'm all about the free valet.
- 33:29Dayna Roselli: Valet me.
- 33:30Dayna Roselli: I don't want to go through all this rigma roll, as my mom would call it.
- 33:34Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 33:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 33:35Sean McAllister: And I love uh valet validation and free parking.
- 33:39Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, sports fans, listen up.
- 33:41Sean McAllister: Uh Sunset Station, this is one of the casinos that is owned by uh station casinos.
- 33:49Sean McAllister: Uh, they have just unveiled a new station sports book uh over at uh Sunset Station Resort.
- 33:57Sean McAllister: So there are a ton of uh new high-definition screens everywhere you look.
- 34:03Sean McAllister: It's a really swanky vibe in there.
- 34:06Sean McAllister: They have plaid carpets, uh very visually interesting, luxury stadium box experiences as well.
- 34:13Sean McAllister: Um, so this is uh I always look for great places to go and watch sports.
- 34:20Sean McAllister: Right.
- 34:20Sean McAllister: Watching at home is fun, but I like to, especially if it's a game that I'm really interested in, right?
- 34:26Sean McAllister: I like to feel the vibe of a crowd if I can't be at the game in person.
- 34:31Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 34:31Dayna Roselli: No, that makes sense.
- 34:32Dayna Roselli: And they even have comfortable leather seating.
- 34:34Dayna Roselli: So it's like you're at home, but not really.
- 34:37Sean McAllister: It is.
- 34:37Sean McAllister: And so the debut of the new sports book over at Sunset Station comes uh just really months after the Durango Resort opened, which is another station casino property.
- 34:49Sean McAllister: Um, that sports book is uh absolutely beautiful.
- 34:52Sean McAllister: And I feel like they kind of took a page out of what they did at Durango and applied it over at Sunset too.
- 34:59Dayna Roselli: Because they have plaid carpet too, right?
- 35:00Sean McAllister: They do, yes, they do.
- 35:02Dayna Roselli: No, but I know it's a big deal.
- 35:03Dayna Roselli: I know some people really uh it factors into you know where they're gonna go when they wanna go watch games depends on uh how good the sports book is or if it's the feel that they want.
- 35:16Dayna Roselli: So I think something like this is important because now this could be a destination spot for people to go to Sunset Station.
- 35:22Sean McAllister: Right.
- 35:23Sean McAllister: And I mean, sports books have definitely changed a lot over the years here in Las Vegas.
- 35:28Sean McAllister: I know even when I moved here in 2005, largely the sports books still had like those it almost looked like a college library.
- 35:37Sean McAllister: You know how you walk in and there's just all those little cubicles and you just pull up, do your studying in there.
- 35:42Sean McAllister: Yeah, it was like all those cubicles that were kind of set up staring at the the screens and they had all the wagers up on the board.
- 35:49Sean McAllister: Right.
- 35:50Sean McAllister: But now the sports books have transitioned into a much more like living room kind of feel where you can sit there, be comfortable, and uh know that if you're there for the long haul, you're gonna be comfortable for the long haul.
- 36:04Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 36:05Dayna Roselli: And it's fun and it's a new environment.
- 36:06Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 36:07Dayna Roselli: And I was reading at the bottom of the uh release about the sports book that they were saying like this is all part of Station Casino's ongoing reinvestment uh in its portfolio of off-strip luxury resorts and neighborhood casinos.
- 36:19Dayna Roselli: So they're really pouring a lot into not only the new hotel casinos, like you mentioned, but also the ones that are already standing.
- 36:27Dayna Roselli: And and you make a good point there.
- 36:29Dayna Roselli: I I love that.
- 36:30Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I think this is just part of a um a refresh that's going on property wide over there at Sunset Station as well.
- 36:38Sean McAllister: So we love uh when investments are made uh to keep things current.
- 36:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah, definitely.
- 36:45Dayna Roselli: Again, speaking of Red Rock, I'm gonna be over there this weekend for the launch of basically the unveiling of the Easy Day Foundation.
- 36:55Dayna Roselli: It's uh labeled as a beacon of support for veterans and their families.
- 37:00Dayna Roselli: So I'm interested to learn more.
- 37:02Dayna Roselli: Um, this one of the co-founders is Frank Fritita.
- 37:06Dayna Roselli: And, you know, uh Frank and the Frititas obviously own station casinos all around town.
- 37:11Dayna Roselli: So I'm excited to go over there and see what that's all about.
- 37:14Dayna Roselli: Um, we're gonna be interviewing Sammy Hagar coming up soon as he kicks off Sammy's Island at the Palms.
- 37:20Dayna Roselli: We're going over to Lindo Michican at Palace Station, another station property.
- 37:24Sean McAllister: Another station property, yeah.
- 37:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, which is a Mexican restaurant that has been so popular here in Las Vegas for years.
- 37:30Sean McAllister: And this is a locals' favorite.
- 37:31Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 37:32Sean McAllister: And it is now just steps from the strip, right there off of Sahara.
- 37:37Sean McAllister: So you're gonna want to hear this when when we share it with you here on the podcast.
- 37:42Dayna Roselli: Right, because we're going over to do an interview for that too.
- 37:44Dayna Roselli: We'll be interviewing Terry Fader coming up.
- 37:47Dayna Roselli: He's moving over to the Strat from New York, New York.
- 37:49Dayna Roselli: So lots of good stuff coming your way as usual.
- 37:52Dayna Roselli: We've been getting so much content because we're doing the TV show now, and uh, we also have the supporters of the audio podcast that uh subscribe and and donate to us every month.
