  Yeah, this is the one we've been talking about. We didn't think it was going

  to happen, but yeah, welcome back to Have Faith, Let It Begin.

  And today we're doing something a little different.

  This one is about faith. It's patience and a woodchuck.

  Yeah, you heard me right. Let me take you back.

  Everything was calm. It was peaceful. I was walking around the house,

  minding my own business.

  And then I see it. I saw it. It was a hole, not a small hole.

  Something is living here and paying no rent.

  No rent at all. And it's a huge hole.

  And immediately, your mind starts to race.

  I'm thinking, okay, what is this? First thought, maybe it was a skunk.

  I mean, I looked at my video camera and my footage outside, and sure enough,
• 2:35
  there was a skunk out there.

  It just happens that the skunk was outside, but he didn't create the hole.

  Because why not go straight to the worst case scenario, right?

  Yeah, eventually it happened. He poked his head out.

  So now I'm out there inspecting like some kind of a nature documentary,

  looking at the hole, walking around it like I know what I'm doing.

  Meanwhile, whatever is living under there is probably looking at me like this guy has no idea.

  But then it hits me. This feels familiar. And that's what I realized. The woodchuck is back.

  Now, at this point, it's not just a hole anymore. It's personal.

  Because, I tell you, if you've ever dealt with something like this, you know.

  Once they move in, they don't just leave.
• 3:29
  So what do I do? I go to the store. I got some concrete.

  Out there like I'm building a foundation. And I'm thinking, this is it.

  This is the end of the story.

  I patch it up, step back. I felt good about myself.

  And like I just won something. And for a moment, everything got quiet.

  But if you ever dealt with a woodchuck, you already know it's never this simple.

  And it's funny, as funny as it sounds, there's something in this.

  Because sometimes in life, we fix one thing and we think the other problem is

  gone. And then life shows up.

  And life shows us there's more underneath the surface. It's not always about reacting.

  It's about staying ready, staying patient, and trusting God even in the small

  everyday battles, even the ones that involve a woodchuck.

  We got to pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding us that even in the

  small frustrations of life, you're present.

  Help us to have patience, to not overreact, and to trust in every situation, big or small.
• 4:45
  And Lord, if it's your will, maybe guide this woodchuck somewhere else.
