48 00:02:30,000 --> 00:02:32,000 And I guess what is that time frame? 49 00:02:32,000 --> 00:02:33,000 What are we looking at? 50 00:02:33,000 --> 00:02:36,000 We look at the last three years, five years, the entire duration of the show, 51 00:02:36,000 --> 00:02:38,000 my life, what are we thinking about? 52 00:02:38,000 --> 00:02:40,000 I mean, we'll just keep it simple. 53 00:02:40,000 --> 00:02:43,000 I mean, I'm sure there are times when you were younger, 54 00:02:43,000 --> 00:02:49,000 that you were even more excited just because you're just a kid and you're just excited, 55 00:02:49,000 --> 00:02:54,000 amped up for the Gold Dust, Roddy Piper, Backlaw Brawl. 56 00:02:54,000 --> 00:02:57,000 I don't know what it was for you, but I mean, there are times, 57 00:02:57,000 --> 00:02:59,000 let's just do it over the last, 58 00:02:59,000 --> 00:03:03,000 so this is like one-hutter's third WrestleMania, 59 00:03:03,000 --> 00:03:05,000 puts together fifth, fourth? 60 00:03:05,000 --> 00:03:06,000 This is, 61 00:03:06,000 --> 00:03:12,000 39 would have been the first one, 39, 40, 41, so this will be his third. 62 00:03:12,000 --> 00:03:15,000 Okay, so do you want to, in the last five years? 63 00:03:15,000 --> 00:03:18,000 In the last five years, where does this go for being excited? 64 00:03:18,000 --> 00:03:21,000 That would be 37, right? 65 00:03:21,000 --> 00:03:24,000 37, 38, 39, 40? 66 00:03:24,000 --> 00:03:26,000 Are we counting the pandemic one? 67 00:03:26,000 --> 00:03:30,000 Yeah, well, was that 1020, 1020, we're saying? 68 00:03:30,000 --> 00:03:32,000 Yeah, was pandemic 37? 69 00:03:32,000 --> 00:03:35,000 That was 36, 37 was the return fans for the first time. 70 00:03:35,000 --> 00:03:39,000 So yeah, let's go, let's go from the return, like post-pandemic era. 71 00:03:39,000 --> 00:03:44,000 All right, I try to make this quick here, so 36, I was excited just because of like, 72 00:03:44,000 --> 00:03:47,000 how they got to do this in an empty warehouse room, 73 00:03:47,000 --> 00:03:49,000 and there was nothing else to watch, so I was excited for that. 74 00:03:49,000 --> 00:03:52,000 37, the fans were back, I was excited for that. 75 00:03:52,000 --> 00:03:58,000 38, I think I will compare it to how I feel about 41, 76 00:03:58,000 --> 00:04:03,000 and a lot of that was riding on the Stone Cold Steve Austin stuff 77 00:04:03,000 --> 00:04:05,000 because we really didn't know, which is funny, 78 00:04:05,000 --> 00:04:07,000 because Kevin Owens did an interview recently. 79 00:04:07,000 --> 00:04:11,000 I think it was with Chris Van Vellette, and he actually said they did not know 80 00:04:11,000 --> 00:04:15,000 what they were going to be doing until the morning of Russ, 81 00:04:15,000 --> 00:04:18,000 RussiMany38, which makes its sense now, because, yeah, 82 00:04:18,000 --> 00:04:21,000 because of everything that we saw. 83 00:04:21,000 --> 00:04:26,000 39, I was excited, 40, I was excited, 84 00:04:26,000 --> 00:04:31,000 41, 2B announced, so I would say, 85 00:04:31,000 --> 00:04:35,000 if I had, I would compare my excitement level to RussiMany38 86 00:04:35,000 --> 00:04:39,000 because I've gone through the card, I looked at the builds, 87 00:04:39,000 --> 00:04:43,000 and I got to say, 40 is definitely the one that I was most excited for 88 00:04:43,000 --> 00:04:49,000 in the last race of times, that I wouldn't be shocked if we sit here next week 89 00:04:49,000 --> 00:04:52,000 and I go, that was a really good RussiManyap, but going into this, 90 00:04:52,000 --> 00:04:58,000 the build has been a B-, maybe a B, if I'm driving it, 91 00:04:58,000 --> 00:05:00,000 given it a letter grade, is that fair? 92 00:05:00,000 --> 00:05:04,000 I don't want to use the word mediocre, but it's been okay, 93 00:05:04,000 --> 00:05:09,000 but it's not been as exciting as it was say last year 94 00:05:09,000 --> 00:05:14,000 when they had the build with Rock, Raines, Rollins, Cody, etc. 95 00:05:14,000 --> 00:05:18,000 Yeah, that's about right, and maybe because, like, 96 00:05:18,000 --> 00:05:22,000 you know, like last year you had Rock and Roman and Cody and Seth, 97 00:05:22,000 --> 00:05:27,000 and then you had them on Tune, you had both Cody and Roman and Seth 98 00:05:27,000 --> 00:05:30,000 working two nights, which was kind of cool. 99 00:05:30,000 --> 00:05:35,000 And then 40, you had, I'm assuming 39, you had Cody, 100 00:05:35,000 --> 00:05:39,000 Cody got to finish the story, you know, in the 38 he had Austin. 101 00:05:39,000 --> 00:05:46,000 So to me, maybe it's the lack of hydrama, I guess, 102 00:05:46,000 --> 00:05:49,000 like, I just don't feel like, I don't know, I guess, 103 00:05:49,000 --> 00:05:53,000 I mean, there still is some, like, I don't know who's going to win some of these matches, 104 00:05:53,000 --> 00:05:58,000 but there's not the pending shock value, 105 00:05:58,000 --> 00:06:00,000 like, what is going to happen with Owen's and Austin? 106 00:06:00,000 --> 00:06:03,000 What's going to happen with Rock being of all? 107 00:06:03,000 --> 00:06:06,000 Are they going to have Cody finish the story and, like, 108 00:06:06,000 --> 00:06:09,000 there's none of those really, like, it's a little bit with the scene of stuff, 109 00:06:09,000 --> 00:06:12,000 but really the rest of the car is just, yeah, like, I'm with you. 110 00:06:12,000 --> 00:06:16,000 It's like a B minus to, like, a, you know, a B build. 111 00:06:16,000 --> 00:06:22,000 I don't know if I have the, this might be the least excited I've been since 37, maybe? 112 00:06:22,000 --> 00:06:26,000 Yeah, I think that's a fair estimation, I would say, is that, 113 00:06:26,000 --> 00:06:30,000 like, 37, I was excited because the crowd was back. 114 00:06:30,000 --> 00:06:35,000 Okay, the car itself, I was like, eh, it seems okay. 115 00:06:35,000 --> 00:06:37,000 That's where I'm kind of that with us now. 116 00:06:37,000 --> 00:06:39,000 I'm like, there's a couple things I'm super excited about, 117 00:06:39,000 --> 00:06:43,000 but then the rest of them is like, it should be fine. 118 00:06:43,000 --> 00:06:46,000 Do we consider the tri- 119 00:06:46,000 --> 00:06:49,000 do we consider the WrestleMania trilogy? 120 00:06:49,000 --> 00:06:55,000 Do we consider 38, 39, 40 on the same wave like that is 17, 18, 19 right now? 121 00:06:55,000 --> 00:06:57,000 We've talked about this before. 122 00:06:57,000 --> 00:07:01,000 We really liked 38, really liked 39, really liked 40. 123 00:07:01,000 --> 00:07:06,000 Do we consider that to be a trilogy in WrestleMania or is it 39 and 40? 124 00:07:06,000 --> 00:07:08,000 And we're waiting to see where 41 is right now. 125 00:07:08,000 --> 00:07:10,000 Where do we stay on that? 126 00:07:10,000 --> 00:07:19,000 I think you kind of, I think almost by default of the Cody bloodline storyline, 127 00:07:19,000 --> 00:07:21,000 you almost have to group 39, 40 and 41. 128 00:07:21,000 --> 00:07:30,000 Even though Cody's wrestling Cena, you still have the rock as the tie-in factor from 40 to 41. 129 00:07:30,000 --> 00:07:37,000 So, the way I used to do was just like, which three in a row did I like the best? 130 00:07:37,000 --> 00:07:48,000 So, yeah, like, the trilogy you spoke of, I loved 25, 26 and 27 also because Sean's last two matches and then the triple-H Undertaker match. 131 00:07:48,000 --> 00:07:51,000 So, those are high on my list also. 132 00:07:51,000 --> 00:07:53,000 I hate 27. 133 00:07:53,000 --> 00:08:00,000 That was the one in Atlanta where the rock was a host and it was Miz and Cena. 134 00:08:00,000 --> 00:08:03,000 Well, it was 24 Orden in Triple H. 135 00:08:03,000 --> 00:08:05,000 24 was... 136 00:08:05,000 --> 00:08:06,000 Or is that Orden Undertaker? 137 00:08:06,000 --> 00:08:10,000 No, Orden Triple H was 25 and I was not a fan of 25. 138 00:08:10,000 --> 00:08:12,000 Undertaker, Sean Michaels saved that mania. 139 00:08:12,000 --> 00:08:13,000 Yeah. 140 00:08:13,000 --> 00:08:16,000 That was a very, that was, they had to go on after that. 141 00:08:16,000 --> 00:08:18,000 Orden, I think it was it. 142 00:08:18,000 --> 00:08:21,000 Was it Orden Big Show Angle? 143 00:08:21,000 --> 00:08:23,000 And that was the one with the edge and Undertaker. 144 00:08:23,000 --> 00:08:26,000 It was Rick Flair's last one, WrestleMania 24. 145 00:08:26,000 --> 00:08:29,000 Can I tell you a funny story about 27 real quick? 146 00:08:29,000 --> 00:08:30,000 Sure. 147 00:08:30,000 --> 00:08:31,000 Yeah. 148 00:08:31,000 --> 00:08:38,000 So, I was really good friends for a period of time and I haven't spoken to him in a long time now. 149 00:08:38,000 --> 00:08:44,000 But when I was working in radio, I was good friends with Josh Matthews who was with TNA and I guess has recently ended up back in AEW. 150 00:08:44,000 --> 00:08:46,000 Josh is a great guy who just lost contact. 151 00:08:46,000 --> 00:08:48,000 There's no like falling out or anything like that. 152 00:08:48,000 --> 00:08:53,000 People get older, stuff like that and I remember hanging out with him on his birthday with his, 153 00:08:53,000 --> 00:08:56,000 him and his girlfriend before he got married to Madison Rain. 154 00:08:56,000 --> 00:09:02,000 But I remember sitting down and telling him we were like shooting the shit about wrestling and this was like, 155 00:09:02,000 --> 00:09:04,000 a couple of weeks after he was fired by WWE. 156 00:09:04,000 --> 00:09:10,000 And we were talking and I said to him and it was the WrestleMania that he commented. 157 00:09:10,000 --> 00:09:14,000 I was like, listen, I gotta tell you man, I hated WrestleMania 27. 158 00:09:14,000 --> 00:09:17,000 And that was the one where it was like a career achievement for him. 159 00:09:17,000 --> 00:09:24,000 And I could just tell him his face like, that was like a career achievement for me and you hated that WrestleMania. 160 00:09:24,000 --> 00:09:33,000 But yeah, I told him to this face that the WrestleMania that you were, because Michael Colingieri and Lawler wrestled that one. 161 00:09:33,000 --> 00:09:34,000 Oh yeah. 162 00:09:34,000 --> 00:09:35,000 Yeah. 163 00:09:35,000 --> 00:09:40,000 And I was like, and then he got stunned by Steve Austin. I was like, well that was a career achievement. 164 00:09:40,000 --> 00:09:42,000 Wow. Yeah. 165 00:09:42,000 --> 00:09:49,000 Like I, it's, yeah, like we, going off, like I think for me like because Sean is my favorite wrestler of all time, 166 00:09:49,000 --> 00:09:57,000 that those matches 24, 25, and 26 because, you know, yeah, the Sean Flair match was still iconic. 167 00:09:57,000 --> 00:10:00,000 And then, both taker, Sean matches were great. 168 00:10:00,000 --> 00:10:05,000 And then, like, that's still the emotion, like, and that's one thing I kind of look at. 169 00:10:05,000 --> 00:10:09,000 Like, you and I talked, you know, about, you know, one of our premier shows we might do a special, 170 00:10:09,000 --> 00:10:10,000 favorite WrestleMania cards. 171 00:10:10,000 --> 00:10:16,000 And for me, I just, I kind of go off like the emotion I remember from watching the show. 172 00:10:16,000 --> 00:10:23,000 And in 24, 25, and 26, rank really high for me because those are the last three of Sean Michaels. 173 00:10:23,000 --> 00:10:29,000 So, but you know, it was just a 17, 18, 19, that's your triumvirate? 174 00:10:29,000 --> 00:10:34,000 Yeah, I think that's the best ones. That was like my, that was the attitude error. 175 00:10:34,000 --> 00:10:38,000 I would even say WrestleMania 2000, WrestleMania 16 was really good. 176 00:10:38,000 --> 00:10:40,000 WrestleMania 15 was really good. 177 00:10:40,000 --> 00:10:49,000 14 was the catapult of Austin 316, but I think when you look at trilogies of WrestleMania 17, 18, 19, I think are the best. 178 00:10:49,000 --> 00:10:53,000 Yeah. I mean, 38, 39 is 40. 179 00:10:53,000 --> 00:11:01,000 If you group those three together, those are pretty good. It's up there with 17, 18, 19. 180 00:11:01,000 --> 00:11:04,000 But yeah, I just think right now, I don't know what it is. 181 00:11:04,000 --> 00:11:11,000 And this Jeff, it could very well be that life, everything else going on in the real world, 182 00:11:11,000 --> 00:11:15,000 kind of has dampened my mood for WrestleMania. Maybe this year, I don't know what it is. 183 00:11:15,000 --> 00:11:19,000 I mean, on paper, the card looks pretty damn good. 184 00:11:19,000 --> 00:11:27,000 And maybe it's the lack of some great, maybe the undercar, hasn't been built up as strong as maybe a couple years past, or what it is. 185 00:11:27,000 --> 00:11:35,000 Or maybe for me, the Cody Cena stuff just has lacked a little bit of physicality that I wanted leading into this. 186 00:11:35,000 --> 00:11:43,000 I just feel like last year, I mean Cody got his ass whooped literally almost every week letting into WrestleMania. 187 00:11:43,000 --> 00:11:49,000 So you wanted to see him get his revenge. Even the year before, there was some really good physicality, 188 00:11:49,000 --> 00:12:03,000 a little bit between Roman and Cody heading into that one. It's like, I just feel like for your main event to only have one physical moment between Cody and Cena is a missed opportunity. 189 00:12:03,000 --> 00:12:09,000 Just for conversations, say here, we were talking about WrestleMania 24, Orton, his match. 190 00:12:09,000 --> 00:12:19,000 It was Orton Triple H and Cena was a triple threat. >> Yeah, that is, I honestly do not remember that match at all. That's how bad it was. 191 00:12:19,000 --> 00:12:31,000 >> We've been through a lot of WrestleMania. I think that WrestleMania 41 going back to the original conversation here is in the shadows of some really good manias that took place. 192 00:12:31,000 --> 00:12:45,000 And a build last year that is maybe one of my favorite WrestleMania builds of all time. From when they do that, kick off show in Las Vegas last year with Rock, Slapping Cody, and Rollins getting involved. 193 00:12:45,000 --> 00:12:59,000 And all that stuff that really catapulted it. That was a very unique time where WWE was going to go one way pivoted and pivoted in a way that was so much better than we expected. 194 00:12:59,000 --> 00:13:09,000 And had a really, really good solid WrestleMania overall. And again, I just think it's in the shadows of 38, 39, 40. 195 00:13:09,000 --> 00:13:13,000 And I think there's a possibility that a week from now we look back at this and go, well, that was still a really good Romania. 196 00:13:13,000 --> 00:13:28,000 We put it in there with the same discussion overall. But I think as we go through this card here, Dr. Trey, when you really look at it and you really look at things, I hate to say this, but I feel like this could be. 197 00:13:28,000 --> 00:13:40,000 Like the table setter for the next three great WrestleMania's because there's a lot of people on this card that were not on the WrestleMania card a year ago. 198 00:13:40,000 --> 00:13:53,000 Or they're in a position against a semi established star or an established star that two years from now, they could both be established stars and be at the top of their game. 199 00:13:53,000 --> 00:14:07,000 So I feel like this one maybe like the theme is this is the first step to something special because when you look at Jacob Fattu making this WrestleMania debut Tiffany Stratt and making her WrestleMania debut, 200 00:14:07,000 --> 00:14:16,000 LA Knight get an opportunity in a bigger spot. Live Revalcuria get an opportunity, Braun Breaker get an opportunity. 201 00:14:16,000 --> 00:14:28,000 Yeah, it's Drew and Damian now two years from now, it could be like remember those two guys were in a sensitivity street fight and now here we are two years later and they're champions on opposite sides. 202 00:14:28,000 --> 00:14:35,000 Like I think this could be a table setter WrestleMania for lack of better terms. 203 00:14:35,000 --> 00:14:45,000 Yeah, I thought about that too because it's almost I don't want to say it's a changing of the Garber we've had such an influx of talent in the last 18 months. 204 00:14:45,000 --> 00:14:51,000 You mentioned those I mean this is really Jay like Jay Cardinals is her first singles match in WrestleMania. 205 00:14:51,000 --> 00:14:56,000 You look at Penta being on the show this year. 206 00:14:56,000 --> 00:15:09,000 They literally had a cram three of their biggest stars into one match just to get them you know kind of in a featured spotlight because they've had so much influx coming in that they had to make room for stuff. 207 00:15:09,000 --> 00:15:23,000 So yeah, this I guess there's always ebbs and flows and honestly this is the only thing I thought about like sometimes our favorite paper views of the year are the ones that we have lowered expectations for and they just kind of beat our expectations. 208 00:15:23,000 --> 00:15:40,000 But there is going to be a changing of the garthons like you see like AJ Logan Paul AJ's a little bit older now like with even punk and Roman how many more WrestleMania are they going to be a part of you know in featured roles and not just trying to help somebody else move up the ladder like there's a lot of these. 209 00:15:40,000 --> 00:15:52,000 It's like the young guard in the old guard. I mean it's not millionaires club new breed or new blood but it is kind of like a changing of the guard once again this is seen as last WrestleMania. 210 00:15:52,000 --> 00:16:09,000 We're hoping we find out what they're doing with the order you know we're recording the show before Smackdown where does or didn't fit into all this like there's a lot of questions out there about this card and then what the cars will look like next year but like you mentioned like Drew and Damien that could be a main event match down the road. 211 00:16:09,000 --> 00:16:22,000 And then we're on break or Jacob thought to those guys can be made of vendors within two three years I mean there's a lot of talent ready to take the next step they're just waiting to kind of move people out of the way so they can send the ladder. 212 00:16:22,000 --> 00:16:38,000 I think that's a theme for this one I think that's the one I'm going to rest my hat on this is like a table setter because a year from now to your somehow some of these folks that are in lower card positions or in a match that where they could potentially break out against established are they could be major players in a year from now to your somehow. 213 00:16:38,000 --> 00:16:48,000 So let's get into a restaurant 41 preview and predictions this Saturday and Sunday from a Legion Stadium in Las Vegas Nevada let's get to night one here doctor. 214 00:16:48,000 --> 00:16:53,000 Try you've got the war Raiders defending the world tag team championship against the new day. 215 00:16:53,000 --> 00:17:07,000 I have the war Raiders in this one and I am absolutely shocked that this matches made the card if you told me there was going to be a tag team title match I think anybody that's been listening to this podcast the last two months would tell you that of all people. 216 00:17:07,000 --> 00:17:35,000 I've been arrested my hat on that Smackdown tag team division that Smackdown tag team division that Smackdown tag team division and here we are and the raw tag teams are on but the Smackdown tag teams aren't makes no sense to me other than that's what feeds my prediction I think the war I think this matches on the restaurant in a card because something big happens and when I mean something big happens I think big he gets involved and helps the war Raiders so I've got the war Raiders retaining. 217 00:17:35,000 --> 00:17:45,000 That just completely changed my pick because I was I've been leaning new day all along they have so much heat on them. 218 00:17:45,000 --> 00:17:58,000 I mean they still get boot out of almost every building there and the last thing we really saw was them getting the upper hand on the war Raiders and that's usually our go to is whoever has the upper hand on the show like the last appearance heading into 219 00:17:58,000 --> 00:18:12,000 the other team gets the win so you got me to change my pick Jeff I'm going to take the war Raiders because of the hell from big E I don't think he'll get physically involved by do you think he'll be a distraction that causes the new day to lose the match in the war Raiders retain. 220 00:18:12,000 --> 00:18:23,000 It's the only reason why I can figure out why this matches on the card no disrespect to either one of these teams because I love them it's just like the build and the feud and everything else has not been there heading the rest of 221 00:18:23,000 --> 00:18:37,000 the match. It's like this is the tag team title match they went with comparable to what we've seen on both shows Ron's Mac down over the last two months so I just feel like something big is going on and I would think we will see the one and only big he involved next match here. 222 00:18:37,000 --> 00:18:45,000 Dr. Trey is Ray Mysterio taking on El Grande Americano AKA Chad Gable. Dr. Trey who do you like in this one? 223 00:18:45,000 --> 00:19:05,000 Oh man this one's really hard for me because I really I mean look I think people know I love Chad Gable I think he's fantastic I think he's the modern day Kurt Angle but I can see him losing just because you know the mask like Ray could easily go for the 224 00:19:05,000 --> 00:19:20,000 corner mask cause Gable get distracted Ray gets the win so I'm going to take Ray getting the win plus Vegas isn't too far from L.A. which isn't that far from San Diego is almost like a home town match for Ray so I'll take Ray getting the victory. 225 00:19:20,000 --> 00:19:32,000 I'm going to take Ray Mysterio as well Ray needs a big WrestleMania win here so I am giving Ray Mysterio the victory I hope the El Grande Americano storyline comes to an end at WrestleMania I think the 226 00:19:32,000 --> 00:19:48,000 mass coming off at the hands of very Mysterio is something that would be that WrestleMania moment that people will go back and take a look at online on YouTube whatever so I I hope the El Grande Americano storyline is short lived because it reminds me of old days of W. 227 00:19:48,000 --> 00:20:12,000 and I hope it also comes with a very Mysterio victory so both Dr. Trey and I taking Ray Mysterio in this one the next match is Jade Cargill taken on Naomi I'm going to pick Jade Cargill in this one because I think the long term for her is what's more important I went back and forth here but I felt more 75 25 and picking Jade Cargill than I would Naomi I'm digging the change in the Naomi 228 00:20:12,000 --> 00:20:41,000 character I think by the end of 2025 Naomi has a women's world title run on her belt and I think this character captures fans attention a lot more this is a heal turn that is needed or reminds me of what they did with Liv Morgan last year so I think Naomi could be on a similar path where she gets some popularity behind her people are digging the character she gets some creative juices flowing she's been doing that glow thing now for almost God what feels like 10 years plus so now she could do a different thing with her character but I don't think it's going to be a lot more fun. 229 00:20:41,000 --> 00:20:56,000 But I don't think it comes at the hands of Jade Cargill taken an L at WrestleMania so I think WWE is big plans for Jade Cargill they don't do a face to face foreshadowing moment between her and Charlotte Flare on Smackdown a couple weeks ago for no reason so I am taking Jade Dr. Trey. 230 00:20:56,000 --> 00:21:10,000 Yeah I'm taking Jade as well just because I think the upside in Jade is higher than Naomi I do like the Naomi change although I will say the catchphrase of proceed with caution not great but I do like they they've changed it up a little bit. 231 00:21:10,000 --> 00:21:39,000 You know for me also like if this match was on night two and the Bianca match was on night one I might change that pick a little bit but because it's on night one I'm going to take Jade getting the win like you said they don't force out of her in Charlotte for no reason and she's with us people that you can build you know your women's vision around maybe not in ringwise yet but character wise look wise you can push the way you want to do it. 232 00:21:39,000 --> 00:21:45,000 You can put her on all the advertisements in all the movies and she's a star so I'm taking Jade as well. 233 00:21:45,000 --> 00:21:51,000 Next matchers LA night defend the United States Championship against Jacob Fattu Dr. Trey who do you like in this one? 234 00:21:51,000 --> 00:21:57,000 Man the easy pick for me is Jacob but then I still factor in what this what are we doing with solo. 235 00:21:57,000 --> 00:22:08,000 So unless we're going to get you know Jacob and solo fighting after media but I'm still going to lean Jacob Fattu take him he's you're kind of break out star. 236 00:22:08,000 --> 00:22:17,000 And then plus depending on the situation with the world championship if you get a heel world champion of Smackdown you need baby face 237 00:22:17,000 --> 00:22:23,000 challengers so taking the belt off LA night and potentially getting an LA night Johnson a match up down the line makes sense too. 238 00:22:23,000 --> 00:22:27,000 So I'll take Jacob Fattu getting the win and becoming a US champion. 239 00:22:27,000 --> 00:22:35,000 I like you Dr. Trey I'm taking Jacob Fattu in this one similar mindset when I go through my pick of Jade car go in the match previously that we covered. 240 00:22:35,000 --> 00:22:40,000 I think the long term here for Jacob Fattu is a big deal to WWE. 241 00:22:40,000 --> 00:22:45,000 This is a guy who is could really come out of WrestleMania with the fans behind him. 242 00:22:45,000 --> 00:22:47,000 I think he could be a merchandise mover. 243 00:22:47,000 --> 00:23:03,000 I think even though he's working as a heel he's a little more of a tweener the expectation here at some point is that's solo and Tom a turn on Jacob Fattu and help him continue to grow as a super baby face in WWE which is kind of surprising because I would have figured eight months ago this guy is going to be a monster heel. 244 00:23:03,000 --> 00:23:15,000 But here we are people are behind them are chanting Fattu it makes a sense run with it so I think coming out here it becomes United States champion then starts feeding with solosiko who is jealous of the success of Jacob Fattu. 245 00:23:15,000 --> 00:23:21,000 So I like Dr. Trey I'm taking Jacob Fattu to win United States championship. 246 00:23:21,000 --> 00:23:26,000 The next match here is Tiffany Stratt defending the WWE women's championship against Charlotte Flair. 247 00:23:26,000 --> 00:23:47,000 This bill has been great over the last two to three weeks there's been the wasn't real wasn't not discussion that's been online some reports are saying that they went off script some reports are saying they exactly hit the points that they needed to nonetheless it felt real it felt intense it felt awkward it felt uncomfortable and that's what helps make a really good build is when it feels real. 248 00:23:47,000 --> 00:24:12,000 Because I think it was real I think that they don't like each other I think Charlotte was testing Tiffany Tiffany fell down a little bit that vignette we pointed out here like she steamrolled Tiffany in that one and then she got her come up in in that next segment when they ran the ring face face one other and Charlotte looked like Tiffany was doing circles around her so I like the build overall because of that weird awkwardness and strain that's what makes good wrestling. 249 00:24:12,000 --> 00:24:35,000 This is an interesting one because do you put the title on Charlotte again and have her defeated up and coming star I'm going to go with Tiffany in this one I don't think they do that I think this is an opportunity to help build Tiffany up this is a situation like it was years ago where Charlotte defeated real Flair when real Flair real Ripley when she was the NXT women's champion. 250 00:24:35,000 --> 00:24:50,000 This is more like WrestleMania 39 when real was coming in there a little bit red hot defeat Charlotte Flair becomes women's champion and she's off to the races this is a victory that Tiffany Stratton needs so I am taking Tiffany Stratton to retain in this one doctor try. 251 00:24:50,000 --> 00:25:07,000 This one action has been one of my harder ones to pick because the old school mentality would be you push somebody new and then you push them down to see if they can handle the adversity can they rise back up the ranks. 252 00:25:07,000 --> 00:25:32,000 Part of me also just because I think I'm going to take Charlotte because I think based on some of my other picks it's a Flair getting a record breaking championship allows Tiffany to kind of rebuild the not that she needs it but to reestablish of has just a super or baby face and put the baby face on the chase plus you have the Jade factor in it as well. 253 00:25:32,000 --> 00:25:57,000 I think I'm going to take Charlotte with capturing the title just in plus I got to pick something different every so often from you we have been on every agreed on every match so far I'll take Charlotte getting the victory at WrestleMania sure they go I've got Tiffany Dr. Tray Charlotte next match here is Gunther defending the world every way championship against Royal Rumble winner Jay Uso Dr. Trey who do you like in this one. 254 00:25:57,000 --> 00:26:09,000 This one also is tricky because I really really want to pick Jay Uso I do and I and I that's I'm talking some of my pick him is on my head I'm kind of think is out loud. 255 00:26:09,000 --> 00:26:22,000 You can't have Jay lose the Gunther this many times in a row and this would be like his third chance at the world championship he only had the inner connell championship for a week. 256 00:26:22,000 --> 00:26:46,000 If you actually want him to be a break out star he has to win so yeah as much as I want to pick Gunther because that's who I think is best for business as the heel champion I think I'm going to take Jay getting the win in Gunther loses a championship after a long run again at WrestleMania because Jay Uso will come out of here being the world heavyweight champion. 257 00:26:46,000 --> 00:26:58,000 Props to WWE creative on this one again the last couple weeks in this field have been fantastic and it was kind of just moving along not making a lot of waves wasn't really grabbing my attention. 258 00:26:58,000 --> 00:27:08,000 Did I have a lot of feeling to it but they've done some stuff the last couple weeks that was like this is some intensity this is some stuff yeah he's down oh three against Gunther he takes out Jimmy do so. 259 00:27:08,000 --> 00:27:27,000 Jay cuts out promo that I'm I'm I'm going to be afraid of the man about to become Gunther's mood changes they come out on raw guns ablaze and I love that Jay Uso was coming down to the ring he is not eating he is all in all black from sunglasses to the clothes that he's wearing. 260 00:27:27,000 --> 00:27:49,000 I love that it's just the little things that I'm really digging because if he came out was doing the eat different colors you to cross sunglasses after he said what he said when happened Jimmy would be like not really feel this so I like that they've turned that up with the character because you know what when Jay Uso wins a world heavyweight championship which is my pick in this match as well that's when he go back out to the crown and do the eat stuff so 261 00:27:49,000 --> 00:28:18,000 grid build this has been great and I can't wait to celebrate with Jay Uso on Saturday night as I hope that he wins the world of the way championship both so both Dr. Trey and I picking Jay Uso in this one and that takes us to our main event match for night one of WrestleMania which is wild because we just went through multiple title matches and this is a match with no title just egos just name brands and just one hall of fame manager sitting in someone's corner that is doing that and that is the triple threat match between rumble 262 00:28:18,000 --> 00:28:46,000 and rain Seth freaking wrongs and C. M. punk this feud this build has been great throughout and we've talked about it was like how they got to make this work you've got three baby faces the crowds behind them and even though the crowd is cheering for each person equally or in different wavelengths or they're staying in the kind of the same course it's like the pie chart across the entire board is is there loving everybody in thirds 263 00:28:46,000 --> 00:29:14,000 this one that thrown up the ones for Roman reigns when he comes to the ring there's singing C. M. punk song when he comes to the ring and they're hitting Seth wrong song when he comes to the ring as well so I think it's a big fun one and I'm excited for this is it's just a match where again it's just egos and who's the best man through it all so very fun build this is a tough match to call Dr. Trey but when I look at how each individual has been perceived here 264 00:29:14,000 --> 00:29:34,000 rains punk Rollins has been over shadow in my opinion I think WWE creative throws him a bone and a thank you for everything that he did a year ago it helps him get the victory over Roman reigns and C. M. punk at WrestleMania 41 he did not defeat C. M. punk clean in Mass at Square Garden on Raw back in early March in the cage match 265 00:29:34,000 --> 00:29:49,000 let's give him the victory here at WrestleMania so I'm going to go with Seth freaking for allons to win the triple threat match and pardon me wants to say Paul Heyman turns I don't know if I could fully get behind that yet but I'm going to go with Seth freaking Rollins 266 00:29:49,000 --> 00:29:58,000 yeah this one really is kind of a toss up I mean I can make a case for every single person winning this match 267 00:29:58,000 --> 00:30:10,000 that being said I think I'm going to punk I mean they're throwing punk into the main event match to kind of fulfill his his wish you know the one thing on his bucket list but I also think he needs a win 268 00:30:10,000 --> 00:30:26,000 plus this could push Rollins over the edge and making a full blown heel again so I think I'm going to take punk getting the win by pinning Rollins in this match so that's I mean it's this one is really tricky so yeah I guess I'm going to lean towards punk in this one 269 00:30:26,000 --> 00:30:36,000 all right let me ask you because we just got through night one we talked about the beginning of the show are we excited about WrestleMania as we went through night one did your juices go up because minded 270 00:30:36,000 --> 00:30:43,000 a little bit yeah I think the last two matches I think the last two matches the Gunther J things interesting because I really 271 00:30:43,000 --> 00:30:51,000 and it's this the last two matches we talked about Jane Gunther triple threat match I literally have no idea where they're going with these 272 00:30:51,000 --> 00:30:58,600 everything else you and I basically agreed on the Charlottes in Tiffany in that match I know you're more into that match than I am like I really almost I don't 273 00:30:58,600 --> 00:31:11,000 think I can care less but yeah I'm not a huge fan of either person so if that might be my bathroom break match and I say it because people think it says I just I really don't care about 274 00:31:11,000 --> 00:31:21,000 Charlotte Tiffany all that much so once you those last two matches I'm intrigued because I have no idea what they're going to do so that amp me up a little bit 275 00:31:21,000 --> 00:31:29,000 and I fully expect the first couple I think LA night Jacobs going to be a great match I think the tag match if big he does get involved will be really great 276 00:31:29,000 --> 00:31:36,000 so you know and then whatever they do with Gabel and Monsieur will be good but yeah the last two matches because I have no idea where they're going with it 277 00:31:36,000 --> 00:31:43,000 that's kind of got my juices flowing a little bit all right let's get tonight to hear you've got live Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defending the WWE women's 278 00:31:43,000 --> 00:32:00,000 tag team chip against a Lyra Valkyrie in Bailey who won the gauntlet match on Smackdown Dr. Trey who do you like in this one I'm taking live in Raquel I don't see it be I don't see you Lyra two belts coming out of this I think this is also 279 00:32:00,000 --> 00:32:09,000 a Livs reward for such a great year that she had not being in the women's title picture right now so how much I live in Raquel getting the win 280 00:32:09,000 --> 00:32:21,000 Hey WrestleMania yeah I like you I'm taking live Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in this one I think my only thing that I'm upset about is I wish this match got more build for it 281 00:32:21,000 --> 00:32:34,000 I think the Lyra Bailey riff like their title match could happen let's say like mid March and that's where they could have built up a little bit more of the tag team where Bailey like was kind of quasi upset that Lyra got the victory 282 00:32:34,000 --> 00:32:44,000 but are they going to tag together they got to trust one another does she still want the entire title I felt like this deserved a little bit more build so I'm going to take live Morgan 283 00:32:44,000 --> 00:32:53,000 Paul to retain as well next match here is AJ Styles taking on Logan Paul and I think this is the match that shocks us from WrestleMania Dr. 284 00:32:53,000 --> 00:33:00,000 Trey doesn't shock us that like AJ Styles puts on a performance but that Logan Paul can hang with them Logan Paul's an athlete whether you like him dislike him 285 00:33:00,000 --> 00:33:10,000 whatever you got to give your you got to tip your hat to the kid so I think this is really going to test so how well of a professional wrestler is Logan Paul really I think AJ 286 00:33:10,000 --> 00:33:20,000 style kind of brings them to the next level and I'm stoked that AJ's on the card I'm happy that it's healthy because I've missed seeing AJ Styles it felt like it's been a really long time since AJ 287 00:33:20,000 --> 00:33:27,000 Styles is at a really good prominent role at WrestleMania so I am taking AJ style sick at the victory Dr. Trey but I think Logan Paul really impresses us 288 00:33:27,000 --> 00:33:40,000 that's impressive I love this match because hey you're right like this is Logan Paul Logan Paul's chance to really shine on a WrestleMania stage AJ can work with a broomstick 289 00:33:40,000 --> 00:33:46,000 I think we all know that AJ can put on a good match with anybody and we're good with that he did that with Shane McMahon 290 00:33:46,000 --> 00:34:03,000 Shane McMahon I was about to make the joke that everybody's favorite like just favorite broomstick Shane McMahon as an example I am also kind of projecting where the booking goes if you if if I pick J to be the world champion 291 00:34:03,000 --> 00:34:21,000 he needs a challenger and we saw the interactions when Rob move to Netflix about Logan Paul wanting the world championship so I am going to take Logan Paul mainly because of shock value and then potentially for that J Logan Paul matchup down the line as well 292 00:34:21,000 --> 00:34:39,000 so I'm going to take Logan Paul I think Logan needs to win AJ doesn't plus AJ can then back into the carrying cross stuff that we saw Monday night which I thought was really entertaining we can go that route with it if AJ loses he's now let everybody down like Carrying City who good so I'll take Logan Paul 293 00:34:39,000 --> 00:34:53,000 so you go I take AJ styles Dr. Trade takes Logan Paul and now let's get to the fatal four way WWE Intercontinental championship match as Braun Breaker defense against Finn Baller Dominic Mysterio and Penta Dr. Trey who do you like in this one? 294 00:34:53,000 --> 00:35:07,000 I like everybody they're all fantastic and I know this is like one of my favorite four way matches I've seen in quite a long time because I and the crazy thing is Jeff you go back four years ago I hated Dominic Mysterio on the show 295 00:35:07,000 --> 00:35:23,000 I bash him every chance I get and now he's still of the last couple years he's one of my favorite things to watch on TV so with that being said I'm taking Dom Dom to get the win I want to see Liv in the ring celebrate with Dom with both their championships raised high 296 00:35:23,000 --> 00:35:35,000 Finn kind of pounding in the corner Braun like I don't care I can go challenge Jay loose so because he won the world championship so I'm going with Dom Dom to get the win at WrestleMania 297 00:35:35,000 --> 00:35:50,000 Yeah I'm when you look when you look at this match it's like what storyline makes the most sense right now and it's like Braun Breaker retains that's good but you know I think Braun dropping the title and over the next couple months maybe taking a look at the money in the bank briefcase 298 00:35:50,000 --> 00:36:02,000 the money bank ladder match over the summer is something I could see him do Penta could stay involved in the Intercontinental championship picture I think the Finn Baller Dominic Mysterio storyline is intriguing and interesting 299 00:36:02,000 --> 00:36:13,000 Finn is taking these subtle and not so subtle shots at Dominic Mysterio he's going there very confident thinking that he's going to get the victory that Dom is going to help him retain and win the Intercontinental championship 300 00:36:13,000 --> 00:36:19,000 and I think that lends to a lot of entry post-Russellmania once Dominic Mysterio wins the Intercontinental championship 301 00:36:19,000 --> 00:36:33,000 so I am with you in this one I think Dom Nick Mysterio wins the Intercontinental championship and his story and his career you know we were talking earlier in the show like WrestleMania 36 was 2020 and that's when Dom made his debut 302 00:36:33,000 --> 00:36:44,000 and there was a period of time where Dom was not a good character at all and had no depth, no nothing and he has come a long way he is a great heal 303 00:36:44,000 --> 00:36:56,000 and dare I say I think he's starting to win the fans over a little bit inside Bart go to if you don't listen to it the raw recap show that Sam Roberts and Megan Moran do for WWE 304 00:36:56,000 --> 00:37:04,000 Dom was on this week he was freaking hilarious so go out of the way and check it out any stated character that was really good 305 00:37:04,000 --> 00:37:18,000 so I like you Dr. Tram taking Dom Nick Mysterio to win the Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 41 and that takes us to our next match here the Sin City Street Fight as Drew McIntyre takes on Damian Priest 306 00:37:18,000 --> 00:37:31,000 I am a big fan of both these guys I think Big Drew could use a victory here there's been a lot of rumblings that he is next in line to take on the WWE Champion which is currently Cody Rhodes 307 00:37:31,000 --> 00:37:41,000 but from what I saw on SmackDown this past week where Damian got his ass handed to him and a beat down from Drew McIntyre and that's how close we are to WrestleMania 308 00:37:41,000 --> 00:37:49,000 I can't imagine another segment takes place like this on Friday and if you listen to the show on Saturday morning and a segment dead we're Damian got the upper hand on Drew 309 00:37:49,000 --> 00:37:59,000 then I was wrong but with that said I'm going to take Damian Priest in this one because Drew made him look so weak and beaten down 310 00:37:59,000 --> 00:38:05,000 that Damian needs this victory at WrestleMania to recover his character a little bit so I'm taking Damian Priest out to try 311 00:38:05,000 --> 00:38:16,000 So I'm in the opposite camp I think Drew needs a big win he really hasn't had many big wins this year he's basically putting everybody over this year 312 00:38:16,000 --> 00:38:25,000 Damian cashed in on him at last WrestleMania so this is Drew's come up and I think Damian's super over the crowd 313 00:38:25,000 --> 00:38:36,000 and I think he'll have a good spot on SmackDown heading into WrestleMania so to look strong but I think it would have been a street fight, anything goes, crazy shenanigans can happen 314 00:38:36,000 --> 00:38:40,000 I'll give the edge to Drew McIntyre and I'll pick him to win at WrestleMania 315 00:38:40,000 --> 00:38:50,000 So there you go I've got Damian Priest, Dr. Tray, Drew McIntyre and that takes us to the triple threat match for the women's world championship as EO Sky defense against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley 316 00:38:50,000 --> 00:38:53,000 Dr. Tray, who do you like in this one? 317 00:38:53,000 --> 00:39:04,000 So you and I had a really good discussion two weeks ago about this and how I wasn't a fan of this match and then so heading into WrestleMania 318 00:39:04,000 --> 00:39:13,000 I'm still I brought me up a little bit like I'm a little more into this but that being said I'm gonna take EO Sky 319 00:39:13,000 --> 00:39:22,000 I think you don't put her in this position to go under like you're trying to elevate her to Rhea Bianca status 320 00:39:22,000 --> 00:39:32,000 So I'm gonna take EO getting the win which ends up turning Bianca heel which then allows her to real line with Naomi against Jade or use both of them against Rhea 321 00:39:32,000 --> 00:39:42,000 So I'm gonna take EO getting the win because I think there's more good storytelling with EO getting the win other than with Bianca or with Rhea getting the win 322 00:39:42,000 --> 00:39:57,000 Yeah I saw some people responding to our conversation on our Facebook page, facebook.com/dorealthoshoneregards to this match so thank you to those who had reached out and commented our boy EJ was out there showing some love and giving his commentaries always 323 00:39:57,000 --> 00:40:10,000 Yeah I'm all in on the EO Sky camp to win this match. She's been taking a back seat to Bianca low and Rhea and I think that those Egos get in the way and it helps EO Sky get elevated 324 00:40:10,000 --> 00:40:28,000 some more and gets the victory at WrestleMania just part of me is wants to pick Bianca Belair because I think that her undefeated streak at WrestleMania is a real thing but I thought when they did those vignettes where each person spoke throughout the episode of Raw 325 00:40:28,000 --> 00:40:40,000 I thought that Bianca said something interesting where she said I have never been pinned at WrestleMania and I was like that's that comes back later in the in some point here. 326 00:40:40,000 --> 00:40:52,000 So I'm gonna say EO Sky retains and wins the championship. Pins Rhea Ripley Bianca does not take the pin therefore Bianca always says I was never pinned at WrestleMania so both Dr. Trey and I take an EO Sky in this one 327 00:40:52,000 --> 00:41:07,000 and that takes us to the main event of night 2 Dr. Trey Cody Rhodes defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena. They had a great three week build overseas that was good back and forth. 328 00:41:07,000 --> 00:41:18,000 Cody laying out John Cena. John has been on television in the last two weeks he will be on Friday's edition and Smackdown to get the last word hanging in WrestleMania. 329 00:41:18,000 --> 00:41:30,000 This has been EBS in flows the elimination chamber moment was a hot start there was again this like brief period where John wasn't around and there was no follow up. 330 00:41:30,000 --> 00:41:39,000 They're back and forth their moments were really good with one another but then again we still were wondering why John why like legitimately why did you sell your soul to the rock. 331 00:41:39,000 --> 00:41:53,000 Where's the rock been and they have done that so it's been up and down nonetheless I think that this match brings it and it brings the entertainment value the same way that we saw Cody Rhodes matches at WrestleMania 39 and WrestleMania 40. 332 00:41:53,000 --> 00:42:06,000 With that said what makes the most sense for business what gives me the most intrigue and excitement coming out of WrestleMania is none other than to put the title on John Cena for a 17th time at his final WrestleMania. 333 00:42:06,000 --> 00:42:17,000 I think WWE wanted to do that anyway and I think if you did that with baby face John Cena the fans wouldn't like that but you do it with heel John Cena and I think the fans will like that because I think we're headed towards WrestleMania. 334 00:42:17,000 --> 00:42:26,000 Excuse me we're headed towards backlash in St Louis Bessuri and I think some old friends are going to rekindle a very classic and historic rivalry. 335 00:42:26,000 --> 00:42:35,000 So I am taking John Cena to leave WrestleMania 41 doctor tray as he undisputed WWE champion for the 17th record breaking time. 336 00:42:35,000 --> 00:42:54,000 So like thinking about this match like and that's kind of why I was hedging my bets on other aspects of the show because I picked Charlotte to win because if you put the title on John Cena it breaks Rick Flair's record so hey let's give a little love to the Flair family. 337 00:42:54,000 --> 00:43:14,000 I picked CM Punk very similar to what you just brought about backlash because of CM Punk wins hey who's the say we don't say we also heard John Cena say I could take the title and walk out well who did that first punk did it to Cena so I was like man this makes a lot of sense. 338 00:43:14,000 --> 00:43:41,000 This is where I see the rock get involved because when we saw the rock at the chamber he did the two finger thing before you did this throw slip we saw last year he did the three finger so to me that's a countdown WrestleMania is the final one the final boss gets involved allowing John Cena to win and we kind of get a heel version of the new corporation I guess like with rock and Cena and God forbid Travis Scott but he might be involved in this as well. 339 00:43:41,000 --> 00:43:57,000 Triple H loves and Travis Scott which I haven't figured out why because it's the motorhead guy loves and Travis Scott have figured out but for me it makes the most sense to turn the wrestling world on its ear by making John Cena a heel world champion and for the record breaking 17 time. 340 00:43:57,000 --> 00:44:07,000 So there you go both Dr. and are going with John Cena to leave WrestleMania 41 as the dispute of WWE champion so there's our preview predictions for night one and night two. 341 00:44:07,000 --> 00:44:17,000 Dr. I would be remiss if we didn't discuss this do we expect Randy Orton to be on the card for night one or night two WrestleMania 41 and if so against two. 342 00:44:17,000 --> 00:44:32,000 I am if we do I honestly don't know who you match it up with the only person made sense to me was solo but we we also talk about solo and Jacob as well so I think we might see solo and Randy on night two. 343 00:44:32,000 --> 00:44:47,000 So low basic demands of match because Jacob won the US title he has to prove his place as you know the head of their little family open challenge Randy comes out takes out solo in like you know 30 seconds or something. 344 00:44:47,000 --> 00:44:58,000 Yeah I think Randy Orton does get on the card he deserves to be on the card he should be on the card I think he takes on Solosiko I would say Nick Aldis is is a serious consideration as well. 345 00:44:58,000 --> 00:45:23,000 I think that would be pretty cool for Nick Aldis to get is like in ring WWE debut to be a WrestleMania I know people want to throw out the names of Aleister Black Malachi Black or Rusev Miro or even Jeff Cobb to make their either rate redabue or debut back in WWE at that card but I I don't think I think either Meltzer point in the South or maybe Sean Ross at point in the South. 346 00:45:23,000 --> 00:45:35,000 I don't think they go that direction because I think Orton is heading to St. Louis in his hometown at backlash the next BLE to take on the industry the WWE champion so he's not going to lose in mania. 347 00:45:35,000 --> 00:45:52,000 Yeah not so much I mean you see what they've done with the debuts of the of the pentas the Phoenix is even Cody going back to two years they make a big deal at a big production these AEW guys come back to WWE so I mean you have Randy or now they're in Malachi in Alistar Black comes out. 348 00:45:52,000 --> 00:46:21,000 You have Randy lose Alistar Black you have Randy or lose them to Rusev like that doesn't make sense you save those for the raw or smack down after many of those redabues and get people excited for the upcoming year so yeah to me it makes sense to do solo because then solo could take the take the beat come back on Smackdown and then Jacobs trying to take over the family solo has some issues and him and Tom Otanga and Tonga Loa whenever he returns. 349 00:46:21,000 --> 00:46:26,000 You know beat down Jacob Jacobs a baby face and so those back to being the heal. 350 00:46:26,000 --> 00:46:33,000 Let's look at some of the biggest WrestleMania snubs right now Dr. Trace a rain you're in so this a color on that list for me Sami Zayn not being there. 351 00:46:33,000 --> 00:46:49,000 The Street Profits DIY pretty deadly for everything they've done with the Smackdown Tagdune vision over the last couple months I would thrown those guards in there but they've kind of fallen back as they've helped build and introduced Ray Phoenix looks like they're involved a little bit more of a storyline now with Santos Escobar and Andrade. 352 00:46:49,000 --> 00:46:54,000 Chelsea Green there's been some rumblings about her being the host of WrestleMania. 353 00:46:54,000 --> 00:46:59,000 I think she got snubbed for not being on the card and I also throw out Nye Jacks where you lover or hate her. 354 00:46:59,000 --> 00:47:07,000 She was the focal point of the women's division for the second half of 2024 in the Smackdown brand and here she is not being featured at WrestleMania so. 355 00:47:07,000 --> 00:47:16,000 Randy Orton, Solicico, as Sami Zayn, Street Profits DIY pretty deadly Chelsea Green Nye Jacks those are my biggest WrestleMania snubs Dr. Trace. 356 00:47:16,000 --> 00:47:23,000 You got the run bronze, I think bronze is always a big star. I don't know if it's an interesting of course bronze reads out with injuries, Sami's out with injury. 357 00:47:23,000 --> 00:47:28,000 See camera if it goes the guys in but Jeff they left off Apollo crews. 358 00:47:28,000 --> 00:47:31,000 What the hell? 359 00:47:31,000 --> 00:47:34,000 Apollo Mania. 360 00:47:34,000 --> 00:47:43,000 Apollo Mania for those that are long time listeners of the show you get the reference so there you go some of the biggest WrestleMania snubs feel free to chime in on X at SRT you podcast. 361 00:47:43,000 --> 00:47:50,000 Let's get to stand and deliver Saturday morning depending on where you are it's going to be 1 p.m. in the East Coast, 10 a.m. in the Pacific Coast. 362 00:47:50,000 --> 00:48:10,000 NXT standing deliver the Saturday from the team over in Los Vegas, Nevada. We have a pretty show match that try metaphor a last legend in Jakara Jackson will be taken on Fatal influence Valenheim and Jason Jane versus Tatum Paxton and GG Dolan versus Roxanne present court Jade in a Fatal four way tag team elimination match to the tournament. 363 00:48:10,000 --> 00:48:21,000 There are a number of contenders for the WWE women's tag team championship that will be taking place on the NXT edition of television edition of the CW on Tuesday coming out of WrestleMania weekend. 364 00:48:21,000 --> 00:48:25,000 I'm going to take Roxanne present court Jade in this one not try. 365 00:48:25,000 --> 00:48:37,000 Yeah me too although I would like to see Lash and Jakara get a little love a little more love because if you do a heel faction on Smackdown with like Bianca Naomi and Jakara and Lash that be pretty awesome. 366 00:48:37,000 --> 00:48:50,000 But yeah I'm taking Roxanne in court as well by the way I don't know about you as a rest not a wrestling fan but as a person who works in the wrestling business to be doing a show at 10 o'clock in the morning. 367 00:48:50,000 --> 00:49:08,000 So you're in your in Vegas of all places actually you know not go out and do anything stupid the night before because you have a 10 o'clock bell time that's crazy to me but props to the NXT crowd for getting up super early to actually put a show together. 368 00:49:08,000 --> 00:49:19,000 Keep in mind if anybody is they're also at the Hall of Fame the night before that's 10 p.m. Pacific that's not 10 p.m. East that's 10 p.m. Pacific so there you go. 369 00:49:19,000 --> 00:49:29,000 I was going to say do you think any of the NXT people will be there the Hall of Fame or they're like no I gotta go to bed I gotta be up in like seven hours for a wrestling show so probably have a call time of like 7 a.m. 370 00:49:29,000 --> 00:49:32,000 So yeah I think a bit of pass. 371 00:49:32,000 --> 00:49:51,000 DeAngelo family take it on dark state doctor. I'm gonna take dark state because you know the under boss and the big boss the dawn are having issues so this is a way to keep dark state looking strong and then crease the more tension between 372 00:49:51,000 --> 00:50:06,000 the Angelo and stacks and by the way I'm actually a pretty big fan of some of these guys in dark state like I'm excited to see where they go with this although it is a little like knock off shieldish but 373 00:50:06,000 --> 00:50:21,000 the new name I don't know but him and then the other guy that has to Carter something rather like those two guys I'm big fans of although I don't know their names. 374 00:50:21,000 --> 00:50:24,000 Yes or about that because I'm not a coughing fit. 375 00:50:24,000 --> 00:50:27,000 It is our G season. 376 00:50:27,000 --> 00:50:47,000 The teon Linux color James say quant sugars that's an OSIRIS Griffin so sugars and color James I'm big fans of color James fantastic wrestler University of Duke if you didn't watch the show they had on I think it was on actually on a road coup where they were taking people like straight 377 00:50:47,000 --> 00:51:07,000 off like athletes and putting the training all stuff color James in a BG or BJ ray that you see on LFG those are two of the featured guys on that show and color James is a fantastic athlete and I mean literally could be like Charlie 378 00:51:07,000 --> 00:51:18,000 Gable ask with his wrestling background I remember watching color James on NXT level up he was doing like this neighbor gimmick so I think he's also been on LFG which I've watched a couple episodes of. 379 00:51:18,000 --> 00:51:25,000 I got catch up on it show I've heard good things about it so Dr. Shry you're taking dark state in this one I'm going to take dark state as well and I actually think 380 00:51:25,000 --> 00:51:35,000 Channing stacks Lorenzo turns on the D'Angelo family this one and just goes off on his own or like joins dark state I think you joined dark state I have I have a couple 381 00:51:35,000 --> 00:51:43,000 predictions for them are Zaria versus Clonnie Jordan versus Solorooka versus Izzy Day versus Lil' Levice versus the 382 00:51:43,000 --> 00:51:49,000 inhale in a ladder match for the vacant NXT women's North American championship I'm going to take the a haleness one Dr. 383 00:51:49,000 --> 00:51:55,000 Tren don't think you bring her back to television for to to have like a losing streak rate of media so I'm going to actually take the 384 00:51:55,000 --> 00:52:05,000 a hal with the the Shawn victory which would be NXT fashion so I'm actually agree I'm taking the a hal as well and and because of her return and also they just put the 385 00:52:05,000 --> 00:52:16,000 speech a bishop on Solrooka so I like you can't put another belt on her as much as I much I love her I think she's a future made event wrestling star WWE I think the 386 00:52:16,000 --> 00:52:24,000 hails is a joy to watch so I want to see the a hell get the win get the North American title next about yours for the NXT tag team championship is Nathan Frazier and 387 00:52:24,000 --> 00:52:30,000 Axe him defending at tank Walker and take ledger doctor who do you like in this one. Do we have to take the belts off 388 00:52:30,000 --> 00:52:38,000 fraxe him at some point I mean it feels I mean it feels like it's been forever but I think I'm going to take Hank and tank just because they're 389 00:52:38,000 --> 00:52:48,000 kind of like the new version of every machinery and we just they're just fall in love and guys and we want to see that I just think it's time to make a switch and 390 00:52:48,000 --> 00:52:54,000 it fresh of the tag team division so I'm going to take Hank and tank I'm going to take Hank and take as well and there's a report out there 391 00:52:54,000 --> 00:53:02,000 doctor trade that fraxe was actually supposed to be involved in the Smackdown tag team title match it would have been a ladder match between 392 00:53:02,000 --> 00:53:10,000 the guys tree profits pretty deadly and them reportedly fraxe him which would have seen fraxe him make their move to Smackdown so there's 393 00:53:10,000 --> 00:53:17,000 rumbly that they are supposed to be coming to Smackdown post WrestleMania and I think this is the place where they drop the tag team titles so I 394 00:53:17,000 --> 00:53:25,000 like Dr. Tram taking Hank Walker and take ledger funny wouldn't have you machinery I think Hank can take remind me of like public enemy I think has a lot to do with the 395 00:53:25,000 --> 00:53:32,000 season so that works if you told me this match a year ago was going to be taking place at WrestleMania weekend I would have thought that 396 00:53:32,000 --> 00:53:40,000 we bought a W as Ricky Saints defense the NXT North American championship against Ethan Page I am taking Ricky Saints in this one 397 00:53:40,000 --> 00:53:47,000 doctor trade I don't think you have him continue to lose so I was like this is like an FU to AW this match. 398 00:53:47,000 --> 00:53:57,000 What's the chant they give Tony Conn at NXT I got a lot of fun but yeah I mean I pretty much expect full both these guys we stand 399 00:53:57,000 --> 00:54:04,000 to the ring in the crowd chanting Tony Fubble but I'm with you I'm taking Ricky Saints as well Ethan is so good as a 400 00:54:04,000 --> 00:54:10,000 heel he doesn't need wins Ricky Saints you're trying to establish a measure next breakout star that North American title has been the stepping stone 401 00:54:10,000 --> 00:54:17,000 for everybody else on the roster usually when they make the assent up to the next he championship so I'm taking the Saints as well. 402 00:54:17,000 --> 00:54:25,000 And let's get to the next match here Stephanie Valkor defense the NXT women's championship against Julia Jordan Grace and Jada Parker in a 403 00:54:25,000 --> 00:54:34,000 fatal four way match who do you like in this one Dr. Try man I this one's hard because you just made Stephanie double champ may 404 00:54:34,000 --> 00:54:41,000 hear lose a belt you took a belt off Julia because she was injured for literally like two months that was it like not even that 405 00:54:41,000 --> 00:54:48,000 like maybe like a month and a half then you have Jordan Grace in there as well like it's it's literally a coin flip for me I'm going to 406 00:54:48,000 --> 00:54:55,000 lean Stephanie Valkor just because you took the belt you took the North American title off of her you don't take this one 407 00:54:55,000 --> 00:55:00,000 off of her right away as well so I'm going to take Stephanie Valkor to retain. Yeah I'm with you I don't think they take this 408 00:55:00,000 --> 00:55:07,000 title off Stephanie Valkor I would love to pick Jada Parker I think she is going to be major player in WWE at some point I just don't 409 00:55:07,000 --> 00:55:14,000 think it's taking place a WrestleMania week or right now and that takes us to our next match here Dr. is Oba Femi defense the NXT 410 00:55:14,000 --> 00:55:20,000 championship against trick Williams and Javion Evans this is a tough one to call believe it out because I think Javion 411 00:55:20,000 --> 00:55:32,000 Evans could potentially be the leader of dark state part of me wants to pick Javion Evans to win this match but the way that NXT television end this week with him hitting the 412 00:55:32,000 --> 00:55:39,000 cutter on both trick Williams and Oba Femi makes me think that that will not be taking place so I'm going to take Oba Femi to retain the NXT 413 00:55:39,000 --> 00:55:48,000 championship but I was very tempted to say Javon Javion Evans joins dark state Wednesday NXT championship in leave standing deliver on top but I'm going to go with Oba Femi to 414 00:55:48,000 --> 00:55:59,000 retain. Yeah I usually NXT is this or like the standing deliver weekend or the WrestleMania weekends usually a swan song for somebody I think this is 415 00:55:59,000 --> 00:56:08,000 tricks swan song for NXT I can see him getting moved up to Smackdown before too long whether you or I agree that he's ready for 416 00:56:08,000 --> 00:56:14,000 that stage I just think it's a move that that or they're going to turn him heel full fledged heel because that's the other thing they usually do post 417 00:56:14,000 --> 00:56:26,000 WrestleMania so I'm taking Oba to retain as well I'll probably say trick ends up turning heel on the next edition of NXT on the CW Network because that's what they did with like 418 00:56:26,000 --> 00:56:34,000 Braun Breaker and mellow and all those guys as well like you get a world title run then you guys show me you can work the opposite side of the coin before we move you up to 419 00:56:34,000 --> 00:56:43,000 the main roster so I'll take Oba because Oba as much we love him there's not really a spot for him on the main roster because he's instantly a main event level guy in the 420 00:56:43,000 --> 00:56:53,000 Braun Breaker vein if you move them up to the main roster that of course Friday night or excuse me early Saturday morning on the East Coast one am on the East 10 p.m. Pacific Friday night on the 421 00:56:53,000 --> 00:57:01,000 West Coast is the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025 show triple H will be inducted by Sean Michaels Michelle McCool be inducted by the 422 00:57:01,000 --> 00:57:07,000 Undertaker Lex Luger will be inducted by Diamond All's page the natural disasters earthquake and typhoon will be inducted the 423 00:57:07,000 --> 00:57:17,000 immortal moment of breath that man heart versus don't quote Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13 inducted by CM Punk will be taking place and then Dory funk senior Ivan Kohl 424 00:57:17,000 --> 00:57:26,000 off and Kamala will be the legacy inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025. This is always a great night Dr. Trey sometimes they've ran very long so 425 00:57:26,000 --> 00:57:35,000 would be interesting how this all takes place and unfolds when I check it out early Saturday morning but I'm excited for triple H and I cannot wait to see the 426 00:57:35,000 --> 00:57:45,000 reaction he gets and you know Lex Luger is one of those first guys that I really liked when I was watching don't do F in the back of the day I started you know I knew about it in the 427 00:57:45,000 --> 00:57:59,000 late 80s early 90s but I really started to catch on in summer 93 when he was doing the Lex Express got by Lex Luger got behind Brett heart and yeah the Lex Luger going in I know is his past is 428 00:57:59,000 --> 00:58:10,000 the last 20 years and I'm happy for him so I'm excited to see Lex go in there and then breath in man heart for stonkle Steve Austin is such a 429 00:58:10,000 --> 00:58:16,000 classic match we argued debated you know should this be the first immortal moment I think you know when you look at it stage of 430 00:58:16,000 --> 00:58:25,000 WrestleMania and they did a complete baby face heel swap in the middle of the match and it the trajectory of both these men 431 00:58:25,000 --> 00:58:33,000 afterwards was amazing I mean it catapulted so Colt Steve Austin and that is the immortal moment I'm looking forward to the show on on Friday night or when I check it out 432 00:58:33,000 --> 00:58:44,000 Saturday morning doctor try your thoughts in the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2025 yeah really really solid class like I'm happy for triple H to go in solo because I 433 00:58:44,000 --> 00:58:51,000 mean his run as a solo wrestler is you know in a lot of ways on parallel I mean he was kind of the bridge between the attitude 434 00:58:51,000 --> 00:58:58,000 to era and you know the ruthless aggression era then even into this newer era where he had to fight Roman Reigns in WrestleMania in a couple 435 00:58:58,000 --> 00:59:06,000 of years back so I like I'm excited for him Lex Luger like I was always torn on Lex Luger like in a lot of us ever 436 00:59:06,000 --> 00:59:11,000 being a kid and reading about Lex when he was still in Florida and have people calling on the next home Cogan but he 437 00:59:11,000 --> 00:59:17,000 had a great career and you know despite the checker pass the guys you know former World Champion US champion multiple time 438 00:59:17,000 --> 00:59:25,000 tag team champion I remember him racking Hogan and getting the tap out win on Hogan which was crazy back in those days 439 00:59:25,000 --> 00:59:34,000 only to lose the belt a couple weeks later back to Hogan and hog wild so excited for him Michelle McCool I really wish they 440 00:59:34,000 --> 00:59:40,000 were conducting Michelle McCool and Layla L at the same time because Lake Cool was so much fun to watch back in the day 441 00:59:40,000 --> 00:59:48,000 I mentioned a few weeks ago Fred Ottman friends of mine of you know Facebook friends super happy for the natural disasters and Ivan Kool 442 00:59:48,000 --> 00:59:55,000 off like I said soft spot I got I've met Ivan Kool off I've met his trainees one of our guys is trained by M love 443 00:59:55,000 --> 01:00:03,000 and the death has never said a bad word about Ivan Kool off and one of the most underrated wrestlers of the last 50 years I mean the guy 444 01:00:03,000 --> 01:00:14,000 Pete Bruno had the great wrong with him and Nikita and W and NWA WCW so super happy for for his family as well to see Ivan go into the hall of fame 445 01:00:14,000 --> 01:00:23,000 so there you go the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 and that brings us to our final things dr.
