- 1:36Speaker 1: into Welcome to plat though, I do just want to
- 1:41Speaker 1: address that you got a DM. And this happens every
- 1:46Speaker 1: season for us. All the time we get these dms,
- 1:49Speaker 1: we get reviews on different podcast platforms from a variety
- 1:54Speaker 1: of people who stand so hard they go ten toes
- 1:59Speaker 1: down for Olivia Plath.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yeah, we've got a couple comments on YouTube too, did
- 2:03Speaker 2: we Yeah?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Okay, so basically what was the comment about?
- 2:07Speaker 2: Just I mean, the overarching theme of these is why
- 2:11Speaker 2: do you like hate Olivia? The Olivia hates too much?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Why do you hate her? And may we remind you
- 2:18Speaker 2: we've always been hating her. Yeah, she's a lot nicer
- 2:21Speaker 2: to her than I am. I try, I really, I'm
- 2:24Speaker 2: I try way more mean. But this is not new.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I don't know where y'all come from. Yeah, we say
- 2:30Speaker 2: at the beginning of the podcast every time, if you're sensitive,
- 2:33Speaker 2: don't listen.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you're not going to.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Agree with everything that we say, and that's totally fine.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yes, And I do want to say, especially after this
- 2:42Speaker 1: week's episode, I like Olivia a lot more without Ethan.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I know you you don't like her, but I like
- 2:49Speaker 1: her a lot more without Ethan. I think she's interesting.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I think her pursuit of personal development, I think that's interesting.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I'm here for it personally. I think it makes for
- 2:59Speaker 1: a more interesting podcast when you've got two people on
- 3:02Speaker 1: different sides in terms of opinions. Sure, and so I'm
- 3:06Speaker 1: not here to like stand for her, and I'm gonna
- 3:08Speaker 1: call her ound because they do think she's a malignant narcisist,
- 3:11Speaker 1: but she's also a kid. And also for people who
- 3:15Speaker 1: like write us and tell us like that our opinions
- 3:17Speaker 1: are too much or we're going too far, sucky nuts
- 3:22Speaker 1: sufer real nuts. I don't care. I'm one hundred years old,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I've been on this planet for forever. These are my opinions.
- 3:29Speaker 1: If you don't like it, come over here. SUSY's nuts
- 3:32Speaker 1: for real. That's how I feel about. It's no offense, please,
- 3:38Speaker 1: That's literally how I feel like. Can't we just all
- 3:40Speaker 1: get in the dumpster and have different opinions. We're just
- 3:43Speaker 1: talking about reality TV. It's not that deep.
- 3:45Speaker 2: It's not that deep. Jesha God for real.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Furthermore, everybody can get it, Oh my god, we hate everybody,
- 3:52Speaker 1: Elnest Welcome to plaith Built. Every single person on this
- 3:55Speaker 1: cast can get it. We hate everybody except for maybe
- 3:58Speaker 1: Barry and Isaac and Isaac and the three Littles. Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 1: little innocent we like the Tinder but everyone else. Yes,
- 4:05Speaker 1: we are here for it. Yeah. So if you can't
- 4:07Speaker 1: handle it, if you're too sensitive of the podcast, okay, yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 1: all right, that's all we want to say. We do
- 4:14Speaker 1: love you, Yeah, and we're happy you're here.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Yeah, even if you hate us.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yes, if you did look at some of our stories
- 4:23Speaker 1: last year, didn't she she did. I think she looks
- 4:26Speaker 1: for like who's mentioning her, talking about her, and she
- 4:31Speaker 1: follows all of that. She's very interested in her image.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Well, and I don't want to get too conspiratorial, but
- 4:36Speaker 2: after she watched our stories, then we got a bunch
- 4:39Speaker 2: of negative reviews on Apple talking about how we were internalized,
- 4:44Speaker 2: misogynous or whatever because we hate her.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So I don't hate her. She hates her.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You hate her too.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I got season four, Olivia, did I hate her? I
- 4:58Speaker 1: will hate her when it's appropriate. Yeah, And it's my
- 5:01Speaker 1: opinion and you can't take it away from me.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 1: All right, let's get into the episode.
- 5:04Speaker 2: All right, Well, let's start with Ethan and Olivia at
- 5:07Speaker 2: the beginning of the episode, because we kind of wrapped
- 5:09Speaker 2: up their conversation from last episode, which was about the
- 5:13Speaker 2: divorce papers. She flew to Minnesota without telling Ethan. She
- 5:18Speaker 2: told the producers though probably and Ethan was a little
- 5:22Speaker 2: blind sided. It's the next day after their kind of
- 5:25Speaker 2: tense argument, well not really argument, but they're tents meet
- 5:30Speaker 2: up after she flew in, and she was like, ya,
- 5:32Speaker 2: are you mad at me? And he's like, yeah, of
- 5:34Speaker 2: course I am. So the next day he's sad. He's
- 5:38Speaker 2: kind of having a change of heart. He misses her,
- 5:41Speaker 2: he's seeing how beautiful she looks. I mean, she's objectively gorgeous.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And I say this all the time.
- 5:46Speaker 1: So I don't hate her, comple It's not a personality trait, though, No,
- 5:49Speaker 1: it's not. Somebody can be pretty, but that doesn't make
- 5:51Speaker 1: them a good person, exactly a healthy person. They can
- 5:53Speaker 1: still be very, very toxic for sure. Sometimes I feel
- 5:56Speaker 1: like that's all we give Olivia is that she's gorgeous.
- 5:58Speaker 1: There are other things, I'm sure, some redeeming qualities, some
- 6:01Speaker 1: raw materials that we can call out because we're always
- 6:04Speaker 1: just calling out her beauty. But sometimes they feel like that's.
- 6:07Speaker 2: All she is. I feel like she's intelligent. Yes, she's smart,
- 6:12Speaker 2: she's very smart, but that can also be toxic.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 6:17Speaker 2: She's a talented photographer.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Yes, I mean her photography is good.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:23Speaker 1: So she comes over on that second day, they sit down,
- 6:26Speaker 1: they're talking about when they're going to be able to
- 6:28Speaker 1: get this divorce done. Olivia just wants the paper sign, honey,
- 6:32Speaker 1: she wants the division of asset. She doesn't want to
- 6:34Speaker 1: prolong this longer than it needs to be, and Ethan
- 6:38Speaker 1: is just not ready. Yeah, And this is the scene
- 6:41Speaker 1: where he actually asks her, like is there any chance
- 6:44Speaker 1: at all that we can stay together? And Olivia just
- 6:47Speaker 1: shakes her head and she's like no, that was so sad.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It was really sad.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I found bad.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I said last week, like, I've had conversations with like
- 6:56Speaker 1: beautiful men that wanted to stay in relationships with me,
- 6:58Speaker 1: because how could you not duh? But I had to
- 7:02Speaker 1: let them down and I had to say no, And
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm sure many many people out there can relate to
- 7:07Speaker 1: just how difficult that was. I felt so bad for Olivia,
- 7:10Speaker 1: me too, and I felt really bad for Ethan me too.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It was a sad moment. But she's like, nope, nope,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's over.
- 7:16Speaker 2: She's already fucking somebody else, I mean lesbian totally.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Well, because she's acting like she's not and she's new
- 7:22Speaker 1: to dating and she's new to life, so we think
- 7:25Speaker 1: she's out there slang in the pool.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's dating. She's probably fucking and that's totally fine, Like,
- 7:31Speaker 2: there's nothing wrong with that. She's out of this divorce,
- 7:34Speaker 2: she's out of this fundamentalist cult that she's been in.
- 7:36Speaker 2: So like, that's fine, get your dick on, girl, that's great.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Well, she even goes to pains to say, like, we
- 7:42Speaker 1: are not legally divorced. But as soon as we both
- 7:45Speaker 1: decided that this was over, I felt spiritually in my
- 7:49Speaker 1: heart that I was divorced. Maybe in her pants too,
- 7:52Speaker 1: maybe in her pussy, she felt divorced, and so does
- 7:55Speaker 1: that does give her kind of permission to get.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Out there totally And she's been done with the marriage
- 8:00Speaker 2: for a long time. Let's be real.
- 8:01Speaker 1: We've been seeing it. I mean she's been done.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Since probably the end of season four, so I mean
- 8:07Speaker 2: it's fair. It's just Ethan who is very still much
- 8:12Speaker 2: like he's very still much in love with her. I
- 8:14Speaker 2: think I fucked up the words there. I don't care, but.
- 8:16Speaker 1: He's like, he's still very much in love with her. Yes,
- 8:19Speaker 1: but here again, And I'm sorry, and you're gonna hate me,
- 8:22Speaker 1: but I just have to say, like, I don't get it, Ethan.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You're the one who said she could never be the
- 8:28Speaker 1: one for you because her values had shifted and changed.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I don't get it, Ethan. She's not cooking you three
- 8:34Speaker 1: square meals, she's not being a traditional wife. So you
- 8:38Speaker 1: told her you could never have a family with her.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You told her you couldn't be with somebody like her.
- 8:43Speaker 1: So I don't get it, Ethan. Why you so sad
- 8:45Speaker 1: and crying all red faced because she's telling you no,
- 8:48Speaker 1: it's over. You're the one who said it, so cry harder.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Well, it's not always that easy. Emotions are complicated. He's
- 8:55Speaker 2: also young too, and he's a shadow and path like
- 8:58Speaker 2: we've talked about before, so he's kind of dumb with
- 9:01Speaker 2: his emotions and doesn't know how to feel them until
- 9:03Speaker 2: they come up, and then when he sees her, it's like, oh,
- 9:06Speaker 2: I miss her.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Yeah, But did you notice how he told the producer
- 9:09Speaker 1: that he didn't realize how much he wanted her back
- 9:12Speaker 1: until he saw her. Yeah, which kind of takes us
- 9:14Speaker 1: back to the beginning when we're talking about aesthetically how
- 9:17Speaker 1: she looks. It's like, not until he sees how painfully
- 9:21Speaker 1: pretty she is that he wants her back. So why
- 9:24Speaker 1: do you want her back because you don't talk about
- 9:26Speaker 1: the same things, you're not interested in the same things.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Is it just the sex? Is it just because she's pretty?
- 9:32Speaker 2: It's probably just the idea of it all. Like, and
- 9:34Speaker 2: they got together so young. I mean, they were together
- 9:36Speaker 2: for a few years before they got married, I'm pretty sure,
- 9:39Speaker 2: and they were totally boyken. They were blowing each other
- 9:43Speaker 2: in the car. But at the time of first love.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But at the time of this conversation, they've been separated
- 9:47Speaker 1: for like eight months or something. So I have that
- 9:49Speaker 1: been around each other for a really long time. Yeah,
- 9:53Speaker 1: So I don't under I don't understand. But the thing
- 9:55Speaker 1: is is he doesn't process his emotions exactly, so he
- 9:59Speaker 1: doesn't even know why he feeling the things that he's feeling. Yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 1: and he doesn't have the tools and the resources to
- 10:04Speaker 1: stop hammer time and check out what's going on psychologically
- 10:08Speaker 1: within himself to understand his own motivation. So he's always
- 10:11Speaker 1: going to be in this weird place with Olivia because
- 10:14Speaker 1: he doesn't know how to heal from her.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think it's a mailstream of emotions within him.
- 10:18Speaker 2: It's like the bitterness that he feels for Olivia and anger,
- 10:21Speaker 2: but also the love because she was the first girl
- 10:24Speaker 2: he had ever been with, and it's the idea of
- 10:27Speaker 2: this like marriage that they had. They got married so
- 10:29Speaker 2: young and then nobody wants to get divorced. That shit sucks.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Even if you have a terrible relationship, it still sucks.
- 10:36Speaker 2: So I mean, I think he's just feeling a lot
- 10:38Speaker 2: and I'm giving him a lot of credit. I know
- 10:40Speaker 2: people are gonna be like, waitily Ethan so much. I
- 10:42Speaker 2: don't I think he's dumb. I think he needs to
- 10:45Speaker 2: go to therapy and learn how to communicate and feel
- 10:47Speaker 2: his emotions in an adult way. But he's also young,
- 10:51Speaker 2: just like Olivia is. She's not handling everything properly either,
- 10:54Speaker 2: So it's just kind of a shitty situation.
- 10:57Speaker 1: What I mean, when what's she doing that's not proper?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Like I mean, she's left because he said he can't
- 11:02Speaker 1: have a relationship with her, can't have children with her,
- 11:04Speaker 1: can't be married her. So she's left. She's got her
- 11:06Speaker 1: photography business, she's living her life. She's hanging out with
- 11:10Speaker 1: her sister, her brother passed away. I feel like everything
- 11:13Speaker 1: at least that we're seeing shows her as fairly well
- 11:17Speaker 1: adjusted and trying to move on. I mean, in this,
- 11:21Speaker 1: in this snapshot of her life, I understand like for
- 11:23Speaker 1: the four or five previous years that she was married
- 11:26Speaker 1: to him, like she did a lot of prad Yeah
- 11:28Speaker 1: that was bad. But right now, I mean, what I'm
- 11:30Speaker 1: seeing I'm liking.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Well, it seems like she left when things were kind
- 11:35Speaker 2: of like not really resolved, and she left without giving
- 11:38Speaker 2: a shit about their lease and their apartments. So now
- 11:40Speaker 2: he's working two jobs to have to pay for their
- 11:42Speaker 2: apartment that they have and she but he didn't really
- 11:44Speaker 2: say that.
- 11:44Speaker 1: You don't really know that she's not sending half of
- 11:47Speaker 1: the I doubt rent check. He's having to work two jobs,
- 11:50Speaker 1: but it hasn't been established. You are speculating, I mean
- 11:54Speaker 1: she might be she just left. Maybe TLC is paying
- 11:57Speaker 1: for that. Well, but he said he didn't love her.
- 11:59Speaker 1: We could go on and.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I'm we can bite about it on and on and on.
- 12:02Speaker 1: But he didn't say he didn't love her. He said
- 12:05Speaker 1: they weren't compatiblesh he isn't sure the same values. And
- 12:07Speaker 1: he had a list and she didn't meet his list
- 12:11Speaker 1: of three things right, his three deal breakers. She didn't
- 12:14Speaker 1: meet it.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Yeah, So I mean they're just not right for each other.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Agreed, that's the more on that.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yes, yes, And I understand your frustration with why Ethan
- 12:23Speaker 2: can't just get over it, but it's like, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 2: it's one of those things. It's hard. They were together
- 12:27Speaker 2: for seven years, Like I'm the kind of person I
- 12:30Speaker 2: would take a long time to get over.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but you'd also be in therapy facts, and you'd
- 12:34Speaker 1: also be like hanging out with well adjusted people. You'd
- 12:37Speaker 1: probably be in a raccoon support group. You'd be doing
- 12:40Speaker 1: things to help yourself on Like in this season of
- 12:44Speaker 1: your life, Ethan is not doing any of those things.
- 12:46Speaker 1: He's working two jobs, he's living in the same apartment,
- 12:49Speaker 1: he is trying not to face all of his emotions
- 12:51Speaker 1: and so this is why he gets tomato red in
- 12:54Speaker 1: the face and he doesn't know what to do, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: he slams his hands down on the chair and he
- 12:57Speaker 1: gets angry because he's a big tall the big dumb
- 13:01Speaker 1: toddler he really is.
- 13:03Speaker 2: And I mean, I will give Olivia credit. I mean
- 13:05Speaker 2: she's come in in there totally put together, looking gorge
- 13:08Speaker 2: and she's glowing and living her best life.
- 13:10Speaker 1: And she's choosing her words. I mean, I do kind
- 13:13Speaker 1: of co sign what you were saying last week, Like
- 13:16Speaker 1: maybe she was trying to intentionally trigger him by bringing
- 13:20Speaker 1: up like, well, how's your family now? Like I can
- 13:22Speaker 1: see that a little bit. But she does seem to
- 13:24Speaker 1: be overall, generally speaking, like trying to choose her words,
- 13:29Speaker 1: trying to be kind, trying to be reasonable, and on
- 13:33Speaker 1: the second meeting, the meeting that we're talking about, when
- 13:35Speaker 1: she comes over on the second day, he seems to
- 13:37Speaker 1: be trying to But at the end of this he's like,
- 13:40Speaker 1: I just can't do it right now. Yeah, I know
- 13:41Speaker 1: you want to sign the papers. I know you want
- 13:43Speaker 1: to get to the division of assets, but I am
- 13:45Speaker 1: not there emotionally. So now Olivia's going to have to
- 13:49Speaker 1: come back to Minnesota at some time in the future,
- 13:52Speaker 1: and they're going to have to finalize.
- 13:54Speaker 2: It or just have somebody serve the papers.
- 13:56Speaker 1: You can do it remotely.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I mean, it's not like you have to fly out there.
- 13:59Speaker 1: But where are the camera? That's where I want to
- 14:00Speaker 1: be exactly. That's where it comes down to you.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And then we have Kim, her sugar body and Ken.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Before you say anything else, I have to ask the question.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I have to scream it into the void, and I
- 14:15Speaker 1: have to say, are we ever going to talk about
- 14:18Speaker 1: her motherfucking duy No, like the fact that she raised
- 14:23Speaker 1: this entire family to not eat any sugar while she
- 14:26Speaker 1: clearly snuck away to the barn and ate a lot
- 14:28Speaker 1: of sugar. Okay, all those kids are thin and thit
- 14:32Speaker 1: and athletic and active. And here's Kim with her sugar body.
- 14:36Speaker 1: She's ginning somewhere, yep. And she taught them not to drink,
- 14:39Speaker 1: and she taught them not to do drugs, and she
- 14:41Speaker 1: taught them not to be promiscuous. And they grew up
- 14:43Speaker 1: in this religious and disciplined life. And then of course
- 14:46Speaker 1: she left the family. She blew it all apart. She
- 14:49Speaker 1: has an adulterous relationship like legally an adulterous relationship with
- 14:54Speaker 1: Ken Palmer, and she had a duy, she cracked up
- 14:57Speaker 1: her vehicle, she was drunk, and she was arrested, and
- 15:02Speaker 1: we're not gonna talk about it on this show. We're
- 15:04Speaker 1: just pretend that that never That is to me, if
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'm a producer on this show, I want to make
- 15:10Speaker 1: sure we're talking about this, because this is how you
- 15:12Speaker 1: raised your family and now this is how you're acting, Like,
- 15:14Speaker 1: make it make sense.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It doesn't make any sense. And I don't know if
- 15:18Speaker 2: it's maybe the family agreed to not bring it up
- 15:21Speaker 2: because they don't want to humiliate her, Like maybe it
- 15:23Speaker 2: was like a total mistake. Maybe she's not always driving drunk.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I don't know, but it just feels disingenuous to not
- 15:30Speaker 2: talk about it and have her be like, yeah, I
- 15:32Speaker 2: made a dumb, fucking mistake and I drove after a
- 15:35Speaker 2: few beers after fucking Ken, and I got I got.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Arrested, or like I got depressed because I'm getting a
- 15:42Speaker 1: divorce and I can't connect with some of my children
- 15:45Speaker 1: and I made a mistake and I really regret it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Like I would.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Respect that, Oh yeah, I would respect her. Yeah, she
- 15:50Speaker 2: could be honest.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I don't know if i'd respect her.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I would for being honest, Yes, for.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Being honest, I would respect that. But we're just gonna
- 15:57Speaker 1: pretend none of it is happening. It's wild.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It's because she's a narc and she's concerned about how
- 16:03Speaker 2: she's being perceived on TV. Notice how she's also talking
- 16:07Speaker 2: about the divorce and like blaming it on Barry and
- 16:09Speaker 2: how it's taking so long because of Barry because he's
- 16:13Speaker 2: not resolved and we're having to divide all the assets.
- 16:15Speaker 2: And I'm getting frustrated at Barry for the divorce. It's like, well,
- 16:19Speaker 2: you guys got a lot of shit that you have
- 16:21Speaker 2: to divide. I'm sure a lot, and I'm sure she's
- 16:24Speaker 2: fighting for a lot of money.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Well, and they're talking it through, So I don't think
- 16:29Speaker 1: they actually filed the divorce papers until recently.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Oh really?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think we I sent you the link
- 16:35Speaker 1: on Instagram. We saw a copy of Barry's filing. He's
- 16:39Speaker 1: asking her for child support.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeap.
- 16:41Speaker 1: It sounds like it feels like the kids, the little ones,
- 16:45Speaker 1: are spending most of their time with him as opposed
- 16:47Speaker 1: to on a boat. Yeah, what kind of predators are
- 16:50Speaker 1: in that Marina and I'm not talking about wildlife, I'm
- 16:52Speaker 1: talking about.
- 16:53Speaker 2: People, no, for real, And that Marina bathroom.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Your little girl has to go to the bathroom in
- 16:57Speaker 1: the middle of the night because she's got her period
- 16:59Speaker 1: or something like who's there, Kim? Are you escorting them?
- 17:01Speaker 1: I don't trust it, neither to Sparry. And so he's
- 17:05Speaker 1: seeking child support, which I love.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, if he's getting fifty percent custody, he
- 17:10Speaker 2: should be getting child support.
- 17:11Speaker 1: But at the time of this filming that we're watching,
- 17:13Speaker 1: they haven't even filed yet. So what are you talking about, Kim?
- 17:16Speaker 2: And she says it's been two years almost since they separated.
- 17:20Speaker 1: That's her fucking with the timeline. I don't necessarily believe that.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I don't.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I don't think that that's right. And I mean, she
- 17:27Speaker 2: said she's been with Ken Palmer for a year and
- 17:29Speaker 2: a half, but then they've been separated for two I'm like, mmmmm,
- 17:33Speaker 2: seems like it's been the other way around, like you've
- 17:35Speaker 2: been with Ken this whole time.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I don't believe you.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yep. And then we kind of hear from Ken because
- 17:40Speaker 2: he's talking about how he did offer to have her
- 17:43Speaker 2: live with him in his house in Florida?
- 17:46Speaker 1: Is he drunk while he's saying that he's.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Kind of slower in his words?
- 17:48Speaker 1: But maybe I was like, actually, not to make a
- 17:51Speaker 1: joke of it, but I was actually wondering, like maybe
- 17:53Speaker 1: he's had a stroke or something, like something's a little
- 17:56Speaker 1: off about him. And I'm not making fun of that,
- 17:59Speaker 1: not in the LEAs either that or like, does this
- 18:02Speaker 1: man drink all the time? Is that like what him
- 18:04Speaker 1: and Kim have in common? Because I can spot an
- 18:07Speaker 1: alcoholic based on the redness of their face and the
- 18:10Speaker 1: swollenness of their face and their complexion, Like I can
- 18:12Speaker 1: clock you really fast. Some about Ken Palmer is giving
- 18:15Speaker 1: me Alki teas a little bit, and now something about
- 18:18Speaker 1: Kim is giving me Alki te's and she's getting a
- 18:20Speaker 1: little more swollen herself. No offense as the residents swollen, red, cool,
- 18:25Speaker 1: a little plump. I'm just saying she's consuming even more
- 18:27Speaker 1: sugar than she normally does, in the form of alcohol sugar.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And then making dumb fucking decisions by buying a houseboat.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Why literally, why it makes no sense.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Didn't I tell you though, that she was spending the
- 18:39Speaker 1: majority of her time with Ken Palmer and she brings
- 18:42Speaker 1: it up in their scenes together. She's like, Ken asked
- 18:45Speaker 1: me to move in with him, but I didn't want
- 18:48Speaker 1: to do that until I'm divorced, and so I bought
- 18:50Speaker 1: this crummy af boat so that when my littles come over,
- 18:54Speaker 1: we can just be in the marina and grill steaks
- 18:57Speaker 1: and stuff. It's weird, and take shits in the in
- 19:00Speaker 1: a bathroom. And I'm sure that's so fun for them. Yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 1: but every other minute of her day is spent with
- 19:06Speaker 1: Ken Palmer.
- 19:08Speaker 2: It's super fucking weird. Then she also kind of talks
- 19:10Speaker 2: about the kids. She's mentioned this a couple times in
- 19:13Speaker 2: this season, how it took them a while to get
- 19:15Speaker 2: used to Ken, but now they're coming around, they're starting
- 19:18Speaker 2: to warm up.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Honey. None of those adult kids like him.
- 19:20Speaker 2: None of them. I don't even think the littles like him.
- 19:22Speaker 2: They're just going limp because they have to.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I think Amber said something about he's fine. I like
- 19:30Speaker 1: him now, or maybe I saw that in a preview.
- 19:32Speaker 1: We know that Lydia doesn't necessarily cotton to him. I
- 19:36Speaker 1: can't imagine Mariah do's. I think all those kids are
- 19:39Speaker 1: nice to him, and they're accepting that Ken is the
- 19:41Speaker 1: new person in their mom's lives, but none of those
- 19:45Speaker 1: older kids like him except Isaac, who I guess flew
- 19:48Speaker 1: with him.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'd love to hear what he thinks about that. Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 2: it's he seems a little silent about how he feels
- 19:55Speaker 2: about all this, and I'm just waiting. I feel like
- 19:57Speaker 2: he's going to say something in this season. They're gonna
- 20:00Speaker 2: have to. But the only person that hasn't come around
- 20:04Speaker 2: to it is Barry, of course, But Kim says Ken
- 20:07Speaker 2: is willing. Ken shows up to drop off the kids
- 20:11Speaker 2: or pick up the kids or whatever, and Barry doesn't
- 20:13Speaker 2: want anything to do with him, which I love.
- 20:15Speaker 1: And Ken gets out of the car when she picks
- 20:18Speaker 1: up or drops off the kids, like to shake his
- 20:21Speaker 1: hand to say hi, and Barry doesn't want any part
- 20:24Speaker 1: of that. Look, you can't fuck up a guy's entire
- 20:26Speaker 1: life and then be upset at how he reacts. I know,
- 20:29Speaker 1: like you needly don't have the right to get butt
- 20:32Speaker 1: hurt that he doesn't want to know your slam piece.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I mean, I love it.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I wish Barry would be mad though, Like I wish
- 20:38Speaker 2: Barry would say something to.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I think Barry's mad. I think he's just very composed
- 20:43Speaker 1: for his family, yep, and for the cameras. But I
- 20:45Speaker 1: think he's pissed, oh see, and he's probably dragging out
- 20:48Speaker 1: the divorce. He's probably not going to let things go.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I love again that he's pursuing for child support. I
- 20:54Speaker 1: think he's being a little petty, and I don't love
- 20:56Speaker 1: anything she can do about it.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Nope, And you can't turn me against Barry. I think
- 21:00Speaker 2: it's great. I think he's well deserved to be petty.
- 21:03Speaker 2: He can fight for every little penny that you guys have.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I don't give a fuck. You ruined this whole entire family, Kim,
- 21:10Speaker 2: so fuck you and your sugar body agreed.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Gosh.
- 21:14Speaker 2: And then we have Olivia in Phoenix, Arizona. This was
- 21:18Speaker 2: so interesting to Lydia Grace her sister. So I guess
- 21:21Speaker 2: Lydia Grace broke up with her schlub of a boyfriend
- 21:25Speaker 2: we saw.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Last season Jay or something.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, they were long term, they were living together. She
- 21:30Speaker 2: broke up with him at the same time, conveniently that
- 21:32Speaker 2: Olivia breaks up with Ethan and now she's living in Barnix.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Ethan breaks up with Olivia whatever.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I think it's both of them. They both didn't want
- 21:41Speaker 2: to be together. But I just think it's interesting that
- 21:43Speaker 2: both these girls are now single and live in their
- 21:46Speaker 2: single lives.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I kind of love it for them. I mean they
- 21:48Speaker 1: are beautiful. Did you see their hot little yoga body girl.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I mean, this is at the time of their life.
- 21:54Speaker 1: They need to be single, they need to be out
- 21:56Speaker 1: at the bars, they need to be having so much fun.
- 21:59Speaker 1: I love it for them.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and it seems like they are totally having fun.
- 22:03Speaker 2: At least Lydia Graces. She's going to the bar, She've
- 22:05Speaker 2: got a drawer full of condom.
- 22:07Speaker 1: She's damn, she's getting foocked.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I mean, you know what, girls, live your life, Yes, yes,
- 22:13Speaker 2: live your single life. Yeah.
- 22:15Speaker 1: And there was that curious interchange when they're in Lydia
- 22:18Speaker 1: Grace's bedroom and we see Olivia kind of asking her
- 22:21Speaker 1: like how do you do it? Like how do you
- 22:23Speaker 1: go out to bars and just let guys crowd you
- 22:26Speaker 1: and touch you and buy you drinks? And Lydia's like, well,
- 22:29Speaker 1: there's boundaries, but I mean I'm out there to have
- 22:33Speaker 1: a good time. And Olivia is kind of trying to
- 22:37Speaker 1: give us this idea that she doesn't know anything about
- 22:39Speaker 1: that life. Yeah, but I'm kind of clocking her. I'm like,
- 22:42Speaker 1: come on, Olivia, you've been all around the world and
- 22:45Speaker 1: aii I know you've been into bars and pubs all
- 22:50Speaker 1: around the world, and you've met a few men yourself,
- 22:52Speaker 1: so don't act all brand new.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yep, and now you're posting videos on Instagram about hickeys
- 22:57Speaker 2: and how you're a sexual being, Like, shut up. She's
- 23:01Speaker 2: trying to like play into this idea though, that she's
- 23:04Speaker 2: innocent and she's just getting out of this divorce and
- 23:07Speaker 2: that all may be true, like she maybe not being
- 23:10Speaker 2: a hoe. She may be totally innocent and not know
- 23:13Speaker 2: what to do with it. Well.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Lydia Grace even says that she's the one who likes
- 23:16Speaker 1: to play card field and go out and date, but
- 23:19Speaker 1: it's Olivia who wants to find her soulmate.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair, but I feel like she's been fucking
- 23:24Speaker 2: at this.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Okay, that's totally fine.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And then Olivia and Lydia Grace go to get a
- 23:33Speaker 2: tarot card reading, which at first I was like, Ugh,
- 23:37Speaker 2: this is gonna be dumb, But that.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Tarot card I thought it was so interesting. I was
- 23:43Speaker 1: wondering to myself self, now did that tarot card reader
- 23:47Speaker 1: talk to the producers get the four to one one
- 23:50Speaker 1: on Olivia and her life, like did she look them
- 23:53Speaker 1: up on in and net? Did she know they were
- 23:55Speaker 1: coming in advance? Did she know all the things to say?
- 23:59Speaker 1: But it was also watching the cards as she was
- 24:01Speaker 1: flipping them, and I was like, Okay, the interpretations of
- 24:05Speaker 1: the things that she was saying not necessarily made sense
- 24:08Speaker 1: to me because it's all subjective. But I was like,
- 24:10Speaker 1: I don't know. The more I heard the tarot reader
- 24:14Speaker 1: speak and also counsel Olivia, the more she kind of
- 24:17Speaker 1: felt to me to be a little bit legit. And
- 24:20Speaker 1: of course fortune tellers psidekicks, there's a lot of them
- 24:24Speaker 1: who are phonies. Totally, yeah, absolutely, but there was something
- 24:27Speaker 1: about this one. I was like, ooh, interesting.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I felt the energy of it. I'm like, this is
- 24:32Speaker 2: kind of legit, but at the same time, it's like
- 24:35Speaker 2: whether or not the person wants to accept it and
- 24:37Speaker 2: is going to actually go through with it. And Olivia's
- 24:40Speaker 2: reaction to it told me she was shocked, like she
- 24:44Speaker 2: was like the fuck bitch. So anyway, they start the
- 24:48Speaker 2: reading first off, telling Olivia that she's a water soul
- 24:52Speaker 2: and she's going to live a long life and what
- 24:56Speaker 2: else she got Angel protection meaning her brother, yeah, which
- 25:00Speaker 2: I thought was really sweet. And Olivia cries about this
- 25:03Speaker 2: and actually, this is the first time we've heard her
- 25:05Speaker 2: talk about it. Her brother passed away. I can't remember
- 25:08Speaker 2: the name. I'm sorry, but her brother passed away. Was
- 25:12Speaker 2: it last year? Yeah?
- 25:13Speaker 1: It was the last summer, I believe, Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think it was like a car cry
- 25:16Speaker 2: I think so yes or something, and it was very
- 25:18Speaker 2: devastating to their whole family. And she kind of talks
- 25:21Speaker 2: about how when she flew back home to go to
- 25:24Speaker 2: the funeral, the way that her family and all of
- 25:27Speaker 2: the rest of the siblings that are still part of
- 25:29Speaker 2: the cult dealt with it, which was just about their faith,
- 25:32Speaker 2: like oh, yeah, it's God's plan, Like God will get
- 25:35Speaker 2: us through, Like he's with God now, it's fine. And
- 25:38Speaker 2: Olivia's kind of struggling with her own beliefs of what
- 25:42Speaker 2: happens after death and like if we go anywhere or
- 25:46Speaker 2: if it's all bullshit.
- 25:48Speaker 1: And admitting to herself that the answer is she just
- 25:51Speaker 1: doesn't know, and trying to deal with how that feels
- 25:54Speaker 1: to not really know where your brother is. Yeah, I
- 25:57Speaker 1: really connected with her on that, like that's too existential
- 25:59Speaker 1: christ slash question that I think a lot of us
- 26:02Speaker 1: have that she's had to face, which would probably be
- 26:06Speaker 1: even more energy or energetic important if you come out
- 26:12Speaker 1: of a cult, like in all of the programming that
- 26:14Speaker 1: you have from the cult that has told you like
- 26:16Speaker 1: what is true and what is not true? Like now
- 26:18Speaker 1: you have to question everything, and then your brother passes
- 26:20Speaker 1: and you're like, well, shit, where is he? Is he
- 26:23Speaker 1: even anywhere? Oh you am I? And why am I here?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Does it even matter? Like so many questions? I was
- 26:28Speaker 1: part of fundamentalist Christianity, like I was completely in the
- 26:33Speaker 1: Borg resistance is feudal, so I can connect with her
- 26:37Speaker 1: on that for sure. Oh me too.
- 26:38Speaker 2: And I thought that that was like an actual glimpse
- 26:41Speaker 2: of her authenticity, like her talking about dealing with this
- 26:44Speaker 2: and crying while she's talking about her struggles with faith.
- 26:47Speaker 2: I was like, Wow, I really respect her talking about
- 26:49Speaker 2: that and that's all valid, Like this is part of like,
- 26:52Speaker 2: in my opinion, everyone's spiritual journey. I feel like we
- 26:54Speaker 2: all have like moments where we questioned that, and some
- 26:57Speaker 2: people question it forever or some people who think it's
- 27:00Speaker 2: all bullshit, like religion's all bullshit. Heaven's bullshit, sure, and
- 27:03Speaker 2: that's all fair. So I thought that was interesting. And
- 27:07Speaker 2: then we get into the relationship part of the terror reading.
- 27:11Speaker 2: This was so good.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I was like, I was kind of surprised because she says,
- 27:16Speaker 1: essentially that Olivia is only going to be married once
- 27:21Speaker 1: and the man in her life currently is someone that
- 27:24Speaker 1: she is going to reconnect with in two years. In
- 27:27Speaker 1: two years, she's going to have two children, presumably with
- 27:30Speaker 1: the man that she's going to reconnect with, and so
- 27:33Speaker 1: we all know that to be Ethan uh huh. And
- 27:36Speaker 1: this just blows Olivia's mind because she has to conceive
- 27:39Speaker 1: of a world where that's actually possible, and from where
- 27:43Speaker 1: she sits at this moment, she can't see how that
- 27:46Speaker 1: would ever happen. But as she's talking to the camera afterwards,
- 27:49Speaker 1: she says, you know, I have to never say never, yeah,
- 27:52Speaker 1: because who knows what could actually happen.
- 27:55Speaker 2: I thought it was interesting how the terror reader also
- 27:58Speaker 2: calls out this man who's very stuck in ways, yes,
- 28:01Speaker 2: and that you guys are both going to have at
- 28:03Speaker 2: least two relationships after each other that are not going
- 28:07Speaker 2: to work out for either one of you. I'm like, damn,
- 28:11Speaker 2: And I wonder if Olivia's dating the guy that she's
- 28:14Speaker 2: dating now in this episode, or if maybe she's talking
- 28:17Speaker 2: to him or something, or maybe she's just flirting whatever.
- 28:19Speaker 2: But I wonder if she's thinking about like people that
- 28:22Speaker 2: she's interested in and being like, are they really not
- 28:24Speaker 2: going to work out? But Olivia's totally taken back by
- 28:27Speaker 2: all of this. She doesn't want to accept it. She
- 28:29Speaker 2: even questions the validity of the terror reader, sure, which
- 28:32Speaker 2: is fair. She's like, do you ever get it wrong?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Of course?
- 28:35Speaker 2: And the terror Reader's like, yeah, sure or whatever. But
- 28:38Speaker 2: and then there was another question Olivia asked, like if
- 28:41Speaker 2: I don't believe in the reading, can it still be accurate?
- 28:44Speaker 2: And the terror reading Terror readers like, yeah, for sure, absolutely.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And the Tarot reader also brings up Olivia's sense of abandonment,
- 28:53Speaker 2: having been abandoned child and now having been abandoned as
- 28:57Speaker 2: far as she sees it by Ethan, and also her
- 29:01Speaker 2: unforgiveness and like how she has to just be Elsa
- 29:04Speaker 2: and let it go. Bitch, you gotta let that shit
- 29:06Speaker 2: go otherwise you're gonna be carrying that around with you
- 29:09Speaker 2: and it doesn't serve you and so she actually said
- 29:11Speaker 2: some pretty important things that I hope that Olivia took
- 29:14Speaker 2: to heart. Yeah, we'll see if she does. But I
- 29:17Speaker 2: just loved how Olivia was so shook by it. Hmm.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I'm like, you don't have to believe it. It's like
- 29:21Speaker 2: totally fine and it's probably not gonna work out.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Well, what if they tell her, well, you don't fit
- 29:26Speaker 1: on the show anymore because you're not a Plath anymore,
- 29:29Speaker 1: and go on and have a great life, but you
- 29:31Speaker 1: can't be in front of the cameras. And so then
- 29:33Speaker 1: she comes back around in two years time and she
- 29:36Speaker 1: engages Ethan again and she tries to get back with
- 29:39Speaker 1: them in order to get back on the show.
- 29:41Speaker 2: That would be wild. I know. I'm seeing a ton
- 29:45Speaker 2: of comments on Instagram, not on Reddit, because everybody on
- 29:48Speaker 2: Reddit loves Olivia and they want just to spin off
- 29:50Speaker 2: of Olivia Plath. But everybody on Instagram is like, why
- 29:54Speaker 2: is this bitch on our TV? We don't care about
- 29:56Speaker 2: her life, we don't want to see her anymore.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Get her off. I I echoed that sentiment, Well, I
- 30:02Speaker 1: can kind of see how that might happen. Like at
- 30:04Speaker 1: some point it's like, well, what is your usefulness to
- 30:06Speaker 1: the franchise, Like, what are you actually contributing? But at
- 30:09Speaker 1: this point I'm enjoying what she's giving. I just have
- 30:11Speaker 1: to admit it to you, Beatrice.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I'm not okay, But that's okay. We can agree to disay.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I like Lydia Grace too. I like her as a
- 30:18Speaker 1: counterpoint to Olivia, and she seems like she's somebody who
- 30:22Speaker 1: calls out bullshit and she will do it to Olivia's face. Yeah,
- 30:25Speaker 1: but I also think she's just an interesting person to
- 30:27Speaker 1: come out of her particular family, and I would like
- 30:30Speaker 1: to follow her as well personally. I would No.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I think she's very interesting, and judging by the previews,
- 30:36Speaker 2: I'm kind of hoping she calls out Olivia for moving
- 30:39Speaker 2: on really fast with this new schlub that she's dating.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Do we bus do we want to see it? And
- 30:46Speaker 2: then we have Barry and the older siblings, and then
- 30:50Speaker 2: Ethan comes down down in kro They're playing some games
- 30:54Speaker 2: or whatever. Mariah's home, Micah's home, Isaac's there, Lydia's there.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Everybody's a big happy family. But the littles are with
- 31:02Speaker 2: Kim and Ken, probably Kim on the house poem. Yeah, unfortunately.
- 31:07Speaker 2: And then Ethan shows up because he flew down from
- 31:10Speaker 2: Minnesota after talking with Olivia because he needs to run
- 31:14Speaker 2: away from his problems at all times, yep, exactly, and
- 31:17Speaker 2: avoid everything, and so he's down to hang out with
- 31:19Speaker 2: the family.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Which I just really love to see it because I
- 31:24Speaker 1: think one person on this show that is actually doing
- 31:28Speaker 1: the work, whether he's in therapy or not. I think
- 31:31Speaker 1: he's really trying to do the work is Barry.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: And so to see all of his adult children choose
- 31:37Speaker 1: make the choice to be around him. See Kim can't
- 31:39Speaker 1: say that because they do not choose to be around her,
- 31:42Speaker 1: but they all choose to be around him. He's a
- 31:44Speaker 1: safe place for them to land. It's wonderful watching them
- 31:47Speaker 1: play board games. It's just so comfortable. They feel so safe,
- 31:51Speaker 1: And I just love that for him.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I love it so much. And I love that some
- 31:56Speaker 2: of the older siblings have kind of matured a little bit.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Like Mariah talked about how last year her and Ethan
- 32:02Speaker 2: were at odds and they had like kind of a
- 32:04Speaker 2: shitty relationship and she wasn't there for him, and she
- 32:06Speaker 2: really regrets that. She kind of apologizes to Ethan about that.
- 32:10Speaker 2: Micah even says he forgives Olivia and all of her bullshit.
- 32:14Speaker 2: He's like, I just want her to be happy. It's fine,
- 32:16Speaker 2: like let bygones be bygones. So I appreciate seeing those
- 32:20Speaker 2: perspectives come out. And then when Ethan shows up, he's
- 32:23Speaker 2: like welcomed with open arms from everybody, and when.
- 32:26Speaker 1: He's talking about his divorce, everyone is just sitting there
- 32:31Speaker 1: and listening. They're not prying, they're not asking too many questions.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I mean, Barry does end up asking him some questions,
- 32:37Speaker 1: but like they're so gentle and so accepting with Ethan,
- 32:41Speaker 1: which I also really loved because we know like how
- 32:45Speaker 1: much turmoil there was with Mariah and with Micah and
- 32:49Speaker 1: with basically the whole family. But they all look sad.
- 32:52Speaker 1: They're like, we feel bad that your marriage fell Aparton,
- 32:55Speaker 1: We feel bad that you're so unhappy. I know.
- 32:58Speaker 2: I did like Barry saying to the camera though, he's like, yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 2: I knew they were going to get divorced.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Everybody did, an America Barrea, Yeah, So I kind of
- 33:05Speaker 1: liked him saying that, And I felt bad for Ethan
- 33:09Speaker 1: having to break the news to the whole family because
- 33:11Speaker 1: it seems like this was the first that they were
- 33:13Speaker 1: all hearing of it.
- 33:15Speaker 2: But they all weren't surprised about it.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Don't they all watch the show with us? I don't know,
- 33:20Speaker 1: didn't they know it?
- 33:21Speaker 2: But Ethan historically has just been kind of a private
- 33:23Speaker 2: person and up in Minnesota, and I don't think he
- 33:26Speaker 2: had been visiting very much. But I liked how Ethan
- 33:29Speaker 2: made a point to say that it's ironic that he
- 33:32Speaker 2: had to give up his relationships with the family and
- 33:35Speaker 2: all the siblings and cut off all ties to make
- 33:38Speaker 2: his marriage work. And then his marriage falls apart, and
- 33:41Speaker 2: who's left the family? Yep, they never left. They're still
- 33:45Speaker 2: there for him.
- 33:46Speaker 1: That he shunned, he turned away, that he went no
- 33:49Speaker 1: contact with, they're still standing and they still embraced him
- 33:52Speaker 1: with open arms, which I think is a beautiful thing.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Yeah, And like, for as crazy as this family is
- 33:58Speaker 2: and how dysfunctional they are, first of all, every family's
- 34:01Speaker 2: dysfunctional in their own way, the fact that they all
- 34:04Speaker 2: like love each other and are still there for each
- 34:06Speaker 2: other unconditionally, I think is really great and I like
- 34:10Speaker 2: that about them. And then the older siblings leave to
- 34:13Speaker 2: go play more board games, and it's just Ethan and Barry,
- 34:16Speaker 2: and this tugged in my heart a little bit.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Did it? Yeah, because your cold dead rats, cold.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Dead heart skipped a beat because Barry I just thought
- 34:26Speaker 2: was being like the dad of the year. It's such
- 34:28Speaker 2: a good dad, I mean, so supportive.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I wished I had.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Seriously, he was so soft and so sweet and just
- 34:37Speaker 2: like trying to commiserate with him and be like, look,
- 34:41Speaker 2: I know where what you're going through. I'm getting divorced
- 34:44Speaker 2: and it fucking sucks, and I'm here for you and
- 34:47Speaker 2: you can talk to me about anything you want and whatever. Anything.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Kind of opens up a little bit to this, which
- 34:53Speaker 2: is very surprising because he's such a hard nut to crack.
- 34:55Speaker 1: It's rare.
- 34:56Speaker 2: And he talks about how he felt rush into signing
- 35:01Speaker 2: the divorce papers with Olivia, and Barry straight up tells him,
- 35:04Speaker 2: don't rush.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Be petty because he's not rushing. Yeah.
- 35:09Speaker 2: It was so good, and they just kind of talk
- 35:11Speaker 2: about like their feelings, like Ethan's super fucking depressed, and
- 35:15Speaker 2: Barry says something very pointed. He's like, you know, depression
- 35:18Speaker 2: is just a visitor, right, It's not going to be
- 35:20Speaker 2: there forever.
- 35:21Speaker 1: That's deep. Oh, I love be boo Bob Barry. Yeah,
- 35:25Speaker 1: depression comes, it sits down, sits down next to you,
- 35:28Speaker 1: and at some point it gets up and it goes yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 1: it's not going to be there forever. Yeah.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I thought that was really good, such a dad thing
- 35:34Speaker 2: to say. And then at the end, Barry's super validating
- 35:38Speaker 2: to Ethan and says, you did all that you could.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I watched you put so much work into that relationship,
- 35:44Speaker 2: and I know it didn't work out, but you did
- 35:46Speaker 2: everything you could. So don't beat yourself up over it,
- 35:50Speaker 2: because Ethan is Ethan feels like a failure, right, So
- 35:53Speaker 2: I thought that was really good. Ethan felt validated by
- 35:56Speaker 2: his dad and all is well all as well.
- 35:59Speaker 1: And I was one when they were filming this particular
- 36:01Speaker 1: scene because he said it was like forty degrees in Minnesota,
- 36:05Speaker 1: so it was probably like October of last year, which
- 36:10Speaker 1: is also when last season started to air. So Ethan
- 36:15Speaker 1: hasn't yet seen it play back and seen all of
- 36:17Speaker 1: the things that Olivia had said to camera or all
- 36:20Speaker 1: of the things that were happening behind the scenes. He
- 36:22Speaker 1: hasn't seen that yet. Oh shit. Yeah, So by the
- 36:26Speaker 1: end of this season or spring, he's going to have
- 36:28Speaker 1: probably a different perspective, and we know that he does
- 36:30Speaker 1: because of course he's now on this motorcycle journey across
- 36:34Speaker 1: the country to have his own experiences and live his
- 36:36Speaker 1: own life.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Oh god, I want to hear him talk more about it,
- 36:41Speaker 2: because historically he's not saying anything bad about Olivia or
- 36:44Speaker 2: anything like that. The only thing he said, I guess
- 36:46Speaker 2: negative about her is that she didn't think that him
- 36:50Speaker 2: sacrificing his relationship with his family was actually a sacrifice
- 36:54Speaker 2: or like worth it to fix their relationship. So I
- 36:57Speaker 2: don't know, it'll be interesting to see how that kind
- 36:59Speaker 2: of develops.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Yes, as the season goes on. Yeah, and as he's
- 37:02Speaker 1: watching it, like as he's watching last season and he's
- 37:06Speaker 1: filming this season, Like how much of what he's saying
- 37:09Speaker 1: is going to shift and change? Oh God, I can't wait. Yeah,
- 37:12Speaker 1: good stuff, good stuff.
- 37:14Speaker 2: And then we have like a little bit of a
- 37:15Speaker 2: preview where we get to see Lydia Plath singing her songs,
- 37:19Speaker 2: Yeah to the family, Sweet.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Little Lydia, Oh my God, with the heart burning for Jesus. Yeah,
- 37:27Speaker 1: Jesus is carrying her. Yeah, the.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Oh God. Then we see Olivia and Lydia Grace going
- 37:36Speaker 2: out to the bars, honey living their single life.
- 37:40Speaker 1: With Lydia giving a fake name Jackie.
- 37:43Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I think it's funny that Olivia wore a blazer to
- 37:46Speaker 1: a bar. But that's okay. She looks like a real
- 37:48Speaker 1: but that's okay, discovering herself. She still looks gorgeous.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Yep. And then we have Ethan going down to Florida
- 37:56Speaker 2: to see the little siblings and.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Kid, which is a little interest, Like I'm wondering why,
- 38:04Speaker 1: I mean, but that's how important I think he views
- 38:07Speaker 1: his relationship with his siblings. Actually, that he's willing to
- 38:11Speaker 1: put up with Kim, who he still has a huge
- 38:14Speaker 1: problem with and who he hasn't seen her for like
- 38:16Speaker 1: two years, two years. He's willing to drive down there
- 38:19Speaker 1: just to see the littles and be in her presence.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Do we think he's going to talk to her at all,
- 38:24Speaker 1: because I kind of don't.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I feel like she's going to make her presence be known,
- 38:28Speaker 2: so he's going to have to talk to her. I
- 38:30Speaker 2: mean it's quite large, quite a large presence, a large presence.
- 38:34Speaker 2: She's got a large war on her energy of sugar
- 38:36Speaker 2: energy stop it.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Oh well, and Kim even.
- 38:39Speaker 2: Calls Ethan unpredictable and says that he could have a
- 38:43Speaker 2: lot of feeling stewin and bruin that will just come
- 38:47Speaker 2: out unpredictably. And I'm like, girl, what do you fucking mean?
- 38:51Speaker 2: Like there's a lot of shit that you did to
- 38:52Speaker 2: hurt him and bother so like it's not you.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Are a massive hypocrite and some of your children really
- 38:59Speaker 1: resent you a it rightfully and you just are scared
- 39:02Speaker 1: to have to face it and have one of them
- 39:04Speaker 1: call you out.
- 39:05Speaker 2: She triggers me so much for that. It's so annoying,
- 39:08Speaker 2: Like how can you be so unaware of like how
- 39:11Speaker 2: shitty you were as a parent, Like I know every
- 39:13Speaker 2: parent makes mistakes, Like no parents perfect, Like just admit
- 39:17Speaker 2: to it, just accept it and get over it. Yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 2: acknowledge it for your kids.
- 39:22Speaker 1: She's one of those people though, that can't look at
- 39:25Speaker 1: herself accurately.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Nope.
- 39:27Speaker 1: But the body keeps the score, honey, it does. And
- 39:30Speaker 1: you know what I mean when I say like the
- 39:31Speaker 1: body keeps, Like you can lie to yourself all you want.
- 39:34Speaker 1: You can tell yourself that something is this way when
- 39:37Speaker 1: it's that way. You can do that, but your body
- 39:40Speaker 1: knows the truth. Yep, it's going to come out in
- 39:42Speaker 1: your sleep. It's gonna come out in your dreams, dreams,
- 39:44Speaker 1: it's going to come out in your physicality. Your your
- 39:46Speaker 1: body's gonna start your sugar physicality. Your body's gonna start
- 39:49Speaker 1: breaking down like Kim. You understand right that you destroyed
- 39:53Speaker 1: your entire family. It was you that lobbed the grenade
- 39:57Speaker 1: into the center of all of these beautiful people and
- 39:59Speaker 1: dis droid this family. You know that you may not
- 40:02Speaker 1: want to accept it. You might want to blame Beeboo
- 40:05Speaker 1: bob Berry. You have all of your excuses. You can
- 40:08Speaker 1: continue to lie about your adulterous ways with Kim, not
- 40:11Speaker 1: with Kim, but with kN But your body is keeping
- 40:14Speaker 1: the score. We can see it all over you, honey,
- 40:16Speaker 1: even if you're denying it.
- 40:17Speaker 2: It's hard to miss.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Oh come on now, I'm just saying stop it. It's hard,
- 40:23Speaker 1: but it's true. It is people who are in denial
- 40:25Speaker 1: to that level, people who have hurt other people and
- 40:29Speaker 1: deny it to themselves. Those are the kind of people
- 40:31Speaker 1: who break down and get sick and et cetera. And
- 40:33Speaker 1: I'm not speaking that into I want her to deal
- 40:36Speaker 1: with her shit and apologize and mean it and make amends.
- 40:40Speaker 1: But like, until you do, until you do right by
- 40:43Speaker 1: your children and by your ex husband, honey, you're gonna
- 40:45Speaker 1: have issues. You're gonna be cracking your car into trees
- 40:48Speaker 1: because you're drunk yep one hundred persons, and I don't
- 40:51Speaker 1: want that for you. I don't want it either, But like,
- 40:54Speaker 1: you have to own up to your shit otherwise you're
- 40:57Speaker 1: just gonna be a piece of shit. So I just
- 40:59Speaker 1: ad And they may not forgive you, they may not
- 41:01Speaker 1: want to have relationships with you, but guess what, you're
- 41:03Speaker 1: not entitled to have relationships with all of these people
- 41:07Speaker 1: because you're the one who damaged the relationship. But that
- 41:10Speaker 1: doesn't mean you don't have to say you're sorry and
- 41:13Speaker 1: try to make amends. It doesn't mean that you don't
- 41:15Speaker 1: have to change yourself and change your life. Kame. That's
- 41:18Speaker 1: what I want to see on my television. I want
- 41:19Speaker 1: one person Cony Brad for Rabbit Brown, Kim Plath. I
- 41:24Speaker 1: want one person to take accountability for the shit that
- 41:27Speaker 1: they've done to other people and to themselves and then
- 41:29Speaker 1: do something about it to make it better. I know
- 41:32Speaker 1: it's not my kingdom for that.
- 41:34Speaker 2: Why is it so hard? It's not that hard to
- 41:36Speaker 2: just well, I mean, I guess it is to shame. Yeah,
- 41:40Speaker 2: but get over it. It's part of the human experience.
- 41:43Speaker 1: We fuck up, Yep, we hurt people. We came here
- 41:46Speaker 1: to have all of these different experiences, and some of
- 41:48Speaker 1: us make huge mistakes and until you learn from them,
- 41:51Speaker 1: you're just you're just going to be destined to repeat
- 41:54Speaker 1: them in some way or another. Now we sound like
- 41:56Speaker 1: the tarot reader.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I know.
- 41:59Speaker 1: We're just gonna raccoon tarrot reading. Should we've talked about that.
- 42:02Speaker 2: We have on Patreon, fake psychic predictions.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I mean, yes, we have. But I really enjoyed this.
- 42:08Speaker 2: My love me too.
- 42:09Speaker 1: It was a good time.
- 42:10Speaker 2: It was a good time. Do you want to talk
- 42:11Speaker 2: a little bit about those teen hose on Unexpected to do?
- 42:14Speaker 1: Let's get into Unexpected. We will cover the last couple
- 42:19Speaker 1: of weeks because we've missed last week. Yes, yeah, start
- 42:22Speaker 1: us off bait.
- 42:23Speaker 2: We'll start with Jenna, her bff Delaney comes into town
- 42:27Speaker 2: for me.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I don't like Delaney me at all. Oh, I'm just
- 42:30Speaker 1: pretty radical. She's here to dust things up and make trouble.
- 42:35Speaker 1: She's a little hoe. I did watch the viral video
- 42:38Speaker 1: of her beating the shit out of somebody in a
- 42:41Speaker 1: porta potty at a market Cocert, super trashy, not even
- 42:45Speaker 1: twenty one years old yet. The thing about you, Delaney
- 42:48Speaker 1: is you haven't had your ship rocked yet. Uh huh.
- 42:50Speaker 1: So you're out here acting a fool. But one of
- 42:52Speaker 1: these days you keep doing that, somebody's gonna rock your
- 42:55Speaker 1: shit and you're going to grow up a little bit.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah. But I if I'm JJ, I don't want
- 42:59Speaker 1: to see her around Jen. I loved JJ these last
- 43:03Speaker 1: two episodes. I mean, he's looking out for Jenna and
- 43:06Speaker 1: looking out for their family and the fact that she's
- 43:08Speaker 1: a mom now and she needs to stop acting like
- 43:11Speaker 1: a fool like Delaney. And he's like, I don't think
- 43:13Speaker 1: she's a good influence on her, and she's not. No,
- 43:16Speaker 1: she's terrible.
- 43:17Speaker 2: And we even see flashbacks of Jenna and Delaney freaking
- 43:22Speaker 2: partying like crazy when she didn't have Luca one night
- 43:25Speaker 2: and they're like drunk and dancing around on the bar
- 43:28Speaker 2: tables and stuff and being crazy. I'm like, what are
- 43:29Speaker 2: you doing? I mean, I know you're nineteen.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Twenty or nineteen and twenty, like that is the age
- 43:34Speaker 1: that you do things like that. Well, not in a
- 43:35Speaker 1: bar because you're not legal yet. But I mean, that
- 43:38Speaker 1: is the age that you get into stuff like that.
- 43:40Speaker 1: But at the same time, you had a baby, honey,
- 43:43Speaker 1: and it does change your life forever. But you can't
- 43:46Speaker 1: take the teen out of a teen ager.
- 43:48Speaker 2: That's true.
- 43:49Speaker 1: But JJ doesn't like it. JJ's ready to move on
- 43:52Speaker 1: into the next season of his life. I think he
- 43:54Speaker 1: wants to get Jenna pregnant. I think he's hoping that
- 43:56Speaker 1: he does. He wants to marry this girl. He wants
- 43:58Speaker 1: to lock it down, so he does not like Delaney,
- 44:01Speaker 1: who is in town for Jenna's birthday. She's turning twenty right,
- 44:05Speaker 1: twenty one, and she's turning down.
- 44:07Speaker 2: She's drinking. No, she can drink now, so I think
- 44:09Speaker 2: she's twenty one.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I don't know. It doesn't matter.
- 44:11Speaker 2: It doesn't matter.
- 44:11Speaker 1: She's here for the birthday, and birthdays are like a
- 44:14Speaker 1: really big deal for Jenna and Delaney.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Okay, whatever, freaking JJ buys her a fifteen hundred dollars purse,
- 44:21Speaker 2: unlike yours.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Which is a really ugly person.
- 44:23Speaker 2: It's horrible.
- 44:24Speaker 1: It's a Chloe like person. Why would you buy that?
- 44:27Speaker 2: I mean, whatever, put.
- 44:28Speaker 1: A down payment on something that matters, like we are,
- 44:30Speaker 1: or like pay off my debt?
- 44:31Speaker 2: I know, seriously, like what are you doing?
- 44:34Speaker 1: People doing this? But anyway, but.
- 44:35Speaker 2: They go out, they're having fun or whatever. Well, no,
- 44:39Speaker 2: it's I think Delaney and JJ go and get some surprise.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Quke something some balloons, and.
- 44:47Speaker 2: JJ is not having it.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Yeah, he's quiet by nature. Though, yes, it's not personal.
- 44:51Speaker 1: I don't think no, like I think Delaney is taking
- 44:54Speaker 1: it like JJ doesn't like her, but I mean he doesn't, well,
- 44:58Speaker 1: especially the more she pushed with him, and she's like, well,
- 45:02Speaker 1: I mean, are we cool? Are we friends? And he's like,
- 45:05Speaker 1: I don't know, you bitch, But he doesn't say that. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: he just says, yeah, we're fine, we're friends. I'm cool.
- 45:08Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 45:09Speaker 1: But like she's making something out of it and he
- 45:11Speaker 1: doesn't appreciate it, which we learn later because when Delaney
- 45:15Speaker 1: and Jenna go out to party, he starts texting Jenna incessantly,
- 45:21Speaker 1: which is kind of crazy, I'm like to Delaney. Yeah,
- 45:23Speaker 1: not according to Jenna though.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Well it seemed like it from the editing. I mean
- 45:27Speaker 2: it seemed like they were texting a lot. But Jenna
- 45:29Speaker 2: wants to text him. She loves him, She cares about him,
- 45:32Speaker 2: and then JJ texts Jenna and is like, yeah, I
- 45:36Speaker 2: really like Delaney. In the car ride there, she's kind
- 45:38Speaker 2: of annoying. And then Jenna stupidly shows Delaney the text message,
- 45:42Speaker 2: which I'm just like, still immature, but they're also like
- 45:46Speaker 2: twelve years old, so like what can I expect? Right,
- 45:48Speaker 2: And then this stelet sets Delaney off and she's like, wow,
- 45:52Speaker 2: he's such a little bitch. Why can't he say it
- 45:54Speaker 2: to my face?
- 45:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're intense, Yeah, you don't really want to
- 45:59Speaker 1: do And she is putting Jenna in the middle, and
- 46:02Speaker 1: I suppose JJ is too to some degree. But at
- 46:05Speaker 1: the same time, like in terms of like your hierarchy
- 46:08Speaker 1: of relationships, like JJ is the most important, which actually
- 46:11Speaker 1: Jenna seems to acknowledge. She's just like, I wouldn't like
- 46:13Speaker 1: it if he were out at bars, just wild and out.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I would not like it. So I want to respect
- 46:19Speaker 1: him as well. So I'm like, oh my god, I
- 46:21Speaker 1: like that is she maturing a little bit. We do
- 46:24Speaker 1: love to see that, Jenna. Yeah, but Delaney doesn't want
- 46:27Speaker 1: any part of that.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Delaney's a toxic friend. She's gonna be one of those people.
- 46:31Speaker 2: It's like, what so you're a mom now, so you
- 46:33Speaker 2: can't have fun. Yeah, because I got responsibilities. I got
- 46:36Speaker 2: to grow up a little bit. Sorry, I'm not twenty
- 46:38Speaker 2: years old and single anymore. I got a whole mean,
- 46:41Speaker 2: I got a baby. I'm brewing one up.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Right now, unbeknownst to myself.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Hello, but Delaney, Oh my god, she's so annoying. I
- 46:48Speaker 2: don't want to hear her talk anymore.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Why is she in my television? Why are we featuring
- 46:53Speaker 1: her at all?
- 46:55Speaker 2: She's annoying. She's because she's drama.
- 46:56Speaker 1: We don't like her. Yeah.
- 46:58Speaker 2: And then the other thing that comes out of Jenna
- 47:00Speaker 2: and JJ and his cranium and de Laney is that Aiden.
- 47:04Speaker 1: It's a big head.
- 47:05Speaker 2: It's a huge heat. He was huge nega mind. Aiden
- 47:11Speaker 2: apparently filed for emergency custody right to fuck with Jenna.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Which makes me laugh a little bit. It's terrible, though,
- 47:19Speaker 1: Why does it mean?
- 47:20Speaker 2: He laugh?
- 47:20Speaker 1: It is? Jenna's up till now, up until her saying
- 47:23Speaker 1: she wants to be a better person for jaj I don't.
- 47:25Speaker 1: I have not liked her because of how she treats
- 47:27Speaker 1: her father, because she is so incredibly spoiled. So that
- 47:31Speaker 1: just I mean, I thought it was kind of funny,
- 47:34Speaker 1: but yeah, it's it's gonna be a headache for her
- 47:36Speaker 1: because he's filing for emergency custody. He wants Luca to
- 47:39Speaker 1: live with him, which is a bunch of horseshit because
- 47:42Speaker 1: he never even sees Luca. He agreed that if Jenna,
- 47:46Speaker 1: for how do you see that four go, if Jenna
- 47:50Speaker 1: waved his child to say, then he would let her
- 47:53Speaker 1: move to Myrtle Beach. So they had a verbal agreement.
- 47:56Speaker 1: But like you have been saying week after week, like
- 47:58Speaker 1: did you get that shit in writing? Probably, Well it
- 48:01Speaker 1: sounds like you didn't.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so now you're screws and I have to go
- 48:04Speaker 2: back to Altoona, Pennsylvania, whatever that is, and deal with
- 48:08Speaker 2: him in court, which is gonna be so annoying, But
- 48:11Speaker 2: I'm intrigued to see the drama of all of that
- 48:13Speaker 2: play out. And JJ as she leaves is like, well,
- 48:16Speaker 2: I love her, but I'm not moving back to Pennsylvania,
- 48:19Speaker 2: so if she has to go back and deal with her.
- 48:21Speaker 1: He has a career. I know, he's nineteen years old
- 48:24Speaker 1: and he has a career as a landscaper. Is that
- 48:27Speaker 1: what I think? He's got a landscaping business. I want
- 48:31Speaker 1: to say, it's a landscaping business, which I'm glad you're
- 48:33Speaker 1: working in family JJ. Great hardworking me and yeah, we
- 48:39Speaker 1: love that. Yeah.
- 48:41Speaker 2: And then we have Emily and Nate.
- 48:44Speaker 1: Emily she's having a hard time. Yeah. So she got induced, yes,
- 48:48Speaker 1: because is it her or Kayley, I'm getting him mixed up?
- 48:51Speaker 1: But she was not dilating, yeah, and so she had
- 48:54Speaker 1: to get induced. She went into labor last week and
- 48:58Speaker 1: it was a real drag. Again, it's such a shock
- 49:01Speaker 1: because nobody knows until you go into labor what that
- 49:04Speaker 1: actually means.
- 49:05Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 49:05Speaker 1: And she's a teenage girl, let's face it, she's a kid,
- 49:08Speaker 1: and she had no idea like the seriousness of the
- 49:11Speaker 1: pain involved in going into labor, and so she did
- 49:13Speaker 1: not handle that. Well, no, she didn't.
- 49:16Speaker 2: And then the baby was also rotated in such a
- 49:19Speaker 2: way where he wasn't coming.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Side up, so he's faced up yep.
- 49:23Speaker 2: And they thought the baby would move and he didn't.
- 49:26Speaker 2: And so now she has to have an emergency sea
- 49:28Speaker 2: section and she's terrified, rightfully so, because she's a baby.
- 49:32Speaker 2: She doesn't know and it's scary, and I felt really
- 49:37Speaker 2: bad for her and her dad. I was actually surprised
- 49:40Speaker 2: and happy to see her dad show some kind of
- 49:43Speaker 2: emotion other than you know, horny for Nate's mom, Karen. Yeah,
- 49:48Speaker 2: her dad actually tears up and cries about how scared
- 49:52Speaker 2: he is for her to go through an emergency sea section.
- 49:55Speaker 2: He gives her basically like his lucky necklace or something
- 49:59Speaker 2: that he's worn for the last several decades, makes her
- 50:02Speaker 2: wear that when she goes into surgery. And then she's
- 50:05Speaker 2: in fucking surgery for like what ten hours is what
- 50:07Speaker 2: they were saying, why, which doesn't make sense.
- 50:09Speaker 1: That doesn't make sense at all. I think it's like
- 50:12Speaker 1: an hour. Yeah, not supposed to be that long, But
- 50:15Speaker 1: what do I know? Far be it from me. I
- 50:16Speaker 1: had a vaginal bert, I had a baby come down
- 50:19Speaker 1: the shit honey and out the body. So I don't know.
- 50:22Speaker 2: I don't know either. So, yeah, she has the sea section.
- 50:26Speaker 2: She is fine, The baby's healthy. The baby's a big
- 50:30Speaker 2: inn like eight pounds almost nine pounds.
- 50:32Speaker 1: Yeah, almost nine pounds.
- 50:33Speaker 2: He's a big one.
- 50:34Speaker 1: He got stuck.
- 50:35Speaker 2: He digested that big old crazy like my dog boom.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Yeah, he got diagnosed obese at the doctor today.
- 50:41Speaker 2: He is fat.
- 50:42Speaker 1: He's a faty mcfatters and I think he's he.
- 50:44Speaker 2: He's an English masterive though, so he's naturally very big.
- 50:47Speaker 1: So what is fat?
- 50:48Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. But baby Westley Forest Eugene is born, yes,
- 50:55Speaker 2: which is cute. I like that he has two middle
- 50:57Speaker 2: names because I got two middle names.
- 50:59Speaker 1: And wasn't it awesome how Nate was totally there for Emily,
- 51:03Speaker 1: Like he's a sixteen year old zygote of a person.
- 51:07Speaker 1: He's like rubbing her back, he's giving her hugs, he's
- 51:10Speaker 1: touching her. I'd be like, don't dodge me for real,
- 51:14Speaker 1: But I mean, Emily needs what Emily needs, and he's
- 51:16Speaker 1: there for her. I just every single week I like
- 51:19Speaker 1: Nate more and more.
- 51:20Speaker 2: I really like him. He's stepping up to the plate.
- 51:22Speaker 2: And he even talks about how like during the whole
- 51:24Speaker 2: sea section, he was terrified and he felt so bad
- 51:27Speaker 2: for Emily because he's watching this girl he loves in
- 51:30Speaker 2: pain and traumatized by all of this. But then once
- 51:33Speaker 2: baby Wesley is born, they're both like so happy and
- 51:36Speaker 2: this wave of euphoria rushes over them and they're like, wow,
- 51:40Speaker 2: like we created this baby and that made me so happy.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Oh my god, Beatrice, you were happy. I was happy
- 51:45Speaker 1: for them. Wow, I thought it was very sweet. It
- 51:48Speaker 1: was sweet. But I feel like Emily's gonna continue to
- 51:50Speaker 1: be a bitch to Nate. Oh, one hundred percent. She's
- 51:52Speaker 1: going to get into it with Tara. He's gonna have
- 51:54Speaker 1: to stick up for her. Sweet sweet boy Nate, for real,
- 51:57Speaker 1: he's trying his best. Yes, he's just a And then
- 52:01Speaker 1: we have Lily.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Ugh, I am so bored.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Oh, I propose that we just stopped talking about her.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Why do we have to talk about her? She does
- 52:10Speaker 1: not have an existing child in her belly. Oh, she
- 52:12Speaker 1: is no longer a teenager. It doesn't matter. I don't care.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I don't care about her mother. I don't care about
- 52:17Speaker 1: her father. I don't care about her kids. I don't
- 52:19Speaker 1: care about her wedding. I don't care about her wedding dress.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I don't care at all. It's so boring. So she
- 52:24Speaker 1: goes shopping for a wide dress and she tries on it.
- 52:28Speaker 1: She's got a budget of fifteen hundred dollars, and she's
- 52:30Speaker 1: trying on all these dresses that look very matronly. And
- 52:34Speaker 1: I just wouldn't personally spend thousands of dollars or even
- 52:38Speaker 1: fifteen hundred dollars for a dress. It looks bad on me,
- 52:41Speaker 1: but whatever. Her mom starts bitching about the price and
- 52:45Speaker 1: it's a bummer. And then they get the flu and
- 52:47Speaker 1: it's three weeks away from her wedding and they have
- 52:49Speaker 1: to take the daughter to the doctor. She's got flu
- 52:52Speaker 1: bee or I don't care. Yeah, she knows she's gonna
- 52:56Speaker 1: get sick and is it gonna affect the wedding? And
- 53:00Speaker 1: everything's that's stay.
- 53:01Speaker 2: I got to quarantine. The mom can't be around any
- 53:03Speaker 2: of them because she's a germaphobe. And I don't care.
- 53:06Speaker 1: It's up, Lily. Nobody cares, literally no cares. Like you're
- 53:09Speaker 1: ruining this entire show for me, You're ruining my experience.
- 53:13Speaker 1: I'm done, got off my daba, got off my tabet.
- 53:16Speaker 2: And then we have Anaya and Day Day, which we
- 53:19Speaker 2: didn't see in this episode, but last week she got
- 53:22Speaker 2: induced henny and she had their baby.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Flames and Ashleys.
- 53:28Speaker 2: The worst mother in the history of mother's rage had
- 53:33Speaker 2: to take the whole age, like she had to take
- 53:36Speaker 2: all the attention away from Day Day, from Anaya.
- 53:40Speaker 1: She's not even there to help, right, she doesn't kill me.
- 53:42Speaker 1: She thinks she's doing her part by filming at an
- 53:45Speaker 1: angle that Dadae can't even see because he's watching her
- 53:48Speaker 1: live stream or whatever. But she's not there to help
- 53:51Speaker 1: Anaya in any way. She laughs when Anaya asks her
- 53:54Speaker 1: to rub her feet, but she gets to be in
- 53:57Speaker 1: the room and Day Day gets to be a spectator
- 54:02Speaker 1: over the.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Phone, and Ashley has the goal.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Honey.
- 54:06Speaker 2: She has the audacity to say, oh, well, Dada, you
- 54:10Speaker 2: and I had the same experience because I was experiencing
- 54:14Speaker 2: it over the phone, trying to make sure that you
- 54:16Speaker 2: had a good experience over the phone, So chill out.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I was in the same place and it
- 54:20Speaker 1: was essentially this same thing. Absolutely it wasn't because if
- 54:25Speaker 1: dayDay were there, he would probably do for Anaya what
- 54:28Speaker 1: Nate was doing for Emily. Like before you got there, Ashley,
- 54:32Speaker 1: bitch ass ooh ass, Dade was there rubbing her feet,
- 54:36Speaker 1: giving her love, listening to her, being with her, being
- 54:40Speaker 1: a partner, wanting to be present, and then your stink
- 54:44Speaker 1: ass face comes into the delivery room. God damn, do
- 54:46Speaker 1: I not like this one? I really don't want She
- 54:48Speaker 1: gets to cut the fucking core.
- 54:49Speaker 2: She does.
- 54:50Speaker 1: She gets the pleasure of cutting the cord. That is
- 54:53Speaker 1: what Dada should have done, yep, and she takes it
- 54:56Speaker 1: away from him, and you know what, she doesn't give
- 54:58Speaker 1: a fuck because she's a proud ass woman. Well guess
- 55:00Speaker 1: what pride comments before a fall facts. Well, and what's
- 55:05Speaker 1: really frustrating, she's not kind. I don't like her.
- 55:08Speaker 2: What's really frustrating about all of it is that Anaya
- 55:10Speaker 2: is now doing damage control on TikTok and like trying
- 55:14Speaker 2: to defend her mom and he saw some of that. Oh,
- 55:16Speaker 2: it's just edited that way. My mom's not actually a
- 55:19Speaker 2: bad person. You guys kind of go wrong, and like
- 55:21Speaker 2: Anaya and Data aren't together anymore, which really sucks.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Spoiler after the facts spoiler.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm I'm assuming that Ashley had something to
- 55:30Speaker 2: do with that and kind of manipulated Anaya into thinking
- 55:33Speaker 2: that Data is like this piece of shit, which to me,
- 55:37Speaker 2: I haven't seen anything bad yet besides the fact that
- 55:39Speaker 2: he fell asleep with the ultra sound appointments.
- 55:41Speaker 1: Well, but maybe that's something with his hormones or his energy.
- 55:43Speaker 1: But like he's showing up, he's trying to be there.
- 55:46Speaker 1: He's a kid too, he's a zygode. He's trying to
- 55:48Speaker 1: learn how to be a man and be there. For Anaya,
- 55:50Speaker 1: and you know what, Anaya would prefer that he was there. Yeah,
- 55:53Speaker 1: but no, you got a barrel in and you have
- 55:55Speaker 1: to take over, and you have to change fundamentally change
- 55:58Speaker 1: the entire experience, not just for Anayah but for Data
- 56:01Speaker 1: and for Anayas.
- 56:03Speaker 2: I think that's so fucked up.
- 56:04Speaker 1: It is really up. I don't like you.
- 56:06Speaker 2: I really don't like it. I really hate that she
- 56:08Speaker 2: used the mom card to get in as the one
- 56:11Speaker 2: visitor and then rob day day of a chance of
- 56:14Speaker 2: being able to see his son be born.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Yep, fucked up. Yeah, nobody likes you in America. Nobody
- 56:18Speaker 1: likes you, and I don't care, Anaya. If you want
- 56:21Speaker 1: to make a bunch of tiktoks talking about how we
- 56:23Speaker 1: don't know what really happened, okay, well we know what
- 56:25Speaker 1: we see though, And your mom is the worst.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Your mom's toxic, and you're manipulated by your mom's toxicity.
- 56:31Speaker 2: She's just gonna perpetuate the same bullshit too, and that's
- 56:34Speaker 2: what sucks.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Yep.
- 56:35Speaker 2: And the last, but not least, we have Kayleie and Graham.
- 56:38Speaker 1: So sick of this. Kaylee, she's a brat. She is
- 56:41Speaker 1: such a brat. She told her mother to shut up.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Now I wish, I wish my child would have Well,
- 56:46Speaker 1: there was that one time she told me to go
- 56:47Speaker 1: fuck myself.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Really, I know I've heard that story is a bit older.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and I did have to collect myself in that
- 56:53Speaker 1: moment and like, Okay, what am I going to do?
- 56:56Speaker 1: But no, I did raise my child to be fundamental,
- 57:00Speaker 1: very respectful, and you can see with Kaylee that she's
- 57:04Speaker 1: just not. And I wonder why it seems to be
- 57:08Speaker 1: targeted towards her mother only not her father. It kind
- 57:12Speaker 1: of gives me the vibes of like the mother is
- 57:15Speaker 1: treated that way by the father too. Have you ever
- 57:18Speaker 1: seen like toxic and or abusive family situations where there's
- 57:22Speaker 1: one person in the family who's picked on by everybody there. Yeah,
- 57:25Speaker 1: that's what I'm kind of getting for Mandy, because Kaylee
- 57:29Speaker 1: feels one hundred percent empowered to talk like this to
- 57:33Speaker 1: her mother. Honey, whooh, I don't like this girl.
- 57:37Speaker 2: She's also the youngest too, so of course she's gonna
- 57:39Speaker 2: get the most lax and she's gonna get them spoilsed
- 57:43Speaker 2: like everything. And it's really unfortunate because they're just creating this.
- 57:47Speaker 2: It's like so Mandy can sit there and a bitch about
- 57:49Speaker 2: how she treats her and all of this stuff and
- 57:52Speaker 2: how she's ungrateful. But I'm like, girl, you're literally giving
- 57:54Speaker 2: her a car at fifteen. You are literally spoiling her,
- 57:57Speaker 2: and you are allowing her to talk to you like that,
- 58:00Speaker 2: which is wild to me. But whatever. They're driving to
- 58:03Speaker 2: Kaylee's forty week appointment to check her survey.
- 58:06Speaker 1: If I had ever talked like that to my father,
- 58:08Speaker 1: oh my god, I woulda got my ass beat. Would
- 58:10Speaker 1: have been big.
- 58:11Speaker 2: Oh.
- 58:12Speaker 1: And I don't advocate for that, but I'm just saying
- 58:15Speaker 1: things have shifted on the planet since I was growing up.
- 58:19Speaker 1: Like I could not have talked, I could not have treated.
- 58:22Speaker 1: If my father saw me talk like that to my mother,
- 58:24Speaker 1: I would have got my ass beat. Oh for sure.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I'm just like this this girl. She doesn't get it,
- 58:28Speaker 1: and I'm worried too, Like when things start to get
- 58:31Speaker 1: hard with the baby when the baby comes, Mandy, are
- 58:34Speaker 1: you gonna be the one actually being the parent the
- 58:36Speaker 1: entire time while yep, Kaylee fucks off and does what
- 58:39Speaker 1: she wants.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how it's gonna go. Yeah, I already see it.
- 58:42Speaker 2: But yeah, they're going to their forty week appointment. She
- 58:45Speaker 2: calls me, Uh, what's her face? Kaylee calls beck Becky
- 58:49Speaker 2: Becky because Graham's at school. She tries to call Becky
- 58:52Speaker 2: to see if they want to be involved in it,
- 58:54Speaker 2: and of course it goes to voicemail because they can't
- 58:56Speaker 2: be bothered to answer the call of the baby mama,
- 59:01Speaker 2: Like it is amazing since.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Kaylee's forty weeks pregnant, she's about to pop. Usually when
- 59:06Speaker 1: you have your baby, yep, Graham should have his phone
- 59:10Speaker 1: available twenty four to seven, and Becky as the grandmother,
- 59:14Speaker 1: you should have your phone on no matter what.
- 59:17Speaker 3: I don't care if I'm incapacitated, if I'm in the hospital,
- 59:21Speaker 3: if I know you or my daughter are about to
- 59:23Speaker 3: pop and give birth, I'm like alerting everybody so that
- 59:26Speaker 3: i can hear the news.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Hell, I can get the fucking phone calling Becky. What
- 59:30Speaker 1: is your problem? I've seen people on Reddit defending Becky why,
- 59:34Speaker 1: like you didn't get it. She's got personality disorder, like well,
- 59:37Speaker 1: but I mean that's fair. Some of that is fair.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Becky has a mental illness, and I don't have any
- 59:45Speaker 1: idea what it would be like to live with that,
- 59:48Speaker 1: and so I do understand why people, you know, would
- 59:51Speaker 1: give her a bit of grace, but I'm just I
- 59:54Speaker 1: can't relate. I can't really, because I could be on
- 59:57Speaker 1: my death fucking bed and if one of you girls
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: is having a baby, or if one of you girls
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: has an emergency, or if something important is happening, I
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: don't give a shit.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: Yep, tell me, yep, I'm sorry, but I don't have
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: sympathy for her at all, really, because I'm like, you've
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: been knowing, and this has been a pattern that they
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: have been doing throughout the entire pregnancy. So they're just
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: showing what Kaylee and Mandy are fearing, which is that
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: they're not going to be involved.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: No, they're not gonna give to show up for the
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: photo ops and to cut the fucking.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Corn and that's it. And then Graham's not gonna want
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: to spend time with the kid because he's also fifteen
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: and stupid, and he's got a mom who doesn't.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Hold him accountable, doesn't model and demonstrate what it cares
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: to be a good parent, proactive active yep.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: So it's it's kind of hard for me to have
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: grace for Becky and Graham personally, I'm just gonna put
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: it out there, that's.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: All I know. I'm sure a lot of people agree
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: with you. Yep.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: So they get to the appointment, her cervix isn't fitting,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: whatever that means. So I think it's getting ready for
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: the baby to come through, right, Yeah, and so she's
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: gonna have to get induced. And then she has a
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: robot baby that she's trying to practice with. I don't
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: know why we're doing that now. And she doesn't care
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: about the robot baby because it's a.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Robot baby that's up. That's how she's going to be
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: with her actual baby. Yeah, Mendy yep.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Because she's fifteen. Yeah, because she doesn't know how to
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: be an adult or do anything.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: She wants to go back to school, she wants to
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: be a cheerleader again, she wants to date Graham.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: That ain't gonna happen.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Oh, it'll probably happen. You'll probably have Mandy driving her
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: over to Becky's house so she can get pregnant again
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: for sure, which I know they don't get pregnant again.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: But I do think they're still together. Really to this day,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Graham and Kayley, I believe are still together racing their
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Chonky Chunk Easton whatever his name is. Yeah, I can't
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: wait to see that baby.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: I do like seeing the babies that the stars of
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: the show both part. Yeah, they're great.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: That's it.

- 1:01:58Speaker 1: are coming out. Babies are never shitty. No, babies are
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: always their angels. It's always the parents, and it's their parents,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: and it's the conditions. But the babies are angels.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: And we love them, we do love them.
