🚨 How To Navigate the VOLATILITY of SILVER and Gold 🚨 · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:00
How do you navigate as a silver and gold investor?
0:04
What is often extreme volatility within the precious metal
0:09
sector? Silver and gold, and the
0:12
precious metal mining stocks in particular, can have some
0:15
radical crazy moves. How do we deal with that?
0:20
We'll focus in initially on the metals, silver and gold.
0:24
Some things you can do to make sure you don't get run through
0:28
the emotional wringer, but but we've got a lot more to talk
0:31
about as well. A Ponzi scheme, Yes, the P word
0:35
Ponzi scheme that you possibly could be somehow involved with.
0:40
Me as well. I'm going to talk about that.
0:43
It has to do with a fruit and your phone.
0:47
I'll leave it at that. Next up, we're going to talk
0:50
about Bitcoin. There's bitcoins all over and
0:53
talk briefly about Bitcoin and why all this bit Bitcoin has has
0:58
can did you notice that has stolen a bit of the the shine
1:03
from silver and gold over the last 10 years?
1:05
We got some news on Bitcoin, some insightful information
1:08
about what's going on with Bitcoin and how that could turn
1:12
into a possible catalyst for gold and silver also later in
1:17
this year and we're going to talk about other the great
1:19
taking right that fact that they can take all your assets.
1:22
We're going to touch on that. Q4 earnings are coming up.
1:25
Oil, oil, oil, big news in the oil patch, iPhone sales and
1:33
Middle East news again pointing us toward this fact that we've
1:38
got geopolitical turmoil. We got a lot to cover.
1:40
That's a lot. Don't forget this Wednesday I'll
1:43
be putting out a video, a giveaway video.
1:45
There'll be a link to it and every video I put out subsequent
1:48
where all you have to do is go to that video, leave a comment,
1:51
it'll say thanks, Pinbex, our sponsor who's helping sponsor
1:56
the giveaway and you'll be automatically entered.
1:59
It's going to be at least 20 ounces of silver.
2:03
I'll be throughout the week kind of showing you what's involved
2:06
and in that video showing you as well.
2:08
So don't forget it'll be on Valentine's Day.
2:11
I almost forgot to say that. I apologize.
2:14
I appreciate you guys. So bummer when your kids lose 5
2:17
games in a row. I'm.
2:18
I'm always, I'm telling people like these parents take sports
2:22
too seriously. But five games in a row?
2:25
I mean, my gosh. Anyway, what do you need to do
2:29
to be prepared to navigate the volatility that you will
2:33
experience in the silver and gold sector?
2:36
I've got some concrete ideas, OK, so that we can feel good
2:40
even on days like today. I woke up at 5:00 AM, wide
2:44
awake. That happens sometimes, right?
2:46
I won't say I was necessarily really more anxious than normal.
2:49
I'm usually anxious in the morning.
2:51
I have a lot of energy when I wake up.
2:53
And anyway, I woke up at 5:00 and I'm like, well, there's no
2:55
going back to bed now. I checked the gold price down
2:58
$26 per oz. It's like, oh, great, what a
3:02
wonderful way to start the week. Right?
3:06
But you've gotta be prepared for days like that, for mornings
3:10
like that. I'm gonna take a look right now.
3:11
Let's do an up right now. Spot price of gold.
3:15
Where are we now? Hey, All right, man, it looks
3:19
like it's only down $9.40, right?
3:22
So this morning, what? Five hours ago, I was laying in
3:25
bed. I could have panicked, right?
3:27
No, I was, you know, not happy about it.
3:29
We got to be prepared. I'm going to tell you some
3:32
things you can do to be prepared for these crazy ups and downs.
3:37
Let's check the silver price. Live.
3:39
Live in the basement. We're live, guys. 200 of us.
3:43
Thank you for the thumbs up, man.
3:44
That's awesome. Let's get to 300 today so we can
3:47
ring the golden gong. Huh.
3:50
We got a lot to cover. I know.
3:52
I'm dilly dallying around. Looks like silver is down.
3:56
Nothing. I can't really tell what's this
3:58
say? Says down .02%, so silvers
4:02
$23.17 in the spot market it was down I think almost like $0.25
4:08
when I looked. How do you deal with, how do you
4:11
deal with it? OK, everybody's different,
4:13
right? You're you are an individual.
4:16
Some people are like, well, I like when the price goes down,
4:18
that means I can buy more. I like, blah, blah.
4:20
Well, I already got enough. A lot of us do and I don't think
4:25
anybody really wants the price of silver and gold to go down.
4:30
How can we do it? Number one, I got it all for you
4:33
here. Get out of pen and paper.
4:34
By the time you're done, you're going to be, you're going to be
4:36
more peaceful and it in harmony with yourself and it harmony
4:41
with your silver and gold investment.
4:45
This is the silver and gold self help show.
4:48
Welcome to the basement. OK, number one, you have to be
4:51
mentally prepared. You have to accept the fact that
4:54
silver and gold are volatile assets.
4:57
OK, I can't stress this enough because I've struggled with it
5:01
more than almost probably anybody you'll ever meet.
5:04
I follow the gold price up and down, but you've got to, at your
5:08
core, accept the fact that silver can make wild moves.
5:13
Silver in particular. Natural gas is another one, I
5:17
guess. Apparently the traders that
5:18
trade natural gas, call it the widow maker.
5:21
Silver can be a bit of a widow maker as well, right?
5:24
Heart attack. We don't want to have a heart
5:25
attack over the silver price. I'll give you an example.
5:29
Right now we're sitting at what, $23 per oz on silver?
5:33
We talked about this in a previous live stream.
5:36
I can guarantee you absolutely you want one guarantee about the
5:40
silver price from where we are right now, $23 per oz.
5:44
I can guarantee you 100% that at some point in the future, this
5:50
is the one prediction that will come true.
5:53
From $23 will either be $4.00 higher at 27 or OK, we'll be at
6:00
$19.00. We're going to hit one of those
6:03
first, right? I think it's going to be to the
6:06
upside, but it could be to the downside.
6:08
And we have to be mentally prepared that anything is within
6:12
the realm of possibilities. Hello Zook, thank you for the
6:16
Super Chad. Zook says sorry, you'll have to
6:18
exchange my crappy currency into your crappy currency.
6:23
Yeah, no joke. That's I love exchange.
6:25
We talk about silver and gold Zook coin shop.
6:29
Chris and I like to use the term convert, right?
6:32
You can convert your Unicorn fart dust, your paper money,
6:35
whatever you want to call it. They can print that stuff ad
6:38
nauseam. You can convert your paper money
6:42
into real metal, into this. Here's a three ounce silver
6:46
heart. OK, this came from bison
6:50
bullion. I think it is something like
6:51
that. People always ask me.
6:53
I don't know if you can buy them online or not.
6:54
It's a 3 oz Silver Heart. It's a great.
6:56
It's a Valentine's gift to Susie that I've absconded.
6:59
Is that the word? Absconded?
7:01
I'm so bad with the words hegemony.
7:05
Anyway, I took down here in the basement.
7:07
It's crazy the let us convert paper into real metal.
7:12
That's been valuable and that's not what this is about.
7:14
This is about your emotional well-being as a silver and gold
7:19
investor. All right.
7:20
And some tools you can use. Only acquire the silver.
7:24
I'm a silver stacker, but this goes for gold as well, With
7:28
money that you think you'll never need.
7:31
OK, only buy silver with money that you think you'll never
7:36
need, right? Not money that you think you're
7:39
gonna need in two months to pay your car insurance.
7:43
Not money that you think you're going to need at the end of the
7:46
month to pay the electric bill, right.
7:48
Not money that you think you're going to need, maybe even in a
7:51
year or two, for whatever expense that might come up.
7:55
If you only use money that you think you'll never need that you
7:59
can just hold on to, like when you buy silver or gold.
8:02
It's generational. I hear a lot of people say that
8:05
and I I never really realized, but that's the way I think of it
8:08
as well. When I buy metal, I think about
8:11
I'm not, I don't ever want to sell it.
8:13
I have this wonderful warm feeling that at some point when
8:17
I'm an old man, right, And I'll still be making a video every
8:20
day. Don't you worry either a live
8:22
stream or a video. I promise.
8:24
I promise anyway, that when I'm an old man, I'll be able to pass
8:28
that along to children and grandchildren, right?
8:31
I wish my great grandpa had done that right.
8:34
It would be awesome, right? But you know, and I I love my
8:37
relatives. But nonetheless, you only want
8:39
to use money that you think you're never going to need.
8:41
That you can hold on to forever. OK.
8:44
Forever and ever, at least. I mean, you never know what's
8:47
going to happen. You know how life goes, right?
8:49
You got the same life. We're all in the same boat,
8:52
right? There's stuff happens.
8:55
We know that. Thank you.
8:56
Coin shop. Chris, We got to 100.
8:57
Thumbs up. Let's do that right away.
9:00
Sorry, I have to interrupt this broadcast because we have 100
9:04
thumbs up and that means we ring the bell 10 times.
9:07
That means if you don't like bells, mute your earbuds.
9:10
Or however you're listening to me, I may be being broadcast
9:14
across the intercom system at JP Morgan Chase or Goldman Sachs.
9:18
Wherever you are, If you don't like bells, please mute.
9:27
Thank you. So you only want to use money,
9:30
right, that you think you'll never need that you could like
9:32
bury in the backyard or whatever.
9:34
Like a stack of think of like a stack of let's say $10,000.
9:39
Let's say you somebody, somebody delivered a stack of $10,000 to
9:43
your front door and they said you can do whatever you want
9:46
with this money, but you can't spend it.
9:48
You got right. Put it in silver, bury it and
9:51
forget about it. Let your kids have it.
9:53
That's security. That's what it is.
9:55
Okay. Now the other big thing you can
9:57
do dollar cost, average. We can't emphasize this enough.
10:01
Okay. That helps take the emotion out
10:04
of it. A lot of people rush into silver
10:07
and gold when the prices are skyrocketing, especially silver.
10:11
Silver is a momentum, people. Oh, silver is going up.
10:14
Silver is going up. I got to run to Costco and get
10:16
some silver. Well, they don't have any, but
10:18
nonetheless, everybody wants silver when silver is going up.
10:23
Dollar cost, average. Tell yourself here, here's the
10:25
way you can do it. Every two months, every three
10:28
months, every month, every six months.
10:31
I don't care. Whatever schedule you want.
10:33
It's up to you. You're in charge.
10:34
You row your own boat. You row your own boat.
10:37
Okay. But set a schedule and stick to
10:40
it. Say, oh, I'm going to buy 100
10:42
ounces of silver every three months.
10:44
If you're fortunate enough to have that kind of money to do.
10:47
So, Mr. Money bags Right, I'm going to buy 1000 ounces of
10:51
silver every year on November 15th.
10:55
I don't care. Just set a a schedule for
10:58
yourself. It helps take the emotion out of
11:01
the equation. Don't, don't, don't be one of
11:06
those people that chases it, OK? Because that's what happened.
11:11
Unfortunately, and I hope this is not you.
11:13
And everybody makes mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes.
11:18
That includes me. That includes you.
11:20
Everybody except Susie and Coin Shop.
11:22
Chris. Those are the only two people I
11:24
know who never make mistakes. But all the rest of us out here,
11:27
we make mistakes. You know, Coin Shop, Chris,
11:29
right. Integral part of Ron's basement,
11:32
You know, Susie. Susie sitting right above me.
11:35
She's like Jerome Powell right at the She's like the Wizard of
11:38
Oz. Susie controls this whole
11:40
situation. We love Susie.
11:43
Anyway, set a schedule. Stick to a schedule.
11:47
That way you take some of the emotion out of it.
11:50
I would say like once a year, but it's OK.
11:53
But I would do like, once every three months, once every two
11:56
months, something like that, that helps you eliminate.
11:59
Now what about this, this thumbnail that I put out?
12:03
I'm selling 33% of my silver. Is Ron getting out of silver.
12:09
Have a schedule for getting in to silver, but just as
12:14
important, and I'm guilty here as well because I honestly, I
12:17
just started writing it down. So it may be amended, but have a
12:21
schedule for getting out of silver?
12:24
Sure. You bought it with the mindset
12:27
that I'll hold this stuff forever because it's been
12:29
valuable for thousands of years. It's survived every every
12:33
political system, every war that the world is thrown at it.
12:36
I'm going to take a sip of coffee.
12:37
I'll be right back. Don't you leave?
12:46
You need a schedule to get out. Now before we talk about that,
12:48
let's talk about getting into silver.
12:50
If you want a dollar cost average into silver, please
12:54
consider Pinbex, Pi, MB, E, xpinbex.com.
12:59
They're an online bullion dealer.
13:01
They sponsor Ron's basement. They make this and all the
13:05
videos, all the shows possible. I get at least 2 emails a week
13:11
over the last three months from you guys telling me how happy
13:16
you are with Pinbex. Can I leave it at that?
13:19
I can also tell you that I've been very happy with Pinbex.
13:22
I was a customer before they sponsored the show.
13:25
OK, best prices, best selection, best service to me.
13:30
They check all the boxes and if you ever get into the position
13:33
where you think you might want to convert an IRA into silver or
13:37
gold, talk to Pinbex as well, Right?
13:40
I always recommend right Talk to as many people as you want out
13:45
there. Shop around when you're buying
13:46
bullion, but do yourself a favor and check out Pinbex as well.
13:50
I think you'll find what all these people that send me emails
13:54
find and I found as well. You'll get more metal for your
13:59
money with Pinbex Pi MB E xpinbex.com.
14:02
Thank you, Pinbex. You wanna have a plan to get
14:06
out? How are you going to get out of
14:07
silver? It's easy, right?
14:08
It's easy to buy and think oh, let's keep this forever.
14:11
Like I said, I'm. I'm going to dollar cost average
14:14
into silver. Don't put all your money into
14:16
silver or gold, right. Don't do everything all out.
14:21
All right. I'm, you know, everybody's
14:22
different, you know. So I I'm not giving financial
14:25
advice, but I would recommend, at least from my experience, you
14:28
don't want to put everything. I still have a bank account.
14:31
We still you know, but but but know when you're going to get
14:35
out. Now for me as I was thinking
14:38
about this and I'm I'm guilty, OK.
14:41
I am not really practiced what I preached to.
14:44
I'll get out of some silver a third.
14:47
If we get to a silver price of, let's say $65 per oz, I'll get,
14:53
I'll convert from silver into some other real assets, maybe
14:59
some farmland, maybe some oil related investments, maybe some
15:05
real estate, something real, right.
15:08
You don't want to get out and and put money just into paper
15:12
because at that point, right, it's oh boy, you know, it's
15:15
coming. You can feel it, All right.
15:18
I mean, you know what's coming over the next four, 5-6 years
15:20
that that paper money is going to continue to struggle.
15:24
So have a plan. I'll get out of 1/3 right?
15:27
I always say sell a third convert 1/3 and hope you're
15:31
wrong. Hope that the remaining 2/3
15:35
silver goes to $600.00 per oz, $100 per oz, whatever the case
15:39
may be, but have that. Does that make sense?
15:42
All right, Does that make sense? The other thing that that that
15:45
we need to consider when getting out with this plan is you can
15:49
look at price, right? Whatever that means measured in
15:53
U.S. dollars. What's the price of silver
15:55
measured in Confederate dollars? Go ask somebody in Atlanta whose
15:59
great grandpa left him a giant chest full of Confederate
16:02
dollars, right. It's Infinity.
16:05
So the other thing to consider as a exit strategy to silver,
16:10
Chris, I couldn't read that last Ding Dong you threw at me is the
16:13
silver to gold ratio. And what I'm considering and
16:17
I'll be curious what you think is that Right now I don't own
16:21
any physical, very little physical, very, extremely little
16:24
physical gold. But if the silver to gold ratio
16:27
to work were to get down to like 30, right?
16:30
So right now it'll cost you about 90 ounces of silver to buy
16:35
a whole lot. Need more likes Coin Shop Chris
16:37
is mad at you guys. I love you, but coin shop Chris
16:41
is angry with you guys, huh? We need more thumbs up.
16:44
Don't forget guys, press the thumbs up.
16:45
It looks like a thumbs up. That should help you find it.
16:50
And usually it's down there somewhere.
16:52
You may need to minimize your screen.
16:55
Anyway, thank you for the thumbs up.
16:57
It helps us get the word out to more and more people.
17:01
So when you're gonna convert your silver, right?
17:04
Maybe we're talking about how to get the emotions out of this.
17:07
You wanna be at peace, right? You wanna be at peace with what
17:10
you got? Maybe have a dollar Unicorn fart
17:13
dust level where you'll convert some into real assets.
17:16
But also the other thing to consider is when that silver to
17:19
gold ratio drops, if you own a lot more silver than gold.
17:24
So right now if you want to go to your local coin shop and
17:28
trade some silver for one ounce of gold, it's going to take you
17:32
90 oz, roughly 8885 whatever 8086.4 ounces of silver to get
17:39
one ounce of gold. Isn't that crazy?
17:41
I wouldn't do that in a million years.
17:43
That does not feel like. Does that feel like a good
17:45
trade? Do you?
17:47
Here, why don't you bring me 4 tubes of American Silver Eagles
17:54
and a half tube? So 4 1/2 tubes of American
17:57
Silver Eagles and I'll trade you one ounce of gold.
18:00
I mean, I don't have any gold coins here, but if I did, I'd do
18:04
it in a second, right? I mean, it's insane.
18:07
So the other thing to consider is if the silver to gold ratio
18:10
gets down to let's say, and the number that I come up with that
18:13
feels right for me is 30, right? If I can get to a point where I
18:18
can trade 1 1/2 tubes of American Silver Eagles for one
18:23
ounce of gold, sign me up. But again, not with everything.
18:27
Maybe another third of the stack.
18:30
The key here is to think about it, to have a plan, Maybe even
18:35
write a few things down if you learned, if you felt that in
18:38
life. Like if I really want to learn
18:39
something, like if I'm watching a video on how to when when I
18:44
first started the YouTube channel, right, guys, I knew
18:46
nothing. Don't go back and look at my
18:49
videos from three or four years ago.
18:50
I was reviewing all the chips and all kinds of crazy.
18:54
I was doing all kinds of crazy stuff, right?
18:56
I would watch videos about because I wanted to provide you
19:00
with good content so that you would stick around and and and
19:04
and and I realized that what I love is gold and silver.
19:06
What I've been doing for so long is gold and silver.
19:09
Anyway, when I would watch these videos about how to make good
19:12
videos, believe it or not, you might be laughing at this video,
19:18
but I watched a lot of videos about how to make good videos.
19:21
And if you write things down, and what that has to do with you
19:24
right now is I challenge you. When you get a chance, write
19:28
down, write down. If you already have all the
19:31
silver and gold you want, write it out.
19:34
What? What?
19:35
What's your plan for getting out?
19:37
Maybe you never want to get out. But if you do, at some point
19:40
write down your ideas about when, when and under what
19:44
circumstances. And consider things like like
19:48
the dollar value of silver. We don't want to put too much
19:51
emphasis on that. But also consider things like
19:53
the silver to gold ratio. Or maybe, maybe you own a bunch.
19:56
Nothing but gold. I don't know.
19:58
If I own nothing but gold, I'd be converting it personally and
20:01
not giving financial advice. But if I only had gold.
20:04
If you're sitting out there and you've got a stack of 10,
20:08
whatever those things are called One ounce gold buffaloes.
20:11
Right US net you gold bub. Are you right?
20:14
You. And you're you're right.
20:15
Now you're watching. You got your 10.
20:17
I mean, you could get what, 900 ounces of silver?
20:22
Yeah, two monster boxes almost. Anyway.
20:28
Enough about that. Don't go all or nothing.
20:33
That's another key thing. Row your own boat.
20:35
Coin shop. Don't compare.
20:38
Don't compare what you have to what you think I have or what.
20:42
Some guy on the Internet is showing you this giant stack of
20:46
silver and don't compare row your own boat OK.
20:50
Get do your dollar cost averaging comparison is the
20:54
thief of joy. Because you know what I have
20:57
whatever silver I have. If I look at some other guy and
21:01
there's a lot of people out there, I guarantee you probably
21:04
you maybe you even that owns more silver than me.
21:07
I think oh man, that's not I'm sad, you know.
21:12
Oh everybody, right. Well, there's some other guy
21:15
who's got half as much as I have who could look at me and be, you
21:19
know, row your own boat. OK, keep a list.
21:24
I'm big into lists today. We're talking a lot about lists.
21:27
Keep it, keep a list. Why?
21:29
Why you invest in? So cuz these ups and downs, you
21:32
know they can be feel absolutely crazy.
21:36
Hey Jake from Jake's custom part says row, row, row.
21:39
Yes, they can feel crazy. Keep a list of like the top
21:43
five, six. You want the top six.
21:46
I've got my top six fundamental reasons why I feel comfortable
21:50
owning the amount of silver and then also precious metal mining
21:54
stocks that I own #1. It's a real asset you can hold,
21:59
right? It's real.
22:00
I won't show you some. So you know I got silver here.
22:02
I could show you it's real. You can hold it.
22:05
It'll maintain your wealth, your buying power.
22:08
Ask anybody from 500 years ago if they had to come 500 years
22:13
into the future right to right now.
22:16
Would they rather have the paper money that was the the money of
22:21
the day? No, it'd be worthless, right?
22:25
If some dude died 500 years ago. Think about this.
22:29
Your great, great, great grandpa to the 90th degree, right?
22:32
That great we both have might be the same guy if he died and his
22:36
family buried him and they put a bunch of whatever the paper
22:40
currency was back then. Who knows, right?
22:43
German, whatever, French, whatever it is.
22:45
They stuffed the casket with that, and suddenly we were able
22:49
to resurrect him from the dead, right?
22:52
And they could. They either stuffed that casket
22:54
with paper money or they stuffed it with gold and silver coins.
22:59
Suddenly, right now he's back with us.
23:01
What do you think he'd prefer? You know what he'd prefer?
23:05
He'd prefer the metal because it maintained its value.
23:09
He'd wake up and be like, wow, things are a lot better.
23:12
I can basically still buy the same or more with all this
23:17
silver and gold. If you woke up in a bed of paper
23:20
money, he'd be like, he'd bring it to anywhere in the world.
23:22
They'd be like, we don't. Maybe for collector value, but
23:25
they wouldn't even want nobody would want it.
23:27
OK, so remember that it's it maintains there's a finite
23:31
supply. Did we forget about that?
23:33
These are the basics. There's only so much gold on the
23:37
planet. There's only so much silver on
23:40
the planet, and in particular with silver, a lot of it gets
23:44
consumed, blown up, used up, thrown into landfills, You name
23:49
it. OK, it's there's only so much.
23:52
There's an infinite, an infinite supply of paper electronic
23:58
money, of debt, of of, of crypto currencies, right.
24:02
There were like 5000 crypto currencies that came, came
24:05
around during the crypto boom. They can make as many as they
24:09
want. It's infinite.
24:11
You can't make as much silver and gold as you want.
24:14
It's finite, finite, OK, finite. It's outlasted every Fiat money
24:21
system. We know that.
24:22
It's also outlasted every political regime that's come
24:25
around, every economic system. Thank you.
24:27
Metal sear. Oh, yeah.
24:30
You said thank you. Yeah.
24:33
Wow. Yeah.
24:34
Gold is bounced back. Thank you.
24:36
Metal sear. Thank you for that super chat,
24:37
my friend. Super appreciated.
24:39
OK. And and it's a worldwide asset.
24:43
There's, I mean it's been value. Silver and gold have been
24:46
valuable forever, everywhere, in every environment.
24:51
Thank you for that super chat, Alex.
24:53
Hey, Hey. Wow, you guys.
24:55
I appreciate it. Let me have a sip of coffee.
24:57
We got. We're going to talk about the
24:58
Ponzi scheme, but we're going to wrap up the silver and then
25:03
we're going to talk about Ponzi scheme.
25:08
Because I'm sick of this. I'm sick of it.
25:12
I'm not sick of you. No.
25:14
And I really appreciate you joining us today.
25:17
Please, if you've not subscribed to the channel, subscribe.
25:21
We're still having the New Year special.
25:23
It's free to subscribe to Ron's Basement.
25:26
All the content is free. Super chats are always super
25:29
appreciated, never expected. But all you got to do is
25:32
subscribe and and turn on that Bell thing.
25:35
That way you get notified every time.
25:37
Usually I do a live stream somewhere every day around 10:00
25:42
AM unless I got 5 basketball games to go to for my daughter's
25:46
family comes first. I'm sure you can understand
25:48
that. Be prepared with silver and
25:51
gold, guys. It's a rough ride at times.
25:56
And also accept the fact that the price is manipulated.
26:00
OK, that's just the way it is, all right?
26:02
It's a manipulated. The exchange is manipulated.
26:06
It's been proven. Last year we got convictions of
26:08
JP Morgan Chase traders. There's people who have spent
26:12
their career, right. People that we owe a debt of
26:15
gratitude working for the. Thank you, Ron McAdams.
26:20
Wait a minute. I missed the Super champ Metal
26:23
seer. Who else?
26:24
Hold on a minute here. I'm having technical problems.
26:27
Can you guys hear me? Hello.
26:29
Uh oh. Oh, no.
26:33
OK, we're back. All right, Ron, thank you Ron
26:37
McAdams for the Super chat. If I missed another one coin
26:40
shop, Chris. Thank you, CM.
26:42
Howdy. Howdy, Annie Oakley.
26:44
Hey, guys, you know what? We got 315 people here.
26:48
I'd like to see at least 100 of us type 88888 because the
26:54
moderators are great. We got Sassy Silver and Annie
26:59
Oakley with us today. We've got Coin Chop Chris, We've
27:01
got Jake from Jake's custom parts.
27:03
We have Craig Edmonds. And there's one other guy, the
27:06
one and only Coin Chop. Chris.
27:08
Thank you moderators for all you do.
27:11
It is much appreciated. It's manipulated, it's
27:15
manipulated. Remember we called natural gas
27:18
the widow maker. Well, Silver in particular can
27:21
be the widow maker, right? Also, Also, it's lonely out
27:28
there, boys and girls. Remember, we're talking about
27:32
the crazy world, How to remain peaceful and calm as a silver
27:37
and gold investor with Ron from Ron's basement.
27:41
It's lonely out there, right? It's.
27:43
Look, that's why we come to places like this and don't just
27:46
come here, right? There's other places like
27:49
Arcadia, Economics, Yara and Chris Marcus.
27:53
There's bald guy money. There's, there's.
27:56
Look, don't just listen to me, please, please.
28:00
Like, yeah, I like to say I'm my own boss and I got the craziest
28:02
boss in the world, but it is lonely.
28:05
So we have to search for community, especially in the
28:08
Western G7 nations where we most of us abide because we're just
28:14
we're we're the lone wolves, right?
28:16
We're the, we're the people that broke away from the pack and
28:21
went out and and pulled the head out of the sand, right?
28:25
So took our thumbs out of our ears.
28:31
We didn't jump into the fish tank.
28:33
Did you guys hear that? I'll be quick.
28:35
Some guy jumped into the fish tank at a bass pro shops in
28:38
Alabama. You.
28:39
So you think you're crazy? You think I'm crazy?
28:42
We're not that crazy. Some guy stripped naked and
28:45
jumped into the giant fish tank in an Alabama bass pro shops.
28:49
That really happened. You can look it up.
28:51
OK, so we're lonely. Maybe we feel sometimes.
28:56
You know, us humans. We need community.
28:59
That's what's so cool about all of you that join me here in the
29:02
basement. We generally think alike.
29:06
We definitely share a a very common view of the precious
29:11
metals market. So seek out other people that
29:16
that that think the way you do that are willing to challenge
29:19
the status quo, OK. And that's hard, man.
29:22
I understand, right. It'd be a lot easier just to
29:26
turn on the Children's News Network, go upstairs, turn on
29:29
CNN. OK, All right.
29:33
OK. No, you don't do that.
29:37
You are the type person that pulled the covers back, looked
29:41
under the hood, however you wanna say it.
29:43
But that can also be, you need to realize being a creative
29:50
person, right? I would say you're a creative
29:53
person. Can be difficult at times.
29:56
So do all those things. Set a foundation for yourself,
29:59
right, in terms of buying silver and gold, in terms of your
30:02
mental attitude toward it and everything will be OK You guys
30:06
want to hear about a Ponzi, right?
30:09
We're going to talk about the great taking, right?
30:11
That idea that the that there's this, this set up going on that
30:16
could actually result in all of our assets being taken.
30:20
But I want to talk about a Ponzi first.
30:22
OK, Hold on one second. Let me have a quick drink of
30:25
coffee. Thank you.
30:26
We got 200 thumbs up. Let's do the bell.
30:31
This is a bell warning. So for the guy that runs the
30:36
intercom system at JP Morgan Chase, because we we know that
30:40
you're all listening, you may want to turn the intercom off
30:42
for one second Jake from Jake's Custom parts,
30:59
we ring the cowbell at 200 thumbs up, and it's just
31:02
something we do here in the basement, 350 people.
31:06
Thank you, guys. Thank you for all the thumbs up.
31:09
Let's talk about Apple Computer. You want to hear about a Ponzi
31:12
scheme? OK.
31:13
Just just stay with me here for a second, because I'm telling
31:17
you right, gold and silver are undervalued, Silver in
31:23
particular. A lot of smart people say silver
31:27
is the most undervalued asset on the face of the earth.
31:30
The opposite of that is Apple computer stock.
31:33
Do you own it? You do probably own some, either
31:37
directly or indirectly. Maybe you have some money in a
31:39
four O 1K. Maybe you own it outright.
31:42
I don't know. Look, I'm not giving financial
31:44
advice. I'm just telling you what I see
31:47
when I look at a company like Apple Computer and compare it to
31:51
the value of silver and gold and the value of precious metal
31:55
mining stocks in particular. This is mind blowing guys.
31:59
This is mind blowing. And yes, I have a degree in
32:04
accounting, so I know what I'm talking about, but I'm going to
32:07
make this very simple for you, OK.
32:09
Apple Computer, the company, OK. If you, if you take all their
32:15
assets, everything they own, and then you pay off all their debt,
32:20
OK. So you, you take all their
32:22
assets, you pay off all the debt they own.
32:24
They only have $60 billion in assets that's called net
32:29
tangible assets, OK. Pay off all their debt.
32:32
There's 60 billion left. The total value of the company
32:36
on the Stock Exchange, The value of all the stock.
32:39
Like if you wanted to buy out the entire company of Apple,
32:45
almost $3 trillion. OK, so they have 60 billion in
32:50
assets when you pay off all their debt.
32:53
OK. But a value of $3 trillion that
32:58
means that of that means that the value of their assets is
33:03
only 2% of the entire value market cap is a technical fancy
33:09
way to say to the company, OK. So that means that for each one
33:15
share of Apple, that's around $180.
33:18
OK, per share, for each share that you own or anybody owns,
33:23
there's for $180 there's only $3.60 worth of real assets.
33:30
That means if you own a share of Apple stock, you think it's
33:34
worth $180. But the real assets that back up
33:38
the company of that 180 are only $3.60.
33:44
So that other what $175 and value is just make believe.
33:50
Oh, Apple's the best company in the world.
33:52
Apples, a tech company. And tech is the future and Apple
33:57
has this ecosystem that could never be penetrated.
34:01
Well, talk to the people at companies like Xerox or IBM or
34:05
any other number of companies that in the past have enjoyed
34:09
that same aura around them. If you own a share of Apple
34:14
stock for $180, you have $3.50 worth of assets.
34:20
The rest is hot air. Make believe Apple's gonna go on
34:24
forever and be the even bigger biggest company.
34:27
How much bigger can they get? OK, so that to me, to me, and to
34:33
a certain degree makes it a Ponzi scheme.
34:35
You got a bunch of people every day who trade millions of shares
34:39
of stock, right? It's kind of like the game of
34:42
musical chairs. Like, OK, I'll sell you.
34:44
OK, Bob, you know, and then just add, blah, blah, blah.
34:47
There's nothing real backing it up.
34:49
Very little, very, very, very, very, very little real backing
34:54
it up. OK.
34:56
And that's not just Apple. It's a number of companies.
34:59
Facebook's probably the same. Microsoft, to a certain degree
35:02
is also the same. It's just the value, right, the
35:06
value of the company. The price is based on a bunch of
35:11
nothing but hot air. And you hear people talk about
35:13
that with the Magnificent 7. Thank you Metal Sear, he says.
35:19
Oh yes, OK, yes, Metal Seer. I'm going to, I'm going to
35:25
interrupt this program to comment.
35:27
Metal Seer gave a super chat that's super appreciated, but he
35:29
also shared a critical piece of information.
35:32
He recommends you read Multicultural Mercantilism by
35:37
Miss Tyson, which projects what will happen now that the 50 year
35:42
Petro dollar is dying. I watched a great 12 minute
35:45
video with this Miss Tyson. She worked for the New York Fed.
35:48
She's very smart. She set up financial systems all
35:52
over the world at the world's biggest central banks.
35:56
Write that down guys, Multicultural Mercantilism.
36:00
And later on today search that up on YouTube.
36:04
Or better yet, read what he's talking about.
36:06
This woman is legit, OK, very legit and knows what she's
36:11
talking about. So are we in a Ponzi?
36:14
I would call it a Ponzi, right? If it's just a bunch of people
36:17
trading Apple stock that makes the value go where it is.
36:21
But really, underneath there's nothing.
36:23
It's just new money coming in to pay off the people that want to
36:26
but want to sell, right? It's completely different, by
36:28
the way with precious metal mining stocks like like one that
36:33
happens to sponsor Ron's Basement, Fortuna silver mines.
36:37
When you look at their net tangible assets, they have
36:42
what's called a fortress balance sheet, very little debt, OK, a
36:46
lot of assets and very little debt.
36:49
And when you compare their assets to the market cap of the
36:53
company, it's completely different.
36:56
Honestly, I haven't done it for three or four or five weeks, but
36:59
there was a point in time not too long ago where the assets of
37:03
the company after you paid off the debt were more than what the
37:08
stock market had had valued it at, right?
37:12
In the case of Apple, it's like 2%, right?
37:15
The the value of the actual assets is in the case of
37:18
Fortuna, at that point it was over 100%, OK?
37:23
And to replace those assets at a company like Fortuna, They're a
37:26
global gold and silver mining company.
37:29
To replace those assets to rebuild all those mines would
37:33
likely cost more than what they're carrying them on on
37:37
their books now. I'm not giving financial advice.
37:39
I've all. I've owned Fortuna silver stock
37:42
for years and years before. It's like Pinbex, right?
37:45
I worked with Pinbex before they sponsored the channel.
37:49
I own Fortuna for years before they sponsored the channel.
37:53
I'm not giving financial advice. I'm just sharing with you some
37:56
facts about the company and and you can dig in for yourself if
38:01
you like. You can go to fortunasilver.com.
38:05
Where was I? OK, so we got that Ponzi.
38:08
We got the Tyson. What about the great taking this
38:11
guy he's legit. He's telling us right.
38:14
And here let's read this is this is This is why I bring this up.
38:18
Can your assets be seized? Can the government can big
38:22
business Can the banking sector. It's probably more like the
38:25
banking sector. Seize your assets.
38:28
Well, well, well. Zero Hedge is a very popular
38:33
website that kind of gives a different view on what's going
38:38
on in the financial world and also geopolitically throughout
38:42
the world. Their top story today, the great
38:46
taking, exposes the financial end game.
38:51
It's all about taking of collateral.
38:54
Remember your house that you think you own?
38:57
My house That I think. How would that make you feel?
38:59
Like you think you own it? You paid your mortgage off, but
39:02
it could be used as collateral. Your car that you think you own,
39:06
that you paid off, could be used as collateral to back up.
39:10
These banks that have all these quadrillions of derivatives
39:14
amongst themselves, Apparently there's laws that have been
39:17
written that make that the case. That's the scary thing.
39:21
Let me read what what? Zero Hedge.
39:23
We've talked about The Great Taking again.
39:25
There's a free book and a free documentary you can watch one of
39:28
the very best exposes of the covert, well hidden, bellicose
39:34
attempts to rob you and me all of humanity, barring the
39:38
minuscule number of psychotic individuals comprising the
39:43
amicable opposition of their of their material possessions and
39:49
their immaterial freedom. OK, wow.
39:52
Written by David Webb. That guy really went in here.
39:56
He entered. You want to hear this?
39:57
He introduces the book on page one in Uncomfortable here.
40:01
Sit down. I'm going to read this to you
40:04
quickly. This is about our assets
40:06
supposedly potentially and and the guy that that is behind all
40:11
this is let's just say legit, OK?
40:17
Taking of our assets. You ready?
40:19
What is the book about? It's about the taking of
40:21
collateral. All of it.
40:23
The end game of this globally synchronous, synchronous debt
40:29
accumulation super cycle. This is being executed by long
40:34
planned Intelligent Design, the audacity and scope of which is
40:38
difficult for the mind to encompass.
40:42
OK, Included are all financial assets, all money on deposited
40:46
banks, all stocks and bonds, and hence all underlying property of
40:51
all public corporations, including inventory, plant and
40:55
equipment, land, mineral deposits, inventions,
40:59
intellectual property, privately owned personal and real property
41:05
financed with any amount of debt will similarly be taken.
41:10
And as will the assets of privately owned businesses which
41:14
have been financed with debt. If even partially successful,
41:18
this will be the greatest conquest and subjugation in
41:21
world history. We are now living within a
41:24
hybrid war conducted almost entirely by deception and thus
41:29
designed to achieve war aims and little with little energy input.
41:33
It's a war of conquest directed not against other nation states
41:37
but against all of humanity. That's the great taking.
41:40
All right. Well, none of that.
41:42
Read it. If you're interested in it.
41:44
You know, I I it it's it's a scary situation.
41:48
What about Bitcoin? Everybody's talking about
41:49
Bitcoin. Bitcoin.
41:50
Bitcoin stole the Thunder of gold and silver over the last
41:54
year. Everybody's still talking about
41:56
Bitcoin because Bitcoin is going to have an ETF come out.
42:00
Well, there's a there's a little bit of a of a bad part of that
42:04
story, OK? Because that's going to put
42:08
Bitcoin in the hands of the big ET, the big financial services
42:13
companies, companies like BlackRock, OK, the big guys,
42:18
Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, OK, we're talking about Bitcoin
42:25
ETFs, OK, Will they really buy Bitcoin?
42:29
Will it be like SLVETFGLDETF run by BlackRock, where a lot of
42:35
people and people have apparently proven the fact that
42:39
the SOVETF doesn't always own all the silver that it purports
42:44
to own? All right, what about I got Coin
42:49
Shop Chris's blood pressure going up?
42:52
What about GLD? Same thing.
42:54
What about this? Is the fact with these Bitcoin,
42:57
this is everything that the Bitcoin people are against?
43:00
Regulation, Big government, the SEC, blah, blah blah.
43:06
Big financial institutions, the big banks.
43:09
A Bitcoin ETF, which now they're all cheering for, is going to be
43:14
going exactly against what they all are.
43:17
So against big government, right?
43:20
Check. It'll be regulated.
43:21
Big financial institutions? Check.
43:24
Right. It doesn't make any sense.
43:26
ETFs invite big finance, central bankers, politicians and
43:32
regulators. So look, there's no doubt about
43:35
it. Bitcoin in particular has stolen
43:37
some of the Thunder from our friends Silver and Gold.
43:41
I'm not an anti bitcoiner. The one good thing about crypto
43:44
and Bitcoin is it introduced a lot of people to the horrors of
43:50
big banking, of big government, of money printing, right of of
43:56
the of the financial system in general.
43:59
But now they're all rooting, they're all rooting that they
44:05
can become part of that's very same finance.
44:07
It doesn't make any sense. And I got a little one more last
44:11
thing to say about that. A lot of people are saying that
44:14
once that ETF gets announced, it's a buy the rumor, sell the
44:19
new situation. So hold on to your bitcoins.
44:22
If indeed that ETF does come to fruition, OK, what do we have
44:27
coming up this week, guys? We've got some big financial,
44:30
it's kind of a big financial week.
44:32
Hold on here. I wanted to run through just a
44:34
few of these quick headlines so you're prepared.
44:37
You know what's coming. All right, hold on here.
44:41
Bear with me. Something about our.
44:43
We're not going to talk about that.
44:44
TikTok. Doctor says it's OK to be fat.
44:47
All right, well, that's a good headline.
44:50
Key events this week, Earnings season kicks off.
44:54
We know what we're heading into it with the US economy, but I
44:58
still wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of BS quote, UN
45:01
quote, good earnings numbers come out this week and I need to
45:07
talk to you guys about New Hampshire and gold and silver
45:10
legal tender oil. Here we go.
45:11
This is the one I wanted. Oil Plunges After Saudi Arabia
45:16
cuts oil price for February amid persistent weakness, Oil is the
45:21
lifeblood of the world economy. Everything what you're looking
45:26
at me on right now is likely made out of plastics and oil.
45:30
Oil is energy. Oil is everything.
45:32
The Saudis are saying that they're seeing weakness in the
45:36
oil market, so they're cutting prices.
45:39
OK, the economy is slowing down. All right, Apple, the world's
45:46
one of the world's biggest Ponzi schemes, Jeffries says. iPhone
45:53
sales in China plunged. OK, says quote our industry chat
45:58
checks show Android stayed about flat, but iPhone sales were down
46:03
30% last week, 30%. OK, that's as Apple goes.
46:11
So does a lot of the S&P 500, because it's unbelievable how
46:16
much of the S&P 500 is made-up of those seven big stocks, of
46:20
which Apple is either the biggest or one of the biggest.
46:24
Let's move on. Let's move on here.
46:28
What about the Middle East shipping giant halts container
46:32
shipments to Israel? OK, a source told Bloomberg that
46:36
Costco bookings to in Israel will end next week.
46:40
We talked yesterday about in the north from Lebanon, Hezbollah.
46:45
I think it is sending rockets into the whole Middle East
46:50
situation is a big, big, big powder powder keg, powder powder
46:54
peg, counter, peg, powder keg. You know what I'm trying to say?
47:00
Bear with me, guys. Bear with me.
47:03
I want to mention to you, and I'll have information about this
47:06
in the description. It's already in the description
47:08
of this video. Our friend Daniel Tinkum will be
47:11
testifying for you. Yes, you, tomorrow at the New
47:16
Hampshire Legislative Building at 11:00 local time.
47:21
Again, that's the New Hampshire Legislative Building, not New
47:24
Hampshire. I've got it right now.
47:26
New Hampshire. Daniel Tinkum is a regular
47:30
contributor to The Basement, Super successful smart guy.
47:34
They are working on HB1674 legal tender legislation in New
47:41
Hampshire. OK, you can go.
47:43
It's open to the public. I can't go because it's like a
47:47
17 hour drive for me and I have a family and another job that I
47:52
have to do on top of this joy that I get spending time with
47:56
you down here in the basement. But if you want to go and you
47:59
want to support you're in the northeast legal tender
48:02
legislation. Again.
48:04
I have some information you can go to Daniel Tinkum's website
48:08
and there's some links that I put it again in the in the
48:10
description as well that you can that you can check out.
48:14
OK, guys, what did I forget? I'm always forgetting something.
48:19
Bear with me here. Hello.
48:22
OK, there we are. So we, we live in challenging
48:31
times. We're dealing with an asset
48:34
class gold and silver that can be very, very volatile.
48:39
OK, we need to have a plan again, I recommend writing
48:44
things down. Know why you bought gold and
48:47
silver. Know what you will do if if you
48:52
are a person who thinks you may convert some to other assets in
48:55
the future, have a plan for that as well.
48:57
OK, world is crazy. We've we've established that ad
49:03
nauseam. We will be prepared for no no
49:08
matter what they throw at us As we now head into, you know, this
49:12
early part of 2024, most of us are in agreement that silver and
49:18
gold are a great way to hedge to protect ourselves against what
49:22
could be some very interesting times.
49:24
You know that I'll be here for you through it all.
49:27
I appreciate you joining me today and thank you to all the
49:30
moderators and I'll see you guys tomorrow.
49:32
Thank you.
