  Speaker 1: Happy New Year, everybody. It is time for today's word,

  Speaker 1: a new beginning with God. Isaiah forty three eighteen through

  Speaker 1: nineteen says, forget the former things. Do not dwell on

  Speaker 1: the past. See I am doing a new thing. Now

  Speaker 1: it springs up? Do you not perceive it? New Year's

  Speaker 1: Day marks more than the turning of a calendar. It
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: marks an invitation from God to step into something new.

  Speaker 1: God specializes in new beginnings, new mercies, new strength, new opportunities.

  Speaker 1: As the year begins, it's natural to reflect on what's

  Speaker 1: behind us. The victories we celebrated, the prayers that were answered,

  Speaker 1: but also the disappointments, the mistakes, the unmet expectations. God

  Speaker 1: lovingly says, do not dwell on the past, not because

  Speaker 1: it didn't matter, but because it no longer has authority

  Speaker 1: over your fears future. God has already had work in

  Speaker 1: this new season, even when you can't see it clearly.

  Speaker 1: Something fresh is springing up, a new level of faith,

  Speaker 1: a new way of thinking, a renewed sense of purpose.

  Speaker 1: You may be still carrying questions from last year, but

  Speaker 1: God is not asking you to have all the answers.

  Speaker 1: He's asking you to trust him one step at a time.

  Speaker 1: As you step into this new year, release what you

  Speaker 1: can't change, Embrace what God is about to do. Let

  Speaker 1: go of the guilt, Let go of the regret, let

  Speaker 1: go of the fear. This is not the year to

  Speaker 1: shrink fact, this is the year to move forward with hope.

  Speaker 1: God has already gone ahead of you. He's already prepared

  Speaker 1: the right people, the right opportunities, and the grace you'll

  Speaker 1: need for every challenge. Walk into this year with expectation.

  Speaker 1: Believe that God is working all things together for your good.

  Speaker 1: The same God who carried you through last year will

  Speaker 1: guide you through this one, and he will not fail.

  Speaker 1: He can't fail. Off ain't no failure in him. Oh

  Speaker 1: Father God, thank you for the gift of a new

  Speaker 1: year in a fresh start. Thank you that your mercies

  Speaker 1: are new every morning and your plans for us are good.

  Speaker 1: Help us to release the past and walk forward in faith, trust,

  Speaker 1: and expectation. God, we believe you're doing a new thing

  Speaker 1: in our lives, and we step into this year with hope,

  Speaker 1: with confidence, and with joy in Jesus' name. Hey, now
