- 0:56No topic.
- 0:57Off limits.
- 0:59And now, here's your host, David Fiorazzo.
- 1:03Thanks for tuning in to this episode, friends, family, and Christ.
- 1:06Good to see you.
- 1:07Actually, I can't see you, but you know what I mean.
- 1:09God bless you.
- 1:10We appreciate your support, your prayers.
- 1:12Along with the conference, we now have press releases.
- 1:14I'm going to try to find a way to get the press release for the Worldview Matters conference on the website.
- 1:20So maybe people can just click on and download or print that off so you can share with your pastor.
- 1:27Maybe it was really difficult the last conference we did to reach churches and to reach pastors, believe it or not.
- 1:34Because I think a lot of—well, let me rephrase that.
- 1:37Some pastors would be very interested in telling their congregations about it.
- 1:41I know it's a smaller number, but yes, there are some that we don't know we're trying to reach.
- 1:46So if you have any suggestions, let me know.
- 1:47We want to get the press release out there, and we want to get people to know the dates and just get tickets because we sold out last time.
- 1:55Well, I'm blessed to have our friend Melissa Hurray back with us.
- 1:58She's a Bible teacher, author, busy apologist, and busy host of The Hope Report.
- 2:04She's been doing that since 2021.
- 2:07And she spent 12 years counseling struggling addicts as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor.
- 2:13and in 2018 became executive director of the Lindell Recovery Network.
- 2:18She's written two books, one of them, Blackout to Blessing, and the other, just a couple years ago, Radical Freedom, a full-year devotional.
- 2:28You want to check that one out.
- 2:30And she's just written a lot of articles for a lot of Christian publications and others.
- 2:35And, Melissa, we're just so glad to connect with you again.
- 2:38Good to see you, sister.
- 2:40Hi, David.
- 2:41It's so good to be back with you.
- 2:42It's always a blessing.
- 2:43Thanks for having me.
- 2:44Yeah, so thank you.
- 2:46Now, we're going to step away from—I know you talk a lot about prophecy and Israel and end times.
- 2:53Maybe we'll touch on that, but we're going to kind of step away from what we do and talk about the body of Christ and how the remnant might be feeling a little battle-weary and how some people—
- 3:05If they watch our show or your show or some of the pastors that are coming to the conference next year, they might feel like they got to keep up with everything.
- 3:14And it is impossible.
- 3:17So before we dive into the topic a little more, could you speak to that, whatever is on your heart and share with people that are watching and listening, going, I just can't keep up anymore.
- 3:27What would you say to them?
- 3:29Well, I'm glad to hear that you're feeling that way too.
- 3:31And I know that we are not alone, especially those of us who are in ministry and who are wanting to be used by the Lord.
- 3:38And what you said about getting, going all in, I think as a former struggling person or anyone who's struggled with addiction or any life controlling problem, I mean, that consumes your life as an idol.
- 3:49It's an idol.
- 3:50You put it first.
- 3:51And once you have been freed of that, there can be this tendency, I'm going to go full on into this other thing.
- 3:57And I'm, you know, not that that's necessarily bad, but I think that is some of what has happened for me with my new, my apology and my efforts to teach the Bible and my desire to understand the Bible from a dispensational lens.
- 4:11And I've become all about that really for the past four or five years.
- 4:14I really believe the Lord opened my mind to the truth about Israel and the need to take the Bible literally in every way.
- 4:21every case that you can.
- 4:22But at the same time, I started to notice that my ability to connect with my family was suffering a little bit and struggling a little bit.
- 4:30And I was staying up late, studying, putting together teachings and streams and all these things I wanted to do.
- 4:36And sometimes my
- 4:38mom you're constantly uh spiritualizing everything you're making a sermon out of everything oh don't tell me you're going to talk about israel again and so i you know i had to dial it back a little bit and i think many of us feel that burden especially christians who are waiting for the soon return of christ that we want to be working and be busy in ministry doing everything we can but then the person right in front of us can suffer or that that opportunity to make a memory can start to uh
- 5:06that opportunity might not be there anymore if we don't put the work aside and spend time with the people in our lives.
- 5:14So I want to share, first of all, I didn't give you a website.
- 5:17It's melissahurray.com, and H-U-R-A-Y is her last name.
- 5:21Plus, you can go to YouTube and look up the Hope Report, Hope for Life in the Last Days.
- 5:28So you said something in an email exchange, and you just kind of touched on, you know,
- 5:33talking to people closest to us and not being so distracted and work-focused or ministry-focused.
- 5:41You talked about going to the Mall of America with your daughter.
- 5:44I want you to share that experience.
- 5:47I think a lot of our viewers and listeners can relate to that.
- 5:52I think that's funny that you mentioned that I said that sometimes I'll just say things on the show casually and I will think nobody really heard that.
- 5:59You know, it's funny, David, isn't it?
- 6:00You don't think about people watching.
- 6:02Sometimes you're, you're just kind of saying your thing.
- 6:05And recently, Brett Brennan house gave me the opportunity to go to the Minnesota state fair because Brandon has a lot of ties in Minnesota.
- 6:11And he said, Hey, Melissa, have you been to the fair?
- 6:14And I said, yeah, I kind of did my time there.
- 6:16And he asked if I wanted to go back and do some little standups at the different highlights of the fair.
- 6:21And I thought, wow, I haven't done this since my reporting days.
- 6:24You know, when I was a news reporter many years ago, where you do those assignment things, I had so much fun doing that.
- 6:31And we have a behemoth here in Minnesota you may have heard of called the Mall of America.
- 6:35And it used to be the largest mall, I think, in the world.
- 6:38It's not anymore, but it is pretty massive.
- 6:40four floors of commercialism and feasts for the eyes.
- 6:45I don't go there that much, but my daughter needed a homecoming dress.
- 6:49And I have to be honest, I was thinking, oh my goodness, this is such a headache going there.
- 6:54Not to mention there's a lot of things that break out in the mall, gang, rivalry, fights.
- 7:01There was sadly a young boy was thrown over the balcony some years back.
- 7:06So it's got some, you know,
- 7:10issues.
- 7:11But anyway, I wanted to go there with my daughter.
- 7:12And we ended up having so much fun getting a homecoming dress.
- 7:16And we got boba tea.
- 7:17And I walked around.
- 7:18I said, Emmy, this is just we're drunk on commercialism here.
- 7:23Look at this place.
- 7:24Everybody's running to and fro with their bags, spending their money.
- 7:27And she kind of rolled her eyes and chuckled.
- 7:29But I tried to stay out at
- 7:33religiosity and hey, let's make this religious.
- 7:36You know, we just had fun at the mall and it was nice.
- 7:39It'll be a memory I'll have for a while.
- 7:42So, I mean, that's something that a lot of people can relate to.
- 7:45I mean, you're doing something with your daughter.
- 7:48Sometimes we do get so ministry-focused.
- 7:51But I want to ask you something else, and this is about consumerism maybe.
- 7:56I think a lot of believers—I noticed this when I was—I used to do more speaking than I have done in recent years, but I used to speak at conferences, and I would notice a lot of well-meaning, solid Christians would come to these conferences.
- 8:12Some of them had an issue with getting all the information, getting all the information and learning and absorbing, and just for the knowledge, and maybe that wasn't translating over into their lives as far as application and ministering to people, sharing the gospel or doing something in their own lives.
- 8:36They're just consumers.
- 8:38I don't want to label anybody, but I think the body of Christ,
- 8:43we've got some great remnant pastors and teachers and we love to hear their videos and go watch them at a conference and listen to them but the question I guess is are we doing something with everything that we are taking in could you speak to that for a moment
- 9:00It's so good that you brought that up because what you said about the abundance of information and news and every day there are things competing for our attention.
- 9:09I'm on YouTube or I'm on Facebook.
- 9:11Oh, I want to watch this.
- 9:12Oh, there's another new prophecy update.
- 9:14There's Andy Woods.
- 9:14There's Brandon House.
- 9:15You know, there's you.
- 9:16I can't get my hands all around it.
- 9:18But I started to break it down to some of the things I've learned just in taking some seminary classes and, you know,
- 9:24and learning under sound teachers, is that I need to keep it simple.
- 9:28And one of the things is sharing the gospel.
- 9:30And I think that can get swallowed up in all of this excess, is that some people never received the right gospel.
- 9:37They were given a workspace gospel.
- 9:39So we can come back to basics and just share Christ with them, that it doesn't necessarily mean repenting of all sin.
- 9:45Yes, we do
- 9:46want to repent of sin as the Holy Spirit leads, but that the first order of business is helping someone get saved so the Holy Spirit can indwell them and they can have the power to resist sin and to be convicted and all those things.
- 9:58So asking people, have you trusted in Christ?
- 10:01Have you repented of unbelief?
- 10:03And many of them have been brought under condemnation, whether by their church or their former pastor or people in their life.
- 10:09and been given a workspace gospel.
- 10:11So I like to start with that and also encouraging people around the end times because so many people are panicked.
- 10:17They're looking at the world.
- 10:18They're looking to their pastor.
- 10:19Please give me guidance.
- 10:20There's so many weak pastors that are not, they don't have the courage to stand, you know, stand with Israel, stand with the truth, push back against culture.
- 10:29And they're looking for someone to,
- 10:31guide them.
- 10:32And so when we educate them about the end times that the churches spared the wrath and we can take them to the scriptures.
- 10:37Yes, the rapture is in the Bible numerous times and to give them assurance that Jesus promised us he would come and gather us before the wrath to come.
- 10:46And when you understand Israel, you see how much that makes sense that the tribulation
- 10:50is for Israel.
- 10:51It's not for the church.
- 10:52So I try to keep it simple with helping people understand the times we are living in.
- 10:56And that prophecy is not something to fear.
- 10:58It's to know this is how God shows he keeps his word and we can trust in it and believe in him and know the Bible is true.
- 11:05So I stick with the gospel and really sharing people with people the truth of the Bible and what's coming for the end times and that they don't have to fear it.
- 11:15Good words, Melissa.
- 11:16And I just want to remind people, whatever you learn and take in, there's nothing wrong with gaining knowledge.
- 11:21But remember how Peter ended his letter.
- 11:23Let's grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and then let's make sure we're doing God's business, God's work.
- 11:32The gospel is so important and we don't know how much time we have left.
- 11:35So it's hard, Melissa.
- 11:38We've been here how many years and the Apostle Paul wrote soon.
- 11:42You know, Jesus is coming soon.
- 11:44And here we are in 2026.
- 11:46So it's hard to keep that, I guess, expectation, the sense of urgency.
- 11:52It could be today.
- 11:53It could be tomorrow.
- 11:54That means we need to share the gospel with someone who, if they don't hear and receive and believe in Jesus and place their faith in Jesus for salvation, their destination is not in a good place.
- 12:07So I want to go back to something else you said.
- 12:09And I thank you.
- 12:10You're probably going to never send me a lengthy email again.
- 12:12No, I appreciate your guidance.
- 12:16This is really good because you do more.
- 12:19I mean, I come in once a week and record four.
- 12:23We used to do five podcasts a day.
- 12:25Now we're just, we're only doing four typically.
- 12:28So once a week, every Thursday, I'm in the studio and I don't have as much time the rest of the week.
- 12:32You do five shows.
- 12:36You do the show five days a week and then you stream a Sunday night or you do a Sunday night study and then additional live streams
- 12:45Melissa, that's a lot.
- 12:46And I just want to ask you, I'm sure you, you struggle with finding it hard to pull yourself away from ministry, thinking that if you do something for yourself, you know, to relax, to go appreciate God's nature or whatever, God's beauty, you feel like you should be back in the chair with the microphone, right?
- 13:07Tell us a little bit about that.
- 13:09Cause that's a lot.
- 13:10I can't imagine.
- 13:12Well, I am grateful that I get to do what I do.
- 13:15And you mentioned I was a counselor for 12 years and intensive outpatient treatment.
- 13:19And then after that, I continued to do some one-on-one counseling for people.
- 13:23And I was getting really burnt out.
- 13:25I honestly, I felt like I have kind of done my service and it was very rewarding in a lot of ways, but also you're bearing the weight of people's pain and people's struggle and it can get very overwhelming.
- 13:38So in 2018, I met Mike Lindell after praying for
- 13:42two years, Lord, please open a door for me.
- 13:44And I started out with counseling, helping him build the Lindell Recovery Network.
- 13:48And then it came time for him to launch his media empire.
- 13:54And he said, hey, Melissa, I wanna give you a show.
- 13:56And I didn't expect that at all.
- 13:58He said, I've always wanted to do a show called the Hope Report.
- 14:02And he said, I didn't know you used to be a news reporter.
- 14:04And it was really the Lord orchestrating all of these things and allowing me when I was in news, I was so exhausted.
- 14:10You know how it is in a newsroom and you're in Green Bay.
- 14:13And what we wanted to do was get to Green Bay because it was a middle market jump.
- 14:17And then maybe we can get to the Twin Cities or we can get to some top 15 market.
- 14:22And that really wasn't God's plan for me.
- 14:24I tried and I was fighting an uphill battle, but it's very competitive and
- 14:29He led me into addiction counseling, but the Lord brought it all around again with the broadcasting and enabling me to use some of the skills he had given me for the body of Christ.
- 14:38And so it really doesn't feel like work.
- 14:40And I know people say that it's actually harder for me to not do work.
- 14:44I'll have an idea in my head, oh, I want to teach how pastors get Romans 11 wrong.
- 14:49So then I'll spend two hours putting that together and think I can do a stream on Saturday morning before everybody gets up.
- 14:55And I just I really enjoy it.
- 14:57It doesn't seem like work.
- 14:58And with the Sunday night Bible studies, I was doing them anyway.
- 15:01And then Lindell TV said, hey, do you want want to stream this on Sunday nights?
- 15:06I was just doing them from my own, you know, restream.
- 15:09I feel that when you're doing what the Lord's called you to do, you still get tired and you get overworked.
- 15:15But I enjoy it.
- 15:17I feel as though I am in the flow of where he wants me to be.
- 15:21But I also like to shuffle dance.
- 15:22So I have an Instagram account, addict to apologists.
- 15:25It's addict number two apologists.
- 15:27And I'm mashing in their apologetics.
- 15:30addiction recovery tips and then shuffle dancing.
- 15:33That's quite the combo.
- 15:35I like learning these shuffle routines.
- 15:37So that's part of my release and my exercise enjoyment that I do just for fun and for stress relief.
- 15:45That's what that is.
- 15:46I see you doing some sort of the shuffle dance.
- 15:50That's that you're on Instagram.
- 15:52Shuffling.
- 15:53Okay.
- 15:54Let's go.
- 15:55Let's go over to your YouTube channel.
- 15:57And I, I just love some of the guests that you talk to and some of the, some of the topics that you cover.
- 16:03But one, of course, our common friend is Dr. Andy Woods.
- 16:06I've been speaking to him.
- 16:08I've not maybe 10 years.
- 16:10I've known him now.
- 16:12Maybe more, maybe more, but you did a great program with him.
- 16:16I just want to give you an opportunity to share a little bit, some of the bullet points on that one, because I thought, wow, it's a sober warning for the modern church.
- 16:26Is your pastor the problem?
- 16:29Very provocative.
- 16:31Give us a few teaser nuggets from that, Melissa.
- 16:36Well, I really appreciate the time with Andy Woods.
- 16:38I met him about a year and a half ago, and he comes on about once a month.
- 16:41And he said, Melissa, this is your show.
- 16:43You're the host.
- 16:44Tell me what you—I'll do my best, you know, to answer the questions.
- 16:48He never tries to control what is going to happen, but I'll give him ideas I've been thinking about.
- 16:53And I said, you know, just the compromise within the church.
- 16:56And I'm not trying to beat up on pastors, but lately I've been seeing so many, as I'm sure you have, two megachurch pastors, and they're just—
- 17:03they're uh they're so popular charismatic winsome everybody loves them they've got millions of followers but they're teaching a lot of compromised things like tithing and bringing the church under the mosaic law and so i really wanted to get andy's take on some of the the major infractions i guess of people who are supposed to be shepherding the people and when i contrast today's modern day pastor
- 17:29Dr. Andy Woods, it's such a stark contrast because I was at his church in February, as you know, and Andy is, you know, he's preaching, expository preaching from the Bible.
- 17:40There's no real frills.
- 17:41And then after the service, he's sitting, this is like when I was a kid at the Presbyterian church in the basement before they had rainbow flags.
- 17:49He's sitting in the basement on a folding chair, talking to the people.
- 17:53I mean, can you imagine a pastor actually sitting there engaging with his people?
- 17:57But
- 17:57That seems to be totally antiquated now that you would know your pastor, that they might pray for you because they're just...
- 18:06I don't know, it seems more like a influencer than a pastor.
- 18:09I did a show on that today about these pastors, these celebrity pastors.
- 18:15And I just wanted to get some of his ideas about where's the church going?
- 18:20Because we know the Bible tells us one world religion that we're just careening toward that as ecumenicalism is pushed and all this tolerance and all roads lead to heaven and the White House faith office, that's another.
- 18:34Another topic for another day.
- 18:35But, you know, I just wanted some sensibility.
- 18:38And that's what I get from Andy is it's just no frills.
- 18:42It's here's here's what the Bible says, you know, and I think some of us are coming back to that.
- 18:46Maybe we've been drunk on charismania and now we just we want something sensible and rational.
- 18:52I like that.
- 18:53Charismania.
- 18:54I think of worshiptainment.
- 18:57Yes.
- 18:57Yeah.
- 18:58You know, I got to share this.
- 18:59It's been a while since I talked about it.
- 19:01And I saw, I really, my heart just sank.
- 19:05I was watching this behind the scenes video of this big seeker sensitive church, mega church pastor, very well-known pastor from a church that I'm sure, not Joel Osteen, by the way, because we, you know, we rightly so, we beat up on him a lot.
- 19:19But this is a different this is a secret sensitive church in middle America.
- 19:22They've got, I guess, a bunch of churches around.
- 19:25So he's given a behind the scenes look while the worship team is rehearsing.
- 19:29He's coming in the door and the camera's following him.
- 19:32And you're going just it almost seems like reality TV.
- 19:35And it's like, yes.
- 19:36And so the camera's following him.
- 19:38He peeks into the worship thing, and there's the light show, and they're doing the worship, and there's some smoke, kind of like fog, and the lights, and I'm going, okay, this is like before the service on a Saturday night, I guess, or something.
- 19:51And he walks down this hallway, showing the big facility.
- 19:54They go into this green room.
- 19:56And I'm thinking, what's this?
- 19:58What's this, a rock concert?
- 19:59What is this, you know, Lambeau Field or the Rush Center?
- 20:02Or, you know, I'm thinking, why are they, this is a church.
- 20:07And he walks in there and they've got...
- 20:10Coffee machines and the Keurig and the espresso and they've got a minibar, they've got the refrigerator, they've got the couches and the cool lights like you would see in a cozy coffee shop.
- 20:20And I'm going, this is a, I just struggled with that.
- 20:25And I think I still struggle with the idea.
- 20:28of a lot of churches or pastors thinking that they've got to show this worldly side that, oh, Christians are people too.
- 20:38Christians are like the world too.
- 20:39But the problem, Melissa, and I'll let you talk, Romans 12 says, Do not conform to the world's way of doing things.
- 20:47Do not conform, but be transformed.
- 20:50by the renewing of your mind.
- 20:51And what I'm seeing, some of these churches do, they're trying to attract the world.
- 20:57In order to do that, sometimes you have to conform to get the world into your church, and that's what's happening with a lot of these seeker-sensitive churches.
- 21:05Go ahead.
- 21:07Oh, I hear you.
- 21:09I agree.
- 21:09I've recently started to feel blessed that I have a small ministry.
- 21:13And I thought I'm not going to appeal to the masses.
- 21:15Most are not going to want to talk about Israel or God's future plans or prophecy.
- 21:20You know, we get mocked for being dispensationalists, taking the Bible.
- 21:23Literally our position gets misrepresented.
- 21:25So we're not going to typically have enormous platforms because of that appeals to the world.
- 21:31That's what the world wants.
- 21:32The world wants
- 21:33a more fluffy form of Christianity.
- 21:36You know, and yes, you're saved technically, trust in Christ, you're saved, but he doesn't want us to stay that way.
- 21:42We're going to have consequences at the beam of judgment seat.
- 21:45And also, you know, say you remain an addict, you may, your life may end early, you will have consequences for sin.
- 21:52We don't want that for anyone.
- 21:53We want to grow in sanctification.
- 21:55But I've been in many churches, like what you're describing.
- 21:58My previous church, I was on the worship team, and I saw exactly what you're talking about, is that we're standing on stage and there's a countdown.
- 22:07You're seeing the countdown, and then you do your songs.
- 22:09And then if the pastor is late because he's going around to different campuses, then we stretch out the worship.
- 22:16And we begin to do extra songs.
- 22:18And then we say, wait, the spirit is going to move.
- 22:20So we're going to go, I feel like God's going to do something.
- 22:23And I started to just get so disillusioned by it.
- 22:26I thought, how much of this is really move of God and how much of it is manufactured?
- 22:31How much of it is, OK, we're just we're holding out here because the pastor has to travel to all these campuses.
- 22:37And all the same things that you hear, you know, God wants your heart, your tithe.
- 22:41I'm not against tithing.
- 22:42I'm against pastors manipulating people to tithe and saying God's not going to bless you if you don't tithe.
- 22:49You're robbing God.
- 22:50You know, you need to put that aside before you do anything.
- 22:52I don't care if your house is in foreclosure, you pay your tithe.
- 22:55So I began to just feel really, I thought I'd rather...
- 22:59study and listen to online pastors and maybe I'll find a church.
- 23:05But I just the Holy Spirit was convicting me and it was also about Israel.
- 23:08I need a church that stands with Israel.
- 23:10That's a litmus test, I believe.
- 23:12I think in the last days, God is using Israel to reveal who is really following him.
- 23:17Because I honestly don't think you can have a heart for God, maybe you're saved, but have the heart of God and miss just completely
- 23:26You know, you aren't able to see what it says in the Bible about his heart toward his people and his plan for the future for them.
- 23:33I just think you're blinded by pride if you can't see that.
- 23:36So I need a church that stands with Israel.
- 23:39Yeah, I agree.
- 23:40And all the guests that we have on now, again, it goes without saying, I hate to be redundant, but that doesn't mean we support everything the Israeli government does.
- 23:48Absolutely.
- 23:48Yeah.
- 23:49So, you know, but from the biblical worldview, from Scripture, we support Israel because God loves Israel.
- 23:57And there's a future for Israel.
- 23:59Now, a couple of minutes left.
- 24:01What does Melissa have coming up?
- 24:04Guests that you're going to interview, maybe something you're working on.
- 24:08a book or something?
- 24:09Just share a little bit about that.
- 24:11Well, you know, I've gotten ahead of myself many times in the past and I've spoken prematurely, but I had worked.
- 24:18I wrote something that is being published.
- 24:21It's editing.
- 24:22It's being edited.
- 24:23It's in the process right now.
- 24:24I'm very excited about it.
- 24:25It's been almost a year for this process to go forward.
- 24:29And the second I get to go ahead, I can't wait to, you know, put it all out there.
- 24:34But
- 24:34I have wanted to do something relating, not only, you know, my past of addiction and working with addicts, that's definitely a tool that God uses to help people and reach people.
- 24:46I'll continue to do that and giving practical guidance.
- 24:48But I also wanted to move into more Bible teaching.
- 24:51I'd like to do more with women, helping women to become discerning, to read the Bible literally.
- 24:57Unfortunately, there's a lot of
- 24:58fluffy female books, false teachers, pastors.
- 25:03I don't believe women can be pastors.
- 25:05I don't think it's scriptural, but there's a lot of women who aren't being discipled.
- 25:10So I'd like to somehow fill a need there, maybe working on creating a Bible study or something that can be geared to women who want to get serious about reading the Bible and studying it.
- 25:21Excellent.
- 25:22Excellent.
- 25:23So pray for Melissa that God would direct her steps.
- 25:27And we're looking forward to this, the book or the project coming out.
- 25:31So bringing this full circle in the last couple of minutes, we were talking about earlier a sense of urgency.
- 25:36How do we maintain that, that eternal perspective?
- 25:40One of the last things you said in your email to me was, I just don't think we're going to be here much longer.
- 25:47I don't know that a lot of people have that view because they're looking at the world instead of the Word.
- 25:53Melissa, just encourage the body of Christ.
- 25:56Yeah, people want to believe they're building the kingdom when the kingdom is not going to come until Israel repents.
- 26:01But we can see everything is coming to an end for the church age and that we do need to live with that kind of expectancy, not to be discouraging to anyone, but that if you have put your trust in Christ, your rapture ready, and that you're going to be, whether you believe it or not, or you go up like this, you're going to be raptured when he comes to gather his church.
- 26:19And I would say in the meantime, take every opportunity that you can to share the gospel and to point lost people to Jesus, be mindful.
- 26:28This is all buzzword, treatment therapy buzzword, mindfulness, but being in the present moment with whoever is in front of you, that's the most important person right now is how can you touch their life?
- 26:40How can you impact them positively?
- 26:42How can you be salt and light?
- 26:43Mindfulness, focusing on the one and not explosive growth,
- 26:47I've been guilty of it too.
- 26:48You know, Lord, please expand my territory.
- 26:51Well, I'm grateful for every person that wants to subscribe or be part of what I'm doing for the Lord or what he's doing through me, I should say.
- 26:59And we don't need to have a big platform.
- 27:01We just need to be speaking truth and focusing on that one person who's going to be impacted by it.
- 27:08Amen, sister.
- 27:09Just obedience.
- 27:10And we must obey God rather than man and seek to please him.
- 27:14And he'll take care of the rest.
- 27:17Thank you.
- 27:17Went by so fast.
- 27:18Thanks for your time again, friends.
- 27:19Melissa, parade.com, H-U-R-A-Y.
- 27:23We will continue to connect and keep up with you.
- 27:26And we'll do this again soon, Lord willing.
- 27:28That was awesome.
- 27:29Thank you so much for having me.
- 27:31You're most welcome.
- 27:32Friends, thank you for watching, listening, and sharing.
- 27:35Please do share this one.
- 27:36God bless you.
- 27:37And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
- 27:40See you next time.
