- 0:03Speaker 1: YouTube wake up.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Good next.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Kicking off your day in the best way. It's Sonia
- 0:10Speaker 2: and Joakim on the shock circuit. Good morning. It's officially Friday. Yay!
- 0:16Speaker 2: The weekend is here. I'm so happy. Well, here's hoping
- 0:20Speaker 2: you had a fantastic last few days and, well, it's
- 0:22Speaker 2: your final chance to walk away with Leibe concert tickets.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Please make sure you stay tuned. Singapore's
- 0:28Speaker 2: number one hit
- 0:29Speaker 1: music station.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Thanks for joining us this morning. Once again, to the
- 0:36Speaker 2: weather gods, can you stop picking this kind of timing
- 0:40Speaker 2: to rain? Because coming to work while it's pouring is,
- 0:44Speaker 2: is very
- 0:45Speaker 2: challenging.
- 0:46Speaker 1: So I'm guessing it's pouring at the east side of Singapore,
- 0:48Speaker 2: east, central, you know, everywhere
- 0:51Speaker 1: because when I left my area of Bishan, it was drizzling.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But as I drove towards or rather as my my
- 0:58Speaker 1: my taxi drove towards the one North area, it was
- 1:01Speaker 1: getting heavier. The ground was wet, the usual stretch of
- 1:03Speaker 1: Adam Road always gives me anxiety. So if you're driving
- 1:07Speaker 1: down the Adam Road bridge, please make sure you drive safely.
- 1:13Speaker 2: A slope situation, right, isn't it? And then you
- 1:15Speaker 1: skids,
- 1:21Speaker 2: OK, OK, yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Yeah, just, and you know what, I just get extra paranoid, man.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Like I don't know why, right? Every time it rains
- 1:29Speaker 2: and I'm driving.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I somehow think of my driving instructor back then. did
- 1:36Speaker 2: he or she? I mean, during the exam and stuff,
- 1:39Speaker 2: like both the return and the practical, they're like, oh,
- 1:40Speaker 2: you know, you can't just let it freewheel, especially when
- 1:44Speaker 2: it's wet, of course you will skid. But some people
- 1:46Speaker 2: like just take their foot off.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Accelerator or or they're not standing by on the brake,
- 1:50Speaker 2: you know what I mean? People do that, by the way,
- 1:53Speaker 2: so yeah, it's not uncommon.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's
- 1:56Speaker 1: scary, but please drive extra safe today on your Friday morning.
- 2:00Speaker 1: When we come back though on the shock circuit, thank
- 2:02Speaker 1: you very much for covering the fort yesterday. Uh, guess
- 2:05Speaker 1: who had a terrible migraine?
- 2:07Speaker 2: I told the story already, don't worry, so you don't
- 2:08Speaker 2: need to repeat it.
- 2:10Speaker 1: When
- 2:10Speaker 1: I tried to explain it to my mom.
- 2:12Speaker 1: She just made me laugh after face palming. Found myself
- 2:17Speaker 1: asking the exact same question to my mom yesterday. So again,
- 2:22Speaker 1: yesterday wasn't away. I wasn't around because of a terrible migraine,
- 2:25Speaker 1: needed to rest, and morning when I woke up to
- 2:29Speaker 1: tell my mom, oh mom, uh, I was filming something
- 2:33Speaker 1: for CNA under the hot sun for quite long hours yesterday,
- 2:36Speaker 1: so I'm not going to her because I had a
- 2:38Speaker 1: I have a migraine.
- 2:40Speaker 1: My mother nods. Oh, OK, so it's for migrant workers.
- 2:44Speaker 2: What? She doesn't know what migraine is.
- 2:46Speaker 1: No, I think she misheard me. I was like, Mommy,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I said migraine, not filming for migrant workers.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Oh,
- 2:52Speaker 1: she
- 2:52Speaker 2: thought you were filming something with them,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and I was telling her while I was still having
- 2:56Speaker 1: that throbbing pain, right? And she goes, Oh, she laughs
- 3:01Speaker 2: and then proceeds to fade out.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Yes, proceeds to do her own thing.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah, she probably like just take Panadol lah, son.
- 3:08Speaker 1: No, no, it's the kind of thing where you need electrolytes,
- 3:11Speaker 1: Panadol as well.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Well, Panadol helps immediately if you want pain relief and
- 3:15Speaker 2: then yeah, electrolytes because you have to rehydrate, but I
- 3:18Speaker 2: think the hydration should come during your shoot.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yes,
- 3:21Speaker 2: it
- 3:22Speaker 1: should.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it will help you a lot,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I think not only when
- 3:24Speaker 1: you feel it, right.
- 3:27Speaker 1: If anyone's out there doing sports or, you know, walking
- 3:29Speaker 1: under the hot sun, if it gets really hot and
- 3:31Speaker 1: humid here in Singapore, please be extra careful and hydrate
- 3:34Speaker 1: yourselves well. Hello.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Just wanted to ask you a question, OK. Here we go.
- 3:39Speaker 2: When was the last time you read a book? Hello.
- 3:43Speaker 2: When was the last time you read a book? Like
- 3:45Speaker 2: completed it. No, no, no, it's, it's not meant because
- 3:48Speaker 2: I know that.
- 3:49Speaker 2: You know, habits have changed over the years. Although, strangely enough,
- 3:53Speaker 2: book clubs are making a return or a comeback for
- 3:56Speaker 2: some reason. I'm not sure whether it was because like
- 3:59Speaker 2: during COVID, people started picking up reading again for entertainment,
- 4:01Speaker 2: but when was the last time you completed a
- 4:03Speaker 2: book?
- 4:03Speaker 1: So I don't know if you remember, I told you
- 4:05Speaker 1: that this year I try to exercise maybe 20 pages
- 4:09Speaker 1: of a book before I sleep. I have been doing that,
- 4:12Speaker 1: but this book is
- 4:13Speaker 1: Very long. It's actually the albatross file.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Oh, so it puts you to sleep.
- 4:18Speaker 1: No, no, I, I'll read 20 pages and I'll get
- 4:20Speaker 1: to maybe say a certain chapter, then I'll put it
- 4:22Speaker 1: aside and go to sleep and do the same for tomorrow.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Reading before bed is a great way to like calm
- 4:27Speaker 2: your mind down, right? So maybe that's why you've been
- 4:29Speaker 2: sleeping better recently.
- 4:31Speaker 1: A little bit here and there. OK. I mean, I'm
- 4:34Speaker 1: surprised that it takes the story of Singapore.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Separation from Malaysia to put me to sleep properly. But,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but yeah, I've been reading, it's actually very
- 4:42Speaker 1: insightful. I mean, but
- 4:43Speaker 2: whatever works. I get your mind to calm down's number
- 4:46Speaker 2: one hit music station. Sonia and Joakim here with you.
- 4:49Speaker 2: We're about 10 minutes away from opening up phone lines
- 4:52Speaker 2: to really wake you up this morning, and I feel
- 4:54Speaker 2: like today you need it more than ever. Not only
- 4:56Speaker 2: is it a Friday, you're already in holiday mood, right?
- 5:00Speaker 2: It might be raining in your area or looking extremely
- 5:02Speaker 2: cloudy or windy, which will make it really hard for
- 5:05Speaker 2: you to, you know, just wake up to go to
- 5:07Speaker 2: school or work.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm not too sure when this happened, but I know
- 5:10Speaker 1: it's national schools in Singapore. I want to say congratulations
- 5:14Speaker 1: to St. Andrews. They won the rugby B division.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I mean, of
- 5:17Speaker 1: course, the, the rivalry between St. Andrews and ACS
- 5:20Speaker 2: is real, real, yeah, yeah, because they're both quite strong, right? rugby, so.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Um, I remember years ago, I did, like I was
- 5:28Speaker 2: filming something for Channel 5 and they featured the Saint
- 5:30Speaker 2: Andrew's rugby team. So I had to go down, I
- 5:33Speaker 2: got to see the field and like the training. It
- 5:34Speaker 2: was really cool, like, because I guess back in school I,
- 5:37Speaker 2: I wasn't part of any sports.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Did they make you play the sport?
- 5:41Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, I didn't, didn't fly. I'll be
- 5:44Speaker 2: the ball. Is that they call it a ball, right?
- 5:47Speaker 2: There's no special.
- 5:48Speaker 2: term for it.
- 5:49Speaker 1: OK, it's a ball.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Anyway, um, it's funny because yesterday while you were not here,
- 5:52Speaker 2: Saint Andrew's Junior boy actually called me. Yeah, yeah. So
- 5:56Speaker 2: it was, I think this is our 2nd St. Andrew's
- 5:59Speaker 2: boy calling us. Yeah, we had one. Yeah, exactly. So anyway, um,
- 6:04Speaker 2: regardless of what school you're from, and of course, based
- 6:06Speaker 2: on some of the texts that we've been getting or
- 6:08Speaker 2: the comments, even if you've graduated already.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Maybe you just graduated or it's been a few years.
- 6:13Speaker 2: You want to give a shout out to your alma mater,
- 6:15Speaker 2: you know, your previous school, just give us a call
- 6:17Speaker 2: as well. That's completely fine. We hear you and I
- 6:20Speaker 2: know that you want to hear a song before you
- 6:22Speaker 2: get to work or school this morning. Let's do it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: About to open up phone lines right now. We'd love
- 6:26Speaker 2: to get your song dedications in as well. Something to
- 6:29Speaker 2: maybe perk you up this
- 6:29Speaker 2: morning.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yep. So if you're on your way to school, maybe
- 6:33Speaker 1: there's a national school.
- 6:34Speaker 1: games competition or whatsoever, let us know 669-11987. Bonus points
- 6:40Speaker 1: to you from me if you're on the track and
- 6:42Speaker 1: field team. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 2: but you were from the track and field team. I was.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So did you, did you guys win a lot of,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I don't know competitions or anything? The furthest
- 6:50Speaker 1: we got to was like the semi-finals. Oh, yeah.
- 6:54Speaker 2: The furthest I got to was the audience spectator stand.
- 6:58Speaker 1: OK, I, I say this affectionately. It's very tough to
- 7:01Speaker 1: compete with your well-known schools in the world of track
- 7:04Speaker 1: and field, like, for example, Victoria School, Hwa Chong, and
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't know whether does it still happen, but for
- 7:11Speaker 1: the Hwa Chong track team and cross-country team, they were
- 7:13Speaker 1: made to cut very short hair.
- 7:15Speaker 1: For the aerodynamics.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Oh, no, actually I think it makes a difference. It
- 7:19Speaker 2: definitely does. Well, you know what, um, regardless of whatever
- 7:22Speaker 2: CCA you're in or anything you're representing your school for,
- 7:25Speaker 2: chat with us, tell us, and let us know. 669-11987,
- 7:30Speaker 2: the number to dial right now. We'd love to hear
- 7:31Speaker 2: from you.
- 7:33Speaker 1: We made
- 7:33Speaker 2: it.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Hello. Hi,
- 7:34Speaker 2: what's your name?
- 7:36Speaker 1: My name is Liam.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Hello, Liam, who are you with right now? You sound
- 7:40Speaker 2: like you're in the car.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yes,
- 7:41Speaker 2: I'm with my father.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Alright.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Hi, Liam's dad.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Hi, how
- 7:44Speaker 2: are
- 7:45Speaker 1: you? good.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So Liam, what school are you from? Uh,
- 7:48Speaker 2: we
- 7:49Speaker 1: are
- 7:49Speaker 2: also
- 7:49Speaker 1: from
- 7:49Speaker 2: Andrew's Junior School. How come we have back to back St.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Andrew's boys this
- 7:53Speaker 1: week? St. Andrew's Junior scoring a hat trick this week
- 7:56Speaker 1: on our.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Sonia, what is
- 7:57Speaker 2: going on? How is that happening? That's so cool. OK,
- 8:01Speaker 2: so over at your school, aside from the strengths of,
- 8:04Speaker 2: you know, rugby, as we already know it, what else
- 8:07Speaker 2: is there in St. Andrew's that, you know, Joakim and
- 8:09Speaker 2: I might love? I think, I think
- 8:11Speaker 1: it's uh the other CCA called hockey.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Hockey, OK,
- 8:16Speaker 1: even though I'm
- 8:17Speaker 1: in rugby. Well, Liam, congrats to your B division team then,
- 8:20Speaker 1: but can I ask?
- 8:21Speaker 1: What's the best thing to have in Saint Andrew's Junior
- 8:25Speaker 1: Primary canteen? I think
- 8:26Speaker 2: it's
- 8:26Speaker 1: chicken
- 8:26Speaker 1: rice. Oh,
- 8:28Speaker 2: OK, got me craving for that chili sauce. OK, Liam,
- 8:32Speaker 2: what song can we get you today and who is
- 8:33Speaker 2: it going out to? Can I please have Dynamite by BTS, um,
- 8:38Speaker 2: my sister and brother. Alright, we got you on that.
- 8:41Speaker 2: So enjoy the song and you have a great day
- 8:43Speaker 2: at school, OK? Thank you.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Bye bye. I'm just trying to look at you
- 8:47Speaker 2: sideways, but you always side eye me.
- 8:50Speaker 1: My neck muscles
- 8:51Speaker 1: very cramped.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Anyway, um, earlier on I got sidetracked.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah, sideways. I got sidetracked. Um, I don't know, I
- 9:00Speaker 2: think we were talking some rubbish off-air and I totally
- 9:02Speaker 2: forgot that we were supposed to do this one. We
- 9:06Speaker 2: are We are professionals at our jobs. Yes. And I
- 9:08Speaker 2: was asking Joe like when was the last time he
- 9:11Speaker 2: completed an entire book, right? And I know that a
- 9:14Speaker 2: lot of us have the intention of like, OK, I
- 9:16Speaker 2: want to read more this year. I want to do this,
- 9:18Speaker 2: I want to do that, right? But
- 9:19Speaker 2: Um, I think committing to completing a book sometimes can
- 9:22Speaker 2: be challenging for people.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah,
- 9:30Speaker 2: Dan Brown. Oh,
- 9:31Speaker 1: that must have been Dan Brown one that I ordered.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It's like, OK, so it's not, it's not like the
- 9:36Speaker 2: Da Vinci Code era. It's like now, a current book,
- 9:38Speaker 2: is it?
- 9:39Speaker 1: The Secret of Secrets.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't read that one.
- 9:41Speaker 1: The one that came
- 9:42Speaker 2: out last year. I don't mind getting that one. Maybe
- 9:44Speaker 2: I'll get it on the Currently
- 9:45Speaker 1: I'm
- 9:45Speaker 1: reading The Albatross File. It's a huge book. It's an
- 9:48Speaker 1: easy read, but it's a lot of detail to take
- 9:51Speaker 1: note and understand. Yeah,
- 9:53Speaker 2: completely. But I think, you know, when it comes to reading, I,
- 9:57Speaker 2: I actually do treasure that a lot.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Like I do like it. I find myself reading the
- 10:01Speaker 2: most when I'm overseas, like when I'm traveling, you know,
- 10:03Speaker 2: on the plane and stuff, right? But I came up
- 10:05Speaker 2: with this formula where I will leave a book at home.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I'll leave a book at my partner's home, and I'll
- 10:11Speaker 2: leave a book in my car.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Oh wow,
- 10:13Speaker 1: you can books at the
- 10:13Speaker 2: same
- 10:14Speaker 1: time.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah, so I, I realized that I can do that.
- 10:17Speaker 2: So I need a break from nonfiction if I'm reading nonfiction.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Then in the car it's like fiction, for example. So
- 10:23Speaker 2: I have a variety.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Which is why the Singapore Art Books Fair was quite interesting.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I was like, oh, like, you know, they have a lot,
- 10:29Speaker 2: like a wide variety of different types of things, right? Um, unfortunately,
- 10:35Speaker 2: they got quite a bit of flak online after they
- 10:38Speaker 2: introduced what they call a walking exhibitor option for vendors.
- 10:43Speaker 2: So when I tell you like, OK, vendors can go
- 10:45Speaker 2: display their books and all that or their materials, right,
- 10:47Speaker 2: you would think, oh they set up shop or they
- 10:49Speaker 2: set up like a shelf or a
- 10:51Speaker 2: Table or nice setup, then they display their books, right? Wait,
- 10:54Speaker 1: when
- 10:54Speaker 1: you say walking exhibitor, is it like those roads that
- 10:57Speaker 1: are coming to you saying,
- 11:00Speaker 2: oh, are you check it out,
- 11:01Speaker 1: come to my counter.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so, OK, something like this, but the only difference
- 11:07Speaker 2: is that they are already holding the books.
- 11:10Speaker 2: OK, I'm gonna take you to, for example, a sports
- 11:13Speaker 2: game right now or like any concert at the sports up.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Sometimes they come around with the tray, with the snacks
- 11:18Speaker 2: with the straps over their shoulders. Yeah, it's a hotdog,
- 11:21Speaker 2: exactly what they were comparing it to. Yeah. They call
- 11:24Speaker 2: it so-called the hotdog vendor, right, because that's what they
- 11:27Speaker 2: do at sports games. They carry.
- 11:29Speaker 2: The tray around to put hot dogs and popcorn and snacks.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Which intern or poly or IT volunteer don't,
- 11:36Speaker 2: don't anyhow say. I think honestly sometimes like back when
- 11:39Speaker 2: I was in poly we can come up with better ideas. Um,
- 11:42Speaker 2: you'd be very surprised. So this concept unfortunately was not
- 11:47Speaker 2: taken too kindly.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Um, the public sentiment is like, what are you guys
- 11:52Speaker 2: thinking got totally slammed online, by the way. I see. Yes,
- 11:56Speaker 2: I also understand because they said they wanted to try
- 11:58Speaker 2: something new to like, you know, have more interaction for,
- 12:02Speaker 2: you know, um, for them to go around and just
- 12:04Speaker 2: like tell people more about their stuff, about their product,
- 12:07Speaker 2: their materials, their books, you know.
- 12:09Speaker 2: But I think others are just saying that it's very
- 12:12Speaker 2: demeaning for the authors or the artists to walk around
- 12:14Speaker 2: like that. Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: carry a sign that says, hey, if you want nonfiction,
- 12:24Speaker 1: come to this booth and bring them.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So in that, in that sense, you're hiring someone to
- 12:28Speaker 2: put the ad, like carry the placard for you or something.
- 12:31Speaker 2: So I don't know, um, look, I, I feel like for,
- 12:35Speaker 2: for better or worse, this has gotten them a lot
- 12:37Speaker 2: of publicity. Great. So maybe people might still go down
- 12:40Speaker 2: and check it out anyway.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Um, they've responded to the criticisms and they've acknowledged, you know,
- 12:44Speaker 2: the pros and the cons and all that. Yeah, OK,
- 12:47Speaker 2: it's something new that we tried. Maybe we can do
- 12:49Speaker 2: sharing booths next time, more practical for people. Yeah.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Is
- 12:52Speaker 1: it me or is 2026 fast becoming the year of
- 12:55Speaker 1: memes where we all go viral for the wrong reasons,
- 12:58Speaker 1: but we gain following in publicity?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Exactly. So do you think this was a strategy or?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Sonia, time for us to have some viral moment together.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Come
- 13:08Speaker 2: on. Oh no, I think let's
- 13:10Speaker 1: cause some problems.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You know, our very existence on earth here causes our parents'
- 13:16Speaker 2: problems already. OK.
- 13:18Speaker 1: The
- 13:18Speaker 1: good kind of problems.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Come on.
- 13:21Speaker 2: My mom and dad might speak differently for my um
- 13:24Speaker 2: teenage self.
- 13:27Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm no, I'm no longer problematic. Yeah, yeah.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Only last time I was problematic idiot. Just want to
- 13:35Speaker 2: say a big shout out to Zahra Larson. I just
- 13:38Speaker 2: saw a viral TikTok video recently where, um, you know,
- 13:41Speaker 2: I haven't personally seen Zara Larson in concert because I
- 13:43Speaker 2: think she's touring more like not in Asia right now.
- 13:46Speaker 2: But the way she gives the spotlight to her dancers,
- 13:51Speaker 2: it's just so endearing and wonderful because sometimes, you know,
- 13:54Speaker 2: you've watched Gaga's shows or like any Taylor's Taylor Swift's
- 13:58Speaker 2: shows and all that. They also try to give their
- 14:00Speaker 2: crew some attention, right? So they give them a chance
- 14:03Speaker 2: to like showcase.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Those
- 14:04Speaker 1: are confident.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yes, yes. So Zara Larson does that too, but she
- 14:08Speaker 2: does it for every one of her dancers and she
- 14:11Speaker 2: does like a whole big gesture out of it. It's
- 14:13Speaker 2: so cute. Can't
- 14:14Speaker 1: say
- 14:14Speaker 1: the same for Lizzo.
- 14:17Speaker 2: like that one.
- 14:18Speaker 1: That's a celebrity joke.
- 14:20Speaker 2: If you know, you know. Yeah,
- 14:22Speaker 1: anyway, when we come back, Sonia, uh, you know with
- 14:24Speaker 1: all that's going on in the world right now, problems
- 14:27Speaker 1: in the Middle East and all that, of course, Singapore,
- 14:29Speaker 1: we're feeling the effects of it, but there is one
- 14:33Speaker 1: direction that was released yesterday.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Where I was a little bit confused and thinking to myself,
- 14:39Speaker 1: aren't we already supposed to do this with or without
- 14:43Speaker 1: the conflicts?
- 14:44Speaker 2: OK, we'll find out what that
- 14:45Speaker 2: is.
- 14:46Speaker 1: OK, with the global conflict happening, Singapore definitely feeling the aftereffects.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean, it's been a very busy week in parliament.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I think yesterday there was news about NTUC freezing the prices,
- 14:56Speaker 1: the prices of 100 items. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: so, so these are on the list that people buy
- 15:02Speaker 2: most of the time. So like essentials,
- 15:04Speaker 1: yeah. Doesn't mean go and rush and stock up, ah. No, no, no, no,
- 15:07Speaker 1: please don't bring back COVID
- 15:08Speaker 1: times.
- 15:10Speaker 2: No, I think this is also meant to help the elderly, right?
- 15:12Speaker 2: Because some of them, you know, they may only go
- 15:15Speaker 2: to the supermarket once in a while and they need
- 15:17Speaker 2: these essentials.
- 15:17Speaker 1: OK, so yesterday in the news, there was one very
- 15:21Speaker 1: important direction that was released, and I was thinking to myself, hey,
- 15:25Speaker 1: aren't aren't we supposed to do this already with or
- 15:29Speaker 1: without a conflict that's happening around the world? It's involve
- 15:32Speaker 1: reducing electricity use and saving power.
- 15:36Speaker 1: So, uh, government agencies have been directed to reduce electricity
- 15:41Speaker 1: consumption across public facilities, and it's something as simple as
- 15:47Speaker 1: setting the air conditioning to 25 °C. OK,
- 15:51Speaker 2: OK, never mind, never mind, I'll keep my opinions to myself. OK,
- 15:54Speaker 1: wait, wait. Switching off non-essential equipment and have better operating hours.
- 16:00Speaker 1: For lighting, lifts, and cooling systems, aren't we supposed to
- 16:04Speaker 1: be doing this already? Then all the Earth Hour ads.
- 16:07Speaker 2: What? Only for
- 16:08Speaker 1: that
- 16:08Speaker 2: hour. Yeah, exactly.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Hello,
- 16:10Speaker 2: only for that hour. OK, um, I can, I can
- 16:13Speaker 2: testify for some, you know, condos and stuff. Um, previously,
- 16:17Speaker 2: I think a lot of condos had air conditioning at
- 16:20Speaker 2: many of their lobbies and all that. Um, if I'm
- 16:23Speaker 2: not wrong, many of
- 16:24Speaker 2: Them have either changed it, they turned off the air conditioning,
- 16:27Speaker 2: or they, you know, have some sort of other ventilation,
- 16:30Speaker 2: or they have it like automated more of or they
- 16:33Speaker 2: switch it off at certain times. For me, an interesting
- 16:36Speaker 2: habit that I actually adopted from my dad back then, OK, um,
- 16:40Speaker 2: he would always turn off, like he would switch off
- 16:43Speaker 2: everything like before we leave the house, whereas I know
- 16:46Speaker 2: like most people sometimes, you know, you
- 16:48Speaker 2: Your lights or your charging points on that you would
- 16:50Speaker 2: just kind of leave it, you know, because you don't,
- 16:53Speaker 2: you don't really think about that, right? You're just like, OK,
- 16:55Speaker 2: I'll just leave now. Um, but for my dad, he
- 16:57Speaker 2: was very paranoid, like he didn't want like any sort
- 16:59Speaker 2: of short circuit or um any trip or whatsoever. So
- 17:03Speaker 2: he developed this habit of doing that and I subconsciously
- 17:06Speaker 2: developed that, although admittedly, I will say my aircon is
- 17:10Speaker 2: not 25 °C. But,
- 17:12Speaker 1: but you,
- 17:13Speaker 1: you make up for it in other ways.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I, I do, I guess, but I'm also wondering, well,
- 17:20Speaker 2: this is a question to the powers that be, right?
- 17:23Speaker 2: If I cannot switch my air-con to 25 degrees consistently,
- 17:26Speaker 2: what else can I do to cut down?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Aside from me turning off my switches and stuff before
- 17:31Speaker 2: I leave, which already helps.
- 17:32Speaker 1: OK, so by the way, SP Group, you found your
- 17:35Speaker 1: poster boy. No, I was gonna say because for me, yes,
- 17:40Speaker 1: it's a bit of a give and take situation. Yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 1: I know it's ridiculously hot and humid here in Singapore. The,
- 17:46Speaker 1: the air conditioning, I've tried 25 degrees, it
- 17:48Speaker 2: doesn't make much, I guess in a way, right? I'd
- 17:51Speaker 1: rather
- 17:51Speaker 2: use
- 17:51Speaker 1: my fan. It's colder, but it's cooler rather, but.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I think, OK, given how I don't drive and I'm
- 17:58Speaker 1: not the kind of person to put things in my
- 17:59Speaker 1: house on rest mode, I will turn it off, I'll
- 18:03Speaker 1: off all the main powers and all that. In a way,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I feel as if I'm saving my electricity already.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Yes, yes, you are. Well, I mean, you know, I
- 18:11Speaker 2: think very soon we'll find out more about how we
- 18:13Speaker 2: can contribute to that, in many, many other ways.
- 18:17Speaker 1: So
- 18:18Speaker 1: maybe before this crisis, it was just ads and advisories.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Now they are directed, so.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Cannot give any excuse. You must follow. I
- 18:29Speaker 1: won't try.
- 18:30Speaker 2: 25 °C, still very warm, you know.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And this is the final day that we're running it
- 18:37Speaker 2: at $7000. Because
- 18:38Speaker 1: next Monday, it will snowball to $8000 to which, again,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm saying this, knowing how today is the final day
- 18:46Speaker 1: of $7000 do you want to win it today or
- 18:49Speaker 1: you wait till Monday to snowball to a bigger amount?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Honestly, if I can get through the phone lines, if
- 18:55Speaker 2: I'm a listener, and if I could just get through
- 18:57Speaker 2: the phone lines today, I'll just give it a chance anyway.
- 18:59Speaker 1: So again, I'm gonna stand up now and look at
- 19:01Speaker 1: the whiteboard that we have. Please don't say clicking of
- 19:04Speaker 1: a pen, typewriter, scissors, stapler, hole puncher, signal stick, and
- 19:09Speaker 1: I think this might have been added by Avery because
- 19:12Speaker 1: he's the only other guy I can think of that'll
- 19:14Speaker 1: get frustrated with all these repeated guesses.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Gas stove, yeah, yeah, yeah, I see it, um.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yesterday, while you were not here, I think the answer
- 19:23Speaker 2: that was given was a um a clicker, like the,
- 19:27Speaker 2: the one where you count people, you know. What do
- 19:30Speaker 2: you call that? I don't know the official term for it.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Something like that, yeah. So, hey, um, these have been eliminated.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Wait for the queue to call and then you stand
- 19:38Speaker 2: your chance to get to the phone lines.
- 19:41Speaker 1: 87
- 19:42Speaker 1: secret.
- 19:46Speaker 1: What's that sound
- 19:48Speaker 1: Oh my gosh
- 19:51Speaker 1: What's your name?
- 19:52Speaker 2: You got through the phone lines.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Gigi.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Gigi, good morning, Gigi. You sound like you've been listening
- 20:00Speaker 2: and tuning in to all the shows to eliminate the answers.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Am I right? Yes, yes,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I have. Alright, Gigi,
- 20:05Speaker 2: we have high hopes for you.
- 20:07Speaker 1: People have been playing this game for the past 6
- 20:09Speaker 1: to 7 weeks and now it's down to you to
- 20:12Speaker 1: win 7.
- 20:13Speaker 1: $1000. What's your confidence level? 8, I think.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Wow, 8 out of 10. OK, I'll take it. I've
- 20:19Speaker 2: got a question then. How did you narrow down your answer?
- 20:22Speaker 2: Don't tell us your answer yet. I'm going to play
- 20:24Speaker 2: the sound for you one more time, but how did
- 20:25Speaker 2: you narrow it down? What was your process? It's just
- 20:28Speaker 1: listening to the
- 20:29Speaker 1: other answers that people have been giving and it just
- 20:31Speaker 2: doesn't sound.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Like the sound that you've been
- 20:34Speaker 1: playing, and I have this answer in my head, but
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm
- 20:37Speaker 2: also not sure if it is, but I'm pretty confident
- 20:40Speaker 2: that it is, so I don't know. Alright, you know what?
- 20:43Speaker 2: Keep that confidence and listen to the sound one more time.
- 20:48Speaker 1: For $7000 what is 987's secret sound? I think it's
- 20:54Speaker 1: the opening and closing
- 20:55Speaker 1: of a butterfly
- 20:56Speaker 2: comb. The opening and closing of a butterfly comb is
- 21:00Speaker 2: your final answer. Yes. Let's find out.
- 21:04Speaker 2: You are incorrect.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Your chance to play 987's secret sound continues.
- 21:11Speaker 1: that
- 21:15Speaker 1: Gigi, we're so sorry. So according to boss Janice, nobody
- 21:22Speaker 1: has guessed this before, but it is not the answer
- 21:24Speaker 1: we're looking for.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Gigi, we actually would have loved for you to win it.
- 21:29Speaker 2: You sounded so confident.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Can I
- 21:31Speaker 1: also read to you a further response? Yes, please. What's
- 21:33Speaker 1: the butterfly comb? The yap hair thingy? Yes.
- 21:39Speaker 1: No, it's like a, it's like a toy.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I think most play it's supposed to be like a,
- 21:43Speaker 2: like
- 21:43Speaker 1: a
- 21:43Speaker 2: knife,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but then, OK, I know which one. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 21:48Speaker 1: not the answer,
- 21:49Speaker 2: but that was very creative and you know what, you
- 21:52Speaker 2: have made it into the big grand draw that's happening tomorrow.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Right, yeah, that's some consolation there. We'll catch you at
- 21:58Speaker 2: the big grand draw and keep trying, OK? Thank you.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 22:03Speaker 1: So one guess win.
- 22:08Speaker 1: What's that?
- 22:10Speaker 2: Uh, please stay right here though, because the treats don't
- 22:12Speaker 2: end on the shock circuits. Coming up right after 8 a.m.
- 22:16Speaker 2: we've got the final pair of tickets to Lebei's sold
- 22:19Speaker 2: out show.
- 22:20Speaker 1: OK, I can give you a spoiler now. OK. Today's
- 22:22Speaker 1: song title, I want to focus on the song Best Friend.
- 22:27Speaker 2: This is because I just told you something,
- 22:29Speaker 1: is it? Yes.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Alright, I feel we should bring this on 987 involving
- 22:34Speaker 1: you as always.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Sometimes like when we are chatting off-air, you know, um,
- 22:38Speaker 2: you know, certain inspo for like topics could come out
- 22:41Speaker 2: of nowhere for content, right, because our content is all
- 22:43Speaker 2: based on real life and this one is based off
- 22:46Speaker 2: um something that's coming up very soon, and I'll tell
- 22:48Speaker 2: you more, and I think I know why Joakim is.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Gonna have a really good laugh.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Can I
- 22:53Speaker 1: just say I'm very sad. I'm not invited to this.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I'm very sad.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Don't be dramatic, OK. To our listeners, if you're tuning
- 23:00Speaker 2: in now, the moment I tell you what it is
- 23:03Speaker 2: after 8:00 a.m., you will understand why Joakim is not invited, right? OK,
- 23:07Speaker 2: and you will be on my side, I promise. About
- 23:09Speaker 2: to open up the phone lines, I can feel Joakim
- 23:12Speaker 2: is not very happy with me right now.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I'm very sad.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I feel like I should be invited to these things
- 23:19Speaker 1: with you. Why not?
- 23:21Speaker 1: OK,
- 23:22Speaker 2: to our listeners right now, you hear me out. Let's go.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It's my bachelorette party. Why is Joakim there?
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'm your best
- 23:28Speaker 1: girlfriend. You're not,
- 23:29Speaker 2: you're not. You're joking. You're not Joanna.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I'm Jokim by day, Joanne by night. Just give me
- 23:35Speaker 1: a wig and I'll be there. I'll show up,
- 23:37Speaker 2: right, because that's all it takes to transform you to
- 23:39Speaker 2: Joanna or Joanne, right?
- 23:42Speaker 2: Joe, I need to tell you this. I've seen you
- 23:44Speaker 2: in um a female's outfit before because we dressed up
- 23:47Speaker 2: for Halloween and I look good. It was not, oh, OK.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Hey, I'm confident. OK, I'm confident of my sexuality.
- 23:55Speaker 2: I know, but that doesn't mean that my eyes won't
- 23:57Speaker 2: go sore, you know what I mean? Hey, hey, hey, bro,
- 24:01Speaker 2: you took my, my leggings, and it could never go
- 24:04Speaker 2: back again. OK, so it's yours, right? I don't know
- 24:07Speaker 2: where you kept it. Did it rip? I'm not sure.
- 24:10Speaker 1: If I was a girl. Oh God,
- 24:12Speaker 2: here we go.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Novita. Oh my God.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Or who else? Let me think. All, all your fitness girlies, yes,
- 24:21Speaker 1: I'll be playing peddle and golf
- 24:22Speaker 1: as well.
- 24:23Speaker 2: This is a little too much, OK. I don't know
- 24:25Speaker 2: what you've been thinking in your free time, but it
- 24:27Speaker 2: seems like you put a lot of thought into this.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Should I be worried?
- 24:32Speaker 2: OK, so here we are, here we are. My girlfriends
- 24:36Speaker 2: are very scattered. Like they're, they're made up of, um,
- 24:39Speaker 2: small groups of maybe like 3 or 4 girls in
- 24:43Speaker 2: each group, and I've met them throughout different times of
- 24:45Speaker 2: my life, right? Poly, uni, and then my adult girlfriends,
- 24:48Speaker 2: like girlfriends that I met in my adult life, post, post-grad, OK.
- 24:53Speaker 2: And um they kind of all know each other in
- 24:56Speaker 2: a way like they've met before through parties or maybe
- 24:58Speaker 2: they crossed paths at my birthday or whatever, right? And
- 25:01Speaker 2: you've met all of them.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Um, it is quite rare to have all my girlfriends
- 25:05Speaker 2: in one place because some of them don't even live
- 25:07Speaker 2: here in Singapore, but the fact that they're already back
- 25:09Speaker 2: in SG because my wedding's happening soon, um, they decided
- 25:13Speaker 2: to come back earlier to like visit friends and family.
- 25:15Speaker 2: So I decided, you know what, let's just do the
- 25:17Speaker 2: bachelorette party in Singapore. Why am I not there? You're
- 25:21Speaker 2: not one of my girlfriends. Stay
- 25:23Speaker 1: away.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Stop it. Stop self-inviting.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Or will
- 25:29Speaker 1: I be there?
- 25:30Speaker 2: That's why I'm not telling you when or where it's
- 25:32Speaker 2: happening
- 25:33Speaker 1: as the exotic dancer.
- 25:36Speaker 2: That would mean they have no budget after the dinner.
- 25:39Speaker 2: If Joakim shows up, means they blew their budget on dinner, OK,
- 25:43Speaker 2: because this one free one crying in the studio.
- 25:47Speaker 2: OK, give us a call 669-11987. All throughout this week,
- 25:51Speaker 2: we're inspired by Leve's song titles. Best Friends. Yes, to
- 25:55Speaker 2: open up conversations. OK. So if you've ever been in
- 25:58Speaker 2: this situation where, you know, your friends are going to
- 26:00Speaker 2: throw you a party, let's say your bachelorette or your
- 26:03Speaker 2: stag night or it doesn't even need to be that,
- 26:04Speaker 2: it could be a special birthday or whatever. Is there
- 26:08Speaker 2: something that you would really want to experience during this party?
- 26:14Speaker 2: Because people always think like, oh, you know,
- 26:17Speaker 2: Um, your bachelorette or your stag night, this is the
- 26:19Speaker 2: last time that you are, um, a single person, right,
- 26:22Speaker 2: before you get married to one person for the rest
- 26:24Speaker 2: of your life. That, that's the perception, right? Do you
- 26:27Speaker 2: have something in mind like off your bucket list that
- 26:29Speaker 2: you want to do with your friends before
- 26:30Speaker 2: you get married?
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna have the most boring. I wouldn't bowling.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Oh my God,
- 26:37Speaker 1: a steak dinner, Guinness, football. I'm done.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I'm happy. Actually, you know, the funny thing is there's
- 26:42Speaker 2: always a big difference between like the men and women
- 26:45Speaker 2: celebrates and bachelorette. I feel, I feel
- 26:48Speaker 1: just put on FIFA and I'll play. Oh
- 26:50Speaker 2: my God, something else, something else. Do something different for once.
- 26:54Speaker 1: OK, I'll book out a movie cinema and I play FIFA.
- 26:59Speaker 2: At least I know what to do next time when
- 27:01Speaker 2: your bros ask me what to do for your stag night.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I'll let them know. No, I will uninvite myself. I'm
- 27:07Speaker 2: not meant to be there, just like how you're not
- 27:09Speaker 2: meant to be at the Bachelorette. OK. End of story.
- 27:12Speaker 2: End of story. I'm gonna turn your mic.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Give us a call 669-11987. Tell us, what do you
- 27:18Speaker 2: really want to experience at a party your friends might throw.
- 27:21Speaker 2: By the way,
- 27:21Speaker 1: Novita Lam is tuned in. Oh my God. She was laughing,
- 27:24Speaker 1: saying if you were a girl,
- 27:26Speaker 2: call us right now. Um, just have a good laugh
- 27:29Speaker 2: this morning. And the question based off Leve's song titles,
- 27:33Speaker 2: because this, by the way, is the final pair of
- 27:36Speaker 2: Lebe concert tickets this week that we're giving out. You
- 27:38Speaker 2: can only get it on the short circuit thanks to
- 27:40Speaker 2: our friends over at UOB.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And the question today is, seeing how my bachelorette weekend
- 27:45Speaker 2: is coming up very soon.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Um, Joakim was wondering firstly why he wasn't invited. Second,
- 27:50Speaker 2: to which I'm like,
- 27:51Speaker 1: you're
- 27:51Speaker 2: not
- 27:51Speaker 1: one of
- 27:52Speaker 2: my
- 27:52Speaker 1: girlfriends. Hang on, before anyone thinks I'm really childish, guys,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I know it's a bachelorette night. I'm just being dramatic
- 27:58Speaker 1: here on 987
- 28:00Speaker 2: he wants to be it. And uh the question to
- 28:02Speaker 2: you is, if your friends were gonna throw you a
- 28:05Speaker 2: bachelorette night or a stag night or just a party
- 28:08Speaker 2: in general, what is one thing that you want to
- 28:12Speaker 2: experience for sure?
- 28:14Speaker 1: one coming in from Desmond.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I was avoiding to say this word on 987, but he,
- 28:19Speaker 1: his text reads, Joakim doesn't need to be dressed as
- 28:22Speaker 1: a female to be at Sonya's bachelorette party. He can
- 28:25Speaker 1: be there as the stripper.
- 28:28Speaker 2: This 15
- 28:30Speaker 2: dollars budget.
- 28:34Speaker 2: I'm honestly a little terrified. I hope that it's not
- 28:36Speaker 2: gonna happen.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Can you give me my dance moves worth that much?
- 28:42Speaker 2: Don't ask. You know what my answer is, Joe. You're,
- 28:46Speaker 2: you're asking for it.
- 28:48Speaker 1: OK, one coming in from KB who says, how about this,
- 28:52Speaker 1: the reverse bachelor night, bachelor night. Can their fiances take
- 28:57Speaker 1: it or not, knowing what the bros
- 29:00Speaker 1: might be doing?
- 29:00Speaker 2: Interestingly, um, Jeremy has already gone for his bachelor weekend,
- 29:05Speaker 2: quite a while back actually. His bros arranged one overseas.
- 29:09Speaker 2: So I was like, oh yeah, my friends, we never
- 29:10Speaker 2: arranged because it's so difficult to get us together, right?
- 29:13Speaker 2: Um, they managed to arrange a a bit of a
- 29:15Speaker 2: smaller group, but they already went. And you know what,
- 29:18Speaker 2: I just said I'm not gonna ask, like I don't
- 29:19Speaker 2: want to know what's going on or like, you know, I'm,
- 29:21Speaker 2: I'm fine. I'm chill, just go have your fun. And
- 29:23Speaker 2: to be fair, he updated me and called me every day,
- 29:25Speaker 2: but
- 29:25Speaker 1: it's
- 29:26Speaker 1: all the boundaries of the relationship too extravagant,
- 29:29Speaker 2: I don't think so. Yeah, but even so, it's like,
- 29:33Speaker 2: I don't know lah, it's fine. Can
- 29:34Speaker 1: I, can
- 29:35Speaker 1: I be I'm OK. Can I be honest with you.
- 29:38Speaker 1: If I were to have a fiance in the future
- 29:41Speaker 1: and she tells me that she's going for a bachelorette party, yeah,
- 29:45Speaker 1: I actually might worry a lot. Don't be worried. No,
- 29:47Speaker 1: you know why? OK, and this I think could be
- 29:50Speaker 1: too much tea for us here at 987. 0,
- 29:52Speaker 2: is it tea
- 29:52Speaker 2: that I know? Uh,
- 29:53Speaker 1: not, not that you know, but maybe you might have
- 29:54Speaker 1: had a similar situation happened to a friend of yours before. OK.
- 29:58Speaker 1: I had a friend, had a friend who on her
- 30:01Speaker 1: bachelorette night, OK.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Some
- 30:06Speaker 1: some hanky panky happened with the male stripper. That's all
- 30:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna say. Again, it's one of those things where
- 30:14Speaker 1: you can either choose to whatever happens there stays there
- 30:17Speaker 1: or the news just spreads.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Wait, so did they stay together
- 30:21Speaker 1: till this day,
- 30:22Speaker 1: I don't know whether her husband know.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Oh, OK, this is I'm not gonna be the one
- 30:28Speaker 1: to tell because I don't know.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, don't, don't get involved in that.
- 30:33Speaker 1: OK,
- 30:34Speaker 2: this is, this is a conversation for like off-air la,
- 30:37Speaker 2: I think. I mean, I don't know how to balance the,
- 30:40Speaker 2: the thoughts out when it comes to this because a
- 30:42Speaker 2: part of me is like, you know what, like I just,
- 30:44Speaker 2: I don't need to know because you have your stack
- 30:46Speaker 2: and I have my bachelorette weekend, then it's fine as
- 30:48Speaker 2: long as we know that we're our heads in the
- 30:51Speaker 2: right place.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Again, just in case to save myself here, this kind
- 30:54Speaker 1: of behavior is.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Genderless. Oh
- 30:56Speaker 2: yeah, it happens both ways. It could, yeah, there you go.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Anyway, um, back to more messages. We're gonna get to
- 31:01Speaker 2: calls in just a bit.
- 31:04Speaker 1: You had one more
- 31:04Speaker 2: to read something? Keep the calls
- 31:05Speaker 1: and texts coming in at 669-11987 or 90050987. Somebody texting in,
- 31:11Speaker 1: want to say good morning to Mark. Sonia, I'll give
- 31:14Speaker 1: Joakim $50 as a stripper. Stop it, y'all.
- 31:18Speaker 2: That one's still quite budget. We're on the topic of
- 31:20Speaker 2: whether or not you have something in mind. Let's say
- 31:22Speaker 2: if your friends are throwing you a bachelorette party or
- 31:25Speaker 2: a stag night or maybe just a party in general.
- 31:28Speaker 2: What is something that you want to experience? Wanna
- 31:31Speaker 1: say good morning to Kai on WhatsApp. Hey, Sonia and Joakim,
- 31:35Speaker 1: I have a friend who will definitely invite people like
- 31:37Speaker 1: Steven Lim.
- 31:41Speaker 1: To take on the friend and make it into a
- 31:43Speaker 1: memorable video. The rest is up to your imagination.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that would be hilarious. I mean, look,
- 31:49Speaker 2: if you know your friend that well, if you know
- 31:51Speaker 2: your friend can take a joke and will appreciate it,
- 31:53Speaker 2: by all means.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Another one coming in from Rachel. Rachel has a job
- 31:58Speaker 1: offer for me, Sonia. Oh, Sonia, if you don't want
- 32:01Speaker 1: Joakim as a stripper for a bachelorette, I'll book him
- 32:03Speaker 1: for my bachelorette.
- 32:05Speaker 1: In 3 to 5 years or so. Go book this
- 32:08Speaker 1: man in advance, man. 500 bucks, can or not?
- 32:13Speaker 2: OK, yeah, for $500 you better start practicing now. I'm joking, Rachel,
- 32:17Speaker 1: throw in one more 0 in there and we can,
- 32:18Speaker 1: we can talk $5000. Hey, hello, this body is gold. OK. Oh,
- 32:23Speaker 1: is it?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Can you be more supportive, ah,
- 32:31Speaker 2: this is the career path. If you, if, if you
- 32:33Speaker 2: decide this is the career path you want to take,
- 32:34Speaker 2: I will support you. I will support
- 32:36Speaker 2: you.
- 32:37Speaker 1: If there is a website that can make money from
- 32:40Speaker 1: you doing these kind of things, I try lah.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Come lah. Go ahead.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Exclusive club.
- 32:45Speaker 2: OK, I will support. What you call the club.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Why are you gonna call the cop? I don't know.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Like subscribers only
- 32:51Speaker 2: kind of thing,
- 32:52Speaker 1: is it? Like if I have a group of men,
- 32:53Speaker 1: the bro.
- 32:54Speaker 2: No, please. OK, your, your goal is to find a girlfriend,
- 32:58Speaker 2: not repel them, you know.
- 33:01Speaker 1: There's a Joakim, Joseph, and Jonathan. Pick your Joe.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Woo! Pick your Jay. Which Jay do you want?
- 33:08Speaker 2: Talking about what you would still want to experience if
- 33:11Speaker 2: your friends could throw you a bachelorette or stag night.
- 33:14Speaker 2: What's one thing that you still want to experience before you,
- 33:17Speaker 2: you know, go into a new chapter of your life,
- 33:20Speaker 2: all inspired by Lee Wei's songs
- 33:22Speaker 1: this week. Got a text coming in from Dee. I
- 33:25Speaker 1: realized when it comes to bachelorette or bachelor parties, it's
- 33:28Speaker 1: always the sisters or brothers having more fun than the
- 33:30Speaker 1: bride and groom.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Because they're usually bonked up from all the alcohol in
- 33:35Speaker 1: the earlier
- 33:36Speaker 1: half,
- 33:36Speaker 2: True, which is why I said like, hey guys, like
- 33:38Speaker 2: let's take it easy because I still want to remember
- 33:41Speaker 2: the dinner at least. Say good
- 33:43Speaker 1: morning to Frederick on WhatsApp as well. Hey Sonia and Joakim.
- 33:47Speaker 1: My bachelor's party stag night was at Bali. Oh, I
- 33:52Speaker 1: could not remember half of it, because even before we
- 33:55Speaker 1: got to the club, I was knocked
- 33:57Speaker 1: out.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Amen. OK, so in return, right, during your wedding itself,
- 34:04Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure he's had his wedding already, these
- 34:06Speaker 2: bros will have to do the favor back. That means
- 34:08Speaker 2: they will have to tank the drinks on his wedding
- 34:10Speaker 2: day for the gate crashing. Ah, well, I'm not doing that,
- 34:13Speaker 2: but I think in general, like after party or whatever, um,
- 34:17Speaker 2: so far, a lot of my friends whom I've attended weddings,
- 34:20Speaker 2: their weddings.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Yeah, they actually assign some brothers and sisters to help
- 34:23Speaker 2: them drink. If not, you will not remember your day.
- 34:26Speaker 2: I don't.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't know how this started, but you know, when
- 34:29Speaker 1: it comes to your birthdays or anniversaries or bachelor or
- 34:32Speaker 1: bachelorette parties, right, when, when did it become a thing
- 34:36Speaker 1: to get the main person drunk and chao and all that?
- 34:39Speaker 2: I
- 34:39Speaker 2: think you should ask your parents because they probably started
- 34:41Speaker 2: way back.
- 34:42Speaker 2: It is, it is universal across generations, joking.
- 34:46Speaker 1: I
- 34:46Speaker 2: want to
- 34:46Speaker 1: remember
- 34:47Speaker 2: these things. I know, I know. You know the funny
- 34:49Speaker 2: thing is like in the past, right, I remember 18th birthday,
- 34:52Speaker 2: someone will buy like 18 shots and then everyone will share, right?
- 34:56Speaker 2: But as the years increase, I think cannot really.
- 35:00Speaker 2: After 18, it's like, please let's just not do that.
- 35:02Speaker 1: I cannot
- 35:03Speaker 1: even afford a tray of shots now at that point. Anyway,
- 35:06Speaker 1: I want to say good morning to Perlin. Perlin goes, Hey,
- 35:08Speaker 1: Sonia and Joakim, what I really want to do with
- 35:10Speaker 1: my friends is host a massive twister party. Oh,
- 35:14Speaker 2: OK, like games.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It's been ages since I last played it, but it's
- 35:17Speaker 1: a perfect balance between having fun and the physical demand.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Now that we are all older now, playing Twister would
- 35:22Speaker 1: have a different twist too, pun intended.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Girl, don't, don't injure
- 35:27Speaker 1: yourself. Make sure you stretch before playing the game.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Stop sounding like an
- 35:30Speaker 2: uncle. Today's song is Best Friend. So if your best
- 35:34Speaker 2: friend were to be throwing you a party, for example,
- 35:36Speaker 2: maybe your stag night or your bachelorette night or maybe
- 35:38Speaker 2: just a random birthday party, what is one thing that
- 35:41Speaker 2: you want to experience? OK,
- 35:43Speaker 1: so the running joke for the past 45 minutes is
- 35:45Speaker 1: I might show up to Sonia's No, you're bachelorette party
- 35:48Speaker 1: as the dancer they hire
- 35:50Speaker 2: because I'm not telling you when and where.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I will find out somehow we have girl code. You're
- 35:56Speaker 2: not gonna find out.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I want to say good morning to Hima and Hema goes, Hey,
- 36:03Speaker 1: good morning guys. I'm going through my happy divorce. Oh, Joakim,
- 36:09Speaker 1: can I book you for my divorce party? Please prepare
- 36:13Speaker 1: some good moves. Would 1.5K be good?
- 36:17Speaker 2: Not bad, rates already, but just now I hate to
- 36:19Speaker 2: break it to you, he was asking for $5000 so.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I don't know if 1.5k.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I'll be bartender.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Why?
- 36:30Speaker 2: OK lah. I don't know. I've never seen you make
- 36:32Speaker 2: a cocktail before. I'm not sure if you can do
- 36:33Speaker 2: that you never will. Now, this is our final pair
- 36:37Speaker 2: of Leve concert tickets this week.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Happening over at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, May 19th, and
- 36:44Speaker 1: these pair of tickets are the cat 3 ones worth
- 36:47Speaker 1: $436 in total. And
- 36:51Speaker 2: trust us when we say this, we're very confident the
- 36:53Speaker 2: sound is going to be.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Beautiful. Um, she will have lovely vocals as always. So
- 36:57Speaker 2: this is an experience you don't want to miss.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Cannot
- 37:00Speaker 1: wait to see whether she play the cello, the piano.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I think she will. Will she bring out her sister again,
- 37:05Speaker 2: twin with a place like um the venue, I think
- 37:09Speaker 2: she'll definitely have a lot more going on on stage. OK. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 2: so we're looking forward to it, but only one person
- 37:14Speaker 2: can win today.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Let's give
- 37:15Speaker 1: it to Perlin who texted us earlier.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Hey, congratulations. We really enjoyed your story. Um, now to
- 37:23Speaker 2: catch up with everyone's hilarious responses, please go check out
- 37:26Speaker 2: Me Listen, and Spotify after the show. But a big
- 37:28Speaker 2: shout out to our friends who at UOB. They're the
- 37:30Speaker 2: ones that hustled for these tickets, and thanks to Visa
- 37:33Speaker 2: as well, the official payment partner, UOB card members can
- 37:37Speaker 2: enjoy priority access to some of the hottest entertainment acts,
- 37:40Speaker 2: not just in Singapore, but in the region. Perlin's
- 37:42Speaker 1: text.
- 37:43Speaker 1: But what she wants to do for a bachelorette party
- 37:45Speaker 1: got me thinking, when was the last time I played Twister?
- 37:48Speaker 2: Wow, I don't remember, to be honest. It's been a
- 37:51Speaker 2: long time since I've played any game.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Whenever I
- 37:54Speaker 1: play it, I'm always the first to get eliminated because
- 37:56Speaker 1: I'll lose my balance.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Your, your flexibility
- 38:00Speaker 1: it's quite bad.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Coming up for food news in just.
- 38:04Speaker 2: A little bit. There is a place that I think you, you, you,
- 38:09Speaker 2: you go there quite a bit for your burger fix.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I think
- 38:13Speaker 1: McDonald's.
- 38:14Speaker 2: No, no, aside from McDonald's. No, name a few more.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Burger King. No,
- 38:20Speaker 1: no, my
- 38:21Speaker 1: burger.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you've mentioned this before and we've talked about it before.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Bot Jones.
- 38:27Speaker 2: No, burger burger. Think about burgers. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Like Shake Shack.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Oh my God, it took me a while, sorry.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I was like, how is this not happening because Joe,
- 38:38Speaker 2: you've mentioned Shake Shack a number of times and I
- 38:39Speaker 2: think we've eaten there together before. Yes, we have, we
- 38:42Speaker 2: have a number of times actually.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Um, in just a few minutes, find out what our
- 38:46Speaker 2: friends over at Shake Shack are up to, because as
- 38:49Speaker 2: you know, every few months they make the news with
- 38:52Speaker 2: some sort of collaboration. Um, not too long ago, they
- 38:55Speaker 2: actually partnered up with a Korean restaurant to create a,
- 38:58Speaker 2: a Korean style burger, and this was like, um, the
- 39:02Speaker 2: owners of Nam and Goom, if you recall this, a
- 39:04Speaker 2: couple of months back really. So find out who's their
- 39:06Speaker 2: latest partner and what they're up to in just a bit.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Which region? Give us a hint. You
- 39:11Speaker 2: mean in in terms
- 39:12Speaker 1: of Asia, Europe,
- 39:14Speaker 2: America in Singapore. Singapore, Singapore. You know, with Shake Shack,
- 39:18Speaker 2: they try to localize it quite a bit. So they
- 39:20Speaker 2: will definitely work with someone from Singapore. Violet. Actually that
- 39:25Speaker 2: sounds like quite a good idea, but it's not. I
- 39:28Speaker 2: wouldn't be surprised if that happens though.
- 39:30Speaker 1: 0123, news, news.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Sonia with the good food news. Give it to us,
- 39:38Speaker 1: Miss Chuw. Yeah,
- 39:39Speaker 2: so earlier on, I got you to guess which burger
- 39:41Speaker 2: joint started a new collaboration and Joakim finally guessed Shake Shack. Yes,
- 39:45Speaker 2: you're right. Um, they're quite known for partnering up with
- 39:49Speaker 2: restaurants here in Singapore to create, um, a limited edition burger, right?
- 39:53Speaker 2: Previously it was a Korean one. They partnered with our
- 39:55Speaker 2: friends who own Goom and Naum to create a Korean burger.
- 39:58Speaker 2: I hope it's very good. This time around, I believe
- 40:00Speaker 2: they're partnering.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Um, a hotel, uh, not a hotel, a restaurant over
- 40:04Speaker 2: at Raffles Hotel. Not sure whether you've been there before.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Butcher's Block. Have you heard of it? Yeah, you have, right?
- 40:12Speaker 2: They're quite famous. So they're creating these limited edition burgers
- 40:15Speaker 2: that have a hint of Hawaiian inspiration as well, because
- 40:19Speaker 2: I believe the chef is from there. Um, he's a
- 40:22Speaker 2: Hawaii born. His name is Jordan.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And they developed a very special menu. I think you're
- 40:27Speaker 2: gonna love it because it's going to have wood-fired smoked
- 40:30Speaker 2: sauce and premium meats in their burger.
- 40:34Speaker 1: My close friends, Iggy, Cheryl, and Mindy actually brought me
- 40:37Speaker 1: there in the year 2020 when the.
- 40:40Speaker 1: COVID restrictions were lifted to groups of 5.
- 40:43Speaker 2: OK.
- 40:43Speaker 1: We had
- 40:43Speaker 1: my birthday meal over there.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Oh, nice. So you remember the place did you like
- 40:46Speaker 2: the food? It was good? Not good. So, so do
- 40:50Speaker 2: expect for the collaboration, things like the Aloha shack where
- 40:53Speaker 2: there's bits of Hawaiian culture and a bit of like
- 40:55Speaker 2: American culture as well.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Um, but also they wanted to make sure that Singapore
- 41:00Speaker 2: is still highlighted as an amazing food scene. So I
- 41:03Speaker 2: think there's a lot of inspiration and ideas that went
- 41:06Speaker 2: into this
- 41:06Speaker 1: something
- 41:07Speaker 1: known as the Aloha shack. I'm guessing it's a slice
- 41:09Speaker 1: of pineapple in there,
- 41:10Speaker 2: yeah, must be. Um, so for the menu, first you
- 41:14Speaker 2: have the barbecue smokehouse shack. This is a beef burger
- 41:17Speaker 2: with barbecue ketchup. Oh my God, I'm there for that.
- 41:20Speaker 2: I love ketchup mayonnaise, pickled jalapeno, red.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Onions, cheese blends with Hawaiian touches. So I think their
- 41:27Speaker 2: meat smoking techniques is something to look out for.
- 41:29Speaker 1: So if this Shake Shack collaboration is a small preview
- 41:33Speaker 1: of what the butcher's block actually is, go for a
- 41:36Speaker 1: meal over at Butcher's Block. I recommend. So
- 41:38Speaker 2: I think it's a win-win for both sides, to be honest,
- 41:41Speaker 2: you know, you get a taste of both, and I
- 41:43Speaker 2: think they only have a one-day exclusive at Raffles Hotel Singapore,
- 41:47Speaker 2: the Shackapore dog.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Like Singapore, but Shakapore. Yes, hotdog, um, but they're available
- 41:55Speaker 2: on the 25th of April, so you can still um
- 41:59Speaker 2: lock your date in.
- 42:00Speaker 2: And it'll be super delicious. I think you can grab
- 42:02Speaker 2: it and enjoy it at the lawn as well.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Just remember, it's pronounced Shake Shack, not Shake Shack.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Yeah,
- 42:10Speaker 1: Shake Shack Shagapore sounds a
- 42:11Speaker 1: bit.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Difficult
- 42:14Speaker 1: to say. I want to
- 42:15Speaker 1: say congratulations to our friends over at Channel
- 42:18Speaker 2: 8. Channel 8, yeah, OK,
- 42:20Speaker 1: because of one drama. Oh.
- 42:23Speaker 1: They've caused a bit of an international incident, inverted commas
- 42:29Speaker 1: in Malaysia, that's OK. So apparently in this drama, the
- 42:34Speaker 1: drama depicts Malaysia as a base for a scam syndicate.
- 42:40Speaker 1: So some people in charge of organizations in Malaysia and associations,
- 42:44Speaker 1: they're not too happy with it, saying.
- 42:46Speaker 1: OK, you all should pay attention to this drama and
- 42:48Speaker 1: don't air it anymore. The the writer has come out
- 42:51Speaker 1: to clarify, saying we know that scams don't just happen
- 42:54Speaker 1: in Malaysia, and we even said that the scammers actually
- 42:57Speaker 1: from other countries, they set up base in Malaysia, OK,
- 43:01Speaker 1: so this one is up in the air still, but
- 43:04Speaker 1: if there were to be a drama series about whatever
- 43:07Speaker 1: happens in Batam.
- 43:10Speaker 1: If you want to know where I'm going with this,
- 43:12Speaker 1: stay with us here on the show. Full details coming
- 43:14Speaker 1: your way. And
- 43:15Speaker 2: that one
- 43:15Speaker 2: unfortunately is a real story. That's legit legit taking you
- 43:19Speaker 2: to Batam right now. Yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 1: so if
- 43:21Speaker 1: our friends over at Channel 8 were to write a
- 43:24Speaker 1: series about people getting fined in Batam for interesting reasons,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I guess it's a fact because it's in the news
- 43:34Speaker 1: and
- 43:34Speaker 1: Ever since that one couple that got fined for apparently
- 43:37Speaker 1: open inverted commas jumping the queue when they didn't,
- 43:40Speaker 2: when was that again?
- 43:41Speaker 1: I forgot.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Quite
- 43:42Speaker 1: a few weeks
- 43:42Speaker 2: back. Was this Batam as
- 43:43Speaker 1: well Batam, yeah, so apparently the officers who were involved
- 43:47Speaker 1: all fired. Oh, done. Yeah, now there are other people
- 43:51Speaker 1: come out and say, hey, we also actually paid $200
- 43:54Speaker 1: for some weird reasons, but this one particular one.
- 43:59Speaker 1: Very hard to escape.
- 44:01Speaker 2: You know,
- 44:01Speaker 1: in immigration queues, you cannot use your phone? Yeah,
- 44:04Speaker 2: of course, you're not allowed. Yeah, yeah.
- 44:06Speaker 1: They they got fined for using their phones. The kids
- 44:08Speaker 1: were using their phones. So I guess, uh, you
- 44:11Speaker 2: know. OK, OK, hold on. Um, I'm waiting in immigration,
- 44:18Speaker 2: people are still using phones.
- 44:20Speaker 1: But when you're at the
- 44:21Speaker 2: booth at the booth
- 44:23Speaker 1: I'm not too sure because there's no CCTV whatsoever. But yeah,
- 44:27Speaker 1: you know, when you're going to places where you know
- 44:29Speaker 1: sometimes you can be a little bit suss or
- 44:33Speaker 1: dodgy,
- 44:34Speaker 2: I know, but I guess it's more of like maybe
- 44:35Speaker 2: from the POV it's like, but they're just kids, you know,
- 44:39Speaker 2: they're just kids, but then again.
- 44:41Speaker 2: As parents, future parents, next time maybe, it might be
- 44:45Speaker 2: our responsibility. Perhaps that's how they're seeing it.
- 44:49Speaker 1: So that's how all of us here in Singapore, we
- 44:50Speaker 1: love to go to Bali and rent a scooter and
- 44:52Speaker 1: all that, right? Please don't donate to the Bali police force.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Make sure you wear a helmet, even though it's nasty.
- 44:59Speaker 1: If it's really nasty, go and buy one
- 45:01Speaker 2: don't.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Don't give yourself a reason to get into trouble.
- 45:05Speaker 1: tourists and say, hey, where's your helmet, pay a fine.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Just a quick clarification, um, the parents were saying that
- 45:12Speaker 2: his children were using the phones to fill out the
- 45:14Speaker 2: immigration card, the digital immigration card. So that's their defense,
- 45:18Speaker 2: saying that they're not using the phone to take photo
- 45:20Speaker 2: or anything like that. So.
- 45:22Speaker 2: I don't know how else they're going to look into it,
- 45:25Speaker 2: but many similar cases recently where, you know, officials have
- 45:29Speaker 2: resigned and all that. So,
- 45:31Speaker 1: please don't, don't give them a reason to get money
- 45:34Speaker 1: out
- 45:34Speaker 2: of you. Just have a good trip, you know, yeah.
- 45:37Speaker 1: So whenever I go for runs here in Singapore, usually
- 45:40Speaker 1: I'll do it in Bishan or maybe the CBD area
- 45:43Speaker 1: of mine or stadium Kallang and then sometimes from Changi
- 45:48Speaker 1: all the way to Marina Bay. I'll pass by East
- 45:50Speaker 1: Coast and I'll see the.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Nice bay shore area. But yesterday, a friend of mine
- 45:54Speaker 1: told me saying, Hey, let me show you a nice
- 45:56Speaker 1: route from Serangoon going towards Punggol Coast.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Oh my God, how far is that?
- 46:01Speaker 1: It's about 11
- 46:02Speaker 1: km.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Oh, OK, not as bad as I thought.
- 46:04Speaker 1: It felt further because it was a very nice straight.
- 46:08Speaker 1: So you're running straight. But I must say, once we
- 46:11Speaker 1: passed Tampines Road for about maybe a good 8 km,
- 46:14Speaker 1: there was no traffic lights, and the views of Punggol
- 46:18Speaker 1: coast of all the new BTOs and.
- 46:21Speaker 1: On the right side of those forested areas,
- 46:23Speaker 2: undeveloped.
- 46:24Speaker 1: It's actually very nice.
- 46:27Speaker 2: So are you thinking that maybe this is an area
- 46:29Speaker 2: that you might like for
- 46:30Speaker 1: for all those people that say, Punggol Coast, Punggol, it's
- 46:34Speaker 1: actually very nice and the amenities they have there serving
- 46:37Speaker 1: the Punggol residents,
- 46:38Speaker 2: yeah,
- 46:38Speaker 1: it's actually a lot.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Well, I think they have to because it is a
- 46:42Speaker 2: fact that my, I have friends who live there. I
- 46:45Speaker 2: have aunties who live in that area too. It is
- 46:46Speaker 2: a fact that it may take a little bit longer
- 46:49Speaker 2: to get to places, but
- 46:50Speaker 2: The fact that now there are way more BTOs coming up.
- 46:53Speaker 2: There are a lot of young couples, you know, moving in,
- 46:55Speaker 2: there has to be more amenities. So they, I wouldn't
- 46:57Speaker 2: be surprised if they build more train stations, malls, and
- 47:00Speaker 2: things like that. And for
- 47:01Speaker 1: Punggol Coast MRT station, it's right below where SIT is,
- 47:06Speaker 1: and there's Punggol Coast Mall. It reminds me of Holland village.
- 47:10Speaker 2: They have their own community there.
- 47:12Speaker 1: It's a very nice layout. So
- 47:13Speaker 2: you know what they say, right? Like people who live
- 47:15Speaker 2: in certain areas like that,
- 47:17Speaker 2: Amenities are all up and running. You may not even
- 47:19Speaker 2: see them in town anymore.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so I ran there at night, I want to
- 47:22Speaker 1: go back in the daytime for Coney Island.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Have
- 47:24Speaker 1: you never been to a loop in Coney Island and
- 47:28Speaker 1: see what
- 47:28Speaker 2: happens. OK. I mean, I've been to Coney Island, not
- 47:31Speaker 2: to run, just to take a look and have dinner there.
- 47:34Speaker 2: That was quite nice. So
- 47:35Speaker 1: a lot of
- 47:36Speaker 1: Punggol and Punggol Coast. This is your flowers. We're giving
- 47:38Speaker 1: it to you here on 987.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Maybe you might see Job himself from Bishan go there next.
- 47:44Speaker 2: Let's see, let's see what happens. Thank you for joining
- 47:46Speaker 2: us this week. We hope you had a good one
- 47:48Speaker 2: and whatever it is you're up to over the weekends,
- 47:51Speaker 2: just treasure the sleep and the
- 47:53Speaker 2: time.
- 47:53Speaker 1: And if you're taking part in the big grand draw,
- 47:55Speaker 1: all the best. I really hope you win
- 47:58Speaker 1: something.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and especially if you qualify during our show, we
- 48:01Speaker 2: wish you good luck. Um, tomorrow we will not be there,
- 48:04Speaker 2: but I believe, um, it might be Anne Nicole and
- 48:07Speaker 2: Natasha who might be on ground actually, if I'm not wrong,
- 48:10Speaker 2: if I'm not wrong.
