- 1:35Speaker 2: My friends, welcome to your meditative prayer on improving confidence.
- 1:39Speaker 2: To get the most out of your spiritual journey, use
- 1:41Speaker 2: Pray.com every day and make prayer a priority in your life. Again,
- 1:47Speaker 2: our goal for today's meditative prayer is all about improving
- 1:50Speaker 2: your confidence. Let's be honest, confidence can seem complicated to acquire.
- 1:56Speaker 2: So today, let's gather your courage to step out and
- 2:00Speaker 2: spend a moment with God. I challenge you to close
- 2:03Speaker 2: your eyes, maybe take a deep breath in, and then
- 2:08Speaker 2: exhale out. Taking captive every thought, let's now shift your
- 2:13Speaker 2: focus unto God, for He is waiting for you. Today,
- 2:17Speaker 2: we'll be meditating on Psalm chapter 14, verse 26 from
- 2:21Speaker 2: the King James Version. In the fear of the Lord
- 2:24Speaker 2: is strong confidence, and his children shall have a place
- 2:29Speaker 2: of refuge. My friends, take a moment just to pour
- 2:33Speaker 2: out your adoration to God. Jesus, I love you and
- 2:38Speaker 2: praise your name. For you, Lord, are my rock, my fortress,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and my deliverer. My God, my strength. Confidence comes from
- 2:48Speaker 2: fearing God. confidence is generally the opposite of fear but
- 3:20Speaker 2: fear of God is the source of confidence to fear
- 3:24Speaker 2: God is not to be scared of him but rather
- 3:27Speaker 2: to love and obey him to seek his presence and
- 3:31Speaker 2: his power to keep his commandments and to cherish his
- 3:35Speaker 2: correction to treasure his wisdom and to value his knowledge
- 3:40Speaker 2: to meditate on his word day and night to let
- 3:43Speaker 2: it catch fire in your heart To yearn to know
- 3:47Speaker 2: Him and to be known by Him. To receive His
- 3:51Speaker 2: unconditional love and to love Him with no restrictions. To
- 3:56Speaker 2: recklessly pursue Him. To desire Him above all others and
- 4:00Speaker 2: all else. Simply put, to fear God is to put
- 4:04Speaker 2: Him first in your life. When you honor God, when
- 4:08Speaker 2: you make Him your priority, He too honors you. He
- 4:13Speaker 2: fills you with His courage and His strength. He covers
- 4:17Speaker 2: you with His grace and His goodness. He empowers you
- 4:21Speaker 2: with His wisdom and knowledge. He pours His Holy Spirit
- 4:26Speaker 2: over you. He reveals truth to you. He envelopes you
- 4:30Speaker 2: with His love and with the very essence of His being.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Sometimes we forget this and we forget to put God first.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Right now, this is your opportunity to rectify your situations.
- 4:45Speaker 2: So turn to Christ and confess your sins to him.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Ask him to cleanse you of iniquity and to purify
- 4:54Speaker 2: your heart. My friends, take just a few minutes now
- 4:58Speaker 2: to dwell on the blessings of God. Thank Jesus for
- 5:02Speaker 2: his instruction and guidance, for helping you to navigate the
- 5:06Speaker 2: obstacles of this world. Thank him for his divine wisdom
- 5:11Speaker 2: and and knowledge which enable you to not only survive
- 5:14Speaker 2: but to thrive in this life. Thank Him for the
- 5:18Speaker 2: love and care He continuously bestows upon you. And now
- 5:23Speaker 2: think of some past situations where you were filled with
- 5:26Speaker 2: confusion and frustration. Thank the Holy Spirit for being your
- 5:31Speaker 2: comforter during those hard times, for being your light in
- 5:34Speaker 2: the darkness and for showing you the way. Thank God
- 5:38Speaker 2: for being your place of refuge. God is present and
- 5:43Speaker 2: He is listening to you. Jesus longs to bless you
- 5:48Speaker 2: and to fill your heart with His assurance. He knows
- 5:52Speaker 2: the difficulties and challenges that you face. As His child,
- 5:57Speaker 2: you have access to His throne room. So come before
- 6:01Speaker 2: Him and ask for aid. Ask the Holy Spirit to
- 6:04Speaker 2: imprint God's words upon your heart to enable you to
- 6:08Speaker 2: live out the promises found in Scripture. Ask him to
- 6:11Speaker 2: help you love the Lord with all your heart, with
- 6:14Speaker 2: all your mind, and with all your strength. Ask Jesus
- 6:18Speaker 2: to help you be obedient to his word, to empower
- 6:22Speaker 2: you to love and know him as you are loved
- 6:25Speaker 2: and known by him. Remember, confidence comes from fearing God.
- 6:31Speaker 2: To fear God is to respect him, to love him,
- 6:35Speaker 2: and to obey his word. So choose this day to
- 6:39Speaker 2: put your trust in God to boldly stand and trust
- 6:43Speaker 2: in the promise of His Word. Allow His Holy Spirit
- 6:47Speaker 2: to fill your heart, mind, and soul with the truth
- 6:50Speaker 2: of who He is and open yourself to the peace
- 6:54Speaker 2: and assurance that God has prepared for you. My friends,
- 6:58Speaker 2: thank you for completing today's meditative prayer on Pray.com. By
