- 0:01Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, good afternoon.
- 0:08Speaker 3: 3.05 in the afternoon. Welcome to Tuesday, October 13th. It
- 0:13Speaker 3: is just a gorgeous day outside today. 84 degrees. Hope
- 0:17Speaker 3: you enjoy it. I mean, it's not too humid. It's
- 0:20Speaker 3: just perfect. Absolutely perfect out there. Anyway, good afternoon. We'll
- 0:24Speaker 3: be with you right up until 6 o'clock tonight. A
- 0:27Speaker 3: number of things to mention at the beginning of the program.
- 0:29Speaker 3: How about the Guardians? I mean, how about the Guardians
- 0:32Speaker 3: game last night? It's just such a joy to see
- 0:37Speaker 3: that victory last night. I mean, with taking on Tampa
- 0:41Speaker 3: Bay and just to watch it happen. You've sat there
- 0:48Speaker 3: watching a game, 2-0, tap on top for a long
- 0:52Speaker 3: period of time, and then the bats started to come
- 0:54Speaker 3: alive and things changed dramatically with the Guardians having a
- 0:58Speaker 3: pretty significant defeat. In game one of Tampa. And we
- 1:04Speaker 3: couldn't be happier about that. Game two tonight. We'll have
- 1:07Speaker 3: coverage here. As we always do. On News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 1:11Speaker 4: 730.
- 1:11Speaker 2: The pregame 8 o'clock first pitch.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:12Speaker 6: Is that.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Should be tonight on NewsRadio 570. So there's the excitement
- 1:23Speaker 3: of that. A lot of excitement yesterday happened.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Did it not? A lot of excitement happened yesterday.
- 1:29Speaker 3: El Presidente, Trump, was in town at the Covelli Center,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and he was in town yesterday. And it's interesting to
- 1:38Speaker 3: me when people try to look at, oh, it wasn't full,
- 1:41Speaker 3: or look at the attendance of it. I can't think
- 1:44Speaker 3: of any political figure in my lifetime who, that draws
- 1:49Speaker 3: a crowd like Trump. Even if he doesn't fill the
- 1:52Speaker 3: Covelli Center, he still has a huge turnout at all
- 1:56Speaker 3: of these events. But you can sense that there's such
- 1:59Speaker 3: a dislike or the media just hates him so much
- 2:03Speaker 3: that they don't mention a pretty sizable crowd. They always
- 2:09Speaker 3: want to mention, well, there was a number of empty
- 2:11Speaker 3: seats and there were empty seats, knowing that he draws
- 2:14Speaker 3: more people than any other.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Person around in politics.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I mean if you think if Gavin Newsom came to
- 2:28Speaker 3: town he would draw a crowd like that no.
- 2:33Speaker 2: I mean you'd have to sit back and say to yourself.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Other than Kennedy maybe back so long ago Kennedy that
- 2:41Speaker 3: would draw huge crowds can you think of anybody that
- 2:44Speaker 3: would that would draw big crowds possibly Reagan I mean,
- 2:50Speaker 3: I would put that, I just put that out there
- 2:53Speaker 3: to you. I can't think in my lifetime of anybody
- 2:56Speaker 3: that's really drawn huge crowds like I see with Donald Trump.
- 3:02Speaker 3: And it doesn't matter where he goes at these events.
- 3:06Speaker 3: A lot of people show up early in the morning
- 3:08Speaker 3: and there's a consistent line there all day. And this
- 3:10Speaker 3: was on a Monday afternoon, a work day, if you will.
- 3:15Speaker 3: where a lot of people, obviously Columbus State, some people
- 3:18Speaker 3: had it off, but a lot of people did not.
- 3:21Speaker 3: But apparently a lot of them swung by after work
- 3:23Speaker 3: at 5 or 6 or whatever in hopes of getting in,
- 3:27Speaker 3: of hopes of enlisting in Trump and seeing Trump. All
- 3:29Speaker 3: I'm trying to say is the media always portrays everything
- 3:32Speaker 3: negatively with Trump. Everything is negative with Donald Trump. It's
- 3:36Speaker 3: just negative. And you reach a point where you start
- 3:38Speaker 3: to say, could you acknowledge the fact that there aren't–
- 3:44Speaker 3: Other political figures that draw a crowd like this guy does,
- 3:48Speaker 3: and you want to downplay it? I just find it
- 3:52Speaker 3: somewhat annoying. I find it somewhat annoying. The double standard
- 3:56Speaker 3: that I see that Donald J. Trump is treated with
- 4:00Speaker 3: in the mainstream media, and it's very much a double standard.
- 4:05Speaker 3: very much a double standard. Then I look at, just
- 4:09Speaker 3: when I look at this situation yesterday, I just look
- 4:12Speaker 3: at a lot of, the Democrats are just, they're like
- 4:16Speaker 3: wackos to me. I just look at them and I
- 4:19Speaker 3: just shake my head. I don't even know how to
- 4:21Speaker 3: describe it. Ted, the conservative made some good points. You know,
- 4:27Speaker 3: when Ted, the conservative says, you can't, you can't vote
- 4:30Speaker 3: for a Democrat because they believe in this crazy stuff.
- 4:36Speaker 3: They just believe in this crazy stuff. And it makes
- 4:40Speaker 3: it impossible for you to, here I am quoting Ted
- 4:42Speaker 3: the Conservative, it makes it impossible for you to vote
- 4:46Speaker 3: for a Democrat. Because if they're a Democrat, so they
- 4:52Speaker 3: got to be buying into the Democrat philosophy. The transgenderism,
- 4:56Speaker 3: your white privilege, white supremacy, All the critical things that
- 5:04Speaker 3: they lay on you as a white person. And we
- 5:07Speaker 3: got to hire based on a skin color or sexuality,
- 5:10Speaker 3: not on merit.
- 5:12Speaker 2: The police are bad. The immigration is bad. Side with
- 5:20Speaker 2: the illegals.
- 5:21Speaker 3: All of the craziness that you see the Democrats siding
- 5:23Speaker 3: for all of this craziness. And I do mean craziness.
- 5:28Speaker 3: that they stand for, is what, if you're in a party, well,
- 5:32Speaker 3: you must believe in a lot of that because that's
- 5:35Speaker 3: why you're a Democrat. So how could you possibly vote
- 5:39Speaker 3: for someone like that? It's like I said, as frustrating
- 5:42Speaker 3: as it can be, like when I hear the Democrats
- 5:44Speaker 3: talk about affordability and bellyaching about it, the first thing
- 5:50Speaker 3: I think to myself is, where were you when this
- 5:54Speaker 3: inflation was created under Joe Biden? Where were you when
- 5:59Speaker 3: this inflation was going through the roof? I didn't hear
- 6:01Speaker 3: a peep out of any of you. That you were
- 6:04Speaker 3: concerned about affordability when Biden was in office, when we
- 6:09Speaker 3: had these huge increases in prices. I didn't hear a peep. Now,
- 6:16Speaker 3: all of a sudden, no, because it's Trump. And now
- 6:19Speaker 3: I hear. Now I hear people bellyaching about it. These
- 6:23Speaker 3: same political figures now making a big deal out of
- 6:25Speaker 3: it because all of a sudden they discovered affordability and
- 6:28Speaker 3: they want to chomp down on that because it's Trump.
- 6:31Speaker 2: But they didn't when it was Biden.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Very interesting. And there are mixed signals out there. I
- 6:39Speaker 3: will say that. People have pointed this out to me.
- 6:42Speaker 3: And I put this out to you, one of the
- 6:44Speaker 3: things we'll discuss here today. From an economic standpoint, do
- 6:48Speaker 3: you know how many people say to me, Look around, Ron.
- 6:53Speaker 3: There isn't a shortage of people at the restaurants, and
- 6:56Speaker 3: I'm talking in this community, but you know where you
- 7:00Speaker 3: live and what's going on in your town.
- 7:04Speaker 2: So the people would be saying to me, okay.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Gas might be $ 4 a gallon, but do you see
- 7:09Speaker 3: a shortage of cars on the road?
- 7:12Speaker 2: Diesel might be whatever.
- 7:13Speaker 3: $ 6. 50 a gallon or whatever, but do you see a
- 7:18Speaker 3: shortage of trucks on the road? Do you see product
- 7:22Speaker 3: at your stores, food, whatever other stores are there? So
- 7:26Speaker 3: obviously things are being shipped and people are buying stuff.
- 7:34Speaker 3: But so many people are telling me, and I hear
- 7:36Speaker 3: this on a regular basis from people. They say, is
- 7:41Speaker 3: the economy really that bad, Ron? Or have people just
- 7:46Speaker 3: adjusted to it? You say roll with the punches, are
- 7:50Speaker 3: people rolling with the punches? Because when you look around,
- 7:52Speaker 3: once again, we don't see a shortage of cars. We
- 7:54Speaker 3: don't see a shortage of trucks. We don't see a
- 7:57Speaker 3: shortage of stuff at the stores. We see plenty of
- 8:00Speaker 3: people at the restaurants. We see plenty of people buying stuff.
- 8:05Speaker 3: They've adjusted to it, the higher prices, and they're living
- 8:09Speaker 3: their life. We still see homes selling even at these
- 8:14Speaker 3: inflated prices. in our community I'm not talking somewhere else
- 8:19Speaker 3: I'm talking right here because this is where these discussions
- 8:22Speaker 3: take place with me right here hard to counter that
- 8:29Speaker 3: isn't it so what a lot of these people are
- 8:32Speaker 3: saying is is it really that bad.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Is it really that bad.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Because in many ways they say things look pretty good
- 8:44Speaker 3: things people seem to be pretty busy Try to get
- 8:49Speaker 3: somebody to do a service for you. They're usually busy.
- 8:52Speaker 3: There's usually a wait. And it's tough for me to
- 8:59Speaker 3: argue against that.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Comments, please.
- 9:01Speaker 8: 330-729-9977.
- 9:01Speaker 3: 330-729-9977 will get you through to us. And I hear
- 9:02Speaker 3: that more than you would think from people. And they
- 9:19Speaker 3: consistently say to me, it's really not that bad. Just
- 9:23Speaker 3: look around. And then I do. And then I say, well,
- 9:30Speaker 3: there it is. And I look at the restaurants and
- 9:36Speaker 3: parking lots are there. Everything like people are saying, the
- 9:39Speaker 3: stores are busy.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Comments, please.
- 9:43Speaker 9: Okay.
- 9:43Speaker 3: So then, so anyway, there you have it. But I
- 9:47Speaker 3: look at some of the Democrats that were out protesting yesterday,
- 9:50Speaker 3: and I just shake my head.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I just shake my head at him.
- 9:57Speaker 3: It's why Ted the Conservative makes sense to me. He says,
- 10:00Speaker 3: you just can't vote for the Democrats. They buy into
- 10:03Speaker 3: this nonsense. Like, if you honestly believe that the Democrats
- 10:08Speaker 3: would make your energy prices better, you've got to be
- 10:14Speaker 3: a damn fool.
- 10:15Speaker 2: They hate fossil fuels. Trump had to reverse stuff.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Drilling on federal lands, drilling offshore, cut some of the
- 10:23Speaker 3: regulation to get drilling humming again. Because it's supply and demand.
- 10:27Speaker 3: The more you get online, the better off you're going
- 10:30Speaker 3: to be as far as energy prices are concerned. Granted,
- 10:33Speaker 3: they're high now because of the war situation. And as
- 10:38Speaker 3: critical as I am of that particular situation, I do
- 10:42Speaker 3: always say this, and I think all of us must
- 10:44Speaker 3: admit this, we don't know what they know. We don't
- 10:49Speaker 3: know what all the information that they have. We just
- 10:52Speaker 3: don't have it. So we shall see.
- 10:53Speaker 2: All right. We shall see.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Comments 330-729-9977. I was listening to a Rubio speech the
- 11:02Speaker 3: other day.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Not speech.
- 11:03Speaker 3: A little bit of a speech. I got to play
- 11:05Speaker 3: that to you later today here on the broadcast. Sooner
- 11:08Speaker 3: than later.
- 11:08Speaker 2: All right. Because we run out of time before we
- 11:10Speaker 2: know it.
- 11:10Speaker 3: 330-729-9977.
- 11:11Speaker 2: We'll get you through to us. Are you there?
- 11:18Speaker 3: We start with, because a lot of times I drone
- 11:22Speaker 3: on so long I put people right to sleep, obviously.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Rubio had, what did I do with it? Let's see.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I got to find, are you there? Let me see.
- 11:36Speaker 7: Are you there?
- 11:36Speaker 2: Are you there? Are you over here?
- 11:38Speaker 7: Where did I?
- 11:40Speaker 3: This was, okay.
- 11:45Speaker 7: Okay.
- 11:46Speaker 3: This was interesting the other day. Marco Rubio exposes globalist lies.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Brilliant speech about American nationalism. Okay, let's listen to this.
- 12:00Speaker 10: Let me put it to you this way. I think
- 12:02Speaker 10: we made a terrible mistake in this country.
- 12:05Speaker 11: Not many years ago, under people that were in charge
- 12:08Speaker 11: at the time, especially at the end of the Cold War.
- 12:10Speaker 11: And that was the idea that the ability to make
- 12:13Speaker 11: things no longer mattered. And it didn't matter any longer
- 12:16Speaker 11: where things were made. They were to be made in
- 12:18Speaker 11: the most efficient place at the lowest possible cost. That
- 12:21Speaker 11: meant more profits for the company, lower costs for the consumers.
- 12:24Speaker 11: And that was the way the world would work. There
- 12:26Speaker 11: was this fantasy, really, that the whole world would become
- 12:28Speaker 11: a free enterprise democracies and that everyone would.
- 12:31Speaker 7: Look like us.
- 12:32Speaker 10: That ran into reality, the reality that.
- 12:34Speaker 11: That is not how human events have ever worked, that
- 12:36Speaker 11: the nation state still does matter.
- 12:38Speaker 10: Nationalism is still.
- 12:39Speaker 11: Real, national borders still matter, and that countries are going
- 12:43Speaker 11: to always act in their best interest. But the result
- 12:45Speaker 11: of it is that it deindustrialized America.
- 12:47Speaker 10: We lost our ability and our capacity to make things.
- 12:51Speaker 11: And not just big things, not just the kinds of
- 12:53Speaker 11: big machinery and things that we normally identify with industry,
- 12:57Speaker 11: but even some of the most basic components that are necessary.
- 13:01Speaker 11: That underpin economic life, especially in the 21st century. And
- 13:04Speaker 11: we woke up to the reality just a few years
- 13:06Speaker 11: ago that we are suddenly as a nation dangerously dependent,
- 13:11Speaker 11: dangerously dependent on other nations for all sorts of things
- 13:15Speaker 11: that we need, not simply for economic vibrancy, but in
- 13:18Speaker 11: many cases for our national security. and our very survival
- 13:21Speaker 11: as a prosperous nation state. And so now we are
- 13:24Speaker 11: involved in this endeavor across the board to try to
- 13:26Speaker 11: reverse those mistakes. And it will be the work of
- 13:29Speaker 11: multiple administrations, but it starts here and it starts now
- 13:31Speaker 11: with this one that is receiving attention at as high
- 13:34Speaker 11: as levels. One way is just the basic ingredients to
- 13:37Speaker 11: go into all this, and it's why you've seen such
- 13:38Speaker 11: a focus on access to not just critical minerals as
- 13:41Speaker 11: raw material, but also to the ability to process them.
- 13:44Speaker 11: But the other has to be the ability.
- 13:47Speaker 10: To actually make things once again.
- 13:49Speaker 11: And we have to understand that reindustrialization, that 21st century
- 13:52Speaker 11: industrial activity is going to look different than it did
- 13:55Speaker 11: in the 20th century.
- 13:56Speaker 10: It's going to involve far more skills. It's going to.
- 14:00Speaker 11: Involve not just our workers going to have to be
- 14:03Speaker 11: better educated in what they're doing, but in many cases,
- 14:06Speaker 11: given the evolution and the rapidly changing dynamics of the
- 14:10Speaker 11: modern world, they may have to be retrained multiple times
- 14:12Speaker 11: in their career. One of the crown jewels that have
- 14:16Speaker 11: powered American innovation and ultimately powered American economic influence and
- 14:20Speaker 11: power around the world has been our system of higher education.
- 14:23Speaker 11: It has produced extraordinary research. It has produced extraordinary breakthroughs.
- 14:27Speaker 11: The sad part about it is the number of things
- 14:29Speaker 11: we have innovated or created, but then they're made somewhere else.
- 14:33Speaker 11: And so I think in the 21st century, this partnership
- 14:36Speaker 11: with higher education is important.
- 14:38Speaker 10: And it's important for two reasons.
- 14:40Speaker 11: First of all, why build a new wheel when we
- 14:43Speaker 11: already have a wheel? We just need to repurpose that
- 14:45Speaker 11: wheel to become the place. where 21st century American workers
- 14:48Speaker 11: go to become empowered with.
- 14:50Speaker 10: The skills they need to succeed. But I also think
- 14:52Speaker 10: it's important for higher education.
- 14:54Speaker 11: And we've got some great partners here today that are
- 14:56Speaker 11: already part of this initiative.
- 14:57Speaker 10: And of course, we want this partnership to grow to
- 14:59Speaker 10: include other schools as well.
- 15:01Speaker 11: But I think it's also important for higher education because
- 15:03Speaker 11: increasingly young Americans are asking. Is the college degree worth it?
- 15:07Speaker 11: Is the college route worth it? Because we have to
- 15:09Speaker 11: borrow money, or we have to spend money, or we
- 15:11Speaker 11: have to do all these sorts of things. And in
- 15:13Speaker 11: the end, I get a degree, then all that degree
- 15:16Speaker 11: does is either A, qualify me to get another degree,
- 15:19Speaker 11: or B, it may not even really lead to a
- 15:21Speaker 11: job necessarily that's different from the one I could have
- 15:23Speaker 11: gotten otherwise. And I think this speaks to that, because
- 15:27Speaker 11: it also, in addition to being good for our country,
- 15:29Speaker 11: is an opportunity to say to students, if you come
- 15:32Speaker 11: here and you go to school and you follow this curriculum,
- 15:34Speaker 11: you will leave here not just with a paper credential,
- 15:37Speaker 11: but with the skills that make you immediately employable in
- 15:40Speaker 11: a high-paying job, in a good-paying job with long-term stability.
- 15:44Speaker 11: And so this partnership is critical because what I hope
- 15:46Speaker 11: it means, what I hope it symbolizes, and not just symbolizes,
- 15:49Speaker 11: but what I hope it is evidence of, is how
- 15:52Speaker 11: government partnering with non-government entities like our higher education system
- 15:57Speaker 11: and the private sector The combination of those three pillars,
- 16:00Speaker 11: the private sector that needs the workers and knows what
- 16:03Speaker 11: they need from the workers, the higher education system that
- 16:05Speaker 11: can equip young.
- 16:06Speaker 10: Americans with the skills they need to fill those jobs, and.
- 16:09Speaker 11: Government that ensures not just that it's acting as a
- 16:12Speaker 11: convening body, but ensures that our national policies.
- 16:14Speaker 10: Reflect these priorities. These three pillars working together drive.
- 16:18Speaker 11: Us towards this outcome that we want, and it's very important.
- 16:21Speaker 11: So I think today's a great way to kick this off.
- 16:23Speaker 11: We have great partners on board already. We hope to
- 16:25Speaker 11: attract more. I want to thank all of you for
- 16:27Speaker 11: being a part of it. And the last thing I
- 16:29Speaker 11: want to say about this is that we understand that
- 16:32Speaker 11: for this to work, this is not a two-year project.
- 16:35Speaker 10: This is not a two-and-a-half-year project.
- 16:37Speaker 11: This is a project that will involve sustainment for the
- 16:39Speaker 11: long term. Multiple American administrations are going to have to
- 16:42Speaker 11: make this a priority, which is why it's so important
- 16:45Speaker 11: that you see evidence that at the highest levels of
- 16:47Speaker 11: our government now and for the future, you have that commitment.
- 16:51Speaker 11: And it's why it's exciting for us to have the
- 16:53Speaker 11: vice president here today to speak about it, because we
- 16:55Speaker 11: get evidence is not just the importance this administration gives,
- 16:58Speaker 11: but our acknowledgement that this is an issue that's going
- 17:00Speaker 11: to require long term.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Hi, this is Ron Verb. If you're looking for exceptional
- 17:06Speaker 3: like WKBN. That was Marco Rubio that I was playing there,
- 17:12Speaker 3: and just on what he saw ahead, which I thought
- 17:16Speaker 3: was a pretty good speech that he was giving as
- 17:20Speaker 3: far as the country was concerned. Now, did you attend,
- 17:22Speaker 3: any of you listening, did you attend the Trump rally yesterday?
- 17:28Speaker 3: I guess you would say, anybody attend a speech? Now,
- 17:31Speaker 3: G2 will give a full report sometime during the broadcast today,
- 17:35Speaker 3: and his impressions, he was there, his impressions... As to
- 17:42Speaker 3: really all the speakers, whether it's Bernie Marino or Rooley
- 17:48Speaker 3: or any of them that were speaking yesterday, we'll get
- 17:51Speaker 3: some insight from G2 on it, what Trump had to say,
- 17:55Speaker 3: just the entire events, some analysis, some breakdown from the
- 18:00Speaker 3: insightful G2. That should happen later today on the broadcast.
- 18:04Speaker 3: But any of you listening, were you there yesterday? Did
- 18:07Speaker 3: you wait in line? Did you go to the events?
- 18:09Speaker 3: And what, I mean, what were your thoughts about it?
- 18:11Speaker 3: A couple of people that, what's up with these people
- 18:15Speaker 3: that want to disrupt things that we happen to see
- 18:19Speaker 3: at this stuff? Why, I mean, what is up with
- 18:23Speaker 3: those people? They just want to disrupt everything. So you
- 18:28Speaker 3: had a couple of those people that they had to
- 18:29Speaker 3: throw out of there. And it's like, what's the point
- 18:32Speaker 3: of that? Can't the guy just go out and give
- 18:36Speaker 3: his presentation and move on? I mean, I don't understand why.
- 18:43Speaker 3: So they had to throw out some of these, obviously, Trump,
- 18:47Speaker 3: people who dislike Trump and throw them out of there.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I think there were two.
- 18:52Speaker 3: But I always scratch my head and say, well, what's
- 18:54Speaker 3: the point that you want to stand up and disrupt
- 18:56Speaker 3: something that the rest of these people are there to hear?
- 18:58Speaker 2: If you don't want to hear it, don't show up.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Go somewhere else.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Shut your mouth. Just my humble opinion. But were you
- 19:06Speaker 3: there yesterday? Do you have any thoughts about what he
- 19:08Speaker 3: had to say? We'll get to that and G2 later
- 19:10Speaker 3: on for that.
- 19:11Speaker 2: All right. Speaking of shutting up, Ron, shut up and
- 19:15Speaker 2: start taking calls. Okay. Sometimes I talk to myself. Where
- 19:20Speaker 2: should I start? I'll just start here. You're on the air.
- 19:22Speaker 12: Yeah, I watched Fox last night and a little bit
- 19:25Speaker 12: of the Youngstown show. broadcast and very interesting. And now
- 19:31Speaker 12: he's in Nome, Alaska today or this evening. This guy
- 19:35Speaker 12: gets all over the place.
- 19:36Speaker 13: It's amazing.
- 19:37Speaker 3: It is amazing for a guy 80 years old.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I agree.
- 19:40Speaker 12: I know. I love it. I love his enthusiasm. I
- 19:44Speaker 12: love his speaking off the cuff. And don't care who
- 19:50Speaker 12: he offends. He's speaking with his heart. Unscripted, I used
- 19:55Speaker 12: to call it. But I love it. And the Clay
- 20:01Speaker 12: and Buck show today talked about women's new blue jeans.
- 20:06Speaker 12: I love these new blue jeans. These women are straight-legged.
- 20:11Speaker 12: kind of baggy but tight on the waist. I don't
- 20:16Speaker 12: want to see plumbers' blue jeans. They look beautiful. Kind
- 20:23Speaker 12: of like the blue jeans I wear, but I love that.
- 20:26Speaker 12: And I'm not in favor of early voting or drop boxes.
- 20:32Speaker 12: I hate that stuff. You vote the day of the election.
- 20:36Speaker 12: That's what you do. There's no cheating involved. When you
- 20:40Speaker 12: do that with your driver's license, identity, and the Board
- 20:43Speaker 12: of Elections have you on record. So they look at
- 20:47Speaker 12: your books that, okay, this is me, and I'm going
- 20:51Speaker 12: to vote today. It's simple, very simple. I hate those
- 20:56Speaker 12: drop boxes and early voting.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Okay, we got every topic that you could possibly cover.
- 21:05Speaker 12: Well, how about the tribe tonight?
- 21:08Speaker 8: Yes.
- 21:10Speaker 12: I love it. Oh, Dick from Dayton, he's going to
- 21:14Speaker 12: go ballistic when he calls in.
- 21:15Speaker 2: He's going to love it. I can hardly wait. Thank you.
- 21:18Speaker 2: It's Denny from Rock Creek. You're on the.
- 21:22Speaker 13: Air.
- 21:22Speaker 7: Good afternoon, sir. How are you?
- 21:23Speaker 2: It's Rich, a pharmacist. I'm well, sir.
- 21:27Speaker 7: Oh, I don't think the economy is nearly as bad
- 21:31Speaker 7: as what people think. I think it is.
- 21:34Speaker 3: But I get a lot of people saying that. And
- 21:37Speaker 3: I get a lot of people saying that, and they're
- 21:38Speaker 3: talking about the economy right here. I mean, do you
- 21:41Speaker 3: know how many people say to me, there's no shortage
- 21:43Speaker 3: of trucks, cars on the roads, people at restaurants, the stores,
- 21:47Speaker 3: all this kind of stuff.
- 21:48Speaker 2: They're talking here. I'm not talking somewhere in New York
- 21:50Speaker 2: or somewhere.
- 21:51Speaker 7: Right here. I mean, I think two weeks ago was
- 21:54Speaker 7: our anniversary, so we went to Nicolini's Chop House in Canfield.
- 21:58Speaker 7: Which is, for this area, more of an upscale. When
- 22:02Speaker 7: you go there, you're going to drop a little bit
- 22:04Speaker 7: of money because it's a little more expensive than just
- 22:06Speaker 7: the average places. It was a Wednesday evening, I think
- 22:11Speaker 7: 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Hold that thought.
- 22:14Speaker 8: Packed.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Hold that thought. We'll come back.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Pick it up with Rich and more of your calls
- 22:17Speaker 3: right after the headlines at 3.30.
- 22:18Speaker 2: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 22:24Speaker 14: Kroger is announcing plans to cut about 3,000 positions from
- 22:28Speaker 14: its corporate workforce. The Cincinnati-based grocery chain revealed the plans
- 22:32Speaker 14: to workers yesterday, adding that they have made investments in
- 22:35Speaker 14: simplifying their associates' lives through technology. The eliminating of those
- 22:39Speaker 14: positions will occur over the course of the next three years.
- 22:43Speaker 14: A Toledo man is facing sex crime charges involving a
- 22:46Speaker 14: child victim in Wood County. Daniel Sams has been indicted
- 22:50Speaker 14: on charges stemming from alleged rapes that happened between 2003
- 22:54Speaker 14: and 2007. Sams was found guilty yesterday on 13 counts
- 22:58Speaker 14: of first-degree felony rape involving a child. He'll be sentenced
- 23:01Speaker 14: at a later date. The Lucas County Common Pleas Courthouse
- 23:05Speaker 14: is closed today thanks to a large water leak. The
- 23:07Speaker 14: leak was discovered Monday morning. There's been no word on
- 23:10Speaker 14: when the courthouse will reopen for business. I'm Andy Betts.
- 23:14Speaker 15: Listen on the free iHeartRadio app for all your music, news, talk,
- 23:18Speaker 15: and sports radio.
- 23:19Speaker 16: Podcast 2.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Download the app.
- 23:22Speaker 6: Free. Never sounded so good.
- 23:24Speaker 16: A to Z dependable services. Plumbing, septic, heating, cooling, and
- 23:28Speaker 16: one-day baths. Light traffic on the highway.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN. All right, so
- 23:37Speaker 1: back to it.
- 23:38Speaker 2: 335 here in the afternoon. Ron Verb, October 13th, 84 degrees.
- 23:42Speaker 3: All right, so you always said it, and I think
- 23:48Speaker 3: a lot of people agree with you. So you were
- 23:49Speaker 3: saying it was your anniversary. You went to Nicolini's, which
- 23:53Speaker 3: is always... Excellent. I always go to the one in
- 23:57Speaker 3: Austintown myself. But you went to Nicolini's over there by
- 24:03Speaker 3: Inner Circle in that area. And it was packed on
- 24:05Speaker 3: a Wednesday night, you were saying?
- 24:07Speaker 7: Yeah, Wednesday night. And the only thing that I noticed
- 24:11Speaker 7: when I was there was it seemed like they didn't
- 24:15Speaker 7: have enough servers. And I think that indicates another issue.
- 24:20Speaker 7: I was talking to a pharmacist at a pharmacy chain
- 24:23Speaker 7: the other day. I forget how many of their stores
- 24:26Speaker 7: have requests out, jobs posted, looking for pharmacy technicians. There's
- 24:33Speaker 7: nobody applying. You don't even have to have experience. They'll
- 24:37Speaker 7: train you. Nobody's applying for positions. So if the economy
- 24:41Speaker 7: is so bad and people are so strapped, I would
- 24:44Speaker 7: think you would have people out there. And if you
- 24:46Speaker 7: talk to employers, the number one issue employers are complaining
- 24:50Speaker 7: about is we can't find people to come to work
- 24:52Speaker 7: and do work. So I don't see how the economy
- 24:56Speaker 7: is that bad. And there was a very interesting article.
- 24:58Speaker 7: I think I sent it to you today. There have
- 25:01Speaker 7: been a couple articles on this the last two, three days, CNBC,
- 25:04Speaker 7: Wall Street Journal, places like that, that talk about how
- 25:09Speaker 7: it might have been an opt-in that Stephen Miller did.
- 25:11Speaker 7: It was in the Vindicator. I think I sent it
- 25:12Speaker 7: to you this morning. He was a former Trump guy
- 25:15Speaker 7: who was in his cabinet. And he said, if you look,
- 25:19Speaker 7: things are better now than they've ever been in the
- 25:21Speaker 7: history of the country. economically if you look at our
- 25:24Speaker 7: standard of living it's never been as high as it
- 25:26Speaker 7: is today i just think we're spoiled if you look
- 25:31Speaker 7: at china i think the average chinese citizen if i
- 25:33Speaker 7: was looking if i looked at right this morning makes
- 25:35Speaker 7: around 14 13 14 15 000 a year right now
- 25:36Speaker 7: the average american citizen makes 88 000 Now, I will
- 25:45Speaker 7: stipulate to you that because the average Chinese citizen is
- 25:48Speaker 7: only making $ 14, 000, $ 15, 000, that things are probably a little
- 25:52Speaker 7: bit less expensive in China because you don't have the
- 25:56Speaker 7: money to purchase things. But I think the average house there,
- 26:00Speaker 7: which isn't a big house, is still around $ 200, 000, $ 300, 000
- 26:03Speaker 7: for these big houses and the apartments. And the sad
- 26:07Speaker 7: thing there is where we've experienced phenomenal... growth in our
- 26:11Speaker 7: housing prices. I mean, my house in the last 10
- 26:14Speaker 7: years has doubled, more than doubled in price. Most people
- 26:17Speaker 7: in this area, they've seen their housing go up substantially,
- 26:19Speaker 7: and that's part of you. For most of us, it's
- 26:21Speaker 7: a big substantial part of your wealth, if you think
- 26:23Speaker 7: about it. If you look at your total net worth,
- 26:26Speaker 7: if you own a house, it's usually a good chunk
- 26:28Speaker 7: of your total net worth. So when that goes up,
- 26:33Speaker 7: your net worth goes up. You're wealthier. You're worth more money.
- 26:37Speaker 7: In China... Housing prices have slumped, I think, for six
- 26:41Speaker 7: or ten years now. They're in the toilet. And they
- 26:43Speaker 7: keep going south. Europe, I mean, if you look around
- 26:48Speaker 7: the world, everybody, there isn't a couple of others. There's
- 26:52Speaker 7: one country that's better than us. It's Switzerland. The average
- 26:56Speaker 7: citizen there makes more than the average person here, but
- 26:58Speaker 7: their cost of living is astronomical, too. But I think
- 27:02Speaker 7: in the op-ed that Stephen Miller put out basically said
- 27:07Speaker 7: it just seems like people always want more. I think
- 27:10Speaker 7: when you have so much and you get used to
- 27:13Speaker 7: having so much and you're not getting the growth in
- 27:16Speaker 7: that how much you have isn't as great as you
- 27:18Speaker 7: want it to be, it just seems like you're unhappy.
- 27:21Speaker 7: It's never enough. It's like the spoiled child, the people
- 27:24Speaker 7: that spoil their children. They give them a brand-new car
- 27:27Speaker 7: at 16 and just stupid stuff like that. If you
- 27:32Speaker 7: grow up with a silver spoon in your mouth, you
- 27:36Speaker 7: have a tendency, I think, as you grow older to
- 27:39Speaker 7: just get disappointed because maybe you're not able to do
- 27:42Speaker 7: as well as mom and dad did. You're not going
- 27:45Speaker 7: to have as much growing as you get older and
- 27:47Speaker 7: have to make it yourself as when you were spoiled
- 27:49Speaker 7: growing up. But I don't think it's that bad. I
- 27:53Speaker 7: honestly don't. I mean, you're always going to have some
- 27:56Speaker 7: that are lagging behind and some that are way ahead
- 27:59Speaker 7: and a lot of people in the middle. And we
- 28:01Speaker 7: can sit here and moan and groan about prices. I
- 28:03Speaker 7: don't like paying $ 4 a gallon or whatever gas is
- 28:06Speaker 7: going for now. But relative to inflation, it's actually less
- 28:11Speaker 7: expensive than it was under Obama. If you adjust the
- 28:15Speaker 7: price today back to 2008 to 2016 dollars, it costs
- 28:20Speaker 7: less now than it did when we were buying it then.
- 28:24Speaker 7: If you think about it, I think when I was
- 28:27Speaker 7: growing up, I remember when gas went to a dollar
- 28:30Speaker 7: a gallon. I think I was probably about 10, 12
- 28:32Speaker 7: years old, something like that, back in the late 70s,
- 28:36Speaker 7: early 90s. And 50 years later, 40, 50 years later,
- 28:41Speaker 7: it's only gone up four times. Not many things have
- 28:46Speaker 7: gone up only four times. Look at the price of cars.
- 28:50Speaker 7: I mean, average car price today is pushing, what, $ 45, 000,
- 28:52Speaker 7: $ 50, 000 now. I think when my parents bought a car
- 28:56Speaker 7: in the early 80s, I think they bought a Buick,
- 28:58Speaker 7: and it was like $ 4, 000, $ 5, 000. So that's 10 times.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Let's even say it's seven or eight times. I just
- 29:09Speaker 7: think we're spoiled. I honestly think we're spoiled, and I
- 29:14Speaker 7: think we sometimes expect too much because we've always gotten it.
- 29:18Speaker 7: Does that make any sense?
- 29:19Speaker 4: Yes.
- 29:20Speaker 3: So you're saying that when you look around, the economy's
- 29:24Speaker 3: in pretty good shape.
- 29:27Speaker 7: I would love to be able to go back and
- 29:29Speaker 7: interview our grandparents and great-grandparents that lived through the Depression.
- 29:33Speaker 7: If you could bring them up today and see how
- 29:34Speaker 7: we are all living and the standard of living we
- 29:37Speaker 7: have compared to what they had. Even the standard of living,
- 29:40Speaker 7: look at your father raised, how many kids, your father
- 29:43Speaker 7: and mother raised, how many kids, you know, probably not
- 29:47Speaker 7: near the financial resources you and your wife and my
- 29:49Speaker 7: wife and I and most people around here have.
- 29:51Speaker 13: Right.
- 29:53Speaker 7: So I just think maybe we've come to expect too much.
- 29:57Speaker 7: Maybe we've gotten greedy as a country. Because if you
- 30:01Speaker 7: look around, I'm telling you right now, I've traveled a
- 30:03Speaker 7: lot throughout the world. I've been blessed to be able
- 30:05Speaker 7: to go to a lot of different countries. And I
- 30:08Speaker 7: can tell you there's not one of them I ever
- 30:09Speaker 7: want to live in. A lot of neat places around
- 30:11Speaker 7: the world, they're nice to visit. But I wouldn't, especially
- 30:14Speaker 7: like Europe. I love going to Europe. It's a really
- 30:16Speaker 7: neat culture. You know, tons of history. You're looking at
- 30:19Speaker 7: stuff that's hundreds or thousands of years old. But I
- 30:22Speaker 7: wouldn't want to live there. Too many people and too
- 30:25Speaker 7: tight a space. Everything's expensive. They tax you to death.
- 30:31Speaker 7: I think we just like to complain a lot of times, unfortunately.
- 30:36Speaker 7: I'm as guilty as anybody.
- 30:37Speaker 3: So in general, I mean, when you look at it,
- 30:41Speaker 3: Trump has done a pretty decent job.
- 30:45Speaker 6: Oh, absolutely.
- 30:46Speaker 7: Like I said, you have to separate Donald Trump, the personality,
- 30:50Speaker 7: from Donald Trump, the president, in his policies. The only
- 30:54Speaker 7: thing I disagree with him on now is... buying all
- 30:57Speaker 7: this diesel fuel from Putin. Because Putin is an evil,
- 31:02Speaker 7: horrible man. He's up there with Mao, Stalin, Hitler. Take
- 31:07Speaker 7: a look since the Ukraine war has started about how
- 31:09Speaker 7: many people have, quote, fallen out of windows in the
- 31:12Speaker 7: Soviet Union or disappeared. He doesn't tolerate dissent. If you dissent,
- 31:19Speaker 7: if you say anything against him, you either end up
- 31:21Speaker 7: in a gulag or dead. He's not a good person.
- 31:27Speaker 7: He started the war in Ukraine. He's the one that
- 31:29Speaker 7: attacked them. Ukraine didn't. Ukraine was minding its own business.
- 31:32Speaker 7: They had no desire to go to war with Russia.
- 31:34Speaker 7: Russia attacked them. And now you're going to give more
- 31:38Speaker 7: and more money to an evil dictator like that just
- 31:42Speaker 7: because gas prices are high here. They're not going to
- 31:45Speaker 7: stay high. This is a blip. If we get this
- 31:48Speaker 7: Iran thing solved, and hopefully after the midterms are over, Win, lose,
- 31:51Speaker 7: or draw, the Republicans bite the bullet and figure out
- 31:54Speaker 7: a way to end this war once and for all.
- 31:56Speaker 7: I would like to see it end with Iran defeated.
- 31:59Speaker 7: I think that would be good for the world, good
- 32:01Speaker 7: for the Middle East. You look at what they're doing
- 32:03Speaker 7: now in the Middle East, bombing Saudi Arabia and civilian airports,
- 32:07Speaker 7: things like that. It's just ridiculous. They've been a bad
- 32:09Speaker 7: actor for 50 years. Back when I was a young
- 32:12Speaker 7: kid and I can remember them taking our hostages. I
- 32:15Speaker 7: remember going over to Hermitage with the 444 flags there now.
- 32:20Speaker 7: They're not a good country, so I'd like to see
- 32:22Speaker 7: us finish that war, get this behind us, and then
- 32:25Speaker 7: move on. I think my father used to always say,
- 32:30Speaker 7: this too shall pass, or my mother would say, it
- 32:32Speaker 7: may be bad now, but this too shall pass. And
- 32:35Speaker 7: we'll come out of this just fine. We always do.
- 32:39Speaker 7: What worries me more, I mean, long-term, if you want
- 32:41Speaker 7: to look at things, are there things that bother me? Yeah,
- 32:43Speaker 7: I think the fact that we overspend as a country
- 32:46Speaker 7: and overspend as people. I mean, you look at credit
- 32:48Speaker 7: card in this country. And it's not because people need
- 32:53Speaker 7: to go out and generally buy a box of cereal
- 32:56Speaker 7: or some hamburger or something like that. It's because they
- 33:00Speaker 7: want material things, and so they throw it on the
- 33:02Speaker 7: credit card. And they finance that over 20, 30 years
- 33:05Speaker 7: by paying a minimum payment. And that you know, a
- 33:09Speaker 7: hundred dollar trinket there or item that they wanted or
- 33:11Speaker 7: a new phone or whatever ends up costing a couple
- 33:14Speaker 7: more hundred dollars when you factor in the interest on
- 33:16Speaker 7: their credit cards, but they don't care because we have
- 33:19Speaker 7: instant gratification in this country. I want it. I deserve it.
- 33:22Speaker 7: So I'm going to go buy it, whether I can
- 33:23Speaker 7: afford it or not. And I've never in my life
- 33:27Speaker 7: as a college student, I never carried credit card debt.
- 33:30Speaker 7: If I couldn't afford it, I didn't buy it, but
- 33:34Speaker 7: nobody lives by that mantra anymore.
- 33:36Speaker 3: So things are pretty good as far as you can
- 33:40Speaker 3: see it and as far as you call it. A
- 33:42Speaker 3: lot of people are telling me that. They're saying, well,
- 33:44Speaker 3: if it's so bad, take a look around. And it's
- 33:46Speaker 3: a hard point to argue with, to.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Say the least.
- 33:50Speaker 7: If you want a job, it's out there, Ron. There
- 33:53Speaker 7: are a bunch of people hiring. Maybe it's not the
- 33:55Speaker 7: job you wanted. I don't know. You can always argue that.
- 33:59Speaker 3: And I'll tell you this. I thought Trump gave a
- 34:00Speaker 3: good speech yesterday at the Covelli Center. I thought he
- 34:04Speaker 3: did a good job.
- 34:06Speaker 7: He usually does. His biggest problem is if he would
- 34:08Speaker 7: just stick to the speech, he'd be fine. Too often
- 34:10Speaker 7: he goes off script and then he ends up putting
- 34:12Speaker 7: his foot in his mouth.
- 34:14Speaker 2: But he's very comfortable. He's very relaxed.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 7: Well, I mean, he's not up to Biden standards. You know,
- 34:21Speaker 7: I mean, that was a special type of individual there.
- 34:23Speaker 7: He was such a good communicator. He didn't need to
- 34:26Speaker 7: say anything.
- 34:28Speaker 2: There you go.
- 34:28Speaker 7: He just sat in the basement.
- 34:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 34:31Speaker 7: Thanks, Rich.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Appreciate it. Rich, the pharmacist, you're on the air.
- 34:37Speaker 13: Yeah. Hey, this is Pete.
- 34:40Speaker 7: Good afternoon.
- 34:40Speaker 13: What a gorgeous day.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Yes, it's wonderful.
- 34:43Speaker 13: You know, I thought this was a country of freedom
- 34:47Speaker 13: of speech. And yesterday, the people of Youngstown and whoever
- 34:54Speaker 13: went to that beat up that woman because she was
- 34:58Speaker 13: saying about the Epstein files. They could have booed her
- 35:03Speaker 13: and let it go at that. But no. If that
- 35:06Speaker 13: would have happened to Biden or would have happened to Obama,
- 35:10Speaker 13: he would have told the crowd to let him go.
- 35:13Speaker 13: They have the freedom of speech. He brought up the
- 35:17Speaker 13: Springfield thing. And that kind of threw me. But what
- 35:22Speaker 13: throws me more than anything else is we're not doing
- 35:26Speaker 13: anything about the Epstein files. We'll never find out whether
- 35:30Speaker 13: he really committed, Epstein committed suicide or if he was murdered.
- 35:35Speaker 13: just to shut him up. Now, just being a pedophile
- 35:41Speaker 13: just irritates the hell out of me. A pedophile protector.
- 35:46Speaker 13: And every one of these conservative, high-minded Republicans that don't
- 35:54Speaker 13: push to find out what really happened are saying it's okay.
- 36:01Speaker 13: And I just can't, I cannot get along with that.
- 36:04Speaker 13: And with Iran, Iran's going to have their nuclear weapon.
- 36:11Speaker 13: They don't need it, but they think they do. Israel
- 36:15Speaker 13: has it, but they don't need it, but they think
- 36:17Speaker 13: they do. Pakistan has it, the same thing. Pakistan and India.
- 36:23Speaker 13: They say it's a deterrent. But the thing of it is,
- 36:27Speaker 13: is they don't need it. And with this thing going on,
- 36:30Speaker 13: we're going to buy diesel fuel from Russia. They're saying
- 36:34Speaker 13: it's going to help, but it will be very little
- 36:37Speaker 13: and it won't be enough. Just so that Putin can
- 36:42Speaker 13: go ahead and keep bombing these people, and he's doing
- 36:45Speaker 13: it hard and heavy now, because winter's coming on. And
- 36:49Speaker 13: the millions of people that he slaughtered in Ukraine, we
- 36:57Speaker 13: should be fighting that all the way to the end.
- 37:02Speaker 13: We shouldn't be backing him, but Trump wants to back him.
- 37:06Speaker 13: It just irritates me. I listened to it, I recorded it,
- 37:09Speaker 13: and I listened to it again, and I couldn't believe
- 37:12Speaker 13: how he would ramble on this way than that way
- 37:15Speaker 13: and claim that people of the Democrats are all horrible
- 37:20Speaker 13: people when they're not. It's like conservative Republicans are not
- 37:26Speaker 13: all horrible people. And it's just, he just wants to
- 37:31Speaker 13: play that ticket. And there's enough people out there. But
- 37:34Speaker 13: then again, in the beginning, I noticed on the recording
- 37:39Speaker 13: that there were a lot of people there at Trump's
- 37:43Speaker 13: groupies that follow him everywhere.
- 37:48Speaker 7: Everywhere.
- 37:50Speaker 13: And I wonder how much of that crowd was made
- 37:52Speaker 13: up of those groupies. So I don't mean to rain
- 37:57Speaker 13: on your parade But I watched it here when my
- 38:01Speaker 13: wife was gone, and I just couldn't believe how he
- 38:04Speaker 13: just went on and on about how good he is,
- 38:06Speaker 13: how great he is, tearing the East Wing down. He's
- 38:10Speaker 13: totally pretty much ruling the Kennedy Center just to make
- 38:14Speaker 13: his name bigger. His dad left him with a legacy.
- 38:21Speaker 13: He has not left anything with a legacy. And this
- 38:25Speaker 13: CPAP thing that he has under the Trump CPAP, He
- 38:28Speaker 13: can take that money and pay whatever he wants. And
- 38:34Speaker 13: it don't have to be for the conservative Republican movement.
- 38:37Speaker 13: And people are still sending him money.
- 38:40Speaker 3: It's interesting to me, though. I watched that speech yesterday,
- 38:44Speaker 3: and I thought.
- 38:44Speaker 2: It was a great speech.
- 38:47Speaker 3: When you listen to Trump, Trump is comfortable being Trump. Trump,
- 38:52Speaker 3: when he speaks, it isn't dull. It isn't boring. And
- 38:56Speaker 3: you can speak off the cuff and he can hold
- 38:59Speaker 3: your attention. And I thought it was a really good
- 39:03Speaker 3: speech that he gave yesterday. As far as the people
- 39:07Speaker 3: that you're saying, no, they were there to disrupt. He
- 39:10Speaker 3: is there to speak. This is the president of the
- 39:12Speaker 3: United States speaking to the people that are there to
- 39:15Speaker 3: hear him. They're not there to hear somebody stand up,
- 39:18Speaker 3: hoot and holler and disrupt his presentation and his speech.
- 39:22Speaker 3: And that is why they are escorted out. Unlike what
- 39:25Speaker 3: you said, just as it would be escorted out under
- 39:27Speaker 3: other presidents as well.
- 39:29Speaker 9: Why?
- 39:30Speaker 2: No, they were.
- 39:31Speaker 3: They are not there to disrupt the presentation of the
- 39:34Speaker 3: President of the United States. The President of the United
- 39:36Speaker 3: States is not going to stand there and let somebody
- 39:39Speaker 3: stand up and start hollering and interrupting their speech for
- 39:42Speaker 3: the next hour when people are there to hear what
- 39:44Speaker 3: the President has to say. These people that you're defending
- 39:48Speaker 3: were rude, inconsiderate, wanted to cause a disruption, and that's
- 39:53Speaker 3: why they were removed. And they should have been removed.
- 39:58Speaker 3: The people weren't there to hear them. They were there
- 40:00Speaker 3: to hear the President of the United States, and they
- 40:02Speaker 3: were disrupting that. So they were interfering with the President's
- 40:06Speaker 3: freedom of speech.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Stand by. I'll come back to you and more calls
- 40:09Speaker 2: in just a minute. Stay tuned.
- 40:15Speaker 10: For 50 years.
- 40:16Speaker 1: News, weather and talk station 570 WKBN.
- 40:21Speaker 3: It's so defending people. I want to disrupt the president's
- 40:27Speaker 3: speech to the public and saying that they should be
- 40:30Speaker 3: allowed to sit there and go on for 20 minutes
- 40:33Speaker 3: or whatever. Doing that is unrealistic and they should be removed.
- 40:38Speaker 3: As I say again, people were not there for that.
- 40:42Speaker 3: He gave he gave an excellent speech. I don't understand what's–
- 40:47Speaker 3: I mean, it seems to me.
- 40:48Speaker 13: That's– Tell me after I've watched it twice now. What
- 40:53Speaker 13: was so excellent about his speech that should change my
- 40:58Speaker 13: mind in any shape or pattern?
- 41:02Speaker 3: Well, explain to me when you say change your mind
- 41:04Speaker 3: as far as what Trump is concerned. I'm not here
- 41:12Speaker 3: to change your mind or your impressions. You're entitled to
- 41:17Speaker 3: your views and you're entitled to your beliefs. As I
- 41:20Speaker 3: sit here and listen to you, I think to myself, well,
- 41:25Speaker 3: do you think Kamala Harris would have been a better president?
- 41:29Speaker 3: Do you think Kamala Harris would have closed the border?
- 41:33Speaker 3: solve that problem, which still haunts us with all these
- 41:36Speaker 3: people that are in your country illegally now that cost us.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Billions of billions of dollars.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Do you think Kamala Harris would have taken the regulations
- 41:46Speaker 3: off the drilling and so that we can drill offshore
- 41:51Speaker 3: and in federal land, the energy policy that's better, the
- 41:55Speaker 3: border policy that's better, the tax breaks, no tax on tips,
- 42:00Speaker 3: no tax on overtime? big deductions for those on Social Security?
- 42:05Speaker 3: Do you think any of that stuff would even be
- 42:07Speaker 3: reality if she was here? I mean, I sat here
- 42:11Speaker 3: and I listened to you, Billy Akin, about Trump for
- 42:13Speaker 3: that entire time, and it's like, is it that bad? Now,
- 42:19Speaker 3: I can object that he got involved in this situation
- 42:22Speaker 3: in Iran. And I say that on a regular basis.
- 42:25Speaker 3: But I always got to put a comment in there saying,
- 42:27Speaker 3: I don't know everything he and Rubio know. I don't
- 42:31Speaker 3: know what they know that they're not telling me. So
- 42:33Speaker 3: with that being said, I can say I object to it.
- 42:36Speaker 3: But there might be a reason why these guys... did
- 42:40Speaker 3: it and risk the midterms or potentially, well, not his
- 42:44Speaker 3: presidency because he's not up for re-election. But there might
- 42:46Speaker 3: be a reason why he did it, knowing it would
- 42:48Speaker 3: risk the midterms, because it was more important than the
- 42:51Speaker 3: midterms to him.
- 42:53Speaker 2: There is that possibility. Stand by. Let me do my headlines.
- 42:58Speaker 2: I'll come back to you.
- 42:59Speaker 3: I'll let you have the final say-so after we do
- 43:01Speaker 3: our break at 4.
- 43:02Speaker 2: All right, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. I'm not here to.
- 43:07Speaker 3: Change his opinion one way or the other. I just
- 43:09Speaker 3: don't agree with it. And I doubt he agrees with me.
- 43:27Speaker 18: Three weeks to Election Day.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I'm Lisa Brady.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Fox News.
- 43:31Speaker 18: Time's running out for either side to convince voters. And
- 43:33Speaker 18: House Speaker Mike Johnson tells Fox the polls are wrong
- 43:36Speaker 18: about a Democrat advantage.
- 43:38Speaker 16: Don't buy it.
- 43:39Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I'm on the ground in the swing districts.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I am seeing huge energy in crowds.
- 43:43Speaker 2: It feels like 2024 to me.
- 43:45Speaker 3: That's not registering in the polls, and we're fired up.
- 43:48Speaker 18: President Trump set to hold his latest rally in Alaska,
- 43:51Speaker 18: while Vice President J.D. Vance traveled to another state with
- 43:53Speaker 18: a tight Senate race, Texas.
- 43:55Speaker 19: We know that we're swimming against some serious historical trends here,
- 43:58Speaker 19: but I think that we have as good a chance
- 44:00Speaker 19: as I've ever seen to really defy those historical trends.
- 44:03Speaker 16: So we're not giving up anywhere.
- 44:04Speaker 19: We're just trying to win the races that we can
- 44:06Speaker 19: and focus where we can.
- 44:07Speaker 18: Meantime, former President Barack Obama adding events to his midterm calendar.
- 44:11Speaker 18: Already planning to visit Detroit, now he'll be in Cleveland
- 44:15Speaker 18: as well later this month to rally for Democrats, including
- 44:17Speaker 18: Sherrod Brown, who's trying to return to the U.S.
- 44:20Speaker 6: Senate.
- 44:20Speaker 16: Sherrod Brown has always fought for working people. standing up
- 44:24Speaker 16: to big corporations, standing up to Wall Street.
- 44:27Speaker 18: The former president posting a video, Brown faces incumbent Senator
- 44:30Speaker 18: John Husted, the Republican appointed to the seat vacated by
- 44:34Speaker 18: Vice President Vance. The only person ever charged in the
- 44:37Speaker 18: killing of Tupac Shakur will spend the rest of his
- 44:40Speaker 18: life behind bars.
- 44:41Speaker 20: Nevada 8th District Court Judge Carly Kearney sentencing Dwayne Davis
- 44:44Speaker 20: to 40 years to life in prison for orchestrating the
- 44:47Speaker 20: fatal 1996 shooting of rapper Tupac in Las Vegas.
- 44:51Speaker 21: The world never forgot about him and his death, and
- 44:53Speaker 21: neither did Las Vegas. It took us 30 years, but
- 44:56Speaker 21: at this time, you are going to face justice for
- 44:59Speaker 21: what you did on September 7, 1996.
- 45:01Speaker 20: Well, prosecutors say Davis, a former leader of the Southside
- 45:04Speaker 20: Compton Crips gang, didn't pull the trigger. The now 63-year-old
- 45:07Speaker 20: had given interviews and detailed his role in the shooting
- 45:10Speaker 20: in a 2019 memoir.
- 45:11Speaker 18: Fox's Kristen Goodwin, an appeal is planned. A down day
- 45:16Speaker 18: on Wall Street. The Dow down 179 points at the bell.
- 45:21Speaker 18: America is listening to Fox News.
- 45:26Speaker 22: You never know who might be taking the quiz.
- 45:30Speaker 13: Hey, everyone.
- 45:31Speaker 16: I'm Nicole Polizzi. I'm Candace Cameron-Buray.
- 45:33Speaker 15: It's Murr from the TV show Impractical Jokers.
- 45:36Speaker 10: I'm Maxim Chmierkowski.
- 45:37Speaker 6: It's Nia Su.
- 45:38Speaker 2: What is up, everyone?
- 45:39Speaker 7: I'm Adam Richman.
- 45:40Speaker 3: I'm Jeff Foxworthy.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Hey, everyone.
- 45:42Speaker 10: It's Terrell Owens, NFL Hall of Famer, and it's time.
- 45:45Speaker 16: To take the quiz.

- 45:50Speaker 22: and follow at thequiz.fox.

- 46:11Speaker 23: from the political circus to the wild world of pop culture.

- 46:25Speaker 16: A to Z dependable services, plumbing, septic, heating, cooling, and
- 46:28Speaker 16: one-day baths.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Still dealing with stop-and-go traffic?
- 46:31Speaker 1: That's Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 46:40Speaker 2: But go ahead with your comments, please.
- 46:43Speaker 13: Well, it wasn't so much the changing of the ideas.
- 46:48Speaker 13: It was so much as to say, maybe this is wrong.
- 46:53Speaker 13: And what I'm saying is, 34 accounts were put, he
- 46:58Speaker 13: was judged. He got away with that. He judged on
- 47:02Speaker 13: it until he found somebody to get him out of it.
- 47:04Speaker 13: Then when he'd be going into office, he was continuously
- 47:07Speaker 13: claiming that Biden armed the judicial system to go after
- 47:12Speaker 13: him and him personally. When he came into office, what
- 47:15Speaker 13: did he do? Not only did he double down on it,
- 47:18Speaker 13: but he tripled down on it and went after people
- 47:21Speaker 13: that did not agree with him. Now this pedophile thing,
- 47:28Speaker 13: somehow he got the weak-kneed sisters in Washington, D.C. not
- 47:34Speaker 13: to investigate it until it's complete. And that's what's nauseating.
- 47:42Speaker 3: So you're talking about Epstein. Let me just back up.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Wasn't it clear to you, as it was, I think,
- 47:48Speaker 3: obvious to everyone that they were using the system to
- 47:50Speaker 3: go after Trump? I mean, at no point did I
- 47:52Speaker 3: hear you say, for example, in his first term, the
- 47:55Speaker 3: whole Russian hoax thing, which was a hoax perpetrated by
- 47:59Speaker 3: the Democrats for three years. It was all bullcrap for
- 48:03Speaker 3: three years. and no one's been held accountable or responsible
- 48:08Speaker 3: for it. I didn't hear you say anything about that.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Now let me shift to you're talking about the government
- 48:15Speaker 3: going after him.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Well, that's not some imaginary thing. We all watched it happen.
- 48:21Speaker 3: We're supposed to believe that a woman was sexually assaulted,
- 48:26Speaker 3: not raped, sexually assaulted in a dressing room in a
- 48:29Speaker 3: department store in And never screamed. She's in a department store.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Never screamed. Never filed a police report. Never called the cops.
- 48:39Speaker 3: We're just supposed to say, oh, what she says, her
- 48:43Speaker 3: word is true. And we just are supposed to accept it.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Seems a little far-fetched to me just as a person.
- 48:50Speaker 3: If that's going on and you're in a dressing room,
- 48:52Speaker 3: why didn't you scream? Why didn't you call the cops?
- 48:54Speaker 3: Why didn't you report it? But you just accept it
- 48:57Speaker 3: when that's and that's OK, because we've seen numbers of
- 49:00Speaker 3: cases where it's believed the woman and the woman isn't
- 49:04Speaker 3: totally truthful or has a political agenda that's going on,
- 49:08Speaker 3: whether that's the Kavanaugh hearings or other other situations. And
- 49:12Speaker 3: that's not right. I don't care if it's a Democrat
- 49:14Speaker 3: or Republican, you or anybody else. That's a serious allegation
- 49:19Speaker 3: that's that. made when you talk about that. But we've
- 49:21Speaker 3: also seen people that have come forward, we call them whistleblowers,
- 49:26Speaker 3: that said that they were pressured by the Biden administration
- 49:30Speaker 3: to do something of which I never heard of before
- 49:33Speaker 3: till Trump was there. debanking his entire family. I never
- 49:38Speaker 3: had heard of such a thing. But wait a minute,
- 49:40Speaker 3: I'm not making it up. The regulators that were involved
- 49:44Speaker 3: in it came forward as whistleblowers saying that they were
- 49:46Speaker 3: forced to do this at these banks.
- 49:49Speaker 2: Well, what does that mean?
- 49:51Speaker 3: Well, all of a sudden, Bank of America and these
- 49:53Speaker 3: banks would no longer do business with Donald Trump or
- 49:56Speaker 3: Barron Trump or Donald Trump's wife or his entire family.
- 50:00Speaker 3: They debanked him. So he had to go to these
- 50:03Speaker 3: small regional banks to start to do his business. And
- 50:10Speaker 3: I'm not done. This isn't something I'm making up. These
- 50:14Speaker 3: are the people that were behind doing it that have
- 50:16Speaker 3: come forth as whistleblowers. I have never heard of such
- 50:19Speaker 3: a thing. Trump passed laws to prevent that from happening
- 50:23Speaker 3: to anybody that they could be debanked based on their politics.
- 50:29Speaker 3: It doesn't matter if you're a Democrat or Republican. But
- 50:31Speaker 3: prior to that happening to the entire Trump family, including
- 50:33Speaker 3: his children, I've never heard of that. Till these guys
- 50:37Speaker 3: came forward with it.
- 50:39Speaker 7: At all.
- 50:40Speaker 13: They came forward with it. You're right, they did.
- 50:44Speaker 3: All right, but you're saying the government going after him.
- 50:47Speaker 3: These are shining examples of the government going after him.
- 50:50Speaker 3: You had a prosecutor in New York elected. Before she
- 50:53Speaker 3: was prosecutor running on a campaign, you elect me and
- 50:55Speaker 3: I'll go after that SOB.
- 50:58Speaker 2: That was her campaign.
- 51:00Speaker 13: What did she go after him for?
- 51:02Speaker 3: Whatever could fit her agenda to go after him for.
- 51:07Speaker 13: The way he went ahead and set up his properties
- 51:09Speaker 13: as being lower in cost so he didn't have to
- 51:12Speaker 13: pay so much in taxes. So when he went to
- 51:14Speaker 13: go loans from the bank, he turned around and they...
- 51:17Speaker 13: he would raise the price so he could get a
- 51:19Speaker 13: bigger loan and lower interest.
- 51:20Speaker 2: But wait a minute.
- 51:21Speaker 7: He lied.
- 51:21Speaker 6: No, he did not.
- 51:22Speaker 13: He lied about the square footage.
- 51:25Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Even the bank came forward and said, we didn't lose
- 51:29Speaker 3: any money. There are no victims here. Does it not
- 51:34Speaker 3: occur to you that when that whole situation took place,
- 51:37Speaker 3: there were no victims?
- 51:39Speaker 2: Nobody was harmed.
- 51:41Speaker 3: And Trump's argument was, listen, this is what I think
- 51:44Speaker 3: this is worth. They, like any bank, can come out
- 51:47Speaker 3: and do an appraisal. If they choose not to do that.
- 51:51Speaker 3: But don't you think it was unprecedented, as a matter
- 51:54Speaker 3: of fact, was the case. These cases are unprecedented. Never
- 51:59Speaker 3: happened before. When you start to look around, he clearly
- 52:03Speaker 3: was a victim of people seeking the government after him.
- 52:09Speaker 3: I'm not for the government going after anybody, Democrat or Republicans.
- 52:13Speaker 3: I wasn't for when they would stick the IRS after
- 52:18Speaker 3: the Tea Party. I'm against when Nixon used the IRS
- 52:22Speaker 3: to go after reporters. I don't give a damn, so
- 52:25Speaker 3: I can make it clear to you. I don't give
- 52:28Speaker 3: a damn if it's a Democrat or Republican. I am
- 52:30Speaker 3: against people using the government to go after politicians. When
- 52:35Speaker 3: it's unwarranted, unless they're guilty of there's a legitimate investigation
- 52:40Speaker 3: of corruption. But I am against using the governments to
- 52:43Speaker 3: go after citizens of this country. And I've been around
- 52:47Speaker 3: long enough that I've that I've watched it happen. And
- 52:50Speaker 3: you've been around long enough when Nixon did it with
- 52:52Speaker 3: the IRS. Obama did it with the IRS after the
- 52:55Speaker 3: Tea Party.
- 52:56Speaker 2: This is wrong.
- 52:58Speaker 3: And I've been around long enough to see somebody working
- 53:01Speaker 3: at the IRS that released Trump's tax returns and Sean Hannity.
- 53:05Speaker 3: That's your private property. It is against the law to
- 53:07Speaker 3: do that. And what happens? Well, OK, that person who
- 53:12Speaker 3: did it ended up going to jail. But wait a minute.
- 53:16Speaker 3: The New York Times published it anyway because they hate
- 53:18Speaker 3: him so much. And they should be sued for doing
- 53:21Speaker 3: that because that's a stolen information. That's private information. You
- 53:26Speaker 3: have no right in publishing his tax returns, nor do
- 53:30Speaker 3: they have any right in doing that to you.
- 53:31Speaker 13: And why did the president's previous to him went ahead
- 53:34Speaker 13: and would put their tax returns.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Okay, they can choose to do that. But if he
- 53:39Speaker 3: chooses not to do that, he can choose not to
- 53:41Speaker 3: do that as well. His tax return is a lot
- 53:44Speaker 3: more complicated than all the rest of them. Because it's
- 53:48Speaker 3: much larger. He's been a bigger businessman for years. He's
- 53:51Speaker 3: accomplished more in his life. His tax return is a
- 53:54Speaker 3: lot more complicated than a community organizer from Chicago. Or
- 53:58Speaker 3: a couple of hillbillies from Arkansas. So when you look
- 54:01Speaker 3: at it, he has every right to say I'm not
- 54:03Speaker 3: going to release my tax return. It's none of your
- 54:06Speaker 3: damn business. And quite frankly, I wouldn't release mine. I
- 54:09Speaker 3: doubt that you would want to release yours.
- 54:11Speaker 2: It's private.
- 54:12Speaker 3: And therein lies the reality. The government did go after Trump.
- 54:16Speaker 3: We saw it time and time again. And more information
- 54:20Speaker 3: has come out where this was the case. With with
- 54:24Speaker 3: the entire Trump family. So when you when you talk
- 54:28Speaker 3: about that, that's wrong. And we know they went after
- 54:30Speaker 3: him with the Russian hoax. And that was all made
- 54:33Speaker 3: up nonsense. So I don't know when I hear you
- 54:38Speaker 3: say this kind of stuff. Then I sit back and say, okay,
- 54:42Speaker 3: so he's using government. Listen, I don't know that he's
- 54:45Speaker 3: politically going after Ilhan Omar. I think there's legitimate questions
- 54:49Speaker 3: there about her being married to her brother, her coming
- 54:54Speaker 3: to this country, and her wealth that was reported and
- 55:01Speaker 3: unreported in that entire situation. Just because she's Somalian doesn't
- 55:06Speaker 3: mean we can't look at that or it should be
- 55:09Speaker 3: looked at. There's plenty of legitimate questions there with her,
- 55:13Speaker 3: as there should be legitimate questions with any of these
- 55:15Speaker 3: people that are engaged in some of this stuff or
- 55:20Speaker 3: reviews that should happen. I still to this day say,
- 55:24Speaker 3: I don't understand how a community organizer from Chicago, the Obamas,
- 55:27Speaker 3: left office so damn rich. They didn't have it coming in.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I don't understand how two hillbillies from Arkansas left so
- 55:34Speaker 3: damn rich. They didn't have it coming in. I mean,
- 55:37Speaker 3: so obviously shenanigans are going on. Now, all I'm saying
- 55:42Speaker 3: to you is when I listen to you talk about Trump,
- 55:44Speaker 3: the border is secure. We don't have this invasion that's
- 55:49Speaker 3: going on. It cost us billions of dollars and many
- 55:52Speaker 3: people their lives because we let scoundrels into this country.
- 55:57Speaker 2: That's secure.
- 55:58Speaker 3: But where are the Democrats doing nothing but bitching when
- 56:01Speaker 3: we try to get these people out of this country?
- 56:04Speaker 3: They're siding with the people who came here illegally that
- 56:06Speaker 3: we know nothing about, including criminals in sanctuary cities and
- 56:11Speaker 3: against law enforcement.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Is that what you want? I mean, so what?
- 56:18Speaker 3: So Trump reverses Democrat stuff. We hire on merit. We
- 56:21Speaker 3: don't hire based on your transgender, your gay or your
- 56:24Speaker 3: skin color. We're not going to allow that in colleges.
- 56:28Speaker 3: We're not going to say, hey, you call her, you
- 56:31Speaker 3: fill her. I forget your first name.
- 56:32Speaker 2: I apologize.
- 56:33Speaker 3: We're not going to let you in even though you're qualified.
- 56:36Speaker 3: You did the best on the test because you're a
- 56:38Speaker 3: white guy. We're going to let this person in. Well,
- 56:40Speaker 3: that's not right. That's not fair to you. That should
- 56:43Speaker 3: have never happened in the first place. You are old
- 56:46Speaker 3: enough as I'm old enough. I remember Alan Bakke when
- 56:49Speaker 3: he ran, when he wanted to go to medical school
- 56:52Speaker 3: and he qualified for it and they wouldn't let him
- 56:54Speaker 3: in because he was a white guy.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Well, that's wrong.
- 56:58Speaker 3: And then I watched. They wouldn't let Asians into Harvard
- 57:01Speaker 3: because they did the best. But, well, you're Asian.
- 57:03Speaker 2: We got too many Asians.
- 57:05Speaker 3: This is insanity. So all of a sudden, with the Democrats,
- 57:09Speaker 3: we don't want to base this stuff on merit or accomplishments.
- 57:12Speaker 3: We know you're the best. But we're not going to
- 57:15Speaker 3: let that happen. Well, how would you like that if
- 57:18Speaker 3: you ran a sports team that way? I mean, if
- 57:22Speaker 3: you're not good enough, you don't start. I mean, we
- 57:25Speaker 3: don't do it in sports. If you suck, we get
- 57:28Speaker 3: rid of you. We put and get somebody else. Well,
- 57:31Speaker 3: that's in the private sector, kind of how things used
- 57:34Speaker 3: to be. We hire what we think are the best
- 57:36Speaker 3: people for the job. I don't want somebody flying my
- 57:39Speaker 3: airplane that's there because they're gay or transgender or not
- 57:43Speaker 3: the best in the cockpit. I want somebody there that
- 57:46Speaker 3: is the best or in the operating room or that's
- 57:50Speaker 3: fixing my car or doing my plumbing or electrical work.
- 57:55Speaker 3: I mean, I hear you say this stuff, and it's like,
- 57:58Speaker 3: what are you talking about? I did my spiel.
- 58:03Speaker 13: That was pretty good.
- 58:04Speaker 7: That was pretty good.
- 58:08Speaker 13: You managed to twang it around. But it still don't
- 58:15Speaker 13: shake my personal feelings on it.
- 58:19Speaker 3: I understand it. I'm not here to change it. I'm
- 58:22Speaker 3: not here to change it. Listen, does Trump have his flaws?
- 58:25Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 58:26Speaker 3: But I think he does put the country first. I'm
- 58:31Speaker 3: an old guy like you. All of my life, as
- 58:34Speaker 3: I said to you before, I've been disappointed by most presidents,
- 58:36Speaker 3: Democrats and Republicans.
- 58:38Speaker 2: They're globalists.
- 58:39Speaker 3: They didn't seem to give a damn about me or
- 58:41Speaker 3: this country. I enthusiastically voted for Perot. I enthusiastically voted
- 58:47Speaker 3: for Trump, and I still support Trump, because for once,
- 58:50Speaker 3: I get what he's doing.
- 58:52Speaker 13: I voted for Perot, too. I thought he was the
- 58:54Speaker 13: guy for the job, but too many people thought he
- 58:57Speaker 13: was just downright boring.
- 59:00Speaker 3: But he was smart. And here's Trump. Perot, like another
- 59:03Speaker 3: kind of wacky rich guy. I get frustrated with Trump,
- 59:07Speaker 3: his egotism, and some of the stuff that he does.
- 59:11Speaker 3: But on the other hand, I put a comma there.
- 59:15Speaker 3: On the other hand, it's a little bit refreshing because
- 59:17Speaker 3: I get tired of the phoniness that I would see
- 59:20Speaker 3: over the years. Some guy going to Iowa running for office,
- 59:24Speaker 3: and I'm going to wear blue jeans and a plaid
- 59:26Speaker 3: shirt so I look like a farmer. You know, it's
- 59:30Speaker 3: as comical as when Tim Ryan would put on his
- 59:32Speaker 3: Carhartts or Dickey clothing to try to act like he
- 59:35Speaker 3: was a working man and could relate to the people
- 59:38Speaker 3: that he was talking to in the ads. Well, when
- 59:40Speaker 3: Tim Ryan lost for Congress, he didn't go work at
- 59:42Speaker 3: the battery plant. He left town and went to Columbus
- 59:45Speaker 3: as a lobbyist making millions of dollars. So, you know,
- 59:48Speaker 3: I'm tired of that phoniness, that facade of trying to
- 59:53Speaker 3: betray something.
- 59:54Speaker 2: That you're not.
- 59:56Speaker 13: He's not doing anything.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Trump goes to Iowa in a certain time.
- 59:59Speaker 13: He's not doing anything for the infrastructure, rebuilding roads. He
- 1:00:03Speaker 13: lowered the EPA standards on our water. He got rid
- 1:00:07Speaker 13: of a bunch of inspectors for our meat and our
- 1:00:09Speaker 13: vegetables and stuff going across the United States.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Have you had any major problems? I mean, I haven't
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: heard of any major problems with our water. I don't
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: know how much of that he's got rid of or
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: any outbreaks with our meat.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: Or anything along those lines that we have in this country.
- 1:00:25Speaker 13: You're about the meat and the vegetables all the time.
- 1:00:28Speaker 13: You're seeing it. You're hearing about it a lot.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: Well, you can have some E. coli on lettuce and things.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: We've had those problems, and they should be recalled. But
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: you've always had some of those issues. So I don't
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: know what to tell you. I don't eat in fear.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: I go to Chipotle, and I enjoy it. I thoroughly
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: enjoy it.
- 1:00:59Speaker 13: I always work my gallbladder up. I don't want my gallbladder,
- 1:01:06Speaker 13: you know what I mean.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I still like talking to you. I'll talk to you later,
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: all right?
- 1:01:13Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: You have a nice day.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: I hope your gallbladder settles down.
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: As long as I don't eat some certain.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: Foods, I'm okay.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: How's your gout?
- 1:01:22Speaker 13: Oh, I don't have gout.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: Are your bowel movements working okay?
- 1:01:28Speaker 13: Yeah, typically two a day.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: You're a joy. I enjoy hearing your voice. Thank you,
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: my friend. He is a joy.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: Hello.
- 1:01:44Speaker 24: That was a pretty good call, but he didn't want
- 1:01:46Speaker 24: to rain on your parade, so he listened to the
- 1:01:48Speaker 24: Trump speech twice.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: I like the guy, though.
- 1:01:52Speaker 25: I know, it's a little good.
- 1:01:54Speaker 24: I'm just saying, he's kind of obsessed. I watched it
- 1:01:58Speaker 24: twice so that I could call in and not rain
- 1:02:00Speaker 24: on your parade. Right.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: But, but, but he's a, he's a, listen, here's what
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: I like about that caller. He sat there and listened
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: to my diet. He said, that's pretty good. But I
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: don't agree with it.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: There's everything.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: I enjoy his call on it. And when he calls
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: me and he calls me a lot of days, I
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: love every one of his calls. I don't know what
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: there is about him. I just enjoy his, but he's
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: a very polite man. I enjoy his give and take.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: And like I said to him, I said, I'm not
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: here to change your mind. He's entitled to his thoughts
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: and opinions.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: But go ahead. It's a guru from Gerard. Go ahead, guru.
- 1:02:36Speaker 24: Well, I, you know, I told you I voted, so
- 1:02:38Speaker 24: I don't really have, like, I'm done, you know. And
- 1:02:40Speaker 24: the only reason I kind of paid attention to this
- 1:02:43Speaker 24: is I actually wanted to watch how the opponents just
- 1:02:51Speaker 24: watched their TVS in full bloom, you know.
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: And it's here it is.
- 1:02:56Speaker 24: And I think whoever runs WFMJ is I mean, I
- 1:03:01Speaker 24: don't I appreciate what they do for local news, maybe sports,
- 1:03:05Speaker 24: but I can't listen to it. I mean, it's just
- 1:03:08Speaker 24: it's so predictable how they just look for that one
- 1:03:11Speaker 24: thing to, you know, this.
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: Great thing happened.
- 1:03:14Speaker 24: But Trump had a pimple on his nose. Did you
- 1:03:16Speaker 24: see it?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I mean, that's the.
- 1:03:19Speaker 24: News from WFMJ. Trump's got a pimple on his nose.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: Stand by, stand by. I've got to explore this more.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: It's the guru from Girard, Ron Furb from the Kingdom
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: of Mahoney.
- 1:03:31Speaker 26: I'll be a strong voice for our county, fighting for
- 1:03:35Speaker 26: the resources we deserve. Thoughtful leadership, real accountability, a stronger
- 1:03:39Speaker 26: community for all of us. Proudly paid for by Warren
- 1:03:41Speaker 26: McNally for Ohio.
- 1:04:02Speaker 16: All sports are on iHeartRadio. News, weather, and talk station.
- 1:04:06Speaker 16: 570 WKBN.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: All right, back to it. Where is it? Are you there, Guru?
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: Wait a minute. Guru.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: I'm here. All right.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: So go ahead, Guru, with your comments, please.
- 1:04:20Speaker 24: Well, it's just kind of amazing, like, to watch the
- 1:04:26Speaker 24: reaction of the opponents of Trump. I mean, it's just
- 1:04:29Speaker 24: a political speech. He came and, you know... But they
- 1:04:31Speaker 24: turned it into their show.
- 1:04:34Speaker 25: You know what I mean?
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: I don't know. What did FMJ do? I confess I
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: didn't watch it.
- 1:04:42Speaker 24: Go to Facebook when you're off the air or whatever.
- 1:04:46Speaker 24: And just look up, go to WFMJ's Facebook site. And
- 1:04:49Speaker 24: you'll see it's just there's all these articles that they
- 1:04:55Speaker 24: don't address like what's really happening. They just address some
- 1:04:58Speaker 24: negative aspect of Trump.
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: Over and over again.
- 1:05:03Speaker 24: Whoever's in charge of that is, they have a sick mind.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: In other words, you think there's obviously a liberal bias
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: at FMJ, in your opinion.
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:05:17Speaker 24: It's like, you know, I don't care less whether they
- 1:05:19Speaker 24: believe me or not. I stopped watching it. But last
- 1:05:23Speaker 24: night I just watched it just to see, to prove
- 1:05:25Speaker 24: my point, you know.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: I get you.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: I get you.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: It's right.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: I understand what you're saying. It's just like, I'll say
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: it again. Look at all the people that showed up
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: starting very early in the morning to go to Covelli
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: to watch Trump. Just look at that crowd. And of course,
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: you're going to have people say, well, it wasn't full. Yeah,
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: but guess what? It's more than anybody else could gather.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: I can't think of in my lifetime, as I say,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: other than when I was a little kid, JFK, maybe Reagan.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: But only three names come to mind. I think Trump
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: draws more of a crowd than Reagan. and possibly JFK.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: I don't think there's any other political figure that could
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: draw a crowd like that at Covelli, which I don't
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: care if all the seats are taken or not. It's
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: a hell of a crowd that shows up on a
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Monday afternoon on a short notice to see the guy speak.
- 1:06:17Speaker 24: At the risk of being called out, a MAGA and
- 1:06:20Speaker 24: all kinds of names, and then people getting angry at
- 1:06:25Speaker 24: you because you showed your face there. How many people
- 1:06:28Speaker 24: didn't show up because those people are so sick they
- 1:06:31Speaker 24: can't let the political process happen on its own without
- 1:06:35Speaker 24: getting involved and being personal about it and all sorts
- 1:06:38Speaker 24: of things that no one did to them?
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: What does that mean? You lost me there. You talked
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: over my head, Professor.
- 1:06:46Speaker 24: It means that they were on Facebook and everywhere for
- 1:06:51Speaker 24: days and weeks ahead of time, letting everyone know that
- 1:06:54Speaker 24: they were going to be watching who was there, that
- 1:06:56Speaker 24: they were buying tickets, that they hated the whole thing.
- 1:06:59Speaker 24: How many people didn't show up because they just didn't
- 1:07:01Speaker 24: want to deal with it?
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: I mean, I looked at the Democrats and the protesters. Listen,
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: I have my bias. I looked at them as a
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: bunch of loons. I mean, I just tell you right now,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: I said, look at these lunatics. I mean, shut up,
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: go home, and Trump, make a speech and go live
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: your life. I mean, I just, you'll take a look
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: at some of these Democrats running. I mean, they are
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: as goofy as a day is long. I'm telling you.
- 1:07:26Speaker 24: Look, you know what, Ron, I left the Democratic Party.
- 1:07:29Speaker 24: I didn't join the Republican Party. And so I'm sitting
- 1:07:32Speaker 24: here in the middle, right?
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: And I am, I really am.
- 1:07:34Speaker 24: I try to be very honest.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: What was that song? What was the song in the
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: middle of? What was that song?
- 1:07:43Speaker 24: Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right.
- 1:07:45Speaker 24: Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes. Yeah, you're stuck in the middle, huh?
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:07:57Speaker 24: I'll tell you what I'm going to do, buddy.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: Here I am, stuck in the middle with you. And
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: that's where you are politically. But you're always fair-minded. You
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: call it as you see it.
- 1:08:12Speaker 24: But what's not going to happen, right? The old thing,
- 1:08:15Speaker 24: sugar is better than spice. You know what I mean?
- 1:08:20Speaker 24: I'm not going to come back to the party by
- 1:08:21Speaker 24: you scolding me.
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: I'm going to come back when you start making some sense.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Do you think I would ever, any of you out there,
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: as a white guy, do you think I could support
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: the Democrat Party that insulted me and continues to tell
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: me the only way I accomplished anything in my life
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: was because of white privilege, which is an absolute load
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: of crap? And, you know, they insult me. Oh, it's
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: it's just because of white privilege. Oh, if you're white,
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: you must be a white supremacist. I mean, this is
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: the Democrat Party. And of course, you know, God forbid,
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: if you have your beliefs, whether they're based on religion
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: or biology, that you can't say there's anything odd or
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: weird about a guy wearing a dress.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Oh, Ron, I need one more.
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: You got it.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: You got it.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Hang on. I'll come back to you. News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 1:09:18Speaker 16: Heads up for Toledo.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: The Ohio Air National Guard's 180th fighter wing will conduct
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: nighttime training with F-16 fighter jets for the next three nights.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: The training should wrap up by 10 p.m.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Each night.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: In other news, Cleveland is recognizing today's date, October 13th,
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: as Bernie Kosar Day. Kosar made his first NFL regular
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: season start on this day in 1985-1989. and led the
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: Browns to a 21-6 win over the Houston Oilers. He
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: ended up starting over 100 career games and throwing for
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: over 23,000 yards in 12 seasons. The Cleveland City Council
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: presented him with a plaque last night to show their
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: appreciation for his dedication, commitment, and contributions to the city
- 1:10:05Speaker 5: and the team.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: I'm Daniel Barnard.

- 1:10:21Speaker 16: one-day baths.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb. On NewsRadio 570. WKBN.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: All right. Let me see. Back to the guru. Okay.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: What's your comment?
- 1:10:36Speaker 8: It.
- 1:10:37Speaker 24: Yeah, just that whole thing about discrimination against white men
- 1:10:43Speaker 24: in the Biden era even went to as far as
- 1:10:48Speaker 24: who they gave money to. You know, it had to
- 1:10:51Speaker 24: be like in 2021, American Rescue Plan created a restaurant
- 1:10:54Speaker 24: revitalization fund that gave priority during the first 21 days
- 1:10:58Speaker 24: to businesses owned by women, veterans, and socially and economically
- 1:11:01Speaker 24: disadvantaged individuals. If you're a white man, sorry, you're out
- 1:11:04Speaker 24: of business. You're out of luck. You know, stuff like that,
- 1:11:06Speaker 24: like the appointments, you know, hire someone if it's a woman, you.
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: Know, all these things.
- 1:11:13Speaker 24: It's just like sex and religion just shouldn't be part
- 1:11:15Speaker 24: of the situation, the decision-making process, no matter what it is.
- 1:11:24Speaker 24: You know, you can't end racism with more racism.
- 1:11:27Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 1:11:27Speaker 24: I'm ending on that, Ron. I hope you have a
- 1:11:30Speaker 24: wonderful day.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: Thank you, Guru. NewsRadio 570, WKBN. You're on the air. Hey, Ronnie.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: How are you doing today?
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: I'm doing well. It's the unknown caller.
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: Hey, how about them Guardians last night, huh?
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: What a game.
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: I mean, what an exciting, exciting game. I mean, there
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: for a while you thought, is this just going to
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: end two to nothing and they're on the losing end? But, man,
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: the bats came alive.
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:11:56Speaker 27: Yeah, I listened to it on the radio the whole game.
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: And I enjoy that because you can.
- 1:12:02Speaker 27: Get stuff done instead of just sitting in front of
- 1:12:05Speaker 27: a TV, you know.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: What do you have to do that was so important?
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: Well, you know, sometimes I got to go, but.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Oh, you mean, in that case.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: I got to keep to my bathroom, so that wasn't
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: a problem.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: In that case, you really did have to go, if
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: you know what I mean.
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: Yeah. No, but the caller, a couple of callers back,
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: I think he was the guy that watched the speech twice,
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: and it was unhappy. I mean, like.
- 1:12:32Speaker 27: You were talking about the two hillbillies from Arkansas.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: And Barack Obama, you know, living on Martha's Vineyard.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: And the Bidens. And the Bidens, they all come in
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: with no money, and they leave filthy, stinking rich.
- 1:12:49Speaker 6: Yeah, well, how about.
- 1:12:50Speaker 27: There was an investigation into Ilhan.
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: Omar where when she married her, like.
- 1:12:56Speaker 27: Fourth husband, not her brother, but they had a... They
- 1:13:02Speaker 27: had $ 42 in the bank account, and then, like, two
- 1:13:05Speaker 27: years later, they were worth.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: $ 25 million.
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: Nothing to see here, right?
- 1:13:12Speaker 27: I mean, I don't know if everything is anything like that.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: You just wanted to know if they had their own
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: leering centers.
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: Obviously, that's what I want. I could learn real good, Ronnie.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: I bet you can.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: How about Trump when he was talking about John Huston?
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: What an athlete he is. Look at the hands on
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: that guy. You know, he's very muscular.
- 1:13:38Speaker 27: I don't usually do this, but I was looking at his,
- 1:13:40Speaker 27: you know what, I'm checking his hands.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: I mean, that's the great thing about Trump. He's just
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Trump's himself. He's like saying, well, look at this guy.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: I never knew.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: And frankly, I didn't know he was that great a
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: football player either until Trump.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: Talked about it.
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:59Speaker 27: About Trump, though, Trump's the only guy for the last
- 1:14:01Speaker 27: 50 years been saying the same thing about what he
- 1:14:04Speaker 27: believes in, you know, how we're getting screwed as a
- 1:14:07Speaker 27: country because everybody's just taking advantage of us. And, you know,
- 1:14:11Speaker 27: all the crooks in the government, all that.
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: I mean, who else?
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Who else did not change.
- 1:14:16Speaker 27: Their mind, you know, running for election the.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Last 50 years? I mean, you could go back and see.
- 1:14:24Speaker 27: Tapes of him, like with Oprah and stuff, saying, you yeah,
- 1:14:28Speaker 27: we're getting screwed, you know, we gotta get the country
- 1:14:30Speaker 27: back and blah, blah, blah. So, like, yeah, he's the
- 1:14:34Speaker 27: only one that I can remember in my lifetime, the
- 1:14:36Speaker 27: only politician that would actually, you know, he didn't change
- 1:14:40Speaker 27: his tone at all, and I think he ran just
- 1:14:42Speaker 27: to save the country. You know, I think he thought
- 1:14:47Speaker 27: he had a chance, but also the one caller was
- 1:14:51Speaker 27: complaining about Trump destroying the White House, tearing it down. Well,
- 1:14:56Speaker 27: he's putting a new ballroom in there.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: So, like, what was it?
- 1:15:02Speaker 27: I think it was back in April of this year
- 1:15:04Speaker 27: where they were at Washington Hilton, and that guy came
- 1:15:08Speaker 27: in with a gun, shot a cop, but they had
- 1:15:11Speaker 27: to rush Trump out of there at the correspondence dinner.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:18Speaker 27: Well, that's why he's building a ballroom for future presidents
- 1:15:22Speaker 27: so they don't have to worry about getting shot in
- 1:15:25Speaker 27: some hotel. It's going to be at the White House ballroom.
- 1:15:30Speaker 4: You know, it's going to be not for him.
- 1:15:33Speaker 27: It's for future presidents and for the pride of the
- 1:15:39Speaker 27: country to have a place like that, you know?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have a problem with it. I mean,
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: do you? I mean, I certainly don't.
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: No, I don't.
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: I don't at all.
- 1:15:50Speaker 27: And then, like the Epstein file, he brought up the
- 1:15:53Speaker 27: Epstein file. Do you think if they had something on
- 1:15:56Speaker 27: him in the Epstein file, they wouldn't have brought it up, like,
- 1:16:00Speaker 27: you know, 10 years ago?
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Absolutely they would have.
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:16:07Speaker 25: Oh, yeah.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: But see, the only one that they're critical of is
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Trump when it comes to the Epstein files. And he's
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: released more than anybody has done with the Epstein files.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Wait a minute. Didn't the Epstein files and the whole
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: situation exist under Biden?
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Under Obama?
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: Where were they?
- 1:16:25Speaker 7: Why didn't they bring it up?
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:16:28Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 1:16:30Speaker 27: I saw Dave Thomas in the background behind Trump there.
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: This is why the unknown caller is on his game.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: Here's what happened at my house. Are you ready for
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: this unknown caller?
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: All right, here we go.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: I'm listening.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: I'm looking at the television as Trump is speaking, and
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: I said to my wife, I said, hey, look, there's
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Dave Thomas right behind Trump.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: You know what my wife said?
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: Is that the guy that makes the burgers?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: No, she didn't say that.
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: What'd she say?
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: He's cute.
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: Oh.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: Whoa.
- 1:17:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Better have him.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Listen to that. That is what my wife said about
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: Dave Thomas standing behind Trump. There he was with his
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: beard and his hair. And my wife says, oh, he's cute.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: I got to tell that to Dave Thomas. I got
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: to call him on that. Yeah, but he was standing there.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: I saw that, but I thought all the speeches were good.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: I thought Rooley's speech was good. You know, I get
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: a full report probably between, hopefully between five and six
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: by G2 who was there. But the guy, there was
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: a big crowd, but oh, not all the seats were full.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: Well, it's more than anybody else ever draws you negative
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: nabobs of negativity.
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: That's what I call them, too, Ronnie.
- 1:18:00Speaker 27: But Houston looked a little nervous reading.
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: The teleprompter there. You know, he just looked a little nervous.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: But they came up. He was, like, a lot smoother. But, yeah,
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: the protester.
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: Though, huh?
- 1:18:17Speaker 27: How about Trump said, oh, well, he's going to go
- 1:18:20Speaker 27: home to mommy and maybe go on a diet.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: Yeah, wasn't that great?
- 1:18:27Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:18:28Speaker 27: But he just calls it like it is, you know?
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Yeah. That was one of the best. I mean, can
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: you imagine?
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: You go there to disrupt the whole night, and in essence,
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: Trump gets the better of you by telling you, hey.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Fatso, get out of here.
- 1:18:45Speaker 27: I should have been there to have him put a
- 1:18:47Speaker 27: bag over his head, you know?
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: You could have been.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: The unknown caller sitting there with that grocery bag and
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: had an extra one for that person.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Take him away. Take him away.
- 1:18:57Speaker 25: Yeah.
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: Hey, no eyes cut out on it, though.
- 1:18:59Speaker 27: He'd have to find his way home with no eyeballs.
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: There you go. All right. Go ahead.
- 1:19:04Speaker 24: Wait, wait.
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: Before you were talking about, I think, Rubio, the speech.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:19:09Speaker 27: You know how nothing's been here. Remember during COVID, none
- 1:19:13Speaker 27: of the medicine is made here. I mean, that's a
- 1:19:16Speaker 27: catastrophe for a nation.
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: So they got to get that fixed.
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: So I agree with that. Hey, Ronnie, one more thing.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: What is that?
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:24Speaker 27: Have a nice day.
- 1:19:27Speaker 25: That's it?
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: I don't know where to go now.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: The caller is now saying, have a nice day.
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: No, that isn't your tagline.
- 1:19:38Speaker 27: That's in honor of Dick from Dayton. He didn't call
- 1:19:41Speaker 27: in yet.
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: You've got to use your tagline. Your tagline is not
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: have a nice day. I'm not going until you say
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: the tagline.
- 1:19:47Speaker 27: All right, Ronnie.
- 1:19:50Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:19:50Speaker 8: I've got to go.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: See you on News Radio 570. WKVN, you're on the air.
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: Hello.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: Hello.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: You're on air.
- 1:20:02Speaker 25: Hey, listen, the reason there wasn't a lot of, I mean,
- 1:20:06Speaker 25: there was voids at that place was because there's no
- 1:20:09Speaker 25: parking downtown. Because they tear up everything. You got to
- 1:20:13Speaker 25: walk 15 blocks. And if you're an elderly, that's a
- 1:20:17Speaker 25: long track, you know?
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Like you, yes.
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: No, I'm just saying.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: I understand.
- 1:20:24Speaker 25: Older people, that's why there was a lot of young
- 1:20:27Speaker 25: people there.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, back in the day, you probably would have gone.
- 1:20:32Speaker 28: Well, yeah, I've been to them.
- 1:20:34Speaker 25: I've been to all these functions. I used to go
- 1:20:36Speaker 25: to the Republican dinners and all that. You never went, so.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: Well, that's right, I... I got to call him. I'm
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: not there.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: See, I can't go to these political gatherings because I'm
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: not there to make friendships. I mean, it's not what
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: I do.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: I don't go to.
- 1:20:55Speaker 25: Well, I'm here to hear the speaker.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: I call him as I see him.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: And most people have disappointed me over the years, as
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: I've said to you numerous times. I'm impressed with Dave Thomas.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: I'm a state rep, and I hope he gets reelected
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: by huge margins. I'm impressed by Ralph Meacham, probably the
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: best auditor we've ever had in Mahoning County, and would
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: like to see him get reelected. Guy does an outstanding job.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: I'm impressed by Pat Giannetti, the county engineer, does an
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: absolutely excellent job. I was appreciative of Gino, the commissioner,
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: coming on and debating Rich, the pharmacist.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: I thought that was really a good thing to do.
- 1:21:39Speaker 25: How about Michael Rooley?
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: Michael Rooley. I thought he gave an excellent speech. And
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: I thought Trump gave an excellent speech.
- 1:21:52Speaker 25: I like that guy that he bring up there. I
- 1:21:55Speaker 25: don't know, come up with his mother. Boy, he was good.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: I mean, Trump holds your interest. He's good just at
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: speaking off the cuff. I know.
- 1:22:08Speaker 25: Isn't that what we want?
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: I'm not looking for phoniness. I'm so tired of phonies.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: You know, the Bill Clinton phony.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: I feel your pain. I didn't have sex with that woman.
- 1:22:20Speaker 25: Change your accent like you're a black person.
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: Like when I went to your Mediterranean fest at your church,
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: I changed my accent so I sounded like I was
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: from Greece.
- 1:22:35Speaker 25: Yeah, no, you sounded like you were a Muslim. And
- 1:22:38Speaker 25: they were coming after you.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't want that to happen.
- 1:22:42Speaker 25: Hey, I love what he said about the gays. Gays
- 1:22:44Speaker 25: for Iran or whatever.
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: Well, it's true.
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: They throw them off buildings. It's ridiculous when you see
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: those people.
- 1:22:51Speaker 9: I know, I know.
- 1:22:52Speaker 25: What's so funny?
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: I mean, he's just saying he's bewildered by that, just
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: as I am.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: They would kill you over there, for God's sakes.
- 1:23:01Speaker 25: I know.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: I know that.
- 1:23:02Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:23:03Speaker 25: But listen.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:11Speaker 25: A lot of people couldn't come because of the tour downtown.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: I don't make excuses for it. The crowd was huge.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: I don't think there's anyone else that could have drawn
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: a crowd like that on a Monday afternoon.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: I agree.
- 1:23:25Speaker 25: What I'm saying, Drew wanted me to tell you, you know,
- 1:23:29Speaker 25: G2' s buddy, he wanted me to tell you, and I
- 1:23:33Speaker 25: agreed with him, why a lot of elderly weren't there.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: All right, well. Well, wait a minute. Hang on. You
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: are the elderly, and you weren't there.
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: No, I'm not.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: Yes, you are.
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: No, I'm not.
- 1:23:46Speaker 25: Age is a mental condition.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: I'm 30 years old.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: You are not 30 years old. You are the elderly.
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: No, I'm not. Listen.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: Yes, you are.
- 1:23:55Speaker 25: My skin isn't wrinkled up like yours. My hair isn't
- 1:23:58Speaker 25: white like yours. Hey, wait a minute.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: You know how to make a guy feel good. I mean,
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: just when I was starting to feel good about myself
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: with my white hair and wrinkly skin.
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: Hey, wait a minute. Yeah?
- 1:24:15Speaker 25: Remember I told you, okay, that they would win those
- 1:24:18Speaker 25: three games, you know, in a row, and you were like, man, that's,
- 1:24:21Speaker 25: you know, the odds are against that. Yeah, but they
- 1:24:23Speaker 25: did it. And then they won last night.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:28Speaker 25: And when you saw them down 2-0, you're wondering, really?
- 1:24:32Speaker 3: Is this it? That's what I said.
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: 2-0.
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: Is this it? Is this how it's going to end?
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: Then the bats came alive.
- 1:24:38Speaker 25: It went ballistic, Ron.
- 1:24:39Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:24:40Speaker 25: I thought Chase DeLauder, he got three hits out of four.
- 1:24:45Speaker 25: Did you know that?
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: Three?
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: He got three hits.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: Yeah, cut to the chase. Tom Hamilton as the game ends.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Bubba Ganouche doing the Tom Hamilton impression as last night's
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: game came.
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: To an end.
- 1:25:00Speaker 25: Well, it was a pop hit, and then he caught it,
- 1:25:04Speaker 25: and he goes ball game.
- 1:25:06Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:25:06Speaker 25: Remember, that was the last hit.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: No, no, no. You got to give it the oomph
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: that you normally give it, not that.
- 1:25:13Speaker 25: How did Tom Hamilton do it then?
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: I wanted you to do your Tom Hamilton impression. That
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: was awful.
- 1:25:20Speaker 13: Okay.
- 1:25:20Speaker 27: All right, hold on.
- 1:25:22Speaker 25: Two ops, Kate Smith, two strikes. Here we go.
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: What's his name?
- 1:25:32Speaker 25: What is that shortstop's name?
- 1:25:33Speaker 9: See, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:25:34Speaker 25: I'm not ready for this crap.
- 1:25:37Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: You practice, and we'll do it tomorrow, all right?
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: Hey, listen.
- 1:25:41Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:25:41Speaker 7: Listen.
- 1:25:44Speaker 25: They're going to win tonight because they've got Parker Messick pitching.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: I hope so. I mean, I would love to see
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: him pick up two games. It was exciting.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: That's why, like, at 8 o'clock, you know, other than
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: my wife, I'm in, you know, I sit there and
- 1:26:02Speaker 3: I don't want to. Do not disturb. That's what I
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: put on my door. Do not disturb. Just like at
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: the hotel. It's just me and my wife taking in
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: the ballgame, and we don't want any disturbances.
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: You hear me?
- 1:26:14Speaker 25: Yeah, but you know that picture they started? He hasn't
- 1:26:19Speaker 25: pitched in a millennia. I mean, he was a new guy.
- 1:26:23Speaker 25: And look what he did. Yeah.
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: All right. I can't take you anymore. Thank you. You're
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: on the air.
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: Hey, Ron.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: Emmanuel.
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: That is absolutely the worst. Tom Hamilton, I've never heard. Well,
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: Now, wait a minute.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: I'm not speaking to him. I'm not speaking to you
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: no more. I'm done with you, man. That was terrible.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: I know, but he does it really good.
- 1:26:49Speaker 16: He just did.
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: He lost his mojo on it. Normally, it's really, really good.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: But you're right.
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: It was so damn disappointing. You want to disown him.
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: It was horrible.
- 1:27:02Speaker 9: It was horrible, yeah.
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: Well, you know, Ron, I'm going to go off and
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: listen to your diatribe today because last time I talked
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: to you, I was upset, you know, about the pandemic, right?
- 1:27:13Speaker 6: But I'm going to say two things, and then I'm
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: going to let you say what you always say for
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: the last 20 years, right?
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: Hang on. Wait, wait, wait. Let me do my break
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: so you can come back and have more time. Let
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: me get it out of the way.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: All right, Emmanuel. What's Bubba Ghanoush to know he didn't?
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: I'll get back to Emmanuel. Bubba Ganoush, you've got to
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: work on your time, Hamilton. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: Ron Verp checking in with Bob Dieter.
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: Dieter, heating and cooling. He services all makes and all models. And,
- 1:27:39Speaker 3: of course, if you've got a boiler, he's the only
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: guy you want to call. He is just terrific when
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: it comes to dealing with those issues. He installs Rheem,
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: the new degree of comfort. Bob, what's going on?
- 1:27:49Speaker 28: Oh, we just finished another install. It was a 98%
- 1:27:53Speaker 28: furnace with a high-efficiency air conditioner. So quite an upgrade
- 1:27:56Speaker 28: for those folks. Anyways, we have efficiencies through 98% on
- 1:28:01Speaker 28: our furnaces, efficiencies through 20 SEER on our high-efficiency air
- 1:28:07Speaker 28: conditioning and heat pumps. Our mini splits go all the
- 1:28:09Speaker 28: way to 33 SEER efficiency. And so we have solutions
- 1:28:14Speaker 28: for all of your problems. And I can be found
- 1:28:17Speaker 28: in Canfield at 330 533-4363. It's 533-4363. And on the web, DieterTheHeater.com.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: He services all makes and all models. Great reputation. Bob Dieter,
- 1:28:33Speaker 2: Dieter Heating and Cooling. Mike Rowe here.
- 1:28:35Speaker 16: 70 WKBN. All right.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: With an excellent reputation. of the Bubba Ganoush call with Emmanuel.
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: Now with his thoughts of the day.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: Well, once again, that was the worst Tom Hamilton I've
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: ever heard. You know what? I'm not a Guardians fan,
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: but I've got to defend Tom Hamilton. Don't do that again.
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: Don't do that again. And, Ron, you teased it up
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: for him, and he swung, and he missed. You remind
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: me of the mighty Casey. He struck out. What I'm
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: saying is this. Now, I watched the whole thing on
- 1:29:16Speaker 6: YouTube yesterday.
- 1:29:17Speaker 7: Uh-huh.
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: Some of the things, you know, when I'm done, I'm
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: going to listen to you. No hanging up. I'm going
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: to let you go and give it your, what you
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: always say for the last 20 years. But, first of all,
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: the playlist, before it came out, it was unbelievable. I
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: couldn't believe it. It was like we were back in
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: 1960 and 1970. And everybody was like swaying back and forth.
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: It reminded me of the Titanic, you know, when it
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: was sinking, people dancing on top of the boat.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: So wait a minute. So you're complaining about the choice
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: of music. It was the oldies to you.
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, it's a man's world. And then I
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: don't know, at the first presidential, I guess, talk I've
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: ever seen, Well, they didn't speak English. On the man's world,
- 1:30:10Speaker 6: was that Italian they were singing, or was that Polish,
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: or what?
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: I thought you were going to say, as a first
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: presidential speech, you heard him talking about Houston's arse in
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: his manly hands.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: Oh, he does that all the time. He said the
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: same thing about J.D. Vance, right? But getting back to
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: what he said, he said something that proved it. He
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: said two things that proved to me. Then it's a cult, right?
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: They're playing it back and forth, right, with that sway
- 1:30:37Speaker 6: of music, right, before he came out there. Then he says,
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: I can stand in front of you guys and say
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: the stupidest thing in the world, and you guys are
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: going to clap because you guys love me. And you
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: guys clapped. I'm like, wait a minute. He can say
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: the stupidest thing he's telling you. He's going to tell
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: you something real stupid, and you guys are going to
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: like it. I'm like, sit around. Then he says, And
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: I'm saying, well, wait a minute, these guys, and I
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: want you to comment on this, right, because I got
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: some stuff for you today. Now, he said, now he's
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: talking about Sherrod Brown, right?
- 1:31:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: He talked about how bad things was when Sherrod Brown.
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: Was a senator, right?
- 1:31:19Speaker 6: And I'm sitting there thinking, hmm. I will not check.
- 1:31:23Speaker 6: I checked the gas prices. I checked the diesel prices.
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: I checked the groceries, the beef. I checked the deficit.
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: I checked our GDP. Wait a minute.
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: Okay. Stand by. Stand by.
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: Emmanuel continues his thoughts about his fact-checking when we come
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: back after this.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: 100 years as the Valley's trusted news, weather, and talk station.

- 1:32:51Speaker 18: report Chinese money laundering operations and illicit financing along the

- 1:33:23Speaker 7: Senate.
- 1:33:24Speaker 18: Fox's Matt Finn, Vice President Vance visiting Texas, home of
- 1:33:27Speaker 18: another tight Senate race. New Fox News power rankings consider

- 1:35:15Speaker 3: Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoning. And Emanuel was
- 1:35:19Speaker 3: giving his thoughts about the Trump speech.
- 1:35:23Speaker 6: And also, too, right? I just listened to that commercial
- 1:35:29Speaker 6: about Sharon Brown. Yes. And I hear you and you
- 1:35:34Speaker 6: guys talking about, I will never support anybody that doesn't
- 1:35:37Speaker 6: know the difference between a man and a woman. And
- 1:35:40Speaker 6: I'm not going to support anybody that does all that
- 1:35:42Speaker 6: crazy stuff.
- 1:35:43Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:35:43Speaker 6: You know, like dressing and stuff.
- 1:35:46Speaker 8: What?
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: It's not too hard to Google J.D. Vance, and J.D.
- 1:35:50Speaker 6: Vance will tell you. He didn't know if he was
- 1:35:52Speaker 6: a woman or a man. He'll tell you. He loved cross-dressing.
- 1:35:56Speaker 6: And that's not to mention.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: I never heard him say that.
- 1:36:00Speaker 6: Wait a minute. You've never seen him cross-dressing?
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: No, I've never seen J.D. Vance cross-dress. Have you cross-dressed?
- 1:36:06Speaker 3: I could see you.
- 1:36:07Speaker 9: I mean.
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: No, listen, I don't go to Middle Ridge. I'm not
- 1:36:12Speaker 6: a senior. The boys out there get put on dresses.
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: Did you once dress up as Esther from Sanford and Son?
- 1:36:20Speaker 7: Why? Why?
- 1:36:20Speaker 9: Why?
- 1:36:21Speaker 6: I got to be a black woman. It was one
- 1:36:26Speaker 6: black woman. It was one black woman sitting behind Trump.
- 1:36:29Speaker 6: And she was right behind him. The only black person there.
- 1:36:32Speaker 6: I think I know her. I think me and Jeff
- 1:36:34Speaker 6: know her.
- 1:36:35Speaker 13: Right?
- 1:36:35Speaker 6: You know, I used to have.
- 1:36:37Speaker 22: A crush on that girl.
- 1:36:38Speaker 6: But what I'm saying is this. You know, Lindsay Graham.
- 1:36:43Speaker 6: We all know about Lindsay Graham and Linda Graham. We
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: all know about Tim Scott. We all know about the
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: House of Representatives guy down there in Florida messing with
- 1:36:54Speaker 6: them little girls.
- 1:36:56Speaker 7: And.
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: Trump sent the DOJ, right, Department of Justice, to Omar's house, right?
- 1:37:02Speaker 6: But those two guys from England, they got on film
- 1:37:06Speaker 6: with animals, and they're getting ready to get expedited back
- 1:37:10Speaker 6: to England. And they're saying, Trump, if you let us
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: go back to England, we're going to tell everything.
- 1:37:18Speaker 8: You heard it here.
- 1:37:19Speaker 6: The Epstein files are going to be out within a
- 1:37:22Speaker 6: year from now. I'm trying to tell you because somebody's
- 1:37:25Speaker 6: going to roll and they're going to turn. They're good
- 1:37:27Speaker 6: friends with Barron. But getting back to what I'm saying,
- 1:37:30Speaker 6: you guys, you know, you got Carl Fong. Remember him,
- 1:37:33Speaker 6: the guy in the wheelchair that dressed up, cross-dressed? And
- 1:37:36Speaker 6: not to mention one of the cabinet members' husbands. wearing
- 1:37:40Speaker 6: bras and stuff. So I don't understand why it's okay
- 1:37:44Speaker 6: for you guys to do stuff like that. But you
- 1:37:47Speaker 6: put it on the dog of Democrats who's the only
- 1:37:49Speaker 6: one doing it. Now it's your turn.
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: I don't support any man dressing up as a woman.
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: Although I saw a guy in all reality in the
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: airport that was in MCO down in Florida walking through
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: the airport wearing And he was honest to God. He
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: was a man. Like, picture how a man walks. And
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: he had on women's shoes and a dress. I mean,
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: he was really an ugly woman. But he was a man.
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: You follow what I'm saying? And he walked like a man.
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: And when he sat down, he crossed his legs like
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: a man. And I'm just looking like, what are you thinking?
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: I mean, he wasn't– you would have to see it
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: to appreciate it.
- 1:38:36Speaker 6: I've seen it before because I was coming back from
- 1:38:38Speaker 6: South Carolina one time, and I got lost in Memphis, right? Memphis,
- 1:38:44Speaker 6: Tennessee is worse than Pittsburgh driving through it. And I
- 1:38:46Speaker 6: kind of got lost, and I seen him. Well, I
- 1:38:49Speaker 6: thought it was. I thought it was a streetwalker, right?
- 1:38:54Speaker 6: I figured, what the heck, they know how to get
- 1:38:56Speaker 6: me out of here because I'm tired of going across
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: this doggone river. And I seen it from the back.
- 1:39:01Speaker 6: When that person turned around, they had a beard. It
- 1:39:06Speaker 6: was a guy dressed as a girl. You couldn't tell
- 1:39:10Speaker 6: from the back. So I understand he was the ugliest
- 1:39:13Speaker 6: person I've ever seen. I don't care if he was
- 1:39:15Speaker 6: a woman or ugly. I ain't been back to Memphis
- 1:39:20Speaker 6: since then. See you later.
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: I heard what you're saying. What else is there that you.
- 1:39:27Speaker 7: Have to add?
- 1:39:28Speaker 6: So how do you feel about, you know, somebody saying
- 1:39:31Speaker 6: anything stupid that they want to and you guys will
- 1:39:34Speaker 6: support them? How do you feel about that? Is that
- 1:39:35Speaker 6: a code or what?
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: I think that would be a joke. You can't say
- 1:39:41Speaker 3: anything stupid and I'd support you.
- 1:39:44Speaker 6: Okay, let me tell you something. Words have consequences. That's
- 1:39:49Speaker 6: Donald Trump's. Worst problem, because words have consequences. If you
- 1:39:54Speaker 6: can't be a man or a woman of your words,
- 1:39:56Speaker 6: then what do you have, Ron? You told me that.
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: Well, there you have it. All right, Emmanuel, thank you.
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: Saw a guy ask a cross-dressed guy for directions.
- 1:40:06Speaker 2: You're on the air. I'm looking for the boss lady.
- 1:40:09Speaker 9: Why did he bring me in and quit thinking I
- 1:40:11Speaker 9: know that girl?
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: Because he said there was a black lady.
- 1:40:15Speaker 3: Yes, because Emanuel said there was a black lady standing
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: behind Trump, and he figured either you or him knew her.
- 1:40:22Speaker 32: Yeah.
- 1:40:25Speaker 9: Well, I don't know who it was because I wasn't
- 1:40:28Speaker 9: even there. So there we go.
- 1:40:30Speaker 28: Thank you, Emanuel.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: I think Emanuel said he thought it was the only
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: black person there at the rally.
- 1:40:36Speaker 9: No, there was a couple. There was a couple there
- 1:40:39Speaker 9: I saw as I watched a couple videos. you know,
- 1:40:43Speaker 9: pans from the YouTube feed.
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:40:47Speaker 9: But that's neither there. This is this time of year.
- 1:40:51Speaker 9: This has a lot. There's a lot going on for people.
- 1:40:55Speaker 9: They don't have time to really go to something like that.
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:40:59Speaker 9: Me, I've been out. I've been out of my house
- 1:41:01Speaker 9: since July 5th. I got a lightning strike to my
- 1:41:05Speaker 9: electrical box, and they haven't been able to get everything
- 1:41:08Speaker 9: fixed yet.
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: Are you serious? A lightning strike to your own? Oh, absolutely.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Are you talking to the big green box out by
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: the curb?
- 1:41:19Speaker 9: No, no, on my house.
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: You mean your electric meter?
- 1:41:25Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:41:26Speaker 9: Go ahead.
- 1:41:29Speaker 3: No, it melted what?
- 1:41:30Speaker 9: Melted the fuse box, the breaker box.
- 1:41:36Speaker 6: All the way down.
- 1:41:37Speaker 4: Nothing.
- 1:41:37Speaker 9: Nothing was salvageable. Can't have a new box.
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: Where'd the lightning hit? I mean, do they know?
- 1:41:46Speaker 9: I don't know. No, they don't know either. And it
- 1:41:50Speaker 9: caused a surge. It wiped out some of my appliances
- 1:41:53Speaker 9: and a TV or two and some of my studio equipment.
- 1:41:59Speaker 9: And so, yeah, not really.
- 1:42:03Speaker 7: Now, how do you.
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: How do you fix that?
- 1:42:06Speaker 3: So you need an all-new breaker box, but what about
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: the wiring within the walls?
- 1:42:11Speaker 9: We're fighting with the insurance company now. They said it's
- 1:42:15Speaker 9: all good because everything was working. But that's not what
- 1:42:20Speaker 9: makes things all good. It's just a fight. They have
- 1:42:26Speaker 9: to replace everything else.
- 1:42:29Speaker 3: This is the thing about insurance, and I go back
- 1:42:32Speaker 3: to say this. Insurance wants you to pay everything all
- 1:42:35Speaker 3: the damn time, but whenever you have a claim, they
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: just jerk you around.
- 1:42:39Speaker 2: I mean, it is ridiculous.
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: I mean, they basically pay us, and when it's time
- 1:42:45Speaker 3: to make a claim, insurance always, always, always just jacks
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: you around and screws you.
- 1:42:52Speaker 9: Yeah, well, I don't know who's screwing who on this one.
- 1:42:56Speaker 9: Because I've been in a hotel since July 5th.
- 1:43:00Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:43:01Speaker 9: And that goes all down, man. I had to pay
- 1:43:04Speaker 9: for it myself the first month before they kicked in
- 1:43:07Speaker 9: and started.
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: So you can't stay at your house? You can't stay
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: at your house?
- 1:43:14Speaker 9: No, I can't stay in that house because all of
- 1:43:18Speaker 9: the toxins from that smoke. You know, we can't have any,
- 1:43:24Speaker 9: you know, like the bedding. It's gone. It has to go.
- 1:43:30Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:43:30Speaker 9: Yeah, some of the furniture is going to have to go.
- 1:43:35Speaker 9: You know, and so it's been a rough ride because
- 1:43:39Speaker 9: they didn't want to believe that what happened until they
- 1:43:45Speaker 9: sent their old guys out because this insurance company doesn't
- 1:43:52Speaker 9: have local offices. You know, so they had to send
- 1:43:56Speaker 9: some guys out, one from Pittsburgh and one from Florida,
- 1:44:01Speaker 9: not Florida, from Akron. And guess what? The guy had
- 1:44:05Speaker 9: to look at everything that was going on and say,
- 1:44:08Speaker 9: don't worry about it, Mr. Green, we got you. It
- 1:44:12Speaker 9: was crazy, man, crazy.
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: Were you home when it happened?
- 1:44:17Speaker 6: Yes, I was.
- 1:44:18Speaker 2: You're lucky it didn't cause a fire.
- 1:44:22Speaker 9: Well, that's the whole thing. The fire department said, you're
- 1:44:27Speaker 9: lucky you weren't here and could call them right away
- 1:44:32Speaker 9: because we could have had a fire.
- 1:44:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:44:36Speaker 9: It was wild, man. You know, I can't be around
- 1:44:41Speaker 9: toxins or anything like that because that's how I lost 50%
- 1:44:46Speaker 9: of my lungs right now.
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: So basically you're saying you could never ride in a
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: car with me after I had Chipotle for lunch.
- 1:44:54Speaker 6: Oh, no, no, no.
- 1:44:56Speaker 9: If you go to Chipotle, no, not at all.
- 1:45:02Speaker 2: All right, I'm just checking.
- 1:45:07Speaker 9: But, yeah, so I didn't have the hooks, brother, get
- 1:45:11Speaker 9: up and push my way into this thing. You know,
- 1:45:16Speaker 9: the last time he was there, I actually was the
- 1:45:19Speaker 9: pastor that started a prayer for the rally. So, it's okay.
- 1:45:27Speaker 9: I sang the Star Spangled Banner or Bethel Anthem once.
- 1:45:35Speaker 9: I sang, I mean, I was a pastor. I was
- 1:45:39Speaker 9: playing on the floor of a convention in 16th with G.E.
- 1:45:44Speaker 9: Smith and my group of sensations the night that he
- 1:45:49Speaker 9: was nominated. So I've been in some very meaningful Trump
- 1:45:55Speaker 9: meetings over the time. So I was okay, but I
- 1:46:02Speaker 9: was glad that they had that. Who wasn't fool enough
- 1:46:06Speaker 9: to go down there and start a fight in a
- 1:46:09Speaker 9: Trump rally? That's what I'd like to know. Who was
- 1:46:13Speaker 9: that fool? Because that didn't make any sense whatsoever.
- 1:46:19Speaker 13: Right.
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: Well, it's just people don't want to disturb the presentation
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: that he's making.
- 1:46:24Speaker 9: Well, they disturbed it all right.
- 1:46:27Speaker 2: You mean when he said, boy, that person's kind of
- 1:46:30Speaker 2: fat too, yeah?
- 1:46:32Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what he said.
- 1:46:35Speaker 9: Oh, he said, that's a big one there.
- 1:46:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:46:38Speaker 9: Oh, my.
- 1:46:39Speaker 24: Oh, man, take him home to mommy.
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: There you go.
- 1:46:46Speaker 9: There you go.
- 1:46:47Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:46:48Speaker 2: I would agree with that.
- 1:46:50Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:47:07Speaker 9: You know, that we didn't have any problems, you know,
- 1:47:09Speaker 9: which we didn't.
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: Hey, no one's perfect.
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: No one's perfect.
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: You don't agree with everyone 100% time, but in the
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: whole scope of things, he's doing a much better job.
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: And good God, who could vote for Sherrod Brown or
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: Amy Acton, for the love of God?
- 1:47:25Speaker 9: I hope that people listen, remember that Acton broke down
- 1:47:33Speaker 9: and could not finish her term because there was too much.
- 1:47:38Speaker 2: And she won't even debate Ramaswamy. I mean, what's that
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: tell you?
- 1:47:43Speaker 9: No, it has to tell everybody, don't vote for somebody
- 1:47:47Speaker 9: that won't do that.
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:47:49Speaker 9: The name he acted is acting right now.
- 1:47:52Speaker 3: Right, right. Did you happen to, when I passed you
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: on the highway, did you happen to see when I
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: mooned you?
- 1:48:02Speaker 9: No, thank God I didn't see that. I had just eaten,
- 1:48:07Speaker 9: and I would have thrown up all.
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: Over the place. All right. See you later. All right.
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: You're out of here.
- 1:48:14Speaker 33: I didn't go to the rally, but I did go
- 1:48:16Speaker 33: and watch Air Force One land.
- 1:48:18Speaker 7: That was neat.
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:48:19Speaker 19: Really?
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: I bet that would have been cool.
- 1:48:21Speaker 33: Yeah, so I went up to the airport. I was
- 1:48:23Speaker 33: a little surprised at the security. I thought there would
- 1:48:27Speaker 33: have been a lot more. The motorcade, I thought, was
- 1:48:30Speaker 33: rather small for the President of the United States at
- 1:48:33Speaker 33: war with another country. I thought it was lacking, actually.
- 1:48:37Speaker 2: So you watch the plane land and the motorcade leave
- 1:48:40Speaker 2: the airport?
- 1:48:41Speaker 33: Yeah, I went up there. Just, you know, I've seen
- 1:48:44Speaker 33: Trump before. I don't know what he's going to say.
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: It's kind of cool to see that, though, wasn't it?
- 1:48:50Speaker 33: Yeah, I'd never seen a land before. And, you know,
- 1:48:52Speaker 33: I like seeing the motorcade.
- 1:48:53Speaker 7: I like seeing all the.
- 1:48:53Speaker 33: Security and everything there, too. But there were two beasts.
- 1:48:58Speaker 33: Usually I thought there were three. And, I mean, you
- 1:49:00Speaker 33: could see them go right down the road in the
- 1:49:02Speaker 33: back seat.
- 1:49:02Speaker 32: It was interesting.
- 1:49:04Speaker 33: I just thought that the roads, they didn't have... cars
- 1:49:08Speaker 33: you know as far back as i thought i mean
- 1:49:11Speaker 33: the whole time i'm thinking like this is one of
- 1:49:13Speaker 33: those things you see later on in the news and
- 1:49:15Speaker 33: then they they figure out the story and then you
- 1:49:16Speaker 33: say to yourself like well why did they let those
- 1:49:18Speaker 33: vehicles get so close to the motorcade it was it
- 1:49:21Speaker 33: was interesting.
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: That would have been interesting to see you should have
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: recorded stuff with your phone and sent it to.
- 1:49:26Speaker 33: Me well i could still do that but um yeah
- 1:49:30Speaker 33: it was um I thought it was a lack of security,
- 1:49:33Speaker 33: to be frank with you. Now, coming back around, once
- 1:49:38Speaker 33: it was already dark over the Covelli Center, you could
- 1:49:40Speaker 33: see all the drones in the air over the Covelli Center,
- 1:49:43Speaker 33: which I would expect. But we left the airport, you know,
- 1:49:46Speaker 33: no drones or anything like that up in.
- 1:49:48Speaker 25: The air, which.
- 1:49:50Speaker 33: I thought was kind of, again, lacking for all of
- 1:49:53Speaker 33: the attempts on his life already. And then again, being
- 1:49:56Speaker 33: at war with another nation who's already tried to, you know,
- 1:49:59Speaker 33: kill him.
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: So you drove the Covelli Center and you could see drones?
- 1:50:04Speaker 6: Well, I drove to the airport.
- 1:50:06Speaker 33: On the way back, you know, you go around to
- 1:50:07Speaker 33: see the Covelli Center. You could just see him flashing
- 1:50:10Speaker 33: above the Covelli Center sitting there.
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: Isn't that interesting? Okay.
- 1:50:15Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:50:16Speaker 33: Yeah, because usually I think this protocol to have three
- 1:50:20Speaker 33: of the beast limousines, but there were two. So, again, regardless,
- 1:50:25Speaker 33: I watched some of the speech because, you know, I've
- 1:50:27Speaker 33: heard a lot of it already. You know, it's a
- 1:50:29Speaker 33: campaign speech. They're stumping for things. But, you know, it
- 1:50:33Speaker 33: says what Cleveland's getting, what this place is getting. I
- 1:50:36Speaker 33: would have liked to have seen a little bit more of,
- 1:50:39Speaker 33: you know, if you're coming to Youngstown, say, hey, this
- 1:50:41Speaker 33: is what I'm bringing to Youngstown. Now, what he said
- 1:50:43Speaker 33: about the power plants staying open are trying to work
- 1:50:45Speaker 33: on that. That would have been good. Clearly, Gino didn't
- 1:50:48Speaker 33: have that AI rendering of the county government building downtown.
- 1:50:53Speaker 33: He didn't say he was footing the bill for that.
- 1:50:55Speaker 3: Yeah, we wanted the Trump County, Trump government complex, and
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: then sell them the naming rights. Yeah, get some federal money.
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: A good idea.
- 1:51:05Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:51:06Speaker 33: Yeah, but that was just my two cents from yesterday.
- 1:51:09Speaker 33: I think he's going to Alaska or something today. You
- 1:51:12Speaker 33: can't help a guy who's 80 years old doing all this.
- 1:51:14Speaker 33: I don't care if he walks out of the house,
- 1:51:17Speaker 33: gets on a helicopter, goes on another airplane, just moving
- 1:51:19Speaker 33: around everywhere. At 80 years old, most people don't want
- 1:51:22Speaker 33: to do that.
- 1:51:22Speaker 7: Don't forget, everybody.
- 1:51:24Speaker 33: Like that one caller, every time he calls him, he's
- 1:51:26Speaker 33: always complaining about how Trump's dad gave him something. He
- 1:51:29Speaker 33: gave him a million dollars. Well, he turned it into
- 1:51:31Speaker 33: a billion. That's like your dad giving you $ 1, 000 and
- 1:51:34Speaker 33: you turn it into a million. That's pretty unbelievable, and
- 1:51:37Speaker 33: he turned it into billions on.
- 1:51:39Speaker 25: Top of that.
- 1:51:39Speaker 33: So he's just– he's like– I hate to use the example,
- 1:51:42Speaker 33: but like a 16-year-old girl who Trump broke up with
- 1:51:46Speaker 33: when he was 16, like there's nothing that he can say.
- 1:51:49Speaker 33: He just hates the guy so much that there's nothing
- 1:51:52Speaker 33: he can do. But for all Trump's faults and everything
- 1:51:55Speaker 33: that we might not be as happy with, it sure
- 1:51:57Speaker 33: does beat the alternative. Because not only was Kamala Harris worse,
- 1:52:01Speaker 33: her cabinet was 50 times worse.
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: Amen. Thank you, Alec. Appreciate it.
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: G2 is going to be coming up momentarily. Well, by
- 1:52:12Speaker 3: now you should know not all CBD oil is Youngstown's news, weather,
- 1:52:16Speaker 3: and talk station. 570 WKBN.
- 1:52:20Speaker 2: I just got to check real quick. Hello, you're on here.
- 1:52:24Speaker 6: Ron.
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: Okay. I knew it was the boss lady. I had
- 1:52:26Speaker 2: to get to her. Then I got G2. Go ahead,
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: boss lady.
- 1:52:29Speaker 32: First of all, I enjoy Emanuel very much, but there
- 1:52:32Speaker 32: is zero chance in all of hell that J.D.
- 1:52:35Speaker 7: Vance was in a dress.
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:52:38Speaker 32: That was his Halloween costume, Emanuel. Don't believe everything you read.
- 1:52:42Speaker 32: He was dressed up as Halloween.
- 1:52:44Speaker 2: I'll tell you what.
- 1:52:46Speaker 32: And it got circulated.
- 1:52:48Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:52:49Speaker 32: But I was listening to Alec. And he's right. The
- 1:52:54Speaker 32: other side makes this all worse. And I've been super
- 1:52:59Speaker 32: critical of even our own party. And we need to
- 1:53:04Speaker 32: honestly think bigger because we're three weeks away from the election.
- 1:53:07Speaker 32: And we can't end up here with losing seats in
- 1:53:11Speaker 32: the House, the Senate, even Ohio, which would be hard
- 1:53:16Speaker 32: to lose. But everybody's got it. We're all disappointed a
- 1:53:21Speaker 32: little bit in some people and some issues, but the
- 1:53:24Speaker 32: other side is just crazy.
- 1:53:25Speaker 2: Amen.
- 1:53:27Speaker 32: And we just, we can't afford it. My good friend,
- 1:53:30Speaker 32: I had a conversation this week for about an hour.
- 1:53:32Speaker 32: He was yelling at me, telling me to hold off
- 1:53:35Speaker 32: until after the election, which is true because, you know,
- 1:53:40Speaker 32: you can hold him to task later. We got to
- 1:53:43Speaker 32: get them in the office because the other side's crazy.
- 1:53:46Speaker 32: We're better off and you got to pinch your nose
- 1:53:47Speaker 32: and regardless who you like and don't like. But at
- 1:53:50Speaker 32: the end of the day, all of these issues that
- 1:53:54Speaker 32: we're dealing with become tenfold worse. And so we definitely
- 1:54:01Speaker 32: have got to, and I know it's hard because we're
- 1:54:04Speaker 32: all frustrated. I mean, there's a lot of things that
- 1:54:05Speaker 32: are frustrating. Monday, I could be frustrated about something. Wednesday,
- 1:54:08Speaker 32: it's something else because we're looking at, you know, All
- 1:54:12Speaker 32: the things that are happening every day.
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you're saying he's still done all... It's
- 1:54:18Speaker 3: the good far outweighs the bad. You don't agree with
- 1:54:20Speaker 3: him on everything, but needless to say, he's done a
- 1:54:22Speaker 3: lot for the country, and he's been a pretty damn
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: good president.
- 1:54:25Speaker 2: I would agree with that.
- 1:54:26Speaker 32: Oh, gosh, not just him.
- 1:54:28Speaker 13: I mean, yeah, Trump.
- 1:54:29Speaker 32: I mean, the Iran thing is my only kind of.
- 1:54:31Speaker 6: Right, but I mean.
- 1:54:33Speaker 32: But, like, I'm talking everybody.
- 1:54:34Speaker 7: Like, right?
- 1:54:35Speaker 32: Like, there's concerns and issues with everybody, and, you know, I...
- 1:54:39Speaker 32: You know, I say to everybody, I can't stand Houston.
- 1:54:42Speaker 32: For a minute last week, I had a brief lapse
- 1:54:45Speaker 32: of sanity, and I said, I'm going.
- 1:54:46Speaker 24: To vote for Scooby-Doo.
- 1:54:47Speaker 32: I swear to God, I'm rating Scooby-Doo.
- 1:54:49Speaker 22: On the ballot.
- 1:54:50Speaker 2: Oh, no, don't do that.
- 1:54:52Speaker 32: I know, and that's why my friend, he called me up,
- 1:54:54Speaker 32: and he ripped me a new you-know-what.
- 1:54:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:54:57Speaker 32: And he said, what the hell's the matter with you?
- 1:54:58Speaker 32: And the more I thought about it, he's right. I mean,
- 1:55:01Speaker 32: at the end of the day, Sherrod Brown is an
- 1:55:04Speaker 32: absolute lunatic. I mean, we have to pinch our noses,
- 1:55:07Speaker 32: and I hate to say that. And I think holding
- 1:55:10Speaker 32: political candidates to task or, you know, these people that
- 1:55:13Speaker 32: are in office, we do have to hold them responsible.
- 1:55:16Speaker 32: Now is not the time, not three weeks before the election.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: Oh, there's no way I could ever vote for Sherrod
- 1:55:21Speaker 3: Brown or Amy Acton.
- 1:55:23Speaker 2: Or, frankly, any Democrat.
- 1:55:25Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:55:26Speaker 3: Because they believe in that. If you're a Democrat, you
- 1:55:28Speaker 3: believe in that lunatic stuff. I mean, you're associating with
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: that party that can't define what a woman is and
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: think men can have babies and don't think you should
- 1:55:36Speaker 3: say mother or father or any of the other stuff.
- 1:55:39Speaker 3: Rip down statues and stuff.
- 1:55:41Speaker 32: We got to hold the line. Keep the party intact.
- 1:55:43Speaker 32: We're going to face nothing. We're going to face a
- 1:55:46Speaker 32: lame duck presidency. We're going to get absolutely nothing done.
- 1:55:49Speaker 32: They're going to try to impeach him every other day.
- 1:55:51Speaker 32: If these lunatics get in there and it's literally going
- 1:55:53Speaker 32: to bring the country to a halt.
- 1:55:56Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:55:56Speaker 32: And so we've got to and we'll primary the people
- 1:55:59Speaker 32: we want out later. Worry about that. We got to
- 1:56:01Speaker 32: worry about that later. But first things first. I mean,
- 1:56:03Speaker 32: literally everything will stop.
- 1:56:05Speaker 2: And I don't know that I believe any of the polls.
- 1:56:07Speaker 2: I mean, the polls have been so wrong so often.
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:56:10Speaker 32: I'm a little nervous. I'm a little bit more nervous.
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: Well, I'd tell you this much.
- 1:56:15Speaker 32: Now I'm a little nervous again.
- 1:56:16Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 1:56:17Speaker 3: I do see signs don't vote, but I do see
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: a lot of Sherrod Brown, Amy Acton signs. And whenever
- 1:56:23Speaker 3: I see them, I think, oh, boy, what's this about
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: Amy Acton that you could even remotely like? She quit
- 1:56:29Speaker 3: as the doctor. She won't debate the guy.
- 1:56:31Speaker 7: You know what's weird?
- 1:56:32Speaker 4: What?
- 1:56:32Speaker 32: The first time in history. I have not seen any
- 1:56:36Speaker 32: Vivek or Acton signs in Poland. Now, maybe I'm just not.
- 1:56:41Speaker 32: I'm not seeing any signs. Well, that's not really many
- 1:56:46Speaker 32: candidates at all.
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: That's not a bad thing. I hate political signs.
- 1:56:51Speaker 32: Yeah, I think they're kind of, you know, necessary evil.
- 1:56:55Speaker 32: But usually you see neighborhoods like riddled with them. I'm
- 1:56:58Speaker 32: not seeing many. I just said that to my husband
- 1:57:00Speaker 32: the other day. I said, I don't see anybody.
- 1:57:03Speaker 6: So, I don't know.
- 1:57:04Speaker 32: Does that make me more nervous? Because I really don't know.
- 1:57:07Speaker 32: Because usually you could kind of tell, looking at all
- 1:57:09Speaker 32: the signs, like who stands where.
- 1:57:11Speaker 2: I don't really know. Maybe you've got to drive around
- 1:57:13Speaker 2: more on your bowling night.
- 1:57:15Speaker 6: Hey, Ron.
- 1:57:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:57:16Speaker 32: I've got to go.
- 1:57:17Speaker 31: G2, with this report, he was there.
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: Next.
- 1:57:19Speaker 6: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 1:57:29Speaker 16: A heads up for Toledo.
- 1:57:31Speaker 5: The Ohio Air National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing will conduct
- 1:57:36Speaker 5: nighttime training with F-16 fighter jets for the next three nights.
- 1:57:41Speaker 5: The training should wrap up by 10 p.m.
- 1:57:43Speaker 9: Each night.
- 1:57:44Speaker 5: In other news, Cleveland is recognizing today's date, October 13th,
- 1:57:49Speaker 5: as Bernie Kosar Day. Kosar made his first NFL regular
- 1:57:53Speaker 5: season start on this day in 1985. and led the
- 1:57:57Speaker 5: Browns to a 21-6 win over the Houston Oilers. He
- 1:58:01Speaker 5: ended up starting over 100 career games and throwing for
- 1:58:04Speaker 5: over 23,000.
- 1:58:06Speaker 2: Yards in 12 seasons.
- 1:58:08Speaker 5: The Cleveland City Council presented him with a plaque last
- 1:58:11Speaker 5: night to show their appreciation for his dedication, commitment, and
- 1:58:15Speaker 5: contributions to the city and the team.
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: I'm Daniel Barnard.

- 1:58:39Speaker 34: Sweat gets a two-game suspension. The Atlanta Dream will have
- 1:58:42Speaker 34: games three and four of the WNBA Finals in State
- 1:58:45Speaker 34: Farm Arena. Game three will now be on the 21st,
- 1:58:47Speaker 34: game four on the 24th, with the Hawks changing their
- 1:58:51Speaker 34: game time that night. Game two of the ALCS at
- 1:58:53Speaker 34: the Trot tonight, the Rays down one game to none,
- 1:58:56Speaker 34: entertain the Guardians.
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: I'm Frank Aaron.
- 1:58:58Speaker 2: Run a business and not thinking about radio? Think again,
- 1:59:01Speaker 2: because people... Now, Ron Verb.
- 1:59:04Speaker 16: On NewsRadio 570, WKBN.
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: That boss lady got the best of me. She absolutely
- 1:59:11Speaker 3: got the best of me. That was a classic. Oh,
- 1:59:15Speaker 3: the boss lady with the, hey, I got to go.
- 1:59:18Speaker 3: All right. G2 was at the full report. Ron, a
- 1:59:22Speaker 3: sit back. G2 was on location.
- 1:59:26Speaker 8: Yeah, it was, as I said last night, it was exciting.
- 1:59:29Speaker 8: It was really energizing to see that many people together again.
- 1:59:34Speaker 8: And this is the only time political force that has
- 1:59:38Speaker 8: ever brought crowds like this, at least in modern times.
- 1:59:41Speaker 8: I suppose if JFK came back to life, he would
- 1:59:44Speaker 8: get bigger crowds. But outside of that, this is the
- 1:59:47Speaker 8: most exciting and energized crowd, the biggest crowd you could
- 1:59:52Speaker 8: see in politics. And so that's great news, because these policies,
- 1:59:57Speaker 8: as we've talked about, are either existential opportunities or threats
- 2:00:02Speaker 8: for this country. And one of the things that was
- 2:00:05Speaker 8: interesting was watching sort of the Democrats outside. They, you know,
- 2:00:10Speaker 8: they were protesting, carrying around signs and whatnot. One of
- 2:00:12Speaker 8: them had a big American flag on a pole with
- 2:00:14Speaker 8: a big trans flag, because for some reason, and it's
- 2:00:17Speaker 8: really hard to understand, these people are obsessed with sexuality.
- 2:00:21Speaker 8: They want it to permeate our schools, our government. They
- 2:00:24Speaker 8: want trans and gay flags everywhere. I don't really, like,
- 2:00:27Speaker 8: why not the Polish Association? What is the.
- 2:00:33Speaker 8: Well there's a great club in downtown youngstown you know
- 2:00:36Speaker 8: why not uh... the ethnic irish flag why why why
- 2:00:40Speaker 8: do you gotta be gay and trans and you gotta
- 2:00:42Speaker 8: be laser focused and obsessed on that there's something really
- 2:00:46Speaker 8: strange going on in that community what it's not enough
- 2:00:48Speaker 8: that you just accept these people but you have to
- 2:00:50Speaker 8: upset about it talk about it constantly and and put
- 2:00:55Speaker 8: society on its head to accommodate including altering our language
- 2:00:59Speaker 8: so you're looking at these democrats you know, at the
- 2:01:02Speaker 8: corner of Market and the cross street and outside the facility,
- 2:01:06Speaker 8: they just look like sad sack. If you remember the
- 2:01:09Speaker 8: old cartoon, you know, just like a droopy, tired, sad
- 2:01:15Speaker 8: bunch of people who are just filled with hatred and
- 2:01:18Speaker 8: obsessed with Donald Trump. And you hear this in some
- 2:01:21Speaker 8: of the callers. I caught the one caller earlier tonight
- 2:01:24Speaker 8: who is this Trump-obsessed guy. All he can think about,
- 2:01:28Speaker 8: no matter what the issue, it all comes back to
- 2:01:30Speaker 8: Donald Trump. He wants to pretend that that thing with
- 2:01:33Speaker 8: that E. Jean Carroll case had some legitimacy.
- 2:01:37Speaker 9: Ridiculous.
- 2:01:38Speaker 8: He won't address the fact that the Russia collusion hoax
- 2:01:41Speaker 8: wasn't a conspiracy theory. It was an actual conspiracy between
- 2:01:46Speaker 8: the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, John McCain,
- 2:01:51Speaker 8: the Democrats, the Clintons. You know, a massive conspiracy theory.
- 2:01:56Speaker 8: that was executed against us for three to five years,
- 2:01:59Speaker 8: depending on how long you paid attention to it. And
- 2:02:02Speaker 8: they want to pretend that never happened. But they're obsessed
- 2:02:05Speaker 8: with something like this crazy Gene Carroll story. You notice
- 2:02:09Speaker 8: how those people only talk about Trump, Trump's personality, how
- 2:02:12Speaker 8: they view it as flawed. They can't quite get around
- 2:02:15Speaker 8: to talking about the important issues in any kind of
- 2:02:17Speaker 8: intelligent way. This Trump obsession is really a weird thing.
- 2:02:21Speaker 8: So the same people... that seem to be obsessed with
- 2:02:24Speaker 8: sexuality and want desperately to have kids obsessed with sexuality,
- 2:02:29Speaker 8: they are also obsessed with Donald Trump as a person.
- 2:02:32Speaker 6: Fascinating.
- 2:02:33Speaker 8: So whatever the psychological profile is of these people that
- 2:02:36Speaker 8: shows that, you know, they're sort of on the edge
- 2:02:38Speaker 8: of sanity, fine, you know.
- 2:02:41Speaker 7: Be obsessed.
- 2:02:42Speaker 8: But when you come back to people that are in reality,
- 2:02:45Speaker 8: you look at these major issues, trade. You know, the
- 2:02:49Speaker 8: Canadians held massive trade agreements surpluses with us, had huge
- 2:02:56Speaker 8: tariffs that prevented us from shipping agriculture and other goods
- 2:02:59Speaker 8: into their country while we provided them with a significant
- 2:03:04Speaker 8: portion of their economy. It was a completely one-sided relationship.
- 2:03:09Speaker 8: Trump said it's about changing that. The globalists take out
- 2:03:13Speaker 8: Trudeau and put in this Carney guy. They go from
- 2:03:15Speaker 8: middle management to senior management. You know, Carney's smart. He's crazy,
- 2:03:19Speaker 8: but he's smart. You know, Trudeau was kind of a goofball.
- 2:03:23Speaker 8: And all because they were afraid that if they can't
- 2:03:26Speaker 8: drain the United States economy by defending their own with
- 2:03:29Speaker 8: tariffs and having free, unrestricted access to our economy, that
- 2:03:34Speaker 8: somehow that's going to change the balance of economic power
- 2:03:37Speaker 8: and the globalists are going to make less money.
- 2:03:39Speaker 6: Now, you know who doesn't commit to that calculation?
- 2:03:42Speaker 8: The Canadian people and the American people. So Trump takes
- 2:03:45Speaker 8: this guy on, goes after it, and actually starts impacting
- 2:03:49Speaker 8: that relationship while doing the same thing with these parasitic
- 2:03:52Speaker 8: relationships in Europe, takes China on again for the second time.
- 2:03:57Speaker 8: It's incredible what he's been doing to try to improve
- 2:04:01Speaker 8: our economic reality. Now, there are things that I don't
- 2:04:04Speaker 8: agree with Trump on. As you know, we've talked about
- 2:04:05Speaker 8: him all the time. But it's really time to start
- 2:04:10Speaker 8: thinking about What the world would have been like if
- 2:04:13Speaker 8: Trump hadn't been elected and the federal government was still
- 2:04:16Speaker 8: a critical part of the supply chain of trafficked children.
- 2:04:18Speaker 8: They were still bringing in labor to drive down your wages,
- 2:04:21Speaker 8: which of course shared Brownback for decades. You know, that
- 2:04:25Speaker 8: they would, we'd still have the fentanyl flowing freely across
- 2:04:28Speaker 8: that border that you would have, you know, nobody really
- 2:04:34Speaker 8: standing up for the United States. We'd have the continued
- 2:04:37Speaker 8: destruction of our energy grid, the continued elimination of of
- 2:04:42Speaker 8: refining capacity because, you know, we've got to get past
- 2:04:45Speaker 8: refining because we're all going to live on unicorn dust.
- 2:04:50Speaker 8: It's really significant what would happen. And, of course, we
- 2:04:52Speaker 8: could look to California for some of the indications of
- 2:04:55Speaker 8: what we would have had nationwide. Now, I haven't looked
- 2:04:57Speaker 8: at California's gas price this week, but the last time
- 2:04:59Speaker 8: I looked it was $ 6. 15 a gallon. That's with Trump
- 2:05:03Speaker 8: in office. Can you imagine what it would have been
- 2:05:06Speaker 8: if we weren't pumping 13 million barrels.
- 2:05:08Speaker 7: Of oil a day?
- 2:05:09Speaker 8: If they would have continued to eliminate refining capacity, if
- 2:05:13Speaker 8: they would have continued to drive down our ability to travel.
- 2:05:20Speaker 8: So it's great to hear people beginning to sort of
- 2:05:23Speaker 8: snap out of the almost spell that we've been in
- 2:05:29Speaker 8: as the media has continued to spin the insignificant or
- 2:05:33Speaker 8: untrue into reality. And now we're looking, I think more
- 2:05:36Speaker 8: people are waking up and looking at the landscape of
- 2:05:40Speaker 8: important issues where we are where we would have been
- 2:05:44Speaker 8: but we're happy about and what we need to see
- 2:05:46Speaker 8: trump and the republicans do better at and that's you
- 2:05:50Speaker 8: know a much more mature way to get into this
- 2:05:52Speaker 8: it's interesting when you talk to these trump obsessed people
- 2:05:55Speaker 8: they always talk about how they feel about trump well
- 2:05:58Speaker 8: listen i don't have a particular emotional connection to the
- 2:06:00Speaker 8: man i think about trump i don't spend a lot
- 2:06:03Speaker 8: of time feeling about trump he's not my friend I
- 2:06:06Speaker 8: don't expect to go to the White House and have
- 2:06:08Speaker 8: a beer with him. I'm not looking for a pat
- 2:06:10Speaker 8: on the head from, you know, my government daddy, the
- 2:06:12Speaker 8: way these leftists do. He's just the guy doing the job.
- 2:06:16Speaker 8: Parts of it I like, parts of.
- 2:06:17Speaker 6: It I'm unhappy with.
- 2:06:18Speaker 8: I'm very unhappy with the Republicans in Congress. You know,
- 2:06:21Speaker 8: one thing from last night, though, is Rooley. You know,
- 2:06:24Speaker 8: Representative Rooley, Mike Rooley. He has, you could tell after
- 2:06:28Speaker 8: the event, that he has a deep personal connection with
- 2:06:32Speaker 8: the people who are his constituents.
- 2:06:34Speaker 4: I mean.
- 2:06:35Speaker 8: It was interesting to watch his interaction at the end
- 2:06:37Speaker 8: of the event as people were getting ushered out the door.
- 2:06:40Speaker 8: You know, people are shaking his hand. He's getting hugs.
- 2:06:43Speaker 8: It was incredible to see an elected official who feels
- 2:06:47Speaker 8: that kind of connection to his voters. So that was
- 2:06:51Speaker 8: nice to see because, as you know, most of these
- 2:06:53Speaker 8: people go to D.C. They can't remember where they came from.
- 2:06:56Speaker 8: So that's kind of my final take is, listen, it's
- 2:06:59Speaker 8: time for us all to grow up, set our little
- 2:07:01Speaker 8: feelings aside, stop acting like children. Let's do the math.
- 2:07:05Speaker 8: And the math says energy, foreign affairs, jobs. You know,
- 2:07:11Speaker 8: we are doing better on every major plane than we
- 2:07:15Speaker 8: would have been if we'd have let these lunatics get
- 2:07:18Speaker 8: four more years. And if we'd have had another 20
- 2:07:21Speaker 8: million people in this country and rents would have been
- 2:07:23Speaker 8: driven up still further because the federal government would be
- 2:07:26Speaker 8: paying the rent for the illegal alien, the mass migrant,
- 2:07:30Speaker 8: while the American people have to pay their own rent.
- 2:07:32Speaker 8: That's exactly what's happening in Ireland. It's what's happening in Germany.
- 2:07:36Speaker 8: It would be a disaster if the lunatics had held control.
- 2:07:42Speaker 8: So let's stop talking about how we feel. Let's start thinking,
- 2:07:46Speaker 8: and I think we'll begin to see things a little
- 2:07:48Speaker 8: more clearly. What do we got, 25 days.
- 2:07:50Speaker 7: To the election?
- 2:07:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 2:07:52Speaker 8: People start early voting in a little, a few minutes.
- 2:07:55Speaker 8: Maybe they're really voting now.
- 2:07:56Speaker 2: They're already doing it.
- 2:07:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:07:58Speaker 8: Already doing it. So, you know, it's, it's time to
- 2:08:02Speaker 8: put your, your, your, you know, big boy pants on
- 2:08:05Speaker 8: and go to the polls or, or if you're going
- 2:08:06Speaker 8: to vote. And the idea was interesting to hear the
- 2:08:09Speaker 8: boss lady talk about how she was saying, Hey, I
- 2:08:11Speaker 8: might vote for Donald duck or whatever, but I'm, you know,
- 2:08:14Speaker 8: that I'm not going to do that because I have
- 2:08:16Speaker 8: a responsibility as a citizen and, You may not like
- 2:08:19Speaker 8: the decision in front of you, but you've got to
- 2:08:22Speaker 8: make that decision. You've got to make the best decision
- 2:08:24Speaker 8: you can. The republic depends on it. Now, the day
- 2:08:27Speaker 8: after that decision doesn't mean you go back to sleep.
- 2:08:30Speaker 8: Get involved in a party. Get involved with a citizens group.
- 2:08:33Speaker 8: Get involved in some way, because the leftists are hard
- 2:08:36Speaker 8: involved and paid to be involved. If the American people
- 2:08:40Speaker 8: don't stand up for this country in a bigger way,
- 2:08:43Speaker 8: they will lose it, and frankly, it'll be their fault.
- 2:08:49Speaker 3: So as you were there observing things as a speech,
- 2:08:53Speaker 3: did you think it was a good speech?
- 2:08:55Speaker 6: Yeah, it was great.
- 2:08:56Speaker 8: I thought it was great. The fistfights were kind of expected.
- 2:08:59Speaker 8: They had a couple leftists come in. Now, as I
- 2:09:02Speaker 8: see it on the Internet, they're saying the crowd went
- 2:09:04Speaker 8: after the leftist. I don't think that's the way it
- 2:09:06Speaker 8: looked to me. I didn't have binoculars, but I thought
- 2:09:11Speaker 8: the big woman on the one side jumped up, started yelling,
- 2:09:15Speaker 8: and I thought she was swinging, and people swung back,
- 2:09:18Speaker 8: and then these security dudes went up and subdued her
- 2:09:21Speaker 8: and got her out of there. There was some poor girl.
- 2:09:22Speaker 8: It just was sad to watch her. She's holding up
- 2:09:25Speaker 8: a Palestine flag. She probably doesn't, you know, like I said,
- 2:09:28Speaker 8: she can't find Palestine with a map and a compass,
- 2:09:31Speaker 8: and she thinks she understands the world, and she gets
- 2:09:35Speaker 8: ushered out at the high point of her life. It just,
- 2:09:38Speaker 8: truth be told, it was a sad picture. You know,
- 2:09:40Speaker 8: this wasn't some You know, it was sad. And then
- 2:09:44Speaker 8: there was another another person that stood up and started
- 2:09:46Speaker 8: yelling and swinging. And, OK, I mean, they're going to
- 2:09:49Speaker 8: do that. But it was the speech was fine. It
- 2:09:51Speaker 8: was great. And and he hit some of the high points.
- 2:09:56Speaker 8: This Iran war we've talked about at great length. He
- 2:10:01Speaker 8: touched on that. But I think he understands how unpopular
- 2:10:06Speaker 8: that is. And, you know, we're going to have to
- 2:10:09Speaker 8: we're going to have to see where this one goes.
- 2:10:12Speaker 8: Of course, you know, if it wasn't Trump in office,
- 2:10:16Speaker 8: we'd have someone else starting a war because that's what
- 2:10:18Speaker 8: presidents do. That doesn't excuse.
- 2:10:20Speaker 3: I mean, to a certain extent, the people are saying
- 2:10:23Speaker 3: forever war. It's only been six, seven months. This is
- 2:10:26Speaker 3: not a forever war.
- 2:10:28Speaker 8: I don't think Iran can stand it, no.
- 2:10:31Speaker 3: And you certainly can't say it at this time. Listen,
- 2:10:34Speaker 3: as critical as I can be about the war, you
- 2:10:36Speaker 3: must acknowledge something. I don't know everything Rubio and Trump know.
- 2:10:39Speaker 3: I mean, I don't know all that information. And they're
- 2:10:42Speaker 3: probably not going to share it with me. And the
- 2:10:44Speaker 3: reality is, if that.
- 2:10:50Speaker 3: Woman was right, Brennan, whatever her name is, Brennan, over
- 2:10:53Speaker 3: the weekend that they've already agreed never to have a
- 2:10:57Speaker 3: nuclear weapon or the nuclear dust, and that's a big
- 2:10:59Speaker 3: victory for him if that materializes.
- 2:11:02Speaker 2: So let's see where this goes.
- 2:11:05Speaker 8: That's right. If this goes forward the way it could go,
- 2:11:08Speaker 8: we could end up in a much better position because
- 2:11:09Speaker 8: of it. And it's a shame that, you know, we
- 2:11:12Speaker 8: have to go to conflict. But pick a time in
- 2:11:14Speaker 8: history when a nation didn't go to conflict. You know,
- 2:11:17Speaker 8: it how crazy the world would be if some other
- 2:11:22Speaker 8: nation with some other culture had the power that the
- 2:11:25Speaker 8: united states have as i'm not happy with everything we've
- 2:11:28Speaker 8: done not by a long shot but how crazy would
- 2:11:32Speaker 8: it be if it was somebody else but we we
- 2:11:33Speaker 8: can only you know shutter in fear of the thought
- 2:11:38Speaker 8: you're right i mean i i think this this this
- 2:11:40Speaker 8: war could come out to be beneficial in the long
- 2:11:42Speaker 8: run i don't see how this turns into a twenty-year
- 2:11:44Speaker 8: war remember to get to a 20-year war, to get
- 2:11:47Speaker 8: to the big money for the military-industrial complex, you have
- 2:11:50Speaker 8: to deploy ground forces. And then they get the food
- 2:11:55Speaker 8: and the fuel, they get the tents, they get all
- 2:11:57Speaker 8: the things that they provide. We write unlimited checks for.
- 2:12:01Speaker 8: Trump is so far, and I believe will continue, so far,
- 2:12:04Speaker 8: he refuses to yield to the neocons in Israel and
- 2:12:07Speaker 8: deploy ground forces. I don't think he's going to do it.
- 2:12:10Speaker 8: I don't think it's necessary. And so I don't see
- 2:12:13Speaker 8: this as a forever war.
- 2:12:15Speaker 7: It's just.
- 2:12:15Speaker 8: There's too much pressure on Iran, and Trump won't take
- 2:12:19Speaker 8: the bait on that next step. So, you know, I
- 2:12:24Speaker 8: don't see it.
- 2:12:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 2:12:26Speaker 3: So would it be your thoughts at this point in
- 2:12:29Speaker 3: time that it's closer than to reaching some type of resolution, perhaps?
- 2:12:36Speaker 8: I asked somebody that two weeks ago, you know, Brigadier General,
- 2:12:40Speaker 8: a very informed guy on geopolitical strategy. And he said
- 2:12:45Speaker 8: it's sooner rather than later. I then spoke to him
- 2:12:47Speaker 8: at length. And yeah, I think it's closer to to
- 2:12:53Speaker 8: Iran buckling than than we are allowed to believe.
- 2:12:59Speaker 3: It would be good, would it not, if we could
- 2:13:02Speaker 3: bring it to a conclusion and move on from there?
- 2:13:06Speaker 8: Oh, it'd be great. And remember, in the end, China loses.
- 2:13:10Speaker 8: I said this yesterday. China loses its below-market access to
- 2:13:13Speaker 8: oil from Venezuela and from Iran. That has a balancing
- 2:13:18Speaker 8: effect on the global economy. Remember, China's very vulnerable for coal,
- 2:13:26Speaker 8: iron ore. They have to bring some of that stuff
- 2:13:28Speaker 8: in because they have a huge steelmaking facility. They're vulnerable
- 2:13:31Speaker 8: on oil, energy as a whole. They've, of course, built
- 2:13:34Speaker 8: out their They're coal-fired plants, but for metallurgical-type coal. This
- 2:13:41Speaker 8: country is dependent upon imports, and as long as they're
- 2:13:43Speaker 8: dependent upon imports, it's harder for them to underprice all
- 2:13:48Speaker 8: these Western societies and suck out the economies. So them
- 2:13:53Speaker 8: losing access to below-market energy is going to be a
- 2:13:58Speaker 8: huge win basically for the American worker.
- 2:14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely.
- 2:14:04Speaker 3: Do you ever notice on the coverage, look at the
- 2:14:08Speaker 3: crowd that he drew on a Monday with short notice,
- 2:14:11Speaker 3: which was impressive, that the media concentrates on, well, there
- 2:14:14Speaker 3: were a few empty seats. I mean, they take such
- 2:14:17Speaker 3: joy in like he's losing his mojo.
- 2:14:21Speaker 2: I don't understand.
- 2:14:22Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 2:14:23Speaker 7: That's crazy.
- 2:14:24Speaker 8: I mean, they have to because they're not reporters. They're activists.
- 2:14:28Speaker 8: Their job isn't to inform us of things that make
- 2:14:30Speaker 8: us better informed. their job is to convince us that
- 2:14:33Speaker 8: they're globalist and democrat uh... unity these lunatics are are
- 2:14:38Speaker 8: doing better the people hate their own country and that's
- 2:14:42Speaker 8: what we want to do to our country what's happening
- 2:14:44Speaker 8: in as i said in ireland and in spain and
- 2:14:48Speaker 8: and uh... these people are their activists they lie to
- 2:14:52Speaker 8: us every time they open their mouth now again i
- 2:14:55Speaker 8: i was in the room that crowd was a big
- 2:14:58Speaker 8: crowd it was a energized crowd It was on a Monday.
- 2:15:01Speaker 8: I've heard that people were concerned about parking in downtown Youngstown.
- 2:15:04Speaker 8: I've heard some other things about people being concerned they
- 2:15:07Speaker 8: couldn't get in because that's happened before rallies. I don't know.
- 2:15:10Speaker 8: I thought it was a great crowd. I don't know
- 2:15:14Speaker 8: why people are even talking about that because I don't
- 2:15:17Speaker 8: think anyone else can pull a crowd like that.
- 2:15:20Speaker 2: I can't think of anybody that could do that in
- 2:15:23Speaker 2: a political world today.
- 2:15:24Speaker 7: In what, 10 days?
- 2:15:28Speaker 2: To take an arena like that?
- 2:15:29Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly. What they're really saying is the crowd is
- 2:15:33Speaker 8: bigger than any other person could get, any other candidate
- 2:15:36Speaker 8: or political force could get in this country, but we
- 2:15:39Speaker 8: think it should have been bigger.
- 2:15:41Speaker 7: Okay.
- 2:15:42Speaker 25: All right.
- 2:15:43Speaker 8: You know, show us an example where they've ever said,
- 2:15:46Speaker 8: that was a big crowd. They lied about the crowd.
- 2:15:50Speaker 8: They've always lied about crowds. So, yeah, it's just, it's
- 2:15:53Speaker 8: a silly, it's frankly kind of a silly discussion.
- 2:15:57Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 2:15:59Speaker 3: Any other thoughts on the mind of G2 today before
- 2:16:02Speaker 3: we run out of time?
- 2:16:04Speaker 8: Well, you know, it'd be interesting to have another chance
- 2:16:08Speaker 8: to have people ask questions and really kind of prompt
- 2:16:11Speaker 8: more thinking. But I think it is such a critical
- 2:16:17Speaker 8: time in our country. Some things are looking rough. Some
- 2:16:20Speaker 8: things are looking great. This idea of a K economy is,
- 2:16:24Speaker 8: I think, a very real thing. after we get through
- 2:16:27Speaker 8: November 3rd and people have made the decision, and remember,
- 2:16:31Speaker 8: as Rush says, if you choose not to decide, you
- 2:16:34Speaker 8: still have made a choice. You just might be irresponsibly deciding.
- 2:16:39Speaker 8: But once we get to November 4th, we have to
- 2:16:41Speaker 8: look at how the landscape appears, and then we have
- 2:16:44Speaker 8: to decide how we're going to move forward. If you
- 2:16:46Speaker 8: are a citizen that wants this country to succeed, I'm afraid,
- 2:16:49Speaker 8: I'm sorry to tell you this, you're going to have
- 2:16:50Speaker 8: to step up. That means calling your elected officials from
- 2:16:53Speaker 8: time to time, maybe doing an email now and again.
- 2:16:56Speaker 8: Maybe you've got to go to an event, attend a
- 2:16:58Speaker 8: county commissioner. This republic doesn't run on autopilot, and our
- 2:17:03Speaker 8: representatives are not representing us because we aren't showing up.
- 2:17:07Speaker 8: So I think we have to be very thoughtful about,
- 2:17:10Speaker 8: as citizens, what we do next.
- 2:17:13Speaker 3: All right, standby. G2 wraps it up. After this, NewsRadio 570,
- 2:17:19Speaker 3: Dodie Kivian, Ron Verp from the Kingdom of Mahoney. Guardians
- 2:17:22Speaker 3: on the air tonight, 7.33 p.m. Well, early voting is underway, obviously,
- 2:17:32Speaker 3: you know, hard to imagine. I mean, it's, you know,
- 2:17:35Speaker 3: middle of October and people have voted already, you know
- 2:17:38Speaker 3: what I mean?
- 2:17:39Speaker 9: It is, man.
- 2:17:41Speaker 3: Anymore. Remember the good old days when you could do
- 2:17:45Speaker 3: an absentee ballot if you were in the military or
- 2:17:47Speaker 3: you're going to be out of town and people would
- 2:17:49Speaker 3: do it unscathed? that sense and then you showed up
- 2:17:51Speaker 3: on election day from 6 in the morning until 7.30
- 2:17:53Speaker 3: at night. We didn't have like voting season like we
- 2:17:57Speaker 3: do now.
- 2:17:58Speaker 4: Oh, I do.
- 2:17:59Speaker 8: And part of the problem with implementing all these different
- 2:18:02Speaker 8: methods of voting is fraud. And the Department of Justice
- 2:18:06Speaker 8: arrested I think 14 more people today. They got 10
- 2:18:10Speaker 8: in Minnesota a couple of weeks ago. They arrested people
- 2:18:13Speaker 8: in Pennsylvania. One of the women that was just arrested
- 2:18:15Speaker 8: has been voting for years, but she's a Philippine citizen
- 2:18:19Speaker 8: who's just been living here. So she's obviously been voting illegally.
- 2:18:25Speaker 8: So the thing for people to keep in mind is
- 2:18:27Speaker 8: that the old days are also over in form of
- 2:18:30Speaker 8: just cheating. The government is looking for people who are
- 2:18:33Speaker 8: committing election fraud now. So if you're filling out ballots
- 2:18:36Speaker 8: that aren't yours... and they find you, you can do
- 2:18:40Speaker 8: prison time.
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: And it should be that way. It absolutely should be
- 2:18:48Speaker 2: that way.
- 2:18:49Speaker 3: And, of course, they said none of that ever happens.
- 2:18:51Speaker 3: I mean, you know, they would always deny any of
- 2:18:53Speaker 3: that kind of stuff was even remotely going on.
- 2:18:57Speaker 2: You're paranoid. It's a conspiracy theory.
- 2:19:00Speaker 8: But I've given specific examples many times, including one where
- 2:19:03Speaker 8: I found a woman who lives alone, has three adult
- 2:19:06Speaker 8: children who had left, has a husband who had died.
- 2:19:09Speaker 8: She voted five times. She uses mail-in ballots, the primary
- 2:19:12Speaker 8: vector for fraud, and she voted five times. And, you know,
- 2:19:17Speaker 8: we found her. We turned her into a prosecutor who,
- 2:19:20Speaker 8: of course, declined to take action because they support election
- 2:19:23Speaker 8: fraud in that particular jurisdiction. But... Yeah, they say it's
- 2:19:28Speaker 8: never happening, presented mountains of evidence. And then they say, well, gee,
- 2:19:31Speaker 8: there's no evidence. It's sort of another one of these
- 2:19:34Speaker 8: mass confusions. But now that's getting cleared up because the
- 2:19:39Speaker 8: DOJ is arresting people and taking them to jail.
- 2:19:41Speaker 2: Any thoughts on this Ilhan Omar situation?
- 2:19:46Speaker 8: Well, you know, we've been hearing about this for a
- 2:19:47Speaker 8: long time. We know that there are videos of people
- 2:19:50Speaker 8: bragging about committing election fraud for her that have been
- 2:19:52Speaker 8: on YouTube for, you know, 10 years. So I think
- 2:19:55Speaker 8: it's about time that the government gets involved in actually
- 2:19:57Speaker 8: enforcing the law. And, you know, she hates the country.
- 2:20:01Speaker 8: She says, I'm not here for America. I'm here for Somalia.
- 2:20:05Speaker 25: Well, okay, let's deal with it.
- 2:20:07Speaker 8: If she really is here with an illegal immigration problem,
- 2:20:11Speaker 8: then send her home.
- 2:20:12Speaker 6: If she.
- 2:20:15Speaker 8: Has committed election fraud, then charge her.
- 2:20:18Speaker 3: Or making all this money that seems unaccountable for. G2,
- 2:20:21Speaker 3: great reporting yesterday. Appreciate it.
- 2:20:23Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 2:20:24Speaker 2: Have a great night.
- 2:20:24Speaker 6: Thanks.
