- 0:02Speaker 1: A bit of a dance party in the studio. I
- 0:04Speaker 1: might be out of breath. That's today's riding Big ninety
- 0:06Speaker 1: eight point seven. It's gave an Angie. We get some
- 0:08Speaker 1: sunshine this afternoon with a high of sixty one. I
- 0:11Speaker 1: know it's a little cloudy now, but it will improve
- 0:13Speaker 1: later on.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Today, Gabe, I have joined the elite club of parents
- 0:18Speaker 2: who have kids that walk control over the radio station.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that they.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Listen to in the car. There's you know, there's some
- 0:25Speaker 2: years where you can just choose whatever you want, and
- 0:28Speaker 2: then they hit a certain age and I know I'm
- 0:31Speaker 2: not alone where the kids are like no, put on
- 0:33Speaker 2: my song. Put on this song for.
- 0:35Speaker 1: My parents on the way to visit Grandpa and Grandma.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It was en Sync and Backstreet Boys there and back
- 0:40Speaker 1: every time.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Hey well, I had Liam, my eight year old, put
- 0:45Speaker 2: together a playlist for what he would want to listen
- 0:48Speaker 2: to in the car. I feel like it's a pretty
- 0:51Speaker 2: solid list.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Okay, are you ready?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm ready right here. It is.
- 1:00Speaker 3: To show.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Because aren't you listen? You little clean You told me
- 1:09Speaker 2: good job and us.

- 1:45Speaker 2: Christy, I'm justing.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Now you have a a stare super specially love that
- 1:52Speaker 1: so mad in there.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Yes, this is the playlist that happens when you've taught
- 1:57Speaker 2: your child right and they love listening to be ninety
- 2:00Speaker 2: eight point seven.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I know all those songs.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a solid playlist. So I took this
- 2:05Speaker 2: to Facebook and I wanted to know your kid has
- 2:07Speaker 2: control of the ox chord? What is their playlist? Terry
- 2:12Speaker 2: said that her kid Tat's playlist would be all TikTok songs.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Whatever's trending and popular on TikTok. So here's what this
- 2:19Speaker 2: will sound like. God, thank you for sun, thank you
- 2:29Speaker 2: for thank you for talk, Thank you who are taking
- 2:42Speaker 2: If done, X move on to the next what to X?
- 2:49Speaker 3: Move on?
- 2:50Speaker 1: I think I know all those songs. I don't know
- 2:52Speaker 1: if I know that last one.
- 2:53Speaker 2: There, Well, that's trending on TikTok. And Terry, your kid
- 2:57Speaker 2: Tate has some good taste. I will I will say.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And now Katie May. When she's not listening to Big
- 3:02Speaker 2: ninety eight points seven, her car is bumping the Blue
- 3:07Speaker 2: Dance Mode song on repeat, and parents, we've all been there.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I'm during this, I'm not a kid.
- 3:22Speaker 1: And Martin Short will become the host of Match Game.
- 3:29Speaker 1: If you don't know what Match Game is? The show
- 3:31Speaker 1: debuted in nineteen sixty two. It has aired on various
- 3:34Speaker 1: networks and will feature four contestants competing for twenty five
- 3:38Speaker 1: thousand dollars by matching the answers of six celebrities in
- 3:42Speaker 1: a fill in the blank style game.
- 3:45Speaker 2: All okay. They rebooted this a while back with Alec
- 3:48Speaker 2: Baldwin as the host, so now they're bringing it back
- 3:51Speaker 2: with Martin Short. That's right.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Martin Short obviously very popular, very famous guy. But I
- 3:56Speaker 1: do think Only Murders in the Building has kind of
- 3:59Speaker 1: boosted that status a little bit. He's Meryl Streep, now,
- 4:02Speaker 1: exactly right. I was curious, then, what a game show
- 4:06Speaker 1: do you think you could win the most money on
- 4:08Speaker 1: or you'd be the most successful. I guess you know what.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I feel like I would be really good at double
- 4:15Speaker 2: dare see.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I don't know if I know what this show is.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You would kind of mention that to me earlier.
- 4:19Speaker 2: Okay, Double Dare if you are a millennial or even
- 4:23Speaker 2: gen X, I want to say Double Dare was hosted
- 4:26Speaker 2: by Mark Summers and it was on Nickelodeon. And you
- 4:29Speaker 2: face off against another team, You get asked trivia questions.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You have to answer them right. If you don't, then
- 4:35Speaker 2: you have to take the Dare the physical challenge, and
- 4:38Speaker 2: then you have to do some physical challenge thing like
- 4:41Speaker 2: swim through a pool of pudding in whip cream to
- 4:43Speaker 2: find a flag, like.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Ridiculous stuff like that.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very Nickelodeon, and I feel like that is
- 4:49Speaker 2: where I would shine. What about you, Gabe, what would
- 4:52Speaker 2: be your game show that you would crush it?
- 4:54Speaker 1: That's interesting. I'm literally doing the same game show as you,
- 4:57Speaker 1: accept minus the trivia, because I'm worthless when it comes
- 4:59Speaker 1: to that stuff. Do you remember Guts on Nickelodeon, Guts
- 5:04Speaker 1: and or Global Guts. Yes, it's basically just a bunch
- 5:07Speaker 1: of young people doing physical challenges. Yeah. I swore that
- 5:13Speaker 1: when I was twelve. Yeah, and you know, in my
- 5:16Speaker 1: brain going to be a professional athlete there. I would
- 5:18Speaker 1: have never lost. Who was the guy who won all
- 5:21Speaker 1: the Jeopardies in a row Ken Jenny Ken Jennings.
- 5:24Speaker 5: I would have been the Ken Jennings of guts that
- 5:27Speaker 5: growing up on. However could thirty four year old Gabe
- 5:31Speaker 5: do it now? You know, still an elite athlete. I
- 5:35Speaker 5: think seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 5:39Speaker 5: What game show would you be the most successful at?
- 5:42Speaker 1: Eric?
- 5:43Speaker 4: I think I would do really well on the Price
- 5:44Speaker 4: is Right?
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm always guessing the right price on that show. I
- 5:48Speaker 1: think I do really well and make a time.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Plus. Who doesn't love Plinko?
- 5:53Speaker 2: I do love Plinko by far the best game I
- 5:55Speaker 2: turn it up. Yeah, but the issue is we're living
- 5:58Speaker 2: in the time of tariffs. I don't know that I'm
- 6:00Speaker 2: going to be guessing any of the prices right.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Martin Short has returned to ABC as the host of
- 6:10Speaker 1: Match Game. Well, Martin Short hasn't returned. Match Game has returned.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Martin Short's going to be the host. We want to
- 6:15Speaker 1: know this morning, if there was a game show you
- 6:17Speaker 1: could be on, which one do you think you'd be
- 6:20Speaker 1: the most successful on. I do want to mention, and
- 6:22Speaker 1: I feel terrible that I cannot remember this lady's name,
- 6:26Speaker 1: But there was a lady from Fargo. Who I do
- 6:28Speaker 1: believe appeared on the Wheel of Fortune?
- 6:30Speaker 2: Oh? Really, yes, how'd she do?
- 6:32Speaker 1: I think she did all right? I think it was
- 6:34Speaker 1: the Wheel of Fortune. Of course I cannot remember now,
- 6:37Speaker 1: so maybe she'll text us at seven oh one two
- 6:39Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven. I feel bad. I
- 6:41Speaker 1: read the story online the other day and now I don't.
- 6:45Speaker 2: It's okay, don't feel bad. We did get a lot
- 6:47Speaker 2: of comments on Facebook when we asked this question, and
- 6:51Speaker 2: a lot of people said wheel of Fortune. Kateles said
- 6:54Speaker 2: wheel of Fortune, just like the lady who yeah from Fargo.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Jan wayite Lynd said fitly Feud, and I feel like
- 7:03Speaker 2: family feud is so hit or miss. You have to
- 7:05Speaker 2: really be able to trust the people you go on
- 7:07Speaker 2: that show with. It's not just reliant on you. And honestly,
- 7:10Speaker 2: I feel like my little brother would ruin it for
- 7:13Speaker 2: us all on family few. I don't know that he's
- 7:16Speaker 2: too created to creative with the answers. Correct Faith said
- 7:21Speaker 2: supermarket sweep. Oh, I forgot about supermarket sweep.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That's so fun.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That would be fun. I feel like I would dominate there.
- 7:29Speaker 2: We grew up really poor and so it was always
- 7:32Speaker 2: I knew what was too expensive for us to get.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So if I was on supermarket sweep, I would just
- 7:36Speaker 2: go for all the things I could never get as
- 7:38Speaker 2: a child.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Get the real fruit loops, not the off brand. That's right,
- 7:43Speaker 1: that's right, all right. We do have Cynthia on the line. Cynthia.
- 7:46Speaker 1: If there was a game show, which one do you
- 7:48Speaker 1: think you'd be the most successful one?
- 7:50Speaker 4: Jeopardy hands down, with a wide range of knowledge and
- 7:53Speaker 4: quick recall.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I'd be a buzzsaw on that buzz I would be
- 7:56Speaker 1: terrible on Jeopardy, I mean goodness, maybe not as bad
- 7:59Speaker 1: as when I was young, but I'd be goodness awful
- 8:01Speaker 1: at it. Right now.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I'd probably be good at pop culture Jeopardy, right, but
- 8:05Speaker 2: I don't know about the regular Jeopardy.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Yeah then yeah, yeah. If there's a game show that
- 8:09Speaker 1: I would never go on because it would be detrimental
- 8:12Speaker 1: to my ego. Are you smarter than a fifth grader?
- 8:16Speaker 1: I am showing up at last place?
- 8:18Speaker 5: There?
- 8:23Speaker 1: We like starting the show off on a positive note.
- 8:25Speaker 1: A great way to put a smile on our faces
- 8:28Speaker 1: this morning. Hopefully this does this for you as well.
- 8:30Speaker 1: As we have little victories, Angie, what's a little victory you.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Want to share as someone who is quite the rule follower.
- 8:37Speaker 2: I've been feeling frustrated.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I'm just kidding.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I've been feeling very frustrated because there are a lot
- 8:44Speaker 2: of school zones in my neighborhood and I always follow
- 8:49Speaker 2: the school zone signs. When it's flashing, I go twenty
- 8:51Speaker 2: miles per hour. Every other driver, I think hates it,
- 8:55Speaker 2: and they even like drive around me because like, oh
- 8:57Speaker 2: this school zone. Good. Yeah, and it's been very frustrating
- 9:02Speaker 2: to watch, like, hello, will, you could be hurting children. Will. Yesterday,
- 9:06Speaker 2: in the span of an hour during the flashing lights,
- 9:11Speaker 2: four people got pulled over.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Four does feel pretty good speeding.
- 9:17Speaker 2: In the school zone? And I was like, yes, justice,
- 9:20Speaker 2: and so maybe that sounds a little petty, but it's
- 9:22Speaker 2: for the safety of the children, and so I'm very
- 9:25Speaker 2: glad that maybe this will stop them from speeding in
- 9:28Speaker 2: a school zone in the future.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah. In the in the macro of this, it's good
- 9:33Speaker 1: that people are slowing down, and it's for the safety
- 9:36Speaker 1: of the children. Exactly for the micro of it, the
- 9:39Speaker 1: fact that you got to be there to see it
- 9:40Speaker 1: and witnessed it had to have felt pretty good. Victorious,
- 9:44Speaker 1: all right, my little victory. I, my wife and I
- 9:47Speaker 1: paid off our cell phones. You know, you get your
- 9:50Speaker 1: phone bill every month, and you know, the phone portion
- 9:53Speaker 1: of the bill is not really that expensive. It's like
- 9:56Speaker 1: twenty something dollars so two phones, so I think it's
- 9:59Speaker 1: like fifty bars added on to our bill, right, Yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 1: well we no longer have to do that, so we're
- 10:04Speaker 1: gonna take that. Yeah, I'm gonna take that fifty bucks
- 10:07Speaker 1: and sprint to the nearest casino put it all on red.
- 10:11Speaker 1: But no, it's just kind of nice to knock that
- 10:13Speaker 1: one out. And it was even kind of cool. They
- 10:15Speaker 1: texted us saying congratulations you paid off your phone, of course,
- 10:19Speaker 1: immediately followed by the are you willing or are you
- 10:22Speaker 1: interested in looking at the new YadA YadA YadA. No,
- 10:24Speaker 1: not in the time of terrace exactly. And I found
- 10:30Speaker 1: out what mom really wants for Mother's Day?
- 10:34Speaker 5: Oh he did.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It's actually not a lot. To be honest, everybody on
- 10:39Speaker 1: earth could give this to mom. What is it?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Because I'm a mom, I need to know if I
- 10:44Speaker 2: am in alignment.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It turns out ninety four percent of moms said they
- 10:50Speaker 1: would just like an uninterrupted nap.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Ding ding ding. What don't we have for him, Johnny. Yes, absolutely,
- 11:00Speaker 2: an interrupted sleep.
- 11:01Speaker 1: They might want a little more than that, but ninety
- 11:03Speaker 1: four percent of moms would take on an uninterrupted nap
- 11:08Speaker 1: where the kid doesn't need this. They're not going mommy, mommy,
- 11:11Speaker 1: can I you know what I'm saying.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't need your paint handprints on a paper
- 11:17Speaker 2: like I need a nap.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yeah. When is the so you are a mom, when's
- 11:21Speaker 1: the last time you feel like you got an uninterrupted,
- 11:25Speaker 1: complete nap that was like an hour, hour and a
- 11:28Speaker 1: half long.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's been eighty foy.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yeah, And so I was kind of curious. You know,
- 11:37Speaker 1: moms just walk around zombifide every single day.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I feel like I have literally fallen asleep standing up
- 11:44Speaker 2: sometimes just walking around, and then I like kind of
- 11:47Speaker 2: snap back and I'm like, oh, was I asleep?
- 11:49Speaker 1: Did you just black out for a second? Yap happen?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm so tired all the time.
- 11:53Speaker 1: And I was curious, now knowing and feeling horrible for tired,
- 11:57Speaker 1: sleepy moms out there, I was curious, did you ever
- 12:00Speaker 1: accidentally fall asleep someplace you shouldn't because you clearly aren't
- 12:04Speaker 1: getting the naps you need during the day.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I have gab. I hate to admit this.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I fell asleep at a funeral really yeah, it's because
- 12:13Speaker 2: it was like a really long one with like a
- 12:16Speaker 2: two hour mass like it was a lot.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And yeah, I, you know, was grieving with.
- 12:22Speaker 2: The but I wasn't super close to the person who
- 12:24Speaker 2: had passed, and so I wasn't as invested in the grieving.
- 12:29Speaker 2: And I was tired, and I took a little nappy nap.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Wow, sitting I felt so bad, bold admit. And we
- 12:40Speaker 1: have discovered moms want a nap for Mother's Day, just
- 12:44Speaker 1: an uninterrupted nap, a nap where they can shut their
- 12:47Speaker 1: eyes at one in the afternoon. They don't have to
- 12:50Speaker 1: worry about sitting an alarm to get little Timmy or
- 12:53Speaker 1: little Sarah to t ball or soccer practice. Just an
- 12:56Speaker 1: uninterrupted nap, which led me to believe there's a lot
- 12:59Speaker 1: of walking zombie moms out there.
- 13:02Speaker 2: That's right. Let's face it. We never get that nap,
- 13:04Speaker 2: so we fall asleep in unconventional place to get them inappropriate.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Times, get them where they fit them. You know what
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm saying, Get that get in while you can. So
- 13:12Speaker 1: we wanted to know, did you ever fall asleep at
- 13:14Speaker 1: a time you shouldn't have seven oh one two eight
- 13:17Speaker 1: zero one nine eight seven, Ellie, when did you fall
- 13:20Speaker 1: asleep when you shouldn't have.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Well, I'm a bus driver and I actually fell asleep
- 13:24Speaker 4: at work, but not while I was driving. I was
- 13:28Speaker 4: I was on call. My kids were off that day,
- 13:30Speaker 4: and I was on call, and I was just waiting
- 13:32Speaker 4: around and sitting in the driver's room and got caught
- 13:37Speaker 4: napp And.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I'm glad we got the clarification of not driving. Real concern.
- 13:41Speaker 1: That would have been a big giant whoops and probably
- 13:43Speaker 1: would have been part of the trenders coming up at
- 13:45Speaker 1: seven o'clock on Big ninety eight point seven. The most
- 13:52Speaker 1: popular TV show right now on Netflix is the show You, Yeah,
- 13:57Speaker 1: which a lot of people are watching. We actually we
- 14:00Speaker 1: had a lot of people talk about this when we
- 14:01Speaker 1: were talking about shows the other day. They're watching You.
- 14:04Speaker 1: So we are not going to spoil anything, of course not,
- 14:08Speaker 1: we would never. I am curious what you thought about
- 14:10Speaker 1: the final season of You, Angie, because I finished it
- 14:14Speaker 1: the other day.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Okay, I've been waiting for you to finish it so
- 14:18Speaker 2: that I could discuss this with you.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I was very disappointed, really very disappointed.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I was very disappointed. It lacked the luster of the
- 14:28Speaker 2: previous seasons. Even the season before this one Season four
- 14:31Speaker 2: was like not my favorite, sure, and then this season
- 14:35Speaker 2: I was like, oh, they were just really trying to
- 14:37Speaker 2: wrap this up. Yeah, Like it didn't seem like there
- 14:39Speaker 2: was enough thought into what the character had been like
- 14:43Speaker 2: this entire time.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I was gonna say the exact same thing. The final
- 14:47Speaker 1: season for me was also a little bit disappointing. I
- 14:49Speaker 1: didn't think it was horrible, but it was. It's not
- 14:52Speaker 1: as good as the first couple. He just you're basically
- 14:55Speaker 1: just watching a dude who's completely unhinged. Now, of course
- 14:59Speaker 1: he's a horror unhinged guy in general.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Well, one of the things that made the first couple
- 15:04Speaker 1: of seasons so interesting for me was all of the
- 15:07Speaker 1: things in the last couple of episodes that he does
- 15:11Speaker 1: off camera that we don't see. It's like, oh my god,
- 15:13Speaker 1: this guy really is a psychopath and he really stalks
- 15:16Speaker 1: these people like this. Yeah, and there's none of that
- 15:20Speaker 1: in the last season. It's pretty disappointing for me. Basically
- 15:24Speaker 1: just off a guy go insane.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't a satisfying ending. Now, I'm
- 15:31Speaker 2: a completionist, so I have to finish watching it, even
- 15:35Speaker 2: if while I'm watching it, I'm like, oh, I don't
- 15:37Speaker 2: love this. I gotta finish it for my own mental health.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we were curious just how we felt about this show.
- 15:45Speaker 1: What are some other shows where you know what the
- 15:47Speaker 1: ending just it really kind of didn't hit for you.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Let us know. It's seven oh one two eight zero
- 15:51Speaker 1: one nine eight seven.
- 15:53Speaker 2: We have a few on from Instagram. Erica, Oh, this
- 15:58Speaker 2: is a popular one. Erica said, How I Met Your
- 16:00Speaker 2: Mother the only finale that was so bad it made
- 16:05Speaker 2: me regret ever watching the show in the first place. Yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 2: we waited nine seasons to see How You Met the
- 16:10Speaker 2: Mother only to find out, oh, this is a spoiler,
- 16:13Speaker 2: but this show being gone so only to find out
- 16:15Speaker 2: she was dead the whole time. Not only that, but
- 16:18Speaker 2: entire story arcs that took multiple seasons to build up
- 16:21Speaker 2: get thrown away like garbage. I feel like when a
- 16:25Speaker 2: show has been on for way, way long that writers
- 16:29Speaker 2: a lot of times writers get fired. New writers come
- 16:31Speaker 2: in and like the continuity, right, they weren't paying attention
- 16:35Speaker 2: to what happened in prior seasons. So then they just
- 16:37Speaker 2: start making stuff up and storylines don't make sense.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It's sad. I gave up at season seven on that show.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I tried and I got season seven. I was like, man,
- 16:45Speaker 1: this is just long, right, Just how did he meet her?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Just tell me.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Alex also chimed in Game of Thrones, this is an
- 16:53Speaker 1: answer for a lot of people. But Alex said the
- 16:56Speaker 1: entire final season was a joke. Once again spoilers, but
- 17:00Speaker 1: the show obviously is long gone. Brand gets se Iron
- 17:02Speaker 1: throwne despite being the least qualified de Naries, turns evil
- 17:06Speaker 1: literally out of nowhere. John snow goes back to where
- 17:09Speaker 1: he started. They took two to three seasons of character
- 17:12Speaker 1: and plot development and crammed it into a season that
- 17:15Speaker 1: was only six episodes with all caps. They took an
- 17:20Speaker 1: entire extra year off to come up with that one
- 17:23Speaker 1: of the most well written shows ever made, and then
- 17:26Speaker 1: suddenly had a final season that was written by someone
- 17:30Speaker 1: who had never seen a single version of the show.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It did feel like that Alex.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Just spoke to my soul. Game of Thrones was very
- 17:37Speaker 2: important to me. It was at a time in my
- 17:39Speaker 2: life that I really needed a show to glom onto
- 17:42Speaker 2: and when the final season aired. I mean it was
- 17:47Speaker 2: disappointing on such a level, to the point where I
- 17:49Speaker 2: couldn't talk about it. I didn't talk about it for
- 17:51Speaker 2: like two years. I couldn't go online. I was like,
- 17:53Speaker 2: nobody talked to me about but Game of Thrones. This
- 17:55Speaker 2: has crushed my soul. Alex nailed it. I feel you
- 18:00Speaker 2: you'll seen. I hope you feel seen too.
- 18:01Speaker 1: You know it's worse is if you go back and
- 18:03Speaker 1: rewatch it. I recently did that. I was like, I'm
- 18:05Speaker 1: just gonna watch the last season. Was it really that bad?
- 18:07Speaker 1: I think it's worse the second time around. Bridy Big
- 18:12Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven. We have a high of sixty
- 18:15Speaker 1: one today and we will see some sun eventually. It's
- 18:17Speaker 1: Gabe it Angie.
- 18:18Speaker 2: If you ever listen, oh my, if you're all right there,
- 18:23Speaker 2: if you're ever listening to us, by the way, and
- 18:25Speaker 2: we're in the middle of a story and you're like hooked,
- 18:28Speaker 2: but then you got to go into work and you're like, oh,
- 18:30Speaker 2: I missed what they were saying. You can always check
- 18:33Speaker 2: out our podcast, go to The Big ninety eight point seven,
- 18:38Speaker 2: Can I talk app or website?
- 18:41Speaker 1: Hey, you might want to go back and re listen
- 18:43Speaker 1: to this very moment on the podcast with the Big
- 18:46Speaker 1: ninety eight point seven app we have got Megan with the.
- 18:49Speaker 3: T Okay.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Man. She liked a woman.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I discovered something yesterday that is so hard for me
- 19:00Speaker 1: to believe. Not that this is what single ladies might
- 19:03Speaker 1: want more of, but ninety five percent of single women
- 19:08Speaker 1: said this. And it wasn't just a small, little nine
- 19:10Speaker 1: out of ten sample size. This was a sample size
- 19:13Speaker 1: of ten thousand single adult women.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Now, nine thousand, five hundred women who are single and
- 19:21Speaker 1: adults all agree they wish this would happen more in
- 19:24Speaker 1: their life.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I feel so out of the loop because I'm not single.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I need you to play the part of the single
- 19:30Speaker 1: lady in this scenario here, Angie. I know you're not single,
- 19:34Speaker 1: but well you are the lady in here, right. If
- 19:37Speaker 1: you could do that for me, that'd be great. But
- 19:39Speaker 1: because you have no other option, right, lack of options.
- 19:42Speaker 1: That's right. There is a professional dating coach who conducted
- 19:45Speaker 1: this study over the past year with ten thousand women
- 19:49Speaker 1: across the United States and the United Kingdom. So it's
- 19:52Speaker 1: here and over the pond.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, women at a ninety five percent rate
- 19:58Speaker 1: say they wish they were approached by men more in
- 20:03Speaker 1: real life. They wish dudes would talk to them more
- 20:07Speaker 1: in real life as opposed to trying to slide in
- 20:09Speaker 1: the DMS or on tender on the dating apps on websites,
- 20:12Speaker 1: which was very surprising to me.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Really, why you think girls like guys sliding into the
- 20:18Speaker 2: DMS better.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I just think it's a little bit more safe, comfortable.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I don't know, it's a car you it can't be
- 20:26Speaker 1: weird to get out of, like a goofy scenario at
- 20:28Speaker 1: the grocery store.
- 20:30Speaker 2: That's true. Well, I don't know. Maybe you gotta get
- 20:32Speaker 2: your ris up, my guy, Maybe your aura needs to
- 20:34Speaker 2: be better, because I feel like I agree with the
- 20:37Speaker 2: single women. Now there's a difference between some guy some
- 20:41Speaker 2: jerk cat calling you. That's not what that is.
- 20:44Speaker 1: No, that's not what they mean.
- 20:45Speaker 5: I know.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I'm saying that you can like ignore a DM. It's
- 20:48Speaker 1: pretty tough to ignore a dude following you in a
- 20:50Speaker 1: grocery store. That's what I'm saying is why I'd feel
- 20:52Speaker 1: like us slide in the DMS is probably feel safer.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Right, I get that, I get that angle. I get
- 20:58Speaker 2: while you're surprised, But I think you need to be
- 21:00Speaker 2: aware that the context that these women are saying in
- 21:04Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure is like you just come up respectfully
- 21:08Speaker 2: and approach You're not talking about kat call me when
- 21:12Speaker 2: I'm walking by a construction site, no offense to construction.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Yeah, this isn't an this isn't an invite to now
- 21:18Speaker 1: go be a creep.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Right, But I feel like, yeah, I feel like there
- 21:21Speaker 2: are a couple of factors. When it's in person, you
- 21:23Speaker 2: can better like tell right off the bat if there's
- 21:27Speaker 2: chemistry for a woman, I think we know immediately when
- 21:29Speaker 2: we start talking to you if we feel that little spark,
- 21:32Speaker 2: and then if it's in the DM, that can be muddy.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And also, guys, you're not the greatest When you slide
- 21:38Speaker 2: into the dms. You have some grammar errors. Sometimes you
- 21:42Speaker 2: don't know what pickup line to use, like this is
- 21:45Speaker 2: actually for your benefit you spelt yeah, yeah, no, I
- 21:51Speaker 2: I'm with it. But single ladies, let us know seven
- 21:54Speaker 2: on one too eight O one ninety eight seven. Do
- 21:56Speaker 2: you agree? Would you prefer dudes approach you more and
- 22:00Speaker 2: person instead of sliding into those dms?
- 22:08Speaker 1: All right, I have some gabs good news of the
- 22:09Speaker 1: day for you, and you might want to get maybe
- 22:12Speaker 1: some Tier one are my tissue papers. That's what I'm
- 22:15Speaker 1: looking for, some tier papers.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Tier absorbers. Yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Anyway. Good news of the day involves a car salesman
- 22:24Speaker 1: who donated a new minivan a minivan to a family
- 22:28Speaker 1: whose son is undergoing cancer treatment. Loreen, a mother of five,
- 22:34Speaker 1: has been traveling between Boston and her home to care
- 22:38Speaker 1: for her son, Dylan, who was diagnosed with cancer. Her
- 22:41Speaker 1: friend Kara, started a fundraiser in early April to help
- 22:44Speaker 1: the family purchase a car. Now, it was initially hoped
- 22:48Speaker 1: to raise enough money for a used car to ease
- 22:51Speaker 1: the transportation for this mother, Loreen and her family to
- 22:55Speaker 1: get back and forth. And after hearing about this situation,
- 22:59Speaker 1: a man name Russ appears. He is the owner of
- 23:03Speaker 1: a car dealership and he reached out to assist. He
- 23:06Speaker 1: said he really enjoys helping people and he's been in
- 23:09Speaker 1: car sales for over four decades. Oh wow. The donation
- 23:13Speaker 1: came as a complete surprise to Loreene.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Literally, we burst into tears. It's just a huge stress
- 23:22Speaker 2: off of Loreen's shoulders to not be worrying about transportation.
- 23:26Speaker 1: As you can hear She describes the van as being overwhelming,
- 23:29Speaker 1: and her friend saying, you know, the tears just came
- 23:31Speaker 1: with the family and friends have begun referring to the
- 23:33Speaker 1: vehicle as a miracle van. Now there is some more
- 23:37Speaker 1: good news. Dylan's treatments are ongoing in there going pretty
- 23:40Speaker 1: well so far, oh good, and that does offer some
- 23:43Speaker 1: relief during this difficult time. The gift has been a
- 23:47Speaker 1: huge weight taken off Loreen's shoulders. So how sweet is
- 23:50Speaker 1: that of that guy to do I do need the tissue,
- 23:52Speaker 1: you need the tear absorbers? Yes, yes, very beautiful story
- 23:56Speaker 1: and obviously a very nice guy to help out a family.
- 23:58Speaker 1: You could really use it right now. The world's full
- 23:59Speaker 1: of people. If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
