- 0:00How do you navigate as a silver and gold investor?
- 0:04What is often extreme volatility within the precious metal
- 0:09sector? Silver and gold, and the
- 0:12precious metal mining stocks in particular, can have some
- 0:15radical crazy moves. How do we deal with that?
- 0:20We'll focus in initially on the metals, silver and gold.
- 0:24Some things you can do to make sure you don't get run through
- 0:28the emotional wringer, but but we've got a lot more to talk
- 0:31about as well. A Ponzi scheme, Yes, the P word
- 0:35Ponzi scheme that you possibly could be somehow involved with.
- 0:40Me as well. I'm going to talk about that.
- 0:43It has to do with a fruit and your phone.
- 0:47I'll leave it at that. Next up, we're going to talk
- 0:50about Bitcoin. There's bitcoins all over and
- 0:53talk briefly about Bitcoin and why all this bit Bitcoin has has
- 0:58can did you notice that has stolen a bit of the the shine
- 1:03from silver and gold over the last 10 years?
- 1:05We got some news on Bitcoin, some insightful information
- 1:08about what's going on with Bitcoin and how that could turn
- 1:12into a possible catalyst for gold and silver also later in
- 1:17this year and we're going to talk about other the great
- 1:19taking right that fact that they can take all your assets.
- 1:22We're going to touch on that. Q4 earnings are coming up.
- 1:25Oil, oil, oil, big news in the oil patch, iPhone sales and
- 1:33Middle East news again pointing us toward this fact that we've
- 1:38got geopolitical turmoil. We got a lot to cover.
- 1:40That's a lot. Don't forget this Wednesday I'll
- 1:43be putting out a video, a giveaway video.
- 1:45There'll be a link to it and every video I put out subsequent
- 1:48where all you have to do is go to that video, leave a comment,
- 1:51it'll say thanks, Pinbex, our sponsor who's helping sponsor
- 1:56the giveaway and you'll be automatically entered.
- 1:59It's going to be at least 20 ounces of silver.
- 2:03I'll be throughout the week kind of showing you what's involved
- 2:06and in that video showing you as well.
- 2:08So don't forget it'll be on Valentine's Day.
- 2:11I almost forgot to say that. I apologize.
- 2:14I appreciate you guys. So bummer when your kids lose 5
- 2:17games in a row. I'm.
- 2:18I'm always, I'm telling people like these parents take sports
- 2:22too seriously. But five games in a row?
- 2:25I mean, my gosh. Anyway, what do you need to do
- 2:29to be prepared to navigate the volatility that you will
- 2:33experience in the silver and gold sector?
- 2:36I've got some concrete ideas, OK, so that we can feel good
- 2:40even on days like today. I woke up at 5:00 AM, wide
- 2:44awake. That happens sometimes, right?
- 2:46I won't say I was necessarily really more anxious than normal.
- 2:49I'm usually anxious in the morning.
- 2:51I have a lot of energy when I wake up.
- 2:53And anyway, I woke up at 5:00 and I'm like, well, there's no
- 2:55going back to bed now. I checked the gold price down
- 2:58$26 per oz. It's like, oh, great, what a
- 3:02wonderful way to start the week. Right?
- 3:06But you've gotta be prepared for days like that, for mornings
- 3:10like that. I'm gonna take a look right now.
- 3:11Let's do an up right now. Spot price of gold.
- 3:15Where are we now? Hey, All right, man, it looks
- 3:19like it's only down $9.40, right?
- 3:22So this morning, what? Five hours ago, I was laying in
- 3:25bed. I could have panicked, right?
- 3:27No, I was, you know, not happy about it.
- 3:29We got to be prepared. I'm going to tell you some
- 3:32things you can do to be prepared for these crazy ups and downs.
- 3:37Let's check the silver price. Live.
- 3:39Live in the basement. We're live, guys. 200 of us.
- 3:43Thank you for the thumbs up, man.
- 3:44That's awesome. Let's get to 300 today so we can
- 3:47ring the golden gong. Huh.
- 3:50We got a lot to cover. I know.
- 3:52I'm dilly dallying around. Looks like silver is down.
- 3:56Nothing. I can't really tell what's this
- 3:58say? Says down .02%, so silvers
- 4:02$23.17 in the spot market it was down I think almost like $0.25
- 4:08when I looked. How do you deal with, how do you
- 4:11deal with it? OK, everybody's different,
- 4:13right? You're you are an individual.
- 4:16Some people are like, well, I like when the price goes down,
- 4:18that means I can buy more. I like, blah, blah.
- 4:20Well, I already got enough. A lot of us do and I don't think
- 4:25anybody really wants the price of silver and gold to go down.
- 4:30How can we do it? Number one, I got it all for you
- 4:33here. Get out of pen and paper.
- 4:34By the time you're done, you're going to be, you're going to be
- 4:36more peaceful and it in harmony with yourself and it harmony
- 4:41with your silver and gold investment.
- 4:45This is the silver and gold self help show.
- 4:48Welcome to the basement. OK, number one, you have to be
- 4:51mentally prepared. You have to accept the fact that
- 4:54silver and gold are volatile assets.
- 4:57OK, I can't stress this enough because I've struggled with it
- 5:01more than almost probably anybody you'll ever meet.
- 5:04I follow the gold price up and down, but you've got to, at your
- 5:08core, accept the fact that silver can make wild moves.
- 5:13Silver in particular. Natural gas is another one, I
- 5:17guess. Apparently the traders that
- 5:18trade natural gas, call it the widow maker.
- 5:21Silver can be a bit of a widow maker as well, right?
- 5:24Heart attack. We don't want to have a heart
- 5:25attack over the silver price. I'll give you an example.
- 5:29Right now we're sitting at what, $23 per oz on silver?
- 5:33We talked about this in a previous live stream.
- 5:36I can guarantee you absolutely you want one guarantee about the
- 5:40silver price from where we are right now, $23 per oz.
- 5:44I can guarantee you 100% that at some point in the future, this
- 5:50is the one prediction that will come true.
- 5:53From $23 will either be $4.00 higher at 27 or OK, we'll be at
- 6:00$19.00. We're going to hit one of those
- 6:03first, right? I think it's going to be to the
- 6:06upside, but it could be to the downside.
- 6:08And we have to be mentally prepared that anything is within
- 6:12the realm of possibilities. Hello Zook, thank you for the
- 6:16Super Chad. Zook says sorry, you'll have to
- 6:18exchange my crappy currency into your crappy currency.
- 6:23Yeah, no joke. That's I love exchange.
- 6:25We talk about silver and gold Zook coin shop.
- 6:29Chris and I like to use the term convert, right?
- 6:32You can convert your Unicorn fart dust, your paper money,
- 6:35whatever you want to call it. They can print that stuff ad
- 6:38nauseam. You can convert your paper money
- 6:42into real metal, into this. Here's a three ounce silver
- 6:46heart. OK, this came from bison
- 6:50bullion. I think it is something like
- 6:51that. People always ask me.
- 6:53I don't know if you can buy them online or not.
- 6:54It's a 3 oz Silver Heart. It's a great.
- 6:56It's a Valentine's gift to Susie that I've absconded.
- 6:59Is that the word? Absconded?
- 7:01I'm so bad with the words hegemony.
- 7:05Anyway, I took down here in the basement.
- 7:07It's crazy the let us convert paper into real metal.
- 7:12That's been valuable and that's not what this is about.
- 7:14This is about your emotional well-being as a silver and gold
- 7:19investor. All right.
- 7:20And some tools you can use. Only acquire the silver.
- 7:24I'm a silver stacker, but this goes for gold as well, With
- 7:28money that you think you'll never need.
- 7:31OK, only buy silver with money that you think you'll never
- 7:36need, right? Not money that you think you're
- 7:39gonna need in two months to pay your car insurance.
- 7:43Not money that you think you're going to need at the end of the
- 7:46month to pay the electric bill, right.
- 7:48Not money that you think you're going to need, maybe even in a
- 7:51year or two, for whatever expense that might come up.
- 7:55If you only use money that you think you'll never need that you
- 7:59can just hold on to, like when you buy silver or gold.
- 8:02It's generational. I hear a lot of people say that
- 8:05and I I never really realized, but that's the way I think of it
- 8:08as well. When I buy metal, I think about
- 8:11I'm not, I don't ever want to sell it.
- 8:13I have this wonderful warm feeling that at some point when
- 8:17I'm an old man, right, And I'll still be making a video every
- 8:20day. Don't you worry either a live
- 8:22stream or a video. I promise.
- 8:24I promise anyway, that when I'm an old man, I'll be able to pass
- 8:28that along to children and grandchildren, right?
- 8:31I wish my great grandpa had done that right.
- 8:34It would be awesome, right? But you know, and I I love my
- 8:37relatives. But nonetheless, you only want
- 8:39to use money that you think you're never going to need.
- 8:41That you can hold on to forever. OK.
- 8:44Forever and ever, at least. I mean, you never know what's
- 8:47going to happen. You know how life goes, right?
- 8:49You got the same life. We're all in the same boat,
- 8:52right? There's stuff happens.
- 8:55We know that. Thank you.
- 8:56Coin shop. Chris, We got to 100.
- 8:57Thumbs up. Let's do that right away.
- 9:00Sorry, I have to interrupt this broadcast because we have 100
- 9:04thumbs up and that means we ring the bell 10 times.
- 9:07That means if you don't like bells, mute your earbuds.
- 9:10Or however you're listening to me, I may be being broadcast
- 9:14across the intercom system at JP Morgan Chase or Goldman Sachs.
- 9:18Wherever you are, If you don't like bells, please mute.
- 9:27Thank you. So you only want to use money,
- 9:30right, that you think you'll never need that you could like
- 9:32bury in the backyard or whatever.
- 9:34Like a stack of think of like a stack of let's say $10,000.
- 9:39Let's say you somebody, somebody delivered a stack of $10,000 to
- 9:43your front door and they said you can do whatever you want
- 9:46with this money, but you can't spend it.
- 9:48You got right. Put it in silver, bury it and
- 9:51forget about it. Let your kids have it.
- 9:53That's security. That's what it is.
- 9:55Okay. Now the other big thing you can
- 9:57do dollar cost, average. We can't emphasize this enough.
- 10:01Okay. That helps take the emotion out
- 10:04of it. A lot of people rush into silver
- 10:07and gold when the prices are skyrocketing, especially silver.
- 10:11Silver is a momentum, people. Oh, silver is going up.
- 10:14Silver is going up. I got to run to Costco and get
- 10:16some silver. Well, they don't have any, but
- 10:18nonetheless, everybody wants silver when silver is going up.
- 10:23Dollar cost, average. Tell yourself here, here's the
- 10:25way you can do it. Every two months, every three
- 10:28months, every month, every six months.
- 10:31I don't care. Whatever schedule you want.
- 10:33It's up to you. You're in charge.
- 10:34You row your own boat. You row your own boat.
- 10:37Okay. But set a schedule and stick to
- 10:40it. Say, oh, I'm going to buy 100
- 10:42ounces of silver every three months.
- 10:44If you're fortunate enough to have that kind of money to do.
- 10:47So, Mr. Money bags Right, I'm going to buy 1000 ounces of
- 10:51silver every year on November 15th.
- 10:55I don't care. Just set a a schedule for
- 10:58yourself. It helps take the emotion out of
- 11:01the equation. Don't, don't, don't be one of
- 11:06those people that chases it, OK? Because that's what happened.
- 11:11Unfortunately, and I hope this is not you.
- 11:13And everybody makes mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes.
- 11:18That includes me. That includes you.
- 11:20Everybody except Susie and Coin Shop.
- 11:22Chris. Those are the only two people I
- 11:24know who never make mistakes. But all the rest of us out here,
- 11:27we make mistakes. You know, Coin Shop, Chris,
- 11:29right. Integral part of Ron's basement,
- 11:32You know, Susie. Susie sitting right above me.
- 11:35She's like Jerome Powell right at the She's like the Wizard of
- 11:38Oz. Susie controls this whole
- 11:40situation. We love Susie.
- 11:43Anyway, set a schedule. Stick to a schedule.
- 11:47That way you take some of the emotion out of it.
- 11:50I would say like once a year, but it's OK.
- 11:53But I would do like, once every three months, once every two
- 11:56months, something like that, that helps you eliminate.
- 11:59Now what about this, this thumbnail that I put out?
- 12:03I'm selling 33% of my silver. Is Ron getting out of silver.
- 12:09Have a schedule for getting in to silver, but just as
- 12:14important, and I'm guilty here as well because I honestly, I
- 12:17just started writing it down. So it may be amended, but have a
- 12:21schedule for getting out of silver?
- 12:24Sure. You bought it with the mindset
- 12:27that I'll hold this stuff forever because it's been
- 12:29valuable for thousands of years. It's survived every every
- 12:33political system, every war that the world is thrown at it.
- 12:36I'm going to take a sip of coffee.
- 12:37I'll be right back. Don't you leave?
- 12:46You need a schedule to get out. Now before we talk about that,
- 12:48let's talk about getting into silver.
- 12:50If you want a dollar cost average into silver, please
- 12:54consider Pinbex, Pi, MB, E, xpinbex.com.
- 12:59They're an online bullion dealer.
- 13:01They sponsor Ron's basement. They make this and all the
- 13:05videos, all the shows possible. I get at least 2 emails a week
- 13:11over the last three months from you guys telling me how happy
- 13:16you are with Pinbex. Can I leave it at that?
- 13:19I can also tell you that I've been very happy with Pinbex.
- 13:22I was a customer before they sponsored the show.
- 13:25OK, best prices, best selection, best service to me.
- 13:30They check all the boxes and if you ever get into the position
- 13:33where you think you might want to convert an IRA into silver or
- 13:37gold, talk to Pinbex as well, Right?
- 13:40I always recommend right Talk to as many people as you want out
- 13:45there. Shop around when you're buying
- 13:46bullion, but do yourself a favor and check out Pinbex as well.
- 13:50I think you'll find what all these people that send me emails
- 13:54find and I found as well. You'll get more metal for your
- 13:59money with Pinbex Pi MB E xpinbex.com.
- 14:02Thank you, Pinbex. You wanna have a plan to get
- 14:06out? How are you going to get out of
- 14:07silver? It's easy, right?
- 14:08It's easy to buy and think oh, let's keep this forever.
- 14:11Like I said, I'm. I'm going to dollar cost average
- 14:14into silver. Don't put all your money into
- 14:16silver or gold, right. Don't do everything all out.
- 14:21All right. I'm, you know, everybody's
- 14:22different, you know. So I I'm not giving financial
- 14:25advice, but I would recommend, at least from my experience, you
- 14:28don't want to put everything. I still have a bank account.
- 14:31We still you know, but but but know when you're going to get
- 14:35out. Now for me as I was thinking
- 14:38about this and I'm I'm guilty, OK.
- 14:41I am not really practiced what I preached to.
- 14:44I'll get out of some silver a third.
- 14:47If we get to a silver price of, let's say $65 per oz, I'll get,
- 14:53I'll convert from silver into some other real assets, maybe
- 14:59some farmland, maybe some oil related investments, maybe some
- 15:05real estate, something real, right.
- 15:08You don't want to get out and and put money just into paper
- 15:12because at that point, right, it's oh boy, you know, it's
- 15:15coming. You can feel it, All right.
- 15:18I mean, you know what's coming over the next four, 5-6 years
- 15:20that that paper money is going to continue to struggle.
- 15:24So have a plan. I'll get out of 1/3 right?
- 15:27I always say sell a third convert 1/3 and hope you're
- 15:31wrong. Hope that the remaining 2/3
- 15:35silver goes to $600.00 per oz, $100 per oz, whatever the case
- 15:39may be, but have that. Does that make sense?
- 15:42All right, Does that make sense? The other thing that that that
- 15:45we need to consider when getting out with this plan is you can
- 15:49look at price, right? Whatever that means measured in
- 15:53U.S. dollars. What's the price of silver
- 15:55measured in Confederate dollars? Go ask somebody in Atlanta whose
- 15:59great grandpa left him a giant chest full of Confederate
- 16:02dollars, right. It's Infinity.
- 16:05So the other thing to consider as a exit strategy to silver,
- 16:10Chris, I couldn't read that last Ding Dong you threw at me is the
- 16:13silver to gold ratio. And what I'm considering and
- 16:17I'll be curious what you think is that Right now I don't own
- 16:21any physical, very little physical, very, extremely little
- 16:24physical gold. But if the silver to gold ratio
- 16:27to work were to get down to like 30, right?
- 16:30So right now it'll cost you about 90 ounces of silver to buy
- 16:35a whole lot. Need more likes Coin Shop Chris
- 16:37is mad at you guys. I love you, but coin shop Chris
- 16:41is angry with you guys, huh? We need more thumbs up.
- 16:44Don't forget guys, press the thumbs up.
- 16:45It looks like a thumbs up. That should help you find it.
- 16:50And usually it's down there somewhere.
- 16:52You may need to minimize your screen.
- 16:55Anyway, thank you for the thumbs up.
- 16:57It helps us get the word out to more and more people.
- 17:01So when you're gonna convert your silver, right?
- 17:04Maybe we're talking about how to get the emotions out of this.
- 17:07You wanna be at peace, right? You wanna be at peace with what
- 17:10you got? Maybe have a dollar Unicorn fart
- 17:13dust level where you'll convert some into real assets.
- 17:16But also the other thing to consider is when that silver to
- 17:19gold ratio drops, if you own a lot more silver than gold.
- 17:24So right now if you want to go to your local coin shop and
- 17:28trade some silver for one ounce of gold, it's going to take you
- 17:3290 oz, roughly 8885 whatever 8086.4 ounces of silver to get
- 17:39one ounce of gold. Isn't that crazy?
- 17:41I wouldn't do that in a million years.
- 17:43That does not feel like. Does that feel like a good
- 17:45trade? Do you?
- 17:47Here, why don't you bring me 4 tubes of American Silver Eagles
- 17:54and a half tube? So 4 1/2 tubes of American
- 17:57Silver Eagles and I'll trade you one ounce of gold.
- 18:00I mean, I don't have any gold coins here, but if I did, I'd do
- 18:04it in a second, right? I mean, it's insane.
- 18:07So the other thing to consider is if the silver to gold ratio
- 18:10gets down to let's say, and the number that I come up with that
- 18:13feels right for me is 30, right? If I can get to a point where I
- 18:18can trade 1 1/2 tubes of American Silver Eagles for one
- 18:23ounce of gold, sign me up. But again, not with everything.
- 18:27Maybe another third of the stack.
- 18:30The key here is to think about it, to have a plan, Maybe even
- 18:35write a few things down if you learned, if you felt that in
- 18:38life. Like if I really want to learn
- 18:39something, like if I'm watching a video on how to when when I
- 18:44first started the YouTube channel, right, guys, I knew
- 18:46nothing. Don't go back and look at my
- 18:49videos from three or four years ago.
- 18:50I was reviewing all the chips and all kinds of crazy.
- 18:54I was doing all kinds of crazy stuff, right?
- 18:56I would watch videos about because I wanted to provide you
- 19:00with good content so that you would stick around and and and
- 19:04and and I realized that what I love is gold and silver.
- 19:06What I've been doing for so long is gold and silver.
- 19:09Anyway, when I would watch these videos about how to make good
- 19:12videos, believe it or not, you might be laughing at this video,
- 19:18but I watched a lot of videos about how to make good videos.
- 19:21And if you write things down, and what that has to do with you
- 19:24right now is I challenge you. When you get a chance, write
- 19:28down, write down. If you already have all the
- 19:31silver and gold you want, write it out.
- 19:34What? What?
- 19:35What's your plan for getting out?
- 19:37Maybe you never want to get out. But if you do, at some point
- 19:40write down your ideas about when, when and under what
- 19:44circumstances. And consider things like like
- 19:48the dollar value of silver. We don't want to put too much
- 19:51emphasis on that. But also consider things like
- 19:53the silver to gold ratio. Or maybe, maybe you own a bunch.
- 19:56Nothing but gold. I don't know.
- 19:58If I own nothing but gold, I'd be converting it personally and
- 20:01not giving financial advice. But if I only had gold.
- 20:04If you're sitting out there and you've got a stack of 10,
- 20:08whatever those things are called One ounce gold buffaloes.
- 20:11Right US net you gold bub. Are you right?
- 20:14You. And you're you're right.
- 20:15Now you're watching. You got your 10.
- 20:17I mean, you could get what, 900 ounces of silver?
- 20:22Yeah, two monster boxes almost. Anyway.
- 20:28Enough about that. Don't go all or nothing.
- 20:33That's another key thing. Row your own boat.
- 20:35Coin shop. Don't compare.
- 20:38Don't compare what you have to what you think I have or what.
- 20:42Some guy on the Internet is showing you this giant stack of
- 20:46silver and don't compare row your own boat OK.
- 20:50Get do your dollar cost averaging comparison is the
- 20:54thief of joy. Because you know what I have
- 20:57whatever silver I have. If I look at some other guy and
- 21:01there's a lot of people out there, I guarantee you probably
- 21:04you maybe you even that owns more silver than me.
- 21:07I think oh man, that's not I'm sad, you know.
- 21:12Oh everybody, right. Well, there's some other guy
- 21:15who's got half as much as I have who could look at me and be, you
- 21:19know, row your own boat. OK, keep a list.
- 21:24I'm big into lists today. We're talking a lot about lists.
- 21:27Keep it, keep a list. Why?
- 21:29Why you invest in? So cuz these ups and downs, you
- 21:32know they can be feel absolutely crazy.
- 21:36Hey Jake from Jake's custom part says row, row, row.
- 21:39Yes, they can feel crazy. Keep a list of like the top
- 21:43five, six. You want the top six.
- 21:46I've got my top six fundamental reasons why I feel comfortable
- 21:50owning the amount of silver and then also precious metal mining
- 21:54stocks that I own #1. It's a real asset you can hold,
- 21:59right? It's real.
- 22:00I won't show you some. So you know I got silver here.
- 22:02I could show you it's real. You can hold it.
- 22:05It'll maintain your wealth, your buying power.
- 22:08Ask anybody from 500 years ago if they had to come 500 years
- 22:13into the future right to right now.
- 22:16Would they rather have the paper money that was the the money of
- 22:21the day? No, it'd be worthless, right?
- 22:25If some dude died 500 years ago. Think about this.
- 22:29Your great, great, great grandpa to the 90th degree, right?
- 22:32That great we both have might be the same guy if he died and his
- 22:36family buried him and they put a bunch of whatever the paper
- 22:40currency was back then. Who knows, right?
- 22:43German, whatever, French, whatever it is.
- 22:45They stuffed the casket with that, and suddenly we were able
- 22:49to resurrect him from the dead, right?
- 22:52And they could. They either stuffed that casket
- 22:54with paper money or they stuffed it with gold and silver coins.
- 22:59Suddenly, right now he's back with us.
- 23:01What do you think he'd prefer? You know what he'd prefer?
- 23:05He'd prefer the metal because it maintained its value.
- 23:09He'd wake up and be like, wow, things are a lot better.
- 23:12I can basically still buy the same or more with all this
- 23:17silver and gold. If you woke up in a bed of paper
- 23:20money, he'd be like, he'd bring it to anywhere in the world.
- 23:22They'd be like, we don't. Maybe for collector value, but
- 23:25they wouldn't even want nobody would want it.
- 23:27OK, so remember that it's it maintains there's a finite
- 23:31supply. Did we forget about that?
- 23:33These are the basics. There's only so much gold on the
- 23:37planet. There's only so much silver on
- 23:40the planet, and in particular with silver, a lot of it gets
- 23:44consumed, blown up, used up, thrown into landfills, You name
- 23:49it. OK, it's there's only so much.
- 23:52There's an infinite, an infinite supply of paper electronic
- 23:58money, of debt, of of, of crypto currencies, right.
- 24:02There were like 5000 crypto currencies that came, came
- 24:05around during the crypto boom. They can make as many as they
- 24:09want. It's infinite.
- 24:11You can't make as much silver and gold as you want.
- 24:14It's finite, finite, OK, finite. It's outlasted every Fiat money
- 24:21system. We know that.
- 24:22It's also outlasted every political regime that's come
- 24:25around, every economic system. Thank you.
- 24:27Metal sear. Oh, yeah.
- 24:30You said thank you. Yeah.
- 24:33Wow. Yeah.
- 24:34Gold is bounced back. Thank you.
- 24:36Metal sear. Thank you for that super chat,
- 24:37my friend. Super appreciated.
- 24:39OK. And and it's a worldwide asset.
- 24:43There's, I mean it's been value. Silver and gold have been
- 24:46valuable forever, everywhere, in every environment.
- 24:51Thank you for that super chat, Alex.
- 24:53Hey, Hey. Wow, you guys.
- 24:55I appreciate it. Let me have a sip of coffee.
- 24:57We got. We're going to talk about the
- 24:58Ponzi scheme, but we're going to wrap up the silver and then
- 25:03we're going to talk about Ponzi scheme.
- 25:08Because I'm sick of this. I'm sick of it.
- 25:12I'm not sick of you. No.
- 25:14And I really appreciate you joining us today.
- 25:17Please, if you've not subscribed to the channel, subscribe.
- 25:21We're still having the New Year special.
- 25:23It's free to subscribe to Ron's Basement.
- 25:26All the content is free. Super chats are always super
- 25:29appreciated, never expected. But all you got to do is
- 25:32subscribe and and turn on that Bell thing.
- 25:35That way you get notified every time.
- 25:37Usually I do a live stream somewhere every day around 10:00
- 25:42AM unless I got 5 basketball games to go to for my daughter's
- 25:46family comes first. I'm sure you can understand
- 25:48that. Be prepared with silver and
- 25:51gold, guys. It's a rough ride at times.
- 25:56And also accept the fact that the price is manipulated.
- 26:00OK, that's just the way it is, all right?
- 26:02It's a manipulated. The exchange is manipulated.
- 26:06It's been proven. Last year we got convictions of
- 26:08JP Morgan Chase traders. There's people who have spent
- 26:12their career, right. People that we owe a debt of
- 26:15gratitude working for the. Thank you, Ron McAdams.
- 26:20Wait a minute. I missed the Super champ Metal
- 26:23seer. Who else?
- 26:24Hold on a minute here. I'm having technical problems.
- 26:27Can you guys hear me? Hello.
- 26:29Uh oh. Oh, no.
- 26:33OK, we're back. All right, Ron, thank you Ron
- 26:37McAdams for the Super chat. If I missed another one coin
- 26:40shop, Chris. Thank you, CM.
- 26:42Howdy. Howdy, Annie Oakley.
- 26:44Hey, guys, you know what? We got 315 people here.
- 26:48I'd like to see at least 100 of us type 88888 because the
- 26:54moderators are great. We got Sassy Silver and Annie
- 26:59Oakley with us today. We've got Coin Chop Chris, We've
- 27:01got Jake from Jake's custom parts.
- 27:03We have Craig Edmonds. And there's one other guy, the
- 27:06one and only Coin Chop. Chris.
- 27:08Thank you moderators for all you do.
- 27:11It is much appreciated. It's manipulated, it's
- 27:15manipulated. Remember we called natural gas
- 27:18the widow maker. Well, Silver in particular can
- 27:21be the widow maker, right? Also, Also, it's lonely out
- 27:28there, boys and girls. Remember, we're talking about
- 27:32the crazy world, How to remain peaceful and calm as a silver
- 27:37and gold investor with Ron from Ron's basement.
- 27:41It's lonely out there, right? It's.
- 27:43Look, that's why we come to places like this and don't just
- 27:46come here, right? There's other places like
- 27:49Arcadia, Economics, Yara and Chris Marcus.
- 27:53There's bald guy money. There's, there's.
- 27:56Look, don't just listen to me, please, please.
- 28:00Like, yeah, I like to say I'm my own boss and I got the craziest
- 28:02boss in the world, but it is lonely.
- 28:05So we have to search for community, especially in the
- 28:08Western G7 nations where we most of us abide because we're just
- 28:14we're we're the lone wolves, right?
- 28:16We're the, we're the people that broke away from the pack and
- 28:21went out and and pulled the head out of the sand, right?
- 28:25So took our thumbs out of our ears.
- 28:31We didn't jump into the fish tank.
- 28:33Did you guys hear that? I'll be quick.
- 28:35Some guy jumped into the fish tank at a bass pro shops in
- 28:38Alabama. You.
- 28:39So you think you're crazy? You think I'm crazy?
- 28:42We're not that crazy. Some guy stripped naked and
- 28:45jumped into the giant fish tank in an Alabama bass pro shops.
- 28:49That really happened. You can look it up.
- 28:51OK, so we're lonely. Maybe we feel sometimes.
- 28:56You know, us humans. We need community.
- 28:59That's what's so cool about all of you that join me here in the
- 29:02basement. We generally think alike.
- 29:06We definitely share a a very common view of the precious
- 29:11metals market. So seek out other people that
- 29:16that that think the way you do that are willing to challenge
- 29:19the status quo, OK. And that's hard, man.
- 29:22I understand, right. It'd be a lot easier just to
- 29:26turn on the Children's News Network, go upstairs, turn on
- 29:29CNN. OK, All right.
- 29:33OK. No, you don't do that.
- 29:37You are the type person that pulled the covers back, looked
- 29:41under the hood, however you wanna say it.
- 29:43But that can also be, you need to realize being a creative
- 29:50person, right? I would say you're a creative
- 29:53person. Can be difficult at times.
- 29:56So do all those things. Set a foundation for yourself,
- 29:59right, in terms of buying silver and gold, in terms of your
- 30:02mental attitude toward it and everything will be OK You guys
- 30:06want to hear about a Ponzi, right?
- 30:09We're going to talk about the great taking, right?
- 30:11That idea that the that there's this, this set up going on that
- 30:16could actually result in all of our assets being taken.
- 30:20But I want to talk about a Ponzi first.
- 30:22OK, Hold on one second. Let me have a quick drink of
- 30:25coffee. Thank you.
- 30:26We got 200 thumbs up. Let's do the bell.
- 30:31This is a bell warning. So for the guy that runs the
- 30:36intercom system at JP Morgan Chase, because we we know that
- 30:40you're all listening, you may want to turn the intercom off
- 30:42for one second Jake from Jake's Custom parts,
- 30:59we ring the cowbell at 200 thumbs up, and it's just
- 31:02something we do here in the basement, 350 people.
- 31:06Thank you, guys. Thank you for all the thumbs up.
- 31:09Let's talk about Apple Computer. You want to hear about a Ponzi
- 31:12scheme? OK.
- 31:13Just just stay with me here for a second, because I'm telling
- 31:17you right, gold and silver are undervalued, Silver in
- 31:23particular. A lot of smart people say silver
- 31:27is the most undervalued asset on the face of the earth.
- 31:30The opposite of that is Apple computer stock.
- 31:33Do you own it? You do probably own some, either
- 31:37directly or indirectly. Maybe you have some money in a
- 31:39four O 1K. Maybe you own it outright.
- 31:42I don't know. Look, I'm not giving financial
- 31:44advice. I'm just telling you what I see
- 31:47when I look at a company like Apple Computer and compare it to
- 31:51the value of silver and gold and the value of precious metal
- 31:55mining stocks in particular. This is mind blowing guys.
- 31:59This is mind blowing. And yes, I have a degree in
- 32:04accounting, so I know what I'm talking about, but I'm going to
- 32:07make this very simple for you, OK.
- 32:09Apple Computer, the company, OK. If you, if you take all their
- 32:15assets, everything they own, and then you pay off all their debt,
- 32:20OK. So you, you take all their
- 32:22assets, you pay off all the debt they own.
- 32:24They only have $60 billion in assets that's called net
- 32:29tangible assets, OK. Pay off all their debt.
- 32:32There's 60 billion left. The total value of the company
- 32:36on the Stock Exchange, The value of all the stock.
- 32:39Like if you wanted to buy out the entire company of Apple,
- 32:45almost $3 trillion. OK, so they have 60 billion in
- 32:50assets when you pay off all their debt.
- 32:53OK. But a value of $3 trillion that
- 32:58means that of that means that the value of their assets is
- 33:03only 2% of the entire value market cap is a technical fancy
- 33:09way to say to the company, OK. So that means that for each one
- 33:15share of Apple, that's around $180.
- 33:18OK, per share, for each share that you own or anybody owns,
- 33:23there's for $180 there's only $3.60 worth of real assets.
- 33:30That means if you own a share of Apple stock, you think it's
- 33:34worth $180. But the real assets that back up
- 33:38the company of that 180 are only $3.60.
- 33:44So that other what $175 and value is just make believe.
- 33:50Oh, Apple's the best company in the world.
- 33:52Apples, a tech company. And tech is the future and Apple
- 33:57has this ecosystem that could never be penetrated.
- 34:01Well, talk to the people at companies like Xerox or IBM or
- 34:05any other number of companies that in the past have enjoyed
- 34:09that same aura around them. If you own a share of Apple
- 34:14stock for $180, you have $3.50 worth of assets.
- 34:20The rest is hot air. Make believe Apple's gonna go on
- 34:24forever and be the even bigger biggest company.
- 34:27How much bigger can they get? OK, so that to me, to me, and to
- 34:33a certain degree makes it a Ponzi scheme.
- 34:35You got a bunch of people every day who trade millions of shares
- 34:39of stock, right? It's kind of like the game of
- 34:42musical chairs. Like, OK, I'll sell you.
- 34:44OK, Bob, you know, and then just add, blah, blah, blah.
- 34:47There's nothing real backing it up.
- 34:49Very little, very, very, very, very, very little real backing
- 34:54it up. OK.
- 34:56And that's not just Apple. It's a number of companies.
- 34:59Facebook's probably the same. Microsoft, to a certain degree
- 35:02is also the same. It's just the value, right, the
- 35:06value of the company. The price is based on a bunch of
- 35:11nothing but hot air. And you hear people talk about
- 35:13that with the Magnificent 7. Thank you Metal Sear, he says.
- 35:19Oh yes, OK, yes, Metal Seer. I'm going to, I'm going to
- 35:25interrupt this program to comment.
- 35:27Metal Seer gave a super chat that's super appreciated, but he
- 35:29also shared a critical piece of information.
- 35:32He recommends you read Multicultural Mercantilism by
- 35:37Miss Tyson, which projects what will happen now that the 50 year
- 35:42Petro dollar is dying. I watched a great 12 minute
- 35:45video with this Miss Tyson. She worked for the New York Fed.
- 35:48She's very smart. She set up financial systems all
- 35:52over the world at the world's biggest central banks.
- 35:56Write that down guys, Multicultural Mercantilism.
- 36:00And later on today search that up on YouTube.
- 36:04Or better yet, read what he's talking about.
- 36:06This woman is legit, OK, very legit and knows what she's
- 36:11talking about. So are we in a Ponzi?
- 36:14I would call it a Ponzi, right? If it's just a bunch of people
- 36:17trading Apple stock that makes the value go where it is.
- 36:21But really, underneath there's nothing.
- 36:23It's just new money coming in to pay off the people that want to
- 36:26but want to sell, right? It's completely different, by
- 36:28the way with precious metal mining stocks like like one that
- 36:33happens to sponsor Ron's Basement, Fortuna silver mines.
- 36:37When you look at their net tangible assets, they have
- 36:42what's called a fortress balance sheet, very little debt, OK, a
- 36:46lot of assets and very little debt.
- 36:49And when you compare their assets to the market cap of the
- 36:53company, it's completely different.
- 36:56Honestly, I haven't done it for three or four or five weeks, but
- 36:59there was a point in time not too long ago where the assets of
- 37:03the company after you paid off the debt were more than what the
- 37:08stock market had had valued it at, right?
- 37:12In the case of Apple, it's like 2%, right?
- 37:15The the value of the actual assets is in the case of
- 37:18Fortuna, at that point it was over 100%, OK?
- 37:23And to replace those assets at a company like Fortuna, They're a
- 37:26global gold and silver mining company.
- 37:29To replace those assets to rebuild all those mines would
- 37:33likely cost more than what they're carrying them on on
- 37:37their books now. I'm not giving financial advice.
- 37:39I've all. I've owned Fortuna silver stock
- 37:42for years and years before. It's like Pinbex, right?
- 37:45I worked with Pinbex before they sponsored the channel.
- 37:49I own Fortuna for years before they sponsored the channel.
- 37:53I'm not giving financial advice. I'm just sharing with you some
- 37:56facts about the company and and you can dig in for yourself if
- 38:01you like. You can go to fortunasilver.com.
- 38:05Where was I? OK, so we got that Ponzi.
- 38:08We got the Tyson. What about the great taking this
- 38:11guy he's legit. He's telling us right.
- 38:14And here let's read this is this is This is why I bring this up.
- 38:18Can your assets be seized? Can the government can big
- 38:22business Can the banking sector. It's probably more like the
- 38:25banking sector. Seize your assets.
- 38:28Well, well, well. Zero Hedge is a very popular
- 38:33website that kind of gives a different view on what's going
- 38:38on in the financial world and also geopolitically throughout
- 38:42the world. Their top story today, the great
- 38:46taking, exposes the financial end game.
- 38:51It's all about taking of collateral.
- 38:54Remember your house that you think you own?
- 38:57My house That I think. How would that make you feel?
- 38:59Like you think you own it? You paid your mortgage off, but
- 39:02it could be used as collateral. Your car that you think you own,
- 39:06that you paid off, could be used as collateral to back up.
- 39:10These banks that have all these quadrillions of derivatives
- 39:14amongst themselves, Apparently there's laws that have been
- 39:17written that make that the case. That's the scary thing.
- 39:21Let me read what what? Zero Hedge.
- 39:23We've talked about The Great Taking again.
- 39:25There's a free book and a free documentary you can watch one of
- 39:28the very best exposes of the covert, well hidden, bellicose
- 39:34attempts to rob you and me all of humanity, barring the
- 39:38minuscule number of psychotic individuals comprising the
- 39:43amicable opposition of their of their material possessions and
- 39:49their immaterial freedom. OK, wow.
- 39:52Written by David Webb. That guy really went in here.
- 39:56He entered. You want to hear this?
- 39:57He introduces the book on page one in Uncomfortable here.
- 40:01Sit down. I'm going to read this to you
- 40:04quickly. This is about our assets
- 40:06supposedly potentially and and the guy that that is behind all
- 40:11this is let's just say legit, OK?
- 40:17Taking of our assets. You ready?
- 40:19What is the book about? It's about the taking of
- 40:21collateral. All of it.
- 40:23The end game of this globally synchronous, synchronous debt
- 40:29accumulation super cycle. This is being executed by long
- 40:34planned Intelligent Design, the audacity and scope of which is
- 40:38difficult for the mind to encompass.
- 40:42OK, Included are all financial assets, all money on deposited
- 40:46banks, all stocks and bonds, and hence all underlying property of
- 40:51all public corporations, including inventory, plant and
- 40:55equipment, land, mineral deposits, inventions,
- 40:59intellectual property, privately owned personal and real property
- 41:05financed with any amount of debt will similarly be taken.
- 41:10And as will the assets of privately owned businesses which
- 41:14have been financed with debt. If even partially successful,
- 41:18this will be the greatest conquest and subjugation in
- 41:21world history. We are now living within a
- 41:24hybrid war conducted almost entirely by deception and thus
- 41:29designed to achieve war aims and little with little energy input.
- 41:33It's a war of conquest directed not against other nation states
- 41:37but against all of humanity. That's the great taking.
- 41:40All right. Well, none of that.
- 41:42Read it. If you're interested in it.
- 41:44You know, I I it it's it's a scary situation.
- 41:48What about Bitcoin? Everybody's talking about
- 41:49Bitcoin. Bitcoin.
- 41:50Bitcoin stole the Thunder of gold and silver over the last
- 41:54year. Everybody's still talking about
- 41:56Bitcoin because Bitcoin is going to have an ETF come out.
- 42:00Well, there's a there's a little bit of a of a bad part of that
- 42:04story, OK? Because that's going to put
- 42:08Bitcoin in the hands of the big ET, the big financial services
- 42:13companies, companies like BlackRock, OK, the big guys,
- 42:18Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, OK, we're talking about Bitcoin
- 42:25ETFs, OK, Will they really buy Bitcoin?
- 42:29Will it be like SLVETFGLDETF run by BlackRock, where a lot of
- 42:35people and people have apparently proven the fact that
- 42:39the SOVETF doesn't always own all the silver that it purports
- 42:44to own? All right, what about I got Coin
- 42:49Shop Chris's blood pressure going up?
- 42:52What about GLD? Same thing.
- 42:54What about this? Is the fact with these Bitcoin,
- 42:57this is everything that the Bitcoin people are against?
- 43:00Regulation, Big government, the SEC, blah, blah blah.
- 43:06Big financial institutions, the big banks.
- 43:09A Bitcoin ETF, which now they're all cheering for, is going to be
- 43:14going exactly against what they all are.
- 43:17So against big government, right?
- 43:20Check. It'll be regulated.
- 43:21Big financial institutions? Check.
- 43:24Right. It doesn't make any sense.
- 43:26ETFs invite big finance, central bankers, politicians and
- 43:32regulators. So look, there's no doubt about
- 43:35it. Bitcoin in particular has stolen
- 43:37some of the Thunder from our friends Silver and Gold.
- 43:41I'm not an anti bitcoiner. The one good thing about crypto
- 43:44and Bitcoin is it introduced a lot of people to the horrors of
- 43:50big banking, of big government, of money printing, right of of
- 43:56the of the financial system in general.
- 43:59But now they're all rooting, they're all rooting that they
- 44:05can become part of that's very same finance.
- 44:07It doesn't make any sense. And I got a little one more last
- 44:11thing to say about that. A lot of people are saying that
- 44:14once that ETF gets announced, it's a buy the rumor, sell the
- 44:19new situation. So hold on to your bitcoins.
- 44:22If indeed that ETF does come to fruition, OK, what do we have
- 44:27coming up this week, guys? We've got some big financial,
- 44:30it's kind of a big financial week.
- 44:32Hold on here. I wanted to run through just a
- 44:34few of these quick headlines so you're prepared.
- 44:37You know what's coming. All right, hold on here.
- 44:41Bear with me. Something about our.
- 44:43We're not going to talk about that.
- 44:44TikTok. Doctor says it's OK to be fat.
- 44:47All right, well, that's a good headline.
- 44:50Key events this week, Earnings season kicks off.
- 44:54We know what we're heading into it with the US economy, but I
- 44:58still wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of BS quote, UN
- 45:01quote, good earnings numbers come out this week and I need to
- 45:07talk to you guys about New Hampshire and gold and silver
- 45:10legal tender oil. Here we go.
- 45:11This is the one I wanted. Oil Plunges After Saudi Arabia
- 45:16cuts oil price for February amid persistent weakness, Oil is the
- 45:21lifeblood of the world economy. Everything what you're looking
- 45:26at me on right now is likely made out of plastics and oil.
- 45:30Oil is energy. Oil is everything.
- 45:32The Saudis are saying that they're seeing weakness in the
- 45:36oil market, so they're cutting prices.
- 45:39OK, the economy is slowing down. All right, Apple, the world's
- 45:46one of the world's biggest Ponzi schemes, Jeffries says. iPhone
- 45:53sales in China plunged. OK, says quote our industry chat
- 45:58checks show Android stayed about flat, but iPhone sales were down
- 46:0330% last week, 30%. OK, that's as Apple goes.
- 46:11So does a lot of the S&P 500, because it's unbelievable how
- 46:16much of the S&P 500 is made-up of those seven big stocks, of
- 46:20which Apple is either the biggest or one of the biggest.
- 46:24Let's move on. Let's move on here.
- 46:28What about the Middle East shipping giant halts container
- 46:32shipments to Israel? OK, a source told Bloomberg that
- 46:36Costco bookings to in Israel will end next week.
- 46:40We talked yesterday about in the north from Lebanon, Hezbollah.
- 46:45I think it is sending rockets into the whole Middle East
- 46:50situation is a big, big, big powder powder keg, powder powder
- 46:54peg, counter, peg, powder keg. You know what I'm trying to say?
- 47:00Bear with me, guys. Bear with me.

- 48:34class gold and silver that can be very, very volatile.
- 48:39OK, we need to have a plan again, I recommend writing
- 48:44things down. Know why you bought gold and
- 48:47silver. Know what you will do if if you
- 48:52are a person who thinks you may convert some to other assets in
- 48:55the future, have a plan for that as well.

- 49:08matter what they throw at us As we now head into, you know, this
- 49:12early part of 2024, most of us are in agreement that silver and
- 49:18gold are a great way to hedge to protect ourselves against what
- 49:22could be some very interesting times.
