- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to game debut, Patrick Claymont. Here is Greg
- 0:14Speaker 2: Rosenthal and Cynthia Freeland. Get you ready for Week eight?
- 0:17Speaker 2: And what a time, What a spectacular time we've been
- 0:21Speaker 2: having picking football games with the people.
- 0:23Speaker 3: It's the time of year and I love picking games
- 0:25Speaker 3: with you. Although this show it drives me crazy because
- 0:27Speaker 3: then I just root for my picks and the picks
- 0:29Speaker 3: are inevitably wrong.
- 0:31Speaker 4: That's when I switched to the picks.
- 0:32Speaker 5: When you switch your picks, things go wrong. You need
- 0:34Speaker 5: to trust your gut. You need to believe in yourself.
- 0:37Speaker 5: You need to just listen to what's going on inside.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Sony.
- 0:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I have a gut year and you have a
- 0:41Speaker 4: computer model.
- 0:42Speaker 5: I'm actually gutless.
- 0:44Speaker 6: This is Greg when he doesn't stick to his picks.
- 0:46Speaker 6: Let's look back.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Last week, Greg and Cynthia went eleven and four in
- 0:50Speaker 2: the picks.
- 0:51Speaker 6: Triple g would have done.
- 0:52Speaker 2: He would have gone thirteen and two if he had
- 0:54Speaker 2: stuff with his gut and not changed his Colts and
- 0:57Speaker 2: Brown's picks. Last second, the standings, It's happening. Cynthia is
- 1:01Speaker 2: coming for the crown for the time being. I will
- 1:04Speaker 2: currently wear that at sixty six and forty one. Despite
- 1:07Speaker 2: being betrayed by the Dolphins and Chargers last week, Greg
- 1:10Speaker 2: isn't won the whole grudges, but you know who.
- 1:12Speaker 6: Mike and has a big date with his ex this weekend.
- 1:15Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers.
- 1:19Speaker 7: Still waiting for an answer from Aaron Rodgers this viewers
- 1:22Speaker 7: will retirement. The man hasn't seen the playoffs in several
- 1:25Speaker 7: years now. I don't need it for my ego, I
- 1:28Speaker 7: don't need it. The decisions made from the soul are
- 1:32Speaker 7: usually pretty fulfriendly Mike Tummy. I've been a fan of
- 1:36Speaker 7: his for a long time.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers, He's going to dawn a black and gold.
- 1:42Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure this is it.
- 1:43Speaker 5: I've played twenty pricking years.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a long run.
- 1:47Speaker 7: This was really about finishing with love and fun and peace.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I've been in this thing a long time.
- 1:52Speaker 2: There's no substitute for intimacy and spending time together.
- 1:56Speaker 7: This was a decision that was best for my soul.
- 1:59Speaker 6: I'm excited to be here. Very unsettling animation there.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Let's look back at Aaron Rodgers time with the Green
- 2:07Speaker 2: Bay Packers Oh yeah, he won four MVPs, He's the
- 2:10Speaker 2: all time leader in passing touchdowns, won that Super Bowl
- 2:14Speaker 2: against the Steelers, and got the Super Bowl MVP. Eleven
- 2:17Speaker 2: career playoff wins, the fifth most by a quarterback with
- 2:21Speaker 2: a single team.
- 2:22Speaker 6: And so we're calling it revenge.
- 2:23Speaker 2: He's gonna get shot at revenge Sunday night when Jordan
- 2:25Speaker 2: Love and the Packers come to town.
- 2:27Speaker 6: Aaron says it's not a revenge game for him.
- 2:29Speaker 2: He also said it felt good to beat everyone associated
- 2:32Speaker 2: with the Jets. It also doesn't come close, he said,
- 2:34Speaker 2: to playing Green Bay because of the eighteen years.
- 2:36Speaker 6: So there's a bit of a contradiction there. Good.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think looking for consistency in Aaron Rodgers's
- 2:41Speaker 3: quotes is really something you want to do or necessarily.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Like how he's played on the field this year. Look,
- 2:47Speaker 3: he's been better than I expected. But you saw the
- 2:50Speaker 3: old Am radio he was on like time comes for everyone.
- 2:53Speaker 3: His coach and the quarterback there, I think they're not
- 2:57Speaker 3: as good as the young guys over in Green Bay,
- 2:59Speaker 3: especially Jordan Love.
- 3:00Speaker 4: When Jordan Love.
- 3:01Speaker 3: And Matt Lafleur are on offense this week, and I
- 3:04Speaker 3: consider them a tandem. I think it's the mismatch, like
- 3:08Speaker 3: Mike Tomlin got lit up because that defense was predictable
- 3:12Speaker 3: last week, and that was against Joe Flacco. Jordan Love
- 3:14Speaker 3: is starting to play his best ball. Thought it was
- 3:16Speaker 3: a good game against Arizona. Thought he made more plays
- 3:19Speaker 3: on the move. That's where he has a lot of
- 3:22Speaker 3: confidence when you know he's making plays.
- 3:24Speaker 4: That aren't just in structure.
- 3:25Speaker 3: And I think in structure they will pick on the
- 3:28Speaker 3: Steelers defense. I don't think it's close. Thirty six to twelve,
- 3:31Speaker 3: the Packers get the win.
- 3:33Speaker 5: The last time the Packers won in Pittsburgh, Bart Starr
- 3:37Speaker 5: beat Terry Bradshaw. Wow bit a minute since then, but
- 3:41Speaker 5: I have it happening just by one point. Though twenty
- 3:43Speaker 5: three to twenty two is my final score in this one.
- 3:46Speaker 5: I think that I like the balance with green Bay
- 3:49Speaker 5: better so on offense, their best on third down, but
- 3:51Speaker 5: on defense. In addition to this man that comes for
- 3:53Speaker 5: your life for your quarterback against a potential situation with
- 3:57Speaker 5: their O line where Aaron Rodgers said something along the
- 4:00Speaker 5: lines of like I like his, I like his he talks,
- 4:04Speaker 5: but I'm also forty one years old some version of that.
- 4:06Speaker 5: So long story short, Micah Parsons is coming for him.
- 4:09Speaker 5: But in addition to that, the Packers defense is also
- 4:11Speaker 5: really good at stopping the run, So that's why they
- 4:14Speaker 5: have the edge for me.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah, specifically, the edge in the run game is why
- 4:17Speaker 2: I'm picking Green Bay to win as well. I've got
- 4:19Speaker 2: them winning by six points because they are successful on
- 4:23Speaker 2: the ground while the Steelers might not be.
- 4:25Speaker 6: The Packers confident in their ability to.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Run or pass, but the run rate is the third
- 4:29Speaker 2: highest in the league while they are being a top
- 4:32Speaker 2: ten team in the league in terms of rush efficiency.
- 4:34Speaker 6: They've got eight scores on the ground to the Steelers three.
- 4:37Speaker 2: The Steelers may be getting three when they get in
- 4:39Speaker 2: the red zone, whereas I think the Packers might end up.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Getting six in their opportunities.
- 4:44Speaker 2: There one a season once again for Josh Jacobs. As
- 4:47Speaker 2: we yes are all picking Green Bay Packers mimus away
- 4:50Speaker 2: Steelers fans, but it's signed for Who's Eating Good presented
- 4:54Speaker 2: by Applebee's.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Let's ask a.
- 4:56Speaker 6: Question about Aaron Rodgers.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I think there's some conversation about him coming into this
- 4:59Speaker 2: game more or less Cynthia than two hundred and eighteen
- 5:02Speaker 2: passing yards.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Well, we've seen Aaron Rodgers get rid of the ball
- 5:05Speaker 5: very quickly again this season, that's maybe where some of
- 5:08Speaker 5: that time is coming for him. So I think that
- 5:10Speaker 5: it ends up being more not necessarily because he's throwing
- 5:12Speaker 5: heel Mary's, which we did see. We saw one. Was
- 5:15Speaker 5: there begin to that, yes, but I'm not talking about that.
- 5:18Speaker 5: I'm talking about shorter passes, two tight ends. That has
- 5:20Speaker 5: been the formula for him, and especially with Micah Parsons
- 5:22Speaker 5: coming for you, you want to get rid of it very quickly,
- 5:24Speaker 5: which is what he'll do.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Our next matchup does take us to Denver, Colorado, where
- 5:29Speaker 2: the Broncos altered one of the wildest comebacks we've ever
- 5:32Speaker 2: seen last week against the Giants. As we start the
- 5:36Speaker 2: fourth quarter, remember they scored eighteen unanswered points to win
- 5:40Speaker 2: in Philadelphia two weeks ago to come from.
- 5:42Speaker 6: Behind Giants nineteen dead or not.
- 5:44Speaker 2: That the three receivers outside his right Nicks on a
- 5:47Speaker 2: designed quarterback run, bolls out to damps.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Stop Holy Matral.
- 5:55Speaker 2: The Broncos are an extra point away from putting thirty
- 5:59Speaker 2: on the Giants in the fourth quarter.
- 6:02Speaker 6: Now they motioned everybody out empty set for Dart.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Dart pumps his right leg takes a snap, he's gonna
- 6:09Speaker 2: run with it and he fives ahead.
- 6:11Speaker 6: He break the play though, sure after we hear hearing
- 6:15Speaker 6: the play, it's a touchdown. Maget Tombey for the extra
- 6:21Speaker 6: point snap is good. He had gone its ways. He
- 6:26Speaker 6: missed it, Mecca.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Tommy has fished two extra points, an attempt of thirty
- 6:31Speaker 2: nine yards for the win.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Snap placement kick on the way.
- 6:37Speaker 2: He's done that thirty point fourth quarter, including coming back
- 6:47Speaker 2: and score with thirty seconds as the kickers fall. Now,
- 6:49Speaker 2: the Broncos play host to Dak Prescott and the Cowboys
- 6:52Speaker 2: on Sunday. How will Denver follow up last weekend's miraculous
- 6:56Speaker 2: wins well a.
- 6:57Speaker 5: Four point win, which would keep on track with their
- 7:00Speaker 5: trend of having one possession wins or less. So four
- 7:04Speaker 5: points twenty seven to twenty three is what I have
- 7:06Speaker 5: in this one. And we saw something at the end
- 7:08Speaker 5: of that game from bo Nicks. Now, maybe you could
- 7:10Speaker 5: say that the Giants defense played some weird defense there
- 7:14Speaker 5: and Bonix was able to take advantage. But if you're
- 7:16Speaker 5: looking at the end of that game plus what he
- 7:18Speaker 5: does on third and fourth down combined, where he has
- 7:20Speaker 5: six hundred and seventy three total yards, including lots of
- 7:23Speaker 5: rushing yards. The screen passes work, folks, But ultimately I'm
- 7:26Speaker 5: seeing improvement from Bonnicks and this is a situation where
- 7:30Speaker 5: the defense has really helped keep the offense kind of
- 7:33Speaker 5: getting through some of their struggles. But I think it
- 7:35Speaker 5: starts to pull together against this Cowboys defense in this matchup.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I like points in this game more than I like
- 7:41Speaker 3: either of these teams. Ultimately, I went with Denver, but
- 7:44Speaker 3: I don't think Denver's defense is going to be able
- 7:46Speaker 3: to stop this Cowboys offense.
- 7:48Speaker 4: That's how good they are.
- 7:48Speaker 3: But they will make a few plays and it probably
- 7:51Speaker 3: comes from the linebackers.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Maybe it's Justin Strnad.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Yes, I love a good last name that starts with
- 7:56Speaker 3: four straight continents. If you have Justin Stronad on the field,
- 8:00Speaker 3: you don't know if he's dropping back and coverage big
- 8:02Speaker 3: pick last week, or he's gonna rush the passer.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Three and a half sacks.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Six QB hits already career highs for a guy who's
- 8:09Speaker 3: been on.
- 8:10Speaker 4: The roster for six seasons.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Drey green Law suspended this week, and I don't think
- 8:14Speaker 3: it's gonna hurt them because frankly, they should have strenad
- 8:17Speaker 3: on the field every down. He really has been a joker,
- 8:20Speaker 3: a difference maker. They have two great linebackers still in
- 8:23Speaker 3: the lineup with Alex Singleton, so they make a couple
- 8:26Speaker 3: big plays and get a close win.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I love this Denver Broncos defense, but this matchup here
- 8:32Speaker 2: is leading me towards taking the Dallas Cowboys. I've got
- 8:34Speaker 2: the Cowboys winning twenty four to twenty one. I don't
- 8:37Speaker 2: have a problem being all alone here because I feel
- 8:38Speaker 2: like the option pass game with the Giants might have
- 8:41Speaker 2: highlighted some places where Schottenheimer and Dak Prescott can take
- 8:44Speaker 2: advantage in that aspect of the game, and when things
- 8:47Speaker 2: need to be a little more traditional they can be.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Because George Pickens has been winning these contested Cats situations and.
- 8:53Speaker 6: He's gonna have them. Look, here's Sauce Garter him fighting
- 8:55Speaker 6: with it. Marshau Latimore was doing it a couple weeks ago.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Don't know where jac Horn is on this play, babe.
- 9:00Speaker 2: He probably could have been on George Pickens. But Riley
- 9:03Speaker 2: Moss has been target it more than all quarterbacks in
- 9:06Speaker 2: the NFL except for five other ones, which is a
- 9:08Speaker 2: weird way for me to say that Stephanie top though.
- 9:10Speaker 6: In terms of getting.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Targets because of who's on the other side, I think
- 9:14Speaker 2: there's only one Patrick Soutan made in either CD or
- 9:18Speaker 2: George Pickens. It gets a good matchup, and I like
- 9:20Speaker 2: the Dallas Cowboys in this one going all by myself.
- 9:23Speaker 2: It's time forget more with Getko as we stay in
- 9:27Speaker 2: this game, Cynthia, which star receiver is more likely to
- 9:30Speaker 2: score a touchdown?
- 9:31Speaker 6: Cortland Sutton or CD Lamb.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Well, I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I'm
- 9:34Speaker 5: actually going with Courtland Sutton in this one. Number one.
- 9:37Speaker 5: You talked about that number two factor, which is the
- 9:40Speaker 5: Pets or Tan situation and the Riley Moss situation, which
- 9:44Speaker 5: for me leads to more of an opportunity for the
- 9:46Speaker 5: end zone for George Pickens or potentially, I don't know,
- 9:49Speaker 5: say a tight end National tight ends day. Perhaps that's
- 9:52Speaker 5: the answer. I just think that the wats or Tan
- 9:55Speaker 5: will be deployed will be to try to shut down
- 9:57Speaker 5: Ceedee Lamb and maybe the jah De Baron breakout moment.
- 10:00Speaker 5: As a rookie that's they drafted this year, he kind
- 10:02Speaker 5: of lines up in an area where SE runs a lot,
- 10:04Speaker 5: so I think there's been a lot ask of him,
- 10:06Speaker 5: But for me, Courtland Sutton has a better opportunity against
- 10:09Speaker 5: a defense that has been very vulnerable to deep passes.
- 10:12Speaker 6: I am very vulnerable to particular storylines.
- 10:15Speaker 2: This is the Javonte Williams revenge game. He and JK
- 10:19Speaker 2: Dobbins both averaging about five yards to carry, which one
- 10:22Speaker 2: of those guys Greg is more likely to rush.
- 10:24Speaker 6: For over sixteen.
- 10:25Speaker 3: This is a layup Davante Williams not only in the
- 10:28Speaker 3: revenge game, but he's just running through tacklers week after week.
- 10:32Speaker 3: The offensive line is making big holes for him, but
- 10:35Speaker 3: it's the yards after contact which have been so impressive.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Plus, you know he's the guy.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I mean, if we could go back to training camp
- 10:42Speaker 3: and tell all the fantasy owners out there that it's
- 10:44Speaker 3: just Davante all the time in the Cowboys backfield, he
- 10:46Speaker 3: would have been drafted so high. Meanwhile, I know it's
- 10:49Speaker 3: been heavy JK Dobbins lately, but if you told me
- 10:52Speaker 3: that it's a Harvey week, yep.
- 10:55Speaker 4: For the Bronco exactly what it could be? A Tyler
- 10:58Speaker 4: Batty week? Here is it?
- 10:59Speaker 3: But day I don't even know he changed sometimes in
- 11:02Speaker 3: terms of Harriet You just don't know when it's Sean Payton,
- 11:05Speaker 3: but you know when it's Javonte Williams.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm with you on that one. I think that
- 11:08Speaker 5: we saw some RJ. Harvey looks in the red area
- 11:10Speaker 5: last week. That could just mean a little bit more
- 11:13Speaker 5: of an opportunity for Javonta Williams, who is the Lion
- 11:15Speaker 5: share guy like he is there bellcow Back on that team.
- 11:18Speaker 6: I love this matchup.
- 11:19Speaker 2: The game also gives us a fun chance to look
- 11:21Speaker 2: back at about a decade plus of Sean Payton to
- 11:23Speaker 2: Dallas rumors. Remember those days, those were fun.
- 11:26Speaker 4: It was all we know. You started them, Sean Payton.
- 11:29Speaker 3: You're putting things out suddenly through the media.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Even then, Well, Gregs, get after shot.
- 11:34Speaker 6: I love the parties. Just getting started here on game
- 11:36Speaker 6: debut coming up.
- 11:37Speaker 2: The Eagles passing game on fire last week.
- 11:39Speaker 6: Don't worry. It wasn't literal. They were just very good.
- 11:42Speaker 6: They got a big rematch with Jackson Dark and the
- 11:44Speaker 6: g Men. Big Blue embarrassed the Birds two weeks ago.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Can they sweep them?
- 11:49Speaker 4: Find out?
- 11:50Speaker 6: Well, we're flipping back on game debut.

- 12:22Speaker 2: conditions apply. Let's look back to Week six the Giants
- 12:26Speaker 2: and the Eagles. Jackson Dart back in MetLife, enjoying the
- 12:31Speaker 2: opportunity on Thursday Night football, Jalen Carter reportedly not playing
- 12:36Speaker 2: because of.
- 12:36Speaker 6: The turf, and here's how the scoring started for the
- 12:39Speaker 6: g Men.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It's a nineteen yard touchdown run by Jackson Dart at
- 12:42Speaker 2: his first hug of the night from Brian day Ball.
- 12:44Speaker 2: As Jalen Hurts and the Eagles saw themselves down ten
- 12:47Speaker 2: in the fourth quarter, Cardile Flott jumps the route in
- 12:50Speaker 2: front of Johan Dotson.
- 12:53Speaker 6: And takes it all the way back. They had a
- 12:54Speaker 6: red zone.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Opportunity that got turned into a red zone opportunity for
- 12:59Speaker 2: the g Men, first interception in three hundred and five
- 13:02Speaker 2: regular season attempts, four hurts, and then Cam Scattabou finishes
- 13:06Speaker 2: it off. That ten point lead grows even farther. His
- 13:10Speaker 2: legend grows as he does a backflip.
- 13:12Speaker 6: He would take his shirt.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Off in the postgame interview and Aj and Devanta not
- 13:16Speaker 2: feeling great about the game.
- 13:17Speaker 6: They've got a chance for a rematch.
- 13:20Speaker 2: As it's time for Seas the Season presented by Caesar
- 13:23Speaker 2: Sportsbook just a couple weeks later. As we're gonna look
- 13:26Speaker 2: at the first touchdown score on It's according to our
- 13:28Speaker 2: friends at Caesar, Saquon and Jalen Hurts leading the way.
- 13:31Speaker 2: There's Cam Scaltabu ahead of AJ Brown and Dallas Goddard.
- 13:35Speaker 2: A lot of birds on that graphic. A big rematch
- 13:39Speaker 2: between the Birds and.
- 13:40Speaker 6: The g Men.
- 13:40Speaker 2: The Giants coming off of the big collapse against the Broncos,
- 13:43Speaker 2: but they could sweep Philly if they get a win.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Do they get it, Cynthia.
- 13:48Speaker 5: They haven't done it since two thousand and seven.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Oh, they're not.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Going to do it here.
- 13:51Speaker 5: I'm twenty eight to nineteen for the Eagles in this matchup.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Let's look at Saquon Barkley this year. Let's take a
- 13:57Speaker 5: really good look at it, because he has had games
- 14:00Speaker 5: with fewer than sixty yards now five times that he
- 14:03Speaker 5: only did it twice in all of last season games.
- 14:06Speaker 5: But when you're looking at the opportunity here now last time, Okay,
- 14:09Speaker 5: not a great outing, we get it. But these outside
- 14:12Speaker 5: rushes are still a great spot to target the Giants
- 14:16Speaker 5: if they used the jumbo package like we saw last week,
- 14:18Speaker 5: which they went back to. That was part of what
- 14:20Speaker 5: was so successful against the blitzing Vikings. They go to
- 14:25Speaker 5: the jumbo package and they're going to say, oh no,
- 14:28Speaker 5: we got to drop back in converage. They're going to
- 14:29Speaker 5: throw it like they did Saquon Barkley, We'll run to
- 14:32Speaker 5: the outside. So I think we see a nice Saquon game.
- 14:34Speaker 2: You got me thinking about those two thousand and seven Giants.
- 14:36Speaker 2: They would go on to win the Super Bowl.
- 14:38Speaker 4: That's right.
- 14:39Speaker 6: And you know what, I'm not taking the Giants to
- 14:41Speaker 6: win this game.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I've got them winning the Eagles, dude, twenty four to seventeen,
- 14:47Speaker 2: just based on what they are able to do on offense.
- 14:50Speaker 2: We saw the confidence from Jalen Hurts in the passing game.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Remember this pass attempt to the Vonza Smith that was
- 14:58Speaker 2: actually Jalen hurts lone deep pass miss against the Giants.
- 15:02Speaker 2: He was five for five against the Minnesota Vikings on
- 15:05Speaker 2: deep pass like attempts.
- 15:06Speaker 6: There's Levonta Smith.
- 15:07Speaker 2: They can do that, they can throw deep and considering
- 15:10Speaker 2: the recent success even when the offense wasn't playing well, Greg, Yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 2: I think they go deep a lot against the Giants
- 15:16Speaker 2: team that has struggled to stop deep pass.
- 15:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I am always wary of picking a team to sweep
- 15:21Speaker 3: a division rival, especially if there's a talent in balance.
- 15:24Speaker 4: And let's just think of who's in this game.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Who's not You mentioned Jalen Carter is back for the Eagles.
- 15:30Speaker 3: You know who's out for the Giants most likely hasn't
- 15:32Speaker 3: been at practice this week. Paulson Adebo and Javon Holland.
- 15:35Speaker 3: That is a big deal because that is their number
- 15:37Speaker 3: one cornerback and potentially their best safety. And it's a
- 15:41Speaker 3: big drop off for this Giant secondary when Deontay Banks,
- 15:44Speaker 3: their former first round pick.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Comes in last week.
- 15:47Speaker 3: That was really when the defense started to fall apart.
- 15:51Speaker 3: And sometimes it's about who is on the field. And
- 15:54Speaker 3: if you think back to that game, Lannon Dickerson, the
- 15:56Speaker 3: great Eagles guard.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Was also not on the field for that game.
- 16:00Speaker 3: He looked as good as he's looked all season last
- 16:02Speaker 3: week and Quinion Mitchell got hurt in that game. He's
- 16:05Speaker 3: healthy now too. So with the Giants secondary, look, they
- 16:08Speaker 3: already struggle. And the Giants pass rush didn't get a
- 16:10Speaker 3: lot of heat last week against a good offensive line.
- 16:13Speaker 3: I don't think they will this week. Egles win easy,
- 16:15Speaker 3: all right.
- 16:16Speaker 2: The season season is brought to you by our friends
- 16:19Speaker 2: at Caesars Sportsbook.
- 16:19Speaker 6: New users can.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Bet one dollar to boost their next twenty bets by
- 16:23Speaker 2: one hundred percent. Must be twenty one or older. See
- 16:25Speaker 2: Caesars dot com slash promos for full terms.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Congratulations to fans of the Baltimore Ravens.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Also fun quarterbacks Lamar Jackson back at practice this week.
- 16:37Speaker 2: The two time MVP missed the last two games with
- 16:39Speaker 2: the hamstring injury. The Ravens would drop both of those games,
- 16:43Speaker 2: one of them significantly, so Lamar's squad coming off of
- 16:46Speaker 2: the buy. They are playing host to a Bears team
- 16:49Speaker 2: that's won four straight games. Baltimore one to five on
- 16:52Speaker 2: the season. Do they get win number two, Cynthia, They.
- 16:55Speaker 5: Do get win number two. I think the margin is closer.
- 16:58Speaker 5: So as of right now, everybody looks like they're playing AH.
- 17:02Speaker 5: Be careful of the injury report. That Baltimore is gonna win,
- 17:05Speaker 5: have a two point win twenty seven twenty five. The
- 17:07Speaker 5: one that matters the most, though, Lamar Jackson. If you
- 17:10Speaker 5: want kind of a thing to think about for the future,
- 17:12Speaker 5: potentially think about him as your MVP. I know right
- 17:15Speaker 5: now Patrick Maholmes is the front runner, but if you
- 17:18Speaker 5: believe that the Ravens could potentially make the playoffs, you
- 17:21Speaker 5: have to also believe that it's because Lamar Jackson is
- 17:23Speaker 5: playing lights out, which he has been doing. Look at
- 17:26Speaker 5: how Grady has been on downfield passes. That's an area
- 17:30Speaker 5: where the Bears have given up Oh, I don't know,
- 17:32Speaker 5: just the second most touchdowns. And if you're looking at
- 17:34Speaker 5: the opportunity with play action, also Lamar chreck and remember
- 17:38Speaker 5: he can also run too, So I just think it'd
- 17:41Speaker 5: be fun. Like if you're looking for something where you
- 17:42Speaker 5: get good value and you're kind of relying on one
- 17:46Speaker 5: of the best players, like, why not look at him
- 17:48Speaker 5: as your MVP. Just a thought, just for something to
- 17:50Speaker 5: think about.
- 17:51Speaker 6: Not just speaking of fun.
- 17:52Speaker 2: If you are a player, a person without a vested
- 17:55Speaker 2: personal interest in this game, it could be fun. The
- 17:57Speaker 2: Bears have all those explosive plays this season, more explosive
- 18:00Speaker 2: runs than anybody else. Ben Johnson doing a great job.
- 18:03Speaker 2: But I will take the Baltimore Ravens here twenty seven
- 18:05Speaker 2: to twenty six in a highest scoring affair where perhaps
- 18:08Speaker 2: I'm wish casting. I understand that there's a possibility of that.
- 18:12Speaker 2: But the blocking up front, not just for Derrick Henry,
- 18:15Speaker 2: can get better. A Ravens team clearly that is getting
- 18:18Speaker 2: stuffed at the line of the scrimmage almost twenty percent
- 18:21Speaker 2: of the time. They are a better running team with
- 18:23Speaker 2: Lamar back, obviously, marginal improvement by the offensive line and
- 18:27Speaker 2: the defense. Maybe they squeeze out a win against one
- 18:31Speaker 2: of the hottest teams in the league, but it is
- 18:33Speaker 2: very frightening because the Bears are on fireway.
- 18:35Speaker 3: You know, Patrick is worried when he just gives the
- 18:38Speaker 3: one point Ravens win for his favorite team.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I think it's gonna be by a little more.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I got the Ravens by four points, and I think
- 18:45Speaker 3: if you go back and you think the Ravens season
- 18:48Speaker 3: is turning around this week, actually go back to Week
- 18:50Speaker 3: six and look at how that defense played against the
- 18:53Speaker 3: Los Angeles Rams, one of the most efficient offenses in
- 18:56Speaker 3: the league. The Ravens held them down to just a
- 18:59Speaker 3: field goal in the first half of that game. They
- 19:01Speaker 3: made some big plays. They seem to solve a few things.
- 19:04Speaker 4: They also got a.
- 19:04Speaker 3: Couple players back, and more of them are coming back
- 19:07Speaker 3: this week.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Let's go through the list.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Brokwan Smith expected to play. Marlon Humphrey is back. Kyle Hamilton,
- 19:13Speaker 3: he was back in that Rams game, helped out big time.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Nate Wiggins has actually been playing great all season. That's
- 19:18Speaker 4: just on the offense. The defensive side. How about Ronnie.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Stanley the left tackle coming back along with Lamar Jackson.
- 19:23Speaker 3: The first six weeks of the season never happened.
- 19:28Speaker 4: One in five. Forget about it.
- 19:29Speaker 3: The season starts now for the Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl.
- 19:32Speaker 3: They were my pick before the season. Here we come,
- 19:34Speaker 3: We start all over.
- 19:35Speaker 6: It's like a game. The trouble with the season is
- 19:38Speaker 6: is cumulative those five.
- 19:39Speaker 4: It doesn't matter, none of it happened. Oh it's gonna matter.
- 19:42Speaker 6: As we go to the math. Let's do that math.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Cynthia Caleb Williams passing for more or less than two
- 19:48Speaker 2: hundred and twenty one yards against what reg Seas doesn't
- 19:50Speaker 2: improved Raven Steeples.
- 19:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's gonna be fewer yards than that
- 19:54Speaker 5: for two reasons. Number one, where the Bears have improved
- 19:57Speaker 5: the most over the past four games and especially the
- 19:59Speaker 5: past two games is in the run game. That's where
- 20:01Speaker 5: Ben Johnson creates these interesting offer tunities. Right, So I
- 20:05Speaker 5: think they're just going to run the ball more often.
- 20:08Speaker 5: Not only will that serve to slow the ball game down,
- 20:11Speaker 5: and I think by the way the Ravens will run
- 20:12Speaker 5: as well, fewer possessions, but I also think that it
- 20:15Speaker 5: will be not as many deep passes. Think of what
- 20:18Speaker 5: Jared Goff does, Think of what happens in those situations.
- 20:21Speaker 5: If they try to blitz all the it's not going
- 20:23Speaker 5: to be necessarily because he runs the ball more than
- 20:25Speaker 5: that's not going to be like a Jared GoF output,
- 20:27Speaker 5: but just fewer yards in that because of the game
- 20:29Speaker 5: plan to leverage the ground.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I also think the Ravens have shown a great ability
- 20:33Speaker 3: to come out of the bus playing well.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yes, they've won a lot of games.
- 20:37Speaker 5: Still going on with my Lamar Jackson situation for MVP.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And they fixed out the problems that they have. Think
- 20:42Speaker 3: about the situation with where Kyle Hamilton was at a
- 20:45Speaker 3: year ago. They've had two weeks to get ready for
- 20:46Speaker 3: this game and it fell under the radar. But Caleb
- 20:49Speaker 3: Williams is coming off one of the worst games of
- 20:51Speaker 3: his career last week. Their passing attack was lost against
- 20:55Speaker 3: the Saints, so I do not trust him on a
- 20:57Speaker 3: week week basis.
- 20:58Speaker 6: All Right, we'll see.
- 20:59Speaker 2: We saw CJ straut look great against the Ravens a
- 21:01Speaker 2: few weeks so still to come there. Despite all the injury,
- 21:04Speaker 2: CNC and the Niners had raced out to a five
- 21:07Speaker 2: and two start.
- 21:07Speaker 6: They got a big matchup down in Houston. Is Kyle
- 21:10Speaker 6: Shanahan squad need to.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Be an Upsett alert?
- 21:13Speaker 6: One of us thinks they do. We'll tell you who
- 21:16Speaker 6: coming up next. On game debut.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Christian McCaffrey has carried the load tonight that he stands
- 21:31Speaker 2: behind Matt Jones.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Jones takes agains, Christian touching up inside back pen leagues.
- 21:36Speaker 4: White plushy pushhape, push eck. They out a man run
- 21:43Speaker 4: up front for the Niners tonight. Huh, touchdown, maybe not
- 21:47Speaker 4: put it away?
- 21:49Speaker 2: San Francisco, It's time for the Reid presented by Microsoft
- 21:53Speaker 2: co Pilot.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Microsoft co Pilot, your.
- 21:55Speaker 2: AI companion for NFL game day and every day we
- 21:58Speaker 2: ask co Pilot for the top three matchups to watch
- 22:01Speaker 2: in the Niners Sexans game.
- 22:03Speaker 6: Stopping cmcnumber one.
- 22:04Speaker 2: The case for every defense to play San Francisco, Mac
- 22:06Speaker 2: Jones gets an aggressive Houston pass rush, and the coaching
- 22:09Speaker 2: connection between Kyle Shanahan and Demico Ryans.
- 22:13Speaker 6: Let's discuss this.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Game a little bit more than Niners shut down the
- 22:17Speaker 2: Falcons last week in Santa Clara. Meanwhile, at two and four,
- 22:19Speaker 2: Houston is in must win mode.
- 22:21Speaker 6: How does this play out? Greg?
- 22:23Speaker 3: I think it plays out like a lot of Texans games,
- 22:25Speaker 3: very low scoring. I have the forty nine Ers defense
- 22:29Speaker 3: really carrying the load here. Twenty to sixteen is what
- 22:33Speaker 3: I like. And it's this no name defense that has
- 22:35Speaker 3: been playing with so much spirit over the last few weeks.
- 22:39Speaker 3: You lose Nick Bosa, you lose Fred Warner, and they
- 22:42Speaker 3: have been absolutely fantastic. Anyways, it is a coaching matchup
- 22:46Speaker 3: that I really love to watch. You also have to
- 22:49Speaker 3: love what Christian McCaffrey has been doing last week on
- 22:52Speaker 3: the ground, they were finally efficient. Like I know, he's
- 22:55Speaker 3: had a lot of volume numbers and he's the most
- 22:57Speaker 3: valuable receiving back in the league, but the way that
- 23:00Speaker 3: they were able to compliment the good defense with an efficient,
- 23:04Speaker 3: funning game, they were getting a lot of more of
- 23:05Speaker 3: those five six seven yard carries.
- 23:08Speaker 4: A week ago.
- 23:09Speaker 6: I'm going with a lower scoring game than you, Greg.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I've got eighteen to thirteen San Francisco winning, which also
- 23:15Speaker 2: resembles the year that it looks like Texans offense comes
- 23:19Speaker 2: from the Niners score goes down a little bit because
- 23:22Speaker 2: of familiator from the staff.
- 23:24Speaker 6: The Texans score maybe like if you take.
- 23:27Speaker 2: The Ravens game out, they've got the third lowest success
- 23:30Speaker 2: rate in the league. I know that Seattle has a
- 23:33Speaker 2: very good defense and they were playing on the road,
- 23:35Speaker 2: but it just looked disjointed, bad, weird decisions from Houston
- 23:39Speaker 2: where I just don't feel comfortable picking them to win
- 23:41Speaker 2: a game at this point, especially not against the five
- 23:44Speaker 2: and two very good despite the injuries forty nine Ers teams.
- 23:47Speaker 5: Cnthia, this is one where my model it makes me
- 23:50Speaker 5: feel like, but I do have Houston winning this game
- 23:54Speaker 5: by two points. Give me that five number twenty one
- 23:58Speaker 5: to nineteen, I will say, Bryce, yeah, exactly.
- 24:01Speaker 6: So they feels about the model Ers.
- 24:03Speaker 5: That's how I feel about it. That's pretty much dead.
- 24:05Speaker 5: I feel dead. But part of it is because Bryce
- 24:07Speaker 5: hoff is no longer going to be playing in this
- 24:09Speaker 5: game for the San Francisco defense, And part of it
- 24:11Speaker 5: is because Jake Brendle is also not there. And you
- 24:13Speaker 5: know what happens when your old line gets not as
- 24:16Speaker 5: good as normal.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Cooper cup throws the pass for an interception.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Yep, Cooper Cuple throw the pass for the somehow Cooper
- 24:24Speaker 5: Couple get his way all the way traded to Houston
- 24:27Speaker 5: in time to throw a pick against them. But look,
- 24:30Speaker 5: it's really the ability of this Texans defense to exact pressure.
- 24:34Speaker 5: There are just tipping points that happen when it comes
- 24:36Speaker 5: to injuries. I thought we were already there with the Niners,
- 24:39Speaker 5: but Christian McCaffrey in is one hundred and eighty five
- 24:41Speaker 5: touches absolutely bananas. But in this matchup, that defense just
- 24:45Speaker 5: gives Houston a slight edge, especially now that no Brayce hoof.
- 24:50Speaker 5: You have to admit that's got to be that's hard
- 24:52Speaker 5: to overcome. Yeah, eventually, Nick Bosa already.
- 24:56Speaker 6: Eventually the amount of injury.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Without Fred Warner, You guys, maybe when you play like
- 25:00Speaker 3: a real offense that wasn't eighteen thirteen.
- 25:04Speaker 5: If he has a ton of time to work with.
- 25:06Speaker 5: We've seen CJ. Stroud be effective.
- 25:08Speaker 4: He's great. It's everything else.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a lot going on.
- 25:12Speaker 2: The game is expected to be one of the lowest
- 25:13Speaker 2: scoring fine of the weekend.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Week helped me out here, Houston people.
- 25:16Speaker 6: Yeah, we'll see if that number comes through.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Let's check out the rest of the projected lowest scoring totals.
- 25:21Speaker 2: According to our friends at Caesars, it's like that old
- 25:24Speaker 2: Baker Mayfield commercial where he's staying there. The Browns live
- 25:27Speaker 2: on this particular graphic. They're there with the Patriots.
- 25:31Speaker 5: Defense.
- 25:31Speaker 6: The total is forty and a half. Exam in the
- 25:34Speaker 6: offensive so much.
- 25:36Speaker 2: That's Finns, Falcons, Packers, Steelers at forty five and a half.
- 25:41Speaker 2: As we get to the it's time for the two
- 25:43Speaker 2: minute drill, presented by the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit Card.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Let's make some quick picks here. In week eight, the
- 25:49Speaker 2: Bucks and Saints in the five fourth. Tampa's coming off
- 25:52Speaker 2: a disappointing loss in the Lions on Monday night.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Does Baker's squad announce back?
- 25:56Speaker 3: Greg, I'm going to New Orleans this weekend and they
- 25:59Speaker 3: are going to have a spirited effort in a one
- 26:01Speaker 3: point loss, So you know they're christ We lost four
- 26:03Speaker 3: and a half. Yeah, the Bucks are gonna win because
- 26:06Speaker 3: only one wide receiver, only one player in this game
- 26:09Speaker 3: is under one hundred and fifty pounds. Baker Mayfield revealed
- 26:13Speaker 3: that Tedes Johnson, who has been a complete receiver across
- 26:17Speaker 3: the field, great hands, explosive, is playing at one hundred
- 26:21Speaker 3: and forty two pounds.
- 26:22Speaker 4: I feel like this is.
- 26:23Speaker 3: One of the most underrated stories in all of sports.
- 26:27Speaker 3: He is breaking the boundary. Everyone wants to go crazy
- 26:29Speaker 3: about Victor Webbin Yama. Wow, a guy that big doing
- 26:33Speaker 3: things we've never seen. We have never seen one hundred
- 26:35Speaker 3: and forty two pounds man putting up touchdowns in the NFL.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Let's go Ted Johnson, just letting all the skinny guys
- 26:42Speaker 3: out there have a little bit of a dream.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yeah, shout out to the folks who are not dipping
- 26:46Speaker 2: the scales in any capacity.
- 26:49Speaker 6: You know, he's dipping the scales for the team. The
- 26:51Speaker 6: red hot Browns. Not the red hot Browns. The Patriots
- 26:54Speaker 6: are red hot. New England's won four straight. Did they
- 26:56Speaker 6: may get five? In Roal Cynthia against the Cleveland Browns.
- 26:58Speaker 4: They do.
- 26:59Speaker 5: But just my six points. I don't even know how
- 27:02Speaker 5: to deal with this right now because thinking about all
- 27:05Speaker 5: of the things Greg said. But I have a six
- 27:06Speaker 5: point win because of Drake May. Because Drake May is
- 27:09Speaker 5: doing things through the air that he almost shouldn't be.
- 27:12Speaker 5: If you look at just his tight window situation, he
- 27:14Speaker 5: has the highest completion percentage on tight window passes. So
- 27:18Speaker 5: when the receiver has one yard or less of separation,
- 27:21Speaker 5: it's sixty two point five percent. That's fourteen and a
- 27:23Speaker 5: half percentage points higher than the next closest guy.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Wow.
- 27:26Speaker 5: So despite how great this Cleveland defense is, and it
- 27:30Speaker 5: absolutely is, that just shouldn't be happening, and yet it
- 27:33Speaker 5: still is. So I think Drake May gives them in.
- 27:36Speaker 5: She's just that army.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you confident, And Greg and I have the same
- 27:39Speaker 2: exact score that Brown's defense scariness here.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Oh we obviously explained.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Oh number, we're having it well under that we win.
- 27:47Speaker 5: That's interesting.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Oh, none of the Bills and Panthers Andy Dalton expected
- 27:50Speaker 2: to start for the injured Bryce Young.
- 27:51Speaker 6: Buffalo has lost to in a row.
- 27:53Speaker 2: But I think they win a close one here by
- 27:55Speaker 2: a score of nineteen to seventeen, the Panthers defense vastly
- 27:58Speaker 2: improved and the Bills have had some trouble separating on offense.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Me And while the Bills defense is getting too much
- 28:05Speaker 2: separation when it comes to the opposing running backs, and
- 28:07Speaker 2: they play one of the more persistent rushing attacks in
- 28:11Speaker 2: the league, the Bills giving up a higher percentage of
- 28:13Speaker 2: explosive runs than anyone. I think that's enough for the
- 28:18Speaker 2: Andy Dalton led Panthers to keep this one a little
- 28:21Speaker 2: bit closer when we come back. Nobody wants to play
- 28:23Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs right now. They've won four
- 28:26Speaker 2: of their last five. They've got Marcus Mariota coming in
- 28:30Speaker 2: on Monday night. Mike the backup provide a new and
- 28:33Speaker 2: different opportunity to attack KC.
- 28:37Speaker 6: We'll see if somebody.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Makes that case.
- 28:38Speaker 6: When we come back on game debut. They bring it
- 28:52Speaker 6: back around and they toss it to him.
- 28:54Speaker 5: It's Rice cutting too, and he's in the ze for
- 28:57Speaker 5: a touchdown. Mahomes down the middle and hey Wood were
- 29:04Speaker 5: the touchdown.
- 29:10Speaker 6: Book's leftos.
- 29:11Speaker 7: Then it has couched by Rice for a second touchdown.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Of the game. This is why they're so difficult.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Everybody's gotta eat.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Some for Once Ahead, presented by Credit One Bank, The
- 29:28Speaker 2: Commanders and Chiefs Monday Night in Arrowhead. Jaden Daniels is
- 29:31Speaker 2: out with a hamstring injury, so Marcus Mariota will start.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Does Mariota find a way to keep it close?
- 29:37Speaker 5: Cynthia to seventeen in the City, it's been closer two touchdowns.
- 29:43Speaker 5: It's not a pick against Washington or Mariota for that matter.
- 29:48Speaker 5: It's a pick for what Patrick Mahomes has been able
- 29:50Speaker 5: to do. And what we're seeing now is just him
- 29:53Speaker 5: dealing to so many different receivers. They finally have their guys,
- 29:59Speaker 5: like we're without Rashid Rice to begin the season, if
- 30:02Speaker 5: you're Worthy for some points too, and now they're just
- 30:04Speaker 5: doing a lot of different things. But I want to
- 30:06Speaker 5: point out how they can spread the field horizontally now
- 30:09Speaker 5: in addition to vertically. So you've got speed with Worthy,
- 30:12Speaker 5: but then you have Juju smiths Uss You're just like
- 30:14Speaker 5: kind of everywhere and Hollywood Brown like kind of everywhere else.
- 30:17Speaker 5: So ultimately you're not only seeing things vertically enhanced for them,
- 30:21Speaker 5: but also horizontally, so they're getting to play true Patrick
- 30:25Speaker 5: Mahomes style football, which is like I don't know whose
- 30:28Speaker 5: lead receiver is going to be. It doesn't matter, but
- 30:30Speaker 5: you just know it's going to be deadly from literally
- 30:32Speaker 5: any arm angle.
- 30:33Speaker 4: You know who is loving this traviss.
- 30:35Speaker 5: My mom, oh my mom my mom loves it.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Like Travis Kelce, who just you know, is watching all
- 30:40Speaker 3: these speed receivers throw Taekwon Thornton in and then he
- 30:42Speaker 3: has all this open space. Who else loves it is
- 30:45Speaker 3: Chris Jones. Like in this Chiefs defense, because they're never
- 30:48Speaker 3: on the field. They played about twenty to thirty snaps
- 30:50Speaker 3: last week. You watched Kelsey especially last week in that
- 30:53Speaker 3: game where you did see Brown receive Rice and Xavier
- 30:56Speaker 3: Worthy on the field for the first time, and he
- 30:58Speaker 3: just had so much open space. Now opposing defenses are
- 31:02Speaker 3: having to pick their poison, and I think it's just like, okay,
- 31:05Speaker 3: we'll just let Travis kelcey go down the field. And
- 31:07Speaker 3: then you think about this matchup in particular, the Washington
- 31:10Speaker 3: Commanders linebackers, Bobby Wagner in particular, not great in coverage,
- 31:15Speaker 3: not great against opposing tight ends. And so I think
- 31:18Speaker 3: you're going to see Travis Kelce get back to the
- 31:21Speaker 3: production that used to have him getting picked so high
- 31:24Speaker 3: in fantasy drafts.
- 31:25Speaker 4: He could be that dude the rest of the season.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Yeah, the Chiefs offense fully operational. I know, folks, myself
- 31:30Speaker 2: included concerns about the ability to run the ball. Ultimately
- 31:33Speaker 2: doesn't matter. They're still gonna score points. I got a
- 31:35Speaker 2: win in twenty eight to seventeen, but o't on the
- 31:37Speaker 2: other side. Yes, memus away you spectacular children. But I
- 31:41Speaker 2: am starting to feel a scary familiar feeling. And I
- 31:44Speaker 2: might need you guys to talk back off the ledge
- 31:46Speaker 2: here because I'm thinking about the old Kingsbury cliff. Oh
- 31:50Speaker 2: you lackis in Arizona. There was concerns last year about it.
- 31:54Speaker 2: There's questions that Dan Quinn as the Commander's offense started
- 31:57Speaker 2: slowing down. We think about how the second half of
- 31:59Speaker 2: those seasons went, especially once things ended. Yes, I know
- 32:03Speaker 2: there were a couple of seasons where Kyler got hurt.
- 32:06Speaker 6: But it's just am I wrong to be concerned.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I'm more worried about the cliff. The defense is falling
- 32:12Speaker 3: off because the offense. Jayden hasn't been healthy, the receivers
- 32:16Speaker 3: haven't been healthy, but the defense. Sometimes age can be
- 32:20Speaker 3: a cliff, and that is one of the oldest defenses.
- 32:22Speaker 4: In the league.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Is there some like Patrick Mahomes reverse Jinx Mode, kings Bear.
- 32:27Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 32:28Speaker 5: I'm just thinking maybe we need to go back to college.
- 32:30Speaker 5: I don't know, maybe we're sport.
- 32:31Speaker 3: It's a revenge game against Mariota for that time he
- 32:35Speaker 3: took the Chiefs out of the playoffs by throwing a
- 32:37Speaker 3: touchdown to himself.
- 32:38Speaker 6: So himself.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Speaking of the Chiefs sailing into Week one, they had
- 32:41Speaker 2: the fourth best odds to win the Super Bowl. Now
- 32:43Speaker 2: they're the favorites because everybody doubted and disrespected them, and
- 32:47Speaker 2: as the super Bowl favorites, these are the week one
- 32:50Speaker 2: versus Week eight Super Bowl odd To see the change
- 32:52Speaker 2: there is the Ravens about a significant fall off, the
- 32:55Speaker 2: Chiefs going up, as well as those Detroit Lions on
- 32:59Speaker 2: their way. It's time for make the case the fields.
- 33:02Speaker 2: The Ravens, the Eagles were the preseasons, but.
- 33:04Speaker 6: That's why we play the games.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Greg Josh Allen's Bills have shown some weaknesses, make the
- 33:08Speaker 2: case for why they can still win it all.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Because the team that looks the best in Week seven
- 33:15Speaker 3: is almost never the team and the team that sometimes
- 33:18Speaker 3: you never see coming, like the twenty three Chiefs, for instance,
- 33:21Speaker 3: is the one that breaks through and gets a Super Bowl.
- 33:25Speaker 3: This Josh Allen team with a great offensive line like
- 33:29Speaker 3: the twenty two Chiefs, like the twenty three Chiefs. That's
- 33:32Speaker 3: the number one recipe to go win a Super Bowl.
- 33:35Speaker 3: A great offensive line and a transcendent quarterback. The defensive
- 33:40Speaker 3: problems are real, but they have a running game. And
- 33:43Speaker 3: what I've seen from Sean McDermott and Brandon Bean over
- 33:46Speaker 3: the years is that they self diagnose and they improve
- 33:50Speaker 3: on defense very often throughout the course of the season.
- 33:52Speaker 3: So this Bill team has lulls very often during regular season,
- 33:56Speaker 3: but they figure it out. And more than anything, my
- 33:58Speaker 3: argument is built on the fact that they play in
- 34:00Speaker 3: the American Football Conference. I know the Chiefs are there
- 34:03Speaker 3: and they're the bugaboo, but like it is not nearly
- 34:05Speaker 3: as deep. I do not think it's going to be
- 34:07Speaker 3: as big a gauntlet to get through the AFC.
- 34:09Speaker 2: All right, So let's go to the NFC because Cinthy,
- 34:11Speaker 2: you originally picked the Eagles to make it back into the.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Big right, but I picked the Bills to win. Just
- 34:15Speaker 5: want to be clear, But.
- 34:16Speaker 2: Let's make the case for the Eagles getting back to
- 34:18Speaker 2: the Super.
- 34:19Speaker 6: Bowl once again.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Well, first of all, if you looked at that cute
- 34:21Speaker 5: little board that we put up there, the number was
- 34:24Speaker 5: very tasty for them as well, just so we're clear
- 34:27Speaker 5: on that. But I'm looking at everything that's going on
- 34:30Speaker 5: with this offense and despite pretty much every Eagles fan
- 34:33Speaker 5: I know want and Kevin Botulo out of their situation,
- 34:37Speaker 5: I don't think the players do. I mean, if you
- 34:38Speaker 5: saw what happened last week against the Vikings, the Vikings
- 34:42Speaker 5: were like, we will not let Saquon Barkley win this game.
- 34:45Speaker 5: We will not let him because we're going to challenge
- 34:47Speaker 5: Jalen Hurts to throw it deep to Devontae Smith, to
- 34:50Speaker 5: AJ Brown, maybe to Javonte Smith again. And you know
- 34:52Speaker 5: what happened.
- 34:53Speaker 6: They didn't miss.
- 34:54Speaker 5: He didn't miss. He two hundred and fifteen yards, his
- 34:57Speaker 5: most undep passes in his career in a game. So
- 35:00Speaker 5: I think this offense will get even better as a
- 35:03Speaker 5: season goes on. It's not dissimilar to last season for me.
- 35:06Speaker 5: And you made the case about the AFC. To me,
- 35:09Speaker 5: I'm looking at the NFC and saying the value of
- 35:11Speaker 5: that soul buy is going to be so valuable. And
- 35:14Speaker 5: I think the fact that the Eagles are most likely
- 35:17Speaker 5: to get. That buy drives them to have better chances
- 35:20Speaker 5: to get to and then you know, ultimately potentially win
- 35:22Speaker 5: the Super Bowl.
- 35:23Speaker 2: For me, the third year in a row, I picked
- 35:25Speaker 2: the Baltimore Ravens to win the Super Bowl. Did I
- 35:27Speaker 2: foresee them starting the season at one in five? No,
- 35:29Speaker 2: A lot of people didn't the overall favorite. But they
- 35:32Speaker 2: do have a viable path to win it all. They
- 35:35Speaker 2: have the twenty third oh easiest remaining schedule and thanks
- 35:38Speaker 2: to Joe Flacco, picked up a half game full of
- 35:40Speaker 2: Steelers during the bye.
- 35:42Speaker 6: And look at this. This is Lamar Jackson passing the
- 35:45Speaker 6: ball on play action this season. You think it's good.
- 35:47Speaker 2: He's completing ninety one percent of his passes when the
- 35:51Speaker 2: Baltimore Ravens run play action.
- 35:53Speaker 6: Cynthia's making a case for the win the MVP. I
- 35:55Speaker 6: think you can make that kank you from the Jackson
- 35:58Speaker 6: to win the MVP. He is an exceedingly valuable player.
- 36:01Speaker 2: And if they get something something figured out on the
- 36:05Speaker 2: offensive line and on defense, yeah, I don't think it's
- 36:08Speaker 2: out of the rebel possibility they could get back.
- 36:10Speaker 5: In contention, I don't get a chance to use my
- 36:12Speaker 5: banker words a lot anymore. But by the dip, by
- 36:15Speaker 5: the dip, let's figure it out.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Our friend out of rank would always say that that
- 36:21Speaker 2: used to be his job when he was working for
- 36:22Speaker 2: a minor league baseball team. Still to come, Danny Dimes
- 36:26Speaker 2: and the Colts offense is humming in about a thousand horsepower.
- 36:29Speaker 2: No chance they stumble against the Titans, right right.
- 36:33Speaker 6: Our picks for Titans, Colts.
- 36:35Speaker 4: And the rest.
- 36:36Speaker 2: So the weekend Slave coming up next on game debut.
- 36:51Speaker 6: He has a hat trick. Maphew's got fine running around.
- 36:56Speaker 6: I'm fooling around burning the ground.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Excitement's got a hole on the Prefshie Rush in easy
- 37:03Speaker 2: Mac made weird.
- 37:05Speaker 6: Should I do a free?
- 37:08Speaker 2: There's Chasey Suzy Chance.
- 37:12Speaker 6: Viition is asc This is a victory.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Slaverer, Doctor Iant Denver scores thirty three.
- 37:28Speaker 6: Points in the fourth quarter.
- 37:30Speaker 4: This is a say of victory.
- 37:36Speaker 2: The NFL International Games continue on NFL Network on November ninth,
- 37:40Speaker 2: with two final games in new cities across Europe. It's
- 37:43Speaker 2: the Falcons and Colts in Berlin and the Commanders.

- 37:50Speaker 6: Morning Football only on NFL Network, also streaming with NFL Plus.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Subscription required for NFL Plus, visit plus dot NFL dot.
- 37:57Speaker 4: Com for terms.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Time for quick picks here on game debut, will go
- 38:02Speaker 2: to the AFC South, the Titans and the Cold And
- 38:04Speaker 2: he lit up the Chargers for thirty eight points last week.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Do they put up a fifty pointer on the division
- 38:10Speaker 2: rival greug No?
- 38:10Speaker 3: Another forty burger for the second time this season against
- 38:13Speaker 3: this same team, the Tennessee Titans, because they got all
- 38:15Speaker 3: their offensive weapons. Josh Downs is back this week. Alec
- 38:19Speaker 3: Pierce came back last week. I love the volume. This
- 38:21Speaker 3: is Patrick's dude, But I get to talk.
- 38:23Speaker 4: About him this week. Everyone should be talking about him.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Haven't you ever just like looked at old Pro football
- 38:29Speaker 3: reference pages and thought that was a cool sport back
- 38:32Speaker 3: when Lance Alworth was catching like thirty five passes for
- 38:36Speaker 3: nine hundred yards. Wow, what must football look like a
- 38:39Speaker 3: Raymond Berry forty catches for eight hundred and fifty yards.
- 38:42Speaker 3: That's what Alec Pierce is doing week after week. He's
- 38:45Speaker 3: not the leader in yards per catch this year, but
- 38:47Speaker 3: he's still at like twenty yards per catch.
- 38:50Speaker 4: He's old school. He's a deep threat.
- 38:52Speaker 5: I thought you didn't like divisional matchups in a rematch.
- 38:55Speaker 3: To swite, don't try to use the words I said
- 38:58Speaker 3: earlier today on our NFL Daily podcast where we have
- 39:01Speaker 3: this show too. I said it here too. Get the sweep.
- 39:04Speaker 3: It's tough to blow. But this is a unique case
- 39:06Speaker 3: and it's the worst team in the league against the best.
- 39:08Speaker 5: Jillie Weeks, we all kind of agree, and.
- 39:10Speaker 2: More targets for Alec Pears is why he's not leading
- 39:12Speaker 2: in yards for catch it any more.
- 39:13Speaker 4: He's still nineteen point eight. That's amazing.
- 39:16Speaker 2: It's big. He's number two. He's all the way down
- 39:17Speaker 2: to number two, all the way. Dolphins and Falcons in Atlanta.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Great vibes coming out of Miami lately, Cynthia, what happens
- 39:23Speaker 2: in the.
- 39:23Speaker 5: Football Well, but Jean Robinson happens in the football game,
- 39:26Speaker 5: and eight point win is what I have in this matchup.
- 39:29Speaker 5: It could be even bigger, but all you need is
- 39:31Speaker 5: to make it eight.
- 39:32Speaker 4: There you go.
- 39:32Speaker 5: Then it kind of tells you everything you need to know.
- 39:34Speaker 5: But the way Jon Robinson has been handling defensive mayhem
- 39:39Speaker 5: has been really, really spectacular. If you look at his
- 39:42Speaker 5: ability to just diagnose any flaw in a defense and
- 39:47Speaker 5: exploit it. That's why you're watching all this Bills fill right,
- 39:50Speaker 5: it was just a massive In an alternate universe, He's
- 39:53Speaker 5: probably still running on a Bill's defense. It's gonna do
- 39:56Speaker 5: the same thing against the Miami defense that has been
- 39:59Speaker 5: extremely vulnerable to their run. So Fijon, Fijon, Blomore, bes On,
- 40:04Speaker 5: whichever you want to call it, Bijeon Bejeon all of
- 40:06Speaker 5: it for him this week.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yeah, probably some Tyler ELL's here as well.
- 40:10Speaker 6: In that game.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Let's go to the Jets and Bengals in Cincinnati. Joe
- 40:13Speaker 2: Flacco revenge game of a possible five. Joe Flacco some
- 40:16Speaker 2: revenge games. I think he gets it.
- 40:18Speaker 6: In this one. The Bengals went it twenty three.
- 40:20Speaker 2: To eleven, and we get to see more of Joe
- 40:23Speaker 2: Flacco operating.
- 40:24Speaker 6: Under center, like this pass to T Higgins.
- 40:26Speaker 2: They were really successful when they did it, and I
- 40:28Speaker 2: think that success allowed them to be more successful in
- 40:30Speaker 2: the shotgun as well. He started two games this season
- 40:33Speaker 2: for Cincinnati. He has two positive EPA.
- 40:36Speaker 6: Games this season.
- 40:37Speaker 2: That's infinitely more than the zero that he had in Cleveland.
- 40:41Speaker 6: Joe Flacco looks great.
- 40:43Speaker 2: He's having fun, Like Candid conversations about eating by himself
- 40:47Speaker 2: and restaurants.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Just all the lands are coming up Flacco.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Right now, guys shout out to the total lack of
- 40:52Speaker 3: effort on that first t Higgins touchdowns by the Steelers.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Secondary.
- 40:56Speaker 3: Wow, something to watch for, just something to think about.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Maybe coming up and write this down.
- 41:01Speaker 6: Greg is putting the microscope. He's getting in deep on that.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Steelers keep jogging over there watching him go in. I'm sure,
- 41:08Speaker 3: I'm sure they talked about it.
- 41:09Speaker 4: I am sure that.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Let's go pro Joe. We love Joe. That one positive note.
- 41:14Speaker 6: We come back. It's our favorite time of the weekest
- 41:17Speaker 6: time for write this down.
- 41:18Speaker 2: We're gonna you our favorite player props for the weekend.
- 41:21Speaker 6: Greg has a real banger. In fact, he just tastes it.
- 41:25Speaker 6: He's gonna say a team's not trying hard.
- 41:29Speaker 4: On that play. They were not trying hard, not trying
- 41:32Speaker 4: hard enough.
- 41:34Speaker 6: We're back in NFL Game Day morning is back. Jordan
- 41:37Speaker 6: rich Eisen, Kurt Warner, Cynthia Freeland.
- 41:39Speaker 2: And the rest of the team as they get you
- 41:41Speaker 2: ready for kickoff. Kyle Brant sits down with Baker Mayfield
- 41:44Speaker 2: as he looks to get back in the win column.
- 41:46Speaker 6: Plus our Trick or Treat Halloween segment.
- 41:49Speaker 4: The crew.
- 41:49Speaker 2: The crew separates the contenders from the pretenders.
- 41:53Speaker 6: That's Sunday, nine am Eastern on NFL Network. I love
- 41:57Speaker 6: all those upper torsos there.
- 41:58Speaker 5: On that glad to find out what we're talking about.
- 42:00Speaker 5: I don't know about this church treat segment.
- 42:02Speaker 6: Okay, ready for it.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Okay write that down the sound for these folks to
- 42:06Speaker 2: write down our player prop oadictions for a week eight.
- 42:09Speaker 6: Start us off, Greg, I know you're excited.
- 42:10Speaker 3: I'm on a one game winning streak after Ladnaconki.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Went a yard and a half over for me.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Sometimes you feel really confident in a particular side, in
- 42:17Speaker 3: a particular team. I think the Green Bay Packers go
- 42:20Speaker 3: over twenty three and a half point I got on
- 42:24Speaker 3: the Steelers. It's not really about the effort. It's more
- 42:27Speaker 3: about the age in the secondary and the mismatches in
- 42:30Speaker 3: terms of the offensive innovation Matt Leclair is going to
- 42:34Speaker 3: bring to the table against Mike Tomlin and this defense.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I think it's a great offensive day for the Packers.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Way over twenty three and a half. They might do thirty.
- 42:41Speaker 3: If you can make an alternate universe.
- 42:43Speaker 5: Line, well, I'm gonna go with the National tight End
- 42:45Speaker 5: Day theme and talk about Tyler Warren, who has the
- 42:47Speaker 5: most receiving yards among all tight ends, not just rookies.
- 42:50Speaker 5: I'm not sure if he was even born for the
- 42:52Speaker 5: first National tight End just kidding. In story history, he
- 42:55Speaker 5: was there, so I think he's gonna end up in
- 42:57Speaker 5: the end zone in this one against the Titans.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Yeah, the National Titan Day never really discussed, and we
- 43:04Speaker 2: won't hear it discussed on Sunday, but I do.
- 43:06Speaker 6: Think I have a tight end having a successful day.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Evan Ingram getting more than thirty receiving yards against the
- 43:13Speaker 2: Dallas Cowboys. I know Greg hears me in his head
- 43:16Speaker 2: anytime we talk about a number, saying that that number
- 43:18Speaker 2: is encouraged to get action.
- 43:20Speaker 6: Well, they got me.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Thirty number feels very low against this Evra flu s
- 43:25Speaker 2: led defense that I know has some positivity coming off
- 43:28Speaker 2: of last week. I don't know if they keep evaning
- 43:30Speaker 2: under thirty yards. And thanks for spending thirty or so
- 43:33Speaker 2: minutes with us. For Cynthia Freeland and Greg Rosenhal, I'm
- 43:36Speaker 2: Patrick Claibon.
- 43:37Speaker 6: Thank you for watching game debut.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Enjoy the games this week and we'll see you next week.
